- 0:12Speaker 2: don't given a black all bu bus things Steve listening to.
- 0:28Speaker 3: To I don't joy, Yeah, Joy, you gotta.
- 1:01Speaker 2: Turn love you.
- 1:25Speaker 3: Turn came.
- 1:41Speaker 4: To turn the mouth the turn.
- 1:43Speaker 3: You probably got to turn the mouth, turn out, turn
- 1:46Speaker 3: the water of the.
- 1:47Speaker 2: Money up looking. Come come on you think that?
- 2:01Speaker 5: Uh huh, I sure will. Good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 6: You all listening to the voice, come on dig me now,
- 2:09Speaker 6: One and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Man,
- 2:12Speaker 6: old man, Oh Man symbolizes just one thing to me. Man,
- 2:16Speaker 6: It's just a constant remind of exactly how good God has.
- 2:19Speaker 5: Been to me over the years. And I'm thank him
- 2:22Speaker 5: for it too, because I.
- 2:23Speaker 6: Realize every day that I wake up that I would
- 2:26Speaker 6: be nothing without him. That everything I am, that's any
- 2:30Speaker 6: good in me I owe to him.
- 2:32Speaker 7: Now.
- 2:32Speaker 6: Have I made some mistakes along the way? Yep, bunches,
- 2:37Speaker 6: bunches and bunches. And will I continue to make mistakes
- 2:41Speaker 6: along the way?
- 2:43Speaker 5: Yep?
- 2:44Speaker 6: Not as many, hopefully as I have in the past,
- 2:48Speaker 6: because a lot of stuff I know better now. But
- 2:51Speaker 6: you're still going to make mistakes now. You know, hopefully
- 2:56Speaker 6: I've limited the amount of intentional in my life. I've
- 3:01Speaker 6: wiped quite a few of those out. But from time
- 3:04Speaker 6: to time, because we're human, we're going to make a
- 3:08Speaker 6: mistake every now and then. The trick, what it is, y'all,
- 3:11Speaker 6: is not to let the devil deceive you into thinking
- 3:14Speaker 6: that once you make that mistake that that's it. You
- 3:16Speaker 6: can't do it. You're falling off the wagon. You can't
- 3:20Speaker 6: reboard it. That's the biggest trick that he uses. He
- 3:24Speaker 6: makes you think that if you keep stumbling, that you
- 3:29Speaker 6: can't run the race. It kind of reminds me of
- 3:34Speaker 6: a marathon runner. From time to time, I watch them
- 3:37Speaker 6: on TV, and you'll see some people who finish the race,
- 3:43Speaker 6: you know, in a nice pace. You see people finish
- 3:48Speaker 6: the race sprinting towards the finished line. But every now
- 3:52Speaker 6: and then you'll watch a marathon and you'll see a
- 3:56Speaker 6: runner and the runner is in really bad shape. The
- 4:02Speaker 6: key is they finish the race. See, you don't get
- 4:09Speaker 6: disqualified in the marathon because you stumble.
- 4:13Speaker 5: You don't.
- 4:14Speaker 8: They don't.
- 4:14Speaker 6: They don't take your opportunity to finish the race because
- 4:19Speaker 6: you keep falling.
- 4:21Speaker 5: That's not the key. The key is finishing.
- 4:25Speaker 6: And a lot of times what the devil does is
- 4:27Speaker 6: he makes you think that because you keep stumbling, because
- 4:31Speaker 6: you're swaying from side to side, that you know you
- 4:35Speaker 6: out the race. Well that's not the case. And see
- 4:39Speaker 6: and then this thing called life. Let me help you
- 4:41Speaker 6: understand something. Everybody falls, Nobody sprints to the tape in
- 4:45Speaker 6: this one. Nobody just runs free and clear that as
- 4:49Speaker 6: some people running faster than you, and all like this,
- 4:52Speaker 6: and some people gonna get to the end before you
- 4:54Speaker 6: let them go ahead. And when the end come, the
- 4:57Speaker 6: end come. I ain't in the rush. You get to
- 4:58Speaker 6: the end. But but in this race, though, when you're
- 5:02Speaker 6: stumbling and you're falling, it's a part of it. No
- 5:05Speaker 6: one gets through this race without stumbling and falling, swaying
- 5:09Speaker 6: from side to side. So don't let the enemy deceive
- 5:13Speaker 6: you in the thinking that it's over. I try to
- 5:18Speaker 6: be encouraging to people because I don't want people to
- 5:22Speaker 6: get stuck on this thing, you know. And my walk
- 5:24Speaker 6: is very different from a lot of people's walks. And
- 5:27Speaker 6: then I know a lot of people who walking in
- 5:29Speaker 6: faith the way I'm walking in faith. But my thing
- 5:32Speaker 6: in the morning is just to remind those that is
- 5:35Speaker 6: not a perfect walk man, that it's not something that's
- 5:39Speaker 6: set up where you're gonna be skipping through life scott
- 5:43Speaker 6: free without any pitfalls. You know, I keep saying it
- 5:46Speaker 6: over and over and over again because, like I said,
- 5:48Speaker 6: when I was in DC, my boy Hondo said this
- 5:52Speaker 6: to me and it just kind of stuck with me
- 5:54Speaker 6: that the road to construct, the road to success is
- 5:57Speaker 6: always under construction. You have to figure and count on
- 6:02Speaker 6: the setbacks and the pitfalls. But it's those people that
- 6:06Speaker 6: that that that are that fight through will be the
- 6:10Speaker 6: victors in the end. You cannot give up, man, Stop
- 6:13Speaker 6: going somewhere and sitting down every time something goes down.
- 6:18Speaker 6: It's going to go down. It's a part of it.
- 6:22Speaker 6: It's going to happen. It's going to occur that are
- 6:25Speaker 6: going to be setbacks. If you go and sit down
- 6:28Speaker 6: every time there's a setback, that's.
- 6:32Speaker 5: Not how this works. It is designed that way.
- 6:35Speaker 6: If success were easy, everybody would be successful. But success
- 6:42Speaker 6: is just reserved for those who are willing to fight through,
- 6:45Speaker 6: who refuse to settle for mediocrity, who wants something more. Now,
- 6:51Speaker 6: don't get me wrong. Success is defined by each individual,
- 6:56Speaker 6: So what I may consider to be successful. You may
- 6:58Speaker 6: not consider that. You know what Bill Gates considered successful.
- 7:03Speaker 6: I might not consider what Michael Jordan considered successful. I
- 7:07Speaker 6: might not consider what you consider successful. Your boss might
- 7:11Speaker 6: not consider. You have to define what that is for yourself.
- 7:15Speaker 6: It may not be monetary at all. You know, your
- 7:19Speaker 6: level of success could be tied up in community service.
- 7:22Speaker 6: It could be tied up in family. It could be
- 7:25Speaker 6: tied up in the church. Your level of success could
- 7:28Speaker 6: be tied up into boys clubs. It could be any
- 7:32Speaker 6: number of things. Whatever your level of success is, you
- 7:36Speaker 6: have to determine what that is you and the best
- 7:39Speaker 6: way to determine that is to get in touch with
- 7:42Speaker 6: your maker, who created you, to find out what your
- 7:46Speaker 6: mission and your purpose is so he can put you
- 7:49Speaker 6: on track. I just had this conversation with my son
- 7:53Speaker 6: and we were talking about getting on the.
- 7:56Speaker 5: Path that God has set up for you.
- 8:00Speaker 6: Many times we find ourselves fighting through life because of
- 8:03Speaker 6: so much uncertainty, because we have no idea where we're headed.
- 8:09Speaker 6: It's like one of my sayings that I have at
- 8:14Speaker 6: my mentoring camp for boys is is that a boy
- 8:18Speaker 6: without a male role model is like an explorer without
- 8:22Speaker 6: a map. See if you don't have a map laid
- 8:28Speaker 6: out in front of you of where you're going when
- 8:32Speaker 6: you wake up every day, that pretty much explains the
- 8:36Speaker 6: feeling of confusion, the laxadaisical attitude, the lack of purpose,
- 8:44Speaker 6: to not understanding your mission because you don't have not
- 8:50Speaker 6: gotten in touch with your creator to find out exactly
- 8:54Speaker 6: what your path in life is. What are you supposed
- 8:57Speaker 6: to be doing? The moment you can identify that is
- 9:01Speaker 6: the moment that you get started waking up with purpose,
- 9:05Speaker 6: with the sense of direction. When you kill the sense
- 9:08Speaker 6: of I don't know what's next or what to do. Now,
- 9:11Speaker 6: there's going to be some confusing moments no matter what happened,
- 9:14Speaker 6: it's going to be some uncertainty, but at least you'll
- 9:16Speaker 6: know where you're going.
- 9:18Speaker 5: So if you.
- 9:18Speaker 6: Tied a waking up feeling loss, abandon, confuse, don't know
- 9:23Speaker 6: what to do, don't know what you're supposed to be doing,
- 9:27Speaker 6: refer back to your makeup. Because when He created you,
- 9:33Speaker 6: he had a plan for you. When he created you,
- 9:36Speaker 6: he had a path for you. Now we've made some
- 9:39Speaker 6: decisions to get off of both of those, the mission
- 9:42Speaker 6: and the path. But God can get you right back
- 9:45Speaker 6: on track. Do that today. Ask him what you're supposed
- 9:50Speaker 6: to be doing, and listen. God has all the answers
- 9:55Speaker 6: if you form the relationship.
- 9:56Speaker 9: Okay, you're listening.
- 10:00Speaker 6: Show all right, everybody, let me have your attention. Good morning,
- 10:05Speaker 6: good night, good day, good and well know that this
- 10:10Speaker 6: is how we started.
- 10:12Speaker 9: Mom.
- 10:13Speaker 6: We're gratitude. I've already thanked him this morning. As soon
- 10:16Speaker 6: as I open my eyes, I thank him. I'm getting
- 10:18Speaker 6: better and better and better at day. I'm just telling
- 10:21Speaker 6: y'all that's the best way to start today. Man, tell God,
- 10:23Speaker 6: think you so many things he does for us goes
- 10:26Speaker 6: without gratitude. We just got to do a better job
- 10:29Speaker 6: of that. The more you're grateful for, the more He
- 10:31Speaker 6: will give you to be grateful for. That's a principle
- 10:34Speaker 6: of success that's oftentimes overlooked. I need us to stop
- 10:38Speaker 6: overlooking it. This is the Steve Harvey Morning Show. The
- 10:41Speaker 6: members are Sherley Strawberry calling for real, Mississippi, Monica Junior,
- 10:45Speaker 6: and the legend that is Nephew Tommy. Ladies and gentlemen,
- 10:47Speaker 6: the most interesting man in the world is not on
- 10:52Speaker 6: that beer commission. No, he's on the Steve Harvey mon
- 10:56Speaker 6: and shit, yeah, junior, what in the world is going
- 11:02Speaker 6: on today?
- 11:03Speaker 5: And you're looking up in the air, so it's fit
- 11:05Speaker 5: to be a dude.
- 11:06Speaker 1: Okay, here we go.
- 11:08Speaker 10: I'm telling you it's May a couple of weeks Mother's Day.
- 11:13Speaker 1: Now I'm with Tommy. Am I required?
- 11:16Speaker 8: What?
- 11:16Speaker 1: Am I required to do?
- 11:17Speaker 7: Yes?
- 11:18Speaker 5: Everything?
- 11:18Speaker 9: This is okay?
- 11:21Speaker 5: She's a mother.
- 11:22Speaker 11: You're with Tommy?
- 11:24Speaker 10: What I just realized it's not my mama either, Tommy,
- 11:27Speaker 10: I didn't. I was my girlfriend at one point.
- 11:29Speaker 6: Now my wife? Who stop, stop stop shocking your ass.
- 11:34Speaker 6: Just got out of trouble. Now you're gonna ask me
- 11:43Speaker 6: about some month's day.
- 11:44Speaker 12: Yes, you get to when it gets something. Okay, just
- 11:48Speaker 12: got it?
- 11:49Speaker 1: Okay, But how hard do we have to go on
- 11:51Speaker 1: this day?
- 11:52Speaker 12: As hard as you all got? Whatever? Do you miss
- 11:55Speaker 12: the last dat you got to go?
- 11:57Speaker 9: Okay? See I don't know.
- 11:59Speaker 6: See the key word in this is date. The last
- 12:02Speaker 6: time you got in trouble was caused a birth date.
- 12:06Speaker 6: Now it's Mother's Day. You're gonna let these days get
- 12:10Speaker 6: your ass for Okay, for anything that has a day
- 12:15Speaker 6: on it, your ass got to excel. Valentine Day, an
- 12:21Speaker 6: aversarray if it's rhyme, with day anversarray christ date.
- 12:33Speaker 10: Okay, I don't give it THEMN what it is, man, Okay,
- 12:36Speaker 10: but let me just ask you this all this day, boy,
- 12:40Speaker 10: I'm not okay, I ain't gonna say, but let me
- 12:43Speaker 10: ask you this. On her birthday follows right before Valentine's Day,
- 12:48Speaker 10: then Mother's Day? Can we just move her birthday to
- 12:51Speaker 10: another day, just like somewhere in the summertime? Can we
- 12:54Speaker 10: just because all this stuff is piloted up in the
- 12:56Speaker 10: first quarter of the year, can we just move his birthday?
- 13:00Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 13:00Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, you don't want to move and see what
- 13:02Speaker 5: happened at your rate.
- 13:04Speaker 12: You need to be buying some for Halloween, Saint Patrick.
- 13:07Speaker 12: You need to be doing every damn holiday. Thet you
- 13:10Speaker 12: need Memorial Days.
- 13:13Speaker 9: Day, all the day.
- 13:19Speaker 5: You need to getting in all that stuff.
- 13:23Speaker 6: Secretary date, we just say you don't know how to
- 13:28Speaker 6: do this at all.
- 13:32Speaker 5: Dog, you need to come in there with.
- 13:35Speaker 13: All right, coming up thirty two minutes after the hour,
- 13:40Speaker 13: we'll run that brink back with a nephew right after this.
- 13:44Speaker 14: You're listening Morning.
- 13:47Speaker 13: Show, It is time now for the nephew to run
- 13:50Speaker 13: that prank back.
- 13:51Speaker 11: Nephew, what you got, well.
- 13:53Speaker 12: Charlie we headed down there to the church. This is
- 13:55Speaker 12: running that prank back. We headed down there to the
- 13:57Speaker 12: church again. We got some uh, we got a situation
- 14:00Speaker 12: down at the church. We got some weed in the
- 14:03Speaker 12: church band. We got some weed in the church band.
- 14:07Speaker 12: I don't know what it's doing in there, but we
- 14:09Speaker 12: got weed in the church van. So all of you
- 14:13Speaker 12: church folks, all of you choir members, all you folks
- 14:16Speaker 12: to drive the vand work out there in the parking lot,
- 14:18Speaker 12: all your different ministries, turn it up real loud, because
- 14:21Speaker 12: we got weed in the church van.
- 14:24Speaker 9: All right.
- 14:25Speaker 12: I don't know how much weed it is, but it
- 14:27Speaker 12: is weed in the church weed in the church van.
- 14:33Speaker 11: We need singing like in the next road.
- 14:36Speaker 12: I did weed in the church Bandy, let's go catch
- 14:40Speaker 12: weed in the church band.
- 14:45Speaker 9: Hello.
- 14:47Speaker 7: I'm trying to read there. Brother Hello, Hello, cause we
- 14:51Speaker 7: see that. I'm trying to read brother Dare, Brother Dan okay, yeh,
- 14:59Speaker 7: this brother Scott from the church and about the Baptist Hello, yeah,
- 15:04Speaker 7: I call you. I'm trying to get a little information
- 15:06Speaker 7: about the church band. What's what's your schedule?
- 15:09Speaker 15: Uh?
- 15:09Speaker 7: Will you drive the church? What what's your schedule? Uh?
- 15:12Speaker 16: I drive Wednesday Fridays and Sundays.
- 15:17Speaker 7: Okay, Wednesday, Friday, This Sunday, now Sunday. What what is
- 15:22Speaker 7: that schedule? Oh, Sunday.
- 15:25Speaker 17: I usually start about eight o'clock in the morning, probably
- 15:27Speaker 17: a little early.
- 15:28Speaker 16: It depending on some of the elderly people that I
- 15:30Speaker 16: have to go pick up and bring to the church,
- 15:33Speaker 16: make sure they get there okay, and get situated and
- 15:37Speaker 16: make sure they're on time for the service and whatnot.
- 15:40Speaker 7: Okay, and then you take them back home after service
- 15:43Speaker 7: is over.
- 15:44Speaker 17: Yes, I try to get all of them back home,
- 15:46Speaker 17: unless they got family members of something that come up
- 15:48Speaker 17: there and leat them up there and want to take
- 15:49Speaker 17: them to dinner.
- 15:50Speaker 8: The sun afterwards. But I usually get everybody back home.
- 15:54Speaker 7: Okay, Okay, Now this class Sunday, which is part of
- 15:59Speaker 7: the reason why I'm calling you. Uh. They saying that
- 16:03Speaker 7: some of the church uh members that was on the
- 16:06Speaker 7: vand this Sunday. Uh, they are complaining saying that that
- 16:12Speaker 7: the church vand was smelling like weed when they got
- 16:15Speaker 7: on that. Excuse me, they say the church van was
- 16:20Speaker 7: smelling like weed when they got on there. And you
- 16:23Speaker 7: are the person that was driving them.
- 16:26Speaker 16: No, no, no, no, no, no no, not not not the vand
- 16:28Speaker 16: that that I'm driving.
- 16:30Speaker 8: I don't know, I don't know't smoke weed in no Vand.
- 16:33Speaker 7: Uh do you smoke weed?
- 16:37Speaker 8: No, I don't smoke weed. I mean not curry. I
- 16:39Speaker 8: mean I have before, but I don't smoke weed now.
- 16:42Speaker 8: And I would smoke weed before picking some people up
- 16:44Speaker 8: to because now where are you carry it from? Who
- 16:50Speaker 8: told you this?
- 16:51Speaker 7: Well? All I know is what what? What's come down
- 16:53Speaker 7: the pipeline is? They saying that that a couple of
- 16:56Speaker 7: the members came complaining see see.
- 16:59Speaker 8: Nae just happened last week about this pipeline.
- 17:02Speaker 17: I want to know who the pipeline is because just
- 17:04Speaker 17: last week they came in me talking about that I
- 17:07Speaker 17: was using the van to go places that I wanted
- 17:09Speaker 17: to go to on my personal time.
- 17:11Speaker 8: Now I don't do that. I don't do stuff like that. Now.
- 17:13Speaker 8: I have had a.
- 17:14Speaker 17: Past, I had a history, but I don't do stuff
- 17:16Speaker 17: like that, and I wouldn't smoking. No church fan, So
- 17:19Speaker 17: are you seriously talking to what?
- 17:22Speaker 18: What?
- 17:22Speaker 7: What? What? We're trying to We're trying to get to
- 17:24Speaker 7: the bottom of it and see what's going on with you.
- 17:28Speaker 8: Elderly person said, do you know which one?
- 17:31Speaker 17: I don't know they love me. Every Sunday. Then people
- 17:33Speaker 17: tell me they love me. They say I'm one of
- 17:36Speaker 17: the most respectful young gentlemen they've.
- 17:37Speaker 8: Ever met in their life.
- 17:38Speaker 7: And so I really find it hard.
- 17:40Speaker 8: To believe that you getting these type of complaints about me.
- 17:43Speaker 7: Okay, what I'm saying feel like who we I don't
- 17:46Speaker 7: know what that means or nothing like that.
- 17:48Speaker 17: Look, brother, I don't know you too well, and I
- 17:51Speaker 17: know you don't know me. But I've been driving this
- 17:54Speaker 17: vans as a point to try to change my life
- 17:57Speaker 17: and where I've come from.
- 17:58Speaker 8: So this was something.
- 17:59Speaker 17: That I wanted to volunteer even though I'm getting paid
- 18:02Speaker 17: to give.
- 18:02Speaker 8: My time to do this for the church.
- 18:04Speaker 17: And now this is like the second instance where y'all
- 18:07Speaker 17: and came at me on some stuff about like I'm
- 18:09Speaker 17: trying to do something with this band. Now, why would
- 18:11Speaker 17: I disrespect the church man by smoking weed in it
- 18:14Speaker 17: and then letting the weeds stay in there so other people.
- 18:16Speaker 8: Could sell it.
- 18:17Speaker 7: Okay, so let me tell you what we're gonna do.
- 18:20Speaker 7: We're gonna go out here to the church van to
- 18:22Speaker 7: say we're gonna go out here today and open it up. Now,
- 18:25Speaker 7: if we see any seeds or anything around the driver
- 18:29Speaker 7: or seat. Then that then then we're gonna We're gonna
- 18:32Speaker 7: definitely uhna.
- 18:34Speaker 8: Open the vand up. Man.
- 18:35Speaker 17: I was raised in that church. Man, My mama go
- 18:37Speaker 17: to that church. My grandma se go to that church.
- 18:40Speaker 17: See the reason we even all left that church. And
- 18:42Speaker 17: you think I'm gonna mess up they by driving around
- 18:45Speaker 17: in the van full of elderly people smoking some.
- 18:50Speaker 7: Like wedad.
- 18:51Speaker 8: I don't know why such band smell like weed?
- 18:54Speaker 7: Man, Now I don't.
- 18:55Speaker 8: I don't got the answers to these questions. I'm just
- 18:57Speaker 8: trying to tell you that it wasn't me.
- 18:59Speaker 7: Did you have some weed in your pocket? And maybe
- 19:01Speaker 7: it with just snill it.
- 19:02Speaker 8: I ain't had no weed on me.
- 19:04Speaker 17: Stop trying to say like I had weed on me
- 19:06Speaker 17: and you ain't gonna give me nothing.
- 19:07Speaker 8: I ain't had no and we ain't had no weed
- 19:09Speaker 8: on me. Okay, Now, you ain't gonna mess up my
- 19:11Speaker 8: name or.

- 20:54Speaker 12: like going to church now. Who won't he do it?
- 20:57Speaker 11: Thank you?
- 20:57Speaker 13: Coming up next, ask the clo or love officers you're
- 21:01Speaker 13: listening Hard morning show coming up at the top of
- 21:05Speaker 13: the hour, and entertainment news. The Kentucky Derby is this
- 21:09Speaker 13: Saturday in Louisville. The met Gala is this Monday, and
- 21:13Speaker 13: Charles Barkley has apologized to Beyonce's mother. We'll talk about
- 21:18Speaker 13: all of these stories at the top of the hour,
- 21:20Speaker 13: but right now it is time to ask the clo.
- 21:24Speaker 13: This is from Lashanda in Savannah. Lashanda writes, I was
- 21:27Speaker 13: out Friday and so is my friend's husband. As I
- 21:31Speaker 13: left the bar, he walked me to my car as
- 21:33Speaker 13: he should have. My friend has a story twisted and
- 21:36Speaker 13: she thinks he flirted with me. How can she believe
- 21:39Speaker 13: a rumor over what we both told her?
- 21:44Speaker 5: M Well, you know, and Duri, that's a very true statement.
- 21:49Speaker 6: The problem is she's having problems with suspicion of other
- 21:53Speaker 6: things with her husband, and now you've fallen into line
- 21:56Speaker 6: with it, which has caused her to be insecure. She's
- 22:00Speaker 6: going to always find something wrong in anything he does
- 22:04Speaker 6: because of prior prior infractions, so to say so, it's
- 22:11Speaker 6: not for you to try to convince her. You stated
- 22:14Speaker 6: the case, not just back up stair out the way
- 22:16Speaker 6: and stay away from her husband at all costs because
- 22:19Speaker 6: he is under the microscope.
- 22:21Speaker 5: He's being watched.
- 22:22Speaker 12: And walk your own self to your car next time.
- 22:25Speaker 12: Antybody walking your eye. But the man should have walked
- 22:28Speaker 12: her to the car. He really should have walked her
- 22:31Speaker 12: to the car. But he's gonna pay for that. Car walking,
- 22:35Speaker 12: car law.
- 22:36Speaker 11: Walking, carwalking the crime all.
- 22:40Speaker 5: As all those are cheater infractions.
- 22:43Speaker 6: Car walking does opening, he'll pull it. You ask her
- 22:53Speaker 6: what flow she wanted to go to on the elevator
- 22:55Speaker 6: and press the button?
- 22:57Speaker 5: Baby, the woman, I was just standing by the buttons.
- 22:59Speaker 5: I asked her, what flow?
- 23:00Speaker 6: Well, why why you got to why you got to
- 23:02Speaker 6: make sure everybody getting where they need to go?
- 23:04Speaker 5: See it happened?
- 23:06Speaker 18: What's wrong with her fingers? She came, yeah, all right.
- 23:12Speaker 13: Uh. Moving on to Sandra Anne in Tampa. Sandra Ann says,
- 23:18Speaker 13: my twin sister was an adult film star five years ago.
- 23:22Speaker 11: She's moving back.
- 23:23Speaker 13: Home closer to me, and she thinks her reputation was
- 23:26Speaker 13: wiped clean after her baptism. Should I tell her how
- 23:30Speaker 13: hurt and ashamed I was? Or have I let too
- 23:33Speaker 13: much time go by?
- 23:35Speaker 6: Well the baptism, you was she was wiped clean in
- 23:38Speaker 6: the sight of God. Yeah, God, forgiving God. Now you
- 23:45Speaker 6: have totally been a you know, forgiven by God that

- 24:03Speaker 6: a twin girl.
- 24:05Speaker 9: I just saw you.
- 24:06Speaker 6: You ain't seen me, Noamn, it was I got a
- 24:14Speaker 6: twin sister. How that sign? How that sign? So you
- 24:20Speaker 6: know it's it's a part of it. I mean, lady,
- 24:23Speaker 6: you have to work that out in your own mind.
- 24:25Speaker 6: She got baptized, she turned her life around. She has
- 24:28Speaker 6: every right to do that. Now. If I were you
- 24:32Speaker 6: when she moved into town, I moved somewhere else.
- 24:39Speaker 5: That's what I would do.

- 24:48Speaker 12: see where it's coming.
- 24:52Speaker 7: Now.
- 24:52Speaker 9: Nobody want to see nothing.
- 24:55Speaker 5: That's why nobody?
- 24:56Speaker 1: Right you?
- 25:00Speaker 11: Yeah?
- 25:02Speaker 13: JD and Gary Steve says, I have a new neighbor

- 25:39Speaker 9: Our vibe, we vibe online this evening.
- 25:41Speaker 6: But today though, I'm over here cutting this grass, triving
- 25:45Speaker 6: these hedges. I'm over I'm I'm I'm ringing the door
- 25:50Speaker 6: bell for Amazon.

- 26:00Speaker 6: I'm in the DoD Ball fish in my hair. Yeah, bro, bro,

- 26:09Speaker 6: statement he made.

- 26:41Speaker 6: segment for you because so you can stay out of
- 26:44Speaker 6: c l O.
- 26:45Speaker 5: I have a s.
- 26:49Speaker 6: Well listen, very popular settlement. You know how people get
- 26:52Speaker 6: n f ts. You know n f ts, you know

- 27:45Speaker 13: Oh okay, Flirt and Johannesburg says, I met a man
- 27:49Speaker 13: that has a lot of money, but he doesn't like

- 28:00Speaker 13: like a gold digger if I told him I like
- 28:02Speaker 13: to be spoiled?

- 28:07Speaker 6: Well, see it's you're a little late, but I'm gonna
- 28:10Speaker 6: explain something to you. You don't have to tell a
- 28:14Speaker 6: man you like to be spoiled. You have to behave
- 28:17Speaker 6: in a certain way that requires that a man spoils you,
- 28:22Speaker 6: but you have to disguise the spoil, okay, instead of
- 28:27Speaker 6: using the word spoiled, and just slowly put him out there. Hey, sweetish,
- 28:32Speaker 6: so we're going to dinner? Where are we going tonight?
- 28:36Speaker 6: And then he'll say, I'm figuring. And then you say, hey,

- 28:43Speaker 6: heard it was really really nice. He gonna go, yeah,
- 28:46Speaker 6: let me take you that. Then you're gonna say, you know,
- 28:49Speaker 6: tie da da da da dada, you know, and just
- 28:51Speaker 6: you introduce him to the spoiled world with simple, simple experts,
- 29:00Speaker 6: but lower them and after a while you would train
- 29:03Speaker 6: a man just bawn you without having to introduce it.
- 29:09Speaker 11: Me, you better drop the knowledge of Laned Harvey RULs.
- 29:16Speaker 13: All right, coming up at the top of the hour,
- 29:18Speaker 13: we'll have some entertainment right after this.
- 29:21Speaker 12: That's what I want. I was just gonna say, I'm
- 29:22Speaker 12: not gonna say that. That's a.

- 54:31Speaker 11: Here.
- 54:31Speaker 9: It is strawberry.
- 54:32Speaker 13: Letter, subject thank you nephew. How does she know your nickname?
- 54:38Speaker 13: Dear Stephen Shirley. I've been married for five years and
- 54:41Speaker 13: i had a baby in December, so I'm eager to
- 54:43Speaker 13: get these few extra pounds off. Pilates has always been
- 54:47Speaker 13: my thing, but my plates instructor moved to another city.
- 54:51Speaker 13: My husband loves his class at the gym, so I
- 54:54Speaker 13: asked if it's worth me giving it a try. He said,
- 54:56Speaker 13: his class is full and there's a waiting list because
- 55:00Speaker 13: this instructor is the best. I'm a member at his
- 55:03Speaker 13: gym too, so I went by one day and enrolled
- 55:06Speaker 13: in any classes I could take. I ended up in
- 55:08Speaker 13: a pilates class with a nice older lady, but after
- 55:12Speaker 13: one session, I realized I'm too advanced for her class,
- 55:16Speaker 13: and she agreed. She suggested I sign up for the
- 55:19Speaker 13: other pilates class, so I did. It was just my
- 55:23Speaker 13: luck that there was not a waiting list like my
- 55:25Speaker 13: husband said there was. I called my husband to tell
- 55:28Speaker 13: him how happy I was to be in his class.
- 55:31Speaker 13: He didn't seem happy at all, and he said that
- 55:33Speaker 13: I can't be distracting him while he's in the class.
- 55:37Speaker 13: I'm not gonna lie. I did not like his reaction,
- 55:41Speaker 13: but I was still happy. I went to class the
- 55:44Speaker 13: next day, but my husband wasn't there. I enjoyed it,
- 55:47Speaker 13: and the instructor is a cute, petite Latina with curly
- 55:51Speaker 13: red hair. I ran into my husband as I was
- 55:55Speaker 13: leaving the gym, and I didn't realize that my pilates
- 55:58Speaker 13: instructor was behind me. I told my husband that I
- 56:01Speaker 13: love the class, and then the instructor popped out of
- 56:04Speaker 13: nowhere and asked if quote Bugs had recommended the class
- 56:09Speaker 13: to me. Bugs is my husband's nickname. I responded, yes,
- 56:13Speaker 13: he did. She thanked me for coming and said see
- 56:17Speaker 13: you later. To Bugs, all he can say is that
- 56:20Speaker 13: a lot of people call him Bugs, so it's no
- 56:23Speaker 13: big deal. He said, see you later is a universal greeting,
- 56:26Speaker 13: and it didn't mean later that day. I don't buy
- 56:29Speaker 13: any of that. Is she giving my husband bugs more
- 56:32Speaker 13: than Pilate's lessons?
- 56:34Speaker 15: Hmm?
- 56:36Speaker 13: Well, you know what I'll say this. You never know
- 56:38Speaker 13: because you have no evidence, you have no receipts. It
- 56:40Speaker 13: could be yes, they did something, or no, there's just
- 56:43Speaker 13: some sort of attraction between them. He was right, see
- 56:46Speaker 13: you later is universal, But why say it just to him?
- 56:52Speaker 13: You know that was kind of suspect. We all know
- 56:55Speaker 13: women see and feel things that men don't, and you're
- 56:58Speaker 13: sensing some sort of energy between them, because what is
- 57:02Speaker 13: clear is that she was very familiar with your husband, Bugs,
- 57:06Speaker 13: and your man was not happy about you joining the class.
- 57:10Speaker 13: Why why wasn't he happy about you joining the class?
- 57:14Speaker 13: She had no clue you were his wifey, and he
- 57:17Speaker 13: certainly didn't say anything or introduce you. Guys, all you're
- 57:21Speaker 13: trying to do is get back in shape, and he's
- 57:22Speaker 13: not being supportive at all. What's he mad about?
- 57:26Speaker 11: What's going on?
- 57:27Speaker 15: Why?
- 57:27Speaker 11: You know, what is the problem here?
- 57:30Speaker 13: If you weren't in shape, I'm sure he had, he
- 57:33Speaker 13: would have something negative to say about that. So I
- 57:36Speaker 13: say to you this, whatever you do, stay in the
- 57:38Speaker 13: class so you can keep your eyes on them, and
- 57:41Speaker 13: remember you are doing this for you, trying to get.
- 57:44Speaker 11: Back in shape.
- 57:45Speaker 13: Meanwhile, Bugs and the little pilate's instructor need to cool
- 57:48Speaker 13: it whatever they got going on. If anything, Bugs better
- 57:53Speaker 13: stop disrespecting you before you get back.
- 57:55Speaker 11: Fine, and he winds up on the couch, Okay.
- 57:58Speaker 5: Steve on the couch.
- 58:05Speaker 11: Because she's in this class.
- 58:08Speaker 6: You know, Sureley, I'm just gonna give your answer.
- 58:13Speaker 15: Na.
- 58:14Speaker 6: Your answers is always jaded, and it is rediculous that
- 58:23Speaker 6: the level you was stooped to to break up relationships you.
- 58:30Speaker 5: Have done more.
- 58:32Speaker 9: Take in relate, he ain't did nothing.
- 58:37Speaker 6: Now I'm gonna break this letter down and I'm gonna
- 58:40Speaker 6: show you where he wrong, and I'll show.
- 58:43Speaker 5: You where she wrong. You've been married for five years.
- 58:47Speaker 6: You had a baby in December, so you're eager to
- 58:49Speaker 6: get the few extra pounds off. That's okay, that's understood.
- 58:52Speaker 6: You know what happens when you have a baby. Congratulations.
- 58:55Speaker 6: By the way, pilates has always been my thing, but
- 58:58Speaker 6: my pilates instructor moved to another city. My husband loves
- 59:03Speaker 6: his class at his gym. Now I'm assuming this is pilates. Yeah,
- 59:09Speaker 6: so I asked it is it worth me giving a try?
- 59:13Speaker 6: He said, this is what he said, his class, fool,
- 59:17Speaker 6: and it's a waiting list because his instructor is the best.
- 59:21Speaker 6: I'm a member at his gym too, so I went
- 59:24Speaker 6: by and enrolled in any class I could take.
- 59:28Speaker 5: Now, here's the problem with that.
- 59:30Speaker 6: Your husband should have given you his spot in the class,
- 59:36Speaker 6: because what did you do? You gave him a child.
- 59:40Speaker 6: You need the pilates class more than him. You've been
- 59:43Speaker 6: through more than him. You just had this baby in December.
- 59:46Speaker 6: The decent thing your husband would have said, well, hey, baby,
- 59:48Speaker 6: you take my spot at the class. Gonna get yourself together.
- 59:52Speaker 6: I know how hard that must be, but I would
- 59:54Speaker 6: love you. You should have my spotty.
- 59:56Speaker 5: That's what he.
- 59:56Speaker 6: Should have did, so you win to enroll in any
- 1:00:01Speaker 6: class that you could take. You ended up in the
- 1:00:04Speaker 6: polates class with a nice old lady. But after one
- 1:00:06Speaker 6: session I realized I'm too advanced for her class, and
- 1:00:11Speaker 6: she agreed. Now this is amazing. So this woman who
- 1:00:15Speaker 6: just had this baby is obviously in shape because she's
- 1:00:18Speaker 6: an advanced pilates That means her leg go all the
- 1:00:21Speaker 6: way back up there by her ear that type thing
- 1:00:24Speaker 6: right there, that class out you've been finding out about
- 1:00:27Speaker 6: yourself at something in PILATEI it was just my luck
- 1:00:32Speaker 6: that that was She suggested I sign up for the
- 1:00:36Speaker 6: other pilates class. Now the other one. Guess what you
- 1:00:41Speaker 6: did it? And when I know, I'm going to tell
- 1:00:44Speaker 6: you that your husband was in that damn class.
- 1:00:47Speaker 13: Ah, we'll have Part two of Steve's response coming up
- 1:00:51Speaker 13: at twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's Strawberry Letters
- 1:00:55Speaker 13: subject how does she know your nickname? We'll get back
- 1:00:58Speaker 13: into it right after this.
- 1:01:00Speaker 14: You're listening hard morning show.
- 1:01:03Speaker 13: All right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:01:06Speaker 13: The subject is how does she know your nickname?
- 1:01:09Speaker 6: H Well, this lady Mary five years just had a
- 1:01:12Speaker 6: baby and she wanted to go get the extra pounds off.
- 1:01:14Speaker 6: She wanted to go take a polates class, but her
- 1:01:16Speaker 6: polate's instructor had moved out of town. So she has
- 1:01:20Speaker 6: a gym membership at the same gym her husband had,
- 1:01:23Speaker 6: and so she asked him about his polates class. He said,
- 1:01:30Speaker 6: his class full, and it's a waiting list because his
- 1:01:33Speaker 6: instructor is the best.
- 1:01:34Speaker 5: I said.
- 1:01:35Speaker 6: What he should have did was say, hey, baby, you're
- 1:01:37Speaker 6: trying to get in shape. Let me give you my space.
- 1:01:39Speaker 6: Gone down there and get yourself together. Because you thene
- 1:01:41Speaker 6: gave me a baby, you dine, gave us a family.
- 1:01:44Speaker 6: You did what I can't ever do, So let me
- 1:01:47Speaker 6: do something for you. That would have been the gentleman
- 1:01:49Speaker 6: thing to do. But now he told her the class
- 1:01:52Speaker 6: was full. So she went down there to the gym
- 1:01:55Speaker 6: to sign up for any class, and they ended up
- 1:01:57Speaker 6: taking a Politi class with a nice old lady. After
- 1:01:59Speaker 6: the first session, she discovered she was too advanced for
- 1:02:01Speaker 6: the class, and the lady agreed. She suggested she sign
- 1:02:04Speaker 6: up for the other class. And guess what it wasn't
- 1:02:07Speaker 6: no waiting list for it. But guess what, it's the
- 1:02:11Speaker 6: Politi class your husband was in. And it was just
- 1:02:14Speaker 6: my luck that that was not a waiting list like
- 1:02:17Speaker 6: my husband said.
- 1:02:18Speaker 12: It was.
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: God.
- 1:02:19Speaker 6: Though I called my husband tell him how happy I
- 1:02:23Speaker 6: was to be in his class, he didn't seem happy
- 1:02:27Speaker 6: at all.
- 1:02:29Speaker 5: Dun dun dunt du.
- 1:02:33Speaker 6: Dun, dun dunt dun, he said, I can't be distracting
- 1:02:38Speaker 6: him while he's in class.
- 1:02:40Speaker 9: Boy, boy, I'm not gonna lie.
- 1:02:45Speaker 6: I ain't like his reaction, but I was still happy.
- 1:02:48Speaker 6: So I went to the class the next day, but
- 1:02:50Speaker 6: my husband wasn't there. Oh oh, how convenient. I don't
- 1:02:55Speaker 6: know what kind of relationship y'all got. Y'all don't ever
- 1:02:57Speaker 6: know where each other at, and my husband wasn't there.
- 1:03:03Speaker 5: I enjoyed it.
- 1:03:04Speaker 6: And the destructor is a cute petite Latini excuse me.
- 1:03:09Speaker 6: The instructor is a cute, petite Latina with curly red hair.
- 1:03:15Speaker 6: I ran into my husband as I was leaving the gym,
- 1:03:18Speaker 6: and I ain't even realized my plate's instructor was behind me.
- 1:03:21Speaker 6: I told my husband I loved the class, and the
- 1:03:24Speaker 6: instructor popped out of nowhere and asked if Bugs had
- 1:03:28Speaker 6: recommended the class to me? Bugs is my husband's nickname.
- 1:03:33Speaker 6: I responded, yes, he did. She thanked me for coming
- 1:03:36Speaker 6: and said see you later. She says see you later
- 1:03:39Speaker 6: to Bugs, all he can say is that's lots of
- 1:03:42Speaker 6: people call him Bugs, so it's no big deal. He says,
- 1:03:47Speaker 6: see you later is a universal greedy and it didn't
- 1:03:50Speaker 6: mean later that day.
- 1:03:52Speaker 5: Good answer, Bugs.
- 1:03:55Speaker 11: You proud of him?
- 1:03:57Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 1:03:57Speaker 6: Bug dog, go on it. That's fa thinking. I didn't
- 1:04:01Speaker 6: buy any of that. If she giveing my husband Bugs
- 1:04:06Speaker 6: more than pilates lessons, your question should be, is bugs.
- 1:04:11Speaker 5: Taking more than pilates?
- 1:04:15Speaker 6: Is Bugs doing his pilates without the machine?
- 1:04:19Speaker 11: Okay?
- 1:04:21Speaker 9: How far back do the bugs leg go?
- 1:04:24Speaker 11: Now?
- 1:04:28Speaker 6: Bugs acting as a reformer himself for the little petit, red,
- 1:04:32Speaker 6: curly head leftina. These are the questions you should ask.
- 1:04:36Speaker 6: But that ain't the one you asked, So therefore I'm
- 1:04:39Speaker 6: a side with Bugs. See you later means just see
- 1:04:43Speaker 6: you later at the class. Now did it sound like
- 1:04:47Speaker 6: something else?
- 1:04:48Speaker 5: Yes? It did you know it?
- 1:04:51Speaker 6: But just cause she knew that nickname bugs, don't make
- 1:04:54Speaker 6: him guilty. Now if his nickname was no Tip, now
- 1:04:59Speaker 6: we got problems. How would she know your nickname no Tip?
- 1:05:05Speaker 6: See if your nickname is no tip? Black people give
- 1:05:10Speaker 6: nicknames cause of a discovery, how would she know to
- 1:05:15Speaker 6: call you no tip? Dimple? But dimple?
- 1:05:20Speaker 5: But is another nickname that you would have to.
- 1:05:25Speaker 7: Have.
- 1:05:26Speaker 6: You know, something had had hair happened. You know, you
- 1:05:31Speaker 6: know your nickname d T. You know what I'm saying DT.
- 1:05:35Speaker 6: That's that's something right here. You know fat and canterbody,
- 1:05:40Speaker 6: deep throat, came abody call you that and and and
- 1:05:43Speaker 6: and without something going on here? These are nicknames that
- 1:05:48Speaker 6: you have to be explaining. You know, mm hm, tasty
- 1:05:54Speaker 6: your nickname tasty? See now, bug ain't no real dead giveaway.
- 1:06:02Speaker 6: Bugs is short for june bug. All of us know
- 1:06:06Speaker 6: a june bug. It's a very common name in the right.
- 1:06:12Speaker 13: Steve was, yes, why didn't he Why didn't he introduce
- 1:06:17Speaker 13: his wife to the instructor when she came out.
- 1:06:19Speaker 11: Why didn't he just because my wife?
- 1:06:22Speaker 5: The instructor was behind the wife. He didn't see her.
- 1:06:26Speaker 5: She petit the white big just had the baby.
- 1:06:29Speaker 13: But she came out. He did hear her, and she
- 1:06:32Speaker 13: did talk to the wife.
- 1:06:34Speaker 6: No, she popped up from behind the wife. I know
- 1:06:37Speaker 6: she ran to her husband on the way out to gym.
- 1:06:40Speaker 6: The instructor was behind her. The lady didn't know the
- 1:06:42Speaker 6: instructor was behind her and said, I enjoyed the class.
- 1:06:47Speaker 11: And she said, oh, did bugs tell you about it?
- 1:06:49Speaker 11: Did he recommend it?
- 1:06:50Speaker 6: That's she popped up from behind because she remember she
- 1:06:53Speaker 6: was behind me.
- 1:06:54Speaker 11: Saying that we know that Mike.
- 1:06:57Speaker 6: Behind her because she was small and petit. We read, hell,
- 1:07:02Speaker 6: that's what I happen.
- 1:07:04Speaker 11: That is not what happened.
- 1:07:05Speaker 9: All right?
- 1:07:05Speaker 13: Post your comments on today's Strawberry Letter that Steve Instagram

- 1:07:47Speaker 1: What it got him, dumb.
- 1:07:53Speaker 9: Man.
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: It was the White and Brown Show last night.
- 1:07:55Speaker 10: Dereck White dropped twenty five, Jayli Brown dropped another twenty five.
- 1:07:58Speaker 10: Jason Tatum finished with six. Team and you know, Miami
- 1:08:01Speaker 10: ain't got to really go for They ain't got to
- 1:08:02Speaker 10: go on vacation. They just go back home. They just
- 1:08:05Speaker 10: go right back on home and just going out to
- 1:08:07Speaker 10: the beach, get the swim trunks and gone out there.
- 1:08:08Speaker 9: They got a good beach.
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: Yeah, they got a nice beach, Your South beach.
- 1:08:11Speaker 9: You're right there.
- 1:08:12Speaker 10: So they are officially gone. The Mavericks Man beat the
- 1:08:16Speaker 10: Clippers by thirty man one twenty three to ninety three.
- 1:08:21Speaker 10: I don't know Luca, man, it looked like Luca moving
- 1:08:24Speaker 10: slow motion, un but he dropped thirty five, ten assists,
- 1:08:27Speaker 10: double double.
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: But this game is so different. It's like it moving
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: slow motion.
- 1:08:32Speaker 7: Man.
- 1:08:32Speaker 9: But the boy just cold.
- 1:08:34Speaker 6: It's efficiency, Junior. Yeah, yeah, looks like he was fast.
- 1:08:41Speaker 10: No, no, no, not at all. But all these Kyrie
- 1:08:46Speaker 10: dropped fourteen. Man, the MAVs move on take a three
- 1:08:49Speaker 10: to two leads over the Clippers, and you know, hey,
- 1:08:53Speaker 10: we'll just see what happened.
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: It's the sad part about it.
- 1:08:55Speaker 10: It's just that James Harden Paul George, this is just
- 1:08:59Speaker 10: his playoff hard seven points two for twelve. Did that
- 1:09:02Speaker 10: for the Rockets seven points two for twelve. Paul George
- 1:09:05Speaker 10: had fifteen. Uh it was he was on four thirteen shooting.
- 1:09:10Speaker 10: So no, Kawhi Leonard again. So we just don't know
- 1:09:14Speaker 10: what's gonna happen with the with with the with the Cliffers. Man,
- 1:09:17Speaker 10: they may be going home, mank I just had to
- 1:09:19Speaker 10: say they may be going home.
- 1:09:21Speaker 5: Well, I mean, you know, once again, what does that
- 1:09:25Speaker 5: have to do?
- 1:09:25Speaker 10: We meet nothing nothing?
- 1:09:31Speaker 5: No, it ain't got nothing.
- 1:09:32Speaker 6: Hey, I told y'all, Oh no, they're not doing me
- 1:09:35Speaker 6: like this no more. What I ain't got time?
- 1:09:47Speaker 10: Well I got you man. Well tonight, man, we got
- 1:09:49Speaker 10: the Bucks and Pacers. The Pacers lead of the Bucks
- 1:09:52Speaker 10: three to two, and then we got the Knicks and
- 1:09:54Speaker 10: the seventy six is tonight and the Knicks lead three
- 1:09:57Speaker 10: to two in that series. So the nation game. But
- 1:10:00Speaker 10: it is a good series, so we just got to
- 1:10:03Speaker 10: see what happens. But I got I got you.
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: It's not important.
- 1:10:06Speaker 10: You don't want to get your hopes off for nobody,
- 1:10:08Speaker 10: not even one team, not no nobody, not.
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: A clip, the Cavaliers, Clippers.
- 1:10:12Speaker 8: Man.
- 1:10:14Speaker 5: Yes, whatever, win.
- 1:10:18Speaker 11: Or lose, you get in your Phantom and drive to
- 1:10:20Speaker 11: your man.
- 1:10:22Speaker 6: Yep, that's them, that's sir, that's my attitude Phantom.
- 1:10:31Speaker 13: All right, junior, thank you. Coming up at the top
- 1:10:33Speaker 13: of the hour, a man on social media. Steve needs
- 1:10:36Speaker 13: some advice. He says, I refuse to answer a no
- 1:10:39Speaker 13: when question. We'll talk about it right after this.
- 1:10:43Speaker 14: You're listening Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:10:48Speaker 11: All right, so Steve Cedric on Steve Harvey f M. Wrights.
- 1:10:51Speaker 13: As any man can attest, there are some questions you
- 1:10:55Speaker 13: just don't answer. I was just hit with one of those,
- 1:10:58Speaker 13: and now I'm in the doghouse. Were refusing to even
- 1:11:01Speaker 13: take part in the conversation. Last night at dinner, my
- 1:11:04Speaker 13: wife asked, if there was a house fire and you
- 1:11:09Speaker 13: could only rescue one of us, who would you choose
- 1:11:13Speaker 13: as a point of reference. In our house, there's there's me,
- 1:11:16Speaker 13: my wife, our two daughters, and a dog. My response
- 1:11:19Speaker 13: was simply that there's no way to possibly answer that
- 1:11:22Speaker 13: question because I don't know where I would be in
- 1:11:25Speaker 13: the house, what was blocking the exit, and where everyone
- 1:11:28Speaker 13: else in the house was located. I think it's a
- 1:11:30Speaker 13: trap question to which there's no right answer. So I
- 1:11:34Speaker 13: bowed out of the conversation completely. Now she's not talking
- 1:11:38Speaker 13: to me. How can I end this silent treatment?
- 1:11:41Speaker 6: All you got to do is say, look, I don't
- 1:11:43Speaker 6: want you to think I'm a bad father, but I
- 1:11:45Speaker 6: definitely would have to come get you.
- 1:11:47Speaker 5: Think whether you mean.
- 1:11:49Speaker 13: It or not, whether you mean it or not, why
- 1:11:53Speaker 13: say it if you don't mean it?
- 1:11:54Speaker 12: So I'm going to get these third degree burns all
- 1:11:57Speaker 12: the way across over there to go get hood and
- 1:11:59Speaker 12: damn nidda.
- 1:12:01Speaker 6: Well, you know you gotta sometimes talking to your wife.
- 1:12:05Speaker 6: You don't have to you don't have to tell the truth.
- 1:12:08Speaker 6: Sometimes you have to tell them what they want to hear.
- 1:12:10Speaker 6: See that's what it is. I'm like, okay, I like that.
- 1:12:14Speaker 5: You know why not?
- 1:12:14Speaker 6: Now, well we can go process with the nature. I
- 1:12:17Speaker 6: can tell you right now, the dog ain't on me.
- 1:12:24Speaker 6: He need to do something. He need to get the dog.
- 1:12:29Speaker 6: And whatever dogs do to say, they damn like that's
- 1:12:32Speaker 6: what he needs to get to do. But now them
- 1:12:34Speaker 6: kids and that wife, and I would just tell my wife,
- 1:12:36Speaker 6: I'll come get you, mabe.
- 1:12:38Speaker 9: So you would get the wife perds over the kids.
- 1:12:40Speaker 9: That's the question.
- 1:12:43Speaker 5: Well, you know that's what she's you know, that's what
- 1:12:46Speaker 5: I would tell.
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: Her if she asked, okay, And.
- 1:12:50Speaker 6: Then you can get mad at me for not going
- 1:12:52Speaker 6: to kids. But then I tell you, but I love you.
- 1:12:55Speaker 5: I love you more.
- 1:12:57Speaker 11: You know what I have said that then what he
- 1:12:59Speaker 11: said it.
- 1:13:00Speaker 13: I wasn't mad at what he said because a lot
- 1:13:02Speaker 13: of that is true.
- 1:13:04Speaker 11: You know what he said about depending.
- 1:13:05Speaker 8: On where he was.
- 1:13:07Speaker 6: Don't you know what Charloa, I've noticed about you that.
- 1:13:17Speaker 5: Seemed to be happy with my answers.
- 1:13:19Speaker 11: No, I'm thrilled with your answer. I'm thrilled with it.
- 1:13:22Speaker 13: I mean, we're on the same page, but I'm just saying,
- 1:13:26Speaker 13: don't we have a little more time?
- 1:13:28Speaker 9: But we don't see thrill, We don't see three of them.
- 1:13:34Speaker 14: You're not in this.
- 1:13:37Speaker 13: You just I am thrilled with your answer because I
- 1:13:40Speaker 13: think it's right he should get the wife first. Say
- 1:13:43Speaker 13: that though, well I think I did. I think I
- 1:13:47Speaker 13: did say that you should get the wife first. But
- 1:13:49Speaker 13: I wasn't mad at his answer either. Had he said
- 1:13:52Speaker 13: the wife first, that's all. That's what I said.
- 1:13:56Speaker 5: But he didn't say anything, and you upset with.
- 1:13:59Speaker 11: It because he No, I'm not upset with him, he said.
- 1:14:02Speaker 13: My response was simply that there's no way to possibly
- 1:14:05Speaker 13: answer that question because he doesn't know where.
- 1:14:07Speaker 11: He'd be in the house. What was blocking the exit
- 1:14:11Speaker 11: where everyone else in the house was.
- 1:14:13Speaker 6: Long Man answered, though, always tell your wife what you
- 1:14:16Speaker 6: think you wanted to.
- 1:14:17Speaker 5: I agree with you that, whether you mean it or not.
- 1:14:22Speaker 11: See, that's the part that's the problem, whether you need.
- 1:14:25Speaker 8: It or not.
- 1:14:28Speaker 6: Well it would be. Here's you want to know what
- 1:14:30Speaker 6: to answer for me? You know, I want to answer
- 1:14:33Speaker 6: to me. You want to hear answer which one? Why
- 1:14:37Speaker 6: is you talking about? That's all I need.
- 1:14:38Speaker 18: To say that you're currently married to I'm going to
- 1:14:43Speaker 18: get home.
- 1:14:43Speaker 2: You're right.
- 1:14:44Speaker 11: I didn't like your answer. You're right, I'm going.
- 1:14:46Speaker 5: To get home.
- 1:14:48Speaker 6: Previously i'd got them kids and that damn though.
- 1:14:54Speaker 11: All right, we have time for another one.
- 1:14:56Speaker 12: Uh.
- 1:14:56Speaker 11: This is Craig on Facebook. He says, my all right,
- 1:15:01Speaker 11: so you just tell your wife whatever she wants to hear.
- 1:15:04Speaker 11: That's what you're saying.
- 1:15:05Speaker 5: What you want to hear. That's all you got to do.
- 1:15:08Speaker 5: We all do.
- 1:15:08Speaker 11: What if she wants to hear the truth?
- 1:15:10Speaker 5: What does she wants for all the time? I hate
- 1:15:12Speaker 5: tom heard, damn the truth.
- 1:15:15Speaker 11: That's what she wants to hear.
- 1:15:17Speaker 5: Tell her that, No, I'll tell her truth.
- 1:15:22Speaker 13: More of today's Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at
- 1:15:26Speaker 13: twenty minutes after right after this.
- 1:15:28Speaker 14: You're listening Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:15:33Speaker 13: All right, Tommy, you remember the other day when you
- 1:15:35Speaker 13: said you wanted to go on an African safari?
- 1:15:37Speaker 11: You remember that?
- 1:15:38Speaker 13: Well, have you guys seen the viral video of the
- 1:15:41Speaker 13: lion and lioness They were having sex on top of
- 1:15:43Speaker 13: the South African Safari.
- 1:15:47Speaker 11: You saw it's Steve.
- 1:15:51Speaker 13: The tourists inside the truck were stunned to watch them.
- 1:15:54Speaker 13: The male lion is seen on top of the female
- 1:15:57Speaker 13: lion and safari truck started shaking from side to side.
- 1:16:00Speaker 13: Right then the lion let out a couple of brawls. Yes,
- 1:16:06Speaker 13: my favorite part, and then the session.
- 1:16:08Speaker 11: It didn't last long because the lioness got tired and
- 1:16:11Speaker 11: the King of the Jungle just stopped.
- 1:16:13Speaker 9: That's how we stopped.
- 1:16:14Speaker 11: What she was bored though, didn't she.
- 1:16:19Speaker 12: The people in the truck. There's nothing you can do.
- 1:16:22Speaker 12: You got to watch them. You can't get out and
- 1:16:26Speaker 12: say y'all need to get a room.
- 1:16:28Speaker 9: You can't get out of there.
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: Nothing, I say nothing.
- 1:16:33Speaker 11: So how you feel about that African Safari?
- 1:16:35Speaker 12: Now I need to go with as completely. I'm scared.
- 1:16:39Speaker 12: I'm scared.
- 1:16:40Speaker 11: See if you've been have you ever seen anything like that?
- 1:16:43Speaker 5: Oh? Yeah, certain ones you can go on. They have
- 1:16:45Speaker 5: different levels of surfar i.
- 1:16:48Speaker 6: Which is the only suggestion that you go on one
- 1:16:50Speaker 6: of those savars that provided with five star service on
- 1:16:55Speaker 6: the safari as well as back at your that's my suggestion.
- 1:17:02Speaker 9: It's the rich, how much you call and all.
- 1:17:06Speaker 13: That you have to Kentucky, Jersey and the man I
- 1:17:09Speaker 13: don't know how to tell you. Coming up in thirty
- 1:17:12Speaker 13: three minutes after we'll play around of which you rather?
- 1:17:15Speaker 11: Right after this, you're.

- 1:17:21Speaker 13: of would you rather? Would you rather live a long
- 1:17:24Speaker 13: life in poverty or very short life?
- 1:17:27Speaker 12: But Rich long, Poe ass Man short, Rich, Now.
- 1:17:37Speaker 5: I have the perfect answer.
- 1:17:38Speaker 11: What's the perfect answer?
- 1:17:41Speaker 6: I already know that I've lived longer than i've got.
- 1:17:46Speaker 5: So you can hand me this show rich had life
- 1:17:48Speaker 5: and go on, let me ride out.
- 1:17:50Speaker 11: If we start from today.
- 1:17:52Speaker 6: I'm sixty seven, I've already been here longer than I
- 1:17:55Speaker 6: got left I got I got.
- 1:17:58Speaker 5: Forty maybe thirty eight years. That's short compared to the
- 1:18:03Speaker 5: time I've been with Yeah. Sure, yeah, So I take
- 1:18:08Speaker 5: this show which life.
- 1:18:10Speaker 11: Going about your business?
- 1:18:14Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 1:18:15Speaker 6: Yeah, you probably got a little bit longer to go
- 1:18:17Speaker 6: than you've lived. So the choice is yours.
- 1:18:20Speaker 11: Yeah, I'm gonna take b short life and rich.
- 1:18:25Speaker 9: Okay, all right, m.
- 1:18:28Speaker 5: Junior, listen to me. Man, you you need.
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: To try this healthy thing and just be poping good.
- 1:18:38Speaker 6: You're gonna get to live long, and if you live long,
- 1:18:40Speaker 6: you're healthy. Okay, Okay, you need to quit listening to
- 1:18:45Speaker 6: me sometimes.
- 1:18:46Speaker 11: Yeah, mentor what are you talking about?
- 1:18:51Speaker 5: But I'm twenty two years older than him? To vote
- 1:18:57Speaker 5: for yourself?
- 1:19:00Speaker 9: All right?
- 1:19:01Speaker 13: You're you're in a gladiator ring. Okay, So would you
- 1:19:04Speaker 13: rather fight a lion or would you rather fight a rhino?
- 1:19:13Speaker 9: R They bothous?
- 1:19:18Speaker 11: Yea the slowest, I would say the rhino.
- 1:19:24Speaker 7: I don't know that.
- 1:19:25Speaker 8: Okay.
- 1:19:25Speaker 5: Lion rhino would do two things to you, trample you
- 1:19:29Speaker 5: with his hord.
- 1:19:32Speaker 25: Okay, okay, okay, yeah, yeah, the lion would kill you
- 1:19:46Speaker 25: for real, Ianna.
- 1:19:48Speaker 9: Be run around throwing plants at the right.
- 1:19:50Speaker 13: All right, Would you rather have a headache every day
- 1:19:55Speaker 13: for the rest of your life?
- 1:19:56Speaker 11: Or would you rather have a cough every day for
- 1:19:58Speaker 11: the rest of your life?
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: Give me a headache?
- 1:20:07Speaker 5: Headache?
- 1:20:08Speaker 11: Yeah, for the rest of you.
- 1:20:09Speaker 14: You right to have a cough.
- 1:20:17Speaker 15: To get rid of the car?
- 1:20:19Speaker 11: How many talk chops? At least that's today's Would you rather?
- 1:20:26Speaker 11: We have me forty nine minutes after.
- 1:20:27Speaker 13: The hour, our last break of the day, and we'll
- 1:20:29Speaker 13: close out the show with the one and only Steve
- 1:20:31Speaker 13: Harvey right after this.
- 1:20:33Speaker 14: You're listening Morning show?
- 1:20:36Speaker 11: All right, guys, here we are our last break of
- 1:20:39Speaker 11: the day on this Thursday.
- 1:20:41Speaker 12: And Steve.
- 1:20:42Speaker 13: Before we get out of here, someone else needs some advice.
- 1:20:45Speaker 13: This is Craig from Facebook. Craig says, my girlfriend of
- 1:20:49Speaker 13: about six months works at a car dealership.
- 1:20:52Speaker 11: He needs your help.
- 1:20:52Speaker 13: He says, she works at a car dealership where her
- 1:20:55Speaker 13: former boyfriend is her manager. It bothers me that she's
- 1:20:59Speaker 13: with her day. I do pretty well, and we've talked
- 1:21:03Speaker 13: about her moving in with me. She only works part
- 1:21:06Speaker 13: time and doesn't make much money, and I could support
- 1:21:08Speaker 13: her until she finds something else. Would it be out
- 1:21:12Speaker 13: of line for me to ask her to quit her job?
- 1:21:14Speaker 14: Or is it over between us?
- 1:21:17Speaker 11: Or it's over between us?
- 1:21:18Speaker 6: So in other words, the months is too early for
- 1:21:21Speaker 6: I think six months, dog be honest, which is too
- 1:21:24Speaker 6: early to try to make this decision either way, I
- 1:21:27Speaker 6: just think it's rather soon.
- 1:21:28Speaker 5: What you jump in the gun for? What's the rush?
- 1:21:31Speaker 6: I don't understand why people put themselves under such pressure,
- 1:21:35Speaker 6: you know, and all it's here?
- 1:21:37Speaker 7: And then.
- 1:21:39Speaker 6: Do you want to move in with a person that
- 1:21:41Speaker 6: you're not committed to? Or will you want to move
- 1:21:46Speaker 6: in with a person that you don't know if they're
- 1:21:48Speaker 6: committed to you see? And a lot of times what
- 1:21:52Speaker 6: you try to do is I'm going to offer her
- 1:21:53Speaker 6: to move in me so I can get her away
- 1:21:55Speaker 6: from him.
- 1:21:56Speaker 5: That ain't no.
- 1:21:56Speaker 6: Reason to live with nobody, though, because that's gonna wear
- 1:22:00Speaker 6: off so fast as fast, so I would reconsider this
- 1:22:04Speaker 6: whole thing. Why don't you just date it for a
- 1:22:06Speaker 6: while so you can become a little bit more sure.
- 1:22:09Speaker 6: Don't be insecure about something and may make a decision
- 1:22:13Speaker 6: based on your insecurity. That doesn't make any sense because
- 1:22:18Speaker 6: now you ch you putting good money after bad. You're
- 1:22:23Speaker 6: chasing something that you might not need to chase. That's
- 1:22:27Speaker 6: my suggestion to you.
- 1:22:28Speaker 5: Just slow down.
- 1:22:29Speaker 6: Man's just six months. Damn yeah, support her six months.
- 1:22:36Speaker 6: But you're talking about taking care of somebody for six months.
- 1:22:38Speaker 6: You know what that's This is supposed to be a
- 1:22:40Speaker 6: lifetime commitment.
- 1:22:43Speaker 26: You ain't.
- 1:22:44Speaker 6: You ain't knowing her for six months. Now, if that's
- 1:22:47Speaker 6: what you're gonna do, if you're gonna ask her to man,
- 1:22:49Speaker 6: you go ahead. If y'all in love, hm.
- 1:22:52Speaker 13: I like the answer, and you would have told a
- 1:22:54Speaker 13: woman the same thing. That's a good answer to you.
- 1:22:57Speaker 5: Yes, I don't. I don't understand this.
- 1:23:00Speaker 11: He wants her to quit her job or it's over
- 1:23:02Speaker 11: between them. That's an ultimatum.
- 1:23:08Speaker 6: Because he's trying to control too many parts of a
- 1:23:12Speaker 6: situation that he really don't have control over it. You
- 1:23:16Speaker 6: asking her to quit your job so she don't be
- 1:23:19Speaker 6: working under her ex who is her boss. That solves
- 1:23:24Speaker 6: that problem, but you've created another problem. She already part time.
- 1:23:30Speaker 6: Now she finna be at no time. Now she ain't
- 1:23:34Speaker 6: under him no more, but now she under you, and
- 1:23:39Speaker 6: you keep putting this woman in a precarious position where
- 1:23:42Speaker 6: now you think she's beholding to her old boss, and
- 1:23:45Speaker 6: now she's gonna be beholden to you.
- 1:23:50Speaker 5: I don't see it.
- 1:23:50Speaker 6: Not a good look, which leads me to my closing
- 1:23:55Speaker 6: remarks today. You know, man, I think people have to
- 1:24:02Speaker 6: start doing this. And this is based off this letter
- 1:24:05Speaker 6: that you just read to me, this request off Facebook.
- 1:24:09Speaker 6: I want everybody to start thinking like this because I
- 1:24:11Speaker 6: haven't always thought like that and it's cost me dearly
- 1:24:15Speaker 6: in my life.
- 1:24:17Speaker 5: But I want you to know that every single thing,
- 1:24:23Speaker 5: you know, it begins in high school.
- 1:24:26Speaker 6: You remember, like, you know, you could get a grade
- 1:24:28Speaker 6: in the fourth grade and it didn't affect the fifth grade.
- 1:24:30Speaker 26: You get the clean slate, and then you go to
- 1:24:33Speaker 26: the third grade and you get a clean slate. If
- 1:24:35Speaker 26: you go to the fourth grade. Well, once you get
- 1:24:37Speaker 26: to high school, you know, it starts accumulating. You know,
- 1:24:42Speaker 26: you get a GPA average, you get stuff that starts
- 1:24:45Speaker 26: going towards college credits. That's the beginning of life training
- 1:24:49Speaker 26: for you. And what you end up winding up understanding.
- 1:24:52Speaker 6: About life is this is that every decision you make
- 1:24:56Speaker 6: today will affect your tomorrow and you gotta start thinking
- 1:25:02Speaker 6: like that.
- 1:25:03Speaker 5: But Sue, too many people live in the now. Too
- 1:25:07Speaker 5: many people want to do what.
- 1:25:09Speaker 6: Feels right and good to them today with no thought
- 1:25:14Speaker 6: about the consequences of tomorrow. Now, are you supposed to
- 1:25:19Speaker 6: worry about tomorrow? No, you're not supposed to do that.
- 1:25:23Speaker 6: But you are supposed to prepare in the event that
- 1:25:27Speaker 6: you are here. That's what plans and dreams and visions
- 1:25:32Speaker 6: are for. It's for you planning in the hopes that
- 1:25:38Speaker 6: tomorrow does come. So what we got to start doing,
- 1:25:43Speaker 6: is what I suggest to people more often, is start
- 1:25:47Speaker 6: thinking more about today a little bit more carefully, because
- 1:25:51Speaker 6: it ain't just today, because tomorrow may very well come.
- 1:25:56Speaker 6: Everything you do today will affe affect your tomorrow. Well,
- 1:26:03Speaker 6: I man, I'm just gonna call the in to day.
- 1:26:05Speaker 6: I ain't going down there to day. I don't feel
- 1:26:07Speaker 6: like it, man, I'm gone and chill today. Ah, you
- 1:26:10Speaker 6: having a nice, chill day. Everything go good?
- 1:26:14Speaker 5: All right?
- 1:26:15Speaker 6: Guess what next Friday when your check come out and
- 1:26:20Speaker 6: that cooled out, chill out day you took has caused
- 1:26:23Speaker 6: you to lose a day's pay. Now, here's some consequences
