- 0:13Speaker 1: giving them like the milling bus bus things and it's
- 0:19Speaker 1: not true. Good Steve to mother, start joy. You gotta
- 0:59Speaker 1: use that turn running arm. You gotta turn to turn
- 1:41Speaker 1: them out, turning, got to turn them out to turn
- 1:46Speaker 1: turn the water the water. Come come on your baby,
- 2:01Speaker 1: Uh huh, I sure will A good morning everybody. You're
- 2:05Speaker 1: listening to the voice, Come on now, dig me want
- 2:09Speaker 1: and only Steve Harvey got what radio show man? What
- 2:16Speaker 1: you're doing with it? Trying to do the very very
- 2:18Speaker 1: best I can with it? I really am. You know,
- 2:21Speaker 1: I get tired sometimes on my journey. I'm not gonna
- 2:25Speaker 1: kid you. UM. Trying to make something about yourself is
- 2:30Speaker 1: a task. UM. If you want to attempt to do
- 2:35Speaker 1: something and and and understand going in that that. If
- 2:41Speaker 1: the thing you're trying to do is to improve yourself,
- 2:45Speaker 1: to better your position, to better your relationship, your family, anything,
- 2:51Speaker 1: you're trying to be a better you. You're trying to
- 2:55Speaker 1: make more money, you're trying to get it together, you're
- 2:59Speaker 1: trying to change if any of those things are in
- 3:03Speaker 1: your hopes and dreams. Know this right here, you are
- 3:09Speaker 1: about to face some challenges. But you might as well
- 3:13Speaker 1: go ahead anyway and face those challenges, because if you don't,
- 3:18Speaker 1: you have a whole other set of challenges to face.
- 3:22Speaker 1: You know, it's a it's a it's an amazing thing. Man.
- 3:25Speaker 1: How people sit around and they watch other people strike
- 3:29Speaker 1: out to become successful. They sit in the stands watching
- 3:33Speaker 1: these people play out these games, and they and they,
- 3:36Speaker 1: and they criticize, They boo, they laugh at their efforts
- 3:39Speaker 1: and everything, and they talk about the fairies. He missed
- 3:43Speaker 1: that game when it shot. Boy, he sucked. Man, he
- 3:46Speaker 1: did this. He ain't worth that. I hear people who
- 3:51Speaker 1: sit and stands who criticize people who are out there
- 3:56Speaker 1: on the playing field. Now, when you're on the playing field,
- 4:01Speaker 1: you have a set of challenges in front of you.
- 4:04Speaker 1: You're going to be open to criticism. You're going to
- 4:07Speaker 1: be open to ridicule. You're going to be talked about
- 4:11Speaker 1: when you don't know the people who are talking about you.
- 4:16Speaker 1: Now here's the upside to being the player on the
- 4:22Speaker 1: field that's facing all the challenges, to criticisms, the laughing,
- 4:26Speaker 1: the joke, to being talked about he has something going
- 4:31Speaker 1: for him. This person, boy, woman, child, girl, man has
- 4:39Speaker 1: an opportunity to win. They have an opportunity to win.
- 4:45Speaker 1: And then the game of life. Just because you lose
- 4:50Speaker 1: one of the games, or you lose one of the matches,
- 4:54Speaker 1: it don't mean you've lost. You don't get put out.
- 4:57Speaker 1: You keep playing. When you're playing, here's the upside. You
- 5:03Speaker 1: have the opportunity to win. And but guess what, You're
- 5:06Speaker 1: gonna win some of the matches. You're gonna win some
- 5:09Speaker 1: of the points. You're gonna make some of the dunks.
- 5:11Speaker 1: You're gonna hit some of them over the wall. You're
- 5:12Speaker 1: gonna hit some of them out the park. You're gonna
- 5:15Speaker 1: score some goals. You will if you're playing the game.
- 5:20Speaker 1: Here's the problem with the people who don't face criticism,
- 5:26Speaker 1: who nobody boos or cheers for, who sits in the
- 5:30Speaker 1: stands and knows neither victory nor defeat. Those people, without
- 5:38Speaker 1: realizing it, are facing a set of challenges also. And
- 5:43Speaker 1: the challenges they're facing is how I'm gonna live with myself?
- 5:49Speaker 1: What I'm gonna do? Now? What direction am I going in?
- 5:57Speaker 1: Where am I gonna live? Wonder what job will hire me?
- 6:05Speaker 1: Wonder if I can get paid for criticizing all woe
- 6:10Speaker 1: is me. I can't find the purpose in my life.
- 6:16Speaker 1: And man, I'm just waking up in a state of confusion.
- 6:19Speaker 1: I don't know what to do. Now, let me ask
- 6:22Speaker 1: you something which one of them said, of challenges you
- 6:25Speaker 1: rather be faced with. Because if I'm on the flow playing,
- 6:29Speaker 1: if I'm on the field playing, if I'm out on
- 6:32Speaker 1: the court playing, then guess what I got a chance
- 6:36Speaker 1: at winning? But guess what I'm doing every day while
- 6:39Speaker 1: I'm playing. I'm strategizing. I'm waking up with a purpose.
- 6:43Speaker 1: I'm waking up trying to come up with another angle.
- 6:48Speaker 1: I'm in pursuit of a goal every single day. Versus
- 6:54Speaker 1: the people in the stands who know neither victory nor defeat.
- 7:04Speaker 1: Get in the game. Face the challenges. Better yourself, better
- 7:09Speaker 1: your wife, better your children, better your condition, better your
- 7:12Speaker 1: employment status, better your job, better your career. Take a shot.
- 7:16Speaker 1: Come on, man, what you're waiting on? Because the alternative
- 7:20Speaker 1: is to watch other people play the game? You know?
- 7:24Speaker 1: And I just do Sometimes Sometimes I just I get
- 7:27Speaker 1: Forbes magazine or Money magazine, or sometimes I still grab
- 7:32Speaker 1: a copy of rob Report. I just flipped through it
- 7:35Speaker 1: just to see. I used to get these this book
- 7:38Speaker 1: called Unique Homes. Unique Homes is a magazine that just
- 7:42Speaker 1: has a lot of extravagant houses that's on sale across
- 7:45Speaker 1: the country, across the world. I used to flip through. Man,
- 7:49Speaker 1: let me just see, man, what the people that's playing
- 7:52Speaker 1: the game out there doing. Stop watching other people become
- 7:56Speaker 1: successful when you could very easily be you if you
- 8:00Speaker 1: make the decision. But when you make the decision to
- 8:03Speaker 1: become successful, get ready for a series of challenges. I
- 8:07Speaker 1: think it's more difficult not to accept the challenge. I
- 8:12Speaker 1: think it's for me. This is just for me. It
- 8:14Speaker 1: may not be the case for you. For me, I
- 8:16Speaker 1: think it's far more difficult to wake up and just
- 8:19Speaker 1: see how life gonna go today, because man, it could
- 8:21Speaker 1: just deal you any kind of hand today. You understand,
- 8:27Speaker 1: I don't like, you know, spades. Let's let's talk a
- 8:31Speaker 1: card game, folks, the game of spades. Really, man, it
- 8:34Speaker 1: ain't a whole lot you can do if you don't
- 8:36Speaker 1: get no spades. Really, it's a little couple of little
- 8:39Speaker 1: strategies you're gonna do. But you can have all this
- 8:42Speaker 1: age keen Queen Diamond, all you want. But man, you
- 8:44Speaker 1: ain't got no spades. They're cutting them. You're in trouble.
- 8:48Speaker 1: Be it whist different game. You can create what's in
- 8:52Speaker 1: your hand. You got dealt a hand too, But you
- 8:55Speaker 1: can create a hand. You can call a trump. You
- 8:58Speaker 1: can make diamonds your spades. You can make it hard
- 9:01Speaker 1: to clubs your spades. That's what I'm saying. That's what
- 9:04Speaker 1: it is. You can do something with it. It's a
- 9:06Speaker 1: different game, man. You can strategize. I would rather have
- 9:09Speaker 1: a say so in my life than to wake up
- 9:11Speaker 1: every day and just see how it's going. I think
- 9:14Speaker 1: it's more difficult to not accept the challenge to be
- 9:17Speaker 1: something than it is to accept the challenge to be something.
- 9:21Speaker 1: I think it's more difficult to sit around and not
- 9:23Speaker 1: be nothing. I think it's harder to watch everybody's life
- 9:26Speaker 1: going somewhere but mine. I think it would be very
- 9:29Speaker 1: difficult for me to sit here and hear them talking
- 9:32Speaker 1: about other people and never mention my name. I would
- 9:34Speaker 1: be difficult for me to see everybody rise and getting
- 9:37Speaker 1: promotions accept me. That would be difficult for me. It
- 9:41Speaker 1: may not be for you, but for me it would
- 9:43Speaker 1: be quite challenging. I would rather accept the challenge of
- 9:46Speaker 1: making something out of my life than to sit there
- 9:49Speaker 1: and criticize those and then watch and see how my
- 9:53Speaker 1: life just may go. Okay, just a thought. Today you're listening, ladies.
- 10:04Speaker 1: Uh I. Normally I would say ladies and gentlemen, boys
- 10:07Speaker 1: and girls, but not today. Ladies. Welcome to the Steve
- 10:10Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Fellas we own. Boys and girls, go
- 10:16Speaker 1: to your wound. Definitely, this boss to get ignority today
- 10:22Speaker 1: is about to be one of them. Oh the day
- 10:27Speaker 1: are you gonna embarrass me? Steve? You know what, Sherley,
- 10:30Speaker 1: I think I am today. Today is gonna be the
- 10:32Speaker 1: day that I dedicate almost everything I say to embarrassing Sherley.
- 10:37Speaker 1: We're gonna do ask the CEO today, okay, and we'll
- 10:42Speaker 1: also ask motivational questions from the crew. That's the only
- 10:46Speaker 1: time I try to be serious, okay. But other than that, though,
- 10:50Speaker 1: let it rain, I'm gonna be embarrassing today. As much
- 10:56Speaker 1: as Tommy is stupid, I ain't, Man, that's a high.
- 11:01Speaker 1: I'm talking about the degree I quit today. Man, it
- 11:06Speaker 1: might yeah, I don't know. We can take all that
- 11:11Speaker 1: in the emergency room. They call it cold ran. Let's
- 11:14Speaker 1: go there. Let's go. I will be answering any questions today,
- 11:21Speaker 1: any questions at all. Okay, we are going to hell.
- 11:25Speaker 1: You can ask me a serious question. You can ask
- 11:28Speaker 1: me an opinional, opinionated question. All things are open and
- 11:33Speaker 1: fair game today. All right, stupid, too cool, let's go, Tommy.
- 11:38Speaker 1: All your questions is most us okay? Okay, and I
- 11:41Speaker 1: and I embraced that. That's the problem. All right, y'all
- 11:46Speaker 1: want to start it? Y'all scared? What's happening? We jumping
- 11:49Speaker 1: it off off the time? Yeah, I didn't do it
- 11:52Speaker 1: right here, so well you know you you know it
- 11:55Speaker 1: ain't no time like right now? You know, Okay, when
- 11:59Speaker 1: I start off the it's Timmy for show ugly then
- 12:02Speaker 1: they just start damn show how it really ain't even
- 12:10Speaker 1: I don't know why he fights it because he ugly
- 12:13Speaker 1: for real this all week though, No, but it's coming.
- 12:17Speaker 1: That's not gonna be ugly all week. Tommy, You're not ugly?
- 12:21Speaker 1: Thank you say talking? She always trying to take up
- 12:25Speaker 1: self right right, Jilly? Don't thank you Sean either. Well
- 12:30Speaker 1: that's a little false. Well now, Steve, wait a minute,
- 12:33Speaker 1: I can speak for myself here. Well, he ain't got
- 12:36Speaker 1: to be really funny looking. It's still at the same spot. Okay,
- 12:39Speaker 1: we'll go with funny looking strange. Okay, Tommy, let's take
- 12:45Speaker 1: ugly off the table. Matter. He's married. He's having strange
- 12:49Speaker 1: looking but they ain't got nothing to do. A lot
- 12:51Speaker 1: of strange looking people married. Well, he had to find
- 12:54Speaker 1: someone to marry him, his wife. It's what he needs
- 12:58Speaker 1: to be grateful for right there. That's why he needs
- 13:03Speaker 1: to be I need to be praising him for that.
- 13:07Speaker 1: Especially that girl you wouldn't got. I don't know what
- 13:09Speaker 1: she was thinking. Surely she could have done better. Are
- 13:17Speaker 1: you crushing man? Yeah? That's hill. Yeah, Steve, I told
- 13:20Speaker 1: you about crushing people. What I tell y'all was gonna
- 13:23Speaker 1: be to day show. Come on, I tell y'all was
- 13:25Speaker 1: going to embarrass you to ye. Yeah, and you're doing
- 13:27Speaker 1: get started at the gate. Yeah, we'll be back with
- 13:30Speaker 1: moti Is. Steve, tell me that when we come back,
- 13:36Speaker 1: I'll tell you that I take come on here and
- 13:38Speaker 1: ask me you're listening show. Well, now, anyone in a
- 13:46Speaker 1: relationship knows that no matter how much you love someone,
- 13:50Speaker 1: you know, kissy, kissy, smoochie, all of that, how much
- 13:53Speaker 1: you love them, there are things about them that get
- 13:56Speaker 1: on your nerves. Okay, I redded Pole asked, what's the
- 14:00Speaker 1: one thing you wish you could say to your spouse
- 14:03Speaker 1: or your mate but you cannot bring yourself to say
- 14:06Speaker 1: it because you know it's gonna cost World War three?
- 14:11Speaker 1: Up in there some head, you know, like little bitty
- 14:14Speaker 1: gripes like we can just go with that. I've got
- 14:17Speaker 1: all right. Oh why don't you shut up? Oh? Uh, okay,
- 14:22Speaker 1: let me, that's not me. Let me just let me.
- 14:26Speaker 1: Let me ask this question before you jump the gun.
- 14:29Speaker 1: Mister Harvey, you say it what you want to say,
- 14:34Speaker 1: but you don't say because you skate it to your
- 14:38Speaker 1: spouse or your mate or your significant other? Did you
- 14:41Speaker 1: miss your part? Is there something you want to say
- 14:45Speaker 1: to your wife your significant other but you're too scared
- 14:48Speaker 1: to say? I'll say it one more time. Why is
- 14:51Speaker 1: my answer not sufficient? It's not that it's not sufficient.
- 14:56Speaker 1: You got a lot of aggression on you. Yes, are
- 14:58Speaker 1: you serious? R don't act like y'all see what killed me?
- 15:04Speaker 1: Not not now here? The two foods. All of a sudden,
- 15:06Speaker 1: it's concerned that I totally agree with you. This is
- 15:10Speaker 1: the time I definitely agree with you. Say what this
- 15:14Speaker 1: is about? Every man wants to say that, and that's
- 15:17Speaker 1: what I say. For the say do you wait? So
- 15:20Speaker 1: what do you as the only wife here? Do you
- 15:22Speaker 1: guys think that Nesta wants to say that to me
- 15:28Speaker 1: with everything in him? You know what you want to say? Sir?
- 15:32Speaker 1: When the hell you gonna cook something round here that
- 15:35Speaker 1: ain't gonna kill me? No? Surely what he has thought that? Yeah,
- 15:42Speaker 1: he thought that. Really? Okay, then, believe it or not,
- 15:50Speaker 1: there are times in a relationship, and I've been in
- 15:52Speaker 1: a line when a man really don't want to hear
- 15:54Speaker 1: what you got to say at all, at all at all. Okay,
- 16:00Speaker 1: now I understand, I get that, okay, But to say
- 16:04Speaker 1: it like you said, it's what you say? No you say,
- 16:08Speaker 1: I said, it is something you want to say to
- 16:11Speaker 1: your wife? What you to your wife? Or spout? But
- 16:15Speaker 1: you can't be cause you're skating right you just this
- 16:23Speaker 1: is what my husband is thinking all the time. Not
- 16:29Speaker 1: all the time, Shelly, We thought that when y'all be right,
- 16:36Speaker 1: there's something I want to say. No, come on, are
- 16:41Speaker 1: we ever gonna do it? When I want to do? Huh?
- 16:46Speaker 1: You the one pick and choose all the damn time. Hey,
- 16:51Speaker 1: that's yeah. Wow, you guys really have stuff on your
- 16:57Speaker 1: You said what I want, yes, but you're afraid to
- 17:01Speaker 1: say it. I didn't think you would say that. Okay,
- 17:04Speaker 1: I got one, every man. I want to say what
- 17:07Speaker 1: you think you can cook that meal? But you cannot.
- 17:12Speaker 1: You ain't never got it right? The hatred that I
- 17:21Speaker 1: have built right now for you guys, I think we
- 17:24Speaker 1: have not said it all right, come on, see you
- 17:27Speaker 1: have more dang something you want to say to your wife,
- 17:31Speaker 1: a significant other that that that you're too scared to say. Oh,
- 17:35Speaker 1: just like your mom? God, I got one? Okay, yeah,
- 17:50Speaker 1: Tommy first, just because you have any damn hot flashes
- 17:53Speaker 1: don't mean I don't have it. Okay, m M, I
- 17:59Speaker 1: got one. I can Yes, that dress makes your butt
- 18:04Speaker 1: look bid? Okay, yes, No, I don't want to hear
- 18:12Speaker 1: that I got one? What what? Hell? No? Like what
- 18:18Speaker 1: you got on? But we gotta get out of here
- 18:20Speaker 1: because we laid already. She's only changed baby. You like this?
- 18:28Speaker 1: Oh yeah, come on? Yeah? We God, oh you you
- 18:31Speaker 1: nailed it. That's it. Right now we're saying, we're saying
- 18:36Speaker 1: what we want to see this. How scared you are?
- 18:42Speaker 1: You're trying to man. Okay, let me make some hear here.
- 18:47Speaker 1: The girl I had for we got married, knew how
- 18:50Speaker 1: to cook some damn going about Tom Man. You can't
- 18:56Speaker 1: say that now, but you can say what you see.
- 19:01Speaker 1: It's all the same, Harold, sh I'm fool I got one.
- 19:08Speaker 1: Wait till I've seen that. So okay, I got one.
- 19:12Speaker 1: Every man is wonder stand you ask me if she's fine,
- 19:16Speaker 1: and now my answer, yes, she is fine. Hell So
- 19:27Speaker 1: this is what you guys are holding in. Okay, all right?
- 19:31Speaker 1: Is there something you want to say to your wife
- 19:33Speaker 1: or significant other that you're too afraid to say? Uh, steve,
- 19:37Speaker 1: anything else to get off your dress? What? I guess
- 19:41Speaker 1: you got one right quick time. I don't love you
- 19:46Speaker 1: like that. I don't don't I don't love you like
- 19:48Speaker 1: that right right there. I don't love you like that.
- 19:52Speaker 1: I'm just taking one. Yes, that's what. Yes? Oh god,
- 19:59Speaker 1: Oh I wish I never had met Hills. I got
- 20:06Speaker 1: one to close it out of the zoo. I wish
- 20:08Speaker 1: I had never met show. Go ahead, Jake, go ahead. Okay,
- 20:14Speaker 1: sometimes you just do that too hard. Okay, that's all
- 20:17Speaker 1: I'm say. Yes, come on, this has to be like
- 20:27Speaker 1: like that movie. That's that's out with Teraji p Henson.
- 20:30Speaker 1: What men want? You know she could read their thoughts. Yeah,
- 20:34Speaker 1: thank god every woman read her husband's thoughts. I hate
- 20:40Speaker 1: all of you. I really do. Right now, oh man,
- 20:42Speaker 1: I really do you know? All right? Coming up next
- 20:47Speaker 1: it is the nephew would run that prank back. I
- 20:50Speaker 1: hate all of you. See Tommy and Jake today right
- 20:53Speaker 1: now you're listening, all right, so it's time for run

- 21:12Speaker 1: Mama's out there screaming on Saturday. People stand you too much.
- 21:21Speaker 1: We just want to watch them. Know we can cheer
- 21:25Speaker 1: for our babies. I know it's your baby. You can
- 21:28Speaker 1: call it cheer here it is chier Mom's hello, hello, hello, hello, yeah,
- 21:47Speaker 1: can you hear me? I'm trying to reach sorry Angela,
- 21:50Speaker 1: just a second, let me count it down. Okay, Hi,
- 21:55Speaker 1: who are you trying to reach? I'm trying to reach Angela?
- 21:58Speaker 1: Oh yeah, they see Hi Andrew. This is Chip Chip.
- 22:02Speaker 1: I'm the new camp director for the cheerleading camp for
- 22:04Speaker 1: the summer. Oh hi, Chip, what can I do for you?
- 22:07Speaker 1: I just wanted to give you a courtesy call. Your daughter.

- 22:14Speaker 1: but Joe, Yeah, this is your guys third year being
- 22:16Speaker 1: a part of the camp, yep, and she's really excited.
- 22:19Speaker 1: She loved coming to the camp and we think it's
- 22:21Speaker 1: a great thing for how to be involved in. What's that? Okay?
- 22:24Speaker 1: You guys just finished the whole cheerleading season two? Am I? Right?

- 22:31Speaker 1: right right, Okay, Well, we're getting ready for the summer
- 22:33Speaker 1: and everybody's excited about coming out and being a part

- 22:38Speaker 1: give you a little bit. Like I said, I'm the
- 22:40Speaker 1: new camp director. I was just starting at this job.

- 22:46Speaker 1: me about about, so I wanted to give you a
- 22:50Speaker 1: call and see if I could talk to you about it.
- 22:52Speaker 1: A few notes giving to you about Yeah, just a
- 22:54Speaker 1: couple of notes. I don't think it's anything that we
- 22:55Speaker 1: can make sure it's okay. What kind of note? Well,
- 22:58Speaker 1: it's been brought from my team and that some of
- 23:00Speaker 1: the parents whose daughters are out there as well, there's
- 23:03Speaker 1: gonna be there this summer, A little concerned about her
- 23:07Speaker 1: being on top of the pyramid, that she's uh is

- 45:05Speaker 1: we have a bit of an issue here. I have
- 45:08Speaker 1: done some research and I'm looking at all of the
- 45:10Speaker 1: kids and how they're going, how well they're doing when
- 45:12Speaker 1: the school works, and I used it doesn't seem to
- 45:14Speaker 1: be doing well as she should be, uh living up
- 45:19Speaker 1: to the expectations of the academy. And what we're gonna
- 45:22Speaker 1: have to do this spring break is I used to
- 45:26Speaker 1: will not be allowed to take a spring break with
- 45:28Speaker 1: the rest of your kids. We're gonna need her to
- 45:30Speaker 1: come into school. And there's several kids that are not
- 45:34Speaker 1: going to be able to go on spring break, and
- 45:36Speaker 1: I used to happen to be one of them. There's
- 45:38Speaker 1: at least forty to fifty kids that will be coming
- 45:41Speaker 1: to school that entire week that spring break is the
- 45:45Speaker 1: most of the kids are out on spring break. You
- 45:47Speaker 1: have to be mistaken. I mean, my daughter is a
- 45:49Speaker 1: straight age student. She is actually the only I used
- 45:56Speaker 1: at the academy, man, and I you know, I I've
- 46:00Speaker 1: looked at her her grades in the past. She's had
- 46:02Speaker 1: some great, so wonderful grades in the past. I don't
- 46:05Speaker 1: know what's taking place this semester um that she just
- 46:10Speaker 1: seems to have drop the ball. And what we want
- 46:13Speaker 1: to do is, you know, keep these kids focused. As
- 46:16Speaker 1: you know, you have to be accepted to be here
- 46:18Speaker 1: at this particular school, so you know, it leaves me
- 46:22Speaker 1: no no other outlet but to have her come in
- 46:26Speaker 1: and we're gonna buckle down and try to get them
- 46:28Speaker 1: back on track. So I wanted to personally give you
- 46:30Speaker 1: a call and let you know what's going long in
- 46:33Speaker 1: I Easa here at the academy and we're We're just terrible.
- 46:37Speaker 1: This is absolutely terrible. I mean we are here already
- 46:39Speaker 1: in January and I'm getting a call that my daughter
- 46:42Speaker 1: is not doing good. And now you're gonna tell me
- 46:44Speaker 1: that she can't go on a spring great trip in
- 46:46Speaker 1: March if she I mean, as far as I'm just
- 46:48Speaker 1: string my daughter straight, as straight as she's an amazing student,
- 46:51Speaker 1: she does really hard work, she always afford to going
- 46:55Speaker 1: to school, and I get a call today that she
- 46:56Speaker 1: can't go in March, Well, I mean, you gotta be
- 46:59Speaker 1: kidding me. I'm you're saying going somewhere on trip. Are
- 47:02Speaker 1: you are you scheduling I'm not going she's going on
- 47:05Speaker 1: a trip. I'm giving her full permission to go on
- 47:07Speaker 1: a trip. Okay, Well, unfortunately, I'm re question that she's
- 47:12Speaker 1: at school. So I don't know if your trip costs
- 47:16Speaker 1: you a lot of money or if you can get
- 47:18Speaker 1: a refund. But I'm calling you letting you know I
- 47:21Speaker 1: need her there on March eleventh in the classroom so
- 47:25Speaker 1: we can buckle down and try to get her back
- 47:27Speaker 1: on track. No, what I'm telling you, I pay for
- 47:29Speaker 1: the trip, and she's going on the trip. I'm sorry.
- 47:32Speaker 1: And then I call because it's so late in the game.
- 47:36Speaker 1: I'm sorry, she's going on a trip. No, she's not
- 47:39Speaker 1: going on a trip. She's actually gonna be coming into
- 47:42Speaker 1: school and she'll be on March eleventh, from Monday to Friday. Now,
- 47:46Speaker 1: I don't know who you're talking to. That's my child,
- 47:49Speaker 1: I'm telling her. But she's your child. But she's my student.
- 47:53Speaker 1: And right now, all of my students are gonna be
- 47:56Speaker 1: that are that are not doing well in their in
- 47:57Speaker 1: their classes, are gonna be there during spring break and
- 48:01Speaker 1: they're gonna get their business together. What are you will
- 48:04Speaker 1: telling me like you're reprimanding me like I'm a child. Okay,
- 48:09Speaker 1: she's gone. No, she's not going on a trip, and
- 48:12Speaker 1: you're telling me what you're trying to override my position,
- 48:16Speaker 1: and that's what's not gonna happen. She has to be there.
- 48:19Speaker 1: You might as well start looking for a refund because
- 48:22Speaker 1: she's not gonna not be there, so I didn't need
- 48:25Speaker 1: her there Monday through variety of spring break so we
- 48:27Speaker 1: can get her back on course. Listen, I don't you
- 48:31Speaker 1: think you're talking to I have the ultimate position over
- 48:34Speaker 1: even you. That's my daughter. That's my daughter. I get
- 48:38Speaker 1: to tell you you what I'm doing her. She's going
- 48:40Speaker 1: on that trip. You're out of here. Happens out not
- 48:45Speaker 1: sending my daughter on the trip. Sorry, not happening. I'm
- 48:49Speaker 1: telling you right now, she's not going on a trip
- 48:53Speaker 1: to is almost she's not. I'm gonna seek when I
- 48:56Speaker 1: used to tomorrow and let her know where you're not good.
- 49:00Speaker 1: Tell my daughter, damn thing. I'm telling her she's not
- 49:03Speaker 1: going on a spring break trip. You know why because
- 49:06Speaker 1: of grades that I'm not up to bar. She needs
- 49:08Speaker 1: to be more concerned about her grade and not going
- 49:11Speaker 1: and hanging out. You're all of gagging around. Where are
- 49:13Speaker 1: you're sending her? No, it's not happening. I want all
- 49:16Speaker 1: of my students with passing grades. I'm a one hundred
- 49:20Speaker 1: assistant principal and all my kids pass well. Are you
- 49:24Speaker 1: trying to convince yourself that you're important? Is I'm thinking
- 49:26Speaker 1: me a break. He's like a baby. My daughter is
- 49:28Speaker 1: going on the trip and that finally hear me. Okay,
- 49:31Speaker 1: you know what I'll speak when I used to tomorrow morning.
- 49:33Speaker 1: No you're not, Yes, I will. Now, here's the deal.
- 49:37Speaker 1: I'll leave you this this Kisha. If I used to
- 49:40Speaker 1: does not show up Monday through for our deal spring break,
- 49:43Speaker 1: then maybe you're gonna have to find out used to
- 49:46Speaker 1: another school. You're threatening me. Now you're threatening me. You're
- 49:50Speaker 1: threatening to kick my daughter out of school because of
- 49:52Speaker 1: the spring break. If your daughter's not here doing spring
- 49:56Speaker 1: break Monday through Friday, then she's get out of here again. Please,
- 50:01Speaker 1: I'd like to see you try that. Give me a break,
- 50:03Speaker 1: scure s. I think this conversation is old. When my
- 50:05Speaker 1: next conversation will be with Aha, that's what she's going
- 50:08Speaker 1: to spring break. She's staying in the school. If he
- 50:10Speaker 1: do something about it. I will have people picking it
- 50:12Speaker 1: outside your your school here talking about nonsense. My daughter
- 50:16Speaker 1: does great in school and she's going on a trip
- 50:18Speaker 1: and that's it. Who breach and stall Monday through Friday?
- 50:22Speaker 1: Start spring break? You talking to? Who are you yelling
- 50:28Speaker 1: at like that? Are you mine? I swear the guy
- 50:31Speaker 1: about going that kick your what's wrong with you? You?
- 50:35Speaker 1: You're out of control? God? What he's talking to? You
- 50:41Speaker 1: know what? You know what? You know what I told
- 50:43Speaker 1: me about you? Do you know what? Telling me? What
- 50:45Speaker 1: didn't he tell you? She told me to pluck phone
- 50:49Speaker 1: call to his nephew, telling me from the high pressure
- 51:06Speaker 1: over here. Oh my god, are you good girl? Yep?
- 51:17Speaker 1: That's awesome. Oh my god. I was really good to
- 51:20Speaker 1: go over there. You up. I can't believe this, my god. Okay,
- 51:25Speaker 1: I gotta ask you something. Yeah, I mean the baddest
- 51:30Speaker 1: radio show in the land without a doubt, Steve Harvey
- 51:33Speaker 1: Morning Show. Well, well coming down, nod do that dirty?
- 51:45Speaker 1: Is that dirty? Yeah? Dirty? Well? Then then mission accomplice.
- 51:52Speaker 1: That's all I need, the baby, mission accomplice. If you're
- 51:57Speaker 1: trying to do it, baby, yeah, wait till y'all here
- 52:00Speaker 1: doing tomorrow When y'all hear this. When I made it
- 52:04Speaker 1: through with my ws, it was difficult when I made
- 52:07Speaker 1: it through. Tomorrow, y'all gonna here the wall workers, the
- 52:15Speaker 1: wall work workers. Whoa, the wall workers. It's wall workers worker,
- 52:24Speaker 1: not the mall workers, right, wall workers, wall workers, the
- 52:30Speaker 1: wall workers tomorrow. Check it out. You're not trying not
- 52:35Speaker 1: to say it during the prank. You're not gonna say anything, Steve.
- 52:37Speaker 1: You're just not You're just gonna be quiet over there.
- 52:43Speaker 1: All right again, coming up at the top of the hour,
- 52:45Speaker 1: Strawberry Letter. H subject, he's pulling out tracks and giving

- 53:21Speaker 1: can't help you right right? How utterly help me? Well, slea, Yeah,
- 53:27Speaker 1: it's like the lottery. You can't win if you don't play.
- 53:31Speaker 1: You're ready, ready, bugle, hold on time. We got it
- 53:34Speaker 1: for you. The Strawberry letter subject. He's pulling out tracks
- 53:39Speaker 1: and giving me whiplash. Here's Stephen Shirley. I'm in a
- 53:43Speaker 1: new relationship and about two months ago we started our
- 53:46Speaker 1: sexual adventures. He is an amazing man in and out
- 53:50Speaker 1: of bed. I am twenty eight years old and he's
- 53:53Speaker 1: ten years older than I am. I love our relationship,
- 53:56Speaker 1: but I have one major issue. He likes to pull
- 54:00Speaker 1: my hair. To be more specific, he likes to pull
- 54:04Speaker 1: my weave while we're being intimate. A couple of nights ago,
- 54:08Speaker 1: he pulled my hair so hard that my scalp was
- 54:11Speaker 1: on fire the next day and I had whiplash for
- 54:14Speaker 1: the past two days. Or bring it, my darn neck hurts.
- 54:20Speaker 1: I will admit that when he's messed up my hair
- 54:23Speaker 1: or loosened up one of my tracks, he had no
- 54:25Speaker 1: problem paying for my next install. I'm not one of
- 54:29Speaker 1: those girls that is into rough love making and kinky
- 54:32Speaker 1: stuff in the bedroom, and I feel like hair pulling
- 54:35Speaker 1: may be just the beginning. He is amazing in bed,
- 54:38Speaker 1: so I don't want him to stop what he's doing.
- 54:41Speaker 1: I just want him to be more gentle. How should
- 54:43Speaker 1: I bring this up to him without offending him. I
- 54:46Speaker 1: don't want him to think I can't handle myself in
- 54:48Speaker 1: the bedroom, especially since I'm younger. I also don't want
- 54:52Speaker 1: sex to be boring for him. But he's hurting me,
- 54:56Speaker 1: plain and simple. The hair pulling needs to stop immediately.
- 55:00Speaker 1: How should I tell him? Please help? So many things
- 55:04Speaker 1: wrong in this letter, but the number one thing for me. Men,
- 55:08Speaker 1: come on now, you know you cannot mess with the
- 55:10Speaker 1: black woman's hair and or out of bed. Okay, those
- 55:14Speaker 1: are the rules. I believe that is in the Bible.
- 55:17Speaker 1: You know we spend countless in the salon. We spend
- 55:22Speaker 1: countless hours in the salon waiting a long, long, long
- 55:26Speaker 1: time for our turn in the chair. This is what
- 55:28Speaker 1: we go through. Okay, not to mention, we have to
- 55:31Speaker 1: go by the hair store. We have to haul all
- 55:33Speaker 1: these bundles back to the shop, sit patiently for the
- 55:36Speaker 1: install even sometimes take meds because the pain of the
- 55:41Speaker 1: braids underneath the weave are too tight. We lose our
- 55:44Speaker 1: edges dealing with these weaves. So listen for your man
- 55:49Speaker 1: to be pulling your hair. Sometimes your tracks out and
- 55:55Speaker 1: stuff that's a lot going on. Who cares if he
- 55:59Speaker 1: pays for the next installed, for your next deployment. We
- 56:02Speaker 1: don't care about that your scalp, your head is on fire.
- 56:06Speaker 1: Sex should never be that uncomfortable, all right. I gotta
- 56:09Speaker 1: tell you that it should never be that uncomfortable. It
- 56:11Speaker 1: should never be hurtful. It should never cause you any
- 56:14Speaker 1: pain like that. So forget about not wanting him to
- 56:17Speaker 1: think you can't handle yourself in bed because you're young.
- 56:20Speaker 1: That's not what's important here. Think about yourself, how you feel,
- 56:24Speaker 1: and what you want. And you have a voice and
- 56:26Speaker 1: you need to use it. Okay, tell him that you
- 56:29Speaker 1: enjoy sex with him. He's amazing. But this hair pulling stuff,
- 56:32Speaker 1: it has to stop. It really hurts you, and you
- 56:35Speaker 1: would like it to stop immediately because of the whiplash. Okay,
- 56:39Speaker 1: you can't go through life like that. It's not that serious. Steve, Well,
- 56:45Speaker 1: you better make me proud. I don't know she's covered
- 56:52Speaker 1: all the hair objects. That's right, that's what it's. I
- 56:54Speaker 1: just probably need to get to what you need to know.
- 56:57Speaker 1: A little girl. You mess it with this girl? Oh man?
- 57:01Speaker 1: Then your letter you said a couple of nights ago
- 57:04Speaker 1: and pull my hair so hard my scout was on fire.
- 57:07Speaker 1: The next day, I have whipped lass for past two days.
- 57:11Speaker 1: My damn neck hurt. I would admit that when he's
- 57:13Speaker 1: messed up my hair and losing up my tracks, he
- 57:15Speaker 1: had no problem playing for my next install. I'm not
- 57:18Speaker 1: one of them girls into rough love making and kinky
- 57:22Speaker 1: stuff in the bedroom. And here's the key line. And
- 57:25Speaker 1: I feel like half pulling may just be the beginning. Well,
- 57:31Speaker 1: I'm here to clear this part of the letter of
- 57:33Speaker 1: it is just the beginning. Oh, it's more where that
- 57:37Speaker 1: comes from. So y'all just been at d trying to
- 57:40Speaker 1: see how you're handling the hair pullet. Now you all
- 57:42Speaker 1: have been crying in the letter, tell about your neck
- 57:45Speaker 1: hurt and you got whipped lad. Oh it's more coming. Oh,
- 57:49Speaker 1: it's more. It's way more. That hal pulling is in
- 57:53Speaker 1: the beginning beginning. Let me tell your listening stuff that's coming.
- 57:57Speaker 1: Neck choking. Connect that choking is in here. This's what
- 58:01Speaker 1: you think. Yeah, yeah, hammele loocks. You're gonna be in
- 58:05Speaker 1: a hammele loock. You're gonna get loved on your wrist
- 58:08Speaker 1: up by the base of your skuller. It's gonna be
- 58:11Speaker 1: ankle bending. Your ankle is gonna be behind your neck.
- 58:18Speaker 1: I hope you're ready. You findn't get Holy feel you
- 58:22Speaker 1: don't get one of your damn here took off. Oh
- 58:26Speaker 1: the hair pulling, it's just the beginning. Little you don't
- 58:30Speaker 1: like Roth Sayson kicking stuff. He's just trying to see
- 58:32Speaker 1: how you handling. He paying for installs. He's gonna have
- 58:35Speaker 1: to be paying for teeth and lifted stuff. You're gonna
- 58:38Speaker 1: have to get your face restructure this boyfriend to come
- 58:41Speaker 1: in here and do some banging you ain't really familiar with. Also,
- 58:45Speaker 1: there's gonna be some tongue in Helen. See, you haven't
- 58:49Speaker 1: been in here, and Shelley, I don't expect you to
- 58:52Speaker 1: like my response. You've done all the little hal comments.
- 58:56Speaker 1: This ain't about Hal. This is about this could get
- 59:00Speaker 1: a little more different. And obviously you're gonna sit there
- 59:03Speaker 1: and act like you're unfamiliar with it. But you all
- 59:06Speaker 1: have had a man in heale your tongue. No, yes
- 59:11Speaker 1: you have. If you haven't, you miss it. It's actually
- 59:15Speaker 1: good pass in heal. You're gonna end up getting bent
- 59:19Speaker 1: and twisted. It's gonna you had to go to Contortia school.
- 59:23Speaker 1: To continue relationship with this man right here, you had
- 59:25Speaker 1: to get into some type of circus training if you're
- 59:29Speaker 1: gonna stay with this man right here, sut the so late.
- 59:32Speaker 1: I strongly said, yes, you take something like yoga. You
- 59:36Speaker 1: definitely got to get it, because downward dog is coming
- 59:39Speaker 1: down dog. Gloria stands is comfort well that part two
- 59:43Speaker 1: of Steve's response coming up a twenty mission. You're listening
- 59:49Speaker 1: to show. All right, Steve, come on, let's go with
- 59:53Speaker 1: part two of your response farther than you should because
- 59:59Speaker 1: of the level of intensity that this man is able
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: to go into now with all this hair track pulling.
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: She's afraid that this is the beginning. She don't like
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: rough sex. I don't either. I don't like pain in
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: my game. But you're gonna have to get another man
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: because he do pain, because after he hurts you, he
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: want to pay for You're gonna you're gonna mess around.
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: Get one of your little nostrils told it ain't gonna
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: tell her what's gonna happen. Yeah, you don't, I put out.
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: You probably need to leave this man right unless you
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: do like I'm telling you to, dude, and get into
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: some type of circus training. Get you a neck put
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: in your backyard and a trap piece practice. Get a
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: trampoline because he gonna dive off of something. You're gonna
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: want to know how to handle. There's something that I
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: strongly suggest that you don start doing at the jim.
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: Try to do toe thrust because it it'll help you
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: give you escaping powers. You can get away better. You
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: gotta strengthen your toes so when he's coming towards you,
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: you can tote thrust. Be right about the way. It's
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: things like that that you want to do, and you
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: know a lot of stuff. Try to lose some weight.
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: I don't know what size you are now a matter
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: of fact, I take that back. Gain some weight so
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: you can handle it better. Put some weight on. Be heavy.
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: That way, all that tossing is limited. That's the beautiful
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: thing about full figured women. They really fine and all
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: with it. They got what you want. You know, you
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: just gotta handle them different. But you hand them wrong,
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: You mess around and get handled, and maybe that's what
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: you need to do. Just put on some weight for
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: his ass, and next time he coming there with all
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: that hair pulling, you turn around, pull his hair, get
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: in the gym. You get in the gym and get
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: your upper body right. So when he pulled your hair,
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: you pull his hair. Whatever he do you, you do
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: the same thing here. If he ain't ball headed, pull
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: some my hair from somewhere. Na, How you like that? Wow? Yeah?
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: Pull his eyebrows out. That's very to some of the
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: pluck his eyebrows of them grabbing mustairs, hair and pull
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: it out. I'm telling you right now to put tears
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: in the pull out some nose hair. And that's what
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: I think you should do. That's my response to the
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: not the covered all the stuff about the hair. I
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: don't I don't have no hair. I don't know you
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: had hair before you half a hair? Right, he pulling
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: your hair, you pull his head. You bite your tongue,
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: you bite his tongue. Y'all just be in there, bleeve.
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: I thought all women had the hair tied up when
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: they come to be. Come on till be tied up?
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: No comment, yay, no comment? All right, Steve, we gotta

- 1:03:25Speaker 1: we'll come right back with more of the Steve Harvey
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: Morning Show right after this. You're listening to the Steve
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right, guys, it is time for ask Steve.
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: We have a question. Yeah, now listen to this. Yeah,
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: a one question one yeah, yeah. This from well, this
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: is from a twenty two year old. This is from
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: a millennial. So um and and his name is also Steve,
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: your namesake, he says, Hi, mister Harvey, I work full
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: time and I'm currently in school to become a psychiatric
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: mental health nurse. My faith is strong and I know
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: that with God, anything is possible. So my question to
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: you is, on your path to become an entertainer, did
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: you ever doubt yourself, think your dream was too big,
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: or think about giving up? And how did you strengthen
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: your connection to God and never lose hope that your
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: prayers and hard work would pay off. That's a great question. Well,
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: you know, look, no matter who you are, we're human,
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: and you're gonna have moments of doubt because it's so
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: difficult to make a success of yourself. So there's gonna
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: be times. Man, what you're gonna be faced with the
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: man that I make the right move? Man? It's this
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: working man? Is it ever? Is it gonna change? Is
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: it gonna get better? I mean, you know I'm living
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: in that calm going Man. Is it gonna get better? Man?
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: Did I make the right move? Man? Should I go
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: back home? Man? I mean, you know you're gonna have
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: doubts along the way. Sometimes you're gonna doubt it. Or
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: let me say to you this way. It's going to
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: be so daunting at times that you're going to be
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: faced with some things that appear to be insurmountable. But
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: here's what I always had to do. Whenever I got
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: to moments like that, I thought of the ultimate dream
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: that I had for myself and my family. What am
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: I really shooting for? And I think what people have
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: to do is you have to be conscious of the
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: size of your dreams. You have to have dreams so
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: big that not getting your dream is unacceptable because the
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: consequence the alternative, the alternative to not receiving your dreams
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: is unacceptable. And you've just got to dreams so big
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: that your dreams are bigger than whatever problem you're having.
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: So dreaming big is not the problem because God is
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: all out there in the big dreams. Heart is in
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: to make your dream come true. Business, So I want
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: you to just stay. You have to stay prayerful man,
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: throughout the journey. A prayer changes things, and prayer gives
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: you a relationship with your creator that allows you to
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: have the strength that you don't have in your weakest moments.
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: Allows you to be your strongest because it connects you
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: closer to him. Your weakness is where He gives you
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: the strength. Hey man, go ahead, all right, Steve, all right,
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: we'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to show. All right, guys, it
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: is time Steve for comedy roulette. You're ready. Jay explained
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: it again. Let me break this down. We have new
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: listeners who don't have any idea of what we're doing comedy.
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: Very simple. Give us five subjects, five anything you want.
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: Put them on a wheel. Yeah, spun the wheel. We stop. Yes,
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: spun spun it around as in to be spun around
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: as a spin. That's totally different. Red spun it around.
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: Witch stop. We'll do the damn thing here we go?
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: All right? Number one things you say to yourself when
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: you're mad at someone. Number two, you know it's time
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: to go to the store. When dot dot dot. Number
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: three stuff you don't like to watch, but you watch
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: it anyway to keep them happy. You know we all
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: know about that or him whatever. Number four. Number four,
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: you know she's not coming back when okay, number five,
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: people who never chip in, come on, let's go cat,
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: let's spin. Whoa it came on? Number one. Things you
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: say to yourself when you're mad at someone. Say to
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: you yourself when you're mad at someone. Okay, here's something
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: you say to yourself when you're mad at somebody. I'm
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: gonna let it go this time, but the next damn time, Oh,
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: it's gonna be hell. Up, it's gonna be hell Just
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: when I always say to myself when i'm mad at
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: other people, I'm trying not to go jail. I'm doing
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: my best. You say I'm calling my best right now,
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: I'm trying not to go to jail. You're really mad. No,
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: now you're mad court dates everything I'm trying. Come on, nephew,
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: you know what, you know what? That's all right? Drink
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: that water. Then I put up in that drink that drink.
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: That all right? Things you say to yourself when you're
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: mad at someone, Steve better go ahead on you better
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: go head on? Now this is black. That's all that is.
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: Thing you say to yourself when you're mad at somebody. Lord,
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: please work with me, Jesus, please please, father, Father, take
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: me down so I don't kill us. That's why I
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: always say that I'm always mad somebody. That's just something
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: you said before to somebody. That's why your ass broke.
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: Now that that hurt, Junior, that hurts, But you say
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: it to yourself. What you know what? That's that's that's
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: why I got another woman cross. That's right here. I
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: ain't got to go through this. This is you say
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: to yourself with your stupid It sounds just like who
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: ever heard you say that it was two jobs, but
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: it was one of you. Oh my god, I'm talking.
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: My mom was talking to me than you say to
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: people when you mad at him. Won't you go ahead
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: and die? It's gonna get up out of hill about Facebook?
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: All right? Come on take us on. No, no, no,
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: I got you this say not my family. I'm calling
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: crime stopping. They gonna get a tip today. You will, Yeah,
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: show glad that ain't my bag. All right, we'll be
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: back with more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: after you're listening to Steve show Boy. When you look
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: back in the history books, we're gonna have a lot
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: to say about the year twenty twenty. But we've turned
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: some negatives into positives. I mean, one is we're all
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: still here, right, We're still here. We're still standing and
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: very grateful. That's right, Carla. But Junior, you managed to
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: really do it and go rogue, tell us what you did? Oh,
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: you know what I did? Um, you know, I know
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: it's twenty twenty, COVID nineteen and all these things, and
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: we really are blessed, you know what. But there were
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: there were some things that uh, some families, don't you know,
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: they needed help this holiday season, you know, and you
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: know I roll, you know, well, you know, man, I
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: paid for a few Christmases, Tommy. That's all I did. Really, man,
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: you know, it's really cool. It really does make you
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: feel better because it's some other fans out there doing
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: way worse than what I'm doing. And you know, I
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: found some single mothers and I helped them with some Christmas.
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: That's all I did what what? What? What Christmas calls? Junior?
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: What a Christmas? Running? The what I did? What I
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: not on Steve dude? The what I did thousand per family.
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: That's good though, That's really good, Junior. And you know,
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you it really instantly makes you feel better.
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: I don't care what it does again, and I just
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: feel afraid about it. And then knowing they're gonna have
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: the kids are gonna have a Christmas and you know
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: the families, they were really grateful. So I just went
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: wrong that way. That's how I do it better. You know, Roll,
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: you better get out of here and go roll though.
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: You know what I meant is the season to go roll. Baby.
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: We'll be back with more of the Steve Harvey Morning
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: Show right after this. You're listening show all right to Steve.
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: You here, Jay, he's back, but today he's also here
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: to tell us, Steve, I think the whole room is
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: gonna be shocked by this and everyone listening. Uh, why
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: he might need a wife? What? Jay? Listen to me? Man, Yeah,
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: don't mark us down nowhere. But my life, my life
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: is not together. Let me tell you why, Steve. I
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: looked in my kitchen drawer. I've got one damn fork
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: I have, Steve. I have three spoons. A wife wouldn't
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: let this happen. I have a butcher knife that's dull.
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: All my cups are from Papa John's. I don't have
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: a My life is gone to hell. I don't have
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: a can opener. I have a wine opener with the
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: two arms. One arm is broken, Steve, I need help, Okay, yeah,
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: I have some soft teams from six months ago. That
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: is still softest bread I have. Get this now. I
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: have ketchup, mustard and honey. But the dual condom and
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: packs that's all I got. I might have to do this, Steve.
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: I have something in my refrigerator. I have no idea
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: what it is. I don't even know what that is.
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: It's in there, been there for a while. I have
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: one pillar. It's flat. Two sheets, two sheets that are
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: niche matched all right. I have one white, one blue,
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: one red. I just have towels. I washed in the
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: shower and I just drive with towels. I have no
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: face cloths, none at all, I have, Steve. I have
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: no toilet paper, I have no wet wipes. I have
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: no dog. You need a wife, boy, you ain't got
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: no wet white. You need a white, no tont tissues. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: you already ain't got no FaceTime. What did you wipe
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: from yourself? Which I have? You don't have to do laundry.
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: You need to burn all you need to do. You
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: need to burn. You take all your towels on, all
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: your all your body, anything that you burn it. I
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: have a bunch of soap, shampoos, and conditioners and mouth
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: wash basketball got them from hotels. So why you need
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: a wife, Jake, It's time to come on in, dog, Yeah,
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: come on in on. She gotten that one dam fault?
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: All right, Wow, Jay, can't can't wait for the wedding.
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: All right, we'll be back with the clothes. Uh. Today
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: has been a good day. Um, we'll be back to
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: closing our show. Yeah, with Steve's closing remarks coming up
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: at forty nine after the hour. Right after this. You're
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: listening all right here we are last break of the day.
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: It's been a good day. Uh, thank you all for
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: listening as always. Steve, come on and take us home
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: with your closing remarks today. I have some really really
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: good information. I'm really really please with this line of thinking.
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: Because everybody has them, everybody has to deal with them,
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: everybody faces it. It's just so many people lose the
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: point of it. You know, the thing about going through something,
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: I think you can go through something better if you
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: know there's a point to it, you know what I mean.
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: People go to the gym to work out if they're
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: trying to get to a certain point. The moment you
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: don't see the point of it, going to the gym
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: becomes ridiculous to you. It becomes harder to you because
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: all of a sudden it doesn't make sense. So what
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: I want to show you is how to look at
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: the point of something. And the thing that I'm gonna
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: talk to you about is something that everybody faces when
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: they're trying to be successful, because everybody is going to
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: go through some difficult times everybody. I don't care who
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: you are, You're going to have some difficult times. Everybody
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: is going to have some challenges, challenges, difficulties, setbacks. You're
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: going to have this. But listen to me, all of
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: this is part of the process to succeed. When you
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: are presented with these setbacks, these difficulties, and these challenges,
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: I want you to understand what they actually are. They
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: are actually test. Everybody gets tested. The reason you have
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: to have the test is because tests are presented to
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: you to see if you're willing to go through the process.
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: It's merely just to see if you're willing to go
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: through what it takes, the challenges, the setbacks, the difficulties.
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: The tests are just there to see if you are
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: willing to go through the process. Now, in being willing
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: to go through the process, it assures you something that
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: when you pass the test and you reach your goal,
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: that you will have a level of appreciation for it.
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: I'll give you an example. Somebody use your car. I
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: don't recommend that they're not gonna take care of your
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: car or way you do, because they didn't pay for it.
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: They're not making a note on it. They didn't have
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: to struggle to get the down payment. They didn't have
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: to make sure their credit was right. They didn't walk
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: in the bank and get turned down a couple of times,
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: didn't go back and fix their credit. Now they got up.
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: That's why if you rent out your room to somebody,
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: they're not gonna take care of your room like you
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: take care of your house, because they didn't go through
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: the process to get it. All they wanted was the
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: room because they didn't have to fill out the credit report.
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: They didn't go down here. They don't have the mortgage.
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: They don't know what it took to have to own
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: this house. That's why they didn't take care of their yard,
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: as they written. Some people who writ don't take care
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: of property because it ain't theirs. Now that's not all writters.
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: I'm just talking about the case of some. Because when
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: you go through the test, it causes you to have
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: an appreciation for now. The tests are necessary. The test
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: teaches you things. The test provides you with a lesson.
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: Tests are merely lessons. You're gonna see these tests again,
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: and when you see them again, they won't appears nearly
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: as difficult because you've already taken the test before and
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: you've already passed it. The test also strengthens you. All
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: these tests you haven't it's strengthens you. It's like lifting weights. Oh,
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: it's heavy right now. If you put them fifties in
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: your hand, that's heavy weight. But if you keep lifting
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: fifties after a while, you can lift seventies, but them fifties.
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: But guess what them fifties did that was so hard
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: that you felt like dropping and you need a spott it.
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: They made you stronger. Though the tests make you stronger.
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: The next thing that the test does for you is
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: it makes you experienced. Because now that you have these
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: tests under your belt, you know something you can turn
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: around and share with people how to get past the
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: tests because you've seen them before. This is the reason
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: that you have challenges, setbacks, and difficulties because you are
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: being tested. So when God gives you the thing that
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: you're asking for, you will have a level of appreciation
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: for it. You will have learned the lessons that it
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: takes to maintain it. You will have been strengthened by
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: the process, and you will become experienced by the process.
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: Here is the last and main thing that the test
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: does for you, These tests that they're presented to you.
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: Old people have said it a thousand times. Cannot have
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: a testimony without the test. How can you share this
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: experience with anybody? How do you tell a young person
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: what to do if you ain't been through nothing? How
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: can you teach me how to play golf and you
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: don't play golf? It's impossible. You can't be the swim coach,
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: and you can't swim. I'm sorry you can't. You got
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: to have gone through the process. It's the process and
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: the test that gets you to the point. But you
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: can't have a testimony without a test. You'll have nothing
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: to say in your life. If you've never passed any tests,
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: you will have no story to tell. So all of
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: you that are being tested, you're working on your story. Now.
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: What story will you tell your children? What story will
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: you tell your grandchildren? What story will you tell young
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: people who need menery? What story will you tell people
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: who they can look up to you and they think
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: you got something? What story will you tell? You've got
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: to be tested to make it happen. Pass the tests,
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: deal with them and you'll be fine. Those are my
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: closing remarks today. Yea, I have a great weekend. Thank you.
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: You have a great weekend too. Great closing remarks. Yeah.
