The Musical Experience
The musical world, at least for me, can give out mixed signals.There are arenas where I really feel like I do not fit in, as a trumpet player, and as a person, that almost everyone there is stuffy and schmoozy and shallow.But then there are other arenas in which I am praised for being a wonderful musician and even asked if I am professionally trained.And it confuses the hell out of me, I would like to know, do any of you experience this as well?
