- 1:31Speaker 3: Turn about, got to turn turn probably got to turn
- 1:44Speaker 3: out to turn him out, turn the money up. Come me,
- 1:58Speaker 3: come on you think that?
- 2:01Speaker 6: Uh huh, I sure will A good morning everybody. You're
- 2:05Speaker 6: listening to the voice, Come on dig me now, one
- 2:09Speaker 6: and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. I have
- 2:12Speaker 6: something and it so describes how I was living. It
- 2:16Speaker 6: so captures the feelings that I had about beginning on
- 2:23Speaker 6: the pathway of my dreams. It so describes how I
- 2:28Speaker 6: felt when I was about to attempt something. And I
- 2:32Speaker 6: have some striking news for you. It describes often how
- 2:37Speaker 6: I feel still today to a degree. So let me
- 2:41Speaker 6: tell you what that is. Here's an analogy that I've
- 2:45Speaker 6: heard a couple of different ways, but I've kind of,
- 2:49Speaker 6: you know, fixed it around to where I can drink
- 2:51Speaker 6: it better, and I think it fits my personality to
- 2:55Speaker 6: describe it to people best this way. I've talked often
- 2:59Speaker 6: about the urge and see of doing something with your life,
- 3:04Speaker 6: of getting started today, of stopping the procrastination and putting
- 3:08Speaker 6: it off, and waiting on all your ducks to line
- 3:11Speaker 6: up in a row, and waiting until the stars aligned themselves.
- 3:15Speaker 6: If you waiting on such a thing, you're never gonna
- 3:18Speaker 6: get started. I don't know too many people who can
- 3:21Speaker 6: say that all the ducks just lined up in the row.
- 3:24Speaker 6: Things happen. Even when you get them lined up. One
- 3:27Speaker 6: of the ducks get out of line, or somebody knock
- 3:30Speaker 6: over the domino. Something happens. But here's the point I'm
- 3:33Speaker 6: getting at. God has so many blessings available to you.
- 3:43Speaker 6: You who's listening. God has so many blessings available to
- 3:48Speaker 6: you from where you are right now. I don't care
- 3:53Speaker 6: what you've gotten yourself into or what you've done. God
- 3:57Speaker 6: has so many blessings that he can send your way.
- 4:03Speaker 6: But you have to do something. See a lot of
- 4:07Speaker 6: people just sit around and go man, I don't know.
- 4:10Speaker 6: Something always happening to you. You're always getting a break,
- 4:13Speaker 6: You're always doing this. You always do it. Man, do
- 4:15Speaker 6: nothing come my way? Listen to me. If nothing ever
- 4:18Speaker 6: comes your way. You know why that is. It's because
- 4:21Speaker 6: you're not doing anything. I promise you you not. Here's
- 4:25Speaker 6: a deal. God has all these blessings he wants to
- 4:28Speaker 6: send you, but you got to give him something to
- 4:31Speaker 6: work with. Now, come on, God will bless you. God
- 4:35Speaker 6: can touch people's hearts on your behalf. He can move
- 4:39Speaker 6: situations around for you. He can align the stars. He
- 4:42Speaker 6: can set the ducks up in the row. But align
- 4:45Speaker 6: the stars and move people around, and touch people's hearts
- 4:48Speaker 6: and set the ducks up in the row. For what
- 4:51Speaker 6: have you put forth? Any effort? Have you made a
- 4:54Speaker 6: single step in any direction to do the right thing
- 4:58Speaker 6: or go the right way? That gives t him something
- 5:00Speaker 6: to put his finger on. Come on, man, God can
- 5:05Speaker 6: only bless you according to your faith. If you have
- 5:09Speaker 6: a little bit of faith, give him that. Let him
- 5:11Speaker 6: work with that. You know, man, I didn't always start
- 5:14Speaker 6: with these speeches you hear in the morning.
- 5:16Speaker 7: Now.
- 5:16Speaker 6: I ain't always had these. I grew to these. I
- 5:19Speaker 6: stumbled my way to these. I messed up my way
- 5:23Speaker 6: to these. Here, I got it wrong so many times
- 5:27Speaker 6: to be able to sound like I got some sense,
- 5:30Speaker 6: I said it often. Failure is a wonderful teacher. Do
- 5:33Speaker 6: you know how many times I have had to have
- 5:35Speaker 6: failed to have what I have in my head today.
- 5:39Speaker 6: I'm telling you, man, it's a process. People get mad
- 5:43Speaker 6: at the process. You got to do something to give
- 5:46Speaker 6: God something to work with. He'll bless you. But what
- 5:49Speaker 6: you want me to bless If you ain't putting forth
- 5:51Speaker 6: any effort, you can get blessed from wherever you are
- 5:54Speaker 6: in your life, wherever your starting point is, wherever you
- 5:58Speaker 6: find yourself wound up, you can get it back from there.
- 6:01Speaker 6: I've done it, man, by the grace of God, I've
- 6:04Speaker 6: done it. I got over. Man. I learned some things
- 6:07Speaker 6: along the way. Because here's the deal. As long as
- 6:10Speaker 6: God keeps waking you up in the morning, he ain't
- 6:12Speaker 6: through with you yet. When he's done, you're done. But
- 6:15Speaker 6: if God still has a plan for you you wake
- 6:17Speaker 6: up in the morning, he still got some more work
- 6:20Speaker 6: for you to do. You wake up in the morning.
- 6:22Speaker 6: So if you keep waking up, man, it's something that
- 6:24Speaker 6: God wants from you, would love to have from you,
- 6:28Speaker 6: and He can work with you, man, if you just
- 6:30Speaker 6: walk towards him a little bit. Here's the deal. I
- 6:34Speaker 6: know it's hard for the average person to start because
- 6:38Speaker 6: the fear of the unknown is incredible. What if I fail.
- 6:41Speaker 6: What if I don't get picked. You know, one of
- 6:43Speaker 6: the hardest things I ever did was walking in to
- 6:46Speaker 6: quit my job. Oh man, let me tell you about
- 6:49Speaker 6: that day when I decided that I was gonna be
- 6:52Speaker 6: a full time comedian after winning an amateur night one time.
- 6:57Speaker 6: Quitting your job, following your dream, going for it despite
- 7:02Speaker 6: all the nay says, it's like stepping off a cliff.
- 7:06Speaker 6: It's like actually just walking off the edge of a cliff, hoping, hoping.
- 7:13Speaker 6: Now not really knowing, but hoping. Hoping is the bad
- 7:19Speaker 6: basis of faith. I stepped off that cliff hoping that
- 7:25Speaker 6: my parachute would open and allow me to drift down. See.
- 7:31Speaker 6: I've never scott dived before, but I would imagine part
- 7:34Speaker 6: of the thrill. And I don't know this because I'm
- 7:37Speaker 6: not going to sCOD Dive to find out. I think
- 7:40Speaker 6: part of the thrill for people is the danger part
- 7:44Speaker 6: of throwing yourself out a plane and how it feels
- 7:47Speaker 6: to be free falling, but the whole time they're free falling,
- 7:51Speaker 6: having this exhilarating, over the top moment. You have got
- 7:56Speaker 6: to believe in your heart of hearts, you have got
- 7:59Speaker 6: the hope with everything in you that when you pull
- 8:02Speaker 6: this cord the shoot opens or else. This ain't a
- 8:06Speaker 6: good move at all. But you've packed your SHOOTE yourself.
- 8:09Speaker 6: You've taken the lessons, so you go ahead and you
- 8:12Speaker 6: make the leap. Now, the only thing about quitting your
- 8:15Speaker 6: job and following your dream is you ain't really been
- 8:17Speaker 6: trained all that good for this. You done packed your SHOOTE,
- 8:21Speaker 6: but you ain't never opened it before. So I walked
- 8:24Speaker 6: off this cliff, That's what it was like. And you
- 8:26Speaker 6: following your dreams like you walking off a cliff. Here's
- 8:30Speaker 6: the part where people don't never make the jump. They
- 8:33Speaker 6: see somebody like myself who jumped off the cliff and
- 8:36Speaker 6: the pass chute don't open right away, and I hit
- 8:39Speaker 6: a couple of rocks on the way down. I got
- 8:42Speaker 6: my back cut up pretty bad. They see that three
- 8:46Speaker 6: years living in a car, man, he got it life
- 8:48Speaker 6: toe down jumping off that cliff. I ain't jumping off
- 8:51Speaker 6: that cliff. But see, what you don't understand is you
- 8:55Speaker 6: don't know it, but eventually the shoot will open. I'm
- 9:00Speaker 6: at the parachute opening part of my life, man, where
- 9:03Speaker 6: to SHOOTE then open and I'm drifting and I'm able
- 9:06Speaker 6: to guide my chute over to Paris and glide. I've
- 9:10Speaker 6: glided over the African and seen what it looked like.
- 9:13Speaker 6: It's a slow ride down. When the pass chute finally
- 9:16Speaker 6: opened and my back didn't heel too and the cuts
- 9:19Speaker 6: that I had on me, I remember now I know
- 9:22Speaker 6: how to stay away from the edge. But the paras
- 9:24Speaker 6: chute then opened, and I'm enjoying my life for the
- 9:27Speaker 6: first time. I'm gliding, but I got hit up against
- 9:31Speaker 6: the rock. I can see more. I get a chance
- 9:33Speaker 6: to see more things. I get to glide and see
- 9:36Speaker 6: more parts of the world. I'm living my dream. Your
- 9:39Speaker 6: parachute is gonna open, but I'll tell you one thing
- 9:42Speaker 6: for show. It'll never open if you don't step off
- 9:45Speaker 6: that cliff. You got to step off that cliff God
- 9:48Speaker 6: to get the pasachute open for you. But you got
- 9:50Speaker 6: to jump, baby. That's the hard part, ain't it now?
- 9:53Speaker 6: Question is the end of this story right here today?
- 9:55Speaker 6: When you jumping.
- 9:56Speaker 8: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 25:25Speaker 8: husband's coat smelled like perfume, and he said it was
- 25:28Speaker 8: from a client he met with earlier. So I put
- 25:30Speaker 8: a dab of his cologne on my coat and breezed
- 25:33Speaker 8: by him. The next day he noticed it, so I
- 25:36Speaker 8: gave him the same excuse he gave me. He said,
- 25:39Speaker 8: I'm petty. Why is it cool for him to hug
- 25:42Speaker 8: another lady? But I can't hug another man?
- 25:46Speaker 6: Or a man.

- 26:23Speaker 6: didn't know it was on that because if I knew
- 26:25Speaker 6: if he was on there, I just threw that damn
- 26:27Speaker 6: jacket out the window. He would left that hideway out
- 26:32Speaker 6: of damn about no suit. I don't care nothing about
- 26:34Speaker 6: no suit. If I'd have knew that makeup was on
- 26:36Speaker 6: my shoulder, I'd have threw that damn jacket out through it.
- 26:42Speaker 6: Back in the day, it's a lot of shirts and
- 26:45Speaker 6: trash cans, and it's a lot of shirt customs, laziership.

- 27:10Speaker 6: in all that lipstick could be off that car, all right,
- 27:14Speaker 6: look at you? Yeah, and that don't work. My strong suggestion.
- 27:20Speaker 6: Shirt way in the house with just your suit.
- 27:22Speaker 11: Jacket off the shirt? What is the lie you were
- 27:31Speaker 11: going to tell her?
- 27:32Speaker 6: I was coming out of the office and I got hot,
- 27:35Speaker 6: so I took my jacket off and I had it
- 27:37Speaker 6: over my arm, and I was walking to the car
- 27:39Speaker 6: and I told this man, excuse me, and I scraped
- 27:42Speaker 6: up against the telephone poles, tore that whole damn shirt off.
- 27:45Speaker 11: And nothing happened to the jacket, the jacket that was
- 27:48Speaker 11: on top.
- 27:49Speaker 6: No I had the no, no I had took You
- 27:51Speaker 6: didn't hear me say, I took my jacket off because

- 27:58Speaker 6: pole he got caught up on there, told that shirt
- 28:01Speaker 6: right off.
- 28:01Speaker 2: I like it.
- 28:03Speaker 6: And then I saw a homeless man and he didn't
- 28:05Speaker 6: have no shirt, and I just took my shirt off
- 28:07Speaker 6: that telephone pole and gave it to him. God, I
- 28:10Speaker 6: was gonna ask you where is the shirt? But I
- 28:13Speaker 6: gave it to a homeless man because he didn't have none.
- 28:15Speaker 6: He put it rock button it up on him and everything.
- 28:17Speaker 6: It was a nice little fit, told any but he

- 28:26Speaker 6: You said, what did you say? Look at God? What
- 28:27Speaker 6: did you look at? All right?
- 28:33Speaker 11: Last one?
- 28:33Speaker 8: Colo Mark and Bentonville says, my girlfriend went by the
- 28:37Speaker 8: hospital to see her childhood friend. She showed me a

- 48:01Speaker 2: gonna make it look real good or whatever. But you
- 48:03Speaker 2: know you're gonna you know, you represent. But this is
- 48:05Speaker 2: the new social media outlet that people gonna be communicating with.
- 48:08Speaker 2: But this is Booty Drop, and we're getting ready to

- 48:28Speaker 10: I'm not doing no booty dropping.
- 48:30Speaker 6: Okay, So hold up, okay, hold on hold on, hold up,

- 48:37Speaker 2: hold on, now, we got all the slides feeled except
- 48:40Speaker 2: for this one.
- 48:41Speaker 6: So you know, I don't want to.
- 48:42Speaker 2: I don't want to have our app there, and then
- 48:44Speaker 2: we ain't got everything on that we need, so we
- 48:46Speaker 2: gotta have you to do this.
- 48:48Speaker 10: Look, well, there's a lot of booties. Okay, I'm not
- 48:51Speaker 10: the only one, you know, thank you. No, ain't gonna
- 48:54Speaker 10: be no booty.
- 48:55Speaker 6: So I'm assuming you know, I don't mean no harm
- 48:57Speaker 6: like I say this Kate Doug, I don't mean no harm.
- 48:59Speaker 2: But let me ask you this here. So evidently you
- 49:02Speaker 2: must have a butt that people admire. If you know,
- 49:04Speaker 2: if they put your name on here, then you must
- 49:06Speaker 2: have a butt that they admire.
- 49:08Speaker 6: You know what I mean. I'm trying to be as
- 49:09Speaker 6: gentleman as possible. You understand what I'm saying.
- 49:11Speaker 2: Uh?
- 49:12Speaker 6: Is it a reason why you don't want to, you know, participate?
- 49:15Speaker 5: What?
- 49:16Speaker 10: Ain't nobody gonna be putting their booty on the internet
- 49:19Speaker 10: for some apps?
- 49:20Speaker 6: No?
- 49:21Speaker 2: No, no, okay, So let me ask you this here.
- 49:23Speaker 2: You ain't You ain't on none of the other social
- 49:26Speaker 2: media unless you don't have no pictures on there or
- 49:28Speaker 2: nothing like that, not with my booty. No, So you're
- 49:31Speaker 2: just trying to tell me that all your pictures are
- 49:34Speaker 2: from the waist up.
- 49:35Speaker 10: No, they're not all from the waist up. But I'm
- 49:37Speaker 10: not about to be flashing my booty and jiggling it
- 49:39Speaker 10: for your app.
- 49:40Speaker 2: But but, but see, you don't understand what booty drop
- 49:43Speaker 2: can do for you. Booty Drop. Booty Drop can bring
- 49:46Speaker 2: a lot of attention, you know, to you. You know
- 49:49Speaker 2: you're gonna you're gonna meet a lot of people on
- 49:51Speaker 2: this booty Drop app.
- 49:52Speaker 6: And that's what else. What I'm trying to say is
- 49:54Speaker 6: I don't want you to knock it.
- 49:55Speaker 2: Tea.
- 49:55Speaker 6: You tried it.
- 49:56Speaker 2: Now, I say, we put your booty on there for
- 49:58Speaker 2: the first week, and you see how many hits you get,
- 50:01Speaker 2: and if you don't like it, then we take it down.
- 50:03Speaker 6: That's all I'm saying.
- 50:04Speaker 15: Just you know, let me tell you something.
- 50:08Speaker 10: You're not about to put my booty on no app
- 50:11Speaker 10: talking about giving it a week. You know I got
- 50:13Speaker 10: a brain, right, Ain't nobody about to be looking at
- 50:15Speaker 10: my booty for a week on the internet.
- 50:18Speaker 2: All I'm saying is give your booty a week. That's
- 50:19Speaker 2: all I'm saying. Give your booty a week on on
- 50:21Speaker 2: my appening time.
- 50:22Speaker 14: We good.
- 50:23Speaker 10: No, not putting my booty on no Internet.
- 50:26Speaker 6: So okay, are you insecure about yourself? No?
- 50:30Speaker 10: I feel great about myself. That's why I can say no.
- 50:34Speaker 6: Let me just say this to you.
- 50:35Speaker 2: Now, when once Booty Drop blow up and become a
- 50:38Speaker 2: big time social media then you know, a social outlet,
- 50:42Speaker 2: then you're gonna be wanting to get back on here.
- 50:44Speaker 6: And I'm gonna be honest with your k Dub. I
- 50:46Speaker 6: ain't gonna want you on here no more because of
- 50:48Speaker 6: the way you acting with me.
- 50:49Speaker 5: Now, well that's.
- 50:50Speaker 10: Okay, k Dub, you do you bill, it's not happening.
- 50:54Speaker 10: I'll go ahead and follow y'all tomorrow, but I'm not
- 50:57Speaker 10: about to be on there.
- 50:58Speaker 6: So you don't want to be a star. Trying to
- 51:00Speaker 6: make you a star is what I'm trying to say.
- 51:02Speaker 10: I'm all right, I don't think I'm gonna be an
- 51:04Speaker 10: Instagram star from my booty jiggling. I'm okay, there's plenty
- 51:08Speaker 10: of people doing that already here. You'll find somebody to
- 51:11Speaker 10: get that slot.
- 51:12Speaker 6: I'm just trying to make you a star. That's all
- 51:14Speaker 6: I'm trying to do.
- 51:15Speaker 10: You know what I'm really well, I really want to
- 51:17Speaker 10: know is who told you to call me this? Some
- 51:20Speaker 10: more books? Don't nobody need this? You don't call me
- 51:23Speaker 10: talking about you want to see my booty?
- 51:25Speaker 9: Who do you think I am?
- 51:26Speaker 10: Better question? Who do you think you are?
- 51:28Speaker 14: This is some books.
- 51:30Speaker 10: Black women don't have time for this. You need to
- 51:32Speaker 10: call talking about you're gonna pay some bills, That's what
- 51:34Speaker 10: you need to call talking about. Don't call me talking
- 51:36Speaker 10: about no booties.
- 51:38Speaker 11: I'm sorry, what don't.
- 51:41Speaker 10: Talking about no booties? Call me talking about you want
- 51:44Speaker 10: to pay some student loans. Tell me you're trying to
- 51:46Speaker 10: pay a car note. Don't call me talking about you
- 51:48Speaker 10: want to see my booty on the internet. This is
- 51:51Speaker 10: so ridiculous, Like what is this book?
- 51:55Speaker 6: Okay?
- 51:55Speaker 2: Okay, okay, So I guess it's safe to say you
- 51:59Speaker 2: ain't gonna drop your.

- 56:22Speaker 11: Thank you nephew. Subject he got fired and put out
- 56:25Speaker 11: of the house. Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 56:28Speaker 8: I was married for six years to a man that
- 56:30Speaker 8: I didn't even want to be with at first, but
- 56:33Speaker 8: he pursued me heavily and I gave in after he
- 56:37Speaker 8: proposed to me. I waited three years to marry him
- 56:40Speaker 8: and I guess it was my intuition because I had
- 56:43Speaker 8: second thoughts about getting married up until my wedding day.
- 56:47Speaker 8: Looking back on things, the signs were there that he
- 56:50Speaker 8: was a cheater, but we had sex three or four
- 56:52Speaker 8: times a week, and I was naive enough to think
- 56:55Speaker 8: that would satisfy him. Whenever he was in the bathroom,
- 56:59Speaker 8: he locked the door and he'd be in the shower
- 57:01Speaker 8: a very long time. His phone was always in his
- 57:05Speaker 8: hand or in his pocket, and he stopped wearing his
- 57:08Speaker 8: ring and told me he didn't want to damage it
- 57:11Speaker 8: at work. But I found out that he's a liar
- 57:14Speaker 8: that lies about everything. Here's what happened. He works as
- 57:18Speaker 8: a logistics supervisor for a delivery service and he had
- 57:21Speaker 8: a driver that didn't show up, so he had to
- 57:23Speaker 8: cover the delivery route himself. And he was driving a
- 57:27Speaker 8: company vehicle and he stopped by a woman's home and
- 57:30Speaker 8: her husband came home and caught them having sex. They
- 57:35Speaker 8: got into a fight in the front yard and a
- 57:37Speaker 8: lady called the cops. My husband had weed on him,
- 57:41Speaker 8: so he got arrested. I didn't even know he smoked weeds.
- 57:46Speaker 8: He got fired for having the marijuana in a company vehicle.
- 57:49Speaker 8: I went to the jail to bail him out, but
- 57:52Speaker 8: I heard what had happened, so I left him there.
- 57:55Speaker 8: He got out the next day and all of his
- 57:57Speaker 8: clothes and personal belongings were packed up in his car,
- 58:01Speaker 8: and I put the car on the street.
- 58:03Speaker 11: I told him to leave and never come back.
- 58:05Speaker 8: When I saw him at a divorce mediation, he got
- 58:09Speaker 8: so mad that he admitted to having several women on
- 58:12Speaker 8: the side. How could he ruin my life like this?
- 58:15Speaker 8: Will I ever be able to trust a man again?
- 58:18Speaker 8: Please advise, listen, let me tell you something. You should
- 58:22Speaker 8: be thanking God right now that you got out of
- 58:25Speaker 8: this mess, and that God got you out of this mess.
- 58:28Speaker 8: This marriage was a disaster from beginning to end. You
- 58:32Speaker 8: said in the letter you didn't want him in the
- 58:34Speaker 8: first place. You knew up until your wedding day that
- 58:37Speaker 8: this was the wrong thing to do, and you're right.
- 58:40Speaker 8: Three to four times a week was putting in work.
- 58:43Speaker 8: So please do not blame yourself. Don't blame yourself. Let's
- 58:47Speaker 8: face it, your husband was stupid. I mean you didn't
- 58:51Speaker 8: know it at the time it was happening, but he
- 58:53Speaker 8: did a lot of stupid stuff. I mean, what gave
- 58:56Speaker 8: him the idea that he could do all this and
- 58:59Speaker 8: never get caught and then get mad and tell you
- 59:01Speaker 8: about it at the divorce mediation to what make you
- 59:04Speaker 8: feel even worse. You know, Well, he did finally get caught,
- 59:08Speaker 8: and that was a good thing for you. I will
- 59:10Speaker 8: say that again. It was like he wanted you to
- 59:14Speaker 8: find out because he really got careless. With the marijuana
- 59:17Speaker 8: in the company vehicle, with being over this married woman's house.
- 59:21Speaker 8: I mean, that was just crazy. It's going to take
- 59:24Speaker 8: a little time. You ask if you'll ever be able
- 59:28Speaker 8: to trust a man again. It'll take a little time.
- 59:30Speaker 8: But I said, go on, get out, you know, get
- 59:32Speaker 8: back out there and date. If you allow yourself to
- 59:35Speaker 8: open up when it comes to the right one, and
- 59:37Speaker 8: when the right one comes along, you can begin to
- 59:41Speaker 8: trust again. But you need to trust yourself first. You
- 59:44Speaker 8: said you had second thoughts and that was an important
- 59:47Speaker 8: sign that you missed. So please don't take your bad
- 59:50Speaker 8: marriage baggage into your new relationship by complaining.
- 59:54Speaker 11: You know, to all the men and comparing.
- 59:56Speaker 8: All the men to your low down husband. This time,
- 1:00:00Speaker 8: you know, just be better at believing and acting on
- 1:00:03Speaker 8: those warning signs, because they are there.
- 1:00:05Speaker 6: Steve he got fired and put out the house. That
- 1:00:10Speaker 6: ain't even what this letter about. Just the worst subject
- 1:00:12Speaker 6: we've ever had, because this ain't got nothing to do
- 1:00:14Speaker 6: with him getting fired or put out the house. This
- 1:00:17Speaker 6: letter is about something totally different, I do, ma'am. He
- 1:00:25Speaker 6: was married for six years to a man that you
- 1:00:27Speaker 6: didn't even want to be with at first, Okay, but
- 1:00:34Speaker 6: he pursued you heavily, and you gave in after he proposed.
- 1:00:38Speaker 6: You waited three years to marry him. I guess it
- 1:00:42Speaker 6: was my tuition, my intuition, because I had second thoughts
- 1:00:48Speaker 6: about getting married all the way up until my wedding day.
- 1:00:53Speaker 6: Oh my god, So your five alarm fire belles alarm,
- 1:00:59Speaker 6: which is your into tuition, has been going off from
- 1:01:03Speaker 6: day one. It went off the entire three years, and
- 1:01:07Speaker 6: it continued to ring, ring, ring, right up until your
- 1:01:11Speaker 6: wedding day. And you ignore it that I told women
- 1:01:14Speaker 6: a long time ago that intuition is real. See. God
- 1:01:19Speaker 6: gives women intuition. And the reason he gives women intuition
- 1:01:24Speaker 6: unlike he gives it to men, is because this women's
- 1:01:27Speaker 6: device that He awarded them to help protect them from
- 1:01:31Speaker 6: the hunter, which is us. So when we come with
- 1:01:35Speaker 6: the hunting with the bait, the games, the traps, and
- 1:01:39Speaker 6: sometimes the lies. Your bells and alarm clock that goes
- 1:01:43Speaker 6: off is called your intuition. It goes off to alert
- 1:01:47Speaker 6: you danger. Danger. Now, if you ignore that, then we
- 1:01:53Speaker 6: have this letter. Look on back on things. The signs
- 1:01:57Speaker 6: was there and he was a cheater. It was all there.
- 1:02:00Speaker 6: Sex three four times a week. I was in there.
- 1:02:01Speaker 6: I have enough thank that is satisfying. But when it
- 1:02:04Speaker 6: was in the bathroom, he kill He locked the door.
- 1:02:06Speaker 6: He'd be in a shower a long time. His phone
- 1:02:08Speaker 6: was always in his hand, his pocket. He stopped wearing
- 1:02:11Speaker 6: his wedding ring. Told you he didn't want to damage
- 1:02:14Speaker 6: it at worked. Wow, famous people don't have to wear
- 1:02:18Speaker 6: wedding rings. Everybody know we married regular people. You gotta
- 1:02:22Speaker 6: put that damn ring on. You can't go nowhere talking
- 1:02:25Speaker 6: about you. You ain't because you because you're gonna use
- 1:02:27Speaker 6: that as the lat When we come back, I'll continue this.
- 1:02:31Speaker 6: This is not an enjoyable letter, though. I want you
- 1:02:34Speaker 6: to know that this is not an enjoyable letter for you.
- 1:02:38Speaker 6: See I'm having a great time though.
- 1:02:39Speaker 8: Read We'll have part two of your response coming up
- 1:02:42Speaker 8: at twenty three minutes after the hour. The subject he
- 1:02:46Speaker 8: got fired and put out of the house. We'll get
- 1:02:48Speaker 8: back into it right after this.
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:02:55Speaker 8: Join the Saint Jude Family and become a monthly donor.
- 1:02:58Speaker 8: When you do, you'll get a this shirt Saved Lives
- 1:03:00Speaker 8: T shirt and limited edition Saint Jude Susher text SHMS
- 1:03:04Speaker 8: just seven eight five eight three three to help kids
- 1:03:06Speaker 8: at Saint Jude fight cancer. That is SHMS two seven
- 1:03:09Speaker 8: eight five eight three three. All right, come on, Steve,
- 1:03:12Speaker 8: Let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:03:15Speaker 11: The subject is he got fired and put out of
- 1:03:18Speaker 11: the house. A title subject you don't like, yeah.
- 1:03:21Speaker 6: Because it has nothing to do with the letter. This
- 1:03:23Speaker 6: letter is about a woman who ignored her intuition. She's
- 1:03:27Speaker 6: with this guy for six years, but the whole time
- 1:03:30Speaker 6: he has to the marriage. She thought second, She thought
- 1:03:33Speaker 6: about it over and over. She didn't like the idea.
- 1:03:36Speaker 6: He pursued he heavily for three years. He didn't marry
- 1:03:39Speaker 6: her because she just had a feeling about it. Then
- 1:03:43Speaker 6: I asked you to marriage. She had doubts about this
- 1:03:45Speaker 6: marriage all the way up to the wedding day. Because
- 1:03:48Speaker 6: intuition works, it's God's protective factor that he instilled in
- 1:03:52Speaker 6: all women. It's called women's intuition. You all have it
- 1:03:55Speaker 6: much much sharper and better than men, and it protects
- 1:03:58Speaker 6: you from the game that traps in sometimes the lies.
- 1:04:02Speaker 6: You have to not ignore the intuition. But she says
- 1:04:07Speaker 6: she always knew he was a cheetishis the signs were there.
- 1:04:10Speaker 6: They was having sex before times. We thought that was satisfying.
- 1:04:13Speaker 6: But he go in the bathroom, locked the door, be
- 1:04:15Speaker 6: in the shower, long time, phone in his hands, and
- 1:04:18Speaker 6: didn't wear his ring at work. Didn't want to damage you. Then,
- 1:04:22Speaker 6: she says, but I found out he lies about everything.
- 1:04:24Speaker 6: Here's what happened. He works as a logistics supervisor. This
- 1:04:29Speaker 6: is important because if you're a logistics supervisor, that means
- 1:04:34Speaker 6: you should be good at logistics. That's what it symbolizes.
- 1:04:42Speaker 6: Let me show you why he ain't got the job
- 1:04:44Speaker 6: no more, because then the letter says he got fired
- 1:04:47Speaker 6: and put out the house. And let me tell you
- 1:04:49Speaker 6: why because he don't know nothing about no damn logistics.
- 1:04:53Speaker 6: And so here's what happened. He works for a delivery service.
- 1:04:59Speaker 6: A driver didn't show up, so he had to cover
- 1:05:01Speaker 6: the delivery route himself. He was driving a company vehicle
- 1:05:05Speaker 6: and he stopped. Here we go by a woman's home
- 1:05:10Speaker 6: and her husband came home and caught them having sex.
- 1:05:14Speaker 6: Where is the logistics in that, right?
- 1:05:18Speaker 5: Right?
- 1:05:19Speaker 10: Dude?
- 1:05:20Speaker 6: I don't understand you going by another man's house to
- 1:05:26Speaker 6: have sex with his wife. Man, where your room? Well,
- 1:05:30Speaker 6: you got to get control of something. The logistics is
- 1:05:34Speaker 6: off right here. Now a husband come in and all
- 1:05:37Speaker 6: hell break loose. So guess what they got into a
- 1:05:41Speaker 6: fight in the front yard. Bro. First of all, you're
- 1:05:46Speaker 6: not leaving that bed though. Secondly, you're naked. It's hard
- 1:05:50Speaker 6: to fight naked. I'm not giving you time to dress.
- 1:05:54Speaker 6: Ain't none of this shit right? But they fighting so
- 1:05:58Speaker 6: hard in the front yard. I mean, y'all, they bugging
- 1:06:01Speaker 6: so hard. This woman called the police. Let me tell
- 1:06:06Speaker 6: you something. Do you know it take a police at
- 1:06:09Speaker 6: least a few minutes. Even in the best of neighborhoods,
- 1:06:13Speaker 6: it's a three to five minute response time. I don't
- 1:06:16Speaker 6: know where they at, but let's just say they in
- 1:06:18Speaker 6: a great neighborhood. Response times three to five minutes. Five
- 1:06:23Speaker 6: minutes an ass woman. That's a long ass fight. Though.
- 1:06:26Speaker 6: They fighting so hard that the police come and your
- 1:06:30Speaker 6: husband had weed on him, so he got arrested. I
- 1:06:35Speaker 6: didn't even know he smoked weed. What do you have COVID?
- 1:06:39Speaker 6: You can't smell? Goodness? What did you come on?
- 1:06:44Speaker 11: Stop it?
- 1:06:45Speaker 6: You got to be having COVID? How the hell you
- 1:06:48Speaker 6: can't tell somebody been smoking weed. I don't smoke weed,
- 1:06:52Speaker 6: but I know what weed smell like. Yeah, he got
- 1:06:56Speaker 6: fired for having the marijuana in a company vehll What
- 1:07:02Speaker 6: where's the logistics in this? I went to the jail
- 1:07:06Speaker 6: to bail him out, but I heard what had happened,
- 1:07:09Speaker 6: so I left him there. So you went to jail
- 1:07:11Speaker 6: to Bailly baby, I got to get out. They found
- 1:07:12Speaker 6: some weed in the car, but you got out there.
- 1:07:15Speaker 6: So you got to ask the police as you offer
- 1:07:17Speaker 6: a bail, what is he being charged with disorderly conduct? Fighting?
- 1:07:24Speaker 6: Domestic violence? What is domestic violence? Well, he was at
- 1:07:29Speaker 6: a woman's house and her husband came home and they
- 1:07:32Speaker 6: was fighting him. Yet why was he fighting my husband? Well,
- 1:07:36Speaker 6: because he came home early and he was over there.
- 1:07:39Speaker 6: My husband is a logistics supervisor. Where's the logistics in this?
- 1:07:45Speaker 6: But that's because he ain't got no business, damn supervisors.
- 1:07:49Speaker 6: He got out the next day and all his clothes
- 1:07:51Speaker 6: and personal belongings were packed in his car, and I
- 1:07:53Speaker 6: put the car on the street. I told him to
- 1:07:56Speaker 6: leave and never come back. When I saw him at
- 1:07:58Speaker 6: the divorce mediation, he got so mad that he admitted
- 1:08:01Speaker 6: to having several women on the side. Where is the
- 1:08:04Speaker 6: logistics in that you already in here losing dog? Now
- 1:08:09Speaker 6: you coming in here to make sure you lose? How
- 1:08:12Speaker 6: could he ruin my life like this? Your life isn't ruined,
- 1:08:18Speaker 6: Your life has been saved.
- 1:08:20Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:08:22Speaker 6: The breakup is often the blessing. Now you're no longer
- 1:08:28Speaker 6: married to a Cheatah, Will I ever be able to
- 1:08:31Speaker 6: trust a man again? You won't be able to trust
- 1:08:35Speaker 6: him again, But you can trust a man again. The
- 1:08:41Speaker 6: man that walked in and his wife was having sex?
- 1:08:43Speaker 6: Will he be able to trust a woman again? I
- 1:08:45Speaker 6: bet you he will so after he got arrested in
- 1:08:50Speaker 6: everything and all this here, man, he got fired from
- 1:08:53Speaker 6: his job and all like that.
- 1:08:54Speaker 12: And just.
- 1:08:57Speaker 6: Please advise, lady, the breakup is blessed. You can't trust
- 1:09:01Speaker 6: him again, But you can't. But this dude consistently makes
- 1:09:05Speaker 6: stupid mistakes. And now you're away from him, and you
- 1:09:07Speaker 6: don't have to be a part of the stupid mistakes.
- 1:09:10Speaker 6: It don't make no sense what he did. He's not
- 1:09:12Speaker 6: a logical thinking person. So he's no longer the logistics supervisor.
- 1:09:18Speaker 6: And now you are free. Congratulations, go do you all right?

- 1:10:11Speaker 8: So tell us why it's so important to support Saint
- 1:10:14Speaker 8: Jude and donate today, Junior.
- 1:10:16Speaker 12: You know, shortly back in nineteen eighty five, I was
- 1:10:18Speaker 12: diagnosed with sickle cell disease. I was seven years old,
- 1:10:22Speaker 12: and my parents didn't know what to do. They had
- 1:10:24Speaker 12: no idea what they was gonna do as parents, they
- 1:10:26Speaker 12: had no idea how they was gonna take They didnt
- 1:10:27Speaker 12: understand what that meant. They didn't have no idea what
- 1:10:30Speaker 12: that was gonna be. Like, well, thank God for Saint
- 1:10:32Speaker 12: Jude because today if you find out your child has
- 1:10:35Speaker 12: sickle self disease, now Saint Jud's know exactly what to do.
- 1:10:38Speaker 12: And that is the they have the greatest, largest of
- 1:10:40Speaker 12: people they take care of is at Saint Jude. The
- 1:10:43Speaker 12: largest in referenceicle cell patients. Nine hundred a year come
- 1:10:46Speaker 12: out of Saint Jude. And with the great part about
- 1:10:48Speaker 12: it this no bill. You don't have to worry about
- 1:10:51Speaker 12: your food, your housing, your travel, none of that.
- 1:10:54Speaker 6: That is what they do.
- 1:10:55Speaker 12: They have the best doctors, best researchers, the best nurses,
- 1:10:58Speaker 12: the best care. Not to worry about any of that
- 1:11:01Speaker 12: saved you and that's why it's so important to understand
- 1:11:03Speaker 12: that that you know, you have an idea of what
- 1:11:04Speaker 12: your life is gonna look like. Because the whole goal
- 1:11:06Speaker 12: for six self patients is a better quality of life.
- 1:11:09Speaker 6: That's a whole goal, have a.
- 1:11:11Speaker 12: Better quality of life. There was no more life when
- 1:11:13Speaker 12: I was. When I came up, they tell me, Hey,
- 1:11:15Speaker 12: don't even prepare his life. He's not gonna live past
- 1:11:17Speaker 12: eleven years old.
- 1:11:18Speaker 6: That's it. Eleven, that's it. Don't even get ready to heartbreaking.
- 1:11:22Speaker 3: Yeah, how old are you now?

- 1:11:37Speaker 6: It was right about that. You weren't gonna get eleven.
- 1:11:40Speaker 6: He sound eleven? That is true. I mean I praised
- 1:11:45Speaker 6: God for his life, but them doctors nailed it at it.
- 1:11:50Speaker 6: That's exactly how he's saying. He hadn't know God was
- 1:11:54Speaker 6: gonna be with him in great life, but his voice
- 1:11:57Speaker 6: stopped the veiling. It stopped that eleven. Just God just
- 1:12:01Speaker 6: kept his life on. Hey body, amazing what medical people?

- 1:13:43Speaker 8: in his house while we look for a new house.
- 1:13:45Speaker 8: I got home from work and my husband's ex wife
- 1:13:48Speaker 8: was sitting in his pickup truck. She said she came
- 1:13:51Speaker 8: to get her Christmas tree out of the attic. I
- 1:13:54Speaker 8: asked my husband, why is his ex wife's tree still
- 1:13:57Speaker 8: in my attic? He said, it's his adam and there's
- 1:14:01Speaker 8: other stuff in there that belongs to his ex wife,
- 1:14:03Speaker 8: and it's fine with him because it's his attic. His
- 1:14:07Speaker 8: ex wife told him that was rude, and she apologized
- 1:14:10Speaker 8: to me. He has not apologized. Why did he go
- 1:14:13Speaker 8: off on me like that in front of her?
- 1:14:16Speaker 6: Because he's stupid about him? Dum as your ass can be,
- 1:14:22Speaker 6: though you do not defend the X to the current

- 1:14:37Speaker 6: branches all in the neighbors y'all trying to find that
- 1:14:40Speaker 6: stick and everything. Where's the stand at Steve, it's on
- 1:14:44Speaker 6: top of the garage. How far that's where it is. Yeah,
- 1:14:48Speaker 6: I don't I don't know why. He and she apologized, Well,

- 1:15:00Speaker 6: that's my Yeah, you know, but he's so dumb. He
- 1:15:05Speaker 6: trying to flex in front of it. X. That's like
- 1:15:08Speaker 6: he got it, but that that flex ain't gonna caught.
- 1:15:12Speaker 11: Yeah, that is ego get in a way.

- 1:15:38Speaker 11: Yeah, all right, we have time for another one.
- 1:15:41Speaker 6: Steve.
- 1:15:42Speaker 11: This is from Dynasty in Greenville.
- 1:15:44Speaker 8: Dynasty says, I've been with the same man for going
- 1:15:46Speaker 8: on four years, and he's been sneaking and wearing protection
- 1:15:50Speaker 8: while we're intimate.
- 1:15:52Speaker 11: I asked him why.
- 1:15:53Speaker 8: He's doing that, and he said because he doesn't want
- 1:15:56Speaker 8: to have children. He said, he doesn't want children. Even
- 1:15:59Speaker 8: if we get marriage. He's wasting my time because I
- 1:16:02Speaker 8: want at least one child. I love him too much
- 1:16:05Speaker 8: to leave him. Do you think he'll ever change his mind?
- 1:16:09Speaker 11: Oh, well, he just.
- 1:16:11Speaker 6: Told you he wants to kids.
- 1:16:13Speaker 11: Leave him.
- 1:16:14Speaker 6: He been sneaking wearing protection. How you sneaking do that?
- 1:16:17Speaker 6: How you sneak.
- 1:16:20Speaker 15: It?
- 1:16:20Speaker 6: Bite that wrappo top off? How you sneak and stand
- 1:16:24Speaker 6: there and put it on? How you sneak and do that?
- 1:16:27Speaker 6: What is how you do that? She don't see that.
- 1:16:31Speaker 6: That's several moves to get that thing working. That's fourteen
- 1:16:35Speaker 6: seconds at least at least that's if everything go right. Yeah, wow,
- 1:16:44Speaker 6: he got to start over? Man cold everybody? Whoo if
- 1:16:48Speaker 6: you put if you reverse, Okay, you got the start over.
- 1:16:52Speaker 6: Now you have messed it up.
- 1:16:54Speaker 8: But this is dangerous though, because she really thinks that
- 1:16:57Speaker 8: there's a possibility he could change his mind. There is
- 1:17:00Speaker 8: a possibility, but he's already told her he doesn't want kids.
- 1:17:04Speaker 6: Why do women not hear that? Ladies, we can change. Change.
- 1:17:11Speaker 3: Always think that.
- 1:17:13Speaker 6: That we will change for some women, But it's only
- 1:17:18Speaker 6: one that we will change for the rest of You
- 1:17:20Speaker 6: get what it is, and right now you're getting what
- 1:17:23Speaker 6: it is. Yeah, you say too much to leave him,
- 1:17:27Speaker 6: but he might not love you enough not to leave
- 1:17:29Speaker 6: you that and it's four years, and so what listen
- 1:17:34Speaker 6: what this man is saying. Women have a biological clock,
- 1:17:38Speaker 6: men have a financial clock. He may not be able
- 1:17:41Speaker 6: to see himself with a kid right now because he
