- 2:03Speaker 2: Good morning everybody. You are listening to the voice, Come on,
- 2:07Speaker 2: dig me now, one and only. Steve Harvey, Oh yeah, man,
- 2:11Speaker 2: got a radio show. Do you understand that? I'm telling you?
- 2:15Speaker 2: God been big in my life. God, God is a gentleman.
- 2:19Speaker 3: You know.
- 2:20Speaker 2: I want to I want to point that out to you.
- 2:22Speaker 2: God is an absolute gentleman. He will not come in
- 2:28Speaker 2: unless he's invited. He don't just barge into your life.
- 2:34Speaker 2: He gives us the power of choice.
- 2:37Speaker 3: You know.
- 2:37Speaker 2: If you say you got it, I don't need you,
- 2:39Speaker 2: He lets you have it. If you say I need you,
- 2:43Speaker 2: come see about me.
- 2:44Speaker 1: He right there.
- 2:46Speaker 8: It's just a real simple thing, man.
- 2:49Speaker 2: So always say to people this, if you've gotten yourself
- 2:53Speaker 2: into something, and please know I have I.
- 3:00Speaker 8: See that.
- 3:01Speaker 2: That's why I'm so adamant about it because I've gotten
- 3:04Speaker 2: myself in some circumstances and positions.
- 3:07Speaker 1: In my life.
- 3:08Speaker 2: Well, I've been, I've been. I've had some low moments. Man,
- 3:11Speaker 2: I've had some moments where I did not know what
- 3:15Speaker 2: to do. I didn't know what was next, I didn't
- 3:19Speaker 2: know how to go about it. I didn't have no
- 3:22Speaker 2: more ideas. I was stuck. I thought a couple of times,
- 3:29Speaker 2: well might not make it past this one. But then
- 3:34Speaker 2: if I don't make it past it, what's gonna happen?
- 3:37Speaker 2: And then I held on to this little thing that
- 3:39Speaker 2: my mother kept talking to me about. She said, sometimes
- 3:43Speaker 2: some when you ain't got nothing else in you, just hope,
- 3:47Speaker 2: she said, just hope it'll be all right, you know.
- 3:50Speaker 2: And what I've learned in my life is that hope
- 3:53Speaker 2: is the beginning of faith. Hope is just is there
- 3:58Speaker 2: a possibility out there for me? I show hope something happened.
- 4:05Speaker 2: See hope is okay, man, Because like I say, for me,
- 4:10Speaker 2: the way I've lived my life, hope was the beginning
- 4:13Speaker 2: of faith.
- 4:13Speaker 8: It was just the idea.
- 4:16Speaker 2: It's just the thought that something could change for me,
- 4:19Speaker 2: that something could be a little bit different from me,
- 4:22Speaker 2: that maybe, man, just maybe for some reason, I could
- 4:28Speaker 2: be saved, I could be rescued. Things could turn around,
- 4:34Speaker 2: it could hitit any other direction. Maybe I could quit
- 4:37Speaker 2: messing up. Maybe somebody will forgive me. Maybe somebody will
- 4:43Speaker 2: just say all right. I don't know, but I can't
- 4:46Speaker 2: count the times I've been in that position. But then
- 4:51Speaker 2: once I hope a little bit, and then I remember.
- 4:53Speaker 2: Also my mother, because she was a Sunday school teacher,
- 4:57Speaker 2: she taught me the most valuable lesson I've ever learned
- 5:00Speaker 2: my life. Nothing has been greater in my life than
- 5:03Speaker 2: my faith. She taught me to pray. Mama used to say,
- 5:08Speaker 2: when it get real, dog for your son, prayer changes things.
- 5:13Speaker 2: She said, When you seem like you lost and you
- 5:15Speaker 2: can't find your way, stop and pray, she said, because
- 5:20Speaker 2: prayer change is things. You know, when you get a
- 5:23Speaker 2: point in your life when you've done all you can
- 5:25Speaker 2: do and you can't do no more and you just
- 5:27Speaker 2: don't know what to do next, she said, stop, son,
- 5:31Speaker 2: pray and combine that prayer with that hope that you got.
- 5:39Speaker 2: She said, because that hope is to beginning of faith.
- 5:42Speaker 1: She said.
- 5:43Speaker 2: If you pray just hoping, she said, to God come
- 5:47Speaker 2: through for you. That'll give you confidence that he can
- 5:50Speaker 2: do it again. And then after a while, you quit hoping,
- 5:55Speaker 2: she saying, you start believing, she said, And that's when
- 5:58Speaker 2: you're own to something. If you can turn that hope
- 6:02Speaker 2: into belief, that hope into faith. That's the ability to
- 6:13Speaker 2: believe in something that you can't see.
- 6:16Speaker 8: But the key though, the faith is you're believing in
- 6:19Speaker 8: something that you can't see.
- 6:22Speaker 1: See.
- 6:22Speaker 8: Hoping a little bit different from me now, I'm pretty sure.
- 6:25Speaker 2: Like I say, oftentimes to tell a lot of people
- 6:27Speaker 2: who can explain this thing a lot better than I
- 6:29Speaker 2: can to you, hope is just kind of I don't
- 6:33Speaker 2: know how to I don't know how to say it,
- 6:34Speaker 2: but I'm just telling you, hope is you're just hoping
- 6:37Speaker 2: it work.
- 6:37Speaker 3: Right.
- 6:38Speaker 8: You just have a thought in your mind that you know, Man.
- 6:42Speaker 2: Wherever you are or whoever you are, whatever you are,
- 6:45Speaker 2: to me God, I show hope something change.
- 6:49Speaker 1: Hope helps.
- 6:50Speaker 3: Man.
- 6:51Speaker 8: If you ain't strong enough to have faith, have hope.
- 6:56Speaker 2: Hope, and then if you pray with some hope and
- 7:01Speaker 2: God answers your prayer, then that hope gains a little confidence,
- 7:07Speaker 2: and after a while that confidence becomes faith. Now theyin't
- 7:13Speaker 2: just hoping, but I'm believing. I'm believing in something that
- 7:17Speaker 2: I cannot see. Faith has been the key to my
- 7:25Speaker 2: entire existence, even when I didn't have any It was faith,
- 7:32Speaker 2: as I look back on it, that has gotten me here.
- 7:38Speaker 2: And not just faith, but my faith. See, you will
- 7:43Speaker 2: only get to where you're going in your life based
- 7:47Speaker 2: on your faith.
- 7:51Speaker 8: See.
- 7:51Speaker 2: A lot of people get the word faith confused, like
- 7:54Speaker 2: what's your faith? And then they start going down this
- 7:57Speaker 2: whole list of all these different religions out here. But
- 8:01Speaker 2: really an essence, man, when I talk to people about faith,
- 8:04Speaker 2: I'm talking to you about your your belief.
- 8:10Speaker 8: How much do you believe in the unseen? See?
- 8:15Speaker 1: Faith is the core of all that is happening to
- 8:19Speaker 1: me today.
- 8:21Speaker 2: It is the faith that I have in my relationship
- 8:24Speaker 2: with God that enables me to just oftentimes if I
- 8:30Speaker 2: stay on the right course and believe a certain way
- 8:34Speaker 2: and act a certain way, his blessings just poor.
- 8:39Speaker 8: They just come. And it comes in a lot of
- 8:43Speaker 8: little ways too. I've started to notice.
- 8:45Speaker 2: See, it ain't just a lot of people think blessings
- 8:47Speaker 2: is money, Nah, man, that ain't it.
- 8:50Speaker 1: It's coverage.
- 8:52Speaker 2: It's every time my plane lands safe, It's every time
- 8:56Speaker 2: they predict bad weather and I get up in the
- 8:59Speaker 2: sky and they don't be no bad weather. You know
- 9:03Speaker 2: this is this is favor. These are blessings that get
- 9:06Speaker 2: poured out to me. Somebody call me and offer me something,
- 9:10Speaker 2: not money, but an opportunity. See, blessings come a lot
- 9:16Speaker 2: of ways. But once you tie in to God, once
- 9:21Speaker 2: you tie in and you start doing the best you
- 9:24Speaker 2: can do, and you start asking for him to make
- 9:27Speaker 2: you a better person, to help shape and mold you
- 9:31Speaker 2: into the kind of man or person that he wants
- 9:34Speaker 2: you to be. You be amazed what God can do
- 9:37Speaker 2: with you. Man, if you just invite me in and
- 9:39Speaker 2: allow him to be a part of your life. I mean,
- 9:42Speaker 2: what you got to lose out there?
- 9:44Speaker 8: Come on?
- 9:45Speaker 2: Why would you not change? Why would you not allow
- 9:49Speaker 2: God to be a part of your life? God got
- 9:51Speaker 2: some big plans for you. If he didn't, you wouldn't
- 9:54Speaker 2: keep waking up.
- 9:56Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:00Speaker 8: What two, one, two three?
- 10:04Speaker 3: I got it?
- 10:07Speaker 8: I got it?
- 10:09Speaker 1: What do you mean?
- 10:10Speaker 3: I mean? I got it?
- 10:13Speaker 8: What about me?
- 10:14Speaker 3: I got it?
- 10:16Speaker 8: Do you want some?
- 10:18Speaker 1: Come get it?
- 10:20Speaker 8: Everybody all don't wanted?
- 10:22Speaker 3: Oh? What is it? I got it?
- 10:26Speaker 8: I don't know what it is, but I think that
- 10:30Speaker 8: you do that. Gum it?
- 10:33Speaker 7: Who is he?
- 10:34Speaker 8: And what is a heed to you?
- 10:37Speaker 3: Who?
- 10:38Speaker 2: Boy, that's when you combine a song. Boy, that's when
- 10:41Speaker 2: that's when you're writing. Right there, Steve Harbin, Marty show y'all,
- 10:45Speaker 2: we got it. Charlie Strawberry calling for real or Junior
- 10:50Speaker 2: better known as to kill One Mississippi Monica, straight out
- 10:54Speaker 2: from the King of Pranks.
- 10:55Speaker 8: Nephew Tommas, Good morning everybody, and they're just started.
- 11:02Speaker 1: Crazy, grand rising, grand ride right that.
- 11:10Speaker 3: I got.
- 11:16Speaker 9: Too much?
- 11:18Speaker 1: Yeah, just to say good morning, good morning cool. Oh
- 11:22Speaker 1: you know what else?
- 11:22Speaker 5: They say?
- 11:23Speaker 1: Happy born day? Yes, yeah all that?
- 11:31Speaker 8: Hey, man, let me back in. I miss my room up.
- 11:33Speaker 8: I don't know what the hell I did, Junir. What
- 11:35Speaker 8: you got man?
- 11:36Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 11:37Speaker 8: Man, let me ask you something.
- 11:38Speaker 10: Let me just go and ask you because I got
- 11:40Speaker 10: some friends.
- 11:40Speaker 1: They need to know.
- 11:41Speaker 8: They need to go ahead and turn it on in
- 11:44Speaker 8: Why why don't they look good.
- 11:45Speaker 1: To be a player of late in life because they
- 11:47Speaker 1: think they're doing something.
- 11:48Speaker 8: It's not good. Dog, It's a sad sight.
- 11:51Speaker 3: It is.
- 11:52Speaker 2: It's really hard when you walk into a club and
- 11:56Speaker 2: everybody got on white T shirts and you standing over
- 12:00Speaker 2: with a three piece suito with a pocket square. No,
- 12:08Speaker 2: why are you in the club? Why are you still
- 12:13Speaker 2: going out? You don't go to clubs. They have places
- 12:17Speaker 2: for old people to go. It's called taverns.
- 12:23Speaker 1: That's not a lot of them, I know.
- 12:25Speaker 2: Because it ain't a lot of people still wanting to
- 12:28Speaker 2: go out. But if you do want to go out,
- 12:32Speaker 2: they have names that know. This place is for you. Stanley's,
- 12:40Speaker 2: you know, don't nobody name they club after them?
- 12:44Speaker 3: No more.
- 12:48Speaker 1: Going down the stands, you know, easy talk?
- 12:55Speaker 8: What easy talk? Yeah, man, we gotta help.
- 13:03Speaker 2: Here's another club, Schmitty's Barbecue and Tax Service.
- 13:09Speaker 8: After our joint. Yes, I would hang out there. This
- 13:14Speaker 8: is where old people go.
- 13:17Speaker 3: Go.
- 13:17Speaker 2: Well, there are other old people. Don't go out here
- 13:21Speaker 2: with these young people. They know you don't belong here.
- 13:25Speaker 2: You cannot be in the club. And one person asks
- 13:31Speaker 2: somebody who uncle?
- 13:33Speaker 3: Is that? All right?
- 13:35Speaker 11: Guys coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour,

- 14:32Speaker 6: at the same time coming down the aisle.
- 14:36Speaker 8: But the cas get right down. You understand weddings and
- 14:39Speaker 8: a funeral. Let's go, cat dog give you what?
- 14:43Speaker 3: Hello?
- 14:43Speaker 9: It is Ryan?
- 14:44Speaker 3: Hi, right, I'm trying to Ryan, Ryan. How you doing. Hey,
- 14:47Speaker 3: I'm good.
- 14:47Speaker 7: I'm thinking.
- 14:48Speaker 3: This is Josh Josh over at me. I want to
- 14:51Speaker 3: be officials at the church where you guys are getting
- 14:54Speaker 3: married tomorrow.
- 14:55Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, how you doing?
- 14:56Speaker 12: Man?
- 14:56Speaker 7: I want to thank y'all for that too.
- 14:57Speaker 11: Man.
- 14:58Speaker 7: We will appreciate it.
- 15:00Speaker 3: Here well, we definitely hope to make you a member
- 15:02Speaker 3: here sooner or later since you guys are getting married.
- 15:04Speaker 7: You know, hey, man, you know I'm trying to get
- 15:06Speaker 7: this work schedule changed up. You know what I'm saying.
- 15:08Speaker 7: They got to be working on Sundays now, man, So
- 15:10Speaker 7: as soon as I tweaked at the mood at around
- 15:12Speaker 7: a little bit, I'll be there.
- 15:14Speaker 3: Okay, listen, we have a bit of a situation that's
- 15:16Speaker 3: come up. We had some problems and miscommunication and it's
- 15:21Speaker 3: definitely been on the outside. They had your name Ryan
- 15:24Speaker 3: down here with your fall number as well as you
- 15:27Speaker 3: as soon to be wife Sonya. They had her name here,
- 15:29Speaker 3: but we didn't want to call her with if we
- 15:31Speaker 3: wanted to just reach out and talk to you and
- 15:34Speaker 3: see if it just make you aware of what was
- 15:36Speaker 3: going on. Okay, what's going on? Man, there's been a
- 15:39Speaker 3: mix up on on scheduling. I don't know if you
- 15:41Speaker 3: know since the Olda make she passed away a week
- 15:45Speaker 3: ago and you're not you're not a member of the church,
- 15:48Speaker 3: so you wouldn't know her. But she's one of the
- 15:49Speaker 3: one of the oldest members here at the church. The
- 15:52Speaker 3: olda may passed away and what's going on is you
- 15:56Speaker 3: all's wedding is tomorrow at twelve o'clock, right, but the
- 16:01Speaker 3: actual funeral is at three o'clock here at the church. Okay,
- 16:06Speaker 3: uh agin, brother, what Josh, Josh?
- 16:10Speaker 7: Okay, look here, brother Josh. Hey, man, we we we
- 16:14Speaker 7: already got this thing in motion. Man, we didn't stand out.
- 16:17Speaker 7: They have med two hundred invitations.
- 16:19Speaker 3: Man, I mean blessed us so and and I understand that,
- 16:24Speaker 3: but but but I mean, you know, she's there's no
- 16:27Speaker 3: way we could have moved it around down. The biggest
- 16:29Speaker 3: problem the funeral home is bringing the casket first thing
- 16:32Speaker 3: in the morning. So what I want what I wanted
- 16:34Speaker 3: to make you aware of, and I don't want you
- 16:36Speaker 3: to tell your wife just but the actual casket will
- 16:39Speaker 3: be in the Saints Aiar, but we will have it.
- 16:41Speaker 7: Come hold on, man, are you serious?
- 16:44Speaker 3: Now?
- 16:44Speaker 7: Look here, Hey, y'alln't need to move this round. I
- 16:47Speaker 7: don't know what y'all gonna do if y'all have a
- 16:49Speaker 7: fellowsip Paul in the back or something like that.
- 16:53Speaker 3: Ryan. The only place we can actually put the casket,
- 16:56Speaker 3: and if we didn't put it there, is in the
- 16:57Speaker 3: actual room that you'll you'll soon to be white with
- 17:00Speaker 3: be changing any that's the only place.
- 17:02Speaker 7: You got your mile. My wife could have changed no
- 17:05Speaker 7: room with no dead body. Are you kidding?
- 17:08Speaker 3: And you know what, I understood that. That's the first
- 17:10Speaker 3: thing I thought of it. I thought, I said, just
- 17:12Speaker 3: put the casket the way it goes for the funeral
- 17:15Speaker 3: and we're gonna cover it up. And see basically you
- 17:17Speaker 3: actually get in.
- 17:19Speaker 7: Wow, I can't even believe you calling me with this man.
- 17:23Speaker 7: Look at it and excuse my french man. Yeah, I
- 17:25Speaker 7: know I need to get back into church, I really do,
- 17:27Speaker 7: but right now, dog, this ain't going down like this man. Now,
- 17:30Speaker 7: we didn't already pay the money first. First of all,
- 17:34Speaker 7: First of all, you know she should. I don't even
- 17:36Speaker 7: feel like she may had to pay, you know, to
- 17:39Speaker 7: to hold no wedding over at hunch Her where she
- 17:41Speaker 7: pay tithes that that's that's the first thing.
- 17:44Speaker 3: You know.
- 17:44Speaker 7: I ain't like they're from the jumping, but I would
- 17:45Speaker 7: ahead when win it because she want her pastor to
- 17:48Speaker 7: marry us. And now you got the nerve to tell
- 17:50Speaker 7: me that. Y'all we arrange something that a funeral gonna
- 17:53Speaker 7: happen the same day as my wedding, and my wife
- 17:55Speaker 7: got to get dressed in the room with a dead body.
- 17:58Speaker 3: Well, we're not gonna put her in that, bro. Like
- 18:00Speaker 3: I say, I'm putting that body first thing in the morning.
- 18:03Speaker 3: I'm gonna put that body in the right there in
- 18:06Speaker 3: front of the fullpit, and we're gonna cover it. Now,
- 18:09Speaker 3: what you're getting out of it is you're getting more flowers,
- 18:12Speaker 3: because there's gonna be flowers from the funeral. So I'm
- 18:15Speaker 3: thinking that's probably gonna be a little bit of a perk.
- 18:17Speaker 3: I just wanted you to they don't wear it. It's
- 18:19Speaker 3: probably gonna be more people than you think because some
- 18:22Speaker 3: of the people that's gonna be at your wedding, it's
- 18:24Speaker 3: really for the funeral.
- 18:25Speaker 7: A hold on, man, are you serious righting that? I mean,
- 18:29Speaker 7: look here, doctor, I then paid for this wedding to
- 18:32Speaker 7: happen at this church, man, Okay, And no disrespect to
- 18:36Speaker 7: the lady that is past. God bless her family. I
- 18:38Speaker 7: ain't planning to not putting no dead body, having no
- 18:42Speaker 7: funerals at my wedding. Man, that's crazy. I'm gonna come
- 18:46Speaker 7: down their.
- 18:47Speaker 3: Church too, sir. She's a member of the church too.
- 18:50Speaker 7: I don't give it. I don't be no member of
- 18:52Speaker 7: the church, man. I then paid for this wedding, and
- 18:54Speaker 7: it's gonna happen tomorrow. Man, you are fixing and putting
- 18:57Speaker 7: no dead body at my wedding?
- 19:01Speaker 3: What church? It's right, right? I mean no difference. But
- 19:06Speaker 3: the woman has passed. She is not gonna get up.
- 19:10Speaker 7: I mean, what what is the problem? The problem is
- 19:12Speaker 7: your calls me with this man's day before my wedding.
- 19:15Speaker 7: We didn't schedule there six months ago. Got to fill
- 19:18Speaker 7: twenty five thirty thousand dollars on this wed okay, and
- 19:20Speaker 7: I just gonna tell me that we got to shore.
- 19:22Speaker 7: I will wed with a funeral. But the hell is
- 19:24Speaker 7: wrong with you?

- 19:54Speaker 7: body in there. There's gonna be a couple of bodies
- 19:56Speaker 7: in there.

- 20:11Speaker 8: You heard me.
- 20:12Speaker 7: I ain't playing. I ain't playing at all, no joke.
- 20:15Speaker 7: What's wrong with child?
- 20:17Speaker 3: Man? You can do something else, man, I understand that.

- 20:22Speaker 3: Man.
- 20:22Speaker 7: All I'm saying is it's going to be a wedding
- 20:25Speaker 7: at this church tomorrow without saying dead body.
- 20:28Speaker 3: That's all I'm saying. To push it to the bank, man,
- 20:31Speaker 3: there's one more bit of an issue that I need
- 20:33Speaker 3: to tell you.
- 20:34Speaker 7: Also, what the can be worse than a dead body?
- 20:36Speaker 7: What issue can be worse than dead body at my wedding?
- 20:39Speaker 3: Man? The issue sert that is worse than the dead
- 20:41Speaker 3: body is this is Nephew time and from the Steve

- 21:11Speaker 7: best beat down posse for bane.
- 21:12Speaker 3: I'll tell you Hey, one more question. What's the badness
- 21:16Speaker 3: radio show in the land?

- 21:20Speaker 1: Babe Yes from musing to say.

- 22:10Speaker 11: a blind date with the finest girl I have ever met.
- 22:13Speaker 11: She's got beautiful teeth, eyes, and hair, and she's a
- 22:17Speaker 11: little on.
- 22:18Speaker 1: The thick side, which I love.
- 22:20Speaker 11: The only problem is that she smokes cigars and I
- 22:23Speaker 11: could taste it on her breast when we kiss. She
- 22:26Speaker 11: only does it on the weekend, So should I deal
- 22:29Speaker 11: with it or move on?
- 22:32Speaker 2: Hey? Dog, it's just on the weekends and along the lane,
- 22:37Speaker 2: I mean, you know, there being a cigar smoker, there
- 22:41Speaker 2: are some things you can do, you know, to help
- 22:45Speaker 2: the situation, like what I mean, like, don't smoke, fol
- 22:49Speaker 2: you kiss. That's a big one. Yeah, it's they got
- 22:57Speaker 2: stuff fun at me when you actually sig place it there,
- 23:00Speaker 2: you lean over a kiss, You fin to eat some cigar? Dog,
- 23:05Speaker 2: that's just all to it your kissing schedule. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 23:12Speaker 2: You're gonna work that out with fine?

- 23:18Speaker 5: Him.
- 23:18Speaker 2: Yeah we find to be blowing cigaret smoke all each other.
- 23:27Speaker 2: We all smoke a cigar.
- 23:29Speaker 1: Yeah fine, how fine she is? Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah.
- 23:35Speaker 1: It has a lot to do it, Okay, so he
- 23:38Speaker 1: should deal with it. And not move on. Just stay
- 23:40Speaker 1: there and take it, take it absolutely.
- 23:42Speaker 8: I mean, come on, man, come on, man. Where a
- 23:44Speaker 8: follow doctor Titian and awed her.
- 23:55Speaker 2: Take all her taste, buzz out and everything. Doctor Trishner
- 24:00Speaker 2: removes one layer of mouth lining.
- 24:09Speaker 1: All right.
- 24:10Speaker 11: Moving on to Felicity in Topeka, Felicity writes, I have
- 24:14Speaker 11: been seeing a man that is twelve years my junior,
- 24:17Speaker 11: and he's handsome and muscular up top, but lacking down below.
- 24:22Speaker 1: He tries to.
- 24:23Speaker 11: Overcompensate for his shortcomings and is too much for me
- 24:27Speaker 11: to handle. I have a schedule to keep up with
- 24:30Speaker 11: and kids to look after, so I can't be lying
- 24:33Speaker 11: around for hours with him. Is it cool to tell
- 24:35Speaker 11: him to hurry up? Or will he be offended? Please advise.
- 24:41Speaker 8: It's not going to fend him.
- 24:43Speaker 2: If you tell him to hurry up. What will offend
- 24:47Speaker 2: him is you tell him why he needs to hurry
- 24:51Speaker 2: I know why you putting me in all this extra time.
- 24:56Speaker 1: And you're not in Yeah, you know, I loss again.
- 25:01Speaker 8: You know what I'm saying.
- 25:03Speaker 1: Being on the other.
- 25:04Speaker 8: Side of this one right here, I can tell you.
- 25:08Speaker 3: You know what.
- 25:13Speaker 2: In my life I've been too much, but I ain't
- 25:15Speaker 2: never been not enough. I've been here, I've been oh lord,
- 25:22Speaker 2: but I ain't never been open. I think I think
- 25:30Speaker 2: you're gonna have to tell him to hurry up.
- 25:32Speaker 1: You got things to do. But in a nice way.
- 25:35Speaker 2: Is he a really great guy? Does he treats you
- 25:37Speaker 2: really well? They treat the kids great? How is he
- 25:39Speaker 2: as a man? You can work through some of these things?
- 25:43Speaker 2: You know some things you can do to speed up
- 25:45Speaker 2: the process.
- 25:47Speaker 11: I don't know, all right, Felicity moving on to Carolyn
- 25:51Speaker 11: and making Georgia. Carolyn says, as luck would have it,
- 25:54Speaker 11: I'm broke again at the wrong time of the year.
- 25:58Speaker 11: I was talking to my coworker about my issues, and
- 26:01Speaker 11: he said he could help me out if I showed
- 26:03Speaker 11: him two things. The two things are right under my chin,
- 26:07Speaker 11: and he wants to see them. I've never been propositioned
- 26:10Speaker 11: like this, but he said he'd give me two hundred
- 26:12Speaker 11: dollars and that would help me get my little girl
- 26:14Speaker 11: that bike she wants. Is it so terrible if I
- 26:17Speaker 11: show him what? If he wants to pay to see more?
- 26:21Speaker 8: What you what?
- 26:21Speaker 3: You? What? You?
- 26:22Speaker 1: What you think it's going to be leading to?
- 26:25Speaker 3: This?
- 26:25Speaker 2: Is this is to see what you're willing to do? Now,
- 26:29Speaker 2: if you do this for two hundred dollars, he already
- 26:32Speaker 2: know he got five. You're marking right, hey, though, I mean,
- 26:39Speaker 2: you go in there and tell your little girl, we
- 26:40Speaker 2: ain't get no damn bike this year.
- 26:41Speaker 1: You know, many years I heard that.
- 26:46Speaker 8: Bike.
- 26:47Speaker 2: Oh you working, I'd heard stuff like that. Bight, what's
- 26:55Speaker 2: wrong with the bike you got out there? You're talking
- 26:57Speaker 2: about the board you gave me from the dructure site.
- 27:01Speaker 2: That BikeE daddy, that's never been new like a new bike. Well,
- 27:06Speaker 2: I want a new car. You don't see. No, you
- 27:07Speaker 2: don't see what I say.
- 27:08Speaker 1: Not that day. That's a lot, yeah, exactly.
- 27:12Speaker 2: So every time I asked him for something, he every
- 27:15Speaker 2: time I told my daddy I wanted something.
- 27:17Speaker 8: He told me something he wanted. I want a new bike.
- 27:21Speaker 8: I want a new car.
- 27:23Speaker 1: Yeah, I want to go home.
- 27:25Speaker 2: Well, hell, I want to go home too, But now
- 27:26Speaker 2: I got to go to work. So you're little ask him?
- 27:28Speaker 2: Eat what they got to do with what I said?
- 27:33Speaker 1: So, Carolyn, you're getting something from this, okay.
- 27:37Speaker 2: I mean, if you show him to him for two
- 27:39Speaker 2: hundred dollars, the next offer fing to be five hundred.
- 27:42Speaker 1: What you gonna do? Yeah, And they work together so
- 27:47Speaker 1: that's really not cool. It's inappropriate, yeah, really all the way.
- 27:52Speaker 8: But two hundred dollars that ain't nothing.
- 27:54Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, I am one hundred dollars each.
- 27:59Speaker 8: Good Shirley, you didne divided it up?
- 28:03Speaker 3: Huh?
- 28:04Speaker 8: Yes, cool, he's horrible, all right.
- 28:09Speaker 11: Misty and Rustin Louisiana says, I'm forty years old and
- 28:13Speaker 11: I purchased my first home for my son and I
- 28:16Speaker 11: my son is fifteen years old and refuses to do
- 28:19Speaker 11: the yard work for me. He told me that I
- 28:22Speaker 11: need to get my boyfriend to do it, since he's
- 28:23Speaker 11: always over there. I lit into him when he spoke
- 28:27Speaker 11: to me that way, and I called my father to
- 28:29Speaker 11: come and talk to him. My father sided with him.
- 28:32Speaker 11: I expected my son to have pride in his home.
- 28:36Speaker 11: So am I wrong to demand that he do the
- 28:39Speaker 11: yard work at this house?
- 28:41Speaker 2: Well, I understand what you're saying. You're exactly right feeling
- 28:44Speaker 2: what you're feeling. But your fifteen year old son going,
- 28:47Speaker 2: so what this lady is doing is coming over here
- 28:50Speaker 2: sleeping with my mama. See, in fifteen, he got some
- 28:53Speaker 2: feelings about that that you haven't addressed. The fifteen year
- 28:57Speaker 2: old boy is jealous that you're in this relationship with
- 29:00Speaker 2: this man, and he trying to figure out what's the
- 29:02Speaker 2: value of him because he don't see him doing nothing
- 29:04Speaker 2: except sleeping with his mama. That's the problem you have,
- 29:09Speaker 2: and never feelings ain't fitna leave that boy no time soon.
- 29:14Speaker 2: So the conversation you should have really is with this
- 29:17Speaker 2: man of yours as to what kind of example he's
- 29:20Speaker 2: setting for your son, because all boys want to be
- 29:24Speaker 2: some type of man.
- 29:25Speaker 8: It's gonna be a good man or a bad man.
- 29:27Speaker 2: And right now that's the example of manhood that's been
- 29:30Speaker 2: put in front of him, and he don't see much.
- 29:32Speaker 1: Of a man coming out of him. Great advice I
- 29:35Speaker 1: was over that if.
- 29:36Speaker 2: You went to the bath, if you went to the
- 29:38Speaker 2: boyfriend and said, I wish you'd talk to my son,
- 29:41Speaker 2: maybe y'all could do it together or something, it would
- 29:43Speaker 2: mean a lot to him, and then you can finally
- 29:45Speaker 2: see what you're dealing with, which don't sound like much
- 29:47Speaker 2: of nothing.
- 29:49Speaker 1: All right, Thank you, clo Hey, good morning. This is
- 29:52Speaker 1: your girl, Shirley Strawberry.
- 29:54Speaker 11: And my favorite Christmas memory is every single one of
- 29:57Speaker 11: my childhood christmases gave us the best Christmases ever, our
- 30:03Speaker 11: entire living room was filled with all kinds of presents
- 30:07Speaker 11: like dolls, bikes. Yeah, easy bake ovens had to have
- 30:12Speaker 11: one of those. But anyway, I have a wonderful holiday season.
- 30:16Speaker 11: From Shirley Strawberry and the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're
- 30:20Speaker 11: listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Time to get the choice together. However,
- 30:27Speaker 11: the elves, I didn't know this. The elves are on
- 30:31Speaker 11: strike and you guys here with some grievances.
- 30:35Speaker 1: I got. I got this.
- 30:37Speaker 2: Someone listen myself because it's something that I'm I'm good
- 30:41Speaker 2: at doing because I'm a former union man and as
- 30:46Speaker 2: ales have decided and they came to me with a
- 30:49Speaker 2: lot of complaints and I'm being a represented now. We
- 30:53Speaker 2: wanted Tommy to stand up for He was already standing
- 30:58Speaker 2: up see right there when I be damn. We need
- 31:03Speaker 2: somebody that's stand up for it, that look like they
- 31:05Speaker 2: actually standing.
- 31:07Speaker 8: So I said I would do it.
- 31:08Speaker 2: The l's this year are going on strike, well they
- 31:14Speaker 2: haven't gone on yet, but they're threatened to go on strike.
- 31:17Speaker 2: To elves are wanting to sit out this year. Santa
- 31:20Speaker 2: Claus is having trouble because he's trying to talk to
- 31:23Speaker 2: these damn ls about their concerns. So I'm here with
- 31:29Speaker 2: their grievances, and I want to start by saying these
- 31:33Speaker 2: are the l's grievouss, and I will be preparing these
- 31:36Speaker 2: statements on behalf of the L Foundation. We the LS
- 31:42Speaker 2: who work at the North Pole, are requesting the following changes.
- 31:48Speaker 2: Please show your support through our website www dot help
- 31:53Speaker 2: ls dot com.
- 31:56Speaker 8: If you're want to help the l's help L's come tell.
- 32:01Speaker 1: Me that you don't know. So you know what y'all?
- 32:10Speaker 2: Well, the complaints that the elves have, and here we go.
- 32:15Speaker 2: Number one problem that they have it We the als
- 32:19Speaker 2: would like to stop making these damn wooden toys. Dont
- 32:25Speaker 2: no kid, won't no damn wooden toys. And we've been
- 32:30Speaker 2: making them for years. Okay, ain't nobody asked for now
- 32:34Speaker 2: one of these wooden wheels, these wooden pegs block They
- 32:40Speaker 2: got real toys now. Secondly, we the als, are requesting
- 32:44Speaker 2: to have a casual Friday so we ain't got to
- 32:48Speaker 2: wear these stupid ass uniforms. They had tight ass pants
- 32:53Speaker 2: for these pointed hats. We want a casual Friday, voicing
- 32:59Speaker 2: the concern the elves have and are considered on going
- 33:02Speaker 2: on strike and they wanted me to convey this to
- 33:05Speaker 2: Center Claus and everybody listen, We're the Alves would like
- 33:09Speaker 2: to request a thirty minute smoke break.
- 33:14Speaker 8: They smuts and we smoke, and we.
- 33:19Speaker 2: Want to be able to go outside and smoke whatever.
- 33:23Speaker 3: We want.
- 33:27Speaker 1: If it's legal.
- 33:28Speaker 8: We try making these wood chares without it, Elves don't
- 33:33Speaker 8: get high.
- 33:34Speaker 2: And here's the next complaint on behalf of the Hell's ls.
- 33:38Speaker 2: We the Alves have voted to eliminate bring your kids
- 33:43Speaker 2: to work there, for the truth of the matter is
- 33:49Speaker 2: l really don't like kids.
- 33:55Speaker 8: No, we don't.
- 33:57Speaker 2: Damn that because they think we kids to just because
- 34:00Speaker 2: we short. Get your damn hands off of me. I
- 34:09Speaker 2: drove here in the sleeve. Next complaint that they have,
- 34:15Speaker 2: we the Elves are uncomfortable.
- 34:18Speaker 8: Wearing these dang funny toe shoes.
- 34:23Speaker 6: That hurt out.
- 34:27Speaker 2: We want crops to be the new official al shoe,
- 34:34Speaker 2: Crocks and gaiters to be the.
- 34:36Speaker 8: New Al shoe.
- 34:38Speaker 2: The Elves, I'm doing complaints. You don't act like you
- 34:41Speaker 2: ain't with them. Are you trying to add a complaint.
- 34:47Speaker 7: Like you ain't?
- 34:49Speaker 6: Elves and pilgrims have the same shue. I'm not I'm
- 34:58Speaker 6: not an elbow. Well, let's quit playing this game, do they?
- 35:04Speaker 2: Next complaint, We the elves do not like elves shirts
- 35:09Speaker 2: and pants. They ain't got no damn pockets, and we
- 35:13Speaker 2: want to start using fanny packs, so when we go
- 35:20Speaker 2: outside to take our smoke break, we'll have our stuff
- 35:24Speaker 2: with its. Next complaint, We the elves understand that we
- 35:31Speaker 2: on the north pole, but some of the younger elves
- 35:34Speaker 2: wants to cut back on the heat being so high
- 35:37Speaker 2: all the time in the workshop. The older Al's is
- 35:42Speaker 2: fine with the.
- 35:45Speaker 8: Damn we swim.
- 35:52Speaker 2: Next, we the elves would like to assign ten l's
- 35:56Speaker 2: each year to ride around with center, because we think
- 36:00Speaker 2: is unfair that we make all these damn toys and
- 36:03Speaker 2: we don't ever get to go on.
- 36:06Speaker 8: Fat ass just be packing up the slid with the rain?
- 36:09Speaker 8: Did we made the toy?
- 36:11Speaker 4: Let us go.
- 36:15Speaker 2: A couple more quickly, We the als, we still love
- 36:18Speaker 2: miss Claus and we know she's very nice and she's
- 36:21Speaker 2: never too busy to being down and give us a hug.
- 36:24Speaker 8: But we still would like to know exactly what does
- 36:29Speaker 8: she do up here?
- 36:32Speaker 2: The cooks the cooks for everybody. We ain't had nothing
- 36:37Speaker 2: from her. We got a a qibla l and last
- 36:41Speaker 2: week not leaves. We the Ale support the me too movement.
- 36:45Speaker 2: That's real strong up here, and some of the female
- 36:49Speaker 2: ales are requesting that Santa refrain from saying ho ho
- 36:55Speaker 2: ho ho.
- 36:57Speaker 1: And on that note, we're gonna go go. It was good.
- 37:02Speaker 1: It's Chris Brennan.
- 37:03Speaker 13: I want to just say happy Holidays from my family,

- 37:46Speaker 9: Which one?
- 37:47Speaker 1: Oh lost?
- 37:48Speaker 8: Hell no, Las Vegas, Las Vegas.
- 37:50Speaker 2: I've been to the ball Drop in New York I've

- 38:11Speaker 7: All right?
- 38:12Speaker 11: Would you rather snowball fight with your spouse or would
- 38:15Speaker 11: you rather a pillow fight with your spouse? That?
- 38:19Speaker 10: I got to have a pillow fight. That's what I
- 38:21Speaker 10: got to have here with a snowball. It could be
- 38:24Speaker 10: you know we're going to the hospital right after that.
- 38:25Speaker 10: Oh no, I know.
- 38:34Speaker 8: You staying me with that?
- 38:36Speaker 2: Next my mouth is, you have no idea how many

- 56:23Speaker 1: Thank you, nephew.
- 56:24Speaker 11: Subject trying to get through the holidays. Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 56:28Speaker 11: I'm in love with another man, and I just need
- 56:30Speaker 11: to make it through the holidays with my current boyfriend
- 56:33Speaker 11: so I can dump him and get with the new guy.
- 56:36Speaker 11: But I need your advice before I let a sure
- 56:39Speaker 11: thing go and move on to a fairy tale lover.
- 56:42Speaker 11: I don't want to leave my current boyfriend just yet,
- 56:45Speaker 11: because he is getting my brakes fixed on my car
- 56:49Speaker 11: and he's getting me a bracelet that I want for Christmas.
- 56:52Speaker 11: I already saw it hiding in his drawer, so I'm
- 56:55Speaker 11: doing all I can to stay faithful until the new year.
- 56:58Speaker 11: My new man is an similar situation, but he's married.
- 57:03Speaker 11: He advised me to stay put while he lets his
- 57:06Speaker 11: marriage fizzle on out. He and his wife don't have
- 57:08Speaker 11: any children, so he can make a clean break. We've
- 57:11Speaker 11: been looking at apartments together but I told him we
- 57:15Speaker 11: might be moving too soon by choosing to.
- 57:17Speaker 1: Move in together.
- 57:18Speaker 11: I agree that I will put the apartment and all
- 57:21Speaker 11: of the utilities in my name until his divorce is finalized.
- 57:25Speaker 11: I told my sister about my excitement over the new guy,
- 57:29Speaker 11: and she wanted to meet him, but he said it's
- 57:32Speaker 11: best to not invite family into our messed up situation
- 57:35Speaker 11: until he's out of his marriage. My sister took that
- 57:38Speaker 11: as a bad sign that he's going to have me
- 57:41Speaker 11: staying in an apartment all by myself and.
- 57:44Speaker 1: He's going to come over and have sex with me
- 57:46Speaker 1: and go right back to his wife.
- 57:48Speaker 11: I don't think that's the case, because this guy is
- 57:50Speaker 11: the one that initiated everything.
- 57:53Speaker 1: He pursued me and told me I deserve to be
- 57:55Speaker 1: treated like a queen.
- 57:56Speaker 11: Meanwhile, my boyfriend does not take me out anymore, and
- 58:00Speaker 11: he never wants to have sex. All he does is
- 58:03Speaker 11: ask me to be patient with him because he's working
- 58:05Speaker 11: on a master plan for us. It's been three years
- 58:08Speaker 11: and he's not even ready to live together. Do I
- 58:10Speaker 11: start with my prince or stay with this bump?
- 58:15Speaker 8: All right?
- 58:16Speaker 11: I know we've said this before about a lot of
- 58:18Speaker 11: strawberry letters. But I think this is one of the
- 58:20Speaker 11: truly dumbest letters we've had. And I hope the men
- 58:24Speaker 11: that are listening don't think all women are like this,
- 58:27Speaker 11: because we are not. It's wrong what you're doing to
- 58:30Speaker 11: your current boyfriend, who doesn't take you out anymore, who
- 58:34Speaker 11: doesn't want to have sex with you. Maybe he knows
- 58:36Speaker 11: about the man that you have, this married man. I
- 58:40Speaker 11: just say, if you don't want your boyfriend, let him go.
- 58:43Speaker 11: You ask for advice about leaving your current boyfriend before
- 58:46Speaker 11: you let a sure thing go.
- 58:48Speaker 9: And here it is.
- 58:51Speaker 11: I mean, he said he's just waiting for his marriage
- 58:54Speaker 11: to fizzle out. I mean, do you hear how stupid
- 58:56Speaker 11: that sounds. There's no end date, no nothing, no papers
- 59:01Speaker 11: in the works, nothing. Then you volunteer to put the
- 59:04Speaker 11: apartment and all of the utilities in your name.
- 59:07Speaker 1: Now, why would you do that?
- 59:08Speaker 11: Why would you do that for a man who's married.
- 59:12Speaker 11: You said he pursued you and said you should be
- 59:14Speaker 11: treated like a queen. Well, yes you should, we all should,
- 59:17Speaker 11: but this is not queen treatment. A queen wouldn't accept
- 59:21Speaker 11: any of this mess. There are way too many red
- 59:24Speaker 11: flags here. Your sister saw them right away when he
- 59:26Speaker 11: said he didn't want to meet her until he got
- 59:29Speaker 11: out of his marriage.
- 59:30Speaker 1: That sounded like a cop out to her, but.
- 59:33Speaker 3: Not to you.
- 59:34Speaker 11: You are still making excuses for him. Listen, this married
- 59:37Speaker 11: man is gonna do just what your sister said. If
- 59:42Speaker 11: he's that into you, then then why not get out
- 59:45Speaker 11: of his marriage then get with you, and you should
- 59:48Speaker 11: back off until he gets out of his marriage. You're
- 59:52Speaker 11: talking about making all these moves and he's not available. Okay,
- 59:56Speaker 11: he is not available for you to do this right now,
- 59:59Speaker 11: so don't do Steve.
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: I'm so serious. I'm tired, I'm tied. I'mna just tell
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: you right now. After I do this strawberry letter, I'm
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: gonna go in there and lay down. You know, I'm
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: because I'm tired. I don't I don't know what to
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: keep telling y'all. I don't know why y'all keep trying me.
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: But today today, though today ain't today. I ain't the
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: one fault today. Let's just get into it. I'm telling
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: you nothing but raw, raw truth, a w truth. I'm
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: in love with another man, Okay. I just need to
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: make it through the holidays with my current boyfriend so
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: I can dump him and get with the new guy.
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: This letter got stupid rode on so far because right
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: now we're just talking about a boyfriend. This ain't even
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: a marriage, and I can dump him to get the
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: new guy. But I need your advice and hear where
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: I come here at before I let a sure thing
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: go and move on to a fairy tale level. So
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: we gonna let go of the sure thing to go
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: to the fairy tale level. But let's find out a
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: little bit about this show thing in this fairy tale level.
- 1:01:25Speaker 8: I don't want to leave. Listen to this reason right here,
- 1:01:29Speaker 8: I don't.
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: Want to leave my carent boyfriend just yet because he's
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: getting my breaks fixed on my car and he give
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: me a bracelet I want for Christmas.
- 1:01:39Speaker 8: I'll be damn.
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: Your damn whole life is hanging on some breaks and
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: a bracelet. You done put your life on hold so
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: you can get some breaks and a bracelet. I'm gonna
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: tell you right now you ain't worth a damn. I'm
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: just gonna tell you that not you are so cheap.
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: You were a set of breaks and a bracelet. Girl,
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: I already saw it hiding in this drawer. So I'm
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: doing all I can to be stay faithful until the
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: new year. But you're gonna ride it out. You're gonna
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: stay faithful for the embraceleting breaks. That's all that take
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: to be and b breaking bracelet boyfriend, braakle.
- 1:02:36Speaker 11: We'll have part two of your response coming up at
- 1:02:38Speaker 11: twenty three minutes after the subject of today's strawberry letter
- 1:02:43Speaker 11: trying to get through the holidays. We'll get back into
- 1:02:46Speaker 11: this right after this.
- 1:02:49Speaker 4: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show that the Salvation Army

- 1:03:25Speaker 11: All right, come on, Steve, Let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:03:28Speaker 11: The subject is trying to get through the holidays.
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: This ignorant strawberry letter is about a woman that is
- 1:03:34Speaker 2: trying to get through the straw trying to get through
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: the holidays because she in love with another man, but
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: she don't want to leave her boyfriend yet because she
- 1:03:41Speaker 2: can't dump him just yet, because she need advice. But
- 1:03:44Speaker 2: now she say, before I let a sure thing go
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: and move on to a fairy tale level. Hear why
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: she don't want to leave her current boyfriend ready, cause
- 1:03:53Speaker 2: he getting my breaks fixed on my car and he
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: gonna get me a bracelet I want for Christmas? That
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: is Hey, y'all out there that's got real lives. How
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: many y'all willing to hold your life up for a
- 1:04:06Speaker 2: break job in a bracelet? How many of y'all in
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: to delay your happiness and what you really want over
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: some breaks? Probably just need some new pants at a bracelet.
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: Already saw it hiding in this drawer, So I'm doing
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: all I can to stay faithful until the new year.
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: It was just laying in the drawer. It wasn't in
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: a box or nothing. Your bracelet hot. That's a hot bracelet.
- 1:04:33Speaker 2: If your drawers just laying in the drawer, you don't
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: see it in no velvet box or nothing. Your bracelet hot.
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: He just got that out the pawn shopping. When they
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: find it they gonna take your bracelet from. My new
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: man is in a similar situation, but he married. Mister
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: got domb wow breaks bracelets, break up and boyfriend the
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: folk bees.
- 1:05:01Speaker 3: Here we go.
- 1:05:03Speaker 8: My new man is in a similar situation, but he married.
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: He advised me to stay put while he lets his
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: marriage fizzle on out.
- 1:05:12Speaker 8: What what do that mean? What does that mean? I'm
- 1:05:18Speaker 8: gonna let my marriage fizzle on out?
- 1:05:22Speaker 3: Girl?
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: This ain't a birthday coundle. You can't just wait till
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: your marriage fizzle out. This ain't one of them sparkles
- 1:05:30Speaker 2: we used to have when we was kids. You know
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: you lighted, you waving around till it fizzle out.
- 1:05:35Speaker 8: This is marriage.
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: This ain't no damn fire cracker.
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: This is marriage. He can't just let it fizzle out.
- 1:05:45Speaker 2: He got to go to court and they got something
- 1:05:47Speaker 2: for your little fizzle out ass playing. I can tell
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: you that right now. I've been dying. Now talk about
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: you gonna let it fizzle out. They finna help your
- 1:05:55Speaker 2: ass out, is what they finn do? This fit the cost.
- 1:05:59Speaker 2: This ain't you don't let marriage fizzle out. He and
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: his wife don't have any children, so he can make
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: a clean break. What what did you say you think,
- 1:06:10Speaker 2: because ain't no kids involved, you can make a clean break.
- 1:06:14Speaker 3: Girl.
- 1:06:15Speaker 2: By we've been looking at apartments together, but I told
- 1:06:18Speaker 2: him we might be moving too soon by choosing to
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: move in together.
- 1:06:22Speaker 6: He not moving in with you.
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: All y'all been doing is looking at apartments. He can't
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: move in with you because the marriage ain't fizzled. Our check,
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: it's still sparkling. Show dumb self. I agreed that I
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: would put the apartment in all the utilities in my
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: name until his divorce is finalized.
- 1:06:45Speaker 8: They gonna stay in your name even if he do
- 1:06:50Speaker 8: get a divorce. Who who switch?
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: Who switch names on apartments and electric be and all that? Girl,
- 1:07:02Speaker 2: I can't believe you this signat. I told my sister
- 1:07:05Speaker 2: about my excitement over the new guy, and she wanted
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: to meet me. But he said it's best not to
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: invite family into our messed up situation. That's a true
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: statement until he's out of his marriage. My sister took
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: that as a bad sign. Your sister stupid too. She
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: took the fact that he didn't want to meet her
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: as a bad sign. You don't think the bad sign
- 1:07:31Speaker 2: is he married? That ain't a bad sign.
- 1:07:36Speaker 8: Ah, So y'all.
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: Y'all think the bad sign is he didn't want to
- 1:07:39Speaker 2: meet you. The bad sign is he married and he
- 1:07:47Speaker 2: told you he waiting on his marriage to fizzle out.
- 1:07:52Speaker 2: They ain't got no kids yet, so they gonna make
- 1:07:54Speaker 2: a clean break. Let me show you how this marriage
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: fit in the fizzle she fit to get pregnant because
- 1:08:02Speaker 2: the wife don't know nothing about this. This is him
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: telling you that the marriage is fizzling out. I promise
- 1:08:08Speaker 2: you that the wife's sitting over there thinking everything is
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: honky doing. I promise you that. I promise you that
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: all men that's married that's trying to have an affair
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: with a woman gonna tell him something wrong at the house.
- 1:08:21Speaker 2: That's the opening line because we play on the fact
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: that you all are nurturers by nature and y'all always
- 1:08:27Speaker 2: want to fix something.
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: Let me hear him get through with this.
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: I don't think that's the case, because this guy is
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: one that initiated everything. Wait a minute, you don't think
- 1:08:39Speaker 2: that's the case, because he initiated everything. Girl used to
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: He pursued me and told me that I deserve to
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: be treated like a queen. Well, you're not getting treated
- 1:08:51Speaker 2: like a queen though, you don't see that. Meanwhile, my
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: boyfriend does not take me out anymore and he never
- 1:08:59Speaker 2: wants to have set. That's because he having sex somewhere else.
- 1:09:04Speaker 2: Y'all been together three years. All you getting is your
- 1:09:07Speaker 2: breaks fixed and a bracelet. You ain't getting no wed
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: and read because you're having sex with somebody else. Let
- 1:09:13Speaker 2: me tell you how stupid this is. You're in the
- 1:09:16Speaker 2: movie Dumb and Dumble. Yo, Boyfrid is dumb. Your married
- 1:09:23Speaker 2: boyfriend is dumb all and.

- 1:13:05Speaker 11: from Melissa in Clarkston. Malisa says, I've been helping one
- 1:13:09Speaker 11: of my best girlfriends work through her divorce, and I
- 1:13:12Speaker 11: do the drop off and pick up of her son
- 1:13:14Speaker 11: twice a month with her ex husband. It was raining
- 1:13:17Speaker 11: last week, so he invited me inside while he helped
- 1:13:20Speaker 11: his son put his shoes on. His house is nice
- 1:13:23Speaker 11: and his artwork is even nicer. I complimented him on
- 1:13:26Speaker 11: the art, and he asked if I'd be willing to
- 1:13:29Speaker 11: help him.
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: Pick a few more pieces.
- 1:13:31Speaker 11: Everyone knows I'm an art collector, so would I be
- 1:13:35Speaker 11: wrong to go shopping for art with him?
- 1:13:38Speaker 3: You know?
- 1:13:38Speaker 8: Good in hell?
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: Will?
- 1:13:41Speaker 3: What?
- 1:13:41Speaker 8: Lady?
- 1:13:41Speaker 7: What?
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:13:43Speaker 3: You know?
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: Good o' hair will?
- 1:13:45Speaker 2: You're picking up the baby, you over her ex husband
- 1:13:48Speaker 2: house and you're out there shopping.
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: Yes, it's fitting to go all wrong and you know it.
- 1:13:53Speaker 2: Why don't you put in this letter that you really
- 1:13:55Speaker 2: have your eyes on this man because you're single, Timonia.
- 1:13:59Speaker 2: Everybody know I'm an art collector. She don't give a
- 1:14:02Speaker 2: damn if your last name is Picasso. What is your
- 1:14:06Speaker 2: ass helping him fall? And you know were going through
- 1:14:10Speaker 2: a divorce and now you.
- 1:14:11Speaker 8: Over the girl.
- 1:14:13Speaker 2: Lady, Come on now, girl, come on. You already know
- 1:14:16Speaker 2: that ain't cool. But see she wont to go help you.
- 1:14:20Speaker 2: She went in the house. The house is nice, but
- 1:14:22Speaker 2: his heart.
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: See, she just saw herself in there cooking.
- 1:14:25Speaker 8: That's what that is.
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: Oh, it's all right, So what it is?
- 1:14:33Speaker 11: Yeah, you heard him. You'd be wrong for going to
- 1:14:37Speaker 11: shop for art with him. We have time for another one, Steve.
- 1:14:40Speaker 11: This one is from Kwame in Chicago. It says, my
- 1:14:43Speaker 11: girlfriend's job gave her sweet tickets to an NBA game.
- 1:14:47Speaker 11: I'm a black man and she's biracial. She recently got
- 1:14:51Speaker 11: her hair highlighted with ash blonde and I love it.
- 1:14:55Speaker 11: It was her boss's first time seeinger hair, and he
- 1:14:58Speaker 11: asked her if she was embracing her quote white side
- 1:15:01Speaker 11: by going blonde. She laughed it off, but I thought
- 1:15:04Speaker 11: it was very inappropriate. It's her job, so I couldn't
- 1:15:08Speaker 11: check this. Man, why did she let it slide?
- 1:15:11Speaker 8: Well, you said you couldn't check it, check it because
- 1:15:16Speaker 8: it's her job, boss. She probably feel the same way
- 1:15:20Speaker 8: about her job. You should have accidently.
- 1:15:25Speaker 4: Yeah, so what now?
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: So she can't keep being employed?
- 1:15:30Speaker 7: What happened to?
- 1:15:32Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: You don't.
- 1:15:33Speaker 8: It just don't make no sense, though, I don't understand
- 1:15:35Speaker 8: why you will.
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: Why he said that you.
- 1:15:40Speaker 8: Letting your boss make a comment like that. That's totally inappropriate.
- 1:15:45Speaker 3: It is.
- 1:15:46Speaker 8: That's hr complaint, man, It really is a ha complaint.
- 1:15:52Speaker 8: You took the class.
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: H classes. Oh yeah, that's right he did, didn't he?
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: Cause h.
- 1:16:02Speaker 2: I know exactly what I can't say? Whatich your damn
- 1:16:04Speaker 2: than nothing? I didn't let me on this radio show.
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: You're always over the edge always. So he wants to know,
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: why does she let his slide?
- 1:16:20Speaker 3: Dog?
- 1:16:21Speaker 8: What do you want her to do?
- 1:16:22Speaker 2: You didn't do nothing, but you want your girl in
- 1:16:25Speaker 2: a suite at a football game to check her boss
- 1:16:28Speaker 2: about are you embracing your white side? That was an
- 1:16:31Speaker 2: inappropriate comment for your boss to me, and you could
- 1:16:35Speaker 2: and you could say something about it, but no, Well.
- 1:16:38Speaker 11: He didn't want to because it's her job and he
- 1:16:40Speaker 11: didn't want her to get in trouble on the job,
- 1:16:42Speaker 11: either get fired or whatever.
- 1:16:45Speaker 4: Yeah, he didn't want so he wanted her to say something. Yes, Yes,
- 1:16:50Speaker 4: he wanted her to say something. So maybe she'll say
- 1:16:53Speaker 4: something later. Maybe it's not in the moment they get
- 1:16:56Speaker 4: back to work.
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: Yeah, like Steve said, I'll go to HR. Maybe that's
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: what she'll do and say what she needs to say.
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: I want to hear. I don't think later on, well
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: she should go out there just say uh huh.
- 1:17:12Speaker 2: Well, since I'm embracing my white side, I will be
- 1:17:15Speaker 2: reporting this to h R because I'm highly offended and
- 1:17:19Speaker 2: the white woman and me has just decided to address
- 1:17:22Speaker 2: it and kiss my black side. In my black side
- 1:17:28Speaker 2: wants you to kiss the dog parts of me, which.
