- 0:13Speaker 1: move like theming bus bus things. And it's true good it.
- 0:20Speaker 1: Steve hasten to move together for Stubby. I don't join
- 0:43Speaker 1: by join me to be doing me. You gotta turn,
- 1:10Speaker 1: you gotta turn to turn them out, got to turn
- 1:44Speaker 1: out the water, the water. Come, come on your back
- 1:59Speaker 1: at it. I'm good Martin. Everybody, y'all listening to the voice,
- 2:06Speaker 1: Come on, dig me na, one and only Steve Harley
- 2:09Speaker 1: got a radio show. Here we go today. I think
- 2:14Speaker 1: I have something for a lot of people today, at
- 2:16Speaker 1: least I hope I do. And this is about on
- 2:20Speaker 1: your journey, And this is about something that happens to
- 2:25Speaker 1: us all. I mean, what happens to all of us
- 2:30Speaker 1: from time to time when we get discouraged, What happens
- 2:34Speaker 1: to all of us when we feel like quitting, What
- 2:39Speaker 1: happens to all of us when we have that turn
- 2:41Speaker 1: back moment, What happens to all of us when it
- 2:46Speaker 1: don't seem like it's gonna pan out. Because I want
- 2:50Speaker 1: you to understand something that everyone, every single living soul,
- 2:55Speaker 1: has those thoughts about something at some point in that life.
- 3:01Speaker 1: I mean, you know, look, I've oftentimes been discouraged about
- 3:05Speaker 1: things not happening as fast as I like them. All
- 3:10Speaker 1: things don't pan out the way I would like for
- 3:13Speaker 1: them to have panned out. I mean, there's so many
- 3:17Speaker 1: ways to get discouraged. But what my encouragement to you
- 3:23Speaker 1: is when discouragement comes is understand this. It is a
- 3:29Speaker 1: part of the growth process. It is a test. It
- 3:37Speaker 1: is a test of your faith. How bad you want it,
- 3:43Speaker 1: do you really believe? That's all faith is. It's simply,
- 3:47Speaker 1: and I've said this how many times. Faith is the
- 3:51Speaker 1: belief in things that you cannot see. So when discouragement comes,
- 3:55Speaker 1: setbacks comes, it is a test of your faith. At
- 4:00Speaker 1: least it's been that way for me. Now other people
- 4:02Speaker 1: can explain it another way. I'm not other people. I
- 4:05Speaker 1: can only give it to you the way it's come
- 4:08Speaker 1: to me and throughout my life, and man o man
- 4:10Speaker 1: o man discouragement sometimes it's tough to deal with because
- 4:17Speaker 1: it seems at times when you are discouraged that is
- 4:21Speaker 1: so absolute that this means the end, and if you
- 4:28Speaker 1: allow it to set in, it can be just that
- 4:32Speaker 1: the end of you. When Milly, Milly, it was a
- 4:36Speaker 1: test here, the one that I hate to hear. Well,
- 4:39Speaker 1: if it's God's will, excuse me. If it's God's will
- 4:45Speaker 1: that you fail. If it's God's will that you're not successful.
- 4:52Speaker 1: If it's God's will that you lay down and give up,
- 4:56Speaker 1: it's God's will that you allow yourself to amount to
- 5:00Speaker 1: not reach your potential. That's God's will. That's not the
- 5:06Speaker 1: God I know. That's not the God I served, that's
- 5:10Speaker 1: not the God I've read about. That's not the God
- 5:13Speaker 1: I believe in. I'm sorry, I just my mother always
- 5:17Speaker 1: taught me something that he didn't bring me this far
- 5:19Speaker 1: to leave me. I just don't believe that, not for
- 5:24Speaker 1: a second. Try to look at it. If you can
- 5:28Speaker 1: as a test of your faith, and you merely have
- 5:32Speaker 1: to pass the test. It could be for a day,
- 5:35Speaker 1: a half a day, a few hours, a week, a
- 5:38Speaker 1: few weeks, it don't matter. Don't nobody know how long
- 5:41Speaker 1: the test period is. Your job is to keep the
- 5:44Speaker 1: faith and keep moving. Keep the faith and keep moving,
- 5:49Speaker 1: keep working, keep believing, keep hope alive. That's your job.
- 5:55Speaker 1: If you do that, that's how you pass the test.
- 5:59Speaker 1: It could be over tomorrow, It could be over in
- 6:01Speaker 1: two weeks, It could be over in a month. You
- 6:03Speaker 1: don't know. But all you got to do is wake
- 6:06Speaker 1: up and keep the faith and fight the discouraging feelings.
- 6:09Speaker 1: And how do you do that? Steve? Now here we go.
- 6:12Speaker 1: This is the part I know about for show because
- 6:15Speaker 1: how many times I've had to fight off discouragement in
- 6:19Speaker 1: order to get to where God wanted me to be.
- 6:23Speaker 1: What do you do when you become discouraged? Well, when
- 6:28Speaker 1: I get discouraged about a task, I think about the outcome. Man,
- 6:33Speaker 1: what would it be like if I were to complete
- 6:35Speaker 1: the task? What would it be like? Man? What would
- 6:39Speaker 1: the outcome be for me? If I hung on in there,
- 6:42Speaker 1: if I didn't give up, if I if I imagine,
- 6:47Speaker 1: I imagine if I don't quit. I imagine if I
- 6:51Speaker 1: don't give up, what would it be like? Man? Suppose
- 6:56Speaker 1: everything I'm hoping for comes true. But if I don't
- 7:00Speaker 1: quit and give up, that might just be the case.
- 7:03Speaker 1: I start talking to myself like that, I think of
- 7:07Speaker 1: what the upside is? What's the upside to stay in
- 7:11Speaker 1: with it? You see, all this is the same thing.
- 7:14Speaker 1: I'm just giving you different ways to look at it.
- 7:16Speaker 1: I'm saying the exact same thing over and over. But
- 7:19Speaker 1: I'm just trying to find the switch that connects in
- 7:22Speaker 1: your mind where you can say, Okay, man, I'm gonna
- 7:25Speaker 1: hang in there. Because if you think of the outcome,
- 7:28Speaker 1: and the outcome is appealing to you, if you imagine
- 7:31Speaker 1: what it would be like if you don't give up
- 7:34Speaker 1: or you don't quit you if you think only of
- 7:37Speaker 1: what the upside is, to stay in with it. And
- 7:41Speaker 1: then I go, where can this lead to? If I
- 7:46Speaker 1: stay with it, man, and the outcome comes true? What
- 7:49Speaker 1: else could that lead me to? Because I mean, there's
- 7:53Speaker 1: always more to it. So where else could this lead
- 7:57Speaker 1: me to? What are the possible abilities? Man? What are
- 8:02Speaker 1: the limitless possibilities? What could God possibly have in store
- 8:07Speaker 1: for me? If I just hang in there, if I
- 8:09Speaker 1: pass this test of faith, if I just passed this test. Now,
- 8:14Speaker 1: it ain't gonna be the only one. But you gotta
- 8:16Speaker 1: get past this one. No, then you're gonna hear the
- 8:19Speaker 1: smooth plane. Then it's gonna be another one. It's gonna
- 8:22Speaker 1: be another one. Life ain't none but a series of tests, man.
- 8:26Speaker 1: But you gain experience and knowledge as you go through life,
- 8:29Speaker 1: and it helps you with the next test. You get
- 8:32Speaker 1: better at testing, you get better at testing. What's your
- 8:38Speaker 1: true destiny? Think about that when you think about giving up?
- 8:43Speaker 1: What is your true destiny? Don't you want to see
- 8:46Speaker 1: what that is? Don't you want to see what God
- 8:49Speaker 1: really got for you? What does God really have in
- 8:53Speaker 1: store for you? If you just pass the test, if
- 8:56Speaker 1: you just hang in that man, and don't let the
- 8:58Speaker 1: devil fool you, and don't let that other force make
- 9:01Speaker 1: you think that it's over, that your time has come,
- 9:04Speaker 1: that is not his will. God don't deal in negativity. Man.
- 9:09Speaker 1: See Bishop Omer taught me something. The way you know
- 9:12Speaker 1: that something has God's voice in it, It has no
- 9:15Speaker 1: sin in it. Quitting, giving up, laying down, falling out
- 9:20Speaker 1: for the account, letting go, losing your faith. That ain't
- 9:24Speaker 1: got nothing to do with God. Man, When you're thinking
- 9:28Speaker 1: about giving up, when you're discouraged, think of the outcome.
- 9:33Speaker 1: Imagine what it would be like if you don't quit,
- 9:35Speaker 1: if you don't give up. What's the upside to staying
- 9:38Speaker 1: with it? Where can this all lead to? What? What
- 9:42Speaker 1: can this get you too? If you do this and
- 9:45Speaker 1: you get to where you think you want to be,
- 9:47Speaker 1: Oh my God, what's after that? What are the limitless
- 9:52Speaker 1: and endless possibilities of holding on to your faith? What
- 9:57Speaker 1: could really be out there for me? Man? If I
- 9:59Speaker 1: just ask this test, you gotta talk yourself into hanging
- 10:03Speaker 1: in there. And sometimes it ain't nobody talking to you
- 10:06Speaker 1: about hanging in there but you. But that's good enough
- 10:11Speaker 1: because God has a blessing for you. God's got a
- 10:14Speaker 1: blessing with your name on it. God has packages bundled
- 10:19Speaker 1: up with your name on it. He got blessings just
- 10:23Speaker 1: in boxes with your name on it. Man, I want
- 10:26Speaker 1: all of mine shipped. I'll be on Faith Street waiting
- 10:30Speaker 1: there to receive. I just I'm just believing he's shipping stuff.
- 10:36Speaker 1: But if you keep moving from the address of Faith,
- 10:39Speaker 1: if you keep getting off Faith Street where you want
- 10:41Speaker 1: to do, packages to go. They got your name on
- 10:45Speaker 1: it and it's based on your faith. But if you
- 10:47Speaker 1: keep moving on Doubt Avenue and it ain't no Way
- 10:50Speaker 1: Boulevard and the pasage getting delivered only the Faith Street,
- 10:54Speaker 1: what you keep moving on Faith Street for? Come on, man,
- 10:56Speaker 1: you can't give up. You can't give up. You're listening.

- 49:10Speaker 1: of people before they that just to have a good
- 49:13Speaker 1: picture on fail that. Man, I ain't never heard of
- 49:17Speaker 1: like that, sir. Okay, sir, are you I mean we
- 49:20Speaker 1: have your address here? Are you? Are you available? No?
- 49:24Speaker 1: I'm not available. I'm not available at all to take
- 49:26Speaker 1: no picture for a funeral that I'm not even dead yet.
- 49:30Speaker 1: I don't. I don't get that that that sounds like
- 49:31Speaker 1: a much of more and ill. Where the hell gave
- 49:34Speaker 1: you my number? That's what I want to know, sir.
- 49:36Speaker 1: I'm not quite sure. But one thing we have to
- 49:39Speaker 1: do is we have to follow through with our job.
- 49:41Speaker 1: So what we're gonna have to do is we I
- 49:43Speaker 1: have to come out there and take a picture. So
- 49:47Speaker 1: I don't want to, you know, create a problem, but
- 49:49Speaker 1: I have to get a picture of you by next week.
- 49:51Speaker 1: Oh it's gonna be problem because you're not getting a
- 49:54Speaker 1: picture me for no funeral arrangement, mister Darwin. I have
- 49:57Speaker 1: to come by your house at least by Friday, at
- 50:00Speaker 1: around twelve million. I'll come by and get a picture

- 51:18Speaker 1: want all I want to do is say this man.
- 51:19Speaker 1: I just want to say, Glinda, the one that got
- 51:22Speaker 1: me to prank phone call you. This is nephew Tommy
- 51:25Speaker 1: Baby from the Steve Harvey Martin Show. Huh, I'll bit
- 51:33Speaker 1: up boy yet, I ain't never heard a business like
- 51:40Speaker 1: That's some FTC funeral. Well man, I said my New
- 51:45Speaker 1: year resolution. I was gonna cut back on drinking. But
- 51:48Speaker 1: you got me over here about the tip a bottle
- 51:50Speaker 1: right now? Are you crazy? Man? And come over here
- 51:55Speaker 1: to day before get a picture of Glinda fitt y'all
- 52:01Speaker 1: got me, baby, you got me. I ain't never heard
- 52:05Speaker 1: no company like that. You ain't putting me up to
- 52:08Speaker 1: it bad. You're gonna I'll tell you what you tune
- 52:10Speaker 1: in tomorrow morning. Man, you're gonna catch yourself on national radio. Dad.
- 52:15Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell everybody. Boy, they had me hot over here.
- 52:18Speaker 1: I'm gonna don't tell the pleading, but I'm gonna have
- 52:19Speaker 1: me a drink anywhere. I was looking for an excuse
- 52:22Speaker 1: to dray picking. Don't put on foul boy, y'all, y'atta
- 52:27Speaker 1: lost the half of mine. Y'all head with that. And here, buddy, man,
- 52:31Speaker 1: I gotta ask you something, man, darm and tell me
- 52:34Speaker 1: this here, man, what's the baddest and I mean the
- 52:36Speaker 1: baddest radio show in the land. Steve Harvey Morning Wick
- 52:41Speaker 1: Up Show, Buddy Funal picture. Huh do y'all have y'all
- 52:50Speaker 1: picture later? Well, that's right, I feel the tombstone. What's
- 52:54Speaker 1: it put you and dad? I don't know that. I
- 52:56Speaker 1: told y'all gonna shoot myself right in front of my family.
- 52:59Speaker 1: That's funny. Can I give you? Can I tell you something? Wow,
- 53:04Speaker 1: everybody is talking about Donald Trump's neck tie and how
- 53:08Speaker 1: long it is. I hadn't heard. Maybe maybe when you've
- 53:12Speaker 1: never heard people talk about how long his tie is,
- 53:15Speaker 1: like a couple of times. Don't recall. I don't recall.
- 53:18Speaker 1: I just don't recall. Are you kidding me? When he
- 53:20Speaker 1: was campaigning? Was okay, I can't help you if you
- 53:27Speaker 1: ain't heard, okay, so just tell us what you hear. No, no, no, no.
- 53:32Speaker 1: It's because it camouflages your stomach and the protrusion of
- 53:37Speaker 1: your gut. Because if you wear the tie long, you
- 53:40Speaker 1: can't see the belt buckle, which is indented, so it
- 53:44Speaker 1: gives you just a flatter appearance from the front. That's
- 53:48Speaker 1: why he wears his ties that long. If you wear
- 53:51Speaker 1: a shorter tie, it would show your stomach sticking out
- 53:54Speaker 1: because that end of the tie would point out and
- 53:57Speaker 1: would make you look fatter or less fitted. That's why
- 54:00Speaker 1: he wears the ties that long. It's a dressing trick.
- 54:04Speaker 1: Like my ties used to be made extra two inches,
- 54:06Speaker 1: extra two inch, you know. Yeah, he liked to put
- 54:08Speaker 1: the double winds in. Yeah yours, Tommy would be on
- 54:11Speaker 1: the floor. Shut up, I know how to tie that.
- 54:17Speaker 1: I stole one of his time one time got home
- 54:19Speaker 1: like damn, I can't wait a damn it too long?
- 54:23Speaker 1: Tommy put it on. I was stepping on the tide
- 54:26Speaker 1: where you had my tie at the gym? Remember that
- 54:28Speaker 1: time he was skipping rope with like a box strain.
- 54:37Speaker 1: Show is pretty rope? That his uncle's tip. What do
- 54:46Speaker 1: you have to say for yourself? Tommy? It ain't stop? Sure,
- 54:49Speaker 1: Donna laugh with him, laugh with him. That was funny
- 54:52Speaker 1: pretty rope because I got the visuals. You know you
- 54:58Speaker 1: see me jump roping with the towe. Yes, yes, pretty
- 55:02Speaker 1: silk one. All right? Coming up next is the Secret
- 55:06Speaker 1: Service going broke. If you guys heard this story, oh
- 55:09Speaker 1: my goodness. Plus we have another strawberry letter on deck.
- 55:12Speaker 1: All after this we'll be back. You're listening to the
- 55:16Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming up next today Strawberry letter.
- 55:20Speaker 1: You do not want to miss it. But first, now,
- 55:22Speaker 1: this is according to the Washington Post. This has been
- 55:25Speaker 1: all over the news. The Secret Service is running out
- 55:29Speaker 1: of money. What protecting the first protecting the first family
- 55:35Speaker 1: is expensive? Why? Why aren't running out of money? And
- 55:37Speaker 1: they got to fly to New York down to mulog Older,
- 55:40Speaker 1: They got to fly to Jersey. Come all the days,
- 55:44Speaker 1: eighteen holes on the golf coach? How many people that
- 55:46Speaker 1: take to watch his ass for eighteen holes of golf?
- 55:50Speaker 1: You gotta be in the trees, bushers, helicrapters. You're gonna
- 55:55Speaker 1: from DC to Murlogo down. He's playing too much, damn go.
- 56:00Speaker 1: Yeah that he criticized President Obama for doing. That's why
- 56:03Speaker 1: they running out of money. That's where you gotta watch
- 56:06Speaker 1: your wife and wife don't stay in the day. The
- 56:08Speaker 1: White House got her down, the Trump Cower, They got
- 56:13Speaker 1: all the people down. Now money man, Yes, then they
- 56:17Speaker 1: got to get that little boy to that damn school.
- 56:20Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, And I like, man man, y'all need to
- 56:23Speaker 1: leave bend alone time about what he wore to the
- 56:24Speaker 1: eclipse was inappropriate. What the heilly poster? Well, yeah, he's
- 56:27Speaker 1: a kid. Looking at him. Look at the damn son.
- 56:30Speaker 1: Kids are off and the woman alone. Look, she ain't
- 56:36Speaker 1: giving those speeches. That's hers. She gil speeches. That's hers.
- 56:43Speaker 1: Now quick talking about the woman. But you're exactly right, Steve.
- 56:47Speaker 1: Protecting the first family is very expensive. Donald Trump wife
- 56:54Speaker 1: is saying everything Michelle said. Yeah, yeah, so that's man
- 57:00Speaker 1: all spreeches you heard before. We got a bigger problem
- 57:03Speaker 1: her husband running the country. Don't worry about her damn speech. Yes,
- 57:07Speaker 1: she's said what Michelle saying, I'm giving speeches that you
- 57:10Speaker 1: don't write. No, but she don't know it though, she
- 57:13Speaker 1: don't know. She just reading what the She wasn't listening
- 57:18Speaker 1: to Michelle. He'll take this, read mo King. I have
- 57:25Speaker 1: my what is bundy? Little black boys with joined hands,
- 57:30Speaker 1: and I've been to the mountaintop anyway once a punt
- 57:42Speaker 1: a midnight as I punted, weak and weary, puzzled by
- 57:49Speaker 1: a single query, which amongst the Greeks, to choose is
- 57:54Speaker 1: you doing? I don't know? Answer out of the night?
- 58:13Speaker 1: What is you? Ladies and gentlemen, show your love and
- 58:27Speaker 1: at the end of the day, always remember that the surveys.
- 58:32Speaker 1: What did it again? Is she doing? Will it turner?
- 58:40Speaker 1: Not do? Will you know I feel about willing? See
- 58:47Speaker 1: no evaluation, see no event the bulletin board. Yeah, but
- 58:55Speaker 1: protecting the First family is very expensive, so much so
- 58:58Speaker 1: that the Secret Service said it only has the budget
- 59:00Speaker 1: to watch over Donald Trump and its family through the
- 59:03Speaker 1: end of September. What blown through the budget? Yes, oh
- 59:08Speaker 1: tell you right now, we will start quentin. Okay, don't
- 59:12Speaker 1: get paid. Come on, forty two people under a total
- 59:16Speaker 1: that have to be protected. That number includes eighteen members
- 59:20Speaker 1: from the family, eleven more than the number of people
- 59:22Speaker 1: under protection during the Obama administration. All right, they just
- 59:27Speaker 1: over over the count. All right, nephew, let's move on
- 59:31Speaker 1: to the letter. Here we go. Buggle up, hold on tight,
- 59:34Speaker 1: We got it for you. This is the straw every letter.
- 59:36Speaker 1: Here we go. Subject frustrated wife headed to the psychologist.
- 59:41Speaker 1: Hey Steve, simple but complicated, married three years, husband twenty six,
- 59:45Speaker 1: I'm thirty one. We both work and see each other
- 59:47Speaker 1: in passing. He hangs out with friends at times, and
- 59:50Speaker 1: I'm pretty much a loaner. He is high school girl
- 59:53Speaker 1: friends that he talks to periodically through email. Now old
- 59:57Speaker 1: friend is having a birthday party, but he doesn't want
- 59:59Speaker 1: me to go, said his friends are his friends and
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: that he would feel awkward just inviting me since it's
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: probably going to be only his friends from high school there,
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: as if they don't have any significant other to join
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: them at the party, says I can come along to
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: the next party after he is comfortable with being around
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: his friends. Again. Mind you, these are high school friends,
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: so he hasn't seen them and lord knows how many years,
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: and he wants to claim only high school people who
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: all went to the same school will be there. How
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: does that sound to you? Another incident he started his job,
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: they had a little afterwork graduation event, whereas he said,
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: they played cards, but playing cards all night till five
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: am and not calling home or even say honey, meet
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: me at work so you can go with me. See
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: what kind of messes that I feel like he doesn't
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: want me to be around when he hangs out with
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: his friends. Mind you, I might not be in the
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: mood to go, but he doesn't even give me the
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: opportunity to say no, you go ahead without me. This
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: makes me feel insecure, especially considering we don't spend much
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: time together. At all. When he comes home at night,
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: I'm usually waiting up for him so we can have
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: a general conversation. But he wants to play video games
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: till five in the morning, so he doesn't even come
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: to bed at night. Then we have Then we have
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: sometimes that he will come in the room so I
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: don't complain and stay there till I fall asleep, or
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: until he thinks I've fallen asleep, and then off to
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: that video game. But you let someone else want his
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: time it's given. I feel so alone and so I needed.
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: It hurts. I'm hurting. I feel like committing myself to
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: some hospital because I need some of his time that
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: he isn't giving. I've debated with myself, asking am I
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: too needy or imagining things? But I just can't put
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: my finger on it. He used to be so much
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: more attentive and caring about caring, but now he complains
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: and tells his female friends how tired he is of
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: my arguing. We have no communication. If we do not talk,
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: it turns into an argument. If we do talk, it
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: turns into an argument. Another thing is I can't depend
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: on him to help with things around the house. He
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: always forgets or wants time for himself, so I'm basically
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: doing everything myself, you know that, saying I can do
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: bad by myself. I even question what I need him
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: around for. Since he doesn't help around the house and
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: doesn't spend time with me, why are we together? I
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: asked him that one day. He said, marriages about stature
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: and not about emotions and feeling. So that makes me think, oh,
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: you want to be with me because I got some
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: money and take care of my business. I guess Tina's right.
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: What's love got to do with it? I know he's
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: not cheating. Can't tell you how I know, but we
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: women have our ways. But I know I'm hoping he
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: grows out of this soon or I'll need medication just
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: to calm my nerves. He has a great personality, great
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: with our boys, great financially, but likes the drive to
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: take care of home and business first. You know what,
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: this letter is really long. We got to take a
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: break and come back. Yeah, we gotta take a break. Yeah,
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: well enough, I think so we'll be back. You're listening
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, come on, Steve with
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: your response to part two of today's Strawberry Letter. Let's go.
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: I think this is a record. I think this is
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: the longest letter we've ever had, and I really saw
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: him this out for Yeah, she's she's giving us everything.
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: Where did I stop? I guess Tina's right? What's love
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: got to do with it? I know he's not cheating.
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: Can't tell you how I know, but we women have
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: our ways. But I know I'm hoping he grows out
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: of this soon or I'll need medication just to call
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: my nerves. He is a great personality, great with our boys,
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: great financially, but lacks the drive to take care of
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: home and business first. I think he is tired and
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: or bored with me, no matter how high my stilettos are.
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: I am financially stronger, a little insecure from previous marriage,
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: and how he's acting doesn't help me feel needed or
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: loved as I should. He used to be there Now
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: I feel he just wants to do what he wants
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: when he wants. I am a roommate, I'm I'm not
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: a roommate. I'm a wife. I've told him that all show.
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: I told him if he wanted to live a single
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: life and not have any responsibility, then that's what he
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: should do, but he won't leave. He says he's not
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: going anywhere. In the meantime, I'm supposed to do. I'm
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: supposed to just accept that. Steve, Steve a brother, don't
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: know that when you start not being at home, assistant
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: gets lonely and then all hell really breaks loose. I
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: maybe thirty one, but I look twenty two, and an
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: opportunity to go out on a date is given every
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: time I walk out my front door, willing to hang
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: in there and go to Long Haul. But I'm lonely,
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: and I miss my husband, my friend. It's a lot.
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: I'm just going you want me to do a yeah,
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: go ahead, lady. This letter it has a lot of
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: obvious is in it. I don't know if that's a word,
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: but it's just a lot of obvious statements that you're
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: making in this letter. But you're not hearing your obvious statements.
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: I don't have time to read this letter again, but
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: let's just say he has all high school girlfriends right now,
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: one of the old friends. Now, one of his old
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: friends are having a birthday party, but he don't want
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: you to go. And his friends are his friends, and
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: that he would He said that his friends are his friends,
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: and he would then feel awkward inviting you. You are
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: his wife. Now keep in mind since it's probably going
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: to be only his friends from high school and they
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: don't have any significant others to join them at the party. Well,
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: I'm assuming that this party has women in it, That's
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: what I'm assuming. But the dudes ain't got no significant others,
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: so they just hook it up with some old girls
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: from high school. You just said that he talks to
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: Higgs to his girlfriends from high school. Now here goes
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: your other problem. You thirty one, he twenty six. You
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: ain't you not already had your ten year of reunion.
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: He ain't had he Yeah, his ten year reunion ain't
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: do for another two years. They already hooking up. You
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: didn't have. Yours is gone. You've been married kids from
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: a previous marriage. He got kids. Now now he said
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: you can come along to the next party after he's
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: comfortable being around his friends again. Excuse me, what friend
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: do you have to rework up getting recomfortable around you know,
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: he'll help me here if day my friends, why I
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: gotta get reacquainted with them, especially men. Man, we don't
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: see each other for months. We don't call each other man,
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: what was up? Dog? He gotta get recomfortable being around him. Lady,
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: this whole letter is just you are buying into some
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: bullcrap and you already know it's bullcrap. He says, you
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: ain't seen in them in Lord. Now you don't know
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: how many years he wants to claim. Only high school
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: people who all went to the same school will be that.
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: Then you ask me, how does that sound to you? Okay,
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: let me ask you something high sound to you? Right?
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: It sounds crazy to you, Tony. You got all this education,
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: you smart all this. He'll use your mind. Okay. Then
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: he says, then you said he was out one time,
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: playing calls all night to five am without calling home.
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: Say honey, we're work. You can go on without me.
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: See what kind of messages that I don't know? You
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: tell me? Then you says, he used to be so
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: much more attentive than can, but now he complains and
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: tells his female friends how he's tired of my argan.
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: Do you know why men tell their female friends about
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: they tired and you argon? So? It's that they can
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: then dig into their nurturing, innately nurturing side that God
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: has given all women and say I won't argue with you,
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: and she feels side for you and wants to feel
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: a void in your life because you're such a good
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: guy and you don't deserve all this. That's why he
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: telling his girlfriend, all right, thank you, Steve, as always
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: try to try to be no motive. Please don't try that,
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: but we have to go anyway. Email us or instagram
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: us your thoughts on today's Strawberry Letter at my girl surely,
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: and don't forget this week's after show Strawberry Letter Live
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: on Facebook. It is tomorrow at one thirty pm. Please
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: join me. We'll talk about the Strawberry Letter and whatever
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: you want to talk about. We'll have a pick of
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: the week, we'll talk about trending topics, all of that.
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: So make sure you join me again. It's tomorrow, Thursday
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: at one thirty pm. Okay, thank you. Now moving on,
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: he let me say this, I'm proud of you for
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: doing that. It really am well. Thank you. That's a
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: big move. It's important to generate other opportunities and also
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: in a team, people help people, but also provide another outlet.
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: And I think that covers a lot of ground. I
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: was talking to the guy yesterday, he said, And I
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: told him. I said, well, you have to be at
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: family feud before I start, and uh, you know, going
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: too the makeup chair and all that. Well, I'm in
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: the makeup chair and he shows up, so I say,
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: my man, I don't have time right now. You know
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: I have some time on my lunch break. Man, I
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: drove all the way down here, man, and I gotta
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: wait till you go to lunch. Now, how many? How many?
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: I said, that's two shows? I said, my man, I
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: asked you to be here before I got into makeup chair.
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: I hit some traffic, okay, cool in LA. Yes, yeah, okay,
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: got that. Believe that to be true. But what that
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: gotta do? What you got to be here before I
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: get the map? You hit that same traffic. I hit
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: that same traffic. That's why I left it. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: because who out here ain't hitting traffic LA traffic. So
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: then when I get on stage, I'm hungry. So I'm
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: eating lunch. He knocks on the door. He said, man,
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: can we get this handle out? I said, right after
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: eat lunch. He said, no, you told me to be
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: here at your lunch break. I said, well, you own it.
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: I got an eye, a hair, and somewhere in this
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: lunch break you're gonna fit in it. But right now
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: I'm eating it. And what he bought me was not
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: right after all of that late, so I tell a gentleman,
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: I said, sir, I'm not paying for it. Oh you
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: have to pay for it's getting chance now. Yeah, but
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: we the only want it in my dressing room though.
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: So what he don't know is I'm fully capable of
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: fighting your ass with no witnesses. But why though, because
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: I like this, no witnesses. We can just do this
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: nice and clean. Because but you and here, Timmer, you
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: can be made to pay. Make me reaching that head better?
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: Yet take it. You're listening, Steve. A large group of
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: your beloved Cleveland brown players took a knee during Monday
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: nights preseason game against the Giants. It gets better bet.
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: Eleven players from the Cleveland Browns, including running back Duke
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: Johnson and tight end players Seth DeValve Um. DeValve is
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: the first white NFL player to take a knee during
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: an anthem. During the anthem in protests, Wow, white knees down,
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: all right, it's changed, white knees. Yeah, I'm right, wheest.
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: Cleveland head coach Hugh Jackson had voiced his opinion against
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: players taking a stand during the anthem, but changed his
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: course last week and said players had the right to
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: express their feelings if if he was informed in advance. Okay,
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: so one of the players says, there's a lot of
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: rachel and social injustices in the world that are going
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: on right now. We just decided to take a knee
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: and pray for the people who have been afflicted, affected,
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: and just pray for the world in general. You can't
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: get now, suspend them now, now watch this, Hitler. If
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: all the players do this, thank god. Cleveland is what
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: Cleveland has always been a place where men is men
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: and that's what the feeling is Cleveland. Man, look at
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: you hashtag White Knees Matter, and I'm telling you right now,
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: and it's a good thing because this Charlotteville thing has
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: gotten legs because of a lot of non black protesters
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: who have come into the side of injustice. That's that's
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: how you fix this thing. It has to be a
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: unified effort to fix this thing. You can't fix it
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: a loan. You cannot fix it a loan. People understand
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: the plight of the Jewish community. They feel they understand
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: what happened to this people. Man, So people have feelings
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: for that. They're gonna, wow, did that to them? You
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: really did that to these people. So now when they
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: pushed back, how you got a problem with that? This
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: is what they did to them. The same thing with
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: black people. They really endure slavery, They really endued the biggotry,
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: They really endure the lynchings. They really have to deal
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: with the skinhead and the class. They really got to
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: deal with all this biggotry. Now when they pushed back,
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: they just taking a knee. When you got a problem
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: with that, stand up, keep taking some more. Nah, Well,
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: where we're tied. And now these ball players and not
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: just us, no on your beloved the greatest spectator sport
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: in the world in Fa they didn't took knees and
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: a white knee got out. That's gonna start something. You
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: watch now, watch now, man, they have to start. They're
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: gonna start paying attention. But you let you let one
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: white quarterback, you let an Eli Manning, boy, you let
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: you let one of them white quarterback, Aaron Rodgers taking me,
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: you let being Rousselingburger get on his knee. Boy, if
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: you let Aaron Rodgers get in profit, you let one
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: white quarterback Tom Brady and the and these are men
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: who are so socially conscious. Yeah. And I'm not saying
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: if they don't take a knee, but they ain't, no good,
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: That's not what I'm saying. They may not choose that
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: as the way the form of protest, and they don't
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: have to or to shed light. And I'm not saying
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: that they should, there's no problem. I'm just saying if
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: they did, oh my goodness, Oh my goodness, Yeah, it'll
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: mean something, that's for sure. I have sound of the
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: white guy saying why he did it? Do you want please? Yes? Yeah?
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: Do you need to hear this. I love this country.
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: I love our national anthem. I'm very grateful to the
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: men and women who have given their lives and give
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: a lot every day to protect this country and to
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: serve this country. And I want to honor them as
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: much as I can. The United States is the greatest
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: country in the world, and it is because it provides
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: opportunities to get citizens that no other country does. The
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: issue is that it doesn't provide equal opportunity to everybody,
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: and I myself will be raising children that don't look
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: like me, and I want to do my part as
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: well to do everything I can to raise them in
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: a better environment than we have right now. Wow, Now
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: that right there is well said. And I think that
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: the way they're doing it, that they're saying ahead of time,
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: this is what we're doing, this is the reason we're
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: doing and we're praying for those who have suffered injustice
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: all around the world. That's why the coach decided that
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: right there, you can't get mad at them. Yeah, because
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: the Browns safety Gabriel Peppers, he said it. He says,
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: it's a lot of social and racial injustice is going
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: on in the world right now. And all they were
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: saying was that they were just praying for everyone. And
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: you know how I know he said that because just
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: cross went across the screen on the UNI I read
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: the quote. But can we get Kaepernick a job though,
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: that's coming job that's coming there. Yeah, I don't think
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: it'll be too much longer. No, because we come on Cleveland.
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: We need to pray that we get there. That need
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: to be in the can we have Kaepernick praying for
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: everybody around the world, and also for quarterback. Yeah, I
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: don't know what's worth kneeling and just sitting on the
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: bench eating the damn banana. Now that maybe he maybe
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: he didn't hear that some I love I Love Mode.
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: I don't know if he hear a song cramping up,
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: don't because maybe he was cramping and needed a banana.
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: You gotta go with that like that. Can't say something
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: about the president disapproval. And now sixty four percent of
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: the Republicans approve of trunks Charlottesville responses, which eighty four
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: percent of Democrats disapproved. Look, man, why can we keep
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: making racism or racist type comments or bipartisan issue. Everybody
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: should be appalled at racism in any form. Now. Paul
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: Ryan even said he messed up with the comments that
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: he made. Okay, let's stay that. Let's just say, let's
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: all agree he messed up. Stop trying to fix it.
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: He said it. You can't fix it, all right. Coming
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: up next one of my favorite segments, Tommy and Junior.
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: Here you have to be the judge, Steve right or wrong?
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: Coming up next? Oh you're listening, all right, Here we go, Steve.
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: I'm ready introduce your nephew and junior ladies and gentlemen.
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: It's time for the right or Wrong segment where these
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: two come to me as the judge to make a
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: decision on who's right or wrong. So far, leading by
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: a landslide is Julie. It has been overwhelming. In the landslide,
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: Tommy has had a couple of valid points. Uh, here's
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: one that was not involved in right or Wrong. But
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: the question was posed, what would you do if you
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: want the lottery? Tommy's response was, I got to find
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: a way to leave my family with your brother. I
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: don't tell you why, funny, terrible, because you're stupid. I
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: know that he gonna be doing something and he's gonna
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: be explain it up. So let's just break up now. Hurt,
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: at least you just get over the fact that I left.
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: You ain't got to see this in your face, that
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: phone and left matter taxes he gonna do to see
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: you're right about leave me while you still love me.
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: You eight, that's why you're not gonna win. When you
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: tell this boy if fed ex and ups marriage together,
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: it'll be com fed up telling him. Don't he sit
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: down here, acts like he don't see what I see
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: and ups marriage together. That's fat up stupid. Go with
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: you when you're right. I kind of like that right
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: there that I couldn't tell him that night. I don't understand,
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: but I think, yeah, it makes sense. Time it would
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: be fed up. Okay, this the one yes, this when
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: the food hung up on my head to calling back,
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: I said, Junior, I said, listen, crematoriums. You know what
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: people get cream madd at crematorium, It's called crematorious. They
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: should give a discount on burnt victims. You know what
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: I'm saying. If you already halfway burn, you know what
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: I'm saying. You've been here, passed away, you see, I'm walking.
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: It's a discount. You hot today, boy, you're right again.
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: If you are third degree birds, you got to get
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: a discount. I'm just saying, Oh, man, come on two
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: for two to let me keep trying. Let me keep trying.
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: I called him back. I say, I said, you hanging
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: up on me again. You're doing something to do that.
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: I can child this with him. You ain't gonna be
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: like this, I said, listen, I say, when side makers
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: people that make sense. When side makers go on strike,
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: ain't nothing on the side. You following me? Yeah, I
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: follow with you. Now they just picking him, but I
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: ain't because they own straight right right, makes sense. I
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: don't really care for you. I care you get right
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: a wrong pick. You're dumb, man. You just some people
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: walking around the stick. Now that's dumb. Right now. Yeah,
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: we will show you. We don't write now. I love man.
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: Let's stop this right now, this one right here? You
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: hit the two good ones fitted marriages again? You ps?
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: Would they not be called fitted? She's not a creamatory
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: with the person to discount if they're coming in and
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: dying from burning my best ever, you can't charge me
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: for three quarter burn. Come on, man, y'all ain't got
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: that but work. I'm not going with that one. I
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: loved it. That was too much. Come on, now, you
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: gonna take much to get to the Mandins. We almost there, boy,
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: I tell you, you work, you earn every penny of
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: your salary. Okay, you do this the laugh when you
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: hung up? That should have been the last one. On
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: come on, come on, I see Julie because I was
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: telling him. You know, I like to go to New
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: alls and you know, all the stuff on the street
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: that just amazes me. I say, if you shoot a man,
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: you're supposed to use a silence. You can't shoot him
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: with I like that because I never liked mine juggling
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: on stage as a comedian one more time. Now, if
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: you shoot a mine, Yeah, you've got to use a silence.
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: Got you at least respect it? You gotta respect it.
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: It's what he wanted. It's how he would want to go. No,
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: you have, that's how he would want. He'll respect you more.
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: I think he'll accept it better. I'm just saying. And
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: when you shoot him here, dude, like this, y'all didn't
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: need a radio. Hey four or four? Now? Four dog,
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: I'm talking to you, man. Are you done? Are you quiet? Really?
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: My all time? Come on say it Tommy the second?
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: One second? Okay, a creamer story. Give you a discount
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: if the victim is already burnt. He got burnt down
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: out of car CRD. We needed to get all right,
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: we gotta go. We'll be back. We'll be back right
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to the show. Floyd Mayweather is
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: getting ready for his big fight this Saturday, in which
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: you will be attendance. Uh in attending Steve. You will
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: be attending that fight against Connor McGregor's gonna be in Vegas.
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: I know Michael Page, who's mixed martial artist as well,
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: is trying to make the switch to boxing, and he
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: said that he found the transition very challenging. He said,
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: because I punch anyway. I have a good technique, but
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: we don't have as much specific work on our arm
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: and our shoulders. That's what he said. As a mixed
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: martial artist trying to become a boxer, he said, the
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: struggle is the endurance, the muscular endurance, and being able
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: to do it for such a long period of time. Okay,
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: so take note Connor McGregor and then former heavyweight boxing
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: champ Lennox Lewis said, I don't really take this as
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: a serious fight. He told the BBC in a recent
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: interview that no other boxers from forty nine fights have
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: figured out how to beat Mayweather. Boy. That's what he's saying.
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: He says, Now a UFC fighter that doesn't even have
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: a boxing career is trying to beat him at boxing.
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: I think it's a farce to a certain degree, That's
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: what Lennox Lewis said. Well, there you go, it's not
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: a farce. This kid this guy is really really thinking
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: he can whoot Maywe Now he gonna gona he gonna
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: get his whole a handed tour whole. Hey, he donna
- 1:27:04Speaker 1: get a whole air handed to it. I'm talking about
- 1:27:10Speaker 1: what's gonna happen, get a whole I'm talking about, man,
- 1:27:17Speaker 1: But it's gonna be. It's gonna be. Seriously, man, if
- 1:27:20Speaker 1: Mayweather do what he's supposed to do, if he didn't
- 1:27:23Speaker 1: take just enough serious, just enough for that to just
- 1:27:26Speaker 1: shut his mouth with the negativity, he's been secured because
- 1:27:29Speaker 1: the dude, the dude really think he cold. He's an
- 1:27:31Speaker 1: arrogant dude, man, I mean, he really thinks he's cold.
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: But he has three defeats. Oh, he's just never been
- 1:27:39Speaker 1: knocked down or knocked out, but he's been submitted. You know,
- 1:27:43Speaker 1: he lost, he can lose. I was wondering, even in
- 1:27:47Speaker 1: his own sport to box though. It's a science to boxing, yes,
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: and there's nobody better add it than Maywhether living right now,
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: this dude, this little stuff, when he just show you
- 1:28:00Speaker 1: off of his body. See you're only punching when you
- 1:28:02Speaker 1: fight Mayweather, and he give you that shoulder, you really
- 1:28:05Speaker 1: ain't got nothing hit. But top of his head. I'm
- 1:28:10Speaker 1: telling you, man, this dude is a superior technician. I
- 1:28:15Speaker 1: just want him man to whip this boy for talking.
- 1:28:19Speaker 1: That's what I want him to do. Same thing, but
- 1:28:23Speaker 1: I want I wanted to go six rounds. That's what
- 1:28:26Speaker 1: you want see. First of all, this guy has no
- 1:28:29Speaker 1: idea what it's like to have to guard against punches, faint,
- 1:28:34Speaker 1: move out the way, and get hit for twelve rounds.
- 1:28:38Speaker 1: Three minutes per round, that's what he's talking about. The endurance,
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: you know, the most he's ever fault, it's twenty five minutes.
- 1:28:47Speaker 1: That's the most. Now grappling its strenuous, but at one
- 1:28:52Speaker 1: point in time you just on the ground hugging. Yeah,
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: that ain't happening anything, and you gotta stand up the
- 1:28:58Speaker 1: entire time. It's fight gonna be like time I thought
- 1:29:01Speaker 1: I could whoop my father. Man, Please, what me and
- 1:29:06Speaker 1: my daddy had to fight? Yeah, that we're gonna look
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: like when I thought I could win. Boy, my daddy
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: gave me the well you know I'm trying to You know,
- 1:29:14Speaker 1: I got caught up. You're smelling yourself. YEA wooed me
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: so I didn't get one in. I fought, didn't talk
- 1:29:27Speaker 1: to me? Did he brad to his friends? By how
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: he whoop me? There? You go right there, get we
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: partner's names. We'll be back. You're listening, all right? Uh?
- 1:29:43Speaker 1: Bruno Mars and Chance the Rapper are going to do
- 1:29:46Speaker 1: a collaboration collabo. They're going to collab and you can
- 1:29:51Speaker 1: thank Twitter for the next best thing to happen in music,

- 1:30:10Speaker 1: who he'd like to collaborate with, Bruno said at Chance

- 1:35:36Speaker 1: I don't know? By a house? Of course? How much
- 1:35:39Speaker 1: would you spend on the house you got for eleven?

- 1:35:58Speaker 1: twenty five million, get your right. Now, I'll tell you
- 1:36:00Speaker 1: where you can't go with that twenty five million. But
- 1:36:02Speaker 1: you can go a whole lot of other places and
- 1:36:04Speaker 1: get way of Just don't worry about that. Just don't
- 1:36:06Speaker 1: go up there with your twenty five million. That'll about
- 1:36:09Speaker 1: you a lot. What else we do? I have enough
- 1:36:11Speaker 1: for a private jet? Hell? Yeah, okay, I'll buy a
- 1:36:13Speaker 1: private jet? What kind of what size? Yet? Now? Whole time? Um,
- 1:36:18Speaker 1: the smallest is the G four? I think I learned
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: from you. Hell no, it ain't just what Well, okay,
- 1:36:26Speaker 1: I don't want the smallest Conda makes a new jet. Yeah,
- 1:36:30Speaker 1: I don't want the smallest one. I want like a
- 1:36:32Speaker 1: mid to size one size for you, I would say,
- 1:36:36Speaker 1: like if you got four, a Hawker would be nice. Okay,
- 1:36:40Speaker 1: Hawker would be nice. It's seats eight, okay, okay a Hawker.
- 1:36:45Speaker 1: If you don't want to get it new, you want
- 1:36:47Speaker 1: to buy you But I could buy new with four
- 1:36:50Speaker 1: eleven could not. Yeah, yeah, you could buy it new.
- 1:36:52Speaker 1: But you're gonna be out about twenty that's okay, twenty meal.
- 1:36:57Speaker 1: That's all right. I got four. Yeah, the main glad
- 1:37:01Speaker 1: I got my head a plane that's the size of
- 1:37:05Speaker 1: a Southwest regular plane seven thirty seven. Yeah. That that
- 1:37:09Speaker 1: you can put rooms in like Trump. That's what. Yeah. Yeah,
- 1:37:12Speaker 1: you're gonna pay about that must be around your hand. United,
- 1:37:20Speaker 1: but you get a cold plane for ten minutes. All
- 1:37:22Speaker 1: their plane to be old United their Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:37:27Speaker 1: they got a new fleet. Well they got a new
- 1:37:30Speaker 1: fleet where that old thing. Yeah, I was just in
- 1:37:35Speaker 1: Chicago last week. That plane was when that was the
- 1:37:38Speaker 1: one the right brothers from. Yeah, well that's the plane
- 1:37:42Speaker 1: they had the tab when they pulled a little Chinese dude,
- 1:37:46Speaker 1: ye and he tore all the damn seats out. Yeah
- 1:37:50Speaker 1: that plane right there, the doctor man yeah yeah, then
- 1:37:56Speaker 1: ran back on the plane, hid behind the curtain. See
- 1:37:58Speaker 1: you back head. I think nobody gonna tell on you. Hey, dude,
- 1:38:02Speaker 1: you can't gonna have behind this curtain busy ain't no
- 1:38:04Speaker 1: little boy. And if you come again, whip your heads
- 1:38:09Speaker 1: any movies. Nothing. So four hundred eleven millions just the
- 1:38:13Speaker 1: way I do it. I take three hundred millions right
- 1:38:18Speaker 1: off the top and put it into the right deals,
- 1:38:23Speaker 1: business deals from me. Yeah, give it to a company.
- 1:38:26Speaker 1: I would sell probably three portions of it off to
- 1:38:29Speaker 1: three different companies. Put it in there so it becomes
- 1:38:33Speaker 1: cash to the company. And when I take it out
- 1:38:35Speaker 1: as dividends, I get that the tax reductive. Well, I
- 1:38:39Speaker 1: don't have to pay taxes on it as it make money.
- 1:38:42Speaker 1: And I'm gonna live on the interest. So let's just
- 1:38:44Speaker 1: say you get somewhere and you can get three hundred million,
- 1:38:47Speaker 1: you can get ten percent. Three hundred million at ten percent,
- 1:38:50Speaker 1: it's three thirty million dollars a year. Interest can Well
- 1:38:54Speaker 1: that's what I'm living on, and lead that over that.
- 1:38:57Speaker 1: It's from me and Marge. You're gonna just bail out
- 1:38:59Speaker 1: one day, the three hundred million when we just bail out.
- 1:39:02Speaker 1: We're gonna get the temper cent interest, and we're gonna
- 1:39:04Speaker 1: live on the thirty million until I figure out where
- 1:39:06Speaker 1: we're gonna go. Where y'all ain't gonna find, so we
- 1:39:09Speaker 1: gonna So you tell my faking you're death too. No,
- 1:39:12Speaker 1: I'm not. I'm lying. I'm not my ass out of
- 1:39:15Speaker 1: here with this family. Yeah, I'm happy with him when
- 1:39:18Speaker 1: he leaves, but I don't want the kids, you know,
- 1:39:20Speaker 1: come and see me all the time and all that
- 1:39:22Speaker 1: feel on how you want to feel so different, feel
- 1:39:27Speaker 1: the kind of way though. Then I'm gonna take that
- 1:39:30Speaker 1: hundred eleven millions and Steve Harvey f in the show,
- 1:39:35Speaker 1: y'all so you can and watch the show. Well, you
