- 0:01Speaker 1: One thing that Donald Trump promised was he was going
- 0:04Speaker 1: to give the power back to the people. Well, DOGE
- 0:07Speaker 1: is leading that effort, and the President is now saying
- 0:10Speaker 1: it is a top priority to make sure that you
- 0:13Speaker 1: can go to your government when there is a problem.
- 0:16Speaker 1: Americans apparently that are witnessing crippling federal regulations are now
- 0:22Speaker 1: going to be allowed to go directly to DOGE to
- 0:25Speaker 1: report the red tape issues. The Department of Government Efficiency
- 0:29Speaker 1: launching a new website where you or people you know
- 0:34Speaker 1: can directly report and suggest how to deregulate and the
- 0:39Speaker 1: policies within the federal government that are holding Americans back.
- 0:43Speaker 1: Quote your voice in federal decision making is important impacted
- 0:49Speaker 1: by an existing rule or regulation, Well, then share your
- 0:52Speaker 1: ideas for deregulation by completing this new DOGE form. Now,
- 0:58Speaker 1: this website is now live, and I want you to
- 1:01Speaker 1: know about it, and I want you to share it
- 1:03Speaker 1: wherever you can on social media. The website is Regulations
- 1:08Speaker 1: with an ass dot Gov. DOGE worked with the Government
- 1:13Speaker 1: Services Administration that is an independent agency tasked with helping
- 1:17Speaker 1: support the functioning of other federal agencies, as well as
- 1:21Speaker 1: the Office of Management and Budget, which is the federal
- 1:25Speaker 1: office frequently charged with overseeing deregulation efforts to launch the website,
- 1:31Speaker 1: and again that website is regulations dot gov quote. DOGE
- 1:36Speaker 1: is combining the administration's goals of adding transparency and slashing waste, fraud,
- 1:44Speaker 1: and abuse by offering the American people the unique opportunity
- 1:49Speaker 1: to recommend more deregulatory actions. This DOGE led effort highlighting
- 1:55Speaker 1: President Trump's top priority to put the people first and
- 1:59Speaker 1: the go government bureaucrats last. That is what the White
- 2:03Speaker 1: House spokesman said over the weekend. The website's main page
- 2:08Speaker 1: will direct users to a form where you can report
- 2:12Speaker 1: deregulatory suggestions, which provides users with more than a dozen
- 2:16Speaker 1: prompts regarding their issue. The prompts include describing which federal
- 2:21Speaker 1: agency has promoted a regulation at issue, if the regulation
- 2:25Speaker 1: is finalized or in the midst of the rulemaking process,
- 2:29Speaker 1: and justification for the deregulation, the history of how the
- 2:33Speaker 1: regulation operates, and the title and name of the agency's leader,
- 2:38Speaker 1: as well as other detailed information on the regulation. The
- 2:42Speaker 1: form prompts users also to provide their name, but the
- 2:46Speaker 1: box is not mandatory to complete before submission, meaning that
- 2:50Speaker 1: if you're, in essence, a whistleblower. They'll happily take your suggestion.
- 2:54Speaker 1: The person who submits a deregulatory suggestion could see the
- 2:58Speaker 1: Trump administration name the recession of the rule after the individual.
- 3:03Speaker 1: So if you would love to have your name official, well,
- 3:07Speaker 1: the Trump administration, if they take your advice, is going
- 3:10Speaker 1: to give you credit for it. Quote only answer, if
- 3:13Speaker 1: you would like the recession to be named after you
- 3:16Speaker 1: or your organization, Providing your name does not guarantee that
- 3:20Speaker 1: it will appear on any final agency action. And we
- 3:23Speaker 1: reserve the right to refrain from using names that are
- 3:25Speaker 1: inappropriate or offensive. This again going back to what Donald
- 3:29Speaker 1: Trump said, I'm putting Americans first and the bureaucrats last
- 3:34Speaker 1: in my administration, and it's another win for the American people.
- 3:38Speaker 1: I want to take a moment and talk to you
- 3:40Speaker 1: real quick about Israel. Israel is still under attack and
- 3:43Speaker 1: missile fire has resumed from the Huthis, from Hesblam and
- 3:47Speaker 1: Hama's enemies seeking Israel's destruction. Here in America, we cannot
- 3:51Speaker 1: imagine living under this constant threat of terrorism and rocket attacks.
- 3:55Speaker 1: This is the reality in Israel. Parents taking their children
- 3:58Speaker 1: to school, falling to the ground on top of their
- 4:01Speaker 1: small children, trying to comfort them as sirens blair. The
- 4:03Speaker 1: next attack against Israel is happening now with a little
- 4:06Speaker 1: time to prepare, so we must act now to help.
- 4:09Speaker 1: That's why I'm partnering with the International Fellowship of Christians
- 4:12Speaker 1: and Jews to help provide life saving aid and security essentials.
- 4:17Speaker 1: You urgently need. A gift today will help provide security
- 4:20Speaker 1: essentials like bomb shelters, flat jackets, and bulletproof vests for
- 4:24Speaker 1: first responders, as well as armored security vehicles, armored ambulances
- 4:29Speaker 1: and so much more. So join me in standing with
- 4:32Speaker 1: Israel to make your gift. Call eight at eight four
- 4:35Speaker 1: eight eight IFCJ that's eight eight eight four eight eight
- 4:40Speaker 1: four three two five are online, it's support IFCJ dot
- 4:44Speaker 1: org to give. That's one word support, IFCJ dot org. Now,
- 4:49Speaker 1: this also goes back to what Elon Musk has said.
- 4:52Speaker 1: And by the way, if you miss what Elon Musk
- 4:54Speaker 1: had to say to myself and Senator Cruz, go back
- 4:57Speaker 1: and listen to that podcast. It was a two part
- 4:59Speaker 1: series about what Doe is doing, and it was truly
- 5:02Speaker 1: incredible to hear exactly what Elon Musk has uncovered and
- 5:06Speaker 1: Elon Musk has railed against government regulation since the very beginning.
- 5:12Speaker 1: It was actually before the administration took office, when he
- 5:15Speaker 1: was helping Donald Trump win the White House. When he
- 5:18Speaker 1: joined President Trump's campaign in battleground Straits, he said, we
- 5:22Speaker 1: have a government that is not working for the people.
- 5:25Speaker 1: In a Pennsylvania rally ahead of the election, Musk recounted
- 5:29Speaker 1: how his company SpaceX was wrapped up in quote a
- 5:32Speaker 1: bunch of nutty stories related to government over regulation, including
- 5:36Speaker 1: studying the probability of the company's starship rocket hitting a
- 5:40Speaker 1: whale or shark, and facing lofty fines from the EPA
- 5:45Speaker 1: for dumping freshwater on the ground quote unquote. I'll tell you,
- 5:50Speaker 1: like a crazy thing, like we got fined one hundred
- 5:53Speaker 1: and forty thousand by the EPA for dumping freshwater on
- 5:56Speaker 1: the ground, drinking water. It's crazy. I'll just give you
- 6:01Speaker 1: an example of just how crazy it is. And we're like, well,
- 6:04Speaker 1: we're using water to cool the launch pad during launch.
- 6:07Speaker 1: You know, we're going to cool the launch pad so
- 6:09Speaker 1: it doesn't overheat, and an excess of caution, we actually
- 6:14Speaker 1: brought in drinking water, so clean, super clean water must
- 6:18Speaker 1: said to the audience of the time in Pennsylvania last year,
- 6:22Speaker 1: and the FAA said, no, you have to pay a
- 6:25Speaker 1: one hundred and forty thousand dollars fine. And we're like,
- 6:29Speaker 1: but Starbase is in a tropical thunderstorm area, skywater falls
- 6:35Speaker 1: all the time, must recounter referring to SpaceX headquarters in Texas.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Quote that is the same as the water we use.
- 6:42Speaker 1: So it's like, well, there's no harm to anything. And
- 6:45Speaker 1: they said, yeah, but we didn't have a permit. We're like,
- 6:50Speaker 1: you need a permit for fresh water must set at
- 6:52Speaker 1: the time. And these are the types of stories that
- 6:56Speaker 1: thou Musk and the President are looking from you, the
- 6:59Speaker 1: mere can people. You have to remember that Trump went
- 7:02Speaker 1: on a deregulation blitz targeting energy and climate regulations last
- 7:07Speaker 1: week in a series of executive orders aim to unleash
- 7:11Speaker 1: the power of coal energy in the US, including ending
- 7:14Speaker 1: a pause to coal leasing on federal lands, promoting coal
- 7:19Speaker 1: and coal technology exports, and encouraging the use of coal
- 7:23Speaker 1: to power artificial intelligence activities. Quote. President Trump knows that
- 7:29Speaker 1: the bureaucracy is built to regulate, not deregulate. The results
- 7:34Speaker 1: are an ever increasing number of regulations that stifle innovation
- 7:40Speaker 1: and limit American freedom. That is what the White House
- 7:43Speaker 1: said this week. At the end of the day, what
- 7:46Speaker 1: it's very clear is happening is the President saying, look,
- 7:49Speaker 1: we know there's so many things that are happening that
- 7:52Speaker 1: we may not know about because of so many government
- 7:55Speaker 1: regulations that we are asking you to help. We're giving
- 7:59Speaker 1: you a website that you can go to and you
- 8:03Speaker 1: can be the whistleblower to tell us what we can
- 8:05Speaker 1: do to help you. Never before in our government's history
- 8:10Speaker 1: have we had a place for men and women just
- 8:13Speaker 1: like you and I to go and then tell about
- 8:16Speaker 1: how a regulation is hurting you your business or a
- 8:22Speaker 1: industry that you're involved in. You've also never had a
- 8:25Speaker 1: president encourage the American people to stand up to its
- 8:29Speaker 1: own government and advocate for you, telling exactly what's happening
- 8:34Speaker 1: wherever you are now. Democrats are already criticizing the website,
- 8:39Speaker 1: calling it a ridiculous notion that the American people would
- 8:44Speaker 1: be able to understand what's actually happening and they won't
- 8:48Speaker 1: understand how important the regulations actually are. Well, let me
- 8:53Speaker 1: say this to the Democrats. The American people know good
- 8:56Speaker 1: and well what good businesses look like and what regulation
- 9:00Speaker 1: are doing to destroy their businesses, especially small businesses. And
- 9:04Speaker 1: as Elon must put it, it's time for the American
- 9:07Speaker 1: people to have a government that listens to them, that
- 9:09Speaker 1: works for them, that advocates for them, and that makes
- 9:13Speaker 1: it easier for them to succeed than to fail in business.
- 9:18Speaker 1: A major victory this week for the Trump administration who
- 9:22Speaker 1: said they were going to hold student protesters accountable if
- 9:26Speaker 1: they were standing up for terrorists, especially if they are
- 9:28Speaker 1: here from another country. Now, you may remember that the
- 9:32Speaker 1: Senate Democrats came out and said we stand with the
- 9:35Speaker 1: pro terrorists pro hamas Columbia graduate, a guy by the
- 9:39Speaker 1: name of Makmud Khalil. Why do they do it because, well,
- 9:43Speaker 1: the Democratic Party has no problem standing with people that
- 9:46Speaker 1: are advocating and supporting for the destruction of Israel and
- 9:49Speaker 1: those that advocate for actual terrorist organizations. This is not all.
- 9:54Speaker 1: We also found out that the Senate Judiciary Democrats went
- 9:58Speaker 1: all in in supporting him as a political decision. This
- 10:02Speaker 1: is the latest of six separate posts that they put
- 10:05Speaker 1: out on social media promoting his cause, declaring free Muhammad Khalil.
- 10:11Speaker 1: Well he was arrested, he was a leader of last
- 10:15Speaker 1: spring's pro Hamas protests, and just last week he participated
- 10:19Speaker 1: in the Barnard protests in which activists were handing out
- 10:23Speaker 1: Hamas propaganda booklets justifying the October seventh attacks. This again
- 10:30Speaker 1: was during the week when Democrats supported him. Now, it's
- 10:33Speaker 1: fair to debate where the line is between free speech
- 10:36Speaker 1: and due process, and there's no doubt that that is
- 10:39Speaker 1: an important conversation half But let's be clear, Democrats have
- 10:44Speaker 1: no problem looking the other way when it comes to
- 10:46Speaker 1: immigration laws, and they look the other way when it
- 10:49Speaker 1: comes to protecting Jewish students on campus as well, which
- 10:53Speaker 1: brings us to the victory that all of us should
- 10:56Speaker 1: be excited about. An immigration judge has now ruled that
- 11:01Speaker 1: Mood Khalil can be deported from the US due to
- 11:05Speaker 1: his involvement in leading last year's pro Palace Indian protests
- 11:09Speaker 1: at Columbia University. The judge coming out and this news
- 11:14Speaker 1: breaking on Fox where Democrats lost their minds yet again.
- 11:19Speaker 2: So decision that we have been waiting for. A judge
- 11:22Speaker 2: has just ruled that the Trump administration's effort to deport
- 11:26Speaker 2: Mahmoud Khalil can move forward. Correspondent Brook Taylor live right
- 11:32Speaker 2: near that courthouse in Jeana, Louisiana. Tell us what the
- 11:35Speaker 2: judge is saying in there?
- 11:36Speaker 3: Brook, Hi, Martha, Yeah, this has been long anticipated and
- 11:40Speaker 3: some major news. Just to first give you some perspective,
- 11:43Speaker 3: we're down the street from the Ice Detention Center. The
- 11:46Speaker 3: courtroom is inside of there. They didn't allow any phones
- 11:49Speaker 3: or cameras, so we're finding out this information from our
- 11:52Speaker 3: reporter who's over there down the street. She tells us,
- 11:55Speaker 3: as you just mentioned, the immigration judge has found Mahmoud
- 11:58Speaker 3: Khalil removed. Khalil's attorneys have until April twenty third to
- 12:04Speaker 3: file relief applications. I asked that reporter what the immigration
- 12:08Speaker 3: judge was able to say. She cited those d Jess
- 12:11Speaker 3: papers and said that the Secretary of State Marco Rubio
- 12:15Speaker 3: was able to meet that burden and again they have
- 12:18Speaker 3: decided that Macmood Khalil is removable. The next question, Martha,
- 12:23Speaker 3: of course's attorneys are going to fight this, but how
- 12:25Speaker 3: long that process is going to take right now for
- 12:28Speaker 3: him to be deported.
- 12:29Speaker 2: We'll send it back.
- 12:30Speaker 1: You hear that report. Democrats are angry because they wanted
- 12:34Speaker 1: to make sure that they could have as many of
- 12:36Speaker 1: these activists that have come into the United States of
- 12:38Speaker 1: America stand up for Terris and advocate for death and
- 12:42Speaker 1: destruction of the Jews all over the world. This judge
- 12:46Speaker 1: ruling on Friday that this thirty year old again can
- 12:49Speaker 1: be deported, saying the US government medits burden of proof
- 12:52Speaker 1: to remove him. Quote. I would like to quote what
- 12:55Speaker 1: you said last time, that there's nothing that's more important
- 12:59Speaker 1: to this court than due process rights and fundamental fairness.
- 13:03Speaker 1: That is what macmood told the court, saying, quote clearly
- 13:07Speaker 1: what we witnessed today, neither of these principles were presented
- 13:10Speaker 1: today or in the whole process.
- 13:13Speaker 2: Quote.
- 13:14Speaker 1: This is exactly why the Trump administration has sent me
- 13:17Speaker 1: to this court one thousand miles away from my family.
- 13:20Speaker 1: I just hope that the urgency that you deemed fit
- 13:23Speaker 1: for me are afforded to the hundreds of others who
- 13:27Speaker 1: have been here without hearings for months now. His attorneys
- 13:32Speaker 1: again have until April the twenty third to file relief applications.
- 13:37Speaker 1: During the hearing, the Department of Homeland Security attorneys also
- 13:41Speaker 1: spoke about how this individual misrepresented himself on his green
- 13:46Speaker 1: card application, lying to get into the US the Department
- 13:50Speaker 1: of Homeland Security. Attorneys said that the man was not
- 13:52Speaker 1: upfront about some of the organizations that he was involved with. Macmod,
- 13:57Speaker 1: they said, willfully failed to disclose his employment with a
- 14:01Speaker 1: Syrian office in the British Embassy in Beirut when he
- 14:04Speaker 1: applied for permanent US residency. Federal officials alleged that Mackmoud
- 14:10Speaker 1: was inadmissible at the time of his adjustment because of
- 14:14Speaker 1: fraud or willful misrepresentation of material facts in his status application.
- 14:20Speaker 1: In other words, the sky's a pathological liar to get
- 14:23Speaker 1: into the US is what they're accusing him of. The
- 14:26Speaker 1: agency also accused him of failing to disclose his work
- 14:29Speaker 1: for the United Nations Relief and Work Agency, specifically for
- 14:33Speaker 1: Palestine refugees, and membership in Columbia University's apartheid divest Now,
- 14:40Speaker 1: this is another example of the Trump administration saying we're
- 14:43Speaker 1: willing to dig, we're willing to look, and we're willing
- 14:46Speaker 1: to make sure that people that come to this country
- 14:49Speaker 1: are not wishing harm on anyone and aren't advocating for
- 14:53Speaker 1: terrorist organizations. This ruling, no doubt will have major precedent
- 14:57Speaker 1: in allowing the administration to con tendue to go after
- 15:01Speaker 1: those that were violent or advocating for violence on college
- 15:05Speaker 1: campuses coast to coast. Let me tell you about Patriot
- 15:09Speaker 1: Mobile real quick. If you've got a cell phone and
- 15:11Speaker 1: your cell phone is not with Patriot Mobile, then the
- 15:15Speaker 1: question I got to ask you is why why have
- 15:18Speaker 1: you not made the switch? Well, you should make the switch,
- 15:21Speaker 1: and the deal is really easy. You get cutting edge technology.
- 15:26Speaker 1: Switching has never been easier. There's no store visits, no hassles.
- 15:30Speaker 1: You get to keep your same phone number you have
- 15:32Speaker 1: right now. You get to keep your same phone you've
- 15:34Speaker 1: got now or upgrade to a new one, and they
- 15:36Speaker 1: have a one hundred percent US based team that can
- 15:39Speaker 1: activate you literally in minutes. The other thing that I
- 15:42Speaker 1: love about Patriot Mobile is this they have access to
- 15:45Speaker 1: all three major networks, meaning you get exceptional nationwide coverage.
- 15:50Speaker 1: I use Patriot Mobile and half for years. They can
- 15:53Speaker 1: even put a second number on a different network on
- 15:57Speaker 1: your phone. It's like carrying two phone in one. You
- 16:00Speaker 1: can have a work number and a personal number. It's amazing.
- 16:04Speaker 1: They have unlimited data plans, mobile hotspots, international roaming, internet
- 16:10Speaker 1: on the go devices, and home internet backup as well.
- 16:13Speaker 1: You can get all of this from Patriot Mobile, So
- 16:17Speaker 1: why are you waiting? Make the switch today. And by
- 16:20Speaker 1: the way, when you pay your bill, you know that
- 16:23Speaker 1: about five percent of that bill every month is going
- 16:25Speaker 1: back to support conservative causes. Causes that stand for our
- 16:29Speaker 1: First and or Second Amendment rights, the rights of unborn children,
- 16:33Speaker 1: and they stand with our veterans, our first responders, our
- 16:36Speaker 1: police and firemen, are EMTs and are wounded warriors. So
- 16:40Speaker 1: make a difference with every call you make. So right now,
- 16:43Speaker 1: go to Patriotmobile dot com slash ferguson or call them
- 16:49Speaker 1: nine to seven to two Patriot. You're going to get
- 16:51Speaker 1: a free month of service with the promo code Ferguson.
- 16:54Speaker 1: So switch to Patriot Mobile and make a difference with
- 16:56Speaker 1: every call you make. Patriot Mobile dot com slash for
- 16:59Speaker 1: ferguson or nine to seven to two Patriot. Now, let
- 17:03Speaker 1: me also be clear about something else, because if you
- 17:06Speaker 1: think Democrats are going to lie down on this one
- 17:07Speaker 1: of the radicals are going to stop, they're not. Because
- 17:10Speaker 1: following the ruling, mcmood's immigration attorney called the decision quote
- 17:16Speaker 1: unjust as it is alarming, saying, quote, this is a
- 17:19Speaker 1: blatant violation of the First Amendment and a dangerous present
- 17:23Speaker 1: for anyone who believes in free speech and political expression.
- 17:26Speaker 1: Mac mood is currently in prison in Louisiana, a state
- 17:30Speaker 1: that detains over seven thousand people daily and serves as
- 17:35Speaker 1: the second largest hub for immigration attention in the US.
- 17:39Speaker 1: Louisiana's nine detention centers, eight of which are privately operated,
- 17:43Speaker 1: as attorney said, include the only ice facility in the
- 17:46Speaker 1: country directly connected to an airport, thus streamlining mass deportations
- 17:51Speaker 1: across the state. The Department of Homeland Security Secretary Christy
- 17:55Speaker 1: Noam also weighed in on the ruling, saying that the
- 17:58Speaker 1: Columbia University graduate quote hates America, saying this, it is
- 18:03Speaker 1: a privilege to be granted visa or a green card
- 18:06Speaker 1: to live and study in the United States of America.
- 18:09Speaker 1: When you advocate for violence, glorifying and supporting terrorists, and
- 18:15Speaker 1: relish the killing of Americans and harassed Jews, that privilege
- 18:19Speaker 1: should be revoked and you should not be in this country,
- 18:23Speaker 1: she said, and then she added good riddance now. On Tuesday,
- 18:28Speaker 1: his attorneys also ordered the federal government to quote provide
- 18:32Speaker 1: evidence by Wednesday justifying their attempt to deport Mike Mood.
- 18:38Speaker 1: The Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, responded on behalf of
- 18:41Speaker 1: the government and roughly a one and a half page
- 18:44Speaker 1: letter sent to the court on Wednesday. He cited a
- 18:47Speaker 1: provision in the Immigration Nationality Act of nineteen fifty two
- 18:52Speaker 1: to justify the removal from the US. The provision allows
- 18:56Speaker 1: the Secretary of State to deport non citizens if the
- 18:58Speaker 1: Secretary determined their presence in the US quote would have
- 19:02Speaker 1: serious adverse foreign policy consequences. Rubio accused the man of
- 19:08Speaker 1: participating in anti Semitic protests and disruptive activities, which fosters
- 19:13Speaker 1: a hostile environment for Jewish students in the United States.
- 19:17Speaker 1: He said anti Semitic conduct and disruptive protests the United
- 19:21Speaker 1: States would severely undermine the significant foreign policy objective Rubio
- 19:26Speaker 1: stated in his letter. The attorneys for the individual have
- 19:30Speaker 1: argued that the government's attention of the Columbia University graduate
- 19:34Speaker 1: is extraordinary and unprecedented, and that the Immigration and Nationality
- 19:39Speaker 1: Act of nineteen fifty two scope is quote breath taking translation.
- 19:45Speaker 1: They can't stand the fact that we have a leader
- 19:47Speaker 1: in this country and people under him who are willing
- 19:51Speaker 1: to put Americans first and not allow for people to
- 19:54Speaker 1: come into this country as a privileged individual to go
- 19:58Speaker 1: and study at our universities, who are there actually attacking
- 20:01Speaker 1: and trying to radicalize those around them. Quick break, Ben
- 20:05Speaker 1: Ferguson Show, much more coming up. I want to give
- 20:09Speaker 1: you a very important update on what's going on with
- 20:12Speaker 1: tariff negotiations. This is a story that the media is
- 20:17Speaker 1: not going to want to tell you about because of
- 20:19Speaker 1: the number that I'm about to disclose to you. You
- 20:23Speaker 1: may remember the other day there was reports out that
- 20:26Speaker 1: there were fifty countries that had lined up to negotiate
- 20:30Speaker 1: their tariffs to the Trump administration. Then that number went
- 20:34Speaker 1: to seventy, and that is when the media started getting
- 20:37Speaker 1: quiet on the story. We now have a new number,
- 20:41Speaker 1: and the Trump administration has told us that they are
- 20:44Speaker 1: now negotiating with one hundred and thirty countries on tariffs. Now,
- 20:50Speaker 1: I want you to hear this back and forth with
- 20:52Speaker 1: liberal Jake Tapper over at CNN on Say the Union
- 20:56Speaker 1: talking with the n Asroeconomic Council Director Kevin Hassett. And
- 21:00Speaker 1: here is what Jake Chapper tried to say when he
- 21:03Speaker 1: was baiting him into a false narrative. Take a listen
- 21:07Speaker 1: what do.
- 21:07Speaker 4: You say to small business owners or even big business
- 21:10Speaker 4: owners who say they're having difficulty making long term business
- 21:13Speaker 4: decisions because the country seems right now to be run
- 21:16Speaker 4: by capricious whim.
- 21:18Speaker 5: Oh, i'd think at all, it's run by Capriciu's whim.
- 21:21Speaker 5: The way that I would think about it is that
- 21:23Speaker 5: in the previous administration, you can sort of say, if
- 21:26Speaker 5: you're thinking about it in the football analogy is that
- 21:28Speaker 5: they were running out the clock. And what's going on
- 21:31Speaker 5: now and the Trump administration is across a wide array
- 21:33Speaker 5: of policy areas. We're in a two minute offense, and
- 21:37Speaker 5: the two minute offense is pushing, as you've seen, the
- 21:39Speaker 5: reconciliation build through so that we get tax relief for
- 21:42Speaker 5: America people, deregulation, and of course trade policy. Now, in
- 21:46Speaker 5: the trade policy, the whole point of the trade policy
- 21:49Speaker 5: is to address the national emergency that we're too dependent
- 21:53Speaker 5: on foreign products in the US, especially if we were
- 21:57Speaker 5: at a time of conflict, and we're doing something about that.
- 22:00Speaker 5: And the Reciprocal Act was basically, guys, if you come
- 22:03Speaker 5: to the table and negotiate us with us and treat
- 22:06Speaker 5: us the same way we treat you, then we'll you'll
- 22:09Speaker 5: get your rate really low. And so right now one
- 22:11Speaker 5: hundred and thirty countries, one hundred and thirty countries have
- 22:14Speaker 5: responded and we're negotiating with them, and they've got their
- 22:17Speaker 5: rate down to ten percent. And so really it's kind
- 22:20Speaker 5: of almost a two world system. There's a process about
- 22:23Speaker 5: China and that's very very nascent, if at all, and
- 22:27Speaker 5: then the process for everybody else. So the process for
- 22:29Speaker 5: everybody else is orderly. It's clear people are coming to
- 22:33Speaker 5: town with great, great offers. We've got Japan, Korea, India.
- 22:38Speaker 5: I was just talking to the Foreign Minister of India
- 22:42Speaker 5: and everything is moving forward very quickly. And so I
- 22:45Speaker 5: guess the bottom line is that the small business owner
- 22:49Speaker 5: has experienced over the last few weeks the start of
- 22:51Speaker 5: a process that's settling down really quite quickly. Gave one
- 22:54Speaker 5: hundred and thirty countries are at ten percent now.
- 22:57Speaker 1: So if you want to know if the administration is
- 22:59Speaker 1: working hard to get these deals done, the answer is yes.
- 23:02Speaker 1: And are there people that are coming to the table,
- 23:04Speaker 1: The answer is yes. And are there a few?
- 23:06Speaker 4: No?
- 23:06Speaker 1: Are there some?
- 23:07Speaker 4: No?
- 23:08Speaker 1: Are there a lot? Man, Maybe you could go even
- 23:10Speaker 1: beyond that, as I quote the administration, So right now
- 23:14Speaker 1: there are one hundred and thirty countries. One hundred and
- 23:17Speaker 1: thirty countries have responded and we're negotiating with them and
- 23:21Speaker 1: they've got their rate down to ten percent. So really
- 23:24Speaker 1: it's almost a two world system. There's a process. They
- 23:29Speaker 1: said about countries that are not willing to come to
- 23:32Speaker 1: the table, places like China, and those are going to
- 23:35Speaker 1: be tough, but everyone else they seem to be wanting
- 23:39Speaker 1: the best deal they can get with the American government,
- 23:41Speaker 1: and that means it's an amazing deal for the American people.
- 23:45Speaker 1: So don't buy into the fear mongering. Look at the
- 23:48Speaker 1: actual results, and it's clear that there's one hundred and
- 23:52Speaker 1: thirty countries that are dying to get a deal done
- 23:55Speaker 1: with a Trump administration who is putting American workers and
- 23:59Speaker 1: business first instead of last. Now that's not the only
- 24:03Speaker 1: piece of good news. The President is also listening to
- 24:06Speaker 1: his advisors, and now we know that there is going
- 24:09Speaker 1: to be some exemptions on some important products that do
- 24:12Speaker 1: affect Americans. Right now, smartphones, computers, and electronic devices are
- 24:18Speaker 1: being exempt from the Trump administration's tariffs on China. The
- 24:23Speaker 1: administration announcing that various electronic devices such as smartphones and
- 24:27Speaker 1: computers will have the exemption from the tariffs that have
- 24:31Speaker 1: been imposed on China. In a bulletin that was posted
- 24:34Speaker 1: late Friday night by the US Customs and Border Protection Agency,
- 24:39Speaker 1: it was revealed that certain products quote would be exempted
- 24:42Speaker 1: from the tariffs. The tariff exemptions on certain products apply
- 24:46Speaker 1: retroactively to April to fifth. According to Axios, the products
- 24:51Speaker 1: would be exempt from recent applied tariffs, while other pre
- 24:55Speaker 1: April second tariffs would still apply. The White House press
- 24:59Speaker 1: singer tar Carolina Levin explained in a statement, the President
- 25:02Speaker 1: Donald Trump has made it clear that the United States
- 25:05Speaker 1: cannot rely on China to manufacture critical technologies semiconductors, chips, smartphones,
- 25:14Speaker 1: and laptops, saying President Trump has made it clear America
- 25:17Speaker 1: cannot rely on China to manufacture critical technologies such as
- 25:22Speaker 1: those semiconductors, chips, smartphones, and laptops, and that's why the
- 25:27Speaker 1: President has secured trillions of dollars in US investments from
- 25:31Speaker 1: the largest tech companies in the world, including Apple, TSMC,
- 25:37Speaker 1: and NA Video. CNBC also reported that the guidance for
- 25:41Speaker 1: the USCBP includes exclusions for other electronic devices and components,
- 25:47Speaker 1: including semiconductors, solar cells, flat panel TV display, flash drives,
- 25:53Speaker 1: and memory cards. The White House Deputy Press Secretary explained
- 25:57Speaker 1: that quote companies are hustling to will on shore. They're
- 26:01Speaker 1: manufacturing the United States as soon as possible. The outlet
- 26:05Speaker 1: explained that the top twenty product categories listed in the
- 26:09Speaker 1: CBP guidelines are apparently exempt from the one hundred and
- 26:12Speaker 1: twenty five percent tariffs that Trump is imposed on Chinese imports.
- 26:18Speaker 1: The twenty product categories listed in the CBP guidelines are
- 26:22Speaker 1: apparently exempt from the one to twenty five tariffs and
- 26:25Speaker 1: the ten percent baseline tariff on imports from other countries.
- 26:29Speaker 1: A twenty percent tariff on all Chinese goods remains in
- 26:33Speaker 1: effect quote unquote and a presidential memorandum. Trump explained in
- 26:37Speaker 1: the Executive Order fourteen two fifty seven that regulations imports
- 26:42Speaker 1: with a reciprocal tariff to rectified trade practices that contribute
- 26:47Speaker 1: to large and persistent annual United States good trade deficits.
- 26:52Speaker 1: I declare national emergency arising from conditions reflected in large
- 26:56Speaker 1: and persistent annual US goods trade deficit sits and imposed
- 27:01Speaker 1: additional ad bellorum duties as I deem necessary and appropriate
- 27:07Speaker 1: to deal with the unusual and extraordinary threat, which has
- 27:11Speaker 1: its source and whole our substantial part outside of the US.
- 27:16Speaker 1: The national security and economic of the United States of
- 27:19Speaker 1: America is what is stated in this executive order. Now
- 27:23Speaker 1: here's what we know, the presence being clear that he's
- 27:27Speaker 1: not going to allow China to get away with much
- 27:29Speaker 1: of what they've been doing, but there are certain things
- 27:32Speaker 1: that America does need in the near term as we
- 27:35Speaker 1: start manufacturing in this country. This is also another example
- 27:39Speaker 1: of the President listening to those around him and listening
- 27:43Speaker 1: to the American people and industry that are saying, we
- 27:46Speaker 1: love that you're fighting for us, but there may be
- 27:49Speaker 1: some certain things will need some help on in the
- 27:51Speaker 1: short term. And this is proof that the President is
- 27:54Speaker 1: obviously putting Americans first. Yet again, We're going to cover
- 27:59Speaker 1: it all every day for you. Make sure you hit
- 28:01Speaker 1: that subscribe auto download button and I will see you
- 28:04Speaker 1: back here tomorrow on the program.
