- 0:52Speaker 1: doing me? You gotta turn hurting them, You gotta turn
- 1:40Speaker 1: to turn them out, turn, got to turn them out.
- 1:44Speaker 1: Then turn the water the water go. Come come on
- 1:58Speaker 1: your faddy, huh. I show will good morning everybody, y'all
- 2:04Speaker 1: listening to the bars, come on, dig me, no want
- 2:07Speaker 1: and on it. Steve Harvey got a radio show, Man
- 2:11Speaker 1: on man on man, grateful for It comes with a
- 2:15Speaker 1: huge amount of responsibility. I didn't really know I was
- 2:18Speaker 1: gonna have to be this responsible, you know? Um, can
- 2:21Speaker 1: I share something with y'all? I started out to Finally
- 2:25Speaker 1: I had gotten on track and was able to see
- 2:28Speaker 1: a way to even pursue my dream. It has been
- 2:33Speaker 1: a long, a long trip that I've been on, and
- 2:36Speaker 1: I've gone through so many phases of it. It is
- 2:40Speaker 1: rewarding along the way to accomplish your dreams. What I'm
- 2:45Speaker 1: saying is this, let me let me put it together,
- 2:47Speaker 1: because I got so much running through my head right now.
- 2:51Speaker 1: You know it's it's one thing to accomplish your dream,
- 2:54Speaker 1: but there's joy in the process of achieving it. See,
- 3:00Speaker 1: some people are so caught up in the goal, the
- 3:04Speaker 1: final goal, that they find no joy, no enjoyment in
- 3:10Speaker 1: the process. If you have found what it is you
- 3:16Speaker 1: want to do and you strike out on that journey,
- 3:20Speaker 1: please understand you are far more blessed than the average person.
- 3:25Speaker 1: Do you understand that to know what it is you
- 3:29Speaker 1: really want to do, to find your work in life,
- 3:33Speaker 1: your purpose, to find out what direction you want to
- 3:38Speaker 1: go in, is such a blessing. The average person if
- 3:41Speaker 1: you sit down and talk to them, oftentimes don't have
- 3:46Speaker 1: their life on track. And it'd be some people that
- 3:48Speaker 1: you're looking at you think, God it going on because
- 3:50Speaker 1: of their appearance, their swagger, or they walk like it,
- 3:55Speaker 1: they talk like it, they look like it. But if
- 3:57Speaker 1: you sit down and talk to the average person, the
- 4:00Speaker 1: average person man does not know what their purpose is,
- 4:05Speaker 1: has not discovered what they want to do, and have
- 4:09Speaker 1: no idea how to get there. If you are on
- 4:11Speaker 1: the other side of that, if you understand your purpose,
- 4:16Speaker 1: if you have an idea of what you want to be,
- 4:18Speaker 1: and you are on your way there. You are truly blessed,
- 4:23Speaker 1: and in that blessing, you must recognize it as a blessing.
- 4:28Speaker 1: You must recognize the fact that you are you are
- 4:34Speaker 1: on the right side, and that there should be a
- 4:37Speaker 1: sense of accomplishment and a feeling of pride in you
- 4:41Speaker 1: that you are on track to accomplish your goal. See
- 4:45Speaker 1: what used to happen was sometimes I used to keep
- 4:47Speaker 1: my nose so on the grindstone that I wouldn't even
- 4:52Speaker 1: look up and realize. Man, hey, man, I know you're
- 4:56Speaker 1: trying to get here, but Steve, hold on, man, can't
- 4:59Speaker 1: you see what you you've done so far? Can't you
- 5:02Speaker 1: find just some joy in the process. See, a lot
- 5:05Speaker 1: of us lose the joy of the blessings God has
- 5:08Speaker 1: given us because we're looking at the end. Tomot, I
- 5:11Speaker 1: ain't there yet. You on your way. I'm gonna give
- 5:14Speaker 1: you an example. I had a friend who told me
- 5:18Speaker 1: that they wanted to be a million now, and they
- 5:21Speaker 1: asked me some questions and I told him, so they
- 5:24Speaker 1: started the process. And I am telling you, this dude
- 5:29Speaker 1: works extremely hard. So about a year later we were talking.
- 5:36Speaker 1: He had found this business. He had set his goal,
- 5:43Speaker 1: and he was working towards it. Then about two years later,
- 5:46Speaker 1: I ran up into him again. We were talking about
- 5:48Speaker 1: it and everything. It's a man really really appreciate advice,
- 5:52Speaker 1: he said, Man, but this is all jacked up, man,
- 5:56Speaker 1: because I still ain't made that million I was talking about.
- 6:00Speaker 1: I said, well, hey, man, just just keep at it.
- 6:02Speaker 1: It's coming. He's a man. Keep at it. Man, You
- 6:04Speaker 1: know how long I've been doing this? And I got
- 6:07Speaker 1: quiet because, yeah, I know exactly how long you've been.
- 6:09Speaker 1: It's been two years now. And I didn't say that
- 6:12Speaker 1: to him, but I said to myself, yeah, two years.
- 6:15Speaker 1: He said, Man, I've been grinding so long. Man, it's
- 6:17Speaker 1: just it ain't having it from me. I said, wait
- 6:20Speaker 1: a minute, man, hold on, hold on. I said, about
- 6:23Speaker 1: how much you're making right now a year, man, about
- 6:27Speaker 1: two hundred and fifty thousand. I quit breathing. I said, well,
- 6:33Speaker 1: my man, two years ago you didn't have a clue.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Two years later, you're making a quarter of a million dollars.
- 6:43Speaker 1: I said, man, do you understand how blessed you are?
- 6:47Speaker 1: I said, Man, your family was about to get put
- 6:50Speaker 1: out two years ago. You don't bought a house. Yeah, man,
- 6:54Speaker 1: but this ain't the house. I really won't. Ohoa, Pardner,
- 6:58Speaker 1: whoa I got that? I got that house? You really
- 7:02Speaker 1: won't make Mike call five eight million. I don't know.
- 7:04Speaker 1: But man, y'all got a house. You're making the payments,
- 7:08Speaker 1: you drive it. You ain't out no more. I said, holder. Man,
- 7:11Speaker 1: you got to stop. I said, you got to stop.
- 7:13Speaker 1: I said, man, because right now, man, you you coming
- 7:15Speaker 1: across as real ungrateful to me. So I know, God,
- 7:19Speaker 1: who has done all this for you got to be
- 7:21Speaker 1: looking at you with his own folded. But then he God,
- 7:24Speaker 1: so he probably handling it all together different. I was
- 7:26Speaker 1: just speculating with him, and so he said, Man, why
- 7:28Speaker 1: are you tripping like that? Man? Man, you act like
- 7:31Speaker 1: don't nobody want to have none but you? I said, whoa, man,
- 7:33Speaker 1: where are you going with this conversation? I said, Oh,
- 7:36Speaker 1: I didn't come to you. I just came to you
- 7:37Speaker 1: and ask you how you doing. And I'm trying to
- 7:39Speaker 1: point out to you that the journey that you started on,
- 7:43Speaker 1: that you are on your way, and you are in
- 7:45Speaker 1: the process of accomplishing your goals, and can you not
- 7:48Speaker 1: feel some joy and some pleasure in your accomplishment? Quit
- 7:53Speaker 1: tripping on the fact that you ain't made a million
- 7:55Speaker 1: yet you on your way. You don't went from your
- 7:58Speaker 1: He thought, this dude was making fifteen thousand a year.
- 8:00Speaker 1: You making quarter of a million dollars in two years.
- 8:02Speaker 1: May come on, man, can't you see? Can't you see? So?
- 8:06Speaker 1: He said? Eventually a man, I kind of see what
- 8:09Speaker 1: you're saying. But that ain't about nothing to me because
- 8:11Speaker 1: I ran up into him a year and a half later.
- 8:16Speaker 1: How you doing, man, man, I showed, wish I'd appreciate
- 8:20Speaker 1: it my life when I had it like that. I said,
- 8:22Speaker 1: what you mean, had it like that? Man? Just fell
- 8:25Speaker 1: on some hard times? Man, I'm right back why I was.
- 8:30Speaker 1: And then we talked. I said, hey, man, don't worry
- 8:32Speaker 1: about it. I said. Once you know how to accomplish something,
- 8:34Speaker 1: I said, you just reapply the same principles and start
- 8:36Speaker 1: on over again. Man, you know how hard it is
- 8:39Speaker 1: to be to start over. Okay, my man, hold up, partner,
- 8:42Speaker 1: you can do yourself like this again. First, you wasn't
- 8:45Speaker 1: grateful for what you had. Now you're looking at the
- 8:48Speaker 1: fact that you might have to start over, and you
- 8:49Speaker 1: know how hard it is to start over. But you
- 8:52Speaker 1: have the knowledge the principles, and you got a little
- 8:54Speaker 1: bit of money to go on and get it going again.
- 8:57Speaker 1: I said, Man, don't keep doing this to yourself. I said,
- 9:00Speaker 1: I mean, you ain't grateful no matter what God do
- 9:02Speaker 1: for you. So what you need to do, partner, stop
- 9:05Speaker 1: reassess yourself the fact that you were not grateful in
- 9:09Speaker 1: the first place. Could that be the reason why? You know? Man,
- 9:13Speaker 1: maybe I'm not calling it because I ain't God. I
- 9:15Speaker 1: do not know how he think, nor do I claim
- 9:17Speaker 1: to know. But let's just imagine for a moment. Let's
- 9:22Speaker 1: just say, maybe for a moment, maybe God said, Okay,
- 9:28Speaker 1: you ain't happy with this. Okay, didn't handle it your way?
- 9:31Speaker 1: You obviously ain't happy with the way I'm bringing it
- 9:34Speaker 1: into your life. You want to handle it your way,
- 9:36Speaker 1: Go ahead and handle it because he will let you
- 9:38Speaker 1: have it your way. Can I tell you that he
- 9:40Speaker 1: will let you do it exactly the way you want
- 9:42Speaker 1: to it because He gives us all the power of choice.
- 9:45Speaker 1: So then maybe he said, Okay, you don't appreciate the
- 9:48Speaker 1: way I'm doing it. You don't like the favor I'm
- 9:50Speaker 1: showing you. You think it's take it too long. I'm
- 9:52Speaker 1: gonna let you do it your way. I'm not gonna
- 9:54Speaker 1: turn my back on you. I'm just gonna let you
- 9:56Speaker 1: do it your way. Just just say maybe he said that.
- 10:00Speaker 1: Now he right back where he was. So what I
- 10:02Speaker 1: try to get the young cat to understand was, man,
- 10:05Speaker 1: appreciate your life for what it is, because like life,
- 10:09Speaker 1: Jenny's got that song that he got out off this album. Still,
- 10:13Speaker 1: I still believe it could have been worse, and now
- 10:16Speaker 1: that it is worse. What's on your mind now, folks,
- 10:20Speaker 1: if you are on that side of life where you
- 10:23Speaker 1: have figured out what you want to do, you know
- 10:25Speaker 1: how you're gonna get that, and you know your purpose.
- 10:28Speaker 1: You're accomplishing what the majority of people never ever do.
- 10:31Speaker 1: So be grateful for your process. Don't tumble yourself, don't
- 10:34Speaker 1: throw yourself off the cliff. It's gonna be all right.
- 10:38Speaker 1: Success takes a measure of time. It is not easy.
- 10:42Speaker 1: If success were easy, everybody would be successful. All right, y'all.
- 10:47Speaker 1: I'm sorry this morning if I sounded a little all
- 10:49Speaker 1: over the place, in a little jumble, but that's how
- 10:51Speaker 1: it came to me. So you know, y'all, keep your
- 10:55Speaker 1: head up, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, animals, creatures, insects, birds,
- 11:07Speaker 1: foul lizards, mammals, see creatures, jellyfish, donkeys, pilgrims. How y'all
- 11:21Speaker 1: doing this morning? What's up? Shure? Hey Steve? How are
- 11:24Speaker 1: you good? I'm good? What's up with your call? The
- 11:27Speaker 1: Hey Steve? What's what's up? Little people? What's up with you? All? Right?
- 11:35Speaker 1: Tommy Tom big dogg and dog? Yeah man yo yo yo,
- 11:40Speaker 1: so uh welcome block. Now, thank y'all for yesterday. I
- 11:45Speaker 1: needed that. We are here for you this. It's just
- 11:50Speaker 1: been a lot man. Just you know, you know they
- 11:52Speaker 1: say pressure buster pipe. Sometimes you just gotta set your
- 11:56Speaker 1: pipe down. Getting boy, I'll fix that. I just put
- 12:03Speaker 1: my damn pipe down. It's a new revelation. Yeah, that
- 12:08Speaker 1: your pipe down. Dog, you're running too hard. So I
- 12:11Speaker 1: appreciate everybody. So I heard y'all had a good time. Yeah,
- 12:16Speaker 1: we have fun fun yesterday. Any questions for me? Anybody
- 12:20Speaker 1: want to know anything? Anything bothering you? Anybody? Well, what
- 12:24Speaker 1: did you do yesterday? Since you didn't burst in your
- 12:27Speaker 1: back anybody else? I don't know what. I don't know
- 12:33Speaker 1: why y'all up in that one? Questions you didn't qualify? Well,
- 12:39Speaker 1: have you started preparing for the vacation. Yet now the
- 12:41Speaker 1: countdown begins. Now. It would have started on April one,
- 12:45Speaker 1: but I had this weekend with a bunch of frat brothers.
- 12:48Speaker 1: I didn't start countdown because I was just trying to
- 12:50Speaker 1: survive the weekend. I hadn't been up. I've been up
- 12:54Speaker 1: three thirty am every morning. Oh but I found out something. Man,
- 13:00Speaker 1: I'm in I'm in pretty good shape. I didn't know
- 13:02Speaker 1: it because I was in the room full of old
- 13:04Speaker 1: as men sleep. No, I was waiting people up to
- 13:09Speaker 1: get out my damn room. One dude told me, who
- 13:13Speaker 1: ain't we ain't really all that tight? Man? Just going
- 13:16Speaker 1: in there? Man, I lock up when I leave part.
- 13:21Speaker 1: I don't go to bed with nobody in my damn room.
- 13:23Speaker 1: I'm sleep No y'all in here, no part of the
- 13:27Speaker 1: damn how that walk? Hey, man, you get your ass out.
- 13:32Speaker 1: I locks and bolts my doors and that little sliding
- 13:37Speaker 1: patio dough. No, I get something to get in between
- 13:39Speaker 1: that two and nobody walk in on me when I'm sleeping.
- 13:43Speaker 1: I getting this bad room. I locks that damn dough too.
- 13:46Speaker 1: That's the way I go to sleep. Don't you have security, sir? No?
- 13:51Speaker 1: I don't take nobody because I went my boy, you know,
- 13:54Speaker 1: I didn't have to worry about that. Yeah, so it
- 13:58Speaker 1: was interesting man. So I went on, I put it out,
- 14:00Speaker 1: got all right, you know, dropped that video on them,
- 14:04Speaker 1: that video with you was getting I gotta give it
- 14:09Speaker 1: to you. I let him. I'll just let you know.
- 14:11Speaker 1: I wasn't gonna do it. It gave me life, Steve.
- 14:13Speaker 1: And then my son said Dan, let him have it. Yeah,
- 14:17Speaker 1: let him. I said, all right, I'll say, Steve, say
- 14:20Speaker 1: let him. Have you had your dark glasses on in? Oh,
- 14:26Speaker 1: make a saph five mold? All right? Coming up at
- 14:31Speaker 1: thirty two after the hour inside something funny? Do you
- 14:35Speaker 1: guys pretend to know information and conversation? Sometimes? Let's think
- 14:39Speaker 1: about that. Yeah, we'll find out right after this you're
- 14:42Speaker 1: listening to show, all right. Sometimes we all find ourselves
- 14:48Speaker 1: in a conversation, okay, be a political, scientific, educational, financial,
- 14:54Speaker 1: even hip hop pop culture based conversations where we just
- 14:58Speaker 1: have no clue, I mean, clueless to what the person
- 15:01Speaker 1: is talking about. Okay, So sure to do with sports busted.
- 15:09Speaker 1: So do you guys chime in and ask people to
- 15:12Speaker 1: to get you up to speed or do you just
- 15:15Speaker 1: not in agreement like you know, you know, like I
- 15:18Speaker 1: actually get into conversation. I wanted to start with you. Yes,
- 15:22Speaker 1: I don't get into convert like bringing up a subject course.
- 15:26Speaker 1: You know, I ain't got nothing now, I don't know
- 15:28Speaker 1: nothing about it. Engineering making a bridge? Oh man, You
- 15:35Speaker 1: know me and my father man used to work construction.
- 15:38Speaker 1: You know, I used to work on bridge. We remember
- 15:40Speaker 1: had the cracks in the bridge. So I knew all
- 15:43Speaker 1: about the structural design over bridge, what called the fracture
- 15:47Speaker 1: spaces in it. And I just didn't let that. Yeah,
- 15:50Speaker 1: did you or your father go to engineering school? I
- 15:53Speaker 1: mean take engineering and construction company? Or no? No, no, no,
- 16:00Speaker 1: Now we work for this company, Frank buddy, thank buddy. Contract.
- 16:05Speaker 1: Have you ever driven over a bridge? Oh? Hell yeah,
- 16:07Speaker 1: I've been on a lot of bread. That's how we
- 16:09Speaker 1: knew how they cracked. You know, structural engineering position is
- 16:12Speaker 1: what we would take hold was the uprooted problem that
- 16:15Speaker 1: diverted the situation into a cracking. First, he sounds good
- 16:21Speaker 1: talking about there was like a board game like the
- 16:25Speaker 1: go ahead, go ad call. I was gonna ask him though,
- 16:28Speaker 1: so how would you what would you recommend to update
- 16:31Speaker 1: a bridge? Well? I think update is a very very bridge.
- 16:35Speaker 1: The Golden Bride Bridge has been needing an update and repairing.
- 16:39Speaker 1: You have been several earthquakes as we wreaking the foundation.
- 16:43Speaker 1: But I think what we're gonna have to do is
- 16:44Speaker 1: we're gonna have to do a section at the time.
- 16:46Speaker 1: I think we're gonna to break that bridge in half.
- 16:47Speaker 1: So we had this one way traffic on one way,
- 16:50Speaker 1: and then once you get the one one lane blocked
- 16:53Speaker 1: off and then you can do the restructure work on
- 16:55Speaker 1: the other side, and then you reinforce it up under
- 16:57Speaker 1: with welding beams and that a joint on them back
- 17:00Speaker 1: together that way to fix that whole thing. You mentioned earthquakes. Um,
- 17:06Speaker 1: I was wondering, you know, we're out here in LA
- 17:09Speaker 1: what do you know that a lot of seismatologists have
- 17:11Speaker 1: been on the news lately saying there's a possibility that
- 17:14Speaker 1: there could be an earthquake coming up soon. You agree
- 17:18Speaker 1: with that? Four point seven? Four point seven? What are
- 17:21Speaker 1: you basing that on? Yeah? Called lands four point six
- 17:26Speaker 1: you predict? Are you a seismatologist? Buy any chance you
- 17:31Speaker 1: have you know anybody that is? No, I'm a quake intologist.
- 17:42Speaker 1: Yet so far, so good. Yeah, anything, just anything I
- 17:51Speaker 1: couldn't got can get right with it. In houses, houses,
- 17:54Speaker 1: you know a lot about houses. Yeah, I grew up
- 17:57Speaker 1: in a housing project. Aetologist. I meant seismologists, seismatologists. That's
- 18:05Speaker 1: why I said quake, because I knew you didn't know
- 18:07Speaker 1: what you're Go ahead and come. You know, do you
- 18:13Speaker 1: know anything about designing airplanes? Oh? Absolutely absolutely? You mean
- 18:17Speaker 1: like the engines and stuff are inside? Which one, Well,
- 18:21Speaker 1: let's go behine. Rose Royce is number one engine manufacturer
- 18:27Speaker 1: of jet planes in the world right now, now that
- 18:30Speaker 1: I believe that's from you. Yeah, I believe Rose rots
- 18:34Speaker 1: is number one jet manufacturer of engine parts and motors
- 18:38Speaker 1: in the world today. And so whatever I'm picking out
- 18:42Speaker 1: a plane, always go Rose for engine. Okay, what's the
- 18:46Speaker 1: best um feat to get up um altitude? Or you
- 18:51Speaker 1: want to fly at least thirty three thousand, but if
- 18:53Speaker 1: you're in the war substantial plane, you can get up
- 18:57Speaker 1: to forty nine thousand, which did at that point you
- 19:00Speaker 1: see the curvature of the earth. I cannot argue this.
- 19:05Speaker 1: You up there in heaven on my if you forty
- 19:07Speaker 1: nine thousand feet and a G five, you can see
- 19:10Speaker 1: the curvature of the Earth ahead. Wow, the planet, so
- 19:14Speaker 1: you can see that the world is wound. Wow. No,
- 19:19Speaker 1: and that's a fact. Is I can't argue with you
- 19:22Speaker 1: because I have new idea abot three thousand altitude. Yeah,
- 19:28Speaker 1: will need anything. What do you think about these people
- 19:31Speaker 1: speaking of that thing? You're talking about the world and
- 19:33Speaker 1: earth and planet? What what do you think about these
- 19:35Speaker 1: people that are now saying that Earth is flat? They're
- 19:38Speaker 1: coming out saying that. Oh they say that they ain't
- 19:40Speaker 1: never been up for nine thousand. I see all they've
- 19:44Speaker 1: been on it, delta. Don't do for nine thousand. You
- 19:50Speaker 1: got to get on something else here. And I'm talking
- 19:52Speaker 1: about most could be talking about the world is flat?
- 19:55Speaker 1: Just shear ignorant. Yeah, if the world is flat, how
- 20:00Speaker 1: come China over that? It ain't make it dough. You
- 20:04Speaker 1: got to be able to see China if it was flat,
- 20:06Speaker 1: I like thinking, or you can drive over there to it. Yeah, right,
- 20:12Speaker 1: what do you see? If the world was flat, you
- 20:14Speaker 1: wouldn't have to worry about it wouldn't have to be
- 20:16Speaker 1: no times over him because it's gonna get half the
- 20:19Speaker 1: world would be light. At the same time, you dropping knowledge.
- 20:24Speaker 1: I think he the card is tilted in his own
- 20:26Speaker 1: sphere and it rotates. You'll never get that. Cord of
- 20:29Speaker 1: the world is always different from those three four. But
- 20:32Speaker 1: I do like daylight savings time though whatever, well, they're
- 20:37Speaker 1: not gonna do that anymore. They're gonna cut that out
- 20:39Speaker 1: because farmer ain't whether it used to be in the
- 20:40Speaker 1: United States and men, but they don't do daylight saving
- 20:42Speaker 1: the way else put over hill. Let's review. So you
- 20:46Speaker 1: knew about bridges, everything about earthquake, yeah, times, yeah, I
- 20:53Speaker 1: just get with anybody, but real quick, anything come ahead.
- 20:56Speaker 1: Global warming, global warming, it's happening. I don't give a
- 21:01Speaker 1: damn what true. It's happening, and it ain't got nothing
- 21:05Speaker 1: to do with the cold weather like his stupid ass steak,
- 21:08Speaker 1: nothing at all. Global Warming is real. It's melting the
- 21:12Speaker 1: glaciers at an uncommonly rapid pace, thus producing more weather.
- 21:16Speaker 1: Change is globally because the moisture is not a conversation,
- 21:20Speaker 1: is forming in a cloud formation and giving us a
- 21:22Speaker 1: radic weather in places that we wouldn't normally have it.
- 21:25Speaker 1: Thus global warming is real. And the glaciers are decreasing
- 21:29Speaker 1: at point seven inches pern seven inches every six months.
- 21:36Speaker 1: You've been Yeah, he's watch I watched National Geo did
- 21:45Speaker 1: and I'm not a weather man. Coming up next more
- 21:49Speaker 1: fun with the nephew, run that brank back right after
- 21:52Speaker 1: this you're listening to show coming up at the top
- 21:57Speaker 1: of the hour, and entertainment news was Nipsey Hustle intersection
- 22:02Speaker 1: renamed has been renamed and today is Nipsey Hustle Celebration
- 22:06Speaker 1: of Life Memorial service. Also another entertainment news, Michael Jackson
- 22:11Speaker 1: is the tie turning. But right now the nephew is
- 22:15Speaker 1: here to run that prank back. What you got now?
- 22:18Speaker 1: Me Jesus, he was in for you yesterday. Yes, me
- 22:28Speaker 1: and my Jesus. That's what it is. Me and my Jesus.
- 22:32Speaker 1: Go ahead, let me hear you see it. Me and
- 22:35Speaker 1: my Jesus. Me and my Jesus run a cat. Hello. Hello,
- 22:43Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach his sister. How you doing. I'm
- 22:47Speaker 1: giving you a call on behalf of Baptist Church. You
- 22:51Speaker 1: are a member there? Am I right? Yes? I am? Okay,
- 22:55Speaker 1: listen um, I'm calling you. They some of the members
- 22:59Speaker 1: have gotten together, had a meeting and wanted me to
- 23:02Speaker 1: give you a call. It seems that a lot of
- 23:07Speaker 1: them are complaining about Sunday services that go on and
- 23:11Speaker 1: wanted for me to give you a call on their
- 23:14Speaker 1: behalf so that we can see if we can address
- 23:16Speaker 1: the problem and talk to you diligently as possible and
- 23:19Speaker 1: try to get the problem rectified. What's going on, Well,
- 23:24Speaker 1: it seems like that a lot of members are complaining.
- 23:29Speaker 1: I'm sorry, and what is your name again? My name
- 23:32Speaker 1: is Man. I'm not actually a member of the church.
- 23:35Speaker 1: I've just been the one that they've been asked to
- 23:37Speaker 1: give you a call and try to talk on the
- 23:39Speaker 1: members behalf, so maybe we can get this problem rectify
- 23:43Speaker 1: that you that they have as far as you are concerned, Now, okay,
- 23:47Speaker 1: go ahead, I'm just trying to see what this is
- 23:48Speaker 1: in regards to go ahead. Well, it seems like the
- 23:51Speaker 1: members of the church are complaining about that you're doing
- 23:55Speaker 1: too much shouting at church on Sunday, and it seems
- 23:59Speaker 1: to be going on every Sunday. You're running up and
- 24:01Speaker 1: down the aisle and you're shouting all over the place,
- 24:04Speaker 1: and it's me. I've been singled out about my shouting.
- 24:09Speaker 1: Is that what you're saying, Well, ever, Dinny is distracting man,
- 24:11Speaker 1: You're distracting everyone from getting the word and listening to
- 24:14Speaker 1: the word and being involved in the service. And that's
- 24:17Speaker 1: the purpose of the calls, to see if we can
- 24:19Speaker 1: get you to tone it down some. Okay, So the
- 24:22Speaker 1: whole church is complaining about me shouting the way people
- 24:25Speaker 1: run up and down them off every Sunday and almost
- 24:28Speaker 1: playing cart wheels and flips, and they're singling me I
- 24:31Speaker 1: complained about me. Well, ma'am, I don't know how it
- 24:34Speaker 1: is that you can see everybody else doing cart wheels
- 24:37Speaker 1: when you're the ones that they say is the one
- 24:39Speaker 1: that's doing them. You don't how am I being singled out? Man?
- 24:42Speaker 1: All I'm saying is that they're saying that you're doing
- 24:45Speaker 1: too much shouting and too much running at this church.
- 24:47Speaker 1: Now I'm just the message. Okay. Well, they can't tell
- 24:50Speaker 1: me how to shout. They don't. They can't tell me
- 24:52Speaker 1: what's going on in my life, what's gonna keep me
- 24:54Speaker 1: from praising God? And they I mean, they could just
- 24:57Speaker 1: they could go somewhere else with that, but they're not
- 24:59Speaker 1: gonna tell me that I can't praise my God. They
- 25:02Speaker 1: don't know how good God it's been to me. And
- 25:04Speaker 1: you know what, I understand that I agree with you wholeheartedly,
- 25:07Speaker 1: but it's becoming a distraction. I mean, they was at
- 25:11Speaker 1: the point last night talking about should we put some
- 25:13Speaker 1: seatbelts on the pews so so you can stay down
- 25:16Speaker 1: we stay, We'll put some seat but high. They gonna
- 25:18Speaker 1: tell people they can't shout in church and praise God.
- 25:21Speaker 1: What don't we come to church? Far? Well? You do
- 25:23Speaker 1: come to We need to be trying to plase God
- 25:25Speaker 1: and get they all shout on and stop looking at
- 25:27Speaker 1: me and whatever about what I'm doing. Were gonna need
- 25:29Speaker 1: you to quit running up and down these aisles and
- 25:31Speaker 1: doing what you go. I'm sorry, you know, I'm trying
- 25:34Speaker 1: to stay calm. I'm trying my best. Who Jesus, chief
- 25:39Speaker 1: sir that that's not happy? You can't tell me I
- 25:42Speaker 1: gotta stop shouting. Okay, man, But let me ask you.
- 25:44Speaker 1: Are you running now? Aren't you just standing still talking?
- 25:47Speaker 1: Because I don't have to run right now? Okay, what
- 25:50Speaker 1: I'm trying to get you to do? You know? I like,
- 25:52Speaker 1: if don't want to run up and down this street
- 25:53Speaker 1: right now, I can run up and down the street
- 25:55Speaker 1: and place God. But they're not gonna tell me to
- 25:56Speaker 1: stop shouting at church. Can we get you to be
- 25:59Speaker 1: a little bit more served as what we see. Man,
- 26:01Speaker 1: let me let me go ahead and go further on
- 26:03Speaker 1: what they do. The spirit moves. Okay, well, let me
- 26:07Speaker 1: move and tell you what they've told me. Now. If
- 26:11Speaker 1: we can't get to the point where you can, you know,
- 26:13Speaker 1: tone it down, then we may have to ask you
- 26:16Speaker 1: to leave them. Ask me, Jesus, Jesus, you let them
- 26:23Speaker 1: ask me. Why don't they want me to leave the church.
- 26:26Speaker 1: I've been at that church for fifteen years. I'm not
- 26:29Speaker 1: leaving the church. I'm gonna run up and down. I'm
- 26:31Speaker 1: not gonna run on the church where I feel like
- 26:36Speaker 1: it not not now, listen, that's all I'm okay, go ahead,
- 26:40Speaker 1: I'm gonna be there. I'm going to I am going
- 26:43Speaker 1: to be there on Sunday. Man, and I have been
- 26:46Speaker 1: the person that's been appointed to make sure that you're
- 26:48Speaker 1: not running up and down these house and shotting like this.
- 26:51Speaker 1: You got to keep yourself reserved so people can hear
- 26:53Speaker 1: the word of God. You are standing in people's word.
- 26:56Speaker 1: That's what you're doing. You're in the whale. If they
- 26:58Speaker 1: come trying to send me down, I'm gonna get him
- 27:00Speaker 1: a word and it ain't gonna be your God. So
- 27:02Speaker 1: I left him. Put that hands up on me here
- 27:04Speaker 1: now listen, I'm telling you that. Now you could say
- 27:07Speaker 1: I haven't been in that church fifteen years. If I
- 27:09Speaker 1: want to run, dad shot, jump quitting, whatever I want
- 27:12Speaker 1: to do, I'm gonna doing it. Ain't nobody gonna stop me.
- 27:15Speaker 1: You're gonna have to stop this. This past Sunday was
- 27:18Speaker 1: your last Sunday doing it, and you're not gonna do
- 27:20Speaker 1: with this Sunday. Like I said, just why let and
- 27:23Speaker 1: I'm telling you could tell the unsues, the deacon boyd,
- 27:26Speaker 1: the deacon as, the minister's wives or who all asked
- 27:28Speaker 1: you want to tell let him put their hands on
- 27:30Speaker 1: me and see if I don't swing on them, I'm
- 27:32Speaker 1: gonna come run about the spirit and swing on it.
- 27:34Speaker 1: I'm telling you that now because he said, you really
- 27:36Speaker 1: push me there on and tried. I tried. Let me
- 27:39Speaker 1: ask you this here where you're trying to show that
- 27:42Speaker 1: I'm saved and never but you make it you if
- 27:44Speaker 1: you're making me revert back to my own ways, and
- 27:46Speaker 1: you you really for me off, that's what you're gonna do. Okay, Well,
- 27:49Speaker 1: let me ask you this, Why is the god at
- 27:52Speaker 1: right now, and you where's the one that say it
- 27:55Speaker 1: was the God was telling me when I was trying
- 27:57Speaker 1: to be called with you at first, to tell you
- 27:58Speaker 1: on me calling me with this fun old listen this,
- 28:00Speaker 1: But now you have made the other side of me
- 28:02Speaker 1: rose up. Well, you wouldn't raised it up in you
- 28:04Speaker 1: wouldn't raise it up in me too. Guess what come? Signing?
- 28:07Speaker 1: You're gonna set you in that pew and you ain't
- 28:09Speaker 1: gonna you know when you call yourself a man of
- 28:14Speaker 1: the pew. Okay, all right, I'm right. We're gonna see
- 28:17Speaker 1: how well I'm not sitting at pep matter fact, first
- 28:20Speaker 1: day side of the morning, I'm going the past. Oh yeah,
- 28:22Speaker 1: well deacon you are whatever your name is, I'm gonna
- 28:26Speaker 1: telling about it God, matter how long were you you
- 28:29Speaker 1: need to lose, I would be talking to Pastor myself
- 28:31Speaker 1: and letting him know about this situation. You don't talk,
- 28:34Speaker 1: You don't. We can call pass right around your pass right.
- 28:38Speaker 1: You don't talk to pastor. I talk to pastor. I'm
- 28:41Speaker 1: the past I don't man at this church fifteen years.
- 28:43Speaker 1: Like I said, No, I'm telling you old Jesus, j
- 28:46Speaker 1: old you feel old Jesus not not not not see
- 28:50Speaker 1: just like this here, you see how you calling on
- 28:52Speaker 1: him and you're standing yeah, because I'm calling on him
- 28:54Speaker 1: to kid me from just really going to cuss you
- 28:56Speaker 1: out right there because you didn't really hit my nerve.
- 28:59Speaker 1: I got one mother, I ain't gonna need to say
- 29:00Speaker 1: to you, lady, you got a fan real quick, because
- 29:03Speaker 1: you're gonna talk to this operator that's his nephew timing
- 29:06Speaker 1: from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You just got a
- 29:09Speaker 1: prank by your girl. You're not you know, I'm oh,
- 29:17Speaker 1: I'm I'm gonna kick but cursing on the parkeet. Okay, Jesus,
- 29:26Speaker 1: I got one more thing, baby, let me ask you something.
- 29:28Speaker 1: What is the baddest I'm talking about the baddest radio
- 29:31Speaker 1: show in the land, Harvey Morning, Me and my Jesus.
- 29:37Speaker 1: I don't run hitter. Hey man, you can't tell that
- 29:40Speaker 1: woman how to preak. Go. Come on, man, get a
- 29:43Speaker 1: prank of song. I don't hear enough playing Harvey. Where's
- 29:47Speaker 1: Carl where shirt? I'm not getting enough right now? Get
- 29:52Speaker 1: a prank of song. You're the greatest ever live. Thanks
- 30:00Speaker 1: sometimes tell me your greatest trip is your greatest week.
- 30:03Speaker 1: That's true, all right, listen coming up at the top
- 30:07Speaker 1: of the hour. Entertainment news Thank you Nephew will come
- 30:10Speaker 1: back right after this you're listening to show The intersection
- 30:17Speaker 1: where Nipsey Hustle opened his marathon clothing store will be
- 30:21Speaker 1: named after him. South Los Angeles City Councilman Marquis Harris
- 30:26Speaker 1: Dawson announced that the intersection of Crenshaw Boulevard and West
- 30:30Speaker 1: Slawson Avenue will be renamed Urmius Nipsey Hustle Ashadam Square.
- 30:38Speaker 1: Mister Harris Dawson said Ermias Ashdam, known as Nipsey Hustle,
- 30:42Speaker 1: was an icon and West Coast hero. Nipsey's genuine nature
- 30:47Speaker 1: allowed him to be a light to everyone he interacted with,
- 30:50Speaker 1: from family, friends, fans, and his larger community. Nipsey will
- 30:55Speaker 1: always be remembered for delivering a pure, authentic Los Angeles sound,
- 30:59Speaker 1: his numerous philanthropic philanthropic efforts, his innovative, community focused business mindset,
- 31:06Speaker 1: and his humble heart. Wow. Nice, that's big. That's big. Yeah,
- 31:11Speaker 1: And that happened very quickly, huh, you know, And I'm
- 31:14Speaker 1: just gonna really have to be really honest. I did
- 31:17Speaker 1: not really really get the gravity and understand the magnitude
- 31:22Speaker 1: of what this young man had accomplished and done. I
- 31:25Speaker 1: just didn't because I didn't I didn't know him personally.
- 31:28Speaker 1: I just people didn't know Steve. I didn't know it
- 31:33Speaker 1: came out, you know, what he was doing in the community.
- 31:36Speaker 1: That's why it was so heartfelt. After, you know, people
- 31:39Speaker 1: started talking about what he was doing and people started
- 31:42Speaker 1: realizing what this man contributed to the community, then that's
- 31:45Speaker 1: when everyone was like, wow, well let me take another
- 31:47Speaker 1: look and see who he really was. He was really
- 31:52Speaker 1: people just did not know. They didn't know. No, he's
- 31:55Speaker 1: powerful man, and I didn't. I was just listening to
- 31:59Speaker 1: when I did Huglish. I was listening to his daughter
- 32:02Speaker 1: do this thing that she calls millennial Moment, and she
- 32:06Speaker 1: was talking about his music and what he was saying.
- 32:10Speaker 1: And I just didn't know, you know. And I was
- 32:13Speaker 1: listening to my son talk about it and his best
- 32:17Speaker 1: Fridge and a twenty seven, twenty six years old, and
- 32:20Speaker 1: I didn't know this cat was that man. I just
- 32:23Speaker 1: didn't know the principle of some but walking up to
- 32:28Speaker 1: a man and taking his life away and not even
- 32:32Speaker 1: understanding what you've done, what you've done, and over what
- 32:41Speaker 1: the oval what man, Do you understand the magnitude that
- 32:45Speaker 1: you've done and over what? Man? And that's why you
- 32:49Speaker 1: know not to change it. But that's why this Minty
- 32:51Speaker 1: program is so important, because we've got to get young men,
- 32:56Speaker 1: got to get them mentally tracking right so that they
- 32:59Speaker 1: could start thinking of life beyond todate and start realizing
- 33:04Speaker 1: that mistakes you mistakes and and things that you today
- 33:08Speaker 1: can have a profound effect on life for yourself and
- 33:11Speaker 1: as well as others. You can't just live in the
- 33:14Speaker 1: moment all the time. There's a future to this thing
- 33:17Speaker 1: that he's young man to kill his brother, whoa man
- 33:21Speaker 1: had children and many but you know, you know what?
- 33:30Speaker 1: And and besides that, did he ever think for one
- 33:36Speaker 1: minute what was going to happen to himself after he
- 33:41Speaker 1: did this? You could not have thought this out at all,
- 33:46Speaker 1: because if you would have known, if you would have
- 33:49Speaker 1: thought this out for just a brief moment, that's why, man,
- 33:53Speaker 1: we gotta quit loving drugs so much. Man, if it's
- 33:56Speaker 1: gonna have you out here thinking where you out of
- 33:58Speaker 1: you incapacitated, and you out yourself. And I'm not saying
- 34:01Speaker 1: he was that, but I'm just saying there's a lot
- 34:03Speaker 1: of people out here making decisions under the influence. We
- 34:06Speaker 1: gotta start thinking, man, yeah, and and and now your life. Okay,
- 34:11Speaker 1: you didn't took kids, but he can't ever come back.
- 34:16Speaker 1: But now you you got a mother and a family,
- 34:20Speaker 1: so where and they're going a while. And now what
- 34:23Speaker 1: you've done is now they're suffering causing you. All Right, Um, guys,
- 34:28Speaker 1: it's time to move on. Now we're gonna go to headline.
- 34:30Speaker 1: Steve miss and Tripp Thanks guys. Good morning everybody. This
- 34:34Speaker 1: is a trip of the news. Lawmakers from the House
- 34:37Speaker 1: of Representatives of demanding Donald Trump's tax returns from the
- 34:40Speaker 1: i R S. The deadline was yesterday, but still no
- 34:42Speaker 1: tax documents showed up. Meanwhile, the President continues making the
- 34:45Speaker 1: same argument about them, which is I'm still being audited,
- 34:48Speaker 1: and who cares anyway. I would love to give them,
- 34:52Speaker 1: but I'm not gonna do it while I'm under other
- 34:54Speaker 1: It's very simple. Remember I got elected last time the
- 34:58Speaker 1: same exact issue with the same intensity, which wasn't very
- 35:01Speaker 1: much because frankly, the people don't care. Meanwhile, Treasury Secretary
- 35:05Speaker 1: Stephen Manushan tells lawmakers his department will follow the law
- 35:08Speaker 1: and continue to review the House requests for the documents.
- 35:12Speaker 1: Democrats lashing out of comments made by Senate Budget to
- 35:14Speaker 1: the Senate Budget Committee yesterday by Attorney General William Barr
- 35:18Speaker 1: now Bartol legislators that he thinks there was some spying
- 35:21Speaker 1: on Donald Trump's presidential campaign and suggested there might have
- 35:24Speaker 1: been something funny about the original reason for Robert Muller's
- 35:27Speaker 1: Russian meddling probe. However, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi thinks there
- 35:31Speaker 1: may be something a little funny about the way the
- 35:33Speaker 1: Attorney General has been acting. I do believe Special Counsel
- 35:36Speaker 1: Mueller is a person to be respected. Remains to be
- 35:39Speaker 1: seen what his report is. When we see it, we
- 35:42Speaker 1: can make a judgment. I'm very concerned about the statements
- 35:46Speaker 1: made by Attorney General Barr. I think that they undermine
- 35:50Speaker 1: our constitution. They undermine the role of the attorney general.
- 35:54Speaker 1: He is not the Attorney General of Donald Trump. He
- 35:57Speaker 1: is the Attorney General of the United States. No surprise,
- 36:00Speaker 1: looks like Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyah, who has been reelected.
- 36:03Speaker 1: His main challenger conceded defeat. His net Yahoo's right wing
- 36:06Speaker 1: allies have won a majority of the Knesset Meanwhile, Net
- 36:09Speaker 1: and Yah, who still faces corruption allegations and possible criminal
- 36:12Speaker 1: charges within months. Donald Trump, by the way, wildly popular
- 36:15Speaker 1: in Israel. He called Net and Yahoo to congratulate him
- 36:18Speaker 1: on the win. Security expected to be tied. For today's
- 36:20Speaker 1: memorial service a rapper, businessman and community activist Nipsey Hustle
- 36:23Speaker 1: a public service being held in Los Angeles as a
- 36:25Speaker 1: Staples Center today after a funeral procession through Hustle's Crenshaw neighborhood.
- 36:30Speaker 1: The Staples Center holds twenty one thousand people and after
- 36:32Speaker 1: complimentary tickets too, the memorial went online Tuesday morning. Fans
- 36:36Speaker 1: snapped them up in under forty minutes. Sad news. Johnson Publishing,
- 36:40Speaker 1: owner of the legendary Ebendy and Jet magazines, has filed
- 36:43Speaker 1: for bankruptcy and Ebdey and Jet black Americans could see
- 36:46Speaker 1: their community reported on as it really was instead of
- 36:49Speaker 1: how it was seen through the eyes of the mainstream
- 36:51Speaker 1: US media. Johnson Publishing file for Chapter seven bankruptcy protection
- 36:55Speaker 1: in Chicago yesterday. Officials say the black owned publishing company
- 36:58Speaker 1: was caught. They say a quote tidal wave of marketplace changes.
- 37:02Speaker 1: South Dakota expected to get thirty and there will be
- 37:09Speaker 1: an abundance of nam. The memorial service will be heavily
- 37:13Speaker 1: guarded from multiple agencies and organizations, all with the intention
- 37:18Speaker 1: of keeping the memorial peaceful and drama free. Please, people, please,
- 37:23Speaker 1: let's keep this peaceful and drama free today. Security will
- 37:27Speaker 1: include members of the LAPD, members of the Nation of Islam,
- 37:30Speaker 1: as well as Staple Center personnel. People will also have
- 37:34Speaker 1: to go through metal detectors and undergo bag checks at
- 37:37Speaker 1: the entrance. So what is clear. They're taking the security
- 37:40Speaker 1: pretty seriously. Nipsey Hustle's memorial service is today at ten
- 37:44Speaker 1: am at the Staples Center and Steve Nipsey Hustle's mom,
- 37:49Speaker 1: her name is Miss Angelique Smith, shared some encouraging words
- 37:53Speaker 1: of comfort she wanted to comfort the fans and his
- 37:56Speaker 1: friends on an online video. Here's some of it. Take
- 37:59Speaker 1: a listen. When you live your life and you have
- 38:02Speaker 1: God on your side, when God dwells inside of you,
- 38:07Speaker 1: there's no fear. Everything is in perfect order. Everything is
- 38:11Speaker 1: in the divine, perfect order of our Creator. I have
- 38:15Speaker 1: perfect peace and I have strength, and I want to
- 38:19Speaker 1: lift you up. Please do not stay down or not
- 38:25Speaker 1: stay not mourn, because Nipsey is great and now he
- 38:32Speaker 1: is even greater because he has no bounds and no limits.
- 38:37Speaker 1: His energy is everywhere. Wow, that's probably the most powerful
- 38:44Speaker 1: thing I've heard a mother say who's lost his son.
- 38:48Speaker 1: And out here in La it's a bunch of mothers
- 38:50Speaker 1: to lost some sons, and they said some profound things.
- 38:54Speaker 1: I think that women are so strong to lose a
- 38:59Speaker 1: child to violence, but it's some mother's been saying things
- 39:04Speaker 1: like this for a long time. But you know, it's
- 39:06Speaker 1: really crazy because I've been reading this book not a book,
- 39:11Speaker 1: but it's a daily thing called In My Presence and
- 39:15Speaker 1: talks about is when you have a real understanding of
- 39:19Speaker 1: your relationship with God and how it works that in
- 39:22Speaker 1: the midst of controversy and termol you can still find
- 39:26Speaker 1: perfect peace. And that's what it was talking about, and
- 39:29Speaker 1: that's what this woman has. And she's found perfect peace
- 39:33Speaker 1: in the middle of a controversy and a thunderstorm, and
- 39:38Speaker 1: that's an amazing thing. And that's what I'm trying to
- 39:40Speaker 1: learn myself more, to just be in his constant will
- 39:44Speaker 1: and understand that everything that happens happens in divine order
- 39:48Speaker 1: and in a perfect place. And if you in his arms,
- 39:51Speaker 1: you have nothing to worry about. Yeah, and that's basically
- 39:54Speaker 1: what she was saying. The family held their private viewing
- 39:57Speaker 1: and their private memorial yesterday. Um, okay, we're gonna switch
- 40:03Speaker 1: gears here. Now, coming up at thirty four after the hour,
- 40:06Speaker 1: trending sports story, Magic Johnson stepped down as the Lakers president.
- 40:14Speaker 1: Plus how will the playoffs look without Lebron? Uh? Okay,
- 40:20Speaker 1: we'll be back right after this. You're listening to show,
- 40:26Speaker 1: all right, guys. In today's trending sports news, Magic Johnson
- 40:29Speaker 1: abruptly resigned as a president of the Lakers after the
- 40:33Speaker 1: team's first disappointing season with Lebron James Now. Magic said
- 40:38Speaker 1: he wasn't having fun being a team exec and wanted
- 40:42Speaker 1: to go back to being a free bird who can't
- 40:44Speaker 1: be handcuffed and be able to tweet about NBA players
- 40:47Speaker 1: and topics without being fined by the league. Lebron and
- 40:52Speaker 1: some of his Laker teammates decided to party Tuesday night
- 40:55Speaker 1: after their season finale loss against Portland. Now, Steve, there
- 41:00Speaker 1: are Lebron trade rumors. Um, how do you think the
- 41:04Speaker 1: NBA playoffs will look without Lebron? I mean, you know,
- 41:07Speaker 1: I think they're gonna look fine. I think they're gonna
- 41:11Speaker 1: look fine, You got enough players out there. Basketball is
- 41:15Speaker 1: not one player. One player does not determine this league.
- 41:20Speaker 1: You look over there and Philly and you got Joel Mbebe,
- 41:24Speaker 1: you got that Simmons boy, you got Butler over there,
- 41:29Speaker 1: you got that other dude that's ball. And then you
- 41:32Speaker 1: go up to Boston and then you got Kyrie, and
- 41:36Speaker 1: you got Tatum and you got them boys, you know,
- 41:41Speaker 1: And then and then you go up there to Milwaukee,
- 41:44Speaker 1: and Lord have mercy, come that boy, that boy right there,
- 41:47Speaker 1: and they bawling. They got players. That little boy, that
- 41:50Speaker 1: little dude that came out with the Hawks that I
- 41:52Speaker 1: thought wasn't gonna be Trey Young turned up the flames
- 41:56Speaker 1: on their ass. You know you're saying you won't miss Lebron,
- 41:59Speaker 1: are you? Well he left Cleveland, so I mean he
- 42:03Speaker 1: left Cleveland. I told y'all when he left Cleveland, I said,
- 42:08Speaker 1: the worst place he could go is to Los Angeles Lakers.
- 42:11Speaker 1: The worst place he could go because now at the Lakers,
- 42:15Speaker 1: he'll never see the finals again. No, not with Houston
- 42:21Speaker 1: over there and not with gold Ish sha n No,
- 42:27Speaker 1: Lebron will not see the finals again at this stage
- 42:31Speaker 1: in his game, and and and with and with the
- 42:34Speaker 1: inability of the Lakers because they hated the Lakers, man everybody,
- 42:39Speaker 1: and they're not sending no talent over there to the Lakers.
- 42:43Speaker 1: They're not let me ask you questions. Because Magic Johnson,
- 42:47Speaker 1: you know, this is interesting. He was a big part
- 42:49Speaker 1: of getting Lebron us you know this past summer. So well,
- 42:54Speaker 1: now he quit and then he quit, you quit, resolve
- 43:00Speaker 1: mean you feel you better know Lebron probably got a
- 43:03Speaker 1: little something to say about that. He wasn't involved in
- 43:06Speaker 1: the firing, but I'm saying, you gotta be. He gotta
- 43:08Speaker 1: be a little put put back. Yeah, he quit, Tom,
- 43:14Speaker 1: What do you think of the tell the truth? Magic Quick?
- 43:18Speaker 1: You know, there's always a thin line to me with
- 43:20Speaker 1: with resigning and quitting. I never know which one he
- 43:24Speaker 1: really is. Yeah, both of them stated, yeah, they did exact.
- 43:29Speaker 1: Say right, you resigned to quit as the same then
- 43:34Speaker 1: you get fired. To me, it's all the same. I
- 43:37Speaker 1: think I designed this corporate quick good right, and Magic quit.
- 43:45Speaker 1: He wanted to control his own destiny. Did he quit
- 43:48Speaker 1: before you know, before the firing came. He didn't even
- 43:52Speaker 1: tell Jenny Buss. Yeah, I don't think Magic was gonna
- 43:56Speaker 1: get fired at all. I think what happened and was
- 44:01Speaker 1: I think he saw himself in a bad spot and
- 44:06Speaker 1: there's no way out of it he sees. I don't
- 44:09Speaker 1: think he saw a way, just like I didn't see
- 44:12Speaker 1: no way of them landing a top free agent. They
- 44:16Speaker 1: don't have enough to get the boy out of Dupe
- 44:20Speaker 1: to come with Magic next year unless they get the
- 44:23Speaker 1: lottery pick from somebody, And who in the hell is
- 44:26Speaker 1: gonna trade away the rights to design because he's a
- 44:30Speaker 1: franchise potential. He's a potential that Lebron had when he came. So,
- 44:36Speaker 1: you know, I just think that he got out. He
- 44:40Speaker 1: saw it wasn't gonna be nothing Magic is gonna be.
- 44:43Speaker 1: I mean, Lebron's gonna be hurt because you can't. I'm
- 44:47Speaker 1: a Magic fan, but I think just talking trash about
- 44:52Speaker 1: sports and business and taking outside to that's my boy.
- 44:58Speaker 1: I think he got out because there's no way to
- 45:02Speaker 1: fix this problem in Los Angeles. You pissed off all
- 45:06Speaker 1: the young talent when you was gonna trade all eight
- 45:08Speaker 1: of them once you made that list. Now, oh God,
- 45:13Speaker 1: all right? Up next the nephews in the building with
- 45:16Speaker 1: today's prank phone call right after this. You're listening to
- 45:20Speaker 1: show coming up at the top of the hour, right
- 45:24Speaker 1: about four minutes after. It's my strawberry letter for today.
- 45:26Speaker 1: The subject my husband and I were being filmed. Yeah
- 45:32Speaker 1: right now, Yeah you heard it, but right now, but
- 45:37Speaker 1: right now, the nephew is in the building today. Anybody
- 45:41Speaker 1: being I don't want to see you right you don't
- 45:44Speaker 1: know who these people in these ain't paunched a Yeah,
- 45:47Speaker 1: this is wait to hear this letter to next neighbors. Yeah,
- 45:51Speaker 1: they ain't been to be in shape. Right now, nephew
- 45:54Speaker 1: is here with today's prank phone call. What you got now?
- 45:58Speaker 1: Go big or go home? You heard that before? Right?
- 46:04Speaker 1: How many times are you here? Go big a lot? Ah,
- 46:09Speaker 1: go home? I've heard, I've heard too big. I'm going home.
- 46:16Speaker 1: Have you now big? Oh? Go home? Running cat? Hello, Hello,
- 46:27Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach Darnell. Darnell. Let see for this, Darnell.
- 46:31Speaker 1: How you doing? This? Is Scott soon with Bigger, bigger
- 46:34Speaker 1: and better, where we make you larger in charge? How
- 46:37Speaker 1: you doing today? Scott? Who I'm Scott? So I'm with
- 46:42Speaker 1: Bigger and better, where we make you larger in charge.
- 46:45Speaker 1: I'm good, Scott. Look what's up. We were actually uh
- 46:49Speaker 1: giving a phone call by your wife your wife? Is
- 46:53Speaker 1: that correct? Yeah? Okay, well, um, you know your wife's um,
- 46:57Speaker 1: your wife's birthday is coming up pretty soon? That right? Yeah? Yeah,
- 47:01Speaker 1: so a couple of weeks. Yeah, it's coming up. Okay.
- 47:04Speaker 1: Have you have you decided on getting or anything or
- 47:07Speaker 1: have you purchased anything yet? No? No, I got a
- 47:10Speaker 1: couple of days in mind. Um. Well, actually, uh, we
- 47:14Speaker 1: got a call from from I think we've got something
- 47:18Speaker 1: that's gonna that's gonna really help you guys. And and
- 47:22Speaker 1: something I think that she wanted to recommend that something
- 47:25Speaker 1: that you probably wouldn't wouldn't think about getting. Oh, I'm
- 47:29Speaker 1: only is okay and racking my brain. So I'm on
- 47:32Speaker 1: is actually gave us a call. She's actually had an idea,
- 47:37Speaker 1: you know, what she would really really like for her
- 47:39Speaker 1: birthday present. So what's her name? You're company? Bigger and Better? Um,
- 47:44Speaker 1: like I said, she called you. I'm sorry, she called
- 47:47Speaker 1: you to give me idea on what I should get
- 47:51Speaker 1: for her birthday. Uh yeah, well this is this is
- 47:53Speaker 1: something that's a little a little different than something that
- 47:57Speaker 1: you probably would never in a million years think of.
- 47:59Speaker 1: But here a Bigger and Better, where we make you
- 48:01Speaker 1: large and in charge. We actually do some things that
- 48:05Speaker 1: we definitely know you wouldn't have thought of. So I
- 48:08Speaker 1: definitely understand her giving un what's your name against Sam Scott,
- 48:13Speaker 1: Scott Scott get to the point what you're selling actually
- 48:18Speaker 1: let us know that there's some things that are really
- 48:21Speaker 1: really lacking between you guys, and she would very much
- 48:25Speaker 1: like for her birthday where you can be a lot
- 48:27Speaker 1: more well endowed. So you know that's what we do
- 48:31Speaker 1: here at Bigger and Beat. We actually hello, what I
- 48:35Speaker 1: could be more? What more well dwed? Sir? So I
- 48:38Speaker 1: think really what's going on is Beyonca's really not satisfied
- 48:41Speaker 1: right now. She called you to tell you that I'm
- 48:44Speaker 1: not when you meet willing doubt my junk. So you're
- 48:47Speaker 1: you're you're you're you're you're inadequate. You know what I mean?
- 48:50Speaker 1: You're you're uh. I guess maybe maybe very impotent. I'm
- 48:54Speaker 1: not sure, but are you kidding me? What's your name
- 48:58Speaker 1: of this company? Bigger and Better where we make you
- 49:02Speaker 1: larger in charge? And right now you know you're not
- 49:05Speaker 1: You're not larger in charge, and we want to get
- 49:07Speaker 1: you to that way. You're able to come in for
- 49:08Speaker 1: a consultation, your consultation. I'll tell you what. I'm gonna

- 49:14Speaker 1: gonna call her. And we're trying to do because we
- 49:18Speaker 1: just don't do you not? Do you not think you
- 49:21Speaker 1: need to come in. I don't even think iven be
- 49:23Speaker 1: talking to you, mister Scott, about whatever it's going on
- 49:27Speaker 1: in my bed room. I'm king so I'm not even
- 49:30Speaker 1: I'm not even I don't even know what going on.
- 49:32Speaker 1: Whatever you can say whatever service. The first for me

- 55:01Speaker 1: hold on tight, we got it for you. Here it
- 55:03Speaker 1: is the Strawberry Letter subject My husband and I were
- 55:06Speaker 1: being filmed. Here's Stephen Shirley. My husband and I are
- 55:11Speaker 1: in our early thirties and my best friend asked us
- 55:14Speaker 1: to house sit for her and her husband while they
- 55:17Speaker 1: were out of the country for a month. They have
- 55:19Speaker 1: a very nice beach house, so we jumped at the opportunity.
- 55:24Speaker 1: Everything was going great and we loved it there right
- 55:27Speaker 1: until the third week, when a mutual friend of ours
- 55:31Speaker 1: called me with some crazy news. The mutual friend said
- 55:35Speaker 1: she had talked to the owners of the house and
- 55:37Speaker 1: found out that there were hidden cameras all over the house.
- 55:41Speaker 1: I knew that the homeowners are in some sort of
- 55:44Speaker 1: an open marriage, and they often had threesomes and liked
- 55:47Speaker 1: to watch others have sex, but I had no idea
- 55:51Speaker 1: that they would have cameras all around the house that
- 55:53Speaker 1: my husband and I were staying in. I found out
- 55:57Speaker 1: that the homeowners have several videos of my husban and
- 56:00Speaker 1: I having sex all over their house. When I called them,
- 56:04Speaker 1: they admitted it and said it was no big deal.
- 56:08Speaker 1: They said they really loved the videos and there for
- 56:11Speaker 1: their personal use only and they will never share them
- 56:14Speaker 1: with anyone else. I cursed them both out. They said
- 56:19Speaker 1: that if my husband and I had the nerve to
- 56:21Speaker 1: have sex all over their house, then we had no
- 56:24Speaker 1: right to be upset for being filmed. She said, it's
- 56:27Speaker 1: their house, so they have the right to keep the videos.
- 56:30Speaker 1: I asked our mutual friends, and they agree that my
- 56:33Speaker 1: husband and I should not be upset at all. This
- 56:36Speaker 1: has ruined a lot of my friendships. Do you think
- 56:40Speaker 1: the homeowners are wrong or are my husband and I
- 56:42Speaker 1: to blame for this? What should we do? Please advise?
- 56:48Speaker 1: I don't think. I don't think your husband, you and
- 56:50Speaker 1: your husband are wrong at all. I mean, they asked
- 56:53Speaker 1: you to house sit while they were out of town.
- 56:56Speaker 1: This is your best friend. I think the home owners
- 57:00Speaker 1: are absolutely wrong. They should have told you, guys. They
- 57:03Speaker 1: should have told you guys in no uncertain terms, you know,
- 57:07Speaker 1: watch yourselves because we do have camera equipment in the house. Um,
- 57:13Speaker 1: this is spying. This is invading someone's privacy and your
- 57:17Speaker 1: right to privacy. Isn't this illegal? Yeah? This, I think
- 57:21Speaker 1: this is illegal. You may have a court case. You
- 57:23Speaker 1: may be able to soothe them to at least get
- 57:26Speaker 1: your tapes back. Yeah, they should have told you, uh,
- 57:29Speaker 1: you know, especially if they're using the film for their
- 57:33Speaker 1: own sexual gratification. And just because they have open, open
- 57:38Speaker 1: marriage doesn't mean everybody else does. And I think they
- 57:41Speaker 1: tricked you guys. I think, um, I think you have
- 57:45Speaker 1: a case. This is really an invasion of privacy and
- 57:48Speaker 1: you all did it all over their house. Wow, while
- 57:54Speaker 1: slow down next time? How about that? I mean, I
- 57:58Speaker 1: get maybe it's the lure of the b CH house
- 58:00Speaker 1: and all of that. You said you jumped at the opportunity,
- 58:03Speaker 1: but yeah, they're they're wrong, and uh, you know, if
- 58:07Speaker 1: they don't give you the tapes back, you might have
- 58:08Speaker 1: to sue them to get it back. Steve, Well, amazing,
- 58:13Speaker 1: How don't see that? Year? First of all, y'all in
- 58:18Speaker 1: your early thirties, your best friend asked y'all the house
- 58:21Speaker 1: sit for her and her husband. Why they out the
- 58:23Speaker 1: country for a month? Now, beach houses normally ain't in
- 58:29Speaker 1: high crime districts. Not normally, I don't know what state
- 58:34Speaker 1: just is in. But they asked you the house sit
- 58:37Speaker 1: for a month. Why the ask y'all? M why why
- 58:45Speaker 1: they asked? Y'all? Best friend then Kate be their only
- 58:49Speaker 1: best friends based on what I read and left because
- 58:53Speaker 1: I'm sure they're not swan with some more friendly people. Okay,
- 58:59Speaker 1: so I am. I ain't buying it today to day
- 59:01Speaker 1: they're best friend? No, no, no no, no, no, they're best friends?
- 59:04Speaker 1: Is really over that clown they swing? So you jumped
- 59:09Speaker 1: out the opportunity. Everything was going great. We loved it
- 59:13Speaker 1: right until the third week, when a mutual friend of
- 59:17Speaker 1: ilays called me. Now, mutual friend means they friends with
- 59:20Speaker 1: the wild couple too, So now they called you with
- 59:27Speaker 1: some crazy news. This mutual friend said she had talked
- 59:32Speaker 1: to the owners of the house and found out that
- 59:34Speaker 1: they were hidden cameras all over the place now here
- 59:39Speaker 1: where it gets kind of crazy to meet. I knew
- 59:43Speaker 1: that the homeowners are in some sort of an open
- 59:47Speaker 1: marriage right way. Hello, y'all best friends, y'all best friends.
- 59:55Speaker 1: You ain't you ain't think you knew this. I knew,
- 59:58Speaker 1: she said. I knew that the homeowner in some of
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: us to open marriage, and they often often had threesomes
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: and like to watch others have sex. Now you ask
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: somebody the house, and you know all about this right here,
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: you know all about it. But I had no idea
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: they would have cameras all around the house. You just
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: said they like to watch. Well, what you watch that
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: and that don't evolve a camera? I like watching TV.
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: That what's evolved cameras? I like watching Netflix. Guess what's
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: on Netflix? A bunch of damn cameras. She couldn't have
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: met life watch them live? Do it live? If you
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: like watching somebody live. You ain't gonna record Hello, port
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: is big who you know like watching other people have sex?
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: But ain't gonna record it? What that's you're not being
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: a thinking person. But I had no idea they had
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: cameras all around the house that my husband and I
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: were staying there. Well, what what the house? What the house?
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: You think they had the camera's in if it wasn't
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: the one y'all staying there, they ain't got but one.
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: It's down there at the beach. And you know they
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: often have threesomes, and they enjoy sex with threesomes, and
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: they watch each other. Where is the shock at? I
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: found that the homeowners had several videos of my husband
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: and I having sex all over the house. All y'all
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: just down at the beach house, clown, y'all are all
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: out on the poach everywhere, all down there at the
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: foot of the steps, in the sand, y'all all up
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: in here, got saying all in the living room flow,
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: you're on the steps, They got all of it. You
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: in his office on his desk. You just in here, clown,
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: and you're on the kitchen table. You rate the all
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: the cups and dishes on the damn floor. Wow, you
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: didn't open up the refrigerator. Set her ass on the
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: same shelf that the ham is on. Oh, y'all listen here, clown.
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: Well see y'all back down on the washing machine. You
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: don't cut that machine on spin cycle, and y'all just
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: in there, just a hum, and y'allself happy, all right?
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: Hang on, Steve, hang on, none gonna tell you what
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: she said. She called. Well, we'll have part two of
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: your response coming up at twenty three after the hours.
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: Subject of today's Strawberry Letter. My husband and I were
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: being filmed. We'll be back right after this. You're listening,
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: all right, Steve, Come on, let's recap today's Strawberry Letter
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: and get part two of your responses. It's a little
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: couple of the house set a beach house for one
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: of their friends that they know is in some kind
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: of open marriage, and they have threesomes all the time often,
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: and they watch enjoy watching other people have sex. Then
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: a mutual friend called Hunt told Huh that they told
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: them that they got hidden cameras all over their house.
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: Well found out that homeowners had several videos of her
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: husband and her having sex all over the house. They
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: was at the foot of the steps down that way
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: where the stays tested the saying. They started down there
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: and then they went under the porch. They got some
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: camera down there too. They under the Yeah, just listening
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: to waves. Then they came up there and fell all
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: in that bay. Wonder that they just on the couch,
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: all in the float, one leg up on the coffee table.
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: They kicked all the mints off the damn coffee table.
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: They just climberator. Yeah, they didn't raked all the dishes
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: off the table. Just breaking. They're just breaking out of
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: people that's watching all this on the video and tallying
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: U the invoice because you got paper all this stuff
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: right now now you know the refrigerator moved the ham
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: out of the way and put her ass on the
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: same shelf that the ham is on. You just in't
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: here and just having fun. And you in the laundry room, ye,
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: putting on a spin cycle where everybody did that happened?
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: Then you called them and they admitted and said it
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: was no big deal. They said they really love the
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: videos and they are for their personal use. Owner that
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: this is a setup to get you hot. Oh you
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: like what we did girl? The way he did this,
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: and then the way what you did to him, girl,
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: We like, damn, oh you were so hot. Well, I
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: think hot to this trap game. You ain't never seen
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: the trap game. This how the trap game was. Then
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: ain't gonna show you the videos. Let you see him
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: and let him. Oh my, this is the party, love,
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: this is my paporite party. Then the guy's gonna be talk,
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: gonna put you off at first, but then he gonna
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: this is my paper party right here, watch this, watch this.
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god. This
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: guy's great, the Scot's great. High five earl high five girl.
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: And they said this for their personal use and they'll
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: never share it with anyone else. I cussed them both out.
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: They said that if my husband and I had the
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: nerve to have They said that if my husband and
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: I had the nerve to have sex all over their house,
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: then they had no right to be upset or being filmed.
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: She said it's their house, so they had the right
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: to keep the videos. I ask our music for friends,
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: and they agree that my husband and I should not
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: be upset at all. This is ruined a lot of
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: my friendships. Do you think the homeowners are wrong or
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: are my husband and I to blame for this? What
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: should we do? Please advise? First of all, Shirley said
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: that they should have told you, and I agree with
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: that they should have told you. Let me explain something
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: to you. Get wild up in here. We got We
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: got cameras that everything aware. Now if you want us
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: to cut them off while you're in here, we will.
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: But we filmed ourselves doing the wild They we don't
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: want that. They should have told you, but they did. Now,
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: they didn't filmed you. They got video. They're on vacation
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: watching y'all's things. You and your husband. You don't know it,
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: but y'all asked pot I got you might work down
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: in Kola Song, But I got news. I got you
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: might be the director of fifteen chick fil as. And
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: y'all ain't emoting on something. That's how much y'all love
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: the low. But I got news for you though. Y'all
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: all this pawn star. Now, Shirley says, you can take
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: an accordance to for these tapes, and I'm telling you
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: you will lose because you have no case. It's spying though,
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: invasion of privacy. You're in the middle of their home. No,
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: no, No No, this is their home. They don't have to
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: tell you nothing. These cameras in the privacy of their home.
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: I can promise you this ain't the case, but I
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: don't know. They don't have to tell them that they
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: are being filmed. If you in their house, they could
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: say them a security cameras, restaurant. They can easily say
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: these a security cameras. They did not tell us that
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: they were gonna have sex over our house, so we
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: didn't think it was necessary to for on them. Well
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: we're married. How about this right here? How about this
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: right here? Well, how about this right here? I forgot
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: to tell them that we had these cameras in the house.
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: How about this right What you're not gonna do is
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: be able to soothe them for filming you in their house. Now,
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: if they came to your house and set up cameras,
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: that's a lawsuit. But you ain't gonna get nothing from them. No,
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: how so, I don't think you have a lawsuit at all.
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: I think you got to beg for them damn cameras back,
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: I think, but I probably think what they're gonna have
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: to do, you're gonna have to do a little tricky stuff.
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: Get them down. Yeah, I think you're gonna have to
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: go on and do what they really want you to do.
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: Get them tapes. Yeah, you're gonna have to come and
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: do something with it. We'll get you the taper. When
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: you little action for what you do, they cannot take
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: them to court. They'll lose if they go to court.
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: I'm not a lawyer and I'm not expert on but
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: I don't see how you can possibly win if you
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: were filmed in someone else's home. Let's say I'll give
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: you an example. After Playboy match, Playboy Playboy Match, every
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: square inch of that place is filmed except for one
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: ever ain't known you could do about it. It's it's filmed.
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: But you notice of all the years, all the stuff
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: that went on off there, you ain't ever heard nothing.
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: But does he tell the people that they're being fair
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: telling well, how do you know? How do you they
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: told me Steve every thing up him? Well, they tell
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: some people. So he made me a tent when he
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: was on the radio station, and he made me that
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: tent in the back, said this for Steve where he
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: can have some pride, you know, back wild boy? That did?
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: I needed that. So but I'm saying they did tell
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: you what that they were being filmed in. They didn't
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: tell me nothing. That's everybody went up there, NewBoy, I mean,
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: and I met you halfter that night. Ain't like he said, Steve,
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: everything's filmed. Be careful. He said, I got your private
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: tip back there where you can have some private time. Okay,
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: And he knew how to treat yea. So you know,
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: but if you went down in that grotto, inside that cave,
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: in that screen pool, what no cameras in that I did?
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: I went down. I'm gonna tell you one thing right now.
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: What he was bloody the greatest. You have to give
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: it to Jesus. Let me tell you what that old
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: boy right there play off PERSONA. All right, guys, we
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: gotta get out of here. You can post your thoughts
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: on Today's Strawberry Letter. It's Steve Harvey f M. And
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: check out our Strawberry Letter podcast on demand. Okay, our
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: Strawberry Letter podcast on demand. You can hear today's letter.
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: Uh and coming up in ten minutes, it is our
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: girl from the Talk, the one and Only Cheryl Underwood.
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: Right after this you're listening show coming up at the
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: time of the hour. It's Carla's reality update. But right
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: now from the talk, it is our girl on the waters,
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: still sitting in the chi still sitting in a child
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: that night. It's got to be at least a ten
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: or a DP. So that's it. Is he doing a
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: dog on that. Hey, you know, before I get started,
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: I gotta say something about the I think today is today,
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: Nipsey hustle home going today, and and I want all
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: their brothers and sisters talking about what we're gonna do now.
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: We're gonna pick up that baton that that Nipsey handed
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: to us. He may not be on this earth no more,
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: but he's in spirit, and I'm glad that the nation
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: and all the community is coming together and we're gonna
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: continue what he started. Don't trip if we're gonna stop
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: this thing out here and we're gonna love each other
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: and continue what he started. Any brother to have a
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: boy up the block making sure giving people jobs and
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: making sure that they had food because he would put
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: the restaurants out there so you can get healthy food.
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: Don't let Nipsey life be in vain. We got to
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: keep it going and let him know he loved him,
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: because you know, he was just one of the good ones.
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: He was one of the good guys, and that's why
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: we kind of sad that this happening. But we can
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: stop this. He started it, We're gonna keep it going.
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: So I just want to I just want to say
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: that because everybody all over the world loved this brother,
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: and I wish he would have got his flowers while
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: he was living so he could see how he's bringing
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: people together, you know what I'm saying. So I just
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: want to say that from me, Sheryl Underwood, because he
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: was a good brother. When I saw the brother, he
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: always said, you made me laugh. That's it. That was
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: all I needed right there. So I'm just I'm just
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: saying that. So what y'all want to talk about? What
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: y'all want to talk about? Congresswoman, you see Manuchi try
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: to fix his face with Maxine was lighting him up. Well,
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: let me talk to the Honorable congress Fromer. Max them
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: up because he knew what the law was. Don't let
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: me hit you in that. Can I say the A word?
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: Can I say? She pretty much said, yeah, can I
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: say that? Thommys? I just said, good. Max See was like,
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: don't let me hit you an ass with this subpoena
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: because I can. I like when she'd be and she
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: she'd be like, don't tell me how to do my job.
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: You're talking about bang to gravel. Shut up, man, you
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: know what. I'm just glad that we got somebody with
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: the skill that can do it like Maxine Waters do it.
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: And we got to keep her strong to know that
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: we got her back, and we will not tolerate this
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: type of disrespect. So we will meet you at the polls.
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: We got to go there and then we got to
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: go in and we got to vote and fill out
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: your senses for him. See, we gonna show them who
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: we truly are and that you will not disrespect. Don't
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: y'all got some of the footage, because see, they don't
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: believe us. Call us, they don't believe us when we're
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: talking about this stuff. So they will believe what they hear.
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: This ain't fake news. He was disrespectful when it did it.
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: Manngresswoman Maxine Waters, let's hear it. Listen, listen to this.
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: If you'd wish to keep me here so that I
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: don't have my important meeting and continue to grill me,
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: then we can do that. I will cancel my meeting,
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: and I will not be back here. I will be
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: very clear. If that's the way you'd like to have
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: this relationship. Thank you the gentleman. The Secretary has agreed
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: to stay to hear all of the rest of the members.
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: Please cancel your meeting. So is it possible you could
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: give us another fifteen minutes to get to know I
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: have a foreign leader waiting in my office at five thirty. Okay,
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: I agreed to stay longer. It will be embarrassing if
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: I keep this person waiting for a long period time.
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: But I not originally heard was five thirty rather than
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: five fifteen. I said, you may leave anytime you want,
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: and you said, okay, if that's what you want to do,
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: I'll cancel my open man and I'll stay here. So
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: I'm responding to your request. That's right, that's right, played
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: it right back on, play to tape, right back on
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: this what you said, and that's what I'm agreeing to.
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: And see he's stupid talking about this is embarrassing. The
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: whole administration is embarrassing. That's what it's embarrassing. All y'all
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: need to resign up there. And I'm a Republican and
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: I can say it. It's embarrassing to have y'all representing
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: our country. That's what's happening. That's embarrassing. And she did
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: the right thing by saying, oh so you said you
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: could start. You said five thirty. I heard five third,
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: you hit five? Heard of Chyl? I heard you know what, Chryl?
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: I think that music is sounded like House of card Man. Well,
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: you know Frank underwood Y, you know what happened to him?
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: We do, we do? Well, Let's talk about something fun
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: real fast. Let's talk about something fun. Can we blow
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: up the theater with a bunch of people to go
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: see Little because I just want to make this the
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: number one? Can we make it the number one movie
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: so that we can have more movies out there? And
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: then it looked like a fun movie and we just
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: don't go to the theater like we should. You know,
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: let's support. Are y'all going to see it? And Regina
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: Hall and little Marse Martin the youngest executive producer ever. Yeah,
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: I'm gonna need how to hol a us. So you know,
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: we need to make some more Tommy, come on now,
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: me and you Claude. We can remake Claude. You're gonna
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: be James Earl Jones. I'll be well. At least you
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: didn't say you were gonna be James Earl Jones for
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: a change. Now I'm a little too dark to be
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: James Earl Jones. Thank you for not doing that. But
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: I did get that little part in the Lion King.
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: You know they got they got the little the little
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: what's the is it a man's real? What is it
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: with the blue with the red nose? Yeah, I'm the start.
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: I'm the Start. They wouldn't even know that's a little
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: symbol if I didn't hold it up and look how
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: slip my Look? All right, hey, Cheryl, we gotta get
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: out of here. It's time for me to go. Yeah,
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: thank you, Cheryl. Coming up at the top of the hour,
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: Carlos Shirley, Wait, I know you're closing, but tell everybody
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: come see me at the Barclay in New York City Friday.
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: I need all them tickets the April Fool Comedy show.
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: I'm gonna at the Fool. And I slipped and called
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: somebody a name, and I'm gonna explain it at that show.
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: I got jokes. I got jokes, So I'm sorry, Charley,
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: go ahead. Okay, if you do have jokes, go see
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: Cheryl at the Burke lay everybody coming up. At the
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: top of the hour, It's Carla's Reality Update right after
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: this you're listening show, Come on, tell me get ready
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: to get ready, buckle up and hold on tight. She
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: is here. It is Reality Update with who Carla Fellow?
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: Thank you, Naphew, thank you for my intro. All right,
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: let's get going. Reality Update the reunion show where Housewives
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: of Atlanta. So yeah, Nini accused Porsche of being a
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: bad friend. They both accused one another of not supporting
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: each other, went back and forth. Nini well, Porsche said
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: that Nini didn't come to her baby Gender Revealed party.
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: Nini said she was in Canada. Portion Ninie is off
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: the love in Canada, love her Yeah. Yeah, So Porsche
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: told Andy that Ninie ain't been a none of her
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: Vince she actually she actually said sugar honey, iced tea.
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: But anyway, Ninie said the same about Porsche. She they're
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: not supportive of each other. So that was that. Then
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: Candy and Eva, Yes, yes, why do these women pretend
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: to be friends? Well, this is not really Porsche was
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: really hurt by it too, yeah, yeah, I think she's
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: done with trying to be yeah, to be Ninnie's friends. Yeah,
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: that's exactly what she said. So moving on to Candy
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: and Eva, they were canny kind of felt that Eva,
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: you know, was throwing shade earlier in the season to
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: darker skinned women. After there was a clip where Eva
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: was talking about you know, Porsche's friend Shamia, you remember her,
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: and she said Eva said that she was black, but
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: not with the queue, and you know, Candy was kind
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: of offended by that, but Eva said she wasn't trying
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: to offend darker skinned women. But Candy said, yeah, well
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: I'm a darker skinned woman and I was offended by
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: what you said. And I think the viewers thought that too.
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: I thought it too when when she said it at
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: the time. But you know, Eva tried to fix it
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: and kind of apologize if she offended anyone. But that's
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: the thing about Eva, That's what they're saying, even when
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: you throw shade, whether you think it's cute shade or
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: whether it's funny, it's still shade, but you never own it. Yeah,
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: that's their issue that they're I think that they're having
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: with Ni with Eva, Yeah, trying to participate voice on
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: this show. Yeah, literally on your show. Well you you'll
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: be interested in this part of the Union show. Nini
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: said that she felt that Cynthia's constant use of the
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: hashtag chill, but Cynthia created it for her and Mark Hill.
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: I'm sorry, Mike, Mike Hill, and there's a love connection there,
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: so there were some issues about that. Take a listen
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: to this explanation with Nini saying that Cynthia was insecure.
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: Take a listen. I have a question why her posting
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: all the pictures of her and uh, Mike, Mike, why
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: does that make her? I did not say that her
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: posting pictures of my heart might make her insecure at all.
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: They asked me about the hashtag chill. Chill does that
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: That's how I feel about it. But that's just why
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: you just see me because it seems like it's overdone,
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: like it's an overkill over chill. A girl can't have
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: an opinion, all right, okay, But I have been the
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: most supportive of Cynthia and Michael this fight with any
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: of these girls because that's my feeling, and I can
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: I just damn, but can I just have an opinion?
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: If I want to you can't have an opinion, but
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: you can as your friend, as my friend. Really, okay, well,
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: we would talk about that. It's like, oh, it's great,
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: it's amazing. I think it's amazing. I would ask the
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: question I gave my opinion friend, like your opinion friend
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: like a lot. I always better be supportive. So okay,
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: over the words the word HENI is not having. She's
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: not having well, I think. And then the issue with
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: you know, Nini without saying it in that moment, she
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: has some issues with Cynthia and she felt that Cynthia
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: played her at the end of the season. So that's
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: why she's that friend. That's why she's throwing all that
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: out there because she feels like Cynthia played her and
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: backstabbed her by inviting Kenya to the party that Cynthia's
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: a party that she had for her cocktail drink the
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: launch party. So that's that whatever Steve that is Steve
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: ut of reunion will continue next Monday. Yeah you know
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: they're gonna have three mate. Yes, you know it's not
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: over and I am here for it's all right, So
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: hit me up at lip Spark. Car Let's tell me
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: if you're on team Ninnie or Team Cynthia, and we'll
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: move on now Real Housewives of Atlanta. So that was that,
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: let's go to Love and Hip Hop Atlanta Steve j
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: but he wasn't On this particular episode, Curly Red invited her.
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: Listen to this, Steve curly Red, she invited her ex
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: young Jock to her engagement party, now her fiance. He
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: was like, what's up with that? She's like, she's over
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: her axel. It should be cool. But Jack's new lady.
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: She's a boss man. She's doing big things. She's an attorney,
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: and she wants to go to her man's ex party,
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: the engagement party. And so he's not down with the drama.
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: So we'll see if they are going to attend the party. Now,
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: let me talk to you guys about this because I
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: want to get Steve's opinion on this. Scrap scrap de Leon.
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: Now he was in prison, he Da Leon. He was
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: in prison on house arrest. His baby mama threw him
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: a party. And Tiara, that's his baby mama. She didn't
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: go see scrap when he was locked up. Actually, she
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: got married in a whole bunch of other drama, had
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: a baby and everything. But now she wants him back,
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: and he's moved on. He's dating Moniz, who was on
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: Love and Hip Hop Hollywood. Long story short, Tiara through
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: this party for him. He left the party. When Monice
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: arrived outside, she text him told him to come out.
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: She was mad at his ex through this party. He
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: leaves the party. He doesn't tell anybody he's gone. Then
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: his baby mama comes back and asked him about it,
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: and then she hits him face yes, and so security yes,
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: six she she really went in and hit this guy's
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: security and the producers they all jumped in the scene
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: and they stopped it because this guy is on parole
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: and he's on house arrest. So he walked away. He
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: walked upstairs. He doesn't want any trouble, he doesn't. He
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: got pretty much. Yeah, he didn't. He doesn't want to.
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: He doesn't want to mess upistical Corrolla. He doesn't want
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: any of that. And I just I don't know, you know,
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: all this drama with Tiera, you just you know, you
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: can't put your hands on nobody, and uh, I just
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: think that that was a little little too much. Um.
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: This show is just it's a lot. Yeah, it's a
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: lot going on. So hit me up at litspart, Carla,
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: let me know what you thought about Loving Hip Hop Atlanta,
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: Real Housewives of Atlanta, And I'll tell you about Kim
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: Kardashian wants to be an attorney and she's working on that. Yep.
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: Then we'll talk about all of that. Yeah, we'll be
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: back at twenty after. Yep, you're listening to show. All right, guys,
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: here's a trending good news story for a change. This
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: is some good news. Oprah Winfrey has donated two million
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: dollars to Puerto Rico. You know, Puerto Rico is still
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: struggling to recover from Hurricane Maria, and Oprah says she
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: was inspired by Hamilton Broadway star Lynn Manuel Miranda because
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: he's been doing work on the island. A million will
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: go to the Hispanic Federation and another million will go
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: to the Flamboyant Arts Fund. Oprah sent in a statement
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: that she wanted to join in the revitalization efforts of
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: an island so rich in culture, beauty and heritage. The
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: needs of Puerto Rico and our fellow American citizens following
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: the tragic hurricanes are still very real. So there you go.
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: That's why that was good two million dollars to Puerto Rico. Yeah.
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: In other trending news, John Legend recently started taking swimming
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: lessons um and it certainly looks like he's getting tips
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: from an expert. Olympic gold medal winning swimmer, Ryan Lochtey
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: Steve is teaching John Legend how to swim. He shared
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: a video of him swimming with him, captioning it not
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: a bad from Ryan Lochtey. Yeah, yeah, and Ryan Lochtey
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: we all know from yeah, because I'll be out on
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: the water all the time. I fall in and be
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: held Nah you swimming? Na, I had you swimming three?
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: You know I won't I have somebody with the same
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: lengther arms just in. He swimming real fast. I'd have
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: seen his women looked like he's asked it, getting it
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: when coming to jas like a little bitty baby turtle
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: that them finally come out to say, and just be
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: scampering his ass over to that water, trying to get
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: to that water for the hawks. He just asked, that's
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: how tim swim. Somebody with long Yeah, you touch your
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: son how to swim? Right? Tell me? Yeah, well, hell
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: I talk know how to swim. I shearan I know enough,
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: how to you know, stay up for a couple of seconds.
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: Ain't got long though, Yeah, you should do that. That
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: would be something fun to learn. Do you get scared
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: the scuba dive? I've never been in the pool A
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: couple of times. Guard did some exercise and put these
- 1:27:02Speaker 1: twenty five pounds weights in my hand and walked in
- 1:27:04Speaker 1: length of the pool underwater. Oh you know stuff like yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: good exercise. Yeah. Your heart rate be a lot high
- 1:27:13Speaker 1: for no reason, Jeff from holding your damn brew all right.
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: In other trending news, the question is now becoming is
- 1:27:23Speaker 1: the tide of public opinion turning in favor of Michael Jackson.
- 1:27:28Speaker 1: It appears that HBO has stopped airing Leaving Never Neverland.
- 1:27:34Speaker 1: That's the controversial documentary about Michael Jackson. That coincides with
- 1:27:39Speaker 1: more doubt being cast on the testimony of alleged child
- 1:27:42Speaker 1: abuse victims Wade Robeson and James safe Chuck. Today, Britain's
- 1:27:47Speaker 1: son Tabloid published a photo proving that the train station
- 1:27:50Speaker 1: where safe Chuck claimed he was abused in nineteen ninety
- 1:27:53Speaker 1: three was not yet built. They're also inconsistencies involving the
- 1:27:58Speaker 1: ranch and Amusement part Bumper Bumper Cars and Roller Coaster.
- 1:28:03Speaker 1: Oprah is one of the ones who appears to be
- 1:28:07Speaker 1: changing her stance on the accusations. She's pulled the interviews
- 1:28:12Speaker 1: she did with Wade Ropes and and James Shakes Safe
- 1:28:15Speaker 1: Chuck that had been posted on her YouTube channel. Hey listen,
- 1:28:19Speaker 1: I am a GISs abuse of children in any way,
- 1:28:23Speaker 1: grown folks women all today and I didn't see it
- 1:28:28Speaker 1: because I've always wondered why now after his death and
- 1:28:32Speaker 1: his inability to defend him itself or retract or you know,
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: to contradict any statements. Now don't mean it's false, but
- 1:28:41Speaker 1: it don't mean it's true either though. All right, We'll
- 1:28:44Speaker 1: be back with more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show
- 1:28:47Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to show. The intersection where
- 1:28:53Speaker 1: Nipsey Hustle opened his Marathon clothing store will be named
- 1:28:57Speaker 1: after him. South Los Angeles City Councilman Marquis Harris Dawson
- 1:29:02Speaker 1: announced that the intersection of Crenshaw Boulevard and West Slawson
- 1:29:07Speaker 1: Avenue will be renamed or Maia's Nipsey Hustle Ashdam Square.
- 1:29:13Speaker 1: Uh Mister Harris Dawson said Ermias Ashdam, known as Nipsey Hustle,
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: was an icon and West Coast hero. Nipsey's genuine nature
- 1:29:22Speaker 1: allowed him to be a light to everyone he interacted with,
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: from family, friends, fans, and his larger community. Nipsey will
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: always be remembered for delivering a pure, authentic Los Angeles sound,
- 1:29:35Speaker 1: his numerous philanthropic philanthropic efforts, his innovative, community focused business mindset,
- 1:29:42Speaker 1: and his humble heart. Wow. Nice, that's big. That's big. Yeah,
- 1:29:47Speaker 1: and that happens very quickly. Huh. And I'm just going
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: to really have to be really honest. I did not
- 1:29:54Speaker 1: really really get the gravity and understand the magnitude of
- 1:29:58Speaker 1: what this young man had him. But she didn't done.
- 1:30:01Speaker 1: I just didn't because I didn't I didn't know him personally.
- 1:30:04Speaker 1: I just people didn't know Steve. I didn't know. It
- 1:30:08Speaker 1: came out, you know, what he was doing in the community.
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: That's why it was so heartfelt. After you know, people
- 1:30:14Speaker 1: started talking about what he was doing and people started
- 1:30:17Speaker 1: realizing what this man contributed to the community, then that's
- 1:30:21Speaker 1: when everyone was like, wow, well let me take another
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: look and see who he really, why he was really
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: people just did not know. They didn't know. No, he
- 1:30:31Speaker 1: was powerful man, and I didn't I was just listening
- 1:30:34Speaker 1: to when I did deal hugleish. I was listening to
- 1:30:37Speaker 1: his daughter do this thing that she caused millennial moment,
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: and she was talking about his music and what he
- 1:30:45Speaker 1: was saying. And I just didn't know, you know. And
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: I was listening to my son talk about it and
- 1:30:52Speaker 1: his best fridge and a twenty seven, twenty six years old,
- 1:30:56Speaker 1: and I didn't know this cat was that man. I
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: just didn't know the principle of some but walking up
- 1:31:04Speaker 1: to a man and taking his life away and not
- 1:31:08Speaker 1: even understanding what you've done, what you've done and over
- 1:31:14Speaker 1: what the oval? What man? Do you understand the magnitude
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: that you've done and over what man? And that's why, uh,
- 1:31:24Speaker 1: you know, not to change it. But that's why this
- 1:31:26Speaker 1: mentoring program is so important, because we've got to get
- 1:31:29Speaker 1: young men, got to get them mentally tracking right so
- 1:31:34Speaker 1: that they can start thinking of life beyond todate and
- 1:31:38Speaker 1: start realizing that mistakes you mistakes and and things that
- 1:31:42Speaker 1: you today can have a profound effect on life for
- 1:31:45Speaker 1: yourself and as well as others. You can't just live
- 1:31:48Speaker 1: in the moment all the time, there's a future to
- 1:31:50Speaker 1: this thing that this young man to kill this brother
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: whoa man, man, Beyonce. I mean, just but you know what,
- 1:32:04Speaker 1: and and besides that, did he ever think for one
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: minute what was going to happen to himself after he
- 1:32:14Speaker 1: did this? You couldn't have thought this out at all,
- 1:32:20Speaker 1: because if you would have known, if you would have
- 1:32:22Speaker 1: thought this out for just a brief moment, we gotta
- 1:32:26Speaker 1: start thinking. Man. Yeah, all right, we'll be back with
- 1:32:29Speaker 1: our last break of the day and some closing remarks
- 1:32:32Speaker 1: from Steve Harvey right after this. You're listening, all right, Steve,
- 1:32:39Speaker 1: Here we are last break of the day on this Thursday. Um,
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: take us home with some closing remarks. Uh. You know,
- 1:32:46Speaker 1: somebody sent me something a while back. You know, I
- 1:32:51Speaker 1: keep stuff that people send me because a lot of
- 1:32:56Speaker 1: people send me things when I know I'm going through something.
- 1:32:59Speaker 1: A lot of people send me stuff when just to say, Steve,
- 1:33:03Speaker 1: if you're out there talking, man, here's a thought for you.
- 1:33:08Speaker 1: And one of the things that I've learned in my
- 1:33:14Speaker 1: life is that all of us are going to be tested.
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: We're going to be tested and tried throughout our life.
- 1:33:24Speaker 1: It's these tests that are presented to us that has
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: allows us an opportunity to grow. Every test that comes
- 1:33:33Speaker 1: your way is an opportunity for you to gain some
- 1:33:36Speaker 1: valuable knowledge from it, and so throughout life you will
- 1:33:40Speaker 1: always be tested. Everything that happens to you is not
- 1:33:45Speaker 1: just because the devil is busy. Some thing's happen to
- 1:33:50Speaker 1: you because God has to present certain things for you
- 1:33:54Speaker 1: in order for you to learn how to deal with it,
- 1:33:57Speaker 1: which better prepares you for what you ask for later
- 1:34:01Speaker 1: in life, or to prepare you for what God is
- 1:34:04Speaker 1: going to present to you later in life. So when
- 1:34:07Speaker 1: you're going through hardships, you gotta understand that these hardships
- 1:34:10Speaker 1: are preparing you for the future. And like I've been
- 1:34:14Speaker 1: saying a lot over the past few weeks, if you
- 1:34:17Speaker 1: think about all your hardships and your tough days and
- 1:34:19Speaker 1: your rough days, your actual record for surviving bad days
- 1:34:26Speaker 1: all the way up until this point, y'all, is one
- 1:34:29Speaker 1: h And that's a pretty good track record. Now, in
- 1:34:34Speaker 1: this test that God is going to present to you,
- 1:34:38Speaker 1: somebody sent this to me on a plaque, and it's
- 1:34:40Speaker 1: said that life has many ways of testing a person's will.
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: I want you to hear me clearly, it says life
- 1:34:48Speaker 1: has many ways of testing a person's will, either though
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: by having nothing happened at all, or by having everything
- 1:35:02Speaker 1: happened all at once. Do you know how truth of
- 1:35:07Speaker 1: statement that is? You get tested by? First of all,
- 1:35:14Speaker 1: a person's will get tested by either having nothing happened
- 1:35:18Speaker 1: at all. You know how hard it is man when
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: you ain't got nothing going on? Do you know how
- 1:35:23Speaker 1: hard it is man when you can't get nothing popping?
- 1:35:26Speaker 1: You know how difficult life can be man when you
- 1:35:28Speaker 1: just can't seem to get it right? Do you know
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: the difficulties you face? Man who ain't nothing clicking on
- 1:35:33Speaker 1: none of the cylinders, Man, ain't nothing happening at at all?
- 1:35:37Speaker 1: That's a test, man, that's a real hard test. Man.
- 1:35:41Speaker 1: That's when you're sitting up that man, going Lord, Heavenly Father.
- 1:35:44Speaker 1: And now it's preparing you and conditioning you to get
- 1:35:48Speaker 1: closer to God, because I'm telling you, man, you can't
- 1:35:51Speaker 1: making in this world without God. Now you can keep
- 1:35:54Speaker 1: on trying this way if you want to, But I
- 1:35:56Speaker 1: got news for you. You can lock in on this
- 1:35:59Speaker 1: from this fact. You can't make it through this life
- 1:36:02Speaker 1: without no God. You can't do it. You cannot do it.
- 1:36:05Speaker 1: It's too difficult. And one of the tests to get
- 1:36:08Speaker 1: you to draw closer to him is sometimes a person's
- 1:36:12Speaker 1: wheel is tested by having nothing happened at all. But
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: here's the other way you get tested. How about this one?
- 1:36:19Speaker 1: All by having everything happened all that wants How many
- 1:36:26Speaker 1: times that didn't happen? Man, when it just felt like man,
- 1:36:31Speaker 1: it's raining cats and dogs on you. It's almost like, man,
- 1:36:36Speaker 1: you can't catch a breaking. Ten minute ago you couldn't
- 1:36:40Speaker 1: catch a break to get something happened, and now all
- 1:36:42Speaker 1: of a suddenly look like you can't stop this thing
- 1:36:44Speaker 1: from happening. It's just snowballing on you. Man, that's a test.
- 1:36:50Speaker 1: You know what. God has wanting you to get close
- 1:36:52Speaker 1: to him too, so he can take some of that
- 1:36:54Speaker 1: weight up off you, so you can take your troubles
- 1:36:57Speaker 1: to him and tied to him, so he can prove
- 1:36:59Speaker 1: to you that you ain't in this thing by yourself. See,
- 1:37:02Speaker 1: you ain't in life by yourself. When it ain't you
- 1:37:04Speaker 1: ain't got nothing happening, and you ain't got and you
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: ain't by yourself in life when you got everything happened,
- 1:37:12Speaker 1: You need God. Man, I kid you not, and you
- 1:37:17Speaker 1: know how I know what I'm talking about because you're
- 1:37:19Speaker 1: looking at a man who tried it without it, and
- 1:37:21Speaker 1: I knew better. My mom was a Sunday school teacher.
- 1:37:23Speaker 1: I knew better than to turn away and tried it
- 1:37:26Speaker 1: in my way. But I did it for years and
- 1:37:29Speaker 1: I made you know what I mean, I made a
- 1:37:30Speaker 1: mess out of myself. I was turning myself into a
- 1:37:34Speaker 1: big old glob or nothing. But he got my undivided
- 1:37:40Speaker 1: attention one day when I was at a real low point,
- 1:37:46Speaker 1: on one of them days where I thought't gonna rise
- 1:37:48Speaker 1: no more, on one of them days where I thought, man,
- 1:37:51Speaker 1: i'n't had enough of this. I ain't never thought about
- 1:37:53Speaker 1: killing myself. I ain't never thought about checking out. The
- 1:37:55Speaker 1: thought has never crossed my mind. But I'm just talking
- 1:37:57Speaker 1: about I just had some days, man. We're just felt
- 1:37:59Speaker 1: like man said like, yeah, I can't do no more
- 1:38:01Speaker 1: this hill. When I was living in that car, I
- 1:38:03Speaker 1: had some days man when I just said, Man, I
- 1:38:05Speaker 1: can't do this no more. I'm gonna go home. Man,
- 1:38:09Speaker 1: I'm gonna go home my mom and daddy. Man, just
- 1:38:10Speaker 1: see if I can stay there until I find a job.
- 1:38:12Speaker 1: I almost did that, because you know, what what Nothing
- 1:38:17Speaker 1: happened at all? I couldn't get nothing clicking and right
- 1:38:22Speaker 1: about the man, I just say, as Scottison, man, can
- 1:38:25Speaker 1: you just show me a sign that it's gonna be
- 1:38:27Speaker 1: our next thing? I knew? I called as some machine
- 1:38:30Speaker 1: in my mama's house and it was a message and
- 1:38:33Speaker 1: it was a guy named truck Chuck Sutton that showed
- 1:38:35Speaker 1: time with their power. Next thing, you know, man, next thing?
- 1:38:40Speaker 1: You know? That weekend I was on TV for the
- 1:38:45Speaker 1: very first time, and do you know something that I've
- 1:38:49Speaker 1: been on TV every since then? But it was real
- 1:38:53Speaker 1: dog from me four minutes. But he always comes. Life
- 1:38:56Speaker 1: got a lot of ways and testing the people. If
- 1:38:59Speaker 1: I haven't got that happened at all, happen Paris. For
