After a shocking arson attack destroyed the 100-year-old grandstand just five months ago, the Monona County Fairgrounds is back on track — with a brand new grandstand ready for this year’s fair. Thanks to a massive community effort, board members, volunteers, and contractors pulled off the rebuild in record time, finishing final touches like electrical hookups and gravel walkways.
