- 2:04Speaker 1: A good morning everybody. Y'are listening to the voice. Come
- 2:08Speaker 1: on now, did me if you will? One and only
- 2:11Speaker 1: Steve Harvey got radio show. Okay, sure, be honest with y'all.
- 2:19Speaker 1: Was rushing, rushing this morning. So but that's what it takes.
- 2:25Speaker 1: Sometimes sometimes you have to put forth a different kind
- 2:30Speaker 1: of effort, you know. One of the things about being successful.
- 2:36Speaker 1: And I was sharing this just the other day with
- 2:39Speaker 1: a young man and he asked me. He said, hey, man,
- 2:46Speaker 1: I just don't see how you get up that early
- 2:49Speaker 1: in the morning. I just don't see how man, it
- 2:52Speaker 1: would it would kill me to get up this early
- 2:55Speaker 1: in the morning. Well, I sat there and I'm listening
- 2:58Speaker 1: to it because it's just a thou sometimes I've heard it,
- 3:01Speaker 1: you know, and my life is, you know, not too
- 3:04Speaker 1: different from a lot of people's lives. There's a lot
- 3:06Speaker 1: of people out there to rise early. And I guess
- 3:10Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't know what he wanted from
- 3:11Speaker 1: me or how he wanted me to take what he said.
- 3:14Speaker 1: But I just sat there, you know, just indifferent to
- 3:16Speaker 1: the tones because I've heard it so many times. I
- 3:18Speaker 1: don't know how you get up that early anymore. I
- 3:20Speaker 1: don't know how you do all them jobs. And I
- 3:22Speaker 1: just sit there, man, because I first of all, I'm
- 3:25Speaker 1: grateful to be able to have a job. I'm so
- 3:28Speaker 1: grateful to be able to do one and several that
- 3:31Speaker 1: I happened to enjoy doing. I mean, you know, it's work,
- 3:34Speaker 1: and it's difficult at times, but it's I mean, you
- 3:37Speaker 1: know I wanted this. You know, you gotta you know,
- 3:40Speaker 1: you can't ask God and then he give it to you.
- 3:42Speaker 1: Didn't be mad that you got it. Don't make no sense.
- 3:44Speaker 1: You know you're asking for something, me give it to you.
- 3:47Speaker 1: The problem with asking God for stuff is a lot
- 3:50Speaker 1: of times we're asking for stuff we don't really know
- 3:52Speaker 1: what all it encompasses, what all it really is. And
- 3:55Speaker 1: I asked for this. Now along the way I've gotten
- 3:58Speaker 1: far more than I asked or I want you to do.
- 4:01Speaker 1: Understand that, and um, you know that's that's his grace
- 4:05Speaker 1: at work in my life. But I get up early
- 4:08Speaker 1: and I go to work because I do understand something
- 4:11Speaker 1: that it is not walking up to you. Nobody walks
- 4:15Speaker 1: up to people normally and just hand them checks all
- 4:18Speaker 1: the time, and enough checks to sustain your life, and
- 4:22Speaker 1: not only sustain it, but to have a life that
- 4:24Speaker 1: where you could enjoy and do some of the things
- 4:27Speaker 1: you want to do. That's I don't know the person
- 4:30Speaker 1: that walks out hands out that money just to be
- 4:32Speaker 1: doing it. And then with a lifestyle though, where you
- 4:36Speaker 1: can you know, give your kids a Christmas, you know,
- 4:39Speaker 1: take your family on vacation, you know, a year once
- 4:41Speaker 1: a year. I don't know, nobody passed not to kind
- 4:43Speaker 1: of money. So I get up early in the morning.
- 4:45Speaker 1: I get at it. I was taught to get up
- 4:48Speaker 1: early in the morning by my father because my father says,
- 4:54Speaker 1: ain't none gonna come to you, Why are you laying there?
- 4:57Speaker 1: And you know what, It's just true, man, it's just
- 5:00Speaker 1: little common sense. Love old people smart man, they've been
- 5:02Speaker 1: around long time. You don't get you know, some old
- 5:05Speaker 1: foods out there, but you know you don't have to
- 5:06Speaker 1: deal with them. But the old people are pretty smart man.
- 5:09Speaker 1: They've learned a lot along the way. And waking up
- 5:12Speaker 1: early and getting out of it is one of them things.
- 5:13Speaker 1: And I ask everybody man to think about this scenario
- 5:17Speaker 1: of your life. I just want you to just I
- 5:18Speaker 1: want to show you some numbers. If a day has
- 5:21Speaker 1: twenty four hours in it, and let's just say you
- 5:25Speaker 1: choose to sleep eight of those hours because they tell
- 5:30Speaker 1: you you need eight hours sleep, so you sleep eight hours,
- 5:34Speaker 1: that's a third of your life asleep. Already, just a
- 5:38Speaker 1: third of your life is spent asleep. If you're gonna
- 5:41Speaker 1: do eight hours a day, you understand that a third
- 5:45Speaker 1: of your life is spent asleep. Now, let's say you
- 5:49Speaker 1: have a job that you work eight hours, and it's
- 5:52Speaker 1: not the job of your dreams. It's not your dream career,
- 5:55Speaker 1: your dream profession. It's just the one you took, like
- 5:58Speaker 1: all of us, to get its stalled it and then,
- 6:01Speaker 1: like all of us, some of us end up having
- 6:02Speaker 1: the state there because we've created these bills, and we
- 6:05Speaker 1: can't because we check the check. So we can't leave
- 6:07Speaker 1: it because we'll lose what what we've worked for. So
- 6:11Speaker 1: let's just say you got a job that you go
- 6:13Speaker 1: to work too for eight hours. That's another third of
- 6:17Speaker 1: your life. That's two thirds of your life spent doing something.
- 6:25Speaker 1: How do I put this to you? Oh, let's all right,
- 6:29Speaker 1: like Steve, just leave it. That that's two thirds of
- 6:32Speaker 1: your life. Feel how you want to feel about your
- 6:34Speaker 1: two thirds when I like sleep? Okay, cool, that's a
- 6:37Speaker 1: scripture about that too. But now you spent two thirds
- 6:40Speaker 1: of your life one on a job you don't care
- 6:42Speaker 1: for if you're not happy there, or one that just
- 6:44Speaker 1: pays the bills and it's not your dream job of career.
- 6:46Speaker 1: Another third of your life is sleep. Oh now, let's
- 6:49Speaker 1: hold on. Let's talk about the one hour of preparation
- 6:52Speaker 1: that it may take to get to the job. Let's
- 6:55Speaker 1: just say you wake up, you know, brush your teeth, shower,
- 6:58Speaker 1: or have a little breakfast, get dressed. Let's just say
- 7:01Speaker 1: that's an hour. So now we're talking sixteen hours, eight
- 7:05Speaker 1: hours sleep, eight hours on your job. That's sixteen hours
- 7:08Speaker 1: you got already time one hour. That's seventeen hours. Let's
- 7:14Speaker 1: say your drive time, let's say getting to your job,
- 7:17Speaker 1: for the average person, is anywhere between thirty two an hour.
- 7:21Speaker 1: That's an average of what it takes the average person.
- 7:23Speaker 1: Now some people out there hustling the way harder than that,
- 7:26Speaker 1: but let's just say your average is an hour getting
- 7:29Speaker 1: to work. You had another hour to that going to work.
- 7:32Speaker 1: You've now spent eighteen hours out of the twenty four
- 7:37Speaker 1: doing something that's either nonproductive, you're not happy with, you're
- 7:44Speaker 1: not pleased about. It's not your dream job, it's not
- 7:47Speaker 1: your dream profession. And the rest of the time you sleep.
- 7:49Speaker 1: Eighteen hours. That's going to work. Now you gotta come
- 7:53Speaker 1: from the job, so let's just say it's another hour
- 7:56Speaker 1: to get back home. That's nineteen hours. Nineteen hours out
- 7:58Speaker 1: of a twenty four hour. A third of it you've
- 8:01Speaker 1: been asleep. A third of it you've been on the
- 8:03Speaker 1: job that you're not happy with. You took an hour
- 8:05Speaker 1: to get ready to go to the job that you're
- 8:07Speaker 1: not happy with. That you've just been a third of
- 8:08Speaker 1: your life sleeping to get ready for. You spend an
- 8:11Speaker 1: hour getting there, and you spend an hour getting back
- 8:13Speaker 1: that's nineteen hours out of twenty four hours. You now
- 8:15Speaker 1: have five hours left in your day. Oh you watch
- 8:19Speaker 1: TV two times, two hours a day. Okay, excuse me.
- 8:23Speaker 1: Let's put now you put two hours of TV on
- 8:25Speaker 1: that you've just been twenty one. You now have three
- 8:28Speaker 1: hours in the day to do something super productive for
- 8:34Speaker 1: the development of yourself and the future of your family,
- 8:38Speaker 1: and your future as a person and what you can
- 8:40Speaker 1: provide for your family. Oh, I need to chill. I
- 8:47Speaker 1: need to smoke one. Oh I needed some time it happy.
- 8:51Speaker 1: How seemed like all I do is dry to work
- 8:54Speaker 1: and go to work. I'm gonna go out with the
- 8:56Speaker 1: fellas drink one. Okay, Let's say you spend two hours
- 9:01Speaker 1: at Happy I nobody go to a Happy Hours just
- 9:03Speaker 1: for a hour. Let's say he's been two hours at
- 9:06Speaker 1: Happy all smoking awesome video games and throw that in there.
- 9:09Speaker 1: Two hours of smoking, chilling, reading the paper, video games.
- 9:13Speaker 1: That's twenty three hours of your day going. Don't you
- 9:16Speaker 1: see how your day slips away from you? So why
- 9:20Speaker 1: would you get up early? You get up early to
- 9:23Speaker 1: get a jump, You get up early to produce, to plan,
- 9:28Speaker 1: to become productive. You get up early in the morning
- 9:31Speaker 1: to care about every single minute of your day. You
- 9:34Speaker 1: wake up early in the morning because you have a plan,
- 9:38Speaker 1: a mission, You have something you want to accomplish, So
- 9:41Speaker 1: you wake up early, and you as the earlier you
- 9:44Speaker 1: get up, the more time you have just for you
- 9:46Speaker 1: to devote to your plan. You map it out, you
- 9:49Speaker 1: make some sense, some emails, you do some Google searches,
- 9:53Speaker 1: whatever it is you need to do to get your
- 9:55Speaker 1: dream under way. Then you go get ready, Then you
- 10:00Speaker 1: it in your car, go to work. Then you go
- 10:02Speaker 1: to your job. But on your job, instead of sitting
- 10:04Speaker 1: at your lunch break messing around with a bunch of
- 10:07Speaker 1: people laughing and talking about nothing, playing dominoes, why don't
- 10:10Speaker 1: you take that hour to do some more research, to
- 10:12Speaker 1: do some more Google it, to send out some more emails,
- 10:16Speaker 1: to put some feelers out there, to see what can
- 10:19Speaker 1: get you in the place that you want to be.
- 10:21Speaker 1: Then when you get off, instead of driving straight home,
- 10:24Speaker 1: why don't you go somewhere in a meeting, you know,
- 10:27Speaker 1: take in a session with some people in a positive
- 10:29Speaker 1: mental state. Some people are doing you know, self help
- 10:32Speaker 1: groups or group of people that get together network for business.
- 10:35Speaker 1: Why don't you take that two hours and devote that
- 10:38Speaker 1: to that business idea. You got. No human being has
- 10:42Speaker 1: more than twenty four hours a day, including myself, But
- 10:46Speaker 1: if you care about every single minute of that day,
- 10:50Speaker 1: you'd be amazed at how much you could get accomplished
- 10:53Speaker 1: in a twenty four hour day. But you can't get
- 10:56Speaker 1: none of that happening because you sleep. You're listening. She's
- 11:00Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Ladies and gentlemen, barns and girls,
- 11:06Speaker 1: animal trainers, squarel owners, those who have gerbils, animals, dog catches,
- 11:21Speaker 1: people who build and make bad traps. We are here.
- 11:26Speaker 1: This is the Steve Harvey Morning Show. We make bad traps.

- 11:35Speaker 1: started making them their bad traps for bears. George Wallace, Mama,
- 11:41Speaker 1: you mean pretty early for that one. She's pretty fish.
- 11:50Speaker 1: Get on that out, have your attention, please. One who
- 12:00Speaker 1: has ever thought of possum was in a vehicle. Let
- 12:04Speaker 1: me have that. Welco to the Steve Harvey Morning Show,
- 12:13Speaker 1: live in living color, vivid all the way from out
- 12:17Speaker 1: West Clean Cross to Becky Levity Enjoyment. Surely, what's some
- 12:28Speaker 1: color hate, what's some crew? Hey? I'm like you know
- 12:35Speaker 1: I don't live that over here. It was. It was
- 12:41Speaker 1: really really but a very obscure reference that did not
- 12:48Speaker 1: was not a live to nobody whom the other comedians
- 12:51Speaker 1: set here was talking about, Oh we've been in bedtrack.
- 12:55Speaker 1: What bad George Wallace mama boy and he just worked
- 13:05Speaker 1: with George w y Man. But my mama joke like
- 13:12Speaker 1: that to me and I it was not your mama.

- 13:23Speaker 1: Everybody food number one, Yes, sir, Top of the Morning,
- 13:28Speaker 1: Top top top. We had to say nothing to the
- 13:31Speaker 1: other one. We know he got in the show. Anybody
- 13:36Speaker 1: man asked him nothing and he had to about You
- 13:40Speaker 1: knew this when you hired him, though one. You know,
- 13:47Speaker 1: so you can't know the actual range. Yeah, over natural
- 13:53Speaker 1: born food. You can't know because I started myself sometime. Yeah,
- 13:57Speaker 1: I was gonna tase. We've learned that. You that's true.
- 14:02Speaker 1: The range in which we can go is just it's
- 14:05Speaker 1: it's emmits man, it's it's I've gotten in so trouble
- 14:15Speaker 1: with people, cities, whole damn country, with man at me
- 14:20Speaker 1: and little people. It doesn't matter. Ain't got man more.
- 14:26Speaker 1: You can't tell a joke. No more time to go
- 14:35Speaker 1: to break and when we come back, Steve something funny.

- 14:42Speaker 1: for something funny. Jay or excuse me, Reverend ad Noid,
- 14:48Speaker 1: Reverend Adnoid. Let's do the call and response and explain
- 14:51Speaker 1: that again what we do, what we do. We preach
- 14:56Speaker 1: it today. Okay, because we do. You need a respirator.
- 15:02Speaker 1: Everything the sound clumped up to you what vix, vapor,
- 15:08Speaker 1: rubb and all of that. Just to the restork none
- 15:14Speaker 1: of networks, none of networks. We were gonna be reading
- 15:17Speaker 1: a sermon today. We'll be reading from the Book of
- 15:20Speaker 1: Gap with little start up from the Gap Man Get Band,
- 15:25Speaker 1: Get Band texted beginning complaints from some of the younger
- 15:28Speaker 1: members that the sermons have been a little old, outdated.
- 15:35Speaker 1: So we go do is go mix Gap with the
- 15:38Speaker 1: Book of Riata. Okay, start us from the Book of
- 15:43Speaker 1: Gap and they will go into I'm fun. Oh, I'm okay,
- 15:53Speaker 1: I'm fun. Little start from the Book of Gap. And
- 16:01Speaker 1: to hear him when he says no, no, no, no, no,
- 16:04Speaker 1: no no no no, sure, I'm cutting you off. I
- 16:09Speaker 1: wish I had some help today okay, yes, lord a men,
- 16:13Speaker 1: go right there anyway, We're gonna right the Book of Gap, okay,
- 16:21Speaker 1: and then we'll go in keep the Book o Rihanna. Dude,
- 16:30Speaker 1: color response. You need some vix all over your face
- 16:34Speaker 1: and your chick sound weird? Yeah, right ahead, okay. Started
- 16:42Speaker 1: from the Book of Gap into the book right ahead.
- 16:47Speaker 1: Read it ooops upside your head, say oh, blow it down.
- 16:50Speaker 1: First of all, yeah, I'm sorry, it's all right. Say
- 16:57Speaker 1: oops outside your head, say oops upside your hand. To
- 17:02Speaker 1: read that again, because those are great words. Did you
- 17:05Speaker 1: see what you said there? Oops? Upside your heads up? Oh,
- 17:11Speaker 1: I wish I had some help. You better preach, Reverend Nor,
- 17:18Speaker 1: you better preach. Say it again, read say oops upside
- 17:22Speaker 1: your head said oops, upside your heads upside your head.
- 17:29Speaker 1: That's great text right there, that's great text right now.
- 17:33Speaker 1: Couldn't you just switch it up to the Book of Rihanna.
- 17:36Speaker 1: Go up to the Book of Rihanna. And you got me?
- 17:41Speaker 1: Let go? You got me, let go? What do you
- 17:44Speaker 1: want from me? What do you want from me? If
- 17:49Speaker 1: I had a crowded head of some people to preach to,
- 17:56Speaker 1: Oh my God, stay with me, stay with trust me,
- 18:01Speaker 1: trust me. I'm going somewhere with it. May look like
- 18:06Speaker 1: I'm not going nowhere, but I'm going somewhere with us.
- 18:10Speaker 1: Go right ahead and read that over again. And you
- 18:14Speaker 1: got me, and you got me let go, you got me,
- 18:19Speaker 1: let go. She said you got me, not let do,
- 18:22Speaker 1: meaning you had me, but left meaning to take the
- 18:26Speaker 1: word go from you got me, you don't have me
- 18:30Speaker 1: no more. Oh hit the mic. So how does my
- 18:38Speaker 1: upside the head go with that? Because I'm reading texts
- 18:42Speaker 1: for the younger and the older, all to bring the
- 18:47Speaker 1: chick the Book of Rihanna, sir, and I tried to
- 18:57Speaker 1: buy your pretty heart, but the price too high. Well,
- 19:01Speaker 1: try to buy you're pretty hot. Price is too meaning
- 19:06Speaker 1: he can't do it? Amen? Amen, Amen, Amen, go right there? Amen,
- 19:12Speaker 1: right there? Did the church just put it? Amen? Right there? Amen? Right.
- 19:18Speaker 1: I wish I had some help to follow me. I'm
- 19:22Speaker 1: following me, follow me. I'm going somewhere. I'm gonna towel
- 19:26Speaker 1: us upthing together. Okay, I'm gonna tell it's something together.
- 19:29Speaker 1: You know it looks loose right now, it seems all yeah,
- 19:38Speaker 1: but it's going somewhere. Alright, Baby you got me, like,
- 19:42Speaker 1: oh baby, you got me lego did you swallow your tongue?
- 19:51Speaker 1: What was that? Hello the moment? This is such a
- 20:00Speaker 1: for text. It makes me baby, you got me like, Oh,
- 20:05Speaker 1: keep going, I know I pay the man. You love
- 20:15Speaker 1: when I fall apart. You love when I fall apart,
- 20:19Speaker 1: fall apart. You love when I fall apart, when I
- 20:21Speaker 1: don't have it together. You love that when I'm not together.
- 20:27Speaker 1: You love when I fall apart. And then we go
- 20:29Speaker 1: back up to the top again. And you got me.
- 20:31Speaker 1: You let me go, and you look when I fall apart.
- 20:35Speaker 1: You see what I want? I can you drop the
- 20:44Speaker 1: text down? Someone? Go down and deep into the deep
- 20:47Speaker 1: into the message. Read down deep into the uh say
- 20:51Speaker 1: oops upside your head, oops up back to the older
- 20:54Speaker 1: people in the whoops upside the head. Now I want
- 20:58Speaker 1: all you gappers apple and finger snappers, finger snappers and
- 21:03Speaker 1: you toe tapper and love rappers. I need to just
- 21:07Speaker 1: wrap it up right there. I'm done. Yeah, you read it,
- 21:13Speaker 1: close it again. I'll read it again. Okay. Now I
- 21:16Speaker 1: want all you gapers, gapper and finger close this thing.
- 21:20Speaker 1: Read now. I want all you want. I want you
- 21:24Speaker 1: to read it and didn't close it all up. Now
- 21:30Speaker 1: I want all your gappers and finger snappers, your toe tappers,
- 21:33Speaker 1: and you love rappers. That is a powerful message. Enjoy
- 21:37Speaker 1: your day, make something of yourself. All right, run that
- 21:46Speaker 1: brankback with the nephew coming up. You're listening to the
- 21:50Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Come on, nephew, it is time
- 21:53Speaker 1: for you to run that prank back fairly. This is
- 21:57Speaker 1: one of the greatest ones of all time. Really well,
- 22:01Speaker 1: when the nephew Frank's his uncle Steve's this show is ignorant.
- 22:11Speaker 1: He's still like a pastor. Here you go. So what
- 22:16Speaker 1: did you saying. I'm saying to you. Did he chelling
- 22:19Speaker 1: on everybody? He's chicking. Ain't got nothing to do with me, man,
- 22:22Speaker 1: That ain't my book. That's his damn book. Put him
- 22:24Speaker 1: on the phone next I can tell him I don't
- 22:26Speaker 1: always stand to Steve. He ain't writing about you. Ain't
- 22:30Speaker 1: even tall on me, even tall on my boys. He's
- 22:33Speaker 1: telling on everybody. Man. He goes this book. Ain't got
- 22:36Speaker 1: nothing to do with you, man, No, nobody's book. Dud
- 22:38Speaker 1: got something to do with me. Because everything to stay
- 22:41Speaker 1: then run us. He was growing up from the hood
- 22:43Speaker 1: telling on everybody, and I'm tired of this. He ought
- 22:46Speaker 1: to go somewhere and sit down. Dog dog, you gotta

- 30:26Speaker 1: you man. Okay, all right, well, all in a day's work. Hey,
- 30:33Speaker 1: that's what it is. I can't believe you didn't know
- 30:35Speaker 1: some of this stuff when you hired. You're listening to
- 30:39Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Most of our listeners are
- 30:44Speaker 1: at work right now, guys. And guess what what? Job
- 30:48Speaker 1: interviews are useless? Uh? This is according to a new study,
- 30:52Speaker 1: job interviews are useless. We've all gone through job interviews.
- 30:56Speaker 1: This one you just called me. Well, it's a good
- 31:06Speaker 1: thing because it would have been it would have been
- 31:13Speaker 1: qualifications job interviewed news. According to a new new survey
- 31:22Speaker 1: and a new study, job interviews are useless, especially if
- 31:26Speaker 1: those job interviews are free form recent and ours would
- 31:30Speaker 1: be free form. On this particular job, researchers found that
- 31:33Speaker 1: people have too much confidence in their ability to make
- 31:37Speaker 1: accurate judgments from face to face conversations. Now. Because of this,
- 31:41Speaker 1: interviewers ignore other important important information, such as the past
- 31:46Speaker 1: job performance or of an applicant and other job related
- 31:50Speaker 1: skills the applicant might have instead, they allow themselves to
- 31:53Speaker 1: be charmed into hiring the wrong person. So Steve Jr.
- 31:58Speaker 1: Jay Tommy, Uh, about your first not this job interview,
- 32:02Speaker 1: but tell us about your first job interview. Oh, I
- 32:05Speaker 1: had a job one time. This true story. I'm gonna
- 32:07Speaker 1: make up some other stuff later on, but this right
- 32:11Speaker 1: here is true. I had a job. I was very tiny,
- 32:15Speaker 1: head of the boy and small, and I had a
- 32:16Speaker 1: job at the car wash and the car shells place.
- 32:19Speaker 1: And I would set back the speedominans, you know, so
- 32:22Speaker 1: so it looked like it was a new car, you know,
- 32:24Speaker 1: like it was three thousand miles. I said it back
- 32:27Speaker 1: to like a thousand miles. And I didn't have the
- 32:30Speaker 1: interview for that, just because I could fit my ass
- 32:32Speaker 1: up under the dashboard. And then I was turning back
- 32:36Speaker 1: and I was, you know, I got so fat I
- 32:38Speaker 1: couldn't get up under the and I lost that job.
- 32:40Speaker 1: I didn't last that long. Get somebody else, yeah, get
- 32:45Speaker 1: somebody to sit back. I was an old, dominant set back.
- 33:02Speaker 1: I know you have a story about interviews. Yes, I
- 33:07Speaker 1: know you do. I was an interview one time for
- 33:10Speaker 1: this job after I got laid off at Forward. It
- 33:14Speaker 1: wasn't that good a job. I just needed work, man,
- 33:17Speaker 1: I just needed some work. And I'm sitting in this
- 33:20Speaker 1: interview at a insurance company. But it was a debit
- 33:24Speaker 1: insurance company. I ended up working for Commonwealth, but I
- 33:27Speaker 1: interviewed for another on a competitor, and it was just
- 33:30Speaker 1: real rank. Debit insurance companies is rank. It's nothing but
- 33:33Speaker 1: a rip off. And I'm sitting down an interviewing. This
- 33:35Speaker 1: fat dude is interviewing me. And I got my little
- 33:38Speaker 1: suit on. I'd impressed it out nice and everything. So
- 33:41Speaker 1: he says, uh, so tell me why I should hire you?
- 33:45Speaker 1: And you know, I was so. I just my third
- 33:47Speaker 1: interview with this ragging as company and it was kind
- 33:51Speaker 1: of pissing me off, you know, so he said, so
- 33:54Speaker 1: tell me why shout high you. I say, I'm about
- 33:58Speaker 1: as good. I'm really so to tell you truth, I'm
- 34:00Speaker 1: I'm about as good as anything sitting in here right now. Okay,
- 34:06Speaker 1: I don't see nobody around here that I think could
- 34:08Speaker 1: outsail me or anything. He said, You're just basing that
- 34:12Speaker 1: on the way people appear. I said, noncious, how I
- 34:15Speaker 1: feel about myself? He said, so do you think you
- 34:18Speaker 1: could outsail me? Asked when the interview didn't do Yeah,
- 34:27Speaker 1: I don't really see you beating me doing nothing. My boss,
- 34:32Speaker 1: he said, he said, I think you should leave this
- 34:35Speaker 1: interview because there's no way with high a person is
- 34:38Speaker 1: arrogantly said, man, you're fat. You know the word fat.
- 34:45Speaker 1: Bestard blows anything. Nobody was just in your eyes. Nobody, nobody.
- 34:56Speaker 1: I'm not getting a job. Three times right coming? Oh okay, nephew.
- 35:08Speaker 1: I interviewed to be a bouncer at a strip c
- 35:12Speaker 1: what hey, hey, hey man, I'm going to the bathroom.
- 35:17Speaker 1: I'm not gonna sit here your little hot but I
- 35:21Speaker 1: needed your money. I needed the money. I ain't never
- 35:25Speaker 1: had a muscle in your chest. You know, young Ago
- 35:32Speaker 1: show that is gonna bend you can. Stripper is bigger.
- 35:38Speaker 1: I got in two days the strip class scripple whoop,
- 35:50Speaker 1: And I lied to you that I picked up some
- 35:53Speaker 1: money off the flow and I was gonna give it
- 35:55Speaker 1: to it. She thought I was taking her money. And
- 35:57Speaker 1: I got my brother whooping some male stream club that
- 36:05Speaker 1: get of diamond, diamond. This is every day, every day
- 36:12Speaker 1: day you got all smelling like victory. I was cold
- 36:24Speaker 1: and interviewed on ja like peach. But can you stand yeah, man, yeah,
- 36:39Speaker 1: you've been in any fights before. I'm like, yeah, y'all
- 36:41Speaker 1: handle myself. Man, they too, man, she thought, Wait with
- 36:48Speaker 1: thirty dollars. Oh, I never had a job interview. I
- 36:55Speaker 1: had laid. My first job, though, was laying palettes of
- 36:59Speaker 1: gray yawns. I quit the same day. Have you ever
- 37:07Speaker 1: laid palace of y'all? No, I can't say that I
- 37:10Speaker 1: have bring it. Oh my gosh, I let him Heaven.
- 37:15Speaker 1: I was sixteen. I let him had that. No, no, no, nothing,
- 37:18Speaker 1: you know what it is. I actually gonna tell yaws

- 53:28Speaker 1: shut your damn all right, thank you, nev listen to this.
- 53:40Speaker 1: According to a new study, men who consume too much sugar,
- 53:44Speaker 1: especially from sweet drinks and snacks, are more likely to
- 53:50Speaker 1: develop depression or anxiety. The researchers also found that women
- 53:56Speaker 1: are not at all affected in this way by overdosing
- 53:58Speaker 1: on sugar. I really have cutback on sugar. But that
- 54:03Speaker 1: does not mean no, I'm a diabetic. I have to.
- 54:06Speaker 1: But they'll dive into eat a lot of sugar. But
- 54:08Speaker 1: I'm not. I'm not a sugar dad. I'm gonna splend dad.
- 54:13Speaker 1: That's the sugar daddy with diabetes. Be known what I am.

- 54:39Speaker 1: You know? You know what we need to give Americans
- 54:41Speaker 1: to people who are gonna get to give. They don't
- 54:42Speaker 1: want to fix your face when you open it, play
- 54:47Speaker 1: it off. That's you happy tickets from your kids and
- 54:52Speaker 1: bless their hard that's all the money they had. All right,
- 54:56Speaker 1: people doing the best they can for you. You're listening show,
- 55:03Speaker 1: buckle up hole, long takes or all baby letter twenty three,
- 55:07Speaker 1: thank you telling me subject saying daughter with an insane mother. Hey, everybody,
- 55:14Speaker 1: I am having the most crazy time in my life.
- 55:18Speaker 1: My mother, who I love dearly, believes that everyone in
- 55:21Speaker 1: the household is putting root on her. Me personally, I
- 55:26Speaker 1: don't believe in the crap, and and I for darn
- 55:29Speaker 1: sure will not waste my hard earned money on such
- 55:32Speaker 1: hocus pocus. My mother has diabetes and eventually and evidently
- 55:36Speaker 1: a slight case of dementia. Most of this is coming
- 55:39Speaker 1: from her side of the family because they go to
- 55:42Speaker 1: root workers to get spells taken off them or to
- 55:46Speaker 1: cast some of their own. My father, my sister who recently,
- 55:51Speaker 1: my father, my sister who recently had an ic D defibrillator.
- 55:55Speaker 1: Um implanet myself and myself and myself so you can
- 56:03Speaker 1: read ignorant. Let me do it myself, Let me do
- 56:07Speaker 1: it right. They go to rude workers to get spaills,
- 56:10Speaker 1: taking off them all the cash, some of their own.
- 56:13Speaker 1: My father, my sister who recently had i c D
- 56:16Speaker 1: defibrillator put in their chest, myself and I me is
- 56:20Speaker 1: getting stressed out. That's how you got she met myself
- 56:23Speaker 1: and up okay, are getting stressed out. She don't know
- 56:26Speaker 1: how read people. I'm eager already know what she let
- 56:33Speaker 1: me finish the letter getting stressed out because my mom
- 56:37Speaker 1: is always accusing of harming her, such as making her sick,
- 56:41Speaker 1: taking her hair out, making her look like a man,
- 56:43Speaker 1: and so much other bull I tell her that she
- 56:46Speaker 1: needs to go to church and pray to God. Then
- 56:47Speaker 1: she says that it was God that told her that
- 56:50Speaker 1: we were putting the fix on her. I can't take
- 56:52Speaker 1: it anymore. What should I do? Sincerely, sane daughter with
- 56:56Speaker 1: an insane mother. I don't know anything about roots I've
- 56:59Speaker 1: heard about I don't know what it means anything. Uh,
- 57:02Speaker 1: you know your mom clearly needs to go to the
- 57:04Speaker 1: doctor and get checked out. Go ahead, I mean clearly
- 57:11Speaker 1: she needs help. With all due respect though, Yeah, she
- 57:15Speaker 1: needs to go to the doctor. Yeah, go ahead, I
- 57:20Speaker 1: have anything? Okay? Cool? I do see you said something
- 57:23Speaker 1: in the letter with all due respect, yeah, because it's
- 57:26Speaker 1: her mom. What is we're interjecting respect in this letter
- 57:29Speaker 1: for when it ain't nothing in the letter at all?
- 57:32Speaker 1: So I don't feel like this. Look, if you can
- 57:34Speaker 1: call your mama a root worker, then please let me
- 57:37Speaker 1: go on through the letter and discuss your mama freely.
- 57:40Speaker 1: This is really what it is. Your mama crazy and
- 57:44Speaker 1: a whole family crazy going to root workers. All right,
- 57:49Speaker 1: you're having the craziest time in your life because your mother,
- 57:52Speaker 1: who you love dearly bleeding. Everybody in the house is
- 57:56Speaker 1: putting route on it. For those of you that don't
- 57:57Speaker 1: know what that is, that's some ignorant sicisfici Louisiana mess
- 58:02Speaker 1: that people down south think that somebody can put a
- 58:05Speaker 1: spell on you roots. That could be voodoo. You can
- 58:08Speaker 1: go visit Voodoo Princess up on Route one. You can
- 58:12Speaker 1: go down there. You can do anything you can, but
- 58:13Speaker 1: you can't hear the bottom line. Like the lady said,
- 58:17Speaker 1: it's a bunch of hocus pokers. My mother has diabetes.
- 58:22Speaker 1: Here we go, your mama crazy and a whole family
- 58:26Speaker 1: crazy going to root workers. First, let's kick it in
- 58:31Speaker 1: with your mama sick. Throw in your mama ain't taking
- 58:35Speaker 1: her instantly, take it. Throw in your mama missed a
- 58:38Speaker 1: couple of shots. Taking in the fact that your mama
- 58:42Speaker 1: eating pine cake on a regular basis. All right, most
- 58:47Speaker 1: of this is coming from her side of the family
- 58:50Speaker 1: because they go to root workers. Okay, your mama crazy
- 58:55Speaker 1: and a whole family crazy going to root workers. That
- 58:59Speaker 1: means they go to people with with with animal items
- 59:04Speaker 1: around their neck, like chicken feed and stuff. This is
- 59:08Speaker 1: the this is elementary root working you're talking about. See
- 59:11Speaker 1: chicken feed is elementary. You got to have like a
- 59:15Speaker 1: hang like a piece of goose liver on your neck.
- 59:17Speaker 1: To get into the higher elevations of root work, you
- 59:20Speaker 1: gotta find a duck bill platypus. You know what that is.
- 59:24Speaker 1: That's an animal. You gotta get the foot of a
- 59:28Speaker 1: duck bill platypus to really be into elevated forms of roots.
- 59:32Speaker 1: You got a chicken foot. Anybody get a chicken for hell,
- 59:34Speaker 1: you might want to show up with a rabbit foot.
- 59:37Speaker 1: You got to get deep. You gotta get a chicken
- 59:40Speaker 1: or a duck head. This is how ignorant this letter is.
- 59:47Speaker 1: What you wanna do is like you don't care, like
- 59:49Speaker 1: a tip of a black cat tail on your neck
- 59:52Speaker 1: or something like I'm telling you stuff that if my father,
- 59:58Speaker 1: my sister who recently had an I C D defibrillator plan.
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: You know what defibrillator is. That's when like your heart
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: go out and they put them two things on e
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: something that clear how you do now, I don't know
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: how you can't pack that whole thing in your chest,
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: but obviously your family is battle then the average family.
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: Now you got only fat people that's got these two
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: things in their clear already we're dealing with something excess crazy.
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: My let my answer don't have to make sense because
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: the damn Okay, Now she gotta defibrillate the whole defibrillator
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: they cut in manibulances. They had this point it off
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: a chest that was really wrong. Overweight, fat route working
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: family then got a defibrillator, which really I think it
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: ain't a defifillating her fat behind. I think it's a refrigerator.
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: That's what's really in your fat family chest. A refrigerator
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: that ain't defibrillator. How you get that in your chest?
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: Old defimulator in your chest? I think she's mispelling it here,
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: just like she wrote all these bad words, and this
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: is your refrigerator in your fat mama chip. Then you
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: said accusing her of harming her, such as making her sick.
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: Your mama already got diabetes. It's that taking her hat out.
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: Listen to me. You know your half finning when you
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: get diabeting making her look like a man. I underlined
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: that ain't nobody to make your mama look like a man.
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: You know your mama looked crazy. I don't care you
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: wrote this letter. You know good way of your mama
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: looked crazy. My mama has never a date looked like
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: a man. She's been sick. My mom been down in
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: the out. I buried my mama. At no point did
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: my mama look like a man. Look, you're sitting up
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: in here trying you got your mama is actually mighty
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: Joe young, and you are trying to get her sick
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: behind away from workers. For those of you that don't
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: know what that is, that's some It didn't Mrs Tiffian
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: Louisiana mess that people down south think that somebody can
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: put a spell on you roots that could be voodoo.
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: You need to get your mama a mirror, because at
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: no point should your mama walk in the room and
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: look like a damn man. We need to stop this
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: right here, then, you say, and so much other bull
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: I'll tell her she needs to go to church and
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: pray to God. She do, but you need to go
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: down there with her because the next time your mama

- 1:25:15Speaker 1: a little loud. And you know, when you're tired, that
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: takes more energy. And I'm just talking about this policy.
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: And the guy got up and went somewhere and came back,
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: and that stopped my momentum. So when he came back
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: and he sat down, I was damn near gone. And
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: I looked at him and I was sitting there, man,
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: and I said, yeah, coming well, the couple was still
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: sitting there. That baby was fine. I don't know, man,

- 1:26:16Speaker 1: But I can't And when I owed my eyes, I
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: did not know who them to white people? Oh my god,
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: I didn't know. I said, it's just a hot situation.
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: Do they have me? They got the craziest son with
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: an apt somewhere, man. I got the looking around and

- 1:26:52Speaker 1: I said there. Man. The only thing that clued me
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: was I looked back down at my paperwork and it
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: said Commonwealth and surce let me know you're an insurance agent.
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: Because I thought it was a hostile situation. Hasn't many
- 1:27:09Speaker 1: white polking got me out? Woods man, I ain't got
- 1:27:12Speaker 1: no cell phone, you know, were no cellphones or nothing?

- 1:27:41Speaker 1: looked like they were real strong too, though. Man. Man,
- 1:27:45Speaker 1: I woke up. Man, I'm telling you, I swear to god,
- 1:27:47Speaker 1: I woke up. I did not know who them two
- 1:27:50Speaker 1: people was. So how did you get out for that?
- 1:27:53Speaker 1: How was time to go? Now you've been sleeping all time.
- 1:28:02Speaker 1: I'm assuming they didn't know, didn't do? Tell me what
- 1:28:09Speaker 1: you need to come back when you can stay awake?
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: Young man? Am I driving back out here? Now? Y'all
- 1:28:16Speaker 1: gonna be uninsured? Damn man, anybody's gonna have y'all die
- 1:28:20Speaker 1: to night. And I'm like, Donna know you were destined
- 1:28:23Speaker 1: to do what you're doing. Yeah, your show, I show
- 1:28:29Speaker 1: ain't gonna bring out no policy check out here. You're
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, I want
- 1:28:40Speaker 1: to ask you guys some questions. These are some questions,
- 1:28:43Speaker 1: uh that we found on reddit dot com. Steve, what
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: job do you have zero experience in but are confident
- 1:28:52Speaker 1: you could do successfully? President of United here, Well, I
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: could do it now. I used to didn't feel that
- 1:29:03Speaker 1: way when Obama was in. I didn't say I got
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: to do it at all. But now, man President, keep
- 1:29:12Speaker 1: going there right off the top of my head. And
- 1:29:14Speaker 1: then you didn't even make that in a question. I
- 1:29:16Speaker 1: love that. No, this is I don't need that in
- 1:29:20Speaker 1: I bet you I could do it. I can't do
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: it no worse. Damn. Now I'm gonna make some mistake,
- 1:29:28Speaker 1: But I take a couple of things I wouldn't have done,
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: Like I wouldn't have done the travel band. I ain't
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: saying nothing about sexuality in the military. Damn. I don't
- 1:29:39Speaker 1: give a damn who in that kid? Yeah, I don't.
- 1:29:43Speaker 1: And then I wouldn't have asked myself to come up
- 1:29:46Speaker 1: there in January if I knew I was gonna be
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: all type of huncle toms and coons. He told you
- 1:29:53Speaker 1: to stay. Hey, Yeah, I'd never asked. I asked to
- 1:29:57Speaker 1: come up there if I had what y'all was gonna
- 1:30:01Speaker 1: do to me, I just said to yourself. I called
- 1:30:08Speaker 1: the Obama transition team and everybody saying, hey, I'm not
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: I thought I'm being a good American. I got up there,
- 1:30:16Speaker 1: you got through with me. Actually, damn what I come
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: up I didn't know you. I thought I was doing
- 1:30:24Speaker 1: the right thing. I really feel in my heart I
- 1:30:25Speaker 1: did the right thing. But you know, after that, knowing
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: what I know now what you wouldn't asked you. I
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: wouldn't ask me to well, I was nephew cool after that,
- 1:30:37Speaker 1: I didn't asked a lot of people that come up there,
- 1:30:40Speaker 1: they don't went to President man, right. You know, people
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: don't even understand how God he don't even understand. He
- 1:30:54Speaker 1: takes what looks like your darkest moment, and if you
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: just keep the faith, he got something. All things work
- 1:31:02Speaker 1: for the good. Who love the Lord God? No, I
- 1:31:07Speaker 1: love it now. I ain't perfect, but I do love
- 1:31:09Speaker 1: him though, and he keeps showing up in my life, man,
- 1:31:12Speaker 1: just like you do yours. I mean, look at all
- 1:31:14Speaker 1: the wrong stuff you've been done, and then look at
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: where you at today. Now technically, we have no business
- 1:31:19Speaker 1: being here. Lord Lord ain't that. That's grace and we
- 1:31:24Speaker 1: all benefit from his grace. But we act like we don't.
- 1:31:26Speaker 1: But you know, didn't here come them hate us? Right?
- 1:31:30Speaker 1: All right? Here's another question, Steve, what item completely changed
- 1:31:35Speaker 1: your way of life after you found out about it?
- 1:31:38Speaker 1: That's a good question for you. Well, it wouldn't carry
- 1:31:41Speaker 1: on your nephew without it. Okay, one more time asking Okay,
- 1:31:52Speaker 1: what item completely changed your way of life after you
- 1:31:55Speaker 1: found out about it? Like that? Tom Thomas said. Thomas said,
- 1:32:03Speaker 1: I didn't say that was not Thomas said, I'm sorry
- 1:32:13Speaker 1: to see. But if you ever get some real cash
- 1:32:20Speaker 1: my third, maybe we'll continue this when we get that.
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Morning Show. We're back. We got
- 1:32:35Speaker 1: time for just one more thing. Uh. Some of these posters, man,
- 1:32:42Speaker 1: I think I think one of the biggest ones I've
- 1:32:44Speaker 1: seen you was right here on this show. One of
- 1:32:46Speaker 1: the biggest lies I've seen. I mean every time. And
- 1:32:50Speaker 1: I'm just gonna put him out there because every time
- 1:32:52Speaker 1: my dude put his call on the internet, it breaks.
- 1:32:56Speaker 1: You know. You keep putting on the broke cars on
- 1:32:58Speaker 1: the internet like they knew, and you just show the
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: front of him. Whyn't your umb hood and show these
- 1:33:03Speaker 1: engines man having the more trouble you call them broke
- 1:33:09Speaker 1: down three years then all my cars he ro Rose Roys.
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: They don't run, get runs. I just I didn't take
- 1:33:25Speaker 1: the time to learn how to drive it. There was
- 1:33:27Speaker 1: a lot of buttons on there. I was pushing that
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: I shouldn't have been. Boy, I didn't know what I
- 1:33:31Speaker 1: was doing. Okay, boys, I'm learning the vehicle. Now you
- 1:33:36Speaker 1: talk about nobody helping your ass be broke down on
- 1:33:39Speaker 1: the highway with a Rose Roys. Oh my god, they win.
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: That's good for you. That's yet some freeway. Ain't no
- 1:33:53Speaker 1: love broke down ropes. That was the timmy problem. Oh
- 1:33:58Speaker 1: I don't work, I don't worry all that money. Shout
- 1:34:05Speaker 1: a farther forward. That's not a good feeling, man, I'm taking.
- 1:34:15Speaker 1: I ran out of gas in my Rose Rush. It
- 1:34:17Speaker 1: was not a pretty day, pretty dangerous. I sat in
- 1:34:21Speaker 1: the trunk because that one about to see me. They
- 1:34:26Speaker 1: tell you that J Brown, you never get that true, true, true.
- 1:34:38Speaker 1: He was going to places there weren't rooms. You gotta
- 1:34:44Speaker 1: have a lifestyle, that life. Where were were you made
- 1:34:49Speaker 1: the decision I'm getting rid of this car. I think
- 1:34:51Speaker 1: when it when it? When I ran out of gas
- 1:34:52Speaker 1: on Crisshaw, right, I ran out of gas on cresy
- 1:34:55Speaker 1: Shaw and there's no I mean, Chrishall was a nice place,
- 1:34:58Speaker 1: but broke on rolls, rods and people like. I mean,
- 1:35:02Speaker 1: I got in the trunk. I just set up trunk
- 1:35:04Speaker 1: and when the people came with together, right, take this
- 1:35:17Speaker 1: card back? So what do you want to get? Dependingful
- 1:35:23Speaker 1: in the orange one? Tommy ain't like that though, Tommy,
- 1:35:31Speaker 1: now him. Tommy got all his cars, but he lined
- 1:35:38Speaker 1: them up like he got some and in front of
- 1:35:42Speaker 1: his cars like he like he may Weather here. Yeah,
- 1:35:52Speaker 1: Tommy lying his cars up like he may Well, like
- 1:35:58Speaker 1: they used car a lot right down the street. I
- 1:36:01Speaker 1: will say this. I will say this. I have lied
- 1:36:04Speaker 1: and took a picture in front of Uncle Steve's car
- 1:36:07Speaker 1: and put that on the internet. I have done that.
- 1:36:10Speaker 1: I'm not gonna need it. And what did what did
- 1:36:12Speaker 1: the caption say? Oh? You know I was between the
- 1:36:17Speaker 1: may bike and a row, I was right between both
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: of them. Just sent it out like yeah, the nephew
