- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time. I
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a sun giving them like the
- 0:15Speaker 1: million bucks things, and it's cost me true good Steve
- 0:24Speaker 1: listening to the other for st Please, I don't join me.
- 0:58Speaker 1: You gotta turn you, you gotta turn to turn them out. Turn.
- 1:43Speaker 1: You haven't got to turn them out to turn the
- 1:46Speaker 1: water the water got me? Come come on your fad
- 2:01Speaker 1: uh huh. I shall will a good morning everybody. You're
- 2:06Speaker 1: listening to the voice, Come on, come on, y'all dig
- 2:09Speaker 1: me now. One and only Steve Harvey got a radio
- 2:12Speaker 1: show man. Is God good to me? Unbelievable? Yeah, it is,
- 2:17Speaker 1: And I can only attribute it to one thing. It's
- 2:21Speaker 1: just been a turnaround in my life. It's it's been
- 2:24Speaker 1: me finally making a decision to see what all God
- 2:28Speaker 1: has for me, but at the same time trying to
- 2:31Speaker 1: be more God wants me to be instead of more
- 2:33Speaker 1: of what I want to be. That's the trade off.
- 2:36Speaker 1: You know, you gotta do something now. You know you
- 2:38Speaker 1: know you want God's blessings, you gotta be willing to
- 2:41Speaker 1: do something on his behalf. Now. I'm not saying I
- 2:44Speaker 1: got it right right now because I'm just being real
- 2:48Speaker 1: with you. I don't I don't have it all together
- 2:51Speaker 1: by any stretch of imagination. I'm trying to get better
- 2:55Speaker 1: in several areas. I'm praying about it, I'm working on it,
- 2:59Speaker 1: but you know, it's surprised and I've I've grown to
- 3:02Speaker 1: accept the process. But I'm improving in a lot of
- 3:05Speaker 1: areas from day to day. But I'll tell you what, man,
- 3:08Speaker 1: my success all is going on with me I can
- 3:11Speaker 1: only attribute to this turnaround. And the turnaround was simple.
- 3:15Speaker 1: I turned around and started looking at God. That was
- 3:20Speaker 1: a simple move, man. I just turned around and started
- 3:22Speaker 1: looking at him, and I was going, Okay, I get it. Now,
- 3:26Speaker 1: you created me. You're the creator. You have a purpose
- 3:30Speaker 1: for me. I understand that. Now. Now let me just
- 3:34Speaker 1: walk in that purpose and let me get to doing
- 3:37Speaker 1: that purpose. Now, my purpose and your purpose and their
- 3:41Speaker 1: purpose and anybody's perfect purpose could be different, and the
- 3:45Speaker 1: way you go about the purpose can be different. And
- 3:49Speaker 1: that's the part that I've really grown up to. I've
- 3:52Speaker 1: opened up my mind to understanding that everybody's different, nobody's
- 3:57Speaker 1: quite the same, and that is not my right or
- 3:59Speaker 1: position to judge, but to be of a forgiving spirit
- 4:04Speaker 1: and understand and forgive those as I ask God to
- 4:06Speaker 1: forgive me. See that's the key. That's the key, y'all.
- 4:11Speaker 1: So when you out here and you stuck on this unforgiveness,
- 4:15Speaker 1: understand in the large prayer as a segment that says,
- 4:20Speaker 1: forgive us our trust passes as we forgive those who
- 4:23Speaker 1: trust pass against us. There's another version says forgive us
- 4:27Speaker 1: our debts as we forgive our debt us. It's two
- 4:29Speaker 1: different versions, but either one it means the exact same thing.
- 4:35Speaker 1: It means simply this that you are asking God to
- 4:40Speaker 1: forgive yours like you forgive others. Forgive us our trust
- 4:45Speaker 1: passes as we forgive those who trust pass against us.
- 4:48Speaker 1: When I crossed the line with you, God handle me
- 4:52Speaker 1: the way I handle people when they cross the line
- 4:55Speaker 1: with me. You feel what I'm saying to you? See
- 4:58Speaker 1: you understand that. That's the breakdown of it. Best way
- 5:01Speaker 1: I can give it to you. Forgive us our trust
- 5:04Speaker 1: passes as we forgive those who trust pass against us.
- 5:08Speaker 1: Forgive me God for stepping over the line, like I
- 5:11Speaker 1: forgive those that step over the line on me. That's
- 5:14Speaker 1: the hard part, man, that's the part man I've really
- 5:17Speaker 1: been working on I've been really trying to get that together.
- 5:20Speaker 1: And so I've learned forgiveness a lot better over the
- 5:23Speaker 1: past five years than I have before. And it's paid off.
- 5:28Speaker 1: I can't tell you how it was paid off, because
- 5:31Speaker 1: now God's mercy and grace is all over me, because
- 5:36Speaker 1: I've learned to become more graceful. Now. I ain't graceful
- 5:40Speaker 1: like him, I ain't merciful like him, but I've learned
- 5:45Speaker 1: to become more more graceful, more merciful, because man, I
- 5:50Speaker 1: can't live my life like that. I just got sick
- 5:52Speaker 1: of me. Man, you're mad at me now, I'm mad
- 5:54Speaker 1: at you. You hate on me, Now I'm gonna hate
- 5:57Speaker 1: on you. I ain't got time for that. Man, I've
- 6:00Speaker 1: got you. Look here, you got somewhere to go. Hate
- 6:03Speaker 1: take up time. It's time consuming. Hating Trying to seek revenge,
- 6:10Speaker 1: it's time consuming. It take up way too much of
- 6:13Speaker 1: your time to seek revenge when vengeance ain't really yours.
- 6:17Speaker 1: That's another one. Vengeance is mine, say if the lord
- 6:21Speaker 1: it ain't yours. So now when you go to seek it,
- 6:24Speaker 1: to take it out, guess what you're doing. You're doing
- 6:26Speaker 1: something now man, Now you off in the area that
- 6:30Speaker 1: you've got no business being in, and instead of steady
- 6:33Speaker 1: climbing your leadder like you're supposed to, you didn't take
- 6:36Speaker 1: out time for vengeance to hate. I'm a hater. I'm
- 6:41Speaker 1: gonna be a blogger. I'm a blog about so and so.
- 6:45Speaker 1: When you're blogging about somebody, and most of these people
- 6:48Speaker 1: you don't even know when you're blogging about somebody, what
- 6:51Speaker 1: you're doing, what you're hating. It takes time to hate. Man.
- 6:57Speaker 1: I just decided, Man, I gotta take all my time
- 7:02Speaker 1: and instead of have doing time and being active, I
- 7:06Speaker 1: got to be proactive. See some people get that confused,
- 7:10Speaker 1: being active and being proactive. Pro is positive. Pro means
- 7:16Speaker 1: to move forward. You know, if you put pro in
- 7:19Speaker 1: front of most words, it's a positive influx. You know,
- 7:22Speaker 1: does the pros and the cons. The pros is the
- 7:26Speaker 1: good side, the cons is what can go wrong the
- 7:29Speaker 1: bad side. You know, if you're active, that's one thing,
- 7:32Speaker 1: But if you're pro active, you're going forward in a
- 7:35Speaker 1: positive direction. When you become a pro that means you
- 7:40Speaker 1: the best of the best at whatever it is you
- 7:42Speaker 1: chosen to be. I'm a pro so somehow and I
- 7:46Speaker 1: know English teacher grammatical God. The word pro a lot
- 7:52Speaker 1: of times when you put it in front of something
- 7:55Speaker 1: means positiveness. So now a lot of people think that
- 7:59Speaker 1: if you as active, something all to happen. Well, I'm
- 8:02Speaker 1: doing something, and that's what happens. Man, We just find
- 8:05Speaker 1: ourselves doing a lot of busy work that really ain't
- 8:07Speaker 1: bout nothing, and it ain't going the way. It ain't
- 8:09Speaker 1: got no direction or no purpose because we haven't tried
- 8:12Speaker 1: to find out the direction or purpose. So you wake
- 8:15Speaker 1: up and you and your wheels are spinning. You a
- 8:18Speaker 1: hamster on a tread meal. You're running real fast, but
- 8:21Speaker 1: you're just going in the same spot. You understand that's
- 8:24Speaker 1: cause you're just out here being active instead of proactive.
- 8:27Speaker 1: Why don't you get God in your life. Why don't
- 8:29Speaker 1: you turn and face your creative and find out how
- 8:32Speaker 1: to become more proactive so you can do things to
- 8:36Speaker 1: move yourself forward. How you can get your life off
- 8:39Speaker 1: the ground and get off the tread meal and really
- 8:42Speaker 1: get it rolling in the direction that it need to
- 8:44Speaker 1: be going. Man, I'm telling you God can make that
- 8:48Speaker 1: change for you if he see you making the change
- 8:51Speaker 1: for him. See the whole key man, the whole kids.
- 8:55Speaker 1: You got to be willing to do something. You got
- 8:58Speaker 1: to give God something to black. Bless me God, and
- 9:02Speaker 1: then you go sit on your couch and you ain't trying. Okay,
- 9:05Speaker 1: bless me God with what? What? What? What are working with?
- 9:10Speaker 1: He can't have the people hire you if you ain't
- 9:12Speaker 1: put the app in. Come on, man, the blessing comes
- 9:16Speaker 1: when you make a proactive step, when you try to
- 9:19Speaker 1: do something on the positive side. Look, man, I'm gonna
- 9:23Speaker 1: quit messing around with all these people. I'm gonna start
- 9:26Speaker 1: going home. I'm gonna leave these women loan out here.
- 9:28Speaker 1: You got to say, all right, man, I ain't going
- 9:30Speaker 1: over that at night. I just ain't gonna get Then
- 9:33Speaker 1: God can work with you. God help me stop seeing
- 9:36Speaker 1: all these women. But you steady going over there calling
- 9:40Speaker 1: them setting up stuff. We can't nobody help you because
- 9:44Speaker 1: once you get over there, you already know. See, you
- 9:48Speaker 1: gotta get proactive. You gotta do something yourself. You make
- 9:51Speaker 1: one step, he'll make two. That that's the key, man.
- 9:55Speaker 1: So come on, y'all, you're listening show, ladies and gentlemen.
- 10:03Speaker 1: It is upon us. It is the morning hour. It
- 10:07Speaker 1: is a moment that We've been waiting for all night.
- 10:11Speaker 1: To be honest with you, I was hoping I would
- 10:16Speaker 1: be here when it arrived. I am here, grateful, motivated, favorite,
- 10:28Speaker 1: and relentless in my pursuit of happiness. Even though the
- 10:34Speaker 1: Constitution is not talking to us. I am in pursuit
- 10:41Speaker 1: of my inalienable right to that pursuit of happiness. Damn it,
- 10:47Speaker 1: here I am, Ladies and gentlemen, Shirley's talking. I like it. Steve,
- 10:52Speaker 1: good morning, good morning, and calif Rever, good morning. Happy Friday.
- 10:57Speaker 1: Never man legend that is junior whatever. Everybody morning, the
- 11:03Speaker 1: old and nearly defeated and very bitter about it for
- 11:10Speaker 1: the survival. J Anthony Brown, what what whatever? Whatever, mister
- 11:15Speaker 1: hardad ignorant at a whole another level, PhD in m M.
- 11:26Speaker 1: Your side, your side, it's Friday. Whoa it's happening, ye
- 11:35Speaker 1: r I t y it's Friday. Yeah, yeah, good, it's great.
- 11:42Speaker 1: And you don't like Friday's wine netew because it's too
- 11:46Speaker 1: close to Mundy who That makes a lot of sense.
- 11:50Speaker 1: But if you sounded excited about I get excited until
- 11:55Speaker 1: Sad to come call you know what. It's logic, right yeah, man,
- 12:00Speaker 1: right up, on Monday. God, So don't ask your question
- 12:04Speaker 1: to sure, what are you happy? What day am I
- 12:12Speaker 1: happy with? What's your favorite days? Too? Thurst? I like
- 12:18Speaker 1: thirsty thirst because we almost like the weekend starts for
- 12:24Speaker 1: me actually on Thursday. But being sad. But if you
- 12:31Speaker 1: don't like the next day, which is Friday, because it's
- 12:34Speaker 1: too close to Monday. That's why I'm trying to piece
- 12:37Speaker 1: this together. A struggling over here. You like a headache
- 12:45Speaker 1: you got, this is your nephew. You got to be
- 12:48Speaker 1: worried about this. Thursday is fold days. Thursday's fold days
- 12:57Speaker 1: away from Monday. Either either way you go talk think
- 13:00Speaker 1: about Monday is just bad. So Thursday's four ways away
- 13:08Speaker 1: either way. You look at it well and see what
- 13:12Speaker 1: you don't understand? Why you saying Thursday and Friday and
- 13:17Speaker 1: using Monday because you can't say Wednesday. The truth I say, Quinny,
- 13:28Speaker 1: say what I could say, Quinn? Quinsay in time? I
- 13:32Speaker 1: want to say, Quinn, that's not it? All right, listen,
- 13:37Speaker 1: all right, we'll be back with more of the Steve
- 13:39Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show right after this. You're listening show. What
- 13:46Speaker 1: was the best summer job you ever had? And what
- 13:49Speaker 1: job would you not do again, no matter how much
- 13:52Speaker 1: you paid, Steve, what job would I not do again?
- 13:56Speaker 1: No matter how much you paid? That found you? If
- 14:00Speaker 1: for a motor company, Oh, you wouldn't do that. I
- 14:04Speaker 1: wouldn't do that, and I would not do no. But
- 14:07Speaker 1: the worst that you know, they found you. I didn't
- 14:10Speaker 1: like it. The similar line at Forward Man, that's some
- 14:14Speaker 1: cool people I work with. That wasn't bad. Going to
- 14:17Speaker 1: work wasn't what I was meant to do. But uh, though,
- 14:21Speaker 1: Lincoln Electric is the worst job I've ever had. I hated.
- 14:25Speaker 1: What did you do there? What did you do there?
- 14:27Speaker 1: I wrapped corel wire? It's really it's tough. You know
- 14:32Speaker 1: what dies are. Dies are these small round things that
- 14:36Speaker 1: you pull wire through, and every die gets smaller. So
- 14:40Speaker 1: the wire goes through and compresses and shaves down and
- 14:43Speaker 1: gets thinner and thinner. So let's say the wire starts
- 14:47Speaker 1: like a microphone cord, okay, and what you're trying to
- 14:51Speaker 1: get it down to is a chord wire that goes
- 14:58Speaker 1: inside of inside to speak a while it is. So
- 15:04Speaker 1: you put it through the die and it goes through
- 15:07Speaker 1: this machine at a high speed, and every diet goes through,
- 15:10Speaker 1: every six eight feet gets smaller and smaller, and it
- 15:14Speaker 1: wraps up into a big coil and then you got
- 15:18Speaker 1: to box it up and put it on the palette. Now,
- 15:20Speaker 1: to break even, you had to make two hundred and
- 15:23Speaker 1: thirty eight boxes a day. Wow, it'd be some days.
- 15:27Speaker 1: I finished. I got eighty short. Ugly, I mean, you know,
- 15:38Speaker 1: but now you're gonna get a guarantee, uh huh. But
- 15:42Speaker 1: to get the bonus you had to make extra And
- 15:45Speaker 1: at the end of the year, guys was getting fifty
- 15:47Speaker 1: thousand dollar bonus. What you get I ain't never get
- 15:54Speaker 1: a bone. Oh you didn't even get a bonus period.
- 16:00Speaker 1: Well what about it? I mean, how could they do it? Why?
- 16:05Speaker 1: Why was you so slow with yours? You just I
- 16:10Speaker 1: hate it, man. I didn't like doing the mechanical work
- 16:12Speaker 1: to keep the line running because you had to change
- 16:14Speaker 1: your dies all the time because of inspected come by
- 16:18Speaker 1: and tell you that your wire has a score in it,
- 16:20Speaker 1: which means a little scratch. That means one of the
- 16:24Speaker 1: dies is wore out and you don't catch it, and
- 16:27Speaker 1: didn't the inspect it come by and x out all
- 16:31Speaker 1: your boxes in the box with the scores and it
- 16:35Speaker 1: got to go, So you lose fifteen fifteen boxes went
- 16:40Speaker 1: to inspected it. I hate it. Wow, you're depressed telling
- 16:46Speaker 1: us about it at that What how old were you then? Oh,
- 16:54Speaker 1: twenties three? So that was one of your first like
- 16:59Speaker 1: full time jobs. Right after? Did you quit? Did you
- 17:03Speaker 1: quit or they fired you? Yeah? I quit? I made
- 17:08Speaker 1: that story. What what is happening? You're not doing any business?
- 17:17Speaker 1: Your small business? Long open up the carb cleaning. Come.
- 17:23Speaker 1: I didn't have no loan. I just wanted to walk
- 17:26Speaker 1: out with dignity. Look, hall, man, we're gonna miss you. Man.
- 17:29Speaker 1: You're a good dude. Man. It was funny, man, you
- 17:32Speaker 1: kept us live in here. Many have been whooping your behind. Man,
- 17:39Speaker 1: So sad, I was dying man, and I worked midnight
- 17:45Speaker 1: shift from midnight to eight in the morning. I would
- 17:48Speaker 1: be so sweet coming home I drive by my exit. Wow,
- 17:52Speaker 1: that's how sleepy I would be. I would I miss
- 17:55Speaker 1: my exit at least five times. Okay, so let's switch
- 17:59Speaker 1: it and ask you what was the best summer job
- 18:02Speaker 1: you had? Because that depressed us all. Just I got
- 18:05Speaker 1: a job at the swimming pool as a lifeguard and
- 18:08Speaker 1: can't swim. That's the best job still Right in college,
- 18:13Speaker 1: I got a job at the swimming pool and watching
- 18:16Speaker 1: girls has a lifeguarding because just hoping was nobody get in?
- 18:21Speaker 1: Did anybody ever get in in a drastic situation? No,
- 18:27Speaker 1: thank god, you got lucky. Man. I had all them
- 18:32Speaker 1: life ra stuff out there. Everything. I had so much
- 18:35Speaker 1: stuff in the pool. I was throwing furniture in the pool.
- 18:37Speaker 1: I had so much furniture in the pool. One time,
- 18:39Speaker 1: one dude got in trouble and I threw so much
- 18:42Speaker 1: stuff in the pool he could walk out. He didn't
- 18:44Speaker 1: th a star phone cool lot there. I had so
- 18:47Speaker 1: much pool furniture that he can walk out. So they
- 18:51Speaker 1: didn't test you or anything to see if you could swim.
- 18:54Speaker 1: They just hired you on the spot. That's crazy. Well,
- 18:57Speaker 1: what it happened was my name was Steve Harvey. Yes,
- 19:01Speaker 1: of course it was a white guy to school named
- 19:03Speaker 1: Steve Darby. Okay, he didn't come to work, so I went, oh,
- 19:11Speaker 1: and he said you Steve see Jarvey. I went yeah,
- 19:15Speaker 1: just with no problem. He said, well here you go
- 19:18Speaker 1: handing me that little red thing. He said, where's your shorts?
- 19:22Speaker 1: So I told him I have him tomorrow. I just
- 19:23Speaker 1: bought my pants that I rolled him up and set
- 19:25Speaker 1: up on this chair, not a lifeguard told him my
- 19:34Speaker 1: name is Steve Harvey. I got paid man about six weeks.
- 19:38Speaker 1: What so Steve Darby never came back. The white guy,
- 19:45Speaker 1: I have no idea. What happened is due he ain't show. Wow,
- 19:49Speaker 1: Steve Harvey went on and then got the lifeguard position.
- 19:52Speaker 1: Anybody had a drown in their pool, they'd have been dead.
- 19:55Speaker 1: But god, I can't say nobody. Man, it wasn't about
- 19:59Speaker 1: to jump in that deep and in this five foot
- 20:07Speaker 1: and we noticed just when when ain't Marge you tried
- 20:09Speaker 1: to get in the water in Hawaii? You remember that
- 20:11Speaker 1: he almost had a bad Yes he did, Yes he did?
- 20:15Speaker 1: And you did you ever learn to swim? Steve? YEA.
- 20:18Speaker 1: I know how to swim a little bit. You know.
- 20:20Speaker 1: I I have get back back whatever I fell off
- 20:27Speaker 1: of I can swim good. He got get out, he
- 20:30Speaker 1: got get out that swim crossed down. That ain't gonna.
- 20:37Speaker 1: I'm so glad you found your purpose. I'm so glad
- 20:40Speaker 1: you found your purpose. I really somebody that's funny. Wow.
- 20:45Speaker 1: I know had a life going, but getting paid skinny
- 20:50Speaker 1: hass had some nice shots. Okay, we'll be back. You're listening.
- 20:55Speaker 1: Show coming up at the top of the hour, Miss
- 20:58Speaker 1: Anne will be here with today's national news and headlines.
- 21:02Speaker 1: But right now it's time for the nephew to run
- 21:05Speaker 1: that brank back. I have adult daycare. Yeah, that exists,
- 21:09Speaker 1: in case y'all didn't know adult daycare. Let's go. Okay, Hello, Hello,
- 21:14Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach miss Sharon's leaf. Yes, this is Sharon,
- 21:17Speaker 1: Miss Sharon is My name is Evan. I'm giving you
- 21:20Speaker 1: a call from adult daycare. Okay, because Black Daycare. My

- 21:36Speaker 1: to have you, and I want to just give you
- 21:39Speaker 1: a call and kind of give you the lay of

- 21:43Speaker 1: much fun you're gonna have being here most of the
- 21:45Speaker 1: day with herself. For my understanding is you're gonna be
- 21:49Speaker 1: here probably the majority of this year. What are you talking?
- 21:52Speaker 1: What are you talking about? Being there? Where? Here at
- 21:56Speaker 1: the adult daycare? Adult daycare? Where? Where's that? What are
- 22:02Speaker 1: you talking about? Okay? Evan? Is that what you said?
- 22:04Speaker 1: Your name is Evan, my name, My name is Evan, Yes, ma'am,
- 22:08Speaker 1: and your third daughter is Diane. Diane, that's what you
- 22:12Speaker 1: know my daughters? Yes, well, she's the one that has
- 22:15Speaker 1: you signed up. You're gonna be at the adult daycare,

- 22:20Speaker 1: and I know what the hell are you talking about, Evan, Evan,
- 22:22Speaker 1: hang on a second. All right, First of all, I

- 22:27Speaker 1: I don't know how the you know who my daughter is.
- 22:32Speaker 1: But this is this is really uh inappropriate and weird
- 22:36Speaker 1: and what you're trying to get? What do you what
- 22:39Speaker 1: do you want? Do you want money to me? Or
- 22:41Speaker 1: you like a solicitor? No? No, no, no, ma'am, No,
- 22:44Speaker 1: no no, not at all, as Sharon not. Your daughter
- 22:48Speaker 1: has signed you up to be here at the adult
- 22:51Speaker 1: daycare during the day, so I'm going to I don't
- 22:55Speaker 1: know what you're talking about. There's no way she would
- 22:57Speaker 1: do that adult day here. What do I need to
- 22:59Speaker 1: don't say? Here for so what? Well, evidently are you
- 23:03Speaker 1: home alone most of the time during the day. Who
- 23:06Speaker 1: cares if I'm home alone? Who? Why are you asking
- 23:08Speaker 1: me that you're trying to break into my house. No
- 23:13Speaker 1: you are, man, I don't know Sharon. Okay, look I'm
- 23:18Speaker 1: hooked up to that uh nine one month stuff. Thank
- 23:22Speaker 1: like I could just do a panicle right now and
- 23:25Speaker 1: they'll trace this call and then will come to you
- 23:28Speaker 1: and arrest you because you're harassing me. No, no, no, okay,
- 23:33Speaker 1: it's Sharon. I'm not harassing you. Your daughter, Diane came
- 23:37Speaker 1: in and signed up. Yes, she signed you up for
- 23:41Speaker 1: you to go to this daycare Monday to Friday. Why
- 23:44Speaker 1: she's at work, so she's going to be dropping you
- 23:47Speaker 1: off and then she'll pick you up in the evenings
- 23:49Speaker 1: on her way home from work. Where you got that from?
- 23:52Speaker 1: I don't know who told you that. Yeah, you got
- 23:54Speaker 1: my daughter's name. And this is really freaking me out,
- 23:57Speaker 1: you know a little bit over here, Ivan, I'm know
- 24:00Speaker 1: why you know my name? You know my daughter's name? Ah,
- 24:03Speaker 1: this is like the only reason miss Sharon is because
- 24:08Speaker 1: she came in and gave all the information and she
- 24:11Speaker 1: has paid for you to come to the adult daycare
- 24:14Speaker 1: on a daily by Yeah. Yeah, yeah, here what you
- 24:17Speaker 1: sound like a nice guy, you know what I mean? Like,
- 24:19Speaker 1: you're smooth, you got a nice voice, You're you're you know,
- 24:23Speaker 1: like you know what to say. I don't know who
- 24:25Speaker 1: the hell you are though, I don't know what you're
- 24:26Speaker 1: talking about, you know what I mean? Like, I'm not
- 24:29Speaker 1: going to no daycare center. I'm not going with daycare
- 24:32Speaker 1: center wards day because I'm fine. Just get that through
- 24:36Speaker 1: your head. There's nothing wrong with me. I stay home,
- 24:40Speaker 1: I got a dog, I walk the dog, I go
- 24:43Speaker 1: street shopping, my daughter comes over. Everything's fine. I don't
- 24:47Speaker 1: give no daycare center. Okay, Well stand what I'm saying
- 24:50Speaker 1: that there is there is there a reason why she
- 24:52Speaker 1: would sign you up, ma'am. She mustache, she must be
- 24:55Speaker 1: looking out for your best. You know your hell. Let
- 24:58Speaker 1: me ask you to let me ask you are you single?
- 25:01Speaker 1: Are you single? Are you married? What does that have
- 25:04Speaker 1: to do with anybody. I'm not coming to the day
- 25:07Speaker 1: here center, all right, Evan. Like, if you want to
- 25:09Speaker 1: come to my house and you want to see how

- 25:18Speaker 1: I don't need to come to your home. I'm more
- 25:21Speaker 1: concerned about making sure you're comfortable here at the Adult
- 25:24Speaker 1: Day when you get here on Monday. Yeah, I'm not
- 25:26Speaker 1: coming there. That's it. I'm not coming there because there's

- 25:57Speaker 1: really nice? That's all? Like at first I was scared
- 26:00Speaker 1: to you. At first, I want I'll be honest, I
- 26:02Speaker 1: was scared and now I'm not, like I don't know why.
- 26:06Speaker 1: I'm just not you know what I mean? Like you
- 26:09Speaker 1: just haven not Yeah, I know who you are. But okay,
- 26:15Speaker 1: so well will you be there? Will you be at
- 26:19Speaker 1: the daycare center like you? Because I like to meet you.
- 26:23Speaker 1: I'll be at the daycare when you arrive on Monday.

- 26:31Speaker 1: be able to I'm always I like that, Miss Sharon.
- 26:35Speaker 1: That's nice? Oh ahead, go ahead? Okay? So should I
- 26:40Speaker 1: should I reach out to Diane about this? All? Reach
- 26:45Speaker 1: out to her, sir, reach out to her? Okay, Well

- 29:22Speaker 1: Even women are nicer than men? Question Mark, Well, we
- 29:27Speaker 1: know that for the most part, you know, women, women
- 29:31Speaker 1: are nicer. Yeah, yeah, yeah, And researchers at the University
- 29:35Speaker 1: of Zurich have made an amazing discovery. They say that
- 29:38Speaker 1: women are kinder and more generous than men. And uh
- 29:42Speaker 1: and it's biologically so they say, naturally it's like that. Yeah, yeah,
- 29:49Speaker 1: they ain't have to do no study for that, because
- 29:51Speaker 1: Jeff came in as u huh. The researchers found that
- 29:54Speaker 1: men and women's brains react differently to selfless and selfish behavior.
- 29:59Speaker 1: He yeah, did you want to say something here, Steve? No, right,
- 30:04Speaker 1: uh huh. Shirley ask Carl a question. She go answered
- 30:09Speaker 1: as a woman and I answered as a man. Just

- 30:20Speaker 1: Let me look that up for you, Shirley, because I

- 30:28Speaker 1: Do you have that app? Thank you? Know well I
- 30:30Speaker 1: do have it, but I left my phone. Okay, so
- 30:33Speaker 1: I'll look it up for you. Thank you. I appreciate that. Yeah, yeah, hey, Steve, Um,
- 30:38Speaker 1: what's the weather gonna be like today? Do I need
- 30:40Speaker 1: to carry a sweater or something hot? Throw something in
- 30:44Speaker 1: the bag for later. It's the tone, it's I don't
- 30:50Speaker 1: care care. You know what stopped me? What in fact
- 30:56Speaker 1: did you said you left your phone? I was that
- 30:58Speaker 1: That's where we stopped right here. You didn't get your

- 31:23Speaker 1: vocal of the first question. I stung you with that one. Huh,
- 31:29Speaker 1: So we are. I left my phone when I was
- 31:36Speaker 1: married before. I left my phone at home one time
- 31:41Speaker 1: and I got all the way downtown and realized I
- 31:44Speaker 1: didn't have it, so I headed back. Yeah, my ex
- 31:49Speaker 1: called my boy that I'm went and goes tell him
- 31:53Speaker 1: I got his phone, and if he wants to see
- 31:56Speaker 1: this phone intact, I need his hold right now. No,
- 32:02Speaker 1: you ain't getting this cold. I can't give you the code.
- 32:06Speaker 1: What did you do? Why not back home? And it
- 32:10Speaker 1: was no longer intact? That's fine. I swept it up,
- 32:16Speaker 1: put it in a uh sandwich bad jo back downtown.
- 32:22Speaker 1: They didn't know the game I did. I reached and

- 32:48Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, Miss and Tripp, Thanks Steve, Thanks Shirley,
- 32:52Speaker 1: all you guys, this is a trip with the news.
- 32:54Speaker 1: President Biden, is this you an executive order aimed at
- 32:56Speaker 1: curbing greenhouse gas emissions and pollution. The presidents to see
- 33:00Speaker 1: fifty percent of American cars and trucks run on electricity,
- 33:04Speaker 1: not gas, and pretty soon by the year twenty thirty,
- 33:07Speaker 1: and mister Biden says, the US is already behind. Right now,
- 33:10Speaker 1: China is leaving the race as one of the largest
- 33:13Speaker 1: and fastest growing electric vehicle markets in the world and
- 33:16Speaker 1: a key party electric vehicle to state the obvious is
- 33:19Speaker 1: the battery, and right now eighty percent of the manufacturing
- 33:22Speaker 1: capacity for these batteries is done in China. Thousands of
- 33:26Speaker 1: Americans are mourning the sudden heart attack death yesterday of
- 33:29Speaker 1: legendary labor leader Richard Trumka. Richard Trumka has been president
- 33:33Speaker 1: of the largest federation of unions in the United States,
- 33:36Speaker 1: the twelve and a half million member a of LCIO,
- 33:39Speaker 1: since two thousand and nine and Senate Majority Leader Chuck
- 33:42Speaker 1: Schumer says Trumka was much loved and respected for his
- 33:45Speaker 1: decency and dedication. He had in his veins, in every
- 33:50Speaker 1: item of his body, the heart, the thoughts, the needs
- 33:55Speaker 1: of the working people of America. He was them rich.
- 33:59Speaker 1: Trumka was the working people of America. As an example,
- 34:03Speaker 1: in two thousand and eight, when Barack Obama was running
- 34:05Speaker 1: for president, Trumpka heard that there were union members who
- 34:08Speaker 1: just couldn't bring themselves to vote for a black man.
- 34:11Speaker 1: So he went out to the union halls himself. Our
- 34:14Speaker 1: kids are moving away because there's no future here. And
- 34:18Speaker 1: here's a man, Barack Obama, who's going to fight for
- 34:21Speaker 1: people like us. And you want to tell me that
- 34:24Speaker 1: you won't vote for him because of the color of
- 34:28Speaker 1: his skin. Are you out of your ever loving mind.
- 34:31Speaker 1: Trump Ka was not a supporter of Donald Trump ever,
- 34:34Speaker 1: but he joined his so called Manufacturing Jobs Initiative to
- 34:37Speaker 1: see if it would work. Trump could quit with several
- 34:39Speaker 1: other labor leaders not long after when he said the
- 34:42Speaker 1: panel wasn't really set up to help the working man.
- 34:44Speaker 1: In fact, he stated that there were only two types
- 34:46Speaker 1: of people in the Trump administration, rich people and racists.
- 34:51Speaker 1: Doctor Anthony Fauci's issuing another COVID warning, stating on Good
- 34:54Speaker 1: Warning America that if more people don't get vaccinated and soon,
- 34:57Speaker 1: we could still be dealing with still a second coronavirus variant.
- 35:01Speaker 1: Amazon says it's delaying the return of its corporate staff
- 35:04Speaker 1: to the office next year. Amazon just the latest member
- 35:07Speaker 1: of a growing list of companies pushing back on the
- 35:09Speaker 1: original office return dates. And yes, it's because of the
- 35:12Speaker 1: COVID variant. And finally, actress Angela Bassett has received a
- 35:16Speaker 1: pretty hefty pay raise for her fifth season on the
- 35:18Speaker 1: Fox TV show nine to eleven. She's gonna be making
- 35:21Speaker 1: just shy of a half a million bucks per episode,
- 35:24Speaker 1: which makes the Harlem native the highest salaried actress of
- 35:27Speaker 1: color ever on a TV drama series. Can you spell
- 35:29Speaker 1: u chin o? Money? Money, money? Now back to the
- 35:33Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 35:36Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right, it's time for something funny, of course,

- 42:19Speaker 1: black people allergic to chlorine. We don't don't care for that.
- 42:29Speaker 1: All right, Excuses black people make so they don't have
- 42:32Speaker 1: to get in the pool. See if I get in
- 42:34Speaker 1: the water, my fake jurid will turn color. See I
- 42:37Speaker 1: don't need to get in the water. Work this angry
- 42:45Speaker 1: black people? Why they don't get in the pool. We
- 42:47Speaker 1: like the boat ride over here? Excuses Black people are
- 42:58Speaker 1: used not to get in this pool. Well, I would
- 43:02Speaker 1: get in there today, but I like more of a
- 43:05Speaker 1: racial mix in the water. In the water, I like
- 43:12Speaker 1: more like, yeah, fifty fifty half white then black. That's
- 43:18Speaker 1: we did not get in all right coming up more
- 43:21Speaker 1: of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this. You're
- 43:25Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at
- 43:29Speaker 1: the top of the hour, right about four minutes after
- 43:31Speaker 1: today's strawberry letter. But up next, nephew Tommy right here
- 43:35Speaker 1: with today's prank phone call. But you got nef Queen
- 43:40Speaker 1: in the church, Rain, queen in the church in one
- 43:46Speaker 1: more time? Who in the church? Rain? This is what
- 43:52Speaker 1: I got. That's it, let's run it. Weed in the church.
- 43:56Speaker 1: Come on. Hello, I'm trying to reach Dan brother, Brother Dan, Hello,
- 44:04Speaker 1: Hello on them, because I'll see you there. I'm trying
- 44:08Speaker 1: to read brother Dare Okay, yeah, this brother Scott from
- 44:14Speaker 1: the church from Belt the Baptist. Hello, brother, Yeah, I
- 44:18Speaker 1: call you. I'm trying to get a little information about
- 44:21Speaker 1: the church band. What's what's your schedule? Uh? Will you
- 44:25Speaker 1: drive the church? Y? What's what's your schedule? I drove
- 44:28Speaker 1: it Wednesday, Fridays and Sundays. Okay, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday, now Sunday.
- 44:37Speaker 1: What what is that schedule? O Sunday. I usually start
- 44:41Speaker 1: about eight o'clock in the morning, probably a little earlier
- 44:44Speaker 1: depending on some of the elderly people. That I had
- 44:47Speaker 1: to go pick up and bring to the church, make
- 44:49Speaker 1: sure they get there okay, and get situated and make
- 44:53Speaker 1: sure they are on time for the service and whatnot. Okay,
- 44:56Speaker 1: and then you take them back home after services. Yes,
- 45:01Speaker 1: I try to get all of them back home, unless
- 45:02Speaker 1: they got family members or something that come up there
- 45:04Speaker 1: and meet them up there and want to take them
- 45:06Speaker 1: to Genna or something afterwards. But I used to get
- 45:08Speaker 1: everybody back home okay. Okay. Now this class Sunday, which
- 45:15Speaker 1: is part of the reason why I'm calling you. Uh.
- 45:18Speaker 1: They saying that some of the church uh numbers that
- 45:22Speaker 1: was on the band this Sunday. Uh. They are complaining
- 45:27Speaker 1: saying that um that the church van was spending like
- 45:31Speaker 1: weed when they got on there. Excuse me, they say
- 45:35Speaker 1: the church van was spending like weed when they got
- 45:39Speaker 1: on there. And you are the person that was driving them. No, no, no, no, no,
- 45:44Speaker 1: no no, not not not the van that I'm driving.
- 45:46Speaker 1: I'm I don't no, I don't. I ain't smoke weed,
- 45:49Speaker 1: and no van, do you smoke weed? No, I don't
- 45:55Speaker 1: smoke weed. I mean not carry I mean I have before,
- 45:58Speaker 1: but I don't smoke weed now and I wouldn't smoke.
- 46:01Speaker 1: We before picking some people love to go to. Now
- 46:06Speaker 1: where you carry it from? Who told you this? Well?
- 46:09Speaker 1: All I know is what what? What's coming down the
- 46:11Speaker 1: pipeline is? They saying that a couple of the members
- 46:15Speaker 1: came complaining, See this just happened last week about this pipeline.
- 46:20Speaker 1: I want to know who the pipeline is because just
- 46:23Speaker 1: last week they came and me talking about that I
- 46:25Speaker 1: was using the van to go places that I wanted
- 46:28Speaker 1: to go to all my personal time. Now I don't
- 46:30Speaker 1: do that. I don't do stuff like that. And now
- 46:32Speaker 1: I hadn't had a path, I haven't had a history,
- 46:33Speaker 1: but I don't do stuff like that, and I wouldn't smoking.
- 46:36Speaker 1: No church fan, So are you seriously talking? What? What? What?
- 46:41Speaker 1: We're trying to We're trying to get to the bottom
- 46:43Speaker 1: of it and see what's going on with you? Ulderly
- 46:47Speaker 1: person said, do you know which one? I don't they
- 46:51Speaker 1: loved me Every Sunday? Didn't people tell me they loved me? Uh?
- 46:54Speaker 1: They say, I'm one of the most respectful young gentlemen
- 46:56Speaker 1: they've ever met in their life. And so I really
- 46:58Speaker 1: find it hard to believe that you getting these type
- 47:01Speaker 1: of complaints about me, Okay, what I'm saying smell like
- 47:05Speaker 1: who we I don't know what that means or nothing
- 47:07Speaker 1: like that. Look, brothers, now, I don't know you too well,
- 47:10Speaker 1: and I know you don't know leave. But I've been
- 47:13Speaker 1: driving this van as as as a point to try
- 47:15Speaker 1: to change my life and where I come from. So
- 47:18Speaker 1: this was with something that I wanted to volunteer even
- 47:20Speaker 1: though I'm getting paid to give my time to do
- 47:23Speaker 1: this for the church. And now this is like the
- 47:25Speaker 1: second instance where y'all and came at me on some
- 47:28Speaker 1: stuff about like I'm trying to do something with this van. Now,
- 47:31Speaker 1: why would I disrespect the church van by smoking weed
- 47:33Speaker 1: in it and then letting the weeds stay in there
- 47:35Speaker 1: so other people could smell it. Okay, so let me
- 47:38Speaker 1: tell you what we're gonna do. We're gonna go out
- 47:40Speaker 1: here to the church man to say, we're gonna go
- 47:43Speaker 1: out here to day and open it up. Now, if
- 47:45Speaker 1: we see any seeds or anything around the driver seat,
- 47:50Speaker 1: then then then we're gonna We're gonna definitely, uh point,
- 47:54Speaker 1: open the van up. Man. I was raised in that church, man,
- 47:57Speaker 1: My mamma go to that church, my grandma see go
- 48:00Speaker 1: to that church. See the even reason we even all
- 48:02Speaker 1: left that church. And you think I'm gonna mess up
- 48:04Speaker 1: they ain't by driving around in the band full of
- 48:06Speaker 1: elderly people smoking weed. Brother, Dad, I don't know how
- 48:12Speaker 1: to shut the band smell like weed? Man, Now I don't.
- 48:15Speaker 1: I don't got the answer to these questions. I'm just
- 48:18Speaker 1: trying to tell you that it wasn't me. Did you
- 48:20Speaker 1: ask some weed in your part? I can't admit it
- 48:22Speaker 1: with your smelling. I ain't had no weed on me.
- 48:25Speaker 1: Stop trying to say like I had weed on me
- 48:27Speaker 1: and you ain't gonna get me nothing that I ain't
- 48:28Speaker 1: had no and we ain't had no weed on me. Okay, Now,
- 48:31Speaker 1: you ain't gonna mess up my name or my family's
- 48:33Speaker 1: name in this church and disrespect us like this. Now,
- 48:36Speaker 1: we've been helping this church for years, and I'm trying
- 48:39Speaker 1: to tell you that I ain't riding around and no bands,
- 48:41Speaker 1: smoking no weed with no elderly people. Did you ask
- 48:44Speaker 1: any of the elderly people if they had any weed
- 48:46Speaker 1: on them? Uh? No, we did no. No, I didn't
- 48:51Speaker 1: think about it. No elderly people having no weed. So
- 48:54Speaker 1: you just assume it's me what one of them gout,
- 48:57Speaker 1: got coma or something? What? What? What you know? What?
- 49:00Speaker 1: You know? Who? I think? What? Did you know? Who
- 49:02Speaker 1: I think the weed belonged to? Oh? I think I
- 49:06Speaker 1: think the weed belonged the nephew Timmy from the Steve
- 49:09Speaker 1: Harvey Show. Damn, you just got a PreK oh my, God,
- 49:22Speaker 1: you just got a p put his his name his

- 51:55Speaker 1: It is Strawberry Letter. Thank you, Neugh. Subject my husband
- 51:58Speaker 1: is never satisfied by Dear Stephen Shirley. I have been
- 52:02Speaker 1: married for almost three years now. My husband and I
- 52:04Speaker 1: are intimate at least four days every week. I like
- 52:08Speaker 1: to keep things hot and spicy. Nothing is ever the
- 52:11Speaker 1: same in the bed or wherever we choose to do it.
- 52:15Speaker 1: I do all that I can to please him, and
- 52:17Speaker 1: I make sure I am pleased as well. Our sex
- 52:20Speaker 1: is always amazing, but he has confessed to being unfaithful
- 52:24Speaker 1: during our entire marriage. He told me that he's been
- 52:28Speaker 1: sleeping with women in our home, on our couch, in restaurants,
- 52:32Speaker 1: and even in cars. Not to mention, one of the
- 52:35Speaker 1: women he slept with was the only friend that I had, well,
- 52:39Speaker 1: at least I thought she was. He just can't get
- 52:42Speaker 1: enough sex. I'm so lost and confused because he says
- 52:46Speaker 1: that it is not me. He says he just can't
- 52:49Speaker 1: help it. I can't seem to satisfy him. What should
- 52:52Speaker 1: I do? Please help? Yeah, all that stuff you were
- 52:55Speaker 1: doing in the bedroom, you just really thought you were
- 52:57Speaker 1: putting it down and blah blah blah blah blah. No,
- 53:00Speaker 1: he was cheating on you, left and right, with your
- 53:03Speaker 1: friends in your house. That's the most disrespectful part. It's
- 53:07Speaker 1: more than him not being satisfied. I don't want you
- 53:10Speaker 1: to miss the big picture. This man is a cheater,
- 53:12Speaker 1: he's a liar. Are you sure you still want to
- 53:14Speaker 1: be married to this guy? He can't help it. Get
- 53:17Speaker 1: him some help and see how that goes. Don't They
- 53:19Speaker 1: have places for people that are sexual addicts to go.
- 53:23Speaker 1: This man, I don't know if he's ever gonna stop
- 53:25Speaker 1: cheating on you. Three years, you guys have been married married.
- 53:29Speaker 1: It's not like the seven year year itch or anything
- 53:31Speaker 1: like that. You're practically newlyweds, and you know he has
- 53:35Speaker 1: no respect for you to marriage, your home, any of that.
- 53:38Speaker 1: I think you need to assess who you're married to.
- 53:41Speaker 1: It doesn't sound like you really know this man at all.
- 53:44Speaker 1: You may be looking at divorce court here, Steve he
- 53:48Speaker 1: At first I didn't. I thought it was just about
- 53:51Speaker 1: too much. The title said, my husband is never satisfied.
- 53:56Speaker 1: And the way she started to let her, yeah, my
- 53:58Speaker 1: husband are intimate at least these four days every week.
- 54:03Speaker 1: That's a lot of sex. Then she said, I like
- 54:06Speaker 1: to keep things hot and spicy. Nothing is ever the
- 54:09Speaker 1: same in bad or wherever we choose to do it.
- 54:12Speaker 1: That's created four times a week. Y'all ain't doubling back
- 54:15Speaker 1: on nothing the same. What the hair y'all got going on?
- 54:19Speaker 1: I was first time I was gonna say, well, if
- 54:20Speaker 1: it's too much, then dub it down. You're the same
- 54:24Speaker 1: thing four days in the road, try to come across
- 54:26Speaker 1: that's board. But you're doing all these activities, yeah, trampoline
- 54:31Speaker 1: and stuff, y'all coming down the steps on each other. Okay,
- 54:35Speaker 1: lay your head down these steps, and then he on
- 54:39Speaker 1: top of you. And now y'all just come down the steps,
- 54:41Speaker 1: you head first, but he on top of you. But
- 54:43Speaker 1: every time you hear the step, that's another home. Let's
- 54:46Speaker 1: see right down. That's too much. That's y'all coming down
- 54:51Speaker 1: the step and screw at that same time, this is
- 54:54Speaker 1: right here, so you coming down step. Oh that good
- 55:00Speaker 1: for you? Yeah, that was good for me. Not I'm
- 55:03Speaker 1: not a mar y'all in here on the laundry room.
- 55:06Speaker 1: And to cut the washing the ship then to ma,
- 55:09Speaker 1: we're gonna do it while I'm only talking you week.
- 55:16Speaker 1: Y'all shut up. They are doing this four days a week,
- 55:19Speaker 1: every week, and nothing is ever the same. This is
- 55:23Speaker 1: happening at this house downside on the closed line, and
- 55:26Speaker 1: climbed into draws. They all up in the treehouse. The
- 55:30Speaker 1: baby treehouse got got fluid on it. Now, I'm just
- 55:34Speaker 1: trying to explain it to you. Now, I do all
- 55:38Speaker 1: I can to please him. I make sure I'm pleased
- 55:41Speaker 1: where our sex is always amazing after all this, this
- 55:44Speaker 1: woman says. But he has confessed to being unfaithful during
- 55:49Speaker 1: our entire marriage. He told me he'd been sleeping with
- 55:52Speaker 1: women in our home, on our couch, in restaurant, and
- 55:56Speaker 1: even in cars. What women scuting me? Well, didn't y'all
- 55:59Speaker 1: just you were just talking about this amazing sex life
- 56:02Speaker 1: y'all have it ain't ever the same? Then just one
- 56:04Speaker 1: day his dumbass come in the house and confesses that
- 56:08Speaker 1: he's been a faithful dude in time marriage. He told
- 56:12Speaker 1: me he's been sleeping with women in our home, on
- 56:13Speaker 1: that couch, restaurant, evening car. Why are you in here
- 56:18Speaker 1: running your damn mid ain't you busy enough? You have
- 56:22Speaker 1: things to do. Wow, you got new rooms to explore,
- 56:27Speaker 1: you got about eight nine women, And why aren't you
- 56:30Speaker 1: in here talking for you don't have time to talk
- 56:34Speaker 1: confessing it's not what you do. You've got to get creative. Boy,
- 56:40Speaker 1: listen to me. Wow, have you been on the shelf
- 56:43Speaker 1: out there in the garage? Have you been under here?
- 56:49Speaker 1: You done it under a car? You got your start
- 56:52Speaker 1: thinking us under a cart, done it in the head,
- 56:59Speaker 1: in the head, just in some headges go ahead to
- 57:06Speaker 1: get to that couch. I tell you that I'm just
- 57:10Speaker 1: trying to figure out what the hell made him go
- 57:13Speaker 1: in the house and confess. Maybe he what, Shirley, there's
- 57:17Speaker 1: nothing you can say. Hey, man listening is waiting to
- 57:19Speaker 1: head it. Maybe rest, Maybe he's tired of cheating. Rest,
- 57:31Speaker 1: We'll stop cheating. As you're sitting in a confession booth
- 57:34Speaker 1: with the priest, move your wife ain't even a priest.
- 57:40Speaker 1: The only way you only only person you posted to
- 57:43Speaker 1: go in here. And I'm not Catholic and this is
- 57:45Speaker 1: not knocking the Catholic faith at all, because I love
- 57:47Speaker 1: all these But the only person you posted to go
- 57:50Speaker 1: tellitude like that is a priest in the box. Yeah,
- 57:54Speaker 1: now that's your wife. Got a call on in the box?
- 57:58Speaker 1: Why are we talking? So? So? What? Surely so back
- 58:02Speaker 1: in the day, not now. We'll have to bring this back.
- 58:05Speaker 1: You never felt like just getting it all off your chest,
- 58:08Speaker 1: just confessing, just hand phone. I've never felt that I
- 58:13Speaker 1: had too, but I didn't. We'll be back with uh
- 58:22Speaker 1: with this part two of this letter. My husband is
- 58:25Speaker 1: never satisfied. You're listening to show. Okay, we're back now.
- 58:32Speaker 1: Surely yes, let's go with his lettering. Okay, I been
- 58:36Speaker 1: married for almost three years. Hold than our intimate four
- 58:38Speaker 1: days a week. Two things right, they've been everywhere, They've
- 58:41Speaker 1: been all over the place. Just do all I can
- 58:43Speaker 1: to please. I make sure I'm pleased. Our sex is amazing.
- 58:47Speaker 1: And for some damn reason that food and came in
- 58:49Speaker 1: the house and confessed and what unfaithful doing our entirement
- 58:54Speaker 1: three years told me that he'd been sleeping with women
- 58:57Speaker 1: in our house on our couch restaurant even called and
- 59:02Speaker 1: with her best friend. Did she say not to one
- 59:06Speaker 1: of the women he slept was the only friend that
- 59:07Speaker 1: I had, well, at least I thought she was. He
- 59:11Speaker 1: just can't get enough set. Well, we all feel that way.
- 59:18Speaker 1: All men feel like they can't get enough set. But
- 59:20Speaker 1: you can't hear everything you want. You just can't, and
- 59:25Speaker 1: everything you can have ain't good for you. You know,
- 59:28Speaker 1: some fools never learned that. I know a dude right
- 59:32Speaker 1: now can't get it through his ignorant ass. What that
- 59:36Speaker 1: jet cause? You can don't mean you shoot? Oh yeah,
- 59:40Speaker 1: I mean you ain't got so you just ain't gonna
- 59:42Speaker 1: practice no restraints. He's just new. He is out here
- 59:47Speaker 1: just doing, just to be doing. You don't know him, Tom,
- 59:53Speaker 1: It just be quiet as long as it ain't hunky.
- 59:57Speaker 1: He can't get enough set I'm so lost and confused
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: because he says it's not me. He says he just
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: can't help it. I can't seem to satisfy him. What
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: should I do? Please? Hell, get you some people, Get
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: you some people? Does he liked it that much? Crowd
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: it up, get the hors crowded. She's obligated to stay
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: with this. You ain't got to stay with him. But
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: what the hell you want? I don't need. I don't
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: like that much in mine. I don't want too much.
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: This is too much this letter, Yeah, I think, but
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: I don't know what I mean. Why are you with
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: him exactly? How did you recover from a man telling
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: you and he didn't have women in your bed, on
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: your couch, in your car, and he slept with your friend?
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: Why are you still talking to him? So? Since he
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: can't get enough, you ain't gonna ever be able to
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: trust him. The only thing I think this is headed
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: for divorce and he just gonna be your man because
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: he got plenty. He bring it or he gonna run out.
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: He gonna run out. A man only has X a
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: number of shots and then he out. Yeah, that's that's
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: a law. A man has X amount of shots and
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: then it started dissipating. Oh really in trouble. Yeah, you
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: only got an X amount. That's it. Probably after that
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: is sawdust. She says. She can't seem to satisfying. She
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: can't he at that pup and everything she thought she was.
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: That's the thing, because she says she likes to keep
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: things hot and spicy. Nothing is ever the same in

- 1:06:23Speaker 1: We stand in line every day with soup kitchen. You're
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: trying to get us on eat and we stand in
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: line that sup kitchen and sometimes the line with your
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: loan and you know we all mean, like, you know,
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: just be get the wall and be on the wall

- 1:07:41Speaker 1: know there's nothing right worse than you're writing a private

- 1:07:46Speaker 1: wrong person. That is why I do not do group texts. Yeah,
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: so you don't. You would not respond one at all
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: because I'll forget to turn it off and fairly's response

- 1:08:01Speaker 1: I know what a good text? But so so Junior,
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: have you ever act? Oh? Yeah, you need to understand

- 1:08:40Speaker 1: And I spent Celesia. I should have. Man, I was
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: going tell me, I know you sent some necking pictures

- 1:10:01Speaker 1: wrong Jackie say? Yeah, you got the wrong jacket and
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: you know it was a friend of the family jacket
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: Like when you get home, you're gonna get this foot loan.

- 1:11:09Speaker 1: and she just talking to me and she was so

- 1:11:31Speaker 1: It's in the group text. He got it too. She
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: two inches from my face. Her phone dings. She looks
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: at it, it says, oh really, Shawan is running from
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: the back of the bus trying to stop her from
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: looking at I don't know what the hell happened. It's

- 1:14:53Speaker 1: Your heart not good right now, so you don't take
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: your time, make the last as long as you can't.

- 1:15:03Speaker 1: look at him. They ain't got to be taking a
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: step firm. I gave some huh, having big lips would
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: not kill you. We didn't make it that far. Whether
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: he died or nothing. We didn't make it that far.
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: But I understand bad heart and hard tramp. Because I

- 1:15:41Speaker 1: work because you can't afford no heart ache. You can't.
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: You can't have none of that. Matter of fact, feet
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: when you go to sleep, sleep light because of deep

- 1:17:02Speaker 1: be back with the clothes. Uh. Today it's been a
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: good day. Um, we'll be back to closing our show
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: yea with Steve's closing remarks coming up at forty nine
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: after the hour. Right after this, you're listening last break up.
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: The day been a pretty good day, interesting day and Steve,
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: You're closing remarks are back. We love them. What do
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: you have for us today, Steve? All right, I got
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: I got something I want to share with you all today. Um.
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: You know today, when I woke up this morning, I
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: had all Because it was Super Bowl weekend and we
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: were in Miami, I didn't do my usual meditation every morning,
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: and I missed about three days. In the role of
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: my early morning meditation, I always get up is something
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: I've been doing for a little while now. I started
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: it last summer and I'm very really only miss a day.
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: I've been very very happy about that. But the benefit
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: of it is it gives me a moment alone before
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: the hectic part of the day begins, and before the
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: phone starts ringing, and before I you know, I used
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: to wake up and look at my emails and my
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: text and get started. And I stopped doing that, and
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: it has been a big refresher for me and my
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: life because I just felt like I was starting my
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: day wrong. I needed to have some spirituality brought into
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: my life first thing in the morning. And I found that.
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: Every since this summer, that's been a very very important aspect.
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: It's been very calming for me. It has been very
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: very invigorating. It has helped me change the way a
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: lot of my days start. But that alone time that
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: I sped having my spiritual moment with my creator is
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: the way I've chosen to do it. I want to
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: tell you all something, if you haven't tried that, give
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: it a try. It's something about the early morning hours
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: before you start hearing trafficking, before you turn the TV
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: on or answer emails or texts. It's something about the
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: quiet of early morning, before the house starts moving around
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: and plates clanging and stuff like that and doors shutting.
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: It's an amazing time to get in touch with your spirituality.
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: And I suggest just give it a try. You know,
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: it may not be for you. It may not I don't,
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: I don't know you, but it happens a lot. I
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: was reading a scripture once doing this thing and it
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: it and was saying that I'm paraphrasing it because it's
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: showing't what it said exactly, but I will come with
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: you in the early mornings and hear your cry, and
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: so it it's been very beneficial to me. And this morning,
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: in particular, after spending about three days not doing it,
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: today I sat down and all I did in my journal,
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: because I have a Bible, I have a daily devotional,
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: I have a journal. All I did in my journal
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: this morning was I began to write out everything I
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: could think of that I wanted to thank him for.
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: I just put a list of things I was grateful for.
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: And the next thing I know, I had filled up
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: two pages, I mean two complete pages in my journal,
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: you know. And now it's not a piece of notebook paper,
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: you know, they're going to three ring binders, but it's
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: it's a substantial piece of paper. And I filled it
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: up because I was just I couldn't stop writing, and
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: I was writing everything I'm thinking. For safe passage in
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: the airways, I thanked him for my children's health, I
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: thank him for guidance. I started thinking him for everything
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: that he's done for me that I pray about, and
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: the things that he's done for me that I don't
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: pray about. I thank him for my breath. I thanked
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: him for my measure of health. I thanked him for
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: being able to have a lifestyle beyond my dreams. I
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: was thanking him for the ability to dress myself. I
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: was thanking him for going to the Super Bowl, for
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: having a successful NFL honors, for meeting people, for taking
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: on the mantra of two twenty twenty twenty of no complaints.
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: I just decided in twenty twenty I didn't want to complain,
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: so I've cut back on that. I having stopped completely.
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: You know, I'm catching myself every now and then, but
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: I've been so far. I've cut down on complaining drastically,
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: and I thank him for that, because instead of complaining
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: whatever I feel like I want to complain about something,
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: I find a way to be grateful. I find something
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: to be grateful for. So I've I've replaced complaining with gratitude. Wow. Wow,
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: what a game changer. What an amazing mental state that
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: puts you in. If you could exchange complaining for gratitude,
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: Gratitude is a very very underrated principle of success. Not
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: many people talk about it. But the more grateful you are,
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: the more things grateful God will give you to be
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: grateful for. The more grateful you are, the more thing
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: God God will give to you to be grateful for.
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: That's a fact. That's a fact. And so I'm suggesting
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: to everybody get up a little bit earlier and spend
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: twenty minutes, fifteen minutes, let's start there. The more you
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: could do, the better. But if you could start with
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: ten quiet minutes with just you and you and God.
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: And I don't care what faith you're in, just you
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: and God. Just spend some time talking with him, thanking him,
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: tell him what you want, tell him what you need,
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: asking for the help that you want, but tell him
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: you love him, and tell him you and tell him
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: you're trying to get it right and you need some helping,
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: and tell him what you want and thank him. It's
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: an amazing way to start your day. Just give it
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: a thought, y'all. That's all. Those are my closes with models.
