  As we near unto Resurrection Sunday, what some

  folks call Easter, I find myself mindful of what

  Jesus endured for our sins. The scourging, the

  beating with a rod, the mocking, the actual crucifixion,

  the suffocation, and death, and being buried

  in a borrowed tomb. It was horrible what he went
• 0:20
  through. And before he went through it, in Matthew

  chapter... 26, verse 42, it says that Jesus went
• 0:27
  away a second time into the garden, praying,
• 0:30
  saying, My Father, if this cup cannot pass away
• 0:33
  unless I drink from it, your will be done. I'd
• 0:37
  say this is a model example. We talk about the
• 0:39
  Lord's Prayer sometimes. We talk about our Father
• 0:41
  who art in heaven. The truth is, I think this
• 0:44
  is the Lord's Prayer. Also, there was a prayer
• 0:46
  for unity. I think we need to realize that sometimes
• 0:49
  life is hard. There's suffering, difficulty.

  Sometimes it's weeks, months, years, decades.

  We don't understand why some things happen. But

  we do know that if we didn't have the grace of
• 0:58
  Jesus Christ, if we weren't saved, we'd go to
• 1:00
  hell. And therefore, all the suffering that we
• 1:03
  face, I mean, we're doomed. Far worse, I guess.

  Say to God today, I don't like what I'm going
• 1:08
  through, and I'd like you to change it. But regardless,
• 1:10
  your will be done, not my will.
