- 0:00Speaker 1: So they're calling it the Week from Hell for Joe
- 0:04Speaker 1: Biden's administration, a week that was played by setbacks, a
- 0:09Speaker 1: week that was plagued by many different issues. The White
- 0:15Speaker 1: House is now trying to get back on track by
- 0:18Speaker 1: ordering twenty million anti viral pills as the supply is
- 0:23Speaker 1: quote limited, and the Surgeon General went out on TV
- 0:30Speaker 1: Murphy saying that the Supreme Court of the United States
- 0:33Speaker 1: America's vaccine mandate block is a setback for public health.
- 0:40Speaker 1: Who cares if you're trouncing all over the constitution United
- 0:44Speaker 1: States American people's rights right. Apparently we have a surgeon
- 0:48Speaker 1: general who believes, saying on ABC this week that the
- 0:52Speaker 1: Supreme Court blocking the Biden administration's vaccine mandate for large
- 0:55Speaker 1: businesses a setback for public health. So screw your freedoms
- 0:58Speaker 1: and rights. If we decide we can do something in
- 1:01Speaker 1: the name of public health, we should be able to
- 1:02Speaker 1: do it in the Supreme Court should stay out of it,
- 1:05Speaker 1: or a safe court at high risk and ultimately save
- 1:07Speaker 1: their lives. You talk about vaccinations and how important they are,
- 1:11Speaker 1: they certainly are and boosters as well. The Supreme Court
- 1:13Speaker 1: blocked the mandate for large businesses something you said on
- 1:16Speaker 1: this program in November was necessary and appropriate, and that
- 1:21Speaker 1: was before the omicron surge. So what does plan B. Well,
- 1:28Speaker 1: the news about the workplace requirement being blocked was very disappointing, Martha.
- 1:34Speaker 1: It was a setback for public health because what these requirements?
- 1:37Speaker 1: But I love this a setback for public health. What
- 1:40Speaker 1: is your definition of public health? Anything that you decide
- 1:44Speaker 1: must be done and people must do is public health. Now,
- 1:47Speaker 1: So if you decide that you don't like guns, and
- 1:49Speaker 1: you do it in the name of public health, can
- 1:51Speaker 1: you ban all guns using this logic? Yes. You know
- 1:54Speaker 1: a lot of conservatives like myself warn you about the
- 1:57Speaker 1: slippery slope of a cause and effect and this is
- 2:02Speaker 1: a prime example of that. If you allow the left
- 2:05Speaker 1: to use quote public health to do whatever the hell
- 2:09Speaker 1: they want to do, this is exactly what will happen. Okay,
- 2:16Speaker 1: on a regular basis, this is what is going to happen.
- 2:22Speaker 1: This is there, This will be the ball game. We
- 2:25Speaker 1: don't like guns, and we declare them a public health
- 2:28Speaker 1: issue slash nuisance. So because we have decided to declare
- 2:32Speaker 1: them a public health nuisance, we can now ban guns.
- 2:38Speaker 1: They would immediately do it with ar fifteens. They would
- 2:41Speaker 1: then do it with semi automatic weapons, and they would
- 2:43Speaker 1: declare them all quote assault weapons, right, because that's what
- 2:47Speaker 1: they do. They would tell you that they're evil, they
- 2:50Speaker 1: would tell you that they are a public health crisis
- 2:52Speaker 1: in this country, and they would ban it. I've said
- 2:56Speaker 1: for a long time I think you should have the
- 2:58Speaker 1: right to smoke cigarettes. I also think every time you
- 3:00Speaker 1: buy that pack of cigarettes, you should sign your life
- 3:03Speaker 1: away saying I know I'm buying a pride that's going
- 3:04Speaker 1: to kill me. And so then if you show up
- 3:07Speaker 1: and you need public hospitals or you need the hospitals
- 3:10Speaker 1: and you can't pay your own bills and you don't
- 3:12Speaker 1: have insurance and you haven't planned for that treatment, that
- 3:14Speaker 1: we should then say good luck. You signed your life
- 3:17Speaker 1: away nine thousand, three hundred and twenty seven times when
- 3:20Speaker 1: you bought cigarettes you knew you were killing yourself. There's
- 3:23Speaker 1: accountability or responsibility for that. Now people say that's inhumane.
- 3:26Speaker 1: How can you do that? How could you turn somebody
- 3:28Speaker 1: away for smoking. I believe you should have the freedom
- 3:31Speaker 1: and the right to decide what is best for you, Okay,
- 3:35Speaker 1: I really do. I believe you should have the right
- 3:37Speaker 1: to decide what is best for you. I believe you
- 3:39Speaker 1: should have the freedom to smoke cigarettes and then decide
- 3:45Speaker 1: that it's not my job to take care of you
- 3:47Speaker 1: if you do get sick from those cigarettes. That's the
- 3:51Speaker 1: part about this. I also think it's a very important accountability.
- 3:55Speaker 1: But what the left will do is they'll start taking
- 3:57Speaker 1: away things from you. Those you remember in New York
- 4:00Speaker 1: And this is just an example of what they will
- 4:02Speaker 1: do if you give them this, this term public health
- 4:10Speaker 1: as a reason to do whatever it is they want
- 4:12Speaker 1: to do, saying that it's public health. We're doing this
- 4:16Speaker 1: public health. Remember when they start taxing sodas cokes literally
- 4:22Speaker 1: they started taxing cokes at a different rate, and then
- 4:25Speaker 1: they started limiting the size of those cokes that you
- 4:29Speaker 1: could buy. They started limiting the size of products that
- 4:33Speaker 1: you could purchase. You could say we have an OBEs
- 4:37Speaker 1: problem in this country, and you could back it up
- 4:38Speaker 1: with stats and figures. There's no doubt. So should you
- 4:42Speaker 1: be able to start banning certain products? Should you ban barbecue?
- 4:47Speaker 1: I bring it up because I have a barbecue restaurant.
- 4:50Speaker 1: Should you be able to ban fried food? All fried
- 4:52Speaker 1: foods is a public health nuisance? Should you be able
- 4:55Speaker 1: to ban French fried's health. Should you be able to
- 4:57Speaker 1: ban fast food? Because the majority of fast food is
- 5:01Speaker 1: a public health nuisance? Right, it's a public health issue.
- 5:04Speaker 1: If you allow people to ban things in the name
- 5:06Speaker 1: of public health, where does it end? Where does it stop?
- 5:11Speaker 1: A lot of people get hurt on motorcycles. Should we
- 5:14Speaker 1: ban motorcycles in the name of public health? You could
- 5:18Speaker 1: make a very compelling argument for that. Should you ban
- 5:23Speaker 1: hunting because sometimes people get hurt while hunting, you could
- 5:27Speaker 1: obviously make a argument for that. In fact, you could
- 5:34Speaker 1: make a public health argument for almost everything. You could
- 5:38Speaker 1: make a public health argument when it comes to the
- 5:40Speaker 1: issue of banning almost everything. Does that mean that you
- 5:45Speaker 1: should do it? I would argue, No, that does not
- 5:47Speaker 1: mean that you should do it. People should have the
- 5:49Speaker 1: right in the freedom to choose and decide what they
- 5:51Speaker 1: want to do. But you hurt it there From the
- 5:53Speaker 1: Surgeon General, he says that he believes that basically, you
- 5:57Speaker 1: should be able to burn the countsitution of the United
- 6:01Speaker 1: States of America in the name of public health at
- 6:05Speaker 1: any point, anytime you decide it's convenient for you. In
- 6:08Speaker 1: your argument, let's go back to the issue of global warming.
- 6:12Speaker 1: Should you be able to ban fossil fuels in the
- 6:18Speaker 1: name of public health? Should you be able to be
- 6:20Speaker 1: ban eight cylinder engines? Should you be able to ban drilling?
- 6:28Speaker 1: Should you be able to ban coal mining? Should you
- 6:30Speaker 1: be able to I mean think about where does where
- 6:32Speaker 1: does the list stop in the name of public health?
- 6:35Speaker 1: Because all of those things you could easily make an
- 6:38Speaker 1: argument that you should be able to ban in the
- 6:41Speaker 1: name of public health. Tell me how I'm wrong. You
- 6:49Speaker 1: should be able to ban anything if you listen to
- 6:51Speaker 1: these guys, and that's exactly what he's saying here, Well,
- 6:53Speaker 1: we should we need to ban it. This is public health. Folks,
- 6:58Speaker 1: ultimately are helpful for Is I teking the community at
- 7:01Speaker 1: large than making our workplaces safer for workers as well
- 7:05Speaker 1: as for customers. There it is. There's your argument. Anything
- 7:09Speaker 1: we want to ban because we believe it will make
- 7:11Speaker 1: you safer, or the customer safer, or the people safer,
- 7:13Speaker 1: or the kids. All right, you want to go back
- 7:15Speaker 1: to the slippery slope. Let's go back to vaccine mandates
- 7:18Speaker 1: for children. Well, we believe that your child should be
- 7:22Speaker 1: vaccinated from COVID nineteen, and we believe that it should
- 7:24Speaker 1: be mandated because the federal government believes that we control
- 7:26Speaker 1: your children instead of you, and we're going to justify
- 7:29Speaker 1: it by using public health as the reason. Why shouldn't
- 7:33Speaker 1: that happen? Why not, folks, seriously, why not shouldn't you
- 7:43Speaker 1: be able to do that and that scenario for that reason?
- 7:46Speaker 1: I would, I mean, how could you? How could you
- 7:48Speaker 1: possibly say no to that logic? In the name of
- 7:53Speaker 1: public health. We believe that all of your children should
- 7:57Speaker 1: be vaccinated to a mandate. They cannot go to school,
- 7:59Speaker 1: they cannot do curricular activities that can't function society, and
- 8:02Speaker 1: we're doing it in the name of public health. Game over.
- 8:06Speaker 1: Why not? Seriously? Why not? Why? Why? I mean, that's
- 8:13Speaker 1: what they will say next. How the President United States
- 8:17Speaker 1: of America even said and told businesses to defy the
- 8:20Speaker 1: Supreme Court's ruling, and he said so in the name
- 8:25Speaker 1: of public health. Supreme Court struck down the present and
- 8:31Speaker 1: is weak from hell, which I haven't even gotten into
- 8:34Speaker 1: all the other issues yet, and I will. But the
- 8:37Speaker 1: Supreme Court struck down the present saying he's trouncing on
- 8:40Speaker 1: the freedoms of the American people. And the present still
- 8:43Speaker 1: came out and said, yes, I am, and I'm willing
- 8:45Speaker 1: to and I'm saying do it anyway. He's not afraid
- 8:50Speaker 1: to admit it because he doesn't believe that you deserve
- 8:52Speaker 1: these freedoms, and he doesn't believe that the Constitution has
- 8:57Speaker 1: any real meaning in this country apparently any longer. And
- 9:01Speaker 1: he's even advocating and telling everybody in this country to
- 9:06Speaker 1: not pay attention, telling private companies and not pay attention
- 9:10Speaker 1: to the Constitution, telling them to break the law and
- 9:14Speaker 1: put mandates on their people anyway. This is exactly what
- 9:18Speaker 1: a tyrant would say. And having a Surgeon General that
- 9:21Speaker 1: comes out and says that vaccine mandates are needed regardless
- 9:28Speaker 1: of what the Constitution said, tells you he's a tyrant
- 9:30Speaker 1: as well. Why did the Supreme Court block Bidens vaccine
- 9:35Speaker 1: mandate for business because it violated the constitutional rights and
- 9:39Speaker 1: the freedoms of business owners and of citizens. That's why, Okay,
- 9:47Speaker 1: understand why they did what they did. Understand why they
- 9:50Speaker 1: did it. People need to understand this. This is why
- 9:56Speaker 1: they did it. This is they're reasoning behind it. And
- 10:04Speaker 1: anyone that doesn't understand that, I'm sorry, you are an idiot.
- 10:08Speaker 1: Because they've made it very clear. They've made it extremely
- 10:13Speaker 1: clear that the Supreme Court that this was a huge violation,
- 10:18Speaker 1: in a slap in the face to every business owner
- 10:23Speaker 1: and every American, and they said no more. And the
- 10:26Speaker 1: President comes out and says, yes, we're gonna do it again,
- 10:29Speaker 1: or do it now, or support it now, or don't
- 10:32Speaker 1: listen to the Supreme Court, move forward. He's advocating for
- 10:36Speaker 1: breaking the law because this is how a psychopath, psychotic,
- 10:42Speaker 1: I should say. They have become as tyrants. They are
- 10:46Speaker 1: drunk on power in a way that we have never seen.
- 10:50Speaker 1: They are drunk on power in a way that is intoxicating.
- 10:57Speaker 1: And when you realize that you can do whatever you
- 10:59Speaker 1: want to do in the name of quote, public health,
- 11:02Speaker 1: and that while you advocate for, you know, being drunk
- 11:06Speaker 1: on power in the name of public health, and that's
- 11:08Speaker 1: your excuse to get away with taking away every basic
- 11:13Speaker 1: human right we have in this country. Just like they
- 11:16Speaker 1: want to mandate vaccines for children. This is the problem.
- 11:22Speaker 1: Take a listen again a little bit more of the
- 11:25Speaker 1: Surgeon General continue to advocate for the breaking of the
- 11:30Speaker 1: law in this country. So the good news, though, is
- 11:32Speaker 1: that there is nothing that stops workplaces from voluntarily putting
- 11:36Speaker 1: these requirements in place. In fact, many have done so already.
- 11:39Speaker 1: A third of the fortune one hundred companies have put
- 11:42Speaker 1: these in place, and many more outside have. So we
- 11:45Speaker 1: are certainly encouraging companies to put rease requirements in place voluntarily.
- 11:49Speaker 1: And in the healthcare setting, that ruling was upheld, and
- 11:53Speaker 1: so seventeen million healthcare workers and settings across the country
- 11:56Speaker 1: are still required now to get vaccinated. That will help
- 11:59Speaker 1: create a safer environment for healthcare workers as well as
- 12:02Speaker 1: for patients and doctor I want to talk about transmissibility. Clearly,
- 12:06Speaker 1: there are large numbers of breakthrough cases in those who've
- 12:10Speaker 1: been vaccinated and boosted, and we know those shots have
- 12:14Speaker 1: saved lives in terms of the disease. But do you
- 12:17Speaker 1: know what percentage of positive cases are in those who
- 12:21Speaker 1: have been vaccinated and boosted. Well, it's a good question, Martha.
- 12:27Speaker 1: The one important thing to recognize, an underscore or something
- 12:31Speaker 1: you mentioned which I think is critically important, is that
- 12:33Speaker 1: the purpose of vaccines, the most important job of vaccines
- 12:36Speaker 1: is to save your life and keep you out of
- 12:38Speaker 1: the hospital. And by that measure, these vaccines and boosters
- 12:41Speaker 1: are working and working well now. Amazing if they would
- 12:44Speaker 1: have started with that by the way, how different the
- 12:46Speaker 1: vaccine debate may have been in this country if they
- 12:49Speaker 1: would have come out and not lied to us or
- 12:52Speaker 1: said things that they didn't actually know. We're facts, and
- 12:55Speaker 1: you know what that list is. But I'll remind you
- 12:57Speaker 1: of very quickly of what that list is. If you
- 13:01Speaker 1: get the vaccine, you no longer have to worry about
- 13:03Speaker 1: getting COVID. If you get the vaccine, you'll no longer
- 13:06Speaker 1: have to wear a mask mask. If you'll get a vaccine,
- 13:09Speaker 1: you no longer have to worry about social distancing. If
- 13:12Speaker 1: you get the vaccine, you can go back to living
- 13:14Speaker 1: your life the way you were before. If you get
- 13:16Speaker 1: the vaccine, you can no longer have to worry about
- 13:22Speaker 1: canceling Christmas or Thanksgiving, or worry about killing Grandma. Remember
- 13:27Speaker 1: all that. Remember all of that. That's what they said, folks,
- 13:31Speaker 1: That's literally what they said, if you just get the vaccine,
- 13:37Speaker 1: this is how great life will be for you. Just
- 13:39Speaker 1: get the vaccine. And then we find out none of
- 13:44Speaker 1: it's true. They would have come out and said, guys,
- 13:47Speaker 1: the vaccine is not going to give you this like
- 13:49Speaker 1: silver bullet, ultimate protection. It's not going to put a
- 13:52Speaker 1: globe around you. It's not going to be walking around
- 13:55Speaker 1: with invincibility. What it's gonna do it is probably keep
- 13:58Speaker 1: you out of the hospital, and it's gonna significantly reduce
- 14:02Speaker 1: the risk that you're going to die if you contract COVID.
- 14:06Speaker 1: If they would have just stuck with that and not
- 14:09Speaker 1: oversell it with this, you don't have to wear a
- 14:12Speaker 1: mask anymore if you do this, and you'll never have
- 14:14Speaker 1: to wear a mask again. If you do this, you're right,
- 14:18Speaker 1: you get vaccine. You don't ever have to worry ever again.
- 14:20Speaker 1: That's how they sold us on this. I can't even
- 14:24Speaker 1: imagine how many Americans would would get the vaccine or
- 14:28Speaker 1: would have gotten a vaccine if they just would have
- 14:30Speaker 1: been honest to look, this is pretty much like a
- 14:32Speaker 1: flu shot. Okay, this is gonna reduce your risk of
- 14:37Speaker 1: hospitalization and death significantly. That's all this thing does. We're
- 14:42Speaker 1: not doesn't mean you can't get it. What it means
- 14:45Speaker 1: is going to lessen the severity by and large of COVID.
- 14:51Speaker 1: If they would have done that, and they would have
- 14:54Speaker 1: told the truth about that early on and not promise
- 14:57Speaker 1: things that there's no way they could have known, and
- 15:00Speaker 1: if it was actually going to be true because they
- 15:01Speaker 1: were trying to oversell you. They were bribing you, they
- 15:05Speaker 1: were lying to you. They were lying to because they
- 15:09Speaker 1: needed to lie to you, because that's what they had
- 15:11Speaker 1: to do to sell you on getting the vaccine and
- 15:14Speaker 1: mass numbers. And it backfired on them once we realized
- 15:17Speaker 1: that their lives became true, once we figured out what
- 15:20Speaker 1: their lies were, and then they saw like they're like, oh,
- 15:23Speaker 1: it's a breakthrough case. Now have you noticed the word
- 15:26Speaker 1: breakthrough is like totally disappeared from the media. Have you
- 15:29Speaker 1: noticed the word breakthrough has totally disappeared from the politicians.
- 15:33Speaker 1: Have you noticed the word breakthrough is like not mentioned
- 15:35Speaker 1: at the White House at all? Why is that? Because
- 15:38Speaker 1: they need that word to go away. The cases that
- 15:42Speaker 1: we're seeing among people that were vaccinated, fully vaccinated, right
- 15:47Speaker 1: boosted should have been what they would have what we
- 15:50Speaker 1: expected along. And by the way, the scientists were never
- 15:53Speaker 1: saying that if you got vaccinated, you were going to
- 15:55Speaker 1: get to just take that mask off. And definitely, let's
- 15:56Speaker 1: just talk about the lives of the of the masks.
- 16:00Speaker 1: We know a bunch of the masks that they've been
- 16:02Speaker 1: telling us to wear a crap and they don't really work,
- 16:05Speaker 1: they don't actually give your protection. We know that now,
- 16:10Speaker 1: right like we know that now. If they would have
- 16:13Speaker 1: been honest about the mask and said, look, especially with
- 16:15Speaker 1: omicron and ninety five is what you got to wear.
- 16:17Speaker 1: These other things are basically worthless. If they would have
- 16:20Speaker 1: been honest, people with them, trust them, and not be
- 16:23Speaker 1: and and we wouldn't have the vaccine war that we're
- 16:26Speaker 1: having right now. But when you keep lying to us
- 16:30Speaker 1: and you keep trampling on our freedoms, this is what
- 16:35Speaker 1: you get. They would have been honest, and they wouldn't
- 16:39Speaker 1: have had dictators and tyrants like Faucci running our policies
- 16:43Speaker 1: and pushing their agendas on us. And they've been elected,
- 16:46Speaker 1: don't forget by no one. Remember, doctor Fauci's the highest
- 16:51Speaker 1: paid government employee and he has been elected by no one,
- 16:56Speaker 1: no one. This is a guy that has been trampling
- 17:00Speaker 1: on all of our rights and he seems to be
- 17:03Speaker 1: totally down with it too, like he's getting off on it.
- 17:07Speaker 1: It is a high that he has never experienced before.
- 17:10Speaker 1: He's like a crack addict that can't wait to get
- 17:12Speaker 1: his next hit. And his hit hit is tyranny, his hit,
- 17:19Speaker 1: his drug of choice is dictatorship. That's why they refuse
- 17:26Speaker 1: to back down. That's why they're not going That's why
- 17:28Speaker 1: the Surgeon General is basically mocking the Supreme Court vaccine
- 17:32Speaker 1: mandate and saying it's a setback for public health, because
- 17:36Speaker 1: that's all he's got left to offer when it comes
- 17:39Speaker 1: to the pr disaster, which is his job. This is
- 17:45Speaker 1: where we are now. I want to just take a
- 17:49Speaker 1: step back for a moment and let you understand just
- 17:53Speaker 1: how bad things are for this president, which is exactly
- 17:58Speaker 1: why this president saying hell with the Supreme Court, and
- 18:03Speaker 1: you guys keep being tyrants, because us tyrants must stick together.
- 18:08Speaker 1: Here's just a little excerpt about how bad a week
- 18:12Speaker 1: it was for Joe Biden, not only getting slapped around
- 18:16Speaker 1: by the Supreme Court, but many other things as well.
- 18:20Speaker 1: Now looking back at last week with Summer calling the
- 18:22Speaker 1: week from Hell, talks failed with Russia, the Supreme courts
- 18:25Speaker 1: of the vaccine mandate for large companies was illegal, the
- 18:27Speaker 1: president's trips to Georgia and Capitol Hill failed to get
- 18:30Speaker 1: voting rights passed, and of course no changes to the filibuster.
- 18:33Speaker 1: Despite the President's best efforts, Biden's poll numbers now the
- 18:37Speaker 1: lowis is taking office just thirty three percent, going on
- 18:40Speaker 1: under water for the first time following the disasters with
- 18:42Speaker 1: You're all from Afghanistan, paving the way for the Taliban
- 18:45Speaker 1: to take over once again for the first time in
- 18:47Speaker 1: twenty years. On the economy, the president Polian just thirty
- 18:50Speaker 1: four percent, foreign policy thirty five percent, and is handling
- 18:53Speaker 1: up the coronavirus pandemic just thirty nine percent following a
- 18:57Speaker 1: record setting number of cases and hospitalizations nation Why A
- 19:00Speaker 1: doc from Brown University says the White Houses COVID messages
- 19:03Speaker 1: are very confusing. Well, it's certainly making it harder for
- 19:07Speaker 1: people to know what to do, and in a public
- 19:10Speaker 1: health crisis like the one we have, getting the public
- 19:13Speaker 1: to understand the moment we're in, what are the key
- 19:16Speaker 1: things they need to be doing to keep themselves in
- 19:17Speaker 1: their families safe is enormously important. This week marks the
- 19:24Speaker 1: end of President Biden's first year in office. In addition
- 19:26Speaker 1: to a press conference Wednesday at four pm Eastern, It's
- 19:29Speaker 1: also marks the first day that the new website goes online.
- 19:32Speaker 1: So Americans get their COVID tests. They should ship out
- 19:35Speaker 1: in seven to twelve days. Should yeah right, sure, okay,
- 19:39Speaker 1: I believe you. Government that's how bad this guy is
- 19:46Speaker 1: being president. So of course the only thing left to
- 19:48Speaker 1: do is it just be a tyrant. Even MSNBC's Check
- 19:53Speaker 1: Todd said this about the first year of the Biden
- 19:57Speaker 1: presidency and a year after promising a change in tone,
- 20:00Speaker 1: we can join forces, stop the shouting and lowered the temperature.
- 20:05Speaker 1: President Biden has failed so far to do that. Do
- 20:07Speaker 1: you want to be the side the side of Doctor
- 20:10Speaker 1: King or George Wallace? Do you want to be in
- 20:13Speaker 1: the side of John Lewis or Bull Connor? So much
- 20:17Speaker 1: for unifying the country. Perhaps the President went a little
- 20:20Speaker 1: too far in his rhetoric. Perhaps the President went too
- 20:24Speaker 1: far in his rhetoric. You think that that left is
- 20:28Speaker 1: running how he heard Mitt Romney's voice, even Mitt Romney's
- 20:32Speaker 1: running from Joe Biden. He loved Joe Biden, loved him.
- 20:38Speaker 1: I mean, even CNN is being forced to recap the terrible, horrible,
- 20:46Speaker 1: no good, very bad week which was the week of
- 20:50Speaker 1: the presidency of Joe Biden where everybody rejected him, because
- 20:54Speaker 1: now he's in the midst of what one famous children's
- 20:56Speaker 1: book writer called a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad time.
- 21:02Speaker 1: All week, the White House is watched as the headlines
- 21:05Speaker 1: detailed a setback, a misstaff of miscalculation, COVID tests, and spread.
- 21:10Speaker 1: Biden's domestic agenda, foreign policy crises, crises plural, and it's
- 21:15Speaker 1: all coming to a head on what is essentially the
- 21:17Speaker 1: one year mark of Biden's term. His push to change
- 21:20Speaker 1: Senate rules who he can pass, voting rights dead, his
- 21:23Speaker 1: Build Back Better Bill at best stalled, his vaccine mandate
- 21:28Speaker 1: for big businesses, blocked consumer prices, soaring, COVID hospitalizations, surging,
- 21:36Speaker 1: COVID tests and treatments in short supply. And these are
- 21:40Speaker 1: just the issues that Biden is facing in the United States,
- 21:45Speaker 1: in the United States, not even around the world, just
- 21:48Speaker 1: in the United States. This is what he's up against
- 21:51Speaker 1: in America. Former Obama economic advisor Summer said, moving towards
- 21:58Speaker 1: hire trenched inflation. And this is Obama's guy saying this. Now,
- 22:04Speaker 1: we are basically moving towards higher in trenched inflation. It's
- 22:11Speaker 1: there in expectations, it's there in wages, it's there in
- 22:16Speaker 1: labor shortages, it's there in the pervasive pattern across many
- 22:23Speaker 1: different prices. And people try to excuse it by picking
- 22:28Speaker 1: this figure and that figure from month to month, but
- 22:34Speaker 1: we've got an overheated economy. Biden's fault, yes, Any accountability
- 22:40Speaker 1: for it not so far. You know Mitt Romney, and
- 22:44Speaker 1: I think Mitt Romney sucks. I just want to make
- 22:46Speaker 1: that clear. Thing is a terrible, terrible politician. Mitt Romney said.
- 22:51Speaker 1: Biden was not elected to transform America, but to get
- 22:53Speaker 1: us back to normal and stop the crazy. Remember, because
- 22:57Speaker 1: he hated Donald Trump. Hated Donald Rump. Right, well, how
- 23:00Speaker 1: that work out for you? Because you're the guy that
- 23:02Speaker 1: was anti Trump and now you want to act like, oh,
- 23:05Speaker 1: you know somehow, well, you know I trusted Biden. It's
- 23:08Speaker 1: not working out either. I mean, Mitt Romney, this guy
- 23:11Speaker 1: sucks almost as much as Joe Biden does. And he's
- 23:14Speaker 1: out there Grant saying today, well, you know, Biden has
- 23:17Speaker 1: really failed. You're the dude that backed him. You're the
- 23:20Speaker 1: dude that was constantly undermining Donald Trump. You were the
- 23:26Speaker 1: guy that went to war with Donald Trump on everything.
- 23:30Speaker 1: Democratic Representive James Clyburn said Biden's election overhaul legislation is
- 23:35Speaker 1: quote on life support, meaning it's well, it's dead. Are
- 23:37Speaker 1: the Election Reform Bill's dad? Do you think? No? I don't.
- 23:41Speaker 1: They made me on life support yeah, there's a a spin.
- 23:45Speaker 1: Well I mean, I mean, no, they're not dead, they're
- 23:47Speaker 1: on they're on life support. Though, Oh well that makes
- 23:50Speaker 1: it all better. I guess right, Well, they're on life support.
- 23:53Speaker 1: You can't spend your way out of this. And then
- 23:57Speaker 1: what if Russia decides to move into Ukraine. You think
- 24:00Speaker 1: our president's going to stop him, of course not. What
- 24:04Speaker 1: if China decides to do whatever the hell they want
- 24:06Speaker 1: to do with Taiwan. You think he's going to stop him,
- 24:08Speaker 1: of course not. MSNBC's Alex Wit on voting rights. I
- 24:12Speaker 1: don't want to sound like negative Nelly, but it appears
- 24:16Speaker 1: the legislation is heading for failure. Yeah it is, and
- 24:21Speaker 1: that's coming from MSNBC. Anyway, let's go and talk about
- 24:25Speaker 1: everything with voting rights and the like. This's been and
- 24:27Speaker 1: of course the big you know, push the big momentum
- 24:30Speaker 1: this last week. But it appears, and I don't want
- 24:33Speaker 1: to sound like negative Nelly, but it appears like this
- 24:36Speaker 1: legislation is heading for failure unless something surprising happens. It
- 24:39Speaker 1: has zero Republican support. Senate Democrats do not have full
- 24:43Speaker 1: party support for changing the Senate rules relative to the
- 24:46Speaker 1: filibuster and there's a new Quinnipiac University poll that shows
- 24:50Speaker 1: a majority of Americans are definitely worried about the future
- 24:54Speaker 1: of the American democracy. So, Congressman, when you see numbers
- 24:58Speaker 1: like this, does it surprise by you there's not more
- 25:01Speaker 1: support to shore up voting rights? I mean, do you?
- 25:04Speaker 1: Because the American people know it's not voting rights, it's
- 25:06Speaker 1: political propaganda. And even MSNBC is like having to admit
- 25:11Speaker 1: partially some of this. Right La Times Calumness now coming
- 25:16Speaker 1: out saying we should mock Americans who die of COVID
- 25:19Speaker 1: after opposing vax mandate. That should tell you everything you
- 25:22Speaker 1: need to know. When the left doesn't get their way,
- 25:25Speaker 1: they hope you die. You think I'm joking, I'm not. Well.
- 25:29Speaker 1: Here's a moral question peculiar to these days. Is it
- 25:32Speaker 1: wrong to mock people who publicly crusade against the COVID
- 25:36Speaker 1: vaccine and then die of the disease? Or does it
- 25:39Speaker 1: drive home the message about saving lives? Their entire websites
- 25:43Speaker 1: that are devoted to such mockery. Sorry, anti vaxer dot
- 25:47Speaker 1: com Gleefully Tally's stories and photos of anti vaccine advocates
- 25:51Speaker 1: who end up in the ICU intubated and or dead
- 25:54Speaker 1: from the disease. One recent case of this kind of
- 25:57Speaker 1: tasteless taunting spurred two duly opinion pieces in the Los
- 26:01Speaker 1: Angeles Times. Orange County Republican Kelly Earnby, a former assistant
- 26:06Speaker 1: DA and State Assembly candidate who had lobbied publicly against
- 26:09Speaker 1: the COVID vaccines, passed away earlier this month at age
- 26:12Speaker 1: forty six from COVID complications. She was unvaccinated. Earnby's death
- 26:17Speaker 1: unleashed a torrent of reaction on the Internet on her
- 26:21Speaker 1: own Facebook page, under a Christmas collage that she had
- 26:24Speaker 1: posted there, now more than forty six hundred comments summer sympathy,
- 26:28Speaker 1: notes many others are not. In response to the piling
- 26:32Speaker 1: on LA Times, columnist Nicholas Goldberg wrote, I don't understand
- 26:36Speaker 1: how crowing over the death of others further's useful debate
- 26:41Speaker 1: or increases vaccination rates. But a few days later, Goldberg's
- 26:45Speaker 1: colleague Michael Hiltzig published a column expressing the exact opposite quote,
- 26:50Speaker 1: mocking anti vaxer's COVID deaths is ghoulish, yes, but maybe necessary.
- 26:56Speaker 1: Michael Hiltzig joins me, now he's the LA Times Business columnist.
- 26:59Speaker 1: He's also a Pulitzer Prize winner. Michael, let's make clear
- 27:03Speaker 1: at the outset, you are not talking about the everyday
- 27:06Speaker 1: people who don't get vacxed, sadly contract COVID and die.
- 27:10Speaker 1: You're talking about people with a platform, right, That's correct.
- 27:16Speaker 1: I get. I love this like they give the guy
- 27:18Speaker 1: who is out there mocking Americans who die of COVID
- 27:22Speaker 1: after opposing vaccine mandates, which would be me, right. I'm vaccinated,
- 27:27Speaker 1: but I'm anti vaccine mandate. I oppose vaccine mandates. So
- 27:34Speaker 1: if I die of COVID, they want to they want
- 27:37Speaker 1: to start a Facebook page mocking me as a conservative
- 27:41Speaker 1: talk show host because I died, and they CNN gives
- 27:47Speaker 1: us due to a platform, and the La Times gives
- 27:49Speaker 1: them a platform to write this article saying that those
- 27:52Speaker 1: who die of COVID who were against vaccines aka vaccine mandates,
- 28:00Speaker 1: deserve to be ridiculed and mocked and celebrated in their death.
- 28:05Speaker 1: That's what he's saying. I don't know any other way
- 28:09Speaker 1: to put it, but this is pure evil and this
- 28:13Speaker 1: is what the left has left to offer you. Now,
- 28:17Speaker 1: come join us. We will laugh and mock people who
- 28:20Speaker 1: die of COVID. That is basically the Democratic Party right now.
- 28:25Speaker 1: That is I guess what they're hoping to run on
- 28:27Speaker 1: in the midterms. We can't take away your rights because
- 28:30Speaker 1: the Supreme Court strug us down, and we hope you
- 28:34Speaker 1: die of COVID if you don't agree with us. We
- 28:38Speaker 1: literally hope you die of COVID if you don't agree
- 28:40Speaker 1: with us, and then we will mock your death and
- 28:44Speaker 1: people wonder why I don't trust Democrats. Please share this
- 28:47Speaker 1: podcast so that we make sure that other people hear this,
- 28:50Speaker 1: and please write us a five star review. Help us
- 28:52Speaker 1: fight back against the liberal media and get this information out,
- 28:56Speaker 1: and we'll see you back here tomorrow.
