- 0:09Speaker 1: don't have a suit on, looking back to back down,
- 0:12Speaker 1: giving them move like amazing buck bus things and it's
- 0:18Speaker 1: not me true good Steve Harten to move to other
- 0:26Speaker 1: stud Please, mommy, I don't join join me to be
- 0:52Speaker 1: doing me happy. You gotta turn you gotta turn to
- 1:41Speaker 1: turn them out. Got to turn out to the water,
- 1:47Speaker 1: the water. Come come on your back at it. Huh,
- 2:02Speaker 1: I sure will. Good morning everybody. You are listening to
- 2:06Speaker 1: the voice, Come on dig me now, one and only
- 2:08Speaker 1: Steve harbin Man got a radio show, Yeah, I do. Man.
- 2:16Speaker 1: God been so good to me over the years, in
- 2:19Speaker 1: spite of all the mistakes I've made, in spite of
- 2:22Speaker 1: all the dirt I've done to myself. I'm talking about
- 2:27Speaker 1: when in no one I was wrong, His grace and
- 2:31Speaker 1: mercy has forgiven me for all of my sins. God
- 2:37Speaker 1: can forgive you of all of your sins, everything you've done,
- 2:42Speaker 1: God can forgive you. He can wipe your slate clean. Now.
- 2:47Speaker 1: Might you might have some you know, things you got
- 2:50Speaker 1: to deal with because of some of your actions. Understand that.
- 2:53Speaker 1: But you can wipe your slates. You can wipe your
- 2:56Speaker 1: slate clean with God and start again. You can repent.
- 3:00Speaker 1: God has mercy and grace. You could be forgiven by God. Now,
- 3:04Speaker 1: people answer another story. Some people may never forgive you,
- 3:08Speaker 1: for you've heard them all, or maybe they're accusing you
- 3:11Speaker 1: of doing something else. But you know they may never
- 3:13Speaker 1: forgive you. But God, God is in the redemption business man.
- 3:18Speaker 1: God will forgive you for every sin you've ever committed.
- 3:23Speaker 1: But you gotta want forgiveness now. And then you got
- 3:25Speaker 1: to come correct because what you can't do is you
- 3:28Speaker 1: can't shoot him the crap. Now you can say that
- 3:31Speaker 1: conversation with him. You know, whatever you told your lawyer, whatever,
- 3:36Speaker 1: whatever you told the victims, whatever you told, whatever the
- 3:40Speaker 1: story is you got going if it ain't the truth,
- 3:44Speaker 1: you could say that with God, because please know, he know,
- 3:47Speaker 1: and he know your heart. He know of you're trying
- 3:50Speaker 1: to manipulate somebody just for the system. If you're trying
- 3:53Speaker 1: to say this just so you can get out, He
- 3:55Speaker 1: know all of that. So if you're planning on shucking
- 3:58Speaker 1: him and jiving him, save your breath before you wind
- 4:01Speaker 1: up digging yourself in a deeper hole. Just let me
- 4:04Speaker 1: give you that piece of advice because he ain't nothing
- 4:06Speaker 1: to play with. He's too great to be played with.
- 4:10Speaker 1: And so with that in mind, I want to share
- 4:12Speaker 1: some positive stuff with you to smartn man. I want
- 4:14Speaker 1: to say this now. I want to remind you not
- 4:17Speaker 1: to let your circumstance and your situations dictate your future
- 4:23Speaker 1: or your results. I'm gonna say this again. This is
- 4:27Speaker 1: important information. Man. Don't let your circumstance and situations dictate
- 4:34Speaker 1: your future or your results. Do you know that in
- 4:39Speaker 1: order to get a different future or some different results,
- 4:43Speaker 1: you control that entire situation. It is you. It is
- 4:47Speaker 1: your thoughts that control the entire situation. It is how
- 4:51Speaker 1: you look at the situation that will determine how the
- 4:55Speaker 1: situation is for you. See, the same situation can be
- 5:00Speaker 1: totally different for two different people because you can say
- 5:03Speaker 1: you look at the examples of history, just just look
- 5:05Speaker 1: look in your neighborhood. How can that? Was a book
- 5:08Speaker 1: that a guy wrote one time who had the name.
- 5:11Speaker 1: He had a name, and he did some research and
- 5:14Speaker 1: he found a guy that grew up at the same
- 5:16Speaker 1: age in the same neighborhood as him, with the exact
- 5:20Speaker 1: same name. He went on to become a corporate CEO.
- 5:25Speaker 1: The other man was an inmate, and they had the
- 5:31Speaker 1: same name, grew up in the same neighborhood. They were
- 5:35Speaker 1: both brothers, you know not, I'm just saying brothers men,
- 5:40Speaker 1: and they grew and they went to them. Because how
- 5:42Speaker 1: can two different, two people the same situation and the
- 5:46Speaker 1: results turn out so different. It is because of the
- 5:49Speaker 1: thought process of one was completely different from the thought
- 5:52Speaker 1: process of the other. You control it. You don't have
- 5:55Speaker 1: to let your circumstances and your situations dictate your future.
- 6:00Speaker 1: Are your results. Here's the way it works. This is
- 6:04Speaker 1: so you can understand this. Your mind. It's the controlling
- 6:08Speaker 1: factor of your thoughts. Your thoughts are the controlling factor
- 6:13Speaker 1: of your outcome. The Bible says a man is as
- 6:18Speaker 1: he thinketh. Please don't short play this scripture here, because
- 6:22Speaker 1: this one is the real deal. This is the basis
- 6:26Speaker 1: of every self improvement book you'll ever read. It's already
- 6:30Speaker 1: written in the Bible. The Bible has all the information
- 6:33Speaker 1: you need. But in case you need a little bit
- 6:35Speaker 1: of clarity in some simple modern day language, then they
- 6:38Speaker 1: have self improvement books. They are all based on Biblical scripture.
- 6:43Speaker 1: A man is as he thinketh. That's why Norman Vincent
- 6:46Speaker 1: Peale wrote the book The Power of Positive Thinking. That's
- 6:50Speaker 1: why a book came out called The Magic of Thinking Big.
- 6:54Speaker 1: That's why a book came out called Think and Grow
- 6:57Speaker 1: Rich by Napoleon Hell. That it all of you. All
- 7:00Speaker 1: these titles that I've read that have mattered in my
- 7:03Speaker 1: life the most, These three major books that I've read,
- 7:06Speaker 1: they all say one thing. Think thinking thoughts, because that's
- 7:10Speaker 1: what controls the outcome. Your brain works one of two ways.
- 7:18Speaker 1: It works positive or negative. It works good, which is
- 7:24Speaker 1: under the column of positive, or to work evil, which
- 7:28Speaker 1: is under the column of negative. It will have faith,
- 7:32Speaker 1: which is under the column of positive, or you will
- 7:35Speaker 1: operate in fear, which is in the column of negative.
- 7:39Speaker 1: That is the only way your mind works. Your mind
- 7:42Speaker 1: is a factory that's comprised of workers. Those workers are
- 7:48Speaker 1: controlled by two formings, forming positive and forming negative. But
- 7:53Speaker 1: guess what the CEO of the company, the head, man,
- 7:58Speaker 1: the boss is you. You come to work in the
- 8:02Speaker 1: morning and you say, man, today is a great day.
- 8:06Speaker 1: I'm going to take steps towards brightening my future. I'm
- 8:10Speaker 1: going to take another step into making that dream come
- 8:13Speaker 1: true that I've been thinking about. I'm gonna take another
- 8:16Speaker 1: step forward in the development and the changing of my
- 8:19Speaker 1: life in a positive, good direction. If you come to
- 8:23Speaker 1: work and say that every day as the CEO, the boss,
- 8:27Speaker 1: the formans can only obey you, so that what you
- 8:30Speaker 1: just said was a series of positive statements then forming
- 8:34Speaker 1: positive steps to the forefront. He said, I got your
- 8:37Speaker 1: boss right away. He turns around, he blows the whistle.
- 8:42Speaker 1: He alerts all the workers in the factory today as
- 8:45Speaker 1: a good day. Today, we will take steps towards our future.
- 8:48Speaker 1: Today we are putting ourselves on track to get a
- 8:51Speaker 1: little bit closer to making our dreams come true. Today
- 8:55Speaker 1: we will be assembling all the things we need to
- 8:58Speaker 1: make our dreams come true and our life better in
- 9:00Speaker 1: the right direction. Everybody break. The workers in the factory
- 9:05Speaker 1: turn around and manufacture thoughts to justify the orders given
- 9:11Speaker 1: by the boss, which is you. You You are the CEO
- 9:15Speaker 1: of your corporation. If you don't own nothing else, you
- 9:19Speaker 1: own everything that's going on between your two ears. You
- 9:23Speaker 1: are the CEO of that corporation. If that corporation is
- 9:26Speaker 1: a good one, it's because you set it up that way.
- 9:29Speaker 1: If your corporation is a bad one, it's because you
- 9:32Speaker 1: set it up that day. If you trying, if you
- 9:35Speaker 1: pushing towards your dreams, and you see the possibility of
- 9:38Speaker 1: things happening in your life is because you, as the CEO,
- 9:41Speaker 1: set it up that way. If you ain't got nothing popping,
- 9:44Speaker 1: if you just want to be a criminal taking stuff
- 9:46Speaker 1: from people, throwing your life out the window, you're gonna
- 9:48Speaker 1: be an inmate. You're gonna be sitting there there and
- 9:50Speaker 1: you're gonna be mad at everybody. You got nobody be
- 9:52Speaker 1: mad at. But shoot, you understand what I'm telling you
- 9:55Speaker 1: this morning? Huh? You're listening morning show. Ladies and gentlemen.
- 10:03Speaker 1: We are here today, gathered for the radio show. This
- 10:06Speaker 1: is not a game. This is a contest. Anybody can
- 10:11Speaker 1: win it. You can get your own blue ribbon. Step
- 10:15Speaker 1: right up, one, all for one, All ye who come?
- 10:18Speaker 1: You are blue ribbon candidates. Welcome to the Steve Harvey Contest.
- 10:25Speaker 1: What do you want a blue ribbon in today? That's
- 10:28Speaker 1: the question, Shirley, what do you think you can qualify
- 10:31Speaker 1: to get a blue ribbon in just the way I
- 10:34Speaker 1: do the show, the way I run the show? Carla,
- 10:37Speaker 1: what do you think you could get a blue ribbon
- 10:38Speaker 1: in the way I direct the show. Now, let's begin
- 10:43Speaker 1: the ignorance. Junior, what do you think you can get
- 10:47Speaker 1: a blue ribbon? I could get a blue ribbon in
- 10:49Speaker 1: animal sound? He see that? Let them begin, Jay, what
- 11:02Speaker 1: do you think you could get a blue ribbon in
- 11:05Speaker 1: ignorance from nowhere? When you don't think it's coming straight
- 11:08Speaker 1: ignorant ignorance out of nowhere? Nephew, Tommy, share with us
- 11:14Speaker 1: what you could get a blue ribbon in that you
- 11:18Speaker 1: have probably already had thousand the seriousness of stupidity. I
- 11:25Speaker 1: bring it to a whole nother lovel I just have
- 11:28Speaker 1: to say one thing, seriously, Junior, I take offense with
- 11:32Speaker 1: what you did, because on the show, I do animal noises.
- 11:37Speaker 1: I do animals, animal animal You can't change your answer.

- 12:16Speaker 1: not do a chimpanzee. He's good at that, man, She's
- 12:26Speaker 1: really good at that. Was Caesar? Who was that? Who
- 12:30Speaker 1: was that Sheley. Yeah, that was Shirley Man, that was
- 12:34Speaker 1: that was her best one. Watched her kills. Do a dog, Shirley, Okay, Shirley, Shirley,
- 12:49Speaker 1: do a sheep? Shey, Shelly, do a pikers just had
- 13:07Speaker 1: a spell. It don't sound like I don't know like

- 13:21Speaker 1: kangaroo sounds like. Show. We'll be back, mo. Shirley sounds
- 13:31Speaker 1: right all morning to talent and we didn't even know
- 13:36Speaker 1: she did animals sound Jule when we come back. You're
- 13:43Speaker 1: listening to morning show? Can you be friends with your ex?
- 13:49Speaker 1: And what does it take to be friends with you?
- 13:51Speaker 1: I don't give a damn what they do. I don't
- 13:53Speaker 1: give my no no, he said. Now, I've been court
- 14:02Speaker 1: wave too many times. Hell, my answer can't even be
- 14:06Speaker 1: said on the ass. All right, Junior, friends, we're not
- 14:10Speaker 1: gonna be friends? Okay, Junior? Can you be friends with
- 14:15Speaker 1: an act? I would like to have been? They just
- 14:18Speaker 1: don't want me. You keep leaving me. I still be there.
- 14:22Speaker 1: You're the sweetest guy ever. Yeah, but I still be there.
- 14:25Speaker 1: Quit acting like no one wants you. You're so sweet,

- 15:45Speaker 1: I've lost in every divorce, all of them, every land,
- 15:49Speaker 1: one of them. I got that back and more so
- 15:51Speaker 1: I'm cool now I'm cools. Yeah, we're cool. You know.
- 15:57Speaker 1: I ain't gonna go out of my way not to speak. Well,
- 16:00Speaker 1: that's that's not being a friend. I know, I know
- 16:07Speaker 1: one that you cool with. No, I'm cool with up. No,
- 16:12Speaker 1: you need a number about to throw excuse me what
- 16:15Speaker 1: I'm about? Number? You got caught out? Jay? I can
- 16:19Speaker 1: tell you this. I can tell you this. You need
- 16:21Speaker 1: to listen to this. The very first divorce, which had
- 16:26Speaker 1: was a long time ago, has not spoken to me
- 16:30Speaker 1: since then. Really, I'm talking about Mama, Dad, Dad? Did
- 16:36Speaker 1: you know not a word? Not a word? Have y'all
- 16:39Speaker 1: seen each other? Yeah? No, is that she saw you, Jay?
- 16:53Speaker 1: Because I know him, She saw him. She just missed.
- 17:00Speaker 1: He threw something out of him. Yeah, she had his
- 17:04Speaker 1: ass lined up. She just missed. I'm a nice guy.
- 17:10Speaker 1: I'm a very nice until you married me. Wow, that
- 17:16Speaker 1: is you in a nutshell? Is that the truth? Steve?
- 17:19Speaker 1: That sounds like the truth right there? Did you hear
- 17:22Speaker 1: what he said? But Jay is a nice guy all
- 17:25Speaker 1: the way around, He really is. He just you know
- 17:29Speaker 1: all it is. And I'm gonna tell you about my friend.
- 17:32Speaker 1: The only thing is he just doesn't He never developed
- 17:37Speaker 1: conflict resolution skills. He just walked out. He don't. He
- 17:42Speaker 1: don't the conflict resolution. He just looked at you and
- 17:47Speaker 1: you just keep talking crazy. He just look at you.
- 17:50Speaker 1: Wide and then one day, then one day he just
- 17:53Speaker 1: drive off. Yeah he doesn't come back. Steve ain't man
- 17:58Speaker 1: ain't I ain't I ain't he Hey, I don't even
- 18:01Speaker 1: do all that. Yeah, I don't like to argue, though,
- 18:04Speaker 1: I don't. All right, now, let's get to the name.
- 18:08Speaker 1: Your job long than I've ever been married. That's crazy,
- 18:12Speaker 1: all right, nephew, you're the newest to marry in the group.
- 18:17Speaker 1: Can you be friends with an ex if we're still
- 18:19Speaker 1: doing it? You know? I mean that makes sense right, No,
- 18:25Speaker 1: only to you. I think, I mean we should do it.
- 18:27Speaker 1: Then we might well still be friends if we're still
- 18:30Speaker 1: doing it. But if we're not, I think you're still involved.
- 18:33Speaker 1: That's not really the yea. Yeah, doing it involved is
- 18:36Speaker 1: not the same thing. Carlin, You're well, what else is
- 18:40Speaker 1: left after that? What are we doing it? We ain't
- 18:43Speaker 1: talking after you do it? That's wasn't next? So only
- 18:51Speaker 1: friends you have are friends with benefits? Karl? What's the
- 18:55Speaker 1: purpose of a friend? Wow? Wow? To do over? Yeah?
- 19:02Speaker 1: Sure you want me to do it? No? No, no,
- 19:04Speaker 1: I mean get your nephew stefe. No, he's saying, listen
- 19:11Speaker 1: to me. I listened to me. It's times when he
- 19:15Speaker 1: not my nephew. Would this be one of those times
- 19:19Speaker 1: I'm going, Oh, I know when to disown. It's times
- 19:24Speaker 1: where disowning him is just the best way to handle it,
- 19:27Speaker 1: you know. I look, when he says something so damn stupid,
- 19:31Speaker 1: why do I have to stop him? I'll do nothing
- 19:33Speaker 1: but be stopping him all damn day though. Okay, but
- 19:37Speaker 1: some of some of it you gotta go. I say
- 19:40Speaker 1: stuff that makes sense, it's just you don't want to
- 19:42Speaker 1: digest it. Well, the thing that's really got me is
- 19:47Speaker 1: that out of all of you guys, Jay is the
- 19:50Speaker 1: only one that can remain friends with his axe, the
- 19:54Speaker 1: bitter man of the bunch. That is crazy. And it's
- 19:57Speaker 1: only one Shirley, And I know exactly. I could say
- 20:01Speaker 1: her name right now, could I? Ja? Jacob? Same? Okay?
- 20:07Speaker 1: That that is if I say the wrong name, You're
- 20:12Speaker 1: not No, you're not. Wow? How many ext we don't
- 20:20Speaker 1: need to tell about it? Okay, marry lot up, Junior?
- 20:30Speaker 1: What well you went all the way back there? All right?
- 20:36Speaker 1: Coming up? More of the Steve Harvey Morning Show, so
- 20:39Speaker 1: journey right after then, Yeah, you're listening show right now.
- 20:49Speaker 1: It's time for the nephew to run that prank back ned.
- 20:53Speaker 1: Let's run it back to all you all you praise
- 20:56Speaker 1: dancers out there. This goes out to all of you all. Pray. Yeah, yeah,
- 21:00Speaker 1: upset some people on this one. Yeah. Did that run
- 21:04Speaker 1: go out on the radio? Yes? Yes, yes? Do you
- 21:09Speaker 1: guys do what I like? Praise dance? That ain't for me?
- 21:14Speaker 1: Pray We'll talk about the minute praise dance for y'all. Hello,
- 21:18Speaker 1: this is the day that the Lord is May let
- 21:19Speaker 1: us rejoice and be glad in And how you doing?
- 21:21Speaker 1: I'm looking for uh Stania? This is Sitania, Satia. This
- 21:26Speaker 1: is brother Fuller from the church. How are you? Oh,
- 21:29Speaker 1: I'm brother, How are you? I'm good? I'm good. Um.
- 21:33Speaker 1: We wanted to give you a call about the about
- 21:35Speaker 1: the praise dancing that's at the church. First of all,
- 21:37Speaker 1: I wanted to really show you how much uh you're
- 21:39Speaker 1: doing a great job over there with the praise dances
- 21:42Speaker 1: and you you definitely do a great job on uh
- 21:44Speaker 1: on on on every third Tunday that you guys actually perform.
- 21:47Speaker 1: Everybody seemed to really like it. Well, thank you, thank you.
- 21:50Speaker 1: What can I do for you today? There is a
- 21:52Speaker 1: bit of a situation with um, you know, it's been
- 21:55Speaker 1: brought to our attention. We actually had a small gathering,
- 21:57Speaker 1: a little meeting about it and wanted to I've been
- 22:00Speaker 1: elected to actually give you a pall and who is
- 22:02Speaker 1: this again? I'm sorry, who are you again? Brother full
- 22:05Speaker 1: of uh huh and and and who had a meeting
- 22:10Speaker 1: uh some of the brothers at the church and uh
- 22:12Speaker 1: path to actually set in for a moment on it.
- 22:14Speaker 1: And I was actually elected to actually just give you
- 22:17Speaker 1: a call that nothing that I don't think we can't
- 22:20Speaker 1: get uh rectified and you know, move on slowly as
- 22:24Speaker 1: we normally do. But I just think it's we wanted
- 22:26Speaker 1: to reach out to you and kind of make you
- 22:28Speaker 1: aware of it. If it's if you don't mind, okay, um?
- 22:32Speaker 1: And what things are those? Well? Since a Tania has
- 22:36Speaker 1: any of the praise dancers before they became praise dancers?
- 22:41Speaker 1: Was was was any of them strippers? I beg your partner,
- 22:47Speaker 1: Was any of the praise dancers that at the church
- 22:51Speaker 1: that you have on the praise team right now? Was
- 22:54Speaker 1: any of them strippers in the past? I'm sorry, sir,
- 22:57Speaker 1: I don't I don't really know who you are, and
- 23:00Speaker 1: I don't really understand this line of question. Like I said,
- 23:02Speaker 1: I'm brother Fuller. I don't think we've met, but uh,
- 23:05Speaker 1: like I said, I've been electing to give you a
- 23:07Speaker 1: call it seeing what happened is this past week when
- 23:10Speaker 1: you all actually danced, it seemed like a couple of
- 23:13Speaker 1: the girls was actually gyrating during the phrase routine. Hey
- 23:18Speaker 1: what jat raiding? Brother Fuller. I don't know who you are,
- 23:22Speaker 1: and I don't know what you saw. None of my
- 23:24Speaker 1: girls with j rating. They would dancing for the Lord.
- 23:28Speaker 1: And I think if you look through your lord's eye,
- 23:30Speaker 1: perhaps you would see them better instead of maybe you
- 23:32Speaker 1: were looking through the jar raiding eye. Look, some of
- 23:36Speaker 1: these girls are a couple of the girls. We can
- 23:38Speaker 1: poll them out a couple of them. How uh strip
- 23:41Speaker 1: girl tendencies of it? Then? Because some of them has
- 23:43Speaker 1: been strip girls tendencies? You know what, sir? I think
- 23:48Speaker 1: we need to complete this call. Perhaps I need to
- 23:51Speaker 1: call Bish up and speak to him myself, because you know,
- 23:53Speaker 1: I don't know what you do all days, but I
- 23:55Speaker 1: have a real job and I'm sitting here holding the
- 23:56Speaker 1: conversation in my office about jar rating strippers in the church.
- 24:00Speaker 1: Are you kidding me, ma'am? Listen, listen now, here's a
- 24:03Speaker 1: couple other things that they're talking about. Some of the
- 24:06Speaker 1: girls feet a real ass you when you all a
- 24:09Speaker 1: performing and they want to see it, maybe you can,
- 24:11Speaker 1: you can, I don't know. Maybe I don't know if
- 24:13Speaker 1: y'all need to grip or whatever that y'all don't. Y'all
- 24:16Speaker 1: don't put lotion on. We're not sure what that is.
- 24:19Speaker 1: As well as the totally alpile. Everybody has three, four,
- 24:23Speaker 1: five different designs and everything is it? Any way, y'all
- 24:26Speaker 1: can be in unison with you're totally polis. But the
- 24:29Speaker 1: most important thing ill to Ji Raden doing the Dan's routine.
- 24:34Speaker 1: I don't know what your feet look like. I don't
- 24:36Speaker 1: need you calling me talking to me about my girls
- 24:38Speaker 1: their feet, their nail polis. Perhaps your man should be
- 24:41Speaker 1: on Jesus instead of them, how about that man from time?
- 24:47Speaker 1: I don't have time, mamma, and to be on Jesus
- 24:50Speaker 1: when somebody shaking them. But at the church, now that's
- 24:53Speaker 1: the problem. I know what. Look, I'm at work now,
- 24:55Speaker 1: I'm trying to keep a work tone. You're gonna make
- 24:58Speaker 1: me curse up here, and now let me tell you something.
- 25:00Speaker 1: Don't call me anymore. I will deal with pastor. If
- 25:03Speaker 1: he has something to say with me, he can say
- 25:04Speaker 1: it to me personally. But I'm done with this conversation.
- 25:06Speaker 1: Are you gonna deal with the jy rating? Is what
- 25:09Speaker 1: we want to know? Maybe you know what? It just
- 25:12Speaker 1: hit me. Maybe you're one of the ones that's doing
- 25:14Speaker 1: the GI rate. Look, let me tell you something. My
- 25:17Speaker 1: girls ain't doing no damn jar rating, and neither am I.
- 25:19Speaker 1: Now I am done with this conversation. Do you understand?
- 25:22Speaker 1: But listen, I'm done? Are you done with the rating?
- 25:24Speaker 1: That's because we want to stop so we can we
- 25:27Speaker 1: can't praise the Lord if the booty isn't shake you
- 25:30Speaker 1: know what, I gotta go to work now again. I
- 25:33Speaker 1: don't know what your issue is. It sounds to me
- 25:34Speaker 1: like you have an issue which I reading booties And
- 25:37Speaker 1: I heard so much gy reading booties in one conversation
- 25:39Speaker 1: in my entire life. Now my mind is set on Jesus.
- 25:42Speaker 1: I don't know what your mind is set on. What's
- 25:44Speaker 1: to tell you? Before you was a praise then a
- 25:47Speaker 1: ministry over the ministry? Did you ll use to strip? Yeah?
- 25:51Speaker 1: I didn't do no stripping? Now did you? Why do
- 25:53Speaker 1: any stripping? What did you what I'm gonna do any
- 25:55Speaker 1: stripping whatever. Do you hear what I said? How do
- 25:59Speaker 1: you like doing? Somebody? You would ask you if your
- 26:00Speaker 1: mama get some script? And how do you like that? Oh?
- 26:03Speaker 1: I'm saying, you know what? I want to know? When
- 26:04Speaker 1: is the next rehearsal. That the way I can come
- 26:07Speaker 1: and pick out of who it is that's doing this. Jill,
- 26:09Speaker 1: you don't have you don't have any visages at my rehearsal.
- 26:11Speaker 1: I don't want to see you at my rehearsal. I
- 26:13Speaker 1: don't want to. I don't want to see any part
- 26:15Speaker 1: for you in my rehearse if I see you near
- 26:16Speaker 1: one of my girls. That's why I'm coming up for
- 26:18Speaker 1: you myself. Do you understand me? I need to find
- 26:19Speaker 1: out who's doing that job? Damn thing? You need to say?
- 26:23Speaker 1: Your body in y'r own high and I'm glad y'all
- 26:25Speaker 1: ain't this? And when the when the when the plate
- 26:27Speaker 1: is being paid? Because I ain't not telling her you
- 26:29Speaker 1: act with them? One's coming through it, you know what.
- 26:31Speaker 1: That's it. That's it. You call me disrespecting me. I'm
- 26:34Speaker 1: at work. They can't even have this to more? You
- 26:36Speaker 1: know what, don't call me no more? Don't look at
- 26:38Speaker 1: my girls no more. Man come to the church and
- 26:40Speaker 1: see what I got for it. I don't want to know.
- 26:42Speaker 1: Is you're gonna stop the job rating is doing. Don't
- 26:47Speaker 1: do it? Damn thing who they do talking to like that?
- 26:49Speaker 1: You're supposed to be a minute of stop your side. Yeah,
- 26:52Speaker 1: let's have done listening to tell you now, I'm getting
- 26:55Speaker 1: ready to job. When I got one more thing to
- 26:57Speaker 1: say to you, fold your lead. Now you ain't got
- 26:58Speaker 1: a damn thing to say to me. I feel I
- 27:00Speaker 1: was then, and I said, I got one more thing
- 27:01Speaker 1: to say? Is you listen? You know what? Men? Get
- 27:03Speaker 1: off my phone. I'm gonna say it anyway. This is
- 27:06Speaker 1: Nephew Timment from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Your entire
- 27:11Speaker 1: praise and ministry congregation. All your girls got me the
- 27:15Speaker 1: frank phone called you. Oh I'm a shoot for real.
- 27:21Speaker 1: Oh I think I'm chursing on the radio. Oh oh,
- 27:27Speaker 1: which is why I was. You know what it was
- 27:30Speaker 1: all of them. I talked five of us. Now I
- 27:33Speaker 1: got some explaining this show. Lord ha Mercy, you did
- 27:37Speaker 1: good though you did really hung in there. Oh wait,
- 27:40Speaker 1: I talked to bishop. You might want to Oh. I
- 27:45Speaker 1: think I'm gonna have a show. I got one thing
- 27:48Speaker 1: to ask you. Tell you what it is, the baddest
- 27:50Speaker 1: radio show in the land, nobody else but the Steve
- 27:54Speaker 1: Harvey More on the show s Huh, you don't, I
- 27:58Speaker 1: mean when you're listening to my praise dancer. Yeah, you
- 28:02Speaker 1: don't think get some people up there? Don't need to
- 28:04Speaker 1: be up there. Absolutely, that's not for me to say.
- 28:07Speaker 1: I'm just judging church and church a praise dance limit.
- 28:13Speaker 1: What do you agree with timing? Which I seldom do,
- 28:17Speaker 1: But we have got to limit the time that praise
- 28:21Speaker 1: dancers can be up down. It's never moved me. That's
- 28:26Speaker 1: never made me want to join. It ain't never made
- 28:29Speaker 1: me want to do better. It always has made me
- 28:32Speaker 1: want to go home. Really, I want this service overWe
- 28:37Speaker 1: I want y'all stop all that waving. Can I tell
- 28:40Speaker 1: you the real thing. It ain't like synchrona swimming swims,
- 28:47Speaker 1: be key. I don't like watching people ain't all at
- 28:52Speaker 1: the same time. What what Tommy? If you're missing your
- 28:56Speaker 1: big toe praise dancer ain't fun. Don't equally you got
- 29:00Speaker 1: to look barefooted? Go you're listening to show. Carla found
- 29:13Speaker 1: this great article on hiring your relatives, your family members. Yeah,
- 29:18Speaker 1: we're all on team Tommy for the most part of
- 29:22Speaker 1: Jay is president and CEO by Yeah, but here's some
- 29:26Speaker 1: information from the article. Here the pros, Steve, Okay, for
- 29:30Speaker 1: hiring your relatives, you already know what you're getting. You
- 29:34Speaker 1: already know. You don't have to guess. You don't even
- 29:36Speaker 1: think about it, you know, because this is a member
- 29:38Speaker 1: of your family, so you know this person. Here's some
- 29:40Speaker 1: of the cons though, it sends the wrong signal to
- 29:43Speaker 1: other employees, you know, like they're not qualified for the job.
- 29:47Speaker 1: They just got the job because he was your Huh
- 29:51Speaker 1: that's true. Uh huh uh. Here's another con. A relative
- 29:54Speaker 1: may feel the rules don't apply to in this case him.
- 29:58Speaker 1: That's so true. He just missed two days. Yeah, but
- 30:03Speaker 1: he didn't get paid though. Oh okay, that's where the
- 30:07Speaker 1: stain gonna come out. All him shows he's gonna need it.
- 30:14Speaker 1: He's gonna need it, alright, so he working to conversate
- 30:18Speaker 1: for his chick. There's another con Steve, Well, you don't
- 30:22Speaker 1: necessarily do this, but other CEOs might not hire relatives
- 30:26Speaker 1: because the con is you hold back from criticism or
- 30:30Speaker 1: you don't discipline him. So in this case, you did.
- 30:33Speaker 1: You did doc him his pay, right, man? I wishall would.
- 30:38Speaker 1: I'm gonna not criticize him. What is we talking? If
- 30:42Speaker 1: we're not doing criticism? Why are we talking? But but
- 30:45Speaker 1: you hired him, though, Steve, that was not by choice?
- 30:49Speaker 1: You what do you mean, my sister? Oh, the only
- 30:54Speaker 1: reason I ain't fired him is causing health. Well, I
- 30:56Speaker 1: wasn't a good hide though. You don't think he does
- 30:59Speaker 1: good work, Steve. You don't think I was a good
- 31:01Speaker 1: hire boy. If I could replay for days, you missed
- 31:08Speaker 1: the times you called in from day one though, I
- 31:12Speaker 1: can't even tell you. Yeah, you guys weren't even here
- 31:16Speaker 1: on day one when Tommy used to call him from
- 31:18Speaker 1: his bed at least twice a week, asking if he
- 31:22Speaker 1: had to come in. I was trying to get used
- 31:25Speaker 1: to the system. That's awkward, but we were all here.
- 31:29Speaker 1: What else you got? That's about it. The article goes
- 31:32Speaker 1: on to say that issues with family members who come
- 31:35Speaker 1: up I don't even want to stay. Yeah, just wait,
- 31:42Speaker 1: I gotta brace brace yourself. The article goes on to say,
- 31:47Speaker 1: issues with family members who come up short. You couldn't
- 31:59Speaker 1: let that go, asked me? He asked me it's his show. President, wrong,
- 32:04Speaker 1: they come up? It said, issues with family members? Come look, okay,
- 32:18Speaker 1: good job around here? Come up short of the job.
- 32:23Speaker 1: They must have interview should be addressed just as they
- 32:30Speaker 1: would any other else who would have been the shortest
- 32:35Speaker 1: one on the shop. That's right there. I didn't have
- 32:44Speaker 1: to try to read one more time. I read it again.
- 32:56Speaker 1: What don't you say, President and CEO of team Timmy
- 32:59Speaker 1: need to hit it in? Yeah? But why she got
- 33:03Speaker 1: water come out of think? Steve? Did you not ask
- 33:06Speaker 1: me to read this again? I didn't know. I didn't
- 33:08Speaker 1: know what it was you do, but you could not.
- 33:10Speaker 1: You gonna let it go? Okay? I was gonna of no, Junior,
- 33:17Speaker 1: I don't think I should. We've already heard it, Shirley.
- 33:21Speaker 1: I bet you a thousand dollars. You can't read it
- 33:24Speaker 1: without laughing? Ready said, okay? Thousand dollars, one thousand, Okay.
- 33:31Speaker 1: The article goes on to say, issues with family members,
- 33:39Speaker 1: come on, I can do it. I can do it.
- 33:41Speaker 1: Come on, thousand dollars. Issues with family members? Bathe come on,
- 33:51Speaker 1: issues with get out with examily, even the devil. That's all,
- 34:08Speaker 1: that's all it is. That is so cute. You can't
- 34:18Speaker 1: get it. Don't worry about it one more time, two thousand. Okay,
- 34:24Speaker 1: I can do it, I can Okay. The article goes
- 34:28Speaker 1: on to say that issues with family members, who oh come,
- 34:45Speaker 1: it ain't all pretty good. The job, job, take this tissue.
- 34:57Speaker 1: I come up short at the moment. Have you ever
- 35:00Speaker 1: seen anybody go to the amusement park and that stick
- 35:03Speaker 1: means so much? Yeah, I've cried. You haven't seen somebody
- 35:12Speaker 1: get on amusement ride They shut the safety bar down
- 35:15Speaker 1: and he stepped right out. You haven't seen somebody come
- 35:19Speaker 1: round at first? Heel on that roller coaster and everybody
- 35:24Speaker 1: on the train gotta grab him. Yeah, yeah, In other words,
- 35:31Speaker 1: and yeah, welcome back to me. Oh dog, you should
- 35:35Speaker 1: have seen what was happening. Why you was gone captain
- 35:38Speaker 1: a teen Tommy with Jack Yeah, the president. So in
- 35:41Speaker 1: other words, Steve, they're saying that it might be the
- 35:43Speaker 1: worst decision you can make to hire a relic. It
- 35:46Speaker 1: ain't no doubt about it from me. All right, we'll
- 35:49Speaker 1: be back with more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show
- 35:52Speaker 1: right after you're listening Steve Show. Well, guys, forty three
- 35:59Speaker 1: million people we'll be traveling over this weekend Now, if
- 36:03Speaker 1: you believe this new survey, Yeah, that's a lot of people.
- 36:05Speaker 1: If you believe this new survey, the average American traveler
- 36:09Speaker 1: hates going to the airport so much that they'd add
- 36:13Speaker 1: six and a half hours to their travel time if
- 36:16Speaker 1: it meant they could drive and take road trips to
- 36:19Speaker 1: their location instead. Wow. Wow, Well, you know, it is
- 36:23Speaker 1: a more enjoyable experience to drive for a lot of people,
- 36:27Speaker 1: because look, I used to take buses. I'm talking about
- 36:30Speaker 1: who we were touring. Oh yeah, Like for example, if
- 36:35Speaker 1: I was going you know, okay, okay, all of us
- 36:37Speaker 1: lived in Atlanta for a period, right, Like if I
- 36:40Speaker 1: was going to Birmingham to perform, I'm not going to
- 36:42Speaker 1: get a plane. Or if I'm going to Orlando or
- 36:45Speaker 1: I'm going South Carolina, I'm going somewhere like that, I'm
- 36:50Speaker 1: getting a bus man. Because if you gotta leave in
- 36:54Speaker 1: plenty of time, you gotta pack, you gotta get dressed,
- 36:58Speaker 1: you gotta get in the car. Got to get to
- 37:00Speaker 1: the airport at least I on the half before, and
- 37:03Speaker 1: you got to sit there and wait. Then you got
- 37:04Speaker 1: a board, then you fly. Then when you land, you
- 37:08Speaker 1: got to go to the baggage claim get your bag.
- 37:11Speaker 1: Then you gotta travel to the hotel. But then you
- 37:14Speaker 1: could have been when you was called. That's you need
- 37:16Speaker 1: to stop, Steve, because when you get your bag, that's
- 37:18Speaker 1: a two hour wait. That's longer than the flight. Oh man,
- 37:22Speaker 1: I'm trying to tell you, oh my car baggage claim
- 37:25Speaker 1: I have steward there. I don't know who working back there. Man,
- 37:28Speaker 1: I know, but when I saw you don't. Yeah, you're right, Steve.
- 37:38Speaker 1: All that time when you yeah, all that when you
- 37:41Speaker 1: think about it, Yeah, you can get on the road,
- 37:43Speaker 1: put your luggage in the trunk and be there and
- 37:45Speaker 1: you just get to spend time in a couple of hours,
- 37:47Speaker 1: spend time more relaxing. Yeah, I don't want to spend
- 37:50Speaker 1: no time with nobody. Um, we took the bus when
- 37:54Speaker 1: we went to open it from Atlanta, we had to
- 37:55Speaker 1: show down there. Yeah, all it was on there you was.
- 37:59Speaker 1: We was having what I thought he was maybe just you.
- 38:05Speaker 1: I'm glad he didn't changed again, then let's go on college.
- 38:11Speaker 1: He ain't been in no damn baggage claiming a long time. No,
- 38:14Speaker 1: damn your bed come right off the back of your planet.
- 38:18Speaker 1: You know what you're talking about. He stood in no baggage.
- 38:21Speaker 1: What's this frustration? I ain't got no frustration. Roll out there,
- 38:26Speaker 1: up to his plane, get out, walk up them stuff.
- 38:28Speaker 1: You get all his plane. Oh, ain't nobody tending to
- 38:31Speaker 1: get off the damn phone or nothing. He talking all
- 38:33Speaker 1: the way through the flight taking off. Guy, ain't no
- 38:37Speaker 1: seat belt on and nothing, just sitting down and sitting
- 38:40Speaker 1: there putting out there. We're gonna say, what kind of
- 38:42Speaker 1: sing all I got? Now? Look, God is blessing. But
- 38:47Speaker 1: once it get I ain't mad at he ain't mad
- 38:50Speaker 1: at him. Damn show sound and he get all the
- 38:55Speaker 1: come all he got. Yeah. At seventy three percent of Americans,
- 38:59Speaker 1: Steve agree you. They consider road tripping a more pleasant
- 39:02Speaker 1: experience than flying. You gotta take your shoes off, you
- 39:05Speaker 1: gotta undress, you got it? Oh my god, that nicke
- 39:10Speaker 1: and just going on, coming up some more music and
- 39:13Speaker 1: more fun on the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening
- 39:16Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show today. It's gonna be
- 39:20Speaker 1: with Tommy and Junior. And I think you guys that
- 39:22Speaker 1: have entitled this things you wish you still had. Yeah,
- 39:26Speaker 1: I'm the YBC. What's the why see the young boys
- 39:32Speaker 1: a comedy. Why the building they are YBC with things
- 39:40Speaker 1: you wish you still had, Junior said, tom Boy. If
- 39:45Speaker 1: I still had a page, you hit me on my
- 39:49Speaker 1: hip today, I'd be bawling up in here, but I can't.
- 39:52Speaker 1: I just wish I still had a page. I ain't
- 39:54Speaker 1: gonna lie. Yeah, put you put your yeah, your cell
- 39:58Speaker 1: phones getting people get messed. Yeah, yes, yeah, you want
- 40:01Speaker 1: something now, Well you ain't got to worry about all
- 40:04Speaker 1: that you know, all that call and all that you
- 40:05Speaker 1: want about to hit you on the hip. I'll call
- 40:07Speaker 1: you when I get ready. Oh yeah, yeah, all right.
- 40:09Speaker 1: I just had a pain when you put your cold
- 40:11Speaker 1: in when I used to see sixth in that number
- 40:14Speaker 1: I got about. I just want stuff. I'm more affable
- 40:17Speaker 1: about right stuff that you know now I'm I'm doing stuff. Well,
- 40:20Speaker 1: it's a little stress and everything, making a little more
- 40:23Speaker 1: money and everything. But lord, I still wish I had
- 40:25Speaker 1: a car took regular gas. I'll be honest with I
- 40:30Speaker 1: wasn't ready for Supreme all the time that ninety three plus.
- 40:36Speaker 1: I just had a call that just took regular you know,
- 40:38Speaker 1: if I get back down the one eighty nine A
- 40:41Speaker 1: gay when I when I bought my truck. They didn't
- 40:46Speaker 1: tell me it had to be all the time. If
- 40:49Speaker 1: I could just get back to that thing you still have,
- 40:53Speaker 1: that wish you still had. If I could just popping
- 40:57Speaker 1: in a VHS tape. Boy, you hear me, pop it
- 41:00Speaker 1: in the greatest movies of all time, right there. VHS
- 41:06Speaker 1: to me, that's better than DVD. That's when you go
- 41:09Speaker 1: back when a moving meant something. When you went to blockbusting,
- 41:12Speaker 1: picked up your tape, pop it in, and then you
- 41:15Speaker 1: had to get it back the next day. You got
- 41:18Speaker 1: two days. I was always late with that team always.
- 41:22Speaker 1: I actually bought Mota. I had Pandora stole this idea
- 41:27Speaker 1: from Pandora already stole this after. I really do wish
- 41:31Speaker 1: I had a tape record, but I could just take
- 41:34Speaker 1: my song. Don't have to hit the commercial. Pandora come
- 41:38Speaker 1: in after every second song. They got something they want
- 41:40Speaker 1: to see. Man, just play this the ten songs for
- 41:43Speaker 1: raw I want to hear. Yes, I don't have time.
- 41:45Speaker 1: I'm not interested in socks, shirts, shot pass belts. I
- 41:50Speaker 1: don't want to. I just want to get the Joda
- 41:52Speaker 1: system fading. After that, I want to get to some Luther.
- 41:56Speaker 1: I don't really think you had a tape record your
- 41:58Speaker 1: pols it. Let them get that at the dead play.
- 42:01Speaker 1: That's all I want to get back to me. I
- 42:03Speaker 1: don't have it. I'll never have it again. But if

- 42:50Speaker 1: seen it. I ain't showed you out a video. You
- 42:52Speaker 1: gotta you gotta see it. It's unbelievable. It's gonna believe it. Unbeweavable.
- 42:57Speaker 1: It really is. It is so things we wish uh
- 43:01Speaker 1: that we still had got Junior, I'll tell you with
- 43:03Speaker 1: that thing I wish I still hate, ain't got no.
- 43:06Speaker 1: I wish I had a woman who didn't want so much.

- 44:12Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Morning Show. All right, nephew, what you
- 44:16Speaker 1: got time for the frank phone call? Shirley, It's time
- 44:19Speaker 1: to baptize some people. It's called mobile baptismal pool mobile baptism.
- 44:27Speaker 1: We come to you, and you know you could be ignorant.
- 44:33Speaker 1: You don't come to your house and baptize. That's what
- 44:36Speaker 1: we do. Hit it. Hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach
- 44:40Speaker 1: a mister Wilson. How are you doing? My name is
- 44:45Speaker 1: brother Springwater Man. Listen. We uh we we got paid
- 44:49Speaker 1: to actually come by and do some services to you
- 44:52Speaker 1: for for you by some friends of yours, and we
- 44:55Speaker 1: wanted to actually call and see about scheduling and see
- 44:57Speaker 1: what you had available, uh, some some services. Well, y'all
- 45:02Speaker 1: playing on Clenson grad which I do? What kind of
- 45:06Speaker 1: services your head? Actually, sir, You've got some friends that
- 45:09Speaker 1: have actually spent a great amount of money on you.
- 45:12Speaker 1: And what we do is, um, we have a baptismal
- 45:16Speaker 1: own wheels servant. And what we do is we go
- 45:19Speaker 1: and we um we baptize people at their home, and
- 45:23Speaker 1: baptismal on wheels has been it's a new um company,
- 45:27Speaker 1: but we've we've baptized over a thousand people. Now we
- 45:30Speaker 1: have a truck with it which actually has a baptismal
- 45:33Speaker 1: pool on the back of it, and we actually come
- 45:35Speaker 1: to your home and we will baptize you in your
- 45:38Speaker 1: driveway and and make you hold again. So we hostess
- 45:44Speaker 1: here brother water. Brother again, I'm sorry, I ain't fringwater springwater.
- 45:49Speaker 1: What you want to come to my house and give
- 45:50Speaker 1: me a baptism in my front yard. We want to
- 45:53Speaker 1: baptize you right there in your drive where your friends
- 45:55Speaker 1: are paid for the services. And my friend, what a
- 45:58Speaker 1: friend will pay for me to get baptize? Man, I've
- 46:00Speaker 1: been baptized, are already doc well from my understanding, sir
- 46:03Speaker 1: that but then that you you had some some bumps
- 46:06Speaker 1: and bruises and and and they seem to believe that
- 46:09Speaker 1: you need to be Washington coming. I mean, that's all good,
- 46:12Speaker 1: that's all, that's all. It's all good. But I mean
- 46:14Speaker 1: things are I mean things that matter that it made man,
- 46:17Speaker 1: I mean, I've been baptized. I go to church, you know,
- 46:20Speaker 1: uh me and the Lord don't have no problems. I mean,
- 46:22Speaker 1: we all have setbacks. But for you to pull up
- 46:25Speaker 1: with your pool in front of my house to say
- 46:27Speaker 1: you've been a baptize me, that that doesn't make any
- 46:30Speaker 1: sense to me. Doc. I mean sometimes when some people
- 46:33Speaker 1: are not able to go to the house of the
- 46:35Speaker 1: Lord and get baptized, you know, we're making a lot
- 46:38Speaker 1: more convenient for you. But we can actually need no convenience.
- 46:42Speaker 1: I don't need no convenience. What I need convenience for
- 46:45Speaker 1: you asking me to come to my house on a
- 46:48Speaker 1: Tuesday so baptized me in my driveway? Does that make
- 46:54Speaker 1: any sense to you? Brother water? I mean, come on,
- 46:56Speaker 1: if you really sit back and think about it, does
- 46:58Speaker 1: that make any sense to you? Further coming? First of all,
- 47:02Speaker 1: so that that's that's that's that's brothers spring water. But
- 47:04Speaker 1: what I'm trying to what I'm trying to see the
- 47:06Speaker 1: water is holy water, spring water. It doesn't make no
- 47:10Speaker 1: difference to me. You can't come to my neighborhood and
- 47:13Speaker 1: baptize me in front of my home. So what is
- 47:17Speaker 1: all that I ain't war? This is this is what
- 47:19Speaker 1: your friends are talking about that don't give it? That
- 47:21Speaker 1: what my prayers are telling you, man that anybody which
- 47:24Speaker 1: which one of my friends, don't recommend you to come
- 47:26Speaker 1: to my damn house. So I'm skin and if I
- 47:30Speaker 1: don't let make that you don't even make any sense
- 47:33Speaker 1: to me. You understand, I'm not I'm not at any
- 47:35Speaker 1: liberty to tell you who actually, uh importuning the liberty
- 47:38Speaker 1: became to my gym house that baptized me. But you
- 47:41Speaker 1: can't tell me who the hell I gonna see you?
- 47:43Speaker 1: But you're not what man? Come on, you don't even
- 47:46Speaker 1: come on that that makes sense for you. Come on,
- 47:48Speaker 1: that doesn't make any no way in the world. I'm
- 47:50Speaker 1: gonna allow you to come and bring your phone in
- 47:52Speaker 1: front of my house and baptize me. Then I'm asking
- 47:55Speaker 1: you ask and you you supposed to be a pastor,
- 47:58Speaker 1: you supposed to get baptized. I'm asking you, Okay, what's
- 48:00Speaker 1: a friend of mine is telling you that, you know,
- 48:02Speaker 1: letting you know I need to be done. You'll tell
- 48:04Speaker 1: you how that liberty, sir, all I wanted to Basically,
- 48:08Speaker 1: I've already been paid, I'm coming to church. I'm baptizing me.
- 48:14Speaker 1: Then back time, I'm going to baptize you on Tuesday
- 48:17Speaker 1: in your driveway. Man, I tell you was did you
- 48:20Speaker 1: come to my house and front of my driveways? You
- 48:23Speaker 1: better bring an old congregation, you understand, You better bring
- 48:26Speaker 1: the deacons, the brothers, the Sistance and everybody as you
- 48:29Speaker 1: think how many you got ties of which this is
- 48:31Speaker 1: a problem. This is what your friends are talking about.
- 48:33Speaker 1: This is why you need to be baptized and cleansed
- 48:35Speaker 1: again and washed in the blood of the lamp. This
- 48:38Speaker 1: is what's wrong. You need to be cleans That's what's
- 48:41Speaker 1: wrong with you, mister Wilton. What's wrong with me? Now,
- 48:44Speaker 1: what's wrong with you is called me in a little
- 48:45Speaker 1: my hope. They're telling me I need to be back
- 48:47Speaker 1: tip in front of my house. If I need to
- 48:49Speaker 1: be backtip, don't get some only water, I go down
- 48:51Speaker 1: to the church. I don't need you come in front
- 48:53Speaker 1: of my house making an old churers. We are you
- 48:56Speaker 1: afraid of some white sheets talking about to backtip me
- 48:59Speaker 1: that for mama, saying, from my understanding, from my understanding,
- 49:02Speaker 1: mister Wilson, you've missed two Sundays already this month, surning
- 49:06Speaker 1: this man. I can't go anywhere and get the one
- 49:09Speaker 1: I don't need if you coming here because you telling
- 49:11Speaker 1: I missed to damn Sundays. I'm gonna miss sending two
- 49:14Speaker 1: till the funhou ain't coming off, sir. All I know
- 49:17Speaker 1: is I've been paid to do a job. I will
- 49:19Speaker 1: be there Tuesday morning at seven o'clock and we will
- 49:21Speaker 1: baptize you before you go to work on two more.
- 49:24Speaker 1: You would I tell you what, you curting my afterelling
- 49:27Speaker 1: o'clock morning. I swear on your lord, I'm gonna bust you.
- 49:31Speaker 1: You understand me. You would not cutting my house telling
- 49:35Speaker 1: me you would have backtipe. Now, I don't give a
- 49:36Speaker 1: damn who paid you. You understand I was drying your
- 49:40Speaker 1: awards matter, stop down, bringing you your teachers, everybody else.
- 49:43Speaker 1: We're gonna have a fool prot you. That you understand.
- 49:46Speaker 1: I'm time all of this anger and all of this

- 52:30Speaker 1: bub hold on tie Strawberry letter. All right, this is
- 52:34Speaker 1: a long one. The subject my ex girlfriend is a
- 52:37Speaker 1: huge problem. Dear Stephen Shirley, I have a big problem.
- 52:43Speaker 1: Two years ago, I relocated for work. Before I moved,
- 52:46Speaker 1: I had a special lady that I enjoyed spending time with.
- 52:50Speaker 1: She was a big, fine woman, thick in all of
- 52:54Speaker 1: the right places. It's been a year since I had
- 52:57Speaker 1: seen her, and I was missing her good loving so
- 53:01Speaker 1: I called her and told her I was sending her
- 53:04Speaker 1: a bus ticket to come visit me. Yes, a bus ticket,
- 53:08Speaker 1: because a brother ain't rich. What The weekend finally came
- 53:16Speaker 1: and I was so excited to see her. But oh
- 53:19Speaker 1: my goodness, when this woman got off the bus, I
- 53:22Speaker 1: swear I barely recognized her. She had almost doubled in
- 53:27Speaker 1: size in the patch year. Don't get me wrong, I
- 53:30Speaker 1: like big girls, but she should have told me that
- 53:33Speaker 1: she gained a lot of weight. I didn't say anything,
- 53:35Speaker 1: and I tried not to look shocked. As soon as
- 53:38Speaker 1: we got in the car, she pulled out a bag
- 53:40Speaker 1: of snacks and offered me a brownie. I always loved
- 53:45Speaker 1: her cooking, so I ate a brownie. When we got
- 53:48Speaker 1: to my apartment, I ate another brownie. Then I realized
- 53:52Speaker 1: something wasn't quite right. Oh, I was high as heck.
- 53:57Speaker 1: She admitted that the brown he's had weed in them,
- 54:01Speaker 1: like it was no big deal. I was sitting on
- 54:03Speaker 1: the couch trying to get myself together, when all of
- 54:06Speaker 1: a sudden, she climbed on me and said she was
- 54:09Speaker 1: going to give me exactly what I'd been missing. All
- 54:13Speaker 1: I could do was lie there, pinned to the couch.
- 54:15Speaker 1: She took advantage of me for what seemed like hours.
- 54:19Speaker 1: I wanted to yell out for her to stop, but
- 54:22Speaker 1: nothing came out because I was too high. I ended
- 54:25Speaker 1: up passing out on the couch. The next day, I
- 54:28Speaker 1: told her that I felt violated. She said she could
- 54:32Speaker 1: tell that I had had a problem with her weight,
- 54:34Speaker 1: so she took matters into her own hands. I couldn't
- 54:37Speaker 1: wait to get this big, wild woman out of my house.
- 54:40Speaker 1: Now she keeps calling and texting me and I don't
- 54:43Speaker 1: want anything to do with her. How can I get
- 54:45Speaker 1: rid of her without hurting her feelings? This is a
- 54:48Speaker 1: huge problem. Well, be careful what you asked for? Humh.
- 54:54Speaker 1: You know what though, I'm really sorry, Yeah, because a
- 55:00Speaker 1: long letter. I'm really sorry that you know you feel violated.
- 55:03Speaker 1: I really am. And it's not talked about a lot,
- 55:06Speaker 1: but men do get violated, and in this case, you
- 55:09Speaker 1: were violated. If you felt that way, you know, if
- 55:12Speaker 1: this situation were reversed we probably have a completely different
- 55:16Speaker 1: answer for you. But I will tell you this. She
- 55:19Speaker 1: is out of your house, she's out of town, so
- 55:23Speaker 1: you don't have that to worry about. As far as
- 55:25Speaker 1: the phone is concerned, you don't have to answer her calls,
- 55:29Speaker 1: I mean, or you can just simply tell her it's
- 55:31Speaker 1: not going to work out. You didn't appreciate what she
- 55:34Speaker 1: did and all of that. But maybe as a man,
- 55:36Speaker 1: you don't feel like you should tell her all of that,
- 55:39Speaker 1: But I think you should. I think you should be
- 55:41Speaker 1: honest with this woman and let her know that what
- 55:43Speaker 1: she did is wrong and how you felt about the situation.
- 55:46Speaker 1: And please do not send her another bus ticket, all right,
- 55:51Speaker 1: that's in your best interest, Steve. Well, it's so much
- 55:56Speaker 1: to this letter. Should I just break it down line
- 55:59Speaker 1: by line? Come on? Because I get so many angles
- 56:03Speaker 1: in this letter. Shirley, my ex girlfriend is a huge problem.
- 56:08Speaker 1: Dear Stephen, Shirley, I have a big problem right there.
- 56:13Speaker 1: You damn show due and it's about to step down
- 56:16Speaker 1: off a bus. So the whole time two years ago,
- 56:21Speaker 1: I was okay for my boothy. I had a special
- 56:26Speaker 1: lady I enjoyed spending time with. She's a big fan
- 56:30Speaker 1: war thicking all the right place. It's been a year
- 56:33Speaker 1: since I've seen her, and I was missing her, good love,
- 56:37Speaker 1: So I called her and told her that I was
- 56:41Speaker 1: sending her a bus ticket to come visit me. Yes,
- 56:45Speaker 1: a bus ticket, because a brother ain't rich. Two things here,
- 56:51Speaker 1: when you busting them in, when you busting on the end,
- 56:58Speaker 1: we are already dealing with low budget love it man.
- 57:03Speaker 1: You busting them in. They bust kids to slip, they
- 57:06Speaker 1: bust freedom riding, busting boycotty. You don't do that in
- 57:12Speaker 1: modern David, but you somehow manage to bring that all
- 57:15Speaker 1: the way up. We stopped busting back a long time ago.
- 57:19Speaker 1: You still doing it. And because this is low budget loving,
- 57:23Speaker 1: you must deal with another old saying, you get what
- 57:28Speaker 1: you pay for, all right. Now, See, first of all,
- 57:32Speaker 1: what woman you know willing to get up on the bus.
- 57:35Speaker 1: I don't know, Sove West, come on, now, this woman
- 57:39Speaker 1: got off the bus. I swear I barely recognized. She
- 57:43Speaker 1: had almost doubled in size from the past year because
- 57:47Speaker 1: she missed you, and so she been eating you like
- 57:51Speaker 1: big women. Don't get me wrong, I like big girls. Okay, well,
- 57:55Speaker 1: well we're gonna get to like it. But she should
- 58:00Speaker 1: have told me that she had gained a lot of week.
- 58:03Speaker 1: You didn't ask. Why would that come? Your cheap ass
- 58:07Speaker 1: just sent the bus to You didn't ask because she
- 58:11Speaker 1: didn't have to volunteer. Oh you want to see me
- 58:14Speaker 1: here I come. I didn't say anything, and I tried
- 58:18Speaker 1: not to look shot. I didn't say anything, and I
- 58:21Speaker 1: tried not to look shot. You can't take that look
- 58:24Speaker 1: off your face with a big ass person getting down
- 58:27Speaker 1: off a bus called the whole side and the bus
- 58:30Speaker 1: go down. When she stepped on that last step and
- 58:33Speaker 1: you saw that bust looked like it was coming to
- 58:34Speaker 1: our It's hard not to look shock when somebody finding
- 58:38Speaker 1: turnover a damn bum. All right, Hang on two of
- 58:45Speaker 1: Steve's response coming up. You're listening show. All right, Steve,
- 58:53Speaker 1: come on with part two of your response to today's
- 58:55Speaker 1: Strawberry letter. My ex girlfriend is a huge problem. Let's
- 58:59Speaker 1: recap real something. Just a man used the data woman
- 59:01Speaker 1: a year ago misster love, and he liked fine, thick
- 59:04Speaker 1: with it. He sent for a bus ticket, she got
- 59:06Speaker 1: on the bus, and when she got off the bus,
- 59:08Speaker 1: all hell. He couldn't believe it. She had doubled inside.
- 59:11Speaker 1: So that's where. Okay, but I want to bring to
- 59:16Speaker 1: your attention. Then show me the last fine person you've
- 59:21Speaker 1: seen on a bus crossing state lines. That's my challenge.
- 59:27Speaker 1: Ticket people that ride the bus looked like they ride
- 59:32Speaker 1: the bus de terminal. In the terminal, you know who
- 59:37Speaker 1: they in him? Yeah, it's a different crew. They don't
- 59:41Speaker 1: have lugging. They have clothes, laundry baskets with closed stuff
- 59:45Speaker 1: to them in duct table. Wow, that's how they travel.
- 59:50Speaker 1: All they closed in grocery bags and zip locks afty
- 59:56Speaker 1: number one. Yeah, all right, now, she had gained a
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: lot of weight. I ain't say anything, and I tried
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: not to look shot. It's hard not to be because
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: you say little stuff to yourself. That's what Jesus good. Oh,
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: what the hell I'm gonna tell me to do? I
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: ain't got no extension for the seat man. It's self
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: off to kill herself with her slam only break. Well,
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: at least she don't need any bag. Yeah, this is
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: what the stuff he's said is. As soon as we
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: got in the car, she pulled out a bag of
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: snacks and offered me a brownie. I always loved the cooking,
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: so I ate a brownie. When we got to my apartment.
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: I ain't another brownie. Then I realized some wasn't quite right.
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: I was high as hell. Yeah, and she knew it too.
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: She gave you the brownie to get you off your game.
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: Yeah she didn't. Brownies got you loop. Now. After she
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: did that, she admitted that her brownies had weed in him,
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: but like it was no big deal. I was sitting
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: on the couch trying to get myself together, when all
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: of a sudden she climbed on me and said she
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: was gonna give me exactly what I had been missed up.
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: Just about your buster here, I am a fit to
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: bring it now, big fitting brain at RMA got something
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: for you. Gonna get to you then what you want
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: to do? What your bus? Then? It is all I
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: could do is lie there, pin to the couch. You
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: damn right, your pin She doubled the size she whipping
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: your hands. Actually, actually, what's happened to you in the
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: middle of last room, you don't even know it. She
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: can pinned you. You're the wrest of the map. You'd
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: have been out. She took advantage of me for what
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: seemed like hours. Anytime you want to you don't want
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: to do something seemed way long. You probably an't about
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: eight minutes, felt like any high, big armor, just getting
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: to you know what the hell going on? I wanted
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: to yell out for her to stop, but she couldn't.
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: You know why, because she had your pin. She cut
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: your win off. Big people know how to work they weight.
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: She got just weight on. You tried to yell out,
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: but every time you take a deep breath, it came
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: in your chest mote. So now you can't even take
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: a deep breath. Then not that's pressed up. So you
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: tried to yell out, but her big ass had your pin.
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: Nothing came out because I was too high. I ended
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: up passing out on the couch. You got choked out,
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: is what happened to you. Boy, You got passed out
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: because you got put out. Next day I told her
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: I felt violator. She said that she could tell that
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: I had a problem with her weight. You know what
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: she could tell when you get down off that bus
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: because you try not to look shot, but your ass was.
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: You know when you first see your woman, who lord
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: ain't ain't a good steak? Whoa lord? Not? Whoa whoa mean? Stop?
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: Now she keeps calling and texting me and I don't
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: want anything to do with her. Why can I get
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: rid of her without hurting her feeling? This is a
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: huge problem. You damn right, it's a huge problem. But
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: here's the first thing you do. I don't want to
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: have anything to do with her. How can I get
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: rid of her without hurting her feel You can block
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: her number, or you can just get a whole new
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: fund that you got to get drafted because big people
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: don't give up. I'll tell you right now. People wear
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: your ass down. So now what you want to do
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: is you want to block her and you want to
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: get a new number. Only that problem you can do it.
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: First of all, you got to stop buying bust kicking.
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: Don't buy another damn bus kicking. Busting her in is
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: the first beginning of all your problems. People ups getting
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: off the bus before her, didn't it clue you? In?
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: Damn crazy are looking at people. So when she got
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: off the bus, what you thought she was just fing
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: to be the real light jumping down off the same light? Yeah,
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: you thought something angel were gonna come out of this bus?
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: No hear her, big ass, come Steve, she would double
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: the size stik. See Shelley, you a fine, sister. You
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: can't double, though, anybody fing to do you in double?
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: Carll It, you can't double, Monica, you can't double. You
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: can't double. We deal with we. We we work with
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: you where you're at. Everybody got it going on. But
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: what you can't do with double? Look? All right, what
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: is that your Okay? That's your response to today's Strawberry Letter,
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: like buy no more, damn busted? Yeah? She yes, and
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: carl It and Monica next time we travel. Just know that, y'all.
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: Answer been coming in on the bus. All right, Steve,
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: we gotta get out of here, email us or Instagram.
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: That's your thoughts on today's Strawberry Letter. And we'll be
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: back with more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: after this. You're listening show. All right, we're back. Let's go.
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: Come on, y'all. I want to inspire, I want to help.
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: I want to uplift. I want to share. It's not
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: so much teaching as it is for me with just sharing.
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: You are the gift that just keeps on giving. I
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: try to be here. Okay, Steve, what's your best advice
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: to keep us focused? Well? I learned this from Eric Thomas.
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: To be honest with Oh yeah, he's one of the
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: greatest motivational speakers I've ever heard. Eric Thomas is a
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: guy that I listened to. Okay, you know, I have
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: some great speakers out there, but Eric Thomas nails it
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: for me because he talked like, yeah, you know he
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: mad most of the kay. He swept to a shirt
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: in a minute, won't he the intensity what she talked.
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: When you have your visions and you have your motivation,
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: your dream, boy, the why, you gotta write down the why,
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: the why you want it to happen. Because Eric Thomas
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: said that the why eliminates that I quit that I
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: can't make it because the how it come is too big?
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: The why are you doing it? Like I have to
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: do this for my family? Well, it's it's harder to
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: quit when it's more than just you on the line.
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: You have to create a why. These big dreams you have,
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: they have to have a why behind that will help
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: you stay to it and fight through the discouragement. Also,
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: your dreams have to be bigger than the consequences are
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: the problems. Oh, you gotta want something so big that
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: no matter what it takes to get there or what
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: it costs or what the factor is this dream so
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: big I got to go on to go for it? Okay, okay, okay, cool.
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: I'm gonna lose time with my friends, but I'm gonna
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: be a millionaire. Okay, cool. So I won't be able
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: to go to happy hour no more because I'm trying
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: to go on vacation of a dream of a lifetime. Okay, cool, Yeah,
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: you know what I mean. Take the vacation. Dream has
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: to be so big that it outweighs the problems, all
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: the consequence. Okay, all right, that keeps you motivateing like that. Okay,
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: here's one more. I want to ask you this, because
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: you live this, do you ever feel guilty or have
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: you ever been made to feel guilty because of your success?
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: Because you're so successful? Lutely one hund you will go
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: through that period of feeling guilty about your success mainly
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: because the people closest to you are usually not experiencing
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: your success, and they make you feel obligated to them
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: because of your success. Because I knew you when? Okay,
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: well I got you knew me when? But do you
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: know me now? And what does do you knew me when?
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: Got to do with where I am now. Now if
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: y'all want to continue this conversation, we can, Okay, I
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: want you want to continue the conversation when we come back.
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: Most Steve Harmata shows right after that. You're listening, all right,
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: we're back. Wow, what an interesting conversation. It's it's the
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: morning show. We're asking Steve questions because I think it's
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: important for people to hear directly from somebody who doesn't
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: have an agenda with their life. Like I don't want
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: y'all do this because I get a piece all this here.
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: I genuinely want to share this information because I know
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: it's important to people. The average person out there really
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: does want to know how to make it. And unless
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: some body who has made it gets down off their
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: horse to share the information, where you're gonna get the
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: information from it? This inmation and marriage didn't have this.
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: I was just gonna say that we as a as
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: a race, we don't share this type of information. We're
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: starting to, maybe more now, but growing up, the only
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: thing we knew about money was money doesn't grow on trees?
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: Or do you think I'm made of money? Things like
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: that that our parents told us. So now we're getting
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: real information. Jay z is doing it in this on
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: ND Yeah, he's doing it. Let's go, Let's go back
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: to where we were. Tell us how we deal How
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: do you deal with the guilty because I'm constantly I'm
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: I loaned a lot of money. And let me ask
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: you something. Loading money. Does it not create tension? Yes?
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: It does? Y, Yes it does. Loaning money creates more
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: problems than it solved. And it's creating issues not only
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: with the person that you loaned it too, but then
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: in your own a home because now you have loaned
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: some money that belongs in your home, and now somebody
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: in your home may have to do without because we
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: didn't gave what we had over here. And usually money
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: you loan, but they don't understand about people that's climbing up.
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: Money they loan is money they need here. We don't
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: have no extra free money. And then let me explain
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: something to you about Let me explain something to you
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: about loaning you money or giving you money. Whenever I
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: give you money, I'm actually giving you that plus forty percent.
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: If you ask me for a thousand dollars and I
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: give you a thousand dollars, what I'm actually giving you
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: it's one thousand, four hundred dollars because Uncle Sam is
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: taxing me in the tax bracket. He don't give a
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: damn what you do with the money. So now I
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: didn't give you a thousand of mile dollars, plus I
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: got to send the government four hundred or that thousand
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: I sent you, old partner. Oh so now I really
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: ain't that simple. So when you're don't pay me back,
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: you really didn't jam me. Now, well, in your case,
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: people don't think you need it, you know, Oh, he'll
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: be all right. Money money, he's got money. He doesn't
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: need that money. I'll get it. I'll get it to
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: him when I get Here's the thing. While you are
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: coming up, people think that you have a reservoir of money,
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: But that reservoir of money you had to work for
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: the only reason you have a reservoir a little bit
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: of extra money or more than them is because you
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: usually work more than them. So now you are asking
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: me to take not only my money, but my time
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: that I've given to make this money and just let
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: you have that right because you know I got it. Well,
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: that's foul and you should not suffer from guilt. Because
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: let me explain something to you. I've learned about guilt.
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: Guilt is the most useless human emotion that there is
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: because guilt serves nothing. Guilt it's the most devoid, the
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: worst human emotion there is, because it serves no purpose.
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: What what does guilt serve when you feel guilty? What?
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: It don't help you, It don't benefit you. It does
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: nothing for you to feel guilt. But people take advantage
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: of the guilt for their own self entitlement and self
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: selfish needs. That's what they use. They use guilt for that.
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: So guilt serves no purpose. So stop feeling guilty because
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: you're blessed. Stop feeling guilty because God has given you grace.
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: Stop feeling guilty because you go to work and nobody
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: gave you nothing. Nobody mails you free money. And we'll
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: be that and we'll be that. You're listening all right?
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: Day after fourth of July, This is July fifth. Yeah,
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: so I'm sure you're off today. You're off today? Right?
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: Did you have to work? Well, we're here, huh, we're looking.
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: We're looking at each other. Were usually usually when it
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: comes this late in the week. Come on, now, I
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: got something we can still do. Though there's still some
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: celebration left. Oh really, yeah, I see if you got
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: left over barbecue okay, yeah, okay, y'all got that right. Okay,
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: you have left over fireworks check? Okay, huh. Then we
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: have a July filth naked celebration. You see what I'm saying.
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: We're not doing that man, taking into the weekend, Tommy,
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: eat barbecue and just take it on into the weekend.
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: The weekend your cousin never called, yes, never called. You
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: showed up yesterday. He wanted to take a dip in
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: the pool, barbecue, and the celebration on the fifth. If
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: I ever go to someone's house and everyone's in there,
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: everyone in there is naked and they're eating barbecue and
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: shooting fireworks, I'm not even gonna get on my car.
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: I'm out. You don't knock it to you try. Yeah,
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: I've never tried that. It's really it's really cool. If
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: you try. It depends on how good the barbecue. Yeah,
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: we'll be back with more guys on this day after
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: July fourth. We're still celebrating though, Happy holidays. Taken on
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: into the weekend. We'll be back right after this. You're
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: listening to show well, guys forty three million people will
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: be traveling over this weekend. Now, if you believe this
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: new survey, Yeah, that's a lot of people. If you
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: believe this new survey, the average American traveler hates going
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: to the airport so much that they'd add six and
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: a half hours to their travel time if it meant
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: they could drive and take road tra to their location instead. Wow. Wow, Well,
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: you know, it is a more enjoyable experience to drive
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: for a lot of people, because look, I used to
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: take buses. I'm talking about who we were touring. Oh yeah,
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: Like for example, if I was going you know, okay, okay,
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: all of us lived in Atlanta for a period, right,
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: Like if I was going to Birmingham to perform, I'm
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: not going to get a plane. Or if I'm going
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: to a Lando or I'm going South Carolina, I'm going
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: somewhere like that, I'm getting a bus man. Because if
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: you gotta leave in plenty of time, you gotta pack,
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: you gotta get dressed, you gotta get in the car,
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: you gotta get to the airport at least i and
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: a half before, and you gotta sit there and wait.
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: Then you got a board, then you fly. Then when
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: you land. You gotta go to the baggage claim, get
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: your bag. Then you gotta travel to the hotel. But
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: then you could have been when you was going. That's no,
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: you need to stop, Steve, because when you get your bag,
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: that's a two hour will wait, that's longer than the flight.
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: Oh man, I'm trying. Oh my baggage claimed, I have
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: steward there. I don't know who working back there. Man,
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: I know, but when you got it, I saw you don't. Yeah,
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: you're right, Steve, all that time when you yeah, all
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: that when you think about it, Yeah, you can get
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: on the road, put your luggage in the trunk and
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: be there and you just get to spend in a
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: couple of hours, spend time more relaxing. Yeah, I don't
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: want to spend no time. When we took the bus,
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: when we went to Albany from Atlanta web we had
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: to show down there. Yeah, all of was on there.
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: You was. We was having fun. I thought we was
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: maybe just maybe I'm glad to be anyway. He didn't
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: changed again. Let's go on call. You ain't been no
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: body baggage claiming a long time. No, damn, wait, your
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: bad right off the back of your plane. You talking about?
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: He stood in no bag? What's his frustration? I ain't
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: got no frustration. Roll out there, up to his plane,
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: get out, walk up them stuff? You get all his plane? Oh,
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: ain't nobody tending to get off the dawn phone and nothing.
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: He talking all the way through the flight taking off
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: the ain't no seat belt on and nothing, just sitting
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: there and sitting there, putting out there. I'm gonna say,
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: what kind of sing all I got? Naw, Look, God
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: is blessing. But once get I ain't mad at h
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: He ain't mad at him? Sound he get out of come? No,
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: he got Yeah. At seventy three percent of Americans, Steve
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: agree with you. They considered road tripping a more pleasant
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: experience than flying. You gotta take your shoes off, you
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: gotta undress, you got it? Oh my god, lay on
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: that nicket and just going on. All right, coming up.
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: It's Steve Harvey and his closing remarks. You don't want
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: to miss it. At forty nine after the hour, you're listening,
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: all right, Steve, Here we are last break of the
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: day on this Friday. Take us home today. I'm still
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: committed to trying to uplift everybody I really want to share,
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: not teach. I want to share with you all, just
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: some things I've learned and understand. I don't know it all,
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: and I don't think I know more than you. It's
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: just that I've learned in my life that repetition is
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: sometimes good. Somebody told me one time that there's a scripture.
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: I don't know where it is, but it says something
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: to the effect that faith comes from hearing, not from
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: having heard. I didn't understand that until I got older.
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: Faith comes from hearing, not having heard. Sometimes you've heard
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: something in the past but it didn't quite connect, but
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: all of a sudden, you hear it at a particular
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: time in your life, and oh my god, it's it's
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: like a brand news phrase. It's almost like you've never
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: heard it before, but it clicked. The lightbulb turns on.
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: So that's what I was taught, that faith comes from hearing,
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: not from having heard. So sometimes repetition is good in
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: why sayings or understanding a scripture because at a particular
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: time in your life, it's so valuable to you because
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: it happens right when you need it to hear. So,
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: in my commitment to uplift people, this year, I've decided
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: today to talk to you about another mindset that you
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: have to develop to get to where you're going, and
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: that is to elevate your thinking. You've got to elevate
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: your thinking. You have got to think above your current
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: circumstance because where you are now, the moment you say now,
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: as soon as you get through saying now, that moment
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: that you claimed as now is gone. So what I
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: want you to do is I want you to start
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: thinking beyond today because for the majority of us, tomorrow
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: is going to come. For the majority, tomorrow is going
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: to come. So I want you to elevate your thinking
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: so that you can have a better tomorrow. And what
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: I mean by that is, I want you to up
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: your ask when you're talking to God. From now on,
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: up your ask the things you've been asking God for.
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: I want you to think about it, elevate it, expand
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: on it, blowing up. It's not too big for God.
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: It may seem tremendous for you, it's nothing. For him,
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: it's absolutely nothing. It's a wave overhead to blink over now.
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: It's a mere emotion. To him, it's nothing. It's it's
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: an afterthought. He does amazing things. But you've got to
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: call on him to get to gain access to all
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: this amazing stuff. There's a scripture that says you have
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: not because you asked not, And simply what that means
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: is just what it says, you have not because you
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: ask not. Most people don't have the life of their
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: dreams because they never ask God for it. Now you
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: think about that, what have you been asking him for?
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: If you've constantly been asking for rent, don't he always
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: give it to you? Don't you somehow always manage to
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: come up with the rent. Might be a little bit late,
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: but don't you come up with it? Yeah? You do.
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: Suppose you change that. Just ask for a mortgage. Why
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: would he not give it to you. It's just some
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: money to where you stay, It's all it is. So
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: if you keep asking for rent, you're gonna get read.
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: But if you ask God for a mortgage, you give
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: you a mortgage. But you have not caused you asked not.
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: You got to up your ass. Let me show you something.
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: This is not bragging, but I want to show you something.
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: You're listening to a person who's been at just about
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: every economic state. So at one point in time, I
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: kept asking God. I said, God, man, I show want
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: to see another zero in my income, if you could
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: just give me another another zero. So I was making,
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: you know, some thousands back then, right in a year.
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: I've had years where I've made four thousand dollars. I've
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: had years where I've made seven thousand dollars. I've had
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: years where I've made eight thousand, five hundred dollars. I've
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: had some lean years in this comedy thing. So I
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: asked God, man, if I could just get another zero.
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: But you know what I did to zero kicked me
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: up to ten thousand, and from eight thousand to ten
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: thousand spread out over the year, I did not really
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: see a big jump in my lifestyle because to two
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: thousand dollars it elevated it, but it wasn't quite what
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: I wanted, and so I just kept asking for zero.
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: Do you know what happened? One day I was talking
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: to this very very wealthy guy and I told him
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: my theory of praying for the zeros. He said, you're
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: praying too small. I said, what do you mean? He said,
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: you praying too small? You asking for zeros. He said,
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: if you get another zero from ten thousand, you half
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: one hundred thousand dollars. He said, that ain't where you
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: want to be. He said, why don't you ask God
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: for some commas? I said what he said? Why you
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: keep asking for zeros commas? Change your life? Ask God
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: for commas. Elevate your thinking. When I went from asking
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: God from zeros to com do you know he gave
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: me another comma? Do you know what that did for
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: my life? Do you know what it would do for yours?
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: But you can't get it unless you ask. You have
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: not because you asked. Now, elevate your thinking in this year.
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: If you up your ask, he will up his guilt.
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: It's a fact. It's not a theory of mind. It's
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: a fact. You have not cause your ass not. Those
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: are my closing remarks. Drop it drop, I'm telling drop
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: it a comma man. Have a good weekend for real,
