- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome.
- 0:01Speaker 2: It is Verdict with Ted Cruz live from Seapack twenty
- 0:05Speaker 2: twenty five.
- 0:11Speaker 1: Center. It's uh, I like.
- 0:13Speaker 2: This being our annual time to hang out with fun people.
- 0:17Speaker 3: Well, it is great to be back with Seapack. And
- 0:19Speaker 3: I gotta say Seapack this year. There is energy, there's excitement.
- 0:26Speaker 3: It turns out winning doesn't suck.
- 0:28Speaker 2: It does not.
- 0:30Speaker 3: And we have a guest. We have the Attorney General
- 0:33Speaker 3: of the United States, Pam Bondy.
- 0:40Speaker 4: So these guys never invite me to be on their podcast.
- 0:44Speaker 1: They finally did and I get a jo it in
- 0:46Speaker 1: front of all of you. So this is awesome.
- 0:48Speaker 3: Well, Pam, I will tell you that that there is
- 0:50Speaker 3: some good karma to being on this podcast at Seapack
- 0:55Speaker 3: with someone named jd Vance.
- 0:56Speaker 1: He's all right for him, sir, he's a great man.
- 1:00Speaker 3: So welcome.
- 1:01Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 1:02Speaker 3: You have been Attorney General fifteen.
- 1:05Speaker 1: Day it feels like fifteen years.
- 1:07Speaker 3: I believe you. And by the way, you just got
- 1:10Speaker 3: some help an hour ago. The Senate just finished confirmation.
- 1:14Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:19Speaker 1: I've been on the phone with him NonStop.
- 1:22Speaker 3: I talked to him on the ride over here. He
- 1:24Speaker 3: is going to do fantastic. All right, let's start fifteen days,
- 1:29Speaker 3: You've come into what I think is the single most
- 1:32Speaker 3: important cabinet position in this administration, because we went through
- 1:37Speaker 3: four years of Biden weaponizing the Department of Justice, using
- 1:41Speaker 3: it to attack his enemies and to support his friends.
- 1:46Speaker 3: So let me ask you, come into DOJ. You've got
- 1:48Speaker 3: a mission. You've got a mission to restore integrity to
- 1:51Speaker 3: the department, to end the weaponization and politicization. How do
- 1:56Speaker 3: you do that? How do you get that done?
- 1:59Speaker 4: You know the volume, Senator, what concerned me the most.
- 2:04Speaker 4: It's the volume of how bad it was and it
- 2:09Speaker 4: still is. We're working on it. It's day by day
- 2:11Speaker 4: by day. But we've got a team of great people.
- 2:15Speaker 4: And on day one I issued fourteen executive orders, and
- 2:18Speaker 4: number one is the weaponization ends, and it ends now.
- 2:22Speaker 1: And that's what we did.
- 2:28Speaker 3: Let me ask you something. In the fifteen days you've
- 2:30Speaker 3: been there, how many DOJ employees have said something to
- 2:35Speaker 3: the effect of thank God?
- 2:38Speaker 1: A lot of them, I believe you.
- 2:39Speaker 3: Look. I spent four years hearing from a USA's assistant
- 2:45Speaker 3: US attorneys, hearing from FBI agents, hearing from men and
- 2:48Speaker 3: women who believe in the rule of law and were
- 2:51Speaker 3: horrified at the politicization of the FBI and the DOJ,
- 2:55Speaker 3: and so I know for a lot of good, honorable
- 3:00Speaker 3: men and women who devoted their careers to defending the Constitution,
- 3:04Speaker 3: there's a lot of gratitude that they can get back
- 3:10Speaker 3: to doing their job.
- 3:11Speaker 1: Their core function. And that's thanks to Donald J.
- 3:13Speaker 4: Trump getting back in office, and he gave us a
- 3:17Speaker 4: clear directive make America safe.
- 3:20Speaker 1: And that's what we're going to do. And you know,
- 3:22Speaker 1: these to start with.
- 3:23Speaker 4: The law enforcement agencies talking about cash. These men and
- 3:27Speaker 4: women didn't go to Quantico. They're not risking their lives
- 3:30Speaker 4: to waste their time on all this politicization and rating
- 3:34Speaker 4: mar A Lago. Really stopping all of that is stopping,
- 3:38Speaker 4: and we are returning them to their core function fighting
- 3:41Speaker 4: violent crime. And that's what the great majority of men
- 3:45Speaker 4: and women in law enforcement DEA A. T. F. US
- 3:47Speaker 4: Marshall's FBI, as well as the incredible legal team at
- 3:52Speaker 4: the Justice Department, that's what they want to do.
- 3:55Speaker 3: So let's talk about one of the most lawless aspects
- 3:58Speaker 3: of the last four years, which was the open borders
- 4:00Speaker 3: that we saw and the twelve million illegal immigrants that
- 4:03Speaker 3: have come into this country. You've had just two weeks.
- 4:06Speaker 3: But you've hit the ground running, going after the criminals,
- 4:10Speaker 3: going after the murderers, going after the rapists, going after
- 4:13Speaker 3: the child molesters, going after the Venezuelan gang members. Tell
- 4:19Speaker 3: us number one, what you're doing as Attorney General, that
- 4:24Speaker 3: is making a real difference, that is already making America safer.
- 4:28Speaker 3: And number two, I understand you have some breaking news
- 4:31Speaker 3: concerning my home state of Texas, which I'm particularly proud
- 4:33Speaker 3: to hear.
- 4:34Speaker 4: I do, I do, and the press really even out yet.
- 4:37Speaker 4: Joint Task Force Alpha that we elevated once we came
- 4:42Speaker 4: in office. It's with the Department of Justice and the FBI,
- 4:45Speaker 4: and we work hand in hand with Homeland Security. Christinome
- 4:48Speaker 4: is awesome. We all worked so well together. Joint Task
- 4:51Speaker 4: Force Alpha just made a huge arrest in Warres Texas, Warres, Mexico.
- 4:56Speaker 4: They were headed to Texas to El Paso and smuggling. Yeah.
- 5:02Speaker 1: Huge. That's why we do what we do every day.
- 5:07Speaker 4: That's why these agents risk their lives every single day.
- 5:12Speaker 4: It's humans smuggling and a lot of children, a lot
- 5:16Speaker 4: of children they're saying are safer because of this.
- 5:19Speaker 2: Let me ask you a question, President Trump, and this
- 5:21Speaker 2: has made headlines on what you're just talking about. We've
- 5:24Speaker 2: designated these cartels as terrorist organizations. What does that allow
- 5:28Speaker 2: you to do in your job? And Cash Fortael now
- 5:32Speaker 2: is the head of the FBI. What is that going
- 5:34Speaker 2: to give you the ability to do and to go
- 5:35Speaker 2: after them?
- 5:36Speaker 4: Well, Stephen Miller is doing a great job ahead as
- 5:40Speaker 4: we are right leading this effort with all of us.
- 5:45Speaker 4: Mike Waltz at d D. We all work so keet Hagseth.
- 5:49Speaker 4: We all work so well together, and it gives us
- 5:53Speaker 4: the ability.
- 5:54Speaker 1: It gives they are a terrorist group.
- 5:56Speaker 4: And it gives us the ability to go after them
- 5:59Speaker 4: more ability anywhere in the world and treat them as terrorists.
- 6:03Speaker 1: They are terrorists.
- 6:04Speaker 4: If you're bringing Fittanel into this country and killing our kids,
- 6:08Speaker 4: you're a terrorist and we're coming after you.
- 6:12Speaker 2: Three hundred a day is the average that are dying
- 6:14Speaker 2: in this country right now. When you took this job
- 6:17Speaker 2: and you hear that number and you saw the inaction
- 6:19Speaker 2: from the last administration, how angry did that make you
- 6:23Speaker 2: so angry?
- 6:23Speaker 4: You know, I was State ag before I became the
- 6:26Speaker 4: United States Attorney General, and Fittanahl was really just coming
- 6:30Speaker 4: on the market and now with this horrible open border
- 6:35Speaker 4: policy just flowing flowing across our borders and killing kids,
- 6:41Speaker 4: killing adults every single day, and it's criminal that no
- 6:45Speaker 4: one was doing anything to stop it. I can't comprehend
- 6:49Speaker 4: how any administration, progressive nor conservative, how any administration.
- 6:54Speaker 1: Could tolerate that and let that happen.
- 6:56Speaker 4: And it ended day one with Donald Trump when he
- 6:59Speaker 4: shut that board. I was at the border back in September.
- 7:02Speaker 4: I went with Lara Trump and Morgan Ortegas Yep and
- 7:06Speaker 4: we were in Yuma, Arizona, and I saw firsthand there
- 7:10Speaker 4: is nothing humanitarian that was happening.
- 7:12Speaker 1: At that border, nothing nothing.
- 7:15Speaker 4: They have a rape tree where they're raping women as
- 7:18Speaker 4: they're coming into this country. I saw firsthand piles and
- 7:23Speaker 4: piles of passports just thrown from every country you can imagine,
- 7:27Speaker 4: because the Biden administration was letting you walk right in
- 7:30Speaker 4: the country if you didn't have a passport. They said
- 7:33Speaker 4: they saw Asian Chinese individuals saying, oh, we're from Cuba,
- 7:36Speaker 4: so they wrote down there from Cuba and had to
- 7:39Speaker 4: let them legally walk right in under that administration. But
- 7:42Speaker 4: the drugs, the trafficking, I learned a new term disposable child.
- 7:47Speaker 1: The customs, the border.
- 7:49Speaker 4: The border patrol agents told me that they saw a
- 7:52Speaker 4: little boy and they kept recognizing the same little boy
- 7:56Speaker 4: over and over and over coming in. Because if you
- 7:59Speaker 4: came in, our country is a family unit, they just
- 8:02Speaker 4: let you walk right in. What the littlechild was being trafficked, Yes,
- 8:05Speaker 4: now how they were getting him back to Mexico is
- 8:07Speaker 4: beyond me, but they were bringing him time and time again.
- 8:11Speaker 4: He wasn't their family, So who knows what happened to
- 8:14Speaker 4: his parents?
- 8:15Speaker 3: Well, and I will say a number of people in
- 8:17Speaker 3: the room gasped at a term you use, which unfortunately
- 8:21Speaker 3: is a real term, rape tree. And it's something that
- 8:25Speaker 3: we're seeing. We've been seeing for the last four years
- 8:28Speaker 3: in Texas. We've seen it in Arizona that the cartels
- 8:31Speaker 3: will go and violently rape women. They'll violently rape teenage girls,
- 8:37Speaker 3: young girls, and then they will hang their underwear in
- 8:40Speaker 3: the tree. And you'll find a tree down on the
- 8:43Speaker 3: southern border with ten twenty pairs of underwear as their
- 8:47Speaker 3: mocking law enforcement, saying we can do whatever we want.
- 8:51Speaker 3: And for four years, the Biden Justice Department they just
- 8:55Speaker 3: turned a blind eye and they facilitated it. You know,
- 8:58Speaker 3: you talked about the kids. So they have a policy
- 9:01Speaker 3: if you arrive with a kid, it's essentially a get
- 9:03Speaker 3: out of jail free card. And so you started seeing
- 9:06Speaker 3: a phenomenon that we've never seen an immigration before, which
- 9:10Speaker 3: is single young men showing up with little kids. Now
- 9:14Speaker 3: that's not a normal pattern of migration, but we started
- 9:17Speaker 3: seeing military age men showing up with little boys and
- 9:22Speaker 3: little girls, many of whom are physically and sexually assaulted
- 9:26Speaker 3: in transit, and the same kid the cartels would recycle
- 9:29Speaker 3: over and over and over again to bring in gang members,
- 9:33Speaker 3: to bring in criminals. Now, let me ask this, what
- 9:39Speaker 3: is most effective stopping the invasion at the southern board the.
- 9:45Speaker 4: Border closing our borders, which is what we've done. Donald
- 9:48Speaker 4: Trump has closed our border. But now, of course we
- 9:51Speaker 4: all know we have so many of these illegal aliens,
- 9:56Speaker 4: fighting age men ages thirteenth, eighteen to thirty five in
- 9:59Speaker 4: our walking around our country.
- 10:02Speaker 3: And President, how concerned are you right now about the
- 10:08Speaker 3: twelve million illegal aliens who came in under Joe Biden?
- 10:12Speaker 3: And about the risk of terrorism of Hamas of hesbela
- 10:16Speaker 3: Palestinian Islamic jihad, the risk of terrorism targeting Americans across
- 10:21Speaker 3: this country.
- 10:22Speaker 4: It's it's it's a huge risk and we all we
- 10:25Speaker 4: all know how bad it is now. And that's what
- 10:29Speaker 4: Donald Trump is committed to do, is to take these
- 10:32Speaker 4: people out of our country, to prosecute them, to deport them,
- 10:36Speaker 4: to get them off our streets. And that's what all
- 10:40Speaker 4: of these law enforcement agencies are doing.
- 10:43Speaker 1: You know Lake and.
- 10:44Speaker 4: Riley, of course, that beautiful young woman, University of Georgia.
- 10:47Speaker 4: Lake and Riley is probably the most prominent name. But
- 10:51Speaker 4: look how many Lake and Riley's are out there.
- 10:55Speaker 1: One victim is too.
- 10:56Speaker 3: Many, Jocelyne, Right, I mean the numbers every day. And
- 11:05Speaker 3: I got to say so already in the first two weeks,
- 11:08Speaker 3: you sued New York, you sued Chicago.
- 11:12Speaker 1: You can clap for that.
- 11:13Speaker 3: These sanctuary city that are fighting, and I've got to
- 11:17Speaker 3: say Massachusetts in particular action. Our last podcast we talked
- 11:23Speaker 3: about this. Yeah, how Massachusetts continues to this day to
- 11:27Speaker 3: have violent child rapist illegal immigrants who they release on
- 11:33Speaker 3: the streets and they refuse to notify Ice. They refuse.
- 11:36Speaker 3: These are illegal immigrants who could be deported immediately. And
- 11:39Speaker 3: the Massachusetts officials take criminals who violently rape little kids.
- 11:45Speaker 3: Let me ask you, what is your message to a mayor,
- 11:51Speaker 3: to a local official who wants to defy federal immigration law.
- 11:56Speaker 1: Well, our message is very clear.
- 11:58Speaker 4: I sued Illinois first Chicago, first day, first day, and
- 12:03Speaker 4: I gave a very strong warning. If you don't comply
- 12:06Speaker 4: with the law, you're next. And guess who didn't listen
- 12:09Speaker 4: New York Kathy Hochel got sued.
- 12:13Speaker 1: They all got sued in New York.
- 12:15Speaker 4: And if you don't follow the law, you're going to
- 12:17Speaker 4: be next, because we are going to get violent criminals
- 12:21Speaker 4: off our strip.
- 12:21Speaker 1: And you know, Senator, it's more than that.
- 12:23Speaker 4: They're endangering the lives of our great men and women
- 12:27Speaker 4: in law enforcement.
- 12:28Speaker 1: That's what people don't understand.
- 12:29Speaker 4: When you're hiding illegal aliens from law enforcement, you're endangering
- 12:34Speaker 4: their lives.
- 12:35Speaker 1: It's gonna stop.
- 12:37Speaker 3: So let me ask you. Two weeks into it, you've
- 12:40Speaker 3: been at do OJ. What's your assessment. Is it as
- 12:44Speaker 3: bad as you thought it would be? Is it better?
- 12:47Speaker 3: Is it worse?
- 12:48Speaker 1: It's worse, of course, it's now worse.
- 12:51Speaker 3: Here to chaos.
- 12:53Speaker 4: Worse meaning yeah, that that department had completely lost its
- 12:59Speaker 4: mission of fighting violent crime. I look what they did
- 13:02Speaker 4: to President Trump look at the weaponization and weaponization ended,
- 13:06Speaker 4: and the.
- 13:08Speaker 1: Deep state is very real.
- 13:09Speaker 4: I think all of you in this room know that
- 13:12Speaker 4: it's very real, and people trying to undermine everything you're doing.
- 13:18Speaker 4: You know, three weeks into it, I went in one
- 13:20Speaker 4: department and found huge twenty by twenty glosses of Joe Biden,
- 13:25Speaker 4: Merrick Garland, and Kamala Harris still hanging up in my office.
- 13:29Speaker 4: They're gone, they're gone, They're gone. And guess guess what's
- 13:34Speaker 4: replacing it? A very handsome photo of a man, Donald.
- 13:39Speaker 2: Trump, not the one in the hallway, right that that picture,
- 13:44Speaker 2: that one that way.
- 13:45Speaker 3: Okay, I like that.
- 13:46Speaker 4: One that replacing, But but I make light of that.
- 13:50Speaker 4: But that's what's happening. You know, he had been in
- 13:52Speaker 4: office three weeks and the deep state still had those
- 13:56Speaker 4: pictures hanging. And that's to me, that's defiant. It's in
- 13:58Speaker 4: suborn nation, not going to happen. But you know what
- 14:02Speaker 4: we said, most people, the majority of the people, are
- 14:05Speaker 4: great people who went to law school, became prosecutors, became
- 14:09Speaker 4: law enforcement agents to fight crime.
- 14:11Speaker 3: You've spent your professional life as a prosecutor career, how
- 14:15Speaker 3: important is it to you to go after bad guys
- 14:18Speaker 3: and to get bad guys off the street and keep
- 14:20Speaker 3: people safe.
- 14:21Speaker 1: It means everything.
- 14:22Speaker 4: And that the drug epidemic, you know, the fentanyl just
- 14:25Speaker 4: flowing into our country now, the terrorists, the gangs, TDA
- 14:29Speaker 4: trans DIEGUIS, MS thirteen, all of the gangs for now,
- 14:35Speaker 4: terrorist organizations. We've got to stop them. And that's that's
- 14:39Speaker 4: why we do what we do, and it's all we
- 14:42Speaker 4: all have to work together. And working with Homeland Security
- 14:45Speaker 4: has been great.
- 14:45Speaker 3: So one of the most shocking statistics from the prior
- 14:48Speaker 3: administration is the number three hundred thousand, three hundred sap
- 14:53Speaker 3: thousand children that the prior administration had in custody and
- 14:57Speaker 3: that they lost that they do not know where they are.
- 15:00Speaker 3: We know that many of those children are being abused
- 15:02Speaker 3: right now. Tell me about the efforts you and Homeland
- 15:05Speaker 3: Security and the Trump administration, the efforts you are doing
- 15:08Speaker 3: to find those children and to get them out of
- 15:10Speaker 3: harm's way.
- 15:11Speaker 4: That's top priority, and that's Donald Trump's top priority, to
- 15:16Speaker 4: find these victims and to save them. And that's what
- 15:19Speaker 4: I don't I can't, I truly can't comprehend how any
- 15:22Speaker 4: administration would let that happen and not care and that's
- 15:27Speaker 4: what we're all fighting for. And you know, you say,
- 15:30Speaker 4: when you take a job with this incredible volume, you think.
- 15:34Speaker 1: How do you do it? How do you focus every day?
- 15:38Speaker 4: And you do it by saying, if I can save
- 15:40Speaker 4: one life, yeah it's worth it.
- 15:42Speaker 3: Well it's a lot more than one.
- 15:44Speaker 4: It is.
- 15:45Speaker 1: That's how you start one life.
- 15:47Speaker 3: And it is thousands and ultimately more. So I want
- 15:51Speaker 3: to say something to the folks here at Seapac, which is,
- 15:55Speaker 3: as many of y'all know, Ben and I do this
- 15:57Speaker 3: podcast Verdict with Ted Cruz. We do it three days
- 15:59Speaker 3: a week week. We do it Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
- 16:02Speaker 3: We've got roughly a million unique listeners all over the
- 16:05Speaker 3: country and we do this to go around the corporate media,
- 16:10Speaker 3: to go directly to the American people and to bring
- 16:14Speaker 3: the truth and bring the fact. So I want to
- 16:16Speaker 3: ask everyone here. Many of y'all already subscribe to the pod,
- 16:19Speaker 3: but I want to ask everyone here to pull out
- 16:21Speaker 3: your cell phone right now, pull out your cell phone
- 16:25Speaker 3: and text the word verdict v er Dict. Text the
- 16:31Speaker 3: word Verdict to two four zero zero five again, two
- 16:37Speaker 3: four zero zero five. When you text Verdict to two
- 16:42Speaker 3: four zero zero five. What you'll get back is a link,
- 16:46Speaker 3: a link to subscribe to the podcast. Now, if you're
- 16:49Speaker 3: under forty, you know what I'm talking about. And if
- 16:53Speaker 3: you're not, ask their kids or ask your grandkids. Although
- 16:56Speaker 3: I'll say if you're at c Pack, you're pretty hip
- 16:58Speaker 3: and connected, so you may know as well if you're
- 17:00Speaker 3: here at Seapack. But every mind, subscribe doesn't mean a costume.
- 17:04Speaker 3: Mind to quote your dad, Oh, my father points out
- 17:06Speaker 3: that my dad is eighty five, and he said when
- 17:08Speaker 3: he hears subscribe, he thinks it's a magazine subscription. There's
- 17:11Speaker 3: no charge. It just magically appears in your phone early
- 17:15Speaker 3: in the morning on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and we
- 17:18Speaker 3: bring in guests like the Attorney General of the United States,
- 17:21Speaker 3: and we focus on what is happening, the victories that
- 17:25Speaker 3: President Trump is winning, and the news that the corporate
- 17:29Speaker 3: media won't cover. I want to ask you two four
- 17:33Speaker 3: zero zero five.
- 17:35Speaker 1: I want to ask you a question.
- 17:36Speaker 2: It's one that I've been dying to ask you, and
- 17:38Speaker 2: it deals with all of the pardons that were given
- 17:41Speaker 2: out from Joe Biden at the end. There were a
- 17:45Speaker 2: lot that went to his family. It is what it
- 17:48Speaker 2: is there's one person he did not pardon. That would
- 17:50Speaker 2: be himself. There are a lot of people who think
- 17:53Speaker 2: there should be accountability. Should this be something that is
- 17:56Speaker 2: looked at to see what he did while he was president.
- 18:02Speaker 4: Don't you find it very interesting though, that they attempted
- 18:06Speaker 4: to prosecute the president for having documents in the most
- 18:09Speaker 4: secure place in the world other than the White House,
- 18:12Speaker 4: Mara Laga, and he had the security clearance to take them.
- 18:15Speaker 4: Yet Joe Biden, who had no security clearance to take
- 18:19Speaker 4: them at the time, had them in his garage with
- 18:21Speaker 4: his drug addict son going in and out.
- 18:24Speaker 1: Of his garage. Yet what did they say about him
- 18:27Speaker 1: too old to prosecute? Frail frail old man.
- 18:31Speaker 4: But listen, Donald Trump and I have not talked about
- 18:35Speaker 4: that at all. This is not about targeting. This is
- 18:38Speaker 4: what they do to us. This is not about targeting.
- 18:41Speaker 4: This is not about weaponization. This is about keeping America
- 18:45Speaker 4: safe and going forward and prosecuting violent criminals. If you
- 18:49Speaker 4: committed a crime in this country, no one is above
- 18:53Speaker 4: the law. I will say that no one is above
- 18:55Speaker 4: the law.
- 18:58Speaker 3: So Pam, the media are going crazy about New York
- 19:03Speaker 3: Mayor Eric Adams and the charges that were dismissed against him.
- 19:06Speaker 1: So glad you brought it up.
- 19:08Speaker 3: Tell us what the story is, what happened there and
- 19:11Speaker 3: why were the charges dismissed?
- 19:13Speaker 4: Sure, and Amol, who has done an incredible job he
- 19:17Speaker 4: worked on this case.
- 19:18Speaker 1: He looked at this case.
- 19:19Speaker 4: It was an incredibly weak case filed to make deportation harder.
- 19:27Speaker 1: That's why they did it.
- 19:28Speaker 4: They took one of the biggest mayors in the country
- 19:31Speaker 4: off the playing field in order to protect their sanctuary city.
- 19:38Speaker 4: This case, it was so incredibly weak. It was about
- 19:41Speaker 4: increases in airline tickets, upgrades and airline tickets in his
- 19:45Speaker 4: official capacity without getting into all the details of the fact.
- 19:49Speaker 4: I don't even think it could survive a verdict.
- 19:51Speaker 1: Excuse me. Incredibly weak case. That is the weaponization of government.
- 19:57Speaker 4: That's law fair filing, that's law fair when you're filing
- 20:00Speaker 4: cases like that to keep someone who criticized Joe Biden,
- 20:04Speaker 4: who said they took away his security clearance so he
- 20:08Speaker 4: could not get the details, so he could not help
- 20:11Speaker 4: enforce the.
- 20:12Speaker 1: Deportation efforts in New York.
- 20:14Speaker 4: And you know these people are going after him right
- 20:17Speaker 4: a subway in New York.
- 20:19Speaker 1: It's not safe.
- 20:20Speaker 4: Violent crime is at an all time high, and that's
- 20:23Speaker 4: what they're doing.
- 20:25Speaker 1: So it's not about weaponization.
- 20:26Speaker 4: It's about ending their weaponization of the government and fighting
- 20:30Speaker 4: violent crime and enabling cities like New York and mayors
- 20:35Speaker 4: like Eric Adams to enforce Donald Trump's immigration policies.
- 20:44Speaker 2: I want to ask you and go back saying you
- 20:46Speaker 2: said a moment ago we were talking about cartels, and
- 20:49Speaker 2: they have been able to set up networks, and we
- 20:51Speaker 2: see this coming up now more often. We're the controlling
- 20:55Speaker 2: states and cities and states and the entire flow, and
- 20:58Speaker 2: they've been able to do this and set it up
- 21:00Speaker 2: without having to worry that anyone's going to stop them.
- 21:02Speaker 2: We're seeing this not on border states, but all over
- 21:06Speaker 2: the country, this network. At what point do we get
- 21:09Speaker 2: to start dismantling that. How long does that take? How
- 21:13Speaker 2: much time is that going to take because they've been
- 21:15Speaker 2: here for quite some time with the last administration.
- 21:17Speaker 4: Yeah, there's a lot I can't talk about now, but
- 21:21Speaker 4: very publicly, I think you've seen a lot happen.
- 21:24Speaker 1: A lot is happening every day.
- 21:27Speaker 4: Our great men and women in law enforcement are out there.
- 21:29Speaker 4: It's a joint effort with our office and with Christy.
- 21:31Speaker 1: Nome and again, we all.
- 21:33Speaker 4: Work so well together, whether it's Mike Waltz.
- 21:38Speaker 3: No are friends.
- 21:39Speaker 2: I think people don't understand this, like this is a
- 21:40Speaker 2: group in this administration. And you and I have talked
- 21:43Speaker 2: about this on the show. You guys are friends, like you'
- 21:46Speaker 2: all know each other before you got here. How important
- 21:49Speaker 2: are those relationships that you say, hey, I trust excuse me,
- 21:52Speaker 2: I trust you, I trust you, I trust you.
- 21:54Speaker 3: I got your back.
- 21:55Speaker 1: Let's go to.
- 21:56Speaker 4: Work vital and crucial and Mike Walt's and Christy we're
- 21:59Speaker 4: on the phone with each other all the time. And
- 22:02Speaker 4: to change the topic just a little bit, just just
- 22:04Speaker 4: to give you an example, Leez Eldon a dear friend
- 22:06Speaker 4: of mine.
- 22:07Speaker 1: On President's Day.
- 22:10Speaker 4: EPA, Lee's Eldon, great administrative of EPA. I'm on the
- 22:13Speaker 4: phone hours with Scott Bessen, our Secretary of Treasury and
- 22:17Speaker 4: Leez Elden. And you know we've seen thanks to Elon Musk,
- 22:20Speaker 4: my buddy's great work, and it's been reported.
- 22:24Speaker 1: Look what they're doing.
- 22:24Speaker 4: And yeah, I'm changing the subject a little bit, but
- 22:27Speaker 4: they're giving out billions of dollars after Joe Biden lost
- 22:33Speaker 4: the election, trying to push this money out the door.
- 22:36Speaker 3: As surely shoveling cash out the windows.
- 22:39Speaker 4: As I said, gold bars, Let's throw all the gold
- 22:42Speaker 4: bars off the ship. Ye, And we're stopping them. We're
- 22:45Speaker 4: stopping them in real time. We're going after them. But
- 22:49Speaker 4: it's because we all pick up the phone and we
- 22:51Speaker 4: talked directly to each other, so we're able to work together.
- 22:55Speaker 1: Talk to Marco Rubio.
- 22:56Speaker 4: And look at them in like Steve Whitcoff out there,
- 23:00Speaker 4: what they're doing, working with Marco and Mike Watson, all
- 23:04Speaker 4: the great the people that they're saving around the world.
- 23:07Speaker 4: And that's thanks to one man, Donald Trump. He put
- 23:10Speaker 4: all of us in these positions.
- 23:11Speaker 3: Well, and in the consistent nine spread of the cabinet
- 23:16Speaker 3: nominees is that you're all change agents. You all came
- 23:21Speaker 3: in with the mission and it is Listen, there has
- 23:24Speaker 3: never been a first month of any presidency in the
- 23:26Speaker 3: history of the United States of America like the last
- 23:30Speaker 3: thirty days.
- 23:34Speaker 1: Amen.
- 23:35Speaker 3: And I'll tell you I have had great joy turning
- 23:39Speaker 3: to my Democrat colleagues in the Senate and just dead
- 23:42Speaker 3: patting well three years and eleven months ago, and they
- 23:48Speaker 3: literally start twitching like you get. They have facial tics
- 23:53Speaker 3: that they cannot suppress. Yeah, but all right, Pam. One
- 23:57Speaker 3: of the things that people like about this podcast that
- 24:00Speaker 3: we try to do is we try to bring people
- 24:03Speaker 3: behind the scenes to actually understand what's going on behind
- 24:07Speaker 3: closed doors. So tell us about your first day as
- 24:12Speaker 3: attorney general. You're confirmed and like day one when you
- 24:16Speaker 3: get sworn in, just just walk everyone through what day
- 24:19Speaker 3: one of being Attorney General in the United States is, like, you.
- 24:24Speaker 4: Go NonStop And I jokingly said it felt like fifteen
- 24:27Speaker 4: years because you're working seven days a week NonStop. You're
- 24:31Speaker 4: when we're all working with each other, and everything we
- 24:34Speaker 4: do it overlaps, and especially with Department of Justice, especially too,
- 24:38Speaker 4: with all this money going out in the USA and
- 24:40Speaker 4: all of these agencies and we're going to be helping
- 24:42Speaker 4: all these agencies.
- 24:43Speaker 1: But you just hit the.
- 24:45Speaker 4: Ground running, literally and don't look back.
- 24:50Speaker 1: I don't look at what time of day it is.
- 24:52Speaker 4: It's I don't think I've slept in fifteen days, but
- 24:55Speaker 4: you don't want to.
- 24:55Speaker 1: And then when you find.
- 24:57Speaker 4: Out about this human trafficking that was just broken up,
- 25:01Speaker 4: it's just that's why we're all doing what we're doing,
- 25:05Speaker 4: and you just keep going forward and our directive, our
- 25:09Speaker 4: directive from our boss is so easy, especially on my end,
- 25:14Speaker 4: make America safe.
- 25:16Speaker 1: And so you just don't, Senator, you.
- 25:19Speaker 4: Don't even big My heart is saying us, I forget
- 25:21Speaker 4: to eat. You forget what time it is, and at
- 25:24Speaker 4: six o'clock at night, And why do I have a
- 25:25Speaker 4: headache because I haven't eaten today? But you're going non
- 25:28Speaker 4: stop and it's not me. It's an entire team. I've
- 25:31Speaker 4: got Chad myself, I've got Animal, I've got Todd Blanche,
- 25:34Speaker 4: thank goodness coming in. And we've got cash for telling now,
- 25:37Speaker 4: so they better look out.
- 25:40Speaker 2: How nice is it to have a boss by the
- 25:44Speaker 2: guy and guy by the name of Donald J.
- 25:45Speaker 1: Trump who just lets you do your job exactly.
- 25:48Speaker 2: I mean, there's a lot of presents in the past
- 25:51Speaker 2: that have really tried to keep their thumb on people.
- 25:53Speaker 2: It seems like he's saying, go and go, get it done,
- 25:57Speaker 2: and call me when you need me.
- 25:59Speaker 4: He is trusted all of us and all of our
- 26:02Speaker 4: various capacities and all the different roles we have, whether
- 26:05Speaker 4: it's education or agriculture, you know, all the cabinet labor,
- 26:10Speaker 4: all of the different cabinet secretaries, just to go out
- 26:13Speaker 4: and do the best we can, and you know, we
- 26:17Speaker 4: want to make all of you proud, and we want
- 26:20Speaker 4: to fulfill his directive to make our country great.
- 26:23Speaker 1: That may ensured it in me that job.
- 26:25Speaker 4: He's a good friend of mine and I love during
- 26:27Speaker 4: my confirmation hearing when they try they get on me
- 26:30Speaker 4: because they say I'm friends with Donald Trump. Yes, no,
- 26:33Speaker 4: I'm not friends with them. I'm good friends with him,
- 26:35Speaker 4: and I'm very proud to work for him.
- 26:43Speaker 3: You know, when you look at weaponization and politicization, part
- 26:47Speaker 3: of it is using it to attack your political opponents,
- 26:49Speaker 3: and we've seen four years of that under Joe Biden.
- 26:53Speaker 3: Another part of it is turning the other way at
- 26:56Speaker 3: your political allies and refusing to enforce the law against them.
- 27:00Speaker 3: And I think one of the most egregious examples we've
- 27:03Speaker 3: seen over the last two years is the rising anti
- 27:06Speaker 3: Semitism on college campus. I mean the violent protesters and rioters,
- 27:12Speaker 3: many of whom are not students, are not affiliated with
- 27:15Speaker 3: the universities, and they are threatening students. You look at
- 27:18Speaker 3: Columbia University. The Orthodox rabbi there sent out an email
- 27:22Speaker 3: to the Jewish students on campus and said do not
- 27:26Speaker 3: come to campus because the university cannot and will not
- 27:31Speaker 3: keep you safe. And the Biden Justice Department did nothing.
- 27:36Speaker 3: They investigated nobody, they didn't follow the money, they didn't
- 27:40Speaker 3: indict anyone, they didn't prosecute anyone, and they did not
- 27:44Speaker 3: enforce Title six of the Civil Rights Laws, which say
- 27:48Speaker 3: that if you are tolerating harassment on the basis of
- 27:52Speaker 3: ethnicity or religion, that you will have your federal funds
- 27:55Speaker 3: cut off. How is the Department of Justice different today
- 28:01Speaker 3: and and what what will your approach be to anti
- 28:05Speaker 3: Semitism and threats of violence directed against Jewish students on
- 28:08Speaker 3: campus or any other students on campus.
- 28:11Speaker 4: We have an October seventh task force that we started,
- 28:14Speaker 4: and we will protect you. When I was just a
- 28:17Speaker 4: citizen before I had this job, what you said, I'm
- 28:20Speaker 4: watching these these aren't peaceful protests.
- 28:22Speaker 1: We all believe in peaceful protests. Uh oh, I'm sorry.
- 28:26Speaker 4: Unless you're a liberal and you don't want a parent
- 28:29Speaker 4: to quietly pray outside an abortion clinic, or you're a
- 28:33Speaker 4: Cauntholic or a parent at a school board, they're going
- 28:36Speaker 4: to call you a domestic urist. I'm screaming up my
- 28:40Speaker 4: TV watching these violent protests. You know, the last since
- 28:44Speaker 4: October seventh. You're watching this happen, and all of our
- 28:48Speaker 4: students deserve.
- 28:49Speaker 1: To be safe. First of all, these these.
- 28:51Speaker 4: Students from who are here on visas, who are who
- 28:54Speaker 4: are threatening our American students need to be kicked out
- 28:57Speaker 4: of this country.
- 28:58Speaker 3: Amen. It is refreshingly simple to have an attorney general
- 29:16Speaker 3: who has the approach that you're going to follow the
- 29:19Speaker 3: law and enforce the law, and that sadly has been
- 29:23Speaker 3: missing for the last four years.
- 29:27Speaker 4: It's pretty basic, isn't it.
- 29:30Speaker 3: It should not be complicated. Let me ask you what
- 29:36Speaker 3: keeps you up at night? What scares you in the
- 29:39Speaker 3: first two weeks in this job.
- 29:42Speaker 4: Pretty much everything. I don't sleep at night anymore. Of course,
- 29:47Speaker 4: everything we talked about, the drugs, the cartels, the great
- 29:51Speaker 4: Maybe I'll get a little sleep tonight based on the
- 29:53Speaker 4: arrest that we're just made, the children that are being trafficked,
- 29:57Speaker 4: things that have been so personal to me since I
- 29:59Speaker 4: was a state prospers here and then since I was
- 30:00Speaker 4: state attorney general.
- 30:02Speaker 1: Now you just get to help people on a.
- 30:03Speaker 4: Bigger level, which is pretty pretty cool to get to
- 30:06Speaker 4: do that. But most recently it's really been what Elon
- 30:12Speaker 4: has been uncovering and the USA the waste at EPA,
- 30:19Speaker 4: this money, trillions of dollars they believe just being handed out,
- 30:25Speaker 4: which is most likely making a round trip.
- 30:29Speaker 1: Going to terrorist organizations.
- 30:30Speaker 3: And you are on the front line of defending the
- 30:32Speaker 3: president and Elon Musk and Doze and all the effort
- 30:36Speaker 3: they're doing. And every day we are seeing Democrat attorneys
- 30:40Speaker 3: general and Democrat interest groups suing the president, suing Elon Musk,
- 30:45Speaker 3: suing the federal government and the Department of Justices on
- 30:48Speaker 3: the front lines, And sadly, we're seeing left wing activist judges,
- 30:53Speaker 3: individual district court judges issuing nationwide injunctions. Yeah, tell us
- 31:00Speaker 3: about what it's like defending against those lawsuits, and give
- 31:04Speaker 3: us your thoughts on the authority of one radical district
- 31:08Speaker 3: judge to try to run the executive branch and issue
- 31:11Speaker 3: a nationwide in junction.
- 31:12Speaker 1: Two words, we're winning. But yeah, so you've got one.
- 31:18Speaker 5: I like that answer, one unelected district judge trying to
- 31:22Speaker 5: tell President Trump, who was elected overwhelmingly by the American people,
- 31:28Speaker 5: where federal funds can go.
- 31:31Speaker 4: We're winning even in liberal courts. By the way, I'm senator,
- 31:35Speaker 4: We're winning. And if not We're going to go all
- 31:38Speaker 4: the way to the Supreme Court.
- 31:40Speaker 1: And keep winning.
- 31:42Speaker 3: Well, Pam, let me say you and I have been
- 31:44Speaker 3: friends a long time time. I am thrilled with the
- 31:47Speaker 3: job you're doing. I'm thrilled. I was thrilled when the
- 31:49Speaker 3: President announced your nomination. And let me say, on behalf
- 31:53Speaker 3: of thirty one million Texans and Americans across this country,
- 31:58Speaker 3: thank you. Thank you for stepping forward and answering the call.
- 32:03Speaker 3: Thank you for pouring your heart into defending this nation,
- 32:10Speaker 3: into keeping my kids safe, keeping Ben's kids safe, keeping
- 32:14Speaker 3: all of our kids safe. And thank you for remaining
- 32:17Speaker 3: faithful to the Constitution and the Bill of Rights and
- 32:20Speaker 3: restoring integrity to the Department of Justice. It is desperately
- 32:24Speaker 3: needed and you're doing a hell of a job.
- 32:25Speaker 1: Thank you, my friend, and thank you for fighting flor Us.
- 32:28Speaker 1: Thank you guys here for being here as well.
- 32:31Speaker 3: Don't forget we do this show Monday, Wednesday and Fridays,
- 32:34Speaker 3: so make sure that subscribe writ her down with a button.
- 32:37Speaker 2: God bless America.
- 32:40Speaker 1: Well, thank you, my friend. Thank you
