- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time of
- 0:05Speaker 1: y'all don't know. Y'all have a sun giving them like
- 0:15Speaker 1: the milking things, and its not me through good string
- 0:24Speaker 1: to the other for stay, I don't join jo. You
- 0:59Speaker 1: gotta use that turn run you are you gotta turn
- 1:41Speaker 1: to turn them out. Turn you got to turn them out.
- 1:45Speaker 1: Then turn the water the water got come come on
- 1:59Speaker 1: your baby, huh I sure? Well, good morning everybody. You
- 2:05Speaker 1: are listening to the voice, come on, dig me now
- 2:08Speaker 1: want and only Steve Harvey at a radio show. Man
- 2:14Speaker 1: o man o, man I thank God for it. I
- 2:17Speaker 1: thank God for all he's done for me, for all
- 2:21Speaker 1: the little things that are oftentimes failed to thank him
- 2:25Speaker 1: for that I take for granted for you know, I was.
- 2:31Speaker 1: I was talking the other day to a buddy of mine.
- 2:35Speaker 1: We had gotten to this conversation about God and and
- 2:40Speaker 1: and in the conversation we had narrowed it down and
- 2:43Speaker 1: we were talking about changing the way we are as people.
- 2:47Speaker 1: You know that everybody has to change. You know, nothing
- 2:51Speaker 1: stays the same. Everybody changes, and a lot of these
- 2:56Speaker 1: changes can be for the good, and a lot of
- 2:58Speaker 1: them are just They just come with time, you know,
- 3:01Speaker 1: sometimes it's aging that changes us. But no matter how
- 3:05Speaker 1: old you get, you still have the ability to improve
- 3:11Speaker 1: as a person. You may not have the foot speed
- 3:14Speaker 1: you used to have. You may not be as agile
- 3:18Speaker 1: as you used to be. Your energy level may not
- 3:24Speaker 1: be what it used to be. Your desire to do
- 3:28Speaker 1: some of the things that you used to do may
- 3:30Speaker 1: be gone. The thing that doesn't have to change and
- 3:38Speaker 1: will not change, is you. You have the ability to
- 3:43Speaker 1: continue to grow as a person, even when far the
- 3:50Speaker 1: time and nature has taken its course. We were talking
- 3:56Speaker 1: about everybody can change and everybody has the right to
- 4:06Speaker 1: reinvent themselves as they get older, and I equated it
- 4:12Speaker 1: to jumping out of an airplane. You know, there are
- 4:16Speaker 1: some people man who get to a certain point in
- 4:18Speaker 1: their life and they and they jump from the airplane.
- 4:22Speaker 1: Is now almost a stunt of some kind. It's almost
- 4:28Speaker 1: like they life then got out of control. You ever
- 4:30Speaker 1: seen somebody jump out of airplane and the parachute don't open,
- 4:35Speaker 1: and they lifestart and it seems like they start spinning
- 4:37Speaker 1: and tumbling and they can't get it together. And I've
- 4:40Speaker 1: seen some mid air rescues before. But then there are
- 4:43Speaker 1: times when you know when it hasn't worked. You know,
- 4:46Speaker 1: you jump out that airplane and and and at first
- 4:50Speaker 1: it's fun. I've never skydived before, but I would imagine
- 4:55Speaker 1: when you first jump out of an airplane that they
- 4:58Speaker 1: people describe it as a a sense of being free.
- 5:02Speaker 1: And it's exhilarating when you first jump out the plane.
- 5:06Speaker 1: But if you pull that cord and nothing happens. I
- 5:10Speaker 1: never happened to me, But I can only imagine the
- 5:14Speaker 1: panic that's got to set in because no matter how
- 5:18Speaker 1: fun it was a moment ago, the flying over to
- 5:22Speaker 1: one another, holding hands in the air, the breeze, the
- 5:28Speaker 1: descent of the feeling of all of a sudden, if
- 5:32Speaker 1: you reach for that cord and that's not there, you're
- 5:35Speaker 1: suddenly spinning out of control. And that's what happens in
- 5:39Speaker 1: a lot of people's lives. When you first start your life,
- 5:42Speaker 1: you jump out the plane. You're free, you're young, you
- 5:45Speaker 1: ain't got nothing to where about. But then you get
- 5:47Speaker 1: to a certain point in your life when you go, okay,
- 5:50Speaker 1: I'm gonna pull the cord now. And pulling the cord
- 5:54Speaker 1: is an important thing because here's the analogy my friend gave.
- 6:01Speaker 1: He said, man, use your mind like a parachute. It
- 6:06Speaker 1: works better when it's open. Well, see what happens with
- 6:11Speaker 1: a lot of people is they in life. They jump
- 6:14Speaker 1: out the plane and they and they having this free
- 6:19Speaker 1: fall and it's fun for now. But they get to
- 6:23Speaker 1: a certain point in their life where they got themselves
- 6:25Speaker 1: into situation, or they've had a little bit too much
- 6:28Speaker 1: fun a little bit too long, or you know, they
- 6:30Speaker 1: wasn't open to nothing, and they just did what they
- 6:33Speaker 1: wanted to do, or they started getting involved with drugs
- 6:37Speaker 1: or drinking or started running with the wrong people. So
- 6:39Speaker 1: you jump out the plane. The first you're free falling.
- 6:42Speaker 1: It's fun. But then after a minute, man, something happens
- 6:45Speaker 1: and they realize whoa, and they reach for the chord,
- 6:47Speaker 1: and the chord don't work. Well, now you're in the
- 6:50Speaker 1: panic stricken situation. And my suggesting is what I've learned
- 6:54Speaker 1: from the analogy that my friends shared with me, is
- 6:57Speaker 1: that we all the sooner we can open our minds
- 7:00Speaker 1: to God, the sooner we could develop that relationship with him.
- 7:06Speaker 1: It's like pulling the cord and opening a parachute. If
- 7:10Speaker 1: you open up your mind to God, God is like
- 7:13Speaker 1: a parachute. You know, God can slow your descent. God
- 7:20Speaker 1: can turn this out of control free fall into a
- 7:24Speaker 1: nice ride for you. See, that's what happened to me.
- 7:29Speaker 1: I was spinning out of control. I had gotten myself
- 7:34Speaker 1: into a point man while I wasn't doing real good. Oh,
- 7:38Speaker 1: y'all would look at me and think, man Stevie man Nam,
- 7:43Speaker 1: I wasn't doing real good. I had spun out of control.
- 7:48Speaker 1: I was. I was in a free fall, and I
- 7:51Speaker 1: reached for the court, but I was so far away
- 7:54Speaker 1: the cord didn't open. Then I went to him and
- 7:57Speaker 1: I pulled the cord. When I went to God, I
- 8:01Speaker 1: pulled the cord and open, and he slowed my descent.
- 8:05Speaker 1: And this is what I just believe. I don't believe
- 8:07Speaker 1: now that I aged as fast as I was aging,
- 8:11Speaker 1: because I got that parachute open. Now, you know, I
- 8:13Speaker 1: take better care of myself, eating, I work out more.
- 8:16Speaker 1: Now you know, I'm not out of control. I have
- 8:20Speaker 1: a direction now that when then got up under that
- 8:24Speaker 1: parachute a little bit, you know, And now I'm I'm
- 8:27Speaker 1: I'm going you know, I'm still getting older, you know, so,
- 8:30Speaker 1: but the descent is so slow. Now I'm able to
- 8:34Speaker 1: enjoy the ride. I'm guiding my parachute over. Sometimes we
- 8:38Speaker 1: go over to to a vacation spot over here, we
- 8:41Speaker 1: float back over to it. But you know, I'm still
- 8:43Speaker 1: getting old. I'm still going down. But the descent because
- 8:48Speaker 1: I've opened my mind to God, the parachute has slowed
- 8:53Speaker 1: my descent. And now I'm rocking back and forth. But
- 8:57Speaker 1: I ain't spending out of control no more. You know,
- 8:59Speaker 1: I'm able to enjoy the view now. You know, when
- 9:03Speaker 1: you jump out that plane and you and you pull
- 9:05Speaker 1: that cord and it don't work, you ain't looking at
- 9:07Speaker 1: the view no more. You're thinking of only one thing.
- 9:10Speaker 1: How can I slow this down? When now I'm able
- 9:12Speaker 1: to enjoy the view. I'm able to see all the
- 9:15Speaker 1: beautiful things on the horizon that God has for me.
- 9:19Speaker 1: I'm able to see all the beautiful things around me
- 9:22Speaker 1: that He's provided for me over these years. Because I've
- 9:25Speaker 1: slowed my descent. I used my mind like a parachute.
- 9:31Speaker 1: It works better when it's open. Open your mind to God,
- 9:35Speaker 1: and so you can see the view, so you can
- 9:38Speaker 1: slow the descent, so you can stop the out of
- 9:41Speaker 1: control freefall that you've been on, that you can get
- 9:44Speaker 1: your life together and see everything out on the horizon
- 9:48Speaker 1: that God has for you. You know, it turned out
- 9:50Speaker 1: to be a very true statement your mind. If you
- 9:53Speaker 1: use it like a parachute, it works better when it's open. Y'all,
- 9:57Speaker 1: you're listening to show, Ladies and gentlemen. This is it.
- 10:03Speaker 1: It's the morning time. It's time for the greatest show
- 10:06Speaker 1: in the world to begin. This is Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:10Speaker 1: Make no mistake about it. Showy Strawberry. Hey, good morning, Steve, Yes,
- 10:15Speaker 1: Carla Perell, the good morning. What's happening crew? That damn
- 10:21Speaker 1: junior boy morning? Everybody? Morning up, nephew, Tommy, ya ya
- 10:28Speaker 1: in the building, the building. Yeah, we're here this Tuesday,
- 10:36Speaker 1: this debate day. Baby. I think that you're going to
- 10:41Speaker 1: see who's the better public speaker. I think you're going
- 10:46Speaker 1: to see who's a better leader. I think you're going
- 10:50Speaker 1: to see who's the smartest. Because this foolishness that this
- 10:55Speaker 1: Trump is talking about already he wants a drug test
- 10:59Speaker 1: right afterwards and all this here, y'all, don't play sports party.
- 11:04Speaker 1: Ain't no performance enhancing drugs, none of that. Dog. Hey,
- 11:10Speaker 1: if I was buying you know what I would say,
- 11:11Speaker 1: You know if I say, if I was buying. I
- 11:13Speaker 1: take a drug test, if you take a lot of
- 11:16Speaker 1: test to test, ready, right, and that's what he should do.
- 11:22Speaker 1: Show her taxes. I take a dog. We've been paying
- 11:31Speaker 1: more than him. I told y'all, you said, I'm just
- 11:36Speaker 1: saying it is you said before. He cannot show them taxes.
- 11:42Speaker 1: He cannot show him because what you're going to find
- 11:45Speaker 1: out is that we've all paid more taxes than he had.
- 11:49Speaker 1: And he's a self proclaimed billion now, which he's really not,
- 11:52Speaker 1: but he's gonna say that. Well, it doesn't look like
- 11:56Speaker 1: he's too much of anything. The way he ran these
- 11:58Speaker 1: businesses and all that success. Yeah. Yeah, the country is
- 12:10Speaker 1: in debt right now, a huge debt that he has created.
- 12:15Speaker 1: He's created a huge debt. But that's the way he
- 12:18Speaker 1: ran all his businesses, right, right, yeah, yeah, so much
- 12:23Speaker 1: more and more and right and ran and stuff. You're right,
- 12:27Speaker 1: And that was part of the reason people went with
- 12:30Speaker 1: him for the last election, Steve, because they said he
- 12:33Speaker 1: was such a good business man, maybe he could run
- 12:35Speaker 1: the country. How much that um, Junior, huh? The day
- 12:44Speaker 1: is you get ready if it's your favorite group Joe
- 12:50Speaker 1: to see okay, right, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's a
- 12:57Speaker 1: good question though it is day. All right, that's a
- 13:01Speaker 1: damn good question. Let Junior know that have your birthday
- 13:07Speaker 1: DV DV like you do. Yeah, a member of the group.
- 13:14Speaker 1: You know that, Junior? How come your ain't old zoom?
- 13:16Speaker 1: I am za, Yes, there you go. Yeah, how to
- 13:23Speaker 1: get the gallery? Well, you know who is not on

- 13:34Speaker 1: you're ready for the asking, got precious where you can't
- 13:38Speaker 1: be on zoom. We're gonna ask the cloth the chief
- 13:41Speaker 1: Love Officer coming up right after this. You're listening to
- 13:46Speaker 1: morning show, I'm now for ask the clo. Before we
- 13:50Speaker 1: left out, we were just letting Junior know that DeVante
- 13:53Speaker 1: swing from its birthday today. Hey my money yea in
- 14:01Speaker 1: my cup? Yes, well it's time now for I asked
- 14:10Speaker 1: the cello. If you're done, Steve Hart, all right, this
- 14:13Speaker 1: one is from Kenny and Toledo. Kenny says, I've been
- 14:16Speaker 1: divorced for three years, but my ex wife still has
- 14:19Speaker 1: access to me whenever she wants to have sex. I
- 14:22Speaker 1: set it up that way to keep the peace and
- 14:24Speaker 1: keep her out of my business. But I really did
- 14:27Speaker 1: it because she's so good at what she does. I
- 14:30Speaker 1: show up, we have amazing sex, and then I leave.
- 14:35Speaker 1: Every time I leave her, I have to tell myself
- 14:38Speaker 1: that marriage with her was terrible, even if the sex
- 14:41Speaker 1: was amazing. I want to break this cycle, but she's addictive.
- 14:45Speaker 1: How can I move on, forget about it and go
- 14:49Speaker 1: on with my life. She still let you come by
- 14:58Speaker 1: it and you and just leave. Include it's incredible, boy,
- 15:06Speaker 1: Jack Potton, but the marriage was terrible. Now. I don't
- 15:11Speaker 1: know how you doing that, because once you terrible to me.
- 15:15Speaker 1: I don't want nothing to do with you. I am
- 15:19Speaker 1: no law, so you better than most. But I don't
- 15:23Speaker 1: know what to tell you. Because it's sexually amazing. Yeah,
- 15:28Speaker 1: so what doesn't that count for something? Sello? Hell? Yeah?
- 15:36Speaker 1: I mean I married the woman, so that was love.
- 15:39Speaker 1: Maybe there's still a connection then, obviously it is. But
- 15:43Speaker 1: the marriage. If y'all could fix that part, you be
- 15:46Speaker 1: in hog heaven. Yeah. I don't know what the I
- 15:49Speaker 1: don't know what the party is. You can't fix if
- 15:51Speaker 1: it's all that, damn good, let's right it out just right,
- 15:57Speaker 1: all right? Developing Alabama said I'm twenty and I recently
- 16:01Speaker 1: transferred Deville. Yeah, de Ville and Alabama says, I'm twenty.
- 16:09Speaker 1: I recently transferred to a new college and started dating
- 16:12Speaker 1: a football player. I don't have many friend jets, so
- 16:15Speaker 1: I'm usually alone and with this guy, random females have
- 16:19Speaker 1: been coming up to me to warn me about being
- 16:21Speaker 1: seen with him because his ex girlfriend is crazy. I
- 16:25Speaker 1: asked him about the x and he said she graduated
- 16:28Speaker 1: and moved away. I forgot about it until the other day.
- 16:31Speaker 1: I woke up and my front tires were slashed. My
- 16:34Speaker 1: roommate told me it was a message from the x AM.
- 16:37Speaker 1: I supposed to believe that, believe that she's stalking us?
- 16:41Speaker 1: Or could it just be a coincidence in random crime?
- 16:48Speaker 1: Mad have told you she crazed, she didn't find where
- 16:52Speaker 1: you live, slashed all your time? How she moved away?
- 16:56Speaker 1: So are they always come back away cars and airplane tickets?
- 17:02Speaker 1: It's true. I think crazy people fly in COVID. He's saying, COVID. Yeah,
- 17:10Speaker 1: they don't give it that. Crazy people don't care sitting
- 17:12Speaker 1: up on the plane with no mask. That's not allowed.
- 17:18Speaker 1: But do you think she moved away or he lied? Yeah? Well,
- 17:21Speaker 1: I mean she might have moved away, but they come back.
- 17:23Speaker 1: Moving away just mean you left college, right, you'd be
- 17:28Speaker 1: our way. She didn't drove back. Something's happening. Well, you
- 17:32Speaker 1: gotta get your ties fixed. A's for show. You don't
- 17:35Speaker 1: know who it is exactly, but crazy people do want
- 17:38Speaker 1: you to know it was them. Yeah, attenion at the
- 17:45Speaker 1: mystery will be Yeah, somebody's telling something. Yeah, hello, random
- 17:51Speaker 1: crime though, is it me you're looking for? They liked
- 17:57Speaker 1: that attention all right. Steve see Charles in Atlanta says,
- 18:01Speaker 1: I've been married for five years and we own a
- 18:04Speaker 1: mobile detailing business that is doing very well. My wife
- 18:08Speaker 1: hasn't worked outside the home since we got married because
- 18:11Speaker 1: we started our family right away. My wife is a
- 18:14Speaker 1: licensed realtor, and her brokerage firm has offered her excellent
- 18:18Speaker 1: perks to return to work since it's the perfect time
- 18:21Speaker 1: to buy and sell real estate. She says she doesn't
- 18:24Speaker 1: plan to return to work for at least five more
- 18:27Speaker 1: years in a marriage. I thought couples decided on these
- 18:31Speaker 1: types of things together. Am I wrong to want her
- 18:34Speaker 1: to contribute to the household? Should it all fall on me?
- 18:38Speaker 1: Oh no, dog, Oh no dog. You ain't wrong for
- 18:41Speaker 1: wanting her to contribute to the household. But if she
- 18:46Speaker 1: don't want to contribute to her. How are you going
- 18:48Speaker 1: to make her go to work? This needs would have
- 18:52Speaker 1: been at this conversation. No, I don't know what to
- 18:56Speaker 1: tell you. Know, you started a family right away, your
- 18:58Speaker 1: mobile business is doing super good, and now you won't
- 19:01Speaker 1: hurt a chip in. But I mean, you know, bro,
- 19:04Speaker 1: I don't know. That's up to the individual family. How
- 19:06Speaker 1: y'all want to handle that? Shouldn't she want to chip
- 19:10Speaker 1: in if that's the requirement to be your wife? And
- 19:15Speaker 1: if that's you know, yeah, I mean, because she's coming
- 19:19Speaker 1: back in five years, take it a lead, some more armor,
- 19:23Speaker 1: all in rags? You need some for ye. The baby
- 19:26Speaker 1: gonna be ten and the business is doing well. What
- 19:30Speaker 1: is the problem. We don't have a different president out
- 19:34Speaker 1: of office? Yeah, five year A lot gonna happen in
- 19:37Speaker 1: five for another election. What she's doing now? Yeah, I
- 19:44Speaker 1: can't make I don't know what to tell you to
- 19:46Speaker 1: make a go to work part. Now, I don't know
- 19:48Speaker 1: how to do that for you. I don't hanging that dog. Okay,
- 19:54Speaker 1: Well should it all fall on me? He says, dog
- 20:00Speaker 1: Mine don't work either? What I like mine not working?
- 20:06Speaker 1: To be honest with you, I like that don't matter
- 20:09Speaker 1: if I like being able to I like being able
- 20:11Speaker 1: to provide it. You don't like enough. She ain't working.
- 20:18Speaker 1: I ain't seen her look for a job, Marjorie put
- 20:23Speaker 1: in no damn applications of that. Ain't asked about, no
- 20:27Speaker 1: positions been in the one as. I ain't seen her
- 20:33Speaker 1: ask nobody asked about. Nothing about family, fusing spot, open
- 20:38Speaker 1: down their phone dog, He ain't hope nothing. All right, Well,
- 20:48Speaker 1: there you go. Five years, she'll be back into it, okay,
- 20:51Speaker 1: and until then, all right, coming up next, thank you
- 20:55Speaker 1: Cielo coming up next, and a few times he's run
- 20:57Speaker 1: that prank back. Right after this, you're listening. Stry Morning
- 21:02Speaker 1: Show coming up at the top of the hour and
- 21:05Speaker 1: Entertainment News. We'll talk about the creative get your booty
- 21:09Speaker 1: to the polls Atlanta stripper campaign. I've watched it thirty
- 21:14Speaker 1: times and I'm telling you it really it really drives
- 21:20Speaker 1: me to the polls. I'm just plus people are unfollowing
- 21:23Speaker 1: the rock on social media after he endorsed Joe Biden.
- 21:27Speaker 1: We'll talk about all of these stories at the top
- 21:29Speaker 1: of the hour, but right now it is the nephew
- 21:31Speaker 1: here with run that prank back? What you got for us? Now?
- 21:35Speaker 1: Something that President Trump can look forward to today's tidle
- 21:39Speaker 1: lives garnish your wages. I like it. Let's go cat dog. Hello,
- 21:49Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach a ya. My name is from
- 21:54Speaker 1: the District Attorney's office. Yes, Hi, How are you giving
- 21:58Speaker 1: you a call today? Man? I'm trying to get some
- 21:59Speaker 1: updates from you. Your husband, mister is he uh still
- 22:04Speaker 1: not working at this point? No? So okay? How long
- 22:08Speaker 1: has he been out of work so far? Ma'am? Could
- 22:10Speaker 1: you could you give me an update on this the
- 22:12Speaker 1: year January? Okay? All right, here's what we're having. The
- 22:16Speaker 1: problems that we're having. You have a son, I think
- 22:20Speaker 1: it's his name is as well, fourteen years old, am
- 22:23Speaker 1: I right? Okay? The child support is not being paid
- 22:28Speaker 1: for from mister for the for mister young and then
- 22:32Speaker 1: we're trying to get this thing rectified. Now. The problem
- 22:35Speaker 1: that we're going to have, and the reason why we're
- 22:36Speaker 1: giving you a call is considering that your husband hasn't
- 22:40Speaker 1: worked since the first of the year. And I haven't
- 22:42Speaker 1: done the research yet. I'm just I'm just not pulling
- 22:45Speaker 1: up your file. I haven't done the research to see
- 22:46Speaker 1: how many months in the rears he is on child
- 22:49Speaker 1: support just started once he lost his chime. Okay, well,
- 22:56Speaker 1: the problem that we're going to have is they're gonna
- 22:58Speaker 1: start taking h child support actually, and I hate to
- 23:03Speaker 1: give you this news out of your check until I
- 23:06Speaker 1: don't understand how that so, because I have my own kids.
- 23:09Speaker 1: I understand that. I understand, But they're gonna be garnishing
- 23:11Speaker 1: your check, ma'am until this until your husband can get
- 23:15Speaker 1: this thing back on its feet and get it rectified
- 23:17Speaker 1: and get him up to parts for of all the
- 23:19Speaker 1: payments that are hurt or not. And when will this
- 23:21Speaker 1: be taking place? Because if that's the case, I'm not
- 23:23Speaker 1: gonna be working because that's not gonna happen. I have
- 23:26Speaker 1: my own children, so I don't understand how it is
- 23:28Speaker 1: that for self, I don't don't have anything to do
- 23:31Speaker 1: with child for it or anything like that. And if
- 23:33Speaker 1: that's the case, I'm not gonna be working as a
- 23:35Speaker 1: right now. The garnishing of the check is gonna come
- 23:37Speaker 1: from you and you are at the hospital. Correct, No,
- 23:40Speaker 1: that's not it's not where you work. I'm not gonna
- 23:42Speaker 1: be working as of right now. That's what I just
- 23:45Speaker 1: teld you. So y'all do whatever you have to do.
- 23:47Speaker 1: And how do whatever I have to do on my end? Okay,
- 23:49Speaker 1: well hold on it. You're willing to quit your job,
- 23:51Speaker 1: I'm not understanding this if you're sure of white, because
- 23:54Speaker 1: I'm not going to be taking care of someone else's
- 23:56Speaker 1: kids and I have my own, so how that's right?
- 23:58Speaker 1: So somebody else can take care my eyes then because
- 24:01Speaker 1: I'm not going to be doing it, you're so right?
- 24:03Speaker 1: All right? Well, I mean I'm just say, you know,
- 24:04Speaker 1: don't I don't want you to be upset with you.
- 24:06Speaker 1: I don't want you to be upset with me. I
- 24:08Speaker 1: can be able to contact you, Okay, you know I'm
- 24:11Speaker 1: gonna I'm gonna let you know this. It's a bit
- 24:13Speaker 1: of information. You're still gonna if you're quitting your job. Man,
- 24:17Speaker 1: you guys are still gonna be liable for the child support. Okay,
- 24:21Speaker 1: well that's fine, not you guys, because it's not my children, sir. Okay,
- 24:25Speaker 1: it's not you guys. He will be liable okay, because
- 24:30Speaker 1: I don't. I mean, can I stept you hold one
- 24:32Speaker 1: moment because I need to stemp outside if that's okay,
- 24:35Speaker 1: or if there's a number I can contact you back? Okay,
- 24:37Speaker 1: are you able to step outside? Right now. Um, yes,
- 24:40Speaker 1: but I'm gonna get on the elevator and it's kind
- 24:42Speaker 1: of kind of so call. Okay, let's do this. Why
- 24:44Speaker 1: don't you step outside and I'll wait for you to call.
- 24:47Speaker 1: Give me about forty five seconds, but I'm gonna give
- 24:49Speaker 1: a call to my manager on this situation. Okay, please, sir,
- 24:53Speaker 1: all right, thank you? Hello, okay, missus, yes, all right
- 25:00Speaker 1: again from the district Attorney's office. Okay, you can hear
- 25:03Speaker 1: me now, yes, I can? Can you hear me? Yes, ma'am,
- 25:05Speaker 1: I sure can. Now, let's get to the bottom of everything.
- 25:07Speaker 1: I couldn't get my manager on the phone, but I'll
- 25:10Speaker 1: keep trying. I just want to know. I mean, that's
- 25:14Speaker 1: I'm just as men. I know you are, and I
- 25:17Speaker 1: hate to be so short with you, but I don't
- 25:20Speaker 1: understand because we're not even getting enough. Ain't come coming
- 25:23Speaker 1: in as of right now. And you're speaking of I
- 25:25Speaker 1: have three children that I'm struggling to take care of.
- 25:28Speaker 1: All my owners somebody from the district but and you're
- 25:34Speaker 1: speaking of that she's going to be deducting money from
- 25:36Speaker 1: gonna sha my check for his child's worth. What's your something?
- 25:41Speaker 1: What's your name? Man? Who is there someone else I
- 25:44Speaker 1: need to speak with. No, we're on the phone I have.
- 25:47Speaker 1: That's my sister taking care of me. We're probat of
- 25:50Speaker 1: the District Attorney County, ma'am. Yeah, Shelle office, the child
- 25:58Speaker 1: support service. She works with the child support Okay, man,
- 26:02Speaker 1: speak with you. Let me speak with your sister. Man,
- 26:05Speaker 1: So what do I mean, how is this going to
- 26:07Speaker 1: be done? Because that's not gonna leave me to Cassaby
- 26:10Speaker 1: to support my own kids. Well, I mean in my
- 26:13Speaker 1: own home. I understand that. You know, maybe this is
- 26:16Speaker 1: a problem with having a person hanging around. Not a
- 26:19Speaker 1: person has raised the seat about his kids all their life.
- 26:23Speaker 1: This is a jealous mother that decided to opt them
- 26:26Speaker 1: eighteen years that she wanted to us because that's the
- 26:35Speaker 1: support order. That's our support order. What what in the
- 26:39Speaker 1: hell is going on with those people in the background? Hello,
- 26:44Speaker 1: this nephew times it didn't hit the fan. No, I
- 26:48Speaker 1: couldn't get to go out with her. Sister was there.
- 26:50Speaker 1: Don't say nothing to him? Made her get off the phones.
- 26:52Speaker 1: I need you to call on three ways. They was
- 26:54Speaker 1: calling somebody. They probably calling downtown, gonna get themselves in
- 26:57Speaker 1: mo trouble. Okay, I'm gonna try to call you back. Hut.
- 27:01Speaker 1: What's wrong? I called you back? Hut. I tell you
- 27:03Speaker 1: about it. I know you want You're gonna talk to
- 27:06Speaker 1: her right now? Who is this? And I told you
- 27:09Speaker 1: you're gonna pay this child support, not me get the

- 27:14Speaker 1: I'm gonna pay this, hola. You're gonna make me. You're
- 27:19Speaker 1: gonna make me whip your behind this money. Tell him?
- 27:22Speaker 1: You will find out who he is? You want to
- 27:23Speaker 1: you want to talk it to my lawyer? Yeah? I
- 27:26Speaker 1: want to. Where is your You don't have a lawyer?
- 27:28Speaker 1: You know, Bo, you don't have one because I know who?
- 27:31Speaker 1: Don't tell who happens? Harvey? You got my novel behind
- 27:33Speaker 1: They have to for your job and we have to
- 27:39Speaker 1: go to who is this? This nephew? Timing from Steve
- 27:44Speaker 1: Harvard morning. Ya ya just gotta frank Bob baby, don't
- 27:56Speaker 1: pay for this? Y't calling the food is well? You
- 28:12Speaker 1: just found fise you be a black male because all
- 28:18Speaker 1: out I gotta ask. I gotta ask all y'all something.
- 28:24Speaker 1: What is the baddest radio show in the land. I've
- 28:32Speaker 1: never had my wages on hand wages hell y anything.
- 28:41Speaker 1: You ain't ever had had my wages, I wasn't bad.
- 28:51Speaker 1: What job was this? When I worked at a general
- 28:53Speaker 1: Electric and I want nothing that I could do about it? Yeah,
- 28:56Speaker 1: they took it out taxes. That's what's gonna happen to Downald.
- 29:01Speaker 1: He ain't even got to worry. As soon as you
- 29:03Speaker 1: find out where all that money he got to buy
- 29:05Speaker 1: the planes and ma law going all that mencies and
- 29:09Speaker 1: find out this alone. And when they find out that
- 29:11Speaker 1: where that loan came from out the country. All right,
- 29:18Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour, Entertainment News.
- 29:21Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show,
- 29:27Speaker 1: an entertainment news. What do you guys think of the
- 29:30Speaker 1: stripper campaign? It's called get your Booty to the Polls.
- 29:33Speaker 1: I know you guys have seen it. Come on, are
- 29:35Speaker 1: you standing up a standing ovation? I am standing on
- 29:38Speaker 1: top of my studio ship. Yes. The get Out and
- 29:43Speaker 1: Vote campaign was created by a group of Atlanta strippers.
- 29:47Speaker 1: The promo features women who work and dance at different
- 29:50Speaker 1: clubs in the atl The ad is targeting men who
- 29:54Speaker 1: are undecided about voting, So when the ad the dancers
- 29:58Speaker 1: are polled dancing, of course, are twerking, and some of
- 30:01Speaker 1: them even have the word vote written on their Yes.
- 30:04Speaker 1: It was I'm telling yeah, yes anyway if you read
- 30:11Speaker 1: it back with sad anyway. The ad starts off with
- 30:21Speaker 1: the strippers dancing and then a dancer says, now that
- 30:23Speaker 1: I've got your attention. Then, as the video continues, the
- 30:27Speaker 1: dancers give reasons why people should get out and vote.
- 30:30Speaker 1: I love this. Angela Gomes, producer and director of the video,
- 30:33Speaker 1: told Newsweek their demographic for the ad is people who
- 30:36Speaker 1: don't vote, people who sit around and look at YouTube,
- 30:39Speaker 1: people who don't feel like their vote matters, and it
- 30:41Speaker 1: was all important to remind them and that this is
- 30:45Speaker 1: more important than just the president on the ballot. I
- 30:47Speaker 1: love that. That was a brilliant idea. I mean, after
- 30:50Speaker 1: that was just to heal I'm Joe Biden, and I
- 30:53Speaker 1: you know the message, you know, well, you know, it
- 31:00Speaker 1: kind of sickened me a little bit. You know the
- 31:03Speaker 1: fact that I had looked at it forty six times
- 31:08Speaker 1: to get the message, and I just thought, you know,
- 31:11Speaker 1: obviously it took me too long to get the message
- 31:16Speaker 1: that morning, so you know, I was saying, you know,
- 31:18Speaker 1: I thought they could have been a little bit more
- 31:20Speaker 1: clear about it. But by the fiftieth time I watched it,
- 31:23Speaker 1: I got I just thought they could have got to
- 31:26Speaker 1: it a little bit quicker. But you know, at the
- 31:29Speaker 1: fifty times I went on, got the message. You know, well,
- 31:32Speaker 1: I guess I will just gonna get my booty to
- 31:35Speaker 1: the poles, you know, And if they could just be
- 31:39Speaker 1: at the pole I go to when I vote, that
- 31:41Speaker 1: would be nice too, if they out signed. You know what,
- 31:46Speaker 1: they did a great job of delivering the message because
- 31:47Speaker 1: when the one Trip said you know you're gonna say
- 31:50Speaker 1: things like muff vo don't come, I thought that was
- 31:52Speaker 1: really I said, oh, information, don't come, don't say stuff
- 31:59Speaker 1: like buff vote, don't go. In other entertainment news the
- 32:07Speaker 1: Rock Dwayne, they were pretty articulate about it too. They were,
- 32:11Speaker 1: I mean, it was brilliant, really, I commanded the sisters.
- 32:14Speaker 1: Actually I do, man, I really could. And if you
- 32:17Speaker 1: click the link, it takes you to register to vote.
- 32:20Speaker 1: So that's ahead. Girl. Well let me see, let me
- 32:23Speaker 1: see because rewind, I never back to me Fellas because
- 32:32Speaker 1: because I had watched it so many times, it had
- 32:35Speaker 1: suddenly for my phone, like if I watched a video
- 32:38Speaker 1: so many times. No, it becomes my wallpaper. Oh, I'm
- 32:46Speaker 1: gonna tell you about The Rock. Dwayne Johnson. Of course,
- 32:49Speaker 1: he's a self proclaimed independent. Well now, he said, um, well,
- 32:53Speaker 1: he's voted for in the past, for Republicans and Democrats,
- 32:58Speaker 1: but recently he made his first public endorsement for Joe
- 33:01Speaker 1: Biden and Kamala Harris and The Rock told both Joe
- 33:04Speaker 1: Biden and Kamala on the Zoom call, take a listen.
- 33:08Speaker 1: That's the power of your vote, your voice. I love
- 33:12Speaker 1: that Senator Harris said that, and I also love that
- 33:15Speaker 1: she spoke about making sure that we have a solid
- 33:17Speaker 1: plan in place because we as Americans, we've got to
- 33:20Speaker 1: be prepared come election day. I also appreciate Vice President
- 33:24Speaker 1: Biden quoting the great John Lewis, voting is our sacred
- 33:28Speaker 1: obligation and it is the answer to outcomes, and we
- 33:32Speaker 1: have to own our outcomes. I love that line, owning
- 33:35Speaker 1: our outcomes. All right, Well yeah, yeah, very good, very stute.
- 33:40Speaker 1: But some of Rock's followers, Steve, are now mad at him.
- 33:44Speaker 1: They posted a lot of comments saying stay out of politics,
- 33:47Speaker 1: and they won't follow them anymore. They've unfollowed them. Okay, unfollowed.
- 33:52Speaker 1: You know what, people sicken me, man, because a person
- 33:54Speaker 1: is an athlete entertainer. They got to shut up in dribble,
- 33:58Speaker 1: shut up and tell yo jokes? Who are you? You
- 34:02Speaker 1: know the woman on Fox? Shut up and dribble. Why
- 34:05Speaker 1: don't you shut up and tell the facts? Right? How
- 34:10Speaker 1: about you shut up and tell the truth? You know? So, no, man,
- 34:16Speaker 1: it's not no stay out of politics. Every person in
- 34:20Speaker 1: this country should be in this politics. This is not politics.
- 34:27Speaker 1: This is our country and our life. Man. This ain't
- 34:31Speaker 1: got nothing to do with stay out of politics politics.
- 34:35Speaker 1: It's the bullcrap that he'd been doing to us for
- 34:37Speaker 1: four years, canceling doctor, trying to build a wall. Blue
- 34:46Speaker 1: power not black power, you know, I mean blue lives matter,
- 34:50Speaker 1: not Black lives matter. That here's politics. There's great people
- 34:57Speaker 1: on both sides. Can't be in a hate group and
- 34:59Speaker 1: be a great person. But since you're in a hate
- 35:03Speaker 1: group and you're voting for him, then you all right.
- 35:07Speaker 1: And the Rock had COVID his entire so they were
- 35:16Speaker 1: affected by what's going on in this pandemic. So you're
- 35:18Speaker 1: saying that he doesn't have a right too. He's an actor,
- 35:23Speaker 1: and people are talking about you're gonna unfollow him it's
- 35:26Speaker 1: not gonna change one thing in his life. So what
- 35:30Speaker 1: you won't follow him? You're really not important. And if
- 35:35Speaker 1: you upset, run over there, whip rock ass and see
- 35:37Speaker 1: what happened? Hello? Try that goes for you, doesn't it. Yeah,
- 35:46Speaker 1: if we would have been whooping ass, we wouldn't be
- 35:47Speaker 1: in in predicting me. We are that a lot of people.
- 35:51Speaker 1: As got a great story to tell you about my
- 35:55Speaker 1: grandson b J. Whenever we get a minute in the shop,
- 35:58Speaker 1: we come back, all right, coming up in twenty minutes
- 36:02Speaker 1: after the hour. First presidential debate is tonight in Cleveland.
- 36:05Speaker 1: We'll talk about that in Steve's story right after this.
- 36:08Speaker 1: You're listening to show, So tonight is the presidential debate
- 36:14Speaker 1: in Cleveland. We'll get to that in a moment. But Steve,
- 36:17Speaker 1: before we went to break, you wanted to tell us
- 36:19Speaker 1: about a story you have with your grandson. Okay, I'm
- 36:23Speaker 1: in a little trouble with my daughter. Okay, what happened?
- 36:29Speaker 1: What did you do? You did something? Well, you know,
- 36:33Speaker 1: I had my grandson in the car with me and
- 36:37Speaker 1: we took a ride. I had both my oldest grandsons,
- 36:40Speaker 1: Noah and BJ, in the car and I had him
- 36:43Speaker 1: in the back end car seats and I'm driving and uh,
- 36:48Speaker 1: what you're driving? Let's paint this picture then what you're
- 36:51Speaker 1: just driving the truck. I got a truck. I got truck,
- 36:55Speaker 1: and so I'm driving truck and I got him in
- 36:57Speaker 1: the back seat, and H I was trying to turn
- 37:04Speaker 1: this corner and a dude kind of cut me off.
- 37:09Speaker 1: So I said something, So I'll tell you that in
- 37:15Speaker 1: a second. So I send them home and uh, Carly
- 37:23Speaker 1: has BJ in the back seat, and so she told me.
- 37:29Speaker 1: She said that I know he got this from you.
- 37:32Speaker 1: And so she's pulling into this parking spot and this
- 37:35Speaker 1: man cuts her off and she said, wow, how could
- 37:39Speaker 1: you do that? BJ in his car seats, leans up
- 37:44Speaker 1: over the back and said, don't get your ass. Well repeat,
- 37:55Speaker 1: my boy got all your dry leaves up in his
- 38:05Speaker 1: cos see, put his hand up in the window and
- 38:08Speaker 1: look back and said, don't get your ass for wob
- 38:18Speaker 1: Let me tell you something. I was so proud of him.
- 38:22Speaker 1: Cut your mom off like that man. So is that
- 38:25Speaker 1: what you told the guy who cut you off? Yeah? Yeah, yeah.
- 38:30Speaker 1: I didn't want to say it because I knew I
- 38:31Speaker 1: had to tell you that this one around now I said,
- 38:33Speaker 1: all right, man, all right, don't get your ass. I
- 38:38Speaker 1: ain't think back then taking notes, he said, oh okay
- 38:45Speaker 1: for your old baby with load rage. Yeah, Steve, that
- 38:52Speaker 1: is crazy. Let me get out this here, all right.
- 38:55Speaker 1: We'll hope, we hope Joe Biden has some of that
- 38:57Speaker 1: fire tonight. And during the Better Cleveland, it quote b
- 39:01Speaker 1: j yes, BJ yes, don't get your ash sat back down,
- 39:10Speaker 1: she said, Jess's comfortable. Yeah. I got that moment. He
- 39:14Speaker 1: owned it. He owned that moment. Yeah. So anyway, if
- 39:18Speaker 1: we have any poor news to Joe Biden, that's one
- 39:20Speaker 1: of him coming up at thirty four minutes after the hour,
- 39:23Speaker 1: the President's business empire, it's not as successful as he claimed.
- 39:28Speaker 1: We'll tell you all about it right after this. You're
- 39:31Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. What is going
- 39:36Speaker 1: on and trending political news. I'm sure you guys have
- 39:39Speaker 1: heard about this by now. According to the New York Times,
- 39:42Speaker 1: President Trump squandered millions and I mean millions of dollars,
- 39:47Speaker 1: and he faces crippling debt. The I R S is
- 39:50Speaker 1: auditing seventy two point nine million dollars tax refund Also,
- 39:55Speaker 1: since twenty fifteen, he has lost three hundred and fifteen
- 40:00Speaker 1: million dollars at his signature golf courses. We talked about
- 40:03Speaker 1: this yesterday. Trump only paid seven hundred and fifty dollars
- 40:08Speaker 1: in twenty sixteen and seventeen the president. This is a
- 40:13Speaker 1: one steve right here though. The President wrote off seventy
- 40:16Speaker 1: thousand dollars worth of hairstyles now for the apprentice, seventy
- 40:29Speaker 1: thousand dollars in hair stuff. He also has deductions, got
- 40:34Speaker 1: deductions on his plane and his residences. He wrote off
- 40:37Speaker 1: one hundred thousand dollars worth of silver and linen's. He's
- 40:41Speaker 1: personally responsible for four hundred and twenty one million dollars
- 40:44Speaker 1: in loans coming due in the next four years, meaning
- 40:47Speaker 1: leaders may have to decide whether to foreclothes on a
- 40:51Speaker 1: sitting president. WHOA, WHOA. I thought he was such a
- 40:56Speaker 1: great businessman. What happened? This man has been But if
- 41:01Speaker 1: you're looking at if you look at seven bankruptcies, Uh,
- 41:06Speaker 1: that's how he runs a business. He just borrows, borrows, borrows,
- 41:10Speaker 1: and runs his business and he writes off the losses.
- 41:15Speaker 1: They can't count income as loans. So when he takes
- 41:19Speaker 1: these loans, is he doing everything he claimed with the loans,
- 41:24Speaker 1: which I doubt, which is because you have to substantiate
- 41:27Speaker 1: your lifestyle at one point in time, You're gonna have
- 41:31Speaker 1: to say, I'm paying for this house my long ago
- 41:34Speaker 1: with this, and I'm playing I'm paying for this plane
- 41:37Speaker 1: with that. I mean, you're gonna have to say that.
- 41:41Speaker 1: You know, the government is not crazy man, That paperwork
- 41:45Speaker 1: is real, and I think he has some real, real
- 41:48Speaker 1: problems and if Americans want to know the truth about it,
- 41:52Speaker 1: it's pretty unpatriotic when you don't pay your taxes very much.
- 41:56Speaker 1: So said anything. Has Wesley Snipe said anything? Comment from
- 42:04Speaker 1: he needs no no, no, Wesley has to be quiet.
- 42:11Speaker 1: This is not this ain't no no, this ain't time
- 42:13Speaker 1: to get in this West. I don't know nothing. Well,
- 42:19Speaker 1: you know, federal taxes pays for the military that he
- 42:21Speaker 1: loves so much, the military. Federal taxes pays for bridges
- 42:27Speaker 1: and roads and wall walls service. But he said a
- 42:39Speaker 1: long time ago, I don't pay taxes because I'm smart. Mark. Yeah,
- 42:43Speaker 1: he said that debate sixteen. You sure did. But that's
- 42:47Speaker 1: why Democrats every presidential election is we want them to
- 42:51Speaker 1: pay that fair share because they are very much aware
- 42:54Speaker 1: of the loopholes. You know, we pay taxes, but you
- 42:59Speaker 1: don't because he's he's not only jumping through loopholes. They're
- 43:05Speaker 1: seeing me legal stuff going on. And there are a
- 43:10Speaker 1: lot of for rich. For the rich though there are
- 43:13Speaker 1: there are a lot of loop there are are loopholes.
- 43:16Speaker 1: So see when he becomes a private citizen, he got
- 43:20Speaker 1: has some issues. It sounds like he abusing the loophole
- 43:23Speaker 1: though he's sound like, well, I mean, he definitely is.
- 43:26Speaker 1: He definitely he's very abusive of it. He's taking advantage
- 43:29Speaker 1: of it in some cunning ways because he's got some
- 43:33Speaker 1: cunning people. But when you but when you shake it
- 43:36Speaker 1: all down, you know you're putting all this money into
- 43:39Speaker 1: these dummy companies and stuff, and the dumb the dummy,
- 43:44Speaker 1: the dummy companies have to you can't just say well,
- 43:47Speaker 1: writing off losses all these companies in the bible the
- 43:53Speaker 1: dummy soon or later. And in loans, they won't let
- 44:00Speaker 1: me get a thousand dollars on my credit card excluded
- 44:02Speaker 1: this grace. It doesn't make sense, doesn't I can't they
- 44:08Speaker 1: can't sent me and no talking about no, we can't
- 44:10Speaker 1: ague you a thousand dollars at this time? What the
- 44:13Speaker 1: bank didn't have any grant on his hair. Coming up,
- 44:20Speaker 1: the nephew will be in the building with today's prank
- 44:23Speaker 1: phone call right after this. You're listening to show coming
- 44:29Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, right about four
- 44:31Speaker 1: minutes after. It's my strawberry letter for today. The subject
- 44:34Speaker 1: is really hard for me to honor thy mother m
- 44:39Speaker 1: Right now. We'll get into that in a minute, but
- 44:41Speaker 1: right now the nephew is here with today's prank phone call.
- 44:45Speaker 1: What you got for us, nep Ah, We're going to
- 44:48Speaker 1: go a little swimming, y'all. This right here, naked lifeguard,
- 44:52Speaker 1: naked lifeguard, pick a little deep. Okay, everybody ready, let's
- 44:58Speaker 1: go quick. Hello. Hello, I'm trying to reach a carry. Yes,
- 45:05Speaker 1: this is carried Hi Carrie. My name is Oliver. Oliver.
- 45:09Speaker 1: You put in an application with the employment agency about
- 45:13Speaker 1: looking fortunate work as far as being a lifeguard. Oh yeah,
- 45:17Speaker 1: I did. Okay. Have you had much experience being a lifeguard? Yeah,
- 45:21Speaker 1: I've been doing this for a while out back, since
- 45:25Speaker 1: I was like eighteen, I got my CPR certification. I've
- 45:31Speaker 1: had as many as like two hundred people at one
- 45:35Speaker 1: time watching them. So I'm good. I'm good at what
- 45:38Speaker 1: I do. I love it. Very good, very good. Well,
- 45:41Speaker 1: I'll tell you what. I've looked over your application and
- 45:43Speaker 1: I've checked everything out thoroughly, and I'm very excited about
- 45:47Speaker 1: maybe getting you too. I don't know if you're familiar
- 45:50Speaker 1: with it, but public pool. It's actually in a subdivision.
- 45:54Speaker 1: There's two pools there. Are you familiar with Yeah, I'm
- 45:57Speaker 1: familiar with it. They're they're near where I live. Yeah, okay,
- 46:01Speaker 1: Well there's actually in the back of there's a gated
- 46:03Speaker 1: community and that is actually the particular property that I'm
- 46:08Speaker 1: talking about you coming out and working for us there
- 46:11Speaker 1: at the pool site. Uh, if we can get you
- 46:14Speaker 1: on Monday to Friday, We're gonna actually hire some some
- 46:17Speaker 1: more college students for for Saturday and Sunday. What do
- 46:21Speaker 1: you say, Oh, I say, okay, that sounds great money off, yeah, yeah, exactly.
- 46:28Speaker 1: Now we start off. Job actually pays twenty five dollars
- 46:32Speaker 1: an hour. Wow. You would be our head lifeguard, and um,
- 46:38Speaker 1: we would we would want you to be there from
- 46:40Speaker 1: you know, I mean if you start at twelve, we'd
- 46:42Speaker 1: actually like you to get there around eleven thirty, you know,
- 46:45Speaker 1: just just to be prepared and be the overseer and
- 46:48Speaker 1: make sure the other lifeguards get there on time, and
- 46:50Speaker 1: you know we'll go from there. Okay, Now, carry there's
- 46:53Speaker 1: only one catch that that actually comes along with this job.
- 46:57Speaker 1: We want you to work an additional uh for hours
- 47:00Speaker 1: from six to ten at night. But it's gonna pay
- 47:02Speaker 1: you fifty dollars per hour, so you'll make an extra
- 47:05Speaker 1: two hundred dollars. How do you feel about that? Man?
- 47:08Speaker 1: I feel good. I mean, with the recession and everything,
- 47:11Speaker 1: I could use that money right now, especially during the summertime. Okay,
- 47:16Speaker 1: now here's the deal. This is in a gated community,
- 47:18Speaker 1: like I told you before, but also it's gonna be
- 47:21Speaker 1: adults at night, and they are actually gonna be swimming nude. Yeah,
- 47:28Speaker 1: they're gonna be swimming nude. And what they ask is,
- 47:30Speaker 1: if they're gonna be swimming nude, they want to make
- 47:33Speaker 1: sure that the lifeguard that's protecting them is gonna be
- 47:36Speaker 1: nude as well. Okay, I'm a certified lifeguard, I'm CPR certified,
- 47:43Speaker 1: I'm a student. I've had other jobs, but nudity wasn't
- 47:48Speaker 1: on my resume and I understand that wholeheartedly. But we're
- 47:53Speaker 1: talking about you possibly making seventeen hundred and fifty dollars
- 47:56Speaker 1: a week. How do you feel about seventeen hundred and
- 47:58Speaker 1: fifty a week for your nursing cool? I'm sure that'll
- 48:00Speaker 1: that'll definitely pay for it throughout the entire summer. That
- 48:04Speaker 1: should be a big health shouldn't it. Yeah? But I mean,
- 48:09Speaker 1: I mean, are are you? How do you feel about
- 48:11Speaker 1: trying it for a few weeks and then you know,
- 48:14Speaker 1: how do you feel about that? I don't know, but
- 48:17Speaker 1: I mean, you're gonna watch it with some adults who
- 48:20Speaker 1: are actually just gonna be nude in the pool, and
- 48:23Speaker 1: you're nude as well, up on the big chair that
- 48:25Speaker 1: overwatches everybody. Seventeen fifty I don't seventeen fifty carry, you know,
- 48:35Speaker 1: I don't think I'm gonna be able to do that
- 48:38Speaker 1: seventeen fifty carry. We're talking about four hours of you
- 48:42Speaker 1: being nude along with some other people that are already knew. So,
- 48:45Speaker 1: I mean, what's the big deal? You know? What we
- 48:46Speaker 1: need you to do is come down. We're gonna do
- 48:49Speaker 1: some drills, some lifeguard drills to make sure that you're
- 48:51Speaker 1: definitely qualified. But we're gonna make sure that when you
- 48:54Speaker 1: do those you gotta be naked as well. Okay, what
- 48:57Speaker 1: what Why would I have to do some drill naked?
- 49:00Speaker 1: I'm on a ready a life bar. What do I
- 49:03Speaker 1: need to drive? And I understand all that, But in
- 49:05Speaker 1: order we for our particular property, we got to make
- 49:08Speaker 1: sure that you're actually prepared and ready. You know, I understand. Well,
- 49:12Speaker 1: that's the way it is, Carroy. We need you to
- 49:14Speaker 1: come down and do some drills. It's not gonna take
- 49:18Speaker 1: a long probably about a half hour. You come down,
- 49:20Speaker 1: you get undressed, you get in the pool, and we
- 49:22Speaker 1: make sure that you're qualified, um to swim, nude, to
- 49:26Speaker 1: handle to saving somebody's life, nude, the whole nine yards.
- 49:29Speaker 1: But I mean, what if my family come to that,
- 49:33Speaker 1: you know, carry I you know, I can't go back
- 49:36Speaker 1: and forth with you. I can't now. I know you
- 49:38Speaker 1: you you know. I looked at your resume, I looked
- 49:40Speaker 1: at what you were doing and what you're pursuing in life,
- 49:43Speaker 1: and I thought this would be a great opportunity for you.
- 49:45Speaker 1: But I can't be here. I mean, I can't do
- 49:47Speaker 1: that to my family. You can know. No, wait a minute,
- 49:50Speaker 1: hang on a second, now, you can't tell me you
- 49:52Speaker 1: can't do it. Now Oh yes, yes, I can't. You
- 49:56Speaker 1: get your down here in the morning so I can
- 49:58Speaker 1: get these drills done, and I want to make it
- 50:00Speaker 1: when you get here and getting this pool. You understand me?
- 50:03Speaker 1: Who the hell do you think you're talking to? Are
- 50:05Speaker 1: you some kind of Paul pimp? Life guirl? You'm the
- 50:08Speaker 1: resources hiring pimp. You're new timp in me. I don't
- 50:11Speaker 1: have to come him down there. If I want to
- 50:13Speaker 1: come down there, you gotta bring you think it out
- 50:15Speaker 1: here tomorrow and getting this pool and do the thrill.
- 50:18Speaker 1: Do you think you're talking too, I'm talking to you.
- 50:21Speaker 1: You get your more tomorrow and you do the thrill
- 50:23Speaker 1: you need to do. It's go get you a pima
- 50:25Speaker 1: and sing babywhitch because I'd be doing a new brastrat
- 50:32Speaker 1: for you all freaking I don't know them. I don't
- 50:35Speaker 1: know them people. I don't give it who you know? Now,
- 50:37Speaker 1: you get your down here and you take the job.
- 50:40Speaker 1: I'm not coming down that to y'all. Fu pull tomorrow
- 50:43Speaker 1: and swim noodle and life. Go ahead, noodle for a
- 50:46Speaker 1: bunch of runch. I don't know. You take your time,
- 50:50Speaker 1: So I'm trying to be nice to you when you
- 50:52Speaker 1: come my house. With that. She never stop. But because
- 50:55Speaker 1: I'm not that kind of a girl, you got me. Okay,
- 50:58Speaker 1: you need to gonna get you a Pamela and Thissen Baywatch.
- 51:01Speaker 1: You know deep she diving. I don't know what you need,
- 51:05Speaker 1: but I'm not what you need. You get your black
- 51:08Speaker 1: down here tomorrow. What I'm talking to you? Who you
- 51:12Speaker 1: think you're talking to? What I'm talking to you? What
- 51:15Speaker 1: do you think you're talking to? I got something I
- 51:18Speaker 1: want to say to you. You're listening? You know where
- 51:20Speaker 1: You've got a gray and stay because I'm about ain't
- 51:23Speaker 1: up this phone in your face right now. This is
- 51:25Speaker 1: nephew Tommy from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You just
- 51:30Speaker 1: got pranked by your girlfriend. I just see this pranks
- 51:41Speaker 1: you baby. Your girlfriend franks you all. When I see it.
- 51:45Speaker 1: She's gonna have one list float. I cannot believe she
- 51:50Speaker 1: did me. Like then, all right, I gotta ask you something, baby,
- 51:53Speaker 1: what is what is the baddest I'm talking about the
- 51:56Speaker 1: baddest radio show in the land, The Steam Harvey Morning.
- 52:02Speaker 1: So oh myna, get on down here tomorrow morning. Let's
- 52:14Speaker 1: get these drills out there, will Okay, that's what we
- 52:16Speaker 1: want to hear. The distress in her. No, I can't
- 52:25Speaker 1: do this to my family. That's just a really, really
- 52:28Speaker 1: decent young lady. You know she thought this whole thing out.
- 52:32Speaker 1: You know she needs the money, but she said, I
- 52:35Speaker 1: can't do this to my family. Man, they don't put
- 52:39Speaker 1: all these hopes and dreams in me. And I'm gonna
- 52:41Speaker 1: take my stupid ass down here naked, had some damn
- 52:44Speaker 1: swim pools. Somebody don't film something. No, I don't know
- 52:50Speaker 1: how you think you've been. It goes on way in
- 52:53Speaker 1: twenty twenty. Ain't nobody feeling that it's gonna be Take
- 53:00Speaker 1: what you proud? What's your says? You get on Baywatch? Babes? Right,
- 53:14Speaker 1: I just felt her in my in my spirit. I
- 53:16Speaker 1: tell her you felt her? Did you feel that I
- 53:19Speaker 1: did a good break? What? Don't worry about? Who? Nobody
- 53:26Speaker 1: needs so much? Your duties every day? We had to
- 53:31Speaker 1: carry you around on your shoulders every day. Yes, all right,
- 53:36Speaker 1: we gotta get out of here. Thank you, nephew. Coming
- 53:39Speaker 1: up next, Strawberry letters subject, it's really hard for me
- 53:42Speaker 1: to honor thy mother. We'll get into it right after this.

- 54:36Speaker 1: it is yeah. All right, Um, we're gonna switch gears
- 54:40Speaker 1: because it's time now for the Strawberry Letter. If you
- 54:43Speaker 1: need advice on relationships, dating, work, sex, parenting, and more,
- 54:47Speaker 1: please submit your Strawberry Letter to Steve Harvey FM and
- 54:50Speaker 1: click submit Strawberry Letter. We could be reading your letter
- 54:54Speaker 1: live on the air, just like we're gonna read this
- 54:56Speaker 1: one right here right now. Buggle up, hold on tight.
- 55:00Speaker 1: We got it for you here. It is the Strawberry
- 55:02Speaker 1: LETTA subject it's really hard for me to honor thy
- 55:06Speaker 1: mother Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm currently living with my mom
- 55:09Speaker 1: because of a back injury I got a few years ago.
- 55:13Speaker 1: I had to humble myself and ask her if I
- 55:15Speaker 1: could stay with her temporarily after I lost my job.
- 55:19Speaker 1: She said I could stay there until I found someone
- 55:21Speaker 1: that's crazy enough to hire me. She's not concerned about
- 55:24Speaker 1: my health at all. She calls me lazy when I'm
- 55:27Speaker 1: having a bad day and can't help her out around
- 55:29Speaker 1: the house. She's even told me if I didn't have
- 55:32Speaker 1: such saggy breasts, i'd have a man by now, and
- 55:36Speaker 1: I'd be his responsibility. It feels bad to know that
- 55:40Speaker 1: I'm not welcome in her home. I have a younger sister,
- 55:43Speaker 1: and when she comes over, I know she and my
- 55:45Speaker 1: mom were talking about me, but my sister never says
- 55:48Speaker 1: anything out of the way to me. I overheard my
- 55:51Speaker 1: mom telling my sister not to end up like me
- 55:53Speaker 1: and to keep myself up so she can get a man.
- 55:56Speaker 1: I've talked to my two aunts about my mom, and
- 55:59Speaker 1: all they ever tell me is to honor my mother
- 56:02Speaker 1: no matter what. I've talked to my mom's boyfriend about
- 56:05Speaker 1: her attitude, and he says that she's fine when she's
- 56:08Speaker 1: with him, So I must be the problem. I was
- 56:12Speaker 1: never unruly or caused any problems when I was younger.
- 56:15Speaker 1: My biological father says, my mother has always been a
- 56:18Speaker 1: little troubled, and I need to encourage her to get counseling.
- 56:22Speaker 1: He recently shared how bad their relationship was and that
- 56:25Speaker 1: maybe why she doesn't like me. I can't wait to
- 56:29Speaker 1: get back on my feet and get my own apartment.
- 56:31Speaker 1: I believe that cutting my mom off will be the
- 56:33Speaker 1: best thing for me. Right now. It hurts to deal
- 56:36Speaker 1: with this and not have any family support. How can
- 56:39Speaker 1: a mother be so cruel? Well, you know what I
- 56:45Speaker 1: think you're dealing with a case of your mom loves you,
- 56:49Speaker 1: you're her daughter, but she doesn't necessarily like you all
- 56:52Speaker 1: right right now? For whatever reason. Maybe there's some truth
- 56:56Speaker 1: and validity to what your biological father said, but he
- 56:58Speaker 1: didn't really say anything other than you know their relationship
- 57:02Speaker 1: was bad, and you can encourage your mom to get
- 57:05Speaker 1: some conflaint. You know that's not gonna go well. But anyway,
- 57:09Speaker 1: I just think, Yeah, your mom doesn't like you, and
- 57:11Speaker 1: that happens. That happens in relationships. You could be with
- 57:14Speaker 1: someone and love them, but not like them. And if
- 57:17Speaker 1: that wasn't enough, your sister seems to be her favorite,
- 57:21Speaker 1: and I'm sure that's got to hurt. But the best
- 57:24Speaker 1: thing you can do about it is to get yourself
- 57:27Speaker 1: together and move out. You've said you've been there for
- 57:30Speaker 1: a few years, or you're living with your mom because
- 57:36Speaker 1: of your back injury you got a few years ago,
- 57:38Speaker 1: and the fact that you lost your job, so your
- 57:40Speaker 1: mom is probably tired and ready for you to go.
- 57:43Speaker 1: I mean, and notice I didn't say anything about cutting
- 57:46Speaker 1: her off or anything like that, because I believe you
- 57:49Speaker 1: should continue to honor her, and you could do that
- 57:52Speaker 1: in your own apartment if you need to from a distance.
- 57:55Speaker 1: And your mom does not sound cruel. She doesn't sound cruel.
- 57:59Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, she said some crazy things, some hurtful things.
- 58:03Speaker 1: They're mean, but you know, I mean, I don't think
- 58:06Speaker 1: she's a cruel mom. You know, there there are a
- 58:08Speaker 1: lot of cruel moms out there, and I don't think
- 58:10Speaker 1: necessarily this is one. She didn't. You didn't say she
- 58:12Speaker 1: beat you when you were a kid or anything like that.
- 58:16Speaker 1: I just think, though, you need to stop running to
- 58:19Speaker 1: people talking about your mom to her sisters. You know,
- 58:24Speaker 1: they're obviously neutral in all of this. I didn't find
- 58:27Speaker 1: anywhere in your letter where you said you asked your
- 58:29Speaker 1: relatives if they would open up their homes and could
- 58:32Speaker 1: you move in there with them. You know you're with
- 58:35Speaker 1: your mom, so I think you should give your mom
- 58:38Speaker 1: credit for at least that for letting you live there.
- 58:41Speaker 1: I think she just wants you to get a man
- 58:43Speaker 1: and get out. Maybe you could go stay with one
- 58:45Speaker 1: of your relatives or your dad for a while, since
- 58:47Speaker 1: you know you've been running and talking to them. Steve,
- 58:53Speaker 1: there's so many things to unpack in this. Damn yeah
- 58:57Speaker 1: it is. Your mama said you could stay down until
- 59:00Speaker 1: you found someone crazy enough to hire you this. You
- 59:03Speaker 1: got a back injury a few years ago. You've been
- 59:06Speaker 1: in your mama's house a few years now, a long time.
- 59:09Speaker 1: You let me tell you what's wrong. Your mom's sick
- 59:11Speaker 1: of your ass. You're laying your ass around here. You
- 59:14Speaker 1: ain't working, you ain't making no contribution. Then on days
- 59:19Speaker 1: you feel bad, you don't even want to help clean
- 59:21Speaker 1: up at your own age. You an't here just eating groceries,
- 59:25Speaker 1: and you're steady getting thicker. Oh, it's in the letter,
- 59:33Speaker 1: you can I'm having a bad day. I can't help
- 59:35Speaker 1: around her. She even told me, if I didn't have
- 59:37Speaker 1: such saggy breast, i'd have a man by. Now, you've
- 59:39Speaker 1: been walking around the house all these years. You ain't
- 59:42Speaker 1: wearing no bra sitting up in here. You just walking
- 59:45Speaker 1: around every time she come here from work. You're just
- 59:47Speaker 1: sitting up there with your T shirt on, and she
- 59:49Speaker 1: noticing things, is thoughting to go down. Your back ain't
- 59:53Speaker 1: healing ended up, and I don't know, you know, look sad.
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: Now you're breasting, create mold back problems just to breast.
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: You're gonna say that letters real big in this letter,
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: I told you didn't have such segond better. How bad
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: is they say, Steve, don't you? I mean, I'm just
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: telling me what's in the letter. I ain't talking about
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: the woman. I don't know. I've never seen him, so
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: this ain't me talking about the woman. I'm just talking
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: about what's in the letter. Now, your mama said you
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: have a man by. Now, if your breath wasn't so
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: damn second d seg hold on, we'll have a hard two.
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: Steve's crazy response coming up in twenty three minutes after
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: be our today's subject it's really hard for me to
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: honor thy mother. We'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: You're listening Morning show, All right, Come on, Steve, let's
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: recap today's strawberry letter. The subject is really hard for
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: me to honor the mother. This woman is living with her.
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: Mama calls her back room she got a few years ago. No, damn,
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: too long. Now you had to humble her and ask it.
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: You stay with her temporarily after I lost my job, Timperrett,
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: a few years ago. Now, your mama tied on you.
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: Then she said you can stay there until somebody's crazy
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: enough to hide you. And she ain't concerned about your
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: health at all. She didn't open up a house. You
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: in there eating gross. She called you lazy when you're
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: having a bad day. Now, your aunts don't want to
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: help out. Are you going to therapy? Are you getting
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: any better? Are your own pain? Peel? What is it? Open?
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: What opened? Noa them? Mox is sitting? What's what? Worse?
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: You take it as you're trying something. Got to get
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: the hell out of hell. Then she told you if
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: you didn't have such saggy breash, you'd have a man
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: by now and I'd be his responsibility. Put a brawl
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: on from house. You just got a T shirt on
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: you laying back on the TV. Just stuff on east
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: side of you. And how bad is your breast sagging anywhere?
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: Let me ask you a question. If you had on
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: an apron, could you put them into pockets? That was
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: one line in the letter. One is bothering her mamma though,
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: that's the problem. Now we need to do something. Either
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: get a brawl or you're gonna do something, or get
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: a job. Now your ass can't work. Then your sister
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: come over and you know that theyre in there talking
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: about you, even though your sister ain't never said nothing
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: to you. But then you overheard your mama telling your
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: sister not to end up like me and to keep
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: yourself up so she can get a man. Now you
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: let yourself go. Now, I know the back injury. I
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: don't know the extent of it. So I feel for
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: your sister, my bad. I don't know how it is
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: rough when you have an injury incapacitate you and all
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: this here, But you let yourself go. Now, she know
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: you let yourself go. You already don't win, Obra. You
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: ain't combing your hair, You han't makeup on in three years.
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: You don't need Noel. You're there just eating groceries and
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: everything swelling up right in front of your mama's out.
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: Then you can win in there and ask your mama
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: boyfriend about her attitude. And then he say she fined
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: when she with him. So I want to be the problem.
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: I can't sleep with her? What you want him? And
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: say he talking to you what about you? But with
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: your sister and talking with you about the boyfriend, and
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: told his sister don't mess around and let yourself go
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: like your sister did, so you can get a man.
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: Now she talking about everybody. She wan't you gone? Yeah,
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: Then you told you father, your father who the divorce her.
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: Now he'd do like all old men to get the boys.
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: He's telling you that your mama trouble and you need
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: encourage her to get counsel. Then he started telling you
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: how bad dave relationship was and that may be why
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: she won't like you. Everybody keep going back to she
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: don't like you. I can't wait to get back on
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: my feet and get my own apartment. I believe that
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: cutting my mom off would be the best thing for me.
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: I think your mama think cutting off be the best
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: thing for her too. It hurts to deal with this
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: and not have any family support. How can a mother
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: be so cruel? But then you're talking about you. You
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: asked her sisters about it, and she said, the honor
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: your mother. All right, he is a deal. This could
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: be the push you need. Now. Look, I don't know
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: the severity of your injuries. I really don't, and I'll
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: admit that, But this could be the push you need.
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: You got to go get a job. You got to
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: get out of her house. She's sick of you. Don't
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: nobody like you over there. The sister don't like you
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: over there, The boyfriend don't like you over there, the
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: mamma don't like you over there, and your aunts don't
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: even like you over there. In a way, you block it,
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: and you will not wear a bra you have. You
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: will not leave that alone. You have got to put
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: a braw on and comb your damn hand west makeup,
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: because you need to get a man and be somebody
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: else's damn responsible. Not surely her mother is cruel. That's
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: where you're wrong. Verbal abuse is a form of cruelty.
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: And you know this, that's true. You know this, but
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: when when, but you here, Here's what I was thinking.
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: I mean, she is, she's verbally cruel. Now you're you're right,
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: you're right about that. I just I don't know. I
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: just think she's saying this stuff out of frustration her mama,
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: saying it out of frustrated her mama. Her ain't. Yeah,
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: same thing. Yeah, you're in here, you're eating foods. You
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: ain't making no contribution. You stay. You want somebody to
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: feel sorry for you, and don't. It's been years now.
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: Plus the thing about a back injury is nobody can
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: see a back jury. Ain't like you got your teeth
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: busted out. That's anytime you on your mouth, they go, man,
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: they busted in mouthful bad. Can't nobody see your back injury.
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: So all they thank you is you're being lady, but
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: they can't see that your ass don't head is broad
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: And I'm not gonna say this, no damn motion in
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: the letter that you're one line to scot to put
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: a brawl on because she'd admitioned it. Sitting over here
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: with your breast sad and that's why you can't get
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: a man. She's frustrated with her. Yeah, she was her
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: mama was sick of her. She is, she really is.
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: And you steady eating swelling, You ain't combing your hand
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: when you do go back to look, you ain't gonna
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: get your sweating. And she's going around the family talking
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: about her mother and she shouldn't do that. No, nobody
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: want to head all right? Post thank you Steve, post

- 1:09:46Speaker 1: They know nothing about this. I'm fenn to get my
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: second flag in six years. Boy, come on, le Bron
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: and man, we do have to do this. Man. I
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: want to give a shout out to Doc Rivers Man.
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: He was let go as the Clippers head coach. But Doc,
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: you did a great job, man, Doc rivers Man, you
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: will standing man, a great coach. Man. Don't worry about
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: you for to get another job if they let Doc
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: go because they thought this was his fault. They podcast
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: one missed all of them shots. Kawhi didn't show up
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: the last game, and neither did Paul George. That ain't
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: got nothing to do with coaching. Oh my god, Houston, Doc.
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: We'll have the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up. Right
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: after this, you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. According to
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: the Black Information Network, it is starting to look like
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: the cops in the Brianna Taylor case may have received
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: a bit more than the benefit of the doubt. A
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: ballistics report does not support the assertion from Kentucky Attorney
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: General Daniel Cameron that her boyfriend fired the shot that
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: hit a Louisville cop in the thigh. The Attorney General
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: Cameron has asserted that Kenneth Walker hit Sergeant Jonathan Mattingly.
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: Walker has acknowledged firing a warning shot thinking that intruders
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: were coming into their home. Walker owns a nine millimeter
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: pistol and the bullet that hit Mattingly was that caliber.
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: Cameron said that the officers involved in the incident had
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: all been issued forty caliber weapons. However, markings on the
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: bullet are inconclusive, meaning they can't show whether it came
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: from Walker's gun, and his attorney is now saying that
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: he has documents showing that Officer Brett Hankinson. Hankinson was
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: also issued Yep, you're right, steven nine millimeter. I promise
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: you they did. That's why the ballistics are inconclusive. Whatever
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: they say is inconclusive. It's because they don't want to
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: pin it on who they want to pin it on.
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: They lie. Yeah, and now saying that from the very beginning,
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: listen to this, I'm all a you got the ballistics,
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: don't lie. Ballistics are very conclusive ballistics. When a gun
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: travels out of a barrel of a gun, it's as
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: good as a fingerprint, And no two are the same.
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: You ain't fired no bullet in me and can't determine
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: what did it didn't come from that gun or not.
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: That's just a damn lie. Yeah, I talk about it,
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: talk about it, man. I hope she gets a law
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: I hope this juror gets a lawyer. And and just
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: I'm just gonna say it, somebody will pay a lot
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: of money for that story. They're under gag order right now,
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: so maybe the judger lifted and they can talk. I've
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: been with people under gag orders. They ain't gave it,
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: damn told its running running, their running their damn Well.
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: And then let's say, and the question is, did the
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: grand jury here about those twelve other witnesses that said
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: they did not care? Right then by the prosecutor, Yeah,
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: present what they want to determine to see if they're
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: gonna go forward with the case. If the prosecutors in
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: this case are on the police side, which is the
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: police who brings the cases to the prosecutors so they
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: can get them to see if they have a case
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: or not. How are you going to go against the
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: people that you work hand in hand with. Well, they
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: always are on law and order. We know that. So
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: truth is stranger than fiction. Yeah, this, this grand jury
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: is saying that Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron's he or
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: she we don't know, but they're selling them that you're
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: putting the responsibility on us with the charges. You're the
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: one that campaigned for the office. You're the one that
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: presented all of the stuff to us. So there are
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: some things that this grand juror wants to talk about.
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: So yeah, they're they're putting it the onus on them
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: evidence that they were presented, right, you know, say no, no,
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: that's right. Yeah, Justice Cameron gonna mess around and get
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: himself in some trouble. This is not over trust. No,
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: it's not right. You can go there and get McConnell
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: if you want to. You're gonna need some help they're
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: not gonna cover this black dude like they would a
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: white person. I'm just gonna, Yeah, you're fitting to find
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: out who you are in the scheme of things. You
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: let it get hot in that kitchen. People are gonna
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: start walking away from your partner. You're gonna you're gonna
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: you're gonna drink this kool aid by yourself. You're gonna
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: you're gonna have that moment where you black. Oh, all
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: of us have it. We all have it. All of
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: us have had He hasn't had it yet. Oh no, no, no,
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: we we've all had it. And you're gonna have it.
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: You're getting in. Thank you you you, you you there
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: if you want to. All right, um wow. Coming up,
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: we'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show and
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: some trending stories at twenty minutes after the hour. Right

- 1:16:15Speaker 1: you already know it's my group. I'm gonna miss that.

- 1:16:29Speaker 1: okay with Junior, Do you have another song that's one
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: of my favorites other than Forever My Ladyever, my lady,
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: Little help, A little help? Is that? That's it? All right? Junior?
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: Thank you? Hey. Birthday of the Steve Harvey Morning Show
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: coming up at thirty three minutes after the hour. Right
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: In entertainment news, what do you guys think of the
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: stripper campaign? It's called get your Booty to the polls.
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: I now you guys have seen it on are you
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: standing up? A standing over a top of my studio ship.
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: The get Out and Vote campaign was created by a
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: group of Atlanta strippers. The promo features women who work
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: and dance at different clubs in the atl The ad
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: is targeting men who are undecided about voting. So in
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: the ad, the dancers are polled dancing. Of course they're twerking,
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: and some of them even have the word vote written
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: on their yes. It was op telling yeah, yes anyway.
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: If you read it back with sir, the say e
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: op anyway. The ad starts off with the strippers dancing
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: and then a dancer says, now that I've got your attention. Then,
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: as a video continues, the dancers give reasons why people
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: should get out and vote. I love this. Angela Gomes,
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: producer and director of the video, told Newsweek their demographic
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: for the ad is people who don't vote, people who
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: sit around and look at YouTube, people who don't feel
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: like their vote matters, and it was all important to
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: remind them and that this is more important than just
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: the president on the ballot. I love that. That was
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: a brilliant idea. I mean, all I needed after that
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: was just to heal I'm Joe Biden, and I you
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: know message you know, well, you know, it kind of
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: sickened me a little bit. You know the fact that
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: I had looked at it forty six time to get
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: the message, and I just thought, you know, obviously it
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: took me too long to get the message that morning,
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: So you know, I was saying, you know, I thought
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: they could have been a little bit more clear about it.
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: But by the fiftieth time I watched it, I got
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: I just thought they could have got to it a
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: little bit quicker. But you know, to fifty times I
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: went on, got the message. You know, I guess I
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: will just gonna get my booty to the pole. And
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: if they could just be at the poll I go
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: to when I vote, that would be nice too, if
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: they outside. They did a great job of them the message,
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: because when the one trip said you know you're gonna
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: say things like muffle don't come, I thought that was
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: really I said, oh, information don't come. Don't say stuff
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: like my vote don't come, and other entertainment news, the
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: rock dayne they were pretty articulate about it too. You were.
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: I mean it was brilliantly. I commended the sisters. Actually
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: I do, I really commended. And if you click the link,
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: it takes you to register to vote. So that's a girl.
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: Because I have watched it so many times, it had
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: suddenly for my phone, like if I watched a video
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: so many times. No, it becomes my wall paper. Oh,
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: coming up, it's our last break of the day, last
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: break of the day, and we'll have, of course some
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: closing remarks from the one and only Steve Harvey at
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: forty nine minutes after. Right after this you're listening to
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: all right, guys, thirty five days now, we're counting you down.
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: Thirty five days left until election day on November third.
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: Please go to vote dot org. Please, baby, please, baby,
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: please go to vote dot org to get registered if
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: you're not already registered. If you're our registered, find out
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: where your polling place is, find out what you need,
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: study your BA let your sample ballot so you'll know
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: who to vote for. All of that. We need everything,
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: and make sure you plan to early vote. Steve, yeah,
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: you know where it is. I'm going to make sure
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: that I will have a sense of pride of having
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: been contributed to saving this country and our people from
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: four more years of this type of person. This President
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: of the United States has been the worst president in
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: my lifetime. I've seen a bunch of them, but in
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: my lifetime, this has been the worst. He said the
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: worst things, he's done the mode, the worst things. He's
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: acted in the worst way. He's perpetrated more crimes. He
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: has hired more people around him that have gone to
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: prison and committed crimes. It's impossible for me to believe
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: that of all the people around him that he put
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: in position when he claimed to drain the swamp, that
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: have gone to jail, for him to turn around and
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: then say he was draining the swamp only to fill
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: it with more criminal creatures than ever. No president has
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: had these many people in his cabinet or positions around
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: him have to go due time and been found guilty,
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: No friends, nothing. Do you know that if Barack Obama
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: had done any of this. Let me give you an example.
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: If Barack Obama has said he could grab a woman
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: by the pa do you think he would be president?
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: If Barack Obama's lawyer was sent to prison, do you
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: think he would not be impeached? Do you think if
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: Barack if Barack Obama had a woman come forward saying
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: that she had been taken to his apartment and saw
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: where Michelle Obama read her books at, you think he
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: would be president? Do you think if Barack Obama paid
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: off one hundred and thirty dollars thirty thousand dollars to
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: a porno star that he would still be president? Are
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: you kidding me? Are you kidding me? I am not
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: going to excuse this president from being decent because he
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: is white, no more than I would expect you to
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: excuse President in An Obama from being indecent because he
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: was black. Y'all tripping. You can have this too, facing
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: it to facing this that you're trying to pull off
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: against us and make us think it's okay. I am
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: asking all of my listeners to make sure that you
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: play a part in getting this thing. Writing for us,
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: for Brianna Taylor, for George Floyd, for Aubrey, for All,
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: for Blake, for the brother in that got shot in
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: the car on Facebook Live. I can't even constealio. I
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: can't remember all the name I can't remember all the
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: names for the woman who was ran over in Shaw
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: in Virginia, and he turned around and said, there's great
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: people on both sides. Y'all, y'all kidding me? Mine? Are
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: y'all kidding me? That this man can destroy the Docker program?
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: What you all do not know that his appointee that
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: he's trying to get elected to the Supreme Court is
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: going to destroy the Affordable Healthcare Act. And don't you
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: let the Republicans fool you one bit at all what
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: they are trying to get rid of his pre existing
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: conditions because it is costing the big boys in insurance
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: hundreds of millions of dollars. Don't you get it twisted
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: that they're talking about you with all of your damn
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: pre existing conditions. Everybody want to say, what did Barack
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: Obama do for black people? I'll tell you what he did.
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: He did a lot of stuff. He just didn't call
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: it black cause that Affordable Healthcare Act, that educational bills
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: he passed, that was for us. Y'all tripping. I can't
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: believe this country is tripping like this, But then again
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: I can. I can believe it's tripping like this because
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: this country has always tripped. There's a chance to get
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: it right. That are enough non African Americans who feels
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: that this thing has gone terribly wrong for black people
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: for a long period of time. That is, there's millions
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: of non African Americans who feel that way, who are
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: going to the support to the post to support that.
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: If we don't go to support ourselves, we can stop
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: talking about how much black lives matter, because until your
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: vote matters, they're not going to allow your black life
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: to matter. I'm telling you, they don't give a damn
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: about your life until you give a damn about your vote.
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: When you can remove them from their office, their position,
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: and their power, they will then know that your black
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: lives matter. Until then, they will not take the Sydney consideration.
- 1:27:01Speaker 1: We have got to vote. I will be a part
- 1:27:04Speaker 1: of the removal of this man from office, and I
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: hope he do don't go out fighting and willingly and
- 1:27:10Speaker 1: peaceful transition. I hope they drags ass out of it.
