- 2:03Speaker 1: good marded everybody, y'all listening to the boss, come on
- 2:07Speaker 1: dig me now. One and only Steve Harvey got a
- 2:11Speaker 1: radio show. Keep saying it can't stop. Man o, man o, man,
- 2:15Speaker 1: what a journey it has been. I thank God for
- 2:17Speaker 1: every single step of the way. I learned to thank
- 2:20Speaker 1: him for the bad times too, because it taught me something.
- 2:24Speaker 1: All the bad times, all the failures, they became valuable
- 2:28Speaker 1: experiences in my life. Every time I failed, I learned
- 2:31Speaker 1: a little bit more about getting up. Every time I
- 2:34Speaker 1: was told no, it moved me one step closer to yes.
- 2:37Speaker 1: It made me stronger, tough in my skin. It made
- 2:41Speaker 1: me learn how to deal with haters. It made me
- 2:43Speaker 1: learn how to deal with people who don't have your
- 2:46Speaker 1: best interests at heart. Man, ain't y'all all out there
- 2:49Speaker 1: feeling me on this one right here. It teaches you
- 2:52Speaker 1: who is who in your life. It shows you who
- 2:55Speaker 1: you can depend on and who you can't. And at
- 2:58Speaker 1: the end of the day, what it's taught me most
- 3:00Speaker 1: of all my hardships in my life, and it's really
- 3:03Speaker 1: about me and God. That is the one factor that
- 3:07Speaker 1: has been never changed in my life. God has always
- 3:12Speaker 1: been the same for me and for you and for
- 3:15Speaker 1: all of us. His word is true. It don't waiver,
- 3:19Speaker 1: it don't shake. You can shape it, readjust it if
- 3:22Speaker 1: you want to. It is really the way it's written.
- 3:25Speaker 1: It really is. You have your version of it if
- 3:27Speaker 1: you want to. But if you just read it the
- 3:30Speaker 1: way it is, it's real clear. Ain't no loopholes in it.
- 3:33Speaker 1: Every time you jump through a loophole, that's something over
- 3:36Speaker 1: that written that that counters that. So it's what I
- 3:39Speaker 1: want to get to today. Listen to me. You got
- 3:43Speaker 1: it within you, Oh it's there, Just use it. Listen
- 3:49Speaker 1: to me close. You got it within you. Oh it's there,
- 3:53Speaker 1: Just use it. If you hear me clearly, I'm really
- 3:57Speaker 1: fit to show you something this morning. You got it
- 4:00Speaker 1: within you. Oh it's there. Just use it, Steve, what
- 4:04Speaker 1: you're talking about. See, here's what's wrong with a lot
- 4:08Speaker 1: of people. Here's who's stopping so many people. You keep looking.
- 4:14Speaker 1: We keep looking for others to save us. We keep
- 4:19Speaker 1: looking for someone else to rescue us. We always looking
- 4:24Speaker 1: for some group of people or somebody to accept us.
- 4:28Speaker 1: We keep looking for someone else's approval. We always looking
- 4:34Speaker 1: for some group or somebody to deliver us, somebody, some
- 4:39Speaker 1: group of people to give us credibility, somebody or some
- 4:44Speaker 1: group of people who says we matter. We spend so
- 4:49Speaker 1: much time right there, and when the cavalry don't come
- 4:52Speaker 1: over the hill, when there ain't no saving and ain't
- 4:55Speaker 1: no deliverance, and then you don't get accepted, and and
- 4:58Speaker 1: and don't nobody really to save you, and the don't
- 5:01Speaker 1: nobody vouching for you and giving you credibility and throw
- 5:04Speaker 1: you into something nw you into this little state of man.
- 5:08Speaker 1: I don't know what I'm gonna do. Oh you got
- 5:10Speaker 1: it within you? Oh is there? Just use it? You
- 5:14Speaker 1: want to know what the real deal is, y'all? It's
- 5:17Speaker 1: you and God, and it's the God in you. Man.
- 5:24Speaker 1: I wish I could explain this right to you today
- 5:26Speaker 1: I want you to feel me on this right here,
- 5:29Speaker 1: and when you shake everything out the way, get rid
- 5:32Speaker 1: of all your expectations of people. The relationship you thought
- 5:36Speaker 1: was gonna last forever that didn't make it, the child
- 5:38Speaker 1: that you wanted to be, this that turned out to
- 5:40Speaker 1: be that, your friend you thought was your friend, that
- 5:43Speaker 1: stabbed you in the back. You found out they wasn't
- 5:46Speaker 1: the job you thought was gonna keep you and you'd
- 5:48Speaker 1: retire on they didn't close down, gave you a pink slip.
- 5:51Speaker 1: All of this, man, that death promised that somebody told
- 5:54Speaker 1: you they was gonna loan you this money, and on
- 5:56Speaker 1: loan day they say they ain't got it. Oh man,
- 5:59Speaker 1: oh man, man, this money you thought was gonna come
- 6:02Speaker 1: through on this check, The check ain't there? Oh man?
- 6:05Speaker 1: How many disappointments in life can you get? You thought
- 6:08Speaker 1: you had enough credit. I was to graduate. You found
- 6:11Speaker 1: out two weeks before you didn't. You can't grat all
- 6:14Speaker 1: this here, man, what's gonna happen? Man, look at the
- 6:16Speaker 1: disappointment in my life right now. But let me explain
- 6:20Speaker 1: something to you. When you get rid of all of that,
- 6:24Speaker 1: guess what you really got? You got God, that's the
- 6:27Speaker 1: whole anchilada. Baby, that's the ball of wax, that's the
- 6:30Speaker 1: monkeys in the barrel, that's the bag of chips. Listen
- 6:33Speaker 1: to me. If you got God, do you understand that
- 6:36Speaker 1: that's sufficient, That that's all you need. Can you feel
- 6:40Speaker 1: me now? You and God and the God in you,
- 6:46Speaker 1: it's really what you need. Stop looking for all these
- 6:49Speaker 1: outside sources for approval, to gain acceptance, to get credibility,
- 6:54Speaker 1: somebody to save you. The cavalry coming over the hill.
- 6:57Speaker 1: Why won't they recognize me? Why won't they give me closure?
- 7:01Speaker 1: Why they fire me? Why they foe closing on my house?
- 7:04Speaker 1: Don't they know I'm laid off. When you get through
- 7:06Speaker 1: it all, it at whining, it's gonna come down to
- 7:10Speaker 1: you and God and the God in you. If God
- 7:14Speaker 1: created man in his own image, God is a part
- 7:19Speaker 1: of you, that is a piece of you that's godly.
- 7:22Speaker 1: I don't care who you are. I don't care what
- 7:24Speaker 1: mistake you made. The murderer that's sitting in jail today
- 7:29Speaker 1: because of a moment in his life that he's now
- 7:32Speaker 1: paying for, has God in him. The biggest criminal. When
- 7:37Speaker 1: he gets through criminalizing or whatever you want to call it,
- 7:40Speaker 1: he's sitting there by hisself. That is a peace of
- 7:44Speaker 1: God in him that lets him know this ain't the way.
- 7:47Speaker 1: This wrong. You can love his money if you want
- 7:50Speaker 1: to put you out of line, and you're gonna pay.
- 7:52Speaker 1: At the end of the day. When I get through
- 7:54Speaker 1: on this microphone, on this TV, all these articles, when
- 7:58Speaker 1: I get through it all of that, you know what
- 7:59Speaker 1: it come down to. Because see, it ain't always been
- 8:02Speaker 1: this way for me. You know, I've been trying to
- 8:04Speaker 1: get here, trying to get that. Listen to me. It's
- 8:07Speaker 1: been me and God, and it's been the God in me.
- 8:11Speaker 1: When I woke up a few years back and I
- 8:13Speaker 1: realized that's really what it was, it changed my whole life.
- 8:18Speaker 1: It changed my whole life. Your whole life can get
- 8:21Speaker 1: changed when you realize that it's really you and God
- 8:24Speaker 1: and the God in you. Really man. People disappoint you,
- 8:28Speaker 1: You argue with people, You fall out with people, You
- 8:30Speaker 1: break up with people, You divorce people. You got people
- 8:33Speaker 1: who you thought was friends, all of a sudden you
- 8:35Speaker 1: find out they're talking about it's crazy out of here.
- 8:37Speaker 1: You've been going what's going on? What's really going on?
- 8:42Speaker 1: But that's because guess what you got all yours banked
- 8:45Speaker 1: on them. When you're gonna banking on the one thing
- 8:48Speaker 1: that you can count on. God's word ain't changing. We
- 8:51Speaker 1: got him. It's solid. If you pray, believe, work hard,
- 8:55Speaker 1: don't doubt you'll get whatever you ask for. That's a fact.
- 8:58Speaker 1: There ain't no rumor speople out here doing it every day. Now,
- 9:01Speaker 1: if you ain't trying that, listen to me. You got
- 9:04Speaker 1: it within you. Oh it is there. You just got
- 9:07Speaker 1: to use it. There is a weapon available to man
- 9:10Speaker 1: called prayer. Use that. See. I look at my life, man,
- 9:14Speaker 1: whenever I get a little shaky, I look back. Or
- 9:16Speaker 1: hey man, I ain't really talk with him too much yesterday. Oh,
- 9:20Speaker 1: tighten up. I'm just telling you real. You got a
- 9:23Speaker 1: better answer. Oh oh, oh, I know what? Oh oh
- 9:27Speaker 1: my bad, Steve. Now, Steve, I ain't winning cause they
- 9:30Speaker 1: ain't get me the loan or naw, Steve, I ain't
- 9:32Speaker 1: winning because she left me. He left me. I ain't winning, Steve,
- 9:35Speaker 1: because I got steck with these kids. I got a divorce.
- 9:38Speaker 1: They fired me. How they foreclose on my home. That's
- 9:40Speaker 1: why I ain't winning. You ain't winning cause you ain't praying.
- 9:43Speaker 1: You got the praying, believe in work. That's the key.
- 9:48Speaker 1: Come on, man, you got it within you. Oh it's there.
- 9:51Speaker 1: You just got to use it. It's just you and God,
- 9:54Speaker 1: and it's the God in you. And what y'all gonna
- 9:56Speaker 1: do about that? You're listening, Ladies and gentlemen, may have
- 10:03Speaker 1: your undivided attention. Please. This is the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:09Speaker 1: This show would be nothing without the following people. I'm
- 10:12Speaker 1: about to announce, but before I do that, let me
- 10:16Speaker 1: make sure you got your tuned right. We're talking about
- 10:20Speaker 1: triple tune power, baby, the triple ts. If you get
- 10:25Speaker 1: your tuned right, listen to me. If you start your
- 10:28Speaker 1: morning with gratitude, it will immediately affect your attitude, which
- 10:33Speaker 1: has a direct direct correlation to your altitude. You got
- 10:38Speaker 1: to get your tubes together, baby, Thank you Lord for
- 10:41Speaker 1: this day. Today is the day that the Lord has made.
- 10:43Speaker 1: Let us rejoice and be glad in it. I show
- 10:47Speaker 1: am glad that I'm in it, man, because you don't
- 10:49Speaker 1: have to be. That's a for show. Shirley Strawberry callin
- 10:53Speaker 1: for real Mole for the South Mississippi Monica Junior. They
- 10:59Speaker 1: call him kills on the birth certificate and the legend
- 11:02Speaker 1: that is nephew, Tommy Junior, What is it today? Sir?
- 11:08Speaker 1: All right? Let me ask you this man speaking of tunes,
- 11:10Speaker 1: and you talk about gratitude all the time. Is it hard?
- 11:13Speaker 1: Is it a process? And learn how to be grateful
- 11:15Speaker 1: even when it ain't going your way. You have to
- 11:19Speaker 1: train yourself to do that because quite naturally, when it's
- 11:24Speaker 1: not going good, you don't. You don't want to take
- 11:27Speaker 1: the time to be grateful. You want to take the
- 11:30Speaker 1: time to be woeful. You want to wallow in it
- 11:32Speaker 1: a little bit, you want to go old wold, Why
- 11:34Speaker 1: why me? Why me? Well, when you need to answer
- 11:37Speaker 1: to that question is why everybody? Because it happens to everybody,
- 11:42Speaker 1: it ain't just you. And if you could wrap your
- 11:44Speaker 1: mind around this thing called the process, the process that
- 11:50Speaker 1: you are going to have some ups and some downs,
- 11:54Speaker 1: some lows and some highs you're going to happen. You're
- 11:57Speaker 1: gonna have some great days, You're gonna have some days
- 11:59Speaker 1: that ain't all that good. Yea. You're gonna go through
- 12:02Speaker 1: some stretches of time that's gonna be extremely challenging, and
- 12:05Speaker 1: you're gonna go through some stretches of times that's your season.
- 12:09Speaker 1: But all of those downs always lead to up. So
- 12:14Speaker 1: when you get down, be grateful because you know He's
- 12:18Speaker 1: gonna help you survive the down to get to the up,
- 12:22Speaker 1: and he always does. Now, if you are one of
- 12:25Speaker 1: those people who choose to keep going back to the
- 12:28Speaker 1: down moment, make reference to the down point moment. Make
- 12:33Speaker 1: the down point always your your your lesson. You know
- 12:37Speaker 1: you always got to go back to that. Then you
- 12:40Speaker 1: never get to enjoy the peaks because you keep going
- 12:44Speaker 1: back down the hill. Every time God get they lift
- 12:47Speaker 1: you back up on the peak. Here you go. I
- 12:49Speaker 1: remember that time. You know they did me wrong. And
- 12:51Speaker 1: that's why I'm gonna keep talking about all these people
- 12:53Speaker 1: because they did me wrong. Were anybody doing nothing to you? Now?
- 12:56Speaker 1: What about today? Antybody doing nothing to you? Today? Have
- 13:00Speaker 1: you thought for a moment that you ought to be grateful?
- 13:03Speaker 1: But no, instead of being grateful, you get up, you
- 13:06Speaker 1: get another opportunity, and you go back down the rabbit hole. Well,
- 13:10Speaker 1: now God can't do nothing for that. Now, if he
- 13:12Speaker 1: didn't got your past it and throw it, you got
- 13:14Speaker 1: to move on. Gratitude on your low moments is nothing
- 13:19Speaker 1: but thanking God for the blessing to come and for
- 13:22Speaker 1: all he's done for you and brought you through. I
- 13:24Speaker 1: hope I answered your question, but you asked me something
- 13:27Speaker 1: my no pout whoa. I ain't even got that rope
- 13:31Speaker 1: down nowhere, and I got a big dome the question
- 13:37Speaker 1: and the answer coming up. At thirty two minutes after
- 13:40Speaker 1: the hour, we'll hear from a nephew to run that
- 13:42Speaker 1: prank back right after this. You're listening right now. The
- 13:48Speaker 1: nephew is in the building with run that prank back.
- 13:52Speaker 1: What you got for its new lunchtime date? Lunchtime date,
- 13:58Speaker 1: Let's go cat dig. Hello. Hey, I'm trying to speak

- 14:25Speaker 1: ain't no wrong with the job. Everything's cool as the job.
- 14:27Speaker 1: This this right here, man, is like what I know
- 14:30Speaker 1: this man? And it's you know, it just seems like
- 14:32Speaker 1: every single day, you know, while she's on her lunch break,
- 14:36Speaker 1: it seems like you know, you would call and and
- 14:39Speaker 1: and uh and then blocked up the whole hour of
- 14:42Speaker 1: her lunch break. And actually, you know, just be real man,
- 14:44Speaker 1: I'm just trying to come correct with you. It just
- 14:46Speaker 1: seemed like you just cut in on all the time

- 15:07Speaker 1: of all, that's my lady, Okay, I can call her
- 15:09Speaker 1: whenever the I feel like calling that. That's what I
- 15:11Speaker 1: pay for the phone, Jill. I bought that iPhone. I
- 15:14Speaker 1: could get that calling whatever. Please all right. Secondly, you
- 15:17Speaker 1: ain't got no business being with a married woman alone
- 15:21Speaker 1: at lunch. This ain't no date. You're supposed to be
- 15:23Speaker 1: at work. No, we are at work, we call saying
- 15:26Speaker 1: we call workers. You know, it seemed like half the
- 15:29Speaker 1: whole time I'm sitting in front of hub. You know,
- 15:31Speaker 1: we're supposed to be be having lunch together and she's talking
- 15:33Speaker 1: to you the whole UK What what's your name be?

- 15:39Speaker 1: work right now? Huh yeah, I mean yeah, I'm here
- 15:41Speaker 1: at the job and y'all work in the same flow.
- 15:43Speaker 1: Because I can think they come and see you keep
- 15:44Speaker 1: to jump off way way different for you straight up. Okay,
- 15:48Speaker 1: so let let me ask you something, man, what is
- 15:50Speaker 1: a big deal understanding? Okay? You look like you don't
- 15:53Speaker 1: see her. You look like you don't see her when
- 15:55Speaker 1: she gets home, you know, So why is this so
- 15:58Speaker 1: important that you waste the hold or of lunshon holding up?
- 16:02Speaker 1: An't wasted? Ain't way watch month, I'm talking to my lady. Okay,
- 16:05Speaker 1: you understand that. Why don't you go out and get
- 16:08Speaker 1: and then you ain't got to worry about sitting up
- 16:10Speaker 1: in front of me. Lady, that's my wife. I walked
- 16:12Speaker 1: down the aisle with that. We got kids, we got
- 16:15Speaker 1: a house, We take care that he helped me hold
- 16:17Speaker 1: it down on this You you you ain't you know
- 16:21Speaker 1: it's like you you don't ever want to come in
- 16:24Speaker 1: and do but they got stuff always want to come
- 16:27Speaker 1: in and somebody else's wife, and why why won't you
- 16:29Speaker 1: do this? Take take this advice and see what it works.
- 16:33Speaker 1: Have it works for you. Go to club, church, library,
- 16:37Speaker 1: grocery stole, wherever the find your day, and you get
- 16:41Speaker 1: you a chick. You gave her for a minute, you
- 16:44Speaker 1: call her for a minute, you rotman suff for me.
- 16:47Speaker 1: And that's what real men do. You know what I'm saying,
- 16:48Speaker 1: That's what I did. That's how I got my Rachel's.
- 16:52Speaker 1: That's stuff that's not hard. You're trying to sit up
- 16:54Speaker 1: there in front of lunch with us every day for
- 16:57Speaker 1: the past year. I'll tell you what. It may not
- 17:01Speaker 1: be today, it may man be the mark, but soon
- 17:04Speaker 1: soon you're gonna see me me. You're gonna have none
- 17:06Speaker 1: of this phone conversation, just gonna be a face to
- 17:08Speaker 1: face through all of Say, man, I ain't trying to
- 17:13Speaker 1: come between y'all at all. All I'm done, Okay, like
- 17:17Speaker 1: I'm saying, I'm not trying to come between y'all. I'm
- 17:19Speaker 1: just saying, it's every day you call it, man, what
- 17:21Speaker 1: do you want life the post to talk to every
- 17:25Speaker 1: guy day? That's what a real dude. You know what?
- 17:28Speaker 1: I'm most at that because you was You ain't no
- 17:30Speaker 1: real all you know about it trying to hilight some street.
- 17:34Speaker 1: You don't know what it is to put it in
- 17:36Speaker 1: work like a real man dude, to actually hold down
- 17:38Speaker 1: a home, pay the bills, everything, the family, the kids in,
- 17:42Speaker 1: fixing the yards and fences. And you don't know nothing
- 17:45Speaker 1: about that. All you know about it, you know, roast
- 17:48Speaker 1: wife can't even go to work without like you, trying
- 17:51Speaker 1: to step ahad and don't mean no guy because but
- 17:54Speaker 1: that's okay. Like I promise you, I'm gonna be there.
- 17:57Speaker 1: You're gonna see me, and I'm gonna see you. You know,
- 17:59Speaker 1: I'll tell you this is how this gonna go. It
- 18:02Speaker 1: may not be the night, but it's definitely not gonna
- 18:03Speaker 1: go past tomorrow. Between now and then, you're gonna see
- 18:06Speaker 1: me and I'm gonna see you, and I can't. What's

- 20:48Speaker 1: peace though in peace, all in the middle of my
- 20:52Speaker 1: Caesar salad. He you're listening stry morning show, it is
- 21:00Speaker 1: time to ask the clo. This one is from Nadia
- 21:05Speaker 1: and Tuscaloosa. Nadia writes, my college bestie and I fell
- 21:08Speaker 1: out a year ago over my ex. They became the
- 21:12Speaker 1: best of friends all of a sudden, and it bothered me.
- 21:15Speaker 1: My husband saw her recently and asked what was really
- 21:18Speaker 1: going on between us? And she told him. He's mad,
- 21:22Speaker 1: thinking I still want my ex. How do I convince
- 21:25Speaker 1: him that's not the case here? Well, you know what, Nadia,
- 21:29Speaker 1: you kind of messed it up because you know, you
- 21:34Speaker 1: and your college bestie fell out over your ex, but
- 21:39Speaker 1: you got a husband. See you say that for last,
- 21:43Speaker 1: So I don't see really was you give a damn
- 21:46Speaker 1: what your ex to do and your bestie? But when
- 21:50Speaker 1: your bestie told your husband, now your husband going with damn?
- 21:53Speaker 1: What you mad about that for? And he's correct, find
- 21:57Speaker 1: you something else to be mad about? Nadia? That ain't it?
- 22:02Speaker 1: That ain't it? So how does she convince her husband
- 22:06Speaker 1: that she doesn't still want her ax? You know what
- 22:09Speaker 1: I'm through with this. I don't care what nobody do.
- 22:11Speaker 1: I was more upset with my friend than anything because
- 22:15Speaker 1: she knew if I can't, I want her to take
- 22:18Speaker 1: on my feeling I can't stand him. I want her
- 22:21Speaker 1: to not stand him and for her to be my friend.
- 22:24Speaker 1: And then all of a sudden becomes that's what I'm
- 22:26Speaker 1: upset about. I don't give a damn about him. That's facts. Okay,
- 22:30Speaker 1: all right, okay, that part right there? All right, here
- 22:33Speaker 1: we go. Brielle hate who I hate? Yes, hate with me,
- 22:39Speaker 1: hate with me that Brielle and Pensacola says, I called
- 22:48Speaker 1: my husband's phone several times while he was down in
- 22:51Speaker 1: our basement because I needed his help to flip our mattress.
- 22:55Speaker 1: He said he missed my calls because his ringer is off.
- 22:58Speaker 1: I noticed it's been off for a week, and he
- 23:01Speaker 1: said it's his phone, and uh, not up for discussion.
- 23:05Speaker 1: Why did he get so defensive and rude? I don't know, yeh,
- 23:10Speaker 1: talk about this phone? What's doing that he downed in
- 23:14Speaker 1: the basement and phones? What's he doing? You know? Is
- 23:17Speaker 1: that where his man came that maybe he was down
- 23:19Speaker 1: there getting some peace your mattresses. You know, you ain't
- 23:23Speaker 1: said you want to do nothing with the mattress. You
- 23:25Speaker 1: just needed some help flipping the mattress. Now all he
- 23:29Speaker 1: is flipping it on, flips on the mattress. Now you
- 23:32Speaker 1: want him come here and flip the damn mattress. I
- 23:35Speaker 1: don't really know that he's doing nothing wrong. His phone
- 23:38Speaker 1: is off and but yeah at home, but Steve, he said,
- 23:43Speaker 1: it's his phone and it's not up for discussion. You mean, really,
- 23:48Speaker 1: that was a stupid thing to see. I just say, hey, baby,
- 23:53Speaker 1: I'm sorry, I've been cutting it off. I'll cut it on.
- 23:55Speaker 1: I'll cut it back on my bad. Sometimes just don't
- 23:58Speaker 1: want to hear a ring, you know, So I just
- 24:00Speaker 1: cut it off. I was watching the game or something.
- 24:02Speaker 1: I ain't want to be disturbed. That would have been
- 24:04Speaker 1: your answer. The dog in my phone? I ain't for discussion.
- 24:08Speaker 1: Oh it but it is though, Oh yes, what is
- 24:11Speaker 1: see that's what you don't we're discussing it now. Yes,
- 24:16Speaker 1: so she said, why he gets so defensive should have
- 24:19Speaker 1: been his job and stop talking about that phone. He
- 24:21Speaker 1: got to stop talking about that phone. We're talking about
- 24:25Speaker 1: about that phone. Why we got to answer the phone?
- 24:30Speaker 1: Answer the call because she's I'm in the bedroom trying
- 24:34Speaker 1: to flip the mattress. Well, let me ask you a question, Tom, Yes,
- 24:39Speaker 1: has someone ever called you that's in your house called
- 24:42Speaker 1: you in your house? Yes, they have, and it gets
- 24:46Speaker 1: on my nerves. You know where I'm at, and he
- 24:50Speaker 1: gets too. But when she called, I gossa picked this
- 24:54Speaker 1: phone up. Okay, thank you, sir. Nothing really, but it
- 25:00Speaker 1: don't matter what They don't want what you're doing back there.
- 25:04Speaker 1: I ain't doing nothing. I'm gonna saying I've been doing TV.
- 25:07Speaker 1: What what is it? We're moving on an argument at
- 25:14Speaker 1: the house as anonymous, and Flint says, I'm married, but
- 25:24Speaker 1: I've been sexting with the man that's younger. I send
- 25:28Speaker 1: him nudes. I send him some nudes and he said
- 25:30Speaker 1: he wants me bear down there, so I went and
- 25:34Speaker 1: got it waxed. I have never been completely bear before.
- 25:39Speaker 1: So how do I explain this to my husband I
- 25:43Speaker 1: have I don't. I have no idea. I don't know
- 25:48Speaker 1: what to tell you. I don't know what you've been doing.
- 25:51Speaker 1: I don't know what. I don't know if you know
- 25:52Speaker 1: what the ladies he is. I don't care. It ain't
- 25:54Speaker 1: really my business what you do down now. But I
- 25:56Speaker 1: you know, I don't know how you know. You don't
- 25:59Speaker 1: know what a husband gonna say, though, Oh, okay, we're
- 26:05Speaker 1: doing it like that now, Oh oh we bad rasslet
- 26:10Speaker 1: it depending on how old he is, you know, because
- 26:13Speaker 1: she says she texted sexy with a younger one and
- 26:16Speaker 1: he want to see it down there. Now. Obviously y'all old,
- 26:19Speaker 1: cause shavin ain't in y'all's manual of things to do.
- 26:22Speaker 1: So you know, if you old people, it you know,
- 26:25Speaker 1: just you know, looks a little different. I would assume
- 26:28Speaker 1: I don't know what's going on down there, no mo,
- 26:30Speaker 1: like I used to. You know, I used to know
- 26:32Speaker 1: what the trends was. I don't really know trends no more. Yeah,
- 26:38Speaker 1: you know, you ain't the scene but one in a while. Yeah,
- 26:42Speaker 1: I don't really know about trends, no mo. So I
- 26:45Speaker 1: don't know what they're doing and what they ain't doing.
- 26:48Speaker 1: I was still no, no, no, no. When I was
- 26:53Speaker 1: out there, it was a new thing. Was just you know,
- 26:56Speaker 1: flipping clean, you know, everything machine, everything was you know.
- 27:00Speaker 1: I was there for the change. I don't know if
- 27:03Speaker 1: things have gone back or nothing like that. I wish
- 27:06Speaker 1: I could help you, but I don't know. Like I say,
- 27:09Speaker 1: the treats, yeah, I transition, Yeah, I saw the transition,
- 27:14Speaker 1: and I appreciated it too, because it just means things
- 27:18Speaker 1: a lot more, you know, present easy, You know, it
- 27:22Speaker 1: was lack of confusion. You know all this here but
- 27:26Speaker 1: that you know I've done one, you know just what's different.
- 27:30Speaker 1: You know, I thank the Lord for it too, you know,
- 27:34Speaker 1: glory in your life, boy, God that I lived, you know,
- 27:39Speaker 1: from I must admit, from growing up in segregation, what
- 27:46Speaker 1: to waxing. I just want to thank the Lord that
- 27:49Speaker 1: I saw all the changes. I didn't have a sale
- 27:52Speaker 1: phone until I was damned then thirty. Thank you Lord,
- 27:54Speaker 1: I saw all the change right, the situation right to
- 28:00Speaker 1: see it. So that's all. Yeah, we'll march on this
- 28:04Speaker 1: though I don't come across the bridge. I'dn't done seven
- 28:08Speaker 1: times round. The justice sent it without ya. I haven't
- 28:11Speaker 1: done all of this. I have set down at the
- 28:17Speaker 1: counter downtown at Christy, but my MoMA, white folks didn't
- 28:20Speaker 1: feed us, and we set fire to the place. I
- 28:23Speaker 1: was there for that. Yes, you're not gonna do it.
- 28:26Speaker 1: I broke out of one day and rose and blooms
- 28:28Speaker 1: and stole the green leather jacket full sides it's too big.
- 28:32Speaker 1: I was definitely well, you know, I was there for that.
- 28:37Speaker 1: Sexual revolution to that I was, I was transition. Yes,
- 28:43Speaker 1: that scared me at first. I didn't know what it was.
- 28:46Speaker 1: S listen coming up, sorry about that to our audience.
- 28:52Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, we'll have

- 41:33Speaker 1: regular knees. She let the kind of when she got

- 41:43Speaker 1: in your wife does she smokes? She always had that. Man,
- 41:57Speaker 1: I don't know that I do this route, but I'm
- 42:02Speaker 1: gonna just give you some facts about men who have
- 42:07Speaker 1: ugly WIY. Fact Number one, divorce rate is higher. It's
- 42:16Speaker 1: just how you got to get out. You know, as
- 42:19Speaker 1: soon as they present you with papers, you're gonna sign
- 42:24Speaker 1: another thing. I found out a man with ugly wife
- 42:27Speaker 1: got real fine WIY just shopping in the gym that
- 42:31Speaker 1: you lit overweight people men who have ugly wise, here's
- 42:39Speaker 1: the biggest fact I think about men with ugly one. Okay,
- 42:44Speaker 1: men hate the night. We got here and get in
- 42:51Speaker 1: this big the only thing they hate more than the night.
- 43:00Speaker 1: In the morning they wake up and look she's still
- 43:08Speaker 1: yeah man, and get mad. This helpful still here. She
- 43:17Speaker 1: would run away by now yeah, do you go to
- 43:22Speaker 1: the mall with her? You don't give a damn wet
- 43:25Speaker 1: yet ain't nobody as I left all the dam she's
- 43:35Speaker 1: still here shop once again. You guys nailed it once again.
- 43:44Speaker 1: All right, that's it for comedy relett r. We'll be
- 43:46Speaker 1: back with nephew Timmy's praying phone call right after this.
- 43:49Speaker 1: You're listening morning show coming up at the top of
- 43:54Speaker 1: the hour, right about four minutes after today's strawberry letter.
- 43:58Speaker 1: My subject is he really thinks I took advantage of him.
- 44:02Speaker 1: He really thinks I took advantage of him. But right
- 44:06Speaker 1: now the nephew is here with today's praying phone call.
- 44:09Speaker 1: What do you have for us today? Naf You can't
- 44:14Speaker 1: come back to church. You can't come back to church. Hey,
- 44:27Speaker 1: I understand you and the Lord got a relationship, but
- 44:29Speaker 1: away here. You can't come back to this church though,
- 44:34Speaker 1: Come on, can't Let's get it. Hello, I'm trying to
- 44:40Speaker 1: reach Sister short Reads Mayfield, Deacon Bobs from the from
- 44:45Speaker 1: the church. From from our church. Yes, yes, ma'am, okay,
- 44:52Speaker 1: from from from can you hear me? Good? The old
- 44:56Speaker 1: phone on work? We're good? Yeah, my phone? Okay, okay,
- 45:00Speaker 1: that I called it. The deacon board didn't had a
- 45:04Speaker 1: meeting as well as uh pastors and uh they didn't
- 45:08Speaker 1: have a meeting. That come to the understanding that, uh,
- 45:12Speaker 1: they're gonna ask you to not come to church right
- 45:16Speaker 1: now because about that the boards of your Eric and
- 45:20Speaker 1: James being in jail the way there is and want
- 45:23Speaker 1: to want you to just stop. I don't know if
- 45:26Speaker 1: they're gonna suspend you from church right now, but they
- 45:29Speaker 1: they think it put a bad look on the church.
- 45:33Speaker 1: My kids being in jail put a bad look on
- 45:36Speaker 1: the church. Well, that's what that's what's what the that's
- 45:39Speaker 1: what they come up with. Now, we didn't had to
- 45:40Speaker 1: meet with the deacon board and with passing stoves. I
- 45:43Speaker 1: don't understand why y'all have a meeting about my kids
- 45:46Speaker 1: in the church. What my kids got to do with
- 45:49Speaker 1: the church. Well, what we're trying to do is show
- 45:52Speaker 1: a good example to the youth that we got there. Okay,
- 45:55Speaker 1: you can show a good example about me being there
- 45:58Speaker 1: paying my times an offer. Well, that was another thing
- 46:01Speaker 1: that's been brought down attention that we're gonna be calling
- 46:04Speaker 1: a lot of members about it. People not paying the
- 46:06Speaker 1: tie the way they fold I pay my task. I
- 46:08Speaker 1: don't know. I don't know who told you that, Deacon Bars.
- 46:11Speaker 1: I don't even know, first of all, who you are,
- 46:13Speaker 1: and I'm not trying to be mean to you, and
- 46:16Speaker 1: I don't I don't even understand why you how you
- 46:18Speaker 1: even got my phone number. I pay my tis, I
- 46:21Speaker 1: pay my offering. Go on your computer at the church,
- 46:25Speaker 1: call your secretary or whoever. Let me let me, let
- 46:28Speaker 1: me ask you this just fee. Do you pay your
- 46:30Speaker 1: ties according to what you make? Yes? I do check
- 46:35Speaker 1: the books. What what now? What it is? We can't
- 46:38Speaker 1: check the books that we don't know exactly what you make?
- 46:41Speaker 1: Is what I'm saying. What I make is my destiness
- 46:46Speaker 1: between me and Jesus. I give him his ten percent.
- 46:50Speaker 1: And that's how Mars he'll need to know. I understand
- 46:54Speaker 1: exactly where you're coming from, but not. The main issue
- 46:56Speaker 1: on table is about the boys and and being you know,
- 47:01Speaker 1: disrupted the way to hell. They don't want that to
- 47:03Speaker 1: be to bleed over to the youth. Quiet, Wait a minute,
- 47:06Speaker 1: Wait a minute. And first of all, I would appreciate
- 47:09Speaker 1: if you would have a pastor to tell me this hisself.
- 47:11Speaker 1: And then second of all, if somebody kids is having
- 47:15Speaker 1: trouble in the world or whatever y'all supposed to pray
- 47:18Speaker 1: for him, not put them at the church, or they Mama, Well,
- 47:21Speaker 1: I'm I'm we're gonna we're gonna pray for and we're
- 47:24Speaker 1: gonna pray for you too, but we don't want them
- 47:27Speaker 1: shared over to the youth that we got that doing
- 47:29Speaker 1: good with that. Well, I'm gonna keep coming. Y'all can't
- 47:32Speaker 1: stop me from coming to the church. I'm gonna keep coming.
- 47:36Speaker 1: So I don't know who you're talking to. And you
- 47:39Speaker 1: tell a pastor to call me hitself and tell me
- 47:41Speaker 1: I can't come to Heal and you have nobody calling
- 47:45Speaker 1: me telling me that I can't come to Hell that
- 47:48Speaker 1: is a free church. I'm gonna get the pass and
- 47:51Speaker 1: called up as you get the pastor to call me,
- 47:53Speaker 1: because you have no business calling me telling me that
- 47:56Speaker 1: I can't come to God's house. I don't want you
- 47:59Speaker 1: to get into role with me. I'm not getting I'm
- 48:03Speaker 1: not getting angry with nobody. Did I work. I don't
- 48:05Speaker 1: work eighteen sixteen hours today. I don't have half nobody
- 48:09Speaker 1: calling me telling me that I can't come to a
- 48:11Speaker 1: church that I pay my cars and offering it not
- 48:14Speaker 1: that I own the church, I pay my cars because
- 48:16Speaker 1: that's that's due to God. But y'all really making me
- 48:19Speaker 1: upset by telling me I can't come now because of
- 48:22Speaker 1: my kids in their troubles. Where was you this past son?
- 48:27Speaker 1: To you? Wasn't there? I wasn't that church because I
- 48:29Speaker 1: had over stuff? And why is that in your your bill? Now?
- 48:32Speaker 1: There you go being an up roll with me again.
- 48:35Speaker 1: I don't know who this is. How could you call
- 48:38Speaker 1: somebody about church busts over the phone. This don't make sense.
- 48:42Speaker 1: Chise of Mayville. Hello, Yeah, one more thing. This nephew
- 48:48Speaker 1: timent from the Steve Harvey Morning Ship just got I
- 48:55Speaker 1: got you y I'm like, who is this guy telling
- 49:17Speaker 1: about church being? You know what I like about you? Though?
- 49:22Speaker 1: Ain't nobody gonna keep you out the Lord's house. You're
- 49:26Speaker 1: gonna show up and show out every Sunday. Every Sunday
- 49:30Speaker 1: I'm coming to church. We thank you everybody. Let me
- 49:36Speaker 1: ask you something. That's the baddest radio show in the land.
- 49:42Speaker 1: Now do you even have to ask me that? To
- 49:44Speaker 1: Steve Harvey more than itself? If I tell you you
- 49:50Speaker 1: can't come back and you just can't come back, that
- 49:53Speaker 1: you theydn't like it, though. Are you to tell I
- 49:57Speaker 1: am the appointed person that called you when you can't
- 50:01Speaker 1: come back? That's why I came. And the Lord don't
- 50:06Speaker 1: call you on this either. It's officials at the church. Okay,
- 50:11Speaker 1: y'all gonna start respecting these church officials. Okay, ask you this.
- 50:15Speaker 1: Do they really put people out of the church. Can
- 50:17Speaker 1: you get put out of the church. Yeah, you can't
- 50:19Speaker 1: get put out of the church. Yeah you can put yes,
- 50:21Speaker 1: you can. You come in here with that foolishness, they
- 50:24Speaker 1: will ask you not to come back. You can get
- 50:25Speaker 1: put out on time. And you're right. I don't even
- 50:27Speaker 1: know why my sister got put out. I didn't want to.
- 50:32Speaker 1: I just thought about it. What Yeah, we can't for what?
- 50:37Speaker 1: Oh oh my gosh, my siters did too much at
- 50:39Speaker 1: the church. You know, all that running down the house,
- 50:41Speaker 1: you know, out down the out, screaming and everything. They
- 50:44Speaker 1: told her your ass can't come back no more. But
- 50:46Speaker 1: she come through. Not doing announcement communicated. You don't get
- 50:52Speaker 1: the you don't get the spirit doing the announcement. Yeah,
- 50:55Speaker 1: we got doing announcement. You don't know. But see this
- 50:58Speaker 1: right here, this was about this lady and her boy
- 51:00Speaker 1: has been in jail. That's what we don't want. I'll
- 51:02Speaker 1: let it. You know you don't. We don't want you
- 51:04Speaker 1: mixing with other kids. But that okay, now you're not
- 51:08Speaker 1: coming up with you, all right, nephew, I'm next Strawberry Letters.

- 52:06Speaker 1: You go, there you go, that's the one. Yes, all right,
- 52:11Speaker 1: thank you, nephew. Subject he really thinks I took advantage
- 52:14Speaker 1: of him. Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm in my late thirties
- 52:17Speaker 1: and I'm dating a man that I met at church.
- 52:19Speaker 1: I found out that he talked to our pastor about me,
- 52:23Speaker 1: and the pastor Hennett that he might be ready to propose.
- 52:26Speaker 1: I got excited and decided it was time to take
- 52:30Speaker 1: our relationship to the next level, meaning it was time
- 52:33Speaker 1: for sex. We have been together for six months, and
- 52:36Speaker 1: we were friends for two years before we started dating.
- 52:39Speaker 1: We haven't had sex, but we sleep in the same
- 52:42Speaker 1: bed a lot, and I like to sleep in my underwear.
- 52:45Speaker 1: I must admit that he is a strong willed man
- 52:48Speaker 1: because I look great in my underwear and I am irresistible.
- 52:53Speaker 1: We have also taken a few showers together, and again
- 52:57Speaker 1: he never made a move on me. He says, you
- 53:00Speaker 1: ain't right, or you play too much to let me
- 53:02Speaker 1: know he's turned on by me. This past weekend, he
- 53:06Speaker 1: stayed at my house and I slipped into some of
- 53:08Speaker 1: my sexy lingerie before we went to bed. I told
- 53:11Speaker 1: him that it was time for us to explore each
- 53:13Speaker 1: other intimately, and he said that in due time we would.
- 53:18Speaker 1: But when he lay next to me in the bed,
- 53:19Speaker 1: his body said something else. I initiated some pregame activities
- 53:24Speaker 1: and we had the most romantic intimate experience ever. I
- 53:28Speaker 1: was relieved and very happy happy afterward because I wanted
- 53:33Speaker 1: to make sure he knew what he was doing in
- 53:35Speaker 1: the bedroom. The next morning, he woke me up and
- 53:38Speaker 1: said we needed to talk. He told me that I
- 53:41Speaker 1: was too forward, and I seduced him after he told
- 53:44Speaker 1: me needed to wait to have sex. Now, the beautiful
- 53:47Speaker 1: night I thought we had was ruined. He told me
- 53:50Speaker 1: that he thought I was the one for him, but
- 53:54Speaker 1: now he's not sure if we're compatible. I reminded him
- 53:58Speaker 1: that he never set stop and it takes two people
- 54:01Speaker 1: to do what we did. Do you think I took
- 54:03Speaker 1: advantage of him? Please help? All right? I don't, necessarily no,
- 54:08Speaker 1: think you took advantage of him of him, I think
- 54:11Speaker 1: you took advantage of the situation. And I'm gonna go here. First,
- 54:16Speaker 1: you mentioned a few things in the letter. You mentioned
- 54:20Speaker 1: that first you met him at church, then you found
- 54:26Speaker 1: out that he had talked to the pastor about you,
- 54:29Speaker 1: and no matter how hard you've tried, he told you
- 54:32Speaker 1: that you guys need to wait. And what this kind
- 54:35Speaker 1: of says to me, is that, as unusual as this
- 54:39Speaker 1: seems in these sexually promiscuous times, that this man is
- 54:44Speaker 1: trying to do the right thing by God and not
- 54:47Speaker 1: fornicate with you. I mean, I think he really wants
- 54:50Speaker 1: to wait. He's told you that he really wants to
- 54:53Speaker 1: wait until marriage to have sex with you. You guys
- 54:56Speaker 1: are playing with fire, though. I gotta tell you that
- 54:59Speaker 1: he has a hughes you're being too forward and seducing him.
- 55:02Speaker 1: But I don't understand what he thinks is going to
- 55:06Speaker 1: happen if you guys are sleeping in the same bed,
- 55:09Speaker 1: if you're showering together, and if you're wearing sexy underwear.
- 55:13Speaker 1: I mean, all of that leads to sex, doesn't it. Yes,
- 55:17Speaker 1: it does every time for me, Every every time, right.
- 55:22Speaker 1: I mean, he's strong willed, You're right about that to
- 55:27Speaker 1: be able to resist all of that most of the time.
- 55:30Speaker 1: But that's why I think you know that maybe he's
- 55:33Speaker 1: trying to be right by God. You guys have just
- 55:36Speaker 1: been together for about six months as a couple, so
- 55:39Speaker 1: I think you need to talk more and find out
- 55:41Speaker 1: what's going on with him before you push this any further.
- 55:45Speaker 1: It sounds to me like you know, he might want
- 55:47Speaker 1: to take it slow and make you his first lady
- 55:49Speaker 1: one day, but right now he's just not ready. Steve,
- 55:53Speaker 1: That's what I think. I see so much mo in this.
- 55:58Speaker 1: Of course you do. Let's go on, let's not let's
- 56:02Speaker 1: not break this one down. Let's tear this one down. Okay,
- 56:06Speaker 1: I remember late thirties. I'm dating a man I met
- 56:09Speaker 1: at church. Found out he talked to your pastor about
- 56:13Speaker 1: me and the past to hint it that he might
- 56:15Speaker 1: be ready to propose. So now you got excited and
- 56:20Speaker 1: decided it was time to take the relationship to the
- 56:22Speaker 1: next level, meaning it was time for sex. Let's just
- 56:26Speaker 1: review this right here. You're dating a man that you
- 56:29Speaker 1: met at church. This man goes to the pastor, obviously
- 56:35Speaker 1: saying something to the pastor. Your pastor hints to you
- 56:39Speaker 1: this man might be ready to propose. You got excited,
- 56:43Speaker 1: and then you decided it was time to have sex. Well,
- 56:47Speaker 1: what church, y'all go to? What did the pastor say?
- 56:54Speaker 1: I want to know the conversation you in the pastor head.
- 56:58Speaker 1: Right after that, you said it's time to have some sex.
- 57:03Speaker 1: This is a great church. Now you haven't been together
- 57:09Speaker 1: for six months and y'all been friends with two years
- 57:11Speaker 1: for y'all start of date, and you ain't had no sex.
- 57:14Speaker 1: But we sleep in the same bed a lot, and
- 57:17Speaker 1: I like to sleep in my underwear. I must admit
- 57:21Speaker 1: that he's a strong willed man because I look great
- 57:24Speaker 1: in my underwear and I'm irresistible. Now, one of these
- 57:27Speaker 1: statements can't be true. You're gonna go. One of these
- 57:34Speaker 1: statements ain't no way in hell can be true? And
- 57:39Speaker 1: which one? Do you think? You're sleeping your underway? You
- 57:41Speaker 1: like sleeping your underwear. Okay, that's true. I look great
- 57:46Speaker 1: in my underwear and I'm irresistible. But he's sleeping the
- 57:52Speaker 1: bed and he don't touch your ass on some of
- 57:56Speaker 1: these statements ain't true. All right, we're gonna have part
- 57:58Speaker 1: two of Steve's three at twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 58:06Speaker 1: Today's Strawberry Letter. Subject he really thinks I took advantage
- 58:09Speaker 1: of him. Uh, we'll be back right after this. You're
- 58:13Speaker 1: listening to show, all right, Steve, come on, let's recap
- 58:18Speaker 1: today's Strawberry letter. He really thinks I took advantage of him.
- 58:23Speaker 1: That's a subject. Well, that ain't high. I see it.
- 58:27Speaker 1: You met dating a man. The church known him for
- 58:30Speaker 1: two years. You all you found out that he went
- 58:34Speaker 1: in and talked to the past about you, and it
- 58:37Speaker 1: pastor came back and told you he thinked he ready
- 58:40Speaker 1: to propose. So right after the conversation with the past
- 58:43Speaker 1: and y'all church members, now this your spiritual leader, shepherd,
- 58:46Speaker 1: you just got through talking to him, and right after
- 58:48Speaker 1: that conversation you thought we stand for us has sick.
- 58:53Speaker 1: I don't know what the pastor said to you. I
- 58:56Speaker 1: don't know what he said to the past and I
- 58:59Speaker 1: don't know what church this is, but I would be
- 59:02Speaker 1: very interested in being a member. Just just right off
- 59:06Speaker 1: the dribble. Sounds like a church I could easily just
- 59:10Speaker 1: go to if you whatever you want. Okay, we started dating.
- 59:16Speaker 1: We haven't had sex, but we're sleeping the same bed
- 59:18Speaker 1: a lot. I like to sleep in my underwear. I
- 59:22Speaker 1: must admit he's a strong, wild man because I look
- 59:26Speaker 1: great in my underwear and I am irresistible man. Well, well, well,
- 59:34Speaker 1: somebody ain't staying all the damn facts that I'm just standing,
- 59:41Speaker 1: you know, not checked it down or don't stop that.
- 59:43Speaker 1: We've also taken a few showers together, and again, he
- 59:47Speaker 1: never made a move on you. You just said you
- 59:49Speaker 1: was irresistible. Now unless you taking showers in that same
- 59:55Speaker 1: underwear you're sleeping in, I'm assuming all naked. Yes, and
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: then he'll say to me, you ain't right. You played
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: too much to let me know he's turned on. Well,
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: this past weekend, he stayed at your house. You slipped
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: in some of your sexy laundry before you went to bed.
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: You told him it's time for us to explore each
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: other intimately, and he said, didn't do time. We would
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: excuse me. But when he laid next to me in
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: the bed, his body said something else. I know it
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: did not mind is screaming at this point, it's no
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: longer talking. I'm I'm hauling at myself. Steve say, man,
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: it's stupid, Steve. You see what I'm dying. He didn't, Steve. Steve,
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: not the whistle blowing, because he can whistle you yeah, Steve.
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: But when he lay next to me in his bed,
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: his body said something else. Then she initiated some pregame
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: activities and we had the most romantic intimate experience ever.
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: I was relieved and very happy after which because I
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: wanted to make sure he knew what he was doing
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: in the bedroom. This is a key line to what
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: I'm about to get to. I wanted to make sure
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: he knew what he was doing in the bedroom. The
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: next morning, he woke me up and said we need
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: to talk. He told me I was too forward, and
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: I seduced him after he told me we needed to
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: wait to have sex. Not a beautiful night I thought
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: I had was ruined. He told me he thought I
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: was the one for him, but now I'm not sure
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: if we're compatible. All right, now, let me tell you
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: what happened. Shirley's absolutely correct. The dude was on some
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: straight spiritual stuff. He thought he was getting something a
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: little bit more hard, a little bit more pure than
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: what he had last night. Because you was in there,
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: you said, I wanted to make sure he knew what
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: he was doing in the bedroom. Might as well put
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: in parentheses, because I damn show du see see see
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: this how I read these letters. I wanted to make
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: sure he knew what he was doing in the bedroom
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: because parentheses, I damn show du And you showed him too,
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: But she showed him too much. So now she in't here,
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: just doing way too damn much. He can't even hand it.
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: Oh he trying to he performing, but you doing too
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: damn much. You in't here? You you you in here?
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: You just good? What did you do? You're the scared demand?
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: Now you too damn much for him? Wow to one man,
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: but not enough for two? That gummi? Who is you?
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: And what is she to you? You too damn much?
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: All right? You told me I thought I was one
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: for him, but now he didn't shoe if you're compatible? Yeah,
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: I told him. You didn't tell me to stop here.
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: He couldn't use too much, he couldn't stay. Stop you
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: running in here playing tag by your dad? So tag?
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: I mean even the restling ring. You tagging, bringing yourself

- 1:04:18Speaker 1: the nicknames, we all went to school with people we
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: knew the nickname, and sometimes we didn't know that damn
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: real name, but name the nickname didn't match the personality.
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: Steve with him still with him. For instance, we all
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: knew somebody in school named doll Baby, But what's the what?
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: But she look like a doll baby. Ain't looking like
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: a doll baby in years? In years and I'm talking
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: in years. Yeah, baby, school somebody named Speedy Speedy, but
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: his walk real slow. Jay, You do the beginning to
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: all of them, and I had the call on it.
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: How we talk about nicknames? Everybody got somebody who knows
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: somebody that's got nicknames, but the nickname don't match the personality.
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: How about somebody the name is smile Steve, but what
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: ain't got a two finish here? All smile smile? When
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: the school with the person his nickname? For years, everybody
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: called him books Books stopped going to school in the
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: seventh grade. Books Books ain't been to school since seth grade.
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: All yeah, what y'all caring them for? They called books
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: though nickname, that their nickname, but they don't match the person.
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: That nickname is slim fat as way four hundred pounds.
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: He was slim in junior high. He bed ridden a
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: four hundred heavy sim I know how about this some
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: nickname nickname? His nickname all through the school was cash Money,
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: broke his hel the opposite. I love this nickname. And
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: in last but not least, anybody would look in front
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: of that name, ain't little at all? No, No, because
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: they did. They started that in the seventies and eighties,
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: Little John, Little Mike, live by wild Little Wayne. George
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: Wallace got an aunt he called white Girl. Problem is
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: ain't nobody in his family light? He even lighted one
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: George Waller lights. Wonder if everybody didn't family car him read?
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: I thank you guys, nicknames. I love You're listening all right?
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: So guys, here's a question for you. Do you have
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: a hiding place in your home to just have a
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: few minutes alone? You know? I mean everybody should have someplace,
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: some little getaway place that they can have some me time.
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: For instance, some women like to have what they call
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: a she shed or a small room that they can
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: read in or just chill in. I you know what,
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: I love the bathroom. Men usually go into the garage
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: or their man cave or the basement or someplace. Do
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: you take an extended break in your home hiding place?
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: Do you do it every day? Is the question? Or
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: does your family know not to disturb you when you're
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: in your favorite room or your hiding place. Come on, Steve,
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: I know you take time for yourself. Yeah, always done that.
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: I'll go. I'll go to San Diego. You lead a house. Yeah,
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: the hell out can't follow me down now, Damn, grandkids
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: know how to use the elevating everything. I'll be Damn.
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: I'm going to Sandy Eggles. It's beautiful there. I don't
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: care if it's just they're not there. Clearly you got one. Yeah,
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: I loved. I will be in my bathroom for our words,
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: ours in the bathroom, in the bath because I have
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: a TV in there, and you know I do my makeup,
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: you know. Yeah, I don't mean the water. You don't
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: mean the toilet. No, no, no, I don't spend most
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: of my time. I spent most of my time in
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: the band. No no, no, not there. I just part. Yes,
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: that's separate with the band. I got my TV right
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: in front of the toilet and a computer. Now that's
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: how you go from Now, that's how you. I don't
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: miss nothing goes when I'm watching the game, I just
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: get I'm going in the bathroom. It's on the wall,
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: right in front of you. Yeah, I ain't done that
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: up a little high where you can keep your head up.
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: You don't want to look even keep your head or
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: be digestive tracking more open the slight little What about
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: you tell me I'm in my theater I can get
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: away from Did you hear that rich as? Yeah? Yeah, yeah.
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: Now you said a rich ass statement. And I ain't
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: saying that. You said, my kids on my grand baby's
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: on the elevator. I ain't saying nothing about your elevator
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: in your house. I ain't even saying I was going
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: to because I ain't going go ahead, teeth. I thought
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: I had it limited. Okay, all right, well my past
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: his elevator on my theater. Hey, junior, which one of
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: your rooms in your house is your theater? Yeah, let's
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: hear from the poet. What I had to do is
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: take some some drapes and put them on the side
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: of the TV. Make my ass the theater with promoting.
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: I'm gonna make a theater. Hold on, y'all, come out
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: to kitchen. Drap's gonna hitch. I'm gonna make a fill
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: that boy, Paul Nice, ain't be me. I'll go to
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: my theater. Nothing. I can't say nothing. How many seats
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: in the theater. I'm not telling so many. They can't
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: find him in there. Y'all shut up, Steve Water, go
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: down front, see if down. Now, I've ben to take
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: my hand down and look in the brock and and
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: see me down. Ask me where I go to get away?
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: That's all I well. The Lord is still blessing, blessing you. Man.
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: I didn't even know you had I'm saying, if you're
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: talking to you like you he had one, I got changed.
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: I talked to you. How are you talking to him?
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: At first? He had no th he got a thing.
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: I gotta changed. I talked to him. Miss the nephew. Now, hey,
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: miss nephew, what time you go down to the Oh so, Steve,
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: in case you don't make it to San Diego? What
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: what room in your home do you go to? Where
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: do you go? I'll go all the way down to
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: the basement. What's done? Then? Just a little man cave?
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: I got? Oh? Okay, all right? See who? All right?
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: Coming up more of today's trending stories on the Steve
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show, and we'll be back in twenty minutes
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: after the hour. Right after this, what man than yeah,
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: you're listening show? If your favorite part of vacation is
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: getting on the plane. You're in luck, all right. Engineers
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: right now are working on what they call a flying
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: hotel that will allow you to spend your whole vacation
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: mid air. Now have you heard of this, Steve? Have
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: you heard of anything like this? Now? Already got depico,
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: he see, I knew all right. A detailed mock up
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: shows a massive, multi level plane that could hold over
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: five thousand people and stay in the air for days, weeks,
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: or even years at a time. The proposed is called
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: the sky Cruise. It hopes to have luxuries like several
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: swimming pools, restaurants, and a shopping mall. It will be
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: a nuclear powered plane, so it won't need pilots, and
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: it will be run entirely by computers. So my question
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: to you is, would you do this? Would you like
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: to be thirty thousand dollars thirty thousand miles in the
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: air or for about a week feet thirty thousand feet
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: in the air for about a week, And you say
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: they already have it, Steve, that's gonna be hard on
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: an airplane. I don't know how they're gonna pull that off,
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: because the cabin pressure is not really good for you
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: for that long. Those long flights, you do a lot
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: of swelling in cabin pressure like that. How you're gonna
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: wear your compression socks? Get the swimming pool already hard
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: to get off. They already hard to get on and off.
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: You get them wet, You're gonna have to cut them off.
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: I'm not gonna be damn people though. All right, we'll
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: at thirty three minutes after we'll play a round of
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: would you rather? Right after this you're listening to show?
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: All right, guys, it is time now for a round
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: of would you rather? Would you rather receive unlimited text
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: messages from Kanye West or Donald Trump? For ten days now?
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: I won't play the West. They were way more interested,
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: I really think, so yeah, man, yeah, Kanye ain't ye
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: yeah yeah. Actually Man is a good dude, it really is. Yeah.
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: And and Trump is actually a really bad dude, so yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: I just I think I think Yea needs a real friend,
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: real friend that actually loves him, cares about him and
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: wants to protect him, and that means not agree with everything. Yeah,
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: all right, would you rather lose all the money you
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: earned this year, or would you rather lose all of
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: the memories you gained this year? I ain't got a
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: member damn thing. You know. We are taking one of
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: these checks though, no matter. I don't even ask me,
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: do you remember? Guy? Well that's prices. But I'm gonna
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: be trying to remember where the hell my money went
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: to though, I'm trying to remember why I was at
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: work all him damn day took all of it, all
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: made this year, all the memories. All right, Well let
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: me see, you know, really technically, technically, I really, honestly,
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: I keep the memories. I can go make some more money. Yeah,
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: you know I could go. Really, I keep the memories
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: because I can go. I can replace the money. I
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: can get some this hill. I mean, my mama turned,
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: my mama turned eighty, and my baby girl graduated. You
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: never remember that again? Uh? That ain't gonna have it
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: in my head. I gotta have it in my head,
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: all right. I'm just broke with I'm broke with that though. Huh,
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: just here all right? Would you rather be stuck in
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: your house stuck? Would you rather be stuck with your
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: spouse in a treehouse? Or would you rather be stuck
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: with your spouse in a tent on a rainy day,
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: treehouse or tent on a rainy day. Know what, either way,
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: I'm fine because it ain't no ac conditioning there. She
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: ain't got that thing on sixty. I'm good. I don't care.
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: She ain't freezing me to do that's junior tent. Why so, rain,
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: brain is sexy, Brain is sexy? All right? Okay with
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: that rain? All right, guys, that's today's round of would
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: you rather? Coming up at forty nine minutes after. It's
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: our last break of the day, and we'll close out
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: the show with the one and only Steve Harvey right
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: after this. You're listening, all right, guys, here we go,
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: last break of the day. It's been a good day, Steve.
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: Teach us something on the way out, Steve. Well, you know, um,
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: I think the one thing that I've one of the
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: other things that I picked up when I was on
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: my vacation this summer, and one of the things that
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: was a great take way for me was how to
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: create value in my life. I mean, look, we all
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: want to have a life that's worth something. We all
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: want to be able to reap the benefits of our labor.
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: We all want to show increase as we get older.
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: We all want to retire, save money. We all want
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: to hit the big lick. We all want to get
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: make it. We all want to somehow get over. We
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: all want to live our best life. So how do
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: we create the most value? Well, two things that you
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: have to contend with when you're talking about quality of
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: life and value. That's your health and your time. Your
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: health in your time or two of the most important
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: commodities that you have. Because if you're out of either
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: one of those, you are in a world of trouble.
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: You can't be out of time, you're dead, and you
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: can't be out of health you're sick. And when you
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: really out of health, it's tough, man. It is tough
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: for people who aren't healthy. Most people I know with
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: money would trade in all their money if they could
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: be healthy again. So health in time. So how do
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: you create the most value? Well, take care of both
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: of those things right there. If you take care of
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: your health and you become an expert at time management,
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: I can't even tell you the value that you've increased
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: in your life. And this is something where you don't
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: need help from anybody. Else. You can do all this yourself,
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: starting right now. You can actually eat better and start
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: to feel better. You can actually cut out a lot
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: of crap in your day and have more times for
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: more things that's important to you. I mean, man, I'm
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: on this kick right now, really really trying to get
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: myself healthy on the inside, and I'm encouraging people. Look,
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: you don't let old aid age just come and walk
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: you out of here. You got to get in a
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: fight with it. Don't just sit down and rust away.
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: You know, if you don't move something but you don't use,
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: you lose. So if you're not moving your body, you
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: lose the ability to move your body. That's just common sense.
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: Get up, take a walk, Introduce some greens into your diet. Man,
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: eat smarter. Stop so much process food. Nobody's gonna eat perfect,
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: but at least try to increase your health. It'll make
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: you feel better. The quality of life that you had
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: would be better. Secondly, eradicate everything in your data is
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: a waste of time. If you are doing something that's
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: not making you better, feel better, and your life better,
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: why are you doing it? Why are you doing it? Really? Man,
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: When you do something, it should be to progress yourself,
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: even if it means turning around helping somebody that's less fortunate.
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: Do you know the blessing that you send your way
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: by helping the least of these, the less fortunate? You
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: know God pays you for that. Even if you just
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: cut out the people in your life that are negative,
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: cut them out your life and replace them with positive people.
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: How I got news. But you don't even have to
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: replace them. Just cut them out, man, where you can
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: have a solid thought yourself. It's horrible when you got
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: certain people that call you and all they do is
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: call you with bad news. They got nothing positive to say, ever,
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: they just always on some negative tip, and then next
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: thing you know, it's bleeding over in your day. Your
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: day was fine until you took that call. Get those
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: people out of your circle, get them away from you.
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: It's okay. I say this over and over and over,
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: but I can't tell you how many toxic relationships are
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: in your life that's making your life toxic. And you
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: sitting up in here and don't understand why you sick.
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: You got too many toxic people around you. I have them,
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: I used to have a lot more. I think I've
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: gotten rid of all of them. I had a company
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: meeting the other day and something flat up and I
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: squashed it right away, So maybe that'll keep that from spreading.
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: But if it don't, I know who it is. And
