- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time? I
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know, y'all. A sun giving them like the million
- 0:16Speaker 1: bucks things and the good at Steve harp to the room,
- 0:27Speaker 1: sty I don't join jo. You gotta turn you, you
- 1:24Speaker 1: gotta turn to turn them out. Turn you haven't got
- 1:44Speaker 1: to turn them out. Then turn the water the water.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on your back, I shall will. Oh, good morning, everybody.
- 2:04Speaker 1: You are listening to the voice, Come on now, dig
- 2:08Speaker 1: me one and only. Steve Harvey Man got a radio show.
- 2:12Speaker 1: What God doing, y'all? Huh, what are he doing? What
- 2:16Speaker 1: are you doing in your life? He's doing something, He moving,
- 2:19Speaker 1: he working. Don't lose your patience though, so I did
- 2:23Speaker 1: that before. Don't lose your patience. Don't don't. Don't get
- 2:27Speaker 1: so sick of waiting that you take matters into your
- 2:30Speaker 1: own hands. Don't do that. Boy, you're blowing it. Listen
- 2:35Speaker 1: to me. You're listening to somebody who's done it that way.
- 2:39Speaker 1: I had a dream, I had a vision. I had
- 2:42Speaker 1: some hope, I had some faith, I had some aspirations.
- 2:46Speaker 1: But I got a little impatient waiting on it. So
- 2:49Speaker 1: I tried a couple other things move it along. But
- 2:52Speaker 1: I can't tell you how I messed it up. Then
- 2:54Speaker 1: I messed it up. Then, because God gave me the
- 2:56Speaker 1: power of decision, what I had to do was then
- 2:59Speaker 1: after I took matters into my own hand, messed it up. Now,
- 3:03Speaker 1: guess what, He still got something from me. But now
- 3:06Speaker 1: I gotta fix all the mistakes. Now I gotta straighten
- 3:09Speaker 1: them out. I gotta I gotta suffer some consequences. I
- 3:12Speaker 1: gotta pay for my transgressions. All of that, All of that,
- 3:16Speaker 1: it's gotta go down. You can't do something wrong and
- 3:20Speaker 1: not pay for it. It's you call it, calma, call
- 3:23Speaker 1: it whatever you wanna call it. Every action has an
- 3:27Speaker 1: equal and opposite reaction every action. If it just stays
- 3:33Speaker 1: sunny all the time, you might think it's cool, but
- 3:35Speaker 1: there's gonna be a reaction to it. Ain't no dark,
- 3:38Speaker 1: ain't no shade, ain't no break, ain't no rain. Gonna
- 3:41Speaker 1: be hard if it's just sunny all the time, vice versa.
- 3:45Speaker 1: So you need you need the opposite. You need the
- 3:49Speaker 1: darkness so you can get your break from that sun.
- 3:52Speaker 1: You need to rain so you can nourish the roots
- 3:54Speaker 1: so that sun it can soak up the sun and
- 3:58Speaker 1: get the benefit of the sun. If you don't get
- 4:00Speaker 1: the opposite, you got a problem, man. And it happens
- 4:03Speaker 1: throughout nature, it happens throughout your life. Don't think that
- 4:07Speaker 1: you can do wrong and not have to pay for that.
- 4:12Speaker 1: Do you think this is man? We think, man, because
- 4:15Speaker 1: we'd have made a decision that we think it is
- 4:17Speaker 1: best for us, and no matter how it to affect
- 4:19Speaker 1: nobody else, we got the right to make that call. No,
- 4:22Speaker 1: you don't. Whoever is telling you that, whoever's misguiding you
- 4:26Speaker 1: into the gang life, telling you, yeah, man, you need
- 4:28Speaker 1: to be this a way to be down with us.
- 4:30Speaker 1: I tell you what, Get yourself stuck on chuck with
- 4:32Speaker 1: that gang. See how many of them be there for you. Oh,
- 4:35Speaker 1: they'll go around the corner with you and starts shooting.
- 4:37Speaker 1: But okay, when it's time to do some time and
- 4:41Speaker 1: they can lessen their centers, you're gonna get that time.
- 4:44Speaker 1: They're gonna point their finger dead at you. I watched
- 4:46Speaker 1: for eight hours all the time, man, I watch Lock
- 4:48Speaker 1: Up Raw all the time, all the time, man, all
- 4:52Speaker 1: the time. Ain't no real cold dudes out there just
- 4:55Speaker 1: holding to the mantra and sticking to it. Even the
- 4:58Speaker 1: mob turns stateside. Ever, Adnce go fed all that. Now
- 5:02Speaker 1: we are in the honor hood. We didn't created this
- 5:04Speaker 1: ignorant mess called no snitching. With that hignorant mess, you
- 5:07Speaker 1: don't even understand. No snitching was created by criminals as
- 5:10Speaker 1: a code of honor. If you do dirt and you
- 5:13Speaker 1: get busted doing the dirt, don't bring my name up
- 5:16Speaker 1: if I was with you. That's a code of honor
- 5:18Speaker 1: amongst the thieves. Now, so many code of honor thieves
- 5:21Speaker 1: that then came out of prison. They ain't got no honor.
- 5:23Speaker 1: They haven't bought that stuff back to the street. Now,
- 5:25Speaker 1: that's all in the neighborhood. No snitching, No snitching, You
- 5:28Speaker 1: got to be crazy. That's for people who disobey the law.
- 5:33Speaker 1: That's who people have made a code of honor amongst
- 5:35Speaker 1: themselves as thieves. Hey, man, if you get busted, don't
- 5:37Speaker 1: drag me down. What you just do your time. Oh man,
- 5:41Speaker 1: you can't bring that stuff out here to me. I'm
- 5:42Speaker 1: a law biden citizen dog. I'm trying to live right
- 5:46Speaker 1: over here, man. I don't want to crack house up
- 5:48Speaker 1: street from my mama's house. I'm trying to do right
- 5:51Speaker 1: out here. Man, you can't do wrong and expect wrong
- 5:54Speaker 1: not to come to you. You got to make a
- 5:56Speaker 1: decision every day to do right. God ain't got no
- 5:59Speaker 1: protection you on dirt. You got what you got coming.
- 6:02Speaker 1: You made a decision. You go down there to get
- 6:06Speaker 1: some you might got get got See, we got to
- 6:10Speaker 1: come on. I'm talking to so many men out here
- 6:13Speaker 1: right now. I should have said that didn't mean getting,
- 6:15Speaker 1: but a conversation kind of got away from me. I
- 6:17Speaker 1: was going to talk to you about something else this morning,
- 6:19Speaker 1: but did just only man, because our communities. Man, it's
- 6:22Speaker 1: just going to the pot man, because it ain't nobody
- 6:25Speaker 1: can about nobody else. Don't nobody care when they see
- 6:29Speaker 1: that young dude over that doing wrong. Look at them
- 6:31Speaker 1: foods over that man, Go over there and talk to
- 6:33Speaker 1: one of them. Pull them to the side. Man, you
- 6:36Speaker 1: might not be able to approach the group, but you
- 6:38Speaker 1: can approach an individual. Come in, young man. Let me
- 6:41Speaker 1: talk to you. I saw you the other day. Man,
- 6:43Speaker 1: you look like you got something going on in your life.
- 6:44Speaker 1: What's happening with you? Let me talk to you, man,
- 6:47Speaker 1: Let me share something I learned. I was doing what
- 6:49Speaker 1: you was doing. You know, it's like Tommy did a
- 6:52Speaker 1: prank phone call one time as a limo driver, and
- 6:56Speaker 1: the dude the prank was he called this limo company
- 6:59Speaker 1: to add that's this limo driver to take him to
- 7:03Speaker 1: this location late at night. And the limo driver got
- 7:06Speaker 1: a young business he going, yeah, okay, I got you.
- 7:09Speaker 1: I don't normally work like that. But how long you
- 7:11Speaker 1: need it? He's say, for just about an hour? He said, well,
- 7:13Speaker 1: I'm gonna have to charge you for the full three though,
- 7:15Speaker 1: because a three hour minimum. Tommy told him, now, I
- 7:18Speaker 1: just need it for one hours. He said, okay, I'll
- 7:20Speaker 1: give you a break, young man. You're trying to do something.
- 7:22Speaker 1: Where you want to go? He gave the address. The
- 7:24Speaker 1: man stopped writing. He said, that's a bank. He said yeah.
- 7:29Speaker 1: He said, you want to go to the bank at
- 7:31Speaker 1: twelve thirty at night. He say yeah, and I'm gonna
- 7:34Speaker 1: be in for a few minutes. And when I come
- 7:36Speaker 1: out that bank, I need for you to flow it
- 7:40Speaker 1: that to dude with the limo. He stopped writing. He said, ho,
- 7:43Speaker 1: hold on, hold on, man, you want me to take
- 7:47Speaker 1: you to a bank twelve thirty at night. You're gonna
- 7:50Speaker 1: be in there for a few minutes and you're gonna
- 7:52Speaker 1: come out and you want me to float it. He said, sir,
- 7:56Speaker 1: I don't do stuff like that. He said, you got
- 7:57Speaker 1: the wrong company. He said, what made you call him?
- 8:00Speaker 1: He said, hey, man, don't worry about that. You a
- 8:01Speaker 1: limo come to you just dry. He stopped and took
- 8:04Speaker 1: the time out. He said, young man, let me tell
- 8:07Speaker 1: you something. He said, I've been down before, I've been
- 8:10Speaker 1: locked up before. It ain't pretty. He said, that's what's
- 8:14Speaker 1: wrong with you young people to day. Instead of going
- 8:16Speaker 1: to get a job, trying to work your way, you're
- 8:18Speaker 1: always looking for some fast money. He's I'm gonna tell
- 8:20Speaker 1: you what I already know. Don't go down they're messing
- 8:22Speaker 1: with them people's money like that because they love that
- 8:25Speaker 1: money where more than they love you, and they're gonna
- 8:27Speaker 1: do something to you down now. Now, you stop this foolishness.
- 8:30Speaker 1: And I'm not caring you nowhere, but I'm gonna take
- 8:32Speaker 1: a little bit of time out to tell you something.
- 8:35Speaker 1: Don't go down here with messing with these people's money,
- 8:38Speaker 1: because it ain't gonna go good. They're gonna take care
- 8:40Speaker 1: of their business where they come to that money. Tommy
- 8:42Speaker 1: kept insisting to this man to pick him up in
- 8:45Speaker 1: the limit. It was a playing phone call. But the
- 8:47Speaker 1: point I'm making is the man took out time. He
- 8:49Speaker 1: could just hung the phone up. But you know what
- 8:51Speaker 1: he's said, he's a hold up young man. Let me
- 8:54Speaker 1: hip you to something. Because the brother had been locked
- 8:56Speaker 1: up before. He said, no, no, no no, I see I've
- 8:58Speaker 1: done that when I was young. Now I almost stopping.
- 9:00Speaker 1: I'm gonna take some moment out to tell you. I'm
- 9:02Speaker 1: gonna here working man trying to earn an honest living.
- 9:04Speaker 1: I ain't going back down there because I don't. I don't.
- 9:07Speaker 1: They make you eat what they want you to eat.
- 9:08Speaker 1: You don't want the food. You gotta get up when
- 9:10Speaker 1: they say get up. You gotta stay where they say stay,
- 9:13Speaker 1: live with who they say live. He said, man, you
- 9:15Speaker 1: don't want that, and he just tried to talk the
- 9:17Speaker 1: young man out of it. You can change a young
- 9:20Speaker 1: man's mind with a conversation. A conversation can change a
- 9:24Speaker 1: young man's man. Most of these young men that are
- 9:26Speaker 1: misguided ain't having conversations with real men. They just not
- 9:30Speaker 1: having them. And it's up to us who know what
- 9:33Speaker 1: manhoo it is is to start delivering the message. The
- 9:36Speaker 1: problem that we have in our communities. We could solve ourselves.
- 9:39Speaker 1: It didn't escalated to a point because we who are
- 9:42Speaker 1: men won't stop on our corporate climb and our day
- 9:45Speaker 1: to day making money and trying to ball out. We
- 9:48Speaker 1: won't stop and grab some of these young soldiers and
- 9:51Speaker 1: tell them the truth about manhood. That's the real deal. Okay,
- 9:54Speaker 1: so I went there. I don't know where they came from.
- 9:56Speaker 1: You're listening to show ladies, gentlemen, let me have your
- 10:04Speaker 1: undivided attention. Steve Harvey, Morty show Man, Good Morning World.

- 10:12Speaker 1: to be here. We alive, we will, we're surviving it.
- 10:17Speaker 1: But I'm doing better than surviving it. I'm thriving in mind. Man.
- 10:22Speaker 1: Got some situations talk to you about today. But other
- 10:25Speaker 1: than that, I'm doing well. Steve Harvey, Morny Show, here

- 10:54Speaker 1: I just like to have a situation. Nephew, Tommy, I
- 10:59Speaker 1: hear you. I meant I mean world. Well, yeah, happy
- 11:10Speaker 1: hump day. Yeah, it don't matter. It's a hump day,
- 11:14Speaker 1: hump day, same as the flat day. Way. Jeff like Tuesday,
- 11:22Speaker 1: same sad, Jeff liked nothing. Yeah that's so how you're
- 11:29Speaker 1: holding Stevie good. I'm doing pretty good man, you know,
- 11:33Speaker 1: um um we got still end this though, sou Okay,
- 11:39Speaker 1: yeah this, yeah, this this case you have made it
- 11:42Speaker 1: over here. When I'm at the voice, you know, it's
- 11:46Speaker 1: like all I'm just in all how wrong I can
- 11:51Speaker 1: be every day in just about every aspect of my life.
- 11:57Speaker 1: You know, I'm looking at this empire built and it
- 12:00Speaker 1: seems to be like people someone has forgotten or just
- 12:07Speaker 1: who the hell I am? And so come on here.
- 12:10Speaker 1: Yeah it don't matter, no damn or not that it
- 12:13Speaker 1: really did before, but it's starting to resurface. In quarantine.
- 12:17Speaker 1: So you know, she had Marjorie had one of her
- 12:19Speaker 1: girlfriends come over today. You know who's been in quarantine,
- 12:23Speaker 1: you know, a single sisters. So she's been in quarantine, Marjie.
- 12:27Speaker 1: They've been talking, so they've been doing a little virtual
- 12:29Speaker 1: little wine happy hours and so she came on over
- 12:32Speaker 1: the day and so, you know, you know, try to
- 12:36Speaker 1: be nice. So I said, you know, hey, baby, want
- 12:39Speaker 1: me to get ya all the bottle of wine? She said,
- 12:42Speaker 1: old honey, out to be lovely. I said, honey, okay,
- 12:45Speaker 1: well cool. I ain't been there, oh yeah, about a
- 12:50Speaker 1: few weeks into the quarantines, and so I was just hey, hey, yeah,
- 12:58Speaker 1: I know that's me and nobody else in here. So
- 13:01Speaker 1: I'll go down there and I get a bottle of wine.
- 13:05Speaker 1: But I can't. I don't know how to get in.
- 13:08Speaker 1: The wine seller's got a lock on it. So I
- 13:10Speaker 1: need the combination whatever it is. Not ask her to
- 13:13Speaker 1: come down, and uh, she came down and said, you
- 13:15Speaker 1: don't know the combination. I said, no, I don't. I
- 13:19Speaker 1: don't go in here. I don't really drink wine. You're
- 13:21Speaker 1: the wine kind of stup, but you don't know the combination.
- 13:25Speaker 1: So now I'm going you know what, I always wanted
- 13:28Speaker 1: to suggest you to come down here to get you
- 13:30Speaker 1: in your fe a damn bottle of wine. Nah nah.
- 13:35Speaker 1: It continues the thirty two minutes after the hour, We'll
- 13:38Speaker 1: be back with part two of Steve's quarantine life. Right
- 13:42Speaker 1: after this you're listening to show. All right, Steve, time
- 13:48Speaker 1: for part two of your quarantine life story. What's going on? So,
- 13:51Speaker 1: you know, when her little girlfriends came on, I'm trying
- 13:54Speaker 1: to be nice, you know, a whole She's know how
- 13:56Speaker 1: you you know, you know, make your girl flexing fund
- 13:58Speaker 1: of girlfriend. I'm gonna go down and get your bottle
- 14:01Speaker 1: of wine. I go down there. I don't know the
- 14:02Speaker 1: combination to the wine seller. So I say, I don't
- 14:06Speaker 1: know the combination. She come all the way down and said,
- 14:08Speaker 1: she said, you don't know the combination? I said no,
- 14:11Speaker 1: She said, Steve, you don't remember the combination. I don't
- 14:13Speaker 1: really go in here and drink wine, but what's the combination?
- 14:16Speaker 1: So finally we get through that part of it. I
- 14:19Speaker 1: get inside and I reach to get a bottle of wine.
- 14:21Speaker 1: She said, no, get up, go up, hire, Steve. Don't
- 14:24Speaker 1: get nothing down there. It's daytime, saying, a special occasion,
- 14:28Speaker 1: just me and my friends. So I said, okay, So
- 14:30Speaker 1: I reached a little bit hot. She said high and
- 14:32Speaker 1: that okay. I'm six, Yeah, I'm six too. What you
- 14:37Speaker 1: want me to jump for the wine? Now? What you
- 14:38Speaker 1: want me to do? And so I'm trying to figure
- 14:40Speaker 1: out how I'm gonna do this here, and so then
- 14:42Speaker 1: she said, Steve, get a ball of Sessekai. I'm saying, okay, now,
- 14:48Speaker 1: I don't know who Sessekaia is. So I'm reaching up
- 14:51Speaker 1: down and got about six bottle. She said, Steve, that
- 14:53Speaker 1: ain't Sessekai. So I put that battle back. I reached
- 14:56Speaker 1: because I'm trying to read the label. That ain't Sessekaia.
- 14:59Speaker 1: Hey dammy, all this is red wine on this side
- 15:02Speaker 1: over here, so all this is the same color. So like,
- 15:06Speaker 1: so finally I pulled out, SESSI car, you know, we
- 15:08Speaker 1: go on upstairs. They opened it, so I said, cool,
- 15:12Speaker 1: she ups here with her friends. I'm gonna get a
- 15:14Speaker 1: cigar and go out by the pool. So I get
- 15:17Speaker 1: the cigar, I go out by the pool, put my
- 15:19Speaker 1: earbuds in, I got my earthen winding fire. And then
- 15:23Speaker 1: all of a sudden, out here it's nice down here.
- 15:26Speaker 1: I'm turning around and that they was, what the hell,
- 15:32Speaker 1: hih y'all down here? I came down here, took the
- 15:36Speaker 1: wine upstairs for you and your damn friend, full balconies
- 15:40Speaker 1: over here? What did you down here to about this
- 15:42Speaker 1: nice down here? Now? It was nice down here. When
- 15:45Speaker 1: I was down here by my damn self and listening
- 15:49Speaker 1: to this earth winding fire, then her friend, what you're doing, Steve?
- 15:52Speaker 1: I was quiet, you know, I couldn't say it like that.
- 15:57Speaker 1: But so then now they down there talking, So now
- 16:02Speaker 1: I say, man, will let me go upstairs and go outside.
- 16:08Speaker 1: You're fitting to go through the house with the cigar.
- 16:12Speaker 1: Oh no, coming to a little loud and you're at
- 16:17Speaker 1: home just you know, as your friend, colleague and co worker,
- 16:22Speaker 1: co host. I'm just feeling right now. Okay, hold up,
- 16:29Speaker 1: this is what I have decided since my life got
- 16:34Speaker 1: to be like this, since I ain't been right since
- 16:36Speaker 1: March thirteenth, which is when we started the quarantine, because
- 16:41Speaker 1: the show ended. Since I've been in the house since
- 16:43Speaker 1: March thirteenth and I ain't been right, not a damn
- 16:46Speaker 1: day since March thirteenth, then at least you can contribute
- 16:50Speaker 1: to the income factor, and your ass is fitting to
- 16:53Speaker 1: be in this show as a joke. Now, everybody don't
- 16:58Speaker 1: like that. Guess what put that out? That will just
- 17:02Speaker 1: be something else can go into. Call him a Steve Ans,
- 17:05Speaker 1: ain't write no more. You're really loud right now? What
- 17:09Speaker 1: about it? That's something loud, lower your voice. Okay, what
- 17:18Speaker 1: she coming? I want? She would now, yeah, man, care
- 17:29Speaker 1: telling you to be careful coming if she coming here
- 17:33Speaker 1: right now? Snatched mike out this wall. Ye hello, what
- 17:38Speaker 1: y'all like? What y'all playing bad? Connection? Like conection? I
- 17:44Speaker 1: like it? Me back head, I like it. Yeah, it's quarantine, man,
- 17:49Speaker 1: it's just a wo out. Oh my god, any kind
- 17:54Speaker 1: of damn y'ab man, is it anywhere you can go
- 17:57Speaker 1: on and get some privacy? Like anywhere? You thinking this
- 18:00Speaker 1: big ass house? But she find me though, I mean dogs.
- 18:07Speaker 1: Let me tell you this right now. I hadn't been
- 18:09Speaker 1: in the grandkids room, sitting in the floor. You know,
- 18:14Speaker 1: my little grandson's got this racetrack. It's actually pretty cool.
- 18:19Speaker 1: I was up there three days ago. She came up
- 18:21Speaker 1: there and said, oh, you're playing with your kids game.
- 18:24Speaker 1: That's cute. And so I said, so she said, I'm
- 18:27Speaker 1: gonna I'm gonna put this on instagrams. Baby, don't put
- 18:30Speaker 1: this on Instagram. The next thing, I know why you
- 18:33Speaker 1: act like that because I'm playing with a baby race car.
- 18:37Speaker 1: I don't want it on Instagram. What wise I'm acting
- 18:40Speaker 1: like that? She said, Well, you want to race against
- 18:44Speaker 1: me because you don't know how to play people, because
- 18:56Speaker 1: you're gonna lose and get mad about that. Okay, so
- 18:59Speaker 1: y'all know I'm a card shock, right, y'all everybody know

- 30:01Speaker 1: done that. It's too pain Yeah, I couldn't. Is it?
- 30:07Speaker 1: How long does it take? It doesn't take long? Why

- 31:23Speaker 1: just really wanted to wax yourself. You just wanted to
- 31:26Speaker 1: wha answer this? I just wanted to try something that's
- 31:30Speaker 1: all just transact. That's what I was afraid of that answer. Yeah,

- 31:40Speaker 1: walk around with Campo Fonique for about three months. I
- 31:42Speaker 1: ain't like. I just couldn't think it though. I'm sure

- 32:46Speaker 1: including photos and videos of the Class of twenty twenty,

- 32:54Speaker 1: like that. Yeah, yeah, they deserved that the yeah yeah.
- 32:58Speaker 1: And finally, we gotta say this. Some sad news to report.
- 33:03Speaker 1: Little Women of Atlanta star Ashley Roth, they call her
- 33:07Speaker 1: Miss Minie. She passed away from injuries she sustained from
- 33:10Speaker 1: a car accident. It was a hit and run. She
- 33:13Speaker 1: was only thirty four. Yeah, yeah, it really is sad
- 33:18Speaker 1: and I liked her. Time to get caught up now
- 33:21Speaker 1: Steve on Today's news, Ladies and gentlemen, miss Anne Tripp,
- 33:25Speaker 1: thank you very much, everybody here. It comes well as
- 33:27Speaker 1: state and municipalities work on plans to reopen businesses and
- 33:31Speaker 1: offices in public places. Doctor Anthony Fauci, perhaps the most
- 33:35Speaker 1: well known member of the White House Coronavirus Task Force
- 33:38Speaker 1: has delivered a semi suite prediction about the fall to
- 33:41Speaker 1: the Economic Club of Washington, d C. If by that
- 33:44Speaker 1: time we have put into place all of the countermeasures
- 33:48Speaker 1: that you need to address this, we should do reasonably well.
- 33:53Speaker 1: If we don't do that successfully, we could be in
- 33:56Speaker 1: for a bad fall and a bad winter because nineteen,
- 34:00Speaker 1: he says, we'll have never fully gone away or been controlled.
- 34:03Speaker 1: Being my house, so Majority Leader Stenny Hoyer says he's
- 34:05Speaker 1: hesitant about bringing members of the House of Representatives back
- 34:08Speaker 1: to Washington next week because of the danger of coronavirus infection.
- 34:12Speaker 1: Congressman Hoyer says that the attending physician at the Capital,
- 34:16Speaker 1: doctor Brian moynihan, told him that bringing lawmakers back to
- 34:19Speaker 1: the Congress quote was at risk. He would not recommend
- 34:22Speaker 1: taking and bringing the legislators back to the hill by
- 34:24Speaker 1: they would also involve bringing thousands of cafeteria workers back,
- 34:27Speaker 1: Congressional staff and security sent a Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, though,
- 34:32Speaker 1: says he plans to reopen the Senate next weekend. That's
- 34:34Speaker 1: even though COVID nineteen infections are on the rise, with
- 34:37Speaker 1: two suburban counties outside DC in Maryland considered active hotspots.
- 34:41Speaker 1: I told you, yes, it may about an unarmed young

- 34:46Speaker 1: men while merely jogging. Ahmad Abrey, twenty five year old
- 34:50Speaker 1: former high school football player, reportedly an avid runner, but
- 34:53Speaker 1: on a Sunday afternoon in February, after passing the home
- 34:56Speaker 1: of sixty four year old Gregory McMichael, McMichael and his
- 34:59Speaker 1: son Travis, got guns, jumped in their truck, followed him
- 35:02Speaker 1: eventually murdered him. They claimed that he looked like someone
- 35:05Speaker 1: who's been breaking into houses and they only shot, they say,
- 35:08Speaker 1: after calling out to him to stop, even though he
- 35:11Speaker 1: had no burglars tools of him or stolen merchandise. The
- 35:13Speaker 1: white cops accepted their story filed no charges. Well, young
- 35:17Speaker 1: mister Aubrey's coach has contacted me. He tells me that
- 35:20Speaker 1: the white man who shot the twenty five year old
- 35:22Speaker 1: as a former law enforcement officer. The case has been
- 35:25Speaker 1: passed out to a third assistant district attorney, and that
- 35:28Speaker 1: the family and the local NAACP are asking the public
- 35:31Speaker 1: to reach out to the district attorney. His name is
- 35:33Speaker 1: Tom Durton and asked this guy why no charges have
- 35:36Speaker 1: been filed or if he intends to file any. His
- 35:38Speaker 1: email addresses Tom dot Durton du R d E N.
- 35:42Speaker 1: Tom dot Durton at Liberty County, Georgia or GA dot com.
- 35:47Speaker 1: Reacting to recent shutdowns with some meat processing prance plans,
- 35:51Speaker 1: President Trump says he's invoked the Defense Production Act, requiring
- 35:54Speaker 1: those companies to stay open and protect the US food supply. Finally,
- 35:58Speaker 1: today his international dance, Dad, go do something right, especially
- 36:04Speaker 1: if you can't asked by yourself. Now back to Steve
- 36:06Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to Stow Well, Steve, you
- 36:12Speaker 1: and Tommy have been u talking to some of our listeners.
- 36:16Speaker 1: You got a chance to do that while we're in quarantine,
- 36:20Speaker 1: and Steve, you talk to a young lady named Stephanie.
- 36:23Speaker 1: Let's check it out. Hello Stephanie, H Steve, how are
- 36:27Speaker 1: you girl? I mean quarantine? Also, you're looking out the
- 36:33Speaker 1: window jets like you. I feel you. I'm looking out
- 36:37Speaker 1: the window too, So welso you mind, Stephanie. So my
- 36:40Speaker 1: question was I tend to be a planner, and so
- 36:43Speaker 1: I just graduated college, the first of my family, and
- 36:46Speaker 1: I'm just trying to figure things out. I wanted to
- 36:48Speaker 1: know what your advice would be for someone just trying
- 36:50Speaker 1: to figure out things so has a hard time giving
- 36:52Speaker 1: up control. But at the same time, how you go Well,
- 36:55Speaker 1: first of all, congratulations, first warning your family to go
- 36:58Speaker 1: to school to college. Just big. Here's a deal. If
- 37:02Speaker 1: I had known this when I was younger, I would
- 37:05Speaker 1: save myself a lot of pain because the exact same
- 37:09Speaker 1: thing you're talking about describes me exactly because I'm such
- 37:14Speaker 1: a planner. But I wanted to try to control the
- 37:17Speaker 1: situation too. And when once you try to control tomorrow,
- 37:21Speaker 1: you're going to be forever frustrated because you cannot control tomorrow.
- 37:28Speaker 1: That is not a living soul on this planet Earth
- 37:31Speaker 1: never has been that control what happens in the future.
- 37:35Speaker 1: So you can have gold for the future, Stephanie, but
- 37:40Speaker 1: you cannot put the burden of trying to control it
- 37:43Speaker 1: because you're going to be frustrated. You can't control tomorrow.
- 37:47Speaker 1: You know tomorrow is supposed to be a thunderstorm tomorrow,
- 37:51Speaker 1: so you get ready for the thunderstorm. But the weather
- 37:53Speaker 1: man didn't tell you a tornado was coming. See, it's
- 37:56Speaker 1: always something and so as a planner here that's what
- 38:00Speaker 1: I'll suggest that you do. I take all those dreams
- 38:04Speaker 1: and visions and all my plans and hopes and aspirations,
- 38:07Speaker 1: and I take them to God, and I ask God
- 38:10Speaker 1: to line them up with his plan for me. Not
- 38:14Speaker 1: an average person don't want to do that because they
- 38:17Speaker 1: always thank God's plans. They're gonna go down to church
- 38:20Speaker 1: and serve the Lord and be down that church five
- 38:22Speaker 1: days a week. That ain't God's plan for everybody. That
- 38:25Speaker 1: ain't his plan for me. He turned me into a
- 38:28Speaker 1: global citizen. I can't go to church at the same
- 38:32Speaker 1: place every day some people can. So take your plans
- 38:36Speaker 1: and aspirations and give it to God and ask God
- 38:40Speaker 1: to line your plans up with his plans for you.
- 38:43Speaker 1: You did. That's my advice. Keep dreaming. If you don't,
- 38:51Speaker 1: never stop dreaming. You got big dog. Go ahead, man.
- 38:58Speaker 1: We appreciate you listening. Stephanie, she was from Atlanta. Thank
- 39:02Speaker 1: you so much for listening. We appreciate it. Coming up next,
- 39:05Speaker 1: our nephew Tommy is going to check in with some
- 39:08Speaker 1: of our loyal listeners too. I told you we love everybody.
- 39:11Speaker 1: Coming up in thirty four minutes after the hour, it
- 39:14Speaker 1: is time for ask the CLO. The Chief Love Officer.
- 39:17Speaker 1: Steve Harvey will do that right after this. You're listening
- 39:21Speaker 1: to the Steven Show. All right, guys, time now for
- 39:25Speaker 1: ask the CLO. He is in the building, the Chief
- 39:28Speaker 1: Love Officer. Please submit your questions at Steve Harvey FM
- 39:32Speaker 1: dot com. Now, Steve. This one is from Norah. She's
- 39:36Speaker 1: an iHeartRadio app listener. Nora says, my husband and I
- 39:40Speaker 1: are newly weds and he moved into my house after
- 39:43Speaker 1: we got married. We have two cats and one of
- 39:46Speaker 1: them sleeps in our bedroom. My husband loves to cuddle
- 39:49Speaker 1: all night with the cat that sleeps with us, so
- 39:52Speaker 1: the cat is in the way of our marital activities
- 39:55Speaker 1: at night. My husband likes cuddling with the wrong kitty.
- 40:00Speaker 1: So I moved the cat to our guest room last
- 40:02Speaker 1: night and my husband flipped out. This is a turn off.
- 40:06Speaker 1: How do I fix this? See, well, the problem is
- 40:11Speaker 1: not with the cat. The problem is with the dog.
- 40:16Speaker 1: See something is wrong here. Look why must I feel
- 40:26Speaker 1: like that Khama's I chase the cat? Nothing but the
- 40:32Speaker 1: dog in me the cat. Obviously, your man is not
- 40:38Speaker 1: a cute Your man is something else. Because the cat
- 40:43Speaker 1: that we are referring to it's the real kitty cat,
- 40:48Speaker 1: not an actual cat. So you anytime a man see
- 40:55Speaker 1: this is really getting close to borderline ugly. This ain't
- 40:59Speaker 1: animal love it. This is a little something else here
- 41:02Speaker 1: infer You prefer the affection of an animal over your wife.
- 41:08Speaker 1: This is some type of therapy. Yeah, she said it's
- 41:10Speaker 1: a turn off tooth Steve. It's a turnoff. Ain't the
- 41:14Speaker 1: one turned their own? Is hum the cat problem was
- 41:17Speaker 1: glad to go into me? Just on me. I'm trying
- 41:23Speaker 1: to see get your ass off for me? What is
- 41:27Speaker 1: she in here? Fault? Right? So I don't know what
- 41:30Speaker 1: to tell you, lady, that's not the problem. I wish
- 41:33Speaker 1: I would have an animal in the bay and you're
- 41:36Speaker 1: cuddling with the cat and not your web wife. Come on, okay,
- 41:41Speaker 1: my next thing. We don't have to get out of
- 41:43Speaker 1: this one because my next comment cannot be on that. Okay.
- 41:46Speaker 1: Tony from Kanye's Georgia says, I'm a good man and
- 41:51Speaker 1: I'm in love with the player that only cares about
- 41:54Speaker 1: sex and money. I think she's dating multiple men, but
- 41:57Speaker 1: I have never caught her doing anything. I give her
- 42:00Speaker 1: money for her hair and nails, and I give her
- 42:02Speaker 1: money toward her mortgage, but she didn't want to be
- 42:05Speaker 1: quarantine to me, he says. I made sure she had
- 42:09Speaker 1: groceries the first two weeks, but now she barely takes
- 42:12Speaker 1: my calls because she says she's having a hard time
- 42:15Speaker 1: being in the house alone. I don't think she's alan.
- 42:18Speaker 1: What do you think, Well, okay, Broun, come on, First
- 42:21Speaker 1: of all, this letter had sugar Daddy road all over
- 42:27Speaker 1: and you have to know what you are. And if
- 42:30Speaker 1: she ain't taking your calls because she's having a hard
- 42:34Speaker 1: time dealing with being a loan in the house, it
- 42:37Speaker 1: means she ain't a loan in the house. It's hard
- 42:39Speaker 1: to take a phone call doing quarantine. You're not even
- 42:42Speaker 1: getting a return on your investment, and as a man,
- 42:47Speaker 1: that's one thing we got to get it, some type
- 42:49Speaker 1: of return on investment. It's the wrong chick man. You
- 42:52Speaker 1: could take this love and you got and give it
- 42:54Speaker 1: to somebody who really wanted and appreciate it. You're wasting
- 42:57Speaker 1: your time with her. You think she's a player because
- 43:00Speaker 1: he is a player. Yeah, yeah, you just thought that
- 43:03Speaker 1: you helping her with giving her money, get her nails
- 43:06Speaker 1: done and all this hill y'all living in Atlanta, Conyers, Georgia, Steve. Okay,
- 43:12Speaker 1: she drove up this weekend, get her nails done. Stay
- 43:15Speaker 1: y'all's ass at home issue. Yeah, and Lennox is opening
- 43:22Speaker 1: up this weekend. Oh lord. This one's from We're Moving
- 43:25Speaker 1: on See. This one's from Leanne and Jelly at Illinois.
- 43:29Speaker 1: She says, I've been married for I've been married for
- 43:31Speaker 1: five years, and for the past two months I've been
- 43:34Speaker 1: getting calls from a random chick that says she's sleeping
- 43:36Speaker 1: with my husband. She says she works with me. My
- 43:38Speaker 1: husband says he's not messing with anyone, and it's got
- 43:41Speaker 1: to be a prank. Oh. I got his phone number
- 43:44Speaker 1: changed two days ago, and she called me and said
- 43:46Speaker 1: she has the new number, and she read it off
- 43:49Speaker 1: to me. My husband said, it's a coincidence that she
- 43:51Speaker 1: knows the number. Is he a liar? It's a incidence
- 44:00Speaker 1: that she got the number. Who did it? Out? Ride
- 44:09Speaker 1: it out? All right? We gotta go. Coming up next
- 44:12Speaker 1: to Nephew is here with today's prank phone call. Right
- 44:15Speaker 1: after this, you're listening Steve Morning Show. Coming up at
- 44:21Speaker 1: the top of the hour. Right about four minutes after,
- 44:23Speaker 1: it's my Strawberry letter for today's subject my neighbor's daughter.
- 44:27Speaker 1: And right before we get to the prank, phone call
- 44:29Speaker 1: with the nephew, Steve, you've got to finish this response
- 44:33Speaker 1: before we went to break. This woman wanted to know
- 44:37Speaker 1: is her husband cheating on her? Basically with this woman
- 44:41Speaker 1: that she works with, her husband just says it's a
- 44:44Speaker 1: coincidence that she knows his number and the wo number
- 44:49Speaker 1: the lady switched to number this woman had been called
- 44:51Speaker 1: in the house for a couple of months. He said
- 44:53Speaker 1: he as cheating on nobody. She changes his number. She
- 44:57Speaker 1: get a call back from the lady saying she got
- 44:59Speaker 1: the new number, and repeated the number to her. She
- 45:02Speaker 1: got the new number she switched to. The man says,
- 45:05Speaker 1: just a coincidence. Me, Tommy and Junior busted out last. Yes,
- 45:10Speaker 1: a liar, it's her dogs. Didn't get ten damn digits
- 45:19Speaker 1: dog if he if if, if she can do that,
- 45:22Speaker 1: she should be playing Powerball every month. Gohad, you ain't
- 45:29Speaker 1: gotta get but some of them damn numbers. All right,
- 45:33Speaker 1: let's get to this prank with the nephew. Thank you, Steve,
- 45:35Speaker 1: what you got for us today. Now my mama's trade.
- 45:39Speaker 1: My mama trade. Let's go Hello, Hello, man, I speak

- 45:58Speaker 1: Clayton Street and hit and tow all the limbs off
- 46:01Speaker 1: my mama maple tree that's hanging over the street. And
- 46:04Speaker 1: now she got limbs hanging all in the street. We
- 46:05Speaker 1: got to cut this whole tree down because you didn't
- 46:08Speaker 1: mess it up. And you're the one that just drove
- 46:10Speaker 1: through here. Hey, sir, I ain't been down Clayton Street today, Sir,

- 46:27Speaker 1: then you just came down the street and just tore
- 46:29Speaker 1: it all apart. Sir, I ain't been down Clayton Road today.

- 47:04Speaker 1: Now you didn't gonna do it, planet it move to
- 47:06Speaker 1: my then cut the branches off to some of the
- 47:09Speaker 1: if them branches. It's clear enough you're not supposed to
- 47:12Speaker 1: be driving them at will trucks down this residential area
- 47:14Speaker 1: like this here, man, I was making delivery. Guy. Now,
- 47:18Speaker 1: if I had to come down that tree, I would have.

- 48:17Speaker 1: tell you what if I was on playing the street today,
- 48:20Speaker 1: I met Donna play the street with the tree. You
- 48:23Speaker 1: come on over here to Clayton right now, because I'm

- 48:40Speaker 1: down the tree. I know you ain't sitting here talking
- 48:43Speaker 1: about my mama. No see you tripping no dog and
- 48:46Speaker 1: tripping dog. You are ready. Look, man, I grew up
- 48:49Speaker 1: with this tree in my front yard. I grew up
- 48:52Speaker 1: with this tree. Now you got the nerve to drive
- 48:54Speaker 1: to hell and driving too fast because if you're the
- 48:57Speaker 1: droll slow, you wouldn't have been hitting all them lives

- 53:58Speaker 1: It is a set City thank you. Subject my neighbor's daughter.
- 54:03Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm a fifty two year old widower.
- 54:07Speaker 1: I lost my wife four years ago and I've recently
- 54:10Speaker 1: started dating again. I live in a great neighborhood and
- 54:13Speaker 1: my neighbors have been very supportive while I'm adjusting to
- 54:17Speaker 1: being singles. I'm really cool with one of my college
- 54:20Speaker 1: buddies that lives around the corner from me. He has
- 54:23Speaker 1: grown kids and he and his wife own a gas station.
- 54:26Speaker 1: They are a central workers, so they aren't at home
- 54:29Speaker 1: a lot. He had mentioned that their daughter is staying
- 54:33Speaker 1: with them during the pandemic, and I happened to run
- 54:36Speaker 1: into her one day while I was out jogging. I
- 54:38Speaker 1: hadn't seen her in years, so I had no idea
- 54:41Speaker 1: who she was. We greeted each other and that was it.
- 54:45Speaker 1: The next day I went jogging again, hoping to run
- 54:47Speaker 1: into her. Well, I did, and when I saw her,
- 54:51Speaker 1: she said she was glad to see me again too.
- 54:54Speaker 1: I told her I was a widower, and she told
- 54:57Speaker 1: me that she was back in town for a month
- 54:59Speaker 1: or two. She's thirty and gorgeous, and she likes to
- 55:02Speaker 1: jog and biker shorts so that all of her assets
- 55:06Speaker 1: are always out. I never had such an awesome and
- 55:09Speaker 1: instant physical attraction to a woman. It blew my mind.
- 55:14Speaker 1: I'm really starting to develop feelings for her, and we've
- 55:17Speaker 1: spent almost every afternoon together. Now I'm wondering if it's
- 55:21Speaker 1: time to come clean and stop hiding our relationship from
- 55:24Speaker 1: her parents. It's a tricky situation, but I didn't know
- 55:27Speaker 1: this girl when she was growing up, and I'm not
- 55:30Speaker 1: really that close to her parents. We would love to
- 55:33Speaker 1: have their blessings before we're intimate. She is grown, but
- 55:38Speaker 1: still terrified of what her parents will do and say.
- 55:41Speaker 1: How should I approach this subject? Please advise Wow, First
- 55:47Speaker 1: of all, sorry for your loss, and yeah, I gotta
- 55:53Speaker 1: tell you this is a big problem. I think this
- 55:56Speaker 1: is a problem. You may not think so right now,
- 55:59Speaker 1: because the heart loves what it loves and wants what
- 56:01Speaker 1: it wants and all of that. But didn't you say
- 56:04Speaker 1: this was your college buddy's daughter. I mean, you said
- 56:09Speaker 1: also that she's thirty and grown and all of that.
- 56:12Speaker 1: But just think about it. I mean, would you be
- 56:15Speaker 1: so cool and and everything if your college buddy that
- 56:19Speaker 1: you're so cool with was doing your daughter. I mean,
- 56:23Speaker 1: just put yourself in his position once he finds out.
- 56:27Speaker 1: And what about this? You put this in the letter.
- 56:30Speaker 1: In the beginning of the letter, you said you guys
- 56:32Speaker 1: were cool. You know, he lives around the corner, he
- 56:35Speaker 1: and his wife. They have a business, their essential workers
- 56:38Speaker 1: in their gas station. You know, you said all of that.
- 56:40Speaker 1: But by the end of the letter, now you're saying
- 56:43Speaker 1: you're not really that close to her parents and you
- 56:45Speaker 1: didn't know her growing up. But is that really true?
- 56:48Speaker 1: I mean, I think you you guys, meaning of course
- 56:52Speaker 1: you and her parents are pretty tight, and you're now
- 56:55Speaker 1: you're just trying to, you know, say you're not that
- 56:57Speaker 1: close so you can justify your feelings for their daughter,
- 57:00Speaker 1: and you know the fact that you're trying to get
- 57:02Speaker 1: with her, So you're kind of changing up a little
- 57:05Speaker 1: bit because you want to get with the daughter because
- 57:08Speaker 1: she wears biker shorts and all her assets are always
- 57:11Speaker 1: out and all that. You know what, I think you're
- 57:14Speaker 1: gonna have to leave her alone. I think you're asking
- 57:17Speaker 1: for trouble in this situation. That's your friend's daughter. I
- 57:21Speaker 1: don't think he's gonna be happy about you dating his daughter,
- 57:25Speaker 1: and I think you need to move on. Plenty of
- 57:27Speaker 1: women out there, plenty of good women. Pick someone else. Steve,
- 57:31Speaker 1: y'all know that I'm not good at this type of letter,
- 57:36Speaker 1: So before I say something, I want to apologize up
- 57:42Speaker 1: front for anything that I might say. A disclaimer. Yeah,
- 57:47Speaker 1: I'm just saying this, Carcino, just Strawberry Lett. I ain't
- 57:50Speaker 1: on therapists. I ain't going to school for this, right,
- 57:52Speaker 1: you know I ain't. I'm trying to help you, but
- 57:54Speaker 1: if I can't, you know what you want me to do.
- 57:58Speaker 1: So once I find out I can't help, yeah, I
- 58:00Speaker 1: don't know what to tell you. Then I go to
- 58:02Speaker 1: what I do know, which is my comedy. He it
- 58:05Speaker 1: is you live in a great neighborhood. You a widderer.
- 58:08Speaker 1: I lost my wife four years ago. Oh I see,
- 58:11Speaker 1: oh oh see, I didn't hear that. Oh so you
- 58:17Speaker 1: this lady. Okay, she already gay. Oh okay, that's oh
- 58:23Speaker 1: that's different. Four years ago and I haven't started dating again.
- 58:27Speaker 1: So you know you lost her four years ago? Oh wider,
- 58:30Speaker 1: that means she died, okay him, I just thought like
- 58:33Speaker 1: she y'all went to the mall and then you can't
- 58:35Speaker 1: find her. Oh huh what I just just misread. I
- 58:40Speaker 1: lost my wife four years ago, which and I didn't
- 58:43Speaker 1: you know who widower part died. It wasn't quite coming
- 58:47Speaker 1: up with that. You know, y'all had went to the
- 58:50Speaker 1: malls and got lost and you ain't found. I don't
- 58:53Speaker 1: know what it was. Yeah, four years I just stopped
- 58:59Speaker 1: looking at the you know, I'm adjusting to being single,
- 59:05Speaker 1: and I'm really cool with one of my college buddies. Yeah,
- 59:10Speaker 1: I'm gonna quickly looking after that, because you know, especially
- 59:12Speaker 1: if I'm jogging, I see somebody, fine, you know, she
- 59:16Speaker 1: ain't been home in a while. Anyway. I lived round
- 59:21Speaker 1: the corner from college buddy that stayed around the corner
- 59:24Speaker 1: from me. He got these grown ass kids, and he
- 59:27Speaker 1: and his wife on a gas station. They ain't home
- 59:29Speaker 1: a lot, and he mentioned his daughter staying with them,
- 59:32Speaker 1: doing the pandemic. Now, having to run into her. One
- 59:35Speaker 1: day while I was out jogging. I ain't seen it
- 59:37Speaker 1: in years, so I had no idea who she was.
- 59:40Speaker 1: We greeted each other and that was it. Next day
- 59:42Speaker 1: I went jogging, hoping to run into again. I did.
- 59:45Speaker 1: I saw she was glad to see me again. I
- 59:47Speaker 1: told him I was a wider, and she told me
- 59:49Speaker 1: she was back in town for a month or two.
- 59:51Speaker 1: She thirty and gorgeous. She likes your jog, getting Baker shorts.
- 59:54Speaker 1: All her assets is all the way out now in
- 59:57Speaker 1: this the pandemic, right, yeah, y'all jog and mighty close.
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: All right, don't sound like a six foot away job
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: to me. Hold on a minute, crime man. We'll have
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: part two of Steve's threeponds coming up in twenty three
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: minutes after the hour. The subject today is my neighbor's daughter,
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: who'll get back into it right after this. You're listening
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: to show, all right, Steve, Come on, let's recap today
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: Strawberry letters. Subject my neighbor's daughter. Yeah. So, like I said,
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: you know, the fifty year year old dude lost his
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: wife somehow. I didn't quite get that in the beginning.
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: I thought they was at a mall, that they was
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: holding hands and she got away from him. He was
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: in the mall getting peggy. Hegel, have you seen a
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: little short lady with black level? And I thought this
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: was but that was a deaf heire, not a lost
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: I thought that she had just quit looking for after
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: four years. Anyway, he said, I'm adjusting a single wife. Yeah,
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: I know. I was. I really cool with one of
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: my college buddies that stayed rounding the corner, and they
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: got these grown kids. And then so day had sent
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: your worked dain't home. He mentioned that daughter was staying
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: with him doing the pandemic, and I happen to run
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: into her one day while I was jogging. I hadn't
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: seen her in years, so I had no idea who
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: she was. So y'all spoke to each other and that
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: was it. Next day, you out running and you hope
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: that you run into it, while I did, And when
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: I saw she said she was glad to see me
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: again too. I told her I was a widower, and
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: she told me she was back in town for a
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: month or two. She is thirty, lord, gorgeous. She liked
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: the jogging biker shouts. Oh yeah, six all out. I've
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: never had an awesome and instant physical attraction to a woman.
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: It blew my mind. I started developing feelings for her.
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: We spent almost every afternoon together. Now I wonder if
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: it's time to come clean and stop hiding our relationship
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: from her parents. What, dude, you feel to go to
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: your boy that you went to college with and tell
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: him that you hadn't met his daughter and y'all hit,
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: y'all kicking it now? He say, it's a tricky situation.
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: But I didn't know this girl when she was growing up,
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: and I ain't really that close to her parents. Now
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: you don't know the dude. Yeah see see he was
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: a real cool buddy around the corner in college. Yeah,
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: this I asked for me. Dog you feel to get
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: you feel? To get stumped now? And I really we
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: would love to have their blessings before we're intimate. Okay,
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: dog you you bro, you fifty two, You lost your wife.
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: You ain't said if you got kids or nothing. You're
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: gonna go to this dude and we won't say blessings.
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: Anybody fee to bless this dog and dog, dog parents
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: don't bless this. Now you you grown and she grown.
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: You can do what you want to do, but ain't
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: you ain't even get no blessing with this dog. Blessing.
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: You're gonna get taught a lesson, but there ain't gonna
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: be no blessing. She has grown, but still terrified of
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: what her parents will do in satan. Well it's an
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: older man. Y'all then talked about it. They know that
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: her parents know you. How should I approach this subject?
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: Please advisee dog, you got to be out your rabbits. Dog.
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: You're gonna go tell this dude that you you you're
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: sleeping with his baby and you think you're fee to
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: be all right with his partner. Dog. Me and time
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: we got daughters on this show. We're not fitting to
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: be cool with you, dog, We're not fitting to be
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: cool with you. I was never cool with none of
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: them dudes. My daughter's been bought by not a nattering
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: one of them, and til two of them got married,
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: all the rest of them is on my sugar honey
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: iced tea lists, and as soon as I can do
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: something about it, I am trust and Beliegue. Oh, trust
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: and Beliegue. Once you get on that list with me, Steve,
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: I got something for you. I'm not playing with your
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: monkey ass. So he's not gonna be playing with you.
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: You're gonna get your ass with when you deserve it.
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: Yes and literally due all. You think he was crying
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: four years ago? You were you waiting? He started woman
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: when he lost his wife at the Marne. Yeah, gay, yeah, man,
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: this this ain't the dog. Plenty of women out here.
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: You can't take this to this man and expected to
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: go no other way. Sept wrong. He's not gonna want
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: you looking at his daughter like that. Dog. I know
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: she fine, she fatty, I know she gorgeous. I bet
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: she is. Man, you want to date again, dog, date

- 1:05:52Speaker 1: you have to offer this girl? Man? You're gonna get
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: your Asshi partner that this ain't gonna go good? Move
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: it along. Yeah, And he's still at that age where
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: he in the ass whooping range too slow hands school
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: be a slow fight. But the dudes in their fifties
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: they still got hands, So try do pot yo and sixties.
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: We damn show got hand. You just ain't got no

- 1:07:20Speaker 1: do for a living, Terry? Actually, I worked at Detroit
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: Receiving Hospital. I work in the environmental service department. That's
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: why I said, I'm trying to stay kovie free. But
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: I'm doing good right now. Add yeah, I'm right in
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: the middle of well man, we take our hat off
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: to you, brother, for getting up every morning, going to

- 1:07:40Speaker 1: well man. Oh yeah, that's why. You know what I
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: taught me. I was telling them every time you look up,
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: they're talking about thanks to the nurses and doctors. They
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: don't know we got you know, we have to go
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: and clean up the mess and all that kind of
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: stuff that is after the kovie free people. I was like,
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: I guess they think that the nurses and the doctors
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: the only ones that do something man at the hospitals
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: or something. Well, I tell you what spot like what
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: you do right now? Tell me what is your job description?
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: What I do? I strip and waxed all the floors
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: and clean the carpet and all that kind of stuff.
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: At the hospital. So wow, you're still in the thick
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: of it though. Man, Oh yeah, without a doubt. Well,
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: what you do man, when you get home, Man, when
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: you just want to relax, what you're doing? Man? You
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: know what, when I get home, I take them clothes
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: off down in the basement and take my bath and
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: I chill out into time to go back to work.
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: You know. Yeah, Wow, it's all Hey, look, I'm the
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: only one here, so I don't have to worry about
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: nobody coming to give me nothing. You know, you stay
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: strong at work, man, be say brother, all right, you too,
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: may man take care checking the show man? All right,
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: ain't timmy? That was slick man that that's really great
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: to do that, ain't knowing? Man. It really brought out
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: a point because we think the doctors and nurses, but
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: all the hospital workers, the delivery down there, the maintenance people. Man,
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: that people that work down stairs in the corner's office,
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: the people that's working at the clerical desk, checking people
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: in an emergency room to eer them. Yeah, man, we're
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: not We're not everybody to work at that hospital, like
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: you said, sure, the cafeterier, the damn gift shop people,
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: many people going in there. Every day man putting their
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: life on the line, trying to keep the place sanitizing stuff.
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: So we got to take our hot a specially up
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: in Detroit, man, because Detroit got hit it. Man, it's
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: getting hit hard up there in Detroit, Man. A great job,
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: Tommy checking in. I like that. Yeah, all right, all right.
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, guys, what's
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: up with COVID nineteen testing. I will talk about that
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to show the number of
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: coronavirus cases in the US is topped over one million. Now, wow,
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: that's all right. The country is trying to prepare to reopen.
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: That's so many people. I mean, that's a devastating number.
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: Country is trying to prepare to reopen. However, there's still
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: issues like fear of meat shortages with meat plants closing
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: down due to employees contracting the virus, but the President
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: has ordered those plants to remain open under the Defense Act. Also,
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: the airline industry is another one. It's trying to get
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: flights in the air Again. Some airlines are not selling
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: the middle seats and others are requiring passengers to wear masks.
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: We already know that Georgia, Texas, Michigan, Hawaii, Oklahoma, Tennessee
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: have started to reopen. Next these states Florida, Missouri, Alabama,
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: Wiscontinent Kentucky are making preparations to reopen to help their economy.
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: But what is up with the testing? All right? We
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: keep hearing we need more testing, we need more testing
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: to get the country back open. Well, the goal of
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: the test is to identify people who might spread the
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: virus or isolate or have them quarantine so they will
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: not reinfect people. So why hasn't the FDA organized our testing? Um?
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: You know that's a question for the ages. I guess, Um,
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: the government is leaving it up to the states. You
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: can say to do a lot of this. But um,
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: if you're if you're listening, um, Steve, there is a
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: website people can go to to find out where to
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: get tested in their area. Yeah. I think it's a CDC.
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: That's a Center for Disease Control dot org, dot dot gov,
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: dot gov. I'm sorry, dot dot gov is CDC dot
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: gov dot You can go there and they'll give you
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: information on the one eight hundred number or how you
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: go online to set up your appointment to go get tested. Yeah,
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: I understand that it's a little different in each state,
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: so you have to have the number for your state.
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: But everybody listening you there's a way to get tested.
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: The problem is we haven't. We're not telling our people
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: how they can get tested, or go to CDC dot
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: gov and find out the number and where you can
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: register to call in and get yourself tested. Now, if
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: you get let me just say this from what I
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: know as a fact. If you get tested and it
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: comes up negative, that don't mean you free to just
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: go back to work. That means you just haven't contracted it.
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: And whatever you've been doing has been working as far
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: as social distancing or quarantining or staying at home or whatever,
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: and you should continue that. It doesn't mean you're free up,
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: you immune to it or nothing like that. So we're
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: still going to have to practice even as these places
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: open back up, y'all. We got to use our common
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: sense here in terms of what's smart for us. You're
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: still gonna have to practice social distancing. You're still gonna
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: have to wear these masks, and you still got to
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: stay away from highly populated areas. That's just those are
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: the common sense thing. Now, if you test positive. You
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: gotta get in there and get some type of service
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: and they find out what they can do for you
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: if they if you need to be admitted or you
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: need to go and get quarantine and follow their instructions.
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: I don't know what that is great information, Steve, that
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: that is really good information. But Tommy, you ask, what's
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: so hard about that? What's so hard about inside? Some people?
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: It is really hard for them to stay inside. It
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: really is. For some reason, virus or not. Some people
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: get so worked up about this stuff that you just
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: lose it. And I think if we had some kind
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: of national leadership with this testing, if it was organized better,
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: then these states can all roll out together the plan.
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: It's just no organization. It's chaotic. But yeah, the president
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: doesn't want to bear any responsibility for it, so he's
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: turning it on the state twent a minute ago. He's
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: the president. He can do what he want to do,
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: but he trying to dodge the bullet on this one.
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: Exactly right, exactly all right. Coming up, we'll have more
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: of today's trending stories on the Steve Harvey Morning Show,
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: and we'll be back at twenty minutes after the hour.
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: Right after this you're listening to show. Well. On Monday,
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: we told you about that reckless house party in Chicago.
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: Remember that, with over one thousand partygoers, it was streamed live. Well.
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: The owner of the building has been fined and cited
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: for her disorderly conduct, and her adult son is to blame.
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: He had the keys to the place and disarmed the
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: alarm and through the party. Chicago's Mayor Lori Lightfoot went
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: in on the party goers, saying that millennials are in
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: their twenties, but they are functioning adult and we expect
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: them to act responsibly, particularly during a pandemic. I mean absolutely, yeah. Look,
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: millennials are not children. Millennials are supposed to be our
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: brightest generation. They're the future. Got to act like it.
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: Do you must around man see? And it's now. Young
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: people are dying from this. Do you understand this? A
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: twenty five year old just died the other day, a
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: friend of a friend. I'm telling you, young people can
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: die from this now. Even if you contracted and your
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: body can handle it and your immune system is fine,
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: what about when you take it home to your auntie
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: and your mother and your grandmother, your daddy and you
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: kill everybody in your house because you wants to go
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: to the party. It ain't that serious, man, I guess
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: to some it all up, Steve to young people without
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: you know, being preachy, and you know we were in
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: our twenties at one time. We get that part. But
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: this is a little more serious. This is a pandemic
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: yet people, you know, come on now. All right, we'll
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show and some
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: trending news at thirty three minutes after the hour. Right
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: after this, you're listening to Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve,
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: time for part two of your quarantine life story. What's
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: going on? So, you know, when our little girlfriends came home,
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: I'm trying to be nice. You know, ho shit on you,
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: you know, you know, make your girl flexing fund of girlfriends.
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: I'm gonna go down and get your bottle of wine.
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: I go down there. I don't know the combination to
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: the wine seller, So I say, I don't know the combination.
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: She come all the way down and says, she said,
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: you don't know the combination. I said no, She says, Steve,
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: you don't remember the combination. I don't really go in
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: here on drink wine. They just what's the combination. Finally
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: we get through that part of it. I get inside
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: and I reach to get a bottle of one. She said, no,
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: get up, go up higher, Steve. Don't get nothing down there.
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: It's daytime, saying a special occasion, just me and my friends.
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: So I said, okay, So I reached a little bit high.
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: She said high and that yeah, I'm six too. Want
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: you want me to jump for the one? And what
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: you want me to do? And so I'm trying to
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: figure out how I'm gonna do this here and so
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: then she said, Steve, get a ball of Sessekaia. I'm saying, okay. Now,
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: I don't know who Sessekaia is. So I'm reaching up
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: down and got about six bottles. She said, Steve, that
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: ain't Sessekaia. So I put that battle back. I reach
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: because I'm trying to read the labels. That ain't Sessekaia.
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: Hey damn all, this is red wine on this side
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: over here, so all it's the same color. They're like no.
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: So finally I pulled out sessekai you know, we go
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: on upstairs. They open it. So I said, cool, she
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: ups here with her friends. I'm gonna get a cigar,
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: go out by the pool. So I get the cigar,
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: I go out by the pool, put my ear buds in,
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: I got my earth been winding fire. And then all
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: of a sudden, out here it's nice down here. I'm
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: turning around and that they was, what the hell, hih
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: y'all down here? I came down here, took the wine
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: upstairs for you and your damn friend, fought balconies over here.
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: What did you down here? Somebody? This nice downhill? Now?
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: It was nice down here when I was down here
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: by my damn self and listening to this earth winding fire.
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: Then her friend, what you're doing, Steve? I was quiet,
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: you know, I couldn't say it like that. But so
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: then nah, they down there talking. So now I say, man,
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: will let me go upstairs and go outside. You finning
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: go through the house with the cigar. Oh no, no,
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: this is my head is happening right now. Okay, But see,
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: hold up, though, shut hold up though. See this is
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: what I have decided. What is since my life got
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: to be like this? Since I ain't been right since
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: March thirteenth, which is when we started the quarantine, because
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: the show ended. Since I've been in the house since
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: March thirteen, and I ain't been writing not a damn
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: day since March thirteenth. Then at least you can contribute
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: to the income factor. And your ass is fitting to
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: be in this show. As a joke, I'm local now.
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: Everybody don't like that. Guess what put that out? That
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: will just be something else can go into call him
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: with Steve ass Ain't right, No, coming up our last
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: break of the day, the last breakas day you're thinking,
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: and then we'll have some closing remarks. You'll get it
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: together by forty nine minutes after right after this you're
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: listening show all right here we are, last break of
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: the day. It's been a good day when yeah, yeah,
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: very informative. Yep, we did um yeah, y'all. You know listen,
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: let me say this in my close remarks. It's a
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: couple of things I want to touch on. First of all,
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: as they reopen this country as uh hey uh, as
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: as we close, as I do my clothing today, I
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: want to just touch on a couple of subjects, you know,
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: as this country slowly reopens, and it is doing that
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: because now a number of states are talking about slowly
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: opening to get the economy back moving again. The economy
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: is important, but what's wrong with this country is the
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: economy is the most important thing to this country. It
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: is not the health and welfare of the people. And
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: that is quite obvious from the top administration in this
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: country inside of that White House. We still have not
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: heard a definitive plan nationwide to curb this except stay home. Well,
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: now they're saying don't stay home when they still don't
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: have enough people tested. There's one million cases of this
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: in the United States and we have no idea how
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: many people have it. These are just certified cases COVID
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: nineteen a million, and we still haven't tested ten percent
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: of the population. We have not tested thirty five million people.
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: We have it, but it's a million people got it.
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: And so we're dealing with the government man who's so
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: concerned with getting the account back open that they they're
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: willing to risk lives to get it back going again.
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: And right now it's just the numbers game. See if
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: you don't think that government has set down and said, well,
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: if it gets really bad, how many could we lose?
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: It's like it's like when they go to war, and
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: before they go to war, they have projections if they
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: make a move to do this or if they make
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: a move to that, then when they get in those
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: situation rooms, they come up with a tally of what
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: they think the death told could be and that helps
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: them decide whether they do the mission or not. They
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: talk about how many lives we can do, how many
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: casualties will we have. This is a real fact of war.
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: We are at war with the invisible enemy. And if
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: you don't think for one moment that this government has
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: a room somewhere deciding that if we open this country
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: back up, how many cases will we have, how many
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: can we get into the hospitals, and how many of
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: those are we losing. They're looking at the percentage of
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: people that they're losing versus the number of cases that
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: they have, and that is real numbers to them, twelve
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: percent of people that contracted, let's just say twelve percent die.
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: Then guess what then? They know if we get this
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: thing and it's snowballs, owners, we'll have this and we'll
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: have these many depths, and you know what, they've decided
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: it's worth it because they're opening the country back up,
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: and so many people want to go back to work,
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: and so many people need to go back to work,
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: because I got news for you. If you think this
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: twelve hundred dollars checker is gonna fix it for you,
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: it ain't. And quick getting excited about something that she
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: owes anyway, Donald Trump not sending you money. You're a taxpayer.
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: You've paid. I've trust me. If you've been in this
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: earth long enough, you've paid twelve hundred dollars in taxes.
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: They're not giving you nothing. So let's stop getting excited
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: about that now. The second part of this and also
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: in Atlanta, that opened it up Linux Mall, one of
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: the most popular malls in this city, which is a
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: hotbed for some problems right now. But the problems were
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: pale a comparison because somebody gonna go to that mall
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: and gonna end up dead because they went to the
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: mall to buy what y'all listen to me, Slow down
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: a little bit, continue to practice social distancing, continue to
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: wear your mask, continue to stay home as much as
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: you can. We just a little bit too early. Do
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: I want to go back? Yes. If you live in
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: an apartment and you don't have a balcony, I feel
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: for you. It's cooped up, But go outside. Put your mask,
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: gonna go outside, walk to a park, walk down the street,
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: you see people coming, walk out, stay away from each other,
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: go for a walk through. Something is too soon. But
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: now that leads me to the last part of it.
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: We're in this predicament. And I'm telling you we are
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: because we didn't jump on this thing when we should have.
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: And had we had the proper leadership and jumped on
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: this thing early, this thing would not be the way
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: it is. This is the United States of America, supposedly
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: the most powerful and richest country in the nation in
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: the world. The reason we're not solving this problem with
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: these ppe items and these masks and these shields and
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: these gowns and these coverings and all this here is
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: because people have to make money. They're not voluntarily giving
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: this stuff away over here. Somebody got it. They're making money.
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: That are other countries, man, who have plenty of supplies.
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: How America don't, and America saying they short America, not short.
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: We are America. Man. Come on, let's stop this. We
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: are being led down a dog path by some bad
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: leadership here. Man. It's not fair what's happening to us.
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: And all of our leaders have to be held accountable
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: for this, all of them. And it don't just stop
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: with that president. If you agree with him, and you
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: a governor, you have to be held accountable. If you're
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: a mayor, you have to be held accountable. We got
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: to get out and vote man, because of you. You
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: don't put a stop to this foolishness right here that's
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: been going on for four years. It's something wrong with you.
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: Those are my clothing. Marks love to say. This is hey, y'all,
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: have a great day, and another day and another day.
