- 0:01Speaker 1: Dea set out to arrest as many members of the
- 0:04Speaker 1: Mexico based Sinaloa cartel as possible. New England saw the
- 0:08Speaker 1: highest number of regional arrests at one seventy one, with
- 0:11Speaker 1: forty nine in Massachusetts, thirty three in New Hampshire. Connecticut
- 0:15Speaker 1: saw the most at sixty four.
- 0:17Speaker 2: You're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with Ben ferguson.
- 0:21Speaker 3: Good Friday morning. It's nice to have you with us
- 0:23Speaker 3: on the forty seven Morning Update. We've got one major
- 0:26Speaker 3: story coming out of the White House, and that is this.
- 0:29Speaker 3: More than one hundred and seventy sinelo At cartel members
- 0:34Speaker 3: have been arrested, not at the southern border, but in
- 0:38Speaker 3: New England with countless fetnyl pills that could kill tens
- 0:44Speaker 3: of thousands of Americans. How did this happen? And how
- 0:48Speaker 3: big is the network? Apparently the Cineloa cartel is massive,
- 0:53Speaker 3: especially in democratic run cities and states. The President is
- 0:57Speaker 3: now cracking down on it big time. But before I
- 1:00Speaker 3: get to that, I want to talk to you about
- 1:02Speaker 3: my friends at kirk Elliott Precious Metals. Two days ago
- 1:07Speaker 3: I got my new order of silver. Now I'm investing
- 1:10Speaker 3: in silver right now because the pricing on it is
- 1:12Speaker 3: amazing and the upside well, it's real. I actually have
- 1:16Speaker 3: a one hundred ounce silver bar. It is actually really cool.
- 1:22Speaker 3: It's really heavy because it's one hundred ounces. But I
- 1:25Speaker 3: also know that I bought it at the right price
- 1:28Speaker 3: and I wasn't paying massive up charges on quote. Rare
- 1:32Speaker 3: are special coins, and then when you go to sell them,
- 1:35Speaker 3: you take away all of your earning potential. Why do
- 1:38Speaker 3: they do it this way at Kurt Elliott Because they
- 1:41Speaker 3: have transparent pricing up front. It's very simple. You pay
- 1:45Speaker 3: eight percent when you buy, and here's what matters to
- 1:48Speaker 3: you the most, nothing when you sell. There are no
- 1:53Speaker 3: hidden fees ever with Kurt Elliott Precious Metals. This is
- 1:57Speaker 3: the reason why I recommend them. It's not just about investing,

- 2:08Speaker 3: the time. Whether it's gold or silver, you can hold it,

- 2:55Speaker 3: PM dot com slash ben. You can also call them
- 2:59Speaker 3: seven two zero six oh five thirty nine hundred. That's
- 3:03Speaker 3: seven two zero six oh five thirty nine hundred. So
- 3:08Speaker 3: let's faithfully steward what God has given so you can
- 3:11Speaker 3: experience real peace now and for generations to come. KEPM
- 3:16Speaker 3: dot com slash Ben. It's the forty seven Morning Update
- 3:20Speaker 3: and it starts right now.
- 3:21Speaker 2: Story number one.
- 3:23Speaker 3: There is a big debate that is happening in this country,
- 3:25Speaker 3: and the debate is do you want law and order
- 3:28Speaker 3: or do you want anarchy and chaos. The Democratic Party
- 3:32Speaker 3: has made it clear they're on the side of the
- 3:34Speaker 3: criminal everywhere they can find them in this country, including
- 3:37Speaker 3: illegal immigrants. They also want you to believe that cities
- 3:41Speaker 3: are actually really safe when they are not. So the
- 3:43Speaker 3: question you have to ask is who are the American
- 3:47Speaker 3: people putting their trust in. Well, CNN had a very
- 3:52Speaker 3: interesting poll that just came out, and guess what it showed.
- 3:56Speaker 3: Americans are overwhelmingly preferring President Donald Trump's approach to crime
- 4:02Speaker 3: fighting over what they had with Joe Biden.
- 4:05Speaker 4: Okay, I think this sort of gives the game away
- 4:08Speaker 4: here because Donald Trump is like Air Jordan, towering over
- 4:11Speaker 4: Joe Biden when it comes to their handling a crime.
- 4:13Speaker 4: Look in twenty twenty four, look at where Biden's net
- 4:16Speaker 4: approver was on crime, way on the water there at
- 4:19Speaker 4: minus twenty six points. It was one of Biden's whar issues. Granted,
- 4:22Speaker 4: pretty much every issue is one of Biden's wharre isshues.
- 4:24Speaker 4: And again, look at where Donald Trump is way, way,
- 4:28Speaker 4: way above Joe Biden.
- 4:30Speaker 3: What is that?
- 4:30Speaker 4: That's twenty seven points. So Americans vastly prefer Donald Trump's
- 4:35Speaker 4: approach to crime than they ditch to Joe Biden's. And again,
- 4:37Speaker 4: I think it gets back to the point that Americans
- 4:40Speaker 4: are far more hawkish on crime than a lot of
- 4:42Speaker 4: Democrats want to admit.
- 4:44Speaker 3: I love how they refer to Donald Trump as Michael Jordan.
- 4:47Speaker 3: He is just killing it when it comes to fighting crime,
- 4:51Speaker 3: and the American people are behind him. But if you
- 4:54Speaker 3: look at what the Democrats are doing right now, they're
- 4:57Speaker 3: doing everything they can to keep those that commit times
- 5:00Speaker 3: in this country. Mains Democratic Secretary of State is now
- 5:05Speaker 3: admitting non citizen residents are registered to vote in her state.
- 5:12Speaker 3: Blatant disregard for the law is how it is being
- 5:15Speaker 3: described by GOP lawmakers in Maine after the Democrats, Yes,
- 5:20Speaker 3: all right, fine, we admit it. Non citizens are registered
- 5:24Speaker 3: to vote and are voting in our state. Which brings
- 5:29Speaker 3: us to another big story. There is a myth that
- 5:33Speaker 3: there's only major cartel activity at our southern border border
- 5:38Speaker 3: states and it's not really anywhere else. That is what
- 5:42Speaker 3: the media has been saying, and that's what Democrats have
- 5:45Speaker 3: been saying, and they also want you to believe that's,
- 5:47Speaker 3: you know, not that bad. Well, if you want to
- 5:50Speaker 3: know how big the network is a criminal activity, look
- 5:54Speaker 3: at the newest data that's just come out. One hundred
- 5:57Speaker 3: and seventy one cartel members have been arrested in New England.
- 6:05Speaker 3: That's pretty darn far from the southern border. The Drug
- 6:08Speaker 3: Enforcement Administration you know them as the DA in New
- 6:13Speaker 3: England say that they arrested more than one hundred and
- 6:15Speaker 3: seventy members of the Cineloa drug cartel during a recent
- 6:18Speaker 3: crackdown operation. The arrests led to the seizure of more
- 6:23Speaker 3: than twenty two thousand counterfeit pills, fetnyl powder, and packaging
- 6:30Speaker 3: branded with the Cineloa cartel logo. The DEA Special Agent
- 6:36Speaker 3: in charge for the New England Field Division said to
- 6:39Speaker 3: twenty five News in Boston that the Cineloa cartel is
- 6:43Speaker 3: public Enemy number one in England. The DA agent also
- 6:48Speaker 3: told the local news outlet that during a week long
- 6:51Speaker 3: nationwide crackdown, one hundred and seventy one cartel members were
- 6:54Speaker 3: arrested in New England area alone, a number they say
- 6:58Speaker 3: is truly shocking. Why are you not hearing about this
- 7:02Speaker 3: story on the national news. That is the question that
- 7:06Speaker 3: everyone should be asking, And there's a very good answer
- 7:09Speaker 3: to it, because if they tell you that the cartels
- 7:12Speaker 3: are controlling New England, then you realize it's not actually
- 7:16Speaker 3: a border issue anymore. I want you to take a
- 7:18Speaker 3: listen to the local news and what they said to
- 7:22Speaker 3: their citizens about just how bad the cartel movement is
- 7:27Speaker 3: in Boston and the surrounding area.
- 7:30Speaker 1: The Federal Drug Enforcement Administration says a week long cartel
- 7:34Speaker 1: crackdown led to nearly two hundred arrests just in New England.
- 7:37Speaker 1: The DEA says they were all members of the Sineloa cartel,
- 7:41Speaker 1: the largest drug cartel in the world. Twenty five investigates
- 7:44Speaker 1: went one on one with the DEA special Agent in
- 7:47Speaker 1: charge about their recent operation. He says the vast Siniloa
- 7:51Speaker 1: network has deep roots in New England.
- 7:53Speaker 5: There are public Enemy number one.
- 7:55Speaker 1: Jared Fourge, the Special Agent in charge of DEA's New
- 7:58Speaker 1: England Field Division, says last week the DEA set out
- 8:01Speaker 1: to arrest as many members of the Mexico based Sinaloa
- 8:05Speaker 1: cartel as possible. New England saw the highest number of
- 8:09Speaker 1: regional arrests at one seventy one, with forty nine in Massachusetts,
- 8:13Speaker 1: thirty three in New Hampshire. Connecticut saw the most at
- 8:16Speaker 1: sixty four. Do you think people would be surprised to
- 8:19Speaker 1: learn how many members of that cartel are operating, probably
- 8:24Speaker 1: in plain sight, in their communities.
- 8:26Speaker 5: Sure so. Sineloa cartel in every single state across America,
- 8:31Speaker 5: more than forty countries around the world, and obviously they're
- 8:33Speaker 5: at every state throughout New England.
- 8:35Speaker 1: What's their number one product they push? Is it the pills?
- 8:39Speaker 5: So we see fetanol powder, and we see counterfeit pills,
- 8:41Speaker 5: pills that are made to look like legitimate pills, notably
- 8:46Speaker 5: M thirty s M.
- 8:47Speaker 1: Thirty pills or counterfeit oxy codone. But Forget says they're
- 8:51Speaker 1: also increasingly seeing counterfeit stimulant pills made to look like adderall.
- 8:57Speaker 1: Bourge showed us some of the more than twenty two
- 8:59Speaker 1: thousand pills and other drug sees during the operation, like
- 9:03Speaker 1: signature purple fentanel and some drug packaging, even displaying the
- 9:07Speaker 1: Sineloa cartel stamp.
- 9:09Speaker 5: I'm a DEA agent. I cannot tell the difference between
- 9:12Speaker 5: a fake one and a real one. So we need
- 9:14Speaker 5: to remind parents, schools, caregivers, everybody in the community have
- 9:19Speaker 5: those conversations with each other.
- 9:21Speaker 1: Have them with your kids, Forge says. The cartel targets
- 9:24Speaker 1: unsuspecting young people online through common social media apps. Many
- 9:28Speaker 1: have no idea they're buying potentially deadly counterfeit pills. One
- 9:32Speaker 1: hundred and seventy one arrests throughout New England. Does that
- 9:36Speaker 1: make a dent.
- 9:37Speaker 5: Where the dea We're not going after low level retail
- 9:40Speaker 5: drug traffickers. We are going after drug trafficking organizations, the networks.
- 9:45Speaker 1: How do you disrupt that something that is so large,
- 9:48Speaker 1: so vast, and seemingly so powerful.
- 9:51Speaker 5: Right, it's an ongoing battle, one that we cannot we
- 9:53Speaker 5: can't afford to give up. Right, it's the Cinelo cartel
- 9:57Speaker 5: is a threat to public safety, our public health, and
- 10:01Speaker 5: our national security as a country.
- 10:03Speaker 1: This year, the Centers for Disease Control reported, while drug
- 10:06Speaker 1: overdose deaths are declining, overdose is the leading cause of
- 10:10Speaker 1: death for young people ages eighteen to forty five.
- 10:14Speaker 3: You notice one of the really important things that was
- 10:16Speaker 3: said there by the DEA. They said the cartels are everywhere.
- 10:21Speaker 3: Not only did he say that, but he said, I'm
- 10:23Speaker 3: a DEA agent. I cannot tell the difference between an
- 10:28Speaker 3: actual pill and a counterfeit pill that can take your
- 10:31Speaker 3: life with fetanol. He also talked about the other warning
- 10:36Speaker 3: about stimulants. Many kids will use riddling and adderall and
- 10:41Speaker 3: actually use it because they're trying to study things like
- 10:45Speaker 3: that in college. Every year turned deadly when they buy
- 10:48Speaker 3: what they think is an actual prescription pill and in
- 10:51Speaker 3: reality it is from the cartel. They don't care if
- 10:55Speaker 3: you die. They just need you to buy the product
- 10:58Speaker 3: and move it quickly, which brings us back to the
- 11:01Speaker 3: other basic issue. There are two different sides of this story.
- 11:06Speaker 3: Now you're either on the side of holding those accountable
- 11:09Speaker 3: that are doing this and going after them. The presidents
- 11:12Speaker 3: made it clear that's what he's doing, and now the
- 11:15Speaker 3: American people are saying very clearly that what they want
- 11:20Speaker 3: is for Donald Trump to continue doing this. There are
- 11:24Speaker 3: other states they're doing everything they can to say, we're
- 11:27Speaker 3: not going to get involved. We're not going to give
- 11:31Speaker 3: in to President Trump wanting law and order. We are
- 11:34Speaker 3: going to fight you at every step of the way.
- 11:38Speaker 3: One example of that is Adam Schiff on if the
- 11:42Speaker 3: drop in DC crime after the Fed serge should be celebrated.
- 11:46Speaker 3: You know what his response was, I can't analyze DC's numbers,
- 11:51Speaker 3: but guard in LA was bad. Yes, So even when
- 11:57Speaker 3: the numbers drop the Democratic Party he refuses to admit
- 12:01Speaker 3: it's an actual good thing for the country.
- 12:04Speaker 6: All right. So trumple me as referred to himself as
- 12:07Speaker 6: the chief law enforcement officer of the country right as
- 12:09Speaker 6: opposed to commander in chief right, a nuance that matters.
- 12:12Speaker 6: But he says Senator. As you know, he says this
- 12:15Speaker 6: is about combating crime, and he says it's working in Washington,
- 12:18Speaker 6: d C. Where, of course you are tonight. So when
- 12:20Speaker 6: you look at the numbers there though, this is according
- 12:23Speaker 6: to Washington, d C's official database last week. I know
- 12:26Speaker 6: you're familiar with these numbers, but here they are. If
- 12:28Speaker 6: forty four percent decrease in violent crime in the three
- 12:32Speaker 6: weeks since the federal surge, right compared to the same
- 12:36Speaker 6: period a year ago, that includes a forty four percent
- 12:39Speaker 6: drop in homicides compared at the same time last year.
- 12:43Speaker 6: So I mean, if that is the outcome of what
- 12:46Speaker 6: he's doing, is that something to actually celebrate.
- 12:51Speaker 7: Well, I don't think I can analyze what DC's crime
- 12:54Speaker 7: numbers were, but I can't say this about Los Angeles
- 12:57Speaker 7: and the deployment of troops there. First of all, it
- 12:59Speaker 7: was completely unnecessary.
- 13:02Speaker 3: Notice the massive jump there. He doesn't want to talk
- 13:07Speaker 3: about what worked in Washington, D C. Because he knows
- 13:10Speaker 3: the city where he's speaking from is safer now that
- 13:14Speaker 3: it's been in years. So he decides to go to
- 13:17Speaker 3: La instead. Adam shift an individual who sang, I would
- 13:23Speaker 3: rather hate on Donald Trump than protect American citizens, and
- 13:28Speaker 3: when asked a simple question about, hey, the data shows
- 13:31Speaker 3: it's working, he refuses to even accept it and moves on,
- 13:36Speaker 3: which is all encompassing of the Democratic Party, which brings
- 13:39Speaker 3: us back to my original point. There are two sides
- 13:42Speaker 3: to this story, and the American people seem to be
- 13:45Speaker 3: overwhelmingly on the side of what Donald Trump is doing
- 13:50Speaker 3: to fight crime Coast to coast.
