- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time. I
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a suit looking back to back down,
- 0:13Speaker 1: giving them like the million bucks things and the stubbings
- 0:19Speaker 1: be true, good together for st Please, I don't join Jo.
- 0:58Speaker 1: You gotta use that turn you're going to do. You
- 1:24Speaker 1: gotta turn to turn them out. Turn you haven't got
- 1:44Speaker 1: the turnout? Then turn the water. The water got me?
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on your bad, I sure will the good
- 2:04Speaker 1: morning everybody you're listening to the voice, come on dig
- 2:07Speaker 1: me now. One and only Steve Harvey got a radio show.
- 2:11Speaker 1: Oh man, Steve Harvey got a radio show because God.
- 2:15Speaker 1: Because God is simply amazing. Because God is off the chain,
- 2:20Speaker 1: because God is over the top, because God is all
- 2:23Speaker 1: that in a bag of chips. God is amazing. Man.
- 2:27Speaker 1: God will take you places that you never ever thought
- 2:31Speaker 1: you would go. Oh you know what? It sometimes it
- 2:34Speaker 1: amazes me when I'm watching all people talk about themselves
- 2:38Speaker 1: and their careers and where they're adding life and things
- 2:41Speaker 1: and they and I hear people say, you know, always
- 2:44Speaker 1: dreamed of being him. You know, I can understand when
- 2:48Speaker 1: a person says that I've always dreamed that of something
- 2:52Speaker 1: like this would happen to me. But I want you
- 2:54Speaker 1: to think about that for a second. Did you really
- 2:59Speaker 1: see it just like that though? Did you really really
- 3:03Speaker 1: see it just like that? Did you really know that
- 3:10Speaker 1: God was gonna bring you through all he bought you
- 3:12Speaker 1: through to get you to this place? Did you know that,
- 3:16Speaker 1: in spite of the losses along the way that would
- 3:19Speaker 1: crumble the average person, that somehow He kept you through
- 3:23Speaker 1: it all and that's how you got here? Did you
- 3:28Speaker 1: think of you know? I mean, you know, you know.
- 3:30Speaker 1: I mean, since you're so busy talking about yourself now,
- 3:34Speaker 1: have you forgotten all the times He was bringing you
- 3:38Speaker 1: through when you didn't see no way that you was
- 3:41Speaker 1: gonna get through? Do you remember that? So when you
- 3:44Speaker 1: sit there and you say, I dreamed of this, this
- 3:48Speaker 1: is what I always saw happening, I don't really think. So,
- 3:52Speaker 1: I don't really think. If you take inventory, or real
- 3:55Speaker 1: close inventory of your life and you look back on
- 3:58Speaker 1: it all, stop looking at the moment right now, remember
- 4:02Speaker 1: where you come from. See, that's what gets me emotional sometimes,
- 4:05Speaker 1: that's what makes me tear up, because when something is
- 4:08Speaker 1: happening to me in the moment, it ain't the moment
- 4:12Speaker 1: for me. It's the memory of how I got there.
- 4:16Speaker 1: It's the recollection of all the things, all the nights,
- 4:20Speaker 1: all the days in that car, all the times by
- 4:24Speaker 1: myself when I felt like I wasn't gonna make it.
- 4:27Speaker 1: But somehow I'm standing somewhere and somebody passing out on
- 4:30Speaker 1: a ward to me or somebody calling my name, that's that.
- 4:35Speaker 1: Did you really think you was gonna make it? Then?
- 4:38Speaker 1: So so so, since you're talking about this is what
- 4:40Speaker 1: I always dreamed of. Did you really think in those
- 4:43Speaker 1: moments right there that you would even be standing here today?
- 4:47Speaker 1: That's why I try to I try to give people
- 4:48Speaker 1: to understand, you know, and and and and this is
- 4:51Speaker 1: kind of for young people today what I'm about to say.
- 4:54Speaker 1: But then guess what I sometimes I have to remind
- 4:57Speaker 1: myself of it, So I guess it's still kind of
- 4:59Speaker 1: for everybody, you know, because I work with a lot
- 5:02Speaker 1: of young people, and so many times, man, young people
- 5:05Speaker 1: just don't understand what all it takes. And I know,
- 5:11Speaker 1: and if you're a full grown adult, if you're forty,
- 5:14Speaker 1: you you really understanding where I'm coming from, because you know,
- 5:19Speaker 1: it's listen to me, young people or anybody that don't
- 5:23Speaker 1: understand this that you got to do some things that
- 5:27Speaker 1: you don't want to do in order to do what
- 5:30Speaker 1: you want to do. You have to understand this principle
- 5:34Speaker 1: of success or else you are not going to become successful.
- 5:39Speaker 1: I got what you want to do. I got your
- 5:42Speaker 1: ultimate goal? Is this, that, and the other? I got
- 5:45Speaker 1: all of that. But in the meantime, though, there are
- 5:49Speaker 1: some necessary steps that you have to take in order
- 5:51Speaker 1: to become successful, and you cannot skip these steps. You
- 5:56Speaker 1: can't jump over these steps just because you want to
- 5:58Speaker 1: be rich Friday, I got that. I got that. Everybody
- 6:02Speaker 1: got that. But if you want this whatever you're talking about,
- 6:07Speaker 1: whether it's money or success or fame or climbing the
- 6:10Speaker 1: corporate letter or this is the position or you all,
- 6:14Speaker 1: that's fine and dan it. Please hold on to your dreams.
- 6:17Speaker 1: Dreams come true. But in the meantime, let me remind
- 6:23Speaker 1: you of something that you gotta do some things you
- 6:26Speaker 1: don't want to do in order to do what you
- 6:29Speaker 1: want to do. Let's say you want to be rich
- 6:32Speaker 1: and famous. Let's just say that's it for you. Let's
- 6:34Speaker 1: sit there. It's a lot of other ways of being successful.
- 6:37Speaker 1: Please don't think that's the only one. But I'm just saying,
- 6:38Speaker 1: let's just say yours is rich and famous, and let's
- 6:42Speaker 1: say some miraculous way God made you rich and famous.
- 6:46Speaker 1: Next Friday, you rich and you famous? Next Friday? Can
- 6:53Speaker 1: I share something with you? This is not going to
- 6:55Speaker 1: last for you. You know why because you have not
- 6:58Speaker 1: done the things necessary. You have not done the things
- 7:03Speaker 1: that you have to do in order to do the
- 7:07Speaker 1: things you want. So now you're rich and famous, How
- 7:10Speaker 1: you gonna know how to budget money? How are you
- 7:14Speaker 1: gonna know how to get up and keep clawing towards
- 7:17Speaker 1: the top when you fall off your pedestal. See, it's
- 7:21Speaker 1: so many things you got to know about something, and
- 7:24Speaker 1: you think, because it's what you want right now, it's
- 7:27Speaker 1: supposed to happen just now. It's a process. When you
- 7:29Speaker 1: ask God for something. Please know, God know the process.
- 7:34Speaker 1: He knows the necessary steps to take you through. Don't
- 7:37Speaker 1: lose your patience with God because your dreams ain't coming
- 7:40Speaker 1: true right now? Man? You know you know I think
- 7:46Speaker 1: the best way y'all is for me. I just use
- 7:48Speaker 1: myself as an example. I really do understand why God
- 7:51Speaker 1: has given me the life he's giving me so far.
- 7:54Speaker 1: I understand to being homeless. Part Now I get to
- 7:57Speaker 1: not being successful when I want it to. Part Now,
- 8:00Speaker 1: I get it. I got the delayed entry into the
- 8:04Speaker 1: field of choice for myself. I got it now. I've
- 8:07Speaker 1: been wanting to be on TV and a little comedian
- 8:09Speaker 1: since I was nine years old. But guess what, I
- 8:12Speaker 1: didn't get there until I was twenty eight. But see
- 8:15Speaker 1: I didn't get it. Then I was mad at God.
- 8:18Speaker 1: You know what I won't I send them here here
- 8:20Speaker 1: I got exactly what you want. But I got this process.
- 8:22Speaker 1: I want you to go through to get here too,
- 8:25Speaker 1: because see I'm fit to take you somewhere. You don't
- 8:27Speaker 1: know nothing, but one day you're gonna have a radio
- 8:29Speaker 1: show with You're a little stupid behind. You don't know
- 8:31Speaker 1: this yet. I'm gonna bless you with a radio show.
- 8:34Speaker 1: You don't even know it. That's why I said every morning,
- 8:36Speaker 1: Steven Harvey got a radio show. Because see I didn't.
- 8:39Speaker 1: I didn't see this one coming. But see God had
- 8:41Speaker 1: a plan for me. It was in the blueprint of
- 8:43Speaker 1: my life. So God said, what I'm gonna do is
- 8:46Speaker 1: I'm gonna make your life a little rough for you.
- 8:48Speaker 1: I'm gonna toss you up a little bit I'm I'm
- 8:52Speaker 1: gonna let you make some of these stupid decisions you
- 8:54Speaker 1: wanna make it. I'm gonna make you learn from them.
- 8:56Speaker 1: I'm I'm gonna let you be homeless for a little while.
- 9:00Speaker 1: I'm gonna let you not get into your field of
- 9:02Speaker 1: choice until you're twenty eight. I'm gonna have people talking
- 9:05Speaker 1: about if we had only seen him when he was younger.
- 9:07Speaker 1: I ain't gonna let you get your first can your
- 9:09Speaker 1: name till your thirty eight. I'm gonna make you go
- 9:12Speaker 1: through some things because one day I'm gonna put a
- 9:15Speaker 1: microphone in front of your mouth, and I want you
- 9:17Speaker 1: to honor me. I want you to talk about me.
- 9:20Speaker 1: I want you to tell people what I bought you through.
- 9:22Speaker 1: I want you to give people inspirational moments where they
- 9:25Speaker 1: can see that your life was jacked up for a
- 9:27Speaker 1: minute and I turned your life around for you. That's
- 9:31Speaker 1: God dealing with me. See. So now I finally understand
- 9:35Speaker 1: why I went through the life I went through, so
- 9:37Speaker 1: I can have something to say. See, I ain't over
- 9:40Speaker 1: here telling you about what I think a happened. I'm
- 9:43Speaker 1: telling you what I know can happen. That God does
- 9:46Speaker 1: make dreams come true. But sometime it take a minute.
- 9:49Speaker 1: Sometimes you're gonna have to do some things you don't
- 9:51Speaker 1: want to do in order to do what you want
- 9:54Speaker 1: to do. All right, all that you, I'm gonna be
- 9:56Speaker 1: tripping a day. You're listening show, Ladies and gentlemen, welcome

- 12:09Speaker 1: the top. Yeah. So let me ask you something much
- 12:15Speaker 1: because we get down to it Thanksgiving thirst, Okay, something
- 12:20Speaker 1: we don't never talk about because I know I got
- 12:22Speaker 1: the schedule. We need to talk about who's gonna lead
- 12:25Speaker 1: the prayer because we need to keep it to the food.
- 12:28Speaker 1: Quit praying for everybody. Just take too long to eat.
- 12:32Speaker 1: It's the problem. We're not praying for everybody's situation. They don't.
- 12:36Speaker 1: They think they too much. Here's what I decided. I
- 12:39Speaker 1: agree than was when the whole family come over. I
- 12:45Speaker 1: hate when they joined hand man and try to go
- 12:48Speaker 1: around in a circle that everybody say something they thankful. Yes,
- 12:54Speaker 1: that's what I don't like. Some people don't need to
- 12:56Speaker 1: talk Uncle ray for you know, thank you thank the
- 13:02Speaker 1: law from nineteen forty eight. Yea, what uncle ra what
- 13:07Speaker 1: nobody heal? Don't don't what nobody here for that uncle
- 13:13Speaker 1: don't want to hear this. And some people don't have
- 13:15Speaker 1: nothing to be thankful for, so shut up, shut up
- 13:18Speaker 1: and quit letting. These quit letting. These preachers separated that
- 13:23Speaker 1: ain't pastors or nothing. They just they own. They don't
- 13:26Speaker 1: really preach, they just called preachers. Can we get to
- 13:30Speaker 1: the subject of the food? All right? Well, look at
- 13:36Speaker 1: this coming up at thirty two minutes after the pastors. No,
- 13:42Speaker 1: right after this, you're listening to show time now for
- 13:48Speaker 1: the pastors and church complaints. Oh, we come to you
- 13:56Speaker 1: in a most badacious way by realizing that with hungariousness
- 14:05Speaker 1: we gather perpetuously prepetuous to be inaugurated. Yeah, not vaccinated,
- 14:17Speaker 1: but immunizated IMNI in the word, let us hear from
- 14:24Speaker 1: the deacon of church complaints. All right, past it, let's
- 14:28Speaker 1: get down to it. Some memories are asking can we
- 14:31Speaker 1: change it from turkey giveaways to oxtail giveaways. They would
- 14:38Speaker 1: like that. They don't want to take this here. They
- 14:40Speaker 1: want oxtail giveaways. But it's yo, carr. If we want
- 14:44Speaker 1: to sweech now, I will do that for a year.
- 14:47Speaker 1: But I do want you all to know it's hard
- 14:52Speaker 1: to make a left over oxtail slavage. I'm just gonna share,
- 15:00Speaker 1: very very hard on a day right now. You're gonna
- 15:02Speaker 1: you're gonna tell all your dinches out. Yeah, yeah, all right,
- 15:08Speaker 1: all right, we got some problems here. Now the vegan members.
- 15:11Speaker 1: I ask him for meals on who know who vegan? Vegan? Yeah,
- 15:18Speaker 1: the vegan members. I ask him for meals on with
- 15:20Speaker 1: to drive off a special downer for Thanksgiving. Now here's
- 15:23Speaker 1: what they want. Pass They won't CALLI flower mac and cheese.
- 15:27Speaker 1: They won't vegan barbecue, pulled squash, uh, turket tasting, portobella mushroom, uh,
- 15:35Speaker 1: blacking brussels rouse with came lize watermelon juice. And then
- 15:39Speaker 1: last they want the impossible to food turkey tips made
- 15:44Speaker 1: with chickpeas, Come on broccoli. We've delivered to the vegan
- 15:53Speaker 1: folks for the past four years, and what we've done
- 15:58Speaker 1: is sent over the usual that we have because we
- 16:04Speaker 1: don't have vegan food and we've put a vegan label
- 16:08Speaker 1: on every item and told them that's what it was.
- 16:11Speaker 1: And we haven't got a complaint or return plate. So
- 16:15Speaker 1: they ate real foods. You say your best to damn
- 16:19Speaker 1: bet you. They did, all right, and they and we
- 16:25Speaker 1: wrote on their called flower mac and cheese, and it
- 16:30Speaker 1: was just regular mac and cheese. And I can tell
- 16:33Speaker 1: that they enjoyed it because it not was not one
- 16:36Speaker 1: complaint or return plate. The turkey told food tips that
- 16:41Speaker 1: impossible Tips, that was actual turkey, all right. I didn't
- 16:48Speaker 1: know that all right now until we got a problem
- 16:52Speaker 1: on our hands system. Marissa phillips See asked the law
- 16:56Speaker 1: to remove, to remove everything right in her life. When
- 17:02Speaker 1: she woke up, signed him on and passed, she was
- 17:04Speaker 1: completely ballheaded, no eyebrows, breast was gone and yeah her
- 17:09Speaker 1: but it's gone too, She says, all her Louivitan and
- 17:12Speaker 1: gooty items are gone as well. She's asking for the church,
- 17:16Speaker 1: asking a tape for two thousand nins so she can
- 17:18Speaker 1: start her life over, but doesn't. Why would you ask
- 17:22Speaker 1: the church when you asked the Lord and he gave
- 17:26Speaker 1: it to you. Yeah, he did. He removed, asked him
- 17:29Speaker 1: to remove fake he did it that you want us
- 17:33Speaker 1: to come behind the Lord and try to undo or
- 17:38Speaker 1: proud that the Lord has answered. Yeah, girl, you must
- 17:42Speaker 1: not know that this jack pot joint. Yeah, we're gonna
- 17:46Speaker 1: do what he say do no. So, no, we're not
- 17:50Speaker 1: buying anything. But she's ball hit it past it. We
- 17:54Speaker 1: got this. She gonna scare the chip amber rosa ball here.
- 17:57Speaker 1: Anybody said nothing about that. I'm a y been moving
- 18:00Speaker 1: all right. Here's another situation. Sister Desiree keeps calling Jake
- 18:08Speaker 1: from State Farm late at night asking him what he wearing. Um,
- 18:12Speaker 1: Jake called the church asking can y'all get to stop?
- 18:23Speaker 1: Where do you wear? But Jake called the church and
- 18:28Speaker 1: wants us to get how to stop calling. That's sister
- 18:30Speaker 1: you know her beard web pack. Yeah, we're not. We
- 18:33Speaker 1: can't get involved in that. Sister Desiree has a mental
- 18:37Speaker 1: problem that we've been trying to solve over the years
- 18:41Speaker 1: at the church and we haven't come up with the solution.
- 18:44Speaker 1: So we just gonna leave her be. She pays her ties,
- 18:48Speaker 1: so let's not concern ourselves, all right, if you say so,
- 18:52Speaker 1: I moving right around, brother Cyrus boy, his wife asked
- 18:58Speaker 1: him for some red bottom shoes. Yeah, but then he
- 19:01Speaker 1: bought some shoes and painted the painted the bottom red.
- 19:05Speaker 1: Go ahead, yeah, there's red footprints that's all over the
- 19:09Speaker 1: church carpet. And of course they hear, so how do
- 19:13Speaker 1: we get brothers size to get this paint about this flower? Oh,
- 19:16Speaker 1: brother Cyruses has talked to me about that deacon. He
- 19:20Speaker 1: said he didn't ask her to where him to church.
- 19:24Speaker 1: He was expected to see him pointing at this chandelil
- 19:28Speaker 1: where the paint is definitely coming out for her the shoe,
- 19:30Speaker 1: that's all I'm saying. Well, I don't know what to
- 19:34Speaker 1: tell you. You know, he explained it to me. She's
- 19:39Speaker 1: not the only one. Oh, sister, Sister Clissa has tried
- 19:43Speaker 1: to start a new fad and she's been coming to
- 19:46Speaker 1: church with yellow bottom shoes, okay yellow about him? And
- 19:52Speaker 1: then she Pearl tried to make hub or b Tega
- 19:56Speaker 1: shoes and she came in with green bottoms. Now the
- 20:00Speaker 1: whole walkway at the church looked like a damn traffic black.
- 20:03Speaker 1: Lauren Manson, here's one of my things passes. We don't
- 20:06Speaker 1: know what happened to the fifty five turkeys that for giveaways,
- 20:09Speaker 1: but Junior Deacon Paul Walker was given away slicesse of
- 20:14Speaker 1: the turkey. So I don't know if he took all
- 20:18Speaker 1: the turks on what the case is, but fifty five
- 20:20Speaker 1: turkis is missing on the giveaways. Well, that explains the
- 20:23Speaker 1: success of this year's turkey giveaway. Or we fed five
- 20:28Speaker 1: thousand people he said he was trying to reenact the miracle.
- 20:33Speaker 1: Or when they had five fishing five loads of bread,
- 20:36Speaker 1: he took fifty five turkeys and fed five thousand total.
- 20:41Speaker 1: We enact. Good job, deconcious, incredible. Coming up next, it
- 20:52Speaker 1: is asked the CLO Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey in
- 20:55Speaker 1: the building for your love questions. Right after this, you're
- 20:59Speaker 1: listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming up. At the top
- 21:03Speaker 1: of the hour, we'll have our national news with miss
- 21:05Speaker 1: Anne Tripp, and we'll also have some entertainment news as well.
- 21:10Speaker 1: We'll talk about a brand new project Steve has. He's
- 21:15Speaker 1: going to announce it. It is big, It is big,
- 21:18Speaker 1: It is big, all right, But right now it is
- 21:21Speaker 1: time for ask the CLO Chief Love Office of Steve
- 21:25Speaker 1: Harvey in the building. First love question is from Joe
- 21:28Speaker 1: Anne in Topeka. Joe Anne, right to my two sisters
- 21:32Speaker 1: and I cook dinner each year for Thanksgiving at my parents' home.
- 21:35Speaker 1: Our baby brother has never contributed, but now that he's married,
- 21:39Speaker 1: we want to include his wife in the cookie. My
- 21:42Speaker 1: brother got mad and said we are wrong to pressure
- 21:45Speaker 1: his wife to participate in our family tradition. His wife
- 21:48Speaker 1: has two kids that we have to feed, so why
- 21:51Speaker 1: can't we ask her to help out and contribute a
- 21:53Speaker 1: dish or two? Is that too much to ask? No,
- 21:56Speaker 1: I mean it's a nice gesture. She want to fit
- 21:59Speaker 1: in with the family, you know, as now, your brother
- 22:02Speaker 1: might know something that y'all don't know. Yeah, she's gonna
- 22:08Speaker 1: bring something over there and you don't recognize. Okay, you know,
- 22:13Speaker 1: come up with a dish you're unfamiliar with on Thanksgiving?
- 22:17Speaker 1: Bacon castle row? What is that meat? Low surprise? Okay,
- 22:26Speaker 1: all right? Now his potato chips in it? All right?
- 22:37Speaker 1: So so you think, No, I think your brother's tripping.
- 22:42Speaker 1: You know, she might want to contribute to field part
- 22:45Speaker 1: of the family. And I don't know, maybe brother Marid
- 22:48Speaker 1: and she got two kids and they probably not his,
- 22:52Speaker 1: and he feeling some kind of way why you want
- 22:54Speaker 1: to put on the spot, or she's suffering from anxiety.
- 22:57Speaker 1: I don't know what to do. If I go over
- 22:59Speaker 1: there and they ask me, I don't know what to do,
- 23:01Speaker 1: and he trying to defend him. But you all should
- 23:03Speaker 1: just call and ask cud dollin. There's no pressure if
- 23:06Speaker 1: you don't want to. But we wanted to man invite
- 23:08Speaker 1: you to see if you wanted to be a part
- 23:10Speaker 1: of But if not, we understand, right because it sounds
- 23:12Speaker 1: like a nice gesture, all right. Moving on to Gina
- 23:15Speaker 1: and Detroit. Gina says, I've been married for two years
- 23:19Speaker 1: and my husband is great, but I can't stand his children.
- 23:23Speaker 1: They'll be with us two weeks for the holidays, and
- 23:26Speaker 1: I don't think I can take it. His daughter refers
- 23:28Speaker 1: to me as her and she and his son's calls
- 23:32Speaker 1: me the fat lady, or he'll call me Gina. They're
- 23:36Speaker 1: seven year old twins and they're old enough to get smacked.
- 23:39Speaker 1: Should I have a little talk with them myself? Yeah?
- 23:43Speaker 1: Pull him off to the side, that's what I do,
- 23:47Speaker 1: shake them. Yeah. Oh yeah. Let me tell you two
- 23:51Speaker 1: little blakely blanks. It's something about being up in my
- 23:53Speaker 1: house and this blankly bl blank blank holiday. You so
- 23:57Speaker 1: much as disrespect me one blank in time you see
- 24:00Speaker 1: your last blanketed blank Todd, you feel what I'm saying.
- 24:05Speaker 1: Look at me when I'm talking to you. Yes, I
- 24:09Speaker 1: snatched the I snatched the sugar honey iced tea out
- 24:14Speaker 1: of your albacore saucy sister. If you ever get in
- 24:20Speaker 1: mine mouth, functioning face, I would not you smooth fudge out.
- 24:32Speaker 1: I love the which you understand because you don't know
- 24:39Speaker 1: whose mother made this fudge and your damn show don't
- 24:43Speaker 1: know who you're fudging with it. Now, look at you.
- 24:46Speaker 1: Do you understand that, you little black crustard? Yeah, calling custard,
- 24:57Speaker 1: that's a nice way of saying, like, all right, So
- 25:02Speaker 1: I love that you say, yes, have a talk with
- 25:04Speaker 1: them her Yes, all right, but like moving huh, I'll
- 25:09Speaker 1: go ahead. Moving on to Cassandra in Evanston, Cassandra writes,
- 25:14Speaker 1: I'm twenty nine and I'm casually dating two guys and
- 25:17Speaker 1: I plan to have Thanksgiving dinner with them both. I'm
- 25:20Speaker 1: having dinner with one guy and his mom around one pm,
- 25:23Speaker 1: and then I'm going to the other guy's parents home
- 25:26Speaker 1: for an evening dinner. To me, it is the best
- 25:28Speaker 1: way to decide who should get my time and who
- 25:31Speaker 1: should be dumped. I'm not having sex with either of them.
- 25:34Speaker 1: So why is my mom telling me I'm playing with fire?
- 25:38Speaker 1: What am I doing wrong? Well, because you are playing
- 25:41Speaker 1: with five? Tommy said it best. Yeah. First of all,
- 25:45Speaker 1: you're eating too much, too long or too much? Yeah,
- 25:49Speaker 1: do you do that much? Because in a minute you're
- 25:52Speaker 1: gonna have to get some more weight on. So you
- 25:54Speaker 1: walk back and forth between all these houses. But I
- 25:58Speaker 1: don't know. You know the game you play and see, sister,
- 26:01Speaker 1: let me explain something to you. You already know which
- 26:03Speaker 1: one is better. So let's just stop this right here.
- 26:07Speaker 1: You already know this. Ain't you trying to decide? You
- 26:10Speaker 1: already know, but you want to play the game now.
- 26:14Speaker 1: You thank you cute on Thanksgiving. But let me explain
- 26:17Speaker 1: something to you. A man invites you over his house
- 26:19Speaker 1: to meet his mama, and you take him up on
- 26:22Speaker 1: that offer, and then you go by another man's house
- 26:24Speaker 1: to meet his mama. That's why your mama say you're
- 26:27Speaker 1: playing with fire because these two dudes is serious. That's
- 26:30Speaker 1: what you're doing wrong. Yeah, and you ain't no player,
- 26:33Speaker 1: so you go get busted. You need to cleans too,
- 26:39Speaker 1: and get all that food out of you. That's get
- 26:41Speaker 1: a lot of food mentioned way more than yeah. See,
- 26:46Speaker 1: but the problem you got is see if you go
- 26:48Speaker 1: over there and you didn't already got fool at one,
- 26:51Speaker 1: now you show up at seven. You know you think
- 26:53Speaker 1: you be ready to eat again, but a lot of
- 26:55Speaker 1: people ain't. And then one of the mama gonna cook
- 26:58Speaker 1: better than as I promise you that. All right, So
- 27:03Speaker 1: I hope you see now, Cassandra, all right. This last
- 27:06Speaker 1: one is from Miracle in the Bahamas. Miracle says, I'm
- 27:09Speaker 1: from Miami and I work in Nasau. My boyfriend was
- 27:13Speaker 1: supposed to move to be with me, but he told
- 27:17Speaker 1: me that he's making good money in Miami, so I
- 27:19Speaker 1: can come back home. It was always our dream to
- 27:22Speaker 1: leave Miami, and now he has changed the plans on me.
- 27:25Speaker 1: He said he'll marry me if I come home. Should
- 27:28Speaker 1: I give up and go back to him or beg
- 27:31Speaker 1: him to come be with me? Well, I can't tell
- 27:33Speaker 1: you what to do. I don't know the answer to that.
- 27:35Speaker 1: None of us do. We don't know the situation. But
- 27:38Speaker 1: who you think for the move from Miami to Nassau.
- 27:40Speaker 1: The who is that he did? No, but who's going
- 27:46Speaker 1: to do that? Everybody in Nasaw come to Miami to
- 27:49Speaker 1: shop everybody, everybody. I parted everything. So should she give
- 27:56Speaker 1: up what she's got going on? Shelly? I just said,
- 27:59Speaker 1: I can't answer, but you can quit asking his man brain,
- 28:02Speaker 1: his assholes Nassaw because he's not coming. That's the part
- 28:06Speaker 1: I'm telling you. I don't know what you should do,
- 28:09Speaker 1: but I know I not leaving Miami to live in Nassau,
- 28:13Speaker 1: even though I love Nassau, the humbles, the golf courses,
- 28:17Speaker 1: the people, some of the hotels, one and only the
- 28:22Speaker 1: cigars gray Stone man, I've had some wonderful time over there.
- 28:27Speaker 1: Then to the cigar factory over there. I love it
- 28:30Speaker 1: over that man staying at the cove, the one and only.
- 28:34Speaker 1: Let me go. Let me ask you this. He says,
- 28:37Speaker 1: he'll marry me. I should he? Well, do you want
- 28:41Speaker 1: to get married? I mean, yay? That All these words
- 28:44Speaker 1: with no action, that's easy right here. You remember them
- 28:46Speaker 1: other words? Was ya, I was gonna go to Nassau.
- 28:49Speaker 1: Actions is he stayed in Miami? You know I marry you?
- 28:53Speaker 1: Those his words? Actions is here's a ring. More action
- 28:58Speaker 1: is here's a date he see? Stop listening to words
- 29:02Speaker 1: and get some action. It's all I got to say
- 29:05Speaker 1: about it. Now, that's good advice right there. Clo coming
- 29:09Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, Thank you. But
- 29:15Speaker 1: we have a big announcement from the one and Ellie

- 31:06Speaker 1: the color. I got a hole new and I'm releasing
- 31:08Speaker 1: it in capsules, slowly but surely because I've changed the
- 31:12Speaker 1: suit line completely, all the shirts. Everything is different now
- 31:17Speaker 1: because I decided to get involved. Got my stylist, Ellie

- 31:59Speaker 1: You notice I wear a lot of mono, monochrome, mono craphic,
- 32:03Speaker 1: whatever you want to call monochrome looks Monald Craft. So
- 32:06Speaker 1: if you want to match your shirt and your tie
- 32:08Speaker 1: a little bit closer, give you that monomalistic or surely monochromatic.

- 32:47Speaker 1: you can do it. And then there's which is really
- 32:50Speaker 1: great too. I think that's great. I was asking, do
- 32:54Speaker 1: you need model for these times? Yeah? Yeah, and the
- 32:57Speaker 1: model I need? Yeah, your little ass leads to buy
- 33:00Speaker 1: to Molly. Yeah, y'all need some moms. Yea every Yeah,
- 33:13Speaker 1: yass needs to buy the model. I know what you make. Well,
- 33:19Speaker 1: all right, y'all, she's here. Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome
- 33:22Speaker 1: to one and only miss Anne Tripp. Thanks Steve, Thanks everybody.
- 33:26Speaker 1: This is a trip with the news. Let's get to it,
- 33:28Speaker 1: and there's a lot to get to. The newly acquitted
- 33:30Speaker 1: eighteen year old Kenosha killer called Rittenhouse is now the
- 33:34Speaker 1: poster boys you would expect for gun rights and white supremacists.
- 33:37Speaker 1: In fact, he's being offered jobs on the staffs of
- 33:39Speaker 1: Republican Congressman Matt Gates and even Paul Gosar, who you
- 33:43Speaker 1: remember was a center just last week. I told you
- 33:45Speaker 1: for posting a cartoon where he just depicted as killing
- 33:48Speaker 1: progressive Democrat Alexandriocazio Cortez. However, a local paper, Wisconsin State Journal,
- 33:55Speaker 1: writes at Rittenhouse is no hero, that he behaved like
- 33:57Speaker 1: a vigilante and didn't deserve to walk free. Written House says,
- 34:01Speaker 1: no things are right. The jury reached the correct verde
- 34:04Speaker 1: self defenses not illegal, and he insisted he's not a racist.
- 34:08Speaker 1: By the way, Contrary to that, the Reverend Al Sharpton
- 34:10Speaker 1: was on NBC's Meet the press and says the outcome
- 34:13Speaker 1: sets a dangerous precedent. You send a signal now that
- 34:16Speaker 1: people can come into a protest and exacerbate a situation,
- 34:20Speaker 1: or get involved in a situation and kill people. In
- 34:23Speaker 1: salvag was just defending myself. That's very frightening. And now
- 34:26Speaker 1: the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, Jerry Naydler, calls
- 34:30Speaker 1: the Rittenhouse verdict a heartbreaking miscarriage of justice. He's asking
- 34:34Speaker 1: for a federal view of the trial by the Department
- 34:37Speaker 1: of Justice. A lot of things going on in the
- 34:39Speaker 1: courts these days, on the heels of Fridays called Rittenhouse acquittals.
- 34:42Speaker 1: We've got closing arguments scheduled today in Georgia in the
- 34:45Speaker 1: trial of those three white men who chased, corralled, and
- 34:48Speaker 1: shot and killed an innocent, unarmed black dog named Ahmed
- 34:51Speaker 1: robbery By five year Aubrey was murdered last year. The
- 34:55Speaker 1: man who shot Aubrey's claiming self defense for so many
- 34:57Speaker 1: that verged in this case will be yet another litt
- 35:00Speaker 1: test on racial justice in America. At the same time, though,
- 35:04Speaker 1: I gotta tell you, Kansas City, Missouri cop was convicted
- 35:07Speaker 1: a Friday of manslaughter for shooting and killing an innocent
- 35:10Speaker 1: black man who was backing his red pickup into his
- 35:13Speaker 1: own garage. Eric de Vulcanare then found guilty of manslaughter
- 35:16Speaker 1: for recklessly killing mister Cameron Lamb, who was not armed.
- 35:19Speaker 1: In twenty nineteen. The shooting occurred not long after police
- 35:22Speaker 1: helicopter spotted the red truck and purple Mustang racing through
- 35:26Speaker 1: the streets. De Vulcaneer happens across mister Lamb in his
- 35:29Speaker 1: own vehicle, enters Lamb's property without a warrant, knocks over
- 35:33Speaker 1: a fence, and shot and killed Lamb without only seconds
- 35:36Speaker 1: of pulling up. Again, these cars were only speeding. It's
- 35:40Speaker 1: not like they'd killed anybody. Meanwhile, the jury resumes deliberations
- 35:43Speaker 1: today and the federal civil trial of the organizers of
- 35:46Speaker 1: the twenty seventeen Unite the Right rally in Charlesmann, Virginia.
- 35:49Speaker 1: Remember that nine Charles Wild restaurants suing the white supremacist group,
- 35:53Speaker 1: saying that the documents and stuff they present showed that
- 35:56Speaker 1: was a planned violent rally. By the way, just for information,
- 35:58Speaker 1: Mike Tyson is not dead. He was colde of saying
- 36:00Speaker 1: he thinks he died the first time he tried the
- 36:02Speaker 1: psychedelic drug of the toad venom, but since then, he
- 36:06Speaker 1: says he's tripped on it some fifty times. Toad Venom.
- 36:10Speaker 1: Now back to back to the Steve Harvey Boarding show.
- 36:14Speaker 1: You're listening to show, It's time to look into Jay's mind. Steve,
- 36:20Speaker 1: come on, ladies and gentlemen, Jay Anthony Brown. Please let
- 36:23Speaker 1: me start this by saying, I apologize to whoever I
- 36:29Speaker 1: have been. I'm apologizing before I started, and this was
- 36:33Speaker 1: just for me. I'm not speaking for the masses on
- 36:36Speaker 1: the show. Don't speak for Sherlo, don't speak for college,
- 36:39Speaker 1: don't speak for time It, don't speak for junior definitely,
- 36:41Speaker 1: don't speak for missus Harvey. All I'm asking my friends is,
- 36:46Speaker 1: do not invite me to a Quanza celebration. Okay, don't
- 36:51Speaker 1: call me, don't ask me to come. I've been to
- 36:55Speaker 1: a several. In my opinion, this is just me. They're boring,
- 37:01Speaker 1: this is me. I'm just saying, I've never been to
- 37:03Speaker 1: a Quanza party where people left the parties in that
- 37:07Speaker 1: Quanza party. Oh that it never happened in the history
- 37:13Speaker 1: of Quanza. Quanza celebrates Africa. Who I don't know the
- 37:18Speaker 1: days because I ain't trying to remember the damn days. Okay,
- 37:21Speaker 1: this is just me. I've been the three. They're boring
- 37:25Speaker 1: as hell. Don't try to meet me someplace in the
- 37:29Speaker 1: mall and low talk intelligent me. You know how black
- 37:32Speaker 1: people try to low talk and tress. I heard shit.
- 37:39Speaker 1: Don't even come at me with that. Okay, this is
- 37:41Speaker 1: just me. I'm not coming. I've been in a Quandza parade.
- 37:45Speaker 1: It was me afloat in a in a car and
- 37:49Speaker 1: that was it, and anybody went home. It ain't caught
- 37:54Speaker 1: on Okay, no it ain't. It ain't called on the No.

- 38:12Speaker 1: Just give me one. Don't give me the black and
- 38:14Speaker 1: white you need to look. I'm just asking for me.
- 38:20Speaker 1: I love the thing's gonna men use black eyed peas
- 38:22Speaker 1: and greens and stuff like that. Sitting run with a

- 38:39Speaker 1: I love you together when you stopped by the No. No,
- 38:44Speaker 1: he's still angry for Jack. Just had to get this

- 46:52Speaker 1: check the paperwork. I can check the paperwork and see
- 46:55Speaker 1: what the problem is. Now, if you gave me the
- 46:57Speaker 1: wrong information, your family gave me wrong information. Then we
- 47:00Speaker 1: just put down where we would give it. And if
- 47:02Speaker 1: we gotta change something, we gonna change it. But it's

- 48:20Speaker 1: see what now I'm getting excited to comment. Man, let
- 48:24Speaker 1: me just talk to you like a man. What I'm
- 48:26Speaker 1: saying in you is that the family seals out the paperwork,
- 48:31Speaker 1: put the name in the birth date on there. If
- 48:34Speaker 1: it is incorrect, it has to be fixed. I have
- 48:36Speaker 1: to call the man out here to fix it, and
- 48:39Speaker 1: that's gonna call some money. I have to pay him.
- 48:41Speaker 1: All I'm saying is if that is the case, if
- 48:44Speaker 1: the paperwork is incorrect, it's not own us, and I
- 48:47Speaker 1: might have to charge you a little extra money just
- 48:49Speaker 1: so I can get it taken care of. To get
- 48:51Speaker 1: charge money, man, we ain't got no money. We ain't
- 48:58Speaker 1: got no more na tell you. I'm gonna tell you
- 49:00Speaker 1: one more time, mister Kendrick. If I don't see a child,
- 49:04Speaker 1: I'm coming after this evening, and look at my HANDI Toomstock.
- 49:07Speaker 1: I'm coming out there now. If the date and the
- 49:10Speaker 1: name ain't fixed, I promise you so help me. I'm
- 49:14Speaker 1: gonna start digging up about it. And if your answers
- 49:16Speaker 1: out there, I'm gonna put you in one of them
- 49:18Speaker 1: homes up and I'll tell you what veggid. You're not
- 49:21Speaker 1: gonna put me in no home? Man, I like I say,
- 49:24Speaker 1: I try to. I'm trying to talk to you and
- 49:27Speaker 1: tell you what the deal is and how we will
- 49:30Speaker 1: get this fix. Ain't nobody come out here and dig
- 49:32Speaker 1: it up nothing? I've called them. I bet you, I
- 49:35Speaker 1: bet you I'm digging up a hole and I'm putting it.
- 49:38Speaker 1: If you don't fix my HANDI Toombstar, then we both
- 49:41Speaker 1: were going in the damn hole. That's what's gonna happen.
- 49:43Speaker 1: We're both going in that end because somebody want to
- 49:46Speaker 1: fix mister round and put the room day you want
- 49:48Speaker 1: to put the spill my hand man runing everything. I
- 49:53Speaker 1: don't even answer the damn phone my uncle, get kissings
- 49:57Speaker 1: REGI region. I'm gonna fix nothing. Me and you yelling
- 50:01Speaker 1: at each other. We mean, we don't do this. Yelling
- 50:05Speaker 1: at each other is not gonna fix the problem. I
- 50:08Speaker 1: still have to do a step here. I have to
- 50:10Speaker 1: look at this paperwork. But when are you gonna look
- 50:12Speaker 1: at it then? Whether you keep yelling. I don't even
- 50:14Speaker 1: have tiny gold with its paperwork. Every time I get
- 50:16Speaker 1: really look at something, you're yelling in my head. Me
- 50:18Speaker 1: this one more time. I'm coming at money. I'm gonna
- 50:21Speaker 1: come out there right now. That's where I'm gonna do.
- 50:24Speaker 1: You know what we're to Come on? Then I try
- 50:26Speaker 1: to talk nice to your Tell you what tu. I
- 50:29Speaker 1: told you that this is a fan of business. You're
- 50:30Speaker 1: just respecting me. You come out here and you ain't
- 50:33Speaker 1: no because when we both go the whole days. That's
- 50:36Speaker 1: what I'm trying to tell you right now. But the way,
- 50:46Speaker 1: because they're guarantee you y'all gonna check, I'm gonna bring
- 50:49Speaker 1: then bring that you ain't no, because then bigger bull
- 50:53Speaker 1: seven holds I'll be when they get rid of the
- 50:59Speaker 1: wrong women. Come on, you ain't gonna I need to

- 54:16Speaker 1: live here that live on the air, just like we're
- 54:19Speaker 1: gonna do this one right here, right now. Buggle up,
- 54:23Speaker 1: hold on tight. We got it for you here. It
- 54:25Speaker 1: is strawberry letter subject. I caught them on the side
- 54:29Speaker 1: of the road. Dear Stephen Shirley. I've been married for
- 54:32Speaker 1: almost twenty years to a man that is very frugal.
- 54:36Speaker 1: He is still driving the same Maxima he had when
- 54:39Speaker 1: we met, and it's about to fall apart. He was
- 54:42Speaker 1: so upset last year when I bought myself a twenty
- 54:45Speaker 1: twenty Escalade with all the bells and whistles, because he
- 54:49Speaker 1: said it's a waste of money. I worked too hard
- 54:52Speaker 1: to be driving an old, raggedy car. But I do
- 54:54Speaker 1: feel sorry for him when he has to drive to
- 54:57Speaker 1: meetings at his company's headquarters with his one and twenty
- 55:01Speaker 1: miles away, which is one twenty miles away from our house.
- 55:05Speaker 1: The Maxima can't make it, so I allow him to
- 55:07Speaker 1: drive my car. On Monday night, he said he was
- 55:12Speaker 1: going to put gas in my car so he could
- 55:14Speaker 1: leave early Tuesday morning. I was asleep when he left.
- 55:19Speaker 1: Around ten am. I got a text from roadside Assistance
- 55:23Speaker 1: letting me know help was on the way. I called
- 55:25Speaker 1: to see what was going on with my car. The
- 55:28Speaker 1: rep told me that it looked like my car was
- 55:30Speaker 1: disabled on an exit ramp because it ran out of gas.
- 55:34Speaker 1: I asked her for the exact location, and I jumped
- 55:38Speaker 1: in the dusty Maxima and hit the road, praying that
- 55:41Speaker 1: it wouldn't break down. I found my escalade and I
- 55:45Speaker 1: pulled up behind it. I didn't see my husband, so
- 55:48Speaker 1: I unlocked the door. That's when I saw him and
- 55:52Speaker 1: his coworker lying on the back seat, grinding on each other.
- 55:59Speaker 1: If I had only waited a few more minutes, they
- 56:02Speaker 1: would have been having sex. My husband said he ran
- 56:05Speaker 1: out of gas and they had been waiting a long time.
- 56:08Speaker 1: So one thing led to another. Who all right, Not
- 56:16Speaker 1: only did he mess up my car by running out
- 56:19Speaker 1: of gas, he tried to have sex with another woman
- 56:22Speaker 1: in my car. He is disgusting and I don't want
- 56:26Speaker 1: him or the car anymore. The woman begged for my forgiveness,
- 56:30Speaker 1: but she's not the issue. We have kids to consider,
- 56:33Speaker 1: and he's begging me to work it out. What should
- 56:36Speaker 1: I do? I know, I know, I know it's complicated
- 56:40Speaker 1: because you have children and everything, but this was just
- 56:43Speaker 1: so stupid on your husband's part. But what do you
- 56:48Speaker 1: think you should do when you catch your frugal as
- 56:51Speaker 1: you call it, I'm just gonna say, cheap blank husband
- 56:54Speaker 1: of twenty years in the back seat, grinding on his coworker.
- 56:59Speaker 1: He's lying to you. You catch him on the side
- 57:01Speaker 1: of the road in your truck. This is the same
- 57:04Speaker 1: truck that you were very generous and thoughtful and caring
- 57:07Speaker 1: enough to let him use to make it to work.
- 57:10Speaker 1: He had no regard for you, no regard for the car,
- 57:13Speaker 1: none of that. He just lied. He didn't even want
- 57:17Speaker 1: to get it at first. He didn't even want you
- 57:19Speaker 1: to get it at first, I should say. But now
- 57:21Speaker 1: he's all in there about to sleep with another woman.
- 57:23Speaker 1: And don't believe your husband about one thing led to another.
- 57:28Speaker 1: That first one thing, you know, should have never happened.
- 57:31Speaker 1: It should have never happened. That was intentional, that was planned,
- 57:35Speaker 1: I believe. And this is not the first time and
- 57:39Speaker 1: or the only time they've been together. Don't be surprised
- 57:42Speaker 1: if they're having a full fledged affair down there at
- 57:44Speaker 1: that job. And I think there's just a lot more
- 57:48Speaker 1: to this story that he's not telling you. So I
- 57:50Speaker 1: think you should do what's best for you and the
- 57:52Speaker 1: kids at this point. Whatever that means. If that means
- 57:55Speaker 1: putting him out, do that, separating, do that, Divorce him
- 57:58Speaker 1: and take everything, take him to the cleaners. Uh, if
- 58:02Speaker 1: you want anything, don't even let him have a raggedy Maxima,
- 58:06Speaker 1: keep that too. You have a lot of options here. Uh.
- 58:09Speaker 1: You know what to do, and I think you should
- 58:11Speaker 1: do it. Steve, Yeah, you can't. You can't unsee what
- 58:19Speaker 1: you saw them grinding. You can't unsee that. Oh, that's true.
- 58:23Speaker 1: I called him on the side of the rule. I
- 58:25Speaker 1: don't even understand how this happened. I don't. You've been
- 58:32Speaker 1: mad twenty years. He's frugal driving him Maxima, you met,
- 58:40Speaker 1: you know it's about to fall apart. Then he got
- 58:44Speaker 1: mad at you because you bought a twenty twenty escalade
- 58:46Speaker 1: with all the bells and whistles. He said it was
- 58:49Speaker 1: a waste of money. You know what I mean. You
- 58:52Speaker 1: say you work too hard to be riding. I don't
- 58:54Speaker 1: know why we got to hear all this, you know,
- 58:56Speaker 1: but I do feel sorry for when he got dried
- 58:58Speaker 1: and meetings at his coming to head hundred and twenty
- 59:01Speaker 1: miles from my house, the maximum can't make it. So
- 59:04Speaker 1: I allowed him to drive my car on Monday night.
- 59:07Speaker 1: He said he's going to put gas in my car
- 59:09Speaker 1: so he could leave early Tuesday morning. I was asleep
- 59:14Speaker 1: when he left round ten am. Now he will, he
- 59:17Speaker 1: will go crazy. I got a text on the roadside
- 59:20Speaker 1: assistance letting me know help was on the way. So
- 59:26Speaker 1: I'm trying to figure out do these do these cars
- 59:30Speaker 1: have that like own star in it and they know
- 59:33Speaker 1: what's wrong with your car? Something like that. Okay, so
- 59:38Speaker 1: the rep told me it looked like my car was
- 59:40Speaker 1: disabled on an exit ramp because it ran out of gas. Now,
- 59:48Speaker 1: your husband said he's gonna put gas in the car
- 59:50Speaker 1: the night before so he could take it. I don't
- 59:54Speaker 1: know who got a girl in the car and the
- 59:56Speaker 1: ain't got no damn getaway gas. I'm just there's such
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: a thing as gas, right, Yeah, you can't be cheating
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: in a car and ain't got the gas to cheat.
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: You ain't bought a room, you do, how frugal is he?
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: He don't put gas in the tank. He don't buy rooms, damn.
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: So when we come back, I'm gonna break the rest
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: of this letter down. And you're not gonna like what
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: I have to say. You just dot. We'll have part
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: two of Steve's response coming up at twenty three minutes
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: after the hour Strawberry Letters. Subject for today, I caught
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: them on the side of the road. We'll get back
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: into it right after this. You're listening to show, all right,
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: Come on, Steve, let's recap today's crazy Strawberry letter. H
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: The subject is I caught them on the side of
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: the road. Here we go with part two. So this
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: man uh takes his wife escalated. That's all we need
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: to know. Was supposed to gas it up the night before,
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: but he didn't. He gets in the truck about ten
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: am and he goes to the company meeting that's one
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: hundred and twenty miles away. That's all you need to know. Well,
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: around ten am, the lady got a text from road
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: side Assistance letting her know that help was on the way.
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: So then she called and see what was going on
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: with the car, and the rep told her that it
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: looked like my car was disabled on an exit ramp
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: because it ran out of gas. Now, a couple of
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: things here. Obviously, that's some own star capability that's in
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: a car. Text you something wrong with the car. Maybe
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: it was so low on gas that it looked like
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: it was out of gas. I cannot believe he ran
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: out of gas, But then he could have because you
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: said in the letter he's frugal. He didn't want you
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: to get this new truck anyway. He said it was
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: a waste of money. So now the rep tails you
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: look like the car is out of gas, and so
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: you asked the exact location. You jump in his raggedy
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: maximum and you hit the road, praying that it wouldn't
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: break down. You found your escalade pulled up behind it.
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: Did not see your husband, so you unlocked the door.
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: That's when I saw him and his coworker lying on
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: the back seat, grinding on each other. If I had
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: only waited a few more minutes, they would have had sex.
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: My husband said he ran out of gas, and they
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: had been waiting for a long time. So one thing
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: led to another. Why in God's name are we having
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: this discussion his depart I know y'all ain't gonna like
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: when she walked up on that car and opened that door,
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: and you in here grinding on your coworker, and you
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: turned around and saw was hugged Why did you not
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: get out of the truck and just walk down in
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: that ravine and go into the woods. Why would you
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: stand there and have this damn conversation which is not
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: a winnable conversation. Why this man, when he was grinding,
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: turn around and saw his wife back his ass down
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: out of that back seat. Don't even turn and let
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: your wife see your face when you turn and you
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: know he's a scoot down off of that lady with
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: your back to the door and walk your ass down
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: that ravine and go off in the woods. That would
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: at least bought you some time. Jill, stupid ass said
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: he ran out of gas and they had been waiting
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: for a long time. So one thing led to another.
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: All this could have been avoided if you once again
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: had to walk down in that ravine and got your
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: ass sen in woods. Now they're gonna send the hounds
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: for you. Did you hear the conversation? Just what would
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: that if he had walked to the ravine? What I mean,
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: I'm just didn't he wouldn't have had that used that
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: dumb ass excuse that they ran out of gas and
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: they waited so long, and they were waiting so long.
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: One thing led to another. Ain't no one thing led
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: to nothing. If you keep your back to your wife,
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: scoop down off of that lady in that back seat,
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: never face her and walk down that ravine and going
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: in woods when they find you. Somebody stole her truck.
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: And I don't know who you saw back that grinding
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: on that lady, but it was not me. That's why
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: I asked. That's why you guts to get in the woods.
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: Your crazy Make the sound of what it would sound
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: like walking through woods? Yes, I sound, yes, I can't
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: hear it. This is walking naked in woods? Your naked,
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: well you're not. You gotta you gotta share it on
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: but down the bottom part is completely and you barefoot
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: or sound? Hey you for asking, you for doing it? Yes?
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: What is that? Is that a spider? What's all these legs?
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: What is this on? Me? Quiet? Be quiet? You know
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: what that is right there? That's the sound of pet
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: running down his leg. Anyway, I just need pushing down now.
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: All of a sudden you have Oh what the houns
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: is after me to stay low? I got to find
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: me a creak so I can throw him off my track. Yeah,

- 1:06:39Speaker 1: the week. It ain't no answer for you later, I
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: ain't got nothing for you. I can't tell if you
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: don't leave you man, I don't give a damn. You
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: d got kids. I know you got to get that
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: car burned out. That whole back seat got to get burned.
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: All right, Hit us up on Instagram and Steve Harvey
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: FM with your thoughts on today's Strubbery Strubbery Letter podcast. Man,
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: We'll be back with more of the Steve Harvey Morning
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: Show at forty six minutes after. Right after this, you're
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. The House of
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: Representatives have passed President Biden's landmark one point nine trillion
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: Billback Better Act, which provides funding for variety of social
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: and environmental priorities. The bill passed by a nearly party
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: line two twenty to two thirteen vote, and it will
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: go to the Senate, where it will likely face even
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: more disputes and force more changes. The bill would funnel
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: money to support changes to healthcare, taxation, energy, climate change,
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: family services, education, and housing. This passage came at the
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: end of last week after President Biden signed is one
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: trillion dollar package for infrastructure projects to at least it
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: passed in the House. Yeah, so getting some kind of
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: work done. Yeah, it's a win for him, It's a
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: win he needed best. Yeah, Yeah, definitely, this administration needs
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: that that victory. You know what. It's just, you know,
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: I watch Fox a lot because I always like to
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: see what the enemy is doing. I'm, I'm, I'm. It's
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: it's alarming, man, how divided we are as a nation.
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: And I see no chance of us healing. You know,
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: Joe Biden is one of the great politicians, has always
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: been a way to work across the aisle. It's not
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: gonna happen, man. This country is so divided. They are
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: so full of Trump, which is what they've always been.
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: But this this this group, man is like it's it's
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: sad man, or what we're doing, not only the bipartisan
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: but let me just go back for a minute. Have
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: you watched Fox since the Kyle Rittenhoward trial Kyle Rittenhouse
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: dog cut on Fox? It's a major celebration over there.
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: It's unbelievable, man, that an entire chance of people can
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: celebrate a person getting away with murder. Yeah, he's gonna
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: be on um, you know, they're doing a double murder,
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: double homicide. He killed two people, and the judge that
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: allowed the lawyers to call them victims, but um Tucker
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: Carlston followed him and they're doing a whole documentary on this,
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: this trial. It's almost like Kyle Rittenhouse doesn't even grasp
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: that he killed two people, like well he grasped. Once
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: they have finished with him, they're gonna dump his ass
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: like they do all these other people. They put on
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: a pedestal for a while, the pillow guy, Um, the
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: guy down in Florida. They do it for a short while,
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: and then they forget you looking really, Julianna, he can't
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: even get on the Fox network now, his phone calls answered, Yeah,
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: they both changed the Republican Party. Yeah, and she said
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: the best thing. She said, I have no respect for
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: Ted Crews. You don't even take for your wife, you know,
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: I mean, but like, like it's people, this this country
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: is so divided, and they're not gonna get undivided. Yeah,
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: they're just not. They've decided that's how they're gonna live.
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: And they're gonna do it out loud. I'm not going Yeah,
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: they're gonna do it out loud. Exactly all right. Coming
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, we'll have more

- 1:23:24Speaker 1: You got Christmas parties, you got gatherings, you got family
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: coming over, you got shopping to go do. But y'all,
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: at the end of the day, when all of this
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: is done, you still got to live pursuing your dreams.
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: Man makes life worth living. Have you ever heard people say, Man,
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: this year just blew by? You know why? A person
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: usually says that for a couple of reasons. They have
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: a job that they enjoy going to, or they live
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: in their best life, or they're simply enjoying their life.
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: Ain't nobody miserable, Nobody going down to a job they hate,
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: Nobody ain't living a good life? Talking about boy this
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: year just blewe by. No, it didn't. It's dragon. It's arguous.
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: It's it's it's just too monotonous for it to be
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: blowing by. If your life is monotonous, it's because you're
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: not living in your dream, you're not living in your gift.
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: If you want to really live, man, go pursue your gift.
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: Even in the route to attaining your dreams. You feel
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: good about it, you know, man, You know what happens
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: when you really get busy pursuing your dreams. You run
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: out of daylight. You just keep running out of time.
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: You never get everything accomplished that you set out to do.
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: You know why, because you're in pursuit of something the
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: great man, and it takes time, and you're always running
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: out a day and next thing, you know, the whole
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: year then gone by. But you know another reason that
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: people say this year went by because they blessed. It's
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: just real simple, man, It's just cause you blessed. Because
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: God has giving you some grace and some mercy along
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: the way that has allowed you to enjoy some moments,
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: feel some upsides, be able to handle the strife, to
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: deal with the setbacks, and cope with the misunderstandings, and
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: all the peaks and valleys of life. Because of God's grace.
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: We could say we made it, and we can say
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: these years blowing by. But you gotta have God, you
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: gotta have a dream, you gotta get in pursuit of it. Y'all.
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: Don't wait till the new year to pursue your dreams.
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: We got too many days left in twenty twenty one.
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: And if God give you a day, do something with it,
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: do something with it. You know, I have a lot
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: of people at all in the audience at my show,
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: and one of the things I've had them repeat a
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: lot to me over the past two weeks was the
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: quote that I made that at the beginning of every day,
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: God gives us eighty four thousand, six hundred seconds, and
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: it's your job to spend them all very wisely and
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: invest them. Because you don't get to bank them. You
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: just get a new eighty four thousand, six hundred seconds.
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: So since you got a lot of seconds left in
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: twenty twenty one, if I was you, I would do
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: something with them. Stop burning daylight, y'all and start living
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: your life. Fulfill your dreams, start enjoying yourself. Come alive, everybody,
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: don't exist, Come alive, Go for it. Those are my
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: closing remarks as all I wanted to say today. So
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: that's it. I'm done. Now, got some seconds left, but
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: I'm officially through Junior. You've been working out a lot,
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: so you got your Echo Knock shirt. Hey, y'all, have
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: a happy holiday. Don't want you to forget that. Have
- 1:26:59Speaker 1: a great holiday, he went from Junior. Yeah, because I
