  Hi. My name is Rob Allen. Recently, we Medicare
• 1:39
  portal need that was very special to us and
• 1:42
  impactful. We went to, meet the need and
• 1:46
  2 beds are requested. So we showed up with the beds and and we met
• 1:50
  mom and the family and found out that, you know, they had been reunified
• 1:54
  after, about 8 months of being apart and she was just
• 1:57
  trying to get her life restarted.
• 2:02
  You know, we looked around the apartment. There was really just, nothing.
• 2:06
  There was a couple of blankets and pillows on the floor where they had been
• 2:09
  sleeping and no furniture whatsoever.
• 2:16
  We asked her, you know, don't you think you need some other things? And she
• 2:19
  said, no, this will be great. You know, she didn't wanna ask for too much.
• 2:22
  So, you know, after talking for a while, we kinda said, you know, we'd
• 2:26
  love to to really bring you some furniture if we could.
• 2:29
  And, you know, we think that we have enough connections that
• 2:33
  God can make that happen.
• 2:37
  To make a long story short, I guess, we've been back 6
• 2:40
  times to see her and her kiddos and have made quite the connection
• 2:44
  with them. Really, appreciate, you know, what she's gone
• 2:47
  through. And as strange as it sounds now when we call her
• 2:51
  and she calls us by our first names, which just seems,
• 2:55
  like that makes the connection all the more real.
• 3:00
  Our very last time that we were able to, go over there,
• 3:03
  God blessed us with a Christmas tree and some ornaments with them.
• 3:07
  Just, you know, didn't cost us anything. Just God made it
• 3:11
  happen. So she was so appreciative, and, you know, we've really
• 3:14
  developed a relationship.
• 3:18
  On top of that, we had a businessman at our church who
• 3:22
  said, hey, do you know any families who would possibly wanna be
• 3:25
  adopted this Christmas? And and, of course, we said, yes. We'd love
• 3:29
  to tell you about this family. So we, you know, got permission
• 3:33
  from her, and he was able to go over there with his wife
• 3:36
  and, you know, with just a slew of Christmas presents just to bless
• 3:40
  them at Christmas. So, you know, at 1 point,
• 3:45
  you know, we were all just talking outside of the apartment,
• 3:49
  mom and the 2 kiddos and us, and, you know, they hugged us
• 3:53
  and we were able to just tell her how proud we were of her
• 3:57
  and, you know, how, you know, we were just praying for her and if she
• 4:00
  needed anything and just, it was a great a great connection
• 4:04
  that we were able to make. Blessed us for sure, and we were able to
• 4:08
  bless her and God came through in an amazing way. So I just
• 4:11
  wanted to share that and hope this blesses you as well.
