- 1:45Speaker 1: turn turn the water the water. Come come on your
- 1:59Speaker 1: back at it, h I sure will. Good morning everybody
- 2:05Speaker 1: you are listening to the voice, Come on dig me
- 2:07Speaker 1: nah one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Man,
- 2:13Speaker 1: oh man, oh man. You know what y'all? I mean, really,
- 2:17Speaker 1: the goodness of God is overwhelming if you think about it,
- 2:22Speaker 1: I mean really really think about it, even even when
- 2:26Speaker 1: your circumstance doesn't look so bright, even when you're going
- 2:31Speaker 1: through something that's causing you discomfort, pain, Even even in that,
- 2:40Speaker 1: God's goodness is actually overwhelming because don't forget why you're
- 2:46Speaker 1: going through this moment. This first of all, this too
- 2:51Speaker 1: shall pass. But also secondly, remember man, ain't everything else
- 2:56Speaker 1: that you've gone through that seems so insurmountable at the time,
- 3:01Speaker 1: didn't you get past that too? I mean, it's amazing
- 3:06Speaker 1: if you really think about it, If you really don't,
- 3:09Speaker 1: you don't get stuck on any one issue your whole life.
- 3:13Speaker 1: The only people that get stuck on an issue they
- 3:17Speaker 1: whole life is people who won't let it go. That's
- 3:21Speaker 1: really all it is. That are people who exist, and
- 3:25Speaker 1: you may be one of them. Oh please, No, I've
- 3:28Speaker 1: been guilty of it myself before. But I learned something
- 3:32Speaker 1: that are things in my past that I just would
- 3:35Speaker 1: not let go of. It was done, it was over with,
- 3:39Speaker 1: I was past it, but I I would not let
- 3:43Speaker 1: go of it. It was over. The dude that did
- 3:47Speaker 1: it to me didn't exist no more. The problem that
- 3:49Speaker 1: it created didn't exist no more. The only problem that
- 3:52Speaker 1: kept hanging on was I would not let it go.
- 3:58Speaker 1: And man, you can't go forward if you're gonna keep
- 4:02Speaker 1: looking in the past. It's an impossible thing. It's like
- 4:06Speaker 1: driving a car. If you keep looking only in the
- 4:11Speaker 1: rearview mirror while you're driving, you're going to crash pretty soon.
- 4:16Speaker 1: And a lot of people just keep crashing over and
- 4:19Speaker 1: over and over and over because you won't drive your car.
- 4:23Speaker 1: You keep looking in the rearview mirror at to pass.
- 4:27Speaker 1: Oh woe is me? Oh you know they did me
- 4:30Speaker 1: like that. You know, I ain't been the same since
- 4:33Speaker 1: he cheated on me. Oh man, ever since she stole
- 4:36Speaker 1: my money, I ain't been the same man. She played
- 4:39Speaker 1: me and ever since that out and treated women differently.
- 4:42Speaker 1: My father used to beat me. Okay, you know now, look,
- 4:46Speaker 1: you may have some deeper stuff going on, like you're
- 4:49Speaker 1: abused or molested as a child, But eventually, guess what,
- 4:53Speaker 1: do you understand that when you have relationship God, with God,
- 4:57Speaker 1: you can take that to him too and drop it
- 5:00Speaker 1: off and leave it there. Do you know that he
- 5:04Speaker 1: can fix and heal that. Maybe it's something serious like
- 5:08Speaker 1: that that you need fixing or healing from, a relationship
- 5:11Speaker 1: with God can fix and heal that. But man, come on, y'all,
- 5:18Speaker 1: whatever it is, and I'm not trying to downplay it
- 5:22Speaker 1: or make it act like it wasn't traumatic in your life,
- 5:24Speaker 1: because oh god, you don't want to you know, you
- 5:26Speaker 1: don't want nobody do that to you because you want
- 5:29Speaker 1: to be the you know, the post to child for misery.
- 5:32Speaker 1: So please don't let me take that from you. You know,
- 5:36Speaker 1: if that's your position, that's your that's your you know,
- 5:40Speaker 1: hall of Fame card, you hanging on too. I'm the
- 5:43Speaker 1: post to child for misery. Oh, no one is more
- 5:47Speaker 1: woe than me. Then please don't let Steve try to
- 5:50Speaker 1: take that from you. Go ahead and hang on to that.
- 5:53Speaker 1: But let me tell you something though. If that's what
- 5:56Speaker 1: you're gonna hang on to, that's what you're gonna always
- 5:58Speaker 1: be the poster child for mysery. At one point in time,
- 6:02Speaker 1: you're gonna have to get on the move past it.
- 6:04Speaker 1: And you can sometimes, Man, it's merely a simple thing
- 6:07Speaker 1: of taking it to God and leaving it there. You know,
- 6:10Speaker 1: some people don't have money for therapy. Some people don't
- 6:14Speaker 1: even know who to call for therapy. God is the
- 6:18Speaker 1: best psychologist in the world. He can fix it for you.
- 6:23Speaker 1: There is nothing too hard for God. You know when
- 6:26Speaker 1: something seems impossible, y'all, God does the impossible all the
- 6:31Speaker 1: time every day. You don't know how I know. I
- 6:35Speaker 1: just look at a couple of basic things. Do you
- 6:38Speaker 1: know that that sun comes up every day in the morning.
- 6:40Speaker 1: It comes up in the east and it sets in
- 6:42Speaker 1: the west. You can't do nothing about that. All you
- 6:46Speaker 1: can you can wish. Because you plant your flowers on
- 6:49Speaker 1: a certain side of your house. You can wish y'all
- 6:51Speaker 1: all you want. Then maybe one day he would bring
- 6:53Speaker 1: it up out the northwest, so those flowers would now,
- 6:57Speaker 1: now it's gonna come up out the east. It's gonna
- 6:59Speaker 1: come about you, and it's gonna set in the west.
- 7:03Speaker 1: And once the sun hits the horizon, when you look
- 7:06Speaker 1: in the water, like if you are out in la
- 7:09Speaker 1: and you see the sun going down. Once the sun,
- 7:11Speaker 1: once you can visually see the sun touching the horizon,
- 7:15Speaker 1: you have three minutes. You have exactly three minutes. You
- 7:19Speaker 1: can sit there with your watch. You can time you're
- 7:21Speaker 1: three minutes and it's gone. Three minutes, it's gone. It's man.
- 7:27Speaker 1: I read that somewhere and then I went and tried it.
- 7:30Speaker 1: It's gone every day if if it's clear enough, not cloudy,
- 7:35Speaker 1: once the sun touches the horizon on water, you got
- 7:38Speaker 1: three minutes. I don't care who you are. You can
- 7:42Speaker 1: want it to be different. That's what he does. When
- 7:44Speaker 1: the wind blows, you can't do nothing about it. He
- 7:49Speaker 1: can bring it from the northeast, he can bring it
- 7:51Speaker 1: from the west, he can bring it from the south.
- 7:52Speaker 1: He can bring it hard, he can bring it cool,
- 7:55Speaker 1: he can bring it hot. It's certain things that God,
- 7:58Speaker 1: God does the impossible all the time. You can't explain him.
- 8:03Speaker 1: You know how those stars sitting up there, How how
- 8:07Speaker 1: can you find these constellations? The Big Dipper, the little
- 8:09Speaker 1: dip of Ryan the Hunter. Oh, that's God, that's God.
- 8:12Speaker 1: Nothing you can do about it. You can't reach them stars,
- 8:15Speaker 1: you can't shoot at them, you can't move them out
- 8:17Speaker 1: the way, you know, or Ryan the Hunter's belt is
- 8:21Speaker 1: gonna beat them three stars out of angle. You can,
- 8:23Speaker 1: you can, You can call it what you want to call.
- 8:24Speaker 1: It's still that's what it is. See, He does the
- 8:27Speaker 1: impossible all the time. He created heaven and Earth. You're
- 8:32Speaker 1: saying that God can't get you through your pass Somebody
- 8:36Speaker 1: did just to me. It's the worst thing I had,
- 8:39Speaker 1: the worst childhood of anybody. God can't get you pass
- 8:42Speaker 1: at He can move Heaven mountains, Earth, he can form
- 8:48Speaker 1: the Grand Canyon. He can make the water come over
- 8:51Speaker 1: Niagara Falls twenty four seven. He can't fix your little
- 8:56Speaker 1: bit of past yos. You you significant being as we are.
- 9:03Speaker 1: It's amazing how people make their problems bigger than God.
- 9:06Speaker 1: Somebody told me one time, stop telling God how big
- 9:11Speaker 1: your problems are, and start telling your problems how big
- 9:16Speaker 1: God is, and go on with your life. Quit driving
- 9:21Speaker 1: your car looking in the rear view mirror. Ain't nothing
- 9:25Speaker 1: back there but your pass. And if it was hurtful
- 9:27Speaker 1: or painful, or something you just felt like you can't
- 9:31Speaker 1: get over, take your problems to God and leave them there.
- 9:34Speaker 1: You hear the old spiritual all you've heard it. Take
- 9:36Speaker 1: your problems to the Lord, Take your burdens to the Lord,
- 9:39Speaker 1: leave them yet all time. But you think that applies
- 9:44Speaker 1: to everyone. But you come on, man, and a lot
- 9:50Speaker 1: of people out there going through much worse than you
- 9:52Speaker 1: have and have overcome it all. Why won't you take
- 9:56Speaker 1: the step to overcome your pass so you can get
- 9:58Speaker 1: on with driving your car and see what God trying
- 10:01Speaker 1: to take you. But it's the trick of the enemy.
- 10:04Speaker 1: The enemy tricks you from seeing your future by having
- 10:07Speaker 1: you constantly looking in your pass. Man, it's a trick
- 10:11Speaker 1: of the devil if the man, If the devil just
- 10:14Speaker 1: lets you quit, if he would just let you get
- 10:17Speaker 1: to drive in your car and look out into your future,
- 10:19Speaker 1: your future shows hopefulness. You have hope when you see
- 10:24Speaker 1: the future. But he can keep you in misery if
- 10:27Speaker 1: he keep you looking at your miserable pass. He created you,
- 10:33Speaker 1: He got a plan for you. God looking for you. Man.
- 10:37Speaker 1: God would love to hear from you. Let's spend some
- 10:40Speaker 1: time talking to God today. Hey, God was having It's me.
- 10:44Speaker 1: I know I ain't talked to you in a while,
- 10:46Speaker 1: but feel bad about that. But I need you. He
- 10:50Speaker 1: know that. Everybody should say that prayer all the time.
- 10:53Speaker 1: It's cool. All right, well, all right, you're listening to
- 11:00Speaker 1: morning show. Ladies and gentlemen. May I have your attention please?

- 12:06Speaker 1: because you know, man, I you know I have to
- 12:08Speaker 1: for every show I do, I have to go to
- 12:09Speaker 1: an HR meeting. Yeah. Yeah, that's a good thing. No
- 12:16Speaker 1: it ain't. But I'm going. It's so hard. Well, how
- 12:26Speaker 1: you feel today? You know what, I'm pretty good today.
- 12:29Speaker 1: You don't got a lot of energy filling up? You
- 12:32Speaker 1: know what I'm saying? Bouncing good? You got it working
- 12:35Speaker 1: all right? Do it? Do it? You don't shake it,
- 12:37Speaker 1: shake it, bake it, bake it. You're feeling good? An ain't.
- 12:43Speaker 1: I've been niggering my whole life. I mean, not just
- 12:45Speaker 1: it's just you know, you ever think about changing? I
- 12:49Speaker 1: probably can't now. My mama asked me that when I
- 12:53Speaker 1: was ten, you ever think about getting yourself together? At ten?
- 12:58Speaker 1: That's my mom ten, it was it's it's heading in
- 13:00Speaker 1: the wrong direction. But your mom was able to see
- 13:05Speaker 1: you when you made it and got famous in everything.
- 13:08Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. They had all them jets. They
- 13:10Speaker 1: had Jet magazine, me and and we was on the
- 13:15Speaker 1: cover Jet. She didn't know how it made it until
- 13:16Speaker 1: I got on jet. That's when you death. Yeah, she
- 13:19Speaker 1: bought about fifty of them and had them fanned out
- 13:21Speaker 1: like a deck of card. But you couldn't touch them though. Yeah,
- 13:25Speaker 1: you have to invite people over so they can see.
- 13:28Speaker 1: People would touch your jet. Excuse me, that's my baby
- 13:32Speaker 1: to the jets. What did she say to you, though, Steve,
- 13:35Speaker 1: when you have made it? What does she say? She
- 13:37Speaker 1: sent my daddy out to La to see why I
- 13:39Speaker 1: was getting this money from. Sure, she thought I was
- 13:43Speaker 1: selling dope boy, no dog. My mother, she didn't know
- 13:50Speaker 1: what I was doing, but she did not see how
- 13:52Speaker 1: jokes could allow me to send them that much money
- 13:57Speaker 1: every week. So she said, get on the plane and
- 14:01Speaker 1: go out there and see what that boy into. Because
- 14:03Speaker 1: she knew my daddy could figure it out, because my
- 14:05Speaker 1: daddy was a hustle, So she sent him out here. Boy,
- 14:09Speaker 1: your mom would think, some where's you getting on his
- 14:11Speaker 1: money from? I had an apartment. He can't, well, how
- 14:14Speaker 1: big is the thing right here? Who stay here? I said,
- 14:17Speaker 1: just you and who You ain't got a roommates? You
- 14:21Speaker 1: paid it by yourself. They didn't get to see me
- 14:26Speaker 1: make it, though. They tried to be too short. All right,
- 14:33Speaker 1: we'll be back at thirty two after the hour. It
- 14:37Speaker 1: ain't that funny right after this, it's petty funny. You're listening,
- 14:48Speaker 1: all right, Steve. It is ash Wednesday, okay, the day
- 14:52Speaker 1: of course after a fat Tuesday and Monty Grand everything,
- 14:55Speaker 1: and you are you gotta do it? Yeah, you know,
- 14:58Speaker 1: this is tradition with this years my yearly as Winds story.
- 15:02Speaker 1: And for those I've never heard it before, we got
- 15:04Speaker 1: new Field. But this is like there was a night
- 15:06Speaker 1: before Crystal. You got that. Well, it was an ash
- 15:11Speaker 1: winsty I never had heard of it. Yeah, at first
- 15:14Speaker 1: we told you to put the H on ash. Yeah
- 15:19Speaker 1: he did did, Yeah, we had to do that. He said,
- 15:22Speaker 1: it took It's taken seven years. He got it. Now
- 15:26Speaker 1: y'all want the story or y'all want to correct pronunciation?
- 15:31Speaker 1: So it as Winds weird all. I was working at
- 15:36Speaker 1: Ford Motor Company and I was working in the all
- 15:40Speaker 1: pits and I shared this job with this white dude.
- 15:45Speaker 1: You're picking up all pumps and they had already been tested.
- 15:48Speaker 1: It was like one of the most un nobody wanted
- 15:52Speaker 1: to put on oil pumps, you know, because we're just
- 15:54Speaker 1: message message. You know, you could wear your street clothes
- 15:58Speaker 1: on the semi line. It worked back in the day
- 16:00Speaker 1: without getting messed up. But the oil pump you had
- 16:02Speaker 1: to wear cover ross, so I had to cover rolls
- 16:05Speaker 1: on it. Me and my dude that was switching off.
- 16:08Speaker 1: We would switch off like every half hour so we
- 16:11Speaker 1: could go to have little breaks instead of standing there
- 16:13Speaker 1: and doing each one of us doing them. Put the
- 16:16Speaker 1: pump on the other and put the two screws on.
- 16:18Speaker 1: We would stay gone for an hour. You put the
- 16:20Speaker 1: pump on and the screws on, that your other guy,
- 16:22Speaker 1: and we just wrote to a half hour on half
- 16:25Speaker 1: our own. So my dude said that he needed to
- 16:27Speaker 1: go somewhere for lunch, so could I do an hour?
- 16:31Speaker 1: So I said, yeah, man, but I'm gonna get the
- 16:33Speaker 1: hour when you come back. He said yeah. So he
- 16:36Speaker 1: goes and he comes back. I'm working. I'm putting the
- 16:40Speaker 1: oil pumps on. I turned around. Now he got this
- 16:45Speaker 1: cross on his forehead. Now I don't know it's a
- 16:49Speaker 1: cross because it's not clear that it's across. It just
- 16:54Speaker 1: looked like some soot was on his head. So we're
- 17:01Speaker 1: talking and I'm trying to play it off, but I
- 17:03Speaker 1: just couldn't take it no more. So I took that
- 17:05Speaker 1: old rag out of my back pocket. Damned it on
- 17:09Speaker 1: my tongue like your mama used to do, yea and white.
- 17:13Speaker 1: That shot off his forehead. He said, oh my god,
- 17:23Speaker 1: what you do? What have you done? Now? I'm sitting
- 17:30Speaker 1: here going damn man, relaxed. Yeah, I'm your boy. I'm
- 17:34Speaker 1: looking out for you. I just get that you had
- 17:38Speaker 1: some sick in the middle of your forehead on the
- 17:41Speaker 1: girls standing around him. I took it off. So are
- 17:45Speaker 1: you kidding me? Are you kidding me? And this dude
- 17:49Speaker 1: is holing it white? Dude? Man, slow down? We cool,
- 17:53Speaker 1: but we ain't really there yet. We're just co workers.
- 17:56Speaker 1: I don't really you know, we're just holing a me.
- 17:58Speaker 1: We put an all puff together. Yeah, that's all we do.
- 18:00Speaker 1: We're on socialized So hey, man, you just slow it up.
- 18:03Speaker 1: You got me kidding me? This is carmel. Do you
- 18:06Speaker 1: know what you've done? I said no. He said, it's
- 18:10Speaker 1: ash wednsteak. I said, that's cool, man, but you had
- 18:14Speaker 1: to sit on your fore hidden, so it wasn't suck.
- 18:18Speaker 1: It was ash ash so fire wood what you wanna
- 18:25Speaker 1: call it? Oh, I'm just wiping it off. He was
- 18:33Speaker 1: teariot kidding me. I felt he was ungrateful. You're ungrateful.
- 18:39Speaker 1: I am looking out for you how to smull this
- 18:42Speaker 1: thing off your head? You're white? It showing up really
- 18:48Speaker 1: ain't like it was on my boy. Hat over that hat.
- 18:50Speaker 1: Dog looked like he could have had ash on when
- 18:54Speaker 1: nobody knew it but you and I just felt he
- 18:58Speaker 1: was ungrateful. He said, you don't get it, do you?
- 19:01Speaker 1: I say, man, get what who you holding that? I'm Catholic? No,
- 19:07Speaker 1: I'm Pentecostal. Well where we act? With the hell you
- 19:14Speaker 1: got to do? He said, it's ash Winston. I asked
- 19:19Speaker 1: you for an hour. You gave me the hour. I
- 19:23Speaker 1: went down, I took, I twent down to the cathedral
- 19:27Speaker 1: and a priest put this on me. I said, put
- 19:30Speaker 1: one on you dog, the ash. You're so stupid because
- 19:37Speaker 1: Ash Winsor I got all that. Man, why as you
- 19:40Speaker 1: still hoting me? You took that was it was the
- 19:46Speaker 1: shape of a cross. Lord Steve, what was a cross?
- 19:51Speaker 1: Dog finally got me to understand religious silk that the
- 20:00Speaker 1: ash was put on as a cross. I've never unknown why,
- 20:06Speaker 1: but he was so hurt. Well, yeah, that's just reviodion,
- 20:11Speaker 1: you think. So then what happened after that? So I
- 20:14Speaker 1: tried to step my fingers on oil and put it
- 20:16Speaker 1: back right there the same thing. Worse, that's not the
- 20:25Speaker 1: same thing. It's black, is all. You can get it
- 20:28Speaker 1: right back on. Tell me what the pre said when
- 20:32Speaker 1: he did that? I repeat, man, Man, So after that,
- 20:37Speaker 1: were you guys like no longer friends anymore? Really? Yeah? Yeah?
- 20:42Speaker 1: You never really got over that. Yeah, yeah, that's different.
- 20:46Speaker 1: I didn't understand that, man, damn. Yeah, well, thank you

- 28:20Speaker 1: hold on, man, oh oh man, let me stop for
- 28:22Speaker 1: a minute. Man, Oh my goodness, well you lost your
- 28:27Speaker 1: damn hold on. You don't do he don't do like that?
- 28:33Speaker 1: Man got my wife, y'all? What's my brother? I would

- 29:19Speaker 1: don't say I love you, I love you. I'm scared
- 29:23Speaker 1: to say something. I will be there Friday March fifteen.

- 29:29Speaker 1: But there's the Blues and Jazz Supper Club. I'm not through,
- 29:34Speaker 1: but there's the Blues and Jazz supper Club. What was it,
- 29:39Speaker 1: Shirley Jazz eating supper Blue? Do make me for my monocrap?
- 29:55Speaker 1: What you're doing there? All right? Listen, we love you
- 29:59Speaker 1: to thank you. Coming up next at the top of
- 30:01Speaker 1: the hour, entertainment news. We'll talk about R Kelly right
- 30:04Speaker 1: after this you're listening to show. Coming up in twenty
- 30:12Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, guys, R Kelly's first interview with
- 30:15Speaker 1: Gail King. We'll talk about that because R Kelly says
- 30:20Speaker 1: he is fighting for his effing life. All right, but yeah,
- 30:25Speaker 1: But first in entertainment news, Kylie Jenner. Congratulations to her.
- 30:30Speaker 1: You know her as a reality star in the Dashians,
- 30:32Speaker 1: keeping Up with the Kardashians, But she's also an entrepreneur
- 30:36Speaker 1: and in her own right and now the world's youngest
- 30:39Speaker 1: self made billionaire with a B billionaire. This is according
- 30:43Speaker 1: to Forbes magazine. Forbes reported on Tuesday that Kylie has
- 30:48Speaker 1: reached the one billion dollars in net worth and at
- 30:52Speaker 1: only twenty one years old, She's reached that mark faster
- 30:56Speaker 1: than Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, who was twenty three when
- 31:00Speaker 1: he did it. Kylie Cosmetics was created back in twenty fifteen,
- 31:06Speaker 1: and it was an instant success, netting three oh seven,
- 31:11Speaker 1: three hundred and seven million dollars in its very first year. Okay,
- 31:16Speaker 1: uh yeah, Kylie's man, Travis Scott deactivated his Instagram account
- 31:21Speaker 1: because he wanted to prove his loyalty to Kylie. But
- 31:24Speaker 1: now his account is back on because you know, she
- 31:26Speaker 1: had accused him of cheating and everything with some Instagram
- 31:29Speaker 1: girls or something, so he deleted it, but now it's back.
- 31:32Speaker 1: Travis was in the doghouse, I guess you can say
- 31:35Speaker 1: on the Gram there were some overly friendly messages. That's
- 31:38Speaker 1: how we'll put it. In his DM. They had slid
- 31:41Speaker 1: into his DM, you know, uh, they slid in there. Uh.
- 31:46Speaker 1: Travis canceled a concert last minute to get some quality
- 31:49Speaker 1: time with Kylie and things seem to be all good now.
- 31:52Speaker 1: So that's good. That's good news. Yeah. Yeah, because when
- 31:55Speaker 1: y'all baby mama is a billionnaire, n even me. Yeah,
- 32:01Speaker 1: make it right her a little stormy uh. Okay, now
- 32:08Speaker 1: you get down there and a cell phone tower. I'm
- 32:14Speaker 1: not Tristan. I'm not to do this and they have
- 32:21Speaker 1: a baby together, Yeah, a little stormy. Yeah, she's she's
- 32:25Speaker 1: a dorps dorps. Yeah. So anyway, so that's what's going
- 32:30Speaker 1: on with them. They're back together now, back together again.
- 32:33Speaker 1: You know, hopefully all that drama that was with the U,
- 32:37Speaker 1: the Kardashians and the Genners, it has died down. You know.
- 32:41Speaker 1: Jordan Woods went on Red Table Talk with Jada Pinkett
- 32:44Speaker 1: Smith and Will came on to offer offer her some
- 32:48Speaker 1: encouraging words, and uh, I thought that was pretty cool,
- 32:51Speaker 1: you know, Will, because they've known Jordan for so long.
- 32:53Speaker 1: And speaking of Will Smith, um, he's going to play
- 32:57Speaker 1: Richard Williams. Now, you guys know who that is. He
- 33:00Speaker 1: He is the father of Venus and Serena Williams. Well
- 33:03Speaker 1: oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah. So Will is set
- 33:07Speaker 1: to start as a Venus and Serena's dad. This is
- 33:11Speaker 1: according to Deadline magazine. Uh, He's poised to play Richard Williams.
- 33:15Speaker 1: It's a new movie that's going to chronicle the life
- 33:18Speaker 1: of his life. Okay, because he was so controversial, you know,
- 33:22Speaker 1: they they they maligned him, they talked about him, how
- 33:25Speaker 1: mean he was probable passed probable, all of that but
- 33:29Speaker 1: he led those girls to superstardom in the tennis field.
- 33:34Speaker 1: I mean, they're they're the best in the world. So
- 33:36Speaker 1: you know, I would love to hear King Richards. Yeah,
- 33:39Speaker 1: King Richard, that is a movie. It's going to center
- 33:42Speaker 1: on him. He's seventy seven years old. Now how he
- 33:44Speaker 1: overcame tremendous hardship. Now Will gotta walk around with a
- 33:47Speaker 1: camera lot, he got to use a camera, right, Yeah,
- 33:52Speaker 1: that girl. But I'm glad. I look, that's a movie
- 33:56Speaker 1: I would watch definitely, not only because of of Will Smith,
- 33:59Speaker 1: but because I'm interested in their dad's life, because he's
- 34:03Speaker 1: a person I respect. All Right, And finally, I wanted
- 34:07Speaker 1: to get to this, guys, we gotta say congratulations to
- 34:10Speaker 1: our girl, Tamaron Hall. Remember Tamaron she's a former Today
- 34:13Speaker 1: Show host. Yeah, anyway, she's forty eight years old and
- 34:17Speaker 1: gets this. She is expecting her first child, her first
- 34:21Speaker 1: child with husband Stephen. Congratulations. What did you say? I
- 34:27Speaker 1: said she's expecting her first child with her husband, Stephen?
- 34:30Speaker 1: Not you? How I don't I knew. I ain't made
- 34:38Speaker 1: no basement, and me and Taman don't even talk to
- 34:43Speaker 1: who name you scared? It is the only stay in
- 34:46Speaker 1: the world. The only one on this show. Baby, this
- 34:50Speaker 1: has been on CNN. Okay, you'd have been oh god,
- 34:56Speaker 1: but she she said she's been using other things like
- 35:01Speaker 1: a talk show and things like that, and and she
- 35:04Speaker 1: said that she had to wait to get clearance from
- 35:06Speaker 1: her doctor to make sure it was okay to make
- 35:08Speaker 1: the announcement that she was pregnant. You know, now she's
- 35:12Speaker 1: out of the danger zone. So congratulations, Very happy for regret. Yeah, yes,
- 35:17Speaker 1: very happy for Cameron. Not your baby. I'll get tight
- 35:22Speaker 1: but quick though, who you're saying, I need to mention
- 35:27Speaker 1: baby step I got to get myself this right now.
- 35:34Speaker 1: You need take that baby. You got a man in camp.
- 35:42Speaker 1: We won't take his own. He got a new baby. Wow,
- 35:50Speaker 1: that is crazy. Yeah, but yeah, she looked beautiful. She
- 35:56Speaker 1: made her announcement on social media and yeah, just look beautiful, glowing, right,
- 36:03Speaker 1: very glowing and just happy. She just looked happy and
- 36:06Speaker 1: forty eight. I mean that could be inteed, you are
- 36:09Speaker 1: not the father. But you know something, man, You know
- 36:12Speaker 1: a couple of years ago when she had that thing
- 36:15Speaker 1: where she was taken off of the Jday Show for Megan,
- 36:19Speaker 1: you know what, man, see you never know what The
- 36:22Speaker 1: plan is God just made a way for her to
- 36:26Speaker 1: be free and clear because He was fitting to give
- 36:27Speaker 1: her a bigger blessing than a TV show. Absolutely, see
- 36:30Speaker 1: how that works, man. So when the NBC thought they
- 36:34Speaker 1: was doing her doggish, which they would that, they have
- 36:38Speaker 1: no idea what God was really doing, y'all think y'all
- 36:41Speaker 1: stopping something. I'm fit to make a way for her
- 36:44Speaker 1: that she didn't think it was possible. That's all that is, man.
- 36:47Speaker 1: It's always some good behind it. Congratulations, Tarry. Absolutely, all right,
- 36:51Speaker 1: we'll be back right after this. You're listening. R Kelly
- 36:58Speaker 1: has been charged with ten counts of act revated sexual abuse,
- 37:01Speaker 1: and the Angrily Angrily Yeah denied the accusations. In his
- 37:06Speaker 1: brand new interview with Gail King from CBS this morning,
- 37:09Speaker 1: r Kelly insisted the rumors are not true. Take a
- 37:12Speaker 1: listen to this. Do you still sit here and say
- 37:15Speaker 1: you have never been with underage girls? Can you really
- 37:18Speaker 1: say that I sit here and say this. I had
- 37:21Speaker 1: two cases back then that I said in the beginning
- 37:26Speaker 1: of the interview that I would not talk about because
- 37:29Speaker 1: of my own going case. Now, okay, okay, fair enough,
- 37:32Speaker 1: but I will tell you this. People are going back
- 37:36Speaker 1: to my pass. Okay, that's exactly what they're doing there,
- 37:39Speaker 1: going back to the pass, and they're trying to add
- 37:42Speaker 1: all of this stuff now to that to make all
- 37:46Speaker 1: of the stuff that's going on now feels real to people.
- 37:50Speaker 1: But the past is relevant with you with underage girl.
- 37:53Speaker 1: Absolutely no, it's not why because, for one, I beat
- 37:56Speaker 1: my case. When you beat something you created quick, you
- 38:00Speaker 1: can't double jevity me like that. You can't. It's not fair.
- 38:03Speaker 1: It's not fair to nobody. When you beat your case,
- 38:05Speaker 1: you beat your case. But I'm not talking about the
- 38:07Speaker 1: one case in which you were quitted. I'm talking about
- 38:09Speaker 1: the other cases where women have come forward and said R.
- 38:13Speaker 1: Kelly had sex with me when I was under the
- 38:16Speaker 1: age of eighteen. R Kelly was abusive to me emotionally
- 38:20Speaker 1: and physically and verbally. Okay, R Kelly took me in
- 38:23Speaker 1: a black room where unspeakable things happen. This is what
- 38:27Speaker 1: they're saying about you. These are these aren't old rumors
- 38:30Speaker 1: or not true. Whether they're old rumors us, why would
- 38:33Speaker 1: they say about you not true? Say beat yeah, yeah,
- 38:42Speaker 1: that's come on, that's a tough one, man, that's a
- 38:47Speaker 1: tough one. Man, that wasn't there. I've I've made the
- 38:50Speaker 1: wrong choice of words. I know how you can do it.
- 38:53Speaker 1: But what he that that right there absolutely ain't not true. Yeah,
- 39:00Speaker 1: you know I beat the case. Yeah, you know, beat
- 39:03Speaker 1: the case sounds a lot different from I was innocent.
- 39:11Speaker 1: I was innocent of the charges. Now I beat the case,
- 39:14Speaker 1: ain't yeh. You know, it just don't sound right. Well,
- 39:18Speaker 1: I can understand under the heat, you can you can misspeak,
- 39:21Speaker 1: you can say something out of turn. I'm surprised, I
- 39:25Speaker 1: really yeah, but you know, uh what, But she had
- 39:31Speaker 1: a valid point though, Like he said, you're taking all
- 39:34Speaker 1: that stuff in my past. That's exactly what this is.
- 39:37Speaker 1: These are women from the past who they are claiming
- 39:42Speaker 1: was underage at the time. Right. That's that's what you pay.
- 39:46Speaker 1: You pay for pass transgressions all the time. That's the
- 39:50Speaker 1: same thing causby cause me got pass transgression. That that's
- 39:56Speaker 1: what they do. Man, unless there's some type of statute
- 39:59Speaker 1: of limitation that I don't know nothing about. Well, when
- 40:02Speaker 1: you in anytime you're talking about kids, man, you start
- 40:05Speaker 1: striking a chord with people. Yeah, well, Steve coming up
- 40:09Speaker 1: at thirty four after the hour, we're gonna have more
- 40:11Speaker 1: on this Gail King interview with R Kelly right after this.
- 40:16Speaker 1: You're listening. So R Kelly did an interview with Gail
- 40:22Speaker 1: King from CBS this morning. During the interview, R Kelly
- 40:26Speaker 1: denied the allegations against him. He became very emotional while
- 40:30Speaker 1: defending himself. He broke down in tears. Take a listen
- 40:34Speaker 1: and correct me. If I'm wrong that you have never
- 40:36Speaker 1: held anybody against their will? I don't need to. Why
- 40:40Speaker 1: would I? Well, I'm how stupid? Would never help any
- 40:43Speaker 1: Mark Kelly, with all I've been through in my way
- 40:46Speaker 1: way pass to hold somebody, let alone four or five
- 40:51Speaker 1: six fifth? You say it? Why? How stupid would I
- 40:55Speaker 1: be to do that? I didn't say that? Stupid Guys,
- 40:59Speaker 1: is this camera on me? Yes, that's stupid. Use your
- 41:03Speaker 1: common sense. Don't forget the blots, but get how you
- 41:07Speaker 1: feel about me. Hate me if you want to love
- 41:09Speaker 1: me if you want, but just use your common sense.
- 41:11Speaker 1: How stupid would it be for me to with my
- 41:16Speaker 1: crazy passing what I've been through? Oh right now, I
- 41:19Speaker 1: just think I need to be a monster and whole
- 41:22Speaker 1: girls against the wheel, chain them up in my basement
- 41:25Speaker 1: and and don't let them eat, and don't let them
- 41:27Speaker 1: out unless they need some shoes down the street from
- 41:30Speaker 1: the uncle ro y'all, quit plan, Quit plan. I didn't
- 41:36Speaker 1: do this stuff. This is not me, y'all fighting for
- 41:39Speaker 1: my life? WHOA? Okay, call it. I'm not whoa? What's
- 41:45Speaker 1: the shoes down the street story? I don't know that part.
- 41:49Speaker 1: I don't. I don't know. I didn't. I don't know
- 41:51Speaker 1: what this is. Yeah, this is tragic, man, for everyone concerned,
- 41:58Speaker 1: and mostly the victims. This is a huge tragedy for everybody,
- 42:06Speaker 1: especially the victim. You know, I don't like to see
- 42:13Speaker 1: somebody fall. I get no enjoyment from it. I just
- 42:19Speaker 1: I've never been that person. I just hate to see
- 42:23Speaker 1: people fall. And hear me clearly, I hate to see
- 42:26Speaker 1: people fall because I wish they had made other decisions
- 42:31Speaker 1: that would have prevented this in their life, because now
- 42:34Speaker 1: what they got to suffer through is because of a
- 42:37Speaker 1: decision they made. And then if you leave victims along
- 42:40Speaker 1: the wayside, oh my god, man, the scar tissue that
- 42:46Speaker 1: could be on these young people. But you know, I'm
- 42:51Speaker 1: fighting for my life. I understand. I understand that statement,
- 42:55Speaker 1: you know I do, And I hate that some decisions
- 42:59Speaker 1: got made and some accusations got made and some deeds
- 43:03Speaker 1: got done. But now, man, see when this thing go
- 43:07Speaker 1: to court. See, we're talking about evidence now and it's
- 43:11Speaker 1: going to court Steve on March twenty second, and we
- 43:13Speaker 1: talking evidence, yes, and we can, we can. We can
- 43:19Speaker 1: take whatever plea we want if they come in there.
- 43:22Speaker 1: Whateverdence man, we got a whole other monster. We got
- 43:25Speaker 1: to deal with it, right. Yeah, he's been accused of
- 43:28Speaker 1: sexually abusing four victims. Three of them were underage girls.
- 43:32Speaker 1: The abuse goes back twenty years, from nineteen ninety eight
- 43:35Speaker 1: to twenty ten. Our Kelly right now is out unbond.
- 43:38Speaker 1: That's how he's able to do the interview with Gail King.
- 43:41Speaker 1: And again he's due back in court on March twenty second. Oh,
- 43:46Speaker 1: this is just I mean, there are no winners in
- 43:50Speaker 1: this situation. They're just this is horrible. This is just
- 43:55Speaker 1: it's hard, it's unspeakable. Yeah, you know what he allegedly did,
- 43:59Speaker 1: and we've been hearing about this for a very long time,
- 44:03Speaker 1: and you know he has to go to court now.
- 44:06Speaker 1: But you know he said in the interview, he said,
- 44:08Speaker 1: it's so stupid. Why would I I mean, you know,
- 44:14Speaker 1: I'm all Kelly, and why would I? And then what
- 44:18Speaker 1: you can't have is no evidence that shows that, because
- 44:23Speaker 1: then the why would I becomes You're gonna have to
- 44:26Speaker 1: hear it again, well why would you? And you know,
- 44:29Speaker 1: I wonder why he did this interview because blinking life, Well, well,
- 44:37Speaker 1: now listen to me, Shirley. He's you know, he did
- 44:40Speaker 1: the interview because public public opinion is already yeah, and
- 44:47Speaker 1: it's it's doing a number on his family damage control.
- 44:50Speaker 1: And you know he's trying. He got he got to
- 44:52Speaker 1: get some side of it out instead of sitting there
- 44:54Speaker 1: and letting him just say they side. But man, all right, wow, okay, yeah, yeah,
- 45:02Speaker 1: I didn't look good, not at all. Not. This is awful,
- 45:05Speaker 1: all right. Up next it is the nephew We're gonna
- 45:08Speaker 1: switch gears here. Get to the prank phone call. Right
- 45:10Speaker 1: after this you're listening to show coming up at the
- 45:17Speaker 1: top of the hour, right about four minutes after, it's
- 45:19Speaker 1: my Strawberry letter for today. Let me tell you something.
- 45:21Speaker 1: You don't want to miss this letter. Okay, this is
- 45:24Speaker 1: one of my favorite letter. This you do not want

- 46:14Speaker 1: I work at the job with Veronica. Everything is everything
- 46:17Speaker 1: on right there? Or what's going on? No? No, no,

- 46:33Speaker 1: I just wanted to talk to you, Like I say, Um,
- 46:35Speaker 1: you know, I got some things on it that's been
- 46:37Speaker 1: bothered me for a minute, and I you know, I

- 46:42Speaker 1: and you know just kind of have like a little
- 46:44Speaker 1: a little hard to hard talk with you. Man, so
- 46:46Speaker 1: maybe you know, uh, you know, we can get things

- 46:50Speaker 1: I just wanted me and you to have a conversation. Wait, man,
- 46:55Speaker 1: how did you get my Veronica? Give you my number?
- 46:57Speaker 1: Or how did you get my number? That's what I'm
- 46:58Speaker 1: trying to like, what's going on? I mean, I had
- 47:01Speaker 1: I had, I've had your number. I just I just
- 47:04Speaker 1: I just had never reached out to you before. But
- 47:06Speaker 1: like I say, though, man, this this, this has been
- 47:08Speaker 1: bothering me for a minute and I wanted to get
- 47:10Speaker 1: it off my chest so you and I can try to,
- 47:12Speaker 1: I guess, fix this whole issue. But I just want
- 47:15Speaker 1: us to see if we can fix it, you know,

- 48:59Speaker 1: we've been you know, pretty tight here at the job.
- 49:01Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. So listen what you mean

- 49:07Speaker 1: do you mean y'all being cool? Because that's my wife.
- 49:09Speaker 1: Tell me what you're talking about. Okay. All I'm saying
- 49:12Speaker 1: is me and me and me and her been real cool.
- 49:14Speaker 1: We've been real tight. You know. Sometimes we take lunch
- 49:17Speaker 1: and then you know, don't come back. That's our thing though.
- 49:20Speaker 1: But you know now, you know, I'm noticing. You know,
- 49:23Speaker 1: she she didn't want out, you know, she didn't want
- 49:24Speaker 1: to lunch a couple of time with his brother named Alan,
- 49:26Speaker 1: And I'm like, okay, no, no, it ain't gonna go

- 49:51Speaker 1: you're telling me that you're with my wife too, that
- 49:54Speaker 1: you've been messing around with my wife. That's not That's
- 49:58Speaker 1: not the part I'm trying to tell about. I'm trying
- 50:00Speaker 1: to talk about this dude named Alan. Man, That's what
- 50:02Speaker 1: I'm trying to get out. I'm gone to Alan. We're

- 54:49Speaker 1: It is the Strawberry Letter. Subject Thundercat is on the prowl.
- 54:56Speaker 1: That is the Subderundercat. Thundercat is on the prowl. My
- 55:00Speaker 1: car too. Dear Stephen Shirley. I am a divorced, forty
- 55:04Speaker 1: four year old single mom as an attractive, curvy and
- 55:09Speaker 1: educated woman. I have no problems meeting men. It's keeping
- 55:14Speaker 1: them that's the issue. The last man that I dated,
- 55:17Speaker 1: we were together for almost three months before we had sex.
- 55:21Speaker 1: I made him wait for a reason, and here's why.
- 55:25Speaker 1: When we had sex for the first time, he passed
- 55:28Speaker 1: out afterwards. He was only out for it. Fell off
- 55:35Speaker 1: the aged bust my head on nice name. All right, Well,
- 55:39Speaker 1: this may be you, this may be for you about him.
- 55:44Speaker 1: I know I'm very relatable. I've had Maybe it's not
- 55:50Speaker 1: as this letter's not as crazy as I thought. It's crazy,
- 55:56Speaker 1: all right, So I'm gonna read that line again. She
- 55:58Speaker 1: she the first. The last mandated. They were together for
- 56:02Speaker 1: three months, almost three months before they had sex. She
- 56:04Speaker 1: made him wait for a reason, and here's why. When
- 56:07Speaker 1: they had sex for the first time, he passed out afterwards.
- 56:10Speaker 1: He was only out for a short time, and when
- 56:13Speaker 1: he came to, he said his blood sugar was low.
- 56:18Speaker 1: But I think he was lying because this has happened
- 56:21Speaker 1: to me before with another man. The next time we
- 56:25Speaker 1: made love, I toned down the intensity and I cut
- 56:28Speaker 1: out the extra stuff that I normally do. He told
- 56:32Speaker 1: me it was too much for him, and he ended
- 56:34Speaker 1: up breaking up with me. My crazy ex husband was
- 56:38Speaker 1: the same way. Whenever I would try to do something
- 56:41Speaker 1: new with him, he got mad and accused me of
- 56:44Speaker 1: cheating on him, which was one of the reasons we
- 56:46Speaker 1: got divorced. So lately, I had been dating a nice
- 56:51Speaker 1: Southern gentleman, and two nights ago we had sex for
- 56:54Speaker 1: the first time. I warned him that I was about
- 56:57Speaker 1: to put it on him, but he must have thought
- 57:00Speaker 1: I was just playing well Shirley during the act, see
- 57:05Speaker 1: right there, well Shirley during the act, he started screaming
- 57:09Speaker 1: like a little girl, and he was begging me to stop,
- 57:13Speaker 1: so I did. He just he just stared at me
- 57:18Speaker 1: for a while. He just stared at me for a while,
- 57:21Speaker 1: and then he told me that I was way too
- 57:23Speaker 1: much for him. He accused me of being some kind
- 57:27Speaker 1: of loose woman because of my skill set. I was
- 57:30Speaker 1: so offended that I left his house and we have
- 57:33Speaker 1: not communicated since Saturday. I can't help but think there's
- 57:37Speaker 1: a man out there that can handle me, that can
- 57:40Speaker 1: handle me. My friend's nicknamed me Thundercat, and they told me,
- 57:44Speaker 1: I should teach a sex class for women. I like
- 57:47Speaker 1: to keep it tight and right, and I really do
- 57:49Speaker 1: enjoy sex. So what should I do? Tommy? You hush?
- 57:54Speaker 1: I want to hear from Stephen Shirley. Please advise, Okay,
- 57:59Speaker 1: I first let me know. I will see I will
- 58:04Speaker 1: because I know you think this letter is about you, right, No,
- 58:06Speaker 1: but I just gotta ask you. I mean, what are
- 58:12Speaker 1: you doing? Really? Not not what are you doing to
- 58:15Speaker 1: the guys? Just what are you doing? From from a
- 58:19Speaker 1: thinking position? Okay, you cannot put all this stuff that
- 58:23Speaker 1: you're doing on someone that you're having sex with for
- 58:27Speaker 1: the first time, especially a man. You can't do this.
- 58:31Speaker 1: You can't pull all the tricks out of your bag
- 58:34Speaker 1: on the first you can't. All right, you gotta slowly
- 58:37Speaker 1: roll the stuff out, if you know, so they can
- 58:39Speaker 1: get used to it. You gotta spoon feed them, so
- 58:42Speaker 1: to speak, because I mean you, I mean, and look
- 58:46Speaker 1: at your track records. You got a man who passed out,
- 58:50Speaker 1: a man who is screaming like a girl, a man
- 58:52Speaker 1: who broke up with you, your husband accused you of cheating.
- 58:56Speaker 1: I mean, you gotta look at what's going on here
- 58:59Speaker 1: and realise that maybe just maybe you know, slow it
- 59:04Speaker 1: down a little bit. Uh, come on, you you just
- 59:07Speaker 1: you're forty four years old. You you enjoy sex, you
- 59:10Speaker 1: like it. Perhaps you should teach a class. But listen,
- 59:15Speaker 1: you gotta take it easy. You know, you tell somebody
- 59:17Speaker 1: I'm gonna put it on you. I mean, come on,
- 59:21Speaker 1: just relax, okay, relax a little bit, and and and
- 59:26Speaker 1: ease into these I mean, have you lost your entire mind? Yeah,
- 59:40Speaker 1: I'm just trying to help. Yeah, we're gonna take that out.
- 59:45Speaker 1: Don't even worry. Yeah. But when I first read the letter,
- 59:52Speaker 1: I thought you were saying you you were you waited
- 59:55Speaker 1: for three months to have sex because you know, like
- 59:57Speaker 1: in Steve's book, act like a lady, think like a man.
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: He's telling you, you know, to wait for ninety days.
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: So you but that's to get to know the person
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: and all of that. You know, you waited because what
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: you didn't want to kill the man on the first time.
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: But I just say, you need to take your time,
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: ease into this stuff. Lighting up a little bit. I mean,
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: you know, I get you. You like it in your
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: serious This other man his blood sugar was love. You're
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: gonna kill somebody, Relax, Steve it's your turn about it.
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: I am there's a lot of key stuff in here.
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: I'm gonna point it out to you all through the
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: damn letter opening line. I am a divorce. This means this,
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: this's been over with. Somebody said enough, forty four year
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: old single woman, good and grown. I am an attractive
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: that's what she's said. Curvy, Yeah, that could be anything,
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: you know. That's what they call him of other words
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: for heaven. So you could be curvy and educated. I
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: have no problems meeting me in it's keeping them that's
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: an issue. Last man I dated, we asked. We was
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: together for three months before we had sex. I made
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: him wait for a reason. Here why When we had
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: sex for the first time, he passed out. He was
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: only out for a short time, and when he came to,
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: he said he had his blood sugar was low. He
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: know what the hell happened? And you Yeah, but he
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: when he woke up, he woke up as a diabetic.
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: She gave him diabeting. He didn't know what was wrong,
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: so he invented a disease. Ye. She told his ass up. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: we come back. You're gonna want to hear this. Hang on,
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: we'll have part two of Steve's response coming up the letter,
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: though the subject Thundercat is on the prow right after
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: this at twenty three after We'll be back. You're listening,
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: all right, Steve. Let's go. Let's recap today's Strawberry letters.
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: There's a woman that's been sleeping with men and can't
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: keep them, and it's all because of her sexual acts.
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: First man she told us about. They had been waiting
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: three months. When she finally gave him something. He passed out,
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: and when he came to, he said his blood sugar
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: was low. He had never said that before ever in
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: his life, but she gave him diabetes. He woke up
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: with diabetes. He didn't have it for that. It just
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: something happened to him and he didn't know what it was.
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: But I think he was lying because that happened to
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: me before with another man. Because next time we made love,
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: I toned down the intensity and cut out the extra
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: stuff I normally do. What the hell is you in
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: here doing? You toned? When a woman tells you I
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: toned down the intensity and cut out some of the
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: normal stuff I do. Do you know what the hell
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: happened in here? What's going on? This happened to the
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: intensity is the pherocity, the pherocity. She in here this
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: hell for too much for any damn body. Let me
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: tell you what's going on. Let me read a little
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: bit more left and she cut out the extra stuff
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: she normally do. Okay, let me tell some if you
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: cut out the extra stuff that you normally I'm told
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: down the intensity and he still fell out the hell
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: is you do stuff regular? I'm gonna tell you what
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: she's doing in a minute, though. He told me it
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: was too much for him, and he ended up breaking
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: up with me. Then my crazy ex husband now seeing
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: now people crazy now naw now to men crazy with
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: her crazy that he was the same way. Whenever I
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: would try to do something new with him, he got mad,
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: accused me of cheating, which one of the reasons we
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: got divorced. So layl, I've been dating the nice Southern gentleman.
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: Two nights ago we had sex. He had a lot
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: of sex. How many men were already over the three limit?
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: He told y'all to talk about it. We way over
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: the three limit. I told y'all your max number three?
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: She way out to three bars. She just had sex
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: for the first time another night a southern gentleman. I
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: warned him, told him before we went in, I'm about
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: to put it on you see you in here? You
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: you your cage match. You're in that mmmit mixed, marshal,
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: You must say. He must have thought I was playing
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: with Sirley doing the app He started screaming. You took
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: a grown ass man, got him screaming like a white girl.
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: He was begging me to stop. I was too much
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: for him. He accused me of being some kind of
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: a loose woman because of my skills set. I was
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: so fit that I left his house and wind communicate.
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: He glanced you left, and you reason you ain't called
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: communicating society because he ain't calling your ass. He don't
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: wan't no more what you got. It's too damn much.
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: Let me tell you. First of all, she's doing it
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: way too hot, and she making no voices, and and
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: she's slamming into men, she climbing on me back, she
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: making her voice change. Yeah, sound like a man. Huh ma,
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: ch you hitting I'm talking about man. It ain't even
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: supposed to be doing this right here. It's getting slung
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: around neck. Damn. But huh, choke your shut them. Take this,
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: take it. Take can't talking the whole time, voice changing.
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: She come up and here, I told you what happened.
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: You thought I was playing, But I'm the prisoners up
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: in here in the park. You bring up paras. These
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: men is in here going scared? What the hell have
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: I got myself into? I'm gonna tell you something else too.
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: She she don't even do normal stuff. She do it.
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: It's some apparatuss. Okay, that's it's a swaying. She just swaying,
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: crossed the bed. Listen to me. She using her teeth.
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: It's some teeth involved here, Okay, he said, he begged
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: me to stop. It's some teeth. Yeah, yeah, it's what
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: I do. This do what I do because of her
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: skill set. Yeah, but her skill set is painful. Yeah
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: her skin. Yeah, she turned me. Yeah, it's to me
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: and walking out there need medical attention. What happened to
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: that point where she spent this one dude his punk
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: as passed. He said he had died beat But Steve,
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: is it like she's threatening them because she said I
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: warned him that I was about to put it on.
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: I'm fitting to do something to you. You ain't ever
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: had dumb before. Yeah, and in the middle of all
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: of it, I'm gonna sucker punch your pocket. She hit.
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: It's a riffing, moved like she on top of a
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: man and she putting. She punched him in the thoat.
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: But she founds up and down and punching his punk.
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: I asked, he's doing way too love it. Listen, we
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: gotta get out of here. If you want to instagram us,
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: your email us, your thoughts. So today's crazy Strawberry lay.
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: This is my favorite one though from this year. Email
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: us or instagram us and Steve Harvey FM now coming
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: up in ten minutes. Should we really ever blame the
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: other woman or the other man? Uh huh or the
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: other man? Let the men get some of this blame.
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: She come to bed with the thunder Cats superhero Shoot.
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: We'll be back right after this. You're listening to the show,
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: all right, So here's a question, guys, Should we really
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: ever blame the other woman or the other man? Now,
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: every time we hear that someone was left, they were
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: cheated on with another man or woman, folks, always we
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: always blame the person. We always blame that person first,
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: then they blame the significant other, the spouse. We always
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: blame the woman first. I mean, and that's down down
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: through history. We saw this happen most recently with the
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: Jordan Woods, Chloe Kardashian, and Trip Thompson's situation. So so
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: the question is who really should get the blame? I
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: think there's enough blame to go around, quite frank, Yeah,
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: but you know this is crazy, but normally the woman
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: is always the blame Toriian, Well, just on that case. Yeah,
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: on this particular case. But I mean when you think
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: about it, down through history, people mostly blame the woman. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: so the so then the question is like, okay, so
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: if you're in a relationship and you leave that relationship
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: to get with someone else, whole's fault? Is it? Is
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: it the new person's fault, you know, the woman's fault,
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: or is it the man's fault for leaving and hurting
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: his significant other? You mean, but you know what I mean,
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: But he had to have had you're saying, a relationship
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: with this other person before he left his significant other,
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: right yeah yeah, yeah, so he was cheating. Yeah yeah,
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: they see. Well, you know, look, whoever is in the
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: supposed committed relationship is to blame for breaking their commitment.
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: That's you know, Look, you're not you're not. You can't
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: blame the other person. The other person ain't promised you nothing.
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: The other other person didn't take no vows. The other
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: person didn't promise you nothing. Your directed anger should be
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: at the person who broke the commitment to who broke
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: your trust. That's your problem now, you can feel now
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: if you see her, you're gonna have problem with her.
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: Because she knew that you were in a relationship. Why
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: didn't she leave you alone? That that's the other argument,
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying, that's the argument on the
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: other side, Well, she knew we were in a relationship.
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: Why was she in it and she already knew he
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: had a girl? Or why did he pursue? It's the
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: bigger question. But because see, if it wasn't her, it
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: would have been somebody else. Because if he's in to
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: pursue other women business, it doesn't matter that it's her.
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: If it's not her, it's gonna be somebody else he pursued, right, yeah,
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: because he in the pursue game. But the women so
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: most of the time, gets blamed, get blamed for that
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: women do she knew we were in a relationship that
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: women don't usually blame the men if the men cheat,
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: I mean after the fact. Yeah, but and and they
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: go so far as to take the man back that
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: is cheated on. Yeah. Yeah, but the woman is outcast. Yeah,
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: they threw with her. Yeah, they're done. So you said,
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: blame the person that with the commitment. I agree with it. Yeah,
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: I do too. That's how it should That's how it
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: should go. But it doesn't often go that way. You're
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: right though, Yeah, Well, I blame my best friend for
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: breaking out, breaking up what he dated. He ended up
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: messing around with my girlfriend long long time ago. But
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: I've blamed his ass at the junior is Well, don't
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: don't say that, Timmy. You know is everything gets so
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: personal on this show. I know I'm trying. He know
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: who it is to see we comedian, that's how we
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: we we that jumps come from this therapy, jumps that
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: come from that j Yeah. I come back and then
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: I catch them kissing on the cap like oh dog.
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: But they looked at me like you're gonna put that
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: in the kitchen. No, I'm not gonna put that in
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: the kitchen. You had time, you know, you know, he
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: looking like tim looking like, are you gonna put that
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: down right there? No? I just caught you kissing my girl. Yeah,
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: you went to the store and something. Yeah, and you
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: left them alone in the house. Yeah, and you come
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: but this is your boy, Yeah, you come back over.
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: Do you know that? Say? Oh, man, you got to
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: be kidding me. But he looked at me and allays something, Man,
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: what's up? Man? You're gonna put that in the kitchen
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: like you're living like you gonna put that in the kitchen,
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: like the drace is going in the kitchen right now.
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: Cocacafs back in, Like I said, we wouldn't be in
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: time about everything. That's how you get paid. If I
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: walk in to my house and my pardner kissing my
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: girl on the couch, yeah, it's gonna be some hell
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: up in him. It's gonna be some real hell up
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: in him, because dog, my house dog, and you think
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: less of me. You don't even have enough respect for me.
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: You already disrespecting me with my girl, and so was
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: she disrespecting me with you. But you're gonna come in
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: my house like I ain't nothing. Oh gnaw, dog, I
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: promise you me and your asses at wall. But see
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: and that's normally what happens, Steve, that's normally what happens.
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: That's that's normally what happens. What you just said. But
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: earlier you said it's the responsibility of the one who's
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: in the commitment. Yeah, but see now if here you
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: see it and see exception, it's a double standard. No,
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: I get it, but I'm saying it ain't no double standards.
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: This is what. Okay, go ahead, finish your thought. Now
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: I'm listening to me. Now we're in this here. But
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: now if you might, dude, yeah, and I know you
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: see now we got to go into man code. Man
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: code is you don't do your boys. Girl. There's too
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: many women out here that's available. So now you over
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: here in mind. Then you in my house. Yeah, that's
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: what happened to care same thing. Why wasn't that in
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: my house? It was her house? Yeah? Well, oh, I
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: was a comedian, you know, I just thought I handed
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: over to I went just for shelf. But it was
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: your friend, though I don't understand. We had to stay
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: at plate with fush that this is yeah, you where
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: you were told four places, but I was homeless. Man.
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: I probably told about six girls and they believed you
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: in lease, I had let me stay that I love
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: you nice. So they come home, I'll be cooking everything,
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: You'll be doing everything. Yeah, and just just just noted Junior.
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: We can steal for his age. He's still around, all right,
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: all right, we gotta go all right. Coming up at
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: the top of the hour, Diddy is admitting that he's
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: heartbroken for not marrying kim Porter. We're gonna talk about
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: the fear of commitment issues at the top of the
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: hour round right after this. You're listening, all right? So
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: did He admits that he played himself by not marrying
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: kim Porter. Uh? Did? He is still mourning the loss
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: of the late kim Porter and seems like he's having
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: some regrets on what could have been. Did. He shared
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: an old picture of himself cuddled up with his late
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: ex girlfriend on the Graham and the caption the post
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: was shaking my head a SMH with a broken heart emoji.
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: The tribute prompted a response from one follower who questioned
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: why he never married the mother of his three children.
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: They said, when she was alive, you didn't want to
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: marry her. Confused snegro gt f oh h gets the
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: blank out of here? What that means? That's that's so
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: foul of people. But did he agreed, though, Steve, No,
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: I mean, you know, but I mean, he's your grief.
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: People don't understand grief. Grief put you in a place. Man.
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: You don't know how to do this. This ain't no
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: book on this hill. So he he went wild. I
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: blew it And that's what he said. Basically, he blew it.
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: He got that. But here on the other thing, but
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: you know, people telling about get out of here, knee
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: growing all that, you know, damn people really really demand crushed. Yeah,
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: he crushed. You can make a mistake. You can make
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: a mistake that you can't get back. Not on the ground,
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: but look at me on the social media. Yeah you're
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: right about that. But see, I hate to tell you this,
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: but there are mistakes that you can make that you
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: can't get back. That's right. And I love what he
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: said though, because this, this to me came from a
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: real honest place. Did he agreed and replied, I know,
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: I played myself. Wow wow wow, So that he heard no,
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: so many levels. Yeah. So it brings up the question
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: about the fear of commitments. That see what kind of
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: advice can you give people that I mean, going through
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: that they're afraid to commit, or how to over look
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: I understand. You know, the fear of commitment comes from
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: the fear of failure. It comes from the field of
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: getting hurt. That comes from the field rejection. When you
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: don't want to commit, there's a fear phobia attached to it,
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: commitment to action, feel of getting hurt, and just the
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: fear of man, I might not be able to keep
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: my promise. It's a it's a lot that can go
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: into that. But you know, at one point in time,
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: as men, we all got to come to the conclusion
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: that we got to find somebody to make it to
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: the take with. You can't be an old player. They
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: don't look good. Old players don't look good. Now you know,
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: you sixty, You still at the club? You fit this
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: still at the club, don't It ain't a good look.
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: You gotta take the step. Hey, man, let me tell
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: you something. I gotta tell you something. I went to
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: Jay Z's Gold party, what really really nice class event.
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: But I was in there, man, and for a while
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: I was the oldest person, and then of course it
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: came in there and I feel so much man. Right,
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: I went over there, set Renny Man hug took picture
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: with you. Ain't gonna take no picture, but seriously, see
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: if you were feeling some kind of way. Seriously, No,
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: I wasn't really feeling no kind of way because there
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: was a lot of people. I knew a lot of
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: industry people. But you know, man, but do you know
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: what I realized the whole time I was walking around,
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: This really ain't what I do. So you age checking
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: room dog when you're in it. I mean, you know,
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: I realized, you know, I'm old enough if my daughters
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: in the damn room. Wise I'm here. Yeah, you know, really,
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: I mean really, man, and I just it's not But
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: it wasn't one of those like a club. It was
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: an invite only party, so it was different. But and
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: it was a lot of people I hadn't seen in
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: a long time, so it was cool. But if that
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: were a club setting, I'm a fish out of water.
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: I don't even belong any Yeah. It was people coming
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: up to me, man telling me man stories about how
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: we met, what I did for him, how I meant
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: something to him. Something. Body said, Hi, inspider Man, you
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: mean a lot man. I watched you. I grew up
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: with this, I mean, had some great stories coming from people,
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: but I realized, yo, man, I'm gonna go to old fences.
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: So at one point time to the point I'm making
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: is as a man, we gotta get to a point
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: man where we grow up and it's time to find
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: somebody's daughter to make it to the tape with, because
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: it's just not a little good. I used the analogy
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: all the time. If you ever drive and on a
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: field and you see an old horse in the field
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: and he got that sway in his back and his
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: stomach is damn the touching the grass, you know, and
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: he standing there just looking over the fence. You know,
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: he ain't active in the stallions behind him, they high stepping, bucking, kicking, running,
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: chasing each other. That old horse just looking whatever. Because
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: you know what, he don't look good in the field.
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: That horse looks his absolute best back in the barn. See,
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: because you don't don't look good in the field. And
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: when you're an old dude and you got your little
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: stomach on your knowledge, you ain't what you was. You
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: don't look good out there playing the field. You look
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: good in the barn. They bring hay in the bomb.
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: They wash you in the bomb. They got a little
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: tread meal in the bar. You ain't got to go
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: out there in the field, mess with all the big
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: black ass stallions standing up. Man, just they didn't heat,
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: they ran back. Fight. They ain't what you're doing. And
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: so every man has to come to that point. And
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: I just think, man that you know, Puffy is at
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: that point and he gets it and he's hurt. But man,
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: the brother's hurt though many see I hear the hurt.
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: But he better than me because I don't like responding
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: to people, you know, But get out of here, Negro,
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: you all this right here? Yeah, man, I should have
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: did that. You right, I should have did that. Yeah,
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: I was. I was sure. I was. It was a
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: heartfelt response, you know, from from him. But you know, man,
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: it's some mistakes. You can't ever get that. And that's
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: one of the brands. It's some stakes. Or have you
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: ever wish you ever saying something somebody in they pass
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: that's okay? Don't you can't You can't get that back,
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: a man, Yeah, until you get to heaven. Yeah, the
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: things we say different. If we knew that the last
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: time we was gonna see absolutely, it'd be something totally
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: different being said. Yeah, but but seriously, that's really how
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: we should be living our lives anyway. But we don't,
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: you know what I mean, we don't. But Steve, back
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: to the party and you being the oldest one there,
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: I think it's a reason they invited you because you're
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: You're an icon and an idle to them. They look
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: up you, a legend. They look up to you. You know,
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: you've done so much in entertainment. You still look great. Yeah,
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: you still look great. You still have advice for them.
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: They love having you around, you know what I mean? Yeah,
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: Rihanna said something to me, and I've never had a
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: conversation with Rihanna in life. She loves my wife and
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: she loves my daughter. Hang on, hang on with that thought. Okay,
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: we gotta take a quick break. We'll have more of
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this. You're listening
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: to show, all right? So Snoop Dogg has completely, when
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: I say completely, lost faith in the Lakers. He has, really, really,
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: really he's done all right. He's a lifelong Laker fan,
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: of course, and he's a sports fan too. He went
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: on a rant on social media while Some found his
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: commentary funny. Others were left, you know, it's just Smahan
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: shaking their heads and saying Snoop across the line with
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: some inappropriate and inflammatory remarks during his rent Somebody gotta
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: go a matter of fact, A lot of gotta go,
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: starting with the coach. Well, this ain't gonna work. This
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: is not the la Way ship all of the time.
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: Get a slave ship and ship all and saw him
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: up the out of here. Snoop, tell us how you
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: really feel, Dug? Really, oh man, we couldn't. They got
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: to be on the ship came. We sent him to
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: the dog with slave ships. Though, how have you seen
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: Junior can think? Snoop? Man, I think he really. I
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: think he's upset because he said they had to get
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: on the slave They just couldn't just go home. Yeah
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: you know, I god, yeah, but he a fan though,
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: this is his team. So you talked about your team
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: like you want. I said stuff about the Texas So
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: I ain't gonna really judge Snoop. That's this thing, that's
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: his thing. Yeah, yeah, it was. It was a bit much.
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: Sources close to Snoop tried to downplay it. They were
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: saying it was racially insensitive. Uh. You know when he
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: mentioned slave ship, if he had just said chosen another phrase,
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: I guess it would have been okay. But slave ship.
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: They were saying that Snoop doesn't have a racist bone
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: in his body. Um, but standing behind the claims that
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: the team is trash. Now they said that part was true.
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: He went a little far with the slave ship. Ye no, no, no, no,
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: but uh, the team is trash though even when Lebron,
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: they got Lebron. Come on, guy, it's just just Lebron.
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: He has no support, just Lebron, though he needs fourteen
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: other players that's gonna play Wow, And it's a it's
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: a real tricky situation. But they got some people playing.
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: Don't kill you. But I got a question in Junior,
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: So I got a question. So is this the first
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: year that Lebron may not be in the playoffs? It'd
- 1:26:59Speaker 1: be a second, a second his second. The only other
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: times Lebron did not make the playoffs was his second
- 1:27:05Speaker 1: year in the NBA, about fifteen years and about he finished.
- 1:27:12Speaker 1: I bet he finishing vacations so fast. It's so many
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: places he wanted to see in the month of June. Junior,
- 1:27:20Speaker 1: they're not going to the playoffs. They're gonna make the playoffs.
- 1:27:23Speaker 1: What they're still in number of ten spot right now? Yeah,
- 1:27:26Speaker 1: they're still number ten spots and you gotta be you
- 1:27:28Speaker 1: gotta be in number eight. Yeah, they probably not. What
- 1:27:31Speaker 1: is the issue? Seriously, what you mean I know that? No, sure,
- 1:27:39Speaker 1: that's the issue. They number is always lower than the
- 1:27:41Speaker 1: other team they play, which is a loss. I'm saying
- 1:27:45Speaker 1: they need some more forwards, some more guards, some fairly. Stop.
- 1:27:50Speaker 1: You sound like you're putting together a puzzle or something.
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: I mean, seriously, Okay, we gotta go. All right, We'll
- 1:27:55Speaker 1: be back with more of the sea. So forward, Look,
- 1:28:01Speaker 1: we gotta go. You're listening to show. So. R Kelly
- 1:28:07Speaker 1: did an interview with Gail King from CDs this morning.
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: During the interview, R Kelly denied the allegations against him.
- 1:28:15Speaker 1: He became very emotional while defending himself. He broke down
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: in tears. Take a listen and correct me if I'm
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: wrong that you have never held anybody against their will.
- 1:28:25Speaker 1: I don't need to. Why would I, well, how stupid
- 1:28:28Speaker 1: would never help Mark Kelly with all I've been through
- 1:28:32Speaker 1: in my way, way pass to hold somebody, let alone
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: four or five six fifth. You say it? Why, how
- 1:28:41Speaker 1: stupid would I be to do that? I didn't say
- 1:28:43Speaker 1: that's stupid. Guys, is this camera on me? Yes, that's stupid.
- 1:28:49Speaker 1: Use your common sense. Don't forget the blots, but get
- 1:28:53Speaker 1: how you feel about me. Hate me if you want,
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: to love me if you want, but just use your
- 1:28:57Speaker 1: common sense. How stupid would it be for me took
- 1:29:01Speaker 1: with my crazy passing what I've been through? Oh right now,
- 1:29:06Speaker 1: I just think I need to be a monster and
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: whole girls against the wheel, chain them up in my
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: basement and and don't let them eat, and don't let
- 1:29:13Speaker 1: them out unless they need some shoes down the street
- 1:29:17Speaker 1: from their uncle Rob. Y'all, quit plan, Quit plan. I
- 1:29:22Speaker 1: didn't do this stuff. This is not me, y'all, fight
- 1:29:25Speaker 1: for my life? Whoa, Okay call it. I'm not whoa?
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: What's the shoes down the street story? I don't know
- 1:29:34Speaker 1: that part. I don't know. I don't know. I didn't know.
- 1:29:37Speaker 1: I don't know what this is. Yeah, this is tragic, man,
- 1:29:42Speaker 1: for everyone. This is mostly the victims. Yeah, this is
- 1:29:47Speaker 1: a huge tragedy for everybody, especially the victim. You know, Um,
- 1:29:58Speaker 1: I don't like to see someth body fall I get
- 1:30:04Speaker 1: no enjoyment from it. I just I've never been that person.
- 1:30:08Speaker 1: I just hate to see people fall. And hear me clearly,
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: I hate to see people fall because I wish they
- 1:30:15Speaker 1: had made other decisions that would have prevented this in
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: their life, because now what they got to suffer through
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: is because of a decision they made. And then if
- 1:30:25Speaker 1: you leave victims along the wayside, oh my god, man,
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: the scar tissue that's that that could be on these
- 1:30:33Speaker 1: young people. But you know, I'm fighting for my life.
- 1:30:38Speaker 1: I understand. I understand that statement, you know, I do.
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: And I hate that some decisions got made or some
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: accusations got made, and some deeds got done. But now, man,
- 1:30:52Speaker 1: see when this thing go to court. See we're talking
- 1:30:56Speaker 1: about evidence now, Steve on March twenty second, and we
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: talk it Everdence, Yes, and we can, we can. We
- 1:31:04Speaker 1: can take whatever plea we want if they come in there, whatever,
- 1:31:09Speaker 1: dance man, we got a whole other moss that we
- 1:31:11Speaker 1: got to deal with it, right. Yeah. He's been accused
- 1:31:14Speaker 1: of sexually abusing four victims, three of them were underage girls.
- 1:31:19Speaker 1: The abuse goes back twenty years, from nineteen ninety eight
- 1:31:21Speaker 1: to twenty ten. Our Kelly right now is out unbond.
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: That's how he's able to do the interview with Kale
- 1:31:27Speaker 1: King and again he's due back in court on March
- 1:31:30Speaker 1: twenty second. Ah, this is just I mean, there are
- 1:31:35Speaker 1: no winners in this situation. They're just this is horrible,
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: This is just it's it's unspeakable. Yeah, you know what
- 1:31:44Speaker 1: he allegedly did. And we've been hearing about this for
- 1:31:48Speaker 1: a very long time and you know he has to
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: go to court now. All right, coming up, we're gonna
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: do our last break of the day and Steve will
- 1:31:56Speaker 1: have his closing remarks right after this. You're listening show,
- 1:32:03Speaker 1: Steve Harvey. You've brought your fabulous and very insightful, very informal,
- 1:32:07Speaker 1: very motivating closing remarks. Back is something that you started
- 1:32:11Speaker 1: years ago when you first started the Steve Harvey Morning Show,
- 1:32:13Speaker 1: and people have grown to love them and you know,
- 1:32:16Speaker 1: to live by them and be inspired by them. So
- 1:32:18Speaker 1: what do you have for us yesterday? A real good
- 1:32:22Speaker 1: piece of motivation and makes your quest to become successful
- 1:32:25Speaker 1: a little bit simpler. You know, oftentimes people are stuck
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: in a rut because they can't think they way clear
- 1:32:35Speaker 1: to see the end result. What I mean by is
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: some people make such lofty goals and then they sit
- 1:32:42Speaker 1: there without a plan of attack to achieve that lofty goal,
- 1:32:47Speaker 1: until they've created a goal that seems so daunting that
- 1:32:51Speaker 1: they don't even start the process of a trying to
- 1:32:54Speaker 1: accomplish it. For example. And this doesn't have to be
- 1:32:58Speaker 1: the case. I'm just using this as an example. Let's
- 1:33:01Speaker 1: say you want to be a millionaire and you say, wow,
- 1:33:04Speaker 1: I want to make a million dollars, and then you
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: start thinking of how to make the million dollars, and
- 1:33:10Speaker 1: because you can't, it becomes so daunted. Making a million
- 1:33:15Speaker 1: dollars is difficult. If it were easy, wouldn't you do
- 1:33:17Speaker 1: it by Friday? Wouldn't you? Of course you would. But
- 1:33:23Speaker 1: it's a little more difficult than that. So here's what
- 1:33:27Speaker 1: I had to learn in my life. Everybody listening to
- 1:33:30Speaker 1: this was born with a gift. It's inside of you.
- 1:33:35Speaker 1: Because God is very fair. He didn't put it on
- 1:33:37Speaker 1: a mountaintop, he didn't hide it under a rock. It's
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: in you. And your gift is the thing that you
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: do the absolute best with the least amount of effort.
- 1:33:47Speaker 1: In that lies your greatest chance for success. There's a
- 1:33:51Speaker 1: scripture that says your gift will make room for you
- 1:33:56Speaker 1: and put you in the presence of great men. Let's
- 1:33:59Speaker 1: just look at the first part of that, your gift
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: will make room for you. My interpretation of that has
- 1:34:06Speaker 1: meant what my gift has done for me. It has
- 1:34:08Speaker 1: allowed me to spread out, It has taken me places
- 1:34:11Speaker 1: I never dreamed got gold. Your gift will do the
- 1:34:15Speaker 1: same thing for you. So now let's just talk about
- 1:34:19Speaker 1: your ability to get to the million. I think it's
- 1:34:22Speaker 1: what your gift because if that's what that He gave
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: you and instill that you at birth, was to make
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: room for you, here's your chance. Now how do I
- 1:34:31Speaker 1: do that? Steve? I call it to maximize your effort
- 1:34:34Speaker 1: by ten theory. It's just something I came up with
- 1:34:37Speaker 1: driving when I was home listening, coming up without to
- 1:34:40Speaker 1: make it, and I discovered something. All of you have
- 1:34:43Speaker 1: something that some would pay you ten dollars to do.
- 1:34:46Speaker 1: Some of you paint, some of you teach, some of
- 1:34:49Speaker 1: you babysitting tutors. Some of you work with your hands.
- 1:34:54Speaker 1: Some of you can sing, some of you can choreograph.
- 1:34:58Speaker 1: Some of you there's so many things. Cut grass, play
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: the piano, some of you do something. Some of y'all
- 1:35:06Speaker 1: work on cards, some of y'all dry, but all of
- 1:35:08Speaker 1: you have something that you will do that someone will
- 1:35:11Speaker 1: give you ten dollars to do. All of you have
- 1:35:14Speaker 1: something that someone will pay you ten dollars to because
- 1:35:18Speaker 1: you do something that someone else can't do. So now
- 1:35:21Speaker 1: all you gotta do instead of trying to figure out
- 1:35:23Speaker 1: how to make a million dollars, it's go make the
- 1:35:25Speaker 1: ten dollars that you're able to make. Once you make
- 1:35:28Speaker 1: that ten dollars, I want you to do it ten
- 1:35:29Speaker 1: more times. When you do it ten more times, you
- 1:35:31Speaker 1: now have one hundred dollars. Once you have a hundred dollars,
- 1:35:34Speaker 1: it's very simple. Do the same thing you did to
- 1:35:36Speaker 1: make one hundred dollars ten more times. You now have
- 1:35:39Speaker 1: one thousand dollars. So you don't have to keep thinking
- 1:35:42Speaker 1: of something else to do. Just keep doing the same
- 1:35:45Speaker 1: thing that you've been doing. Just do it. Multiply the effort.
- 1:35:48Speaker 1: It's the effort that maximizes and brings about the fruition
- 1:35:51Speaker 1: of what your life can be. So if you make
- 1:35:54Speaker 1: a thousand dollars and you do that ten more times,
- 1:35:56Speaker 1: I have news for you. Now have ten thousand dollars. Now,
- 1:36:02Speaker 1: in order to make a one hundred thousand, you might
- 1:36:03Speaker 1: need a little bit of help. You might need to
- 1:36:04Speaker 1: hire somebody and help you do the thing that you do.
- 1:36:07Speaker 1: But if you make ten thousand dollars and you do
- 1:36:09Speaker 1: what you did to make ten thousand dollars, which is
- 1:36:11Speaker 1: the same thing you did to make ten dollars, if
- 1:36:13Speaker 1: you do it ten more times, you now have a
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: hundred thousand dollars. Now listen to me, my friends. Once
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: you have a hundred thousand dollars, I could assure you
- 1:36:22Speaker 1: you're going to need help because in order to maximize
- 1:36:26Speaker 1: one hundred thousand dollars, you have to have some like
- 1:36:28Speaker 1: minded people around you. Nobody gets to the top alone.
- 1:36:32Speaker 1: Nobody becomes successful and wealthy by themselves. They formed partnerships, relationships,
- 1:36:37Speaker 1: they get employees. But once you make a hundred thousand
- 1:36:40Speaker 1: dollars doing the same thing you did to make ten dollars,
- 1:36:43Speaker 1: if you do it ten more times, I have news
- 1:36:46Speaker 1: for you, my friends. Congratulations, you have just made one
- 1:36:49Speaker 1: million dollars with a ten dollar idea. Stop trying to
- 1:36:53Speaker 1: figure out how to make the million. What all you
- 1:36:55Speaker 1: gotta do is take your ten dollars gift that God
- 1:36:57Speaker 1: has put in you. It's a million dollars gift that
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: you have. You just haven't broken it down inch by
- 1:37:03Speaker 1: inch anything that sinch and maximize the efforts. That's how
- 1:37:06Speaker 1: you become successful. These jokes that pay me what I
- 1:37:09Speaker 1: make now, it's the same jokes that pay me twenty
- 1:37:12Speaker 1: five dollars a night. They the same jokes. It's all English.
- 1:37:17Speaker 1: This is not in another language. I don't know no
- 1:37:21Speaker 1: more words now than I knew them. I've taken these
- 1:37:25Speaker 1: twenty five dollars jokes and I maximize them over and
- 1:37:29Speaker 1: over and over and over and over and over and over.
- 1:37:33Speaker 1: It's the same jokes I was telling. Babysitters who charge
- 1:37:38Speaker 1: fifty dollars to watch kids. Babysitters end up opening up
- 1:37:42Speaker 1: daycare centers. Daycare centers turned into franchises, crim Dela, crim
- 1:37:48Speaker 1: Monastory schools. These are national franchises. Somebody was just babysitting.
- 1:37:56Speaker 1: My partner used to cut grass. First three dollars in
- 1:37:59Speaker 1: the front, three dollars in their back. He got a
- 1:38:02Speaker 1: lasscape coming in Cleveland. He made four million dollars a year.
- 1:38:05Speaker 1: You know what he do? He cut grass, same six
- 1:38:08Speaker 1: dollar grass cutting he's been doing. You check out some trucks. Now,
- 1:38:12Speaker 1: what is it that you do that somebody will pay
- 1:38:15Speaker 1: you ten dollars that you can maximize your effort for
- 1:38:17Speaker 1: and turn it into your million. But trying to figure
- 1:38:20Speaker 1: out how to make the million. Take your ten dollars
- 1:38:22Speaker 1: skills set and start hammering it and beating it and
- 1:38:26Speaker 1: working it and grinding and hustling and multiplying and magnifying it,
- 1:38:30Speaker 1: and you will make a million dollars. That's my clothing remarks.
