Latest / The Ben Ferguson Podcast / Ukraine Drones Russia, Chinese Nationals Caught for alleged Agri-Terror & the Real Threat of Terrorists in America Week In Review
Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome in his verdict with Center Ted Cruz Weekend Review,
- 0:04Speaker 1: Ben Ferguson with you, and here are the major stories
- 0:06Speaker 1: that we talked about this week that you may have missed.
- 0:10Speaker 1: First up, Ukraine drone strike on Russia, how it was done,
- 0:14Speaker 1: It was truly incredible, and what does it mean moving forward? Also,
- 0:19Speaker 1: two Chinese nationals with biopathogens snuck them into the US,
- 0:25Speaker 1: and we're going to do research at the University of Michigan.
- 0:28Speaker 1: How many more could there be in this country just
- 0:30Speaker 1: like them? And what does this mean for China and America?
- 0:34Speaker 1: That explained as well. And finally, the real threat of
- 0:38Speaker 1: other terrorists being here in the US after the Colorado attack.
- 0:43Speaker 1: So how big of a threat was Biden's open borders
- 0:46Speaker 1: and how many terrorists could be lying in Wait, it's
- 0:49Speaker 1: the weekend review and it starts right now. I want
- 0:52Speaker 1: to move to the other big story, and that is
- 0:55Speaker 1: Ukraine claims a massive drone strike on Russia and all
- 1:01Speaker 1: across literally the country from one side the other. They
- 1:05Speaker 1: were hitting sites of Russian bombers and what was called
- 1:10Speaker 1: a spider web operation. I want to make sure though
- 1:14Speaker 1: that people understand this was a response to an attack
- 1:20Speaker 1: that took place at the hands of Russia and Putin
- 1:24Speaker 1: that Donald Trump referred to him as a crazy man afterwards.
- 1:27Speaker 1: So let's give the background before we explain what happened.
- 1:31Speaker 2: Well, Listen, the war has been ongoing for more than
- 1:34Speaker 2: two years now. There's been massive casualties on both sides.
- 1:39Speaker 2: Russia is the aggressor Russia. Russia is the wrongdoer. Putin
- 1:44Speaker 2: invaded Ukraine or another sovereign nation. Putin did so because
- 1:49Speaker 2: Joe Biden was so incredibly weak, because he was ineffective
- 1:52Speaker 2: commander in chief. Putin did so because Joe Biden waived
- 1:57Speaker 2: the sanctions on nord Stream two, the pipeline that designed
- 2:00Speaker 2: to move natural gas directly from Russia to Germany. I
- 2:05Speaker 2: authored those sanctions, I passed them into law, and President
- 2:09Speaker 2: Trump signed my sanctions legislation into law. Putin shut down
- 2:12Speaker 2: Nordstream two literally the day Trump signed my sanctions legislation
- 2:17Speaker 2: into law. Biden waived those sanctions, and Putin completed the
- 2:22Speaker 2: pipeline and almost immediately invaded Ukraine. So the war has
- 2:26Speaker 2: been ongoing and it is the cause. The cause of
- 2:31Speaker 2: it is Biden's weakness. Well, what happened today Ukraine? You
- 2:35Speaker 2: know I'll tell you at the start of the war,
- 2:37Speaker 2: I remember sitting in a classified briefing, and it was
- 2:40Speaker 2: a classified briefing with all one hundred senators. And we
- 2:43Speaker 2: had in that briefing with the Secretary of State, with
- 2:45Speaker 2: the Secretary of Defense, with the Chairman of the Joint
- 2:47Speaker 2: Chiefs of Staff, with the head of the CIA, the
- 2:50Speaker 2: Director of National Intelligence. We had multiple players throughout the
- 2:54Speaker 2: national security apparatus. This is all during the Biden administration.
- 2:57Speaker 2: Every single one of them briefed all of the senators.
- 3:01Speaker 2: They said, this war will be over within a week.
- 3:04Speaker 2: Russia will sweep in, they'll conquer the whole country. Ukraine
- 3:07Speaker 2: will fall, and within a week Kiev will be a
- 3:10Speaker 2: Russian city. Now that intel, that national security assessment ben
- 3:16Speaker 2: it wasn't slightly wrong, It wasn't a teeny bit wrong.
- 3:21Speaker 2: It was totally catastrophically one hundred and eighty degrees false.
- 3:25Speaker 2: We're sitting here more than two years later, the war
- 3:27Speaker 2: is ongoing, and the Ukrainians keep shocking both the Russians
- 3:33Speaker 2: and the American analysts who insists that they must lose.
- 3:36Speaker 2: They must lose this latest strike, it truly is audacious.
- 3:40Speaker 2: So the Ukrainians hit more than forty Russian bombers inside
- 3:45Speaker 2: Russian territory, and it was a total of forty one
- 3:49Speaker 2: strategic Russian aircraft. The name of the operation was Spiderweb
- 3:55Speaker 2: and you can see online there's a video showing a
- 3:59Speaker 2: drone attack at the Belaya Air Base in Russia's Irkust region,
- 4:05Speaker 2: which is in Siberia, nearly three thousand miles away from Ukraine.
- 4:10Speaker 2: So understand this happened not by Ukraine but three thousand
- 4:13Speaker 2: miles away. And the bombers they're under attack, their explosions,
- 4:19Speaker 2: Smoke is rising from the scene and one source said
- 4:24Speaker 2: quote preliminary estimates indicate that enemy aviation has suffered over
- 4:28Speaker 2: two billion dollars in damage. Enemy strategic bombers are burning
- 4:35Speaker 2: en mass in Russia. That is a major attack. It
- 4:40Speaker 2: is an extraordinary attack. Now that follows the night before
- 4:46Speaker 2: Russia launched four hundred and seventy two drones according to
- 4:49Speaker 2: the Ukrainian Air Force. Earlier on Sunday, Ukraine's army set
- 4:55Speaker 2: a Russian missile strike killed at least twelve Ukrainian service
- 4:58Speaker 2: members and injured sixty. So Russia has been very much
- 5:02Speaker 2: the aggressor. But this attack taking out major aircraft resources
- 5:08Speaker 2: from Russia is a big victory for Ukraine.
- 5:12Speaker 1: It is a big, big victory. They are obviously worried individuals,
- 5:17Speaker 1: especially in that part of the world, that Russia will
- 5:19Speaker 1: then now retalied in some massive way and then therefore
- 5:24Speaker 1: blaming Ukraine saying you should not have done this attack
- 5:28Speaker 1: that took them a long time to plan strategically. I
- 5:31Speaker 1: want to get your response to that, because there does
- 5:34Speaker 1: seem to be quite often that when Ukraine does something,
- 5:38Speaker 1: the narrative becomes, well, they're the ones that will bring
- 5:42Speaker 1: us to the brink of World War III, because now
- 5:44Speaker 1: Russia is going to respond and it's actually their fault
- 5:47Speaker 1: that they went over the top on this one.
- 5:50Speaker 2: Yeah. Look, Russia has been the aggressor from the beginning.
- 5:52Speaker 2: Ukraine is defending itself. I want to break down how
- 5:56Speaker 2: they carry this out because it's actually this is the
- 5:58Speaker 2: stuff of spy novels. Know. We talked about when Israel
- 6:01Speaker 2: struck back against Hezbolah with with first the pagers and
- 6:05Speaker 2: then with the walkie talkies. That was an extraordinary story.
- 6:08Speaker 2: This has similar aspects. It's like something out of Mission
- 6:12Speaker 2: Impossible of the born identity. And let me read from
- 6:16Speaker 2: its historian Reuters the specific facts. Here's what Reuters reported
- 6:21Speaker 2: to attack Russian air bases. Ukrainian spies hid drones in
- 6:26Speaker 2: wooden sheds. Ukrainian secret services were able to attack strategic
- 6:31Speaker 2: bomber aircraft at Russian air bases on Sunday by hiding
- 6:35Speaker 2: explosive laden drones inside the roofs of wooden sheds, according
- 6:41Speaker 2: to a Ukrainian security official. Ukraine's domestic security agency, the SBU,
- 6:48Speaker 2: acknowledged that it carried out the operation code named Spider's Web,
- 6:51Speaker 2: and said that had caused considerable damage. The sheds were
- 6:56Speaker 2: loaded onto trucks that were driven to the perimeter of
- 6:59Speaker 2: the air base. The roof panels of the sheds were
- 7:03Speaker 2: lifted off by a remotely activated mechanism, allowing the drones
- 7:08Speaker 2: to fly out and begin their attack. The official set.
- 7:12Speaker 2: The security official, has spoken on conditions of anonymity, said
- 7:15Speaker 2: the strikes conducted on Sunday were on four air bases
- 7:19Speaker 2: and that forty one Russian warplanes were hit. An SBU
- 7:24Speaker 2: statement posted on the telegram messaging app estimated the damages
- 7:28Speaker 2: caused by the assault at seven billion dollars and here's
- 7:32Speaker 2: a quote. Thirty four percent of strategic cruise missile carriers
- 7:37Speaker 2: at the main airfields of the Russian Federation were hit. Wow,
- 7:42Speaker 2: that is remarkable. And it is the fact that they
- 7:46Speaker 2: could carry it out in wooden sheds, that they could
- 7:49Speaker 2: smuggle right next to the Russian airfield. That's a significant
- 7:53Speaker 2: tactical and strategic victory.
- 7:56Speaker 1: So when you look at this, what is the best
- 7:59Speaker 1: case scenario for this attack? Does it make Russia realize
- 8:03Speaker 1: A they're vulnerable and B maybe we need to go
- 8:07Speaker 1: back to the table because as you heard President Trump say,
- 8:11Speaker 1: he said Putin was crazy last week, a crazy man
- 8:15Speaker 1: and refusing to actually stop this war. Instead he went
- 8:19Speaker 1: on this big attack in Ukraine.
- 8:21Speaker 2: Ukraine responds, Yeah, Look, I think President Trump is deeply
- 8:25Speaker 2: frustrated with Vlatimir Putin right now. President Trump wants this
- 8:29Speaker 2: war to end. I believe this war will end. It
- 8:32Speaker 2: will end this year. And one of the reasons it's
- 8:34Speaker 2: going to end is I think the United States Congress
- 8:37Speaker 2: is done sending money to Ukraine that at this point
- 8:41Speaker 2: we have sent over one hundred billion dollars. Enough is enough.
- 8:44Speaker 2: This war needs to end. So the blank checkbook that
- 8:46Speaker 2: Joe Biden the Democrats gave that blank checkbook is done. Now,
- 8:51Speaker 2: what I believe is it needs to end in a
- 8:54Speaker 2: negotiated settlement, and it should end in a way that
- 8:57Speaker 2: is a clear and objectively discerned loss for Russia. Putin
- 9:02Speaker 2: is our enemy. Russia is our enemy, and we want
- 9:05Speaker 2: we want our enemies to be weaker and not stronger.
- 9:10Speaker 2: How this ends exactly, it's going to depend on Zelensky
- 9:13Speaker 2: and Putin. Zelensky right now doesn't want to negotiate a piece.
- 9:18Speaker 2: He's looking to fight and defend his country. I understand
- 9:21Speaker 2: that he just doesn't have an entitlement for us to
- 9:23Speaker 2: pay for it. Putin Putin right now, Trump believe that
- 9:27Speaker 2: if he leaned in, Putin would agree to come to
- 9:30Speaker 2: the table and seek terms of peace. At least so
- 9:33Speaker 2: far he hasn't. It is possible this devastating strike on
- 9:36Speaker 2: Russia will change Russia's calculus. That being said, look, one
- 9:40Speaker 2: of the dangerous things about fighting a dictatorship is that
- 9:44Speaker 2: Putin can inflict enormous pain and misery on the Russian
- 9:48Speaker 2: citizenry and still stay in power. So I don't know
- 9:51Speaker 2: how this resolves. I believe it will resolve at the
- 9:54Speaker 2: end of the day. But right now, Putin and Zelenski
- 9:57Speaker 2: both seem like they want to keep fighting.
- 9:59Speaker 1: Now I want to hear the rest of this conversation.
- 10:02Speaker 1: You can go back and listen to the full podcast
- 10:04Speaker 1: from earlier this week. Now onto story number two, Senator,
- 10:09Speaker 1: let's move to this. Really, I would say very shocking
- 10:15Speaker 1: and scary news that not one, but two Chinese nationals
- 10:19Speaker 1: have been charged by US federal authorities for allegedly smuggling
- 10:23Speaker 1: a dangerous agricultural pathogen into the United States of America.
- 10:28Speaker 1: It is basically, in Layman's terms, a fungus that poses
- 10:32Speaker 1: a significant threat to crops such as wheat, barley, and rice.
- 10:38Speaker 1: It could cause massive disease and an essence famine on
- 10:43Speaker 1: our agriculture in this country. And this was brought into
- 10:46Speaker 1: this country, and it just screams of another example of
- 10:51Speaker 1: why you don't trust China and why we have to
- 10:54Speaker 1: watch them and protect ourselves. It reminds, I think a
- 10:57Speaker 1: lot of people of COVID nineteen. But this could literally
- 11:00Speaker 1: recavoc on our entire national security from a basic we
- 11:06Speaker 1: need food to live strategy. If it was weaponized against.
- 11:10Speaker 2: Us, well, this is a story. Unfortunately, you're not going
- 11:14Speaker 2: to watch on the corporate media, ABCNBCCBS, they're not going
- 11:17Speaker 2: to cover it. But China is our enemy, and China
- 11:22Speaker 2: is I think the greatest geopolitical threat we have for
- 11:25Speaker 2: the next one hundred years. We saw with COVID the
- 11:28Speaker 2: incredible threats of a pathogen, of a virus that that
- 11:31Speaker 2: that that can can do enormous damage, can destroy trillions
- 11:35Speaker 2: of dollars, can can take massive toll in human life. Well,
- 11:39Speaker 2: this story and I just want to read to you
- 11:41Speaker 2: a tweet from the director of the FBI, Cash Betel.
- 11:45Speaker 2: Here's what the FBI director said, quote new I can
- 11:49Speaker 2: confirm that the FBI arrested a Chinese national within the
- 11:54Speaker 2: United States who allegedly smuggled a dangerous bio biological pathogen
- 12:00Speaker 2: into the country. The individual, Young Quinn Jian, is alleged
- 12:06Speaker 2: to have smuggled a dangerous fungus called Fusarium gramminarium, which
- 12:13Speaker 2: is an agro terrorism agent, into the US to research
- 12:18Speaker 2: at the University of Michigan where she works. This fungus
- 12:23Speaker 2: can cause a disease called head blight, a disease of wheat, barley, maize,
- 12:30Speaker 2: and rice, causing significant health issues in both humans and livestock.
- 12:36Speaker 2: It is responsible for billions of dollars in economic losses
- 12:40Speaker 2: worldwide each year. Evidence also indicates Jian had expressed loyalty
- 12:47Speaker 2: to the Chinese Communist Party and had received funding from
- 12:52Speaker 2: the Chinese government for similar work on this pathogen in China.
- 12:58Speaker 2: Jian's boyfriend, Zunya Liu, also charged in the complaint, works
- 13:04Speaker 2: at a Chinese university where he conducts research on the
- 13:09Speaker 2: same pathogen. Liu is alleged to a first liede that
- 13:15Speaker 2: admitted to also smuggling fusarium gran grannarium into America through
- 13:23Speaker 2: the Detroit Metropolitan Airport so that he too could conduct
- 13:28Speaker 2: research at the University of Michigan. Both individuals have been
- 13:33Speaker 2: charged with conspiracy, smuggling goods into the United States, false statements,
- 13:39Speaker 2: and visa fraud. This case is a sobering reminder that
- 13:44Speaker 2: the CCP is working around the clock to deploy operatives
- 13:49Speaker 2: and researchers to infiltrate American institutions and target our food supply,
- 13:56Speaker 2: which would have grave consequences, putting American lives, lives, and
- 14:00Speaker 2: our economy at serious risk. Your FBI will continue working
- 14:05Speaker 2: tirelessly to be on guard against it.
- 14:08Speaker 1: You go through this and let's unpack it and just
- 14:12Speaker 1: go back a little bit to pain. I think the
- 14:15Speaker 1: broader picture, we've seen China financially infiltrate our colleges, our
- 14:24Speaker 1: best colleges. We have seen them by influence. We saw
- 14:27Speaker 1: this hell with the Biden Institute. For goodness sakes, we
- 14:30Speaker 1: have witnessed the number of Chinese students that we allow
- 14:33Speaker 1: to come into this country, be trained here, have access
- 14:36Speaker 1: to R and D here. And then we've witnessed what
- 14:40Speaker 1: our government did under Fauci with the amount of money
- 14:43Speaker 1: we were sending to China that was doing a lot
- 14:46Speaker 1: of this type of research and other things. And we
- 14:49Speaker 1: shouldn't be surprised that this is happening now. But this
- 14:54Speaker 1: again goes back to the vulnerability. If China is sending
- 14:57Speaker 1: you money and sending millions of dollars to American universities,
- 15:02Speaker 1: and then we see this type of research and the
- 15:05Speaker 1: access at these research and suits like the University of Michigan,
- 15:08Speaker 1: et cetera, why isn't there a massive red flag on
- 15:11Speaker 1: every dollar now coming in from China? After seeing yet
- 15:14Speaker 1: again the Chinese are enemy and they cannot be trusted.
- 15:18Speaker 2: There's no doubt there should be. And listen, when I
- 15:20Speaker 2: was first elected to the Senate thirteen years ago. I
- 15:24Speaker 2: was saying then that China is the greatest threat we
- 15:27Speaker 2: have for the next one hundred years. I got to
- 15:30Speaker 2: tell you, Ben, at the time that was a very
- 15:32Speaker 2: lonely view in the United States Senate. Every Democrat disagreed
- 15:36Speaker 2: with me, and most of the Republicans did too. They
- 15:40Speaker 2: all looked to China and they saw nothing but dollar
- 15:43Speaker 2: signs as far as the eye could see. Now COVID
- 15:47Speaker 2: changed that for a lot of people. They realized the mendacity,
- 15:50Speaker 2: the duplicity, the damage China causes. China engages in widespread
- 15:57Speaker 2: murder of its citizens, torture of its citizens. It had
- 16:00Speaker 2: over a million wigures in concentration camps, modern day human slavery,
- 16:05Speaker 2: organ harvesting. But they also engage in massive propaganda, massive
- 16:10Speaker 2: espionage against the United States, massive theft of intellectual property.
- 16:16Speaker 2: They are engaged in a global battle for world domination.
- 16:21Speaker 2: They're objective, which they've told us. They're very explicit. Their
- 16:25Speaker 2: objective is to be the dominant world power and to
- 16:28Speaker 2: displace America, and we need to combat them on the
- 16:31Speaker 2: global stage. China is engaged in Africa, in Latin America,
- 16:35Speaker 2: and the Middle East and Asia, every part of the world.
- 16:38Speaker 2: China is trying to become the dominant world power. They
- 16:41Speaker 2: are waging a thousand year war. And when it comes
- 16:47Speaker 2: to the danger of pathogens, look you look at COVID COVID.
- 16:51Speaker 2: It was clear within the first couple of months of
- 16:54Speaker 2: this pandemic that the evidence strongly suggested that the virus
- 16:59Speaker 2: escape from the Wuhan Institute of Virology in Wuhan, China.
- 17:05Speaker 2: We now know that the corporate media suppressed that story,
- 17:09Speaker 2: that Facebook suppressed that story at the explicit request of
- 17:13Speaker 2: doctor Fauci. I will tell you this podcast Verdict with
- 17:16Speaker 2: Ted Cruz in March and in April of twenty twenty,
- 17:26Speaker 2: when COVID was first starting, we laid out the evidence
- 17:29Speaker 2: that this came from China, from the Wuhan Institute of
- 17:32Speaker 2: Virology before you could get it practically anywhere else. China
- 17:38Speaker 2: bears enormous responsibility for what happened with COVID. I think
- 17:43Speaker 2: the evidence is overwhelming that COVID escaped from a Chinese
- 17:47Speaker 2: government lab. I think the evidence is significant that COVID
- 17:52Speaker 2: was actually invented in a Chinese government lab, that they
- 17:55Speaker 2: took natural viruses and they altered them using gaina function research.
- 18:00Speaker 2: And that's not as compelling as the fact that it
- 18:03Speaker 2: escaped from a government lab. But I think there's a
- 18:04Speaker 2: lot of evidence of that. By the way, there are
- 18:07Speaker 2: multiple federal agencies that are now explicitly concluded that COVID
- 18:11Speaker 2: likely escaped from a Chinese government lab. When COVID escaped,
- 18:15Speaker 2: the Chinese government covered it up. They suppressed the evidence,
- 18:18Speaker 2: they destroyed the samples, They did everything they could to
- 18:21Speaker 2: prevent others from understanding the source of this virus and
- 18:26Speaker 2: also to frustrate efforts to stop the spread of this pandemic. Now,
- 18:30Speaker 2: put that in the context of this story, a dangerous
- 18:33Speaker 2: agro terrorism fungus that could do massive damage to crops,
- 18:39Speaker 2: to livestock, to human beings in the United States being
- 18:43Speaker 2: smuggled in by not one but two Chinese nationals being
- 18:48Speaker 2: paid by the Chinese Communist Party. Look, it is not
- 18:52Speaker 2: difficult to imagine a pathogen like that being released in
- 18:56Speaker 2: the United States and doing enormous damage. And that's the
- 19:00Speaker 2: sort of threat our government we need to be vigilant
- 19:03Speaker 2: against when it comes to communist China.
- 19:05Speaker 1: Well, and it goes back to again some of this
- 19:08Speaker 1: evidence that Apparently they've been discussing the plan to smuggle
- 19:11Speaker 1: these biological materials since at least twenty twenty two. The
- 19:16Speaker 1: electronic devices contained documents expressing the Chinese Communist Party the CZP,
- 19:22Speaker 1: and detailing research funded by the Chinese government. So the
- 19:26Speaker 1: story just keeps repeating itself. It is over and over
- 19:29Speaker 1: again when we see these things happen. It's directly tied
- 19:32Speaker 1: tied to the Chinese Communist Party, the Chinese Communist government,
- 19:37Speaker 1: and we should not be surprised as is happening. Will
- 19:41Speaker 1: there be any reaction or anything that Congress can do
- 19:44Speaker 1: on this very quickly?
- 19:46Speaker 2: Well, listen, this has been an area I've been legislating
- 19:48Speaker 2: for a long time. So, for example, one of the
- 19:50Speaker 2: very first bills I passed into law dealt with Confucius institutes.
- 19:54Speaker 2: Confucius institutes were formed on US universities all across the country,
- 19:58Speaker 2: hundreds of them, and they were funded by the Chinese
- 20:01Speaker 2: Communist Party. They conducted espionage and propaganda. I introduced legislation
- 20:07Speaker 2: to cut off federal funding the universities that have Confucius institutes,
- 20:11Speaker 2: passed it into law, and as a result, we've shut
- 20:13Speaker 2: down most of the Confucians institutes across the country. So
- 20:17Speaker 2: we can fight this, but we need to be vigilant
- 20:19Speaker 2: and we need to.
- 20:20Speaker 1: Fight as before. If you want to hear the rest
- 20:22Speaker 1: of this conversation on this topic, you can go back
- 20:25Speaker 1: and dow the podcast from earlier this week to hear
- 20:28Speaker 1: the entire thing. I want to get back to the
- 20:31Speaker 1: big story number three of the week you may have missed.
- 20:34Speaker 1: I want to also get to this other big issue,
- 20:36Speaker 1: and that is out in Colorado and the terror attack there.
- 20:39Speaker 1: We've got a significant update on this individual and also
- 20:44Speaker 1: real concerns and honesty now coming from the administration about
- 20:50Speaker 1: the real threat of other terrorists that may be in
- 20:53Speaker 1: this country that were led into this country by the
- 20:55Speaker 1: Biden and Harris administration.
- 20:57Speaker 2: Well, it turns out that four years of open borders
- 21:00Speaker 2: over twelve million people to come into this country illegally.
- 21:04Speaker 2: That was a really bad policy and even worse, Look,
- 21:09Speaker 2: there were ten million people who were apprehended by the
- 21:12Speaker 2: Biden administration. They let them go. That is problematic on
- 21:16Speaker 2: many many fronts, But the most disturbing number is two million.
- 21:20Speaker 2: They're roughly two million god aways. Those are people that
- 21:23Speaker 2: crossed the border. We know cross the border, but yet
- 21:26Speaker 2: they escaped detection. And those god aways are much much
- 21:31Speaker 2: more likely to be criminals. They're much more likely to
- 21:34Speaker 2: be murders, rapists, child molesters, terrorists, gang members. And if
- 21:41Speaker 2: you look at this, this radical who attacked and firebombed
- 21:48Speaker 2: the peaceful Jewish protesters in Boulder, Colorado, this was a
- 21:53Speaker 2: guy who never should have been in this country to
- 21:56Speaker 2: begin with. He came in on a tourist visa, over stated,
- 22:01Speaker 2: and this was a radical Islamist. And I want to
- 22:04Speaker 2: read to you a tweet from Bill Malusion. Now, regular
- 22:08Speaker 2: listeners of this podcast know Bill Malusian is the best
- 22:12Speaker 2: reporter in America. He reports for Fox News and he's
- 22:15Speaker 2: been detailing what's going on at the border. Here's what
- 22:18Speaker 2: Bill Malusion tweeted, breaking new details on Colorado terror attack
- 22:22Speaker 2: suspect as Feds charged him with federal hate crime. According
- 22:27Speaker 2: to federal court filings obtained by Fox News, Egyptian illegal
- 22:31Speaker 2: alien Mohammed Solomon admitted in an interview that he wanted
- 22:36Speaker 2: to kill all quote Zionist people, and he had been
- 22:40Speaker 2: planning the attack for a year, and that he would
- 22:43Speaker 2: conduct the attack again if he could. He allegedly told
- 22:47Speaker 2: investigators that he waited to carry out the attack until
- 22:51Speaker 2: his daughter graduated high school, and that he specifically targeted
- 22:57Speaker 2: the quote Zionist group in Boulder after learning about them
- 23:01Speaker 2: from an online search. It was premeditated, as he allegedly
- 23:05Speaker 2: admitted he knew they would gather on Sunday at one pm,
- 23:09Speaker 2: he arrived and waited for them. Additionally, investigators found a
- 23:15Speaker 2: black container with fourteen more molotov cocktails near the spot
- 23:21Speaker 2: he was arrested in. Inside his vehicle, investigators found paperwork
- 23:26Speaker 2: with the words Israel, Palestine, and USAID. This man was
- 23:31Speaker 2: admitted into the country via a tourist visa during the
- 23:36Speaker 2: Biden administration. He overstayed, filed an asylum request, and was
- 23:42Speaker 2: granted work authorization by the Biden administration, which expired at
- 23:47Speaker 2: the end of March of this year. So I understand
- 23:50Speaker 2: this guy came into this country, he overstated his visa,
- 23:54Speaker 2: and yet the Biden administration said, hey, look a radical
- 23:57Speaker 2: Islamic terrorist we want you to say. It was not
- 24:01Speaker 2: hard to figure out from his social media who this
- 24:03Speaker 2: guy was. But the Biden administration, they were not focused
- 24:07Speaker 2: on defending this nation. They were not focused on stopping
- 24:11Speaker 2: terrorists from coming into this country. Instead, they made a
- 24:15Speaker 2: political decision. I get asked all the time, Ben, why
- 24:18Speaker 2: would Democrats open up the borders? It clearly hurt them
- 24:21Speaker 2: in the flat last election. Why would they do this?
- 24:24Speaker 2: And I believe it was entirely about power. They viewed
- 24:27Speaker 2: twelve million illegal immigrants, they said, listen, every one of
- 24:31Speaker 2: these we think are going to vote for Democrats. We
- 24:34Speaker 2: want them in here. Some portion of them will vote illegally.
- 24:38Speaker 2: The rest of them, they believed, if they stayed in power,
- 24:40Speaker 2: they'd grant amnesty and make them all voters. And if
- 24:44Speaker 2: they have to bring in Muslim Brotherhood terrorists who were
- 24:48Speaker 2: murdering people, sadly, the Democrats were willing to do that.
- 24:53Speaker 1: This is the part that I really think we do
- 24:55Speaker 1: need to make it clear, not just now but in
- 24:59Speaker 1: the future. The Democratic Party, and you alluded to this
- 25:03Speaker 1: in your comments there. Their plan they knew was going
- 25:08Speaker 1: to have disastrous consequences from a national security standpoint. They
- 25:13Speaker 1: were willing to play Russian Roulette with that open border.
- 25:16Speaker 1: And they were warned and they saw the people that
- 25:19Speaker 1: were on the terrorists watch list, Senator, and they didn't
- 25:22Speaker 1: care because it was their overall plan to flood the
- 25:25Speaker 1: country with the legal immigrants and fundamentally changes country. They
- 25:29Speaker 1: knew this plan would allow for people that are terrorists,
- 25:33Speaker 1: some of them on the terrorists watch lists at the time,
- 25:36Speaker 1: to get into this country, and they still continued to
- 25:40Speaker 1: have the open border policy because they basically said, Hey,
- 25:44Speaker 1: it's part of our bigger plan, and there's going to
- 25:47Speaker 1: be collateral damage from this, so be it.
- 25:50Speaker 2: And listen when I say this, this sounds harsh, and
- 25:55Speaker 2: you sort of think of a listener who's not terribly
- 25:58Speaker 2: political and they're like, wait, the Democrats couldn't really want
- 26:03Speaker 2: more terrorists in this country. But at the end of
- 26:05Speaker 2: the day, that was the inevitable consequence of the policies
- 26:10Speaker 2: they put in place. When you allow twelve million people
- 26:13Speaker 2: to cross the border illegally, and by the way, the
- 26:16Speaker 2: Biden Border control the border patrol, they instructed their agents
- 26:23Speaker 2: be on the lookout for hesbela Hamas Palestinian Islamic Jehad
- 26:29Speaker 2: terrorists coming across this border. Look, we have radical Zealots
- 26:34Speaker 2: who have declared Jahad and America who have demanded of
- 26:38Speaker 2: their terrorists murder as many Americans as you can and
- 26:42Speaker 2: murder as many Jews and Israelis as you can. And
- 26:46Speaker 2: in the face of those very real and clear national
- 26:50Speaker 2: security threats, the fact that the Biden administration and the Democrats,
- 26:54Speaker 2: it wasn't just Joe Biden, it wasn't just Kamala Harris,
- 26:57Speaker 2: it was every single Democrat in the Senate, every single
- 27:00Speaker 2: Democrat in the House. Because they voted in favor of
- 27:02Speaker 2: open borders over and over and over again, they knew
- 27:07Speaker 2: that some of the people coming were just like this
- 27:10Speaker 2: radical and listen, I've reintroduced this week legislation to designate
- 27:16Speaker 2: the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization. The Muslim Brotherhood.
- 27:21Speaker 1: This is something you've been sounding the alarm on for
- 27:25Speaker 1: quite some time. I want to be very clear about that.
- 27:28Speaker 2: So I've been fighting for this legislation for more than
- 27:31Speaker 2: a decade. The Muslim Brotherhood is a terrorist organization. It
- 27:36Speaker 2: is in countries throughout the Middle East. It is in Egypt,
- 27:40Speaker 2: it is in cutter it is all across the Middle East.
- 27:46Speaker 2: And the Muslim Brotherhood openly aggressively they support hamas, they
- 27:51Speaker 2: support Hesbela. They are a terrorist organization and by the way,
- 27:56Speaker 2: to be clear, in Egypt they're an actual place political party. Look,
- 28:01Speaker 2: we had Mohammed Morsei, who was the leader of Egypt,
- 28:05Speaker 2: who was a Muslim Brotherhood radical. Now now thankfully Mohammed
- 28:10Speaker 2: Morsey was defeated, and he was defeated by Alcesi, who
- 28:16Speaker 2: is fighting against the Muslim Brotherhood. Look, look, if you
- 28:19Speaker 2: look at the Arabs who are dealing with this, the
- 28:22Speaker 2: Muslim Brotherhood and the Jihadis, they believe in using violence,
- 28:28Speaker 2: using murder to force people to embrace their radical Islamus view.
- 28:34Speaker 2: And yet these are these are the radicals that are
- 28:39Speaker 2: fighting that that are murdering Israelis, and that are murdering Americans,
- 28:44Speaker 2: and and and this is exactly the radicals that this
- 28:48Speaker 2: lunatic in Boulder, Colorado was embracing, and that Joe Biden,
- 28:53Speaker 2: the Democrats were letting end of this country.
- 28:55Speaker 1: Final question on the on the the designate of Muslim
- 28:59Speaker 1: Brotherhood is a terrorist organization. Is this finally going to
- 29:03Speaker 1: be the moment where you think there's a decent chance
- 29:05Speaker 1: that this can become reality or there's still going to
- 29:08Speaker 1: be Democrats at all costs that say we are going
- 29:10Speaker 1: to defend this.
- 29:12Speaker 2: So I hope so. So right now today the Muslim
- 29:16Speaker 2: Brotherhood is designated as a terrorist organization in Saudi Arabia,
- 29:20Speaker 2: They're designated in the United Arab Emirates, They're designated in Egypt,
- 29:26Speaker 2: in Syria and Bahrain. But the United States has yet
- 29:30Speaker 2: to designate the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization. When
- 29:34Speaker 2: you have a group that actively encourages the waging of jahad,
- 29:40Speaker 2: the murdering of innocence, they are a terrorist organization. And
- 29:45Speaker 2: so I pressed, I pressed the entire first Trump term
- 29:50Speaker 2: for the Muslim Brotherhood to be designated. We did not succeed.
- 29:54Speaker 2: I think we will succeed this administration. I think President
- 29:57Speaker 2: Trump is going to do this and I'm going to
- 29:59Speaker 2: be keep designate the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization
- 30:04Speaker 2: because that is who they are, and we saw the
- 30:08Speaker 2: horrific and potentially deadly consequences this week in Boulder, Colorado.
