- 0:24Speaker 1: move together for stoo barn hobby. Why don't you join? Yeah? Yeah,
- 0:43Speaker 1: by join me said do go turn yeah? Do you
- 1:24Speaker 1: you gotta turn't to turn the turn? Lovey got to
- 1:44Speaker 1: turn out to turn turn? Come come on your back
- 1:59Speaker 1: at it? Uh huh, I show, well, good morning everybody.
- 2:04Speaker 1: You're listening to the voice. Come on dig me now
- 2:08Speaker 1: for one and only. Steve Harvey got a radio show,
- 2:11Speaker 1: Yeah man got one. Hey. You know, um, I thought
- 2:16Speaker 1: I think of my life in terms of blessings. You know.
- 2:19Speaker 1: I take mostly a positive approach and a positive spin
- 2:23Speaker 1: to my life. I hardly ever dweil on. Uh you
- 2:27Speaker 1: know the what's well. I can't say that I don't
- 2:30Speaker 1: think about the what's wrong in it because I have to,
- 2:32Speaker 1: because I have to address problems as they arise. But
- 2:36Speaker 1: I try not to let them consume me. I let
- 2:40Speaker 1: the consumption part be about the blessings, the positive things
- 2:44Speaker 1: that has occurred in my life. The good things that
- 2:47Speaker 1: God has done for me, the power that He's displayed
- 2:51Speaker 1: in my life, the protection he's given me over the years,
- 2:55Speaker 1: to being tucked under his wings. I focus on the
- 2:58Speaker 1: things that He promises me. I think of all all
- 3:02Speaker 1: the goodness that I perceived to come my way, and
- 3:05Speaker 1: I think that has a lot to do with me
- 3:07Speaker 1: learning more and more about the law of attraction in
- 3:11Speaker 1: terms of you know, what you think and what you
- 3:14Speaker 1: put out in the space, and what you pray about
- 3:16Speaker 1: is what you receive, you know, and so I've become
- 3:20Speaker 1: better and better at that. It's not to say that
- 3:22Speaker 1: I'm I'm not human and I don't have moments where
- 3:26Speaker 1: I think a little bit too long about what's going
- 3:29Speaker 1: wrong and what enemy is is about to attack and
- 3:32Speaker 1: what they're gonna do and saying and all of this
- 3:35Speaker 1: is his. That's not to con say that I'm not
- 3:37Speaker 1: concerned about it. But I try to duel mostly on
- 3:39Speaker 1: the positive. And one of the things that I learned,
- 3:43Speaker 1: you can have an incredible life, all of you, all
- 3:47Speaker 1: of us. We can have incredible lives if we just
- 3:52Speaker 1: let God drive. See the problem that I had years
- 3:57Speaker 1: ago was I was the driver of my life and
- 4:01Speaker 1: I was taking myself in the directions that I thought
- 4:05Speaker 1: would be best for me, and I aimed at things
- 4:08Speaker 1: that I thought I could accomplish, and I set goals
- 4:12Speaker 1: that I saw myself being able to attain. I was
- 4:17Speaker 1: driving when I gave up and I let God drive.
- 4:21Speaker 1: I then opened up my mind and my spirit to
- 4:25Speaker 1: what God had for me, for what God could see
- 4:30Speaker 1: for me, for what God could do in my life, well,
- 4:33Speaker 1: for what God wanted for me. Now he wanted for
- 4:38Speaker 1: me and he wanted of me. See, that's the connection
- 4:43Speaker 1: that you got to try to make. Well, not try,
- 4:45Speaker 1: that's the connection that you gotta make to really get it. Now,
- 4:48Speaker 1: listen to me. What I don't want you to do
- 4:51Speaker 1: is do like me. Don't be afraid of the what
- 4:54Speaker 1: for of the what he wants you to do part see,
- 4:57Speaker 1: because that ain't gonna be nearly as the man and
- 5:00Speaker 1: as offsetting as you think it's gonna be. See. I
- 5:03Speaker 1: thought that if I did God's will, that if I
- 5:06Speaker 1: let God tell me what to do, that it would
- 5:09Speaker 1: cause me to not to be able to do a
- 5:12Speaker 1: certain some things I wanted to do well, which is true.
- 5:15Speaker 1: But the stuff I wanted to do was all detrimental
- 5:18Speaker 1: to my well being and my future and my and
- 5:20Speaker 1: my growth and development as a man. I was stopping
- 5:24Speaker 1: my own growth as a man, because see, I was
- 5:26Speaker 1: doing what I thought I should do as a man.
- 5:29Speaker 1: But when you give it over to God, to God
- 5:31Speaker 1: has a much better plan for you than you can
- 5:33Speaker 1: ever have for yourself. And God knows a better way,
- 5:37Speaker 1: far better than the one you know. I want you
- 5:39Speaker 1: to believe that. Man, you gotta understand that part of it.
- 5:41Speaker 1: And and that's the part that I finally got through
- 5:44Speaker 1: my head to let God do it his way and
- 5:47Speaker 1: to show me a better way, and to teach me
- 5:50Speaker 1: a better way and exposed to me a better way.
- 5:53Speaker 1: And when I opened up my mind to what God
- 5:55Speaker 1: was talking about, I began to see things totally differently.
- 6:00Speaker 1: And things started coming to me totally differently. If you've
- 6:04Speaker 1: been a friend of mine or a fan of mine
- 6:07Speaker 1: over the years, I mean, you've had to see it,
- 6:10Speaker 1: the change. You've had to see the difference. I mean,
- 6:14Speaker 1: and I and I acknowledge that every chance I get,
- 6:17Speaker 1: because I promised God I would, and I hope that
- 6:19Speaker 1: I'm not falling short in that category. But then again,
- 6:23Speaker 1: if I told it all day long would he done
- 6:25Speaker 1: for me. I still wouldn't have enough time to really
- 6:28Speaker 1: explain thoroughly what he's done for me, because it's such
- 6:31Speaker 1: a continuous growth in me. But now that's not to
- 6:36Speaker 1: say that I'm finished or I'm done or I'm complete,
- 6:40Speaker 1: because I'm still short. And that's the cold thing about it. Man. See,
- 6:45Speaker 1: no matter how good you get at it, you ain't
- 6:47Speaker 1: gonna ever be the best you can be. You just
- 6:50Speaker 1: not because you're gonna fall short. You can't be him.
- 6:54Speaker 1: You can strive for perfection. I hear people saying it
- 6:56Speaker 1: all the time. I applaud you for saying you want
- 6:58Speaker 1: to be perfect, but you ain't and you can't and
- 7:02Speaker 1: you're not and you aren't and you won't and you
- 7:05Speaker 1: will not. And so you quit saying it. You quit
- 7:08Speaker 1: saying it to me, quit saying it to other people.
- 7:11Speaker 1: I'm seeking a life of perfection, but it's something that
- 7:15Speaker 1: you cannot have because he said you can't do it.
- 7:18Speaker 1: But that's what he'd asked for, he'd have for the
- 7:20Speaker 1: moments when you stumble and you fall, and you go
- 7:22Speaker 1: stumble and fall. So you gotta get that part right, man,
- 7:25Speaker 1: to stumbling falling part is coming but see, you get
- 7:29Speaker 1: God in your life and it helps you so that
- 7:31Speaker 1: you don't stumble, fall, wallow roll over, laid their languish.
- 7:36Speaker 1: That's what God is for. So when you stumbling fall,
- 7:40Speaker 1: you get back up. Because you're going to make mistakes.
- 7:44Speaker 1: You're going to get it wrong. You're going to come
- 7:47Speaker 1: under attack, You're going to be lied about, you are
- 7:50Speaker 1: going to be falsely accused. That's going to happen to
- 7:54Speaker 1: you the moment you make a decision to do better,
- 7:57Speaker 1: the moment you try to be more, the moment you
- 8:00Speaker 1: try to get it right. The devil got to send
- 8:03Speaker 1: his attackers man, and he controls certain people. He just
- 8:07Speaker 1: got people as on his side. Seven. You know him too.
- 8:11Speaker 1: You you've all met one or two of me in
- 8:13Speaker 1: your life. They're just busy with the business of nothingness.
- 8:17Speaker 1: They're just busy about to do about the destruction of others.
- 8:21Speaker 1: You said, I know him, you know him. They coming.
- 8:24Speaker 1: But here's what you gotta hold fast too. They can't
- 8:28Speaker 1: take away nothing from you that God gave you. They
- 8:32Speaker 1: didn't make you. See, people who claim to have made you,
- 8:36Speaker 1: if they're so in to make you business, why don't
- 8:39Speaker 1: they make theirselves? Or if they ain't with you no more,
- 8:42Speaker 1: and they're so busy in them. I made you business,
- 8:45Speaker 1: why don't they make somebody else? Since just since you
- 8:49Speaker 1: want to get credit from making somebody make yourself. If
- 8:54Speaker 1: you're responsible for someone else's success, then you should easily
- 8:58Speaker 1: be able to take claim and be responsive. But for
- 9:00Speaker 1: your own success. See, be careful of that. And don't
- 9:03Speaker 1: and and don't don't change your course because somebody is
- 9:07Speaker 1: attacking you with that. You keep doing what you're doing.
- 9:10Speaker 1: I just hope, man, that I'm giving it to God
- 9:13Speaker 1: the way I said I would give it to him,
- 9:15Speaker 1: that I would unload every chance I got that I
- 9:17Speaker 1: was supposed to without being you know, or here he
- 9:20Speaker 1: come again? You know. I try not to be that,
- 9:23Speaker 1: but man, I don't know what else to be for
- 9:25Speaker 1: the first twelve minutes of my show. What else you
- 9:26Speaker 1: want me to say? I got four hours. I can't
- 9:29Speaker 1: give God twelve twelve minutes, man, I mean, for real, Steve,
- 9:33Speaker 1: come on, man, I mean, let's look at this right here.
- 9:35Speaker 1: It's like, for example, it's like detox in your body,
- 9:38Speaker 1: which is one of the most healthy things you can
- 9:40Speaker 1: do for your body is to detox your system and
- 9:43Speaker 1: clean out the pipes and the liver and the blood
- 9:45Speaker 1: and get it all together, give your kidneys a break
- 9:47Speaker 1: and all like this. Okay, right, okay, But to detox
- 9:51Speaker 1: it properly, it takes twenty one days. Right. And I
- 9:54Speaker 1: hear a lot of people telling about twenty one days
- 9:56Speaker 1: I ain't got. But see, hold up, man, if the
- 9:58Speaker 1: twenty one days out of three hundred sixty days a year,
- 10:03Speaker 1: you ain't got twenty one to straighten yourself out, You
- 10:06Speaker 1: ain't got twenty one days to give yourself a better
- 10:09Speaker 1: shot at health. I mean that that's crazy to me,
- 10:12Speaker 1: once you wrap your mind around it, see, And so like,
- 10:15Speaker 1: if you're giving honor to God just twelve minutes out
- 10:18Speaker 1: the day, dog, he gave you twenty four hours of
- 10:22Speaker 1: luxury in life and breath and hope and promise that
- 10:25Speaker 1: you ain't got twelve minutes to give him out the day.
- 10:28Speaker 1: That don't make no sense. What an exchange, What a
- 10:31Speaker 1: wonderful life God has given me in exchange for so
- 10:35Speaker 1: small of effort that I put forth. Don't let the
- 10:37Speaker 1: effort you gotta put forth to God seems so dawning
- 10:40Speaker 1: that you don't attempt to do it, Because man, it
- 10:42Speaker 1: seems like a lot. It ain't nothing to compare to
- 10:44Speaker 1: what he'd be given us for real. So if you
- 10:47Speaker 1: want a real life, you want a real shot at
- 10:49Speaker 1: what you can be, what you can have, what you
- 10:50Speaker 1: can own, what you can become who you really are,
- 10:53Speaker 1: Go to God. Let him fix you. Man, that's all
- 10:56Speaker 1: you're too. Ladies and gentimate boys and girls, people from
- 11:03Speaker 1: all around the world. You are listening to the baddest
- 11:06Speaker 1: morning show, and I mean in the whole dog Gonna
- 11:11Speaker 1: land man. Yeah, so we are dedicating today's show. I'm
- 11:18Speaker 1: gonna do an individual dedication to Baccari Sellers, who I
- 11:24Speaker 1: watched on cn INN last night. What's the black Republican
- 11:29Speaker 1: dude named Paris? Oh yeah, I don't know. I know
- 11:33Speaker 1: his name is Paris, but brows that is a Trump
- 11:40Speaker 1: supporter and love them. I just want to take my
- 11:43Speaker 1: head off to Bacari Sellers today because he ate his
- 11:47Speaker 1: ass alive I was last night, gonna yeah, So today
- 11:58Speaker 1: is dedicated to Cards Sellers for your fabulous interview last
- 12:03Speaker 1: night on Anderson Cooper three sixty with the other and
- 12:08Speaker 1: you know what they do, man, They put the black
- 12:10Speaker 1: Republican up there who just all he said was he
- 12:14Speaker 1: wished Trump hadn't used the language son of a bit.
- 12:18Speaker 1: That was it other than that he's perfectly right to
- 12:24Speaker 1: get these people off their knees to respect our soldiers.
- 12:28Speaker 1: But Card kept telling you, this is not about disrespectful soldiers.
- 12:33Speaker 1: This is not what this is not disrespecting the soldiers.
- 12:37Speaker 1: We are asking that this flag represent what it stands
- 12:43Speaker 1: for for all people of the United States. That man,
- 12:49Speaker 1: know that, Steve Man, But man, but listen, man, when
- 12:55Speaker 1: they want to spin it though, And like Beard said yesterday,
- 12:59Speaker 1: he said, for him to go to the state of Alabama. Yeah,
- 13:05Speaker 1: and do this. And like I said, they have no
- 13:08Speaker 1: NFL team, But tell them people in Alabama, the great
- 13:12Speaker 1: people are the state of Alabama, that you're gonna start
- 13:16Speaker 1: removing players from Road Tide and War Eagle. And watch
- 13:20Speaker 1: how quiet to get in there? Morning everybody, baby, girls
- 13:29Speaker 1: ain't speaking. Good morning, Steve. How are you, darling? Tell
- 13:36Speaker 1: what you think is up? I don't know. Is there
- 13:39Speaker 1: something going on on Wednesday? What's what's happening? Lady? We
- 13:43Speaker 1: just said high lying shopping right now. The lady loves.
- 13:53Speaker 1: Good morning, Steve. How are you today? It's I'm day.
- 13:57Speaker 1: I'm feeling pretty good. Today. Man, I feel like a
- 14:01Speaker 1: champ traps here the trampers hell? Can I dedicate to
- 14:09Speaker 1: this show? Also? The side pieces they never get the recognition.
- 14:14Speaker 1: Love show him some loves sometime, you know, Karlie sellers
- 14:18Speaker 1: to side pieces. Even I want to apologize. I'll keep
- 14:27Speaker 1: y'all here. Okay, Thanksgiving, that's what you gave him, Steve,
- 14:30Speaker 1: We're coming back. Our friend Kevin Hard is speaking out.
- 14:37Speaker 1: We'll be back at thirty two after the hour. Wait
- 14:39Speaker 1: till you hear this, Steve, what are you saying that
- 14:42Speaker 1: you're listening to? Show? All right? Our friend Kevin Hard
- 14:46Speaker 1: has been all over the news lately. We know that
- 14:49Speaker 1: Kevin is already addressing his personal life in his stand up.
- 14:54Speaker 1: During a show in Atlanta recently, Kevin suddenly touched on
- 14:58Speaker 1: his infidelity. He said to the audience, we got a
- 15:02Speaker 1: lot of sugar honey iced tea to talk about people.
- 15:05Speaker 1: It's a lot of sugar honey iced tea to talk
- 15:07Speaker 1: about today. Hega, listen, it really gets right here man.
- 15:13Speaker 1: The words appreciation do you know justice to what I
- 15:17Speaker 1: feel for you? Guys? You got today? Let me tell
- 15:20Speaker 1: you what UH want? The drama and the best when
- 15:27Speaker 1: you go to dramas support groups supposed to happen for
- 15:37Speaker 1: a reason. In this particular case, guys, I promise you
- 15:41Speaker 1: I'm gonna come out of better man all right. Thanks
- 15:46Speaker 1: to t MZ for that audio. You know, when you
- 15:49Speaker 1: when you were stand up and things happen, some of
- 15:53Speaker 1: the best therapy for us is to walk out there
- 15:56Speaker 1: and just address it. Yeah, yeah, just here it is.
- 16:04Speaker 1: You know. So I'm pulling for calf Man because we're friends.
- 16:09Speaker 1: And somebody told me other day, man, how could you
- 16:12Speaker 1: be a friend to somebody who does something like that?
- 16:16Speaker 1: What you're my uncle? I'm doing that now. I just
- 16:19Speaker 1: ain't thing. You ain't hunging o. I love time. And
- 16:24Speaker 1: look look at talking by the side piece of that
- 16:26Speaker 1: day a radio. And you haven't just owned made my
- 16:33Speaker 1: share of mistakes. I mean, you know, he who is
- 16:37Speaker 1: out seeing cast the first stone, but slash people in
- 16:43Speaker 1: glass housing shouldn't stow so that I don't throw rocks.
- 16:47Speaker 1: That's right. All my stones is around my garden holding
- 16:51Speaker 1: my flowers in. I like that. One more time. My
- 16:56Speaker 1: stones is around my garden holding my flowers in. I
- 17:00Speaker 1: don't throw rock, you know, And people sit out there
- 17:03Speaker 1: man like that. That's the first time they heard this, like,
- 17:06Speaker 1: how could he? He messed up? He made a mistake,
- 17:11Speaker 1: he messed up, And lord, don't you know he messed
- 17:14Speaker 1: up because this mistake ain't quiet. This an out loud mistake.
- 17:20Speaker 1: So I mean he handling it. But the sadness of
- 17:24Speaker 1: being famous is when the mistake happens, you can't heal
- 17:27Speaker 1: it just between you and her. What do you mean?
- 17:31Speaker 1: It's it's it's public, father, It's on the news, it's
- 17:35Speaker 1: on the blogs. Now. That's now. All her friends got
- 17:39Speaker 1: something to say, all his boys got something. Everybody has
- 17:43Speaker 1: an opinion, yeah, you know, and then they shared opinions
- 17:46Speaker 1: sometimes when you and he wanted, you know, do sometimes
- 17:49Speaker 1: you just want to get through the day. Stars go
- 17:52Speaker 1: man where they can just be theirselves and ain't nobody
- 17:55Speaker 1: to jug you. Wh Where is that place that's at
- 17:57Speaker 1: the milds. Ain't it out of the country on the
- 18:01Speaker 1: other side of the world, Junior. I know. I talked
- 18:06Speaker 1: to Kevin once a long time ago. He saying, you know,
- 18:08Speaker 1: I ain't that religious of a guy. You don't have
- 18:12Speaker 1: to be religious. I don't know the scripture that says
- 18:16Speaker 1: religious it's necessary. I don't, am I right? Surely well, yeah,
- 18:22Speaker 1: I mean, religion is man made. You're you're talking about
- 18:25Speaker 1: spirituality and having a relationship with our creator. See when
- 18:29Speaker 1: when they say religious, it carries almost a negative I'm religious,
- 18:35Speaker 1: you know, it's almost like too much, too far, can't
- 18:39Speaker 1: do all that, when in essence, what he really wants
- 18:43Speaker 1: from us is a relationship. That's right, you gotta focus
- 18:48Speaker 1: on and you're gonna have a relationship with God and
- 18:50Speaker 1: not be perfect exactly Steve Harvey perfect. Well, our kids
- 18:57Speaker 1: aren't perfect. God's kids aren't perfect either. We're God's kids. Okay,
- 19:02Speaker 1: we're not perfect. And so for me being a celebrity
- 19:09Speaker 1: when I'm under attack, I just tucked myself under his
- 19:13Speaker 1: wings of protection because I stay tucked up under there
- 19:18Speaker 1: because they're shooting at me all the time. Half the
- 19:21Speaker 1: shots people take, I don't even know they're taking them. Man,
- 19:25Speaker 1: just yesterday, I was like God, and because we know you,
- 19:29Speaker 1: we get them too. Until Tommy tell me, you're just
- 19:34Speaker 1: saying I just saw one yesterday. You see you right there.
- 19:39Speaker 1: But that's what I'm saying. I'm unaware because of his
- 19:45Speaker 1: wings of protection. Half the stuff that that the attack
- 19:49Speaker 1: is coming from. But Isaiah fifty four seventeen. No weapon
- 19:55Speaker 1: for him to givest me shell prosper. It's not saying
- 19:59Speaker 1: that that nobody form no weapon against you. They're gonna
- 20:03Speaker 1: do it all the time, but it won't prosper what
- 20:08Speaker 1: you don't make off of it, what you think you're
- 20:10Speaker 1: gonna make. I'm the I'm the I'm the blank you
- 20:15Speaker 1: guy that you don't know would be doing. So when
- 20:17Speaker 1: people be sending this stuff, I'm the one sending back
- 20:19Speaker 1: blank you and blank you too. I send all that
- 20:23Speaker 1: back out, just substituted for thank you. No, no, I
- 20:26Speaker 1: ain't no thank you, blank blank you and everybody on
- 20:32Speaker 1: this chain a faithbook thank you. It's like I told
- 20:39Speaker 1: her family feud or yourself. Lady asked me, said Steve,
- 20:43Speaker 1: how do you deal with all this stuff people be
- 20:46Speaker 1: saying about you? I said, ma'am, Because you say it,
- 20:50Speaker 1: that don't make it true, right I Why am I
- 20:54Speaker 1: addressing a bunch of falsehoods? Because you're lying about me.
- 20:58Speaker 1: You don't know me and my wife, And so the
- 21:01Speaker 1: truth of it is we love each other. The truth
- 21:05Speaker 1: of it is, God blesses us. The truth of it
- 21:09Speaker 1: is that I'm married to a great person, and she's
- 21:12Speaker 1: married to a good man. And we have a family,
- 21:15Speaker 1: and our family has problems like every other family, and
- 21:18Speaker 1: we work through them. But we're gonna stay together and
- 21:21Speaker 1: we're good for each other and we're good to other people.
- 21:24Speaker 1: That's the truth that you want to print someone else.
- 21:25Speaker 1: Go ahead, that don't change who we are. Yeah, yeah,

- 21:47Speaker 1: of the hour, Miss Anne will be here with national
- 21:50Speaker 1: news and headlines. But right now it is time for
- 21:52Speaker 1: the nephew and run that brank back. Now you're married,
- 21:56Speaker 1: Joe problems. You got to be aggressive on somebody to
- 22:01Speaker 1: do something like that. You married your brother? Really happened? Huh? Tommy?
- 22:06Speaker 1: Is it you married your brother? You married my brother?
- 22:09Speaker 1: Now you married your brother. Yeah, that's a big difference, Steve.
- 22:17Speaker 1: It is hello. Hello, I'm trying to reach to your
- 22:21Speaker 1: common Hi Carmen, my name is Keith keeping from calling
- 22:26Speaker 1: you from the insurance group. Hi. How good you and
- 22:30Speaker 1: your husband? Uh? What is it? Harvey Harvey? Is that right? Okay?
- 22:36Speaker 1: You guys actually put applications and actually went in and
- 22:39Speaker 1: got your physicals done for Life Insurance, right, Yeah, yeah,
- 22:42Speaker 1: that's correct. Okay. I actually I'm calling you from the
- 22:45Speaker 1: insurance group. I have you alls, lab results and everything
- 22:48Speaker 1: as far as your physicals and blood tests and things
- 22:50Speaker 1: of that nature. Is there any way I could possibly
- 22:54Speaker 1: talk to both of you guys at the same time,
- 22:56Speaker 1: you and Harvey. Is that possible? Um? Well, sure, he's
- 22:59Speaker 1: right now, but I can get him on the five Okay.
- 23:03Speaker 1: It would be uh, it'd be kind of easy if
- 23:04Speaker 1: I kind of explained everything to both of you guys
- 23:06Speaker 1: at the same time as that. If that's okay, okay,
- 23:08Speaker 1: somehow Uh No, nothing's wrong. I mean I think I
- 23:12Speaker 1: need to just try to bring a few things that
- 23:13Speaker 1: you guys attention. But I think you know, after that,
- 23:15Speaker 1: it's pretty much you guys decision on what you do.
- 23:17Speaker 1: But I just wanted to let you know a few
- 23:19Speaker 1: things about you know, the results and things of that nature,
- 23:22Speaker 1: Life Insurance, the whole nine yards. Okay, Okay, held on,
- 23:26Speaker 1: let me stop talking to them on the phone. Hello, hey, babe, Hey,
- 23:33Speaker 1: sweet um, Look, I got the insurance people on the line.
- 23:37Speaker 1: They want to get both of us on the phone,
- 23:39Speaker 1: uh to talk to us about the insurance stuff. Hey, Harvey,
- 23:43Speaker 1: are you doing this? Is Keith keep from the insurance group?
- 23:47Speaker 1: How are you? Hey? Good with that? Nikki good? Good? Listen, um,
- 23:50Speaker 1: And I wanted to give you guys a call and
- 23:52Speaker 1: kind of follow up. And you guys did physicals and
- 23:55Speaker 1: blood tests and the whole nine yards, and I wanted
- 23:56Speaker 1: to give you guys a call. It's kind of better
- 23:58Speaker 1: if I talked to both of you at the same time.
- 24:00Speaker 1: So do you have a minute that we can actually
- 24:02Speaker 1: use to kind of get some of this information out
- 24:04Speaker 1: to you? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, I'm fine. I'm gonna break
- 24:07Speaker 1: right now. I'm good. Okay, great. First of all, we've
- 24:09Speaker 1: gotten all your your lab results back everything, and I
- 24:12Speaker 1: kind of got a few questions for you guys that
- 24:14Speaker 1: I'm a little puzzled on. How long have you guys
- 24:17Speaker 1: actually been married. We've been again years okay, now prior
- 24:22Speaker 1: to being married three years? How long did you guys
- 24:25Speaker 1: know each other before you got married? About five and
- 24:29Speaker 1: a half, five six kids? Okay, You guys have been
- 24:32Speaker 1: knowing each other pretty cluse nine years now all together? Yeah, okay,
- 24:36Speaker 1: are you actually from the same hometowns? You grew up
- 24:38Speaker 1: in the same hometown. Yeah, yeah, yeah, we grew up.
- 24:43Speaker 1: I mean if I'm I'm sorry, is this question I mean,
- 24:45Speaker 1: is this about the insurance or well, I mean there's
- 24:48Speaker 1: a few things that's that actually uh puzzling, Carmen that
- 24:52Speaker 1: we need to this this this is actually didn't want
- 24:57Speaker 1: to bring you, guys, but I mean we have to.
- 25:00Speaker 1: I have to actually give you this news. Looking at
- 25:03Speaker 1: our records, looking at all the test results, and let
- 25:05Speaker 1: me be the first to tell you that we run
- 25:06Speaker 1: these results over and over and over, trying to make
- 25:09Speaker 1: sure we are completely a hundred and right. Okay, it's
- 25:14Speaker 1: a problem with the test. Well, looking at our test guys,
- 25:17Speaker 1: Harvey Garment, it's indicating that you guys are related. And
- 25:23Speaker 1: nine times I attend you are you guys are siblings? O. Man,
- 25:30Speaker 1: what And I understand the shot. It took me too everything.
- 25:36Speaker 1: I had to make this phone call. I did not
- 25:38Speaker 1: want to make it. But looking at our records, and
- 25:40Speaker 1: we went over these records over and over and and
- 25:43Speaker 1: and the blow works tells us that you guys are
- 25:46Speaker 1: actually siblings. Man, help, are you serious, ma'am? I'm actually
- 25:58Speaker 1: this is not that this is not a laughing matter,
- 25:59Speaker 1: not a joking matter, you know. Like I said, I
- 26:02Speaker 1: did not want to call with this information what you
- 26:05Speaker 1: did make the call? Man? Look you, I don't know
- 26:09Speaker 1: what you need to go back and and and double
- 26:12Speaker 1: check your records or something. Because we've been married three
- 26:17Speaker 1: check with the laugh man, can you check with the
- 26:19Speaker 1: laugh and like paul Us back, Hary and and I
- 26:23Speaker 1: knew those questions would have come up, and we we
- 26:25Speaker 1: went over it. We went over it and over and
- 26:28Speaker 1: over it. Y'all need to go over again because oh
- 26:33Speaker 1: maybe I got this. You made the call and this
- 26:37Speaker 1: gotta be wrong. So what you need to do is
- 26:39Speaker 1: make another call and call the lab and call us
- 26:42Speaker 1: back and let us know that you either know they
- 26:44Speaker 1: made a mistake of you talking about me and my
- 26:48Speaker 1: wife and I understand hard Harry. Let me ask you
- 26:50Speaker 1: this is it possible, you know? And this is just
- 26:53Speaker 1: a question. Is it possible that your dad and maybe
- 26:56Speaker 1: her mom maybe knew each other at some point? And
- 26:59Speaker 1: what you're saying by my mom and dad that that
- 27:03Speaker 1: that's some straight look at you need to have go
- 27:06Speaker 1: back and do whatever you need to do. But when
- 27:08Speaker 1: I tell you what you say something like that again,
- 27:10Speaker 1: I take my back's gonna be coming down that beach
- 27:12Speaker 1: saying like that, hold on baby, old baby, baby baby,
- 27:16Speaker 1: I hold on baby, I got this hold on hold
- 27:19Speaker 1: I got a baby, I gotta baby. I gotta how
- 27:22Speaker 1: you're gonna call me with you you? I know you
- 27:25Speaker 1: from people do like that. But that ain't all I'm
- 27:27Speaker 1: on doing, sir, is bringing you the result or a
- 27:30Speaker 1: don't you bring me results him personally that I want you,
- 27:34Speaker 1: That's what I'm talking about. Hey, sorry, even if you
- 27:37Speaker 1: beat the messenger at the end of the day, that's
- 27:39Speaker 1: still your sister. At the end of the day, I'm
- 27:41Speaker 1: gonna want you. Look, I don't care what you're talking about. Nothing.
- 27:44Speaker 1: He ain't my damn brother, got it. I'm gonna find out.
- 27:47Speaker 1: Gona you off whatever juple you in. You're gonna call
- 27:50Speaker 1: me talking about brother. That's my wife. I am sing
- 27:54Speaker 1: that song somewhere down the line. Somebody made a mistake,
- 27:57Speaker 1: and you guys, my brother and sister got married. I'm
- 28:00Speaker 1: not as fart for that. Let me tell you, you
- 28:03Speaker 1: make the mistake of Collie. He's in one of these
- 28:05Speaker 1: numbers again and your life so I got one more
- 28:08Speaker 1: test result. I do need to get you got all
- 28:12Speaker 1: what you've been talking about them else you got to say,
- 28:15Speaker 1: Now that's gonna be working. The only other touch resont
- 28:18Speaker 1: I have, ma'am, is that this is nephew taught me
- 28:20Speaker 1: from the Steve Harby Morning Show. You just got pranked
- 28:23Speaker 1: by your girlfriend. I told you ain't like her. When
- 28:36Speaker 1: I got one thing, I got to ask both of y'all,
- 28:42Speaker 1: what is the baddest And I'm talking about the baddest
- 28:45Speaker 1: radio show in the land. Harvey more of the show
- 28:51Speaker 1: had him on the roape. Who behind you? Baby? You
- 29:03Speaker 1: tripped me out? Time you play too much. I gotta
- 29:06Speaker 1: go hard. Husband, Let me handle the baby. Let me
- 29:09Speaker 1: she was so mad at you. Not nervous or nothing,
- 29:12Speaker 1: just walking around. Man. There's busy people on this too,
- 29:17Speaker 1: coming up and saying, man, this is my favorite prank.
- 29:19Speaker 1: It's a beautiful thing to be the pranks. Everybody got
- 29:21Speaker 1: their your own favorite prank that they running. They call
- 29:24Speaker 1: over and over and over that they like, you know,
- 29:27Speaker 1: put a smile on somebody's faith together. Raymond in the
- 29:32Speaker 1: clothes Triosity Cleaners. If we play ok Triosity one more time, though,
- 29:44Speaker 1: it's gonna be a real situation. I don't know, Okay,
- 29:47Speaker 1: the other day. We can play it tomorrow because we
- 29:50Speaker 1: played it two damn much and I'm turning triosity one
- 29:55Speaker 1: more damn time. Call you. You're whipping and calf. Don't
- 29:59Speaker 1: you do it plan again this year? Can you just
- 30:04Speaker 1: hate on my plank? What's your favorite Junior? Just the
- 30:07Speaker 1: frequency of it, Carlos, that's classic. I ain't gonna lie y'all.
- 30:12Speaker 1: Stud a man. Oh that's number two. Ah, the one
- 30:18Speaker 1: with the man and the limo with the boy trying
- 30:20Speaker 1: to ride the back. My greatest teacher moment. Hold tom
- 30:27Speaker 1: can we play that on the day we can play
- 30:30Speaker 1: Let's play limon alright? Alright, alright, coming up, miss Anne
- 30:34Speaker 1: with National news. Ways you can help Puerto Rico as well.
- 30:37Speaker 1: We'll be back. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 30:42Speaker 1: Islands throughout the Caribbean communities are beginning a long road
- 30:46Speaker 1: to recovery from several major hurricanes that have ravaged the Atlantic,
- 30:50Speaker 1: but Puerto Rico in particular is facing what local officials
- 30:54Speaker 1: have described as a full blown humanitarian crisis. Less than
- 30:59Speaker 1: two weeks after Hurricane Irma made landfall on the island,
- 31:02Speaker 1: Puerto Rico was hit by Hurricane Maria, the worst natural
- 31:06Speaker 1: disaster the island has seen in nearly a century. The
- 31:10Speaker 1: island is virtually no running water or electricity. Around of
- 31:14Speaker 1: the island's crops have been destroyed. Puerto Rico needs your support.
- 31:18Speaker 1: Please join us and help Puerto Rico recover. Shout out
- 31:22Speaker 1: to Jennifer Lopez for donating one million dollars to Puerto
- 31:25Speaker 1: Rico hurricane relief efforts. Thank you, j Low. She has
- 31:29Speaker 1: announced that she and her boyfriend, former New York Yankee
- 31:32Speaker 1: Alex Rodriguez, are utilizing all of their resources and relationships
- 31:37Speaker 1: and entertainment, sports and business to garner support for Puerto
- 31:40Speaker 1: Rican and Caribbean relief efforts, and that they have secured
- 31:44Speaker 1: a commitment for help from Mayor, Major League Baseball, and
- 31:47Speaker 1: the Yankees. But that's not enough. If you want to
- 31:51Speaker 1: know more ways to help Puerto Rico and other islands
- 31:54Speaker 1: in the Caribbean, Carla has a list of ways you
- 31:56Speaker 1: can help. It's posted on Steve Harvey FM dot com.
- 31:59Speaker 1: Just to Steve Harvey FM dot com. There are a
- 32:03Speaker 1: number of organizations that we found that you can do
- 32:07Speaker 1: your part to the Steve Harvey Nation. We are a
- 32:10Speaker 1: giving group of folks listeners that always want to help
- 32:14Speaker 1: in hurricane relief effort. Is what I was trying to say. Listen,
- 32:18Speaker 1: these people in Puerto Rico our first and foremost a
- 32:23Speaker 1: part of the human race, just like the people in
- 32:25Speaker 1: Mexico City. These people are part of the human race.
- 32:30Speaker 1: Puerto Rico. In addition to being that and some great people,
- 32:35Speaker 1: they are part of the United States. Somehow the attention
- 32:41Speaker 1: is being shown over there. Is that is that like
- 32:45Speaker 1: they're an island to themselves. They they vote, they they
- 32:52Speaker 1: are part of the United States. We got to do better.
- 32:58Speaker 1: There has got to be ever been funding that can
- 33:01Speaker 1: go there, you know he did. Okay, they're funding for
- 33:06Speaker 1: Hurricane Harvey and Irma. But this this island over here
- 33:14Speaker 1: in Puerto Rico, it needs some government attention and we
- 33:18Speaker 1: we really need we really need that over there. Man.
- 33:22Speaker 1: I've been just watching it on the news. Man, this
- 33:24Speaker 1: is this is I think the President said he's going
- 33:28Speaker 1: to visit on Tuesday of next week. Okay, well he
- 33:31Speaker 1: got to do something. You know, when you can't go
- 33:34Speaker 1: by what he said, no more so, when they get
- 33:37Speaker 1: the word that a hurricane is coming to an island,
- 33:40Speaker 1: it's already too late. It's too late that you try
- 33:43Speaker 1: to get out. It's too late, seriously, man, A lot
- 33:47Speaker 1: of people try to get out, but they couldn't because
- 33:49Speaker 1: of flights, flights with a book, it's only X amount.
- 33:53Speaker 1: I don't I don't know that these airlines add extra
- 33:56Speaker 1: flights to help people get out. I don't know that
- 33:59Speaker 1: they may have. I'm not sure how that works. But
- 34:03Speaker 1: and then it's just affordability. You can afford to leave
- 34:08Speaker 1: if you don't have a plane for to get your
- 34:10Speaker 1: family out, what you're gonna do? You can't just you
- 34:12Speaker 1: can't just leave him. Yeah, And it's not like like
- 34:15Speaker 1: you said, Steve, like with Texas and the other states,
- 34:18Speaker 1: you could drive. Puerto Rico is a U S territory,
- 34:21Speaker 1: but you can't drive. No, you can't. Evacuation plan is
- 34:25Speaker 1: it's rough, man, It's it's horrible, and it's gonna take
- 34:31Speaker 1: months and longer, you know, to to restore it back
- 34:34Speaker 1: and to build the infrastructure and all of those things.
- 34:37Speaker 1: So our prayers and our money whatever we can do
- 34:40Speaker 1: to help, and and thank God for people like j
- 34:43Speaker 1: Lo and Alex Rodriguez and everyone else that's helping in
- 34:47Speaker 1: this situation. Yeah, alright, Rosie Perezas don't see any and
- 34:51Speaker 1: doing a big push too. That's good. That's good. In gentlemen,
- 34:54Speaker 1: without further ado, please stop it, missay and true. Thank you,
- 35:01Speaker 1: Thank you, guys, thank you. This is atropate. The news
- 35:03Speaker 1: well he chanted locker up, lock her up when it
- 35:05Speaker 1: was came when it came to Hillary Clinton's use of
- 35:07Speaker 1: a private email for official business. But now The New
- 35:10Speaker 1: York Times says at least six of President Trump's closest
- 35:13Speaker 1: advisers have occasionally been using private email addresses to discuss
- 35:17Speaker 1: White House matters. This new information coming on the heels
- 35:20Speaker 1: of report that say presidential son and Lloyd Jared Kushner
- 35:22Speaker 1: used the private email account to send and received some
- 35:25Speaker 1: one work related emails. In addition, the report says former
- 35:28Speaker 1: White House strategy Steve Bannon, former Chief of staff Ryan's
- 35:31Speaker 1: previous also used private email addresses sometimes. News Week confirms
- 35:35Speaker 1: that the presidential daughter of Anka Trump used a private
- 35:38Speaker 1: account when she acted as an unpaid advisor early in
- 35:40Speaker 1: the administration. These administrations, speaking of which a falling criticism
- 35:44Speaker 1: of its response to her came a reascending ships and
- 35:47Speaker 1: thousands of troops to both the US Virgin Islands and
- 35:49Speaker 1: Puerto Rico. FEMA administrator Brock Long says the Navy sending
- 35:52Speaker 1: a hospital ship and some other things. Have ten ships
- 35:55Speaker 1: in route, ten ships and barge barges in route over
- 35:58Speaker 1: the next forty eight continuing to ring you know, generators,
- 36:01Speaker 1: emergency power as well as more additional food and water
- 36:04Speaker 1: that's coming in. Thousands of federal troops on the way
- 36:06Speaker 1: to help distribute the food and water being sent in.
- 36:09Speaker 1: President Trump unveils his new tax plan later today. Meanwhile,
- 36:12Speaker 1: the latest Republican effort to repeal and replace Obamacare falls flat,
- 36:16Speaker 1: as Louisiana GP sander John Kennedy says that's, at least
- 36:19Speaker 1: for now, the bill's dead. Okay, it's deader than the doornafer.
- 36:23Speaker 1: We're not going to even have a vote on the thing.
- 36:25Speaker 1: It was a value of effort. It didn't work. The
- 36:28Speaker 1: sentence Republican leadership that says though that they're going to
- 36:30Speaker 1: try again sometimes, maybe in the middle of next year.
- 36:33Speaker 1: And Virginia Beach FBI is now so ten thousand dollar
- 36:35Speaker 1: award for information leading to the location of a missing
- 36:38Speaker 1: college student named Ashanti Billy. She's been missing since Monday,
- 36:41Speaker 1: September eight. Her mom says she works at the blimpis
- 36:45Speaker 1: at the Joint Expeditionary Base in Little Creek. The last
- 36:47Speaker 1: place her vehicle was seen was entering a military installation
- 36:51Speaker 1: when she showed her a decart, the vehicle left. The
- 36:54Speaker 1: last time my baby was seeing our baby was entering
- 36:57Speaker 1: Gate one, Little Creek Gate. So whatever happened, it happened
- 37:02Speaker 1: on that installation and the family is hoping that anybody
- 37:05Speaker 1: with information about Ashanti Billy. She's four ft eleven, she
- 37:08Speaker 1: weighs about one hundred thirty three pounds. If you have
- 37:10Speaker 1: any tips, please call the Virginia Beach Police. On a
- 37:14Speaker 1: much lighter day as night lighter note rather today the
- 37:16Speaker 1: Women's Health and Fitness Day and National Ancestor Appreciation Day.
- 37:20Speaker 1: So appreciate those who came before, who worked and loved us,
- 37:24Speaker 1: and who died for us. In some cases, unfortunately this
- 37:26Speaker 1: has been answer. We'll be back with Eugene the Butterfly

- 40:14Speaker 1: so what, No, you don't have it. You don't your
- 40:17Speaker 1: your fingerprint is the same as he. You don't exist
- 40:21Speaker 1: without him. You're the only two people that has the
- 40:24Speaker 1: exact same fingerprint. Level said, but I'm so much we
- 40:33Speaker 1: have to go. I'm sorry, but we have to go. Hey, listen,
- 40:39Speaker 1: when we come back from the break. At thirty four,
- 40:41Speaker 1: after the hour. San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovitch
- 40:44Speaker 1: condemned Trump and kept it one hundred. We'll be back.
- 40:48Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. San Antonio
- 40:52Speaker 1: Spurs legendary head coach Greg Popovitch gave a powerful speech
- 40:56Speaker 1: slamming President Trump and the foundations of racist him and
- 41:00Speaker 1: he also said it's difficult for white people to look
- 41:02Speaker 1: at themselves in the mirror and recognize the advantages they get.
- 41:06Speaker 1: Take a listen. Well, you know, I don't. I don't
- 41:09Speaker 1: think about some platform that I have. I'm an individual.
- 41:12Speaker 1: I live in this country. I have a right to
- 41:14Speaker 1: say and think what I want. It's got nothing to
- 41:16Speaker 1: do with, you know, my position. If it helps somebody
- 41:19Speaker 1: else think one way or the other about something, great,
- 41:21Speaker 1: But the discussion has to take place. You know. Obviously,
- 41:24Speaker 1: you know race is the elephant in the room, and
- 41:26Speaker 1: we all understand that. But unless it is talked about constantly,
- 41:31Speaker 1: it's not going to get better. People get bored. Oh
- 41:33Speaker 1: is it that again? They're pulling a race card again.
- 41:35Speaker 1: Why do we have to talk about that? Well, because
- 41:37Speaker 1: it's uncomfortable, and there has to be an uncomfortable element
- 41:41Speaker 1: in the discourse for anything to change, you know, whether
- 41:44Speaker 1: it's LGBT movement or you know, women's suffrage, race, it
- 41:48Speaker 1: doesn't matter. People have to be made to feel uncomfortable,
- 41:51Speaker 1: and especially white people because we're comfortable. We still have
- 41:55Speaker 1: no clue of what being born white means. And if
- 41:59Speaker 1: if you read some of the recent literature, you'll realize
- 42:02Speaker 1: it really is no such thing as whiteness. But we've
- 42:04Speaker 1: kind of made it up. That's not my original thought,
- 42:07Speaker 1: but it's true, and it's it's hard to sit down
- 42:12Speaker 1: and decide that. Yes, it's like you're at the fifty
- 42:16Speaker 1: you know, the fifty meter mark in a hundred meter dash,
- 42:19Speaker 1: and you've got that kind of a lead. Yes, because
- 42:21Speaker 1: you were born white, you have advantages that are systemically,
- 42:26Speaker 1: culturally psychologically there. Yes, you have the run in your hand.
- 42:38Speaker 1: Were already there for him? Yeah? You halfway there? Yeah. Yeah.
- 42:47Speaker 1: We haven't heard it put like that, you know, I
- 42:50Speaker 1: mean in quite a long time, or ever, perhaps you
- 42:53Speaker 1: know from someone is popular. Yeah, you know, um, he's
- 42:57Speaker 1: one correct in that. That has to be some uncomfortable
- 43:01Speaker 1: nous when discussing it. But see, you can't say, you know,
- 43:07Speaker 1: you're not discussing race. When all the people you're pointing
- 43:11Speaker 1: to all of a particular race. See, so you can't
- 43:15Speaker 1: say those people and then say sums of and then
- 43:23Speaker 1: make these men think that you're not referring directly to them,
- 43:29Speaker 1: because who else you talking about? And you know, uh,
- 43:36Speaker 1: the President didn't say race, he said, I didn't say race.
- 43:39Speaker 1: He didn't say race. But when you know it exists,
- 43:45Speaker 1: you have to choose your words better. As the president.
- 43:49Speaker 1: If you go to Alabama in front of a predominantly
- 43:53Speaker 1: white group and you say those people they referred to
- 43:58Speaker 1: them as the football player the NFL. We're getting real
- 44:02Speaker 1: specific now, then they sounds who who are we talking about? That?
- 44:09Speaker 1: Who are we talking about? And and he shouldn't. It
- 44:14Speaker 1: was a poor choice. But you know what, man, you
- 44:16Speaker 1: just can't. I think I think I think he knows
- 44:20Speaker 1: what he's doing. I think he knows what he's saying.
- 44:23Speaker 1: And I think when he goes there to his talk
- 44:26Speaker 1: to his base, to revel them up, he uses the
- 44:30Speaker 1: rhetoric that he knows they want to hear. You can
- 44:34Speaker 1: stop with it. You don't know what they want to hear.
- 44:36Speaker 1: I play golf with all these people. I met them
- 44:39Speaker 1: country clubs where ain't no black people in it where
- 44:42Speaker 1: I'm oftentimes the only one in the club house, maybe another.
- 44:47Speaker 1: So I'm privy to a lot of conversations than boys have.
- 44:52Speaker 1: And if you think race ain't got nothing to do it,
- 44:54Speaker 1: you got to be crazy. You got to be crazy.
- 44:58Speaker 1: You got to be crazy. Let me show you how
- 45:00Speaker 1: race works at the Wilshire Country Club out here in
- 45:03Speaker 1: Los Angeles. You cannot be a jew, You cannot be
- 45:08Speaker 1: an entertainer or a black to go golf at this
- 45:11Speaker 1: golf course. You're kidding me, period. You can do that
- 45:15Speaker 1: two thousand seven, do it, been doing it, done it,
- 45:19Speaker 1: gonna continue, are doing it. And guess what you can
- 45:21Speaker 1: picket if you won't. Don't give a damn we're talking.
- 45:26Speaker 1: I did not know that. I didn't know that. Welcome,
- 45:29Speaker 1: Welcome to America. Man, All right, Coming up next, nephew,
- 45:34Speaker 1: brank phone call. Which one is this one? Gonna be? Nephew,
- 45:40Speaker 1: We'll be back. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning
- 45:45Speaker 1: Show coming up at the top of the hour, right
- 45:47Speaker 1: about four minutes after today's Strawberry letter. You don't want
- 45:50Speaker 1: to miss that. But first, come on, nephew with the
- 45:53Speaker 1: frank phone call. For your limo driver. It's the limo drive.
- 45:58Speaker 1: It's the bank job. He is right here, good afternoon.

- 46:06Speaker 1: I see some one of my boys gaming your number. Man,

- 46:12Speaker 1: this is my personal number. Do you have the main number? Man?
- 46:15Speaker 1: I keep calling the main line, but there ain't nobody answering.
- 46:18Speaker 1: I had to call that about six seven times. They
- 46:20Speaker 1: keep rolling over to it like to a voicemail, or say, okay, okay, brother,
- 46:23Speaker 1: what's your name? Monday? Tony? Okay, listen, Tony. I gotta
- 46:26Speaker 1: custom in the back. Let me get them happy, can
- 46:28Speaker 1: you you got a few moments, let me get the

- 46:37Speaker 1: all right, thank you have a good eating alright to yeah,
- 46:40Speaker 1: what's up? Yeah? Now? Uh you're saying you called the
- 46:43Speaker 1: main line and you just keep going the voicemail or
- 46:45Speaker 1: something like can you call the main line? But you
- 46:47Speaker 1: know I know I'm called at last minute. I'm trying
- 46:49Speaker 1: to get a get a call for the night. Man. Okay,
- 46:51Speaker 1: what you need listen, we we gotta we got the suv.

- 49:48Speaker 1: not doing no crazy like this it. Brother. Let me
- 49:51Speaker 1: tell you something, man. What you need to do is
- 49:53Speaker 1: get your young into some type of training school or
- 49:57Speaker 1: something to find yourself a job. You're gonna go down
- 49:59Speaker 1: and I'm gonna blow your brains out. I ain't really
- 50:03Speaker 1: trying to hear all this right here. What I'm trying
- 50:05Speaker 1: to do is pay you this one. I'm fifty you
- 50:08Speaker 1: driving me where I'm trying to go, and you ain't
- 50:10Speaker 1: even back to brothers. You can't get right now, not
- 50:14Speaker 1: even advice. You need to listen to me. That's what's
- 50:16Speaker 1: wrong with you. Y' now, y'all crazy, get rich right
- 50:20Speaker 1: off overnight, ty or you need to slow down because
- 50:23Speaker 1: they got something you feel me. They got hold on,
- 50:26Speaker 1: Hold hold on, man, hold on what you know? You
- 50:28Speaker 1: don't know nothing you don't know, man, I need to
- 50:30Speaker 1: know what are you're gonna be preaching to mat dog
- 50:33Speaker 1: because I've been that man that's on driving a limo.
- 50:36Speaker 1: Because I've been that young brother. I'm trying to keep
- 50:38Speaker 1: you from going that because you won't like it. Look
- 50:41Speaker 1: at Tony I don't know what to tell you at
- 50:42Speaker 1: this point. First of all, I'm not doing it, so
- 50:44Speaker 1: you cut that out. Okay. Now I'm thinking of you
- 50:47Speaker 1: and all the other young brothers to do this thumb
- 50:49Speaker 1: you watch two many of the movies or something. Brother.
- 50:51Speaker 1: You need to get your place because they gotta place
- 50:54Speaker 1: for you. So let me tell you something. They read
- 50:56Speaker 1: my offer. I read it anything my mama told me.
- 50:59Speaker 1: They didn't want me to know. They cut it out.
- 51:00Speaker 1: Do you feel me? They looked at me every night
- 51:03Speaker 1: where they wanted to sad me, gutage that I had
- 51:06Speaker 1: to eat or die. You ain't ready for that man,
- 51:08Speaker 1: You ain't ready for what. I think he got your land.
- 51:11Speaker 1: Your brothers don't know what going on out here. You
- 51:13Speaker 1: got it too easy. See now you're talking about going down.
- 51:15Speaker 1: They're robbing the bank. You ain't no bank ropper. You'll
- 51:18Speaker 1: sound like no thundal with a remo. The way you're going,
- 51:21Speaker 1: you ain't making nothing because they were blowing your your
- 51:23Speaker 1: I want about their paper. You don't understand that? And
- 51:26Speaker 1: you sure you ready for no jail? Could I say
- 51:29Speaker 1: one more thing to you? That? Yeah? What is it?
- 51:31Speaker 1: All I want to do is tell you it is that.
- 51:33Speaker 1: I'm nephew Tommy from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. And
- 51:36Speaker 1: you're going card. They don't got me the frank phone
- 51:39Speaker 1: call you. I don't give a who you are. If
- 51:42Speaker 1: you around with them folks downtown, they're gonna blow you where.
- 51:45Speaker 1: They're gonna get your hundred years under the jail. Do
- 51:47Speaker 1: you do? Did you just hear what I just said? Though?
- 51:50Speaker 1: What you said something about with my partner? You know
- 51:53Speaker 1: I I don't no, no, no, no, I said, I'm
- 51:55Speaker 1: nephew Tommy from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You old boy.
- 52:00Speaker 1: The other another driver Cordell got me the print phone
- 52:04Speaker 1: call you if you tell me, oh you mean Steve
- 52:08Speaker 1: Harvey on the radio. No man, no, no, no, this
- 52:13Speaker 1: is are you serious name? He see? So your boy
- 52:16Speaker 1: Cordell got me to pray phone call you. Man. I'm
- 52:19Speaker 1: gonna get that. I'm gonna get that. When you lit
- 52:22Speaker 1: my fire man, I don't know that. I mean my
- 52:24Speaker 1: fight moved how he said, be careful, he said, big sea.
- 52:29Speaker 1: So he's been he's been down there. He didn't done
- 52:31Speaker 1: some time. Been that man, Come down, baby, come down, man.
- 52:37Speaker 1: I got one more question to ask you, man. What's
- 52:39Speaker 1: the baddest radio show in the land. I want the
- 52:43Speaker 1: nephew Tommy, but Steve Harvey Morning Show I got you, baby,
- 52:48Speaker 1: me and your boy Cordell got you. Yeah. Well I'm
- 52:51Speaker 1: gonna get here and I haven't meet you brother. I
- 52:53Speaker 1: oh you want to that's good. That was good. Yeah,
- 53:01Speaker 1: he's the whole man. Ain't in your business in that
- 53:05Speaker 1: but the bank clothes. So you're going down to the
- 53:10Speaker 1: bank and what you're going down that you you dropping
- 53:12Speaker 1: something off somebody. Now I'm picking something. She's no, no, no, no,
- 53:19Speaker 1: no no. Hold hold on, man, man, it's just crazy.
- 53:28Speaker 1: Get rich quick. They got some man. Blow your brains
- 53:31Speaker 1: out a boy their paper man. They wouldn't everything. My
- 53:36Speaker 1: mama told me. They looked at they read it. Man,
- 53:38Speaker 1: they gave it to me. If they didn't get they
- 53:40Speaker 1: gave me garbage to eat if I was gonna die.
- 53:42Speaker 1: You don't want this, he tried to tell you. Look,
- 53:45Speaker 1: your job is to dry stupid. First of all, I
- 53:51Speaker 1: ain't doing it. Let's get that out. Yeah, I'm not
- 53:56Speaker 1: in this at all, and I ain't just to take
- 54:02Speaker 1: a bicycle delivery. Were licking stamps. How's the play doing, Temmy,
- 54:10Speaker 1: how's the play doing? Play doing Good Tomorrow Night, making
- 54:13Speaker 1: George you Baby. I'm on my way to making George
- 54:15Speaker 1: you Tomorrow night, Mama's boy. Y'all come out and see
- 54:18Speaker 1: the show. It's all the change we're doing. Good Man.
- 54:21Speaker 1: I like Johnny Gilman. He's a real cool cat. He
- 54:23Speaker 1: just laid back hanging with john You know how big
- 54:26Speaker 1: Johnny Hill? Because Johnny is huge, and I didn't know
- 54:29Speaker 1: how huge it was. You mean as an entertainer, Johnny
- 54:37Speaker 1: shut up full side brown Man over me, not in
- 54:53Speaker 1: physicality or not? All right, we gotta go. Coming up
- 54:57Speaker 1: next to this has happened again. The Republican failed at
- 55:00Speaker 1: repealing Obamacare. Plus, we have another strawberry letter on deck.
- 55:04Speaker 1: We'll be back. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 55:08Speaker 1: Coming up next, Today's crazy strawberry letter. But first, it
- 55:11Speaker 1: has happened again, people, Yes it has. According to the
- 55:15Speaker 1: Washington Post, the Republicans the latest effort to repeal the
- 55:18Speaker 1: Affordable Care Act otherwise known as Obamacare, fell apart as
- 55:23Speaker 1: a third Republican senator said she would not support the proposal,
- 55:28Speaker 1: leaving it yeah, leaving a shy of the votes it
- 55:31Speaker 1: needs to pass. Just fix What's what you say is
- 55:33Speaker 1: wrong with the bill. Okay, how about that. Senator Susan
- 55:36Speaker 1: Collins joined two of her fellow senators by formally opposing
- 55:40Speaker 1: the plan, leaving most to accept the apparent fact that
- 55:43Speaker 1: the GOP plan at once against failed. UH. Senate Finance
- 55:48Speaker 1: Committee Chairperson or in Hatch. Or in Hatch, who oversaw
- 55:53Speaker 1: a five hour hearing on the bill, said everyone knows
- 55:57Speaker 1: that's going to fail. You don't have one Democrat vote
- 56:00Speaker 1: for it, not one Democrat to vote for it. Okay,
- 56:03Speaker 1: so it is going to fail. Colin said she couldn't
- 56:06Speaker 1: support the bill, which would have cut spending on Medicaid
- 56:08Speaker 1: and redistribute um federal healthcare funding, shortly after the Congressional
- 56:14Speaker 1: Budget Office predicted that millions of Americans would lose their
- 56:17Speaker 1: coverage by two Listen to this, those Republicans. I'm telling you, man,
- 56:23Speaker 1: this is so political. These Republicans set up in here
- 56:28Speaker 1: and ran all this time on replace and repeal Obamacare
- 56:35Speaker 1: because they try to make it seem like it's the
- 56:38Speaker 1: worst thing that could have ever happened in the history
- 56:40Speaker 1: of this country. Well guess what. They never had nothing
- 56:45Speaker 1: to repeal it or replace it with because it is
- 56:50Speaker 1: their contention that there be no universal health coverage. They
- 56:54Speaker 1: don't want that, and you know why they don't want it,
- 56:57Speaker 1: because their party does not believe, even set aside, their
- 57:02Speaker 1: party believes that every American should pull themselves up by
- 57:05Speaker 1: the bootstraps. That's the philosophy of their party, and so
- 57:09Speaker 1: us giving you anything a hand up to them is
- 57:14Speaker 1: the same as a hand out, and that's not what
- 57:17Speaker 1: the party is about. But they mask it. So now
- 57:22Speaker 1: it's Obamacare. It's really the Affordable Healthcare Act, which most
- 57:26Speaker 1: people want. But when you say Obama, then once again
- 57:31Speaker 1: that comes into play. We don't want Obamacare, but we
- 57:34Speaker 1: do want affordable healthcare. It's the same thing, people, it's
- 57:39Speaker 1: the same damn thing. But your problem really is you
- 57:44Speaker 1: have nothing to repeal it and replace it with. And
- 57:47Speaker 1: those three Republicans who you can't get to vote, they
- 57:50Speaker 1: know it because their constituents would suffer great in it,
- 57:54Speaker 1: and they can't do it. They can't do it. So
- 57:57Speaker 1: now they're back at square one. They had Let's move
- 58:01Speaker 1: on and do something ill, Okay, tax reform, let's go
- 58:04Speaker 1: yeah something, Yeah, but you get some Democrats to vote
- 58:10Speaker 1: for that. Leave Korea alone, all right? Yeah, alright, Come on,
- 58:14Speaker 1: nephew bringing a letter. Buckle up, Hold on tight, We
- 58:17Speaker 1: got it for you. Here me strawberry letter subject, what's
- 58:21Speaker 1: going on? Hello, Steve Shirley. My wife and I married
- 58:25Speaker 1: two years ago, both of us bringing children into the marriage.
- 58:28Speaker 1: I have one and she has three. But to me,
- 58:32Speaker 1: just because I am in the picture doesn't exempt the
- 58:34Speaker 1: biological father from from their responsibilities. My wife constantly says
- 58:40Speaker 1: these are my, meaning her kids. She refuses to go
- 58:43Speaker 1: obtain child support for them. She allowed their father to
- 58:47Speaker 1: file them on his taxes in the first year of
- 58:49Speaker 1: our marriage, but it was us who took care of
- 58:52Speaker 1: them that year. She allows him to pay two hundred
- 58:55Speaker 1: dollars when he can for two kids, and I'm paying
- 58:58Speaker 1: out more than that for one. I have my child
- 59:01Speaker 1: every day and every weekend. She wants me to get
- 59:04Speaker 1: a second job. Told me. If I don't get a
- 59:07Speaker 1: second job, we don't have a marriage. Told me that
- 59:10Speaker 1: her told me that her getting child support or not
- 59:13Speaker 1: was not of my business, or how much or how
- 59:15Speaker 1: often I'm tired of this. I've gotten the kids up
- 59:19Speaker 1: for school, gotten them together every morning, and picked them
- 59:21Speaker 1: up from school every day, leaving my place of business
- 59:25Speaker 1: at the busiest time of day. Nothing I wouldn't do
- 59:28Speaker 1: except take time for my own child to get a
- 59:31Speaker 1: second job, further take care care of another man's responsibility
- 59:35Speaker 1: when she could get child support to balance things out.
- 59:38Speaker 1: I even took care of her family member's baby, darn
- 59:41Speaker 1: near solo for six months, pamber's milk, and personal child
- 59:44Speaker 1: care of an infant, the whole nine And uh, she
- 59:48Speaker 1: how can she say? I haven't been cutting it? This
- 59:52Speaker 1: girl was my best friend for twenty years and now
- 59:54Speaker 1: that she is my wife, as she always claimed she
- 59:57Speaker 1: wanted to be, Steve, what's going on? Okay? You know,
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: dear my brother. In order for a relationship or marriage,
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: any time of any type of team situation, coupling, anything
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: like that to work, everyone has to do their part.
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: Everyone has to do their part in order to make
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: that whole work. And if they don't, if they don't,
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: as in this case with your with your wife and
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: with her ex, the burden falls on you. Uh. You're
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: the head of household. When you married this woman, you
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: knew she had children, and you just can't base your life,
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: you know, with your wife and your children on what
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: someone else is or is not doing. You know that
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: is Is it fair? Absolutely not. Should he be paying
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: child support? Yes, he should be paying child support? Uh?
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: Should she require him to pay child support? Yes she should.
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: But you are her husband. You knew she had kids
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: when you got in this particular relationship. So I think
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: you know this is unfortunate, it's sad, it could be
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: a double standard, it could be all that. But this
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: falls on you. This is your family now, and you
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: have to take care of your family, whatever that means. Steve. Sorry, Sulky,
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: I apologize, I apologize, No apologize because I'm gonna disagree
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: with you on this letter. Almost it is his family.
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: But let me share something with you. As I read
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: this letter and I sit here, when a man gets
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: to the point of he's got to write a letter,
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: please understand he's totally fed up. Now, let me help
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: you understand what's wrong here with this man. One of
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: the biggest things that a man has to have has
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: to have and there is no way around it. Ladies,
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: you ain't gonna you ain't gonna like this, But here
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: it is the truth. One of the biggest things that
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: a man has to have and there's nowhere around it
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: is appreciation. We have to feel appreciated the moment we
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: do not feel appreciated from our efforts. And trust me
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: when I tell you, according to this letter you're looking
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: at a man is putting out a maximum effort, not
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: only with your three children. In this letter, this woman
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: his and a relative's baby. Now he's been cutting it.
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: Now here's what the letter gets wrong with them. The
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: trifling X files the baby on the taxes. They let
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: him do that when it was them, this man and
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: you who took care of it. Surely you are correct.
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: And that is his family now and he is the
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: head of the household. And he did know she had
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: three kids. But now listen to this right here. One
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: of the biggest things a man has to have, and
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: no way around it is appreciation. The moment you are
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: not appreciative of his efforts, especially when he maximum out you,
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: Finn to have yourself a problem. Watch what I tell you.
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: I'll tell you the rest of it if you want
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: me to when I come back. Well you know that
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: we do all right. Steve will have part two of
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: today's Strawberry Letter coming up at twenty three after the hour,
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: will be back. You're the thing, Steven show a right
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: coming up in about twenty minutes, Hollywood super producer Lee
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: Daniels is going to be our special guest. Yes, he's
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: gonna tell us about the season premiere of Empire tonight.
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: Cookie and Lucius are back, of course. But first come on,
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: Steve with your response to today's Strawberry Letter, Part two,
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: and then let me get right back to this letter,
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: because I want, I want to say this in all sincerity,
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: especially to any woman out there that might be going
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: through the same thing right here. You're going to mess
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: around and lose a really good man here, because there's
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: nothing in this letter that does not say that this
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: is not a good man here. See when the mayor
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: writes these letters like this, and I'm telling you what
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: you've done this. Look, this woman wants this her husband
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: to get a second job. They both bought kids into
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: the marriage. She got three and he got one. They
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: all live under the same roof. Um. She refuses to
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: obtain child support for the kids, and wife constantly saying
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: these are my kids, meaning her kids. She refuses. She
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: allowed the father to file him on the tax in
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: the first year marriage, but it was them, this man
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: and his wife who took care of him that year.
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: She allows him to pay two hundred dollars when he
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: can for two kids, and I'm paying out more than
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: that for one. I have my child every day and
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: every weekend. She wants me to get a second job.
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: Told me, if I don't get a second job, we
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: don't have a marrich Okay, whoa whoa lady, lady are you?
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: Are you out of your mind here? I'm telling you something, ladies.
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: And the biggest thing for a man is appreciation. If
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: you do not appreciate your man, your man is not
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: sticking around for that. That is one of the biggest
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: secrets about us. If you do not know it appreciation.
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: I'm gonna do a whole chapter when I put this
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: book together on what this appreciation value is to him. Man.
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: Here's a woman who don't appreciate him at all. This
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: a man gets up, get the kids off to school,
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: get him together every morning, pick him up from school
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: every day, leave his place of business at the busiest
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: time of day. Nothing I wouldn't do except take time
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: from my own child to get a second job. See
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: if this man go get a second job, he ain't
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: and the family picture no more. Provide leadership and love,
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: which is more important than the second job. And I
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: will say this about two jobs. If I've learned this
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: a long time, I'm gonna please understand this is the truth.
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: If one job. If you got one job and it
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: ain't cutting it, what makes you think two jobs. I've
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: learned that a long time. If you've got one job
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: and it ain't cutting it, what makes you think two jobs?
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: It's gonna cut it. That If you got a job
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: that's cutting it, and you add a second job, you're
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: doing something. But if your one job ain't cutting it,
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: what makes you think a second All you're gonna do
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: is miss time out the family. This, this man says,
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: I don't want to take out time for my own
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: child to get a second job. But here's the key, further,
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: take care of another man's responsibility. It is a man's
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: responsibility to take care of his children. All this man
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: is saying is, look, just make them do what they're
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: supposed to do by law. I got it from here.
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: I keep getting them up, getting them ready, picking them up,
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: taking them places, providing the conversations in the leadership. But man,
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: make him do something. But this woman right here is
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: talking about he ain't cutting it? Are you losing sight
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: of the fact that this man has taken on you
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: and all of yours. All he's asking you to do
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: is required what you did not do in the beginning.
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: This is an example of a lady who has no requirements.
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: She got a misplace. If you have requirements on your
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: man in the first place, the one that gave you
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: all these babies, and then not the desert it you
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: and not paying you, you can at least make him
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: honor his obligation. It is a law that you have
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: to take care of your child. Let's forget the moral issue.
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: It is a law in every state. It is a
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: state law that you take care of your children. This
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: ain't forget the God's part of it, forget the rules
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: of manhood. It's a state law, by law, he has
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: to take care of his children. All this man and
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: this letter saying to this woman is make him do
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: what he's supposed to do. I'm gonna sit here and
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: deal with the rest of them. See him sending money,
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: that's just a small portion of it. This man is
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: picking him up from school, This man is taking him
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: to the games. This man is giving out the advice.
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: This man is waking him up. This man is leaving
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: his job. All he's saying is make this other man
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: do what is required by law. I got a punk
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: ass man. He holding up his end in a bog
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: and morally, spiritually and none of that. I got that.
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: But legally though, he's supposed to send this money for
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: this woman to tell her new husband. It ain't your
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: business how much I get from them and what I
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: say to them. Are you crazy? But you're expecting a
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: man to go out here and keep humping and hustling
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: for you and yours, And this the attitude you got, Ladies,
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: you're gonna mess around lose a real good man here.
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: I can assure you that by not being appreciative of
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: what he's doing or done, make your man, your X man,
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: be responsible as a man and take care of his children.
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: All right, Thank you, Steve, We gotta go. You can
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: email us or instagram us your thoughts on today's Strawberry

- 1:08:31Speaker 1: Carmelo Anthony has been traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder. Okay, yeah,
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: he's out of there. Out of there. As a player
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: for the Knicks, Carmelo led the team to the playoffs
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: three times. Carmelo has now released a farewell letter to
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: New York. He says, New York equipped me to make
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: it in any place in the world. Uh. It taught
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: me how to be comfortable with being uncomfortable, and no
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: matter what happens, I will always love you. Carmelo was
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: with the team for seven seasons and is one of
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: the few Nicks to score more than ten thousand count
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: them ten thousand points? Wow, hey, big dog? Yeah, you
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: know what else is on on deck right now? Was happening?
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: Do you Wade? Baby might be going to the Cavaliers.
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: By the way, still got it now, don't think you
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: ain't got no steal got game, sir. But what he
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: brings to the team to is experience leadership, you know,
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: the championship experience. That's championship experience exactly called. And him
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: and Lebron coming up to flow fighting all right, coming
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: up next at forty one after the hour. As promised,

- 1:10:46Speaker 1: my man, Mr Lee Daney, Welcome, good morning. Leave Let
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: me man, when when you came up with this idea?
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: When when Pride came to you, did you think, man,
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: you would be in season four? I think it was dude.
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: I don't even think we was going to get the
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: pilot going on because was nobody buying black television at
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: the time. I only did it because I was I
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: only did it because I wanted to experiment. Like to say,
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: that I had played in television. They said that that
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: you could make money in television. So I said, okay,
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: let me just check it off my bucket list. I
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: was fitting to do. Uh, I was gonna do uh
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: Richard Pryor afterwards the movie. The movie. Yeah, Now, that
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: used to be my one of my dreams. I wanted
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: to play Richard Pride when I was younger. You could
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: have you could have easily. You could have been a
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: nuance about you that you could have easily saying that,
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: I appreciate that. We let let's man, let's talk about
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: this new season. We got new music, splash events, you
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: got high profile guests. Tell us about it in what
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: Cookie and Lucius up? Okay, so well, you know, they
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: got me under bag and gaging bound to tell you
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: exactly what's going on. But I can tell you a
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: little bit. I can tell you. I can tell a
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: little bit was happening. I think that what we realized
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: over the years as we were finding ourselves is that
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: people really didn't care about the big guest stars. People
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: didn't really care. They really ultimately cared about the family
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: and what was going on in the family. So we've
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: cut back way on the guest stars and focus more
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: on the family. Though we do have a couple of
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: guest stars coming on um the season. Um Demi Moore
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: is coming on uh to play this nurse that's that's
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: coming for all of them, and I can't quite tact you.
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: You know, it's pretty it's a shakaro when you open.
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: When we opened the season with Lucius and we find
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: out really what what's going to happen finally with Lucius
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: and Cookie, so that to the big story plot there
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: with the family and Uh, I think we just found
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: out that mostly that the people want to see the
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: family that you know, they don't want to see the
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: flashy guest stars. They really want to focus on on
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: the family. I'm telling you man, that's really true, because
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: I just want to know what the hell Lucia's doing
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: and what coo and then and what is she wearing?
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: What is she wearing? We really we have we have
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: so much fun with the fashion on the show. For me,
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: it was really about creating um black opulace and showing uh,
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: you know, black people in fashion in a way that
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: we have not seen before on television. And I did
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: see it a little bit. I remember I was inspired
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: by Diane Carroll and uh, you know, on Dynasty, and
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: seeing that affected me and I wanted everybody to feel
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: this way I felt when I saw Diane Carroll on
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: on Dynasty, like, hey, man, let's switch. Let's talk about Star.
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: She's gonna follow Empire at nine pm. Star for everybody
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: out there is the story three Girls rise to fame.
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: The last season ended with the girls getting a first
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: big break. So tell us about this season, man, Well,
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: this season, um, they signed with a record label and uh,
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: and we see them competing and we bring a lot
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: of boys on on on, so they're competing with boys groups.
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: He got Luke James, who's incredible singer, and Evan Ross
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: Diana Ross's son who's an incredible actor, uh, and singer
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: on the show. And Elijah Kelly, I don't know what
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: he knows him from the Butler. I put him in
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: the Butler and he was in the Whiz and incredible singers.
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: So it's sort of like, um, the Supremes and the
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: Temptations is sept of modern day version and they're competing
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: with each other within within this motown esque sort of environment.
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: And and and Clean the Teeth is doing her thing.
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: You know she's he's uh, you know, she's a guy,
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: fearing woman with with with a gun in her pocketbook, attractive,
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: yea wait with a different wig for everything. Ye come through,
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: come through Queen. Yeah. How is that for you? Though? Lee?
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: You know you've worked with a lot of people, but
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: you're working with Queen. You got Tyre's so many great
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: singers on the show Man. What's it like to work
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: with so many talented people you were giving? You know,
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: I think that this is people of color there, so
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: you know, it's uh, it's a blessing because everybody is
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: just happy to come to work. And I sometimes, uh,
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: I forget, you know, I take I take it for granted.
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: Sometimes that I take for granted you know what I
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: got going on, and I have to stop back and
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: just say, whoa this is? This is pretty powerful. God's
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: given me some good stuff. Actors are willing to just
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: jump in and play these characters. You know, Tyrese is uh,
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: my gath is coming on. Incredible actors are coming on
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: just to play in in in my world and to
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: say my words. So um, it's good. It's really good.
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: And I think that you know where Empire represents the
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: opulence of the African American experience. Star represents the underbelly
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: of of the struggle of what it's like to not
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: be famous and not be rich. Well, Lee, I'm gonna
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: tell you something for all you've done man for us
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: on television, man over, you know, I just you know,
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: I'm just I just Uh, I'm just doing my thing,
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: you know, I'm I'm gonna go back and do a
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: movie now. And uh, it's been a while since the Butler.
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: I haven't worked in a while in films, so I
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: figured I take a step back and and go back
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: to what I really love to do. And I missed doing,
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: which is film. So I'm excited about going back to
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: that doing well. Hey, listen to everybody, catch all new
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: episodes of The New Empire and start tonight on Fox,
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: starting and not leave. Danns you the best man, Thank you.
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: Come on, Taki, you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: All right, here we go, Steve, you gotta help us
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: on this one. It's the Nephew and Junior with right
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: or Wrong again? What Junior ain't calling from different numbers now,
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: he ain't using him? So come on tell me what?
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: All right? So boy, well, we were here about five
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: on late night. We talked, so I told him, you
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: tell me what you think it. Don't tell him it
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: don't make sense for a skydiver to where a helmet.
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. What is the helmet right there? Now? Tim?
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: You're absolutely right? What is this helmet? Because this pass
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: you don't over hell, you need a helmet on. You
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: think from thirty times, you think from three thousand high
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: up that place, you think you can jump out in
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: this helmet? Gonna help you? All that helmet gonna do
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: is make you look a little better in the cash,
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: all right, that's all. That's just something else they gotta
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: peel off for your your uncle like that with nephew. Alright,
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: So sure I'm right on there alright, So sure above
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: your eyes are your eyebrows? Right? Yes? Right up? Call
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: it eyebrows? Right? I told you it shouldn't be a mustache.
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: It should be a my off brown. Shouldn't it see
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: right there? Yes? Thank god? But why if it's an
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: eyebrow updown, shouldn't it be a mouth brown lit brown?
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying, Who in mustad? Who threw
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: that in there? Where I come from? Where that come from.
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: That's a mouth brow. I like it, Tommy two for
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: two today. You know why Steve is mad though, I'm stah,
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: that's why. Okay, here here, here, Steve has a mouth brow,
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: all right here like you can't have you? I told ju,
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: if you get cheated by the Better Business Bureau, it
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: ain't nobody you can call. Oh, that's right, right a wrong? Hey,
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: how ain't gonna cheat you? You're right though, I like it.
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: That's another girl one. I called him last night. I
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: was in Pittsburgh. This when this when you hung up them? Now,
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: Cannibals eat people, y'all know that, right? Yeah? I told
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: him they don't eat clowns because they taste funny. You know, accountable, accountable,
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: and he's not gonna eat clowns. Be could they taste funny?
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying? Funny? Yeah? I was thinking
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: you was getting this offline somewhere out of his ignorant mind.
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: Anybody say not more than one person clown if you
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: google that the clowning it penny way, he tastes, he tastes. Okay, okay,
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: y'all tell me what white skindld wrong? All right, all right,
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: check this out. Tell Junior, when a blind person go
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: sight seeing, the dog is telling him what they're looking at. Up,
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: when a blind person go sight seeing, the dog is
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: telling them what they're looking at. I like this because
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: it's just stupid, because dogs can't the dogs just telling
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: them what they know. They're a blind person go to
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: Niagara Falls. The dog got to tell him what they
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: look in that Harry, but he got to tell him
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: with it. Look, stop it stopped doing. Stop imitating the dog.
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: What I gotta tell him, both of them? Stop it? Look,
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: you're just you're mad. You're mad. We know are you're mad? Okay,
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: what I'm mad about? Because you have a mouth brow.
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: You think I'm gonna be mad about that? Ignorant even
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: to change in here with no world changing here, Junior, No,
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: you got anhing like? Yeah, okay, tell him. A building.
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: It's called the building when they building it, but after
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: it's built, it should be called a bill, right because
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: they're not building it no more. It's a built You know,
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: building is in the process of building. After it's built,
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: it's a building. You don't go into a building. Why
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: would you go in there? They're working on it? You
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: know you want to go into a built. What did
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: you be saying? Do you hear do you hear this?
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: You want to say? You right timing? I can't believe,
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: but ain't it? Ain't that right there? When they're building
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: the building, their building it after it's finished. It's built,
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: so it's to be called a bill. They're called were
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: not changing a good laughing? Do we gotta go? Damn,
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: we gotta go? Matew Tommy built in the build. We'll
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: be back. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Show. All right,
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: So the President Trump starts his day of tweeting like
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: I said, well, Twitter responds to questions of Trump breaking
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: terms of service. Twitter says that President Trump's tweets threatening
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: North Korea don't violate the site's terms of service because
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: they are newsworthy. The social media platform said yesterday it
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: had been asked why the president's statements about North Korea
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: not being around much longer and possibly having no choice
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: but to destroy that nation didn't run a follow of
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: the rules about promoting violence. Twitter says that while it
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: holds all accounts to the same rules, the company considers
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: whether a tweet is of public interest. Twitter will update
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: to the public guidelines to reflect their decision making process
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: more clearly. All right, So yeah, apparently because it's a
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: public interest. Um, you know, it's okay that he tweets
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: these things, even yeah, even though you know it sounds
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: like violence to them, it's newsworthy and it's of public interest.
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: So he gets, you know, a pass the president does
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: for tweeting such things. Can you go to Twitter jail
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: because they do it on Facebook, they'll suspend you, put
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: you off because if you do something stupid or put
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: some up crazy. Can they do that on Twitter too? Well?
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: I mean that's I think that's what this story is about. Yeah,
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: that's exactly what the story is about. But they're saying
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: he they can't do it to him. But I guess
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: if you actually, you know, tweet some violent thing, they
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: can get you. But because this is new who's worthy
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: and of public interest, then you know, he gets a pass. Uh.
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: First of all, I don't care that we try to
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: hold Twitter accountable for the President's tweets. The problem is
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: the president is tweeting, So why are we even talking
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: to Twitter? Is amazing to me. It's not Twitter who
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: needs to change their policy. Why why are we allowing
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: stuff about North Korea. Why is our president tweeting it?
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: That's the bigger issue here. So for starters, let's just
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: stop talking to Twitter about while they're allowing him to
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: do anything. Who can stop him? Right, it's it's not
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: gonna change Steve your absolutely who Look, his daughter can't
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: stop him, His son in law can't stop Malania, can't
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: stop him. The dude that all the people he didn't
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: hide every Why are we talking to Twitter? It's an
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: irrelevant piece of news, But I mean this is the
- 1:27:10Speaker 1: only way a lot of people have to, you know,
- 1:27:12Speaker 1: to see what he's thinking as our president. No, surely,
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: surely he has rallies. First of all, No, president, just
- 1:27:19Speaker 1: keep you already one. Why don't we going to these rallies?
- 1:27:22Speaker 1: Fault Well, because he's campaigning? Yeah, no, no, man, See
- 1:27:27Speaker 1: that's wrong. He's the president of the United States. All
- 1:27:31Speaker 1: he has to do is to issue a statement and
- 1:27:33Speaker 1: the world listens. That's true. It's called the press conference. Yeah, well,
- 1:27:39Speaker 1: we know who had rallies? Hello es. He likes the crowd,
- 1:27:45Speaker 1: and he may be doing these rallies. Do you think
- 1:27:47Speaker 1: Steve to avoid issues to talk about real things that
- 1:27:50Speaker 1: he should be doing. And he's still in a campaign
- 1:27:53Speaker 1: for examp. Why tweets about the NFL? Why since he
- 1:27:59Speaker 1: made the state? Fifteen tweets, three tweets about North Korea,
- 1:28:05Speaker 1: seven tweets about the health bill. Do the math, fifteen
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: tweets about the NFL m HM, seven tweets about healthcare,
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: and three tweets about North Korea. This ought to be reversed.
- 1:28:24Speaker 1: Tweets about North Korea, fifteen tweets about healthcare and three
- 1:28:29Speaker 1: about the NFL. This is what happens when you vote
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: a reality star. Yeah, yeah, yeah, all right, we'll be
- 1:28:36Speaker 1: back right after these jams. Back to back jams is
- 1:28:39Speaker 1: what you got. Right now. You're listening to the String Show,
- 1:28:44Speaker 1: all right. People are still talking about this guy's the
- 1:28:46Speaker 1: Dallas Cowboys when they locked arms and took a knee
- 1:28:49Speaker 1: before Monday night's game against the Arizona Cardinals, But they
- 1:28:53Speaker 1: put their own unique twist on the protest that was
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: seen in every NFL stadium over the weekend. Owner Jerry
- 1:28:59Speaker 1: Joe did you guys see this? Joined his players on
- 1:29:02Speaker 1: the field where they all locked arms and took a
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: knee in a show of unity, to a chorus of
- 1:29:07Speaker 1: booth from the Arizona fans. But before the national anthem
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: was performed, the players got up, walked to the sideline
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: and stood with arms locked for the song. After the game,
- 1:29:19Speaker 1: which Dallas won by the way, seventeen uh Jones said,
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: it was easy to see that a message about unity
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: and equality was being pushed aside by the controversy. I
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: want our actions to be louder than words. We did it,
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: We made our statement. What do you guys think? Yeah,
- 1:29:37Speaker 1: I actually like that because what that does is is
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: it makes a statement of unity and it disallows them
- 1:29:46Speaker 1: from stop saying the untruth of it, the non truth
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: is that this is not against the troops. So many
- 1:29:55Speaker 1: people are misled about the kneeling doing the plan of
- 1:29:58Speaker 1: the national anthem. It's not about the troops. You ask
- 1:30:02Speaker 1: anyone of the NFL players. It has nothing to do
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: with the troops. They support the troops, the NFL do
- 1:30:07Speaker 1: it does a lot with the troops. That's not what
- 1:30:10Speaker 1: it's saying. Nobody's mad at the troops. We all love
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: the troops and support them. They're angry with the injustice
- 1:30:16Speaker 1: that people of color have to suffer at the hands
- 1:30:20Speaker 1: of brutality by the police department. That's what they keep
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: talking about Let me ask you this question. If we
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: have these owners now who have joined forces with the players,
- 1:30:31Speaker 1: and we all look unified, why is it now that
- 1:30:34Speaker 1: not any of these owners will not come and pick
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: up Colin Kaepernick. I mean a lot of people have
- 1:30:39Speaker 1: asked that question. They still say Kaepernick would be too
- 1:30:42Speaker 1: much of a distraction. A lot of them are still
- 1:30:44Speaker 1: saying that. The think the reason why these owners came
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: down there and locked arms with these players is because
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: President Trump called the players. Then then then this Sunday
- 1:30:57Speaker 1: they all get together and lock arms. But it was
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: and like it was like this last season when the
- 1:31:02Speaker 1: same thing was going on. Yeah, just a few players
- 1:31:07Speaker 1: supported college with that. And then Jerry Jones say, my
- 1:31:11Speaker 1: players need to stand for the national anthem. Didn't right,
- 1:31:19Speaker 1: because they work for the Dallas Cowboys. But see he
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: goes out there in locks arms with his players as
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: this is all because of what the President said. I
- 1:31:29Speaker 1: want you all to understand this now. Because the President
- 1:31:32Speaker 1: called these men something, and those people, them owners went, nah, man,
- 1:31:38Speaker 1: these some good dudes here, these are some great men,
- 1:31:41Speaker 1: And I'm going down here to show these men that
- 1:31:44Speaker 1: we are in business together, that I support them and
- 1:31:48Speaker 1: their rights. And their beliefs. That's what he sent it for. Man.
- 1:31:53Speaker 1: But if our president wasn't spewing such divisive tones from
- 1:31:58Speaker 1: the White House, this we ridiculous what he's doing. Man,
- 1:32:02Speaker 1: it is. But you know, the sad part of it all,
- 1:32:05Speaker 1: this is, uh, it's just empowering his basis stronger and
- 1:32:13Speaker 1: stronger to the point where now these people who are
- 1:32:16Speaker 1: out here doing real life stuff are acting it out
- 1:32:18Speaker 1: in the way that they were doing. They're channing the
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: N word in the Boston Stadium and doing during the
- 1:32:24Speaker 1: New England Guy, they were chanting the N word in
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: a slogan they had created for the players that was kneeling.
- 1:32:31Speaker 1: Now it's not you know what, we gotta go, We'll
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: we'll be back to finish that thought, Steve, with just
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: one more thing you're listening to all right, here we
- 1:32:41Speaker 1: are with our last break of the day. Just one
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: more thing. So they were channing the N word in Boston, Steve, Yeah,
- 1:32:49Speaker 1: a slogan. I looked it up, man, I heard him
- 1:32:52Speaker 1: saying it, but I couldn't. I can't remember exactly what.
- 1:32:56Speaker 1: Something about if you don't like the country, if you
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: don't like the country, in words, go away, something to
- 1:33:03Speaker 1: that effect. I don't want to miss quoted. It's not that.
- 1:33:09Speaker 1: Stop saying we don't like the country and we're unpatriotic
- 1:33:12Speaker 1: and there. Stop saying that it has nothing to do
- 1:33:15Speaker 1: with patriotism, nothing on it. What's patriotic When a policeman
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: kills one of these boys and one of these men
- 1:33:25Speaker 1: for no reason, what's patriotic about that? You can but see,
- 1:33:30Speaker 1: you can come out and speak out against the NFL players,
- 1:33:33Speaker 1: but you can't speak out against the Nazis and the KKK.
- 1:33:37Speaker 1: That's what everybody's tripping on. All of a sudden. We
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: got to be sums, but they got to be people
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: on the both sides of the people. You can't beat.
- 1:33:46Speaker 1: Listen to me. You can't be in a hate group,
- 1:33:49Speaker 1: hate lesbians, hate gays, hate Jews, hate blacks, and call
- 1:33:56Speaker 1: yourself a good person. You're not. You're not a good person, man,
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: and you don't know you're not a good person. I'm
- 1:34:04Speaker 1: sorry you hate another person cause they are how who
- 1:34:07Speaker 1: they are. You're not a good person. The hell are
- 1:34:11Speaker 1: you saying that for? What's good about a neo Nazi?
- 1:34:14Speaker 1: What's good about a skin here? What's good about him?
- 1:34:17Speaker 1: M hmm, it's crazy man. And just because you know
- 1:34:22Speaker 1: you take a stand against something you believe in, doesn't
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: mean you don't love this country. Doesn't mean you're not
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: a patriot. That is crazy. You don't have to love
- 1:34:31Speaker 1: everything that goes on in this country. You don't have
- 1:34:34Speaker 1: to let me stand up and make a change. The
- 1:34:38Speaker 1: white lady who called the police, the police responded on
- 1:34:41Speaker 1: the police shot her in the stomach and killed Yeah.
- 1:34:44Speaker 1: I think that was in Minnesota, Stiti. Okay. Now, the
- 1:34:47Speaker 1: officer that killed this woman is some maya. You think
- 1:34:52Speaker 1: for one minute that he can kill this woman and
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: have to pay nothing for it. No, But now we're
- 1:35:01Speaker 1: gonna see if that rule for police brutality goes for
- 1:35:06Speaker 1: everybody all around the board. And you know what, can
- 1:35:10Speaker 1: I tell you something? For shooting this woman for no reason,
- 1:35:13Speaker 1: this innocent woman, he should do some time. But the
- 1:35:17Speaker 1: same officer that choked the man out on the ground
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: with the pack of cigarettes in New York, he should
- 1:35:22Speaker 1: have been doing some time. The same officer that killed
- 1:35:24Speaker 1: a man in Carolina for running shot him seven times
- 1:35:27Speaker 1: in the bay, he's supposed to do some time. The
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: man that shot the brother up in the car when
- 1:35:33Speaker 1: the girl was faced time and live in the car
- 1:35:38Speaker 1: that he's supposed to be doing some time. If the
- 1:35:41Speaker 1: list is on and on and on. Uh Eximmerman is
- 1:35:45Speaker 1: supposed to be doing some time yet. But the fact
- 1:35:50Speaker 1: that you can kill these men of color and nobody
- 1:35:53Speaker 1: have to suffer anything for it, that's why they're on
- 1:35:57Speaker 1: their knees, man, And they can't protest that kind of
- 1:36:00Speaker 1: injustice in this free country. Come on during the yeah,
- 1:36:07Speaker 1: not during the anthem, as you know. Lebron James went
- 1:36:10Speaker 1: on the attack over the weekend and and famously called
- 1:36:13Speaker 1: Donald Trump a bomb. Uh King James, Yeah, I saw
- 1:36:17Speaker 1: it too. He did not back down at a press
- 1:36:19Speaker 1: conference as he spoke about the devisive comments made about
- 1:36:22Speaker 1: the NFL and the NBA. Although never addressing him as
- 1:36:26Speaker 1: president or saying the name, Lebron instead referred to number
- 1:36:30Speaker 1: forty five is that guy and said the people that
- 1:36:33Speaker 1: voted for him made a mistake. Lebron said, if you
- 1:36:35Speaker 1: voted for him or not, you may have made a mistake,
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: and that's okay. Lebron continued, I mean, I've done things
- 1:36:40Speaker 1: for my kids and realize I should have given my daughter,
- 1:36:43Speaker 1: uh that many skittles? Okay, how about that? Maybe I
- 1:36:46Speaker 1: shouldn't have done that. She won't go to sleep now.
- 1:36:50Speaker 1: It was a mistake, Yeah, it was a mistake. People
- 1:36:52Speaker 1: make mistakes, and there are a few, not many, but
- 1:36:56Speaker 1: there are a few that are saying, uh, from Donald
- 1:36:59Speaker 1: Trump's base that they made a mistake. They are there
- 1:37:01Speaker 1: are some people that are speaking up now saying that
- 1:37:04Speaker 1: the well, you know, it's it's just been one of
- 1:37:09Speaker 1: those weeks for us. You know. I think everybody is
- 1:37:12Speaker 1: trying to grapple with what we have to deal with
- 1:37:15Speaker 1: that comes from the White House. I think that's something
- 1:37:18Speaker 1: everybody has to deal with. I'm really really concerned though,
- 1:37:24Speaker 1: you know, it's really crazy to me, is I don't
- 1:37:28Speaker 1: care Steph Carrey goes to the White House to take
- 1:37:32Speaker 1: a pitch and have ice cream and cake with the president.
- 1:37:35Speaker 1: I don't care. You don't want to go, that's cool,
- 1:37:37Speaker 1: and to get uninvited that whatever. I am concerned about
- 1:37:42Speaker 1: somebody coming over here to blow up my house. Now,
- 1:37:47Speaker 1: if we could start focusing on what we're gonna do
- 1:37:49Speaker 1: with this this North Korean dude, so we can try
- 1:37:52Speaker 1: to live in peace, because pieces the answer here. I
- 1:37:56Speaker 1: can't believe this guy. It's the president, and I can't
- 1:38:00Speaker 1: believe you. I thought that if he got there in office,
- 1:38:05Speaker 1: maybe he'd act up to the level of the office. Now, man,
- 1:38:08Speaker 1: he bringing office right on down where he is, so Patty,
- 1:38:12Speaker 1: we gotta go take us home. Steve, have a great
