  Speaker 11: and an analogy came to me last night of what

  Speaker 11: with my mom and she would let me buy a

  Speaker 11: jigsaw puzzle. Now, for those of you, a jigsaw puzzle

  Speaker 11: comes in a box. There are no instructions. It just

  Speaker 11: comes in a box and it's simple. You're gonna dump
• 3:43
  Speaker 11: the pieces out in a pile and you're gonna try
• 3:47
  Speaker 11: to put the pieces together until it looks like the
• 3:50
  Speaker 11: picture that's on the cover of the box.

  Speaker 2: That's as simple as it is. Here is the deal.

  Speaker 11: I would select a jigsaw puzzle based on the picture
• 4:08
  Speaker 11: that I liked and if I thought I could do it. Now,

  Speaker 11: if the picture looked too crazy, if it looked too intricate,
• 4:19
  Speaker 11: I didn't want that puzzle, you know. And the thing was,
• 4:23
  Speaker 11: back in the day you got a jigsaw puzzle. You
• 4:25
  Speaker 11: had a hundred piece puzzles. Four hundred piece puzzles, man,
• 4:29
  Speaker 11: then they say a thousand piece puzzle.

  Speaker 2: You go ooom.
• 4:33
  Speaker 11: So those were a little difficult for me when I
• 4:36
  Speaker 11: was a little boy, so I didn't want that. As

  Speaker 11: I got a little bit older, I had more challenging puzzles,

  Speaker 11: you know, four fifty five hundred piece puzzles. But I
• 4:50
  Speaker 11: always picked a picture of something I liked. So it's
• 4:55
  Speaker 11: very simple. You get the jigsaw puzzle, you get it home,
• 4:57
  Speaker 11: you open it up, you dump it out on the table.

  Speaker 11: You flip all the pieces over so you can see them,
• 5:05
  Speaker 11: and then I would try to sort them based on
• 5:08
  Speaker 11: the colors on the box. If it was like a
• 5:10
  Speaker 11: black section, I'd take all the black pieces and slide
• 5:14
  Speaker 11: them over there.
• 5:14
  Speaker 2: If it was some flowers, I'd try to find all
• 5:17
  Speaker 2: the pictures.
• 5:17
  Speaker 11: With little jigsaw pieces with the little floor, and I
• 5:21
  Speaker 11: separate them and then i'd start putting it together. And
• 5:23
  Speaker 11: the way I started was i'd try to build a
• 5:25
  Speaker 11: border first, because I knew all the straight edges had
• 5:29
  Speaker 11: to be side by side at one point.
• 5:32
  Speaker 2: And it was funny, man, because it's related to my life.

  Speaker 11: I would start putting the pieces together of the picture
• 5:40
  Speaker 11: I saw that I liked, and that would be my picture.

  Speaker 11: A lot of people didn't like jigsaw puzzles. As a
• 5:50
  Speaker 11: matter of fact, none of the boys on the street
• 5:52
  Speaker 11: liked jigsaw puzzles but me, because they just didn't want
• 5:56
  Speaker 11: to go through the intricate details of figuring that out
• 6:00
  Speaker 11: to go outside and run or something like that. And
• 6:03
  Speaker 11: so what happened was, as I got older, I wanted
• 6:07
  Speaker 11: more difficult in challenging puzzles.
• 6:10
  Speaker 2: But I wouldn't go too far. I wanted some nice
• 6:13
  Speaker 2: stuff to happen.
• 6:14
  Speaker 11: I had a picture of what I wanted for my life,
• 6:17
  Speaker 11: but I didn't want to go too far because it
• 6:20
  Speaker 11: was so challenging and difficult. I couldn't see myself with
• 6:24
  Speaker 11: all of that, and I didn't have the time, the knowledge,
• 6:27
  Speaker 11: the expertise, the figuring all the intricate details. And I
• 6:32
  Speaker 11: discovered something when I was talking last night. That's what
• 6:37
  Speaker 11: happens in life to a lot of people. You get
• 6:40
  Speaker 11: bogged down with the details of coming up and trying
• 6:43
  Speaker 11: to create the picture that you want for yourself. You
• 6:46
  Speaker 11: put it to the side, You say, ah, that puzzles
• 6:48
  Speaker 11: are crazy. Next thing you know, you crumb it up
• 6:51
  Speaker 11: and put it back in the box. So you go
• 6:53
  Speaker 11: halfway and you get stuck, and you get to the
• 6:55
  Speaker 11: part where it ain't a lot of different colors.
• 6:57
  Speaker 2: It's all the same, and that's a little bit more challenging.

  Speaker 2: So that may stop you.

  Speaker 11: But it's somewhere in the jigsaw puzzle that it gets
• 7:04
  Speaker 11: very difficult and challenging. The bigger the picture you want,
• 7:09
  Speaker 11: but then what all happened in your life, It's just
• 7:13
  Speaker 11: like what happened in a jigsaw. Once you get comfortable
• 7:17
  Speaker 11: and you don't mind the challenge, you could get a
• 7:21
  Speaker 11: bigger picture. But here's the key to it, though, if
• 7:26
  Speaker 11: you put God in your mix. See the picture that
• 7:30
  Speaker 11: I saw for myself as a boy is not the
• 7:33
  Speaker 11: picture that has happened to me as a man. Because
• 7:37
  Speaker 11: along the way from boyhood to manhood, from the time
• 7:40
  Speaker 11: I was telling you understand what happened along the ride
• 7:44
  Speaker 11: in there was I started putting God in the mix.
• 7:49
  Speaker 11: And so now the picture that I have now is
• 7:52
  Speaker 11: not the picture I saw. It's the picture that God saw.

  Speaker 11: So what I'm saying this analogy is the picture you
• 8:01
  Speaker 11: have may be difficult to complete, but if you were
• 8:05
  Speaker 11: to include God in your life. Put God in your
• 8:09
  Speaker 11: jigsaw puzzle. God will not only help you complete the puzzle,
• 8:14
  Speaker 11: and he gonna add some pieces, he gonna do some favors,
• 8:18
  Speaker 11: he gonna show some mercy, and you gonna look up
• 8:21
  Speaker 11: and the picture that you're able to end up with
• 8:24
  Speaker 11: will be totally different and much more complete, much more beautiful,
• 8:28
  Speaker 11: a bigger picture than the one you had, because there's
• 8:31
  Speaker 11: no way that I could have sought a life that
• 8:33
  Speaker 11: I have today back when I was a boy. And
• 8:37
  Speaker 11: it amazes me when I hear people say I always
• 8:40
  Speaker 11: saw this for myself. Ah, I didn't do that. I
• 8:43
  Speaker 11: didn't quite see this for myself. I don't know how
• 8:45
  Speaker 11: you can have the ability to see what God really
• 8:48
  Speaker 11: has for you. But man, he's a master for jigsaw. Man,
• 8:52
  Speaker 11: he's an incredible puzzle completed. So if you got a
• 8:56
  Speaker 11: puzzle that's challenging to you, maybe you need to see
• 8:59
  Speaker 11: what's the picture that God has for your life. If
• 9:03
  Speaker 11: God were in your life, if you complete it to puzzle,
• 9:08
  Speaker 11: what would it look like. It'll be a far more
• 9:11
  Speaker 11: extensive puzzle and it would be a far more beautiful
• 9:15
  Speaker 11: piece of scenery than you could have ever imagined tears
• 9:18
  Speaker 11: come in my eyes because I can't.

  Speaker 2: Believe God bought me this far.

  Speaker 11: I can't believe that when I opened up and accepted
• 9:26
  Speaker 11: him and started talking to him, that he would add

  Speaker 11: all these piecels to my jigsaw puzzle, and my jigsaw

  Speaker 11: puzzle would look like this. And I can tell you

  Speaker 11: I ain't got a whole lot to do with with

  Speaker 11: with what out and turned into. It's mostly favor and
• 9:41
  Speaker 11: blessings and grace and mercy of God. And I looked

  Speaker 11: up and I just got a much bigger jigsaw puzzle completed.

  Speaker 11: And guess what, He ain't through with me yet. That's

  Speaker 11: what's amazing and exciting about a relationship with God.
