- 1:40Speaker 1: I got to turn out.
- 1:42Speaker 3: Turn you probably got to turn mouth, turn out the water,
- 1:47Speaker 3: the water up.
- 1:55Speaker 8: Come come out?
- 1:59Speaker 2: You think that, I sure will. Good morning everybody. You
- 2:05Speaker 2: are listening to the voice, Come on, dig me now
- 2:07Speaker 2: one and only. Uh huh Steve Harvey Man got a
- 2:11Speaker 2: radio show. Mmm, here I do.
- 2:15Speaker 9: Man.
- 2:16Speaker 2: God been so good to me over the years, in
- 2:19Speaker 2: spite of all the mistakes I've made, in spite of
- 2:23Speaker 2: all the dirt I've done to myself. I'm talking about
- 2:27Speaker 2: went in knowing I was wrong. His grace and mercy
- 2:32Speaker 2: has forgiven me for all of my sins. God can
- 2:37Speaker 2: forgive you of all of your sins. Everything you've done,
- 2:42Speaker 2: God can forgive you. He can wipe your slate clean. Now.
- 2:47Speaker 2: Might you might have some you know, things you got
- 2:50Speaker 2: to deal with because of some of your actions. Understand that.
- 2:54Speaker 2: But you can wipe your slates. You can wipe your
- 2:56Speaker 2: slate clean with God and start again. You can repair.
- 3:00Speaker 2: God has mercy and grace. You could be forgiven by God.
- 3:04Speaker 2: Now people adds another story. Some people may never forgive
- 3:08Speaker 2: you for you've heard them, or or maybe they accusing
- 3:11Speaker 2: you of doing something else. But you know they may
- 3:13Speaker 2: never forgive you. But God, God is in the redemption
- 3:17Speaker 2: business man. God will forgive you for every sin you've
- 3:21Speaker 2: ever committed. But you gotta want forgiveness now and then
- 3:25Speaker 2: you got to come correct because what you can't do
- 3:28Speaker 2: is you can't shoot him the crap. Now you can
- 3:31Speaker 2: say that conversation with him. You know, whatever you told
- 3:34Speaker 2: your lawyer, whatever you told the victims, whatever you told,
- 3:40Speaker 2: whatever the story is you got going, if it ain't
- 3:43Speaker 2: the truth, you can say that with God, because please know,
- 3:47Speaker 2: he know, and he know your heart. He know if
- 3:49Speaker 2: you're trying to manipulate somebody just for the system, if
- 3:53Speaker 2: you're trying to say this just so you can get out,
- 3:55Speaker 2: He know all of that. So if you're planning on
- 3:58Speaker 2: shucking him and driving him, say your breath before you
- 4:01Speaker 2: wind up digging yourself in a deeper hole. Just let
- 4:04Speaker 2: me give you that piece of advice. Because he ain't
- 4:06Speaker 2: nothing to play with. He's too great to be played
- 4:09Speaker 2: with and so with that in mind, I want to
- 4:12Speaker 2: share some positive stuff with you this morning.
- 4:14Speaker 9: Man.
- 4:14Speaker 2: I want to say this. I want to remind you
- 4:17Speaker 2: not to let your circumstance and your situations dictate your
- 4:22Speaker 2: future or your results. I'm gonna say this again. This
- 4:27Speaker 2: is important information.
- 4:28Speaker 7: Man.
- 4:29Speaker 2: Don't let your circumstance and situations dictate your future or
- 4:35Speaker 2: your results. Do you know that in order to get
- 4:40Speaker 2: a different future or some different results, you control that
- 4:45Speaker 2: entire situation. It is you, It is your thoughts that
- 4:49Speaker 2: control the entire situation. It is how you look at
- 4:52Speaker 2: the situation that will determine how the situation is for you. See,
- 4:58Speaker 2: the same situation can be totally different for two different people,
- 5:02Speaker 2: because you can say you look at the examples of history,
- 5:04Speaker 2: just just look look in your neighborhood. How can There
- 5:08Speaker 2: was a book that a guy wrote one time who
- 5:10Speaker 2: had the name. He had a name, and he did
- 5:13Speaker 2: some research and he found a god that grew up
- 5:16Speaker 2: at the same age in the same neighborhood as him,
- 5:19Speaker 2: with the exact same name. He went on to become
- 5:23Speaker 2: a corporate CEO. The other man was an inmate, and
- 5:31Speaker 2: they had the same name, grew up in this same neighborhood.
- 5:35Speaker 2: They were both brothers, you know not, I'm just saying
- 5:38Speaker 2: brothers men. And they grew and they went to differ.
- 5:42Speaker 2: Because how can two different two people the same situation
- 5:46Speaker 2: and the results turn out so different. It is because
- 5:49Speaker 2: of the thought process of one was completely different from
- 5:52Speaker 2: the thought process of the other. You control it. You
- 5:55Speaker 2: don't have to let your circumstances and your situations dictate
- 5:59Speaker 2: your future, all your results. Here's the way it works.
- 6:03Speaker 2: This is so you can understand this. Your mind is
- 6:07Speaker 2: the controlling factor of your thoughts. Your thoughts are the
- 6:12Speaker 2: controlling factor of your outcome. The Bible says a man
- 6:17Speaker 2: is as he thinketh. Please don't short play this scripture here,
- 6:22Speaker 2: because this one is the real deal. This is the
- 6:25Speaker 2: basis of every self improvement book you'll ever read. It's
- 6:30Speaker 2: already written in the Bible. The Bible has all the
- 6:33Speaker 2: information you need. But in case you need a little
- 6:36Speaker 2: bit of clarity in some simple modern day language, then
- 6:38Speaker 2: they have self improvement books. They are all based on
- 6:42Speaker 2: Biblical scripture. A man is as he thinketh. That's why
- 6:46Speaker 2: Norman Vincent Peale wrote the book The Power of Positive Thinking.
- 6:50Speaker 2: That's why a book came out called The Magic of
- 6:53Speaker 2: Thinking Big. That's why a book came out called Think
- 6:56Speaker 2: and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hell. All these titles that
- 7:01Speaker 2: I've read that have mattered in my life the most,
- 7:04Speaker 2: these three major books that I've read, they all say
- 7:07Speaker 2: one thing. Think, thinking thoughts, because that's what controls the outcome.
- 7:13Speaker 2: Your brain works one of two ways. It works positive
- 7:20Speaker 2: or negative. It works good, which is under the column
- 7:25Speaker 2: of positive, or to work evil, which is under the
- 7:28Speaker 2: column of negative. It will have faith, which is under
- 7:33Speaker 2: the column of positive, or you will operate in fear,
- 7:37Speaker 2: which is in the column of negative.
- 7:39Speaker 9: That is the only way your mind works.
- 7:42Speaker 2: Your mind is a factory that's comprised of workers. Those
- 7:47Speaker 2: workers are controlled by two foremans, forming positive and forming negative.
- 7:53Speaker 9: But guess what the CEO.
- 7:55Speaker 2: Of the company, the headman, the boss is you. You come
- 8:01Speaker 2: to work in the morning and you say, man, today
- 8:05Speaker 2: is a great day. I'm going to take steps towards
- 8:08Speaker 2: brightening my future. I'm going to take another step into
- 8:12Speaker 2: making that dream come true that I've been thinking about.
- 8:15Speaker 2: I'm gonna take another step forward in the development and
- 8:18Speaker 2: the changing of my life in a positive, good direction.
- 8:22Speaker 2: If you come to work and say that every day,
- 8:24Speaker 2: as the CEO, the boss, the foremans can only obey you,
- 8:30Speaker 2: so that what you just said was a series of
- 8:32Speaker 2: positive statements then forming positive steps to the forefront. He said,
- 8:37Speaker 2: I got your boss right away. He turns around, He
- 8:40Speaker 2: blows the whistle sh He alerts all the workers in
- 8:43Speaker 2: the factory. Today is a good day. Today we will
- 8:46Speaker 2: take steps towards our future. Today we are putting ourselves
- 8:50Speaker 2: on track to get a little bit closer to making
- 8:52Speaker 2: our dreams come true.
- 8:54Speaker 9: Today we will be assembling.
- 8:57Speaker 2: All the things we need to make our dreams come
- 8:59Speaker 2: true and our life better in the right direction. Everybody break.
- 9:04Speaker 2: The workers in the factory turn around and manufacture thoughts
- 9:08Speaker 2: to justify the orders given by the boss, which is you.
- 9:14Speaker 2: You are the CEO of your corporation. If you don't
- 9:18Speaker 2: own nothing else, you own everything that's going on between
- 9:21Speaker 2: your two ears. You are the CEO of that corporation.
- 9:25Speaker 2: If that corporation is a good one, it's because you
- 9:28Speaker 2: set it up that way. If your corporation is a
- 9:31Speaker 2: bad one, it's because you set it up that day.
- 9:34Speaker 2: If you try, and if you pushing towards your dreams,
- 9:37Speaker 2: and you see the possibility of things happening in your
- 9:39Speaker 2: life is because you, as the CEO, set it up
- 9:42Speaker 2: that way. If you ain't got nothing popping, if you
- 9:44Speaker 2: just want to be a criminal taking stuff from people,
- 9:47Speaker 2: throwing your life out the window, you're gonna be an inmate.
- 9:49Speaker 2: You're gonna be sitting there there, and you're gonna be
- 9:51Speaker 2: mad at everybody. You't got nobody be mad at. But
- 9:53Speaker 2: you you understand what I'm telling you this morning?
- 9:56Speaker 10: Uh huh.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:04Speaker 2: Ladies and gentlemen, it is here. It's morning time. It's
- 10:07Speaker 2: gratitude time. It's attitude time, it's altitude time. If you
- 10:13Speaker 2: add thanksgiving to those that one thing, gratitude, it changes
- 10:19Speaker 2: your attitude, which directly affects your altitude.
- 10:23Speaker 9: Period.
- 10:24Speaker 2: That's it. That's it. It's a fact. Doesn't matter if
- 10:27Speaker 2: you believe in it or adhere to it. It's just facts.
- 10:31Speaker 2: Start being grateful and watch what happened. So today I'm grateful.
- 10:36Speaker 2: I invite you to do the same. Let's get it on,
- 10:39Speaker 2: Shelby Strawberry call it for real, Junior, Mississippi Monica, Tomas Junior,
- 10:44Speaker 2: what's on your mind?
- 10:46Speaker 7: You know?
- 10:46Speaker 11: What just to say right there with this gratitude, You know,
- 10:49Speaker 11: I was thinking about something, man, I was looking at that,
- 10:51Speaker 11: like your whole career and everything, or had there been
- 10:54Speaker 11: moments where you have to be grateful and still walk
- 10:57Speaker 11: along when nobody believed in your dream and your vision.
- 11:00Speaker 2: Boy, let me speak on behalf of everybody that has
- 11:04Speaker 2: ever wanted to be anybody. Anybody trying to convince everybody
- 11:10Speaker 2: that you might one day be somebody.
- 11:15Speaker 9: Sound like an old church. So I'm just a nobody.
- 11:22Speaker 2: Trying to tell everybody, oh about somebody that can save anybody.
- 11:35Speaker 9: I'm just a newsbody.
- 11:39Speaker 1: Trying to tell everybody.
- 11:44Speaker 2: About somebody that can save anybody. And uh yeah, Man,
- 11:52Speaker 2: You're gonna go through moments like that where you feel
- 11:55Speaker 2: alone and difficult, and you're gonna have to try to
- 11:58Speaker 2: find the motivation that keeps you moving when they ain't
- 12:02Speaker 2: none surrounding you. It is a lot of days like that.
- 12:05Speaker 2: That's one of the things that make being successful so hard.
- 12:10Speaker 2: It's hard to find support on your way to be
- 12:14Speaker 2: successful because what happens is so many people you've been
- 12:18Speaker 2: close to ain't gonna be on that same success journey
- 12:22Speaker 2: you on, and they just not gonna understand this different
- 12:26Speaker 2: you that then showed up all of a sudden, and
- 12:28Speaker 2: then you get pushed back. And it's strange how it
- 12:31Speaker 2: comes from family and friends, which makes you feel even
- 12:38Speaker 2: more isolated. So yeah, man, it happens to us all.
- 12:42Speaker 2: It's a part of the success progress. That's why it's
- 12:45Speaker 2: imperative that you have relationship with God, because he is
- 12:49Speaker 2: the one force that is steady and consistent.
- 12:52Speaker 9: He never changes.
- 12:54Speaker 2: Here, old people say, hold on to God's unchange in
- 12:57Speaker 2: hand because it don't change though. He don't move, He
- 12:59Speaker 2: don't way. He solidly. He's solid in the clutch, in
- 13:04Speaker 2: the crunch. When the firestorms start, he that dude. Man,
- 13:08Speaker 2: when it's sunny outside, he just same what you need
- 13:13Speaker 2: I get back to you. His answer is I got
- 13:18Speaker 2: whatever you need, just ask me for Bring your burdens
- 13:22Speaker 2: to me and.
- 13:22Speaker 9: Leave it there regardless.
- 13:24Speaker 2: Thats what you anybody say when you take them to God,
- 13:27Speaker 2: you can leave it right there.
- 13:29Speaker 9: He don't give it back. He just don't do that.
- 13:33Speaker 9: I'm so glad he don't. Lord have mercy.
- 13:36Speaker 1: All right, great question, great answer to all right, coming
- 13:39Speaker 1: up thirty two minutes after the hour, we'll run that
- 13:42Speaker 1: prank back with Junior. Right after this. You're listening Steve
- 13:47Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. You've heard us talk about the benefits
- 13:54Speaker 1: of Globe Life's insurance. Globe Life has been protecting families
- 13:57Speaker 1: for generations. Globe Life is easy to buy, with rates
- 14:01Speaker 1: starting as low as three dollars and forty nine cents
- 14:04Speaker 1: a month. There is no medical exam, just a simple
- 14:08Speaker 1: application called Globelife today at one eight hundred two five
- 14:12Speaker 1: one fifty four hundred, or visit Globelife radio dot com again.
- 14:16Speaker 1: That's one eight hundred two five one fifty four hundred
- 14:20Speaker 1: or Globelife radio dot com. All right, and it's time
- 14:23Speaker 1: now to start your morning off with the nephew and
- 14:25Speaker 1: run that prank back? What you got for us?
- 14:27Speaker 7: Nest Jasmine Crockett getting prank by the nephew.
- 14:30Speaker 9: Let's go Hello, Hello.
- 14:32Speaker 7: I'm trying to reach Jasmine Jasmin Crockett.
- 14:34Speaker 11: Yeah, who is this?
- 14:35Speaker 7: This is Tars. This is Tars. I'm president over here
- 14:38Speaker 7: at at OBB out of the Dallas Chapter.
- 14:41Speaker 12: What is what is OBB? How did you get my number?
- 14:45Speaker 8: Okay?
- 14:45Speaker 7: I got your number from Benjamin Crump. He gave me
- 14:48Speaker 7: your number. And OBB is our Black Businesses I've met
- 14:52Speaker 7: you before. Then you work at Lee Merrit's offer for
- 14:54Speaker 7: a while.
- 14:55Speaker 12: Still right the term work together for a Yeah, we
- 14:57Speaker 12: worked together for a second.
- 14:58Speaker 7: Yeah, Okay, I was at working at least place. I
- 15:01Speaker 7: think you had just gotten there when I was leaving.
- 15:03Speaker 7: But I wanted to give you a call because here
- 15:06Speaker 7: at OBB we got a bit of a problem. Now.
- 15:08Speaker 7: We were about to get an award from the Dallas
- 15:11Speaker 7: Morning News.
- 15:12Speaker 8: We was about to get up.
- 15:14Speaker 12: That's awesome.
- 15:15Speaker 7: Well, no, we didn't get it. So we was about
- 15:17Speaker 7: to get a Benchmark Business Award, which which claim with
- 15:20Speaker 7: a two million dollar grant. But we could help a
- 15:23Speaker 7: whole lot of black businesses. Now the problem is we
- 15:25Speaker 7: was denied that, and they're saying they've denied us from
- 15:29Speaker 7: some some stupid that you said on TV. So they're
- 15:33Speaker 7: saying that we got denied of a benchmark business award.
- 15:36Speaker 7: They're supposed to give us two million dollars. Was gonna
- 15:38Speaker 7: help a lot of business with this, but that you
- 15:41Speaker 7: said on TV, and now they hesitant on giving black
- 15:44Speaker 7: organizations any kind of front.
- 15:46Speaker 12: What ain't nothing that I said. It's probably something that
- 15:49Speaker 12: Trump then said, it ain't got nothing to.
- 15:51Speaker 7: Do with me at the end of the day, we
- 15:53Speaker 7: need you not to say nothing for the next four
- 15:55Speaker 7: years because this cans created a big problem.
- 15:57Speaker 12: Yeah, I said, I don't even know. I'm gonna have
- 16:00Speaker 12: to direct you to my staff. I only continued this
- 16:03Speaker 12: conversation because you said that you knew Benjamin Crump, and
- 16:08Speaker 12: Crump is like a big brother of mine, so if
- 16:11Speaker 12: he gave you my number, he does not do that lightly.
- 16:14Speaker 12: So I'm not really sure what's.
- 16:16Speaker 8: Going on a friend of mine.
- 16:19Speaker 7: The problem is that that you're saying there is the
- 16:22Speaker 7: problem that I got, and I'm trying to get you
- 16:24Speaker 7: to be quiet. For you, some of these Republicans is
- 16:27Speaker 7: good white folks.
- 16:28Speaker 12: You know what I'm saying, Oh oh, we'll name them
- 16:32Speaker 12: for me.
- 16:33Speaker 7: I mean, I don't help them.
- 16:34Speaker 12: But nevertheless, but nevertheless, I don't know how you got
- 16:37Speaker 12: my number. And I'm gonna have to have a conversation
- 16:40Speaker 12: with ben because we have never had this type of situation.
- 16:44Speaker 12: And I am sorry that you felt like I had
- 16:47Speaker 12: something to do with you losing your award. Listen, I
- 16:50Speaker 12: want all my black businesses to survive and thrive, and
- 16:54Speaker 12: so if there's anything that.
- 16:54Speaker 7: We can what are you doing and what are you
- 16:57Speaker 7: doing JAF What are you doing for black business?
- 16:59Speaker 9: What are you doing?
- 17:00Speaker 12: I am listen, I do a ton If you are
- 17:03Speaker 12: familiar with the leadership under Pete Budadesh with the Department
- 17:06Speaker 12: of Transportation. The things that we did was we tried
- 17:10Speaker 12: to insulate black businesses from an incoming an incoming crazy
- 17:15Speaker 12: regime like the one that we've had to make sure
- 17:17Speaker 12: that they could still get those contracts to be able
- 17:19Speaker 12: to go out and work on these big infrastructure projects
- 17:22Speaker 12: and things like that. And I honestly have a great
- 17:24Speaker 12: relationship with the black businesses in my community. I'm surprised
- 17:27Speaker 12: that I've never met you. I worked with the Black
- 17:30Speaker 12: Chamber of Business and we always do events together and
- 17:34Speaker 12: I would love to bring you in your organization after
- 17:36Speaker 12: the fall. But this I gotta go. But you can
- 17:40Speaker 12: call my office and my staff can help you.
- 17:42Speaker 7: So you got now, you ain't got time for black people.
- 17:44Speaker 7: You ain't got time to talk to me.
- 17:46Speaker 9: Now, now you've got to go.
- 17:47Speaker 1: You got to run.
- 17:48Speaker 12: I always ask something, but this is getting a little
- 17:50Speaker 12: bit more hostile then I typically like to deal with.
- 17:54Speaker 12: Because if you've seen me, I know how to pop off,
- 17:56Speaker 12: and I don't want to pop off because I understand
- 17:59Speaker 12: your frustration. You're talking about losing two million dollars, so
- 18:03Speaker 12: I get it. I would rather be productive and figure
- 18:06Speaker 12: out how we can get that money back for you.
- 18:08Speaker 12: I know people at Dallas Morning News, and so hopefully
- 18:13Speaker 12: I can assist you with that. But I can assure
- 18:15Speaker 12: you that that money doesn't have anything to do with
- 18:18Speaker 12: me and anything that I've said.
- 18:20Speaker 7: They're saying this, They saying this is behads you definitely
- 18:25Speaker 7: said you said on TV, and this is the reason why,
- 18:29Speaker 7: this is the reason why they're holding back on giving
- 18:30Speaker 7: us the grant.
- 18:31Speaker 9: From my organization.
- 18:33Speaker 1: Okay, and I'm sure.
- 18:35Speaker 7: This probably started when you got on there with that
- 18:37Speaker 7: white lady with that bleach blonde, bad built beach body.
- 18:40Speaker 2: When you did.
- 18:41Speaker 7: That, that's probably what created the problem.
- 18:43Speaker 12: On now, I don't think so. You know, honestly, that
- 18:48Speaker 12: was a white woman at work that disrespected me, and
- 18:51Speaker 12: I got nothing beloved when I call mart a bleach blonde,
- 18:55Speaker 12: bad built bush body. So if it offended you, I
- 18:59Speaker 12: don't know if you blonde or a bleacher or a
- 19:01Speaker 12: bad build, I don't know. But I will say that
- 19:05Speaker 12: a lot of people were happy that I stood up
- 19:07Speaker 12: to a bully and the same way you and your
- 19:09Speaker 12: organization are being bullied out of y'all's money. I am
- 19:12Speaker 12: going to absolutely make sure that I fight those bullies
- 19:16Speaker 12: back on your behalf. So you should just take from
- 19:19Speaker 12: that moment and recognize that I cannot be pushed around
- 19:23Speaker 12: by anybody.
- 19:24Speaker 7: You messed up all our money and you're trying now
- 19:26Speaker 7: you're trying to figure out why I'm upset about it. Yeah,
- 19:28Speaker 7: I'm upset about it. I'm trying to get you to understand.
- 19:31Speaker 7: But really, honestly, for the next four year, we need
- 19:33Speaker 7: you to sit down and be quiet. That's what we

- 23:03Speaker 9: Who wants to do it? Okay? So what here you
- 23:09Speaker 9: calling me?

- 23:38Speaker 2: don't mean to sound spiritual about it, but you best
- 23:41Speaker 2: believe this too shall pass. And all this is gonna
- 23:45Speaker 2: be a bunch of mess. It's all this is. So

- 23:50Speaker 2: Don't call me in and ask me should you sing?
- 23:53Speaker 9: Well wait a minute, now, I am not seeing free.

- 30:39Speaker 1: a breakup can be horrible when you're the one getting jumped.
- 30:42Speaker 1: I mean, we've all been there, we know how it feels.
- 30:44Speaker 1: But being the breaker upper isn't always easy. That's not
- 30:48Speaker 1: always easy, right, yeah, because you're the one that's going
- 30:53Speaker 1: to hurt someone else. You know that you care about.
- 30:57Speaker 1: You know, you can make a second guess to yourself
- 31:00Speaker 1: and wonder if you're really doing the right thing. But
- 31:04Speaker 1: ghosting isn't cool like texting someone to break up. Okay,
- 31:08Speaker 1: so here are some some decent ways to break up,
- 31:10Speaker 1: according to Cosmopolitan magazine. All right, this is about breaking

- 32:05Speaker 9: You like what I like? What I you want to
- 32:08Speaker 9: go where I want to go.

- 56:46Speaker 9: you here. It is Strawberry Letter.
- 56:49Speaker 1: Thank you, nephew. Subject my boyfriend puts his friends first,
- 56:53Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley. I've been dating a man for almost
- 56:55Speaker 1: two years and he has a lot of female friends.
- 57:00Speaker 1: I hung out with all of them, and at first
- 57:02Speaker 1: I tried to act like a team player, but I
- 57:05Speaker 1: see he has no respect for boundaries in this relationship.
- 57:08Speaker 1: He has a lot of house parties, or his friends
- 57:11Speaker 1: will come over and do impromptu cookouts no matter what
- 57:14Speaker 1: we have planned. He drops everything to entertain them. He
- 57:18Speaker 1: calls and invites females over to his house whenever he's
- 57:21Speaker 1: having a get together. I've told him that his single
- 57:24Speaker 1: friends are going to cause him to be a single
- 57:26Speaker 1: man too. Fast forward to last weekend and he and
- 57:29Speaker 1: I went out Friday night and we didn't make plans
- 57:32Speaker 1: for Saturday, so I got up and went to the mall.
- 57:35Speaker 1: As I left out, he told me that he wanted
- 57:38Speaker 1: to have a cookout, something small. I went to the mall,
- 57:41Speaker 1: then home to take a nap, and then to my
- 57:44Speaker 1: boyfriend's house. There were new girls there that I had
- 57:47Speaker 1: never met, and one of them greeted me as if
- 57:49Speaker 1: I as if she was a lady of the house.
- 57:52Speaker 1: My boyfriend ran over to intervene because he knows me.
- 57:56Speaker 1: Three females were in his kitchen, cooking and make drinks,
- 58:00Speaker 1: and very comfortable in his home. The cutest one yelled
- 58:04Speaker 1: when her song came on and she ran out to
- 58:06Speaker 1: the patio to dance with my man. She told him
- 58:10Speaker 1: that was their song from college, and he told her
- 58:13Speaker 1: that he played the song just for her. Of course,
- 58:16Speaker 1: he said, I was blowing things out of proportion. After
- 58:19Speaker 1: I quietly cursed him out in the laundry room, he
- 58:23Speaker 1: tried to assure me that they all went to college
- 58:26Speaker 1: together and it's innocent. He asked if two of the
- 58:29Speaker 1: girls could crash at his house. I said no, and
- 58:33Speaker 1: he said he had already told him they could, and
- 58:35Speaker 1: he didn't want to be rude. Is this all just
- 58:39Speaker 1: innocent fun or is he playing me for a fool?
- 58:41Speaker 1: In my face? Wow, this guy is not your boyfriend.
- 58:47Speaker 1: You called him your man and everything, But guess what,
- 58:50Speaker 1: he's everybody's man. He's everybody's boyfriend, all his college girlfriends.
- 58:55Speaker 1: You're not number one in his life. You're not a
- 58:57Speaker 1: priority in his life. These women are way too familiar
- 59:02Speaker 1: to be considered just his college friends. He had a
- 59:05Speaker 1: past with a few of them. You can believe that
- 59:08Speaker 1: they're saying things like ooh, that sa our song and
- 59:11Speaker 1: then dancing with him, running out to dance with him
- 59:13Speaker 1: on the patio, sleeping over and stuff, and acting like
- 59:18Speaker 1: they're the ladies of the house. They're all in the
- 59:20Speaker 1: kitchen when you his supposed girlfriend comes in. They don't
- 59:23Speaker 1: even know you, let alone respect you. I mean, you know, yeah,
- 59:28Speaker 1: you said you hung out with them, but they don't
- 59:30Speaker 1: seem to have a clue who you really are in
- 59:33Speaker 1: its life because guess what, he hasn't told him about you.
- 59:36Speaker 1: He didn't claim you in front of them when he
- 59:38Speaker 1: had a perfect opportunity. Okay, this is not looking good
- 59:42Speaker 1: for you and him and this relationship going forward, and
- 59:45Speaker 1: you need to let him know that. But of course
- 59:48Speaker 1: he will dismiss your feelings and tell you you're blowing
- 59:52Speaker 1: things out of proportion. Again, you may as well be
- 59:55Speaker 1: one of the random chicks at the barbecue for all
- 59:58Speaker 1: it matters, because he's done nothing to show you or
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: them otherwise. After two years, this is what it is.
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: I mean, you're just one of the girls to him.
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: So I suggest to you that you don't waste another
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: second of your time with him and move on. Let
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: him have his female friends he's not worth it. You
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: deserve to be special to someone, just not him, Steve.
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: I'm just I'm amazed. I'm just simply amazed him. I
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: don't know how many times I said on this show,
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: but y'all write these letters to this show. You already
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: know what I've said on this topic before. I've said
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: it over and over. I'm assuming that people write into
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: the show because they're fans of the show and they
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: watch and they listen to the show.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 1:00:45Speaker 9: And I assume that.
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: People write into an Distrawberry letter because they know that
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: we give out our different takes and advice on these letters.
- 1:00:54Speaker 9: It's not always advice. Sometimes it's just my take.
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: Now surely does between the two of us try to
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: offer the most advice. I sometimes just give you my
- 1:01:04Speaker 2: take because sometimes I don't think you need advice. I
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: just think you just need to hear your stupid letter
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: red back to you. That's how I feel about it. Sometimes.
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: To me, sometimes I just take it and you type it.
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: You set that right and just took the time out.
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: This letter right here is coming from a person who's
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: obviously listened to the show before. And so now I
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: gotta tell you we've gone over this, So here we
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: go again. My boyfriend puts his friends first. Just Stephen Shell,
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: I've been dating a man for almost two years and
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: he has a lot of female friends. Stop right there,
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: let's just go over this line right here. I'm dating
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: a man that has a lot of female friends.
- 1:01:46Speaker 9: I have told you.
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: Every opportunity I get on this show that men are
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: incapable of having female friends that they have been attracted
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: to or are currently attracted to. We are incapable of that.
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: I ain't gonna tell you no more, but it looks
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: like I have to tell you again because this is
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: what this led about.
- 1:02:13Speaker 9: Right here. You don't believe fat meat, greasy, Well, let
- 1:02:17Speaker 9: me pull the grease out the paying for you.
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: I hang out with all of them, and at first
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: I try to act like a team player, but I
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: see he has no respect for boundaries in this relationship.
- 1:02:30Speaker 9: You help, ma'am.
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: You know why he don't have no respect for the
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: boundaries in the relationship because you don't have any boundaries.
- 1:02:37Speaker 9: See, you went along with all of this, You condone it.
- 1:02:40Speaker 9: You hang out with all of them.
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: See you can't put the velvet rope up, and then
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: don't expect nobody to step over it. You gotta have
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: barbla old fence if you're serious. But you got a
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: little velvet rope with the clip on it. Anybody take
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: that off. He don't respect the boundaries because you don't
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: have any. When we come back, it's some more of
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: the same.
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: All right, Steve, we'll have part two of your response
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour Strawberry
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: letter subject my boyfriend puts his friends. First. We'll get
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: back into it right after this. You're listening Hardy Morning show.
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: Do you think astronauts fight over elbow room? Probably because
- 1:03:23Speaker 2: advanced tech doesn't always mean more space. Until now, introduce
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: it the Hondai Ionic nine, a three row electric suv
- 1:03:32Speaker 2: with over three hundred miles of range, ultra fast charging capability,
- 1:03:37Speaker 2: and lots of space.
- 1:03:38Speaker 7: The all new Hondai Ionic nine face in an ev

- 1:03:51Speaker 1: All right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: My boyfriend puts his friends First.
- 1:03:57Speaker 9: Here's another letter about a woman with a man that
- 1:04:00Speaker 9: has female friends, and it done created a problem. I
- 1:04:05Speaker 9: done told y'all.
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: Over and over and over on this show. See, I
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: don't care if you agree with Uncle Steve or agree
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: with what I'm saying. Jesus, facts and the proof keep
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: coming in in all these letters. This man has female friends.
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: That ain't what we're capable of doing. But okay, let's
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: try it. And he has a lot of female friends.
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: I hang out with all of them, So once again,
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: you condone this. At first, I try to act like
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: a team player, but I see he has no respect
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: for boundaries in his relationship. Once again, he has no
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: boundaries for the relationship because you don't have any boundaries
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: in the relationship.
- 1:04:41Speaker 9: See you remember you said you hang out with all
- 1:04:43Speaker 9: of them. You've been going along with this.
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: He has a lot of house parties, and his friends
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: come over and do impromptu cookouts. Okay, so now you
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: got a man that's got some women that can pop
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: ey and just start cooking at his house that you're
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: hoping one day becomes y'all's house yellow and they do
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: impromptu cookouts no matter what we have planned. That's interesting.
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: He drops everything to entertain them. Oh you mean he's
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: prioritized these fine female friends over you. Oh okay, I'm sorry.
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: Maybe I didn't make myself clear about this. He calls
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: and invites females over to his house whenever he's having
- 1:05:20Speaker 2: to get together. I told him that his single friends
- 1:05:23Speaker 2: are gonna cause him to be a single man too.
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: But it ain't because you still with him. So nice bluff, lady,
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: But he keeps calling your bluff. You know why, because
- 1:05:34Speaker 2: he keeps calling these women and you ain't gonna do
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: a thing about it. Fast forward to last weekend and
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: he and I went out Friday night and we didn't
- 1:05:44Speaker 2: make plans for Saturday.
- 1:05:45Speaker 9: So I got up went to the mall.
- 1:05:47Speaker 2: As I left out, I was told that he wanted
- 1:05:51Speaker 2: to have a cookout, something small. So I went to
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: the mall, then home to take a nap, and then
- 1:05:57Speaker 2: I went over to my boyfriend's house. That were new
- 1:05:59Speaker 2: girls there, surprised. Why not have some new girls there?
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: You ain't having a problem.
- 1:06:05Speaker 9: With the old ones.
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: You give me an inch, I'll take a yard. You
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: give me a little rope, I'm gonna start pulling a
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: lot of boats in with the rope. So now some
- 1:06:14Speaker 2: new girls at the house. Oh I never met, and
- 1:06:18Speaker 2: one of them greeted me as if she was the
- 1:06:20Speaker 2: lady at the house. She didn't greet you as the
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: lady at the house as she was. She was in
- 1:06:25Speaker 2: her mind at that particular moment, lady at the house.
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: She didn't even know who you was. Hey girl, how
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: you doing?
- 1:06:30Speaker 9: Welcome?
- 1:06:30Speaker 3: Come on in.
- 1:06:31Speaker 2: We all set up in the back. You look as
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: stupid you're at the house taking naps. My boyfriend ran
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: over the intervening because.
- 1:06:38Speaker 9: He knows me, know what.
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: No, all he got to do is smooth it over
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: with you, and he gonna make you lick this up
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: and like it too. That's what he know about you.
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: Let me run over here and make her lick this
- 1:06:49Speaker 2: and like this too. And that's just what he did too.
- 1:06:53Speaker 2: Three females were in the kitchen, cooking and making drinks
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: and very comfortable in his home.
- 1:06:57Speaker 9: That's because they've been there before.
- 1:06:59Speaker 2: The cutest one and yell when her song came on
- 1:07:02Speaker 2: and she ran to the patio to dance with my man.
- 1:07:04Speaker 9: She told him that was the song from college. He
- 1:07:06Speaker 9: told her he played that song just for her.
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: How many times I got to tell you, we can't
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: be friends with no fine women. I told you that,
- 1:07:17Speaker 2: not out there dancing on the patio to that song.
- 1:07:21Speaker 2: He played it just for her, That's our song. Who
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: did you say ran out there the cutest one? I
- 1:07:30Speaker 2: told you they ain't what we do. Of course, he said,
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: I was blowing things out of proportion. After I quietly
- 1:07:38Speaker 2: cursed him out in the launder room. See do you
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: do all your business behind closed doors? He in your face,
- 1:07:44Speaker 2: all up front. You do all the cussing in the
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: launder room quietly if you want to. He out on
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: the patio dancing with the music turn up. You see
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: the difference between y'all two. You try to respect him.
- 1:07:56Speaker 2: He ain't got none for you. I just sure me
- 1:08:01Speaker 2: that they all went to college together, and it was
- 1:08:04Speaker 2: in innocent. They did all go to college together. I
- 1:08:08Speaker 2: don't know even the one they had the favorite son
- 1:08:12Speaker 2: they were screwing.
- 1:08:13Speaker 9: It's not innocent, okay.
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: He asked if two of the girls could crackh he
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: gonna google he as two of the girls could crash
- 1:08:21Speaker 2: at his house.
- 1:08:23Speaker 9: I said no, he said, he already told him they couldn't.
- 1:08:27Speaker 9: He ain't want to be rude. Wait, a minute.
- 1:08:29Speaker 2: Hold up, what so you don't understand how stupid are you?
- 1:08:32Speaker 9: Lady?
- 1:08:33Speaker 2: Let me ask you just how stupid you are? You
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: are always an after thought. Yeah, y'all can stay over here. Hey, babies,
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: they don't care if they stay over here. No, well,
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: I already told me they could do that because it's
- 1:08:47Speaker 2: his house. It's not y'all's house. He'd have told him
- 1:08:51Speaker 2: they can stay. So now all y'all gonna be in
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: there sleeping together. Wait a minute, year went over. You
- 1:08:59Speaker 2: done went along with the cookouts. Let me see if
- 1:09:02Speaker 2: I can press this button a little bit. You didn't
- 1:09:04Speaker 2: mind the girls come over. So guess what, I got
- 1:09:06Speaker 2: some new girls coming over.
- 1:09:09Speaker 9: You see what I'm saying.
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: I'm gonna keep pressing this button because I'm gonna make
- 1:09:12Speaker 2: you lick it and like it, which I'm capable of
- 1:09:15Speaker 2: of doing, and you're gonna go along with it. Now,
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: here's the question. It's just just all innocent funals. He
- 1:09:21Speaker 2: playing me for a fool in my face. Here's what
- 1:09:24Speaker 2: I want you to do, young lady. I want you
- 1:09:27Speaker 2: to go over to a mirror in your house. I
- 1:09:30Speaker 2: want you to look in that mirror, and I want
- 1:09:33Speaker 2: you to realize something that the face you see is
- 1:09:38Speaker 2: the fool.
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: See thank you so mad?
- 1:09:45Speaker 9: Tell Margine some girls is coming up on you.

- 1:10:48Speaker 1: So, Steve, I gotta ask you what's one of your funniest,
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: funniest summertime memories? And uh part two? What annoys you
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: the most about summer?
- 1:10:57Speaker 8: Two?
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: Interesting questions? Can't wait?
- 1:11:00Speaker 9: I don't know. I could just start. I guess what
- 1:11:02Speaker 9: annoys me the most about summer is.
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: It's too short.
- 1:11:09Speaker 9: Nah, Just what annoys me most.
- 1:11:12Speaker 2: About some is the activities it causes some people to
- 1:11:15Speaker 2: partake in that don't need to partake in. And it's
- 1:11:18Speaker 2: like some people shouldn't wear tank tops. I just think
- 1:11:23Speaker 2: summer brings out a look.
- 1:11:26Speaker 9: In some people. You know, I've often wanted. I tell
- 1:11:28Speaker 9: you when I discovered it.
- 1:11:29Speaker 2: You remember when you go to Disney All the time,
- 1:11:32Speaker 2: I kept going, where did they get these tank tops
- 1:11:36Speaker 2: with the armhole that extends all the way down.
- 1:11:40Speaker 9: To your belt.
- 1:11:41Speaker 2: No matter how big you are, the armhole shows your
- 1:11:45Speaker 2: whole side of your body. I discovered that they sell
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: them tank tops at Walmart.
- 1:11:52Speaker 9: I don't care how big you are. You can get
- 1:11:54Speaker 9: your arm in this tank top.
- 1:11:56Speaker 2: Now it might be tight round the stomach, but you're
- 1:12:00Speaker 2: gonna be able to get in his armhold.
- 1:12:03Speaker 9: That has always bothered me.
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: Yeah, your nephew had on one the other day like that.
- 1:12:10Speaker 9: Which it ain't time for him for that. It's it's
- 1:12:15Speaker 9: not time.
- 1:12:15Speaker 10: He ain't quite there.
- 1:12:18Speaker 9: See these sleeves I got on, Get.
- 1:12:20Speaker 10: You some sleeves.
- 1:12:21Speaker 2: Dog, you're not quite there. I know your little boy,
- 1:12:26Speaker 2: thank you strong, and that Jordan is nine. There are
- 1:12:31Speaker 2: those of us who know better also to watch white
- 1:12:37Speaker 2: men in the suburbs cut their lawn with them strapped sandals,
- 1:12:42Speaker 2: with them socks on. That's another thing that that summer
- 1:12:47Speaker 2: brings out that I almost want.
- 1:12:49Speaker 9: To stop and take your socks off. I just want
- 1:12:52Speaker 9: to say that.
- 1:12:53Speaker 8: But I.
- 1:12:56Speaker 2: Also there are people on beaches unclothed that really they
- 1:13:05Speaker 2: need to they need to be be be That's what
- 1:13:07Speaker 2: I'm saying, And that's really a beach band.
- 1:13:12Speaker 9: Beach band. There's some people that you know it needs
- 1:13:16Speaker 9: to listen to me.
- 1:13:17Speaker 2: Fellas if you to put on your swimming trunk and
- 1:13:20Speaker 2: you can no longer find the drawstring, yeah, that's probably
- 1:13:27Speaker 2: it's time. If you wear two pieces and we can
- 1:13:33Speaker 2: only find the top piece, we have a problem.
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: At the time, we have a problem. We're never asking
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: you about. Yes, I'm just.
- 1:13:44Speaker 9: Telling you asked me what aggravates me about something? I
- 1:13:47Speaker 9: was just telling you.
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: Hey, y'all, this is Monica, this is Hey, this is
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: Mary J. Blodo, This is Steven A.
- 1:13:54Speaker 9: Smith.
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: Hey, this is you have no idea what it is.
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: This is Carlos Miller and this may or may not
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: be either.
- 1:14:00Speaker 9: Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Steve, you
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: have to tell us this story. Uh you were talking
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: about at the mentoring camp.
- 1:14:14Speaker 2: Well, I was Jesus, you know, we was at the
- 1:14:18Speaker 2: men in camp this last year and the mothers were
- 1:14:22Speaker 2: in town at this facility having one of their sessions.
- 1:14:27Speaker 2: So I drove from the ranch down to the church
- 1:14:29Speaker 2: facility and now get in there, and they've been waiting
- 1:14:32Speaker 2: on me. And I saw him up and I'm talking
- 1:14:33Speaker 2: to the mothers. Now one of the mothers or two.
- 1:14:36Speaker 2: I was not sure one or two of them. I
- 1:14:39Speaker 2: couldn't hear and talk. They couldn't talk or I don't talk,
- 1:14:45Speaker 2: or I'm not really whatever they were, they be signed.
- 1:14:50Speaker 13: That's deaf.
- 1:14:52Speaker 9: I'm not sure.
- 1:14:53Speaker 2: I don't really, you know, keep up. So I'm in
- 1:14:55Speaker 2: here talking. So the lady up there standing off to the.
- 1:14:58Speaker 9: Side is signing.
- 1:15:00Speaker 2: Ain't nobody told me nothing? So I'm talking and she
- 1:15:04Speaker 2: just over there, Sonny. So I looked over there, and
- 1:15:06Speaker 2: now I ain't saying nothing. The first thing she kept on.
- 1:15:08Speaker 2: I turned around, I said, excuse me, what is you doing?
- 1:15:12Speaker 2: So now instead of talking wow, she keeps signing.
- 1:15:17Speaker 9: So I said, ma'am, I don't know what you're doing,
- 1:15:19Speaker 9: but sit down because I don't like all that I'm talking.
- 1:15:26Speaker 2: You know, I don't know what you over there doing
- 1:15:28Speaker 2: all that moving, So just come on sit down with
- 1:15:30Speaker 2: everybody else. So she smiled and kept on sign. Now
- 1:15:35Speaker 2: I noticed this lady down front is just staying up.
- 1:15:39Speaker 2: So I still ain't. I ain't did the math on
- 1:15:42Speaker 2: this ship. The women in the audience is covering their
- 1:15:47Speaker 2: mouth like no, this fool ain't.
- 1:15:50Speaker 9: Here.
- 1:15:51Speaker 2: And then I said, hey, look, I don't like all that.
- 1:15:53Speaker 2: Just come on sit down. So this woman was waving
- 1:15:57Speaker 2: at me with both hands like Steve, you know, wait,
- 1:16:00Speaker 2: even like two hunds, they're trying to get my attention.
- 1:16:02Speaker 2: I said, see, now, what did you do?
- 1:16:06Speaker 9: I said?
- 1:16:07Speaker 7: Hi?
- 1:16:07Speaker 9: I said, ok, everybody that I came in here, then
- 1:16:10Speaker 9: what is your double hand?
- 1:16:11Speaker 7: Hide?
- 1:16:11Speaker 9: For them ladies in that was.
- 1:16:13Speaker 2: Hollering, laughing, but they had they hand over their mouth
- 1:16:17Speaker 2: because they was all sitting.
- 1:16:18Speaker 9: Behind this lady.
- 1:16:20Speaker 2: And so finally this Moore lady said, Steve, look over
- 1:16:23Speaker 2: here at me, and I said, look at you.
- 1:16:26Speaker 9: For what she said? She signed it.
- 1:16:29Speaker 2: I said, wait a minute, let me stay something of y'all.
- 1:16:32Speaker 2: We sent all the PaperWorks out before you came here,
- 1:16:38Speaker 2: all the sign it you need to be drunk, all
- 1:16:40Speaker 2: that for you come in here. Uncle Tom, I said, man,
- 1:16:43Speaker 2: if you're gonna sit your So the lady was up
- 1:16:47Speaker 2: there looking at me signing.
- 1:16:48Speaker 9: She laughing. So the lady was sitting there, and the
- 1:16:52Speaker 9: lady said, Steve, Steve, look at me.
- 1:16:55Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:16:55Speaker 9: I said, look I'm looking at you.
- 1:16:57Speaker 2: Now what she said, Steve, That woman is signing because
- 1:17:01Speaker 2: one of the mother's in here death.
- 1:17:06Speaker 9: I said, who.
- 1:17:09Speaker 2: Them women in that audis had their hand over their mouth,
- 1:17:12Speaker 2: tears coming down, and they faith.
- 1:17:13Speaker 9: They said, no, this fool. She pointed at that lady
- 1:17:16Speaker 9: down front.
- 1:17:17Speaker 2: I said you death, and she ain't say nothing, right,
- 1:17:22Speaker 2: So I said, I said, as you death, So the
- 1:17:27Speaker 2: ladies said. And so then she looked at me and
- 1:17:29Speaker 2: nod her head. Because the lady said that to him,
- 1:17:31Speaker 2: I said, well, do you read lips? I said, cause
- 1:17:34Speaker 2: most people won't have trouble with me because you can
- 1:17:37Speaker 2: be cross the street to pick up what I'm saying.
- 1:17:40Speaker 2: And so we're sitting here and I said, listen to me,
- 1:17:44Speaker 2: I mean, I mean, really what they go, they can't
- 1:17:45Speaker 2: boycott us right now I'm on the radio, and if
- 1:17:48Speaker 2: they can't hear all, I'm just saying. I'm just saying,
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: comedically speaking, what is the fear of the boycott coming
- 1:17:58Speaker 2: from them? So he made me, thank you Jesus. And
- 1:18:02Speaker 2: so I'm sitting up in here. So I said, I said,
- 1:18:05Speaker 2: look at me. This is all you need to know.
- 1:18:08Speaker 2: I said, this is how I'm gonna show you a
- 1:18:10Speaker 2: sign if a five breakout.
- 1:18:12Speaker 9: Then I did the woosh, hush, yeah, if you see
- 1:18:17Speaker 9: the black people.
- 1:18:18Speaker 2: Then I pointed at my fight. Then I turned, I said,
- 1:18:24Speaker 2: we got to get the blank out of here. And
- 1:18:28Speaker 2: then I just started doing this. Here there black women.
- 1:18:32Speaker 2: I started doing the motion. The black women in that
- 1:18:35Speaker 2: room was howl Man. So Emma Smith's wife was there.

- 1:19:54Speaker 2: They hate them because it symbolizes an infestation.
- 1:20:00Speaker 9: It symbolizes day in your crill. You nasty.
- 1:20:05Speaker 2: It's just you can't you You can explain a mosquito,
- 1:20:08Speaker 2: but when a roach come across the table, you can't

- 1:24:26Speaker 1: break of the day. Right after this.
- 1:24:29Speaker 2: Hey, this is David Allen Greer, and you are listening
- 1:24:31Speaker 2: to mister Steve Harvey, the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:24:41Speaker 9: Do you think astronauts fight over elbow room?
- 1:24:44Speaker 2: Probably because advanced tech doesn't always mean more space. Until
- 1:24:49Speaker 2: now introduce it the Hondai Ionic nine, a three row
- 1:24:53Speaker 2: electric suv with over three hundred miles of rage, ultra
- 1:24:57Speaker 2: fast charging capability, and lots of space.
- 1:25:00Speaker 7: The all new Hondai Ion ignized space in an EV.
- 1:25:03Speaker 7: Visit Hondai USA dot com for more details. EPA estimated
- 1:25:07Speaker 7: rings for Ignite based on fully charged batteries for comparison
- 1:25:10Speaker 7: purpose only. Actual rings will vary based on several factors.
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: All right, see if here we are last break of
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: the day.
- 1:25:17Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, I got a several things on my
- 1:25:20Speaker 2: mind for closing today because I'm thinking, you know, first
- 1:25:29Speaker 2: of all, when it comes to people talking about you,
- 1:25:38Speaker 2: either behind your back on social media, however as a rumor,
- 1:25:46Speaker 2: however you want to call it, y'all, listen to me.
- 1:25:51Speaker 2: Stop taking time out of your day to address everything
- 1:25:56Speaker 2: about yourself that you know is not true. Listen, these people,
- 1:26:02Speaker 2: these haters, they have one design and that is to
- 1:26:05Speaker 2: slow you down or to make you think you ain't
- 1:26:07Speaker 2: who you really are, because the problem is they see
- 1:26:11Speaker 2: what you're doing, they can't and they jealous of it.
- 1:26:15Speaker 2: So now it's gonna be something wrong with who you
- 1:26:17Speaker 2: are and what you're doing and what you've accomplished. Stop
- 1:26:21Speaker 2: taking time out your day to address everything somebody say
- 1:26:26Speaker 2: about you, especially if you know it ain't true. Just
- 1:26:31Speaker 2: move on.
- 1:26:33Speaker 9: It's not even worth it, man, I'm gonna tell you man.
- 1:26:37Speaker 2: I used to spend some time taking into consideration what
- 1:26:41Speaker 2: people said about me it wasn't true, trying to explain myself,
- 1:26:45Speaker 2: figuring out what was the politically correct way to approach it,
- 1:26:49Speaker 2: getting a PR team together, How can I shut this down?
- 1:26:53Speaker 9: Can I get a cease and desist?
- 1:26:55Speaker 2: Can we do this right here? Do you know I
- 1:26:57Speaker 2: don't do none of that no more? And do you
- 1:26:59Speaker 2: know what it happen? My life is so much easier.
- 1:27:03Speaker 2: It's just so much easier because it don't matter what
- 1:27:08Speaker 2: they say, and what they say don't matter really at
- 1:27:14Speaker 2: the end of the day, y'all think about it, when
- 1:27:17Speaker 2: somebody's talking about you and it's not true, or when
- 1:27:21Speaker 2: somebody's talking about you trying to throw shade or hate, what.
- 1:27:25Speaker 9: Difference does it make.
- 1:27:28Speaker 2: It doesn't stop anything in your life unless you stop.
- 1:27:34Speaker 9: To address it.
- 1:27:38Speaker 2: Keep it moving, keep it moving, and let them watch
- 1:27:42Speaker 2: the show, because it ain't nothing they can do about it.
- 1:27:49Speaker 2: Because the truth about a hater is they're not decision makers.
- 1:27:52Speaker 2: They're not power brokers. They are not they are not
- 1:27:58Speaker 2: shakers and movers. There are none of that. You know,
- 1:28:05Speaker 2: when people talk about you, look, listen to me, man,
- 1:28:09Speaker 2: These people that won't let stuff got you. Gotta take
- 1:28:13Speaker 2: people like this into consideration. You see a person that
- 1:28:18Speaker 2: God constantly gives an opportunity to make a comeback of
- 1:28:22Speaker 2: God gives you an opportunity to take the high road.
- 1:28:25Speaker 2: And you see these people out here on social media
- 1:28:28Speaker 2: who refuse to take the high road no matter what,
- 1:28:33Speaker 2: who can't seem to let a certain situation go, who
- 1:28:38Speaker 2: are just out here every.
- 1:28:40Speaker 9: Time you turn around.
- 1:28:42Speaker 2: Is involved in some type of mess. And then on
- 1:28:48Speaker 2: top of that, they always the victim. You know, everybody's
- 1:28:54Speaker 2: grandmama that sold him this. All y'all's grandmother, mine included,
- 1:28:59Speaker 2: every old person.
- 1:29:00Speaker 9: That heard this.
- 1:29:02Speaker 2: Everybody ain't gonna tell the same lie. How many times
- 1:29:07Speaker 2: you have heard that? Do you know how true that is?
- 1:29:12Speaker 2: You know if you keep being in a situation and
- 1:29:17Speaker 2: it's always the other person's fault. Where are you gonna
- 1:29:20Speaker 2: turn them three fingers around just looking at you when
- 1:29:23Speaker 2: you got that index finger pointing it Tom and realize
- 1:29:26Speaker 2: it's probably you. It's you, sweetie. It ain't nobody else.
- 1:29:34Speaker 1: It's you.
- 1:29:36Speaker 9: Now, come on.
- 1:29:38Speaker 2: People can't keep cheering for that. And you can attach
- 1:29:43Speaker 2: all of the false narratives to it that you like.
- 1:29:49Speaker 2: You can try to make it about women. You can
- 1:29:53Speaker 2: try to make it about blacks, you can try to
- 1:29:56Speaker 2: make it about the Me Too movement, you can try
- 1:29:59Speaker 2: to make it about you anything you want to. But
- 1:30:02Speaker 2: at the end of the day, if it keeps resurfacing,
- 1:30:06Speaker 2: it's probably just you. And after a while, people are
- 1:30:11Speaker 2: gonna get hip to hater us. People are gonna get
- 1:30:14Speaker 2: hip to people that keep.
- 1:30:15Speaker 9: Crying the sky's falling, the sky's falling.
- 1:30:19Speaker 6: It's not.
- 1:30:21Speaker 2: The sky will never fall. You can holler at all
- 1:30:24Speaker 2: you want, but it won't, y'all. I have decided I've
- 1:30:31Speaker 2: had to talk to my children about this, and it's
- 1:30:34Speaker 2: hard because it's been hard for me sometimes.
- 1:30:37Speaker 9: But listen to me. Yeah, here we go, listen to me.
- 1:30:41Speaker 9: Stay on the wall. That's hard.
- 1:30:45Speaker 8: To do.
- 1:30:45Speaker 9: I know it is, but y'all, stay on the wall.
- 1:30:50Speaker 2: I know, when people is throwing rocks and arrows at you,
- 1:30:53Speaker 2: you want to climb down and deal with them. But
- 1:30:56Speaker 2: if God has blessed you and moved you far upward
- 1:31:01Speaker 2: and onward, stay up there on the wall.
- 1:31:05Speaker 9: Them rocks really don't hurt. Let me tell you something.
- 1:31:07Speaker 2: If you weigh up on the wall and somebody throw
- 1:31:09Speaker 2: a rock up there, even if it hits you, how
- 1:31:11Speaker 2: bad it hurts, a rock thrown up doesn't have forward
- 1:31:16Speaker 2: momentum after a certain point. I get a lot of
- 1:31:19Speaker 2: rocks thrown in me while I'm on the wall. Some
- 1:31:22Speaker 2: of them hit me, but they have no impact.
- 1:31:25Speaker 6: Man.
- 1:31:26Speaker 2: But if I come down off that wall and get
- 1:31:28Speaker 2: our level with these haters and these low level people,
- 1:31:30Speaker 2: these bottom feeders, guess what them rocks can have power.
- 1:31:35Speaker 2: Stay on the wall, keep the faith, don't worry about it,
- 1:31:40Speaker 2: and know that if God blesses you, it ain't a
- 1:31:43Speaker 2: dog gone thing nobody can do about it. And that's
- 1:31:46Speaker 2: the real truth. Keep on shining, man, Hey, y'all have
- 1:31:49Speaker 2: a great day talking God he loved to hear from it.
- 1:32:00Speaker 8: All.
