THE TAKE 12 RECOVERY RADIO SHOWMark Elder was born in Spokane, Wa. In the early 50’s. He started playing guitar at age eleven and studied guitar under the jazz guitarist John LaChapelle in Richland, Wa. Mark started songwriting in his teens and has been writing and performing music for 45 years. In 1971 he joined the band Bordersong and in 1975 they recorded the album “Morning” in which Ann and Nancy Wilson sang background vocals on Mark’s song “It’s Time Agan”.
