- 2:08Speaker 1: one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show man.
- 2:13Speaker 1: Oh man, oh man? How many times I got to
- 2:16Speaker 1: say that before I get tired of it. I think
- 2:20Speaker 1: it's gonna be a minute, folks. I gotta be real
- 2:22Speaker 1: with you, because, boy, that Steve Harvey got a radio
- 2:25Speaker 1: show man. Clear indication of how God can do some unexpected,
- 2:33Speaker 1: wonderful things for you, How he leads your life in
- 2:37Speaker 1: directions that you never ever saw coming. You know. I
- 2:39Speaker 1: was talking with somebody the other day and they were
- 2:42Speaker 1: talking about how man, they were young, and they were
- 2:45Speaker 1: doing things, and they never knew that the things that
- 2:48Speaker 1: they were doing as a youngster would come and helped
- 2:53Speaker 1: form who they were today as an adult. This guy's
- 2:57Speaker 1: fifty years old, and uh, you know the same thing
- 3:00Speaker 1: for you. If you look back on your life and
- 3:03Speaker 1: all of the things that you've done, it helps shape
- 3:06Speaker 1: you into who you are now. This is provided now
- 3:11Speaker 1: that you take the positive approach. Now, when I say
- 3:14Speaker 1: look back at your life and see what you've done,
- 3:17Speaker 1: that doesn't mean dwell on the misfortunate moments. Because the
- 3:20Speaker 1: misfortunate moments were necessary. I know it. It's hard to
- 3:24Speaker 1: see that when it's happening to you, but the unfortunate
- 3:28Speaker 1: moments are necessary. You know, what really makes you appreciate
- 3:32Speaker 1: summer vacation is winter work. What really makes you appreciate
- 3:37Speaker 1: a walk on the beach, it's when it's cold, it
- 3:40Speaker 1: is raining outside. What really makes you appreciate when you're up,
- 3:46Speaker 1: it's because you've been down. See if you are up
- 3:49Speaker 1: all the time. Just the nature of us as human beings,
- 3:53Speaker 1: we would lose our appreciation for because it becomes case surah,
- 3:58Speaker 1: whatever it is, well, it is what it is, said,
- 4:00Speaker 1: I'm just what what what you take it for? Granted,
- 4:03Speaker 1: it becomes expected, but what happens in life says it
- 4:06Speaker 1: has so many twisting turns, and then you learn how
- 4:10Speaker 1: to deal with those twisting turns, which makes you now
- 4:12Speaker 1: a more experienced person. And then when the sunny days come, man,
- 4:16Speaker 1: you go wild. It's really nice outside. You really want
- 4:19Speaker 1: to appreciate how warm weather just stay in a bunch
- 4:22Speaker 1: of cold weather all the time. I'm you know what
- 4:24Speaker 1: I'm saying. I'm just this is really really simple and
- 4:27Speaker 1: now analogies, but it helps you along the way. Now
- 4:31Speaker 1: here's what I came to say today to everybody out there.
- 4:35Speaker 1: And this has helped me in my life. I can't
- 4:38Speaker 1: tell you what it's done for me, But a lot
- 4:41Speaker 1: of people are struggling with moving forward with their future,
- 4:46Speaker 1: their future plans, their future goals, their future aspirations, their
- 4:52Speaker 1: future hopes, their future dreams. Just simply that your future
- 4:58Speaker 1: wants a lot of people trying to have a hard
- 5:01Speaker 1: time mapping out their future. Even what I'm gonna do,
- 5:04Speaker 1: what I'm gonna be, what I'm gonna make ham or
- 5:08Speaker 1: go about it? What do I do next? I want
- 5:11Speaker 1: to share something with you that I had to come
- 5:13Speaker 1: to terms with. The quickest way to lose focus on
- 5:18Speaker 1: your future is to keep focusing on your past. You know,
- 5:22Speaker 1: It's like I said at the beginning, you know when
- 5:24Speaker 1: I say it's wonderful to look at your life and
- 5:27Speaker 1: review it, because if you look at it, it'll tell
- 5:30Speaker 1: you it really helps shape inform you today as the
- 5:35Speaker 1: person you are now. If you look at it in
- 5:38Speaker 1: a positive sense. But if you dwell in harp on
- 5:41Speaker 1: the negative that's happened to you, then that keeps you
- 5:45Speaker 1: from seeing the good in the incident, every bad thing
- 5:48Speaker 1: that's happened to you, that was a silver lining behind it.
- 5:52Speaker 1: I know people who were on drugs who finally, man
- 5:55Speaker 1: just got sent to prison for stealing because of the habit.
- 5:59Speaker 1: I know Cat sol Dope. Well, he went to prison.
- 6:03Speaker 1: He told me one time, he said, Steve. He said, man,
- 6:06Speaker 1: this is the best thing ever happened to me to
- 6:08Speaker 1: save my life. Now, most people would think, how in
- 6:11Speaker 1: the world is going to prison helpful for you? The
- 6:14Speaker 1: brother said, it saved my life. First of all, it
- 6:18Speaker 1: got me clean. He said, I've been cleaned for five
- 6:21Speaker 1: years from sitting in here. That's for starters. I'm cleaned.
- 6:25Speaker 1: I ain't still in no more. I ain't putting myself
- 6:28Speaker 1: in jeopard and I ain't jeopardizing nobody else. He said. Now, man,
- 6:32Speaker 1: I don't went to college. I didn't got a college
- 6:34Speaker 1: degree while I'm in him. Then he was released from prison,
- 6:39Speaker 1: and the brother's life was completely turned around. He married,
- 6:43Speaker 1: he got a family, he got a great job. He
- 6:46Speaker 1: go to work every day. He's a productive citizen. I mean.
- 6:50Speaker 1: So he looks back on his incarceration, even his drug abuse,
- 6:56Speaker 1: and it taught him how to appreciate the things in
- 6:59Speaker 1: life that he take it for granted and was missing
- 7:01Speaker 1: because he said, man, my life was just in a blur.
- 7:04Speaker 1: I didn't even know what was going on. He said,
- 7:07Speaker 1: Now I appreciate every day I wake up. That's what
- 7:10Speaker 1: I mean. Even in your missteps in life, there is
- 7:14Speaker 1: a purpose for the missteps. Every time you fail, there
- 7:18Speaker 1: was a reason for the failure. See what I had
- 7:21Speaker 1: to do was I had to learn that all of
- 7:23Speaker 1: my failures taught me how to get back up. So
- 7:27Speaker 1: I became a very strong and tough person in getting
- 7:30Speaker 1: back up. And then I was down and out so
- 7:33Speaker 1: long that it taught me how to really appreciate the up.
- 7:37Speaker 1: And so I've taken all of that and used it
- 7:41Speaker 1: those experiences that happened to me, and I became a
- 7:45Speaker 1: more experienced person. So next time when people talk about
- 7:48Speaker 1: me who don't know me. It don't shake me because
- 7:52Speaker 1: everybody's not gonna like you. Man, you might as well
- 7:54Speaker 1: gonna get on this train right now. And so what
- 7:58Speaker 1: I'm saying to you out there is the quickest way
- 8:00Speaker 1: to lose focus on your future is to keep focusing
- 8:03Speaker 1: on your path. Let it go. Yeah yeah, yeah, he left.
- 8:08Speaker 1: Sometimes the breakup is the blessing. I know it's hard
- 8:11Speaker 1: to break up because now you're loaning you by yourself.
- 8:14Speaker 1: But man, but when you're in misery, when you was
- 8:16Speaker 1: in that, weren't you in complete misery in that? Now
- 8:21Speaker 1: you kept asking God to fix it. But it takes
- 8:24Speaker 1: two people to fix a relationship. It don't just take one.
- 8:27Speaker 1: It takes two to make a thing go right. It
- 8:31Speaker 1: takes two to make it out of sight. You really
- 8:34Speaker 1: do have to have two people wanting a relationship to work.
- 8:37Speaker 1: It can't just be one person want a relationship, so
- 8:40Speaker 1: you can pray about the relationship all you want. If
- 8:42Speaker 1: the other person don't want you no more and ain't
- 8:45Speaker 1: gonna act right, you can't make him do that or
- 8:48Speaker 1: you can't make her do that. But you steady asking
- 8:51Speaker 1: God for a new relationship. But you are yet to
- 8:56Speaker 1: be grateful that you are in a position to have
- 8:59Speaker 1: a relationship. And you keep harping on the pass. You
- 9:02Speaker 1: don't think he hear that. I'm just a dude with
- 9:05Speaker 1: a show and I hear it all the time. Let
- 9:07Speaker 1: it go go forward. It's over. You made it, He
- 9:12Speaker 1: bought you through it, you conquered, you survived it. Why
- 9:17Speaker 1: are you dwelling on it and making it the cross
- 9:20Speaker 1: around your neck when clearly he had removed it for you. Now,
- 9:25Speaker 1: all you got to do is come on. So if
- 9:27Speaker 1: you're sitting behind them walls, brothers and sisters, I'm talking
- 9:30Speaker 1: directly to you sometimes. Man, you just got to get
- 9:33Speaker 1: it right. All this repeat offending the business that's for?
- 9:37Speaker 1: Who is that for? How ignorant can you be to
- 9:40Speaker 1: keep giving your life back to the penal system? Be free, man,
- 9:44Speaker 1: walk the streets, do the right thing. Ask God to
- 9:47Speaker 1: help connect you. He could do anything. You think he
- 9:50Speaker 1: can't give you a job? Are you serious? Man? Put
- 9:53Speaker 1: some faith on it. Let's move forward, y'all. Let it go.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Let's move Want two, Want two three? Somebody said that's
- 10:08Speaker 1: what the safety that would dancing you the the streets.
- 10:14Speaker 1: Somebody told me that they was dancing or by me.
- 10:22Speaker 1: I write the song the way I like them saying,
- 10:30Speaker 1: and if you don't like it, go on and do
- 10:35Speaker 1: your thing. Yeah, somebody told me that they would dancing industry.
- 10:49Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, I felt like that today. Good mother Shelley,
- 10:55Speaker 1: Carla Junior, Jay, Nephew, Money Friday baby. All right, man,
- 11:07Speaker 1: where do you want? Uncle man? As you sum up Sunday,
- 11:13Speaker 1: Sunday Halloween and kids gotta go trick or treat. But
- 11:17Speaker 1: everybody's not being a getting though, because handy, if you
- 11:19Speaker 1: get dropped off of the old babyhood, what they gonna
- 11:23Speaker 1: getting their bag house. Well, first of all, all of
- 11:29Speaker 1: my kids is going Halloween. All my grandkids is going
- 11:33Speaker 1: and they're going as white kids. Okay, okay, okay, Now
- 11:41Speaker 1: they started crying when I told them what they costume
- 11:44Speaker 1: was coping. They started crying. Why they came down. I
- 11:51Speaker 1: don't know. I'm gonna have to change Gary my kids.
- 11:54Speaker 1: Where my grandson, Well, I got beat old anyway, come
- 11:57Speaker 1: my grandson. Let me tell you what we fell out
- 11:59Speaker 1: by yesterday when I came off the trip. It was
- 12:03Speaker 1: amazing because I hugged him and he runs to me
- 12:06Speaker 1: every time, and little Noah grab me and I said, Venom,
- 12:09Speaker 1: what's up, Venom, give her some love because Venom was
- 12:13Speaker 1: the last superhero he was. When I left, he pushed
- 12:18Speaker 1: away from me and he looked devastated. He said, Papa,
- 12:24Speaker 1: I'm not Venom, and I went with Damn. I didn't know,
- 12:29Speaker 1: and I tried to hug him again, but I'm he
- 12:32Speaker 1: Man now. His sister Rose was standing there, said, look
- 12:40Speaker 1: at his shirt, pawpaw. So he stepped back and pulls
- 12:43Speaker 1: on his shirt and looked down at it to make
- 12:45Speaker 1: sure he man on it. To see why my old
- 12:48Speaker 1: ass didn't notice that he Man was on the T shirt.
- 12:51Speaker 1: And while I'm still calling him Venom, it's the damn
- 12:54Speaker 1: problem he got. Pay attention to the damn costume with
- 12:58Speaker 1: your old ass. In other words, yeah, that's what he
- 13:02Speaker 1: told you. So I tried to recover with Heman, but
- 13:06Speaker 1: he walked away in disgust with his old ass, Paul
- 13:10Speaker 1: Paul for not knowing and recognize that he was he made. So,
- 13:14Speaker 1: I don't know what you asked me about this Halloween question. Yeah,
- 13:18Speaker 1: but it's touch but damn, and I'm dealing with some
- 13:20Speaker 1: other things before Halloween will give her money. I got
- 13:24Speaker 1: to go find out who the hell hemane is? Come up?
- 13:28Speaker 1: I gotta come up with a he made phrase before
- 13:31Speaker 1: I see this grand slaugh in mind. All right, coming,
- 13:37Speaker 1: I'm a thirty two minutes after the hour, we'll hear
- 13:39Speaker 1: from nephew. Tell me and run that frank back right
- 13:41Speaker 1: after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. It is
- 13:46Speaker 1: time now to run that frank back with the nephew.
- 13:49Speaker 1: What you got, nef run it back? Are your lights on?
- 13:54Speaker 1: All your lights on? We're gonna run that thing back
- 13:57Speaker 1: right here, right now. Let's go cat Hello, Hello, uh Is.
- 14:03Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach us. Who's going this this? They
- 14:07Speaker 1: call me Pepper? I live I think I actually live
- 14:10Speaker 1: in an apartment behind you. I think my my apartments
- 14:14Speaker 1: are up against each other. But you are you in
- 14:16Speaker 1: UM and UNI? Who want to know? Actually I want
- 14:20Speaker 1: to know. I'm calling you. I got a little bit
- 14:21Speaker 1: of a problem. I actually live in, uh which is
- 14:25Speaker 1: the apartment that that's our apartments are backed back with
- 14:29Speaker 1: each other, and I don't in the arm man, But
- 14:33Speaker 1: you are right, yes, okay, here's here's what's going on.
- 14:38Speaker 1: It took me a long time to figure this out.
- 14:40Speaker 1: But when you come home in the evening and you
- 14:43Speaker 1: turn your life doone my my oven and stove come on,
- 14:49Speaker 1: and I'm talking about every out on my stove is
- 14:52Speaker 1: on and burning hot. How do you know that's because
- 14:56Speaker 1: when I turned my life home, I just I mean,
- 14:58Speaker 1: I didn't figure it out. It just seemed like every time,
- 15:01Speaker 1: I mean, I hear you when you close your door,
- 15:03Speaker 1: and every evening, I'm like, why is my oven and
- 15:07Speaker 1: my stove coming on? And I'm taking about my whole
- 15:09Speaker 1: kitchen just hunting degrees in there. But I understove being
- 15:12Speaker 1: on like that? Okay, did you call maintenance? From my understanding,
- 15:17Speaker 1: I'm only listen. They're not gonna get to me for
- 15:19Speaker 1: a couple of days now, so I'm not I'm asking you,
- 15:23Speaker 1: you're on mind to not have your lights on until
- 15:26Speaker 1: they come get this pace. Okay. So you asking me
- 15:30Speaker 1: not to turn on my lights for three or four
- 15:32Speaker 1: days and you know, to sit in the dark. Well,
- 15:34Speaker 1: I'm just saying it's only gonna be for a couple
- 15:36Speaker 1: of days. I know it's a little bit of an inconvenience,
- 15:38Speaker 1: but I mean, I can't be over here in the house,
- 15:41Speaker 1: you know, damn about to burn down. Are you listening
- 15:43Speaker 1: to what you're saying. You're asking me to sit in
- 15:45Speaker 1: the dark. You know, I got a baby. I can't
- 15:47Speaker 1: sit in the dark, Okay. I mean, y'all have any
- 15:49Speaker 1: camels or something y'all can work with or something like that.
- 15:52Speaker 1: I have to give my baby food, milk. I mean, really,
- 15:56Speaker 1: you want me to sit in the dark, and you
- 15:58Speaker 1: don't want me to turn anything on. You know, I
- 16:00Speaker 1: got to feed my baby. I understand, and and and
- 16:03Speaker 1: much respect to you in your child, much respect. But
- 16:06Speaker 1: what I'm trying to explain to you is, I mean,
- 16:08Speaker 1: we have to look at the big hazard here. The
- 16:10Speaker 1: bigger hazard is is that I'm over here with fire on. Okay,
- 16:14Speaker 1: first of all, where you getting this wee from? How
- 16:17Speaker 1: am I involved in your situation? I Am not the
- 16:20Speaker 1: one that's going on in your house. Lights is patched
- 16:22Speaker 1: in some kind of way to my oven and stove. Okay,
- 16:25Speaker 1: but I still I don't have anything to do with that.
- 16:28Speaker 1: You know, you need to call management whatever. But I
- 16:32Speaker 1: don't have anything to do with that. And I want
- 16:34Speaker 1: to know, how do you know when I get home
- 16:37Speaker 1: and turn on my lights? I mean, like, are you
- 16:39Speaker 1: looking at my window or something? Are you a peeping tone?
- 16:41Speaker 1: Do I need to call nine one one. You don't
- 16:43Speaker 1: need to call nobody on me. Now what we need
- 16:45Speaker 1: to get somebody over here and fix this other in
- 16:47Speaker 1: the stove. That's what we got to get done. But
- 16:49Speaker 1: until the end, right now, you can't turn them lights off.
- 16:53Speaker 1: Oh I'm turning on my life. I mean, I know
- 16:56Speaker 1: you ain't trying to regulate what I do in my house.
- 16:59Speaker 1: For listen, I'm gonna tell you you just like this here,
- 17:01Speaker 1: I'm gonna need you to keep them lights off until
- 17:03Speaker 1: making this get over here in two days. Now. If
- 17:06Speaker 1: if I see this stove come on and all these
- 17:09Speaker 1: our eyes on this on this stove come on, then
- 17:13Speaker 1: I'm going to come over there and we're gonna have
- 17:14Speaker 1: to directify the problem. But I cannot have just coming
- 17:17Speaker 1: on now. I'm not no, I'm not, no, I'm not.
- 17:22Speaker 1: I'm telling you not to turn the lights off. That's
- 17:24Speaker 1: what I'm asking you to do. Well, I can't sit
- 17:26Speaker 1: in the dark and I'm gonna turn on my lights.
- 17:28Speaker 1: So you know you're gonna have to deal with it. No,
- 17:31Speaker 1: I'm not going to deal with it. You're gonna have
- 17:32Speaker 1: to actually turn the lights off. Now I understand. Do
- 17:35Speaker 1: you have somewhere you can go stay to me? Do
- 17:38Speaker 1: you have somewhere you can go stay? I'm not leaving
- 17:40Speaker 1: my house. I don't have a problem. You and the
- 17:42Speaker 1: one with the problem. I'm not going to leave here
- 17:45Speaker 1: and then you turn it on, and then you come
- 17:46Speaker 1: over here and knock on my door. You think you
- 17:48Speaker 1: see firing your stove. You're gonna see some fire? Can
- 17:50Speaker 1: show you some five. Okay, listen, I'm trying with as
- 17:54Speaker 1: calmly as I can. Okay, I'm trying to work with
- 17:56Speaker 1: me calmly. Okay. The only thing you're doing right now
- 17:58Speaker 1: is you're trying to tell me what to do and
- 18:00Speaker 1: run my household. Okay, If you're not gonna work with me,
- 18:03Speaker 1: then that's what I'm gonna do. I already found out
- 18:05Speaker 1: where the break is. I just go and just turn
- 18:07Speaker 1: all the pow off so you don't have your powwall
- 18:10Speaker 1: it off. Wait a minute, what numb You can't turn
- 18:13Speaker 1: my break off? Are you crazy? I got to do
- 18:15Speaker 1: what I got to do. I can't start no far round.
- 18:18Speaker 1: Do you get my phone number anyway? I mean, how
- 18:20Speaker 1: you know my name? My number? Artist? You know what
- 18:23Speaker 1: my about to come home? And he's gonna put the
- 18:25Speaker 1: foot up your I don't care if he put your
- 18:28Speaker 1: in the of it and we set you on fire.
- 18:31Speaker 1: What you're talking about, You're gonna damn turn the break off.
- 18:34Speaker 1: Let me. I'm trying to tell me and prevent a
- 18:36Speaker 1: fire for the whole complex. And you're up and you're
- 18:39Speaker 1: trying to commit Uh, this is like arsen for you
- 18:42Speaker 1: to turn that on. I don't give a you don't want.
- 18:44Speaker 1: You already got a problem, So I'm just gonna ask
- 18:46Speaker 1: you to the fire. You call me and again, I
- 18:49Speaker 1: want to know how you got my numb Look, I'm
- 18:51Speaker 1: nothing to city and go on in this little small turn.
- 18:54Speaker 1: The mism is is that we got a problem with
- 18:56Speaker 1: your switch. When you turn it on. My don't have
- 18:59Speaker 1: a clos You got the problem. It's about to be
- 19:03Speaker 1: a bigger problem when my man come over there and
- 19:05Speaker 1: put a foot up your I don't know who you
- 19:07Speaker 1: thank you with me, but it's about to be on.
- 19:11Speaker 1: I don't know how you got my number, but you
- 19:13Speaker 1: called the wrong today. Okay, fine, I got one more
- 19:17Speaker 1: thing else I need to say. You got to say
- 19:19Speaker 1: because I'm tired of listening to you. Are you listening?
- 19:22Speaker 1: You ain't saying I wanted here today? You calling me
- 19:25Speaker 1: without This is Nephew tire Me from the Steve Harvey

- 19:47Speaker 1: you serious? For real? I don't believe it. I can't
- 19:55Speaker 1: believe you are right. I'm know I was ready to
- 19:58Speaker 1: put a foot up in somebody. I don't believe I
- 20:03Speaker 1: just got pumped right there. Okay, I gotta ask you
- 20:07Speaker 1: one more thing. What is the baddest I'm talking about
- 20:10Speaker 1: the baddest radio show in the land, The Steve Harvard
- 20:13Speaker 1: Morning Show. You got it that right, there's what you
- 20:19Speaker 1: call shia greatness, ignorance, stupidity, genius all at the same time.
- 20:27Speaker 1: That's what you call it. Right down, You understand, it's
- 20:30Speaker 1: all in one. It's all in one. Great stupid genius. Yeah,
- 20:35Speaker 1: great stupid of genius, stupid of genius. Wrap that thing
- 20:39Speaker 1: up like a burrito or your feels all right? Nephew,
- 20:44Speaker 1: thank you? Coming up next, it is asked the CLO
- 20:47Speaker 1: with our Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey, with your love
- 20:51Speaker 1: questions in the building. Right after this, you're listening Steven
- 20:56Speaker 1: Show coming up at the top of the hour and
- 20:59Speaker 1: entertainment news. Nani blasts her longtime friend Cynthia Bailey for
- 21:04Speaker 1: not coming to her husband Gregg's funeral, and Floyd Mayweather
- 21:07Speaker 1: offends a fan that just wanted a selfie. Floyd. But
- 21:12Speaker 1: right now it is time we'll get into it. Right
- 21:14Speaker 1: now it is time to ask the CLO Chief Love Officer,
- 21:18Speaker 1: Steve Harvey is here for your love questions. This one
- 21:21Speaker 1: is from Marla in Atlanta. Marla writes, my husband and
- 21:24Speaker 1: I have been retired for over a year, and my
- 21:27Speaker 1: husband has been making small improvements in our home, so
- 21:31Speaker 1: I was concerned about our finances since we're on a
- 21:33Speaker 1: fixed income now. He told me he's been saving for
- 21:36Speaker 1: incidentals like this, and I asked how much he had.
- 21:39Speaker 1: He said he has saved at least three hundred thousand
- 21:43Speaker 1: dollars and I was shocked. Why did I have to
- 21:47Speaker 1: question him to find out about this stash? Is it
- 21:51Speaker 1: okay that he hides money like this? Well, now you
- 21:54Speaker 1: got money to fix your house, y'all, Ain broke, what
- 21:58Speaker 1: is you crying for? He saved the money, and he
- 22:01Speaker 1: told you about it because he knows if he don't,
- 22:05Speaker 1: if he don't stash the money, you're gonna spend the money.
- 22:11Speaker 1: That's why he stashed at Mala, because he knew this
- 22:16Speaker 1: fixed income was coming and he wanted to have a
- 22:21Speaker 1: little something on his own. Congratulate your man for being frugal.
- 22:25Speaker 1: Congratulate your man for inform you that. And now stay
- 22:29Speaker 1: out to three hundred trying to figure out what you
- 22:31Speaker 1: can do with it. Now and stay on your little
- 22:34Speaker 1: fixed income and lead a man alone, because you know, hey,
- 22:44Speaker 1: you know what you know? Yeah, I might have a
- 22:47Speaker 1: little something on the side, you know what I'm saying,
- 22:50Speaker 1: And I know how to pull a little mom hood.
- 22:52Speaker 1: Ain't no where in the hell, no, sir. I got
- 22:58Speaker 1: some money in the can somewhere. There's no waiting banks
- 23:02Speaker 1: from the clothes and I'm out and nothing. No, that's
- 23:06Speaker 1: an old school right there, and I love the banks,
- 23:08Speaker 1: go clothes. I got an old school recession and all that.
- 23:16Speaker 1: In this country. You ain't got your money, no an
- 23:20Speaker 1: here all that, we ain't got that money. Bid you
- 23:24Speaker 1: got a flower bed, some money. I got something where
- 23:27Speaker 1: we can start again here, all right? Moving on, Constance
- 23:32Speaker 1: and Topeka says, I'm in my late forties and I'm
- 23:34Speaker 1: a supervisor at a printing company. My new hire is
- 23:37Speaker 1: twenty eight years old, and I was driving him through
- 23:39Speaker 1: his new territory recently so he could be familiar with it.
- 23:43Speaker 1: He asked if we could stop by his house momentarily
- 23:46Speaker 1: to use the restroom. He invited me in and instantly
- 23:50Speaker 1: came on to me. Then he showed me who's the
- 23:53Speaker 1: real boss. He was very, very skilled for his age.
- 23:57Speaker 1: Since that day, it's awkward at work and he has
- 24:01Speaker 1: no regard for me as a supervisor. I'm scared to
- 24:04Speaker 1: fire him. What should I do? Well, fire me if
- 24:08Speaker 1: you want to, But you're fitna get told on because
- 24:11Speaker 1: let me take the young boys don't know how to
- 24:13Speaker 1: keep no secret. You're gonna mess around being the damn
- 24:16Speaker 1: rap songe if your ass fired him. Had at the crib.
- 24:21Speaker 1: One day, we was going along and we started to play.
- 24:24Speaker 1: We went out there, we was taking the drive. Next
- 24:27Speaker 1: thing you know, in my house and got live. I
- 24:29Speaker 1: was sitting up here. She had on the dress, so
- 24:32Speaker 1: I came out, put her right to the test. Next
- 24:34Speaker 1: thing you know, we was on the bed and I said,
- 24:37Speaker 1: look at him. Who's the head? NA know you? Thank
- 24:40Speaker 1: you the boss on the one. But I came in
- 24:43Speaker 1: to have some fun. I don't really give a damn
- 24:45Speaker 1: about this job. Oh come on, let's bust the slaw.
- 24:53Speaker 1: I fired style fire these young ass boys. I'm telling
- 25:09Speaker 1: you that now about it, all right? Frida in Michigan
- 25:14Speaker 1: writes that I had a sixtied birthday party recently, and
- 25:17Speaker 1: all of my friends and family came. My husband and
- 25:20Speaker 1: I haven't lived in the same house in three years,
- 25:23Speaker 1: but he came to. Then a woman came in and
- 25:26Speaker 1: said she was there because he invited her. My sister
- 25:29Speaker 1: and my cousin had words with a woman, and she left.
- 25:32Speaker 1: I found out later that he and this woman lived together,
- 25:35Speaker 1: so I showed up at her home. He was laid
- 25:38Speaker 1: up on her couch and told me I wasn't welcome there.
- 25:42Speaker 1: Should I file for divorce or go back over there
- 25:45Speaker 1: in get my man? What what? Y'all ain't lived together
- 25:50Speaker 1: in three years? But she think he was doing? You
- 25:54Speaker 1: think he was sitting sowhere, not involved with anybody for
- 25:58Speaker 1: three years, bought her over to your birthday party? Wrong
- 26:04Speaker 1: with you, freedom, That's not your man no more? He
- 26:09Speaker 1: he knew that. A matter of fact. Let me ask something, girl, Now,
- 26:15Speaker 1: when y'all started living it away from each other three
- 26:18Speaker 1: years ago, has he been back over that? Ass? You
- 26:21Speaker 1: can't he come back home? Says that. No, no, no,
- 26:25Speaker 1: surely she didn't say, because he ain't been back over that,
- 26:28Speaker 1: you ain't got to come over that. And ass can
- 26:29Speaker 1: you come back home when you staying Somewherewhy like this
- 26:36Speaker 1: sometime I don't get that man. I'm gonna go back
- 26:39Speaker 1: and get my man. He not your man no more.
- 26:43Speaker 1: And it's because the other woman was there. She got jealous. Well, missus, Shirley,
- 26:50Speaker 1: they haven't lived together in three years. Friends and family
- 26:53Speaker 1: came over, including your husband, and you said, even though
- 26:57Speaker 1: y'all ain't lived together in three years, that ain't all
- 27:00Speaker 1: y'all ain't been doing together. But you know how much
- 27:02Speaker 1: he'd been doing and through you, you know how much.
- 27:07Speaker 1: All Right, he not over there. He is not with you.
- 27:11Speaker 1: If he opened there, he's not with you. Yeah, he
- 27:14Speaker 1: ain't thought about you. Freedom, Laurence. All right, we're moving on.
- 27:25Speaker 1: Lynette and Delaware says. I'm a preschool teacher and one
- 27:28Speaker 1: of my five year olds told me that her daddy
- 27:30Speaker 1: said I was pretty. Her parents do a good job
- 27:32Speaker 1: at co parenting, and her father is cute, but not
- 27:36Speaker 1: my type. I still wanted to see if he thought
- 27:39Speaker 1: I was cute. So when he picked her up, I
- 27:42Speaker 1: told him what his daughter said and he said that
- 27:45Speaker 1: his child is a little comedian. And there's no way
- 27:47Speaker 1: he said that. I was hurt and interest he didn't
- 27:52Speaker 1: realize I was offended. How could a man be so
- 27:55Speaker 1: insensitive how he feels? Who wh whoa whoa whoa whoa?
- 28:02Speaker 1: You said he wasn't your type. What you're saying then
- 28:07Speaker 1: when he acted like he ain't your type? Now you mad?
- 28:11Speaker 1: How could he be so insensitive because you you ain't
- 28:15Speaker 1: his tight He ain't your type. Now you're sitting up
- 28:19Speaker 1: in here time out. You know he handsome, but he
- 28:22Speaker 1: not your type. Yeah, see, you you really wanted to
- 28:26Speaker 1: go out there. First of all, the letter is a lie.
- 28:31Speaker 1: You were flattered when the little baby said that, and
- 28:33Speaker 1: now you try to play like it wasn't your type.
- 28:35Speaker 1: He is your type because he cute. Now what a
- 28:38Speaker 1: body may a you don't like except now what he said,
- 28:43Speaker 1: he she's a little comedian. I would never say anything
- 28:45Speaker 1: like that because he scared his daughter gonna get put
- 28:48Speaker 1: out to school because you know y'all in the council culture.
- 28:51Speaker 1: Now ain't coming up girl. We'll have some entertainment now,
- 28:57Speaker 1: and I got three women come on this show. Always
- 28:59Speaker 1: take care. They sell. You could say that, but you
- 29:02Speaker 1: play a compliment them. Note we'll be back right after this.
- 29:07Speaker 1: Somebody got nice hair. You're listening to the show. Well,
- 29:17Speaker 1: Ninie has blasted her longtime friend and former Real Housewives
- 29:20Speaker 1: Atlanta co stars Cynthia Bailey for not attending her late
- 29:24Speaker 1: husband Greg Leek's funeral or repass. We all love Ninie's husband, Greg,
- 29:29Speaker 1: who unfortunately passed away from colon cancer last month. Well.
- 29:33Speaker 1: In a recent interview, Nini took the opportunity to express
- 29:37Speaker 1: her disappointment with how Cynthia and other Bravo Network celebrities
- 29:41Speaker 1: showed their condolences. Ninie said, she meaning Cynthia, didn't even
- 29:46Speaker 1: come to the repass. She didn't come like she did
- 29:49Speaker 1: come like a week later and after everything was done,
- 29:52Speaker 1: she came by my lounge. She added, It's really hard
- 29:56Speaker 1: to explain housewise, It's almost like a dysfunctional fan. Cynthia
- 30:01Speaker 1: Bailey exclusively told Page six that she missed Greg Leek's
- 30:05Speaker 1: funeral because she was out of town. Cynthia commented, I'm
- 30:08Speaker 1: really glad, honestly looking back, that I didn't make it
- 30:11Speaker 1: to the actual celebration, because I think if I had,
- 30:14Speaker 1: I never would have had the moment that I got
- 30:16Speaker 1: to have with Ninie just hanging out with her at
- 30:19Speaker 1: her lounge. We really got to spend someone on one
- 30:22Speaker 1: time together. Ninie sees that in a different light. Ninie
- 30:26Speaker 1: also blasted her fellow Bravo Bravos celebrities on the flowers
- 30:32Speaker 1: that they collectively sent to her after Greg's death. Nini said, Actually,
- 30:37Speaker 1: I was surprised because the first set of flowers I
- 30:40Speaker 1: got was a bouquet from like all of the housewives,
- 30:43Speaker 1: like they went in together. I'm like, why do you
- 30:46Speaker 1: all need to go in together and buy some darned flowers?
- 30:50Speaker 1: If all y'all work, you can spend your own two
- 30:54Speaker 1: hundred dollars, you know, Nini, Yeah, I said, y'all got
- 31:03Speaker 1: individual Come on, y'all got flower money. I know, y'all
- 31:08Speaker 1: it's flowers on the show to each other, just taking
- 31:10Speaker 1: sin if you wanted to. But if y'all got it,
- 31:12Speaker 1: you know, I have a different I have a different
- 31:15Speaker 1: view of that. I have a different view of that.
- 31:19Speaker 1: I just think that funerals are not funerals are just
- 31:23Speaker 1: for other people. The actual star of the show is
- 31:28Speaker 1: unaware of all of this. And you know, look, I
- 31:34Speaker 1: don't like the dumping on the person for not coming,
- 31:38Speaker 1: because what is that about. You know, you don't know
- 31:42Speaker 1: people's situation. That's not I don't. I don't like the
- 31:45Speaker 1: dumping on the people. You know, I liked it, brother, man,
- 31:48Speaker 1: I really did. I thought Greg was one the coolest
- 31:50Speaker 1: always super cool dude. Man. But you know, I mean flowers,
- 31:57Speaker 1: you measuring what size flowers people sent you and stuff.
- 32:00Speaker 1: Petty yeah, petty, yeah, I just to meet Well, you know,
- 32:05Speaker 1: everybody reacts different to funerals. Yeah. I think she thought
- 32:08Speaker 1: she meant more to them. They could have done more.
- 32:11Speaker 1: She thought she and Cynthia were friends. She wanted, you know,
- 32:14Speaker 1: she just wanted them to be there for her. I
- 32:16Speaker 1: think that's what she was trying to say. But you
- 32:20Speaker 1: throw water on me, you ain't getting no flowers. I
- 32:25Speaker 1: just I just I just don't think that you shouldn't. Yeah,
- 32:29Speaker 1: I don't think it's about I don't think it's about you.
- 32:34Speaker 1: And if you make the after event about you, it
- 32:37Speaker 1: furthers the grief for you. Yeah, I think she does
- 32:41Speaker 1: think it's about her. I think that's the I mean,
- 32:43Speaker 1: you know, here's if I lose somebody that I love
- 32:45Speaker 1: deally and I'm dealing with that loss, I'm most certainly
- 32:49Speaker 1: not going to add on the take a flower account
- 32:53Speaker 1: and add that on to the plate and then look
- 32:56Speaker 1: around and take a dollar amount and who chipped being
- 33:00Speaker 1: or what y'all. I'm not going to do that to
- 33:01Speaker 1: myself because I'm gonna be busy dealing with the loss. Yeah,
- 33:06Speaker 1: much bitter much. But you can't also understand when a
- 33:09Speaker 1: friend who you think is a friend when you look
- 33:11Speaker 1: around is not. There Ain't none of them girls friends.
- 33:15Speaker 1: I mean that's what she's saying at this time, of
- 33:18Speaker 1: which one I'm friends, but you know they fell out
- 33:23Speaker 1: off and on the whole we're in, y'all, what show
- 33:28Speaker 1: y'all been watching? Call me to be words that you
- 33:30Speaker 1: go get some flowers? As you said, yot, yeah, I think.
- 33:43Speaker 1: But then has a right to feel the way they
- 33:45Speaker 1: feel unless they're saying that. Look, the reality shows, reality
- 33:50Speaker 1: showing us all put up all for pretense and all that,
- 33:53Speaker 1: and we're supposed to be better than that in real life,
- 33:56Speaker 1: then say that. But all we see is the reality show,
- 34:01Speaker 1: and based on that, I don't see why you want
- 34:03Speaker 1: me nowhere. Yeah, Floyd Shoe had me and thinking I'm
- 34:07Speaker 1: showing up in the words of men. I said what
- 34:10Speaker 1: I said. Yeah. And in other news, a male teenage
- 34:20Speaker 1: fan of Floyd Mayweather has accused Mayweather of being a
- 34:23Speaker 1: bigot because Floyd refused to take a selfie with him
- 34:27Speaker 1: because the boys nails were painted. TMZ posted a video
- 34:31Speaker 1: of the incident, which went down after an LA Lakers game,
- 34:35Speaker 1: and Floyd can be seen posing with other fans and
- 34:38Speaker 1: then looking at the team and saying, you got painted nails.
- 34:41Speaker 1: I don't take pictures with guys with no painted nails.
- 34:44Speaker 1: Mayweather's bodyguard then stepped in to put an end to
- 34:47Speaker 1: the discussion. Floyd's reps insist that Floyd was just in
- 34:51Speaker 1: a hurry to leave the game and he didn't mean
- 34:53Speaker 1: any harm with his statement. But you know, people called
- 34:57Speaker 1: him a bigot. They called him a home of foe
- 34:59Speaker 1: because yeah, well, I don't like selfies with men period,
- 35:06Speaker 1: painted nails, ear rings, tattoos. I don't give a damn
- 35:11Speaker 1: You can have an Omega brand on your chest. I
- 35:15Speaker 1: don't like selfies with men because I don't like men
- 35:20Speaker 1: next to my face trying to take no damn picture.
- 35:22Speaker 1: I don't like that. So I don't know what you're
- 35:25Speaker 1: gonna call me, but I don't like selfish with me.
- 35:30Speaker 1: I'll take a picture with you, but we're not fitting
- 35:33Speaker 1: to put our cheeks up against each other and take
- 35:35Speaker 1: no damn picture. That's not what we're fitting to do
- 35:40Speaker 1: this camera. I don't know what you call that right there, paranoid,
- 35:43Speaker 1: but we're not our faces not touching fellas che come one.
- 35:52Speaker 1: Coming up next, we're gonna look into the mind of
- 35:54Speaker 1: j Anthony Brown at twenty minutes after right after this,
- 35:58Speaker 1: you're listening Harvey Morning Show. All right, come on, Steve,
- 36:02Speaker 1: it is time to look into the mind of your friends,
- 36:05Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen. Let's go Jay Athony Brown. Thank you,
- 36:09Speaker 1: mister Harvey, Thank you so much. There's probably nobody on
- 36:12Speaker 1: this show that loves chicken more than me. I've tried
- 36:17Speaker 1: to stop, but I just can't end up going back
- 36:20Speaker 1: to chicken. And for you vegans out there, chicken is
- 36:23Speaker 1: not a meat. You should eat it. It's chicken, Okay,
- 36:26Speaker 1: it's not it's not meat at all. It's not meat.
- 36:30Speaker 1: It's chicken. Okay, meat, there's vegetable, and then there's chicken. Now,
- 36:37Speaker 1: why I'm saying this is because we are about to
- 36:40Speaker 1: run out of chicken. And the reason we're gonna run
- 36:42Speaker 1: out of chicken because every other day somebody is opening
- 36:46Speaker 1: the business selling chicken. I just found out that Harvey's
- 36:50Speaker 1: to meet people. We have the beef. Now they got chicken.
- 36:54Speaker 1: They got chicken, which means which means we need to
- 36:58Speaker 1: get some of these people who will open these just
- 37:00Speaker 1: to look at some other birds to fry and cook up.
- 37:04Speaker 1: Just duck this pigeon horn. His hand is just flying around.
- 37:11Speaker 1: Let's taste this off the fly around you, and let's
- 37:16Speaker 1: fry up some of these damn eagles. Okay, he wins.
- 37:20Speaker 1: I know the wings are tanning, they are very tanning.
- 37:23Speaker 1: But if you flower them right, they might they might
- 37:27Speaker 1: good taste good, all right, swan, swan, that's a big
- 37:31Speaker 1: as a big bird. That's a big that's a big
- 37:36Speaker 1: as that. Yeah, I don't you don't know how good
- 37:45Speaker 1: a parrot wing would taste. Then that would stop. If
- 37:48Speaker 1: you fry wing on a parrot, that would cut out
- 37:51Speaker 1: a lot of that damn talking. I'm telling you, if you,
- 37:55Speaker 1: if you, if you are all that be gone, isn't talking?
- 38:04Speaker 1: We cornish wings that that would be great now with
- 38:08Speaker 1: that being sick cornish wings, a wingstop wings and frogs
- 38:13Speaker 1: with dak Mean said, I just got off the phone
- 38:16Speaker 1: with some people, some signists, and they're working on some
- 38:19Speaker 1: new chickens. These are the most amazing chickens. They're gonna
- 38:22Speaker 1: come out because these chickens will save moms and dads
- 38:25Speaker 1: and uncles and one of them who like the barbecue.
- 38:28Speaker 1: Because these chickens they're working on in the end for
- 38:31Speaker 1: the signists right now, these chickens will cook they damn selves.
- 38:35Speaker 1: They will cook themselves. You got chickens that will come out,
- 38:39Speaker 1: and if you pay extra money when you cut them up,
- 38:42Speaker 1: they bleed hot sauce. So look what with me on
- 38:46Speaker 1: his damn chicken. Okay, that's all I'm saying. I'm done with.
- 38:52Speaker 1: Coming up in thirty four minutes after the hour, we're
- 38:55Speaker 1: gonna talk about the first black owned casino and four
- 38:59Speaker 1: star resort coming to Richmond, Virginia. If we vote right
- 39:04Speaker 1: after this, you're listening, Hey, guys, we have a special
- 39:11Speaker 1: guest on the phone. I've known this brother for a
- 39:15Speaker 1: little over twenty one years now. We've been in business together.
- 39:18Speaker 1: He's one of the bright business minds in this country.
- 39:21Speaker 1: Today he's our special guest. He is the chief executive
- 39:25Speaker 1: officer of Urban one, which is formerly known as Radio one,
- 39:29Speaker 1: and the chairman and chief executive officer of TV one.
- 39:33Speaker 1: And he's joining us this morning to encourage voters in Richmond, Virginia.
- 39:37Speaker 1: There's a big election coming up this Tuesday. We've been
- 39:40Speaker 1: talking about this governor's race, but we got one other
- 39:43Speaker 1: thing we want you to pay attention to on this
- 39:45Speaker 1: ballot and it's very important and he's here to talk
- 39:47Speaker 1: to us about it this morning. Please, welcome to the
- 39:49Speaker 1: show an old friend of mine, mister Alfred C. Liggins. Welcome, Welcome, Welcome, sir.
- 39:55Speaker 1: Good morning. How you doing man, I'm doing family, great
- 39:58Speaker 1: to be here. I really appre shaped the opportunity to
- 40:01Speaker 1: come talk to you and you your wide ranging audience. Yes, sir, well,
- 40:06Speaker 1: let's get right to it. Man. What's going on in
- 40:08Speaker 1: the city of Richmond, Virginia. So we are creating history
- 40:13Speaker 1: in the city of Richmond, Virginia. In sixteen nineteen the
- 40:17Speaker 1: first enslave Africans were brought to Port Comfort, Virginia, and
- 40:21Speaker 1: now in two twenty one, the city of Richmond has
- 40:24Speaker 1: the opportunity to welcome the only African American owned casino
- 40:30Speaker 1: resort entertainment complex. Hard to believe that all over the country,
- 40:34Speaker 1: whether it's Las Vegas or Atlantic City, are now in
- 40:38Speaker 1: any of the major metropolitan areas, not one African American
- 40:42Speaker 1: controls and operates a casino resort. In urban One is
- 40:45Speaker 1: proposing to build a six hundred million dollars facility right
- 40:50Speaker 1: there on ninety five easy access for everybody, two hundred
- 40:54Speaker 1: and fifty room luxury hotel, three thousand seat theater with
- 40:59Speaker 1: two hundred lives shows a year in partnership with Live Nation,
- 41:02Speaker 1: one hundred thousand square foot casino gaming facility, and a
- 41:08Speaker 1: fifteen thousand square foot film and TV sound stage where
- 41:11Speaker 1: we're going to bring production from TV one and CLEOTV
- 41:16Speaker 1: right to Richmond, Virginia, and we're going to create forty
- 41:21Speaker 1: five hundred jobs. Fifty percent of those are going to
- 41:24Speaker 1: go to black people, forty percent of all the contracts
- 41:28Speaker 1: are going to go to black people, and sixty percent
- 41:30Speaker 1: of that is for richmonders, and so a huge economic
- 41:34Speaker 1: opportunity with fifty million dollars a year going to the city,
- 41:37Speaker 1: one hundreds of millions dollars of revenue, where ten percent
- 41:41Speaker 1: of that revenue is going to go back to the city,
- 41:43Speaker 1: and contracts that are going to create business opportunities for
- 41:48Speaker 1: local black businesses and help create generational wealth. Okay, all right,
- 41:52Speaker 1: so listen to me, guys. What he's saying is about jobs.
- 41:57Speaker 1: What he's talking about is about an opportunity to unity,
- 42:00Speaker 1: and what he's talking about is breaking and knocking down barriers.
- 42:04Speaker 1: This is an opportunity for the first African American owned
- 42:07Speaker 1: casino and resort ever to land in this country, and
- 42:11Speaker 1: it has an opportunity in Richmond. Here's the deal, though,
- 42:15Speaker 1: when you go to the polls on Tuesday, we are
- 42:18Speaker 1: voting for the democratic governor and anybody else that's democratic.
- 42:24Speaker 1: Let's just stop playing this game. But when you get
- 42:28Speaker 1: the ballot, you have to flip the ballot over because
- 42:32Speaker 1: on the ballot on the back they have bills and resolutions.
- 42:35Speaker 1: The very last one that you flip over is they're
- 42:40Speaker 1: gonna ask you the question do you approve of casino
- 42:43Speaker 1: gaming at two thousand and one Walmsley in Richmond, Virginia.
- 42:48Speaker 1: Listen to me, everybody in Richmond, Virginia. When you go
- 42:52Speaker 1: to the polls twos and you vote for governor Democratic governor,
- 42:56Speaker 1: flip your ballot over all the resolutions and bills. The
- 42:59Speaker 1: last one will say, do you approve of casino gaming
- 43:03Speaker 1: at two thousand and one Walmsley in Richmond, Virginia. Vote yes.
- 43:08Speaker 1: When you vote yes, you are talking about forty five
- 43:11Speaker 1: hundred jobs. You are talking about forty percent contracting job
- 43:18Speaker 1: goes out. Sixty percent of these jobs would be all
- 43:21Speaker 1: to Richmonds. It's gonna be an economic boost. It's gonna
- 43:24Speaker 1: give us a chance to go in now gamble, have
- 43:28Speaker 1: a good time, but work. Flip the ballot over and
- 43:33Speaker 1: vote yes this Tuesday in Richmond, Virginia to approve casino
- 43:38Speaker 1: gaming at two thousand and one Walmsley in Richmond, Virginia.
- 43:42Speaker 1: Vote yes, and let's go out there and celebrate the
- 43:45Speaker 1: opening in the first African American owned gaming casino resort
- 43:50Speaker 1: for niggas. We got you man all, Steve, thank you, fam.
- 43:53Speaker 1: I appreciate the opportunity. Y'all. Have a good day coming
- 43:57Speaker 1: up next. The nephew with the prank phone call today
- 44:00Speaker 1: right after this you're listening to show coming up at
- 44:06Speaker 1: the top of the hour, right about four minutes after.
- 44:08Speaker 1: It's today's Strawberry letter. The subject is he's a lot
- 44:12Speaker 1: different after a few drinks. We'll get into that. We'll
- 44:16Speaker 1: get into that. But yeah, uh huh he changes a
- 44:20Speaker 1: little bit. But uh, right now, it's time for the
- 44:23Speaker 1: nephew and today's prank phone call. What you got for
- 44:26Speaker 1: his nav? Well, you know, sir, that this is a
- 44:28Speaker 1: repo man. Anybody on this show had ever had a
- 44:31Speaker 1: vehicle repossessed? Anybody? Anybody? Yeah, yeah, many times, sir. Okay, okay,
- 44:37Speaker 1: all right, just want to make sure, all right, junior repossession.
- 44:42Speaker 1: I don't want to talk about okay, cool. I had
- 44:47Speaker 1: that man where the car was sitting up Timmy on
- 44:50Speaker 1: the bus and where they had met with a report.
- 44:53Speaker 1: Man took my car and I had to catch the
- 44:54Speaker 1: damn bus and see my car. Everybody you're looking back
- 45:02Speaker 1: at it, Jake, Oh my god, I had a butdet
- 45:06Speaker 1: thought his call was stolen, but it was repossessed. A bill, dude,
- 45:11Speaker 1: This right here is the repo man, the repole man.
- 45:15Speaker 1: Let's go cat Diggityhill. Hello, I'm trying to rechange. Please
- 45:21Speaker 1: this hill. All right, y'all. My name is uh Robert.
- 45:24Speaker 1: I'm with the collection agency. You do on a Sierra
- 45:29Speaker 1: two thousand and three GMC truck. Am I correct? Yep? Okay,
- 45:32Speaker 1: we don't show that we've had any payments within the
- 45:35Speaker 1: last I guess about three close to four months now,
- 45:38Speaker 1: and we want to try and stop having to come
- 45:40Speaker 1: in and repossess it. Maybe we give you a chance
- 45:42Speaker 1: to bring your payment in, but we haven't had a
- 45:44Speaker 1: payment from you in about four months, sir. Financial with
- 45:50Speaker 1: the other another thing, I don't don't. I don't know
- 45:52Speaker 1: what's in the moment. Yeah, I'm playing all times directed
- 45:55Speaker 1: product from our call. We're about that. Well, I'm with
- 45:58Speaker 1: they've they've turned you over to to us. I'm with
- 46:01Speaker 1: h collection agency, and we haven't gotten anything from I don't.
- 46:05Speaker 1: I don't show any uh any paperwork here on the
- 46:08Speaker 1: computer at all that we've had any payments made within
- 46:10Speaker 1: the last four months. So that's why they already turned
- 46:14Speaker 1: it over to y'all without my permission. They can't never
- 46:16Speaker 1: tell my truck over to y'all to pack y'all. I
- 46:19Speaker 1: don't even know, well, I understand that, sir. What happens
- 46:21Speaker 1: is if you haven't paid it in a certain amount
- 46:23Speaker 1: of time, it actually comes over to the collection agency.
- 46:25Speaker 1: And that's what they've done. They've actually sent it over
- 46:27Speaker 1: to us. UH. They've given us UH pretty much all
- 46:30Speaker 1: the information on you. I guess it's a gold this
- 46:33Speaker 1: type of color UH CR two thousand and three GMC
- 46:36Speaker 1: truck from my understanding, Am I correct? Yeah? That's okay. Now,
- 46:40Speaker 1: what I'm gonna need from you today, Jeremy, is for
- 46:43Speaker 1: you to come in uh and make a payment to
- 46:45Speaker 1: us this evening for four months so we can see
- 46:48Speaker 1: so we don't have to come in and repossess your truck.
- 46:50Speaker 1: And I don't want to have to do that. But
- 46:51Speaker 1: if I have to send a record out there to you,
- 46:53Speaker 1: I have your address on file as well. I don't
- 46:55Speaker 1: want to have to send anybody out to pick it up.
- 46:59Speaker 1: Y'all not coming in my truck, and I'm not paying
- 47:01Speaker 1: y'all for for no full month. I'm not paying my
- 47:04Speaker 1: truck no all time every month. That's a deal, sir.
- 47:06Speaker 1: I don't want to get in a back and forth
- 47:08Speaker 1: with you, but I'm telling you exactly how it's gonna go. Now.
- 47:11Speaker 1: I come out there and repossess it myself. But I'm
- 47:13Speaker 1: telling you what the tight look slow, no, look that's
- 47:16Speaker 1: not that's not even where we gotta go with that.
- 47:18Speaker 1: Don't be you don't need to be screaming and fussing
- 47:21Speaker 1: and chaotic and come get it yourself and all that stuff.
- 47:23Speaker 1: You ain't much truck truck that's gonna be that? What?
- 47:27Speaker 1: Hang on, let's back up, because I'm a man, just

- 47:31Speaker 1: gonna be that? What are you saying? What are you?
- 47:33Speaker 1: What are you? What are you saying to me? Son?
- 47:34Speaker 1: I'm telling you. Look, look, I'm telling you that I'm
- 47:38Speaker 1: paying my truck note and and that's a fun I
- 47:41Speaker 1: don't know, I don't know. Let's get I've already stated
- 47:44Speaker 1: to you before. I'm with an agency. And let's get
- 47:47Speaker 1: one thing straight. You don't tell me, I tell you now. Hey, hey, dude,
- 47:52Speaker 1: calm down. All the fall. It don't make no sense talking,
- 47:54Speaker 1: you know, over the fall and whatnot. You can come,
- 47:57Speaker 1: you can come get the truck. My truck right here
- 47:59Speaker 1: at work. I'm right here. You can come. You can
- 48:01Speaker 1: come try to get my truck. You come there, sure,
- 48:03Speaker 1: I'm already aware of where you work in the whole
- 48:06Speaker 1: nine yards. Now I don't. I'm trying to be as
- 48:09Speaker 1: uh cordial with you as I can. Now you can
- 48:12Speaker 1: you're talking about Conna. Get my truckle and I'll tell
- 48:14Speaker 1: you I'll be playing. So you know you should have
- 48:16Speaker 1: dropped and be like, all right, I'm gonna check with
- 48:18Speaker 1: somebody else, check with somebody else to make sure I'm right.
- 48:21Speaker 1: It didn't call me batter. I'm telling you you haven't
- 48:24Speaker 1: paid anything, That's what I'm telling you. I've got it
- 48:26Speaker 1: listed on the computer. You've been turned over an agency
- 48:30Speaker 1: and you haven't done it. You haven't done a thing.
- 48:33Speaker 1: What are you? Stupid? You? You you're raising your press
- 48:35Speaker 1: scream in the hall over the phone like that because
- 48:37Speaker 1: they ain't gonna do me me? Are you no good?
- 48:39Speaker 1: You ain't get no money from me? Then you ain't
- 48:41Speaker 1: coming from my truck. What a matter of fact? You
- 48:43Speaker 1: could come from my truck. I'm gonna be on my truck.
- 48:46Speaker 1: I'm gonna wait on you. Whatna be. It doesn't make
- 48:48Speaker 1: any difference, sir. You gotta get repossessed tonight. If I
- 48:51Speaker 1: don't get four months payment brook, definitely, if I don't
- 48:54Speaker 1: get four months payment brought into me collection agency. Your

- 53:15Speaker 1: After a few drinks, we'll get into that. Right after this.
- 53:19Speaker 1: You're listening to the Stave Harvey Morning Show. All right,

- 53:37Speaker 1: Come on Virginia and get this black owned casino. Okay,
- 53:41Speaker 1: it is time to vote early for state and local elections.
- 53:44Speaker 1: Go to when we all vote dot org to register,
- 53:47Speaker 1: check your voting status and know your voting rights. That
- 53:51Speaker 1: is when we all vote dot org. In Virginia, the
- 53:56Speaker 1: governor were voting Democratic because I'm just telling you, man,
- 54:01Speaker 1: but what's happening in this party right now is the
- 54:04Speaker 1: Trump Party, and these Republicans are holding the line. I
- 54:08Speaker 1: don't even care no more because they're not good Republicans.
- 54:12Speaker 1: If you're just honoring Donald Trump, even in his absence,
- 54:15Speaker 1: I'm against that all way. It. Democratic ticket is what
- 54:19Speaker 1: we're voting on the governor's race in Virginia and up
- 54:23Speaker 1: in New Jersey. So here's the deal. Also in Virginia,
- 54:27Speaker 1: flip over the ballot on the back where they have
- 54:29Speaker 1: the bills and resolutions. The last one to vote for
- 54:33Speaker 1: is do you want casino gaming at two thousand and
- 54:36Speaker 1: one Walmsley Road in Richmond, Virginia. We are voting yes
- 54:41Speaker 1: because that will give us the very first African American
- 54:44Speaker 1: owned casino on the resort. So flip over the ballot,
- 54:47Speaker 1: go to the last one and vote yes for do
- 54:51Speaker 1: you want casino gaming in Richmond, Richmond, Virginia. Ballot is
- 54:58Speaker 1: that piece of paper. Okay, that's that piece of paper
- 55:02Speaker 1: you write your vote on. That's the ballot. Don't go
- 55:05Speaker 1: looking for so where the ballot because Steve said, flip
- 55:07Speaker 1: it over. It's the piece of paper you're voting on
- 55:11Speaker 1: already in your hand. Ain't already it's already, So don't
- 55:15Speaker 1: vote And then go back up there and said I
- 55:17Speaker 1: need a ballot. I forgot. All right, thank you. I
- 55:23Speaker 1: think we gotta go to when we all vote dot
- 55:25Speaker 1: or all right, Daniel, it's time. Now we're gonna switch
- 55:29Speaker 1: it here. It's time now for today's Strawberry Letter. If
- 55:32Speaker 1: you need advice on relationships, work, sex, parenting, and morris,
- 55:36Speaker 1: submit your Strawberry Letter please to Steve HARVEYFM dot com.
- 55:40Speaker 1: And you never know, we could be reading your letter
- 55:42Speaker 1: live on the air, just like this one right here. Okay,
- 55:47Speaker 1: just like that one right there. Buckle up and hold
- 55:49Speaker 1: on tight. We got it for you. Here It is
- 55:51Speaker 1: the Strawberry Letter. Thank enough. Subject he's a lot different
- 55:55Speaker 1: after a few drinks. Dear Stephen Shirley, I married my
- 55:58Speaker 1: college sweetheart, and we have had our ups and downs,
- 56:01Speaker 1: but cheating was never an issue in our marriage. Now
- 56:05Speaker 1: I'm thinking of stepping out on my husband of seven years.
- 56:08Speaker 1: He's a great guy and everyone loves him when he's
- 56:12Speaker 1: not drinking. When he gets that tequila in his system,
- 56:16Speaker 1: he becomes an actor, singer, and porn star. I mean,
- 56:20Speaker 1: he is really his best in bed. He's been drinking
- 56:24Speaker 1: all night. It's like his kryptonite. The only issue with
- 56:27Speaker 1: that is dealing with all the other stuff that comes
- 56:30Speaker 1: with it, like cursing me out and talking really nasty
- 56:34Speaker 1: and dirty the whole time. He's even called me someone
- 56:37Speaker 1: else's name, but I let it slide because he was
- 56:41Speaker 1: really bringing it that night. He doesn't remember anything the
- 56:45Speaker 1: next day, and recently he told me that we haven't
- 56:47Speaker 1: had sex in a long time. I agreed with him
- 56:50Speaker 1: because I can't stand him when he's drunk or sober.
- 56:54Speaker 1: I've started sleeping in the other room so I can
- 56:57Speaker 1: get peace from his snoring and I go I can
- 57:00Speaker 1: get in bed with him in the next morning. I'm
- 57:03Speaker 1: not sure why I still put up with him, because
- 57:05Speaker 1: we don't have any children, and I earn all of
- 57:08Speaker 1: the money so I don't need him at all. I've
- 57:10Speaker 1: gone to counseling by myself a few times, and the
- 57:13Speaker 1: female therapist is bitter and single, and she told me
- 57:17Speaker 1: to stay with him because a good man is hard
- 57:19Speaker 1: to find. The last straw was the other night when
- 57:23Speaker 1: he'd been out drinking and came home and we had
- 57:25Speaker 1: sex all over the house and he didn't remember one
- 57:28Speaker 1: bit of it the next day. I think he has
- 57:31Speaker 1: multiple personalities, and it scares the mess out of me.
- 57:35Speaker 1: He may have had some kind of suppressed freak ups
- 57:38Speaker 1: inside him. Should I take him to counseling and try
- 57:43Speaker 1: to work it out? Or leave this foolishness before it
- 57:45Speaker 1: gets any worse? Please advise? Well, I mean, really and truly,
- 57:49Speaker 1: only you can answer that for yourself, but I will say,
- 57:52Speaker 1: this is some crazy mess, and I feel you because
- 57:55Speaker 1: no one really wants to be married to a drunk.
- 57:57Speaker 1: I don't know anybody that wants to be married to
- 57:59Speaker 1: a drunk right now, you don't really have a marriage.
- 58:03Speaker 1: He doesn't even remember what he did while he was drunk.
- 58:08Speaker 1: But you can't deny that you do love having sex
- 58:11Speaker 1: with him, because every time he's in the mood drunk
- 58:13Speaker 1: or whatever, you're right there, all over the house with them.
- 58:17Speaker 1: But then again, it's confusing because you're willing to work
- 58:21Speaker 1: on your marriage. You want to go to counsel You've
- 58:23Speaker 1: sought out counseling on your own. You don't, but then
- 58:25Speaker 1: you're scared of him. Which one is it? I mean,
- 58:29Speaker 1: this is a lot going on. You say you don't
- 58:31Speaker 1: need him, but you know the drinking is definitely the culprit.
- 58:36Speaker 1: Here I suggest getting help with that first. If he'll go,
- 58:40Speaker 1: then you can decide whether you want to stay in
- 58:42Speaker 1: this crazy marriage. Steve, it's so many flips in this letter,
- 58:51Speaker 1: and a real quick too. It was hard to read
- 58:54Speaker 1: this letter because you kept changing and I tried to
- 58:57Speaker 1: stay with you, but you lost me about seven times.
- 59:01Speaker 1: So here we go. I married my college sweetheart and
- 59:06Speaker 1: we've had our ups and downs, but cheating was never
- 59:10Speaker 1: an issue in our marriage. Ready, now I'm thinking about
- 59:15Speaker 1: stepping out on my husband and seven years? What where
- 59:19Speaker 1: did that come from? It's just such a quick flimp.
- 59:22Speaker 1: What what happened? College sweetheart? We've had our ups and downs,
- 59:26Speaker 1: but cheating was never an issue that marriage. Now I'm
- 59:29Speaker 1: thinking about stepping out on my husband seven years? What Okay,
- 59:33Speaker 1: let's flip right back. He's a great guy and everybody
- 59:37Speaker 1: loves him when he's not drinking. When he gets that
- 59:42Speaker 1: te quel in this system, he becomes an actor, singer,
- 59:46Speaker 1: and pawn star. I mean, he's really at his best
- 59:49Speaker 1: in bed if he's been drinking all night. It's like
- 59:53Speaker 1: his kryptonite. No, lady, the kryptonite that's not Krypto Nite
- 59:57Speaker 1: used to take Superman's powers. I'm so confused in this. Damn.
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: When we get back, we finished this headache right after this,
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: all right, the strawberry letter subject, He's a lot different
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: after a few drinks. We'll be back at twenty three
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: minutes after. Right after this, you're listening morning show. All right,
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter subject. He's
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: a lot different after a few drinks. Y'all. This letter
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: so confusing because she just go back and forth. I
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: can't keep up. I don't know what I'm gonna tell
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: this woman, but let's just see if we can find
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: out what the story is better. All Right, I got
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: married to my college sweetheart. We've had our ups and downs,
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: but cheating has never been an issue in our marriage. Now,
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: I'm thinking about stepping out on my husband a seven years.
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: What where did that come from? Okay, you ready for
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: another flip. He's a great guy and everybody loves him.
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: Ready for the next flip. When he's not drinking, when
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: he gets at the keeling this system, he becomes an actor, singer,
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: and a pawn star. I mean he's really at his
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: best in bed if he's been drinking all night. It's
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: like his Crypto Knite. No, see, lady, Crypto Knite used
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: to take Superman's powers when he drank to kill it.
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: It give him power here, pawnstar, actors, singer, I need
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: you learn your superheroes or something. You got me confused.
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: The only issue with that is dealing with all the
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: other stuff that comes with it, like cussing me out
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: and talking real nasty and dirty the whole time. He's
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: even called me someone else's name. Now that are end
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: the marriage right there? That she said no, I'll let
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: it slide because he was really bringing it that night.
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: You can call your girl somebody else's name as long
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: as you bringing it that night. Fellus. Fellers, don't listen
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: to this is to get you in court. He doesn't
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: remember anything the next day, and recently he told me
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: that we haven't had sex in a long time. I
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: agree with him. Now here's another ready ready for this.
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: I agree with him because I can't stand him when
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: he's drunk all sober. Damn, Wait a minute, you can't
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: stand him when he's drunk all sober. I'm so confused
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: because you said he's a great guy and everybody loves
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: him when he's not drinking, everybody except you, because you
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: don't give a damn about him if he drinking all sober.
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: There's another's flip. I've started sleeping in the other room
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: so I can get peace from his snoring, and I
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: go back and get into bed with him the next morning.
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: What why, what are you doing? You're driving yourself crazy?
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: All right, here go. I'm not sure why I still
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: put up with him. That's gonna come back later in
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: the letter. Remember that, because we don't have any children,
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: I earned all the money, so I don't need him
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: at all. I've gone to counseling by myself a few times.
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: That's another problem. You ain't in that solving no damn
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: problems in counseling by yourself, and the female therapist is
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: bitter and single, and she told me to stay with
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: him because a good man is hard to find. Well,
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: the problem is he don't sound like a good man
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: because you can't stand it when he's sober or drunk.
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: I don't get this letter right here, but here we go, though,
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: you ready. The last straw was the other night when
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: he'd been out drinking. He came home and we had
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: sex all over the house, and he didn't remember one
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: bit of it the next day. Now let's go back
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: to this line where you said, I'm not sure why
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: I still put up with him. Now let's go back
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: to this line he came home and we had sex
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: all over the house. I think I found the reason
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: why you still put up with him. I found the
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: reason why you can't stand him while he drunk or sober. See,
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: I'm not sure why I still put up with him.
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: It's because after he drinks you got superman. But you
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: say you can't standing when he drunk or sober. But
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: when he drunk, here he come, and this is depart
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: you enjoy. He's magnificent anyway. I think he has multiple personalities,
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: and it scares the mess out of me. He may
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: have some kind of suppressed freak up inside of him.
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: Should I take him to counsel and try to work
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: it out or have this foolishness or end this foolishness
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: because it gets any worse? Please advise up. Let me
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: explain to you what I think. I think if you
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: take this man to counsel with that single counselor you
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: got that's bitter at telling you to stay with a
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: good man, I think you go find to take him
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: in there and introduce him to his new wife. Excuse
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: because as soon as she find out what he do
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: after he get drunk. Miss lonely bitter therapist is fitting
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: to solve one of her biggest problems. She fights, chafing
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: to not be single or bitter no more. She fend
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: to take this little alcoholic and get to having sex
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: all over their house. There is no solution for this
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: problem you have him. Should I divorce him and get
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: rid of this? Miss Yes? Because you ain't gonna be
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: able to fix this, and you can't stand him when
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: he's drunk or sober. That marriage needs to end. I
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: had a woman tell me I can't stand you when
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: you're gone or hill. Leave us your comments on today's

- 1:07:53Speaker 1: I got to go with Philly on this one, man, Philly,
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: no way, hold up? Hold up Philly? All right? Forty
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: nine versus the Bears on No. Forty nine? Is they
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: got some trouble up in Chicago. They're playing that young
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: boy wrong? Oh man. The Los Angeles Rams versus the Texans.
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: Next the falconst Kansas Kansas City versus the Falcons. No, no,

- 1:08:34Speaker 1: Russell Wilson still out. I think he's still out. So
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: I'm gonna have to go Jaguars now. I don't care
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: who out. They're playing good Seahawks Patriots versus the Charges.
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: No charges, And isn't that they should have never let
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: Brady go bucking Neis versus the Saints, Old Ladies and Gentlemen.
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: The upset game of the week. Saints over Tampa Bay

- 1:12:31Speaker 1: gonna go back in the past. And I haven't met

- 1:12:37Speaker 1: not married, I got all my money. Hell yeah, pass
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: take me. I'm going to the future, a fine blue woman.
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: I didn't do well in the past, so I'm gonna
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: have to pick the future. All my clothes in the
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: yard didn't feel good, so I'm not going back to that.
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: Would you rather cuddle in the morning or you rather
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: cuddle at night? Let's see at night. I need you
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: to get over there. I need I need my space.

- 1:13:37Speaker 1: your head with the breath I got in the morning.
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: I breathe on the back of your head, and you
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: have an alapcia and a patch of your head. My
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: breath produces hala halapia on your scout. If I breathe
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: on the back of your dead what is that sizzling
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: coming up your head? I'm so sorry, I pressing your half.
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: You don't know what is that right there? What are
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: you cooking? I'm not cooking. I'm breathing head. I can't
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: believe you worked the word. Okay, that was that was
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: all into the joke repertoire. I was deep in there,
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: all right, Thanks guys. Coming up, we'll have more of
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show with twenty minutes after. Right
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: An Italian man under house arrest recently discovered that getting
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: to service sentence at home instead of jail is not
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: all it's cracked up to be. He's a thirty year
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: old man he was serving multiple years for drug offenses,
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: left us home, walked into the police station and begged
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: the police to put him back in jail. He says,
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: because he couldn't stand to be stuck at home with
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: his wife. I knew it. I knew it. I knew it.
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: I knew its terrible. I knew he was male. I
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: read a room with Danny. Let me get the man
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: told him that my domestic life has become hell, and
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: I can't do it anymore. I want to go to jail.
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: That's hell at her. Yeah, that's wow. I feel for him.
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: He catching it bad. You you go down to the station.
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: That happened to a lot of people doing COVID too. Yeah,
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: I found out, Yeah, COVID. Let you know something I
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: actually had. I actually had a good time doing COVID
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: with lunch. We had. We had some fun. Man. I
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: discovered that I really really liked her. That's the key,
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: Like I love it, that's for sure. But I really
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: liked her a lot. We're a good time. I'm doing COVID.
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: I don't want to go back to that prison though. Yeah.
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: Over the house now, I opened that another marriage. Yeah,

- 1:18:25Speaker 1: that ain't one thing. I've never didn't have a big
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: jacket in a paper bag, because that's not only hell
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: I ever was for Halloween. Never ass jacket and a
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: sheet and they get some damn candy, that's all. I
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: never had them. Nothing. You don't really like Halloween. I
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: can't take. I can't stand. I always put a sign
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: in my yard every year. I'm gonna die, Betty, if
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: I can't have candidate neither. Can you try to? That's
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: terrible for the kids. Just get it for the kids.
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: Just Tasha to Natasha, your baby. You know we have
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: a big Halloween party every year. She gotta be into
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: Halloween because she go to school with white kids. Yeah,
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: we'll have a house full of teenagers at my house
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: every year. Every year. Halloween. Harky, all right, Happy Halloween.
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: Coming up next. It is our last break of the day,
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: and at forty nine minutes after we'll have some closing
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: remarks from the one and only Steve Harvey. Right after this,
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: you're listening to Morning Show. All right, guys, Here we
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: are our last break of the day and of the
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: week on this Friday. Yes, Friday, girl, we made we made? Lord,
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: Oh Lord, here Friday. Amen. All right, So Steve, some
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: encouraging words, enlightning words, you and your closing remarks. You
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: don't want to talk to everybody today about oh hardships
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: and pressure, trials, tribulations, setbacks and the reason I'm choosing
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: a subject, And I don't want you to take it
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: in a negative way, even though I've mentioned something that
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: it's unpleasant for everybody to deal with or sometimes even
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: talk about. I want to talk to you about pressure
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: and things of this nature because it's something we all
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: have to go through. And I know some people are
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: oh lord, oh why me, Oh God. It's not why you,
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: it's everybody. It's everybody that goes through it. And I
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: want to explain something to you about it. When God
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: gives you a dream, when God places a dream inside
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: of you, when you have these dreams, these dreams in
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: the form of your imagination are times, and that's just
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: God showing you a preview of a coming attraction that
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: he has for you. That's what your dreams of imagination is.
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: Albert Einstein had a quote that says, imagination is everything.
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: It's a preview to life's coming attraction. When God places
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: these dreams and things in your imagination, it's God's way
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: of showing you what's possible. It's God's way of showing
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: you the real the real life that He has for you. See,
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: no matter what your life is, we oftentimes dream of
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: other things. Pretty sure. I met Beyonce when she was
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: fourteen years old. I met her father and they used
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: to perform at this comedy club called the Hip Hop
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: Comedy Stop in Houston, and he used to bring him
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: down there to get him in front of some grown
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: ups and perform and they were good, you know, fourteen
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: years old. But I wanted to go here because I'm
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: not here trying to earn a living. I ain't got
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: time for this right here. I gotta get on the
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: stage because I'm practicing the craft. But they were two,
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: but I'm pretty sure back that was their dream and
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: their vision, and God showed it to him and they
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: became Destiny's Child, one of the top female groups of
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: all time. And she went solo, and Kelly went solo,
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: and Michelle went solo. She's in gospel music and Kelly's
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: doing her thing. Beautiful girl, great career, and Beyonce is Beyonce.
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: But when God places these dreams and things in your imagination,
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: all of this is going to be tested, and the
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: test are necessary. These hardships, set backs, trials, tribulations, the
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: stuff I told you we were going to talk about.
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: That's what we're talking about right now, because all of
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: these things are necessary because when you have a dream
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: and imagination, it now has to be tested and it
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: comes in the form of pressure. The pressure is not
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: designed to crush you. Listen to me now, the pressure
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: that's on you, the test that's being put in front
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: of you, the trials and tribulations, they are not put
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: in front of you to crush you. This pressure is
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: put on you so that it forces you to dig
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: deep down within you so the real you that's in
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: you can come out. Pressure is designed to push who
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: you need to be in the pursuit of this dream
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: and this imagination, push it out. Pressure is designed to
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: go inside of you so you can discover who you
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: really are, because you won't know who you really are
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: until you've been tested. You really won't know who your
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: friends are until they've been put to the test. Qu're
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: calling people your friends unless if they ain't never been tested,
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: because when the test come, you're gonna find out. It's
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: the test. The dream will always be tested. The pressure
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: in your life right now has a purpose. It's not
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: to crush you. It's pushing what's on the inside of
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: you out because it is designed to show you who
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: you are. That's what it's for. You've got to learn
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: to embrace these moments because these moments of trial, tribulation, pressure, disappointment, setbacks.
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: It's designed to bring out the real you. We friend
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: to find out who who up in here. That's why
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: when you go out for a football team, they have
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: a try, they have a training camp, because guess what,
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: the football team gonna put you under some pressure. They're
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: gonna line you up against the dude that won't your job,
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: and they're gonna holler snap, and we're gonna see what
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: you got. They're gonna run you through drills, they send
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: you to a combine. They put you under pressure so
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: you can dig on the inside, so we can see
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: who we got. Don't trip when you fall on hard times.
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: Don't trip when you under pressure. Don't trip when you
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: have a setback. Don't trip when you have trials and tribulations,
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: because all this is designed to find out who you
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: really are. And the more you show God who you
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: really are, the more you discover within yourself who you
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: really are, the stronger you become, the closer you get
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: to the dream. I embrace pressure. I accept it as
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: a way of life. Bring it because I know who
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: I am. I belong to the God most high. I'm
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: on fire with that. I know that about me. There's
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: nothing more you can do to me. I'm good as
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: I've been tested, I've been pressurized. Those are my clothes removed.
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: I embrace the pressure. I invite you to do the same.
