- 0:00Speaker 1: Chuck Schumer, the man in charge of the Democratic Party,
- 0:03Speaker 1: the de facto face of the Democratic Party, the same
- 0:06Speaker 1: guy that was in charge of the government shut down
- 0:09Speaker 1: to try to save his job, to show the extreme
- 0:11Speaker 1: wing of his party. Hey, I really am an extremist.
- 0:14Speaker 1: Showing it yet again. He is now calling the Save Act.
- 0:19Speaker 1: What is a SAVE Act? It's very simple. It requires
- 0:22Speaker 1: an ID to vote in federal elections. He is now
- 0:26Speaker 1: saying it is Jim Crow two point zero. He went
- 0:31Speaker 1: on MS now and the Senate Minority Leader said that
- 0:36Speaker 1: the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act is two point zero.
- 0:40Speaker 1: Jim Crow. The co said, so, Leader Schumer, this talk
- 0:44Speaker 1: about elections security has revived discussions of the Saved Act,
- 0:48Speaker 1: which you have said you oppose. Proponents of it say
- 0:51Speaker 1: that it's you know, to have ID, you have to
- 0:54Speaker 1: prove us citizenship to be able to vote. Some of
- 0:57Speaker 1: the claims they make, to be clear overstated. We know
- 0:59Speaker 1: that there's not widespread election fraud, but polling does suggest.
- 1:04Speaker 1: There's a new Pew Research poll that ninety five percent
- 1:08Speaker 1: of Republicans seventy one percent of Democrats like the idea. Well,
- 1:13Speaker 1: you know what, let me just let you hear a
- 1:16Speaker 1: little more of this conversation, and I want you to
- 1:18Speaker 1: hear how and when you're listening to this, I want
- 1:22Speaker 1: you to think about one thing. How racist is it
- 1:26Speaker 1: to imply that people that are black or Hispanic, or
- 1:33Speaker 1: of any minority live in a world where showing an
- 1:40Speaker 1: ID is some sort of ridiculous idea. I want you
- 1:47Speaker 1: to think about how racist it is to imply, in
- 1:50Speaker 1: twenty twenty six that minorities, right, not not white people,
- 1:54Speaker 1: just minorities, you could not expect them to actually have
- 2:00Speaker 1: an ID? Can you? Can you really just think about
- 2:03Speaker 1: what I said? Think about what I just said. They
- 2:11Speaker 1: are now in twenty twenty six saying no, no, no, you
- 2:14Speaker 1: can't expect a black person or a Hispanic person to
- 2:20Speaker 1: have an ID. That's the Democratic Party's line. That is
- 2:27Speaker 1: literally the definition of racism, one oh one. It doesn't
- 2:32Speaker 1: get any more racist than that. That is racism. And
- 2:38Speaker 1: then they say, well, it's Jim Crow to ask or
- 2:42Speaker 1: expect a minority person to have an idea. Now again,
- 2:46Speaker 1: if you're African American, I would be incredibly offended by
- 2:50Speaker 1: this that they are saying that you're so backwards, that
- 2:54Speaker 1: you're so beneath the rest of society that we could
- 2:58Speaker 1: not expect you, as a b person or a Hispanic
- 3:02Speaker 1: person to live in a world where an ID is
- 3:06Speaker 1: actually part of like functioning as an adult. What's also
- 3:11Speaker 1: interesting about the hypocrisy here is point number two before
- 3:15Speaker 1: I play Chuck, and that's this And this part actually
- 3:20Speaker 1: makes me even more angry. You know what Democrats are
- 3:24Speaker 1: always obsessed with. They are always obsessed with gun control.
- 3:29Speaker 1: We've talked about that a lot on this show. And
- 3:32Speaker 1: what a Democrats say. They want to get rid of
- 3:34Speaker 1: every loophole, right, that's their obsession. I mean, how many
- 3:38Speaker 1: times have they said over and over again that they're
- 3:41Speaker 1: true and genuine? As obsession is is background checks? Universal
- 3:46Speaker 1: background checks. We must have background checks, background checks, I mean,
- 3:50Speaker 1: over and over again. Well, how do you get a
- 3:51Speaker 1: background check? How do you get a background check? You
- 4:00Speaker 1: have to show an ID. Democrats are in favor. Let's
- 4:05Speaker 1: be very clear. Democrats are in favor of an ID
- 4:12Speaker 1: when buying a firearm, but they're not in favor of
- 4:16Speaker 1: you showing an ID when you vote in an election.
- 4:19Speaker 1: So you need to ask yourself this question, why why
- 4:24Speaker 1: would democrats not want you to show an ID when
- 4:29Speaker 1: you're voting. The only answer that I can come up
- 4:32Speaker 1: with is because they want there to be the ability
- 4:35Speaker 1: to cheat in that election. You want to know what
- 4:38Speaker 1: else is also interesting? Just a point for you to
- 4:41Speaker 1: think about for just a second. Here in the states
- 4:48Speaker 1: that Kamala Harris won, do you know one of the
- 4:51Speaker 1: things they overwhelmingly had in common the states that she
- 4:54Speaker 1: won no voter ID law. You don't have to have
- 4:58Speaker 1: an ID to vote. Let me let me just I'm
- 5:01Speaker 1: gonna say that again. Go look at the electoral map
- 5:05Speaker 1: and look at the states where Kamala Harris won, and
- 5:11Speaker 1: then look at them up and see if they require
- 5:15Speaker 1: an ID to vote. Go look at that data. You
- 5:21Speaker 1: want to know why Democrats don't want voter ID because
- 5:24Speaker 1: the only states that they win consistently are places where
- 5:27Speaker 1: you don't have to show an ID. That's the reality
- 5:31Speaker 1: of this situation. Now, I want you to hear the
- 5:35Speaker 1: racist Chuck Schumer talking down to every minority in America
- 5:41Speaker 1: and saying that he's somehow defending them right like, oh,
- 5:45Speaker 1: he's he's he's straight up defending them and saying they
- 5:50Speaker 1: deserve the right to vote without an ID because we
- 5:53Speaker 1: can't expect a person with an ID, that is there
- 5:58Speaker 1: a black person or a Hispanic person to have an ID,
- 6:01Speaker 1: so therefore you can't expect them to actually vote. That
- 6:04Speaker 1: is now where we are with the Democratic Party. That
- 6:11Speaker 1: is how racist they are, and they actually in vote
- 6:13Speaker 1: racism and Jim Crow laws to make their point.
- 6:16Speaker 2: And the Constitution, and we are in the courts fighting
- 6:19Speaker 2: them every step of the way. We are also having
- 6:23Speaker 2: oversight hearings and investigations as to what is happening here.
- 6:28Speaker 2: Mark Warner yesterday did a great job questioning what the
- 6:31Speaker 2: hell is Telsey Gabbert doing here. She's the head of
- 6:34Speaker 2: d and I. She's for international intelligence, nothing to do
- 6:37Speaker 2: with local They're trying to intimidate local elected officials. And
- 6:41Speaker 2: another thing we are doing is working with the local
- 6:44Speaker 2: elected officials how to avoid this intimidation, how to do
- 6:48Speaker 2: their jobs. You know, we had millions, I guess hundreds
- 6:51Speaker 2: of thousands of local elected officials who are very proud
- 6:54Speaker 2: they go to the polling place and make the wheels
- 6:57Speaker 2: of democracy work every election. We're not going to let
- 6:59Speaker 2: them be intimidated. We're going to stand right by them.
- 7:03Speaker 3: So Leader Schumer, this talk about election security has revived
- 7:07Speaker 3: discussions of the Save Act, which you have said you oppose.
- 7:11Speaker 3: Proponents of it say that it's you know, to have idea,
- 7:14Speaker 3: have to prove us citizenship to be able to vote.
- 7:17Speaker 3: Though some of the claims they make, to be clear,
- 7:19Speaker 3: are overstated. We know there's not widespread election fraud, but
- 7:23Speaker 3: polling does suggest. There's a new Pew Research poll that
- 7:26Speaker 3: ninety five percent of Republicans but also seventy one percent
- 7:30Speaker 3: of Democrats like this idea. So why do you not?
- 7:36Speaker 2: It's Jim Crow to two point zero And I called
- 7:39Speaker 2: it Jim Crow two point zero, and the right wing
- 7:41Speaker 2: went nuts all over the internet. That's because they know
- 7:44Speaker 2: it's true. What they're trying to do here is the
- 7:47Speaker 2: same thing that was done in the South for decades
- 7:50Speaker 2: to prevent people of color from voting. For instance, if
- 7:54Speaker 2: you can't if you change you're a woman who got
- 7:56Speaker 2: married and changed your last name, you won't be able
- 7:59Speaker 2: to show ID and you'll be discriminated against. If you
- 8:01Speaker 2: can't find a birth certificate or a proper ID, you'll
- 8:05Speaker 2: be discriminated against. This is vicious and nasty, and I
- 8:08Speaker 2: said to our Republican colleagues, it will not pass the
- 8:11Speaker 2: Senate you will not get a single Democratic vote in
- 8:14Speaker 2: the Senate. We're not reviving Jim Crow all over the country.
- 8:18Speaker 2: And when the American people hear what is exactly it
- 8:20Speaker 2: is doing and what its intent is doing, they're going
- 8:23Speaker 2: to be against it as well.
- 8:25Speaker 1: By the way, when they say what their intent is,
- 8:28Speaker 1: what is the intent? The intent is to have a
- 8:30Speaker 1: free and fair election. Right Isn't that the intent here?
- 8:35Speaker 1: And that's the reason why the majority of Americans are
- 8:37Speaker 1: in favor of having to show an ID to vote,
- 8:41Speaker 1: because you don't want your vote being canceled out by
- 8:44Speaker 1: somebody else. CNN's own polling is showing this. In fact,
- 8:50Speaker 1: I want to play this for you. I put this
- 8:52Speaker 1: up on social media. You can see it. I've got
- 8:54Speaker 1: it up on ax Ben Ferguson's show, on Instagram, follow
- 8:57Speaker 1: me there, Ben Ferguson podcasts, and on Facebook. Put in
- 9:01Speaker 1: Ben Ferguson. I got the video up there so you
- 9:03Speaker 1: can share it. But listen to again. This is the
- 9:07Speaker 1: basic pulling data on showing an ID to vote in America.
- 9:12Speaker 4: Take a look here, favorite photo ID to vote. Eighty
- 9:15Speaker 4: five percent of white people favorite eighty two percent of
- 9:17Speaker 4: Latino seventy six percent of Black Americans favorite. So the
- 9:21Speaker 4: bottom line is this voter ID is not controversial in
- 9:25Speaker 4: this country. A photo ID to vote is not controversial
- 9:28Speaker 4: in this country. It is not controversial by party, and
- 9:31Speaker 4: it is not controversial by race. The vast majority of
- 9:33Speaker 4: Americans agree with NICKI Minaj that, in fact, you should
- 9:36Speaker 4: have a photo ID to be able to vote.
- 9:39Speaker 5: So something I mean not take.
- 9:40Speaker 1: I mean I mean this is this is like overwhelming
- 9:43Speaker 1: eighty five percent White, eighty two percent Latino, seventy six
- 9:48Speaker 1: percent Black favor photo ID two vote. So almost eight
- 9:54Speaker 1: out of ten African Americans say they want to have
- 9:56Speaker 1: an ID to vote because if you're going to go
- 9:58Speaker 1: take the ton to vote, you don't want your vote
- 10:01Speaker 1: to be canceled out by someone who's not supposed to
- 10:05Speaker 1: vote in the election, someone that's stealing someone else's vote
- 10:09Speaker 1: for example. That is something that you don't want to happen.
- 10:14Speaker 1: And that is exactly why this is a non political issue.
- 10:20Speaker 1: So I go back to Chuck Schumer, Chuck Schumer, why
- 10:24Speaker 1: are you so against counting only votes of people that
- 10:28Speaker 1: are that are who they say they are an election?
- 10:30Speaker 1: I'll go back to Chuck Schumer and ask another question Chuck,
- 10:33Speaker 1: do you believe to buy a gun your che have
- 10:34Speaker 1: to show an ID. Yes, of course I do. Then
- 10:36Speaker 1: why the hell wouldn't you show an ID to vote?
- 10:39Speaker 1: That's the question I want to ask Chuck Schumer. Does
- 10:41Speaker 1: he get asked that question? Well, listen to the first
- 10:43Speaker 1: question after his statement there on MS now as they
- 10:47Speaker 1: call it ill.
- 10:49Speaker 6: We'll debate that later, certainly about voter ID, but right now,
- 10:55Speaker 6: I want to stick with the issue at hand, and
- 11:00Speaker 6: that has to do with Ice.
- 11:03Speaker 1: That's it. That's Joe Scarborough for you. We'll debate voter
- 11:07Speaker 1: ID later. Why didn't he ask one follow up question
- 11:12Speaker 1: to Chuck Schumer after the egregious statement that he just made,
- 11:14Speaker 1: implying that every persons a minority is too stupid to
- 11:17Speaker 1: have an ID, too incompetent to have an ID, two
- 11:20Speaker 1: backwoods to have an ID. We'll debate that later. So
- 11:25Speaker 1: let's move on to Ice. Right, Let's get everybody to
- 11:28Speaker 1: hate on Ice. That was the that's the follow up question.
- 11:33Speaker 1: That's the best you've got. You can't even And the
- 11:37Speaker 1: reason why they moved on so quickly is because they've
- 11:39Speaker 1: seen the polling data that I've seen that almost eight
- 11:46Speaker 1: out of ten African Americans say I want to have
- 11:49Speaker 1: to show an ID to vote. More than eight out
- 11:53Speaker 1: of ten Latinos say the same thing. More than eight
- 11:57Speaker 1: out of ten Whites say the same thing. There is
- 12:00Speaker 1: universal agreement on this that this is not a partisan issue.
- 12:06Speaker 1: It isn't a political issue. It is a if you
- 12:09Speaker 1: don't have a free and fair election, then you don't
- 12:14Speaker 1: have a free country. That is not hard to understand.
- 12:21Speaker 1: And that's why so many Americans look at this and
- 12:23Speaker 1: they say it makes sense. That's why so many Americans say, Yeah,
- 12:29Speaker 1: I'm in favor of having to show my ID to
- 12:31Speaker 1: do everything. You show an ID to get governor aid,
- 12:34Speaker 1: you show an ID to get an airplane, You show
- 12:37Speaker 1: an ID to go into many government buildings, you show
- 12:39Speaker 1: an idea of hell. I had to go to the
- 12:41Speaker 1: Democratic Convention to cover it. Once you ready for this,
- 12:44Speaker 1: I had to show an ID to go to the
- 12:46Speaker 1: Democratic National Convention. You couldn't even go to the Democrats
- 12:52Speaker 1: Convention without showing an ID to then get your credential
- 12:57Speaker 1: to then allow you to go in so they could
- 12:59Speaker 1: verify that you were who you said that you were.
- 13:03Speaker 1: Think about that. Let me go back to a point.
- 13:07Speaker 1: I made a moment ago with Kamala Harris as well.
- 13:10Speaker 1: Harris won nineteen states plus DC in twenty twenty four.
- 13:14Speaker 1: The US has thirty six states with some form of
- 13:17Speaker 1: voter ID law. The rest verify identity via other means,
- 13:21Speaker 1: quote unquote. Now, Harris, the majority, overwhelming of states that
- 13:26Speaker 1: she won do not require ID to vote. Some of
- 13:30Speaker 1: them did, but the overwhelming majority did not. Now, if
- 13:36Speaker 1: you look at our peers, if you look at other
- 13:38Speaker 1: countries that are at a level that we're at, this
- 13:45Speaker 1: is not even up for debate. It's not even a conversation, y'all.
- 13:52Speaker 1: It's just a no brainer, right. I mean it when
- 13:56Speaker 1: I say it, it's like a non issue. You show
- 13:59Speaker 1: an idea to vote. The only reason why you would
- 14:03Speaker 1: be against voter ID is because you want to exploit
- 14:07Speaker 1: the system to cheat. That's it. You as a Democratic
- 14:13Speaker 1: party have figured out how to cheat. That's what it
- 14:18Speaker 1: really seems to be about. And it's really sad, okay,
- 14:24Speaker 1: but it's not shocking. It's not that surprising. It's just
- 14:31Speaker 1: become the reality. Eight seven seven three eight one thirty
- 14:36Speaker 1: eight eleven eight seven seven three eight one thirty eight eleven.
- 14:39Speaker 1: Let me also just read for you what Donald Trump
- 14:42Speaker 1: had to say on this, because I also think this
- 14:45Speaker 1: is a really good point, is that that Trump is
- 14:48Speaker 1: all in on this because he understands he has the
- 14:51Speaker 1: country behind him. That's important. Quote. America's elections are rigged, stolen,
- 14:57Speaker 1: and a laughing stock all over the world. We are
- 15:00Speaker 1: either going to fix them or we won't have a
- 15:02Speaker 1: country any longer. This is much the same logic that
- 15:05Speaker 1: if you don't have a border, then you're not a country, right,
- 15:06Speaker 1: You're no longer a country, You're no longer a nation
- 15:08Speaker 1: if you don't have a border. I am asking all
- 15:12Speaker 1: Republicans to fight for the following the Save America Act,
- 15:16Speaker 1: saying this, All voters must show voter ID identification number two.
- 15:21Speaker 1: All voters must show proof of the United States citizenship
- 15:24Speaker 1: to register to vote. Number three. No mail in ballots
- 15:28Speaker 1: except for illness, disability, military, or travel. What a great
- 15:35Speaker 1: novel idea show up on election day. By the way,
- 15:37Speaker 1: I think national election should be a holiday. CNN talking
- 15:42Speaker 1: about this to Democrat Representative Raskin on voter ID here
- 15:46Speaker 1: is in the Democratic Party. I mean, they're all in
- 15:48Speaker 1: on this, listen, Congressman.
- 15:51Speaker 7: Of course, the president's allies say that This is all
- 15:53Speaker 7: about the Save Act, which would require a voter ID,
- 15:58Speaker 7: although a fairly stringent form of it. Voter ID is
- 16:02Speaker 7: supported by the majority of Americans. But there are Democrats
- 16:06Speaker 7: on the Hill. You voted against this, why not support
- 16:11Speaker 7: voter ID?
- 16:12Speaker 8: Well, look, first of all, this is not a problem
- 16:15Speaker 8: that people are identifying or recognizing in the States. The
- 16:18Speaker 8: states and local governments are perfectly capable of identifying when
- 16:22Speaker 8: there are problems. This is obviously being cooked up by
- 16:25Speaker 8: Donald Trump to justify his persistent and the utterly bogus
- 16:31Speaker 8: claim that he won the twenty twenty election when Biden
- 16:34Speaker 8: beat him by more than seven million votes. But what's
- 16:37Speaker 8: wrong with the Save Act. What's wrong with it is
- 16:39Speaker 8: that it might violate the Nineteenth Amendment, which gives women
- 16:42Speaker 8: the right to vote, because you've got to show that
- 16:45Speaker 8: all of your different IDs match. So if you're a
- 16:49Speaker 8: woman who's gotten married and you've changed your name to
- 16:51Speaker 8: your husband's name, but so now your current name is
- 16:57Speaker 8: different from your name at birth, and now you've got
- 17:00Speaker 8: to go ahead and document that, you need an affidavit
- 17:03Speaker 8: explaining why and why would we go to all of
- 17:06Speaker 8: these the troubles in order to keep people from voting
- 17:11Speaker 8: when none of the states that are actually running the
- 17:14Speaker 8: elections are telling us that there's any problem.
- 17:17Speaker 1: I love Isaac's there's no problem. So you're just going
- 17:21Speaker 1: to say the American people, here's our middle finger, right,
- 17:24Speaker 1: I mean that's what you're saying. You go back to
- 17:28Speaker 1: Chuck Schumer. Chuck Schumer's again his own words. I don't
- 17:31Speaker 1: care about the American people what they think. We want
- 17:32Speaker 1: to cheat.
- 17:33Speaker 3: There's a new Pew Research poll that ninety five percent
- 17:36Speaker 3: of Republicans but also seventy one percent of Democrats like
- 17:40Speaker 3: this idea.
- 17:41Speaker 1: So why do you not?
- 17:44Speaker 2: It's Jim Crow to two point zero and I called
- 17:46Speaker 2: to Jim Crow two point zho and the right wing
- 17:49Speaker 2: went nuts all over the internet. That's because they know
- 17:52Speaker 2: it's true. What they're trying to do here is the
- 17:54Speaker 2: same thing that was done in the South for decades
- 17:57Speaker 2: to prevent people of color from voting.
- 18:00Speaker 1: It's it's incredible. Anytime that you get back to the corner,
- 18:05Speaker 1: you just scream racist, right, racism, just straight up racism.
- 18:11Speaker 1: Just yeah, everybody's racist. Everything's racist. Uh, you know it's
- 18:16Speaker 1: racist to show an ID. You can't expect a minority,
- 18:20Speaker 1: a black person to have an id that is the
- 18:22Speaker 1: definition of racism, right that is, and then and then
- 18:26Speaker 1: if you think that's not enough, they're also going on
- 18:28Speaker 1: this one.
- 18:29Speaker 9: Now.
- 18:29Speaker 1: Senator Mark Warner says he's now afraid of ice and
- 18:33Speaker 1: and voter suppression. Now listen, I.
- 18:36Speaker 9: Am we are all greatly afraid with these roving ice
- 18:39Speaker 9: bands that we see in Minneapolis and other cities. Could
- 18:42Speaker 9: those ice roving vans be used to try to go
- 18:45Speaker 9: and intimidate voters at the polling station. These are all
- 18:50Speaker 9: things that you know sounded maybe way out, are draconian
- 18:56Speaker 9: a year ago or a year and a half ago,
- 18:58Speaker 9: but they are at our front door right now.
- 19:02Speaker 1: I've heard no one say they're worried about ice agents
- 19:08Speaker 1: showing up at polling places. And by the way, if
- 19:12Speaker 1: you're an American citizen voting, why would you be worried
- 19:16Speaker 1: about ice showing up. You wouldn't be worried about ice
- 19:23Speaker 1: showing up. You would only be worried on election day
- 19:30Speaker 1: if ice shows up to a polling place. If you're
- 19:32Speaker 1: an illegal immigrant I'm assuming trying to vote in a
- 19:36Speaker 1: federal election illegally, like that's the only reason why you
- 19:42Speaker 1: would be afraid on election day at a polling place
- 19:47Speaker 1: of an ICE agent. I've never in my life been
- 19:49Speaker 1: afraid of an ICE agent. You know why, Because I'm
- 19:51Speaker 1: an American citizen. I know I belong here. I'm not
- 19:53Speaker 1: bringing the LA up. By the way, if I was
- 19:54Speaker 1: trying to vote in a foreign country on election day
- 19:57Speaker 1: and their equivalent of ICE was around, I'd probably be afraid.
- 20:02Speaker 1: I'd probably be pretty scared. But I'm not going to
- 20:06Speaker 1: be afraid of ICE agents. It's the same reason why
- 20:09Speaker 1: I'm not afraid of police officers. Right if I'm not
- 20:13Speaker 1: breaking the law or doing anything wrong, I don't have
- 20:16Speaker 1: to worry. It's really fun. If I get pulled over
- 20:20Speaker 1: and I'm speeding, by the way, I'm actually not worried.
- 20:23Speaker 1: You want know why, because I know how to interact
- 20:24Speaker 1: with police officers. I know how to show them respect.
- 20:27Speaker 1: I know how to make sure that the I de
- 20:29Speaker 1: escalate the situation. I know how to make sure that
- 20:31Speaker 1: I do nothing that makes them feel threatened. I've never
- 20:35Speaker 1: seen a police officer in my life and just because
- 20:39Speaker 1: they wear a badger because they're a police officer, have
- 20:42Speaker 1: I been afraid the way that Democrats talk about ICE
- 20:45Speaker 1: agents and law enforcement in general, and this, well, we're
- 20:48Speaker 1: real concerned that ICE agents are going to be intimidating
- 20:51Speaker 1: people at the voting booth. The only way that an
- 20:54Speaker 1: ICE agent is intimidating to you is if you are
- 20:57Speaker 1: breaking the law. And if you are breaking the law,
- 21:02Speaker 1: or you're in this country illegally, right, then I hope
- 21:07Speaker 1: that ICE agents make you very uncomfortable, extremely uncomfortable. That's
- 21:17Speaker 1: all I asked for is law and order. And again,
- 21:22Speaker 1: this isn't even a political statement. I cannot tell you
- 21:27Speaker 1: the last time that we saw polling data the way
- 21:30Speaker 1: that CNN described it that is so this overwhelming. I
- 21:35Speaker 1: don't know the last time that I saw polling data
- 21:40Speaker 1: that was this bipartisan. And the reason why this polling
- 21:46Speaker 1: data shows this type of bipartisanship is actually for one reason,
- 21:51Speaker 1: because it doesn't seem like a political issue at all, Like,
- 21:57Speaker 1: it doesn't seem like a political issue in any way
- 22:03Speaker 1: to the majority of Americans who are polled. Should my
- 22:07Speaker 1: vote be counted correctly? Yes? Should I make sure that
- 22:12Speaker 1: my vote isn't taken away from someone else or my
- 22:15Speaker 1: vote is taken away by someone else who votes legally? Yes.
- 22:18Speaker 1: Almost ninety percent of Americans support requiring a photo ID
- 22:21Speaker 1: to vote. So why did Democrats in Congress oppose vote
- 22:24Speaker 1: ID laws. It's only because they want to cheat convince
- 22:31Speaker 1: me otherwise. It is not racist to ask someone to
- 22:36Speaker 1: show an idea. It is racist to imply that only
- 22:39Speaker 1: minorities are the ones walking around that don't have voter
- 22:44Speaker 1: IDs to be able to vote. That is racist. One
- 22:48Speaker 1: eight seven seven three eight one thirty eight eleven one
- 22:51Speaker 1: eight seven, seven three eight one thirty eight eleven. I
- 22:54Speaker 1: want to get to some of your phone calls. Let
- 22:56Speaker 1: me go to line five in Florida. Glenn, Well, come,
- 23:00Speaker 1: you're on the Mark Levin Show, Ben Ferguson filling in
- 23:02Speaker 1: for the great One. How are you.
- 23:04Speaker 9: Good?
- 23:05Speaker 1: Good?
- 23:05Speaker 5: How are you argus? The first and foremost, I just
- 23:07Speaker 5: want to thank you for, you know, bringing out the truth.
- 23:10Speaker 10: Uh.
- 23:11Speaker 5: Very few people these days speak the truth. And I
- 23:14Speaker 5: appreciate everything that you do Mark Levin does. Uh, and
- 23:17Speaker 5: all my my brothers and sisters and that are are
- 23:21Speaker 5: good polititions. But listen, I wholly agree with you that
- 23:26Speaker 5: it's a common sense issue. And I think that you know,
- 23:30Speaker 5: the thing that frustrates me the most is the deceitfulness
- 23:33Speaker 5: of all the left wing activists, lunatic French people. You know,
- 23:39Speaker 5: I'm a Christian, and you know I was thought that,
- 23:42Speaker 5: you know, Shaytan is the father of all lies, and
- 23:45Speaker 5: I think the Democrats are taking his lead. I think,
- 23:48Speaker 5: you know, they have nothing but power.
- 23:54Speaker 1: You know, here's my thing, Glenn if if for the
- 23:56Speaker 1: Republicans have gotten kind of squishy on this, like where
- 23:59Speaker 1: they're not fighting for this, Like, what is wrong with you?
- 24:02Speaker 1: This is a slam dunk issue. This is not a
- 24:07Speaker 1: hard one, right, Like Democrats are in favor of ID
- 24:10Speaker 1: to get a gun. Why would you not be in
- 24:12Speaker 1: favor on this one? I mean really, why would you
- 24:17Speaker 1: not say yes to this one? The Save Act is
- 24:20Speaker 1: important to protect every American. Mike Johnson saying it this way,
- 24:25Speaker 1: The Speaker of the House and every other Republican better
- 24:27Speaker 1: get on board. Listen to Mike.
- 24:29Speaker 10: You are going to be fighting for the Save Act,
- 24:30Speaker 10: and I'll tell you why this is so important. We
- 24:32Speaker 10: passed it twice in the House and we will pass
- 24:35Speaker 10: it again. The Save Act just simply says you have
- 24:37Speaker 10: to have verification of citizenship to register to vote. That's
- 24:40Speaker 10: about a ninety ten issue on many of the polls
- 24:43Speaker 10: in this country, and we're going to enhance it by
- 24:46Speaker 10: what the President calls the Save America Act, and so
- 24:49Speaker 10: it would be proof of citizenship, register to vote, and
- 24:52Speaker 10: voter ID, which is also about an eighty or ninety
- 24:55Speaker 10: percent issue on the polling nationwide, depending on who you
- 24:59Speaker 10: talk to. The very important things to ensure that our
- 25:02Speaker 10: elections are free and fair and safe. And that's a
- 25:05Speaker 10: critical component of maintaining a constitutional republic.
- 25:08Speaker 1: So he's right, by the way, it is a very
- 25:12Speaker 1: critical point of keeping a nation together. Without it, what
- 25:16Speaker 1: are we right. It's a critical component of maintaining a
- 25:19Speaker 1: constitutional republic. And if you don't have it, then we're
- 25:24Speaker 1: all screwed. If we don't have free and fair elections,
- 25:29Speaker 1: what are we doing here? It's no different than if
- 25:32Speaker 1: you don't have borders, you don't have a country. I
- 25:34Speaker 1: want to give you another example of this with voter
- 25:36Speaker 1: ID laws. And I want you to hear what was said,
- 25:40Speaker 1: and this is coming from the White House.
- 25:42Speaker 7: Follow up on that, he said specifically that they should
- 25:44Speaker 7: take over elections in fifteen states.
- 25:46Speaker 6: Can you tell us what he meant by that? What
- 25:48Speaker 6: fifteen states he's referring to in terms of Republicans taking
- 25:51Speaker 6: over elections.
- 25:52Speaker 11: Again, what I was just telling you is that with
- 25:54Speaker 11: the passage of the Save Act, voter ide will be
- 25:57Speaker 11: implemented across all fifty states the present, and it was
- 26:00Speaker 11: referring to specific states in which we have seen a
- 26:02Speaker 11: high degree of fraud. If you look at states like California,
- 26:06Speaker 11: or if you look at New York City, for example,
- 26:08Speaker 11: non citizens are allowed to vote in elections in places
- 26:11Speaker 11: like California and New York City. That just creates a system,
- 26:15Speaker 11: an electoral system that is absolutely ripe with fraud. And
- 26:19Speaker 11: you cannot deny the fact that, unfortunately, there are millions
- 26:21Speaker 11: of people who have questions about that, as does the President.
- 26:25Speaker 11: He wants to make it right, and the Save Act
- 26:26Speaker 11: is a solution to doing it. Do you want to
- 26:28Speaker 11: line Daniel.
- 26:30Speaker 1: I love how they try to like freak out and
- 26:32Speaker 1: they're like, well, what about what about the president? She's like,
- 26:35Speaker 1: he's saying he wants her to be voter idea in
- 26:37Speaker 1: every state, Like this is not hard, this is this
- 26:41Speaker 1: is pretty easy, right, the passage of the Save Act,
- 26:44Speaker 1: voter idea will be implemented across all fifty states. That
- 26:48Speaker 1: is uniformity, That's what it is. Why would we not
- 26:53Speaker 1: want this I think American voters, by the way, are angry.
- 26:56Speaker 1: I think they're frustrated over this. I think this is
- 27:01Speaker 1: a where they're really frustrated that something this simple. And
- 27:06Speaker 1: let me give a warning, by the way, to Republicans,
- 27:10Speaker 1: you better get your act together on this. Okay, like
- 27:12Speaker 1: you better pay attention and get your act together on this.
- 27:19Speaker 1: Don't forget. Share this podcast wherever you can with your
- 27:21Speaker 1: family and your friends, and I'll see you back here tomorrow.
