- 2:08Speaker 5: and only Steve Harvey, Oh yeah, man, got a radio show.
- 2:13Speaker 5: Do you understand that I'm telling you. God been big
- 2:16Speaker 5: in my life. I'm not gonna kid you. I'm telling you,
- 2:19Speaker 5: and He'll do the same thing for you. God God
- 2:23Speaker 5: is a gentleman, you know. I want to I want
- 2:25Speaker 5: to point that out to you. God is an absolute gentleman.
- 2:30Speaker 5: He will not come in unless he's invited. He don't
- 2:35Speaker 5: just barge into your life. He gives us the power
- 2:39Speaker 5: of choice. You know, if you say you got it,
- 2:43Speaker 5: I don't need you, he lets you have it. If
- 2:46Speaker 5: you say I need you, come see about me.
- 2:49Speaker 3: He right there. It's just a real simple thing.
- 2:52Speaker 6: Man.
- 2:53Speaker 5: So always say to people this if you've gotten yourself
- 2:57Speaker 5: into something.
- 3:00Speaker 3: Please know I have. I I was stuck.
- 3:05Speaker 5: I thought a couple of times, well might not make
- 3:10Speaker 5: it past this one. But then if I don't make
- 3:13Speaker 5: it past it, what's gonna happen? And then I held
- 3:17Speaker 5: on to this little thing that my mother kept talking
- 3:19Speaker 5: to me about. She said, sometimes some when you ain't
- 3:23Speaker 5: got nothing else in you, just hope, she said, just
- 3:27Speaker 5: hope it'll be all right, you know. And what I've
- 3:30Speaker 5: learned in my life is that hope is the beginning
- 3:33Speaker 5: of faith. Hope is just is their possibility out there
- 3:39Speaker 5: for me. I show hope, something happened. See hope. Hope
- 3:46Speaker 5: is okay, man, Because like I say, for me, the
- 3:50Speaker 5: way I've lived my life, hope was the beginning of faith.
- 3:54Speaker 5: It was just the idea. It's just the thought that
- 3:57Speaker 5: something could change for me, that something could be a
- 4:00Speaker 5: little bit different from me, that maybe, man, just maybe
- 4:05Speaker 5: for some reason, I could be saved, I could be rescued.
- 4:10Speaker 5: Things could turn around, it could hit any other direction.
- 4:14Speaker 5: Maybe I could quit messing up. Maybe somebody will forgive me,
- 4:18Speaker 5: maybe somebody will just say all right. I don't know,
- 4:21Speaker 5: but I can't count the times I've been in that position.
- 4:25Speaker 5: But then once I hope a little bit, and then
- 4:27Speaker 5: I remember also my mother, because she was a Sunday
- 4:30Speaker 5: school teacher. She taught me the most valuable lesson I've
- 4:34Speaker 5: ever learned in my life. Nothing has been greater in
- 4:37Speaker 5: my life than my faith. She taught me to pray.
- 4:40Speaker 5: Mama used to say, when it get real, dog for
- 4:42Speaker 5: your son, Prayer change is things, she say, When you
- 4:46Speaker 5: seem like you lost and you can't find your way,
- 4:49Speaker 5: stop and pray, she said, because prayer change is things.
- 4:55Speaker 3: You know.
- 4:55Speaker 5: When you get a point in your life when you've
- 4:57Speaker 5: done all you can do and you can't do no more,
- 4:59Speaker 5: and you just don't know what to do next, she says, stop, son,
- 5:03Speaker 5: pray and combine that prayer with that hope that you got,
- 5:09Speaker 5: she said, because that hope is to beginning of faith,
- 5:12Speaker 5: she said. If you pray just hoping, she saying, to
- 5:16Speaker 5: God come through for you, that'll give you confidence that
- 5:19Speaker 5: he can do it again. And then after a while
- 5:21Speaker 5: you quit hoping, she's saying, you start believing. She saying,
- 5:25Speaker 5: that's when you're on to something. If you can turn
- 5:28Speaker 5: that hope into belief, that hope into faith, the ability
- 5:34Speaker 5: to believe in something that you can't see. But the
- 5:37Speaker 5: key though the faith is you're believing in something that
- 5:40Speaker 5: you can't see. See hoping a little bit different from
- 5:44Speaker 5: me Now, I'm pretty sure, Like I say oftentimes to
- 5:47Speaker 5: tell a lot of people who can explain this thing
- 5:49Speaker 5: a lot better than I can to you, but just
- 5:52Speaker 5: from my side of it, being as real as I
- 5:54Speaker 5: can be rich you See, hope helps. Man, If you
- 5:58Speaker 5: ain't strong enough to have faith, have hope, and then
- 6:01Speaker 5: if you pray with some hope and God answers your prayer,
- 6:05Speaker 5: then that hope gains a little confidence and after a
- 6:08Speaker 5: while that confidence becomes faith. Now the ain't just hoping,
- 6:14Speaker 5: but I'm believing. I'm believing in something that I cannot see.
- 6:19Speaker 5: Faith has been the key to my entire existence, even
- 6:26Speaker 5: when I didn't have any It was faith, as I
- 6:30Speaker 5: look back on it, that has gotten me here, and
- 6:34Speaker 5: not just faith, but my faith. See, you will only
- 6:38Speaker 5: get to where you're going in your life based on
- 6:42Speaker 5: your faith. See A lot of people get the word
- 6:46Speaker 5: faith confused, like what's your faith? And then they start
- 6:49Speaker 5: going down this whole list of all these different religions
- 6:52Speaker 5: out here, But really an essence, man, When I talk
- 6:55Speaker 5: to people about faith, I'm talking to you about your
- 7:00Speaker 5: your belief. How much do you believe in the unseen?
- 7:05Speaker 5: How much do you believe in the things you can't see?
- 7:09Speaker 5: How much do you believe in the impossible? How much
- 7:13Speaker 5: do you believe see? Because faith is the belief in
- 7:19Speaker 5: things that you cannot see. Faith is the core of
- 7:25Speaker 5: all that is happening to me today. It is the
- 7:28Speaker 5: faith that I have in my relationship with God that
- 7:32Speaker 5: enables me to just oftentimes, if I stay on the
- 7:37Speaker 5: right course and believe a certain way and act a
- 7:41Speaker 5: certain way, his blessings just poor. They just come. And
- 7:48Speaker 5: it comes in a lot of little ways too. I've
- 7:50Speaker 5: started to notice, see, it ain't just a lot of
- 7:53Speaker 5: people think blessings is money. Nah, man, that ain't it.
- 7:56Speaker 5: It's coverage. It's every time my plane and safe. It's
- 8:02Speaker 5: every time they predict bad weather and I get up
- 8:05Speaker 5: in the sky and it don't be no bad weather.
- 8:08Speaker 5: You know, this is this is favor. These are blessings
- 8:12Speaker 5: that get poured out to me. Somebody call me and
- 8:15Speaker 5: offer me something, not money, but an opportunity, you know.
- 8:20Speaker 5: Somebody say, hey, man, I don't know, but I sent
- 8:24Speaker 5: this to you.
- 8:24Speaker 3: I thought you might be interested in it.
- 8:26Speaker 5: Somebody will send me a scripture, or somebody will send
- 8:29Speaker 5: me something that's favor, and it always comes at a
- 8:33Speaker 5: time when I need it the most. That's favor, that's
- 8:37Speaker 5: pouring out blessings. Now I'm also the recipient of a
- 8:42Speaker 5: lot of other blessings too. You know, I've been blessed
- 8:46Speaker 5: with health. That's amazing blessing.
- 8:48Speaker 3: Man.
- 8:48Speaker 5: I've been blessed with a spirit of not quitting. I've
- 8:53Speaker 5: been blessed with the ability to shoulder huge amounts of responsibility.
- 9:00Speaker 5: Blessings come a lot of ways. But once you tie
- 9:04Speaker 5: in to God, Once you tie in and you start
- 9:08Speaker 5: doing the best you can do, and you start asking
- 9:11Speaker 5: for him to make you a better person, to help
- 9:14Speaker 5: shape and mold you into the kind of man or
- 9:18Speaker 5: person that he wants you to be. You be amazed
- 9:21Speaker 5: what God can do with you. Man, if you just
- 9:23Speaker 5: invite me in and allow him to be a part
- 9:26Speaker 5: of your life. I mean, what you got to lose
- 9:28Speaker 5: out there? Come on, if you're sitting in the cell
- 9:31Speaker 5: this morning, why would you not change. You have a
- 9:35Speaker 5: chance to turn your life around with a relationship with God.
- 9:38Speaker 5: What you're waiting on. Are you gonna just keep doing
- 9:40Speaker 5: it like that?
- 9:41Speaker 3: Huh? Really? Come on, man, why would you do that
- 9:46Speaker 3: to yourself?
- 9:47Speaker 5: Why would you not allow God to be a part
- 9:49Speaker 5: of your life so you can get the way He
- 9:51Speaker 5: wants you to be. God got some big plans for you.
- 9:54Speaker 5: If he didn't, you wouldn't keep waking up.
- 9:56Speaker 7: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:03Speaker 3: Ladies and gentlemen, I have news for you.
- 10:06Speaker 5: Start your day with gratitude, which will affect your attitude,
- 10:13Speaker 5: which is in direct correlation with your altitude. I don't
- 10:16Speaker 5: know how else to say it, but I'm not gonna
- 10:20Speaker 5: keep telling you, but I am gonna strongly suggest it
- 10:22Speaker 5: to you.
- 10:23Speaker 3: Try.
- 10:23Speaker 5: Gratitude, everybody, is one of the most overlooked principles of
- 10:27Speaker 5: success there is. But the more you are thankful for,
- 10:30Speaker 5: the more He will give you to be thankful for.
- 10:33Speaker 3: Let the church say Amen, Amen, Amen man.
- 10:37Speaker 5: The stars of this show are Shirley Strawberry Callar Forrail,

- 11:03Speaker 8: I just want to know if you could do it,
- 11:04Speaker 8: because you know you an record as entry level Christian,
- 11:07Speaker 8: you wrecked for it. Could you see yourself as one
- 11:11Speaker 8: of the twelve Disciples? Would you be a good disciple?
- 11:13Speaker 3: Could you do? Oh?
- 11:15Speaker 5: Yeah, I've been a great disciples because I'm loyal, yes,
- 11:18Speaker 5: and I'm a man's man. Yeah, I'd have been a
- 11:21Speaker 5: great disciple. I would not have been judas. They couldn't
- 11:24Speaker 5: have faked me. I'd have went down. See I rolled,
- 11:28Speaker 5: I ride or died with black people. I know I'd
- 11:30Speaker 5: have rolled or died with Jesus.
- 11:35Speaker 7: Amen to that.
- 11:36Speaker 3: I'm loyal with all your money.
- 11:39Speaker 5: Yeah, it ain't nowhere in the world. Man, I'd have
- 11:42Speaker 5: rolled with us. All the wheels look like they don't
- 11:45Speaker 5: come off. I'm still with us the truth.
- 11:49Speaker 3: And let me tell you.
- 11:50Speaker 5: Something, Dog, I hang with black people that don't hang
- 11:53Speaker 5: with me. Yeah, come on, I know, good and well.
- 11:57Speaker 5: I'd have been a great disciple. Jesus run around healing,
- 12:02Speaker 5: helping people, teaching stuff. I'd have rolled with him, man, yeah,
- 12:06Speaker 5: probably probably man.
- 12:08Speaker 3: Like I'm gonna be honest with y'all. Just don't sound wrong.
- 12:10Speaker 5: But if i'd have been one of these disciples, man,
- 12:13Speaker 5: you know, other than I know, you could not.
- 12:16Speaker 3: Have changed the story. I know that for a fact.
- 12:18Speaker 5: I had to could because the destiny was set up.
- 12:21Speaker 5: It was designed that way. He came to save us
- 12:24Speaker 5: from our scenes, so I knew I couldn't changed it.
- 12:27Speaker 5: But i'd have hurt Judas though, though. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 12:34Speaker 5: I'm just gonna gonna say i'd hurt Judas. I'll put
- 12:37Speaker 5: something on Judas. Hey, holler at you for a minute.
- 12:40Speaker 3: Come in at the last supper, up at the last supper.
- 12:43Speaker 3: Last it would have been his last summer.
- 12:47Speaker 5: Put him to the side of Hey, man, let me
- 12:49Speaker 5: ask you from I heard what you already to talk
- 12:52Speaker 5: to Roman.
- 12:56Speaker 7: You give them thirty pieces of silver.
- 12:58Speaker 3: No, big Wigg said he saw you over there. Trouble
- 13:02Speaker 3: couldn't go big Wig. Yeah, because I had him back

- 14:45Speaker 10: I'm trying to speak to sister Lauren, please begins my
- 14:49Speaker 10: sister Lauren. This is Brother Davids from the church. I
- 14:51Speaker 10: don't know if you know me. You might know me
- 14:53Speaker 10: when you see me, but I don't know if you
- 14:54Speaker 10: just know me because we don't really interact that much
- 14:57Speaker 10: at the church. But I wanted to give you a call.
- 14:59Speaker 10: We got a bit of a problem going on. Okay, okay,
- 15:02Speaker 10: you got you get Do you have a minute to talk?
- 15:04Speaker 12: All right?
- 15:06Speaker 3: Now?
- 15:07Speaker 10: How long have you been doing uh the sign you
- 15:10Speaker 10: in the you know you in the ministry when you
- 15:12Speaker 10: do the sign language for the church, and you know
- 15:15Speaker 10: I notice you up there at least two Sundays out
- 15:19Speaker 10: of a out of the month. You've been doing it
- 15:21Speaker 10: quite a while, am I right?
- 15:23Speaker 12: So yes, I've been doing it for over ten years.
- 15:25Speaker 12: But I'm a little confused as to why you're calling
- 15:30Speaker 12: about this time. I'm just a little to confused. I
- 15:32Speaker 12: don't know who you are. You say that if I
- 15:34Speaker 12: see your face, I may know you. But what does
- 15:37Speaker 12: this have to do with anything? Is how long I
- 15:39Speaker 12: have been doing sigh language? I know, okay, I've been
- 15:43Speaker 12: doing it for years? So how may I help you
- 15:45Speaker 12: with this? Do you want?
- 15:46Speaker 3: Okay?
- 15:46Speaker 10: So no, no, I'm not trying to learn any sign language.
- 15:50Speaker 10: Do you do you know miss everybody call him Miss Murder.
- 15:53Speaker 10: Do you know Miss Murdle?
- 15:54Speaker 12: Oh yeah, I sure do.
- 15:56Speaker 3: M okay, so Miss Murder.
- 15:58Speaker 10: That's that's that's that's that's one of my aunties, right there,
- 16:02Speaker 10: mss murderers.
- 16:03Speaker 12: Okay, And she gave you my number to call me.
- 16:07Speaker 12: What what do you need for me?
- 16:09Speaker 7: Did she get me?
- 16:09Speaker 10: No, That's what I'm getting at. So, so you know,
- 16:12Speaker 10: you know my you know, my honest is deaf. You
- 16:14Speaker 10: know she's hearing it per you know that, right?
- 16:16Speaker 13: Okay?
- 16:16Speaker 10: Yes, So, so here's a problem. I ain't murderers telling
- 16:22Speaker 10: us that you're not doing the sign language right, doing
- 16:26Speaker 10: the service and like you're missing some things in the
- 16:29Speaker 10: scripture or something.
- 16:31Speaker 12: You know that's incorrect. I've been doing this for a
- 16:35Speaker 12: very long time and I know what I'm doing. So
- 16:37Speaker 12: how you so she told you for me to tell
- 16:40Speaker 12: me that I'm not doing this oline correctly, let me say.
- 16:44Speaker 3: Let me say this to you.
- 16:45Speaker 10: I don't want us to get off on the wrong
- 16:47Speaker 10: for Let me just say this to you. Once my
- 16:48Speaker 10: once my murder told us what was going on.
- 16:51Speaker 3: You know.
- 16:52Speaker 10: We then went to one of the deacons and asked him,
- 16:55Speaker 10: you know, is that way we can uh have a meeting,
- 16:58Speaker 10: you know, with with with sister Lawrence, were gonna try
- 17:00Speaker 10: to get this taken care of and talk about it.
- 17:02Speaker 10: He said, well, won't you just won't you just call
- 17:05Speaker 10: and y'all can just work it out.
- 17:06Speaker 3: And that's how.
- 17:07Speaker 10: I'm calling you now. I hope you I don't know
- 17:10Speaker 10: if you're at work or whatever. I apologize, but I'm
- 17:12Speaker 10: just trying to get to the bottom up. Now, let
- 17:14Speaker 10: me go say this. If my ain't murders say that
- 17:17Speaker 10: you ain't signing right, then MIAINTI ain't lying. That means
- 17:22Speaker 10: your excuse me, that means you ain't signing right.
- 17:26Speaker 12: Really, so the pastor couldn't come to me, but he
- 17:29Speaker 12: but you figured you would just call me and tell
- 17:32Speaker 12: me that your auntie says that I'm doing incorrectly. That
- 17:35Speaker 12: doesn't make sense to me. How does she tell you that?
- 17:37Speaker 12: Did she sign it to you?
- 17:39Speaker 10: She signed languages to her daughter. Listen, you ain't got
- 17:42Speaker 10: to worry about who she's signing too. What you need
- 17:45Speaker 10: to worry about is getting your getting your stuff together
- 17:49Speaker 10: all right and learning how to do this the correct
- 17:51Speaker 10: way so that my ain'te can get. You know, MIAINTI
- 17:54Speaker 10: needs to be getting the word like everybody else getting
- 17:56Speaker 10: the word, but she not getting it because you the
- 17:58Speaker 10: words getting lost.
- 17:59Speaker 3: In your hands.
- 18:00Speaker 12: All I'm hearing is your voice is getting very loud
- 18:03Speaker 12: and you need to match my tone. Young man. Okay,
- 18:06Speaker 12: let's start with that.
- 18:07Speaker 3: Which I mean.
- 18:11Speaker 12: That match my tone because you're getting very loud and
- 18:15Speaker 12: I can't hear through all of that.
- 18:17Speaker 7: All right, Okay, okay, I situation.
- 18:22Speaker 13: You called my phone?
- 18:23Speaker 12: Correct, you have a problem that you're discusting with me,
- 18:26Speaker 12: but you're getting more angry than anything else. How am
- 18:28Speaker 12: I going to resolve this problem? I am trying to
- 18:31Speaker 12: be as course, the way.
- 18:32Speaker 10: You resolved this problem is back to science school so
- 18:35Speaker 10: you can learn what you need to so my any
- 18:37Speaker 10: can get the word. Any can't get the gospel because
- 18:41Speaker 10: you messing it up.
- 18:42Speaker 12: God anointed me to do style language at that church,
- 18:46Speaker 12: and I've been doing it for a long time and I.
- 18:48Speaker 14: Will continue to do so.
- 18:50Speaker 12: Don't call my phone telling me that I'm not doing
- 18:53Speaker 12: something right? You know?
- 18:54Speaker 10: But do God know that you're not doing it right?

- 22:19Speaker 11: Kenya in Saint Louis says, my husband and I are
- 22:22Speaker 11: both teachers and he used to date one of the
- 22:25Speaker 11: teachers at our school. He said they only had one
- 22:28Speaker 11: date and they never had sex. But the other day
- 22:31Speaker 11: she made a comment about how many tattoos he has
- 22:34Speaker 11: on his body. He told me that everyone knows he's
- 22:37Speaker 11: tatted up. Should I trust him or not?
- 22:41Speaker 3: Well? Look, ain't they married? Yeah?
- 22:44Speaker 7: Yeah, Kenya and her husband?
- 22:46Speaker 5: Yeah, ma'am, why you why are you going.
- 22:49Speaker 3: Down that path? You married to man?
- 22:52Speaker 5: You know he dated, He did lie about it, and
- 22:56Speaker 5: now she talking about how many tats he got. Everybody
- 22:58Speaker 5: know he tatted up. That sounded like truth to me.
- 23:02Speaker 5: Leave that alone. Why it's not important to your relationship.
- 23:07Speaker 5: They only dated once, that's what he said. Now if
- 23:10Speaker 5: it was more than once, why you need to know
- 23:12Speaker 5: that you're the marriage man. Now, what you're gonna do leaving?
- 23:16Speaker 5: You're not gonna stop though, you see, But see some
- 23:19Speaker 5: of the ladies, some of the stuff y'all need to
- 23:22Speaker 5: leave alone. The past belongs to history. He'll know everything
- 23:27Speaker 5: about you. You you told him everything that long?
- 23:31Speaker 3: Have you?
- 23:32Speaker 5: Okay, okay, leave that alone. Please don't ask me about
- 23:38Speaker 5: my past.
- 23:39Speaker 3: Please.
- 23:39Speaker 7: You're saying she should.
- 23:42Speaker 3: Please, I'm telling you right now.
- 23:44Speaker 7: Shock you've told us over the years.
- 23:51Speaker 5: That's what I could tell you. It's some stuff going
- 23:54Speaker 5: to my grade.
- 23:56Speaker 7: Know that, all right?
- 23:59Speaker 11: Moving on to San Grayson, Sandy says, I'm a forty
- 24:02Speaker 11: two year old woman and I got thrown out of
- 24:04Speaker 11: a club last weekend for getting into an altercation with
- 24:07Speaker 11: a woman over my son.
- 24:09Speaker 7: My son is twenty and he's a food runner.
- 24:11Speaker 11: At the club, he called and said a woman that
- 24:13Speaker 11: I don't associate with anymore was trying to holler at him.
- 24:17Speaker 7: Was I wrong for dumping on that cougar.
- 24:19Speaker 1: Yes, hell yeah?
- 24:21Speaker 5: Why are you at the club? Your son at it?
- 24:24Speaker 5: Don't even make no sense. Your son at a club,
- 24:28Speaker 5: women gonna hit on him? You down there fighting the
- 24:31Speaker 5: old women that shouldn't be in the club. I'm forty two,
- 24:35Speaker 5: I'm at the club my twenty old son worked at
- 24:39Speaker 5: and a woman I hit on.
- 24:41Speaker 11: It so so she wouldn't beat her.
- 24:46Speaker 3: And what is your perk on telling me for.
- 24:50Speaker 5: Why you got your little mama's boy down there working
- 24:52Speaker 5: at the club.
- 24:53Speaker 3: Anyway, he got a job.
- 24:56Speaker 7: Yeah, he's at a job. That's a good part.
- 24:58Speaker 16: My man.
- 24:58Speaker 3: I got a hollered at your free and you never knew.
- 25:00Speaker 11: It right, So she was wrong for being at the
- 25:07Speaker 11: club and for jumping on the woman.
- 25:11Speaker 7: All right, Sandy, all right.
- 25:13Speaker 11: Moving on to Cameron in New Orleans, Cameron says, I
- 25:16Speaker 11: got married right after high school and got divorced. Five
- 25:20Speaker 11: years later. We got remarried, and I'm pregnant with our
- 25:24Speaker 11: first child. I realized that I don't want to be
- 25:27Speaker 11: with him, so I have not told him that I'm pregnant.
- 25:32Speaker 11: I want to divorce him and then tell him. Is
- 25:35Speaker 11: it okay if I put my happiness first? Or should
- 25:38Speaker 11: I tell him, now whoa.
- 25:40Speaker 5: Well, if it's the man's child, yeah, I mean he
- 25:45Speaker 5: deserves to right. This is see, ladies, this is the
- 25:50Speaker 5: part that throws us off. Y'all want us to do
- 25:53Speaker 5: the honorable thing. But then when y'all don't want to
- 25:56Speaker 5: do the honorable thing, you want somebody to co say. Now,
- 26:00Speaker 5: if this man is this his child and you know
- 26:03Speaker 5: it is, but you want a divorce, you can do
- 26:06Speaker 5: voth but tell him it's your child, it's his child,
- 26:11Speaker 5: and then tell him you want a divorce. It's not
- 26:12Speaker 5: gonna change any See. Problem right now is you you
- 26:15Speaker 5: don't know what you want. You should have never.
- 26:17Speaker 7: Remarried, never remarried him.
- 26:19Speaker 3: That's the first thing. I don't know what made you
- 26:21Speaker 3: think that was a good idea.
- 26:24Speaker 5: You add him, now you pregnant, So yeah, you should
- 26:28Speaker 5: tell him you're pregnant, and then he wants to divorce.
- 26:30Speaker 3: Go through it, the divorce. It's not gonna change nothing.
- 26:35Speaker 3: Got some good news and some bad news. Which one
- 26:37Speaker 3: you want?
- 26:39Speaker 5: You now you that got pregnant and now you want out.
- 26:44Speaker 5: But you think if you tell him that that's gonna
- 26:46Speaker 5: make him want to stay. I promise you it ain't.
- 26:51Speaker 1: Most moms grow up.
- 26:53Speaker 7: I'm trying to be pregnant to a man that's the
- 26:55Speaker 7: oldest chick.
- 26:57Speaker 5: So now she done got pregnant and she don't want
- 27:01Speaker 5: to keep the man. So she thinks if she tell
- 27:03Speaker 5: the man she's pregnant, he don't want to stay.
- 27:05Speaker 3: I promise you he won't. Gon't tell you what better
- 27:08Speaker 3: get a baby. My addreat you.
- 27:10Speaker 1: Get this chout before payment's going be all right.
- 27:13Speaker 11: Yeah, she doesn't want to be with him, but uh okay,
- 27:16Speaker 11: last one. Moving on to Norma in Toledo, Clo. Norma writes,
- 27:21Speaker 11: I'm throwing a party for my husband and half of
- 27:23Speaker 11: the guests aren't coming. His best friend said he did
- 27:27Speaker 11: something unforgivable and I should ask him about it. My
- 27:31Speaker 11: husband said, it's none of my business. What could he
- 27:35Speaker 11: have done? That's so wild?
- 27:37Speaker 5: You don't need them type of people in your house.
- 27:41Speaker 5: His friend that then told you he ain't coming because
- 27:44Speaker 5: he did something to him unforgivable.
- 27:47Speaker 3: You ought to ask him about it.
- 27:50Speaker 5: Die that right now. That that's stink boy. He trying
- 27:53Speaker 5: to start a five.
- 27:56Speaker 3: Started.
- 27:57Speaker 5: Not Norma, y'all old old body name baby normal. So
- 28:04Speaker 5: that's a dead giveaway. Now half the guests ain't coming,
- 28:08Speaker 5: So why are you throwing a party for somebody? Don't
- 28:11Speaker 5: nobody like you trying to throw a party? And half
- 28:19Speaker 5: the guests and told you they ain't something. And I
- 28:22Speaker 5: got news for you. I bet that guest list ain't
- 28:25Speaker 5: that long.
- 28:26Speaker 7: Huh.
- 28:27Speaker 11: So what she she invited ten and only five are coming.
- 28:31Speaker 3: Half of main't coming.
- 28:33Speaker 5: And this boy said, I ain't coming because he did
- 28:36Speaker 5: something to me unforgivable, asking what it was?
- 28:39Speaker 7: That's so awful.
- 28:41Speaker 1: What did he do?
- 28:42Speaker 16: Did he sleep with another man?
- 28:48Speaker 3: Is portray his truck? It's got something to do with it.
- 28:52Speaker 3: That's the something to do with it. Lady, you prayed truck.
- 28:59Speaker 5: He either, which I doubt if this is it, because
- 29:02Speaker 5: this results in okay, because if he would have slept
- 29:06Speaker 5: with his boy and his wife, indeed, that's not unforbid, unforgivable.
- 29:11Speaker 3: That's so that didn't happen.
- 29:14Speaker 1: Oh but he told.
- 29:16Speaker 3: His friend's wife that he was having an affair.
- 29:21Speaker 1: Oh oh the other friend. Yes, love dropping.
- 29:31Speaker 7: Because you did that, he said, it's none of your business,
- 29:35Speaker 7: all right.
- 29:36Speaker 5: Once she ain't your man, you ain't your word no more.
- 29:38Speaker 5: You you lose brothers.
- 29:41Speaker 3: All right?
- 29:42Speaker 7: Thank you?
- 29:43Speaker 1: Celo it's Steve Arbin, Martin shaw Man.
- 29:47Speaker 5: You only get hated on by people who are less
- 29:51Speaker 5: than you.
- 29:51Speaker 3: Nobody doing better than you hate some you.
- 29:54Speaker 5: It's always the lesser than hate always come from the bottom.
- 29:59Speaker 3: That's why they call him bottom feet.
- 30:00Speaker 5: God has positioned you as well as myself, up on
- 30:04Speaker 5: the wall. We're climbing to a destiny that's so great.
- 30:09Speaker 5: When they start throwing rocks and they pulled from the bottom,
- 30:13Speaker 5: you cannot get down off the wall. You cannot stop
- 30:17Speaker 5: your forward progress to climb down and address him because
- 30:20Speaker 5: you stopping your progress.
- 30:22Speaker 3: And they don't have power unless you give it to him.
- 30:27Speaker 3: Coming up right after.
- 30:27Speaker 9: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 30:36Speaker 11: All right, we're gonna go around the room with you
- 30:39Speaker 11: three guys. Okay, what's the biggest light you ever told?
- 30:42Speaker 11: Tommy started off.
- 30:43Speaker 3: My son, my oldest son.
- 30:45Speaker 10: When he was younger, he wanted to go to PG
- 30:49Speaker 10: thirteen movies. I always knew it was gonna be something
- 30:52Speaker 10: that he didn't need to see. He didn't know, but
- 30:54Speaker 10: I would tell him, hey, do you know what PG
- 30:58Speaker 10: thirteen means? He's like, no, say that means only thirteen
- 31:02Speaker 10: people can go in the movie. So I when we
- 31:06Speaker 10: would get there, I say, it's already twelve people in there.
- 31:10Speaker 10: We can't go in there. It's too late. And he
- 31:12Speaker 10: would be like, wow, we don't never get here in time.
- 31:15Speaker 3: Enough to see any PG. Thirteen. We're gonna have to
- 31:19Speaker 3: go see a G movie. We're gonna go see a GM.
- 31:21Speaker 10: We'd be all up in line, king we not going
- 31:23Speaker 10: and see PG.
- 31:25Speaker 3: Your mama ain't gonna be mad a man. PG thirteen.
- 31:28Speaker 1: All right, what's the biggest lie you ever? I need
- 31:31Speaker 1: to make sure that my mama ain't listening.
- 31:34Speaker 7: Oh man.
- 31:38Speaker 8: I was at football sixteen years old, and my mama

- 31:55Speaker 8: the whole left side on a school bus.
- 32:00Speaker 1: My boy said, man, I.
- 32:00Speaker 3: Can't let you go back home with the truth.
- 32:02Speaker 8: Uh huh, you got to say that bus backed into youth. Okay, boy,
- 32:07Speaker 8: he said, you can't walk. He did, Mama, bread, he
- 32:09Speaker 8: got this tag still on it. It ain't no license plate. Man,

- 32:19Speaker 8: know a school bus hit up.
- 32:22Speaker 7: Boy.
- 32:23Speaker 1: Ma.
- 32:23Speaker 8: Mama bought that for about two months.
- 32:26Speaker 7: Huh about two months, she.
- 32:28Speaker 8: Said, she said, why you ain't getting no case.

- 32:41Speaker 11: All right, Steve, you you started telling us about this woman.
- 32:47Speaker 5: I met this girl and in college. Lord, she was
- 32:52Speaker 5: fine creole girl. My brother told me how to get him,
- 32:56Speaker 5: and he gave me some money to take out. So
- 32:58Speaker 5: I told her to pick a restaurant. She picked the
- 32:59Speaker 5: creole restaurant. Now I'm seventeen, I ain't had no creole food.
- 33:03Speaker 3: So I'm in. I go in there.
- 33:07Speaker 5: She done ordered all this spicy stuff. I to fail
- 33:10Speaker 5: all this but spicy though. Yeah, yeah, I'm eating stuff.
- 33:13Speaker 5: Man ain't never been in my system before. So I'm
- 33:18Speaker 5: taking her home and my stomach is turning it. So
- 33:21Speaker 5: we get at the front of the house. I'm gonna
- 33:24Speaker 5: walk up to the door. She said, come on in
- 33:26Speaker 5: for a little while. My mama and them gone.
- 33:28Speaker 17: Oh.
- 33:29Speaker 3: Now, my mama had told me when your stomach just

- 33:32Speaker 5: Try to go home, Yes, yeah, and put that in
- 33:35Speaker 5: nobody else house grated, yes, but she was so fine.
- 33:40Speaker 5: I just said, well, man, let me go on in
- 33:41Speaker 5: here for a little while, because I what kind of
- 33:43Speaker 5: man would I be?
- 33:44Speaker 3: Fine?
- 33:45Speaker 5: Chick invite you in, and mama and daddy ain't there.
- 33:47Speaker 5: Let me at least go on in here.
- 33:48Speaker 1: Something your stomach?
- 33:50Speaker 5: I mean, really, surely this a girl. Every man would
- 33:56Speaker 5: have went in there. I'm sitting there on the country
- 33:59Speaker 5: watching TV. My stomach is turning.
- 34:01Speaker 3: I can hear.
- 34:02Speaker 5: So, I said, Can I go to the bathroom? She said,
- 34:06Speaker 5: second door on the left. I go in there, and
- 34:11Speaker 5: Lord have mercy. The walls of gibaltar, walls of id
- 34:21Speaker 5: have grabbed the tie rack in front of me to
- 34:25Speaker 5: just try to hang on. I'm twisting the guest tile
- 34:27Speaker 5: in my head like I'm ringing it out. I did
- 34:31Speaker 5: knock the tarlet tissue holder off the wall, screws out
- 34:36Speaker 5: everything I didn't kicked over the trash.
- 34:39Speaker 1: Can you can hear this?
- 34:40Speaker 8: Right?
- 34:41Speaker 3: I don't hear you wasn't feeling what I was feeling.
- 34:46Speaker 5: But I'm using the bathroom so much that is alarming
- 34:52Speaker 5: to me.
- 34:54Speaker 3: I've actually put more in.
- 34:57Speaker 5: There than I've ever put in there in my prior
- 35:00Speaker 5: to I didn't know when you don't stop.
- 35:05Speaker 3: My story shirt. This is for JR. Time I talk

- 35:11Speaker 5: So I'm filling the bowl of so finally I'm done
- 35:13Speaker 5: to my release. But I'm sweating though I'm talking about it.
- 35:18Speaker 5: I'm in there, my shirt wide. I had button my
- 35:23Speaker 5: whole ship.
- 35:25Speaker 1: It's wide over.
- 35:27Speaker 5: I had hung my pants up on the back of
- 35:30Speaker 5: the dunk because I use the bathroom like my daddy
- 35:33Speaker 5: always hang my pants and draws up on the back
- 35:36Speaker 5: of the dort. Yeah, you don't ever use the bathroom.
- 35:41Speaker 5: But I got my shirt on, but I didn't open it.
- 35:43Speaker 3: Up because it's hot.
- 35:45Speaker 5: I got just just water coming down out the frow.
- 35:49Speaker 5: So I stand though, and I flushed the toilet. Now
- 35:55Speaker 5: I'm putting my clothes on. But you know how you're
- 35:58Speaker 5: waiting to hear that sign that.
- 36:05Speaker 3: All I hear is to swirl it. And I turned
- 36:09Speaker 3: around and and there's rising rising.
- 36:16Speaker 5: I'm asking God to not to do this to me today.
- 36:22Speaker 5: I'm asking God, not today, Lord, not in him.
- 36:28Speaker 1: Part three.
- 36:29Speaker 5: This ain't the time for this, Lord, stop this swirl
- 36:36Speaker 5: from rising.

- 38:01Speaker 5: the bathroom, sat in the house cause she's fine. Now
- 38:04Speaker 5: I'm in here using the bathroom, and all held and
- 38:07Speaker 5: broke loose again. I'm in here, neked, sitting on the cart,
- 38:11Speaker 5: just my shirt on because I like.
- 38:13Speaker 3: To sit wide.
- 38:15Speaker 5: I like to be open and free, and I need
- 38:17Speaker 5: it because I had to brace myself.
- 38:19Speaker 3: A couple of times.
- 38:20Speaker 7: But she never came in there.
- 38:22Speaker 5: Now not yet she coming. That's coming in the store.
- 38:25Speaker 5: So I get up. I finally get through. But I've
- 38:28Speaker 5: noticed that I'm putting more in the bowls than ever before,
- 38:31Speaker 5: so I'm a little bit concerned with the sheer volume.
- 38:35Speaker 5: So I flushed the toilet as I'm putting my pasts
- 38:38Speaker 5: back up on me, and I'm waiting.
- 38:40Speaker 3: To hear that. But I don't hear it. And I

- 39:12Speaker 3: it's at the very top of the toilet.
- 39:15Speaker 1: Oh my God, And.
- 39:16Speaker 3: It's about to flow over. So now I don't know
- 39:21Speaker 3: what to do. So I look down and it's a
- 39:25Speaker 3: trash can.
- 39:27Speaker 5: So I dipped the trash can down in it, and
- 39:31Speaker 5: I got a trash can full of it here.
- 39:34Speaker 3: So I pulled a.
- 39:35Speaker 5: Shower curtain back and throw it in the bathtube.
- 39:42Speaker 3: But here comes some more.
- 39:45Speaker 5: So I had to take another trash can full of
- 39:48Speaker 5: it and throw another trash can in the bath tan,
- 39:52Speaker 5: and here comes some more. So now I realized they
- 39:56Speaker 5: call it is broke and bragged up, and it started
- 40:02Speaker 5: going back down, and you work in. I say, I
- 40:06Speaker 5: gotta get some water and put it in here. So
- 40:09Speaker 5: I started running water in the trash can to pour
- 40:12Speaker 5: it down there and make the water go clean. So
- 40:15Speaker 5: I finally did that. Yeah, and I said, thank you Lord.
- 40:19Speaker 5: And I looked over and the bathtub is tripe, shower
- 40:28Speaker 5: crook this trip.

- 41:29Speaker 3: Then throw it in the shower.
- 41:32Speaker 5: So when I get all of the water back in
- 41:34Speaker 5: the toilet where I got it some time in the
- 41:36Speaker 5: water clean, I said.
- 41:37Speaker 3: Okay cool.
- 41:38Speaker 5: I look over the vathtub is tracked. So now I
- 41:44Speaker 5: cut these people shower on and I'm washing down the walls,
- 41:51Speaker 5: the shower curtain with the shower. The girl comes up
- 41:55Speaker 5: to the door because I've been in here now about
- 41:56Speaker 5: forty five minutes all the time, so she said, you're
- 42:02Speaker 5: okay down. She said it sounded like something.
- 42:10Speaker 1: Wrong in that.
- 42:12Speaker 3: Waiting to do.
- 42:15Speaker 1: To get away from the.
- 42:16Speaker 3: Said, well, okay, house.
- 42:20Speaker 5: So I'm in there. It's this too late. But I
- 42:23Speaker 5: noticed they got a candle in the bathroom. Oh I
- 42:26Speaker 5: light it. I light the candlestarts, striking matches and running tapwater.
- 42:32Speaker 5: That for my mama always told me, strike some matches
- 42:34Speaker 5: and run some tapwater.
- 42:35Speaker 3: It'll help you get rid of old.
- 42:37Speaker 5: So I'm in there, but now I'm washing down shower curtains, walls,
- 42:41Speaker 5: the bath tub.
- 42:43Speaker 3: Getting up stuff off the floor. I'm just in here now.
- 42:47Speaker 3: Now you probably said, Steve, what is you washing it

- 42:57Speaker 5: twisting it.
- 42:58Speaker 10: Yeah, they guessed, howe the forward?
- 43:05Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's what I washed it down. My

- 43:41Speaker 3: I got everything up.
- 43:42Speaker 5: But I got this big mast of town and I
- 43:45Speaker 5: don't know what to do with it.
- 43:46Speaker 3: So I take it, put it in the waste paper.
- 43:49Speaker 5: Can that I've been bailing with, and struck all that
- 43:52Speaker 5: under the seat.
- 43:55Speaker 3: Yeah, I figured this ain't finna be good.
- 43:58Speaker 5: Nohow, But at least when they come in here, it's
- 44:01Speaker 5: gonna take a moment because I know when you're going there,
- 44:04Speaker 5: you're gonna have to say what they hit. Because I
- 44:08Speaker 5: couldn't remember how the shower curtain was and none of

- 56:39Speaker 10: you here. It is the Strawberry Letter.
- 56:42Speaker 7: Thank you.
- 56:42Speaker 11: Nephew's subject he's not creative enough for me, Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 56:46Speaker 11: I'm a forty nine year old married woman and my
- 56:49Speaker 11: husband is forty seven and boring with a capital B.
- 56:53Speaker 11: We have gained weight since we got married, and he's
- 56:56Speaker 11: a thigh and butt kind of a guy. So he's
- 56:59Speaker 11: constantly rubbing on me and grabbing my behind. That's all
- 57:03Speaker 11: he's done to show me affection in the last year.
- 57:06Speaker 11: Sex with him is boring, and as soon as he's done,
- 57:09Speaker 11: he falls asleep. We don't cuddle and he sleeps with
- 57:12Speaker 11: his back to me. I talked to him about being
- 57:15Speaker 11: a little more creative in the bedroom, and he said
- 57:18Speaker 11: he has a lot of stress to perform at work
- 57:20Speaker 11: and his body gets tired quicker because of all the
- 57:23Speaker 11: extra weight he's carrying around. I told him I would
- 57:26Speaker 11: come up with a few ways for us to enjoy
- 57:28Speaker 11: sex again without it hurting his knees or his back.
- 57:33Speaker 11: I started watching videos not porn, to study positions and
- 57:37Speaker 11: techniques to please him. I thought this age, sex would
- 57:41Speaker 11: be natural and fun, but he sees it as work.
- 57:44Speaker 11: I asked him to watch a few of the videos,
- 57:46Speaker 11: and he said that's adding something else for him to do,
- 57:49Speaker 11: and there's not enough time in.
- 57:51Speaker 7: The day as it is.
- 57:53Speaker 11: I've never seen a man that's as uninterested in sex
- 57:56Speaker 11: as he is right now. I use what I learned
- 58:00Speaker 11: in a video on him, and he literally laid there
- 58:02Speaker 11: and let me do all of the work. And he
- 58:04Speaker 11: didn't put in any effort. So when I finished, I
- 58:08Speaker 11: didn't let him finish. I might as well have used
- 58:11Speaker 11: my toy. And speaking of toys, he used to love
- 58:14Speaker 11: playing with them, but he said we're too old to
- 58:17Speaker 11: be fooling around like that. Now he never tells me
- 58:20Speaker 11: no when I want sex, but he won't put forth
- 58:22Speaker 11: any effort, and I feel unloved. I asked him if
- 58:26Speaker 11: my weight is a turnoff, and he said that we
- 58:28Speaker 11: are both overweight, so no, is he really not interested
- 58:32Speaker 11: in sex or is he lying about my weight being
- 58:35Speaker 11: a problem?
- 58:36Speaker 7: All I need is some creativity.
- 58:39Speaker 11: Well, I think this is a problem, you know, especially
- 58:42Speaker 11: if it's really cheating that you I mean, if it's
- 58:46Speaker 11: really the weight that you're dealing with. Sex is just
- 58:49Speaker 11: too important in a marriage. I applaud your wifey for
- 58:52Speaker 11: your effort. I mean, you've already done so much to
- 58:54Speaker 11: try and make your sex life better. You've gone as
- 58:56Speaker 11: far as doing real research, watching movies, not pouring, you say,
- 59:00Speaker 11: And then you've tried out what you learn from those
- 59:02Speaker 11: movies on your husband.
- 59:04Speaker 7: That's a lot. But he just lies there.
- 59:07Speaker 11: He told you he gets tired quicker because of the
- 59:09Speaker 11: extra pounds and the stress of work. I mean, you know,
- 59:12Speaker 11: stress and work that could cause extra weight.
- 59:14Speaker 7: We do know that.
- 59:15Speaker 11: But you say he will still have sex with you.
- 59:19Speaker 11: He never tells you no, which means maybe that he
- 59:21Speaker 11: is interested on some level, he just won't initiate it.
- 59:26Speaker 11: Or he turns his back and goes to sleep when
- 59:28Speaker 11: it's over, so maybe.
- 59:30Speaker 7: He's not interested.
- 59:31Speaker 11: And then you're over there, still awake and mad afterwards,
- 59:34Speaker 11: and oh yeah, he did say you guys are too
- 59:36Speaker 11: old for toys and stuff.
- 59:38Speaker 7: Has he just given up? I mean, is it a
- 59:41Speaker 7: medical issue? Is the cheating?
- 59:43Speaker 1: What is it?
- 59:44Speaker 7: You want?
- 59:45Speaker 11: The intimacy you want that romance and that connection. You
- 59:48Speaker 11: want to cuddle.
- 59:49Speaker 7: That's what we women like. I mean, he's not even
- 59:51Speaker 7: trying to do any of that.
- 59:53Speaker 11: And you know all marriages hit rough patches, but it
- 59:56Speaker 11: is hard to keep a marriage together when you're just
- 59:58Speaker 11: doing the bare minimum. So I mean, if it's the weight,
- 1:00:03Speaker 11: if it's the weight like you think it is, like
- 1:00:05Speaker 11: you say it is in this letter, start with just
- 1:00:07Speaker 11: trying to get healthier, and you know what that means,
- 1:00:09Speaker 11: changing your diet, starting exercise, starting to lose some of
- 1:00:13Speaker 11: those pounds.
- 1:00:14Speaker 7: All right, that's what I have for you.
- 1:00:15Speaker 11: You should see a difference that if the weight is
- 1:00:18Speaker 11: truly the issue, you should see a difference. Hopefully you
- 1:00:22Speaker 11: guys will start feeling a little better about yourself and
- 1:00:24Speaker 11: feeling better and looking better.
- 1:00:26Speaker 7: Steve, that's all I got, she said, the weight.
- 1:00:30Speaker 3: Well, so y'all want me to do this letter?
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: Yes, come on, No, we're not sure.
- 1:00:40Speaker 7: No, I'm sure, Yeah, right, do it.
- 1:00:44Speaker 5: Yeah, you know, Cherl, I appreciate your response, your effort.
- 1:00:53Speaker 7: I'm going with the weight.
- 1:00:54Speaker 3: She said, it was the.
- 1:00:55Speaker 5: Weight, what Steve, But you're not addressing the weight because
- 1:01:01Speaker 5: I know you would in a way that can help.
- 1:01:05Speaker 3: This couple.
- 1:01:08Speaker 5: Were bouncing all around the subject. She said it right
- 1:01:13Speaker 5: off the dribble, she know what this is. Her husband
- 1:01:19Speaker 5: is boring with a capital beats. Right after that, she said,
- 1:01:25Speaker 5: we have gained weight since we got married, and he's
- 1:01:29Speaker 5: a thigh and bunt kind of guy, so he's constantly
- 1:01:33Speaker 5: rubbing on me and grabbing my behind. Okay, I can
- 1:01:40Speaker 5: shoe you that.
- 1:01:42Speaker 3: A large part of this weight game is in that air.
- 1:01:46Speaker 3: I can show you that.
- 1:01:48Speaker 5: So right now we don't have a problem because he
- 1:01:50Speaker 5: a button THI man, and you just gave him play
- 1:01:53Speaker 5: him up. But he also gained a week and that's
- 1:01:59Speaker 5: all he's done to show me affection.
- 1:02:01Speaker 3: In the last year.
- 1:02:03Speaker 5: Sex with him as boring and as soon as he's done,
- 1:02:07Speaker 5: he all.
- 1:02:09Speaker 3: So I'm just gonna set up the next break. Okay,
- 1:02:11Speaker 3: we come back.
- 1:02:12Speaker 5: I'm gonna show you the problem that this weight has
- 1:02:19Speaker 5: caught and a lot of this, lady, is your fault,
- 1:02:24Speaker 5: and the.
- 1:02:25Speaker 3: Other hand is his fault. It's some dudes and don'ts.
- 1:02:31Speaker 5: When you're big and you got to focus on these
- 1:02:36Speaker 5: don't cost the dues. It is not always possible. So
- 1:02:43Speaker 5: when we come back, dudes and don't all right, and
- 1:02:50Speaker 5: all that, I'm gonna have a shot. How much weight centy?
- 1:02:54Speaker 15: All right?
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: Pull that thought.
- 1:02:56Speaker 11: All right, we'll be back start at twenty after the
- 1:03:01Speaker 11: hour with today's strawberry letter. The title He's not creative
- 1:03:04Speaker 11: enough for me. We'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:03:07Speaker 9: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:03:14Speaker 8: If you're a homeowner, you know it took years of saving,

- 1:03:45Speaker 11: All right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:03:48Speaker 11: The subject is he's not creative enough for me.
- 1:03:51Speaker 5: We got a problem with this letter. This forty nine
- 1:03:54Speaker 5: year old woman and her her husband forty seven. She
- 1:03:57Speaker 5: claims is boring with a capital B and the reason
- 1:04:01Speaker 5: is because we have gained weight since we got there week.
- 1:04:04Speaker 3: We is the key of both of these people to
- 1:04:06Speaker 3: gain weight.
- 1:04:07Speaker 5: And he's a button thigh guy, and so all he
- 1:04:11Speaker 5: does now is rub on me. That's the lit total
- 1:04:14Speaker 5: affection that she gets from him, and and but sets
- 1:04:19Speaker 5: with him is boring and as soon.
- 1:04:21Speaker 3: As he's done, he falls asleep.
- 1:04:23Speaker 5: A couple of the things I want to point out
- 1:04:25Speaker 5: in this letter. He said he has a lot of
- 1:04:28Speaker 5: stress to perform at work, and his body gets tied
- 1:04:31Speaker 5: quicker because of the extra weight he's carrying around.
- 1:04:36Speaker 3: So this ain't this, ain't ten pounds. This, this ain't
- 1:04:40Speaker 3: what you talking.
- 1:04:43Speaker 5: So you can pick up thirty pounds and still be
- 1:04:47Speaker 5: the same person, and the bag thirty is up there
- 1:04:50Speaker 5: and you can still perform. But anything over party fifty pounds,
- 1:04:54Speaker 5: we got to start making some adjustments. And I'm assuming
- 1:04:57Speaker 5: this is the letter, it's going to require some adjustments
- 1:05:00Speaker 5: because as soon as he gets through, he fall out.
- 1:05:02Speaker 5: And he don't never turn it down because he's still
- 1:05:05Speaker 5: sexy and all this here butt. So she talking about
- 1:05:09Speaker 5: that they had to get on watch porn. She said
- 1:05:12Speaker 5: it was I told him that I would come up
- 1:05:15Speaker 5: with a few ways for us to enjoy sex again
- 1:05:17Speaker 5: without hurting his knees on his back. That's a lot
- 1:05:20Speaker 5: of weight. Your knees in the back is hurting from
- 1:05:25Speaker 5: just regular walking and talking to sex.
- 1:05:28Speaker 3: You a bad shape. Your kneed.
- 1:05:31Speaker 5: Involved in sex a lot.
- 1:05:34Speaker 3: Some lot.
- 1:05:35Speaker 5: Even when you laying down face down, you got to
- 1:05:38Speaker 5: come up on your knees at one point because you
- 1:05:40Speaker 5: didn't going to wait. You show can't lift up on
- 1:05:42Speaker 5: your toes no more that toes and stretching your.
- 1:05:45Speaker 3: Legs out straight. That's how you have got to use
- 1:05:48Speaker 3: your knees. And Hee picked up so much weight his knee.
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: Yeah, his noise is hurting on a mattress.
- 1:05:55Speaker 5: You know how much weight your factor your knee us, Shirley,
- 1:06:01Speaker 5: don't stop your knees is hurting on the mattress. You
- 1:06:03Speaker 5: don't have to wait his fat And then you laying
- 1:06:07Speaker 5: up there and watch the video with all this stuff.
- 1:06:10Speaker 3: You can't see here the danger with watching pawn.
- 1:06:14Speaker 5: Everybody in the porn old movie in shape. You can't
- 1:06:18Speaker 5: do what's in the movie. So now I have created
- 1:06:21Speaker 5: you'll be quiet, Shirley. You even did what you're good
- 1:06:24Speaker 5: to help the pop all talking about two fat people
- 1:06:27Speaker 5: in here trying to act like they in a porno field.
- 1:06:31Speaker 5: And you can't do that because the size and the
- 1:06:34Speaker 5: weight is gonna restrict a lot of what you do.
- 1:06:38Speaker 5: These are some of the that are technique. Their size
- 1:06:42Speaker 5: restriction restricts. Technique that is fatigue involved, flexibility involved, pain involved.
- 1:06:52Speaker 5: You can't hold your body in certain position.
- 1:06:55Speaker 3: Let me explain something. It's a lot of stuff. Y'all
- 1:06:58Speaker 3: just can't do.
- 1:07:00Speaker 5: All this stuff you've seen in the porn on top
- 1:07:02Speaker 5: of pool table, y'all can't do that. Y'all can't do
- 1:07:07Speaker 5: that all the back damn table. Why these kids gonna
- 1:07:10Speaker 5: play that? You can't do that right here? All this
- 1:07:15Speaker 5: stuff you see him splashing saint water on top of
- 1:07:17Speaker 5: each other, splashing up in the sea. You can't get
- 1:07:20Speaker 5: her up on that seat and not hold her up
- 1:07:23Speaker 5: there with your kneeds. All these restrict this stuff you
- 1:07:27Speaker 5: see that that day.
- 1:07:29Speaker 3: Ain't nothing with that. You know how you picked your
- 1:07:31Speaker 3: pardon up? Go crock you not.
- 1:07:33Speaker 5: Finnna do that. Can't nobody carry your across the room
- 1:07:36Speaker 5: no more? You ain't being carried across the room. He batter,
- 1:07:39Speaker 5: He can tell you beaut take everything to come upstairs
- 1:07:42Speaker 5: tonight you show can't get up from the steps with
- 1:07:45Speaker 5: all that wheezing, and then pick your sticks up and
- 1:07:48Speaker 5: carry you around the room like you want to get
- 1:07:50Speaker 5: carried around because you saw that in the poor no field.
- 1:07:53Speaker 5: I'm gonna tell you something else. Ain't wall mountains.
- 1:07:56Speaker 3: Mounting them up on the wall.
- 1:07:57Speaker 5: That's not happening no more, walt you know how you
- 1:08:01Speaker 5: get picked up slammed up just the wall all round
- 1:08:03Speaker 5: here in the neighbor's apartment, trying that right there, because
- 1:08:06Speaker 5: that ain't number to keep rocking wood framing right there,
- 1:08:09Speaker 5: and they're down and there they have a little pink uh.
- 1:08:12Speaker 3: You know, insulation in that.
- 1:08:14Speaker 5: But if you slam a big person up against apartment wall,
- 1:08:17Speaker 5: y'all would be in the mother people apartment. So all
- 1:08:19Speaker 5: that wall mountains. Just tell you something else. Shandon lit
- 1:08:22Speaker 5: swan is out. Listen to me, shure, ain't almost Shandon
- 1:08:26Speaker 5: lift swings all.
- 1:08:27Speaker 15: This is what y'all used to do when.
- 1:08:28Speaker 5: Y'all was younger and lighter. You flank crossed down that
- 1:08:31Speaker 5: shandon lid. See what happened. Everybody in there gonna get
- 1:08:35Speaker 5: let you cute. You're gonna pull all the wires down
- 1:08:37Speaker 5: out that ceiling and then yat's gonna be sitting up
- 1:08:40Speaker 5: in here in this bed, shocked and all this here,
- 1:08:42Speaker 5: all this little sexy stuff. That army crawl into the bed.
- 1:08:45Speaker 5: He get tied as soon as he come out of
- 1:08:47Speaker 5: the bathroom. When he get out on the ball four
- 1:08:50Speaker 5: he tried to pull his figure up on the foot.
- 1:08:51Speaker 3: Of that bed and Army crawl. Cueen your legs. He
- 1:08:55Speaker 3: can't do that no more. That ain't what he do.
- 1:08:59Speaker 3: Let me tell y'all something.
- 1:09:00Speaker 5: Don't knob die, that's out. Don't knob div Put your
- 1:09:05Speaker 5: foot on that. Don knob and see what happens.
- 1:09:07Speaker 3: Snap that.

- 1:09:10Speaker 5: that bedroom and miss work tomorrow because you can't get out.
- 1:09:13Speaker 5: Now you got to call the neighbor because y'all be broken.
- 1:09:17Speaker 5: Donob off the dope, so ain't no more do knob die,

- 1:10:51Speaker 7: These include things.
- 1:10:52Speaker 11: Like I'm not good enough, I'm overweight, or I'm too fat,
- 1:10:56Speaker 11: and I'm not good looking, or I'm ugly. Those surveyed

- 1:11:46Speaker 5: who know it's something that we're not willing to accept.
- 1:11:53Speaker 11: But you don't consider yourself attractive, And Tommy thinks he's
- 1:11:56Speaker 11: dropped dead gorgeous.
- 1:11:57Speaker 10: Fine, And I'm not gonna quit thinking this way, and
- 1:12:00Speaker 10: I'm sorry, I'm not doing it.
- 1:12:01Speaker 3: I'm not gonna.
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: Pick just say you were in denial.
- 1:12:07Speaker 3: I don't care what he's ugly. Behind said. See, we
- 1:12:11Speaker 3: got a problem here.
- 1:12:13Speaker 5: We're trying to understand where Tommy is coming.
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: From, because.
- 1:12:21Speaker 5: He's dealing with you know, like like you can have
- 1:12:25Speaker 5: a spring arm, you can have a fraction arm, you
- 1:12:29Speaker 5: can have a broken arm, and you can compound fraction.
- 1:12:34Speaker 3: Tommy's dealing with a compound fraction.
- 1:12:36Speaker 7: I knew you were gonna say, I knew you.
- 1:12:38Speaker 10: Were so.
- 1:12:41Speaker 3: Be short and ugly.
- 1:12:46Speaker 5: Wakay, okay, let me say on to cuteness.
- 1:12:51Speaker 3: Let me say this.
- 1:12:52Speaker 5: And the last time has he heard anybody say, hey,
- 1:12:55Speaker 5: with your little cute.
- 1:12:59Speaker 3: I went to the cow practice?
- 1:13:01Speaker 10: Oh okay, yes, yes, And I have been I have
- 1:13:05Speaker 10: been stretched, I have been realigned, and I am now
- 1:13:10Speaker 10: by ten and a half.
- 1:13:11Speaker 3: I am now.
- 1:13:14Speaker 10: I've been elongated.
- 1:13:16Speaker 3: I've been elongated.
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: I'm telling you you ain't got the lie create you.
- 1:13:23Speaker 10: Know what, you know, when we get off, when we
- 1:13:25Speaker 10: get off to this one, I'm gonna measure my height
- 1:13:27Speaker 10: and take a picture of it.
- 1:13:28Speaker 5: Right, I'm take a picture. You can stand up on
- 1:13:31Speaker 5: this zoom. If you stand up on your zoom, you'll

- 1:13:44Speaker 1: All right. We gotta go less up.
- 1:13:48Speaker 3: It's DJ Cavi.
- 1:13:50Speaker 7: This your boy, Chris bro Hey, this is Keisha Coles.
- 1:13:52Speaker 3: People, this is Kirk Franklin.
- 1:13:53Speaker 10: Hey, this is John Legend and you're listening to the
- 1:13:55Speaker 10: Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:13:56Speaker 7: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Here's a question.
- 1:14:04Speaker 11: A guy asked his friend to email the morning show
- 1:14:06Speaker 11: to get your opinion.
- 1:14:07Speaker 3: Steve.
- 1:14:08Speaker 11: My wife went out of town this past weekend, and
- 1:14:11Speaker 11: it was a good thing because on Saturday, a young guy,
- 1:14:15Speaker 11: maybe around twenty years old, rang my doorbell. He asked
- 1:14:18Speaker 11: me my name, asked if I once lived in Memphis,
- 1:14:21Speaker 11: and asked me if I knew a woman whose name
- 1:14:24Speaker 11: I won't mention. When those checked out, he then put
- 1:14:29Speaker 11: out his hand and told me he was my son.
- 1:14:32Speaker 11: I lived in Tennessee two decades ago, and I dated
- 1:14:35Speaker 11: the woman for a little while. So the math checks out,
- 1:14:39Speaker 11: and this was right before my wife and I got married.
- 1:14:41Speaker 11: But the kid's mom didn't tell me any of this.
- 1:14:44Speaker 11: I invited the young man in and we talked more
- 1:14:47Speaker 11: about it. He's trying to put his life together. It
- 1:14:50Speaker 11: was a cool conversation and we both agreed to get
- 1:14:53Speaker 11: a DNA test to confirm or deny the possibility that
- 1:14:56Speaker 11: he is my son. And yes, he favors me either way.
- 1:15:01Speaker 11: How do I break this Mari Povitch, you are or
- 1:15:05Speaker 11: you are not? The father situation to my wife? Do
- 1:15:08Speaker 11: I tell her everything about the visit, the DNA test
- 1:15:11Speaker 11: or wait for the results and then tell her I
- 1:15:13Speaker 11: have a son?
- 1:15:15Speaker 3: Yeah? I would, I would.
- 1:15:17Speaker 5: I would take the DNA test and then when it
- 1:15:21Speaker 5: comes back positive that that's your son. Then you got
- 1:15:24Speaker 5: to tell your wife exactly how it happened. This guy
- 1:15:28Speaker 5: came to my house. Oh hell no, say what you.
- 1:15:35Speaker 11: Don't tell her about the visit first?
- 1:15:39Speaker 3: No? No, no, no, no, no, it's easy to no. No.
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: You tell them on the weekend. What happened this weekend?
- 1:15:45Speaker 4: What'd you do?
- 1:15:45Speaker 7: Nothing?
- 1:15:46Speaker 3: Nothing.
- 1:15:47Speaker 5: I'll watch it to you myself. Yeah, I promise you.
- 1:15:52Speaker 5: I'm not mentioning it. So he came over you. How
- 1:15:55Speaker 5: come you didn't tell me this right then? Baby, listen,
- 1:15:58Speaker 5: I didn't know whether he's young man, I was telling
- 1:16:00Speaker 5: the truth or not. I do remember this woman over
- 1:16:03Speaker 5: twenty years ago. It was before we got married. I
- 1:16:06Speaker 5: do remember this. But if it wasn't no DNA, it
- 1:16:09Speaker 5: ain't no need of him talking to me about this
- 1:16:12Speaker 5: and find out this truth.
- 1:16:13Speaker 11: I have a son, So you know, twenty years means
- 1:16:18Speaker 11: nothing to her because this happened right before the weddings.
- 1:16:21Speaker 3: He was born before the wed.
- 1:16:23Speaker 7: Yeah, but I'm just saying you do realize.
- 1:16:25Speaker 5: That well at nine months, nine months, you know all
- 1:16:29Speaker 5: as long long is he born before this wedding.
- 1:16:32Speaker 3: We got we got something.
- 1:16:34Speaker 11: So you knew about this woman while you were walking
- 1:16:38Speaker 11: down while we were walking down the aisle, I.
- 1:16:41Speaker 5: Had I had known of this woman before we got married,
- 1:16:47Speaker 5: but after I found out we were serious, I broke
- 1:16:49Speaker 5: it off. M I was younger back time. I was
- 1:16:54Speaker 5: younger back then. You'll be able to get past this
- 1:16:57Speaker 5: twenty year thing. And there see, no, no, no, listen
- 1:17:00Speaker 5: to me, No, no, no, it's not gonna be easy.
- 1:17:02Speaker 5: But see you out of the child support stage. You know,
- 1:17:06Speaker 5: ain't no money got to come out of the house.
- 1:17:08Speaker 5: You know it's easier to you know this is my son.
- 1:17:12Speaker 5: I didn't know it. Then you got to do the
- 1:17:14Speaker 5: right thing as a man because he trying to put
- 1:17:16Speaker 5: his life together.
- 1:17:18Speaker 3: So you got to help this your son.
- 1:17:21Speaker 5: At this point, I don't think this is gonna this
- 1:17:24Speaker 5: is not gonna lose calls him his marriage. It's gonna
- 1:17:27Speaker 5: create a whole lot of questions.
- 1:17:31Speaker 3: He gonna get tapped a lot in the middle of
- 1:17:33Speaker 3: the night.
- 1:17:34Speaker 7: Excuse me, yes he is.
- 1:17:37Speaker 3: Let me let me ask you something.
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: So when we went to King Ku because.

- 1:17:47Speaker 5: was in Memphis in ninety yes that wait wait wait wait,

- 1:18:09Speaker 10: Wait?
- 1:18:09Speaker 3: Wait minute? Wait a minue? Hold up.
- 1:18:11Speaker 5: So when you was driving, yes to see me in Dallas,
- 1:18:17Speaker 5: which way you go? Because that's fardy, faday fardy. Once
- 1:18:23Speaker 5: you come down Nashville, you hit fardy and then you
- 1:18:26Speaker 5: come across the Augas has to get on thirty. You
- 1:18:29Speaker 5: must have stopped. You went to see this helfer right

- 1:25:49Speaker 7: the day.
- 1:25:50Speaker 5: Well all in closing, I'd like to remind people that's
- 1:25:53Speaker 5: kind of something we had kind of touched on.
- 1:25:56Speaker 3: In the opening of the show. Junior said that he
- 1:26:08Speaker 3: heard a quote. Junior, do you remember what the quote
- 1:26:10Speaker 3: was that you said?
- 1:26:11Speaker 8: Yes, It says, if you think the cost of success
- 1:26:16Speaker 8: is high, wait till you get the.
- 1:26:19Speaker 3: Bill from regret. One more time, Junior, if.
- 1:26:24Speaker 8: You think the cost of success is high, wait until
- 1:26:27Speaker 8: you get the bill from Regret.
- 1:26:30Speaker 5: We had talked about this this morning. If you think
- 1:26:33Speaker 5: the cost of success is high, wait till you get
- 1:26:36Speaker 5: the bill for regret. I've been in that decision before.
- 1:26:41Speaker 5: And everyone gets to those moments in life where you
- 1:26:44Speaker 5: have to turn right or you turn left. And I'm
- 1:26:48Speaker 5: not saying turn right as in the right way or
- 1:26:51Speaker 5: left is the wrong way. I'm just saying everybody gets
- 1:26:54Speaker 5: to a crossroad in life where you have to go
- 1:26:56Speaker 5: this way or that way. What I found in life
- 1:27:00Speaker 5: is that the way that you should go is always
- 1:27:03Speaker 5: the harder route. It usually always is. It looks the
- 1:27:09Speaker 5: least amount of fun. It doesn't show right away what
- 1:27:16Speaker 5: all the upside is. It just looks hard. Then there's
- 1:27:19Speaker 5: an easy way you could take. You can strike out
- 1:27:24Speaker 5: and set your boundaries as difficult and high and hard,
- 1:27:27Speaker 5: or you can take the easy route and go I
- 1:27:29Speaker 5: ain't gonna do nothing. I ain't doing that today. That
- 1:27:32Speaker 5: just looked too hard. I've made the decision before in
- 1:27:35Speaker 5: my life not to take the hard way and boil, boil, boil, boy,
- 1:27:41Speaker 5: I had nothing but regret. So what I've learned in
- 1:27:45Speaker 5: my travels and in my life experiences is I now
- 1:27:50Speaker 5: understand that success is a process, and it is a
- 1:27:55Speaker 5: difficult process. It is simply hard. But that's my only
- 1:28:02Speaker 5: decision from here on out. And I've been making those
- 1:28:06Speaker 5: decisions since I was nearly forty. I don't take no
- 1:28:11Speaker 5: easy way. I expect it to be difficult. I expect
- 1:28:16Speaker 5: it to be challenging. I know that it's gonna be hard.
- 1:28:20Speaker 5: I know it's gonna be froth with disappointment. I know
- 1:28:23Speaker 5: it's going to be most challenging. But I also know
- 1:28:27Speaker 5: it's gonna be very, very rewarding. What I will not
- 1:28:31Speaker 5: do is take the nothing route, the easy route, the
- 1:28:36Speaker 5: settle forward route that I ain't gonna do this because
- 1:28:38Speaker 5: this right here, man, I just ain't doing that today. Because, buddy,
- 1:28:42Speaker 5: let me tell you something, when you get that bill
- 1:28:45Speaker 5: for regret, when you look back on what it should
- 1:28:50Speaker 5: have could have.
- 1:28:52Speaker 3: Man if I only had went on and faced it,
- 1:28:56Speaker 3: that's a hard one to live with.
- 1:28:58Speaker 5: Man.
- 1:28:59Speaker 3: That's a life of regret.
- 1:29:01Speaker 5: And all of us know somebody somewhere who is living
- 1:29:05Speaker 5: in a life of regret and man quitting. Quitting is
- 1:29:11Speaker 5: the biggest sponsor of regret because when you quit, you
- 1:29:15Speaker 5: never know what the end could have been. See, often
- 1:29:19Speaker 5: the struggler has given up when he might have captured
- 1:29:21Speaker 5: the victor's cup, and he learns too late, when the
- 1:29:24Speaker 5: night came down, how close he was to the golden crown.
- 1:29:28Speaker 5: See that stanza in that poem don't Quit is a
- 1:29:33Speaker 5: very effective one. Often the struggler has given up when
- 1:29:39Speaker 5: he might have captured the victor's cup, and he learns
- 1:29:44Speaker 5: too late, when the night came down, how close he
- 1:29:48Speaker 5: was to.
- 1:29:48Speaker 3: The golden crown.
- 1:29:50Speaker 5: That's regret, man, when you give up just in the
- 1:29:55Speaker 5: nick of time, Because giving up a shurees you one thing,
- 1:29:58Speaker 5: and one thing only, that you will not win, that
- 1:30:03Speaker 5: there is no way you can see victory.
- 1:30:06Speaker 3: That's what giving up guarantees.
- 1:30:09Speaker 5: Now, it ain't no guarantee if you stay with it,
- 1:30:12Speaker 5: but the possibility remains that you will succeed and you
- 1:30:18Speaker 5: will become a victor. But see so to those of
- 1:30:22Speaker 5: you that look at things so wrong all the time. Yeah,
- 1:30:26Speaker 5: but see Steve, you just said, even if you stick
- 1:30:29Speaker 5: with it, it ain't no guarantee. Ain't no guarantees in life.
- 1:30:34Speaker 5: But if you stick with it, the possibility remains. Why
- 1:30:40Speaker 5: would you destroy the possibility? Why would you remove all hope?
- 1:30:45Speaker 5: That don't make no sense to me? And even if
- 1:30:49Speaker 5: you fail, if you go a little bit further up
- 1:30:52Speaker 5: the road, you get a little bit more experienced, you
- 1:30:55Speaker 5: get a little bit more learning, you get a little
- 1:30:59Speaker 5: bit more knowledge, so the next time that may be
- 1:31:03Speaker 5: the experience and the knowledge you need to win. Don't
- 1:31:07Speaker 5: ever give up, don't ever quit, don't ever succumb to regret.
- 1:31:13Speaker 3: Stay with it.
- 1:31:14Speaker 5: You never know when God is gonna flip the switch,
- 1:31:18Speaker 5: and he ain't never been too late. Those are my
- 1:31:21Speaker 5: clothes remarks. Hey, y'all, do yourself a favor. Talk to
- 1:31:23Speaker 5: God today. He would absolutely love to hear from you.
- 1:31:27Speaker 5: And it don't matter if you ain't talked to him
- 1:31:29Speaker 5: in a while. He's a forgiving god. He's forgiven me
- 1:31:32Speaker 5: thousands of times. I'm gonna probably use up a few
- 1:31:35Speaker 5: hundred more for I leave this world. I'm gonna try
- 1:31:38Speaker 5: to cut it down to just a few hundreds and
- 1:31:41Speaker 5: not do the thousands I've.
- 1:31:44Speaker 3: Come money.
