- 2:05Speaker 1: listening to the voice, come on dig me now, one
- 2:08Speaker 1: and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Man, If
- 2:13Speaker 1: if I had time enough to tell the whole trip,
- 2:16Speaker 1: the whole journey, and y'all would be sitting up in
- 2:19Speaker 1: there going okay to Steve, are we gonna play the
- 2:22Speaker 1: show this week? But man, it's been a lot of
- 2:26Speaker 1: amazing things has happened to me over the years, and
- 2:32Speaker 1: not all of them good. It's been some amazingly bad
- 2:36Speaker 1: things that have happened too. But I just come on
- 2:40Speaker 1: in the morning as a reminder to everybody of the
- 2:44Speaker 1: actual goodness of God that you know, man, that these
- 2:47Speaker 1: mistakes that you're making, that these setbacks that you keep
- 2:51Speaker 1: having that these falls that keep occurring in your life,
- 2:57Speaker 1: that they all are leading you somewhere. If you just
- 3:00Speaker 1: don't ever give up. That's the key. You can never
- 3:04Speaker 1: ever give up because you don't know how the trip
- 3:09Speaker 1: has been laid out for you. You know, if somebody
- 3:12Speaker 1: had told me years ago when I had the dream
- 3:16Speaker 1: of being on TV and then I thought about being
- 3:20Speaker 1: one of one of the best comedians I could be,
- 3:23Speaker 1: you know, when I when I started, somebody had told
- 3:26Speaker 1: me everything that was gonna have to happen in order
- 3:31Speaker 1: for me to get there, I would have changed it.
- 3:34Speaker 1: I would have I would have said, Okay, well I
- 3:37Speaker 1: ain't gonna be that. How about this? See and no
- 3:41Speaker 1: one can know all of the events of their life
- 3:44Speaker 1: ahead of time. You know, it'd be so nice, wouldn't it.
- 3:47Speaker 1: You know, to prepare for it, see it coming, be
- 3:51Speaker 1: aware of the haters, always knowing when the backstabbing moment
- 3:56Speaker 1: is coming in your life, always knowing when you're go
- 4:00Speaker 1: get blindsided by the enemy. We are really great to
- 4:03Speaker 1: know that, wouldn't it. Well, that's not how it works.
- 4:06Speaker 1: So since no one knows exactly the challenges and the
- 4:13Speaker 1: pitfalls and the detools that's going to be set them.
- 4:17Speaker 1: It's it's it's imperative that you just don't give up
- 4:21Speaker 1: because see, knowing these things, we as human beings by nature,
- 4:28Speaker 1: would choose another route. But it ain't the route God
- 4:32Speaker 1: God for you, though, See the route God God for you.
- 4:35Speaker 1: If you if you're trying to do the right thing,
- 4:38Speaker 1: if you're doing the best you can, if you ain't
- 4:41Speaker 1: out here just intentionally just messing over, folks. If you
- 4:45Speaker 1: use in faith and that's the belief in things that
- 4:48Speaker 1: you cannot see, If you have something on the inside
- 4:51Speaker 1: of you to keep saying there's got to be more
- 4:53Speaker 1: to life than that, then that's that's you. You, my friend,
- 4:58Speaker 1: have a great chance here. And if you've ever had
- 5:01Speaker 1: that feeling then gave up on it, just get it back,
- 5:05Speaker 1: just ask for it back, Just say, hey man, I'm
- 5:08Speaker 1: getting back to the way I used to be because
- 5:11Speaker 1: there's a change that's available in your life. But you
- 5:14Speaker 1: gotta take it. You gotta take a shot at it. Folks.
- 5:17Speaker 1: There's a chance for you to get it right, but
- 5:20Speaker 1: you gotta take a shot at it. Folks. There's a
- 5:22Speaker 1: chance for you to turn this whole thing around with
- 5:25Speaker 1: God's help, but you gotta take a shot at it.
- 5:29Speaker 1: You see, this decision is yours. The decision to lay
- 5:33Speaker 1: down and give up, that's yours. It ain't. It just
- 5:35Speaker 1: got too hard for me. Life too much, man, life
- 5:39Speaker 1: hard and too much for everybody. What I gotta get
- 5:42Speaker 1: you to See, my father used to always tell me,
- 5:45Speaker 1: He says, son, best lessons in life to burn your
- 5:48Speaker 1: value and learn the most is a bout lesson. I
- 5:51Speaker 1: didn't quite understand that being young, but I showed God
- 5:54Speaker 1: it Now ain't no lesson like a bout lesson. The
- 5:58Speaker 1: one you pay for. Those are the ones that hold
- 6:01Speaker 1: to you, that stick to you, that that that started
- 6:04Speaker 1: turning you into who you're gonna be. Those are the
- 6:07Speaker 1: character builders. See, you got to be forged to get
- 6:11Speaker 1: to where you want to go in life. So that's
- 6:13Speaker 1: what the challenges and missteps is for. That's what the
- 6:16Speaker 1: failing is about. Now, I know you don't like it.
- 6:19Speaker 1: I didn't. I know you're not comfortable with I wouldn't.
- 6:23Speaker 1: I know you wish it was over sooner than later.
- 6:25Speaker 1: I always do. I always wanted to be over sooner
- 6:29Speaker 1: than later, because the later manager seems like it's so
- 6:33Speaker 1: much I gotta go through. But let me tell you something, man,
- 6:37Speaker 1: if you can, if you can forge your way through
- 6:40Speaker 1: it and understand that you are forged in life. I
- 6:43Speaker 1: don't know. I was on TBN one time when I
- 6:47Speaker 1: was doing one of my motivational speeches, and I began
- 6:51Speaker 1: to wonder about this experience I had. It Ford Motor
- 6:55Speaker 1: Company and my last job after the auto industry started
- 6:59Speaker 1: going down, my last job was in the fountry and
- 7:03Speaker 1: my job was to stand at the end almost where
- 7:08Speaker 1: the engines first come out of the furnace. See, the
- 7:12Speaker 1: engines are poured into a mold's hot melted down metal
- 7:16Speaker 1: whatever they call it, lava or whatever. They poured into
- 7:19Speaker 1: a mole and it goes into this furnace that's extremely hot.
- 7:24Speaker 1: And my job was after the heat was applied to
- 7:28Speaker 1: the engine block, it would come through and it would
- 7:33Speaker 1: go through a hardening stage. With the way it was hardening,
- 7:35Speaker 1: they would cool it. Suddenly they would flush it with water.
- 7:39Speaker 1: It was just blast water on it. But the fire
- 7:43Speaker 1: and the high temperature is what made the engine block solidified.
- 7:49Speaker 1: It's because it's gotta get real hot, get melted down first.
- 7:52Speaker 1: Then it's got to get poured into a mole. Then
- 7:55Speaker 1: it's gotta be pressure, hit with water and all of this,
- 7:59Speaker 1: and then it can and it's real hot. Now it's
- 8:01Speaker 1: still hot even though its water been shutter. But when
- 8:04Speaker 1: it comes out the end of the side, there's a
- 8:07Speaker 1: lot of flashing in it, and flashing is a metal
- 8:09Speaker 1: from that din dripped through the cast molding on it,
- 8:13Speaker 1: just like flecks of extra pieces of metal. My job
- 8:17Speaker 1: was to hit this engine block in the front, which
- 8:21Speaker 1: is huge, heavy rubber mallet, knock all the flashing off
- 8:26Speaker 1: the front, and when it came around back to bam,
- 8:30Speaker 1: hit it real hard again on the backside. And that
- 8:34Speaker 1: became the core of what the car is. A car
- 8:38Speaker 1: without a great engine is nothing. It's just a pretty
- 8:41Speaker 1: looking vehicle over there. But if it can't do what
- 8:44Speaker 1: it was made to do because the engine block then cracked.
- 8:47Speaker 1: So you can have a car look real good, but
- 8:49Speaker 1: if it freezes, an engine block crack your car, you
- 8:52Speaker 1: can it's over man. You gotta get a new block.
- 8:55Speaker 1: The block is the core. But in order for you
- 8:58Speaker 1: for the car to do what it's got to do,
- 9:00Speaker 1: gotta have a strong engine in it. In order for
- 9:02Speaker 1: the engine to be strong, it's got to be forged
- 9:04Speaker 1: and stell come through fire, get poured in a mole,
- 9:08Speaker 1: cooled off, heated, knocked around, beat on the front end,
- 9:12Speaker 1: beat on the back end, in order for it to
- 9:14Speaker 1: be what it's gonna be. The moral of the story, folks,
- 9:17Speaker 1: is you got to get forged in fire to be
- 9:21Speaker 1: what you gonna be. You got to get beat up,
- 9:24Speaker 1: you got to get pressure washed, you got to have
- 9:27Speaker 1: heat on you, you you gotta get melted down, you gotta
- 9:29Speaker 1: get poured into a mole. That's how you become who
- 9:33Speaker 1: you are. So the tough things that you're going through,
- 9:35Speaker 1: the difficult challenges and the setbacks. I know a brother
- 9:39Speaker 1: who went to prison, man, And the whole reason he
- 9:42Speaker 1: ended up going to prison because he was looking out
- 9:44Speaker 1: the looting window, looking out in the yard at him
- 9:46Speaker 1: working out. And then the next thing, you know, man,
- 9:49Speaker 1: this brother decided that he was gonna go out there
- 9:51Speaker 1: and work out. Well, guess what, he's one of the
- 9:54Speaker 1: top trainers in country. Today. You're listening show, ladies, gentlemen,

- 10:43Speaker 1: in the palace who is an illegitimate son of Charles
- 10:49Speaker 1: the old Dude, and he's been back there in the
- 10:52Speaker 1: palace and no one knows that, but he agreed to
- 10:55Speaker 1: keep the news quiet. He will be here this morning,
- 10:59Speaker 1: welcoming everybody to the show. Ladies and gentlemen from Buckingham Palace.

- 11:54Speaker 1: Good month? In the words of you negroes there everything
- 11:58Speaker 1: is everything and now the palace jesture the king of
- 12:09Speaker 1: fooleriss ignorance. Then I feel comic. Yes, yes, Hello, dude, Hello, jive, please,
- 12:18Speaker 1: thank you morning everyone, we are here. Any question from
- 12:22Speaker 1: me before we let go and bring Steve back? Oh, duke, well,
- 12:27Speaker 1: how is the palace man? How is things going on
- 12:30Speaker 1: over there? Palace is wonderful. I do say that I
- 12:33Speaker 1: missed Megan terribly. I do. She was a wonderful guy,
- 12:38Speaker 1: absolutely wonderful, very soulful. I missed that I'm being the
- 12:42Speaker 1: only black steal now, of course were and I would
- 12:45Speaker 1: chit chat the kitchen sometimes she'd come in for change. Oh,
- 12:50Speaker 1: I just tell he's like, don't let these white folk
- 12:54Speaker 1: run you off. And she got him anyway. But I'm
- 12:58Speaker 1: here holding strong, the only African American, black British in
- 13:05Speaker 1: the palace. Thank you all, and now I'll turn this
- 13:08Speaker 1: over to Steven, and anytime y'all need me the rest
- 13:12Speaker 1: of the morning, please do let me know. Thank you,
- 13:16Speaker 1: thank you in the words of you all. Keep it
- 13:21Speaker 1: real today, all right, Steve, and welcome back. Coming up
- 13:30Speaker 1: at thirty two minutes after the hour, We're gonna talk
- 13:33Speaker 1: about the newest beef between two little bitty rappers. Wait
- 13:36Speaker 1: till you hear about this. It's it's kind of a
- 13:38Speaker 1: really cute beef and that's all. I'll tell you. We'll
- 13:41Speaker 1: be back right after this. You're listening. Before we get
- 13:47Speaker 1: to this next story, we have to send some heartfelt
- 13:51Speaker 1: prayers and condolences out to the people of Nashville and
- 13:55Speaker 1: the Nashville area. Nashville, Tennessee. Steve, it was hard hit
- 14:00Speaker 1: by a tornado. Um, and we're just sending our love
- 14:04Speaker 1: and our prayers out to our Nashville family. At one
- 14:07Speaker 1: on one point one, the beat out there. We're praying
- 14:11Speaker 1: for you. We love you. Yeah. Wow, you're in Kyrie.
- 14:17Speaker 1: Bad tornado. Yeah, I got to check on my man. Yeah. Man,
- 14:23Speaker 1: that's not good. Yeah, but our prayers and we'll keep
- 14:28Speaker 1: you updated on this story. Um. You know as news
- 14:30Speaker 1: comes in. Wow, Um, we're moving on now. We're going
- 14:36Speaker 1: to change gears here. Um. Kanye West U is in Paris.
- 14:42Speaker 1: You know how he got there. He may have parachuted
- 14:44Speaker 1: in Paris Fashion Week to debut his Yeasy Season eight
- 14:49Speaker 1: clothing line. You know, he's still doing his fashion thing.
- 14:52Speaker 1: But it was his daughter, Little Northwest who stole the show.
- 14:56Speaker 1: North is six years old. She appeared on the runway.
- 14:59Speaker 1: She's started rapping Kanye being the proud dad as he
- 15:04Speaker 1: that he is. You know, he watched from the sidelines,
- 15:07Speaker 1: but everyone was not a fan of North's rap. The
- 15:10Speaker 1: team behind Red Carpet Girls rappers Zaza, who is five
- 15:15Speaker 1: years old, Yeah yeah, she's five. They yeah, They claimed
- 15:21Speaker 1: that North's performance sounded a lot like Zaza's song What
- 15:25Speaker 1: I Do. Zaza's team took to her ig to call
- 15:29Speaker 1: out Northwest and the entire Kardashian West family for not
- 15:34Speaker 1: giving Zaza credit. Now, after Kim Kardashian West caught wend
- 15:38Speaker 1: of the backlash, she responded under Zaza's post to let
- 15:41Speaker 1: her know that it was all in love and mentioned
- 15:44Speaker 1: that she'd love for the girls to get together. So
- 15:48Speaker 1: we just, you know, have to hope that this little
- 15:50Speaker 1: rap beef is settled a minute, wait a minute, puts down. Yeah,
- 15:57Speaker 1: but I mean, come on, her dad is Kanye, Now,
- 16:00Speaker 1: come on, It's got in her blood. I mean, you know,
- 16:04Speaker 1: for Kim to squash it like that, ain't had no kids, yeah,
- 16:08Speaker 1: you know, yeah, so it's all I wouldn't even I
- 16:13Speaker 1: wouldn't even worry about that. Kim is smart enough, you know,
- 16:17Speaker 1: And so what if it sounds just like another song
- 16:20Speaker 1: she's six and the other little girl is five? What
- 16:25Speaker 1: they got. That's original. They six. Everything they're doing is
- 16:31Speaker 1: something they saw. They ain't thought of nothing. I know.
- 16:34Speaker 1: I remember when Kim posted on her ig North doing
- 16:38Speaker 1: Oldtime road Uh last year when that song was so hot.
- 16:42Speaker 1: So girl, I'm fin to release this new birth. Ain't
- 16:44Speaker 1: nobody doing this? Okay, go ahead and try. Yeah, let's
- 16:52Speaker 1: squash this immediately. Yeah. For them to even respond to
- 16:55Speaker 1: that sound a lot like without giving her credit. It
- 16:58Speaker 1: doesn't matter, it doesn't You're fine, your parents are rich,
- 17:06Speaker 1: You're fine. It's okay, good. You ain't even having regular problems.
- 17:14Speaker 1: You're not gonna have any. Now she's gonna have problems,
- 17:18Speaker 1: but they're not gonna be regular. All these clothes in here,
- 17:21Speaker 1: ain't got nowhere for this correct to go. Yeah, what
- 17:26Speaker 1: what you're It's funny you should say that, Steve, because
- 17:28Speaker 1: one of her problems. One of the problems that Kim
- 17:31Speaker 1: had with Little Northy was one day a North had
- 17:35Speaker 1: on this pink like snakeskin dress and she went in
- 17:39Speaker 1: Kim's closet and got her pink snakeskin heels. Now she
- 17:44Speaker 1: was fly, but Kim was like, under no circumstances are
- 17:48Speaker 1: you wearing my heels? You're I think she was five
- 17:51Speaker 1: at the time. Out she thought she was ready for
- 17:54Speaker 1: school because North is a little fashion East. It was
- 17:58Speaker 1: so cute. North was mad a little feelings were hurt.
- 18:02Speaker 1: But yeah, we really enjoying this conversation. This is so
- 18:05Speaker 1: good for us, you know, m y okay, you got
- 18:12Speaker 1: something else you want to add? Loving this conversation. As
- 18:17Speaker 1: Duke Earl about it, I don't know we're talking about
- 18:23Speaker 1: sht Oh god, Junior, Oh my god, I've been request that.
- 18:31Speaker 1: I love that, Joia, said Duke Earl of Arting. Having
- 18:36Speaker 1: here again to comment on something that I know little
- 18:39Speaker 1: to nothing about. I dast you say that the little
- 18:44Speaker 1: West girl, the lovely little girl, was accused of stealing
- 18:47Speaker 1: something by another child? Does that? Kan her? Rap? That
- 18:53Speaker 1: that's correct? Well, she stouted, what are you gonna do
- 18:56Speaker 1: about it? We're gonna whip her? Ask what are we
- 18:59Speaker 1: talking about that? Let's do it. That's right. Start a
- 19:04Speaker 1: childhood be that's how you want to raise your child?
- 19:08Speaker 1: Kills another girl. You're messing with the Kardashians and the West.
- 19:12Speaker 1: They have tremendous amounts of money. Oh my god, yes
- 19:17Speaker 1: they do. You don't want Kanye angry with you? Do you, hey, duke,
- 19:23Speaker 1: how would you like to live in Kanye West's house
- 19:26Speaker 1: and be a duke there? I had never thought of that. Well,
- 19:32Speaker 1: that Master Tommy, I might be still be a duke?
- 19:37Speaker 1: Could he still be a damn? I would be with
- 19:40Speaker 1: one of the sisters. Of course, any one of them
- 19:50Speaker 1: take it. It doesn't matter that they're taken. Take me, hell,
- 19:59Speaker 1: I want to be I want to be taken, just
- 20:04Speaker 1: like the movie Taking three. I want to have my
- 20:08Speaker 1: white father looking for me a very special set of skills. Yeah,
- 20:16Speaker 1: get him out of here, dude, can go go key.
- 20:21Speaker 1: I appreciate you breaking him out. And he tired. Now,
- 20:24Speaker 1: yeah you don't kick kick yo yo carecters in and out,
- 20:29Speaker 1: you got car. I just let him. He just gets tired,
- 20:33Speaker 1: get tired, just drop off. Yeah, yeah, my character. Everybody
- 20:37Speaker 1: knows me. Coming up next, the nephew in the building
- 20:42Speaker 1: would run that prank back right after this. You're listening
- 20:46Speaker 1: to show, all right? Coming up at the top of
- 20:51Speaker 1: the hour, miss Anne will be here with our national
- 20:53Speaker 1: news and then entertainment news. Two people are out of work.
- 20:57Speaker 1: That's a number one rapper, Flavor Flayve out of work.
- 21:00Speaker 1: I didn't know he was walking. Okay, we'll talk about
- 21:03Speaker 1: that is did Um and anchor you know him, Steve,
- 21:13Speaker 1: you know him Steve and MSNBC's anchor Chris Matthews. He's out.
- 21:19Speaker 1: We'll talk about it. Right now. It's time for the
- 21:22Speaker 1: nephew to run that prank back. What you got for
- 21:24Speaker 1: his nest? I got pecan tree? That's right. You can
- 21:27Speaker 1: say pecana, pecan. How you want to do it? Pecan tree.
- 21:31Speaker 1: Let's go cat. Hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach uh
- 21:37Speaker 1: LC hey, let me let me Hey. My name is Marcus.
- 21:41Speaker 1: Uh My mom and them little next dough to you,
- 21:44Speaker 1: uh mister and missus, my mom and daddy little next
- 21:47Speaker 1: dough to you. And I was calling because y'all got
- 21:50Speaker 1: a pecan tree in y'all backyard. I mean right on
- 21:54Speaker 1: the fence line, and it keeps, you know, pecan and
- 21:57Speaker 1: stuff keep falling over to my mom and them yard.
- 22:00Speaker 1: So I tally to see if y'all can do something man,
- 22:03Speaker 1: where y'all can pick up I mean, my mama and
- 22:06Speaker 1: them got a little older. You know, we've been picking
- 22:08Speaker 1: them up for a long time. But I need somebody to, like,
- 22:12Speaker 1: maybe you can cut the limbs back that's hanging over
- 22:14Speaker 1: so that they won't you know, the pecans won't be
- 22:17Speaker 1: falling over into my mom and them yard because you know,
- 22:20Speaker 1: for them to be bending over like they're picking up
- 22:21Speaker 1: them pacan and it's a lot of them. So, you know, mister,
- 22:25Speaker 1: I just wanted to haul at you and see if
- 22:27Speaker 1: you don't mind maybe cutting the limbs back, because even
- 22:30Speaker 1: when we turned the lamo on and stuff, man, it
- 22:32Speaker 1: just you know, the peconus and stuff be coming out
- 22:34Speaker 1: of the lamo just shooting all over the place. Well,
- 22:38Speaker 1: first of all, Mama con trills an old coon tree
- 22:42Speaker 1: and all. It's fought well, and I can't see me
- 22:47Speaker 1: cutting it. Well. I mean, I'm not saying you can't
- 22:51Speaker 1: have no body to maintain your yard, but I mean
- 22:55Speaker 1: you your mother. You can maintain your mother's yard. So
- 22:59Speaker 1: I go by my mother's house, you know, every other
- 23:02Speaker 1: day and check on them. But I don't have time
- 23:04Speaker 1: to go on the back and pick up pecans and stuff,
- 23:06Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. I mean, if you just
- 23:08Speaker 1: it don't seem no more than like maybe four or
- 23:10Speaker 1: five limbs that's hanging over there. But them four or
- 23:13Speaker 1: five limbs, I mean they they there's a lot of
- 23:15Speaker 1: pecans falling off of that. So if you my pacans
- 23:19Speaker 1: tree to shady, I go back there. There's no kind
- 23:23Speaker 1: of nothing back the okay whatever, sir, I'm not cutting
- 23:29Speaker 1: my tree for a little like that. Sir. Listen, what
- 23:32Speaker 1: I'm what I'm trying to get you to do is
- 23:33Speaker 1: I'm not I want you cutting your entire tree down.
- 23:36Speaker 1: I just want you to cut a few limbs, sir,
- 23:38Speaker 1: so you know those that way that those are the
- 23:41Speaker 1: ones that are hanging over. It won't be you know,
- 23:42Speaker 1: the pecans won't be falling over into my mom's and
- 23:45Speaker 1: them yard. And and and you know, like I say,
- 23:47Speaker 1: they're older now, man, they can't be bending over like that.
- 23:50Speaker 1: So you know, I'm I'm just coming to you as
- 23:52Speaker 1: a man right now and asking you when you please
- 23:55Speaker 1: cut this down to these pecans can quit falling over
- 23:57Speaker 1: my mom and them yard. I'm asking you. All you
- 24:00Speaker 1: can do is hard from one someone I know your mother.
- 24:04Speaker 1: Don't cut your yard. It's it's a guy that it's
- 24:07Speaker 1: a guy that cuts the yard. But even when he
- 24:09Speaker 1: cutting the yard, these pecans is flying out from underneath
- 24:12Speaker 1: the yard. The law more they sooner, lady, we're gonna
- 24:15Speaker 1: be breaking windows over that. What kind of long person
- 24:19Speaker 1: you have that don't pick up before they cut? That's food?
- 24:22Speaker 1: Why am I arguing with you about picking up stuff
- 24:24Speaker 1: and all of this. I'm asking you to cut a
- 24:26Speaker 1: funking let five limbs so these dog gonna pecans ain't
- 24:29Speaker 1: a falling off my mama yard. You you want to
- 24:32Speaker 1: cut you you're gonna make me come over here and
- 24:35Speaker 1: cut the old I would come cut the whole damn
- 24:37Speaker 1: tree down. You ain't gonna put my tree. I grew
- 24:41Speaker 1: that tree from when I was a kids, and that
- 24:43Speaker 1: tree gonna say that York long as I stay though. Sir, look,
- 24:47Speaker 1: I didn't ask you like a man to cut your
- 24:49Speaker 1: little funking pecan tree down. Now, I ain't in the hat.
- 24:52Speaker 1: What you know? What? Guess what you you? You bad
- 24:56Speaker 1: know you can't cut it. I look, sir, tonight today, Rother,
- 25:02Speaker 1: this evening, it's either gonna be two things happening. Either
- 25:05Speaker 1: you're gonna cut the five limbs that I won't cut,
- 25:08Speaker 1: of gonna cut cut the whole damn or corn tree down.
- 25:11Speaker 1: That's my tree in any game. Nobody's gonna with my tree.
- 25:15Speaker 1: I'm here right now. I'm You're not hearing the yard
- 25:17Speaker 1: right now, come on, is you over that right now?

- 25:23Speaker 1: what you get my numb in the way, got your No,
- 25:27Speaker 1: I got it because it's the same. Is one address
- 25:30Speaker 1: left than my mama's. You're gonna cut this damn tree down.
- 25:33Speaker 1: I'm waiting on them, but anyway, man, I ain't using
- 25:36Speaker 1: my crea selling in the long top any wait. I've
- 25:39Speaker 1: been waiting on them like you. You didn't lost your
- 25:42Speaker 1: damn mind. You live, y'all, puck. I told you once,
- 25:45Speaker 1: and I told you twice. I'm old you younger, don't
- 25:50Speaker 1: do that. See that's what's right. Then. You know what
- 25:53Speaker 1: you can do? Tell your mom to make up a
- 25:55Speaker 1: corn what you say by my mama, Tell her to
- 25:58Speaker 1: make corn pop and come for me. Tell my mama
- 26:03Speaker 1: what break a corn pop with? You? Make a pecorn pie?
- 26:09Speaker 1: I don't want no pecoran prob. We don't even eat
- 26:11Speaker 1: pecan pie. We're so sick of he's damn becun. You

- 27:00Speaker 1: you I'm here waiting on you. You get out of
- 27:02Speaker 1: my mamma. Get out of my mama. Joy, baby, better
- 27:06Speaker 1: go cook me some me because I'm gonna sit here.
- 27:08Speaker 1: I got one more thing I need to say to you.
- 27:10Speaker 1: When you listening, you don't gonna try to say I'm
- 27:13Speaker 1: waiting at you at your mama house. This is Nephew
- 27:16Speaker 1: tim Me from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You just
- 27:19Speaker 1: got pranked by your brother. Man, I don't play this tuna. Man.
- 27:26Speaker 1: I'm gonna put my man. I'm gonna. I'm gonna, but
- 27:32Speaker 1: I don't play. I'm too old for this else, do

- 27:40Speaker 1: go back to your yard. You gave me how blood pressure.
- 27:47Speaker 1: Ain't nobody mad about your country none of that. Ain't
- 27:50Speaker 1: nobody going to cut it down. Ain't nobody tripping you right?
- 27:55Speaker 1: I got a little now, man, I've been carrying my
- 27:58Speaker 1: grandkids school. Listen to y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, boy, y'all man.
- 28:06Speaker 1: I got one more question for you. Tell me what
- 28:09Speaker 1: is the baddest radio station in the land. LC Ain't
- 28:21Speaker 1: there you have, ladies and gentlemen. That's that running that
- 28:24Speaker 1: frank back on trade the morning, keeping it stupid, asked promised.
- 28:29Speaker 1: I'm gonna always try and keep it stupid. I will
- 28:31Speaker 1: be stupid well, dude thing Alabama. That's right, that's this
- 28:37Speaker 1: coming sad baby, tickets on sale. I'll be at the

- 28:45Speaker 1: the come to dough good got nobody, Why are you better?
- 28:47Speaker 1: Ask somebody everybody at the church out of the bob
- 28:50Speaker 1: shop down and let's stop down at the house a lone.
- 28:52Speaker 1: You're betta tell him the food come to town. Man,
- 28:54Speaker 1: I gotta go see this food. This food coming down here,
- 28:56Speaker 1: gonna have a dog on food. He leaves. All right,
- 28:58Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour, we'll have
- 29:00Speaker 1: some entertainment news and some national news and update with
- 29:03Speaker 1: miss Anne Tripp right after this. You're listening to show well.
- 29:10Speaker 1: Our prayers go out to those affected by the tornado
- 29:13Speaker 1: in Nashville. Miss Anne will definitely update us shortly, but
- 29:18Speaker 1: first in entertainment news. Legendary hip hop group Public Enemy
- 29:23Speaker 1: split over the weekend after an argument between Chuck D
- 29:26Speaker 1: and Flavor Flav. Flavor Flav has been the hype man
- 29:30Speaker 1: for Public Enemy since the eighties. We all remember him well.
- 29:34Speaker 1: Over the weekend, he got mad because Chuck D participated
- 29:39Speaker 1: in a Bernie Sanders political rally and he had words
- 29:42Speaker 1: with Chuck D over his support of Sanders. Then, shortly thereafter,
- 29:47Speaker 1: Public Enemy issued a statement that said that Public Enemy
- 29:51Speaker 1: and Public Enemy Radio will be moving forward without Flavor Flav.
- 29:56Speaker 1: In other words, they fired Flavor Flay from the group.
- 30:00Speaker 1: The statement went on to say we thank him for
- 30:02Speaker 1: his years of service and wish him well. Chuck D
- 30:05Speaker 1: later clarified that the group did not part ways with
- 30:08Speaker 1: Flavor Flavor over his political views. He said the Flavor
- 30:11Speaker 1: Flav had been suspended since twenty sixteen from missing a
- 30:14Speaker 1: few performances, and that was the last straw. This was
- 30:18Speaker 1: the last straw the Bernie Sanders incidents. Because Flav chooses
- 30:21Speaker 1: to a party instead of working. That's always so you
- 30:29Speaker 1: got to go my life, boy. Apollo Theater was the
- 30:34Speaker 1: night that Public Enemy was to appear. I'm hosting the show, Franco.
- 30:41Speaker 1: The band leader was Frank Ray True, who hadn't even
- 30:44Speaker 1: got the gig yet. They had been in line since
- 30:48Speaker 1: ten that morning because Public Enemy was coming. We got
- 30:54Speaker 1: all the way down to the end. They started taking
- 30:57Speaker 1: the band down the orders. Where's public to me? I
- 31:00Speaker 1: had to go out and tell the Apollo Theater that
- 31:03Speaker 1: they couldn't perform tonight. You know why Flavor Flav got
- 31:09Speaker 1: his ass arrested. Yeah, Block, No, for real, Flavor Flav
- 31:17Speaker 1: got They almost told that damn theater up that night. Yeah,
- 31:23Speaker 1: all the time that he was supposed to be somewhere,
- 31:25Speaker 1: Flavor miss too. Flavor, good dude, man, he just he
- 31:30Speaker 1: just so. You need to look at your clock. I
- 31:35Speaker 1: don't believe then, why do you have that clock? His
- 31:42Speaker 1: damn clock and still at the clock. I had to
- 31:46Speaker 1: gonna talk show a few years ago. Flavor war or
- 31:50Speaker 1: fur a fur jaging suit with some black and white
- 31:55Speaker 1: spectator Stacey Adams shoes on a brim and o'clock. Flavor
- 32:02Speaker 1: was sitting on that stage. Swinton like his ass was
- 32:05Speaker 1: a runaway. I think you think it was that fur
- 32:12Speaker 1: jogging suit perhaps, boy, So that's said man, Yeah, yeah, um.
- 32:22Speaker 1: Also out of a job now, Steve. You know him.
- 32:25Speaker 1: He's the host of MSNBC's Hardball. Chris Matthews. Yeah, he
- 32:32Speaker 1: retired from a show Hardball, after he was accused of
- 32:34Speaker 1: inappropriate behavior. He made the announcement at the start of
- 32:37Speaker 1: his show on Monday. He said, I'm retiring. This is
- 32:41Speaker 1: the last Hardball at MSNBC. And obviously this isn't for
- 32:45Speaker 1: the lack of interest in politics. As you can tell,
- 32:48Speaker 1: I've loved every minute of my twenty years as host
- 32:50Speaker 1: of Hardball. Matthews also apologized for making inappropriate comments about
- 32:55Speaker 1: the appearance of women. Uh, saying compliments on a women's appearance.
- 32:59Speaker 1: That's some men, including me might have once incorrectly thought
- 33:04Speaker 1: were okay. We're never okay, not then and certainly not today.
- 33:08Speaker 1: And for making such comments in the past. I'm sorry,
- 33:11Speaker 1: and after that he quit. All right, let's move on
- 33:15Speaker 1: to miss Anne. Ladies and gentlemen, miss Anne Tripp, thank
- 33:19Speaker 1: you very much, and good morning everybody. More than a
- 33:21Speaker 1: third of the delegates needed to snag the Democratic presidential
- 33:24Speaker 1: nomination rough for grabs yesterday because it was Super Tuesday.
- 33:27Speaker 1: This was the first time that Michael Bloomberg was on
- 33:30Speaker 1: the primary ballot, but after spending more than a half
- 33:32Speaker 1: a billion dollars on advertising and organizing, his soule win
- 33:37Speaker 1: was the territory of American Samoa. Meanwhile, Bernie Sanders won
- 33:40Speaker 1: his own state, Vermont, as well as Colorado. He won
- 33:44Speaker 1: the delegate rich state of California. However, Joe Biden was
- 33:47Speaker 1: the winner in delegate rich Texas. He also won Oklahoma, Virginia, Alabama,
- 33:51Speaker 1: North Carolina, Tennessee, Arkansas, and Minnesota, a state that Sanders
- 33:55Speaker 1: had hoped to win. He also won Massachusetts, and black
- 33:58Speaker 1: voters are very important to many of his wins, especially
- 34:00Speaker 1: in the South. So far, the Associated Press has Biden
- 34:03Speaker 1: with one hundred and seventy four delei gates the Sanders
- 34:06Speaker 1: one hundred and twelve, twelve to Elizabeth Warren six to
- 34:08Speaker 1: Mike Bloomberg. Tulsea gabber. She's in the race, believe it
- 34:11Speaker 1: or not. Still, but of course those numbers Tulsea Gober
- 34:13Speaker 1: has one, but of course those numbers are not firmed.
- 34:15Speaker 1: Both Sanders and Biden are expressing confidence. I tell you,
- 34:19Speaker 1: with absolute confidence, we're gonna win the Democratic nomination and
- 34:25Speaker 1: mcnomics think about it. This campaign will send down Trump
- 34:29Speaker 1: packing Bernie Sanders one in California, like I said, but
- 34:33Speaker 1: Maine still hasn't been called yet. More states vote next week. Meanwhile,
- 34:36Speaker 1: destructive stores are responsible for big problems in yesterday's Super
- 34:39Speaker 1: Tuesday voting. In parts of Tennessee. The Democratic Party had
- 34:42Speaker 1: to send voters to a high school, a community center,
- 34:45Speaker 1: and a church because some original polling places were among
- 34:48Speaker 1: the dozens of places damaged or destroyed by tornadoes in
- 34:52Speaker 1: and out of Nashville Monday night. At last were at
- 34:54Speaker 1: least twenty five people were killed in four Tennessee counties.
- 34:58Speaker 1: Thirty eight people are still miss and schools and court buildings,
- 35:01Speaker 1: even the airport had to be shut down. That's in Tennessee.
- 35:05Speaker 1: While China reports some eighty thousand cases of coronavirus out
- 35:08Speaker 1: of ninety one thousand worldwide. More than newer cases of
- 35:11Speaker 1: COVID nineteen. That's coronavirus are popping up outside of China,
- 35:16Speaker 1: with Europe in the Middle East seeing some of the
- 35:17Speaker 1: worst outbreaks with cases in the thousands. Rat Mugul jay
- 35:21Speaker 1: z As joining Rapper Yogatti and filing a second lawsuit
- 35:24Speaker 1: against the Mississippi Department of Corrections targeting that state's notorious
- 35:28Speaker 1: Parchment Prison, where at least nine inmates have died since January.
- 35:31Speaker 1: The lawsuit filed on a half of more than one
- 35:33Speaker 1: hundred and fifty inmates housed in that dangerous lock up.
- 35:37Speaker 1: The suit ledger's inhumane commit conditions, food contaminated with rat feces, cockroaches,
- 35:42Speaker 1: flooded cells, no lights, heat, no fan in the summertime,
- 35:45Speaker 1: and no adequate medical care. Sad news. The founder of
- 35:48Speaker 1: hair Club for Men, Si Spoiling, has died. Remember I'm
- 35:51Speaker 1: not only the hair club president, but I'm also a client.
- 35:54Speaker 1: Yew that ad really works. SI Spiling was seventy eight
- 35:57Speaker 1: years old. Now back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 36:00Speaker 1: You're listening, Well, guess what, Steve, we have more relationship
- 36:05Speaker 1: questions for you from Steve Harvey FM. Uh. You know
- 36:09Speaker 1: you're our Chief Love Officer CLO, so to help. Yes,
- 36:14Speaker 1: all right? This is from Sherwanna in Dallas. She Wanna says, Steve,
- 36:18Speaker 1: I've been dating a great guy for seven years and
- 36:20Speaker 1: we've known each other for thirteen years. Things have been great,
- 36:24Speaker 1: and I don't want I want to be with him forever.
- 36:27Speaker 1: My question for you is kind of woman proposed to
- 36:30Speaker 1: a man? No? No, But the question, your deeper question,
- 36:35Speaker 1: is you want to be with him forever? You need
- 36:38Speaker 1: to ask the question does he want to be with
- 36:41Speaker 1: you forever? And what's in it for him to get married?
- 36:46Speaker 1: If you all have been seeing each other for seven years,
- 36:49Speaker 1: then what did she say they're doing for thirteen? They've
- 36:53Speaker 1: known each other for thirteen, known each other thirteen being
- 36:56Speaker 1: seeing each other seven? Did she say how old she was? No?
- 37:00Speaker 1: She didn't. Maybe he don't want her, Maybe he just
- 37:04Speaker 1: wants something from her at seven years. I think all
- 37:09Speaker 1: she has to do is just sit down and say, hey,
- 37:11Speaker 1: can we have ain't listening to me? I want to
- 37:14Speaker 1: say something to you that I think you should hear. Hell, yeah, baby,
- 37:18Speaker 1: what's that? I love you? You have told me that
- 37:21Speaker 1: you love me, and we've been together for seven years,
- 37:26Speaker 1: Can you tell me exactly what your plans are for
- 37:29Speaker 1: me moving forward? You have it. That's a simple question.
- 37:33Speaker 1: That ain't That ain't making him marry you. That ain't
- 37:36Speaker 1: no ultimatum, And just let him tell you what he
- 37:39Speaker 1: wants from you moving forward. You've already had seven years
- 37:43Speaker 1: and if he says the same thing that you already got,
- 37:46Speaker 1: then he has no other plans for you than what
- 37:48Speaker 1: you already getting. But Steve, I'm going to assume that
- 37:54Speaker 1: she's a young woman. So and a lot of young
- 37:57Speaker 1: women believe it or not feel this way, that it's okay, no,
- 38:00Speaker 1: we don't care, blah blah blah blah blah. So you
- 38:02Speaker 1: need to laser in on why a woman should not
- 38:06Speaker 1: propose to a man. Not that why you can't. But
- 38:11Speaker 1: let me ask you a question. If you're leaving it
- 38:14Speaker 1: up to a man to say whether he wants to
- 38:17Speaker 1: get married or not, and he hasn't asked you, and
- 38:21Speaker 1: you forced him to tell you the answer is no,
- 38:25Speaker 1: that is a much slicker way to go about it,
- 38:29Speaker 1: because if the man wanted to marry you, he'd ask you.
- 38:33Speaker 1: You asking him ain't gonna make him jump. If a
- 38:36Speaker 1: man don't want to jump, he's not jumping. You're not
- 38:38Speaker 1: jumping because you asked him. You. You're gonna get some
- 38:42Speaker 1: answers like, hey, you know, I'm trying to give myself together.
- 38:46Speaker 1: Y'all thought about it with you. You're gonna hear stuff like, oh,
- 38:50Speaker 1: I'm cool the way it is. I love you know
- 38:53Speaker 1: why you didn't gonna hear this from right here? Why
- 38:55Speaker 1: mess this up? We got a good thing. You want
- 38:57Speaker 1: to mess this up? Oh me and got all types
- 38:59Speaker 1: of wonderful stuff date make you second guess yourself. We
- 39:03Speaker 1: have two more good ones that you have to answer.
- 39:06Speaker 1: My Coming up at thirty four minutes after the hour,
- 39:08Speaker 1: it's our Wellness Wednesday segment. We're going to talk about
- 39:12Speaker 1: detoxifying your body and getting clean and lean for the spring.
- 39:17Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to Dave Harpy Morning Show.
- 39:22Speaker 1: We all know that healthier living is the goal for
- 39:25Speaker 1: many of us, but we tend to make excuses and
- 39:28Speaker 1: put off exercising and eating right well. Today we are
- 39:31Speaker 1: giving you an easy way to lose your unwanted pounds
- 39:35Speaker 1: so you can look and feel your best and be
- 39:37Speaker 1: more energized. It's no secret it is the De Herbs
- 39:41Speaker 1: Full Body Cleanse. We talk about it a lot on
- 39:43Speaker 1: this show because we love it and it's the only
- 39:46Speaker 1: cleans you'll hear me talking about. We've all done this
- 39:49Speaker 1: cleans and like I said, we'd love it. Joining us
- 39:51Speaker 1: now is our good friend and family member, the CEO
- 39:54Speaker 1: of d Herbs, Mister A D. Dolphin, Ladies and gentlemen. Yeah, Hey,
- 40:04Speaker 1: A D. I gotta tell you again we live for
- 40:07Speaker 1: the Hey, we live for it. Nobody says it like you,
- 40:13Speaker 1: But thank you for joining us again. We know the
- 40:16Speaker 1: De Herbs gets thousands of great reviews online. If you
- 40:19Speaker 1: go on there, you can look at the reviews from
- 40:21Speaker 1: people that have literally you know, they've changed their lives
- 40:25Speaker 1: with the Derbs Full body Cleans. Now, is there one
- 40:29Speaker 1: story or one review in particular that stands out for you,
- 40:32Speaker 1: A D Well. We just have one recently by a
- 40:35Speaker 1: young lady by the Nameless Carrie. She works out profusely
- 40:38Speaker 1: every single day, but she wasn't losing the weight, and
- 40:41Speaker 1: I kind of knew what her problem was, and she
- 40:43Speaker 1: wanted to know what the full body clans actually help her,
- 40:46Speaker 1: and I told her, Yeah, I'll give it a try.
- 40:48Speaker 1: So if she did the clans, she lost twenty nine
- 40:50Speaker 1: pounds and she came to realize the same thing that
- 40:53Speaker 1: I always risk that I know and Steve always talked about,
- 40:56Speaker 1: you cannot outwork a bad diet. And when you do
- 41:02Speaker 1: it clans and when you do the clans, you've got
- 41:05Speaker 1: to change your diet. So she did that and she
- 41:07Speaker 1: finally got the results that she's always been looking for
- 41:11Speaker 1: and now she's headed to her weight that she's been
- 41:14Speaker 1: dying to be. Love that nine pounds absolutely, and that
- 41:21Speaker 1: was one period of time. What it was, within twenty days.
- 41:25Speaker 1: She just did one clans with two hundred and thirty pounds.
- 41:28Speaker 1: She went to two hundred and one pounds, and you know,
- 41:31Speaker 1: it's changed your life. And like I said, Steve mentioned
- 41:34Speaker 1: this all the time, and he's one hundred percent on
- 41:37Speaker 1: the money. You can't out work a bad diet. Working
- 41:40Speaker 1: out only represent twenty percent of weight loss. Actually changing
- 41:45Speaker 1: your diet and making that changes represents the other eighty percent.
- 41:49Speaker 1: That we should do it again. I think that we
- 41:54Speaker 1: should do it again. Drive me, surely, Junior, you need
- 41:59Speaker 1: to come on back, yeah, because I'm not. But Junior,
- 42:06Speaker 1: if you notice this, junior. Your crisis when you did
- 42:10Speaker 1: that had gone away for a long stretch. Man, You
- 42:12Speaker 1: hadn't had a crisis long time, you know. I hadn't
- 42:16Speaker 1: had one six years. Consequently you had did that thing, Timmy,
- 42:20Speaker 1: would you do it? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I
- 42:23Speaker 1: did it before I would do it. Okay, we gonna
- 42:26Speaker 1: have to do it. Then we gotta find out a
- 42:29Speaker 1: time when we can do it. I'm gonna get my
- 42:32Speaker 1: wife involved because I don't want her cooking something that
- 42:34Speaker 1: I might want. Okay, all right, on the house and
- 42:39Speaker 1: make that suggestion to your wife. Yeah, it's not gonna
- 42:42Speaker 1: go well for you, Timmy. We've been riding bikes out,
- 42:45Speaker 1: we're doing stuff together. We're gonna do this, going there
- 42:48Speaker 1: and tell her she need a clean see what happened.
- 42:50Speaker 1: So that's a good thing. We can all hold each
- 42:53Speaker 1: other accountable, get a get a cleansed partner. And and
- 42:56Speaker 1: the final thing I wanted to talk to you about
- 42:59Speaker 1: a D S d Or has been around for about
- 43:01Speaker 1: fifteen years now. You've sold over four million formulas. Congratulations
- 43:06Speaker 1: on that. So why do you think d herbs has
- 43:10Speaker 1: has been so successful for so many years? You know what?
- 43:15Speaker 1: The reason why that Derbs for a body cleansing been
- 43:17Speaker 1: so successful is because it works. You're talking about results

- 43:27Speaker 1: be able to focus and concentrate a lot better. And
- 43:31Speaker 1: that's the reason why we're so success. So we're one
- 43:33Speaker 1: of the few products on the market that's out there
- 43:36Speaker 1: that's delivering what it says is going to deliver, and
- 43:40Speaker 1: that's why we're out there kicking back. Listen, you've heard
- 43:42Speaker 1: it from the CEO of d Herbs ad Dolphin, and

- 44:11Speaker 1: it is a Nephew Frank phone call for today. Right
- 44:13Speaker 1: after this, you're listening to Harvey Morning Show coming up
- 44:19Speaker 1: at the top of the hour. Right about four minutes after,
- 44:21Speaker 1: It's my strawberry letter for today. The subject is my
- 44:25Speaker 1: wife is way too relaxed. Now we also have the
- 44:29Speaker 1: nephew standing by with today's prank phone call. But Steve,
- 44:32Speaker 1: before we went to break um, we're talking about a
- 44:35Speaker 1: question from Shawanna in Dallas. She wanted to know can
- 44:40Speaker 1: a woman proposed to a man? She's been dating a
- 44:43Speaker 1: guy for seven years, known him for thirteen, and she
- 44:45Speaker 1: wanted to know, because she wants to be with this
- 44:48Speaker 1: guy forever. Can she propose to a man? Well, I
- 44:52Speaker 1: know that times have changed, right, and I know young
- 44:55Speaker 1: women are taking a more assertive roles, and I'm absolutely
- 44:58Speaker 1: fine with that. You can do it. But from uncle Steve,
- 45:01Speaker 1: let me show you a slicker way to do it.
- 45:04Speaker 1: See why would you embarrass yourself and get a note?
- 45:07Speaker 1: Because you're not gonna like the know as soon as
- 45:09Speaker 1: he tell you no, guess what you're gonna want to know?
- 45:11Speaker 1: Why not? We've been together seven years, we've known each
- 45:14Speaker 1: other thirteen. You're gonna go over the obvious facts. So
- 45:17Speaker 1: why I embarrass yourself that way? Ask a man what
- 45:21Speaker 1: he wants to do moving forward with this relationship? If
- 45:25Speaker 1: he gives you anything itself. I want to marry you,
- 45:28Speaker 1: and I'm getting you a ring, and you don't like
- 45:30Speaker 1: the answer. Here's what your next statement should be. Well,
- 45:35Speaker 1: in order to continue this relationship, I really want to
- 45:38Speaker 1: be married. Don't say to him listen to what I'm
- 45:41Speaker 1: exactly fining you. I'm not listen. In order for this
- 45:45Speaker 1: relationship to continue, I want to be married, and if
- 45:51Speaker 1: if it's not going to be you, then listen to
- 45:56Speaker 1: this line. I want to be married, and if it's
- 45:58Speaker 1: not going to be you, here is to catch line, Ladies.
- 46:02Speaker 1: Then I want to take other options. Don't say don't
- 46:11Speaker 1: say explore other options, because then that means that now
- 46:15Speaker 1: you got to go find somebody in a dude, go
- 46:17Speaker 1: you ain't got nobody. No, I want you to say this,
- 46:20Speaker 1: then I want to take other options. Take other options
- 46:26Speaker 1: means there's another guy at me. You heard what Junior said, right, yeah, yeah,
- 46:33Speaker 1: I'll be down to Jears tonight getting ready to go
- 46:36Speaker 1: buy the round. I'm telling me. I'm telling you, ladies,
- 46:38Speaker 1: this is what you do? What what? What? What? What
- 46:41Speaker 1: you mean? You're gonna take other options? I want to
- 46:43Speaker 1: be married. I don't want to spend my life as
- 46:46Speaker 1: someone's girlfriend. I've been with you seven years. We love
- 46:50Speaker 1: each other, so you say, and I want to be married.
- 46:53Speaker 1: I don't want to be anybody's girlfriend. So I want
- 46:56Speaker 1: to be married. And if it's not going to be you,
- 46:59Speaker 1: then I want to take other options. That means that
- 47:03Speaker 1: says there's another option out there that I might be
- 47:06Speaker 1: willing to take. So this is sugar honey, iced tea
- 47:11Speaker 1: or get off the pot. Hello? Hello? All right, right time, Well,
- 47:18Speaker 1: let's let's go and do this here when we're talking

- 49:15Speaker 1: Put her on the phone, man, and look, you need
- 49:17Speaker 1: to put her on the phone right now, leaving. I
- 49:19Speaker 1: don't believe that. Now. I want to hear her say
- 49:20Speaker 1: that you want to talk to me? Oh here, you're staying. Hey,
- 49:25Speaker 1: let me talk to my wife, man, because you you

- 49:33Speaker 1: dude talking about to tell you this for a while,

- 49:42Speaker 1: are you telling me this whole phone? What can't you
- 49:43Speaker 1: just come home and tell me this? Why can't you

- 53:56Speaker 1: let's go buck it up. Hold on tight, we got
- 53:59Speaker 1: it for you. Here it is berry letta thank you nephew.
- 54:04Speaker 1: This one says the subject, My wife is way too
- 54:08Speaker 1: relaxed now, Dear Stephen Shirley. I've been married for twenty
- 54:12Speaker 1: four years and my marriage started out great. My wife
- 54:16Speaker 1: was beautiful and kept herself up, and that was what
- 54:20Speaker 1: attracted me to her. We started a business together after
- 54:23Speaker 1: we got married, and it was hugely successful, mostly because
- 54:28Speaker 1: of my wife's sacrifices. She started putting the business in
- 54:31Speaker 1: front of our family, and she neglected a lot of
- 54:34Speaker 1: her responsibilities to me and her children. As the years
- 54:38Speaker 1: went by. My wife also failed to be intimate with
- 54:42Speaker 1: me and we went for almost a year without sex.
- 54:46Speaker 1: I should say that she went a year without sex
- 54:48Speaker 1: because I ended up getting my needs met by another woman,
- 54:52Speaker 1: which resulted in me having an outside child. This shook
- 54:56Speaker 1: my wife to the core and it was a wake
- 54:58Speaker 1: up call for her. Temporarily, she vowed to be more
- 55:02Speaker 1: present with me and make sex a priority. Well, now
- 55:06Speaker 1: that she has changed her schedule and is paying more
- 55:08Speaker 1: attention to me, she has really started to let herself go.
- 55:12Speaker 1: She is home for most of the day now, and
- 55:15Speaker 1: when I get home, she's still in her pajamas, which
- 55:18Speaker 1: aren't very sexy, and she hasn't done her hair or
- 55:20Speaker 1: showered some days. She does not clean up often, and
- 55:24Speaker 1: she rarely cooks. We will be watching TV and a
- 55:27Speaker 1: sexy woman will come on the screen and she will
- 55:30Speaker 1: look over at me to see my reaction, and sometimes
- 55:33Speaker 1: she comments, there's your type of girl or a woman
- 55:36Speaker 1: right there. I don't know what's going on with her,
- 55:38Speaker 1: but she's way to relax and I feel like I'm
- 55:41Speaker 1: married to one of my buddies. I want my sexy,
- 55:44Speaker 1: ambitious wife back, but I do feel a certain amount
- 55:48Speaker 1: of guilt for turning her into someone different. How can
- 55:50Speaker 1: I fix my marriage and get my wife back to normal?
- 55:53Speaker 1: Help me? Well, I'm glad you said that that you
- 55:55Speaker 1: feel a certain amount of guilt, because you should feel
- 55:59Speaker 1: a certain an amount of guilt. And mister selfish, because
- 56:02Speaker 1: you just talk about, you know, the things your wife
- 56:05Speaker 1: doesn't do for you in this letter, I don't see
- 56:09Speaker 1: anywhere in here where you you know, feel what your
- 56:14Speaker 1: wife has gone through the the you mentioned the word sacrifice,
- 56:18Speaker 1: but what she has put into building your business and
- 56:21Speaker 1: making it successful, you said it was hugely because of her.
- 56:25Speaker 1: I mean, you know it's you wrote the letter from
- 56:29Speaker 1: how it makes you feel. And that's just a selfish
- 56:32Speaker 1: way to look at this. And yes, take a lot
- 56:35Speaker 1: of responsibility and guilt for changing your wife in this
- 56:41Speaker 1: situation you had an outside child. I mean, come on, really,
- 56:46Speaker 1: I mean to me, your wife needs to get back
- 56:49Speaker 1: to work. She was in her element when she was
- 56:52Speaker 1: building the business and making those kind of sacrifices. She
- 56:54Speaker 1: had purpose, she had a reason to live. She was thriving.
- 56:59Speaker 1: You know, she was being herself. She was doing what
- 57:01Speaker 1: she loved. I think the issue here is besides you,
- 57:06Speaker 1: is your wife didn't have a balance. You know, a
- 57:09Speaker 1: lot of there are a lot of working women who
- 57:11Speaker 1: keep it together and do all those things you know,
- 57:15Speaker 1: and and still have sex with their husbands. But your
- 57:19Speaker 1: wife seems like an all or nothing person. She put
- 57:22Speaker 1: all she had into the business, building the business, and
- 57:25Speaker 1: then you know when she came home, she didn't have
- 57:27Speaker 1: a lot to give I suppose, So you know, those
- 57:30Speaker 1: were two extremes. So her sweet spot needs to be,
- 57:35Speaker 1: you know, finding that balance where she can work and
- 57:38Speaker 1: do her thing, because she's got to work, because that
- 57:41Speaker 1: gives her life, that gives her energy. She she loves
- 57:44Speaker 1: doing that. That's where she can be who she is
- 57:47Speaker 1: and and then you know, trying to make your marriage work.
- 57:51Speaker 1: But it's not a problem just for your wife. You
- 57:53Speaker 1: have a lot, a lot, lot to do with this situation.
- 57:57Speaker 1: It doesn't even seem like you were really helping her
- 57:59Speaker 1: in the bid business that much. You know, you said
- 58:03Speaker 1: it was mostly because of her. I keep saying that
- 58:05Speaker 1: because of her sacrifices. What did you do? What did
- 58:07Speaker 1: you sacrifice? You know? Can you cook? Can you clean?
- 58:11Speaker 1: Can you hire somebody to do these things? I mean
- 58:14Speaker 1: it sounds like your wife was doing everything and you're
- 58:17Speaker 1: just sitting back being critical of what she's not doing
- 58:20Speaker 1: for you. So, you know, if you want this marriage
- 58:23Speaker 1: to work, I think you're gonna have to make some sacrifices, now,
- 58:27Speaker 1: you know that's what I think. You need to make
- 58:31Speaker 1: some sacrifices and let your wife know how much you
- 58:33Speaker 1: appreciate her and the things that she did for the
- 58:36Speaker 1: business and for this marriage. I mean, she's only one person.
- 58:39Speaker 1: She can't do it all. Steve, you're a problem upset
- 58:42Speaker 1: with this guy. You know, you've been married twenty four years.
- 58:46Speaker 1: No marriage is the same after twenty four years. Same
- 58:50Speaker 1: thing it took to get your babyhooked, he's gonna take
- 58:53Speaker 1: the same thing to keep her. Somebody stopped doing something,
- 58:56Speaker 1: and I think it was both of y'all. My wife
- 58:59Speaker 1: was built, utiful and kept herself up, and that's what
- 59:01Speaker 1: attracted me. We started a business together after we got married,
- 59:05Speaker 1: and it was hugely successful, mostly because of my wife's sacrifices.
- 59:10Speaker 1: Did you hear what you just typed? You all started
- 59:13Speaker 1: a business together and it was hugely successful, And you
- 59:17Speaker 1: said mostly because of my wife's sacrifices, meaning she gave
- 59:25Speaker 1: up and put in the most to make the business work.
- 59:29Speaker 1: She started putting the business in front of our family,
- 59:31Speaker 1: and she elected a lot of her responsibility to me
- 59:34Speaker 1: and our children over the years as it went by.
- 59:37Speaker 1: Oh okay, so now now you building a case for
- 59:42Speaker 1: writing a letter. You said, she sacrificed to hugely build
- 59:46Speaker 1: a business, which means she did more than you. And
- 59:50Speaker 1: then you say, she started putting the business in front
- 59:52Speaker 1: of your family, and the elected a lot of her
- 59:53Speaker 1: responsibility to me and our children. Now you want the
- 59:56Speaker 1: business built, You want the money. That sounds like some
- 59:59Speaker 1: a man was say to a woman. Now you want
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: me to build his business bringing his money home? Feed
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: you had he gross you up in here? You want
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: me sitting around the house watching TV. Which all but
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: you got the script flipped on you. When I come back,
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you what else it's wrong. All right, Steve,
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: thank you. We'll have part two of your response coming
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: up at twenty three minutes after the hour, subject my
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: wife is way to relax. Now we'll get back into
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: it right after this. You're listening to Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: Come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter. Subject my
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: wife is way to relax Now, well she's relaxed hers.
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: You and your wife been married twenty four years. Ain't
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: nothing the same after twenty four years. My wife was
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: beautiful and kept herself up, and this was attracted me
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: to her. Now, let me make a statement, sir, I
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: promise you you don't look like you did twenty four
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: years ago. I give you my word on that. I
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: promise you you don't look just like you did twenty
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: four years ago. We started the business together, we got married.
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: It was hugely successful, mostly because of my wife's sacrifices. Okay,
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: so you admitted that your wife gave up the most
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: and did the most. It was her success, her sacrifices
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: that made the business huge. She started putting it. Now
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: hear why you started building the case for writing a letter, say,
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: I know when me and making turn. She started putting
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: the business in front of our family, and she elected
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: a lot of her responsibilities to me and our children
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: as the years went back. Really, dog, now you want
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: the business, you want the successful life, or you want
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: her at the home, cooking and taking kids to soccer, practicing,
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: and and and and banging you to you, to you,
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: to you, just sitting over there like a dishrag well, pardner.
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: My wife also failed to be intimate with me, and
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: we went for almost a year without sex. Hold up, dog,
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: if you go, don't go a year without having sexually
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: there at your wife. That ain't just your wife fault. Dog,
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: that ain't your wife's fault. I can promise you man
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: that UDN did something. Man, UDN did something. Dog, not
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: to move the sex and needle in your house. You've
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: been sitting around powding. But you say for about a
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: year and then you said hold on because this high
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: I know that it got tricky. I should say that
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: she went a year without sex because I ended up
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: getting my kneeds met by another woman. Okay, excuse so
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: it was a year. It wasn't a year before you
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: started having sex. It was earlier. Because you say me
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: and my wife went a year without having sex, I
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: should say she went a year because you've been started
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: seeing this other chick. Dog, you did that before the
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: year was up. But you didn't think Uncle Steve was
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: gonna spot that in the letter because I ended up
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: having my kneeds met by another woman, which resulted in
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: me having an outside child. Oh you stupid, Oh you stupid,
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: you out there. It ain't gonna raincoat on? Is you tripping? Man? Now?
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: And now when you did had a sex after year,
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: you don't put your wife's health at risk. Oh man,
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: this ain't looking good. You shouldn't have wrote me though.
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: This shook my wife to the car and it was
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: a wake up call for her. What way? Hold up? Dog?
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: What did you say? This shook my wife to the car.
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: You crushed her and it was a wake up call
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: for her, like nine nine nine, that's what you get?
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: What dog? You're stupid man. You've been married twenty four
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: years and this is what you didn't learn. You're stupid.
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: Very uh in a wake up for hall call for
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: her temporarily, she vowed to be more present with me
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: and make sex a priority. Oh all this was causing her,
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: y'all you're for real? Are you for real? Man? Well,
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: now that she has changed her schedule and it's paying
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: more intention to me, she has really started to let
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: herself go. She is home most of the time of
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: the day now, and when I get home, she's stealing
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: her pajamas, which ain't very sexy. She ain't done her
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: hair or shower. Some days, she does not clean up off,
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: and she rarely cooks. We'll be watching TV. Hold hold
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: of Dog. You crushed a woman. You crushed her, man,
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: You took her spirit, You cheated on after she's sacrificing
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: Bill Charles business. Then you made that sacrifice the reason
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: she neglected you, the children and the family, and which
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: made that the reason that you went out and got
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: the other chick, which is the reason you had another baby.
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: And then when she tried to steal hold the marriage together,
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: she was crushed. So now she at the house where
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: you won't her. But now you're talking about she don't
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: shower someday she crushed man. She don't clean up off
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: and then she rarely cooks. We'll be watching TV and
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: a sexy woman walk cross the screen. She looked over
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: me and see my reaction and sometimes comments that show
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: type of woman right there. Yeah, you know why because
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: she waiting on you to do it again. She waiting
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: so now hold up, so now, so now this one
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: I'm willing to bet. I'm willing to bet now that
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: she at home and won't cook and clean. You haven't
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: probably got another chick. Wow. Yeah, it's her fault because
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: she got her the Jamazon. But you know why she
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: got a jamazone and at the house all day because
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: you crushed her. Dudes, kill me man, after we do
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: something to a woman. Yeah, we don't understand her reaction.
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: Now she's sitting up looking at time about that's probably
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: your woman too, But she and I know it's I
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: don't know what's going on with her. You don't know
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: what's going on with her. Flushed her. You took her
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: dreams from her. She built the business and sacrifice for
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: her and her family and find out you don't want
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: her to have another baby. So if you don't want me,
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: when I'm getting sexy phone and y'all still ain't having
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: set because you're screwing somebody else, Pardner. I don't know
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: what's going on her, but she waged too relaxed, and
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: I feel like I'm married to one of my buddies.
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: I want my sexy, ambitious wife back. She probably want
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: her sexy ambitious husband back. Remember you didn't sacrifice for
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: the business. So now she got some low level, low
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: ass ambition playboy sitting at her house. She probably won't
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: the huffing back. She thought she had a man. You
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: shouldn't have wrote me, dog, You really shouldn't a dog.
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: We gotta go. Thank you, Steve. You can leave your
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: comments on today's letter at Instagram, at Steve Harvey FM,
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: and check out the Strawberry Letter podcast on demand coming
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: up in ten minutes. We'll have more relationship questions for you,
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: our Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey right after this. You're
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: listening show, all right, Steve? So um, you're our Chief
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: Love Officer CLO. So you know, yes, yes, people email
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: us and they want relationship questions from you. So earlier
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: we heard from Showanna and Dallas who wanted to know
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: is that okay for a woman to propose to a man.
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: Now this one comes from Birmingham. But there's no name
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: attached to this one. It's anonymous and you'll see why
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: in a second. It says I'm a side chick and
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: I know it, but I think I should get the
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: same treatment as the wife. We have a two year
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: old daughter together, so I'm not going anywhere. Why can
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: I get the same benefits his wife gets? CLO, you're
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: up cause you de side chick. Why do you, who
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: have a child with this man and all the side
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: chick not get the same benefits as his wife Cause
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: you ain't the wife. You was the side chick and
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: you steal leaves the side chick. Let me explain something,
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: ladies about him that you're not going to all. Men
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: don't give promotions. Oh once what you are? Men don't
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: give promotions. You are what you are when we hire you.
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: That there's no promotions when we hire you. If you
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: are hired as the side chick, you're not fitting to
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: be the wife. You are the side chick. That's it.
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: And the reason he not gonna treat you the same
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: is cause you ain't ever been the same. He bought
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: you no house, he didn't got you pregnant, and you're
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: y'all didn't had a baby. Why can't I get it?
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: You ain't because you're not her. You're not her, You're
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: not missus, you miss you the side chick. You went
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: in as the number two. Men don't give promotions now,
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: don't get me wrong. You can start off as a girlfriend,
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: eventually become a fiance and the wife. But at one
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: point you are the number one. See if he asked
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: you to be his fiance, you number one. If he
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: never asked you to be his fiance, evil, you could
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: be one of the ones until we ask you to
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: marry us you might not, or if you're dating, you
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: can be the one. But just know this, if you're
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: the side chick, you will die the side. Hello. All right,
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: we have more questions for you, Steve, coming up at
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: the time the hour. Well, we have more have more
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: questions for our Chief Love Officer. Relationship questions coming up
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: at the top of the hour right after this. You're listening, Steve.
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: This is from Cynthia and Maryland. She addresses you as
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: mister CLO, Chief Love Officer. W you are? She says,
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: I am a mature single woman and I think you
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: should do a single's cruise or your single listeners and fans.
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: She says, we can mix and mingle at sea, and
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: we can call the cruise the love boot. You would
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: you consider this, Noah, because I got a couple of
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: questions when you say I'm a single, mature woman and
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: you want to mix and mingle and call it the
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: love boat. Howl? Yes, don't nobody remember the love boat?
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: Don't nobody remember the Julie? Listen to me. Old people
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: on a cruise ship a fun. Here's a problem because
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: you gotta stay out there a week. You can't get
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: away from the ass. Now you can come to saying
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: this soul. There's a lot of single people are saying
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: this soul that way. If you see them that look
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: them down there on the beach, go to other way
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: on the cruise ship. You gotta walk that way, because
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: that's why the buffet on the problem. You can't You
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: can't escape nobody on a cruise ship. So no, I'm
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: not gonna do a single with him me and then
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: I'm married. How much fun that's gonna be for me?
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: Y'all out there single in meanland, Me and Marge. You're
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: sitting around taking pictures. Excuse me, Tommy did you really
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: want to say that I can't get away on cruise.
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: Sometimes you walk away from your wife for a minute too.
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: You know, we came in the cab where everybody asking
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: you at the time, it just didn't sound right because
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: he talked about you can't get with me a wife,
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: and we talked about to see. Yes, that's what I'm
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: asking you. Do you really mean to say this stuff
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: you and your wife allowed where people can hear you? Crazy?
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: My wife knowing work, Shirley, stupid, he says. Stupid mans
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: don't work. Yeah, Sully, that's that's what Junior is exactly right.
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: Stupid mans don't work when they're supposed to keep after
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: he mean and saying yes. But he just doesn't think
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: before he says things as a married man though. That's
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: what I'm does key words. He doesn't think, Yeah, yeah,
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: Do you want me to think about what I'm gonna
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: say before I say it? Right there? Well, I mean
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: when it pertains to your marriage. Yes, no, no, no, Tommy,
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: I think you should continue to just just as surprised
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: as everybody else. You go, that's it, right, Then you're
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: encouraging Yes, yes, keep surprising us, including yourself. Yes, yes,
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: that logic, right, there is just what we need. So
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: now we won't be doing a single crew for old people.
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: You got any more courses of that shit? Okay? This one?
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: This one is from June from Ohio. She didn't say where.
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: She just wants to know how soon, Steve, should I
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: introduce my new man to my four kids? First of all,
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: how old are they? Secondly, well, now I think they
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: ranged in ages. I think she said from ten to seventeen. Well,
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: if you're gonna introduce your new man's who it is,
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: it's a little bit late for this. I mean, obviously
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: you've claimed them as your man. You need to hear them,
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: introduce them to the kids so they can get a
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: feel for each other. Because you are now what's called
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: a package. You are a package deal. Now, after man
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: really loves you, he comes, he knows that these children
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: come with the package. There's nothing wrong with having kids.
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: I'm gating a man. It's just a man has to
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: understand the most real men get it comes with a package.
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: Ain't know. Hey, hey, I don't want all them kids
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: around us, these hawkeys. So immediately, all right, you've done it.
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: Now he's your man. You want you make the claim
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: you got to introduce Okay, all right, Chief Love Officer
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: putting it down Today it today, Though we'll be back.
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: We might have one more for you, Steve, coming up
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: on the se Morning Show. More questions, more music, more
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: everything in twenty minutes right after you're listening, Steve, We've
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: been just sprinkling questions for you throughout the morning from
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: our listeners who want to ask you relationship questions. As
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: the CLO the Chief Love Officer, here's our last question
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: of the day. Uh. This one comes from I think
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: her name is uh Sharon, Yeah, I was from Chicago
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: U and says, I know you've got lots of these letters,
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: but I would really like your help. She says, I
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: just want to find happiness with a man. I know
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: a man can't make me happy, but sometimes I get lonely.
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: I want to find my best friend who can love
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: me as much as I love him. Can you please
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: give me any advice or suggestions? And then she also
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: asks his nephew Tommy single. No, you wouldn't know it
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: from this show, but he's actually he's actually got some
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: sense after dumba has stuff, he said, But yes, why
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: you don't know that by now? Is even more amazing. Well, Sharon,
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: here's a deal. You kindly said a contradictory statement. I
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: want you to be careful of every word that comes
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: out of your mouth, because where does it come out
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: of your mouth for the things that you are attracting
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: to yourself. So you said, I want to find happiness,
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: and then she said I know a man can't make
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: me happy. Yeah, she did say that. She says, I
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: know a man can't make me happy, but sometimes I
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: get lonely. You have to change what you say. When
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: we come back, I'm gonna give you an example, and
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: what a suggestion for you. Okay, we'll be back with
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: more questions for the close. But on the radio is
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: sad right after this. You're listening all right, Steve, you're
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: on your last question. It's from Sharon out of Chicago. Uh,
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: I got one from ray Nod. Ray Nod got a
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: question man off. Oh Jessie. She says she wants to
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: find happiness with the man, but she knows a man
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: can't make her happy, but she gets lonely sometimes she
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: wants a best friend who can love her as much
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: as she loves him. And it is Nephew Tommy's single
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: she threw that nephew, Tommy isn't a single stop looking
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: for man. The Bible says, when a man finds a wife,
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: he finds a good thing. Have you ever thought of
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: asking God for the man and then asking God to
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: share with you the things you need to do to
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: attract the man you're looking for? A lot of times
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: when you ask God for something, you haven't prepared yourself
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: to receive it. So the thing that you're asking God for,
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: you have to make sure that you're the person that
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: would be able to receive the thing that you're asking
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: him for. You can't ask this God for this wonderful
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: man if you ain't a wonderful woman. So you got
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: to ask God what are you doing wrong? And ask
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: God to send you the man that's for you and
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: to help prepare you to receive it. Go ahead, Ray now, okay, yeah,
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: let me read this from Ray Reynard is married. He
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: say his number two, then found out about a number
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: three and now three and two is threatening to call
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: number one and Raynard wants to figure out how to
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: keep out the number and not lose Now one up, well,
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: Raynard wants one, two and three. Yeah, Ray, now you're
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: in the world of trouble because two and three is
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: five and if they get together and call number one, man,
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: you have a serious problem on your hands. Yard. So
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: I would suggest to you, if you want to hold
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: on to number one, let it just be a number one.
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: That's my strong suggestion to you who keep losing it. Yeah,
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: Raynard and Ka Tommy sound like yeah, oh boy? Okay, listen,
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: I have a quick question for you as we go
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: to break, and it will be our last break of day.
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: By the way, which of these NBA players have never
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: played in March Madness? Check this out? Is it a
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: Michael Jordan's b u Stefan Curry or see Lebron James
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: Lebron never played in March Madness? Lebron Lebron? Jay? Why
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: you ask him? Question? Sir went straight on? I can
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: ask him? Did you guys? You guys? Yeah, well you
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: know why it's hard. Moses Malone ain't never played in one.
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: Haven't got Thatt ain't played in one? Kevin Garnett ain't
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: ever played in one? Don kill you guys know your sports? Okay?
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: Who all right? Coming up our last break of the
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: day and some closing remarks from the one and only
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: Steve Harvey right after this. You're listening, all right, Steve.
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: Here we are last break of the day. It's been
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: a good day, um on this Wednesday. Yeah, hop day.
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: We got through it, Yeah, got through it. Yeah. So see,
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: if you want to impart some wisdom on us as
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: we leave, well, I think I should talk about dreams
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: because it's such a major component to your success. Dreams
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: are such an important component to success. You can't underplay dreams. See,
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: let me tell you something. Education is necessary for certain
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: fields and professions. You want to be a doctor, a lawyer,
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: a dentist, a pilot, a scientist, a teacher. Education is
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: so necessary for many professions in this world. But there
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: is nothing, and I repeat, there is nothing more important
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: than your dreams. Your dreams have value. Your dreams wake
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: you up in the morning. The dreams give you hope.
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: You know, I'm not saying education doesn't do that. But
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: education don't wake you up in the morning. It's what
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: you dream and hope of becoming with the education that
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: wakes you up. It is your dream that causes you
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: to even get an education. If you want to fly
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: a plane and that's your dream, your dream will cause
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: you to do the things necessary to accomplish the dream.
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: That's why I tell people educators in all, if we
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: spent more time talking to our children in our school
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: system about their dreams and visions, we could reduce the
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: dropout rate. But what we're doing is we keep talking
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: to kids about the education, and we're not talking about
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: the kids for the reason for the education. You gotta
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: get your education, because you got to finish school. Finish
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: school for what we have got to take time out
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: to talk about their dreams and visions. I tell parents
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: all the time. If you're not talking to your kids
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: about dreams every ninety days, that's a mistake. Man, that's
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: a mistake because young people change more often than you think.
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: But if you're not revamping your dreams every ninety days
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: as an adult, you're making a mistake because guess what
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: you change also now you know may not change as
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: often as your children, because you become a little bit
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: more subtle when you're older. But you've got to refurbish
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: these dreams. You gotta dust them off. You gotta keep
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: reminding yourself or what the purpose is, because the dream
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: provides purpose. You wake up in the morning because of
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: what you dream to be. You get excited when the
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: lawn clock get our goals off because of what you
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: dream to be. Man, don't let nobody fool you. Now,
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: listen to me. I'm gonna say this again. Education is
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: important and it's critical to certain things in life, but
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: you can actually make it in this world without one. Now,
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: do you need to have some basics under your belt?
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: I strongly suggest you do. And I'm not saying at
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: all that you don't need school, because you do. School
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: offers you a way to become well rounded. That's the
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: thing that school does for you a great deal. It
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: not only educates you, it gives you social skills. It
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: teaches you how to be well rounded. It teaches you
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: now to adapt, It teaches you the tool of memorization.
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: So I'm not knocking it at all. But what I
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: am saying to you, if you are like me in
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: any way and you just not a school person, what
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: you gonna do? You can still be something. If you've
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: blown your education opportunity in life, you can still be something.
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: If you just don't feel like you can do school again,
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: you can still be something. Because the scripture says a
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: man without a dream or vision shall perish. I'm old
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: the Bible inside out. I don't know if I didn't
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: go to theology school anything, so I can't quote it
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: like people can oftentimes. But I don't really don't recall
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: ever going to Sunday School or any service I've ever
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: been to and read a scripture about how necessary your
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: education was. But I have seen repeatedly that a man
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: without a dream or vision shall perish. See the reason
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: you'll die without the dream of the vision, because without
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: the dream of the vision, you'll give up hope. You've
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: heard so many people saying, keep hope alive because it's necessary.
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: The dream, the vision. What you see for yourself, your
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: hope for tomorrow, that impossible thing that nobody else can
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: see except you, that thing that floats around in your imagination,
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: that keeps pushing you to make you think that's something
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: out there other than this. For me, If you wake
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: up in the morning and you keep saying yourself, man,
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: that's got to be more to my life than this,
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: that's because it is. That's because it is. Your visions
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: and dreams are out there. And let me tell you
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: something else. You got to make your dreams and visions
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: so big, so big that it causes you to overcome
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: all of your fears. See the fear of failures in
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: number one cause of failure in this country, because people
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: are afraid to fail. But you have to have dreams
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: and visions so big that it just overcomes all of
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: your fears. You've got to want something so big, so
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: dynamic to happen in your life. Man, that you've got
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: to make this happen, and the fear is secondary to
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: all of it, and it will cause you to push through.
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: You've got to dream of something so outstanding that in
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: order for it to have to in order for it
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: to happen, you absolutely have to have God's help. If
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: you're dreaming of only stuff that you can accomplish yourself,
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: I got news for you. You ain't dreaming big enough.
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: Start dreaming big. Increase your dreams. They would change your life.
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: It would change your perspective. It will cause your hope
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: to grow. All right, those are my closing remarks. All right, Steve,
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: All right, yes y'all have a good with hey, and
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: can I say, have a great week here for all Steve.
