- 2:01Speaker 1: uh huh, I shore will a good morning everybody. You're
- 2:05Speaker 1: listening to the voice, Come on dig me na wanted
- 2:09Speaker 1: only Steve Harvey got a radio show. I gotta tweet
- 2:13Speaker 1: the other day. When Steve Harvey used to get the preaching,
- 2:18Speaker 1: I used to just turn the radio off. But Noah's different,
- 2:24Speaker 1: old dude be bringing it. He'd be bringing the truth.
- 2:28Speaker 1: I appreciate that, you know. Man, When I was younger, Man,
- 2:31Speaker 1: when I when I wanted to do what I wanted
- 2:33Speaker 1: to do, Man, I just man, I didn't want to
- 2:36Speaker 1: hear nothing else. I didn't want to hear nothing that
- 2:38Speaker 1: contradicted what I wanted to do. You know. So it's
- 2:42Speaker 1: a funny thing man about me. Man I was I
- 2:44Speaker 1: would hear the truth, I would know it to be
- 2:47Speaker 1: the truth. But because I had another plan, another mission,
- 2:50Speaker 1: another goal, another set of dudes. I wanted to get done.
- 2:54Speaker 1: I didn't want to hear that. You know, it's a
- 2:57Speaker 1: funny thing, man, It's like it's like when I was
- 3:00Speaker 1: a little boy and I used to get scared sometime
- 3:02Speaker 1: at night, you know, the booger man. So I thought
- 3:05Speaker 1: that if I just pulled the blanket up over my head,
- 3:08Speaker 1: that that meant that if I can't see the booger man,
- 3:11Speaker 1: he can't see me. That's the theory. That's an ostrich,
- 3:15Speaker 1: you know, sticking his head in the sand, thinking wow,
- 3:19Speaker 1: if I don't see this dude, he can't see me.
- 3:22Speaker 1: A lot of Ostriches didn't die with their head stuck
- 3:24Speaker 1: in the sand. I just didn't want to be one
- 3:27Speaker 1: of the people that left this world with my head
- 3:29Speaker 1: in the sand. But I just wanted to say, man,
- 3:34Speaker 1: this morning, that quit talking about change. Y'all listening, because
- 3:43Speaker 1: because because this is real right here, quit talking about change,
- 3:49Speaker 1: and let's make a change. You know, man, I don't
- 3:53Speaker 1: I don't mind giving people advice. I really, I really
- 3:55Speaker 1: really don't, because so many people along the way have
- 3:59Speaker 1: handed it to me freely. Man. Some people just saw
- 4:02Speaker 1: me doing wrong and say, young man, come here, let
- 4:04Speaker 1: me talk to you for a minute. Some people say, hey, bro,
- 4:07Speaker 1: look man, I know what you're trying to do it. Man,
- 4:09Speaker 1: when have you thought about it this way? So I've
- 4:13Speaker 1: had a lot of favor in my life, a lot
- 4:16Speaker 1: of grace been shown on me, a lot of mercy,
- 4:18Speaker 1: A lot of people and came to me, helped me
- 4:20Speaker 1: a long way. So I don't have no problem with
- 4:22Speaker 1: this part of what I'm what I'm obligated to do
- 4:24Speaker 1: in the mornings. But let's quit talking about change, y'all,
- 4:28Speaker 1: and let's make a change. She changed its growth, and
- 4:32Speaker 1: it ain't no growth without change. You got people, Man,
- 4:36Speaker 1: You ever met a person that's just insistent on doing
- 4:40Speaker 1: it they way? I mean, no body in the building
- 4:43Speaker 1: think they should go that way. But they're so bone headed.
- 4:48Speaker 1: Oh this is how I'm gonna do it. But bro,
- 4:50Speaker 1: listen to me. Man, that ain't high as done. You're
- 4:53Speaker 1: gonna run into this distance. I'll show you. Hey a minute, man,
- 4:58Speaker 1: you can't do it that way. Man, If you are
- 5:01Speaker 1: sick and tired of where you are, then you have
- 5:03Speaker 1: to change. Change can only come from within. Can nobody
- 5:08Speaker 1: make you change? Now, we got a penal system in
- 5:11Speaker 1: place that can make you sit down. If you don't
- 5:14Speaker 1: want to change, we'll sit you down, and we'll restrict
- 5:18Speaker 1: your movement and your communication to the point where if
- 5:21Speaker 1: you want to continue this foolishness, we're gonna put you
- 5:24Speaker 1: in this building with a whole lot of people. That's foolishness,
- 5:27Speaker 1: and y'all just trick each other all day long. But
- 5:30Speaker 1: if you are sick and tired of your situation, pray
- 5:34Speaker 1: for it. Pray for change, Ask God to help you change.
- 5:39Speaker 1: Ask God what he wants for you instead of always
- 5:42Speaker 1: telling God what you want. It's an interesting prayer to
- 5:46Speaker 1: have with God. When you quit going to God with
- 5:50Speaker 1: your list and check in with God and see what
- 5:53Speaker 1: his list is. That's a very interesting prayer. If you're
- 5:57Speaker 1: a praying person, I suggest you try that sometime. It's
- 6:00Speaker 1: so interesting. Man, do you know what he did for
- 6:03Speaker 1: me when I started asking God what he wanted for me?
- 6:06Speaker 1: Instead of telling God all the time. I still tell
- 6:08Speaker 1: him what I want, but instead of all the time
- 6:11Speaker 1: going to Him with what I want. You know what
- 6:13Speaker 1: it did for me. It freed me up. It took
- 6:16Speaker 1: a lot of pressure off. I no longer had to
- 6:19Speaker 1: think of everything, and what I was thinking of a
- 6:21Speaker 1: lot of times wasn't working no way. And when I
- 6:24Speaker 1: opened myself up to what he wanted to what his
- 6:27Speaker 1: wheel was, Man, do you know how much simpler my
- 6:30Speaker 1: life got? And do you know how much bigger it got?
- 6:33Speaker 1: I'm trying to tell you, man, if you pray for
- 6:35Speaker 1: change and you allow God to help you with the change,
- 6:39Speaker 1: or if you let God just produce the change, the changing,
- 6:42Speaker 1: you would be amazing. If you've been listening to me,
- 6:45Speaker 1: especially out in La since I was on the radio
- 6:48Speaker 1: since two thousand, can't you hear the change? I'm flat
- 6:53Speaker 1: out telling you that a change has come. But I
- 6:57Speaker 1: had to pray for the change because I couldn't make
- 6:59Speaker 1: the change on my own. And then after you pray
- 7:02Speaker 1: for the change, you gotta work towards your trade change.
- 7:05Speaker 1: You know it as a faith without works is dead.
- 7:08Speaker 1: Everybody wants something from God, always want to talk to
- 7:11Speaker 1: God about something. But then man, ain't ain't, don't, don't
- 7:15Speaker 1: want to do nothing about it. Faith without works is dead.
- 7:19Speaker 1: You can't do it that way, man, it just does
- 7:22Speaker 1: not happen. So so after you didn't pray to God
- 7:25Speaker 1: about it, what you gotta do. Then is you gotta
- 7:28Speaker 1: turn around and go hey, man, all right, now what
- 7:30Speaker 1: is it I got to do? You know, you got
- 7:33Speaker 1: to do something to bring it about. So after you
- 7:37Speaker 1: pray for it, work for it, and do something today
- 7:40Speaker 1: about it. Stop procrastinating. Don't procrastinate, folks. The change can
- 7:46Speaker 1: start today. Man, I want to change. How about today?
- 7:51Speaker 1: You know, then you see them same people, Man, I
- 7:53Speaker 1: want to change. That's next week. How about today? I
- 7:57Speaker 1: see people years later, Man, I see in the same
- 8:00Speaker 1: old situation. Man, I'm gonna do so how about today?
- 8:04Speaker 1: Today is a good day. There's nothing stopping you from
- 8:08Speaker 1: changing today, nothing except you. You can begin the process
- 8:13Speaker 1: of change immediately. And change is growth, y'all. And ain't
- 8:17Speaker 1: no growth without changing. It's a simple thing. And I'm
- 8:21Speaker 1: talking to you in broad strokes because everybody got something
- 8:24Speaker 1: about them they need to change. That's why I'm not
- 8:26Speaker 1: specifically talking about anything. I got some things in me
- 8:31Speaker 1: didn't need to change so I can grow further. Everybody
- 8:35Speaker 1: has something about them that they need to change in
- 8:39Speaker 1: order to grow further and then go further. Now, what's
- 8:43Speaker 1: stopping you is you won't start the change today. Don't
- 8:46Speaker 1: hesitate make that change and then I want you to
- 8:50Speaker 1: watch something. When you change, Watch the difference in you,
- 8:54Speaker 1: Notice the difference in you, feel the difference in you,
- 8:57Speaker 1: and guess what you're gonna be different. If you're watching
- 9:01Speaker 1: for the change, if you're feeling the change, then guess
- 9:04Speaker 1: what you're gonna be different. Man, Watch for the difference,
- 9:08Speaker 1: feel the difference. You will be different. If you're sick
- 9:11Speaker 1: and tired of your situation, folks, you can change that.
- 9:15Speaker 1: But the change is in you. It's a simple decision
- 9:17Speaker 1: you had to make. I'm gonna change. The change is
- 9:20Speaker 1: up to you. You can decide to day if you
- 9:23Speaker 1: want to change, you want to be different. If you're
- 9:25Speaker 1: sitting behind the wall, I love speaking to the brothers
- 9:28Speaker 1: and sisters behind the wall. If you're behind the wall, man,
- 9:31Speaker 1: and you're sick and tired of being behind the wall, man,
- 9:33Speaker 1: why don't you change? You've thought about that? Change? Man.
- 9:37Speaker 1: If I get back out there, I'm gonna just do
- 9:39Speaker 1: the same thing. Stop saying that. Stop breathing that negativity
- 9:42Speaker 1: into your life. Decide today that you want to change.
- 9:45Speaker 1: You can do it. Everybody can change. If you don't
- 9:48Speaker 1: know how to change, pray for it, man, Ask God
- 9:50Speaker 1: to help you with the change, or you get some movement,
- 9:53Speaker 1: then partner, you get a whole lot of movement. Then
- 9:55Speaker 1: all right, let's ride. You're listening show, ladies and gentlemen,
- 10:03Speaker 1: it is here. It's morning time. It's gratitude time. It's
- 10:08Speaker 1: attitude time, it's altitude time. If you add thanksgiving to
- 10:14Speaker 1: those that one thing, gratitude, it changes your attitude, which
- 10:19Speaker 1: directly affects your altitude. Period. That's it. That's it. It's
- 10:25Speaker 1: a fact. Doesn't matter if you believe in it or
- 10:27Speaker 1: adhere to it. It's just facts. Start being grateful and
- 10:31Speaker 1: watch what happened. So today I'm grateful. I invite you
- 10:35Speaker 1: to do the same. Let's get it on, Shirley Strawberry
- 10:38Speaker 1: call it for real, Junior, Mississippi Monica. Tommy's out today, Junior,
- 10:44Speaker 1: what's on your mind? You know what? Uncles, let's say
- 10:46Speaker 1: right there with this gratitude. You know, I was thinking
- 10:49Speaker 1: about something, man, I was looking at that like your
- 10:51Speaker 1: whole career and everything. Oh, had it been moments where
- 10:54Speaker 1: you had to be grateful and still walk along when
- 10:56Speaker 1: nobody believed in your dream and your vision? Boy, let
- 11:00Speaker 1: me speak on behalf of everybody that has ever wanted
- 11:04Speaker 1: to be in by anybody. Trying to convince everybody that
- 11:10Speaker 1: you might one day be somebody sound like old Church.
- 11:15Speaker 1: So I'm just a nobody trying to tell live everybody,
- 11:25Speaker 1: oh about somebody that can save anybody. I'm just a
- 11:35Speaker 1: new body trying to tell everybody about somebody looking saveing anybody.
- 11:51Speaker 1: And yeah, man, you're gonna go through moments like that
- 11:54Speaker 1: where you feel alone and difficult, and you're gonna have
- 11:57Speaker 1: to try to find the motivation that keeps you moving
- 12:00Speaker 1: when there ain't none surrounding you. It's a lot of
- 12:04Speaker 1: days like that. That's one of the things that make
- 12:06Speaker 1: being successful so hard. It's hard to find a support
- 12:12Speaker 1: on your way to be successful because what happens is
- 12:16Speaker 1: so many people you've been close to ain't gonna be
- 12:19Speaker 1: on that same success journey you own, and they just
- 12:23Speaker 1: not gonna understand this different you that can showed up
- 12:26Speaker 1: all of a sudden, and then you get pushed back.
- 12:29Speaker 1: And it's strange how it comes from family and friends,
- 12:35Speaker 1: which makes you feel even more isolated. So yeah, man,
- 12:39Speaker 1: it happens to us all. It's a part of the
- 12:42Speaker 1: success progress. That's why it's imperative that you have relationship
- 12:47Speaker 1: with God, because he is the one force that is
- 12:50Speaker 1: steady and consistent. He never changes. Your old people say,
- 12:54Speaker 1: hold on the God's unchanging hand because it don't change. Though.
- 12:58Speaker 1: He don't move. He don't wait solid man, he's solid.
- 13:02Speaker 1: He that in the clutch, in the crunch. When the
- 13:05Speaker 1: five storm start, he did do man, when the sunday outside,
- 13:09Speaker 1: he did say, what you need I get back to you.
- 13:14Speaker 1: His answer is, I got whatever you need just asked
- 13:19Speaker 1: me for Bring your burdens to me and leave it
- 13:22Speaker 1: there regardless. That's what you anybody say when you take
- 13:26Speaker 1: him to God, you leave it right there. He don't
- 13:28Speaker 1: give it back. He just don't do that. Show glad
- 13:33Speaker 1: he don't love him. Mercy. All right, great question, great
- 13:37Speaker 1: answer to all right, coming up at thirty two minutes
- 13:40Speaker 1: after the hour, we'll run that prank back with Junior
- 13:43Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening all right now. The nephew
- 13:49Speaker 1: is out today, but it is time to start your
- 13:51Speaker 1: morning off. Anyway, would run that prank back. Junior is
- 13:54Speaker 1: in for the nephew. What you got, Junior? Your wife
- 13:58Speaker 1: gave me this disease, say yo, wife, that he me
- 14:05Speaker 1: a disease. Running again. Hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach out.
- 14:11Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach Dante. Yeah this is who this? Hey?
- 14:14Speaker 1: How you doing? Man? Um? Just to be certain your
- 14:17Speaker 1: Dante is married to Tammy? Right? Yeah? Okay? Cool? Cool?
- 14:21Speaker 1: So listen, man, Uh so you heard about me, you know,
- 14:25Speaker 1: maybe heard my name before because I used to day
- 14:28Speaker 1: Tammy way before you guys got married. You know, my
- 14:31Speaker 1: name is Marcella. So I just want to call and
- 14:32Speaker 1: say how are you doing? But I need to say okay, yeah,
- 14:36Speaker 1: I know she mentioned you mentioned y'all used to be
- 14:38Speaker 1: together before we Yeah, okay, I've heard about you. What's um,
- 14:43Speaker 1: what's the phone call for? I needed to talk to you, man,
- 14:47Speaker 1: And I've been holding this back at least four years.
- 14:51Speaker 1: You know, I haven't said anything. And you know I
- 14:54Speaker 1: can't hold it no more. Man. I'm going through so
- 14:55Speaker 1: many issues right now. I just gotta I gotta get
- 14:58Speaker 1: this thing. I gotta get the grips on this thing
- 15:01Speaker 1: that I'm going through. But you know, I wanted to
- 15:03Speaker 1: come to you, man, to man, talk to you about
- 15:05Speaker 1: this situation. You know, I hate to bring it to
- 15:08Speaker 1: you like this, but when me and Tammy were together,
- 15:13Speaker 1: I don't even gonna say when we were together, Tammy
- 15:16Speaker 1: gave me a disease. Man, So you know I've been
- 15:21Speaker 1: holding this, you know, And I gotta say I wanted
- 15:23Speaker 1: to hit you up. I thought about it two years ago.
- 15:27Speaker 1: I wanted. But like, what do you mean, like she
- 15:30Speaker 1: gave you a disease? She gave me a disease about
- 15:33Speaker 1: four plus years ago, this way before y'all got married.
- 15:36Speaker 1: I'm from understanding y'all been married about three years, right, yeah,
- 15:40Speaker 1: oh my god. Okay, okay, and you're calling me, you're
- 15:45Speaker 1: calling me. It gives me the heads up. Ah, man,
- 15:48Speaker 1: I'm calling because dude, these there, the medical bills and
- 15:53Speaker 1: all this that's just completely out of control. I can't
- 15:55Speaker 1: even you know, I can't take care of myself no
- 15:58Speaker 1: more with this, you know. And I don't feel like
- 16:00Speaker 1: I have to because she the one that gave me
- 16:02Speaker 1: to day to see. Okay, So you're calling because you
- 16:06Speaker 1: want you want me to pay for you want you
- 16:08Speaker 1: want us to pay for your medical bills. The dude, Like,
- 16:12Speaker 1: I mean, damn, dude, I mean put yourself in my position, mare,
- 16:15Speaker 1: I mean what some brothers post with you? You know,
- 16:17Speaker 1: I'm sitting over here with the disease. Somebody gave me,
- 16:20Speaker 1: and you know they're going on what they like. Boh yeah,
- 16:23Speaker 1: but this is so you're calling me telling me my
- 16:26Speaker 1: wife gave you a disease. First of all, she would
- 16:28Speaker 1: have told me that. Secondly, now you're telling me like
- 16:32Speaker 1: I might have some. You gotta be kidding me, Well,
- 16:35Speaker 1: what did she give you? What disease are you talking about? Man?
- 16:38Speaker 1: At this point, you know, I don't even want to
- 16:41Speaker 1: discuss it. I just want to get on board. Let's
- 16:43Speaker 1: can we get some kind of understanding with the medical
- 16:46Speaker 1: fields that I can't inside of control. Man, I'm not paying, Okay,
- 16:49Speaker 1: I'm not gonna pay for your medical bills, especially when
- 16:52Speaker 1: I don't even know what those do you mean what
- 16:55Speaker 1: you mean she gave you a disease? Man? I'm over.
- 16:56Speaker 1: You're freaking the out, dude. Dude, I understand, you know, Bro,
- 17:01Speaker 1: I hope you're good. I really you know, But I'm
- 17:04Speaker 1: just saying, man, dude, I don't know what to do.
- 17:06Speaker 1: No mom, Man, I really don't you know, like I, oh, hey, yo, yo,
- 17:09Speaker 1: you need call me all right? You you talking in circles.
- 17:13Speaker 1: You're telling me something you have you caught four or
- 17:15Speaker 1: five years ago. Well, what is it? Some it's so uncheerable.
- 17:19Speaker 1: What the disease are you talking about? Man, Dude, I'm
- 17:22Speaker 1: all I'm trying, dude, with regardless of what it is,
- 17:25Speaker 1: I'm trying to handle the medical fields on it, man,
- 17:28Speaker 1: That's what I'm trying to do, Dude, Moore, kind of
- 17:30Speaker 1: medical bills could you have for some you caught for
- 17:33Speaker 1: years ago, like four years ago, you should have been
- 17:35Speaker 1: able to fix session. What is it? Dude? She gave
- 17:39Speaker 1: me the disease and now I need somebody to play
- 17:41Speaker 1: these damn fields. That's all I'm saying to you. All right,
- 17:45Speaker 1: that's all I'm saying. It's Dante yo. I'm I'm telling
- 17:48Speaker 1: you what I'm telling you. Marcello's quit playing and tell
- 17:51Speaker 1: me what the disease this is. It's march Cellus, man,
- 17:55Speaker 1: It's march Cellus. Okay, I'm telling your name this I'm

- 21:12Speaker 1: a new box office record with Tom Cruise in national news.
- 21:16Speaker 1: The Department of Justice is investigating the Uvalde police response
- 21:21Speaker 1: to the tragic school shooting. We'll talk about all of
- 21:24Speaker 1: these stories at the top of the hour, but right
- 21:26Speaker 1: now it is time or ask the CLO Chief Love Officer,
- 21:30Speaker 1: Steve Harvey standing by and ready for your love questions.
- 21:33Speaker 1: Here we go LaTavia and New York says, I'm a
- 21:37Speaker 1: forty four year old single woman and I haven't had
- 21:40Speaker 1: sex in three years. I recently met a guy and
- 21:44Speaker 1: he said he's willing to wait until I'm ready. But
- 21:47Speaker 1: he's fine as heck, and I don't want to lose him.
- 21:50Speaker 1: I know you always say that men don't take time
- 21:53Speaker 1: off from sex. So is he having sex with someone
- 21:56Speaker 1: else while he's waiting for me? What do you think? Listen? Listen,
- 22:04Speaker 1: you don't want to rode in on. Listen at the
- 22:06Speaker 1: time about you've been single and ain't had sex in
- 22:09Speaker 1: three years? He didn't write us in now you hadn't
- 22:13Speaker 1: met this man and he said he'll weight on you.
- 22:16Speaker 1: Does that mean he have not having said he never
- 22:19Speaker 1: told you he wouldn't having said he said he'll weight
- 22:22Speaker 1: on you. So you're ready. But in the meantime, everybody
- 22:27Speaker 1: else ain't in that line. See you got the I'm
- 22:31Speaker 1: waiting line and you got to come get it line,
- 22:36Speaker 1: and he find us. Heck he not. He not writing
- 22:39Speaker 1: in sweetie. But that's not your business, though, see you
- 22:43Speaker 1: you can't. That's not your business. Listen to me. You're
- 22:49Speaker 1: forty four. You meet a man. I don't care who
- 22:52Speaker 1: you meet. They have a history and the history didn't
- 22:56Speaker 1: stop righting itself when they meet you. So of these
- 23:01Speaker 1: histories are ongoing now he met you. He'll wait on you.
- 23:07Speaker 1: He didn't say he was waiting for sex. He said
- 23:10Speaker 1: he'd wait on you to you ready, that's all he said.
- 23:15Speaker 1: You can't get mad at this man for that. Well, okay, okay,
- 23:20Speaker 1: all right, clo, all right. This one Cllo is from
- 23:25Speaker 1: Nina and Glendale. Nina says, I started working from home
- 23:28Speaker 1: recently and out of boredom and the need for some
- 23:30Speaker 1: extra money, I set up a webcam in my bedroom
- 23:35Speaker 1: for money. The money is pouring in now and it's
- 23:39Speaker 1: easy work. But I'm fifty five years old. So here's
- 23:42Speaker 1: my question. Would it be wise to retire early and
- 23:45Speaker 1: become an entrepreneur in the comfort of my own home? Well?
- 23:51Speaker 1: What did you asking me? Fault. I mean really, Look,
- 23:58Speaker 1: I ain't seen your little videos and now if if
- 24:01Speaker 1: you know, I may throw you into something if I
- 24:04Speaker 1: see the videos. So they don't need to asking me,
- 24:07Speaker 1: because I may be, you know, maybe I prefer something else,
- 24:10Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying, And I may say something
- 24:13Speaker 1: to you that makes the stifle your you know, but
- 24:15Speaker 1: the money rolling in, so somebody, somebody care about it. Deep. Now,
- 24:20Speaker 1: if you want to retire work from the comfort of
- 24:22Speaker 1: your own home, then go ahead. You know, don't ask
- 24:25Speaker 1: me to advise you on stuff like this. You know,
- 24:29Speaker 1: fifty five to wait until you fifty five to be
- 24:31Speaker 1: a pown star. I don't know where that comes from,
- 24:35Speaker 1: you know. I don't know what the regulations are. I
- 24:39Speaker 1: don't know how successful you. I don't know what you
- 24:41Speaker 1: call money pouring in. See, that's another thing to see
- 24:45Speaker 1: money pouring into you. Might be a little bit of
- 24:48Speaker 1: kind of different money pouring into me. Yeah I might.
- 24:52Speaker 1: I might think it's a leak in the damn where
- 24:57Speaker 1: you considered pouring in. Yeah, you know, so we need
- 25:02Speaker 1: to don't ask me nothing else about this for whatever
- 25:05Speaker 1: you want to do. Man, congratulations on your new career move.
- 25:09Speaker 1: It's astonishing. Most people don't get into polling at fifty five,
- 25:14Speaker 1: you know, and I don't know who these people is.
- 25:20Speaker 1: That's just money, just polling in. What is you doing that?
- 25:25Speaker 1: It's just polling in? I think she's in her bedroom alone. Yeah,
- 25:29Speaker 1: that's what I mean. Yeah, you and you got to
- 25:33Speaker 1: be pretty active to hold somebody's attention all by yourself
- 25:37Speaker 1: and money just polling in? What is you in that doing?
- 25:41Speaker 1: Something is in there with you. I don't know if
- 25:43Speaker 1: it's you know, cooking utensils, puppy monkeys, cameraman in there.
- 25:48Speaker 1: I don't know what. You know, you always go to
- 25:52Speaker 1: because the monkeys, monkeys act like people. You can't really
- 25:55Speaker 1: control them, and they're strong. You know, next thing you know,
- 25:58Speaker 1: you they grab your toeing, pull you down off the bed.
- 26:03Speaker 1: What happened to the motto? Because that monkey strength different?
- 26:11Speaker 1: Go ahead, Sherylan. I'm trying all right, justin in a
- 26:13Speaker 1: Chicago says my wife and I have three children, and
- 26:17Speaker 1: the last boy is not my child. I cheated on
- 26:20Speaker 1: her and we got a divorce. During that time, she
- 26:24Speaker 1: got pregnant and the guy deserted her while she was vulnerable.
- 26:29Speaker 1: I got her to remarry me, but I am still
- 26:32Speaker 1: resentful that this child isn't mine. I need to work
- 26:37Speaker 1: on that. So how do I get past this? Wow?
- 26:40Speaker 1: Hold on, Man, hold on? Frankie Beverley has a song
- 26:46Speaker 1: out that says, I know I bought it on myself.
- 26:51Speaker 1: I owe no blame to no one else. And I
- 26:56Speaker 1: realized I can't get over you. Don't you understand that
- 27:02Speaker 1: you bought this on yourself? What are you talking about? Bro?
- 27:07Speaker 1: You cheated on her, Remember which caused you all to
- 27:12Speaker 1: get a divorce. Remember now why y'all was divorced. You
- 27:19Speaker 1: was doing other things too. Remember then the man deserted her.
- 27:25Speaker 1: Remember then you called her in a moment of vulnerability.
- 27:30Speaker 1: Remember now you got her back. Now you resent for
- 27:34Speaker 1: little boy. You got a lot of nerve, though, got
- 27:37Speaker 1: a lot of nerves at a lot of nerve. Dog.
- 27:40Speaker 1: If you go back over there, if you've been just
- 27:42Speaker 1: go back over the things I said. Remember you got
- 27:45Speaker 1: a lot of nerve, dog. And Plus, here's what all
- 27:48Speaker 1: you gotta do is, remember, dog, everybody needs somebody. That
- 27:51Speaker 1: boy needs somebody too. He's been deserted. That's that's your
- 27:56Speaker 1: cross to bear. It's a lot of men that then
- 27:59Speaker 1: took off other unworthy men's crosses. So that's your cross.
- 28:05Speaker 1: Whad like a man and be a man to be
- 28:07Speaker 1: proud of the fact that you a man presenting her
- 28:10Speaker 1: being resentful for the boy. The boy has nothing to
- 28:12Speaker 1: do with it. The boy is a byproduct of your actions.
- 28:19Speaker 1: M M. So now as a byproduct of your actions,
- 28:25Speaker 1: don't you think that comes from consequences with it? So now, Brod,
- 28:30Speaker 1: just do your duty. You're listening hard morning show. In
- 28:36Speaker 1: sports entertainment news, After the Boston Celtics won the Eastern
- 28:40Speaker 1: Conference Finals by beating the Miami Heat on Sunday, Junior

- 29:09Speaker 1: year as head coach. Speechless, patience and purpose, Nia capturing
- 29:15Speaker 1: the photo. So, Junior and Steve, you all talked about

- 30:01Speaker 1: they turned over the little black kids school buses, seting

- 30:08Speaker 1: since I don't give a dam about the Patriots red socks,
- 30:12Speaker 1: none of wait here was this again, seting it Folk? Okay,
- 30:18Speaker 1: turned to black kids school but so the racist asked
- 30:21Speaker 1: people up there, I'm not killing about Boston. Only time
- 30:25Speaker 1: I wanted Boston to ever win anything was when Paul Pierce,
- 30:29Speaker 1: Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett was up there. Then I
- 30:33Speaker 1: was pulling for them because I wanted all three of
- 30:35Speaker 1: them to get a ring, and they got one. Right
- 30:38Speaker 1: after that, We're right on back to hating. Then right
- 30:42Speaker 1: on back because I really ain't got nothing against the
- 30:44Speaker 1: people of Boston. I really don't, you know. Yeah, we
- 30:52Speaker 1: got love alone, but Boston I'm not gonna be happy to.
- 30:55Speaker 1: Ok Yeah, I just need to city Hall to pay

- 31:06Speaker 1: don't want nobody to get hurt City Hall. Then then
- 31:10Speaker 1: I'll be even with her. Okay, I'll be even. But
- 31:14Speaker 1: I need city Hall. It's the only way you turned
- 31:18Speaker 1: the school busover. I want the building down, and then
- 31:22Speaker 1: we'll be even. In Boston. Oh like all I like
- 31:28Speaker 1: walberg Nen, I like all the boys in Boston. Man. Yeah,

- 33:00Speaker 1: her for ownership for her recordings for a long time.
- 33:05Speaker 1: So just like you said, Steve, it's so so cool.

- 34:28Speaker 1: ninety eight nineteen eighty six blockbuster, which has Tom Cruise
- 34:31Speaker 1: reprised his most iconic role as Pete Maverick. Mitchell May
- 34:37Speaker 1: then estimated one hundred and fifty six million dollars domestically
- 34:41Speaker 1: for its four day opening weekend, and that gives the
- 34:43Speaker 1: film the record for the biggest opening over the Memorial
- 34:46Speaker 1: Day holiday weekend, overtaking Pirates of the Caribbean at World's End,
- 34:51Speaker 1: which made only one hundred and fifty three million. Okay,
- 34:54Speaker 1: if you can believe that in two thousand and seven.
- 34:58Speaker 1: All right, So congratu dulations Going up, Yeah to Tom Cruise.
- 35:03Speaker 1: You know I love to do and he looks so great.
- 35:07Speaker 1: He hasn't changed one ounce. All right, coming up in
- 35:10Speaker 1: twenty minutes after the hour. You know, June is Black
- 35:13Speaker 1: Music month, and guess who's here, Roscoe Wallace. Right after
- 35:16Speaker 1: this you're listening to morning show. All right, So June
- 35:23Speaker 1: is Black Music Month, and we all know that the
- 35:25Speaker 1: black music is the music of America. Shirley is right.
- 35:28Speaker 1: June is Black music Month, and we all know that
- 35:32Speaker 1: black music is the music of America. Our very own junior,
- 35:37Speaker 1: Roscoe Wallace, he's in fielding baby every day. Yeah, what's
- 35:44Speaker 1: happened to, Roscoe? This is your month's How are you
- 35:47Speaker 1: gonna have black here's your mode without my black hand?
- 35:51Speaker 1: Black music Month. I'm everything that is black music. I'm
- 35:54Speaker 1: black mutic damn near white music. I'm everything with going
- 36:00Speaker 1: on everybody. Robert Waller in the building, baby, yeah, bring
- 36:04Speaker 1: you all. Oh, I'm just hitting clear the out. You
- 36:07Speaker 1: don't bring all the facts out. You everybody know what
- 36:09Speaker 1: it is, what it is, so so no nobody think
- 36:12Speaker 1: it ain't horn It ain't. You know that. How's your
- 36:16Speaker 1: copyright trial we have? Oh it took a little bit,
- 36:20Speaker 1: turned on me, turned on me. Oh they wouldn't got
- 36:23Speaker 1: a bunch of white folk and oh, you know they
- 36:27Speaker 1: know each other. They played golf together. You know, they
- 36:30Speaker 1: were all down at the country club with my case
- 36:33Speaker 1: discussing it in a folsome took golf tournament. You know
- 36:36Speaker 1: what they say, I ain't got the rights I'm claiming
- 36:38Speaker 1: I've got that on my had to you know, I
- 36:40Speaker 1: was suing him for folk trillion trillion with a tear
- 36:44Speaker 1: yeo yo. So I'm probably gonna had to knock that
- 36:47Speaker 1: down a little bit. Yeah, how much that's too much? Oh,
- 36:51Speaker 1: I'm probably gonna try to hit him now for just
- 36:53Speaker 1: like a billion. Oh yeah, pull back a little bit,
- 36:58Speaker 1: pulling back, you know, he'll go ahead and go ahead.
- 37:01Speaker 1: Car Well you know, wow, you've been, you know, dealing
- 37:04Speaker 1: with the trial Silks Sonic Love Strain. You know they
- 37:08Speaker 1: remade that by confunction. Oh you know I heard that. Yeah, yeah,
- 37:13Speaker 1: think about it. Oh, that's good, that's good. You know
- 37:16Speaker 1: they're good. They were saying. You know, I still want
- 37:18Speaker 1: to give credit when credit dude, you know that they
- 37:21Speaker 1: did a good job. They ain't con function though confunction
- 37:26Speaker 1: was out there when it was hot, where everybody could say,
- 37:30Speaker 1: Bruno here, he damn didn't only walk who we up again?
- 37:34Speaker 1: He pay weren't up again? Pay little way. You know
- 37:39Speaker 1: all the sound, all this hell, you know, you ain't
- 37:41Speaker 1: got fool with nobody like that. You know, all all
- 37:44Speaker 1: all the rappers out here talking, you know, the Bruno
- 37:47Speaker 1: bas singing, you know, and you find they got that
- 37:50Speaker 1: little crazy boy with him or answer pack and yeah, yeah,
- 37:55Speaker 1: you know they got him with him. I like it.
- 37:57Speaker 1: But he went wigs to've seen that? Yeah yeah yeah,
- 38:00Speaker 1: what's straight hair? Well? I like it. I like it,
- 38:02Speaker 1: you know, but you know he from old school. You
- 38:05Speaker 1: know we've just got out done like that just got me.
- 38:09Speaker 1: He ain't got nobody, He ain't got nobody. He got
- 38:12Speaker 1: an old aunt at the beautist alone. Could have done
- 38:14Speaker 1: that for oh okay, because Jodan she jodas she used
- 38:19Speaker 1: to wear a hand to flip, used to look like
- 38:21Speaker 1: sweet polyt pure brand on Underdog? Where old Where has
- 38:29Speaker 1: my underdog? Gol joy? All right, thank you, Roscoe. We'll
- 38:38Speaker 1: holler back at you. Bye. We're gonna check Steve's voicemail.
- 38:44Speaker 1: Coming up at thirty four after you're listening Steve Harvey
- 38:48Speaker 1: Morning Show. Time to check your voicemail. Steve and if
- 38:53Speaker 1: you want to leave a voicemail you're out there listening,
- 38:55Speaker 1: you got something on your mind? Call eight seven seven
- 38:58Speaker 1: twenty nine Steve and Lee a voicemail. The first one
- 39:01Speaker 1: Steve is a caller. Her name is Lisa from Detroit
- 39:05Speaker 1: High Steve, Lisa from Metro Detroit There was a show
- 39:08Speaker 1: at the Fox Theater over Memorial Day weekend with Yale,
- 39:12Speaker 1: Hughesley and League a couple of other people. It got
- 39:16Speaker 1: real tense on that stage and after a while it
- 39:20Speaker 1: wasn't even funny. Apparently one person was supposed to be
- 39:24Speaker 1: a headliner, the other person thought they were, and it
- 39:28Speaker 1: showed on that stage. You can see the angry, you
- 39:30Speaker 1: can feel the attention. My question to you is what
- 39:34Speaker 1: responsibility does the promoter have and a mixed up like that,
- 39:37Speaker 1: and couldn't entertainers have figured out a better way, maybe
- 39:42Speaker 1: have a conversation, common courtesy or do all things in
- 39:46Speaker 1: a decent order. I want to hear your point of
- 39:48Speaker 1: view thinks. I love you, I love your show, I
- 39:51Speaker 1: love the crew. Keep doing what you're doing, have a
- 39:54Speaker 1: great day. Well, first of all, let me address the
- 39:57Speaker 1: promoters here. Promoters are just promoters. They are in hopes
- 40:01Speaker 1: of buying artists and paying artists that will sell the
- 40:05Speaker 1: venue out where they can make a profit. He got
- 40:09Speaker 1: the two people he thought could do that. As we
- 40:13Speaker 1: all saw what ended up happening was that was some discrepancy.
- 40:18Speaker 1: But as we saw in the contract clearly who the
- 40:22Speaker 1: headliner was dil Hugley and del Hugley went up last.
- 40:27Speaker 1: That's clear. The marquis outfront stated the same thing. What
- 40:32Speaker 1: was probably done behind the scenes was the management of
- 40:38Speaker 1: the other artists probably told them they were co headlining.
- 40:43Speaker 1: But as you saw the contract, clearly it was a
- 40:46Speaker 1: one headline for DL. Here's where the problem starts. Under
- 40:52Speaker 1: no circumstance should the business part of what the contract
- 40:57Speaker 1: says be taken to the stage. That's never a part
- 41:02Speaker 1: of the business. Those of you who bought tickets came
- 41:05Speaker 1: to see a show, not to hear a contract dispute.
- 41:09Speaker 1: This wasn't a court of law. This was a comedy
- 41:12Speaker 1: show and it never should have been bought up at all.
- 41:16Speaker 1: If you had a displeasure with your contract, should have
- 41:19Speaker 1: took it up with your management and the promoter, either
- 41:23Speaker 1: after the show or before the show. Taking it on
- 41:27Speaker 1: the stage. It's not the time to do that, and
- 41:31Speaker 1: it add for a poor performance. What's worse is to
- 41:36Speaker 1: do that in front of the next artist before they
- 41:41Speaker 1: come out. That is not what people are paid to see.
- 41:45Speaker 1: And I think that the mission was forgot here because
- 41:49Speaker 1: the mission can't be about you. The mission has to
- 41:53Speaker 1: always be about that person that bought a ticket. That's
- 41:57Speaker 1: the one thing we always prided ourselves was putting on
- 42:00Speaker 1: great shows, and that's what he wanted to do. And
- 42:03Speaker 1: he said, clearly people paid to see that, and it
- 42:07Speaker 1: was horrible the way it was handled. It wasn't the
- 42:10Speaker 1: promoter's position. It was the management of each artist to
- 42:15Speaker 1: understand what the contract said. And then if you had
- 42:18Speaker 1: a problem, just don't go out there. But what you're
- 42:21Speaker 1: going out there to tell the audience about stuff that
- 42:23Speaker 1: they have no idea for. And I'm glad the lady
- 42:26Speaker 1: called in because that's how a lot of people felt
- 42:28Speaker 1: that went to that show. Yeah, and it's horrible because
- 42:32Speaker 1: I mean, DL ain't ever had a problem like that before,
- 42:35Speaker 1: all the years of the kings to it, we ain't
- 42:37Speaker 1: ever had that problem. We knew who was going up
- 42:40Speaker 1: before we before we walked in that arena that night,
- 42:43Speaker 1: or we went to the arena and we said, hey, man,
- 42:45Speaker 1: I ain't feeling good tonight, can you close for me?
- 42:47Speaker 1: Tonight said has closed before. DL has closed before. I've
- 42:52Speaker 1: closed before, Anne Bernie has closed before. And we've switched
- 42:55Speaker 1: it up on nights where we thought the other one
- 42:57Speaker 1: just wentn't up to part it. Then I ain't feeling
- 42:59Speaker 1: good close something because closing it's hard, man. Yeah, you
- 43:03Speaker 1: got to go up after everybody that went up, and
- 43:06Speaker 1: it's a lot of thick talk down on that stage.
- 43:09Speaker 1: When three kings then went up in front of you
- 43:12Speaker 1: at tall about four inches thick, and it just got
- 43:15Speaker 1: laid and it's hot. Your ass got to come out there.
- 43:17Speaker 1: You gotta be a bad man to close. So once
- 43:19Speaker 1: again apologize to the city of Detroit for what happened.
- 43:24Speaker 1: And it was just a fault purely of the artist
- 43:27Speaker 1: in management and really nothing to do with the promoter. Yeah,
- 43:31Speaker 1: and you know the next work, Yeah, all right, all right,
- 43:37Speaker 1: coming up next, we'll have another prank phone call for today.
- 43:40Speaker 1: Junior is in for the nephew right after this. You're
- 43:43Speaker 1: listening to show coming up at the top of the hour,
- 43:49Speaker 1: right about four minutes after. It's my strawberry letter for
- 43:52Speaker 1: today and the subject is he wants to be seen
- 43:55Speaker 1: and not heard. We'll get into that in just a
- 43:58Speaker 1: little bit, but right now it is time for the
- 44:02Speaker 1: prank phone call for today. The nephews out for guess
- 44:05Speaker 1: who's here, Junior? What you got Junior? All right? The
- 44:07Speaker 1: nephew is here. He probably do it like this. Let
- 44:09Speaker 1: me see what level is stupid. I'm gonna give y'all. Okay, yeah,
- 44:13Speaker 1: I'm finning be. I'm finning be extra stupid today. Okay,
- 44:17Speaker 1: just the one I got. Let me go through my
- 44:18Speaker 1: files and look at my files. Got it here? It is?
- 44:22Speaker 1: Sex is too loud? Okay, Oh is it now? Yeah? Yeah,
- 44:28Speaker 1: I don't really like all that's loud. Sex, sex is
- 44:30Speaker 1: too loud? Running cant Hello. Hello, I'm trying to reach
- 44:36Speaker 1: uh uh you have the wrong number. This is his
- 44:41Speaker 1: wife though, Can I help you? Uh? Yes, ma'am. I'm
- 44:45Speaker 1: calling you from the front desk here at the at
- 44:47Speaker 1: the Hilton Hotel. Man, I'm called the room a few
- 44:51Speaker 1: times and you guys, you guys haven't answered. So we
- 44:54Speaker 1: actually went a little further and got the number of
- 44:57Speaker 1: connected with the credit card. And you know, I wouldn't
- 45:01Speaker 1: be calling your number like this. But the people are
- 45:04Speaker 1: complaining about you guys on the floor. Now, you guys
- 45:07Speaker 1: are staying on and they're saying that the sex is
- 45:09Speaker 1: too the sex is too loud coming from you. Wait,
- 45:13Speaker 1: wait a minute, what did you say? People are on
- 45:16Speaker 1: you as floor saying that the sex is too loud
- 45:20Speaker 1: coming from you and your husband's room. Way, What the
- 45:22Speaker 1: fuck is going on here? I am at home and
- 45:25Speaker 1: that mother is out of town. So what are you
- 45:29Speaker 1: saying to me? Uh? Did I get you the whole offers? Sure,
- 45:37Speaker 1: that's just that's just. This is his wife on the
- 45:40Speaker 1: phone right now. But she said she's at home. That's
- 45:46Speaker 1: what she's telling me. She tells me she's at home,
- 45:49Speaker 1: but she's not upstairs. No, she's not upstairs. They were
- 45:54Speaker 1: doing a different things. What am I supposed to play to? Okay? Okay, man, yes, okay,
- 46:01Speaker 1: I'm sorry. What's your limi? Dominique? Okay, Dominique. You know what,
- 46:05Speaker 1: We won't worry about it. We'll fix it. What do
- 46:09Speaker 1: you mean don't worry about it? You just caused me
- 46:11Speaker 1: to tell me that basically, my husband is having sex
- 46:15Speaker 1: with someone at the hotel, and now you're acting like
- 46:19Speaker 1: I'm just supposed to act like this didn't happen. Hello. Yeah,
- 46:24Speaker 1: and I did hear you talking to the background? You
- 46:27Speaker 1: heard who I heard you? Okay? Hold on, hold on?
- 46:31Speaker 1: Can you hold on again? Please? And uh? Where are
- 46:34Speaker 1: you at? Which is this? Which hotel? Is this? Hold
- 46:39Speaker 1: on for a sucker, man, I didn't hit the mute,
- 46:42Speaker 1: but I didn't hit the whole buddy. No, she heard
- 46:44Speaker 1: everything we was talking about. I don't know what am
- 46:50Speaker 1: I supposed to say to it. The guy won't answer
- 46:52Speaker 1: the phone, and it's noise coming from the room all day.
- 46:57Speaker 1: All right, hello, uh yeah, okay, Dominique, Dominique, I want
- 47:04Speaker 1: to apologize. We thought we were called. Apology is not
- 47:09Speaker 1: gonna do it. I can solve the problem for you.
- 47:11Speaker 1: Wish your address? Tell me your address. I'm not at
- 47:16Speaker 1: liberty to give that information. This is some bull some
- 47:20Speaker 1: real bulls. Can you put your manager on the phone
- 47:23Speaker 1: or something? Um, I mean Lenage is actually in a
- 47:26Speaker 1: meeting right now. I don't Somethinique. I just want to say,
- 47:31Speaker 1: I just, I truly apologize. I mean I thought I
- 47:35Speaker 1: was calling the person that was in the room. I'm
- 47:37Speaker 1: really really you know, I don't know what to say
- 47:39Speaker 1: if there is nothing to say, unless you're going to
- 47:41Speaker 1: give me your address right now so I could be
- 47:43Speaker 1: on my way over there. What city are you in?
- 47:46Speaker 1: Don't worry about where I'm ask I can get to
- 47:49Speaker 1: you and his you know what, I'm gonna call this
- 47:52Speaker 1: mother for myself and he better what okay, where your
- 47:57Speaker 1: whole situation? Okay? Right now? Okay, but will you await
- 48:01Speaker 1: because you're gonna metch what I'm gonna lose my job.
- 48:04Speaker 1: I don't about your job right now? Bro, you told
- 48:08Speaker 1: me that my husband is some other boy in your hotel?
- 48:13Speaker 1: Do you think I care? So? What's your address? Though?
- 48:15Speaker 1: I could see all my way? Okay, okay, okay, mom, Mom,
- 48:19Speaker 1: let me just call him. No, no, no, no, my manager,
- 48:22Speaker 1: My manager coming down now. Your manager is available? How convenient? Okay,
- 48:27Speaker 1: So now I don't need to talk. I don't want
- 48:29Speaker 1: to talk to your manager. Okay. I thought you wanted
- 48:31Speaker 1: to talk to the manager. I'm pissed off right now.
- 48:35Speaker 1: So either you're gonna give me your address? Can I
- 48:38Speaker 1: put this is my manager, Tommy? Can I put Tommy
- 48:41Speaker 1: on the phone? Sure? Hey, Dominique, Yes, this is Tommy. Okay, Tommy,
- 48:48Speaker 1: what's going on? Your worker called me to tell me
- 48:53Speaker 1: that my husband was having sex in your hotel? Too loud?
- 48:57Speaker 1: And I asked his address and he won't give it
- 49:00Speaker 1: to me. And I'm on my way down there, and
- 49:02Speaker 1: I'm about to call my husband since he won't answer
- 49:04Speaker 1: your call. And I did hear him talking to you
- 49:07Speaker 1: in the background. Okay, what did you hear who he
- 49:10Speaker 1: was talking to? No? I didn't. Okay, he was talking
- 49:14Speaker 1: to me. But do you know who I am? No?
- 49:16Speaker 1: I don't and I don't really care. But do you
- 49:20Speaker 1: know Tommy at all? Do I know Tommy? Now? You
- 49:24Speaker 1: know Tommy? No? Okay? Do you know nephew Tommy from
- 49:29Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show? Do you write you kitty?
- 49:34Speaker 1: How to hear you? That's that's Tommy. I don't like
- 49:40Speaker 1: I'm not your friend right now, Tommy, and I don't
- 49:42Speaker 1: like to anymore. I just like, come on, come on,
- 49:47Speaker 1: stay funny. It's not funny, Tommy, it's really okay, all right,
- 49:52Speaker 1: I don't want to get off the phone. And we're
- 49:53Speaker 1: all bad terms. Now we got to get back. We
- 49:55Speaker 1: gotta be a good terms when the phone. Okay, come
- 49:58Speaker 1: on laugh with me, baby, please. Well I don't know
- 50:03Speaker 1: if you'd be laughing if somebody cause you this, but okay,
- 50:08Speaker 1: I wouldn't You have a sister. Your sister name is Lydia?
- 50:13Speaker 1: Am I right? Yes? Lydia is who got me to pray? Phone?
- 50:17Speaker 1: Call you basic? Oh okay, it's it's really going down, man.
- 50:25Speaker 1: I got something for you at her kill you in
- 50:27Speaker 1: the streets. Tommy, Okay, let me ask you this before
- 50:30Speaker 1: you go. Lease, give me this. What's the baddest radio
- 50:32Speaker 1: show in the land? Come on, let me ask do
- 50:34Speaker 1: you know Steve Harvey? And that's you? Tommy? You know what, Tommy?
- 50:40Speaker 1: You used to be my favorite, but now I'm rather
- 50:44Speaker 1: with Steve. You could kiss Mike. Oh, come on, that
- 50:49Speaker 1: it is sex is too loud. Yeah, but she was
- 50:53Speaker 1: not about that. She was not having that. Yeah, what
- 50:57Speaker 1: are they in there doing? Wait a minute, my husband? Yeah,
- 51:06Speaker 1: huh huh, what about it now? Yeah? A great job,
- 51:09Speaker 1: great job, junior. I need I need's all mine because
- 51:13Speaker 1: I'm telling you about now. Ain't nobody else stupider than me.
- 51:15Speaker 1: I don't want to do well. Ain't but one person
- 51:18Speaker 1: herschel Walker. That's all. This is everything he said. He
- 51:23Speaker 1: wrote it. He wrote it for me to say it.
- 51:24Speaker 1: I'm saying everything Tommy wrote. All of us say yeah.
- 51:29Speaker 1: Even when he's not here, he he wants all his
- 51:32Speaker 1: praise and worship, even when he wants credit for yeah boys, brilliant,
- 51:37Speaker 1: he can crag, he can pray, want credit for Oh
- 51:41Speaker 1: here's another part. July First Club in South Carolina. Yeah,
- 51:45Speaker 1: I come stupid as finest koga center. I not the
- 51:51Speaker 1: crowger Koga Center. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, my contracts a headline,
- 51:56Speaker 1: I'm on that. I'm not sure if it doesn't, don't
- 52:04Speaker 1: go out there? Yeah, what's wrong with you? Want? You ain't?
- 52:07Speaker 1: You don't want? No. I didn't really feel like being
- 52:09Speaker 1: in praise and worshiped together. Oh but I will agree
- 52:14Speaker 1: one thing. Oh my damn contract headline. When you got there,
- 52:19Speaker 1: you knew who the hell out was. If you better
- 52:23Speaker 1: know who you said about you follow this if you
- 52:25Speaker 1: want to, and I'm gonna go out here and do that.
- 52:28Speaker 1: What would happen? Yeah, if it didn't say that headline,
- 52:32Speaker 1: or what would happen? And the problem? You know, you
- 52:35Speaker 1: need to get in front of this. You know you
- 52:39Speaker 1: don't want behind this? Ye? That was my you? You okay,
- 52:43Speaker 1: I'll tell you what. I let your headline. You're gonna
- 52:45Speaker 1: wish you happen? Yeah, I still have put it down
- 52:50Speaker 1: thick and hot out there. You don't want this thick
- 52:55Speaker 1: dog black smoke. It's the strawberry letters subject. He wants
- 52:59Speaker 1: to be seen but not heard. We'll get into it
- 53:02Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 53:21Speaker 1: reading your letter live on the air pop hoop, just
- 53:24Speaker 1: like you're going to read this one right here, right now,
- 53:27Speaker 1: and you never know, it could be yours. Never know,
- 53:31Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, it's time for the Strawberry Letter. My
- 53:33Speaker 1: good friend Shirley straw Berry. Thank you, junior. Subject he
- 53:37Speaker 1: wants to be seen but not heard. Dear Stephen, Shirley,
- 53:41Speaker 1: my husband and I are thirty four and we've been
- 53:43Speaker 1: together for nine years and married for three years. The
- 53:47Speaker 1: only reason we are married is because I gave him
- 53:50Speaker 1: an ultimatum after six years of dating. We needed to
- 53:53Speaker 1: move this thing forward or I was gone. He always
- 53:57Speaker 1: had been very full of himself and the his family
- 54:01Speaker 1: made him think he was God's gift to the earth
- 54:03Speaker 1: because he has eyes that change color, and he's tall
- 54:07Speaker 1: and very handsome. He's a natural flirt and I tolerate
- 54:10Speaker 1: it because I know that if he ever left me,
- 54:13Speaker 1: the woman would send him right back to me. Here's
- 54:16Speaker 1: the problem. He's not a manly man outside of the bedroom.
- 54:21Speaker 1: He can really show out in that bedroom, but after
- 54:23Speaker 1: that he's like having a child. All he cares about
- 54:27Speaker 1: is getting the latest trendy clothes, getting the newest watchers
- 54:30Speaker 1: or sneakers, and keeping his car clean and shiny outside
- 54:34Speaker 1: looking in. He's got his stuff together, but boy, oh boy,
- 54:38Speaker 1: is he trifling. He's got a great job and he's
- 54:41Speaker 1: in a leadership position, but his manager talks to him
- 54:44Speaker 1: like a child and doesn't allow him to speak up
- 54:46Speaker 1: and make his opinions known. His manager has even told
- 54:50Speaker 1: him that he's not paid to think. You know. As
- 54:53Speaker 1: soon as I heard that, I wanted to call his
- 54:55Speaker 1: job and speak to his manager, but I had to
- 54:58Speaker 1: realize he's my husband and not my son. I want
- 55:02Speaker 1: him to focus less on how clean he is when
- 55:05Speaker 1: he goes to work and more on how he represents
- 55:08Speaker 1: himself when he is at work. The same thing goes
- 55:11Speaker 1: for our marriage. I need him over our finances, upkeep
- 55:14Speaker 1: of the house, maintenance of our vehicles, all the manly
- 55:17Speaker 1: stuff in a marriage. He'd rather be seen than heard
- 55:21Speaker 1: in every aspect of his life. It's been nine years
- 55:25Speaker 1: and I'm done enabling him. Should I keep planning a
- 55:28Speaker 1: life with this man? Or let this one go? Well,
- 55:31Speaker 1: it's funny you should ask that, because you know you
- 55:33Speaker 1: gave him an ultimatum to marry you, and you knew
- 55:37Speaker 1: all this stuff before you married him. Did you really
- 55:41Speaker 1: want to marry this guy? Because it doesn't even seem
- 55:43Speaker 1: like it. You should be asking yourself why are you
- 55:46Speaker 1: acting like your husband's mother instead of his wife. Why
- 55:50Speaker 1: are you so critical of him? If he's as trifling
- 55:53Speaker 1: in as bad as you say he is, I don't
- 55:55Speaker 1: understand why you married him in the first place. Again,
- 55:59Speaker 1: these are the questions you should be asking yourself. You've
- 56:03Speaker 1: known him for a very long time, nine years. You
- 56:05Speaker 1: said he didn't just get like this. He's been like
- 56:08Speaker 1: this all along. Another question for you, why are you
- 56:11Speaker 1: trying to change him now? Could it be you're trying
- 56:15Speaker 1: to make him how you want him to be? For instance,
- 56:18Speaker 1: as far as the household chores go, you want him
- 56:21Speaker 1: to take over the finances, but what if he knows
- 56:24Speaker 1: nothing about finances? You want him to up keep the house.
- 56:28Speaker 1: Is he a handyman? If that's not going to happen?
- 56:32Speaker 1: Get a proper handyman to do that kind of work.
- 56:35Speaker 1: If he's not a mechanic and you want more than
- 56:38Speaker 1: just gas and car washes, that's not going to happen either.
- 56:42Speaker 1: I think you need to manage your expectations of this
- 56:45Speaker 1: man you married and you knew all about before you
- 56:48Speaker 1: married him. You're his wife, not his mother. Again. You
- 56:54Speaker 1: can't be calling up to his job checking his boss
- 56:57Speaker 1: because of the way he said his boss spoke to him.
- 56:59Speaker 1: That's for him to do. You said he was a leader, right,
- 57:03Speaker 1: You said that in your letter, that your husband is
- 57:05Speaker 1: a leader. Well let him lead. It sounds like he
- 57:08Speaker 1: wanted desperately to marry him, you know, thinking he would change.
- 57:12Speaker 1: He didn't change. He's the same man you dated for
- 57:15Speaker 1: six years, and now you're realizing who he really is,
- 57:18Speaker 1: and that doesn't seem to be good enough for you.
- 57:21Speaker 1: I would just love to hear his side of the story.
- 57:24Speaker 1: And one thing he would probably say about you is
- 57:27Speaker 1: that your boss Steve, among other things. Well, you know,
- 57:33Speaker 1: good answer, Shirley, I don't. There's a waste. He wants
- 57:41Speaker 1: to be seen and not heard. Let's go. You're both
- 57:45Speaker 1: y'all thirty four. You've been together nine years, Mann for
- 57:47Speaker 1: three and then you say you be gave him an
- 57:49Speaker 1: ultimatum and eventually he managed. That's how you got him.
- 57:52Speaker 1: Okay after six years. Then you tell me that he's
- 57:56Speaker 1: very full of himself and the women in his family
- 57:59Speaker 1: made him think he was he was God's gift to
- 58:03Speaker 1: the earth because he has eyes that change color. Well,
- 58:09Speaker 1: I bought my grandson and transformer one time, and it
- 58:12Speaker 1: do the same thing. Transform. My eyes turned red sometime
- 58:18Speaker 1: sometime they blew, you know, but it ain't the best
- 58:22Speaker 1: toy he got. Now you got a man that got
- 58:26Speaker 1: his eyes that can change color, and you ain't got
- 58:29Speaker 1: the best man they got either. He's tall and very handsome. Okay,
- 58:34Speaker 1: so you just got a little cute as boy. Guys
- 58:39Speaker 1: have changed your colors. That meany light skinned dog skinned
- 58:43Speaker 1: people eyes don't change colors. Don't tell you to be
- 58:45Speaker 1: too damn shocker. So day this little yellow ass boy,
- 58:52Speaker 1: because his little eyes can change. Because the dogs kill people,
- 58:55Speaker 1: eyes stayed the same. So no chocolate, man, I'm telling you, Sherley,
- 59:01Speaker 1: dog people eyes don't change color. It'll be too much.
- 59:06Speaker 1: You shouldn't have been here having coffee with some fine
- 59:09Speaker 1: dog skin and chicken in her eye, change color. You
- 59:11Speaker 1: gotta get hell up out of here. That polar gay.
- 59:15Speaker 1: That's polar gas. She fit to be stepping out to
- 59:18Speaker 1: TV when you get home. You need to get your
- 59:20Speaker 1: eyes out of this. Yeah, he's a natural flirt and
- 59:25Speaker 1: not tolerated because I know if he ever left me,
- 59:27Speaker 1: the woman was sitting him right back to me. Oh
- 59:29Speaker 1: so you got somebody, don't nobody won't butch you? Who
- 59:32Speaker 1: is letter going to hell? Right here? Here's the problem,
- 59:35Speaker 1: and we're gonna get to this when I come back.
- 59:37Speaker 1: He's not a manly man outside the bed room. What
- 59:43Speaker 1: oh hell, no, we come back? Hold on, yeah, I
- 59:48Speaker 1: ain't gun Steve. We'll have part two of your response
- 59:51Speaker 1: to today's Strawberry letter at twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 59:54Speaker 1: The subject he wants to be seen but not heard.
- 59:57Speaker 1: We'll get back into that right after this. You're listening,
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: all right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: The subject is he wants to be seen but not heard.
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: So this woman got this man that don't nobody else
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: won't seem like to me. They've been together nine years.
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: She forced him to marry him, but an ultimatum and everything.
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: And then you know he thinks he God's gift because
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: his ass changed colors. Like I said, I bought my
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: grandson a transform and do the same damn thing, just
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: cause his eyes change color. And then we've come to
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: the conclusion that he must be a little light skin
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: and ass boy, a little yellow boy, because dark skinned
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: people eyes do not change colors. It'll be too much,
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: it'll just be shocked. You're sitting over there sipping your coffee.
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: She looking over the edge of the wood, and all
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: of a sudden her eyes go green. You got to
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: get the hell out of him, because Mike, I said
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: the post the guys, you got to get the hell
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: out of here. She possessed. And now he's a natural flirt,
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: not tolerated because I know if he ever left me,
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: the women with sending him right back to me. So
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: now you got somebody don't nobody won't, but you we
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: left off right here. Here's the problem. He's not a
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: manly man outside the bedroom. Oh boy, you got a
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: man that ain't side and that ain't a man outside
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: the bedroom. So now you just got a big old
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: or big old what they call it, a man child.
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: You got a man child. Yeah, he a man in
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: the bedroom. He baby Hughey out the bedroom. Just got
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: a damn dip on't look like a big ass egg
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: with a dive ahole. You had that big giant dunk
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: named baby Hughett. But he a man child in the bedroom.
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: He can really show out in that bedroom. But after that,
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: it's like having a child who won't that After while,
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: you're gonna understand that you letting a baby climb on you.
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: That's what you're gonna realize in a minute. See right
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: now that the man child parties being But then he
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: baby Huey outside. After while you're gonna realize it's baby
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: Huey that you're making love to take your dab off. Baby,
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: Come on e here, lay down this water, clean yourself,
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: or you come in. That's what it's gonna start getting to.
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: All he cares about is getting the latest trendy clothes,
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: getting the newest watchers or sneakers, and keeping his car
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: clean and shining outside looking in. He got the stuff together.
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: A boiled boy. He's trifling. He's got a great job,
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: and he's in the leadership position. Now listen to this
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: right here. But his matter talks to him like a
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: child and don't allow him to speak up and make
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: his opinions known. His manager has even told him that
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: he's not paid the thing. You know, as soon as
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: I heard that, I wanted to call this job and
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: speak to his manager. Okay, so let me get this straight.
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: So now everybody knows who he is, and everybody knows
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: who and what they're dealing with, even you. So now
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: your boss know who he is, the co workers know
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: who he is, and you know who he is. But
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: you don only want stuck with it. But I had
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: to realize he's my husband and not my son. Why
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: do you even have to say that, Yeah, he's my husband,
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: not my son. I want him to focus less on
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: how clean he is when he goes to work, on
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: more how he represents himself when he's at work, and
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: the same thing go for our madness. Surely made a
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: good point here. I need him over our finance. Suppose
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: he don't know nothing about finance, up keeping the house.
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: He probably knows something about that, because you know about
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: upkeep of himself, maintenance of our vehicles, all the manly
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: stuff in the marriage, y'all. Keep you keep asking this
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: boy to be a man when he ain't. He's a
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: man child. He's baby Hewett. He's a big ass duck
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: with the dive on. Save that he married him. He's
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: baby Hewett. Look up to them old cartoons, Baby Hughey,
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: the big john ass duck with the big ass lips.
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: Put the dipper on. He'd rather be seen and heard
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: in every aspect of his life. He's been nine years
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: and I'm done enabling him. Should I be playing in
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: a life with this man? Or let this one go? No?
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: I think the bigger question is is he playing in
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: a life with you? You forced him into marriage. Of
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: course he did it because here a little boy, Mama said,
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: I got you man, I got you mad. So now
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: Eric Boston told him shut up. He paid the day
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: he shut his ass on here out there washing his
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: car right now, putting some new sneakers on. He cleaned
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: his hell. And here goes him eyes that in the
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: change again to this Sunday. What does each color mean?
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: He's Sunday outside seem like if his daytime his son
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: his eyes is a blue turned into a blue Denny
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: to get into the evening, turn moke great. And then
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: at night he just said damn, hezeling like sexy. Then
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: he come ahead and back to my eyes. And he
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: taught girl he'd be smelling good and he can handle
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: his business in the bid. But then we get through
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: in the morning. I got to wash him and brush
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: his teeth so he can get it. And then he
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: gonna go down there trying to leave. You better sit
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: down and eat your Mealfo. You go to work and
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: eat your finished show old Mealfo, you go to work.
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: And then he'd been crying sometime. Then he gonna run
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: out to the house and get into get your backpack.
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: You're gonna leave all his stuff at work. And then
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: I got to see them all right here. And then
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: I got to go out there and set his GPS
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: so he don't get lost on his way to work,
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: you know. And then he go down there to the work.
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: And then he climbed out the car smelling all good,
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: and women be gonna who I like him, but three
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: women to send his ass back to the house. And
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: then Boston told him he can't make decisions on his job. Lady,
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: you want to quit enabling him. Stop all right. Poster

- 1:07:12Speaker 1: We don't have water bottles for you. We got all
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: kinds of stuff for you. So I'm excited about that.
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: But let's get to it. Uh. In Major League Baseball,
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: I find this quite interesting. I really do that San
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: Francisco Giants manager Gabe Kapler has resumed his protest of
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: the national anthem. Kapitler stayed in the clubhouse with a
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: handful of players. Now, the question is what's sit between
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: Colin Kaepernick protests and Gabe Kapler protesting, Because I just
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: want to say this, they both have the right to protest,
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: but I have yet to hear any backland or why
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: he ain't out there for the national anthem because it
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: don't matter again, Gabe Kapler, manager of San Francisco Giants,
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: who is white, okay, and then Colin Kaepernick black? Just okay? Yeah,
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: next next story? I mean for real, I mean, y'all,
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: come on, Yeah, why do we keep acting like it's
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: the same when clearly it's different and we know it?
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, and we know it. Yeah yeah, yeah, I
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: know it. That man was robbed of his career because
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: he took a stands yea police killing black men. And
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: then now the vality situation happened. And now he said,
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: I'm not coming out no more. I'm not I'm not standing.
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: He did come out for the national anthem on Memorial
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: Day when they had a game to the yet he
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: did come out. So he's saying he's not standing for
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: what reason, Julian, He said, gun control, the country reform,
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: something something got to happen with gun reform. He that's
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: why he said he's not standing. Okay, cool, I'm standing that. Okay,
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: let's see how long that lasts. But you best believe
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: every politician is gonna slam him for that because they
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: brother brother, they tell him out, they money from the NI.
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: Every politician gonna slam him for that. So just watch
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: watch how this man you're talking about messing with their money. Now,
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: Oh you feeling them here and stand you feel the
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: same anthem and everything else. All right, Junior, Thank you always,
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: good point bringing that up. All right, coming up at
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: the top of the hour, we'll check Steve's voicemail again
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: eight seven seven twenty nine. Steve, right after this, you're
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: listening show, all right, Steve, time to go to your
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: voicemail once again. A lot of calls today. If you
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: would like to leave Steve a voicemail yourself hit him
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: up at eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve. This one
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: is from Tyrone from Beaumont Tech to Steve. See it's
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: power on from Bonemont tists. Man, I heard you somebody,
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: if you kick the salmon, you would go to jail.
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: But where I'm from and bonemon tists, if you kill
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: a squirrel you're going to jail. Brother, the same thing,
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: y'all feel how you feel if you kill a squirrel
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: and bonemonch you're going to jail to kill one of
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: bug and then you're gonna have totigious I mean, look,
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: salmon out of season you can't catch them. A deer
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: out of season, you can't shoot them. See, this country
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: is so funny. They have species that are on the
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: endangered species list and you're not allowed to kill them.
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: So why is it that human human lives are not
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: considered an endangered speci See, they just don't make no
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: dog on sense. Man, it's mandatory jail time if you
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: take certain animal as it should be. Well, I think
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: humans should get that same consideration. Excuse me, but we
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: thank you Tyrone from Beaumont. This is a chef Chef
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: Paul left a message about grilling. Steve. Hey, Steve, Rob, Hey,
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: this chef Paul Man. I was listening to your Bobby
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: Q tips and everything. Look, this is what also you
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: need to do. In the middle of your charcoal. You
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: put your can down. Then you know, you get that
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: baked bean can or whatever that you got, you know,
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: and you fill it up with just some bill in
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: your little season little onion off and then everything look darling,
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: and you know you made sure that and once it
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: heat up and you'll be smoking your meat and everything
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: and you coulding like that right there. Man, You're gonna
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: get so much most of them. Real's gonna be the
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: till there is real's folk on. Thank you learning damn
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: butther than the other. The bones don't come about it.
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: Now you're here and missus Steve, look how you keep
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: on pushing on, Rob because you inspired me every day. Look,
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: I want you to come and get some of this
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: Bobby QU once I get this spot over, and I'm
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: gonna give you the I'm gonna give you the information.
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: You understand, I do it on my side, on the side,
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: on my own. But hey, when you ybody, I guarantee
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: you man, I smoke with the best of the boat.
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: But I'm as an old, little young guy, you know,
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: some man. Chef Paul, you sound like you might be
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: only something. He say, take a can, put beer in
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: it and some onions and garlic, and then put it
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: in the middle of that five. It's gonna heat up.
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: I know that's gonna create moisture. Boister. You know it
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: makes sense, Chef Paul, try it. Yeah, I ain't mad
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: at that, right. That sounds like I don't know if
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: I won't be in it, but I don't know what
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: the beer does. But he sounded like he knew what
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: he was talking about. Yeah, garlic, I'm gonna put some
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: other stuff in that show. But that did say that
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: can trick might be the way to go. Yeah, all right,
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: all right, we have another one. I might have to
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: consider that, all right, because yeah, yeah, yeah, all right, Steve,
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: here's a question from a caller who needs some relationship
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: advice from you. Tis. I'm calling because I recently found
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: out that Mathias Saying has been cheated on him, and
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: after talking to him about it, he feels as though
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: it was a lack of sex, a lack of you know,
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: doing the things that I used to do. When we
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: initially got together. For me, I was kind of going
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: through my whole thing the last ninety days of our relationship,
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: and for him, you know, and myself, we got to
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: disconnect and I'm just trying to see, you know, should
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: I take him back? Well, here's a deal. I think
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: both of you admitted that there was some type of
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: disconnect after you disgusted with him. So the question is
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: what you do. It's really depends on what you can tolerate.
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: Eight Can you continue to look at him realizing what
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: he has done? But I also want you to think
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: about this. That will be several moments in the relationship
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: where they will be some type of disconnect. So is
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: that his solution every time y'all disconnect, he gonna go
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: get somebody else? Sheet See, that's what you have to consider,
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: So I would think about that in your decision. All right,
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: we'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: up in twenty minutes. Right after this, you're listening to

- 1:16:16Speaker 1: you're listening to show? All right, guys, it is time
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: to play a round of would you rather? Here we go?
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: Would you rather get away with any lie you tell?
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: Any lie you tell you can get away with it?
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: Or would you rather Hey, my whole life goal right there?
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: Baby an I want? Or this is for you junior?
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: Or would you rather detect any lie you here? So?
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: Would you rather be able to get away with one?
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: Or be able to tell a phone? Lying? And yeah,
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: I don't should care someone's lying to you. I can't care.

- 1:17:08Speaker 1: be two liars talking. That's a good conversation too, what
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: el ball we should do that one day? We should
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: lie to each other on a coll just the whole
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: damn thing. I just want to be all mine, be believable. Yeah,
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: it's been my whole goal in life. Anyway, man, Lord
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: thank you Jesus to say this, and she fuldn't believe it. Yes,

- 1:18:00Speaker 1: best out of head? Too? Cool? Great line. Yeah, I
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: love it. You feel the same way. Absolutely, I'm gonna
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: tell you why. I surely because men's research department ain't
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: good at all. We ain't research and nothing to find
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: out if it's the truth, No, it be true. We
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: don't care a lot of a lot of now whatever.
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: All right, Well here's another one. Would you rather never
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: pay for taxes? We never pay for gas? You were
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: gonna say that, Yeah, yeah, I'm about to hell out
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: this gas. Hey. Hey, hey, I don't give a damn
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: of gas. It's thirty dollars a gallon. If I could
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: just get out of a yeah, all right, would you
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: rather be a star of a small movie or be
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: an extra in a really big movie like Top Gun,
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: Maverick or something walking around Ain't got no hey, let's
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: Top Gun with small last line. You're on the floor
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: your part, all right, one last one if we have time?
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: Would you rather German chocolate cake or cherry hey hey?
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: Or cherry pie? Because you know why, because it's hard
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: to find a good cherry path. Oh, because I know
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: that's what your favorite? Anybody night slide in my DM?
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: Are you saying all right? All right? That's today's round?
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: If would you rather? Thanks? Guys coming up at forty
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: nine minutes after the hour, our last break of the
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: day and some closing remarks from the one in elite
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: Steve Harvey right after this you're listening to show. All right, guys,
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: here we are our last break of the day. And uh,
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: you know it's been a good day. It's been a
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: good day. Yeah, this on weekday, Yeah, going by past Yeah,
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: thank the Lord for that break on Monday we had yes,
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: thank you? So um Steve, you have some clothing for us.
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: You know, I was thinking of something the other day.
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: I heard something online and it really affected me profoundly
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: and it made me sit down and ponder and really
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: think of the goodness of God and all that God
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: has done for me. And I think about my life,
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: my legacy, that when my life is over, what I
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: would like to be said about me. And I discovered
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: it's not about the comedy. It's not about the TV shows,
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: the awards, none of that. It's it's about much deeper.
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: It's really about what I'm hoping to accomplish from here
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: on out. And it's not about my shows or anything
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: like that. It's about the legacy. It's about trying to
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: make an imprint in the world in which I live in.
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: And I'm not going to change the world. I'm not
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: that egotistical that one man changes the world, because it
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: has to be a collective effort. It's a huge world.
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: It's eight billion people here. It's no one person that
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: can change the entire world. Jesus came to change and
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: to save, and he was sped upon and hung on
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: the cross. So but he had a lasting effect though,
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: Oh my goodness, that thirty three years he was here was,
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: Oh my goodness, what an impact he had. Na I'm
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: not Christ, Let's be clear about that. Nobody is but
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: I do want to have an impact. And I was
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: listening to somebody online and they said, what makes this
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: world great is that when old men plant trees the
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: shade in which they will never sit in, good people
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: do things for other people. And I'm thinking about my
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: life that I'm actually in the process of planting trees
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: and the shade of which I will never sit in.
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: I won't get to sit under some of these trees
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: that I'm planting, but I want to plant them because
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: I want to do something for somebody coming behind me,
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: for my grandchildren, for other people's young men, for other
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: young people's children. And that's why I've gotten to in
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: my life. And that thing that I saw online, it
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: affected me so profoundly, man, And the lady said, that's it,
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: that's the end. She said, A society grows great when
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: old men plant trees in the shade in which they
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: know they will never sit in. That's deep, man, that
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: you can get to that point now, I understand when
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: you're younger that that's not the mission, because you got
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: to first get yourself under a tree somewhere. You understand
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: the whole thing in life is for somebody to create
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: some shade for themselves. No oldbody wants to live under
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: the blare of the sun continuously, So you have to
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: do that. When you're younger, you're trying to you're trying
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: to create a tree, man, that you can get under
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: the shade. You know, you want to build a retirement
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: plan for yourself so you can get under the shade.
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: But when that's done, what you're gonna do. And I'm
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: at that phase of my life, man, where oh God
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: continues to give me grace and mercy that will allow
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: me to act the way I've been acting and to
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: be able to shine the way I've been shine. And
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: I want to keep planting trees on which under the
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: shade I know I will never sit, but that somebody
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: after me can enjoy the shade of that treatment. As
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: just being a good person, man, and how good are
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: you gonna be? I'm just asking the question because we
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: all have the ability to be good within our own right.
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: This ain't a conversation about rich people. This is a
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: conversation towards good people and some of the best people
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: I know. Hey, rich at all? I swear to God
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: to some of the best people I know. I can't
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: even tell you how much they make. Some of the
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: biggest inspirations in my life have been from common people
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: who have done some uncommon things. They have been my
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: greatest inspiration. Marl Luther King was not a rich man.
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: He affected me profoundly. Profoundly. Man. Now that are some
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: men who have made a success out of themselves financially
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: that ever affected me. But my greatest effect in my
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: life was not by rich people. My father, Slick Harvey,
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: Lord ha Mercy poor his entire life. The greatest effect
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: on me, ever, this dude made me man. If it
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: wasn't for this dude right here, I'm not here today.
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: My father was that type of man. He was really
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: the best man I ever knew. I didn't know a
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: stronger dude than him. And when he passed, I couldn't
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: believe it, because the strongest dude I know. When I
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: got the news, I fell on my knees. Man, I
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: remember the day I got the phone call. I fell
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: on my knees on my ranch in Texas. My brother said,
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: Daddy gone, what Daddy. It was a totally different reaction
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: than when my mother passed. My mother it just crumbled
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: me because she was dear to me. But my father.
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: I just never thought none would happened to this dude,
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: I just really did. But he planted some trees in
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: my heart and in my life of which he knew
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: he would never sit under the shade in it. And
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: he made me who I am. That's who I'm trying
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: to be. That's who you should try to be. Plant
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: some trees in which you would knows never sit under
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: the shade. That makes you a good person. Y'all have
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: a great thing. Hey, listen, y'all talk to God. He'd
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: love to hear from you. Okay, I'll let you. For
