- 1:06Speaker 3: Love you.
- 1:13Speaker 1: Turn and yellow.
- 1:25Speaker 2: Turn, got to turn the mouth turn.
- 1:43Speaker 1: You probably got to turn the mouth, the turn out
- 1:46Speaker 1: the water.
- 1:47Speaker 4: The money up.
- 1:49Speaker 3: Look, come.
- 1:58Speaker 4: Come on, you'll think, I sure will. Good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 6: You are listening to the voice, Come on DIVI now
- 2:08Speaker 6: one and on is Steve Harvey got a radio show?
- 2:12Speaker 7: Man?
- 2:14Speaker 6: I love it when I run up into people and
- 2:16Speaker 6: they say that to me. They say, hey, Steve Harvey
- 2:18Speaker 6: got a radio show. Then they wink at me. I
- 2:21Speaker 6: know they listening. You know, I got a lot off
- 2:23Speaker 6: my chest yesterday. I wanted to clean some things up.
- 2:25Speaker 6: And I appreciate y'all giving me a minute because sometimes,
- 2:28Speaker 6: you know, you just got to say some things out loud.
- 2:31Speaker 6: Not complaining, but hey, just verbalizing, but realizing that I
- 2:36Speaker 6: got to keep going anyway. And that's my words this
- 2:40Speaker 6: morning to you, that I want you to keep pushing
- 2:45Speaker 6: no matter what happens. I want to share something with
- 2:49Speaker 6: you that's important, that's very very important. See you have
- 2:56Speaker 6: to give God something too blessed. You know, if your
- 3:01Speaker 6: prayer is asking for God's blessings, you got to give
- 3:05Speaker 6: him something to work with.
- 3:06Speaker 8: Now, you know, you.
- 3:10Speaker 6: Gotta show the spirit of appreciation or gratitude. You gotta
- 3:16Speaker 6: let him know that you're in it for the long haul.
- 3:20Speaker 6: No matter what happens. Don't turn around. You will never
- 3:26Speaker 6: ever see what the end could be. If you turn
- 3:31Speaker 6: around and go back, You'll never know what the end
- 3:34Speaker 6: could have been had you stuck it out.
- 3:38Speaker 4: You'll never know.
- 3:41Speaker 6: How good it could have gotten had you not just
- 3:45Speaker 6: wathered the storm. That's the thing that gets most people
- 3:52Speaker 6: that it get tough for him, It get hard for him,
- 3:56Speaker 6: and then they let doubts set in, and then those
- 3:59Speaker 6: doubts become facts and the next thing you know, they
- 4:02Speaker 6: give up. Had you not given up, or had you
- 4:06Speaker 6: given your best, what the results or outcome could have been.
- 4:11Speaker 6: I look back on my life on so many occasions
- 4:15Speaker 6: where in college I wasn't giving my best. Now flunked out. Now,
- 4:22Speaker 6: it's easy to look at my life now and go, yeah,
- 4:25Speaker 6: but look at you now. But back then, man, it
- 4:29Speaker 6: cost me for so many years that failing to finish
- 4:35Speaker 6: that not giving my all. It cost me a number
- 4:40Speaker 6: of years. I wish I could say that it didn't
- 4:44Speaker 6: mean nothing, that it was just a blimp on the
- 4:46Speaker 6: radar skin screen, but at the time it was major.
- 4:50Speaker 6: And so you have a lot of decisions in your
- 4:52Speaker 6: life that are happening now. You may be in your twenties,
- 4:56Speaker 6: your late teens, you could be in your early thirties,
- 4:59Speaker 6: and it's happening. But guess what you'll eventually get through
- 5:03Speaker 6: it provided one thing you never give up.
- 5:08Speaker 8: You never turn around and go back.
- 5:11Speaker 6: Had I written myself off because of one failure, see,
- 5:15Speaker 6: and this is where so many people go wrong at too.
- 5:18Speaker 6: You write yourself off after you failed at something, the
- 5:23Speaker 6: one thing you thought you wanted to accomplish, and you
- 5:26Speaker 6: failed at it. Now you write yourself off as a failure.
- 5:29Speaker 6: Now you go settle on into life and just see
- 5:32Speaker 6: what hand you get. Had when I flunked out of college,
- 5:37Speaker 6: had I written myself off as a failure, I wouldn't
- 5:40Speaker 6: be here today. When I lost my carpet cleaner company,
- 5:44Speaker 6: I would have written myself as a failure. And I
- 5:47Speaker 6: wouldn't be here today when I didn't become a diamond
- 5:50Speaker 6: distributed in Amway or a direct distributor in Amway, even
- 5:55Speaker 6: I would have written myself as a failure.
- 5:58Speaker 8: And I wouldn't be here today.
- 6:01Speaker 6: When I bought a distribution kit to become a distributor
- 6:05Speaker 6: of the Bohemian Diet.
- 6:08Speaker 8: And I didn't make it, I would have written myself
- 6:11Speaker 8: as a failure.
- 6:12Speaker 6: When I became an Al Williams distributor and I didn't
- 6:15Speaker 6: make it, I would have written myself as a failure,
- 6:17Speaker 6: and I wouldn't be here today.
- 6:19Speaker 8: Oh, I got a list for you.
- 6:22Speaker 6: When I got laid off at for a motor company,
- 6:25Speaker 6: had I written myself as a failure, I wouldn't have
- 6:28Speaker 6: made it. Do you need some more? Because I have
- 6:34Speaker 6: a story filled with mishaps. I have a story filled
- 6:39Speaker 6: with failures. Couple of things now, the grace of God
- 6:45Speaker 6: and his mercy which is available to us all. See
- 6:49Speaker 6: that's the key, y'all, Because of his mercy, because of
- 6:53Speaker 6: his willingness to forgive and to even understand why we
- 7:00Speaker 6: do the things we do. In all of my shortcomings,
- 7:06Speaker 6: failed marriages I'm talking about, man got it all wrong.
- 7:11Speaker 6: Can't blame nobody else, It's just me. Steve ain't have
- 7:15Speaker 6: it together at that point in life, I've could have
- 7:19Speaker 6: written myself as a failure the first time I could have.
- 7:23Speaker 6: I just could have gave up on it after the
- 7:25Speaker 6: second one. And please know this is an admission. This
- 7:30Speaker 6: ain't bragging.
- 7:31Speaker 8: So before you start in with me, understand what I'm saying.
- 7:34Speaker 6: I'm pointing out in my life a series of missteps
- 7:40Speaker 6: and failures. But how I still get here today. Couple
- 7:46Speaker 6: of things. God's grace and mercy is first. But that's
- 7:52Speaker 6: the key, that's for everybody see if it's God's willingness
- 7:57Speaker 6: to forgive you and God's understanding of why we do
- 8:02Speaker 6: what we do because he said.
- 8:04Speaker 8: We wasn't gonna be perfect.
- 8:06Speaker 6: So in all of your imperfections, your creator told you
- 8:11Speaker 6: you would not be perfect.
- 8:12Speaker 1: He's said it to you.
- 8:13Speaker 8: It's out there. I don't care which one of the
- 8:16Speaker 8: books you read, it tells you that.
- 8:20Speaker 4: So guess what.
- 8:21Speaker 6: With that in mind, he has a grace that he has.
- 8:26Speaker 6: It's like a grace period. It's like when you don't
- 8:28Speaker 6: pay your insurance premium on the day that is due.
- 8:32Speaker 6: The next day, they don't just cancel your insurance premium.
- 8:36Speaker 6: They have a grace period because they ain't trying to
- 8:39Speaker 6: stop this money from coming in. But when it comes
- 8:43Speaker 6: to God, there's no money required. He just gives you
- 8:46Speaker 6: the grace freely. It don't cost you nothing. See, you
- 8:50Speaker 6: gotta tap into that, y'all. You gotta get in touch
- 8:52Speaker 6: with that, because that's an important part to making it.
- 8:55Speaker 6: Understanding that His grace is available. So when you make
- 8:59Speaker 6: a mistake, So when you fail at it, he has
- 9:04Speaker 6: a loophole in the contract with him that allows you
- 9:07Speaker 6: to make mistakes, that allows you to get it wrong, that.
- 9:11Speaker 8: Allows you to fail time and time and time again.
- 9:15Speaker 6: But if you never give up, if you keep getting up,
- 9:18Speaker 6: if you keep trying, if you keep striving, if you
- 9:21Speaker 6: keep making the effort to go forward and not go back,
- 9:25Speaker 6: God has a blessing for you, and He has it
- 9:29Speaker 6: in abundance for you, and God will give it to
- 9:32Speaker 6: you at the right time. But you got to be ready. Oh,
- 9:37Speaker 6: I want it to be successful. But if He had
- 9:40Speaker 6: given it to me back then, I wouldn't have handled
- 9:43Speaker 6: it correctly because I would have made some more mistakes
- 9:47Speaker 6: along the way. So you make the mistakes to learn
- 9:51Speaker 6: the lessons. Lord, ain't God been good to me? I
- 9:55Speaker 6: ain't gonna lie to you.
- 9:56Speaker 1: Cool morning, show.

- 15:06Speaker 10: get him on the phone.
- 15:07Speaker 3: Okay, it would be uh it'd be kind of easy
- 15:09Speaker 3: if I kind of explain everything to both of you
- 15:11Speaker 3: guys at the same time. Is that if that's okay? Okay?
- 15:14Speaker 3: So I'm wrong, Uh No, nothing's wrong. I mean I
- 15:17Speaker 3: think I need to just try to bring a few
- 15:18Speaker 3: things to you guys attention. But I think you know,
- 15:20Speaker 3: after that, it's pretty much you guys decision on what
- 15:22Speaker 3: you do. But I just wanted to let you know
- 15:24Speaker 3: a few things about you know, the results and things
- 15:26Speaker 3: of that nature of life, insurance, the whole nine yards.
- 15:28Speaker 10: Okay, okay, I'm right. Let me see if I can
- 15:32Speaker 10: get him on the phone. Hey, babe, Hey, sweetheart, Look,

- 15:51Speaker 3: Good?
- 15:51Speaker 7: Good?
- 15:51Speaker 3: Listen. And I wanted to give you guys a call
- 15:54Speaker 3: and kind of follow up if you guys did physicals
- 15:56Speaker 3: and blood tests and the whole nine yards, and I
- 15:58Speaker 3: wanted to give you guys a call kind of bet
- 16:00Speaker 3: if I talked to both of you guys at the
- 16:02Speaker 3: same time. So do you have a minute that we
- 16:04Speaker 3: could actually use to gotta get some of this information
- 16:06Speaker 3: out to you.
- 16:07Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm fine. I'm gonna gonna break right now.
- 16:09Speaker 7: We're good, Okay, great.
- 16:10Speaker 3: First of all, we've gotten all your your lab results
- 16:13Speaker 3: back everything, and I kind of got a few questions
- 16:16Speaker 3: for you guys that that I'm a little puzzled on.
- 16:19Speaker 3: How long have you guys actually been married, well together,
- 16:22Speaker 3: free years okay, now, prior to being married three years?
- 16:26Speaker 3: How long did you guys know each other before you
- 16:28Speaker 3: got married?
- 16:29Speaker 7: Oh, say about five and a half five or six years?
- 16:32Speaker 10: About six years?
- 16:33Speaker 3: Okay, You guys have been knowing each other pretty close
- 16:35Speaker 3: to nine years now all together. Yeah, okay. Are you
- 16:38Speaker 3: actually from the same hometowns? You grew up in the
- 16:41Speaker 3: same hometown?
- 16:43Speaker 10: Yeah, yeah, yeah, we grew up. I mean, I'm kind sorry,
- 16:46Speaker 10: is this question I mean, is this about the insurance.
- 16:49Speaker 3: Or well, I mean there's a few things that that's
- 16:52Speaker 3: actually puzzling Carmen that we need to this. This is
- 16:58Speaker 3: some news I actually didn't want to bring guys.
- 17:00Speaker 7: I mean, we have to, I have to.
- 17:02Speaker 3: Actually give you this news. Looking at our records, looking
- 17:05Speaker 3: at all the test results, and let me be the
- 17:07Speaker 3: person to tell you that we run these results over
- 17:09Speaker 3: and over and over trying to make sure we are
- 17:12Speaker 3: completely one hundred and fifteen to twenty percent right. Okay,
- 17:15Speaker 3: it's a problem with the test. Well, looking at our test, guys, Carvey, Carmen,
- 17:21Speaker 3: it's indicating that you guys are related, and nine times
- 17:25Speaker 3: out of ten you are. You guys are siblings. Hold on, man,
- 17:29Speaker 3: I understand the shop. It took me. It took everything
- 17:31Speaker 3: I had to make this phone call. I did not
- 17:33Speaker 3: want to make it. But looking at our records and
- 17:36Speaker 3: we went over these records over and over, and the
- 17:40Speaker 3: blood work tells us that you guys are actually siblings. Man,
- 17:45Speaker 3: what are you serious? I'm actually I'm you know what
- 17:51Speaker 3: this is not that. This is not a laughing matter,
- 17:52Speaker 3: not a joking matter. You know. Like I said, I
- 17:55Speaker 3: did not want to call with this information?
- 17:57Speaker 7: What you did make the phone call?
- 17:59Speaker 9: Man? Look you.
- 18:02Speaker 3: I don't know what.
- 18:03Speaker 10: You need to go back and and and double check
- 18:05Speaker 10: your records or something.
- 18:06Speaker 7: Because you've been married three brief check with the lab. Man,
- 18:11Speaker 7: can you check with the lab?
- 18:13Speaker 3: And like paul Us back, Harvey and I and I
- 18:16Speaker 3: knew those questions would have come up, and we we
- 18:19Speaker 3: went over it. We went over it and over it.
- 18:21Speaker 1: And over it.
- 18:22Speaker 10: Y'all need to go over it again because I.
- 18:26Speaker 7: Don't know, baby, I got this. You made the call
- 18:30Speaker 7: and this gotta be wrong. So what you need to
- 18:32Speaker 7: do is make another call and call the lab and
- 18:35Speaker 7: call us back and let us know that you need
- 18:37Speaker 7: to know they made a mistake or you're talking about.
- 18:40Speaker 3: Me and my wife, and I understand that, hardy, Harry,
- 18:43Speaker 3: Let me ask you this is it possible, you know,
- 18:45Speaker 3: and this is just a question. Is it possible that
- 18:48Speaker 3: your dad and maybe her mom maybe knew each other
- 18:51Speaker 3: at some point?
- 18:52Speaker 7: And what the what you're saying for my mom.
- 18:55Speaker 10: And dad, that's some straight look at You need to
- 18:59Speaker 10: go back and do whatever you need them.
- 19:01Speaker 2: So I think you m you say something like that again.
- 19:03Speaker 10: I think my baby's gonna be coming down that beat you.
- 19:05Speaker 7: But says it like that old baby, old baby, baby baby.
- 19:09Speaker 10: I don't know, baby, I got this, I got a baby,
- 19:13Speaker 10: I gotta baby.
- 19:14Speaker 7: I gotta say how he's gonna call me with you?
- 19:16Speaker 7: What you for?
- 19:18Speaker 10: You from people do like that?
- 19:20Speaker 3: But that ain't all along you, sir, is bringing you
- 19:22Speaker 3: the results?
- 19:23Speaker 7: Why don't you bring me results? Impersonal? And I bet
- 19:26Speaker 7: I whoop you.
- 19:27Speaker 3: That's what I'm talking about beating Hey, sir, Even if
- 19:30Speaker 3: you beat the messenger at the end of the day,

- 19:35Speaker 10: But I don't care what he's talking about.
- 19:37Speaker 3: Not he ain't my damn brother.
- 19:38Speaker 10: H I got.
- 19:40Speaker 7: I'm gonna find out what you whatever you will cause
- 19:42Speaker 7: you in. You're gonna call me time out.
- 19:44Speaker 10: We brothers, my wife.
- 19:47Speaker 3: I am having that son you Somewhere down the line,
- 19:49Speaker 3: somebody made a mistake and you guys a brother and
- 19:52Speaker 3: sister got married. I'm not as far for that.
- 19:54Speaker 10: Well, let me tell you that, don't you make a
- 19:56Speaker 10: mistake of colleague. He's in one of these numbers again
- 19:59Speaker 10: in your life.
- 20:00Speaker 3: So I got one more test result.
- 20:01Speaker 10: I need to get what you've been talking about them.
- 20:07Speaker 10: Well you got to say.
- 20:08Speaker 3: Now it's gonna be working me. The only other test
- 20:10Speaker 3: result I have, ma'am, is that this is nephew Tommy
- 20:13Speaker 3: from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You just got prayed
- 20:16Speaker 3: by your girlfriends.
- 20:22Speaker 7: I told you ain't like.
- 20:26Speaker 10: I told you.

- 20:33Speaker 3: both of y'all, what is the baddest And I'm talking
- 20:36Speaker 3: about the baddest radio show in the land.
- 20:39Speaker 10: Steeve Harvey More Show, Thank.
- 20:45Speaker 1: You coming up next, It is asked the Ready Love Officer.
- 20:49Speaker 1: You're listening hard morning show coming up at the top
- 20:54Speaker 1: of the hour and entertainment news. Angela Bassett will receive
- 20:58Speaker 1: an honorary Oscar of War and Carti b is slamming
- 21:02Speaker 1: rumors that she cheated on Offset. We'll talk about all
- 21:05Speaker 1: of these stories, yeah, at the top of the hour,
- 21:07Speaker 1: because right now it is time to ask the Riddlo
- 21:11Speaker 1: and Junior RIDDLEAU, of course stands for Ready to Love Officer,
- 21:15Speaker 1: Sean and d Sean and de Sotto says, I'm in
- 21:20Speaker 1: a local pageant for married women and my husband doesn't
- 21:24Speaker 1: want me to do the pageant because I've gained a
- 21:26Speaker 1: little weight. He said, he doesn't want my feelings to
- 21:29Speaker 1: get hurt. But I think he's embarrassed by me. What's
- 21:32Speaker 1: he really trying to say here?
- 21:34Speaker 5: Why did your husband say anything about your weight at all?
- 21:39Speaker 5: That was stupid to begin with, to be talking about
- 21:41Speaker 5: your wife's weight. That is the number one rule you
- 21:44Speaker 5: never speak on. If your wife is gained a little weight,
- 21:48Speaker 5: you just suck it up and you ride with it.
- 21:49Speaker 5: You know you could be encouraging, You should be encouraging
- 21:53Speaker 5: to your wife, as your wife into this pageant. This
- 21:55Speaker 5: is something your wife want to do. You got to
- 21:58Speaker 5: you got to get behind and you got to ride
- 21:59Speaker 5: it up. Now there's some little ways you can kind
- 22:01Speaker 5: of say, baby, don't don't wear that. Don't wear that.
- 22:04Speaker 4: Let me try to help you.
- 22:05Speaker 5: That's hear you almost let me you can well, let
- 22:11Speaker 5: me let me fix it. Now you can say, baby,
- 22:14Speaker 5: I think I think you look better in this. I
- 22:17Speaker 5: think you look you look beautiful.
- 22:19Speaker 7: But I like this?
- 22:21Speaker 1: What's what's wrong with this?
- 22:22Speaker 7: What you know? What here?
- 22:24Speaker 4: Baby?
- 22:25Speaker 5: Just just gone wear it? Then?
- 22:26Speaker 4: Don't wear gone, wear I don't like.
- 22:31Speaker 5: She's in a baby gone and where you're gonna be
- 22:35Speaker 5: the best thing in this pageant? I don't care what
- 22:37Speaker 5: you put on. I'm over here behind you. Okay, I
- 22:41Speaker 5: think that one?
- 22:42Speaker 8: Okay?
- 22:43Speaker 4: Age?
- 22:44Speaker 1: But this one?
- 22:45Speaker 7: Do I like that?
- 22:46Speaker 1: Do I look a little big in this one? Do
- 22:48Speaker 1: I look fat in this one?
- 22:52Speaker 4: Who tell you that? Who told you that? Who told
- 22:55Speaker 4: you that?
- 22:55Speaker 8: Why?
- 22:55Speaker 5: Why would you say that? Where does he be coming from?
- 22:58Speaker 5: I'm asking whether is he coming from? I'm keep asking,
- 23:02Speaker 5: I'm keep answering what questions. Well it's coming from?
- 23:05Speaker 6: Though?
- 23:06Speaker 4: Who said something about that?
- 23:08Speaker 3: I don't, I don't.
- 23:09Speaker 4: I'm trying to see what they've seen.
- 23:10Speaker 8: Who was this?
- 23:12Speaker 4: Who was bringing this to your attention?
- 23:13Speaker 1: Because you know last year I gained a few pounds
- 23:17Speaker 1: since last year, and I wanted to see if you
- 23:19Speaker 1: noticed it. Did you notice anything.
- 23:21Speaker 4: That was last year?
- 23:22Speaker 5: This is twenty twenty three, that was last year? Yea,
- 23:26Speaker 5: who's bringing that up? Who talking about last year?
- 23:27Speaker 3: This?
- 23:28Speaker 4: We're talking about this year. We're talking about what this year?
- 23:33Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 23:33Speaker 5: Never answered nothing, never answered what you got junior?
- 23:38Speaker 11: Oh No, I'm just said like, he's gonna be encouraging
- 23:41Speaker 11: to her. You know, this is not something you say
- 23:43Speaker 11: to be like, you know, just say, hey, looks, I
- 23:45Speaker 11: don't care what you're wearing. That patty, you're gonna win
- 23:47Speaker 11: in my book.
- 23:47Speaker 4: I know that, dame.
- 23:50Speaker 1: What serch?
- 23:52Speaker 4: That's it?
- 23:53Speaker 5: But not ye But now here's the difference when you
- 23:55Speaker 5: see somebody else wife and you don't agree what the
- 23:57Speaker 5: hell she got on?
- 23:59Speaker 4: I was allartment, I started right on up.
- 24:04Speaker 1: She doing in the competition?
- 24:05Speaker 3: I know.
- 24:08Speaker 4: You got her baby? Right now? We in second? Right now?
- 24:12Speaker 1: All right, thank you guys. Moving on to Pammy and Columbus.
- 24:16Speaker 1: Pammy writes, I wrote a book, and I expected my
- 24:20Speaker 1: friend to help me get it published at her job.
- 24:22Speaker 1: But she's acting brand new and asked me for money.
- 24:26Speaker 1: I told her, if I have to pay, then I
- 24:28Speaker 1: would pay a much better company to do it. She
- 24:30Speaker 1: works for the company, she's not the owner. So why
- 24:33Speaker 1: does she get so offended by what I said?
- 24:36Speaker 5: Hey, dang, your friend. Now you find out your friend
- 24:40Speaker 5: really ain't your friend. This is what you need to do.
- 24:42Speaker 4: Let's bypass her and go to the owner and get
- 24:44Speaker 4: your thing published. We're talking to your friend. Your friends
- 24:47Speaker 4: always try to hold you back on some things.
- 24:49Speaker 5: Sometimes. Just skip around her. Go directly to the owner
- 24:52Speaker 5: and see if you can get your book published. And
- 24:54Speaker 5: if that's not the case, then you need to go.
- 24:56Speaker 5: You need you know what. I'm gonna hook you up.
- 24:58Speaker 5: Take this number down. This is off the state, and
- 25:00Speaker 5: he'll help you get published. Oh you better not listen.
- 25:03Speaker 1: His phone number on the.
- 25:12Speaker 5: Junior.
- 25:12Speaker 1: What you think?
- 25:13Speaker 11: No, I think she needs to pay the company, not
- 25:15Speaker 11: her personally. That's what I'm thinking. I think she needs
- 25:18Speaker 11: to pay the company.
- 25:19Speaker 5: If one of you all call me for a hookup,
- 25:21Speaker 5: I'm not gonna try to get some money out of you.
- 25:22Speaker 4: I'm gonna hook you up.
- 25:23Speaker 5: It's gonna pass you on get you set up when
- 25:26Speaker 5: you're supposed to, to get you to get your process
- 25:28Speaker 5: and your project going.
- 25:29Speaker 4: I don't want your money. We're friends. Why are we
- 25:31Speaker 4: always doing that to each other.
- 25:33Speaker 11: I don't even know why, because you know my friends, man,
- 25:34Speaker 11: they buy tickets to the show. I don't even have
- 25:36Speaker 11: to give out free tickets to my friends.
- 25:38Speaker 4: They buy.
- 25:39Speaker 5: Well, I need say, okay, I need your friends, I
- 25:43Speaker 5: need your caller. Gonna need some tickets for Rodando Beach.
- 25:46Speaker 5: I'm telling you right now, in every state, find one.
- 25:54Speaker 1: Whatever Junior. Yeah, get out of here and what I
- 25:57Speaker 1: call pick up? Yeah, all right. Moving on to Sheila
- 26:02Speaker 1: and Tulsa. Sheila says, my husband did t shirts for
- 26:05Speaker 1: my family reunion and I didn't know he know he
- 26:08Speaker 1: ordered only Excel and double Excel. The ladies in my
- 26:11Speaker 1: family question him, and he said he knows that big breast.
- 26:15Speaker 1: Big breasts run in my family. My oldest aunt didn't
- 26:19Speaker 1: think that comment was funny. And how do I get
- 26:21Speaker 1: my family to see that my husband was just joking.
- 26:24Speaker 1: These are just jokes. Relaxed.
- 26:27Speaker 5: If your husband been married into the family and that's
- 26:30Speaker 5: not really his side of the family, need to walk
- 26:33Speaker 5: lightly and learn to say what he's supposed to say. Okay,
- 26:36Speaker 5: you done got way out of line. And you know
- 26:39Speaker 5: y'all needed some three x'es and fox x's and the
- 26:41Speaker 5: damn shirts. You know you needed that. Okay, now you
- 26:44Speaker 5: got these three foux X people trying to squeeze in
- 26:46Speaker 5: these extra lodges and it's not gonna work. Not a
- 26:49Speaker 5: not a tree stretched all across the shirt, running all
- 26:52Speaker 5: up undernea to on the arm because you asked him
- 26:54Speaker 5: getting enough material on it.
- 26:55Speaker 4: No he's not.
- 26:56Speaker 5: Now, look at Miss Lois, look at Miss Lowis. Look
- 26:58Speaker 5: at this tree high's running straight across from shoulder to shoulder.
- 27:01Speaker 5: That tree ain't supposed to be going that far. It's
- 27:03Speaker 5: not supposed to be out of line.
- 27:06Speaker 1: But they can't take a joke though, that's that's her point.
- 27:11Speaker 11: They can't take your funny. Them elders did not play
- 27:13Speaker 11: that about they size. I don't know why he even
- 27:15Speaker 11: said nothing by that, but it is something to look at.
- 27:18Speaker 11: It probably was funny them trees and stretched looked like
- 27:20Speaker 11: a road map instead of a tree.
- 27:22Speaker 4: Now, now that looks like it's going somewhere.
- 27:25Speaker 1: Speaking from someone who just came from a family.
- 27:29Speaker 9: Came from a family, un what size does you saw
- 27:33Speaker 9: large myself.
- 27:34Speaker 1: However, however, you need to get you a T shirt form.
- 27:40Speaker 1: They can fill it out.
- 27:41Speaker 9: We had a form where you put everybody in the
- 27:44Speaker 9: family there your size. Don't be leaving the sizing up
- 27:48Speaker 9: to someone else.
- 27:49Speaker 1: That's that's my suggestion.
- 27:50Speaker 4: Now you had a large, you was comfortable.
- 27:53Speaker 1: I want you don't want a T shirt gate all right?
- 27:56Speaker 1: Nonut wardrobe malfunctions. All right, Moving on the last one, guys.
- 28:01Speaker 1: This is Marcella and Gaithersburg. She says, my boyfriend promised
- 28:05Speaker 1: me a bigger house by the fourth of July, and
- 28:07Speaker 1: the deal fell through. Most of our current home is
- 28:10Speaker 1: already boxed up, and he's talking about having people over
- 28:14Speaker 1: for the fourth I told him I'm not in the
- 28:16Speaker 1: mood for that, and he's doing it anyway, So should
- 28:19Speaker 1: I participate or leave that day?
- 28:21Speaker 5: She wants to know you about to buy a house
- 28:24Speaker 5: to deal and fell through y'all and packed up at
- 28:27Speaker 5: the old house. Y'all got boxes everywhere. Now he want
- 28:29Speaker 5: to come through and throw something for the.
- 28:31Speaker 1: Fourth right.
- 28:34Speaker 4: Ya, don't let him do it.
- 28:34Speaker 5: They can't mess up none and everything boxed up and
- 28:36Speaker 5: I can get messed up. You might as well you
- 28:38Speaker 5: got plenty of room. You're gonna bring extra people. But
- 28:41Speaker 5: when you start pulling jails and stuff out these boxes
- 28:44Speaker 5: and postman said down, now we're starting all over again.
- 28:46Speaker 5: This is really you, really depressed behind this move and
- 28:49Speaker 5: this deal to exactly really what you're upset about. That's
- 28:52Speaker 5: really what you're upset about it. And I get it,
- 28:54Speaker 5: all right, but the fourth don't stop. And it is
- 28:56Speaker 5: so serious to me about this barbecue.
- 28:58Speaker 4: So I'm.
- 29:00Speaker 1: All right, thank you guys. Coming up at the top
- 29:03Speaker 1: of the hour, we'll have some entertainment news for a
- 29:05Speaker 1: year right after this. You're listening hard morning show. Well
- 29:12Speaker 1: our girl, Angela Bassett, we love her. Well, Miss Bassett
- 29:15Speaker 1: will receive an Honorary Oscar. That's right. The Academy of
- 29:19Speaker 1: Motion Pictures, Arts and Scientists announced that actress Angela Bassett
- 29:23Speaker 1: will receive an Honorary Oscar at the fourteenth Governor's Awards
- 29:27Speaker 1: on November eighteenth of this year. Academy President Janet Yang
- 29:31Speaker 1: said in a press release. Some of the things she
- 29:33Speaker 1: said was that Angela Bassett has continued to deliver great
- 29:37Speaker 1: performances that set new standards in acting. Honorary Oscar recipients
- 29:42Speaker 1: are voted on by the Academy's Board of Governors. They're
- 29:45Speaker 1: given to honor extraordinary distinction in lifetime achievement, exceptional contributions
- 29:51Speaker 1: to the state of Motion picture Arts and Sciences, or
- 29:55Speaker 1: for outstanding service to the Academy. Past OSCAR nominee OSCAR
- 29:59Speaker 1: winner include Samuel L. Jackson and Cecily Tyson. So you
- 30:03Speaker 1: know this is a huge award of those two one.
- 30:06Speaker 9: Honorary Yeah, yeah, that's big about Yeah to make me one?
- 30:14Speaker 4: Is this a band aid for not giving it to
- 30:16Speaker 4: it when she shot?
- 30:19Speaker 5: Yeah, Tina, we were supposed to have it for.
- 30:22Speaker 1: Shop Oh yeah, her and Lawrence, her and outstanding and
- 30:28Speaker 1: lawn for.
- 30:28Speaker 4: Sure, and then and then recently you know what kind Yeah,
- 30:32Speaker 4: for sure.
- 30:33Speaker 1: I should have gotten it. Yeah, they dropped the ball
- 30:36Speaker 1: for not giving it to her and exactly, so fix it.
- 30:43Speaker 1: I'm still salty obviously for Tina, What's love. I never
- 30:50Speaker 1: got over that.
- 30:51Speaker 4: I never got over Wesley not getting it for.
- 30:53Speaker 1: New Ohadi for dream Girls. You know he should have
- 30:58Speaker 1: gotten it for that. Oh yeah, absolutely all right, period, Yeah,
- 31:06Speaker 1: Eddie professor, all of it, all of it. Yeah. And
- 31:10Speaker 1: other entertainment news OFFSET seemed to have posted and quickly
- 31:15Speaker 1: deleted an Instagram story accusing his wife, Carti B of
- 31:19Speaker 1: cheating on him. Carti denied the infidelity rumors on the
- 31:22Speaker 1: Twitter spaces platform. She said, quote, first of all, let
- 31:25Speaker 1: me say, you just can't accuse me of the things.
- 31:29Speaker 1: You know that you are guilty of. Sing it with me, y'all,
- 31:32Speaker 1: and I see that it is easy for you to
- 31:35Speaker 1: blame everything on me. Yes, honey, listen, don't pay attention
- 31:39Speaker 1: to that countryman, y'all, she added, before claiming the Migos
- 31:42Speaker 1: member is spiraling and thinking sugar honey iced tea, which
- 31:47Speaker 1: did not happen. Carti said she has never cheated on
- 31:51Speaker 1: her husband, added adding come on, now, I'm Cardi B.
- 31:55Speaker 1: I think sometimes blank words. Forget that I'm Cardi B.
- 31:59Speaker 1: If I was giving this to anybody, it would be out.
- 32:03Speaker 1: I'm not just anybody. Stop acting stupid, she said. The
- 32:06Speaker 1: blank stop playing, That's all I'm trying.
- 32:12Speaker 7: You know what they are?
- 32:13Speaker 2: Yeah, you know what they are.
- 32:16Speaker 1: I think sometimes blank words. You know what that would mean.
- 32:19Speaker 1: Forget that, I'm Cardi B. The blank. You know what
- 32:22Speaker 1: that means?
- 32:23Speaker 4: She says that.
- 32:25Speaker 1: Yeah, and she says, that's all I'm blanking, saying because
- 32:30Speaker 1: for real, let's be serious.
- 32:32Speaker 7: So there you go.
- 32:33Speaker 1: She said she did not cheat on offset.
- 32:36Speaker 5: Another blanketed blanket things don't don't. Don't let me hear
- 32:41Speaker 5: about this blank no more. Because if I have to
- 32:44Speaker 5: blank up on, y'all a guard, I'm a blank man.
- 32:51Speaker 5: Start clapping it, y'all got y'all got me blanked up?
- 32:58Speaker 6: Blank?
- 33:01Speaker 1: So what do you think?
- 33:02Speaker 5: I mean?
- 33:02Speaker 1: We talk about this all the time. Why what is
- 33:06Speaker 1: it about men and women that they feel that they
- 33:08Speaker 1: have to cheat? Why do they cheat?
- 33:10Speaker 7: Why?
- 33:12Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 33:13Speaker 4: I have no idea why it.
- 33:15Speaker 5: I don't know what the desire like for women. I
- 33:21Speaker 5: think it's fifty to fifty. You just don't know what
- 33:22Speaker 5: people's desires are. I think I think some men just
- 33:27Speaker 5: want to have more. That's just all I can say.
- 33:30Speaker 5: Some men want to have more. Agreed, Agreed that men
- 33:34Speaker 5: are hunters and men feel like they like to. You know,
- 33:36Speaker 5: even though you found what you like, some men keep hunting.
- 33:40Speaker 5: It happens now now from a women's perspectives, One of
- 33:43Speaker 5: you guys have to explain that to me, because I
- 33:46Speaker 5: can't speak on that.
- 33:47Speaker 1: Women cheat, Yeah, because a lot of times they used to. Anyway,
- 33:50Speaker 1: it's different now. It is really different now because women
- 33:53Speaker 1: don't even have to have a reason to cheat. Now
- 33:55Speaker 1: they just cheat. You hear the strawberry letters. They just
- 33:58Speaker 1: cheat a lot of times. But before it used to
- 34:00Speaker 1: be because they were heard or because you know, it
- 34:04Speaker 1: was something the men did or didn't do to them,
- 34:07Speaker 1: so they had to go out and cheat, you know,
- 34:09Speaker 1: to fill up that void or whatever. But it's a
- 34:12Speaker 1: lot different now. Yeah, go ahead.
- 34:14Speaker 9: It's a revenge, like you, like you said, the herd,
- 34:17Speaker 9: the revenge. As to why women treat cheat, I think
- 34:20Speaker 9: with men, is it an ego thing. I know, Tommy,
- 34:23Speaker 9: you talked about greed, insatiable, never satisfied.
- 34:30Speaker 4: I think too. Some men have have have didn't have
- 34:35Speaker 4: that opportunity in their early years.
- 34:38Speaker 5: It wasn't available for them to do. They weren't where
- 34:40Speaker 5: they wanted, where they could have been to make those
- 34:43Speaker 5: things happen. And now you're at this position. Now you're bawling,
- 34:46Speaker 5: you're doing what you can. And now it's like I'm
- 34:49Speaker 5: bowling and you and you, and you dip out and
- 34:52Speaker 5: you start trying things. That's that's that's what I think.
- 34:55Speaker 5: Because you got it, Because you got it, you can
- 34:58Speaker 5: roll it now does that make sense?
- 34:59Speaker 1: Yeah, I agree with that. Yeah, I definitely can't agree
- 35:02Speaker 1: with that. And sometimes, like I said, you don't even
- 35:04Speaker 1: have to have a reason, it's just there, you know,
- 35:07Speaker 1: it's just there.
- 35:08Speaker 9: And sometimes you just do it just because sexual desire. Yeah, yeah, variety,
- 35:15Speaker 9: just that. I think that's part of it too. What
- 35:17Speaker 9: do you think, Junior.
- 35:19Speaker 4: I think I'm newly married. That's why I was quiet
- 35:21Speaker 4: the whole time. I shot my wife.
- 35:23Speaker 11: And I love her, and I don't even know why
- 35:26Speaker 11: I can't even participate in that conversation.
- 35:28Speaker 4: I need to keep myself focused. I need to get
- 35:32Speaker 4: that trash out on Wednesday. Yeah, that's all I'm doing.
- 35:36Speaker 1: Good answer, Junior, You're gonna stay married for a minute.
- 35:41Speaker 1: Coming up in twenty minutes after the hour of Chicago Mom,
- 35:44Speaker 1: we gotta talk about this and her teen's son have
- 35:47Speaker 1: been released from jail after murder charges were dropped. We'll
- 35:50Speaker 1: talk about it. Like I said, right after this, you're
- 35:53Speaker 1: listening Hardy Morning Show. Well in trending news from our
- 35:58Speaker 1: home station in Chicago. V three prosecutors in Chicago have
- 36:03Speaker 1: dropped murder chargers against carl Sha Hood and her fourteen
- 36:07Speaker 1: year old son in the shooting death of thirty two
- 36:09Speaker 1: year old Jeremy Brown. This is according to CBS News.
- 36:12Speaker 1: Cook County prosecutors. Of course, that's Cook County State's Attorney
- 36:16Speaker 1: Kim Fox, have dropped those chargers after a video emerged
- 36:21Speaker 1: showing Brown repeatedly punching this woman in the head before
- 36:25Speaker 1: her teen son shot him. According to multiple reports, the
- 36:29Speaker 1: mother entered the business to get some food while her
- 36:32Speaker 1: fourteen year old son waited in the car. Shortly after,
- 36:35Speaker 1: Brown entered the restaurant and an argument broke out between
- 36:38Speaker 1: him and the mother. Police said the mother was texting
- 36:42Speaker 1: her son from the store, signaling him and he entered
- 36:46Speaker 1: the restaurant. During the argument, at some point, the victim
- 36:49Speaker 1: punched the mother in the head multiple times. Shortly after this,
- 36:56Speaker 1: police said, the woman's son pulled out a gun and
- 36:59Speaker 1: fired mu bull shots at the man. There are also
- 37:02Speaker 1: reports that Brown attempted to flee the restaurant. However, the
- 37:05Speaker 1: team chased him outside before firing several more gun shots.
- 37:09Speaker 1: He was pronounced dead at the scene. So, I mean,
- 37:13Speaker 1: hearing this story, you can certainly understand why the charges
- 37:16Speaker 1: were dropped. I mean, I guess, yeah, absolutely, this is
- 37:21Speaker 1: his mother and someone's beating his mother in the head.
- 37:24Speaker 1: Come on, now, grown mad.
- 37:25Speaker 5: I don't understand any man who has let something so
- 37:31Speaker 5: small get up under your skin to where the point
- 37:33Speaker 5: that you want to call back and hit a female
- 37:37Speaker 5: over and over in a period.
- 37:40Speaker 4: I just don't get it.
- 37:41Speaker 5: I don't understand what has made you that mad that
- 37:43Speaker 5: you're gonna hit a woman, and a woman that's way
- 37:46Speaker 5: older than you. What is this about at a at
- 37:49Speaker 5: a fast food restaurant picking up food? What can we
- 37:51Speaker 5: possibly be upset and arguing about to get you to
- 37:55Speaker 5: this point where where you didn't you didn't looked up
- 37:59Speaker 5: and on my grandma if you're saying anything else to me,
- 38:01Speaker 5: and then all of a sudden you just didn't start swinging.
- 38:03Speaker 4: On this lady.
- 38:04Speaker 5: What is it all?
- 38:06Speaker 7: You?
- 38:08Speaker 5: Yeah, all you all you men out there, y'all got
- 38:10Speaker 5: to talk young young, old young man, and especially to
- 38:14Speaker 5: young y'all gotta realize we cannot be getting upset to
- 38:17Speaker 5: the point but we find off on these ladies like this.
- 38:20Speaker 7: What what is that right?
- 38:22Speaker 3: That is?
- 38:22Speaker 7: That is not a man?
- 38:24Speaker 1: And you know what, your uncle has his mentoring camp
- 38:29Speaker 1: to teach young men who don't have fathers in their
- 38:31Speaker 1: home and I'm glad you're saying it. Now tell me
- 38:34Speaker 1: that this is not proper. You don't act like this.
- 38:37Speaker 1: You don't hit women. You're way stronger than women. The
- 38:40Speaker 1: voice of a punch to the head from a man
- 38:43Speaker 1: to a woman. Come on, now, walk When.
- 38:48Speaker 9: There are disagreements and arguments, you have to walk away.
- 38:53Speaker 9: The outcome is danger.
- 38:55Speaker 1: Could be deadly. Yeah, like in this day, right and
- 38:59Speaker 1: one again. Shout out to Cook County State's Attorney Kim
- 39:02Speaker 1: Fox for handling this. Coming up at thirty four minutes
- 39:05Speaker 1: after the hour, we'll switch gears and ask Acru some
- 39:07Speaker 1: fun and some thought provoking questions right after this you're
- 39:12Speaker 1: listening Morning show. All right, guys, it is time out

- 39:51Speaker 9: When I played house and lived with this dude that
- 39:53Speaker 9: I had broke up with, my grandfather told me that's

- 40:17Speaker 5: Yeah, it's a bit of sweet, you know what I mean.

- 41:13Speaker 5: Yeah, you had your grandmama drive way and press you.
- 41:16Speaker 5: My mama daddy wasn't coming Lane Highway at that time.

- 53:47Speaker 1: letter live on the air, just like we're gonna read
- 53:50Speaker 1: this one right here, right now, and you never know,
- 53:53Speaker 1: it could be yours.
- 53:55Speaker 4: It could be yours. Buckle up and hold on tight.
- 53:57Speaker 4: We guide it for you.
- 53:58Speaker 1: Here it is straw Thank you. Nephew's subject. He bought
- 54:02Speaker 1: us the same pair of shoes. See if it were me,
- 54:05Speaker 1: I would just stop right there because somebody would be dead.
- 54:08Speaker 1: All right here. Stephen Shirley, my husband and I have
- 54:11Speaker 1: been married for almost six years. I work at a
- 54:13Speaker 1: major airlines and he works in health management as a
- 54:16Speaker 1: hiring manager. He recently came home telling me about an
- 54:19Speaker 1: outstanding woman that his company recently hired. He told me
- 54:23Speaker 1: where she was from and where she worked before he
- 54:26Speaker 1: hired her. He told me everything about the woman, and
- 54:29Speaker 1: so I knew he thought she was something special because
- 54:33Speaker 1: I know my man. I started checking out her social
- 54:36Speaker 1: media pages and she is beautiful and she changes up
- 54:39Speaker 1: her look all the time with different hairstyles. I kept
- 54:43Speaker 1: hearing about her doing outstanding things in the office, and
- 54:46Speaker 1: I brought it to my husband's attention that he used
- 54:49Speaker 1: quote outstanding to describe a lot of things about her.
- 54:53Speaker 1: He responded by telling me that she is so outstanding
- 54:56Speaker 1: that she helped me. She helped him pick out some
- 54:59Speaker 1: things for me for my birthday. I told him I
- 55:02Speaker 1: didn't like that at all, and I would have been
- 55:04Speaker 1: happy with the same old gift card he gives me
- 55:06Speaker 1: every year. I got the gift a week later. It
- 55:10Speaker 1: was a pair of Gucci heels that I told my
- 55:12Speaker 1: husband I wanted. I stopped complaining then because my shoes
- 55:16Speaker 1: were the perfect gift and I felt like he actually
- 55:19Speaker 1: listened to me. I was happy until two weeks later
- 55:22Speaker 1: when I saw my husband's outstanding coworker wearing the same shoes.
- 55:28Speaker 1: I questioned my husband, and instead of lying, he said
- 55:32Speaker 1: he purchased the shoes for her as a work perk
- 55:36Speaker 1: because she was so helpful with getting my gift and
- 55:38Speaker 1: bringing a lot of organization to the office. I put
- 55:41Speaker 1: my shoes back in the box and told him to
- 55:44Speaker 1: return them. He can't understand why I don't want the shoes,
- 55:48Speaker 1: whether his intentions were pure or not, he was out
- 55:51Speaker 1: of line for buying us the same gift. Am I
- 55:54Speaker 1: right or wrong? Okay, you were right, you were right,
- 55:56Speaker 1: you were right. But let's go back for a moment
- 56:00Speaker 1: and talk about how this man, your husband is just
- 56:02Speaker 1: coming home praising this woman right in front of you,
- 56:05Speaker 1: like it's nothing. You don't do that. That's stupid. You
- 56:08Speaker 1: don't do that. You say, we got a new coworker.
- 56:11Speaker 1: She's pretty cool whatever, whatever she's outstanding she does. You know,
- 56:15Speaker 1: every time she got something to say, No, stupid, you
- 56:19Speaker 1: don't do that. All right, all right, man to the wife,
- 56:23Speaker 1: You're definitely right, you are right. Please do not question yourself.
- 56:28Speaker 1: You have every right to be feeling some kind of
- 56:30Speaker 1: way about the stupid thing your man did. He should
- 56:33Speaker 1: know better too, But I guess he's just stupid in
- 56:36Speaker 1: this way, like a lot of men are in this
- 56:39Speaker 1: particular way. He obviously never saw Carla, one of our
- 56:42Speaker 1: favorite movies from Spike Lee Mobetta Blues, when bleak about
- 56:47Speaker 1: his girlfriends the same dress. It didn't work out for Denzel.
- 56:52Speaker 4: Nice dress, that was a nice dress.
- 56:53Speaker 5: Off that really nice dress.
- 56:55Speaker 4: Shut up.
- 56:58Speaker 1: Not even Denzel could get away with this one. A
- 57:01Speaker 1: woman wants to feel special, she wants to feel loved,
- 57:05Speaker 1: and certainly you woman, your woman, your wife does not
- 57:08Speaker 1: want to put the same be put in the same
- 57:10Speaker 1: category as one of your coworkers. Come on, now, that's
- 57:13Speaker 1: what buying her the same pair of shoes feels like
- 57:16Speaker 1: to her? It feels nothing special, like nothing nothing special,
- 57:20Speaker 1: or she just feels the same. It's insulting. As the
- 57:25Speaker 1: number one woman in your life, supposedly, that's insulting. You
- 57:29Speaker 1: know you don't do this and Gucci shoes are expensive.
- 57:32Speaker 1: What are you doing? What are you doing? It was
- 57:35Speaker 1: stupid on his part to buy you both the same shoes.
- 57:37Speaker 1: He needs to take them back, just like you said.
- 57:40Speaker 1: He needs to buy you something bigger, something better, and
- 57:43Speaker 1: something way more expensive. What time period?
- 57:47Speaker 3: Here's what?
- 57:49Speaker 1: Yes, Evan, let me say this and.
- 57:51Speaker 4: I want you to hear me.
- 57:52Speaker 5: Clar is people out here with no feet and you
- 57:57Speaker 5: are here complaining bout these shoes?
- 57:59Speaker 4: Are you seriously?
- 58:02Speaker 1: He went, Mia, Angelouana.
- 58:04Speaker 4: Liple out here with no feet and you'll complaining about you.
- 58:08Speaker 5: There's people with no feet. You blessed to have feet.
- 58:13Speaker 5: The man had decided to get you some shoes to
- 58:15Speaker 5: put on they just happened to look like somebody else's.
- 58:18Speaker 5: And you wouldn't even know that if you wasn't all
- 58:20Speaker 5: on the website, all up in the woman business every
- 58:22Speaker 5: damn day.
- 58:23Speaker 4: Every day.
- 58:23Speaker 5: You're trying to check this woman out. That's what you're doing.
- 58:26Speaker 5: Leave this woman alone, let her have her why, y'all?
- 58:28Speaker 4: Okay?
- 58:30Speaker 5: Then Gucci made more than one pass shoe. They make
- 58:32Speaker 5: different sizes, make the shoes three time, make the same
- 58:36Speaker 5: shoe three both. The man's classy enough to give you
- 58:39Speaker 5: some nice, nice high end shoes. You should be excited
- 58:43Speaker 5: about that. Now, he didn't help the other lady at
- 58:46Speaker 5: the job because she's doing well at the job.
- 58:49Speaker 4: What's wrong with that?
- 58:51Speaker 5: And he it ain't nothing wrong because guess what, he
- 58:53Speaker 5: ain't lied by nothing. He'd have told the truth all
- 58:56Speaker 5: the way through. What's wrong?
- 58:58Speaker 1: You're just like the man in the letters. Yeah, this
- 59:02Speaker 1: is there's nothing class about what he did.
- 59:05Speaker 5: But he's stupid with a conscious. Listen, he's trying with
- 59:09Speaker 5: a stupid with him. He has a purpose for this,
- 59:12Speaker 5: you know what I'm saying. The man trying to to
- 59:15Speaker 5: show the lady that she's doing well at the job.
- 59:17Speaker 5: That's what the man trying to show the lady she's
- 59:19Speaker 5: doing excellent at the job. Bought her some shoes. Guess what, wife,
- 59:23Speaker 5: you're doing well at the house. We're gonna buy you
- 59:25Speaker 5: some shoes too. Everybody's doing good, We're gonna buy some shoes. Okay, Now,
- 59:31Speaker 5: it ain't like y'all finna go somewhere and y'all are
- 59:32Speaker 5: all there at the same time. And here y'all are
- 59:34Speaker 5: both got y'all shoes on, and one is upstage and
- 59:37Speaker 5: the other one wear your shoes over there at your place.
- 59:41Speaker 4: She wear hers at her job.
- 59:43Speaker 5: What is the big deal? You really don't you loser?
- 59:48Speaker 5: I'm not a loser. And you're gonna take that ale
- 59:50Speaker 5: off your head. You're gonna take that ale off your head,
- 59:53Speaker 5: y'all listen, listen, So so I can't. I can't.
- 59:58Speaker 4: I can't buy y'all the same of something you were.
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: Sure not your wives. It's different.
- 1:00:03Speaker 4: We're not always saying it.
- 1:00:04Speaker 5: Your wife is up here, my wife, nice little little
- 1:00:09Speaker 5: Gucci watch.
- 1:00:10Speaker 4: What about buy y'all little Gucci watch.
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: She's alright listening, Yeah, all right, whatever, But everybody gonna
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: know what time we'll have Part two of the Strawberry
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: Letter coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening morning show. All right, it's
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: time for us to recap today's strawberry letter. The subject
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: is he bought us the same pair of shoes. A
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: woman wrote in She's a wife. She and her husband
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: have been married for almost six years. She works, he works,
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: But one day he came home telling his wife all
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: about this new coworker that he has. How outstanding she is,
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: how this she is, how that she is, she's fabulous,
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: she's wonderful, she's outstanding. Every day his wife has to
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: hear this about this new woman. So the wife went
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: on social media and look this woman up. Yes, she's beautiful.
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: She changes her looks all the time with different hairstyles
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: and all of this stuff. And so the wife's birthday
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: was coming up. The husband took the coworker to help
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: him buy the wife's some gifts. So the wife had
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: told the husband that she wanted a pair of Gucci shoes.
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: So the husband bought the wife a pair of Gucci shoes,
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: took them home to the wife. The wife was very
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: happy because that's what she wanted. But come to find out,
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: the co worker has the same shoes that her husband bought.
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: The husband doesn't understand why the wife is so upset
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: about this. She told the husband to take the shoes back.
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: She put him in the box, told him to take
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: them back. He can't understand why she doesn't want the shoes,
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: and the woman wants to know. The wife wants to
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: know was she wrong or right about telling him to
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: take the shoes back?
- 1:01:55Speaker 5: All right?
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: I said, most definitely. He's stupid. It was a stupid
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: thing to do.
- 1:02:00Speaker 6: This is not what you do.
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: On top of being at home, uh, talking about how
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: outstanding the woman is. Tommy said, what's the big deal?
- 1:02:11Speaker 4: Gucci man?
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: All right, Junior, you're up what you got?
- 1:02:17Speaker 4: You know you're not doing the commercial break. I was praying.
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: I was praying, Oh what were you praying for?
- 1:02:23Speaker 4: I said, Lord, don't let me be this stupid.
- 1:02:25Speaker 11: Lord, take this come from me. I'm not understanding how
- 1:02:30Speaker 11: he did this. He got to come home and tell
- 1:02:33Speaker 11: his wife that another woman he worked with his outstanding.
- 1:02:37Speaker 11: Come on, he sure got to talk a lot. He
- 1:02:39Speaker 11: got to say a lot of things.
- 1:02:40Speaker 4: He got to say everything he wanted to say. Outstanding.
- 1:02:44Speaker 4: He's sure get to express hisself a lot.
- 1:02:46Speaker 3: I don't.
- 1:02:47Speaker 11: I don't see shirlan call and letting neither one of
- 1:02:50Speaker 11: your husbands keep talking about another woman that's outstanding.
- 1:02:56Speaker 4: Yeah in your house.
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: You show get to live your life a lot because
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: I can't see how they hit it. Chris Man, you
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: shall get to keep living.
- 1:03:08Speaker 7: Man.
- 1:03:08Speaker 11: I can't not understand where is your obituary, because that's
- 1:03:13Speaker 11: what we need to be looking at.
- 1:03:15Speaker 4: What happened to him?
- 1:03:16Speaker 11: He kept telling his wife and she was out another
- 1:03:18Speaker 11: woman was outstanding, so they just snapped on.
- 1:03:20Speaker 4: I'm telling you, man, I can't understand this.
- 1:03:22Speaker 11: It's like he ain't got nothing wrong with him, so
- 1:03:25Speaker 11: I ain't no injuries, nothing. He just in the house
- 1:03:28Speaker 11: keeps saying outstanding.
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: She just put the shoes back in the box and
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: told him to take them.
- 1:03:33Speaker 4: Put the shoes back.
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: The shoes should have been some Well.
- 1:03:38Speaker 4: That's for the shoes should have been. Yeah, that's where
- 1:03:42Speaker 4: the shoes.
- 1:03:43Speaker 5: Should have been.
- 1:03:44Speaker 4: Damn, I gonna get this. I just really don't understand that.
- 1:03:47Speaker 11: I know we cannot go tell you cannot go on
- 1:03:49Speaker 11: your house man and start talking about another woman in
- 1:03:51Speaker 11: outstanding and your wife's standing.
- 1:03:53Speaker 13: There welling, Now, come on, he's a giver y'all.
- 1:04:04Speaker 5: See that's the problem. Y'all don't know somebody. See he's
- 1:04:07Speaker 5: a giver, you know, And he gave the young lady
- 1:04:09Speaker 5: something because he's been doing well at the job. If
- 1:04:12Speaker 5: you know what, you have that beautiful wife at your house,
- 1:04:14Speaker 5: you know where you should get your wife some big
- 1:04:16Speaker 5: shoes too, And he did that. He has a lie
- 1:04:18Speaker 5: about anything. All he's doing is being himself. And you
- 1:04:22Speaker 5: guys got the nurse tat a man down when he
- 1:04:24Speaker 5: out there just giving and giving. And we all if
- 1:04:27Speaker 5: the world would be more gives, when would the world
- 1:04:30Speaker 5: be a better.
- 1:04:30Speaker 4: Place, wouldn't it?
- 1:04:33Speaker 3: You?
- 1:04:33Speaker 8: What's wrong?
- 1:04:34Speaker 7: World?
- 1:04:34Speaker 5: We sick?
- 1:04:36Speaker 4: We sick?
- 1:04:36Speaker 5: World?
- 1:04:36Speaker 4: Yes, what's wrong?
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: What's going on?
- 1:04:38Speaker 5: World?
- 1:04:39Speaker 4: Come on? We are a giver.
- 1:04:42Speaker 5: If he bought his wife some nice line the raids
- 1:04:44Speaker 5: and stuff like that, and bought the same thing for
- 1:04:46Speaker 5: the lady, then I understand her getting the little upset.
- 1:04:48Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying. The draws and shoes is different.
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: Yeah, in our minds is your husband.
- 1:04:57Speaker 9: My husband cannot buy his coworker Gucci shoes. No period,
- 1:05:03Speaker 9: Tommy period that at.
- 1:05:04Speaker 4: The end of the story. Okay, how about some products,
- 1:05:07Speaker 4: how about some prod thing?
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: Louis product and luxury and yeah.
- 1:05:15Speaker 4: Okay, what what what kind of shoes you want? Want
- 1:05:18Speaker 4: to have?
- 1:05:18Speaker 7: What she was?
- 1:05:21Speaker 4: Some blip flops?
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: I don't care what.
- 1:05:25Speaker 4: I can't mind my husband's mind.
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: Come you don't see that?
- 1:05:30Speaker 4: JU can see that, can see that he's west And
- 1:05:33Speaker 4: I just prayed about it.
- 1:05:34Speaker 3: I know.
- 1:05:34Speaker 4: I got to the Gucci stove coworker. You can't file
- 1:05:43Speaker 4: paperwork that well and get some Guccies. I don't. You can't.
- 1:05:47Speaker 4: You can't type that well, giving no shoes, You can't
- 1:05:52Speaker 4: do that.
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: Gucci shoes.
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: First of all, that's inappropriate for him to do.
- 1:05:58Speaker 7: To do that, and.
- 1:06:00Speaker 4: Come on, hr, come on, hr, which I want go?
- 1:06:05Speaker 4: Go plea market? What do you want? Get shop? We're
- 1:06:07Speaker 4: trying to get back in.
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: We don't care what she wears. You know, he could
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: have given her anything else if he wanted to show appreciation.
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: It's maybe a small gift card, yeah, anything, But you
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: don't buy another woman this exact same thing you bought
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: your wife.
- 1:06:25Speaker 4: Maybe you should have got some different, so different coming
- 1:06:29Speaker 4: what you're.

- 1:10:56Speaker 1: work with a girl who is fine and she knows it.
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: More than a few guys have been reprimanded for staring,
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: commenting or whatever, and I've been very self aware about
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: what's gone on with other staff members and have been
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: good at keeping things professional. I'm guessing because of that,
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: she feels like she can trust me, because yesterday she
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: approached me with something that made me trip out. She
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: pulled me aside and told me she started an only
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: fans page and wanted me to check it out and
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: give my opinion. I politely but decline, but can't get
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: it out of my head. Was this some kind of trap?
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: Why would she share this with me? Considering how many
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: people have gotten into trouble on the other side of this?
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: Should I report her? This is not cool? Advice? Advice?
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: Appreciate it.
- 1:11:42Speaker 4: You don't report nothing?
- 1:11:44Speaker 5: Boy?
- 1:11:45Speaker 4: What she didn't give you the inside scoopy?
- 1:11:48Speaker 7: Did?
- 1:11:49Speaker 3: Dude?
- 1:11:49Speaker 4: What did you reporting her for?
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: Oh?
- 1:11:52Speaker 7: No, you got you?
- 1:11:53Speaker 5: Just tell her I will take a look at your
- 1:11:56Speaker 5: pageency if I like you didn't give you my thoughts
- 1:12:00Speaker 5: and ideas afterwards.
- 1:12:01Speaker 4: But we got to see, right, don't even want.
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: To see curiosity?
- 1:12:07Speaker 4: Give you like I'm out here by myself. Don't nobody
- 1:12:09Speaker 4: want to see?
- 1:12:11Speaker 5: Hell? Love?
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: You only asked him.
- 1:12:16Speaker 4: But in order to give her some constructive criticism, I
- 1:12:19Speaker 4: need to see.
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: Is that your area?
- 1:12:23Speaker 5: I'm not an expert, but I know greatness when I
- 1:12:26Speaker 5: see you know, let me let me look and then
- 1:12:30Speaker 5: I tell you what I think and will be gone.
- 1:12:34Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: Yeah, Well he's super suspicious though, was it some kind
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: of trap.
- 1:12:39Speaker 5: Would you like to see Jr?
- 1:12:40Speaker 4: Yes it is, and fall in it.
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: Get in the trap?
- 1:12:46Speaker 11: Yeah, yeah, fall right into it. Professional opinion about the page.
- 1:12:53Speaker 4: So I don't know how this works because I've never
- 1:12:56Speaker 4: been on.
- 1:12:57Speaker 5: So do you join this? Is it cost to join
- 1:13:00Speaker 5: in and go see somebody? I'm assuming it does. That's
- 1:13:02Speaker 5: how they make money.
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: I'm asu, Yeah, they have to make money that way people.
- 1:13:09Speaker 7: Is that what it is? Yeah?
- 1:13:12Speaker 4: Is my card anywhere on.
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: Final Well, I don't think they take cash, Tommy.
- 1:13:16Speaker 4: So I'm asking for a franchure.
- 1:13:18Speaker 2: Is my card?
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: Well, I'm telling you to tell your friend you got
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: to have your card? Yes, considering you know what he's
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: This guy is really concerned though, because he wants to
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: know if it's some kind of trap. Junior said, yes,
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: fall in and and he wants to know why would
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: she share this with him in particular, in other words,
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: does she like him? Does she really want his opinion?
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: Or does she's trying Is she trying to lure him
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: to her page? Hoping she's advertising? That's advertising, that's all
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: that is. But yeah, you say go ahead and take
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: a look at it. Because he's saying people have gotten
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: in trouble because of this. So he that's why he doesn't.
- 1:14:00Speaker 5: He's he need to become somebody else, become another person,
- 1:14:04Speaker 5: different emails, different ways of being able to enter the site.
- 1:14:08Speaker 4: Don't go in there by your damnself using your stuff.
- 1:14:11Speaker 5: Stupid.
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: Okay, So I don't know much of I don't know
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: about his job, but here.
- 1:14:18Speaker 5: And I don't know much about this, but listen, they
- 1:14:20Speaker 5: have where you could go see people's feet. They got
- 1:14:23Speaker 5: all that on them.
- 1:14:23Speaker 7: And what I like?
- 1:14:25Speaker 4: What anything is?
- 1:14:26Speaker 5: Backs? I like wide backs?
- 1:14:28Speaker 4: You can see you got backs on that. You just
- 1:14:30Speaker 4: got this about what you want?
- 1:14:31Speaker 6: What do you you like?

- 1:20:16Speaker 5: Well?
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: From the Strawberry Letter, I learned that you're even more
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: stupid than we ever imagined. The Strawberry Letter was about
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: this man who bought his coworker and his wife the
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: same gift, a pair of Bucca shoes. I thought that
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: was crazy. Tommy thought it was all right. Thinks how
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: Gucci made more than one pair of shoes, Junior said,
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: absolutely not. How stupid could he be?
- 1:20:42Speaker 10: Nice?
- 1:20:43Speaker 5: High end pair of shoes, barely doing well at work?
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: Shoes? Don't say no, but you know, drolls about anyway.
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: I wanted to ask you guys this, Tommy and Jr.
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: What do you think is the best way to break
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: up a relationship? Just if you're in a relationship, what's
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: the best way to break up? Should you text the
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: person or should you see them face to face? I
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: know a lot of people are gonna say, well face
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: to face, Hey, why would you text the person? What
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: really difference does it make when you think about and
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: you're still breaking up?
- 1:21:25Speaker 4: Well, shul, it depends on what I did.
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: To break it up in the first place. Break up.
- 1:21:32Speaker 11: If I did something horrib like I called cheese or
- 1:21:34Speaker 11: something like that, probably won't text this information.
- 1:21:38Speaker 8: Probably want to.
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: Be sitting there killed.
- 1:21:41Speaker 4: Yes, that's that's what it depends on. You just ain't
- 1:21:44Speaker 4: getting along.
- 1:21:44Speaker 11: I can't tell you face to face, but it is
- 1:21:46Speaker 11: somebody else involved who will.
- 1:21:48Speaker 4: Have to text this information came to get faith.
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: But if you didn't do that, why why face to face?
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: I'm curious why you would say that we feel.
- 1:22:01Speaker 4: Like I ain't did nothing.
- 1:22:02Speaker 11: If I ain't doing nothing terrible, like I didn't get
- 1:22:04Speaker 11: caught cheating them it. I just can't get along with you.
- 1:22:06Speaker 11: I come tell you that faith faith. Look here this
- 1:22:08Speaker 11: even saying yeah, oh hey listen, call listen, I'm telling
- 1:22:12Speaker 11: right out.
- 1:22:13Speaker 4: I've been thinking about it and on your attitude. We
