Council adopts new Willard City economic development strategy
The Willard City Council adopted a long-term economic development strategy Aug. 13 after delaying the vote in July to give councilmembers more time to review the plan. “Pretty straightforward,” Mayor Travis Mote said before the vote. “I thought it looked good.” LRB Public Finance Advisors prepared the plan with funding from a 2024 state Rural Communities Opportunity Grant.
