- 1:52Speaker 1: for the phenomenal intro. My man, come on, I'll tell
- 1:56Speaker 1: you something. I'm telling something over t see you one
- 1:59Speaker 1: of these guys, eyes man, that that did you? I
- 2:03Speaker 1: inspire to be until I go to your website, did
- 2:07Speaker 1: I realize that's impossible. That's it possible, that's it possible.
- 2:18Speaker 1: I might I might just stick my head on your
- 2:20Speaker 1: body and call it tonight, because they ain't gonna happen.
- 2:23Speaker 1: Bro't you know Jay Anthony Brown did that one time
- 2:28Speaker 1: my body and he put it and put it put
- 2:31Speaker 1: his hand on my on my body one time a
- 2:33Speaker 1: couple of years ago when I was doing time joining
- 2:34Speaker 1: the show. So it has been done before. But I'm
- 2:38Speaker 1: telling you some brother, you're you're a blessing because really,
- 2:40Speaker 1: you know, I talked about a balanced life and it
- 2:43Speaker 1: all goes back to good health, a good health and
- 2:46Speaker 1: good good lifestyle. And that's the that's the core of
- 2:49Speaker 1: how you operate. Because your popularity on you know, your
- 2:52Speaker 1: powerful social media plan. And then like friends of mine,
- 2:55Speaker 1: like Stephen A. Smith, you know, they they they screamed,
- 2:59Speaker 1: they screen your the positives about you, even the relationship.
- 3:02Speaker 1: When I had Morris on the show, Morris Chest on
- 3:04Speaker 1: the show talking about the book which we are we
- 3:06Speaker 1: will get into detail. It's about what what started all that?
- 3:10Speaker 1: What you know, what started you into this this this
- 3:13Speaker 1: program of fitness? Well you know what. I started off
- 3:16Speaker 1: as an athlete. I was at tracking basketball athlete in
- 3:19Speaker 1: high school and college. I was a school record holder
- 3:22Speaker 1: at cow State Fullerton. I had a hundred or two
- 3:24Speaker 1: months before and the relay. So um, I've always been
- 3:27Speaker 1: an athlete, but I was a skinny, scrawny kid. So
- 3:29Speaker 1: I made fun of um. And so what motivated me
- 3:33Speaker 1: to get in the fitness and sculp my body and
- 3:35Speaker 1: build my body was was being made fun of and
- 3:38Speaker 1: then people saying you're scrawny, you're skinny or whatever. And
- 3:40Speaker 1: so once I was able to build my body, I
- 3:44Speaker 1: just had a huge motivation to desire to want to
- 3:46Speaker 1: help others. And what I try to teach people, it's
- 3:49Speaker 1: not about you trying to look like me. It's trying
- 3:52Speaker 1: to It's about you being the best version of yourself.
- 3:55Speaker 1: Because we all have our own DNA and the reality
- 3:59Speaker 1: is that there's some people will never have my abs
- 4:02Speaker 1: or my biceps in my back, but you can't be
- 4:04Speaker 1: the best version of yourself d N A Y. And
- 4:08Speaker 1: that's what I try to teach scope your best body,
- 4:11Speaker 1: you know what I mean. And that's really important. And
- 4:14Speaker 1: because of the fact that it's about motivation and about
- 4:16Speaker 1: looking in the mirror at you, and it's called you
- 4:18Speaker 1: can win not I ways tell if everybody has a
- 4:21Speaker 1: different story to success. And that's what you're telling me, Rashan.
- 4:24Speaker 1: You know, because we laughed about me saying stick in
- 4:26Speaker 1: my head on your body, rasha that's not your goal.
- 4:28Speaker 1: Your goal is to be the best you. And that's
- 4:30Speaker 1: the motivational factor that keeps everybody you know realized think
- 4:34Speaker 1: can reach it correct. A lot of times people will
- 4:37Speaker 1: quit because they're not able to they're not able to
- 4:41Speaker 1: look like a certain person that quit and they're improving
- 4:46Speaker 1: and they're getting better, but because they're not getting the results,
- 4:49Speaker 1: is someone they see on Instagram, they just quit. And
- 4:52Speaker 1: it always I'm always it always bothers me because I'm
- 4:55Speaker 1: just like, look, you're you have. Everyone has a everyone
- 4:59Speaker 1: has a different DNA what God gave us, and some
- 5:02Speaker 1: of us are never going to look like a Lebron
- 5:04Speaker 1: change or play basketball like him, or have apps like
- 5:07Speaker 1: me or you know, it looked like Morris, you know.
- 5:10Speaker 1: But you can't be the best version of yourself. And
- 5:12Speaker 1: if you if you truly optimize your genetic potential, your
- 5:16Speaker 1: genetic potential, you wont you succeeded. That's that's a that's
- 5:20Speaker 1: a huge accomplishment. Now here's a I wrote this down
- 5:23Speaker 1: so I can I can make this official announcement during
- 5:26Speaker 1: this interview. Obie. The last time you was on the
- 5:29Speaker 1: show was Monday, February twelve. I read your book and
- 5:33Speaker 1: started to die plan in your book that you can,
- 5:35Speaker 1: that you co author with Morris Chestnut, that the cut
- 5:38Speaker 1: lose up to ten pounds in ten days, and scorpure
- 5:41Speaker 1: and sculpture your best body. Now you know I travel
- 5:44Speaker 1: a lot, which impact your diet schedule. But as up today,
- 5:48Speaker 1: O B, I have lost sixteen pounds. WHOA, oh my congratulations.
- 5:56Speaker 1: You said you started February twelve, February twelve, and you
- 6:00Speaker 1: like saying in a lot of traveler that traveling through
- 6:03Speaker 1: I could probably be at twenty. But that traveling throws
- 6:06Speaker 1: you off a little bit because you know, you go
- 6:07Speaker 1: these dinner meetings and you're eating late. But I would
- 6:10Speaker 1: just tell everybody, no excuse, this died works sixteen pounds
- 6:16Speaker 1: my man, under forty five days. Wow. Wow, that's a
- 6:20Speaker 1: huge accomplishment, my brother. I'm so proud of you and
- 6:23Speaker 1: happy for you, man, and that makes me feel good.
- 6:26Speaker 1: I mean, you can't when I hear stuff like that, Rashan,
- 6:29Speaker 1: whether it's you or Stephen Ames, just any average day person.
- 6:32Speaker 1: That's my payment. That's that I got paid. That. That's
- 6:34Speaker 1: what I love. I love to hear that stuff. I
- 6:36Speaker 1: truly love what I do. Um. I really want to
- 6:40Speaker 1: be kind of like the the guy that could really
- 6:43Speaker 1: help improve the health and wellness community in the African
- 6:46Speaker 1: American communities. Primarily, of course, I want to improve everyone's
- 6:49Speaker 1: health and wellness, but African American people, we need this.
- 6:53Speaker 1: You know, we need to educate our brothers and sisters
- 6:56Speaker 1: on on how to be healthier if we want to
- 6:58Speaker 1: be here for our family and our kids and our
- 7:00Speaker 1: grandkids and stuff. You know, let's talk about this because
- 7:03Speaker 1: I want people to understand I have no trainer. Okay,
- 7:06Speaker 1: this is just strictly me h reading the book and
- 7:10Speaker 1: realizing that there's some things in that book that really
- 7:13Speaker 1: struck me differently because you know, I've been in the
- 7:16Speaker 1: entertainment business, to talk show business, the radio business, so
- 7:19Speaker 1: I get a lot of books, obie, a lot of
- 7:21Speaker 1: books on motivation, a lot of books on died and
- 7:24Speaker 1: everybody has the best die. I kid, you not ladies
- 7:27Speaker 1: and gentlemen. I got four people. They bought the book
- 7:31Speaker 1: because they see how much fun I'm having. I can
- 7:35Speaker 1: eat tacos, I can eat my doughnuts. I can. LETNA
- 7:38Speaker 1: tell you something. I lost sixteen pounds this weekend because
- 7:40Speaker 1: I'm a baker Obie and I had. I had two
- 7:43Speaker 1: slices a slice on Saturday of my caramel apple Bocan cheesecake.
- 7:48Speaker 1: On Saturday, I had a slice on Sunday of my
- 7:52Speaker 1: caramel apple call. I had some. I had some chicken salad.
- 7:56Speaker 1: I had some on on a slice of tomato. I
- 7:58Speaker 1: had me someone two in the salad on a slice
- 8:01Speaker 1: of tomato. You know I'm telling something. Your boy overhead
- 8:04Speaker 1: eating for real? You should? You should? You're following the cut.
- 8:13Speaker 1: Hey man, I'm following that cut. Man, I'm calling. I'll
- 8:17Speaker 1: just let you know because you I'm you know you're
- 8:19Speaker 1: going there. You you wear you put your little weight
- 8:22Speaker 1: on that. You know what I'm saying. Did you tell
- 8:24Speaker 1: me buffalo wings? I go to sprouts, get my little
- 8:28Speaker 1: buffalo wings. It's a five. If you can't count the five,
- 8:31Speaker 1: you got a problem. You shouldn't do this. Die. It's
- 8:34Speaker 1: five wings. You definitely you definitely making sure you're using
- 8:38Speaker 1: your you're using as much cheap as possible. My brother,
- 8:41Speaker 1: I'm that was just this wicked wink. I'll just tell you, man,
- 8:45Speaker 1: I am having a great time on this topic because
- 8:47Speaker 1: you said I can do that. You know I'm following it.
- 8:50Speaker 1: I'm following that because you tell me new top it
- 8:53Speaker 1: has recipes see Wavers, Rancher Ros, all that you know,
- 8:58Speaker 1: brand with yoga. I got. My wife looked at my refrigerator. Hey,
- 9:01Speaker 1: I've never seen this refrigerator look like this. Because because
- 9:07Speaker 1: I'm having a good time. So so when I say this,
- 9:09Speaker 1: it might sound extreme, but I've just I read it.
- 9:12Speaker 1: I'm looking at it. I'm sixteen pounds in, dude, sixteen
- 9:15Speaker 1: two oh nine point seven one three point five. I'll dude,
- 9:20Speaker 1: I I love it, man. And the thing about it,
- 9:22Speaker 1: man is then I'm joking around, is that it's a
- 9:25Speaker 1: lot of extreme dieting, extreme exercising. People don't succeed. You
- 9:30Speaker 1: have to give options. You have to give flexibility when
- 9:34Speaker 1: you understand the body and how it works, that you
- 9:37Speaker 1: actually can enjoy and indulge and still lose weight and
- 9:41Speaker 1: manage your weight. Everything is within moderation. Bill Phillips, the
- 9:45Speaker 1: author of Body for Life, which actually motivated me to
- 9:48Speaker 1: create this book with Mars, he said something that I'll
- 9:51Speaker 1: always said, I'll never forget. He said, oh, be it's
- 9:53Speaker 1: all about extreme moderation. That's what it is. And that's
- 9:57Speaker 1: that that's and that's at that's on point. Extreme moderation,
- 9:59Speaker 1: the where you eat extreme mona, you exercise. Because in
- 10:04Speaker 1: the book, you guys don't believe in cheat days. Correct, No, no,
- 10:09Speaker 1: not cheat days, cheap meal cheat If you do a
- 10:11Speaker 1: cheat day, um, you know, like the whole day is
- 10:14Speaker 1: just eating gun you know, you're gonna throw off your cae.
- 10:17Speaker 1: That's that's why I like about this book, see, because
- 10:20Speaker 1: every book always throws that out there. You know, it's
- 10:22Speaker 1: a call a reward day, just go crazy that day.
- 10:25Speaker 1: And that's why I'm just letting you guys know that
- 10:27Speaker 1: when I when I said what I've I've done because
- 10:29Speaker 1: I'm just telling you about me. Oh, I'm a guy
- 10:31Speaker 1: who got crispykree, I got a Christma Crean app dude
- 10:35Speaker 1: on my phone. Okay, so no, you're dealing with the
- 10:39Speaker 1: dude that likes his sweets so so so I can't
- 10:43Speaker 1: shut down Rashan McDonald because it guess what the dits
- 10:46Speaker 1: not real. I'm telling my staff, you know, you know,
- 10:48Speaker 1: because they ask me, I'm gonna just go. I gotta
- 10:51Speaker 1: be real with Jobie. I gotta be real about who
- 10:53Speaker 1: I am. Okay, Okay, I'm not an extra I'm not
- 10:56Speaker 1: an exercising guy. You know. I get winded man going
- 10:59Speaker 1: up steps. Okay, I'm gonna get the top of that
- 11:02Speaker 1: eight steps. I get to the top. If I do
- 11:04Speaker 1: them briskly, it's gonna be a problem at the top. Okay.
- 11:09Speaker 1: So so I know that you you you I'm a
- 11:11Speaker 1: I'm a good candidate for you because because I'm just
- 11:15Speaker 1: being real, I think I'm the real guy. I'm the
- 11:17Speaker 1: guy that goes out there. I'm not trying to when
- 11:19Speaker 1: I when I looked at your book, I saw that
- 11:21Speaker 1: so you and your mars and they're doing them push
- 11:23Speaker 1: ups and lifted And I get up at four third
- 11:26Speaker 1: in the morning. You know, I sit on my sofa,
- 11:29Speaker 1: you know, because it's what anybody get before three in
- 11:31Speaker 1: the morning. You're not really motivated. You're just trying to
- 11:34Speaker 1: get up, okay. And so I said, I sit on
- 11:37Speaker 1: the sofa trying to figure out why am I up. Okay.
- 11:40Speaker 1: I always asked myself why am I up? And then I, okay,
- 11:42Speaker 1: you up, because you're supposed to get up with you.
- 11:44Speaker 1: Then I go downstairs and I get on the scale.
- 11:46Speaker 1: It's the first thing I do. I get on the
- 11:47Speaker 1: scale so I can know where I'm what I'm operating at.
- 11:50Speaker 1: And then I do I do sit ups, and then
- 11:53Speaker 1: I do dips, and I do butterflies, I do pull downs,
- 11:59Speaker 1: and that's it, dude. Yeah, yeah, absolutely. Eight percent of
- 12:05Speaker 1: weight loss and weight management is the diet. You know,
- 12:08Speaker 1: you really don't have to exercise seven days a week
- 12:11Speaker 1: or six days a week to get the body you on.
- 12:14Speaker 1: And the fact that you're following the book to the letter,
- 12:17Speaker 1: um and you're losing the amount of what you're doing
- 12:19Speaker 1: is it's really I love hearing that. It's a blessed.
- 12:21Speaker 1: It's just I love hearing that, seriously. So I appreciate
- 12:25Speaker 1: you trusting in me and taking a risk and chance
- 12:27Speaker 1: and trying it. You know, well, I got to tell
- 12:29Speaker 1: you the book. I want you to tell everybody about
- 12:33Speaker 1: the book. You know a little bit more in detail.
- 12:35Speaker 1: It's called The Cut. You know. It was a bestseller,
- 12:37Speaker 1: number one, number two on Amazon when it came out.
- 12:40Speaker 1: You should be buying that book right now. Is in
- 12:42Speaker 1: the first quarter where people always talking about they got
- 12:45Speaker 1: these resolutions to lose weight. What this is the book
- 12:47Speaker 1: to lose Roushan didn't have a resolution. I read the
- 12:50Speaker 1: book and I'm sixteen pounds in and I'm gonna tell
- 12:52Speaker 1: y'all something. The only problem I'm having this close. That's
- 12:57Speaker 1: what happened that I got. I got closed issues. You know,
- 12:59Speaker 1: I told my staffy'all see, you're gonna be watching. They're
- 13:01Speaker 1: gonna be look at me where a lot of stuff
- 13:02Speaker 1: repeat outfits it until I get my right, you know,
- 13:05Speaker 1: because I'm gonna go out that bye till I trust myself.
- 13:08Speaker 1: You know, right now, I'm a sixteen you feel I'm
- 13:11Speaker 1: saying over you know, I gotta trust myself. You know,
- 13:13Speaker 1: I'm gonna put bragging on the radio right now. You know,
- 13:16Speaker 1: Mike blow up next month, you know what I'm saying.
- 13:18Speaker 1: But as long as I stay in this book, I
- 13:20Speaker 1: know I'm gonna keep winning because because that's that's the
- 13:23Speaker 1: whole process. And when you when you what advice you
- 13:26Speaker 1: would you give a person to me? Right now, I'm
- 13:28Speaker 1: sitting at sixteen, what advice would you give me, Obie.
- 13:32Speaker 1: The best advice that I would tell you, man, is that, um,
- 13:36Speaker 1: this is a lifestyle. Is It's like brushing your teeth
- 13:40Speaker 1: and taking a shower. Just look at it, if you
- 13:43Speaker 1: can look at it that way, like I have to
- 13:45Speaker 1: do it because this is daily hiking. You know, it's
- 13:48Speaker 1: not it's not it's not a fat it's not a
- 13:51Speaker 1: new year, it's not a it's not a resolution. This
- 13:54Speaker 1: is my life, you know, and that's just how you
- 13:56Speaker 1: have to have it. It's sometimes I don't want to
- 13:58Speaker 1: work out, I'm gonna fin like I'm not. I don't
- 14:00Speaker 1: want to do it today, you know what I mean?
- 14:02Speaker 1: Like I've been doing it more than half of my life.

- 16:36Speaker 1: chair olds, you can need Uh, carne taco, steak, turkey, chicken.
- 16:40Speaker 1: You know, they have these little cheap meals that you
- 16:42Speaker 1: can do it that like I talked about, but small,
- 16:43Speaker 1: you know, fried chicken and all that, all those things.
- 16:46Speaker 1: So I went out there and I shopped, and I'll
- 16:49Speaker 1: tell you something, man, the food that I normally would have,
- 16:52Speaker 1: that I normally buy lasted me for three weeks. And
- 16:55Speaker 1: some stuff I had to go away, had to throw
- 16:57Speaker 1: away because they let me know I was too much. Right, Yeah, absolutely,
- 17:04Speaker 1: that's what happened. Sometimes when you start to eat healthy,
- 17:06Speaker 1: sometimes it feels like, man, I can't eat. I can't
- 17:09Speaker 1: finish all this food. You know, because it's true nutrients,
- 17:12Speaker 1: it's not dense nutrients. We know all the thing about
- 17:15Speaker 1: it was like I can started asking myself, why why
- 17:18Speaker 1: am I eating all this food? And your book, your
- 17:21Speaker 1: book helped me understand that I wanted. I wanted to
- 17:24Speaker 1: say that I can't say extreme. This is extreme turnt.
- 17:28Speaker 1: I was killing myself because I was just putting stuff
- 17:31Speaker 1: in my body my body didn't even need. And here's
- 17:34Speaker 1: the here's the cool thing about it. And I gotta
- 17:36Speaker 1: tell everybody me losing that when I got down to
- 17:39Speaker 1: tin my workouts got easier because guess what, I wasn't
- 17:42Speaker 1: working out with ten pounds. When I got down to
- 17:45Speaker 1: fifteen my workouts in fact, you know, I went from
- 17:48Speaker 1: three reps to four and some of them I was
- 17:51Speaker 1: doing on dips I was doing I was doing fifteen.
- 17:54Speaker 1: I went to per set because I was lighter. You
- 17:59Speaker 1: were lighter, you more and you had more energy, You
- 18:01Speaker 1: had more endurance. And that's what happens when you when
- 18:04Speaker 1: you were leaning. When you drop more weight, you're able
- 18:07Speaker 1: to you have more energy to function throughout the day.
- 18:09Speaker 1: And so um, that's all part of the process, you know,
- 18:13Speaker 1: and and the whole exercise thing. And you start with
- 18:15Speaker 1: what you can do. That's why you have we at
- 18:17Speaker 1: the beginner and the intermediate and the advance, and you
- 18:20Speaker 1: got the gym and home exercise so you can pick
- 18:23Speaker 1: you know what what is uh? You know what's convenient
- 18:26Speaker 1: for your lifestyle. I know I knew you weren't ready
- 18:28Speaker 1: for the Obie. I know you were ready for you
- 18:30Speaker 1: just a tip you call to do an interview with
- 18:32Speaker 1: well on my show. You wouldn't ready for me. Just
- 18:34Speaker 1: smash you with sixteen pounds. Laws you wouldn't ready. You
- 18:37Speaker 1: know what man, I was. I was not ready for that. Man.
- 18:40Speaker 1: I thought maybe you stupid about a week or two,
- 18:42Speaker 1: and then then you call the day man. So I'm
- 18:44Speaker 1: just flattered and arnored. Man. You you're following through. Man.
- 18:47Speaker 1: The fact that you dropped that amount of waiting such
- 18:49Speaker 1: a short amount of time is U is really uh
- 18:52Speaker 1: makes me feel really good because it works ten pounds
- 18:54Speaker 1: a pound of day. That's called the cut. Let's just
- 18:56Speaker 1: talk about you some of your nutrition supplements that you've created.
- 19:01Speaker 1: I just started a new supplement line called Obi Strong
- 19:04Speaker 1: and with a couple of business partners in mind. The
- 19:06Speaker 1: reason why I decided to do it because I was
- 19:08Speaker 1: disgusted with the supplement industry in general, uh, the fraud
- 19:12Speaker 1: and the fillers and the overloaded of stimulants. And I
- 19:16Speaker 1: stopped taking supplements a couple of years ago because I
- 19:18Speaker 1: couldn't trust the ingredients in the products. And I really
- 19:21Speaker 1: want to make the industry better. Um, And so I
- 19:24Speaker 1: decided to start this line with some business partners of mine,
- 19:27Speaker 1: and natural natural ingredient line that had no stimulants onceoever.
- 19:33Speaker 1: UM all the all of the ingredients are all natural,
- 19:36Speaker 1: gluten free, low sodium, low sugar, UM and everyone loves
- 19:41Speaker 1: the products. We have a Obie Slim. It's an appetite
- 19:44Speaker 1: suppressing supplement that has a digestive enzyme blend that actually
- 19:48Speaker 1: allows you to absorb all of the nutrients and helps
- 19:50Speaker 1: the digest properly and it prevents you from overeating. It
- 19:54Speaker 1: signals your body. And we had I have a lady
- 19:57Speaker 1: that I lost twenty pounds in one month taking Obie
- 19:59Speaker 1: Slim along with my diet and all the only exercise
- 20:02Speaker 1: he did was walk walk with me. We got way protein,
- 20:07Speaker 1: we got Obi Stein pre workout, no jitters whatsoever, and
- 20:11Speaker 1: Obi Healthy Heart. In fact, Dominique Wilkins he takes our products.
- 20:14Speaker 1: He loved it. And he's not sponsored at all, but
- 20:17Speaker 1: he tried it out and he loved it and gave
- 20:18Speaker 1: it to the Atlanta Hawks and stuff, and so Morris
- 20:20Speaker 1: loves it. Um. So we're gonna blow this thing up,
- 20:23Speaker 1: this whole Obie Strong thing. So I'm very excited about it,
- 20:26Speaker 1: and so work. Where can he find a product? Go
- 20:31Speaker 1: to Obi strong dot com, o b I strong dot
- 20:34Speaker 1: com and and and just go go to obi strong
- 20:37Speaker 1: dot com to check out our supplement products. You know,
- 20:40Speaker 1: And I'll never tell anybody to buy the supplements and
- 20:43Speaker 1: and don't exercise, and and and and and and eat right.
- 20:46Speaker 1: That's anyone that tells you that that's fraudulent. You know,
- 20:48Speaker 1: you still have to do all the right things. The
- 20:51Speaker 1: supplement is meant to assist you. That's what it's meant
- 20:53Speaker 1: to do, assist, not replace eating food. And that's why
- 20:56Speaker 1: I was just that's why I wanted you just keep
- 20:58Speaker 1: telling everybody that I've I've done this being a regular guy,
- 21:02Speaker 1: a regular guy, because a lot of people can look
- 21:03Speaker 1: at me at being a celebrity and oh, you know what,
- 21:05Speaker 1: Sean probably got a trainer. No I don't, No, I don't.
- 21:07Speaker 1: I don't have a trainer. No. This book allowed me
- 21:10Speaker 1: to be Rashwan and figuring myself out and figure out
- 21:14Speaker 1: who Sean was out and lose weight accordingly. That's what
- 21:17Speaker 1: you were saying at the very beginning of the interview.
- 21:19Speaker 1: Don't be o B B. Rashaw. It's about every day
- 21:23Speaker 1: It's about transforming every day real people. That's what it's about.
- 21:26Speaker 1: Of course, myself and Morrison on the cover, and Morris
- 21:29Speaker 1: is kind of the the guinea pig, but it's really
- 21:31Speaker 1: about you know. That's why we did a focus group
- 21:33Speaker 1: on regular people on the back of the cover because
- 21:35Speaker 1: people can identify with a regular, every day after day person.
- 21:39Speaker 1: Then maybe some celebrity out there that got in shape
- 21:41Speaker 1: for a movie. And that's what it's you know, Um,
- 21:44Speaker 1: you know you've had me on your show, and I
- 21:46Speaker 1: really appreciate you having me on your show. I love that.
- 21:49Speaker 1: I love the interview you on my show called Lifestyle Magazine.
- 21:55Speaker 1: And I was just telling you that brother ain't ready
- 21:57Speaker 1: to take your shirt off, that bro like that know this,
- 22:00Speaker 1: this isn't a fitness show. We're gonna look, look, I'm
- 22:02Speaker 1: gonna be suited up interviewing your Okay, they'll be busting
- 22:07Speaker 1: the movie on network and we wanted we love to
- 22:10Speaker 1: interview you on your career and and your weight loss,
- 22:14Speaker 1: Durney and how you feel about you know, and that's
- 22:17Speaker 1: what it's about. Man Um, what tell us talking about?
- 22:20Speaker 1: Tell us about the show. Tell us about the show
- 22:21Speaker 1: because it's exciting and I will do your show. Do
- 22:24Speaker 1: you have to travel to Los Angeles? Yeah, we would have.
- 22:27Speaker 1: We would fly you out to California to uh, you
- 22:30Speaker 1: know the interview you if if you if that was
- 22:32Speaker 1: something I've really just spread the gospel, not only about
- 22:37Speaker 1: my career, but also the fact that I'm telling the
- 22:39Speaker 1: truth about my weight loss. I cannot tell you that,
- 22:44Speaker 1: you know. And when I talk to people, I b
- 22:46Speaker 1: belt loop. I got a belt on now I couldn't wear, okay, Yeah,
- 22:50Speaker 1: and it's and it's three dep on the on the
- 22:52Speaker 1: little hole I couldn't wear, you know. I put it
- 22:55Speaker 1: on that and I'm trying to make that first hole.
- 22:58Speaker 1: You know. What I'm saying, and I'm going to is uncomfortable.
- 23:00Speaker 1: Stop food stop, okay, because because you're like when I
- 23:04Speaker 1: went I went and went to Hollywood twenty years ago,
- 23:07Speaker 1: I weighed okay, and then you got around those craft
- 23:11Speaker 1: service tables and they're free lunches and everything. And I
- 23:14Speaker 1: got this. I got as high as two twenty, you know,
- 23:18Speaker 1: and then so I level back down, you know, and
- 23:21Speaker 1: I got my life back right In the last couple
- 23:23Speaker 1: of years, I've been standing around at two nine, two
- 23:26Speaker 1: oh nine to eleven, okay, And so so to get
- 23:29Speaker 1: this book, and I'm telling everybody, I am so comfortable
- 23:33Speaker 1: with my life. Now, I'm looking at food differently. I'm saying,
- 23:37Speaker 1: I'm eat nuts in my life on salted nuts, almonds
- 23:40Speaker 1: that's in the book. You know, I enjoyed that I
- 23:44Speaker 1: eat Ball Eggs brand brand cereal with yogurt. That these
- 23:50Speaker 1: are things I would not have done. But guess what
- 23:52Speaker 1: they taste good. And here's the crazy thing abouty When
- 23:54Speaker 1: I fly, they're passing out nuts and they're like, I
- 23:57Speaker 1: don't eat it. They passed. That's notte And what happens
- 24:03Speaker 1: is you you start to become more educated on what
- 24:05Speaker 1: you can do. Right. You know, you're you're you're educating
- 24:09Speaker 1: yourself as you're following the book in terms of what
- 24:11Speaker 1: you can eat, what you can amazing, you know, as
- 24:14Speaker 1: far as the flexible options and um, you know, the
- 24:16Speaker 1: whole lifestyle magazine. I've interviewed Steve, We've interviewed Steven A. Smith,
- 24:20Speaker 1: Kevin Sorbill, Alan Sick before he died, Morris Chestnut, um,
- 24:23Speaker 1: and we we love to have you man. And it's, uh,
- 24:25Speaker 1: you know, everyone's dressed up in a suit, everyone's dressed
- 24:28Speaker 1: you know, I got you know, I got to know you.
- 24:31Speaker 1: I thought you just let me talking about that too now.
- 24:36Speaker 1: But I thought you're gonna have me coming out there
- 24:37Speaker 1: look like that cover. I put all kind of baby
- 24:42Speaker 1: all on my body. I tried, no, no, no, you
- 24:46Speaker 1: know what. You know what I love that show man
- 24:48Speaker 1: is the fact that I am dressed up in the
- 24:50Speaker 1: I'm not saying it. Broden, my my brand, you know,
- 24:54Speaker 1: and uh I love being able to tell other people's
- 24:57Speaker 1: stories and stuff. So it would be an honor to
- 24:59Speaker 1: have you. We shoot the next season in May, and
- 25:05Speaker 1: you know producers would fly you out, you know, get
- 25:07Speaker 1: you in and get you out. You can talk to
- 25:09Speaker 1: Stephen A. Smith. You know he had a great time.
- 25:12Speaker 1: You gotta tell me, brother, I'm on this show because
- 25:15Speaker 1: guess what, I am part of your brand. Now you
- 25:17Speaker 1: know I'm part of I'm I'm I'm part of the
