- 2:16Speaker 1: I got it. I think I got something that's uh
- 2:20Speaker 1: that rings for everybody here it is did you know?
- 2:26Speaker 1: Did you know? And I'm talking to everybody, did you
- 2:30Speaker 1: know that there is a life for you that's greater
- 2:37Speaker 1: than you could have ever dreamed of? Did you know
- 2:42Speaker 1: that there is a life for you better than you
- 2:45Speaker 1: could have ever imagined. There's a life for you better
- 2:50Speaker 1: than the one you thought you could have. Did you
- 2:54Speaker 1: know that there's a life for you better than the
- 2:56Speaker 1: one you've ever felt before? Did you know that that
- 3:02Speaker 1: was a life for you greater than the one you
- 3:06Speaker 1: saw for yourself. Did you know that there is a
- 3:13Speaker 1: life for you greater than you had expected? And did
- 3:20Speaker 1: you know that that was a life for you much
- 3:24Speaker 1: bigger than the one you wanted? And lastly, did you
- 3:30Speaker 1: know that what I just said it is true? Did
- 3:35Speaker 1: you know that? Did you know that the things I
- 3:39Speaker 1: just said are available to you? Yeah? You? It's not
- 3:47Speaker 1: just intended for other people. It's not just intended for
- 3:53Speaker 1: the rich. It's not intended for those with college degree.
- 4:01Speaker 1: It's not just intended for those who receive awards. It's
- 4:07Speaker 1: for everybody. Yeah, you two, It's for you who didn't
- 4:16Speaker 1: get your high school diploma. It's for you who are incarcerated.
- 4:25Speaker 1: It's for you who have two strikes. It's for you
- 4:32Speaker 1: who've been sentenced to life. It's for you who've gotten
- 4:38Speaker 1: out and have a felony record and can't seem to
- 4:40Speaker 1: get it together. It's for you who have an illness.
- 4:47Speaker 1: It's for you who the doctors have given up on.
- 4:51Speaker 1: It's for you, this life I'm talking about, it's for you.
- 4:59Speaker 1: Did you know that there's a life for you better
- 5:04Speaker 1: than the one you dreamed about, better than the one
- 5:07Speaker 1: you've imagined a life better than the one you thought of.
- 5:12Speaker 1: That there's a life for you better than the one
- 5:14Speaker 1: you've ever felt before. There's a life for you better
- 5:18Speaker 1: than the one you saw for yourself. There's a better
- 5:21Speaker 1: life for you than the one you expected and even
- 5:24Speaker 1: the one you wanted. Did you know that this is
- 5:28Speaker 1: true for you? See? Here's let me give you the
- 5:33Speaker 1: secret to this thing. Now you have to believe that
- 5:39Speaker 1: it is for you. Now, you got to fight through
- 5:42Speaker 1: the doubts. You got to fight through the wheel of satan,
- 5:45Speaker 1: because the devil is busy. Man. The devil wants you
- 5:48Speaker 1: to think that is hopeless. The devil wants you to
- 5:51Speaker 1: think that this is it. The devil wants you to
- 5:54Speaker 1: think that ain't no more to it. The devil wants
- 5:56Speaker 1: you to think that this applies to other people. But you, Yeah,
- 5:59Speaker 1: you've been dealt the worst hand of them all, which
- 6:02Speaker 1: you ate. But that's what the devil wants you to think.
- 6:04Speaker 1: So you gotta fight through. Now, you gotta fight through
- 6:07Speaker 1: to get to what I just said is available for you.
- 6:10Speaker 1: But what else you got to do? You ain't doing
- 6:13Speaker 1: nothing else, might as well fight? Why just wake up
- 6:16Speaker 1: and just let it be? Why would you wake up
- 6:18Speaker 1: every day and just exist when there's a chance for
- 6:21Speaker 1: you to actually live. See the reason I don't mind
- 6:25Speaker 1: smiling so much now is because I'm no longer existing.
- 6:28Speaker 1: I'm living now. See. See, that's where you want to
- 6:32Speaker 1: get to. You don't want to exist to wake up,
- 6:35Speaker 1: paycheck to paycheck, date today, not knowing, not understanding, not having,
- 6:41Speaker 1: can't can't get this, can't get that, can't go here,
- 6:44Speaker 1: can't go there, Gotta wait, gota wait, got a wait,
- 6:47Speaker 1: got a wait. Till it seems like you never get nowhere,
- 6:50Speaker 1: You can get out of that rut of life, feeling
- 6:52Speaker 1: like when you wake up in the morning that your
- 6:54Speaker 1: life is whole hum that you're just in a rut.
- 6:57Speaker 1: I drive the same way to work. I do the
- 7:00Speaker 1: same thing on my job. When I get off, I
- 7:02Speaker 1: drive all the way back home. I sit there, I
- 7:05Speaker 1: read the newspaper. I watered the lawn. I'm so sick
- 7:08Speaker 1: of my life. It ain't this, ain't what I wanted. Man,
- 7:11Speaker 1: and start wake up, start over, do the same thing.
- 7:15Speaker 1: Then the week end gets in. You got to mow
- 7:17Speaker 1: the lawn, and then you try to fix something in
- 7:19Speaker 1: the garage, and you feel like your life is in
- 7:21Speaker 1: the rut I'm talking about. If this feels like a
- 7:23Speaker 1: rut to you know, if it's what you've always wanted,
- 7:26Speaker 1: I'm cool with that. But I'm talking to people who
- 7:28Speaker 1: want it more, who would love their life to be more,
- 7:32Speaker 1: who would love their life to different, to be different.
- 7:35Speaker 1: I'm not criticizing you if I just described your life.
- 7:38Speaker 1: I'm just only talking to the ones who would dare
- 7:42Speaker 1: to believe that there's more to it than this. I'm
- 7:45Speaker 1: only talking to the ones who would dad dad to
- 7:49Speaker 1: accept the challenge, to fight through and see what God
- 7:53Speaker 1: got for you instead of listening to Satan all the time.
- 7:56Speaker 1: Devil is busy, man, Please understand, he's so busy, so
- 8:00Speaker 1: busy trying to trick you, get you into the groove.
- 8:03Speaker 1: You know they're doing all kinds of stuff now man.
- 8:06Speaker 1: You know atheists and already got prayer, taking out of schools.
- 8:09Speaker 1: Excuse me, look at our skills schools, not as a
- 8:12Speaker 1: push by the atheist to get the words in God
- 8:15Speaker 1: we trust, taking off our money. Here's a deal. If
- 8:17Speaker 1: you don't believe in God, and you don't want trust
- 8:19Speaker 1: in God, just going about your business. But what you
- 8:21Speaker 1: can't do is spill off all into what I'm talking about.
- 8:24Speaker 1: That's the problem I have with all of them. If
- 8:27Speaker 1: you're gonna do you, didn't do you, but don't spill
- 8:29Speaker 1: off into what I got now. See, if you don't
- 8:31Speaker 1: believe what I'm saying, then I ain't talking to you.
- 8:34Speaker 1: Let's just be clear about the relationship with Steve Harvey
- 8:37Speaker 1: and his crew. I'm only talking to the people that
- 8:40Speaker 1: believe that are looking for something else, that wants something more,
- 8:44Speaker 1: that wants something better, that's got to be out there
- 8:47Speaker 1: searching and hoping and trying to do more. That's all
- 8:51Speaker 1: I'm talking to now. If you don't believe what I'm
- 8:54Speaker 1: saying is true, didn't go ahead and try it your way,
- 8:56Speaker 1: Go see write me, email me, let me know how
- 8:58Speaker 1: it's going for you. But I'm telling you of a
- 9:01Speaker 1: way that's tried and true. If you go to God,
- 9:04Speaker 1: if you go to your creator, your makeup, if you
- 9:08Speaker 1: go to him and you go to him for real
- 9:12Speaker 1: and tell him, hey, you know what I want you
- 9:15Speaker 1: to go ahead and take over from here. I'm done.
- 9:17Speaker 1: I didn't done all I know how to do out
- 9:20Speaker 1: and tried everything I know how to try. I'm sick
- 9:23Speaker 1: of me right now. Hey, look here, you created me
- 9:26Speaker 1: what you want me to do, and here a cool
- 9:28Speaker 1: thing about it. When I made that decision, y'all, see,
- 9:31Speaker 1: I was so afraid for years that I was gonna
- 9:33Speaker 1: miss out on something if I did that. I couldn't
- 9:35Speaker 1: do this no more. But the stuff I needed to
- 9:37Speaker 1: stop doing. I really need to stop the things I
- 9:40Speaker 1: was afraid of not being able to do anymore, with
- 9:42Speaker 1: the very same things I really didn't need to be
- 9:44Speaker 1: doing no more in the first place. On the real man,
- 9:48Speaker 1: on the real all that temporary fun, I was having
- 9:52Speaker 1: all them temporary outlets. I was using all them temporary
- 9:55Speaker 1: things trying to fulfill myself I was doing. I was
- 9:58Speaker 1: just doing a bunch of temporary mass. Man. I said,
- 10:01Speaker 1: hold up, man, I want something permanent. Man, I want
- 10:04Speaker 1: a permanent feeling in my heart that it's gonna be
- 10:07Speaker 1: all right. So he replaced all that fun with joy.
- 10:10Speaker 1: But it was only because I went and I faced him.
- 10:14Speaker 1: He didn't take me and stop me from being me.
- 10:17Speaker 1: He just made a better version of me. See, God,
- 10:21Speaker 1: don't take because all the stuff he sent you through,
- 10:24Speaker 1: he needed you to go through all him. He needed
- 10:26Speaker 1: you to have him experience or what it felt like
- 10:28Speaker 1: to be locked up. He needed you to have experience
- 10:30Speaker 1: and know what it was to lose everything. He needed
- 10:32Speaker 1: you to have experience to make you tough. You're just
- 10:36Speaker 1: gonna be a tough one. I'm a tough soldier in
- 10:39Speaker 1: his army. That's all. I just say. One of the
- 10:42Speaker 1: weak ones. I protect the weak ones. God didn't take
- 10:47Speaker 1: a lot of stuff from except the stuff I needed.
- 10:50Speaker 1: But the stuff he made me to be. He allowed
- 10:52Speaker 1: me to keep it, and he just made a better me.
- 10:55Speaker 1: Do that, y'all, and you can have what you want.
- 10:57Speaker 1: You're listening to show ladies and gentleman boys and girls,
- 11:04Speaker 1: people all around it. Well, Steve Robin Marty Show liveing

- 11:57Speaker 1: a dog at a game, right because the dogs dropping frisbee?
- 12:03Speaker 1: Who dropped? They booed him. I guess they said you
- 12:14Speaker 1: got one job? Yes, yes, yeah, yeah, yeah. I guess

- 12:37Speaker 1: you're gonna be all right. I'm gonna be great. Why
- 12:39Speaker 1: are you asking that, Steve, Well, you know it's a
- 12:43Speaker 1: it's a different weekend for Junior. Yeah, Super Junior got exposed,
- 12:48Speaker 1: he got took to another level. Yeah, I'm just trying
- 12:51Speaker 1: to make sure. Yeah, boy, that boy right there. The
- 12:58Speaker 1: funniest line in the whole trip was when Junior hit
- 13:02Speaker 1: that jackpot. Hold out, everybody, I'm fill out some PaperWorks,
- 13:10Speaker 1: and everybody in that high roller rule fell out land
- 13:14Speaker 1: because you know, the big rich board walking around. Man,

- 13:33Speaker 1: you in there? Oh okay, everybody, man, It's it's unbelievable.
- 13:40Speaker 1: You know, let me explain to you case you're not
- 13:42Speaker 1: understanding everywhere when you gamble, you're going across some hate.
- 13:50Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, okay, go high high high roller rule. Let
- 13:56Speaker 1: me give you an example of the slots, whether its

- 14:05Speaker 1: you've got to have two credits to win a free sped.
- 14:10Speaker 1: Right the cheapest machine in that's fifty dollars per pool.
- 14:17Speaker 1: They got two hundred dollars per pool. They have a
- 14:23Speaker 1: thousand dollars slot machine where one credit is one thousand dollars,
- 14:28Speaker 1: and to get the free sped it takes two credits,
- 14:32Speaker 1: two thousand, two thousand dollars of speed. All right, coming up,
- 14:35Speaker 1: Junior's Truth to be Told for something funny. We'll be
- 14:41Speaker 1: back at thirty two after you're listening to Steve Harvey
- 14:44Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right, here we go something funny with
- 14:47Speaker 1: Junior Truth be Told. And then right after that, Steve,
- 14:52Speaker 1: it's your term. You have to tell everyone when we
- 14:54Speaker 1: were in Philly. I think one of the times we
- 14:57Speaker 1: were in Philly altogether and we were at Capital Grill.
- 15:00Speaker 1: Remember that story, Steve, Yes, yes, yes, hang on, Let
- 15:05Speaker 1: Junior go first. Oh well, let me just tell you
- 15:09Speaker 1: the truth about something people that I didn't encourage everybody
- 15:12Speaker 1: to do. What I had just did this past weekend
- 15:15Speaker 1: is expose yourself to something that you came afford. That's
- 15:18Speaker 1: what you need to do. The one thing I found
- 15:21Speaker 1: out is that being rich is absolutely a lot of fun.
- 15:25Speaker 1: You don't never talk about it, but I'm telling you
- 15:28Speaker 1: right now, being rich has great perks. It's fun. First
- 15:32Speaker 1: of all, the private jet experience. Okay, wow, wow, let
- 15:37Speaker 1: me tell I'm messed up now to surre them tell
- 15:39Speaker 1: you something they don't tell me. Let me tell them.
- 15:41Speaker 1: They didn't tell me that when they valet your car
- 15:45Speaker 1: at the jet, not at the they valuate your car
- 15:47Speaker 1: the jet. I didn't know that. The same dude that
- 15:50Speaker 1: rides a little luggage school, Yeah, put my luggage on
- 15:54Speaker 1: the plate, then jumped in my truck. You should have
- 15:56Speaker 1: seen me tracking him down. He didn't have no valet
- 15:59Speaker 1: outfit on. H You're running at the ba Hey, what
- 16:03Speaker 1: did you do? Yeah? Yeah, I'm standing at the foot
- 16:09Speaker 1: of the plane going Junior. What did you doing, Julie?
- 16:11Speaker 1: What's what you're doing? Man? Vale? People have on jackets
- 16:14Speaker 1: at the bowtime he got my car. I ain't know
- 16:21Speaker 1: that you need to start school how to act with
- 16:24Speaker 1: rich people. Yeah, because black leta something you can't do
- 16:29Speaker 1: black people like that. Man, my first truck I ever bought.
- 16:32Speaker 1: You feel it. I ain't even lose it to the
- 16:33Speaker 1: dude that the junior stop running at Junior, come here. Um,
- 16:40Speaker 1: you see the dude got my truck. No, no, Junior,
- 16:44Speaker 1: you pulled your truck up to the plane. Let me
- 16:46Speaker 1: explain something to you. The guy is gonna power your car.
- 16:50Speaker 1: Then when they find out this plane come back, they're
- 16:54Speaker 1: gonna bring your car to the plane. Yeah. But here
- 16:56Speaker 1: the thing though he didn't say that he jumped his
- 17:01Speaker 1: ass in my truck and pulled off. That was the
- 17:03Speaker 1: problem because you know that's his job, and he think
- 17:09Speaker 1: you know that school is right there right Ja. I
- 17:13Speaker 1: did not know. But I'm just saying, people, you got
- 17:16Speaker 1: to get out and experience some of this stuff so
- 17:18Speaker 1: you won't be shocked. Like. Don't do like I did
- 17:20Speaker 1: with up first hit at the casino, the light going off,
- 17:23Speaker 1: I go over there and tell the people my uncle hid,
- 17:25Speaker 1: y'all need to get up here. The pistons jui, they
- 17:26Speaker 1: already noticed, they already. My head's up. They know they
- 17:34Speaker 1: got cameras in. Everybody knows what's going on in this
- 17:37Speaker 1: rule right here, except for me. Jay. I walked right
- 17:41Speaker 1: up to late excuse me, my uncle, light going off
- 17:43Speaker 1: over there. He just won then later say we got it, sir. Okay,
- 17:47Speaker 1: Well then why y'all ain't moving over there? See, I
- 17:49Speaker 1: ain't know all this stuff. I ain't rich, so I
- 17:51Speaker 1: don't have no clue about this nothing thing. Too rich
- 17:54Speaker 1: people always have what they get picked up in a
- 17:58Speaker 1: rose Roy. That's would miss me up. First of all,
- 18:03Speaker 1: I'm saying, if I get dropped off into rolls Roy,
- 18:06Speaker 1: I get picked up in the rolls one right there,
- 18:08Speaker 1: and let me know the difference. Let me know how
- 18:12Speaker 1: I just got to try to track the truck down.
- 18:16Speaker 1: I didn't. You were just chasing your guy, and let
- 18:21Speaker 1: I didn't even know this, dude, Jake, not only letting
- 18:25Speaker 1: nobody get in my truck like that, Why would you
- 18:27Speaker 1: expect the rods rush to come. I didn't have no clue.
- 18:30Speaker 1: No one told you nobody clue. Just get exposed, It's
- 18:33Speaker 1: all I'm saying. Get yourself some exposure, all right, June,
- 18:40Speaker 1: next time, next time, the school is all right, civil thing.
- 18:45Speaker 1: And oh no, I was gonna say an honor of
- 18:49Speaker 1: Philly and their world champion status. Now, uh, you gotta
- 18:53Speaker 1: tell the people about when we were all in Philly together,
- 18:55Speaker 1: this one time when you had uh we didn't Philly
- 18:59Speaker 1: at the Capital grilled a cross street from the Ritz.
- 19:02Speaker 1: I've been to Philly many times, you know, shopping him,
- 19:05Speaker 1: hanging out, and just know people up there Philly Joe
- 19:08Speaker 1: Nelm and came. I'm saying, just doing little resume work. Yes,
- 19:15Speaker 1: but we got up there for the radio and I'm
- 19:16Speaker 1: having a meeting across the streeted Capitol that Shirley and
- 19:21Speaker 1: calling them is at a different table. But I'm at
- 19:25Speaker 1: the meeting with the big wigs at Home Depot, one
- 19:28Speaker 1: of our major sponsors at the time. So we're at
- 19:32Speaker 1: this meeting and all these people sitting around and they
- 19:35Speaker 1: start talking about ideas. So this black dude, I opened
- 19:44Speaker 1: up some bread and I'm I'm butting this bread, and
- 19:49Speaker 1: this black dude started talking about these ideas he had.
- 19:54Speaker 1: I'm trying to figure out why the talking over all
- 20:00Speaker 1: leave people. So I said, hey, man, look here. While
- 20:07Speaker 1: I'm butting the bread, I said, man, look him, I'm
- 20:11Speaker 1: gonna mesh the job up. Man. Yeah, yeah, because you know,
- 20:17Speaker 1: I'm thinking Orange April, you want to come up. You
- 20:20Speaker 1: need to let somebody else talk at this meeting. So
- 20:24Speaker 1: I'm just butting my bread, but I'm looking at him,
- 20:26Speaker 1: and so finally he kept on talking. I said, man, y'all,
- 20:29Speaker 1: chill a little bit. Man. You said this, yeah that
- 20:32Speaker 1: you brought in the bread. Yeah, man, for you mention
- 20:34Speaker 1: a little money up. So now I'm biting the bread.
- 20:37Speaker 1: I'm eating broad Let me good. So I'm looking to
- 20:40Speaker 1: do right here, like all right, now, keep on. So
- 20:43Speaker 1: I said, I want to hear what the other people
- 20:45Speaker 1: gotta say. I'm just trying to say the dude, I'm
- 20:49Speaker 1: gonna find out. The black girl leans over to me
- 20:54Speaker 1: and says, Steve, he's the regional fights idiot. Stop crazy.
- 21:06Speaker 1: So I got him from the table, went over to
- 21:09Speaker 1: call and Neil table and y'all believe what I should
- 21:15Speaker 1: you about? Help me? Can y'all help me out right here?
- 21:22Speaker 1: What I need to go? Back? Right here? I tell
- 21:27Speaker 1: you told him to shut up. That's our Philly story.
- 21:32Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, Oh my god, once again to Philly nephew.
- 21:37Speaker 1: Tell me he's run that prank back is coming up
- 21:39Speaker 1: right after this you're listening to the Steven Show. All right,
- 21:43Speaker 1: congratulations once again to the Philadelphia Eagles. Fly Eagles, fly
- 21:48Speaker 1: world champions, World champion. Yes, coming up at the top
- 21:55Speaker 1: of the hour, Miss Anne will be here with today's
- 21:57Speaker 1: National Days. Can I say this here? Uh huh? Can
- 22:01Speaker 1: all the Patriot fans quit talking to me about if
- 22:04Speaker 1: Brady had caught that ball? He did, he didn't catch
- 22:09Speaker 1: the damn ball and the ball went off his fingertips. Coach,
- 22:13Speaker 1: what quarterback is gonna lay out to catch your damn
- 22:16Speaker 1: page at forty right? The best he couldn't mind what
- 22:21Speaker 1: threw it to me. If he had caught that ball,
- 22:26Speaker 1: it would have been a different story. Hell, if he
- 22:31Speaker 1: hadn't a got sacked into the bumble, it might have
- 22:34Speaker 1: been different. Hell, if y'all had have scored eight more punts,
- 22:39Speaker 1: it could have been different. If you miss made some
- 22:46Speaker 1: of the field goals, it would have been different. But
- 22:49Speaker 1: you are in that chair, Blas, all right, you tem
- 22:58Speaker 1: he's up with his rundock rank back. What you got
- 23:02Speaker 1: w CS? W CS. That's the wife wife correction Service,

- 23:57Speaker 1: take your wives for a couple of weeks and we
- 23:59Speaker 1: repro gram them so that it's of course you have
- 24:02Speaker 1: to sign a waiver contract, but we take your wife
- 24:04Speaker 1: and we reprogrammed them so that they will act in
- 24:07Speaker 1: a fashion of what you want them to act. Oh, okay, man, okay,
- 24:12Speaker 1: whatever ce sir. What it is that we've gotten some
- 24:14Speaker 1: We've gotten some reports that you've been having some problems
- 24:17Speaker 1: with with your particular wife, and I located at we're
- 24:23Speaker 1: here in Saint Louis, sir, Okay, and don't worry We're
- 24:27Speaker 1: totally confidential. This is not anything that's going to get out.

- 24:41Speaker 1: has your wife ever snapped on you in public and
- 24:45Speaker 1: snapped on me? I mean what I mean, My wife
- 24:48Speaker 1: ain't crazy, see on the snap on me? Might you know,
- 24:51Speaker 1: try to check me U say something? You know what
- 24:53Speaker 1: I'm saying, just gonna snap on me? So your wife
- 24:56Speaker 1: your so your wife has tried to check you. It's
- 24:58Speaker 1: what you're saying. May not check me saying? I mean
- 25:00Speaker 1: she might. She might not like some mom doing and
- 25:03Speaker 1: might say something about it. But so basically your wife
- 25:07Speaker 1: is not in her place where she needs to be
- 25:09Speaker 1: hold on. I mean what you mean play? I mean
- 25:11Speaker 1: she might say something, you know, I mean, I might
- 25:14Speaker 1: be doing something more, you know, might be with my
- 25:16Speaker 1: boys and might get out of control a little bit.
- 25:18Speaker 1: She might just say something at the time, but she
- 25:20Speaker 1: don't just try to all out check nobody. You know
- 25:22Speaker 1: what I'm saying. Okay, okay, okay, I'll tell you what.
- 25:24Speaker 1: Let me ask you this one. Have you ever just
- 25:26Speaker 1: had some plans with your guys, we're gonna go out,
- 25:28Speaker 1: and had to change your plans because um, your wife. Well,
- 25:32Speaker 1: I mean, if if like I'm just coming about hanging
- 25:35Speaker 1: out and I ain't let her know something, she might
- 25:37Speaker 1: you know, be like, well, baby already had plans. You know,
- 25:40Speaker 1: can you stay home with the boys or something? But
- 25:42Speaker 1: I mean, I mean nothing on the regular. You know,
- 25:44Speaker 1: I usually do what I want to do. Seems like denial. Okay,
- 25:48Speaker 1: here's another one, sir, Well, no, listen, listen, hear me out. Now,
- 25:51Speaker 1: let me ask you this. Um has your wife? Let's say,
- 25:54Speaker 1: back when Michael Jordan was playing basketball, did you ever
- 25:57Speaker 1: miss a playoff game on television because your wife wanted
- 26:01Speaker 1: to watch something else? I mean, we got two TVs
- 26:03Speaker 1: in my house, man, I wish no. I don't even
- 26:06Speaker 1: get down. I mean I might have to watch the
- 26:07Speaker 1: little TV, okay, but I mean I usually watch it
- 26:10Speaker 1: on the big Yeah. But but you doing You've been
- 26:14Speaker 1: pushed to watching the smaller television. Now, I wouldn't push
- 26:17Speaker 1: to do nothing. Man. What I'm trying to tell you is,
- 26:19Speaker 1: I mean we compromise. We do fifty fifty in my house.
- 26:22Speaker 1: I mean, she might get the big TV to watch
- 26:24Speaker 1: her stories or something, and I just had to go
- 26:25Speaker 1: watch the little TV. Let the TV do go out
- 26:28Speaker 1: of here wants to see there. We got so cool
- 26:31Speaker 1: with that though. I'm cool with that. You're good with that.
- 26:33Speaker 1: So you're with that. You're actually the one that's programmed.
- 26:36Speaker 1: And you ain't nothing wrong with my wife. Ain't nothing
- 26:39Speaker 1: wrong with within my family? You know what I hondstand? Well,
- 26:41Speaker 1: let me the reason why I'm asking you these particular
- 26:44Speaker 1: questions is because someone has actually let me know the
- 26:48Speaker 1: problems that are at hand in your household. Let me
- 26:50Speaker 1: ask you. I got one question for you. Here's what
- 26:52Speaker 1: I want to ask you. Has your wife ever cushed
- 26:55Speaker 1: you out at a family cookout? Hey? Man, hold on, man,

- 28:30Speaker 1: saying you're calling my house, I'm minding my home, and
- 28:33Speaker 1: as you're worrying about who you're watching on TV in
- 28:35Speaker 1: my house and my wife checking me in public, I

- 30:26Speaker 1: our national news. You're listening to the stew Philly, the
- 30:33Speaker 1: City of Brotherly Love, is still celebrating. Philadelphia celebrated their
- 30:39Speaker 1: Eagles win for the first time in franchise history, and
- 30:43Speaker 1: the Eagle Nation is alive and well did you see
- 30:47Speaker 1: all of those people in the streets in downtown Philly. Wow,
- 30:50Speaker 1: just a sea of people. Yeah, I say first super
- 30:53Speaker 1: Bowl ever. Yeah, yeah, they've gone, but you know, yeah,
- 31:01Speaker 1: can I tell you I was so glad to be
- 31:03Speaker 1: brave man. Man, I'm telling the best thing in the world,
- 31:06Speaker 1: the best. Nothing to give them, the only thing joy
- 31:10Speaker 1: is just by some miracle. Cleveland want a super Bowl
- 31:14Speaker 1: for our lead as well, because I got new for
- 31:16Speaker 1: it's somebody else. They never want a super Bowl too,
- 31:19Speaker 1: It ain't Jeff Phillis, I'm happy for ever gone to
- 31:25Speaker 1: Super Bowl makes a seat to see a man they
- 31:32Speaker 1: have they have half. Hey, man, we've been to the
- 31:34Speaker 1: AFC Championship. That's it. You think it happened in your lifetime.
- 31:41Speaker 1: Don't say that because I never thought we'd have a
- 31:43Speaker 1: black president in our lifetime. That's totally different. Ships. Man,
- 31:47Speaker 1: We got one can actually vote going to do You
- 31:51Speaker 1: get so touchy when we talk about the brown that's
- 31:54Speaker 1: because I am cut. It's just a football all the
- 31:59Speaker 1: exactly about everything you ain't been through what I've been through.
- 32:04Speaker 1: As long as I've been through. Oh yeah, because you've
- 32:07Speaker 1: seen every single Super Bowl, never missed one, so have
- 32:13Speaker 1: the Browns. I didn't mean to say that. I did
- 32:16Speaker 1: not mean to say that. And he's a Brown say
- 32:25Speaker 1: that taking Brown jokes equivalent? That's damn because that's close
- 32:29Speaker 1: to your mama, whoa taking brown jokes from him? There, Mama,
- 32:36Speaker 1: let you have it. But it's the equivalent of all that. Wow,
- 32:41Speaker 1: that's deep, Steve, that's you really feel something for those
- 32:45Speaker 1: Brown times and the reading why it's hard to get
- 32:47Speaker 1: he makes he makes the worst jokes, okay, because he's
- 32:50Speaker 1: a Browns fan. So who your team? Jint? I don't.
- 32:53Speaker 1: I just I'm here for hate, that's all. I don't
- 32:56Speaker 1: have a team. I'm from South Carolina, William have a
- 32:59Speaker 1: football team. I just hate. That's all I got for you.
- 33:04Speaker 1: That's easy to understand. I hate. It's like my buddy Calhoun,
- 33:09Speaker 1: he was in Alabama. It's that damn roll Tide. Oh yeah,
- 33:18Speaker 1: that's big dynam man, that big, huge man. Man. It
- 33:23Speaker 1: is crazy. So I did one time jay I walked
- 33:27Speaker 1: in the Auburn store in the middle of it, looked
- 33:29Speaker 1: around and said roll Tide and they damn they tried
- 33:32Speaker 1: to kill me. Yeah's just sitting through footballs at me. There. Oh,
- 33:41Speaker 1: wasn't that when they killed the tree? That's what's Wasn't
- 33:44Speaker 1: the tree? The tree? Why was that? This hell billy? Yeah?
- 33:49Speaker 1: Yeah from uh he was a roll tied Yes, poison
- 33:57Speaker 1: the tree. They used to throw the toy on the corner.
- 34:02Speaker 1: I forgot the name of the very famous he poisoned
- 34:05Speaker 1: the tree. I don't Yeah, I don't have it. Kennedy, Yeah,
- 34:16Speaker 1: he poisoned tree. All right. Miss Anne is here with
- 34:20Speaker 1: uh today's news. Steve's please introduced her. Ladies and gentlemen.
- 34:25Speaker 1: Here she is our very own miss Anne Trip. Oh,
- 34:29Speaker 1: thank you. Good morning everybody. This is a trip with
- 34:31Speaker 1: the news. I'm starting out with some sad news the NFL,
- 34:34Speaker 1: and it's fans mourning the loss of Indianapolis Coats linebacker
- 34:37Speaker 1: Edwin Jackson. I didn't get to tell you about this yesterday.
- 34:39Speaker 1: Indianapolis State Police say Jackson and his uber driver were
- 34:42Speaker 1: run down and killed by a drunk driver early Sunday morning,
- 34:46Speaker 1: after Jackson became ill and had to get out of
- 34:48Speaker 1: the vehicle. Autharis had the suspect and custody's identified his
- 34:51Speaker 1: thirty seven year old Manuel Regosavala of Guatemala. A Tharti's
- 34:55Speaker 1: believed Savala was drunk and driving a pickup truck without
- 34:58Speaker 1: a license. They also say this guy was deported twice.
- 35:00Speaker 1: By the way. With the Eagles being the Super Bowl
- 35:02Speaker 1: champson for the first time in franchise history, next comes
- 35:05Speaker 1: a traditional White House visit. Right, maybe not. Several players
- 35:08Speaker 1: are already begging out of it, among them Eagles safety
- 35:11Speaker 1: Malcolm Jenkins, who raised his fist during the national anthem.
- 35:13Speaker 1: Jenkins says he ain't going. Wide receiver Torrey Smith's not going.
- 35:17Speaker 1: He said he didn't appreciate President Trump's going after players
- 35:19Speaker 1: who protested racism by taking a knee or raising a
- 35:22Speaker 1: fist during the national anthem. Of course, he's talking about
- 35:25Speaker 1: Colin Kaepernick and others, and defensive end Chris Long and
- 35:27Speaker 1: running back Lecgarrett Blount say they're not going to go either.
- 35:30Speaker 1: Both men played for the Patriots last year when they
- 35:33Speaker 1: won and refused to go to the White House. Then
- 35:35Speaker 1: they say they don't feel welcome by this president. A
- 35:38Speaker 1: horrible story out of Ohio. Police and Akron are looking
- 35:40Speaker 1: to see how a two year old little girl ended
- 35:42Speaker 1: up outside her home and froze to death. Neighbors say
- 35:45Speaker 1: the child lived with her older brother and mom, and
- 35:47Speaker 1: that she and her brother were often seen outside playing alone. Meanwhile,
- 35:50Speaker 1: it's that time again. Democrats and Republicans in Congress need
- 35:53Speaker 1: to come up with a compromised federal funding bill by Thursday,
- 35:56Speaker 1: or there could be yet another partial government shutdown. On
- 35:59Speaker 1: AHA and Sat News, actor John Mahoney has died. John
- 36:02Speaker 1: Mahoney played Kelsey Grammer's contentersus dad on the sitcom Frasier.
- 36:06Speaker 1: He played a lot of dads. Actually, he was seventy
- 36:08Speaker 1: seven years old. Meanwhile, funeral services being planned for the
- 36:11Speaker 1: Temptations Dennis Edwards, who died last Thursday, reportedly from complications
- 36:15Speaker 1: related to meningitis. Dennis Edwards played David Ruffins replaced rather
- 36:20Speaker 1: David Ruffins as the Attempts lead singer in nineteen sixty eight,
- 36:22Speaker 1: but he later sang by himself and with Say to
- 36:25Speaker 1: Garrett on this hit single. Dennis said Wards was seventy
- 36:43Speaker 1: four years old. The Supreme Court has told lawmakers in
- 36:46Speaker 1: Pennsylvania to redraw the map out line in that state's
- 36:48Speaker 1: eighteen congressional districts, thereby rejecting Republican legislative leaders efforts to
- 36:53Speaker 1: have the lower court ruling on it of thrown out.
- 36:55Speaker 1: They said the current lines violate the Constitution. Stopped. They
- 36:58Speaker 1: want that stop, but the the Supreme Court says, no,
- 37:01Speaker 1: we're not stopping. At the Pennsylvania Supreme Court rule last
- 37:03Speaker 1: month that the new lines were drawn unfairly in such
- 37:06Speaker 1: a way as to get as many Republicans elected as possible. Finally,
- 37:10Speaker 1: today African American Coaches Day, National ice Cream for Breakfast
- 37:13Speaker 1: dak Yeah, and National Lane Duck Day. It's time for
- 37:18Speaker 1: something you g in the Butterfly coming up. Twenty minutes
- 37:20Speaker 1: after they say, tuned to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 37:56Speaker 1: because you know, I do want to go ahead and
- 37:58Speaker 1: preach all right Bishop by the fly will will probate.
- 38:01Speaker 1: But what I'm thinking is do I want to preach
- 38:04Speaker 1: right now or go on tour with Kevin? And I
- 38:06Speaker 1: can't make up a decision on which one I want
- 38:08Speaker 1: to do? Boy? When Lord, why would you turn around
- 38:14Speaker 1: and called Kevin point? I don't think it was the Lord.
- 38:19Speaker 1: I think him. Guys, let me ask your question while
- 38:30Speaker 1: I let When I let Kevin sit in that day,
- 38:33Speaker 1: did you mention having Tommy open for him? Not Tommy?
- 38:36Speaker 1: You mean nothing about none of that mean butter Gene
- 38:41Speaker 1: asked Kevin if he could be on the tour and
- 38:44Speaker 1: he said hell to. Then why he's thinking? He toned
- 38:47Speaker 1: between this, this ain't got nothing to do with me? Oh,
- 38:49Speaker 1: Kevin said no, Yeah, Kevin said not directly. I don't
- 38:57Speaker 1: think it was directly. I think it was something he
- 38:59Speaker 1: was one to think about. That's what I think, So
- 39:02Speaker 1: don't kill it say though. No, you said, Eugene, you
- 39:08Speaker 1: were going to the different cities that Kevin was going to,
- 39:10Speaker 1: and you said were going and Kevin said, we ain't
- 39:13Speaker 1: going nowhere. I'm going, You're not going. So I don't
- 39:16Speaker 1: know when you're saying, he not directly, that's directly. Can
- 39:22Speaker 1: you get? Can you get? You took it that way, Yeah,
- 39:26Speaker 1: that's the way we took it. Said it that way. Yeah,
- 39:29Speaker 1: we all took it that way. You do better preaching.
- 39:31Speaker 1: I don't know if you ask, but we never found
- 39:34Speaker 1: out who. Actually how did this come on? It wasn't
- 39:39Speaker 1: low stop don't say that, but something when something comes
- 39:47Speaker 1: over you and you just get that feeling. So I mean,
- 39:50Speaker 1: I got that feeling that this is the thing that
- 39:51Speaker 1: I need to be doing. Yeah, when something come over
- 39:57Speaker 1: you were on you're talking about. Listen, just everybody saying
- 40:03Speaker 1: with me Bishop by the Fly. I think it works.

- 40:24Speaker 1: got called back to Sunday. All right, listen, we gotta
- 40:29Speaker 1: get out of here. Comedy Roulette is up next. You're
- 40:34Speaker 1: listening to stew All right, still representing Philly underdogs. No more.
- 40:40Speaker 1: Philadelphia Eagles are the world champions. Yes they are, Yes, yes,
- 40:47Speaker 1: yes they are yeah, first time ever? Yeah? All right,
- 40:51Speaker 1: so come on Steve Jay right now it is time
- 40:54Speaker 1: for comedy Roulette. All right, Light it go like this.
- 40:59Speaker 1: You give us five subjects, put them on a wheel.
- 41:02Speaker 1: Spun the wheel, where the wheel stop? We do the
- 41:06Speaker 1: damn thing sound like what I was playing. Justel alright,
- 41:16Speaker 1: you guys, ready, all right, let's go number one, being dumped,
- 41:21Speaker 1: Number two, Bad wedding, three bad games, bad games for
- 41:30Speaker 1: for all old music. I like that one Old music. Okay,
- 41:34Speaker 1: number five, I'm not the bank. Okay, the bank, not
- 41:39Speaker 1: the bank. Spen it, Okay, it's stopped on old music, guys,
- 41:51Speaker 1: Old music, old music. Back in the day, what we
- 41:58Speaker 1: had to go through to get out of me music,
- 42:00Speaker 1: it's not as simple as it is today. Like what
- 42:03Speaker 1: we went through to get our music. It wasn't no download.
- 42:08Speaker 1: You wanted to record something, you take your recorder, you
- 42:11Speaker 1: put it in front the radio, let it on record
- 42:15Speaker 1: and pause and wait for the DJ to shut the
- 42:19Speaker 1: hell up so you can get the damn song that
- 42:25Speaker 1: you shut up, I'm trying to record. Patience, stop talking,
- 42:33Speaker 1: you know. I like about old music. Old music was
- 42:37Speaker 1: was real subtle. Yes, you said what you wanted to
- 42:40Speaker 1: say in a real subtle way. See it was you know,
- 42:43Speaker 1: you know mystery, you know in between the sheets, you know,
- 42:46Speaker 1: real subtle. When you say it with old music today
- 42:50Speaker 1: is straight out I'm about to dive in. That's the song?
- 42:57Speaker 1: Do it like that? No, it wasn't done that way.
- 43:01Speaker 1: But when you lose old music, when you cossette and
- 43:04Speaker 1: all the ribbon hanging out and that's the last that's
- 43:08Speaker 1: the last of it you got. You got to go
- 43:11Speaker 1: find you a number two pencel stick it in that
- 43:14Speaker 1: cassette and get the turning that pencl to get that
- 43:16Speaker 1: ribbon back in there so you can play your own
- 43:19Speaker 1: music your side. Real simple. If you just wanted some music,
- 43:32Speaker 1: wasn't no download exist? What no? Put your thumb on
- 43:37Speaker 1: here and by you had to walk your ass to
- 43:41Speaker 1: mister ts or Georgian music. You had to walk, come
- 43:48Speaker 1: on and by the damn album, the forty five, the
- 43:53Speaker 1: cossette or the eight track. You had to walk and
- 43:59Speaker 1: purchase cad back ho hope it plays music. If you
- 44:07Speaker 1: did not know the name of the song, come on,
- 44:11Speaker 1: you had to go to the record store and you'd say,
- 44:14Speaker 1: do you have that song by? I don't know who
- 44:17Speaker 1: is by? He said, I go, You would go that
- 44:23Speaker 1: I don't know that? Come by the fact. See what
- 44:28Speaker 1: he says, sad you know the song and you sing
- 44:30Speaker 1: it again? By ain't by? Hey, it's not what you're doing.
- 44:40Speaker 1: Say again, man, say it again. Ain't hold on, Hold
- 45:02Speaker 1: on what you doing? Hold hold on inside side, saying again,
- 45:18Speaker 1: little man, y'all ain't got it. We ain't got that man.
- 45:20Speaker 1: We out. I know what we complained if we are out. Yeah,
- 45:25Speaker 1: nephew Tommy has a prank phone call coming up next.
- 45:30Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming up at
- 45:33Speaker 1: the top of the hour, right about four minutes after
- 45:36Speaker 1: it's Today's Strawberry Letter. But up next, nephew Tommy is

- 52:16Speaker 1: coming to break it. Oh this used to upset my mom.

- 54:17Speaker 1: put it on there. All right, coming up at the
- 54:20Speaker 1: top of the hour, Today's Strawberry Letter. We'll be back.
- 54:24Speaker 1: You're listening to morning show. All right, it is time
- 54:28Speaker 1: for today's Strawberry Letter. And if you need some help
- 54:31Speaker 1: or advice with a situation or an issue that you're
- 54:34Speaker 1: dealing with, please send us your Strawberry letter at Steve
- 54:37Speaker 1: HARVEYFM dot com. Steve and I could read your letter
- 54:40Speaker 1: on the air and try to help you out. Nephew,
- 54:43Speaker 1: let's go buckle up, hold on tight. Here it is letter,
- 54:48Speaker 1: all right, thank you. Subject lots of mess and no sex.
- 54:54Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley, I am a twenty five year old woman.
- 54:57Speaker 1: I married my husband when I was nineteen years old,
- 55:00Speaker 1: and I am starting to believe that it was a mistake.
- 55:04Speaker 1: We both work. His days off are consistent, but my
- 55:07Speaker 1: days fluctuate. When I'm off, I clean and cook, I
- 55:11Speaker 1: take care of our two children, and I make sure
- 55:14Speaker 1: everyone has what they need. But lately I've been the
- 55:18Speaker 1: one who needs to be checked on to make sure
- 55:21Speaker 1: I'm good. He waits until I get home and ask
- 55:23Speaker 1: me what's for dinner instead of trying to cook something
- 55:26Speaker 1: for himself and the kids. I love my husband and
- 55:29Speaker 1: we have fun together, but I don't want to keep
- 55:32Speaker 1: feeling depressed and stressed out. I just want him to
- 55:36Speaker 1: take the darned trash out and pick up after himself.
- 55:40Speaker 1: Most of the messes aren't just from the kids. He's
- 55:43Speaker 1: messy too, So I have started withholding sex from him.
- 55:48Speaker 1: I'm not in the mood to have sex when my
- 55:49Speaker 1: house is not clean. Is it wrong for me to
- 55:52Speaker 1: keep the cookie from my husband? Is there a better
- 55:55Speaker 1: way to get him to help me out around the house?
- 55:57Speaker 1: Please help? Well, you guys have been married for six years.
- 56:02Speaker 1: You don't say you say you're twenty five. You married
- 56:04Speaker 1: when you were nineteen, and you don't give his age.
- 56:06Speaker 1: But I have to ask you. Have you talked to
- 56:08Speaker 1: him about this? Have you let him in on what
- 56:12Speaker 1: you're feeling, how unhappy you are, and that you need
- 56:15Speaker 1: help around the house. Have you asked him to help it?
- 56:17Speaker 1: Sounds like these are feelings that you're having that you
- 56:21Speaker 1: just haven't expressed to him. A lot of times, depending
- 56:24Speaker 1: on how you say things, how you say things, you
- 56:28Speaker 1: can get your man to do just about anything, especially
- 56:31Speaker 1: I mean, and at the very least take out the
- 56:34Speaker 1: trash you start withholding sex and not telling him why.
- 56:38Speaker 1: There could be a serious problem in in your marriage,
- 56:42Speaker 1: for sure. I just think, you know this is all
- 56:46Speaker 1: inside you're feeling, this rage, this passive aggressiveness. Let it out.
- 56:49Speaker 1: It's your house too, you know, you guys are both working.
- 56:53Speaker 1: Maybe you can, you know, talk about having someone to
- 56:55Speaker 1: come in and clean your house so you won't be
- 56:57Speaker 1: so tired, and then you know, you'll get the most
- 57:00Speaker 1: of both worlds. You'll have a clean house, You'll you'll
- 57:04Speaker 1: be rested, not depressed, not stressed out. Perhaps you could
- 57:07Speaker 1: do something like that, but first of all, above anything,
- 57:10Speaker 1: you have to talk to your husband and let him
- 57:12Speaker 1: know how you feel. Steve, well, you know they're twenty five.
- 57:18Speaker 1: She's been married six years and got married at nineteen.
- 57:20Speaker 1: That's young. That's very very young. And so when you're young, look,
- 57:28Speaker 1: marriages work anyway, but when you're young, you got a
- 57:33Speaker 1: lot of work to put on yourself because you don't
- 57:35Speaker 1: even know you yet. And what could have happened here,
- 57:38Speaker 1: young lady, is that do you that you have become
- 57:42Speaker 1: at twenty five after two children. You cannot be the
- 57:46Speaker 1: same person you were when you were in nineteen. That's
- 57:49Speaker 1: absolutely impossible. True, you cannot be the same person. So
- 57:54Speaker 1: you've changed into this other person. And what has happened
- 57:57Speaker 1: in between you and your husband is now now that
- 57:59Speaker 1: you've grown up and you've got these two kids, and
- 58:02Speaker 1: you are twenty five and not nineteen. Well, this person
- 58:06Speaker 1: that you've become without proper communication might not be a
- 58:11Speaker 1: good match for who he is. And if he hasn't
- 58:14Speaker 1: progressed like you, for example, he's still very messy. You
- 58:18Speaker 1: just wanted to pick up behind the selton. You want
- 58:20Speaker 1: him to take out the trash your off days fluctuate.
- 58:24Speaker 1: You want when you come home from work, he'd been
- 58:26Speaker 1: sitting there all day instead of waiting on you to
- 58:27Speaker 1: come through the dark time or what's for dinner? He
- 58:29Speaker 1: could be doing something now because he's doing it this way,
- 58:33Speaker 1: now you're withholding the cookie from him. Is there a
- 58:37Speaker 1: better way to get him to help out around the house?
- 58:40Speaker 1: Please help? Cookie withdrawal is very real. Come on, cookie,
- 58:49Speaker 1: Cookie withdrawal gets everybody's undivided attention. I've been placed under
- 58:59Speaker 1: cookie panic before. It's stressful. You don't know when it's going.
- 59:09Speaker 1: It creates a lot of things. But before I get
- 59:12Speaker 1: into the cookie part, let me just tell you this
- 59:16Speaker 1: right quick. You're building up a resentment now, it's starting
- 59:21Speaker 1: to resent him for his lack of understanding of your
- 59:25Speaker 1: needs and your wants. And like Shirley said, she said
- 59:28Speaker 1: it best right. You know, have you all even talked
- 59:33Speaker 1: about it again? You really need to have a serious conversation. Now,
- 59:40Speaker 1: let's get back to this cookie, never far from it,
- 59:44Speaker 1: because this is what this letter really about you with
- 59:47Speaker 1: holden cookie. You've heard the old saying cookie crumbles. That's
- 59:57Speaker 1: the way, that's the way the cookie crumb. Well, if
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: that's how the cookie gonna crumbling, and that's how to
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: manage gonna crumbling. But everybody's gonna be crumbling right now.
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: That was deep, Steve was deep right there. Say that again.
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: I don't know what I said. That's how to manage
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: you know, it was good, but it was bearing repeating
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: that and it can do that, and you've got to
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: you've got to understand that. And see, once you start
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: using the cookie as a pond in the chess game,
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: then when do you stop this? See, the best form
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: of the way to handle this is like Shirley said, communication.
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: So let's say you start withholding the cookie. Here's the
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: danger of withholding the cookie. He gotta get some cookies somewhere,
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: and it's cookies everywhere. They got cookies at routes. They
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: got cookies. See, they got cookies that whole food route
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: save on. They got cookie down at the drugs. You
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: can buy cookies at CBS. You get cookies at the hotel.
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: Let's cookies on your job. It's cooking down there at
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: the post office. They got cookies at the Apple store.
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: You get cook You cooking down there trying to rind
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: a call. You go down to the restaurant. I'll be damn.
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: They got cookies. Talk about this cooking. He shouldn't have
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: been cooking right here. And let me tell you something
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: really quick, because I got time to come back. When
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: I come back, I'll tell you what the different flavors
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: of cookies mean and how cooking flavors affects our taste. Yes,
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: you know, I will put ages two of them and
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: everything when we come back. Your cookies, all right, you
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: heard it? We'll have part two. If Steve's response, He's
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: gonna really get into the cookie. At twenty three after
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: the hour. You're listening show All right, Steve, come on,
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: you promised us you were gonna tell us about this cookie, um,
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: and so let's get into it part two of your
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: response to today's letter. See we're talking about cookie right now.
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: Lots of messing, no sex. That's the subject tied to
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: this man, not cooking clean to helping with the kids. Nothing.
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: So now what he want to do is now he
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: wants to she she wants to get a better reaction
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: from the man. So now she's with holding the cookie.
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: With holding the cookie, what kind of cookie is she
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: with holding? Let's die with my all time favorite cookie,
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: chocolate Chilly. Nothing has mattered more to me than chocolate chill.
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: The reason chocolate chill, if it's been my favorite cookie,
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: is because of the chocolate chips that's in the cookie. Lord,
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: how good is a chocolate chip cookie. It's a good cooking.
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: It's a good cookie. It's a good cookie. Then you
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: got oldmeal cookies, oldmeal boat raising with it. And there
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: you gotta have raising in that because see oldmeal by yourself,
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: ain't nothing. See it's like I'm working with a dude
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: I called oldmeal man. He wasn't nothing. He needed something
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: put on him all the time. See oldmeal, oldmeal man
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: is like a dude that need honey, need brown sugar,
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: needs some fruit. Because oldmeal, by yourself, ain't nothing that
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: I don't really carevil oldmeal raising cooking. I eat it,
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: but it's not my favorite. And oldmeal and then that
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: leads me to pecans. Sandies is another favorite. But that's
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: old cookie though, because it's a little dusty when you buy.
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: I didn't do it old cookie. Yeah, old cookies, pekan say,
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: that's old cookies. Got a little dust, he got a
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: little salt dust flavor to it. Then you got short
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: bread cookie like my one of my all time favorites.
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: What Laurna dude? Yeah, you know I loved I loved
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: Lorna Dunes. And then you had let's get into the
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: special cookie Oreo talking about. So maybe you're in an
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: iteracial relationship. That's Oreo cookie. Hell, that's the best right there.
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: That's a little black and white. He love it, talk
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: about it. That's not for you. Your favorite cookie? Vanilla
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: cream on it. Oreo outweigh vanilla cream all day long.
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: But I must tell you this thing. Come on, come on,
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: I have had some delicious vanilla cream cookies. I'm just
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: talking about the cookie itself now, not not Jay's cookie.
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: Now I have seen so vanilla cream cookies. Oh Lord
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: spelled me, guide me not fall that. I may not
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: fall astraight. Let me explain to you the other cookie.
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: Throw out another cookie. I'll tell you what kind of
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: cookie it is. Peanut butter cookies. Who don't like them?
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: I don't know anyone. Everybody like them. Everybody like peanut
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: butter cookie called peanut butter cookies. It's like the Janet
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: Jackson or cookies. Oh what do you mean? Break that down?
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: I didn't know when Janet was on fire. I ain't
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: on Nobody didn't like them. I just didn't know nobody
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: didn't like Girl Scout cookies. Got pepper mint ten minutes,
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: ten mints. Yeah, outstanding cookie. The Girl Scouts have some
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: cookie they could quitch sell it like what. I don't know,
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: but that was pretty good. Yeah, they got a couple
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: of them. Don't need to be off the market. Know
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: what in that? I tell you one of the great
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: cookie makers of all time, the Keebler Elf. Yeah, they
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: are made. Yeah, time had been in there. Oh my god,
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: Tommy had summer job in that one year. I used
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: to take him down there, man, drive down there picking
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: my back. Man, how you do that day? Oh? Boy, Hey,
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: we're working on feeling over here about good? Oh? Those
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: were yeah, I ain't a bagging him down Vegas this
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: weekend sugar cookie, Steve, sugar cookie. Sugar cookies was good. Nothing.
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: Nothing beat a chocolate chip. I used to love chip
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: a hoard until I found out that Archway made him soft.
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: Oh yeah, because I was used to snap and biting them.
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: But boy, when I found out they made them them
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: chocolate chips soft. You never had ginger snaps. Boy, chokes
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: that little dog. I thought that was actually a meal. Yeah,
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: ginger snap, right, yeah? Yeah? So what is cookie? Her
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: keeping the cookie help her marriage? No, it's not gonna help. No,
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: it's not because the man gonna go get some cookie.
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: See that's a sad thing about it. Are we're still
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: on the letter? Yeah, back and forth. What about short
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: briad Oh yeah, those are good you talked about. Yeah,
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: that's the line he worked on. No, that's the line

- 1:09:42Speaker 1: was Valentine Day and I'm seeing all these people with
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: red on and giving out flowers, like, damn, did I
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: miss Valentine Day? So it's it's it's sweet, It's Sweethearts
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: Day or something like that Sweetest Day. I think October. Yeah,
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: they also called Valentine's to day, uh single awareness today,

- 1:10:20Speaker 1: it wrong. Yeah after year, Now, this one's tricky. You
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: won't believe this. Well first, first, let me do this.
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: Don't underdo it. And what I mean by that is
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: don't buy like a real small box of nothing because
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: less that damn thing got a diamond ring in it? Right,
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: that small box gonna backfire on you. You have your
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: woman said there gonna really seriously, who is this fault?
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: Because I don't know you know it don't have a
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: ring in it. That's the only thing small you can
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: get up right now. On the flip side, don't overdo it, Okay.
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: What you don't want to do is give her this
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: big giant box of candy because I swear to god
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: she gonna turn that on you. Oh so what you're
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: trying to get me fat? That ain't gonna work out.
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: Here's another one. Make sure fellas that she liked bass
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: for you go out and buy what everybody don't like. Man, Yeah,
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: people got phobias against that. Don't go out that get

- 1:11:34Speaker 1: the boxer can. People don't want to have a full box.
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: Don't lift that little crumlin brown piece and try to
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: eat one out the bottom. They gonna see it, They
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: gonna that's funny right there. Now, if you go give
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: out more than one box or candy on Valentine's, listen
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: to me carefully, fella. Ladies, don't get tight because I
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: ain't talking about for two different women. It's possible like
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: maybe your mom, your sister or co worker or some
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: hide them boxes. Don't have them on the back seat,
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: just sitting there, because if your woman get in and
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: see them three boxes of candy and she already got hurt,
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: you're not gonna be able to explain this away, partner. Now,
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: these are Valentine's, dudes, and don't from them. You'll know
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: when it's time to send sexy lingerie. Okay, okay, but
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: you just met this girl. You can't give a seat
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: through draw You just met and now now you pull
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: out a pair of seat through panics. Boy, I messed

- 1:13:16Speaker 1: for players out there, if you're going out with more
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: than one person. All right, check these damn names. I
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: can't stress this enough, chick, the damn names on the
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: gift boxes. Check the name on the reservations, double check
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: and triple check. I cannot stress this is from prior
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: experien You really happen. That's I have sent the Christmas gifts,
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: same gift to two girls. Can't put the damn names
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: and mix them up on the pod, same paper. Everything
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: learned from your mistakes. Man, Yeah, all right, Valentine's dun
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: This is still talking to players. Use more than one florist.
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: You don't the flores? Calling somebody else asking did they

- 1:15:16Speaker 1: Pay attention to your phone. Do not send out group

- 1:15:35Speaker 1: Don't love them all together? Time a man that I get.
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: They ain't gonna pay no attention to that. She ain't
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: gonna see that. The most dangerous words on the phone
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: is sin. All right, one more, Steve, as you'll get
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: the most points. Come on, gifts will go the furthest

- 1:16:19Speaker 1: have to cover a promise, but they are the beer maker.
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: The beer maker agreed to cover Eagles offensive tackle Lane
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: Johnson's promise of beer for everyone if the Eagles won
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: the Super Bowl. Johnson made the promise last August. Last August,
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: during the preseason. Okay, uh, after Johnson and the Eagles
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: upset the New England Patriots and Sunday night Super Bowl
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: fifty two, Bud Light issued a proclamation every Eagles fan
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: twenty one and older can get a free beer at
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: bars along the team's victory parade route through Philly. The
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: parade in Philly will now be a dilly dilly. Who
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: Ever came up with that is genius. I know, I know,
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: all right, Um, Jane, know what is this? Is it
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: just me? Or? Out of comics have used the phrase
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: is it just me to start their comedy routines. These
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: are just a couple of is it just me? That's all?
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: This is nothing big? Okay. For instance, we were just
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: talking about that is it just me? Or our girl

- 1:17:51Speaker 1: phone call. But it's scarce thing. It's just just me.
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: But the person in the family they call us all
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: the trouble when they call you and say it's what
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: you really don't want to know. It's not just you know,
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: it's not a man. Yeah, I didn't think so, I
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: didn't think so I gotta ask, has the preview's gotten longer?
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: At the movie thing? Oh my god? Yeah? Yeah, but
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: don't start till about four five. I love trailer man.
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: That woman. Let me ask you this. When you lost
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: you and your car lost, did you turn down the
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: radio so you can see better? Had nothing to do
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: with me, but you got to see though. Everybody got
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: to shut up. Hush, I'm lost, Just hush that fuss.
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: I can't concentrate me. Is it just me? I'm starting up?
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: Is it just me? No matter how many orders of
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: fries you buy, by time you get home, they're gonnas
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: you're gonna eat. It's not just you. Yeah, you can't
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: buy them Frisch fries and not eat them on the
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: way say that same Yeah, no, no, no, I'm saying,
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: I'll tell you what. Is it just me? But when
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: you break a hunt, it don't it disappear? Oh my god,
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: I had six dollars, right, So true, that's so true.
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: You try to hold on to a hund in the casino.
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: I just okay, I gotta Is it just me? But
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: when you hear the water running for about ten fifteen,
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: do you have to peet right out? You gotta do it.
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: You gotta go. It's not just you. Ye okay, okay,
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: I'm just you. Ever been you've been looking for your

- 1:20:24Speaker 1: house with all the way up, staying all around it. Man,
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: I'm just talking. I'm talking to my wife. And then
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: she said, Steve, why are you breathing? Its hardy? I'm
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: running up these steps. She say, what you do? I
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: thought you was getting in the car. You was going
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: to play golf. Baby, I can't find my phone, she says, Steve,
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: you talking on I ain't saying nothing. I just wouldn't
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: gotten the car. Act like we disconnected. It's not just me,
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: but that little baby in the restaurant is staring at you,
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: and you cannot concentrate at all. Is he looking at you?
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: Or what all? That little baby? I've done that? What
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: you looking at and lock eyes? Yeah? You know? And
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: they don't blinks it's really wet all the time, so
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: it looked like little board from children. That was the movie.
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: Oh my god, Oh man, you know what, Jay, I
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: just say that that is it just me, y'all. But
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: when I see people in workout clothes but they body
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: don't fit the shape of the workout, they have never
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: don't say to yourself, I did I just look to that?
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: You feel better? You feel bad enough, bottom, you under
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: warm everywhere everything, but you are crazy. No, they ain't working.
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: When you see a fat person walking and eating, don't
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: you always say to yourself, your hands don't even need it?
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: Business all right, okay his one, ladies, you probably understand
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: the men too. You buy a brand new pair of shoes,
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: brand new, O what you're spend for one gonna hurt
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: worse than the other. I don't know why. I don't
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: even didn't do this spot on purpose. And let's just
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: make this this. Have you ever had a corn and
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: thought about killing yourself? That's all right, thanks guys, more
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: of this craziness when we come back at twenty after
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: the hour. You're listening to the Steven Show some eagles.
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: I don't know if you guys have heard about this,
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: but some Eagles will skip White House visit? All right?
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: Has the President extended a formal limitation yet though? Yeah? Yeah.
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: Just hours after the Philadelphia Eagles won the Super Bowl,
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: talk is turning to who won't visit the White House
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: to celebrate the win. Given Donald Trump's Twitter war over
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: kneeling during the national anthem, it should be no surprise
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: that some of the championship team will not be making
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: that traditional trip. No, Sir Malcolm Jenkins, who became a
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: spokesman for the players who protested, shouldn't be expected there.
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: La Garrett Blunt, who played for the Patriots last year,
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: skipped the visit at the time, saying I just don't
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: feel welcome into that house. Is it mandatory? Yeah? Um,
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: he said, yeah, he just doesn't feel welcome and he's
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: gonna leave it at that. Chris Long also will not go,
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: as he didn't last year as a Patriot, and there
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: has been no date for the visits set, a no
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: official word about it from the team or any of
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: the players. Right now, guess what they're doing, celebrate baby? Yeah.
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: The Trump thumbs gonna be on fire. I try to
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: tweet all the names of the people who ain't gonna
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: show up. You're not invited colation. Oh he didn't have
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: to do that. Congratulations after already set for Brady. Just yeah,
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: Brady didn't go to the White House last year. He
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: didn't go, and therefore, yeah, he didn't go. He didn't
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: Did he go last year? He said he had previous plans. Yeah,
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: he what a Trump were friends? Yeah, you know, man,
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: I want to give a shout out to Random moss
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: Randy moss is going to the Hall of Fame. Yeah, yeah, man,
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: that's your boy. He had to ran West Virginia, Random
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: moss Heed. Is he from basically from West Virginia? Yeah, yeah,
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: Rand West Virginia. He was born there. What did he
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: what part? Oh you're just getting a shout out. Yeah,
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: he's just going to the Hall of Fame. Man. Oh yeah,
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: oh yeah he got He made it to Lawrence didn't
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: make it again. Man, But but god, I feel bad.
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: Numbers wise, yes, yeah, statistics, oh my god, yes, what
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: are the other factors that determine it? Then your behavior
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: it has a lot to do it like that. Baseball
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: is even worse. Really, baseball is what Baseball is hip
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: critical though it's America's game. If they suspect you even
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: without being proving of taking the drug. Get you out.
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: They won't let Pete Roles in. And that boy deserves
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: to be in the Hall of Fame. Man, he's one
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: of the great baseball players. Well because right he bet
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: on the game. Right, his behavior, but his athleticis right
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: for the sport. It had nothing to do with the
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: way he played the game. Yeah, I feel bad for him.
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: You know, Barry Bonds should be there. Barry Bonds, and
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: that Roger Clement should be in the Hall of Fame
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: for baseball is running. That's too early. They're gonna have
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: problems with him too. They just hit him critical in
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: baseball because you can take a steroid if you want to.
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: They ain't got nothing to do with your You're hitting
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: at that gun ball. You got to swing that man,
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: hit that ball. That ball it's coming now. Somebody said
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: the hardest things in the world of comedy and hitting
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: a baseball, and that's absolutely comedy. Really really yeah, all right,
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: we'll have more of a Steve Harvey Morning show right
- 1:27:10Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to Steve Show. Philly, the city
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: of Brotherly Love is still celebrating. Philadelphia celebrated their Eagles
- 1:27:21Speaker 1: win for the first time in franchise history, and the
- 1:27:25Speaker 1: Eagle Nation is alive, and well did you see all
- 1:27:29Speaker 1: of those people in the streets in downtown Philly. Wow,
- 1:27:32Speaker 1: just a sea of people. Yeah, I say first super
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: Bowl ever. Yeah, yeah, they've gone, but do you know,
- 1:27:41Speaker 1: yeah they can. I tell you, I was so glad
- 1:27:44Speaker 1: to be Brady man. I'm telling the best. Nothing to give.
- 1:27:49Speaker 1: The only thing joy is just by some miracle, Cleveland
- 1:27:55Speaker 1: won a super Bowl for a leaders world because I
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: got new for somebody else. They never want to Super
- 1:28:00Speaker 1: Bowl too, It ain't Jeff Phillis, I'm happy have ever
- 1:28:07Speaker 1: gone to Super Bowl. They've never makes a seat to
- 1:28:10Speaker 1: see any half pay half. Hey man, we've been to
- 1:28:16Speaker 1: the AFC Championship. That's it. You think it happened in
- 1:28:20Speaker 1: your lifetime. Don't say that because we never thought we'd
- 1:28:25Speaker 1: have a black president in our lifetime. That's totally different. Ships. Man,
- 1:28:28Speaker 1: we got one. You can actually vote gone. Do you
- 1:28:33Speaker 1: get so touchy when we talk about the Brown that's
- 1:28:36Speaker 1: because I am cooking. It's just a football team exactly
- 1:28:41Speaker 1: about everything. You ain't been through what I've been through
- 1:28:46Speaker 1: as long as I've been through. Oh yeah, because you've
- 1:28:49Speaker 1: seen every single Super Bowl a never missed one. So'll
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: have the browns. I didn't mean to say that. I
- 1:28:58Speaker 1: did not mean to say that. And he's a brown
- 1:29:06Speaker 1: say that, I take brown jokes equivalent. That's damn because
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: that's close to your mama. Whoa now taking brown jokes
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: from him? Mama, let you have it. But it's the
- 1:29:19Speaker 1: equivalent of all that. Wow, that's deep, Steve, that's you
- 1:29:25Speaker 1: really feel something for those brown times. And then why
- 1:29:28Speaker 1: it's hard to get he makes he makes the worst jokes, okay,
- 1:29:31Speaker 1: because he's a Brown fan. Who your team, jahn't. I
- 1:29:34Speaker 1: just I'm here to hate, that's all. I don't have
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: a team. I'm from South Carolina, William have a football team.
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: I just hate. That's all I got for you. That's
- 1:29:46Speaker 1: easy to understand. I'm here hate. It's like my buddy
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: cal who even Alabama it's that damn road tide. Oh yeah,
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: that's big dynam man, that be huge. Man. Man, it
- 1:30:04Speaker 1: is crazy, but I did one time Jay I walked
- 1:30:09Speaker 1: in the Auburn store in the middle of it, looked
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: around and said, roll tied and they damn they tried
- 1:30:14Speaker 1: to kill me. Yeah, he's just sitting through footballs at me.
- 1:30:21Speaker 1: There wasn't that when they killed the tree, And that's
- 1:30:24Speaker 1: what's Wasn't that the tree? The tree? Why was that
- 1:30:29Speaker 1: this hell billy? Yeah? Yeah, from uh he was a
- 1:30:34Speaker 1: roll tied Yes, poison the tree they used to throw
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: the toilet tissue off on the corner. I forgot the
- 1:30:44Speaker 1: name of very famous he poisoned the tree. Yeah, I
- 1:30:54Speaker 1: don't have that, cannot Yeah, he poisoned the tree. All right,
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: We'll be back with Steve's closing remarks, with our last
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: break of the day, and just one more thing right
- 1:31:05Speaker 1: after this. You're listening, all right, Steve, last break of
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: the day. Here we are with just one more thing
- 1:31:14Speaker 1: and your closing remarks to date. I want to share
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: something inspirational to all of you again. I want you
- 1:31:21Speaker 1: all to understand something. It's not that I know everything,
- 1:31:24Speaker 1: because I don't, but I have been through quite a bit.
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: My life has been a walking testimonial. If I'm allowed
- 1:31:34Speaker 1: to say that, I am a walking testimony of the
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: power of prayer, what prayer can do to change a person.
- 1:31:44Speaker 1: I am a walking testiment of what grace and mercy is.
- 1:31:49Speaker 1: Because God has forgiven me thousands of times He has
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: poured into my life above and beyond anything that I
- 1:31:59Speaker 1: ever really imagine i'd have. You know, it amazes me
- 1:32:02Speaker 1: when people say always knew I'd be here. I can't
- 1:32:06Speaker 1: say that, because how can I say I always knew
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: I'd be here when I didn't even know here existed.
- 1:32:12Speaker 1: I had imagined some things, but I am beyond what
- 1:32:17Speaker 1: I was capable of imagining back as a child. What
- 1:32:22Speaker 1: how would I know any of this? And So what
- 1:32:25Speaker 1: I want to talk to you all about is a
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: couple of things that it takes to become successful. And
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: if you're willing to do a couple of things, you
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: can be successful. One of the things is first things First,
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: the Bible says, a man without a dream or visions
- 1:32:45Speaker 1: your perish. So first thing, you gotta want something. You
- 1:32:51Speaker 1: gotta have some dreams. But after you have these dreams,
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: you have to convert the dream into goals. The only
- 1:33:03Speaker 1: way to convert a dream into a goal is to
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: start planning how to make the dream come true, and
- 1:33:11Speaker 1: then start taking the necessary steps towards the goal, which
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: can still be your dream. Now here's a cool thing
- 1:33:23Speaker 1: about taking that step in the right direction towards your dreams.
- 1:33:26Speaker 1: Your dreams can change, which means the goal will change
- 1:33:31Speaker 1: and your dream will change along the way, because you're
- 1:33:33Speaker 1: going to get exposed and see some things that you
- 1:33:36Speaker 1: didn't even know existed before, and you'll add that to
- 1:33:39Speaker 1: the vision board, and then and then and then, and
- 1:33:42Speaker 1: then you'll make that a new goal. It's just gonna
- 1:33:45Speaker 1: be a lot of that. And so what you have
- 1:33:49Speaker 1: to do is you have to keep on pushing. You
- 1:33:54Speaker 1: have to keep pressing forward because all of that is
- 1:33:58Speaker 1: going to change, Trust me, it will. So you got
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: to convert the dreams into goals. That's simply making those
- 1:34:06Speaker 1: dreams have a plan of action. The next thing you're
- 1:34:09Speaker 1: going to have to do is you're going to have
- 1:34:12Speaker 1: to be willing to give up some free time. You
- 1:34:17Speaker 1: got to get rid of free time. Time is something
- 1:34:20Speaker 1: you can never get back, and free time often is
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: wasted time. I'm not saying you can't have no free time,
- 1:34:29Speaker 1: because everybody needs some free time, but you got to
- 1:34:32Speaker 1: limit the free time until you get to where you're going.
- 1:34:37Speaker 1: See when you see a person who's wealthy taking some
- 1:34:41Speaker 1: time off, they've accumulated some stuff where they can take
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: some time off. But if you check to check, you
- 1:34:49Speaker 1: ain't got that. You don't have that. See, wealthy people
- 1:34:54Speaker 1: accumulate time and wealth, so they have a reserve. So
- 1:34:58Speaker 1: when they out of work for five eight weeks, they
- 1:35:01Speaker 1: still got income coming. They still got money being made.
- 1:35:07Speaker 1: But for those of you that's on the hustle and
- 1:35:09Speaker 1: the grind, you gotta cut into some of that free time.
- 1:35:14Speaker 1: Take some of that free time and turn it into
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: productive time. See it's PT time. See FT is free time,
- 1:35:23Speaker 1: but PT is productive time. And you've got to swap
- 1:35:28Speaker 1: those two out so you can take advantage of your
- 1:35:31Speaker 1: times in the day. People ask me all the time, man,
- 1:35:33Speaker 1: how you do all that that you be doing. I
- 1:35:35Speaker 1: got the same twenty four everybody else got. I've just
- 1:35:39Speaker 1: decided to remove some of the free time and replace
- 1:35:43Speaker 1: it with productive time. And then here's the deal. I
- 1:35:47Speaker 1: spend all my time building my dreams, so when I
- 1:35:52Speaker 1: get some time, I can live my dreams. Do you
- 1:35:56Speaker 1: understand me? That's the exchange that you have to be
- 1:36:00Speaker 1: willing to make. Y'all. Success is not gonna walk up
- 1:36:04Speaker 1: to the door and just present itself in the basket,
- 1:36:06Speaker 1: ring the doorbell and walk off. And you open it
- 1:36:08Speaker 1: up and there is the mailman don't drop it off.
- 1:36:11Speaker 1: It's a grind and a hustle. I say it all
- 1:36:13Speaker 1: the time. The dream is absolutely free. The hustle is
- 1:36:17Speaker 1: sold separately. I'm on the hustle man. I invite you
- 1:36:22Speaker 1: to get on the hustle and folks, you can do it.
- 1:36:26Speaker 1: You can do it, man, if you if you swap
- 1:36:30Speaker 1: out some of these free time for productive time, if
- 1:36:32Speaker 1: you take all this stuff you dream, nothing comes to
- 1:36:35Speaker 1: a dream of but some more dreams. Eventually. You gotta
- 1:36:39Speaker 1: swap those dreams out and replace the dreams with goals.
- 1:36:43Speaker 1: If you're dreaming of a big house, you gotta make
- 1:36:46Speaker 1: the goal a big house. If you're dreaming of owning
- 1:36:49Speaker 1: a business one day, you gotta make that owning a
- 1:36:52Speaker 1: business a goal. It's got to be a necessity. You
- 1:36:57Speaker 1: gotta want to be successful like you want nothing else.
- 1:37:01Speaker 1: You gotta want it. You gotta break it, you breathe it.
- 1:37:03Speaker 1: You gotta dream dreaming, you gotta live it. You gotta
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: eat it, you gotta taste it, you gotta want it.
- 1:37:10Speaker 1: You gotta get funky to get it. You got to
- 1:37:15Speaker 1: get funky to get it, man. You got to have
- 1:37:19Speaker 1: a lot of dog in you. So if you want
- 1:37:21Speaker 1: to be successful. Convert those dreams into goals. Keep on dreaming,
- 1:37:27Speaker 1: and just keep converting them into more goals. Take some
- 1:37:30Speaker 1: of that free time, get rid of it, and turn
- 1:37:33Speaker 1: it into productive time. You can change the course of
- 1:37:37Speaker 1: your life, all right, Steve? Oh, quickly tonight quake? Is
- 1:37:42Speaker 1: there tonight? Oh? Of course if you feel have me
- 1:37:57Speaker 1: for all. Steve Harvey contests no purchase necessary, void where prohibited.
