- 0:01Speaker 1: So we've been talking about exposing government ways fraud and abuse.
- 0:04Speaker 1: That's what Elon Musk and Doe is doing. But just
- 0:07Speaker 1: how corrupt is our government? Well, they've been giving millions
- 0:10Speaker 1: of dollars to media organizations outside of NPR that clearly
- 0:16Speaker 1: have been writing stories to attack conservatives, the MAGA movement,
- 0:21Speaker 1: Donald Trump. Yesterday, there was an email that went out
- 0:25Speaker 1: to Politico's employees, sent sent it to them yesterday, and
- 0:31Speaker 1: Politico's management blamed the people at Politico not getting paid
- 0:35Speaker 1: yesterday on a glitch, not their government gravy train stopping
- 0:40Speaker 1: the flow of the cash coming in. Now, I want
- 0:42Speaker 1: to read for you what the email apparently says. It says,
- 0:47Speaker 1: dear Team Gully, and I want to address this morning's
- 0:50Speaker 1: payroll issues directly, due to what we believe was a
- 0:53Speaker 1: technical error, employees did not receive their paychecks as scheduled.
- 0:56Speaker 1: We understand the urgency of this matter and sincerely apologize
- 0:59Speaker 1: for the convenience. Yeah, not getting paid, Yeah, it's an inconvenience,
- 1:04Speaker 1: that's for sure. Our team is working diligently with our systems, vendors,
- 1:09Speaker 1: and the bank to identify the cause and implement a solution.
- 1:13Speaker 1: As quickly as possible. We will keep you updated as
- 1:15Speaker 1: we learn more and work to resolve the problem as
- 1:18Speaker 1: quick as possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
- 1:21Speaker 1: If you have any immediate concerns, please please feel free
- 1:24Speaker 1: to reach out directly.
- 1:25Speaker 2: Now, that's what they said.
- 1:28Speaker 1: Whether this is because the gravy train has been turned
- 1:31Speaker 1: off or not, I don't know.
- 1:34Speaker 2: But here's what I do know.
- 1:36Speaker 1: Politico, which is a like quote legitimate news company quote unquote,
- 1:41Speaker 1: a news company. They're not a nonprofit, they're not INNGO,
- 1:43Speaker 1: they're not a government agency which has spent the last
- 1:47Speaker 1: decade destroying Donald Trump, the MAGA movement, anybody associated with them,
- 1:52Speaker 1: just trying to, you know, help lock up people and
- 1:55Speaker 1: saying that the insurrections around you know, January sixth, are
- 1:57Speaker 1: the worst people in the world, right like all those
- 1:59Speaker 1: types of stiff worries. We now have found out that
- 2:03Speaker 1: they have been massively subsidized funded by USAID. Donald Trump
- 2:11Speaker 1: and Elon Musk said, we're stopping that funding. The question
- 2:16Speaker 1: now is will Politico go out of business because of
- 2:19Speaker 1: the amount of money we've been giving them. Now the
- 2:23Speaker 1: total award amount that we're talking about here, and you
- 2:29Speaker 1: look at twenty twenty four, if I'm reading this correctly,
- 2:32Speaker 1: on the US spending dot Gov, there has been a
- 2:35Speaker 1: total of at least eight point two million dollars of
- 2:39Speaker 1: your tax dollars going to Politico in the form of
- 2:42Speaker 1: two hundred and thirty seven transactions.
- 2:45Speaker 2: Now below that, there's another category.
- 2:47Speaker 1: If you go to US spending dot gov face value
- 2:50Speaker 1: of loans zero dollars from zero transactions. So these are
- 2:54Speaker 1: not loans. This is just straight up money that is
- 3:00Speaker 1: going to subsidize Politico. Eight point two million dollars of
- 3:05Speaker 1: your tax dours that went to them. I think we
- 3:10Speaker 1: can all agree that your tax dollurs should not be
- 3:14Speaker 1: going to Politico. Now, let's go back to one of
- 3:17Speaker 1: the core headlines in Politico that you need to know
- 3:19Speaker 1: about to put it in perspective what you've been paying for,
- 3:22Speaker 1: like the journalism you've been subsidizing. The federal money started
- 3:28Speaker 1: pouring into Politico, and it actually increased exponentially after they
- 3:36Speaker 1: successfully laundered the deep state CIA election rigging propaganda against
- 3:42Speaker 1: Donald Trump. The headline that I want to bring up
- 3:46Speaker 1: to prove this is their national security headline that Politico ran.
- 3:51Speaker 1: This is what they said okay, and again, the amount
- 3:55Speaker 1: of the federal funds that began pouring into Politico inc.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Prees exponentially after this story. You ready for it, Hunter
- 4:05Speaker 1: Biden's story is Russian disinfo. Dozens of former intel officials
- 4:12Speaker 1: say this is under national security. Politico then their byline
- 4:16Speaker 1: below that reads this way, more than fifty former intelligence
- 4:22Speaker 1: officials signed a letter casting doubt on this New York
- 4:26Speaker 1: Post story on the former vice president's son, paraphrasing, So
- 4:34Speaker 1: you got Politico that writes a article that is a lie,
- 4:39Speaker 1: and it's a lie that they were willing to sell
- 4:42Speaker 1: on behalf of the Democratic Party and the fifty former
- 4:45Speaker 1: intelligence officials who, by the way, I've lost their security
- 4:48Speaker 1: clearance and we know they lied to us, and they
- 4:50Speaker 1: were willing to tell you the Hunter Biden story was
- 4:52Speaker 1: Russian disinfo and it wasn't real. And then after they
- 4:56Speaker 1: write that article, the federal government through usaid he is like, oh, hey, political,
- 5:01Speaker 1: we'd love to send you a bunch of money, like
- 5:02Speaker 1: millions of dollars. You guys are doing great work. We
- 5:04Speaker 1: want to keep the money flowing in. This is maybe
- 5:08Speaker 1: the biggest scandal about the corrupt media that I've ever seen.
- 5:14Speaker 1: The only thing worst in political interference is government taxpayer
- 5:19Speaker 1: funded election interference. That is what was paid for to Politico.
- 5:25Speaker 1: It was government taxpayer funded election interference. There was a
- 5:29Speaker 1: real story, the KNW was real story. Politico wrote a
- 5:31Speaker 1: storytelling you it's not real. It's Russian dis info. Fifty
- 5:34Speaker 1: intelligence officers. They didn't do They just they just went
- 5:36Speaker 1: with it. You know, government's saying this is what we
- 5:38Speaker 1: need you to write. They're like, we got it, we'll
- 5:40Speaker 1: do it. And then the government said here's your payoff
- 5:43Speaker 1: eight point two million dollars. Politico then spent years after
- 5:48Speaker 1: that attacking conservatives the MAGA movement, and the money kept
- 5:54Speaker 1: going up. So the more they attacked conservatives and the
- 5:59Speaker 1: MAGA movement, the more money they were given from the government.
- 6:06Speaker 2: There's also something else that was interesting.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Politico apparently received and a lot of this is coming
- 6:11Speaker 1: from the website, so I'm just giving it to you.
- 6:14Speaker 1: They received eight hundred and sixty two thousand dollars in
- 6:18Speaker 1: change from the National Park Service in a no compete
- 6:21Speaker 1: subscription contract over four years. You want to know why
- 6:26Speaker 1: Democrats are so anxious overdoge because they were buying the
- 6:31Speaker 1: press to attack US President Trump back to what he
- 6:37Speaker 1: was saying about government waste and abuse and fraud. He's
- 6:41Speaker 1: got something to say now about what they're doing with
- 6:44Speaker 1: a big project that hasn't happened, the high speed rail
- 6:48Speaker 1: project in California. The President saying this and the Oval Office.
- 6:53Speaker 3: One of the things I want to investigate rapidly because
- 6:56Speaker 3: I've never seen anything to this extent. The train that's
- 7:00Speaker 3: being built between Los Angeles and San Francisco is the
- 7:05Speaker 3: worst managed project I think I've ever seen, and I've
- 7:08Speaker 3: seen some of the worst. Billions and billions, hundreds of
- 7:12Speaker 3: billions of dollars over budget. In fact, I read where
- 7:15Speaker 3: you could take every single person that was going to
- 7:18Speaker 3: go on the train and get the finest limousine service
- 7:21Speaker 3: in the world and take them back and forth with limousines,
- 7:24Speaker 3: and you'd have hundreds of billions of dollars left over.
- 7:27Speaker 3: It is the worst thing, and we're going to start
- 7:29Speaker 3: an investigation of that because it's not possible. I built
- 7:33Speaker 3: for a living, and I built on time on budget.
- 7:36Speaker 3: It's impossible that something could cost that much. And now
- 7:40Speaker 3: it's not even going to San Francisco and it's not
- 7:42Speaker 3: going to Los Angeles. They made it much shorter. So
- 7:46Speaker 3: now it's at little places way away from San Francisco
- 7:50Speaker 3: and way away from Los Angeles. No, We're going to
- 7:54Speaker 3: start a big investigation on that because I've never seen
- 7:58Speaker 3: anything like it. Nobody I've ever seen anything like it.
- 8:01Speaker 3: The worst overruns that there have ever been in the
- 8:04Speaker 3: history of our country.
- 8:07Speaker 1: The worst overruns we've ever seen in our country. Now,
- 8:10Speaker 1: he's right, like this is insane. I built for a living,
- 8:13Speaker 1: he said, I built on time, on budget. It's impossible
- 8:16Speaker 1: that something could cost us much. So how much corruption
- 8:20Speaker 1: is there? And the headlines in California are very clear.
- 8:24Speaker 1: Despite some progress, the state's high speed rail is one
- 8:27Speaker 1: hundred billion short and many years from reality. Okay, so
- 8:34Speaker 1: if that is the case, what happened to the money?
- 8:39Speaker 2: Where did it go?
- 8:40Speaker 1: Donald Trump making it clear that this is a problem
- 8:45Speaker 1: because our tax dollars continue to go to waste, fraud,
- 8:51Speaker 1: and abuse. You'll look at all of the money that
- 8:56Speaker 1: we're finding out where it's going, and I think what
- 9:00Speaker 1: we're going to find out is even more corruption. We
- 9:03Speaker 1: also have been told that there may even be movie
- 9:06Speaker 1: stars that were paid by US aid to go around
- 9:10Speaker 1: the world. Movie stars like big money that is some
- 9:15Speaker 1: of that's coming out right now, like this is some
- 9:18Speaker 1: of the corruption. And you go back to Politico for example,
- 9:22Speaker 1: and the corruption with media and the AP getting money
- 9:24Speaker 1: from USAID subsidizing their attacks on conservatives. White House Press
- 9:30Speaker 1: Secretary was asked about that today.
- 9:32Speaker 4: So upon coming out here to the briefing room, I
- 9:35Speaker 4: was made aware of the funding from USAID to media outlets,
- 9:40Speaker 4: including Politico, who I know has a seat in this room.
- 9:44Speaker 4: And I can confirm that the more than eight million
- 9:47Speaker 4: taxpayer dollars that have gone to essentially subsidizing subscriptions to Politico,
- 9:51Speaker 4: the American taxpayer's dying will no longer be happening. The
- 9:54Speaker 4: dog's team is working on canceling those payments.
- 9:57Speaker 1: Now.
- 9:57Speaker 4: Again, this is a whole of government effort to ensure
- 10:00Speaker 4: or that we are going line by line when it
- 10:04Speaker 4: comes to the federal of government's books, and this president
- 10:07Speaker 4: and his team are are making decisions across the board
- 10:11Speaker 4: on do these receipts serve the interests of the American people.
- 10:16Speaker 4: Is this a good use of the American taxpayers money.
- 10:18Speaker 4: If it is not, that funding will no longer be
- 10:21Speaker 4: sent abroad and American taxpayers will see significant savings because
- 10:25Speaker 4: of that effort.
- 10:26Speaker 1: One of the things in a word that she just
- 10:27Speaker 1: used there, but one of the things you noticed here
- 10:30Speaker 1: she said eight million dollars on subscriptions to Politico online logins.
- 10:37Speaker 1: That is subsidizing the media. Like, there's no way that
- 10:41Speaker 1: this isn't just pure corruption. And if you're if eight
- 10:44Speaker 1: million dollars is what you're on the take from the
- 10:47Speaker 1: federal government to then trash the opponent of the people
- 10:51Speaker 1: that are in charge they're giving this money, that is
- 10:54Speaker 1: pay to pay propaganda. This is state sponsored propaganda. It's
- 11:00Speaker 1: what I've been telling you has been happening with the
- 11:02Speaker 1: media for a long time. This is state sponsored propaganda.
- 11:07Speaker 1: We're also being told that the New York Times is
- 11:10Speaker 1: being government funded as well. The US government gave the
- 11:14Speaker 1: New York Times tens of millions of dollars just over
- 11:17Speaker 1: the past five years, despite paying relatively little money to
- 11:21Speaker 1: the New York Times in the past years preceding twenty
- 11:24Speaker 1: twenty one. What happened they started going after Donald Trump
- 11:29Speaker 1: and anyone around them that they said take them out, Like, again,
- 11:33Speaker 1: this is state sponsored.
- 11:37Speaker 2: Is it?
- 11:38Speaker 1: I'm not even sure it's state sponsored media. It's a
- 11:40Speaker 1: hit list. We're gonna pay you to take down and
- 11:43Speaker 1: tear down the other side, like that's a hit list.
- 11:46Speaker 1: It's like assassinations on a conservative party. We want you
- 11:52Speaker 1: to get rid of these people from the norm. We
- 11:55Speaker 1: want you to turn them into racist, bigots and homophobes.
- 11:58Speaker 2: Right.
- 11:58Speaker 1: Well, that's what the government's been doing, that's what they've
- 12:00Speaker 1: been paying for. So let's talk about The New York Times.
- 12:03Speaker 1: Apparently tens of millions of dollars over the past five years.
- 12:07Speaker 1: In August twenty twenty four, the US government awarded another
- 12:11Speaker 1: four point one million dollars to The New York Times.
- 12:15Speaker 1: The bulk of the funds came from the US Department
- 12:17Speaker 1: of Health and Human Services at twenty six point nine million,
- 12:22Speaker 1: followed by the National Science Foundation.
- 12:24Speaker 2: At nineteen point one million dollars.
- 12:29Speaker 1: These payments that we're finding out that went to The
- 12:31Speaker 1: New York Times are just paid to play. Let me
- 12:35Speaker 1: give you another example. National Aeronautics and Space Administration has
- 12:39Speaker 1: paid three point eight two million. I wonder how many
- 12:43Speaker 1: negative articles The New York Times has written or positive
- 12:45Speaker 1: articles they've written about any space program that liberals wanted
- 12:51Speaker 1: the Department of Commerce. I think they've got any bad
- 12:54Speaker 1: articles written about them from The New York Times. No,
- 12:56Speaker 1: because they paid them two and a half million dollars
- 12:58Speaker 1: of your money in twenty I mean, this is twenty
- 13:01Speaker 1: twenty four. DoD paid two point three four million to
- 13:06Speaker 1: the New York Times, Department of Treasury half a million,
- 13:10Speaker 1: the sec for Goodness sakes three hundred and forty four thousand,
- 13:13Speaker 1: the DOJ more than a quarter million, State Department more
- 13:17Speaker 1: than two hundred thousand, and the Department of Veterans Affairs
- 13:20Speaker 1: one hundred and seventy seven thousand. I wonder how many
- 13:22Speaker 1: stories got killed that would have made the Department of
- 13:25Speaker 1: Veterans Affairs look bad. This is the government saying, we're
- 13:29Speaker 1: gonna prop you up as long as you write the
- 13:32Speaker 1: stories we need you to write. We need you to
- 13:34Speaker 1: write pro Ukraine stories, We need you to write anti
- 13:38Speaker 1: Trump stories, we need you to write anti Elon Musk propaganda.
- 13:42Speaker 1: Now it all makes a lot of sense, right, because
- 13:44Speaker 1: we have an unlimited amount of money to throw around.
- 13:46Speaker 1: That's what the government was saying to The New York Times, Politico,
- 13:49Speaker 1: the Associated Press, and the timeline clearly also lines up
- 13:54Speaker 1: when the war in Ukraine began. So the US government said, hey,
- 13:59Speaker 1: we want you to sell the propaganda that this war
- 14:02Speaker 1: with Ukraine is good for America, for us to stand
- 14:06Speaker 1: with them and send them on limited funds. And all
- 14:08Speaker 1: of these organizations started writing the pro Ukraine stories right
- 14:14Speaker 1: and propping up Zolenski, not talking about corruption, not talking
- 14:19Speaker 1: about the fraud and abuse of your dollars that are
- 14:21Speaker 1: going there. And so we paid, or the government your
- 14:25Speaker 1: dollars paid the New York Times to write articles talking
- 14:29Speaker 1: about how great Zelensky is and why your money should
- 14:32Speaker 1: go there and why you should stand with them. Let
- 14:35Speaker 1: me give you another example of how bad the money is.
- 14:38Speaker 1: Zelensky is now claiming that Ukraine received less than half
- 14:43Speaker 1: of the US aid that we have sent to the country.
- 14:47Speaker 1: So where to go, Well, it went to corrupt oligarchs
- 14:49Speaker 1: and people around Zelensky. I have no doubt about that.
- 14:52Speaker 1: He's claiming he doesn't know where all the money went.
- 14:56Speaker 1: The Ukrainian president has said that his country has only
- 14:59Speaker 1: received seventy eight billion in aid from the United States,
- 15:04Speaker 1: despite America authorizing one hundred and seventy five billion to
- 15:09Speaker 1: support the war torn country. So to be clear, Zelensky's saying,
- 15:14Speaker 1: you guys, send us one hundred billion dollars and we
- 15:16Speaker 1: don't know where it went. In this interview with the
- 15:19Speaker 1: Associated Press, which is sponsored by our government state sponsored propaganda,
- 15:24Speaker 1: we've been paying the Associated Press millions of dollars. They
- 15:29Speaker 1: published this interview over the weekend. Zelensky says he doesn't
- 15:32Speaker 1: know where most of the money the United States allocated
- 15:34Speaker 1: under the Biden administration to Ukraine has gone. When I
- 15:38Speaker 1: hear both in the past and even now from the
- 15:40Speaker 1: US that America has provided Ukraine with hundreds of billions
- 15:44Speaker 1: as the president of a nation at war, Zelensky said,
- 15:48Speaker 1: I can tell you we actually received only about seventy
- 15:50Speaker 1: five billion. He said, we're talking about tangible things because
- 15:54Speaker 1: this aid didn't come as cash, but rather as weapons,
- 15:57Speaker 1: which amount to about seventy billions.
- 15:59Speaker 2: So we're missing a hundred billion.
- 16:00Speaker 1: But when it's said that Ukraine received two hundred billions,
- 16:03Speaker 1: Lelensky says to support the army during the war, that's
- 16:05Speaker 1: not true. I don't know where all that money went,
- 16:09Speaker 1: Zelensky admitted. Perhaps it's true on paper, with hundreds of
- 16:14Speaker 1: different programs. Lelensky said, I won't argue, so he's admitting
- 16:18Speaker 1: one hundred billion just disappeared, and we're immensely grateful for everything,
- 16:24Speaker 1: but in reality, we just received seventy eight excuse me,
- 16:28Speaker 1: seventy six billion, not two hundred billion and eight. The
- 16:33Speaker 1: Ukrainian leader suggested that perhaps the additional funds went to quote,
- 16:36Speaker 1: humanitarian programs. That's the easiest way to funnel money to
- 16:40Speaker 1: his rich oligarch friends, many of them that are in
- 16:43Speaker 1: Warsaw hanging out in five star hotels. Many of the
- 16:46Speaker 1: richest in Ukraine and the government and the oligarchs in
- 16:49Speaker 1: Ukraine don't live in Ukraine right now. Their families are
- 16:51Speaker 1: in Warsaw, in five star hotels and villas. How are
- 16:55Speaker 1: they paying for it? Follow the humanitarian programs is what
- 16:59Speaker 1: I would say. He says he was informed about except
- 17:02Speaker 1: for knowing of their existence, but he doesn't know how
- 17:04Speaker 1: much money went into those programs, And then Zelensky said this,
- 17:09Speaker 1: Perhaps the US president's administration will audit these programs and
- 17:13Speaker 1: find additional billions, But I don't know where those funds went.
- 17:19Speaker 1: I have one question. I wonder how much that money
- 17:22Speaker 1: may have gone back to the Biden crime family.
- 17:24Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 17:25Speaker 1: I'm just asking for a bunch of taxpayers in this country.
- 17:30Speaker 1: You remember that company named Meta, You know, the company
- 17:32Speaker 1: that owns Facebook. You know the company that had no
- 17:35Speaker 1: problem suspending the account of the sitting president of United
- 17:39Speaker 1: States of America back in twenty twenty one, guy by
- 17:42Speaker 1: the name of Donald Trump after the insurrection at the Capitol.
- 17:46Speaker 1: Of course, remember when that happened, Well, there was a
- 17:50Speaker 1: lawsuit around it. We now know who is right and
- 17:53Speaker 1: who was wrong. Meta is now agreeing to pay millions
- 17:56Speaker 1: to settle that Trump lawsuit over his suspended accounts. So
- 18:00Speaker 1: NBC News breaking the big news earlier tonight that Meta
- 18:05Speaker 1: has now agreed to pay Donald Trump.
- 18:06Speaker 2: Take a listen.
- 18:07Speaker 5: President Trump, we've learned has signed an agreement with Meta
- 18:11Speaker 5: to settle a lawsuit that he filed against the company
- 18:14Speaker 5: for suspending his account after the attack on the Capitol
- 18:17Speaker 5: on January sixth, four years ago. The settlement, we understand
- 18:20Speaker 5: it to be twenty five million dollars, most of which
- 18:23Speaker 5: is going towards his future presidential library.
- 18:26Speaker 2: This story first was reported.
- 18:28Speaker 5: By The Wall Street Journal. Meta says it has no
- 18:29Speaker 5: comment on that, but says they can confirm that twenty
- 18:32Speaker 5: two million dollar number to the Trump Library. Garrett Hayk
- 18:35Speaker 5: is at the White House, Garrett, this is so interesting
- 18:38Speaker 5: for a lot of reasons here, and I know you've
- 18:40Speaker 5: just confirmed this with some with some with some of
- 18:42Speaker 5: your sources here, it's our understanding. I think that President
- 18:45Speaker 5: Trump like signed this settlement that has to do with
- 18:47Speaker 5: META and the attack on the Capitol sitting in the
- 18:49Speaker 5: Oval office today.
- 18:51Speaker 6: Well, it looks like a lot of this was discussed, apparently,
- 18:54Speaker 6: according to the Wall Street Journal sources, a detail that
- 18:56Speaker 6: I've yet to confirm but hope to nail down shortly
- 18:59Speaker 6: during the time that he was being sentenced during the
- 19:02Speaker 6: transition on the New York City hush money case. So yeah, look,
- 19:06Speaker 6: the top line number here is extraordinary, twenty five million dollars.
- 19:09Speaker 6: Most of that money going to this fund that, as
- 19:12Speaker 6: best I can tell, doesn't actually exist yet for a
- 19:14Speaker 6: future Trump presidential library. You'll remember that that's what happened
- 19:18Speaker 6: with the defamation settlement that the President won against ABC
- 19:21Speaker 6: and ABC News sort of the start of funding this
- 19:25Speaker 6: library tends to be coming from these lawsuits at the president.
- 19:28Speaker 1: By the way, can we just pause and just celebrate
- 19:31Speaker 1: the fact that the Trump Presidential Library is an essence
- 19:36Speaker 1: going to be built by the media that lied to him,
- 19:39Speaker 1: lied about him, slandered him, and through these lawsuits where
- 19:44Speaker 1: he's like, all right, we'll see in court. I mean,
- 19:46Speaker 1: you could say that this library is going to have
- 19:48Speaker 1: eight what is it, a ABC wing, a Meta Facebook wing,
- 19:54Speaker 1: and there's others out there, by the way, But this
- 19:57Speaker 1: is a lot of money. Twenty two million going to
- 19:59Speaker 1: fund the Trump Presidential Library, and the balance dedicated legal
- 20:04Speaker 1: fees and other plaintiffs in the case. Now, Meta didn't
- 20:08Speaker 1: have to admit wrongdoing. I don't care if they admit
- 20:13Speaker 1: wrongdoing or not. We know why Meta is paying this
- 20:16Speaker 1: money because they absolutely did something that was wrong. And
- 20:23Speaker 1: the CEO is now saying, all right, well, you're in charge,
- 20:25Speaker 1: so I'm gonna hang out with you and come to
- 20:27Speaker 1: the inauguration and sit in the prime seat for the
- 20:30Speaker 1: swearing in, and then I'm gonna give you twenty five
- 20:32Speaker 1: million or twenty two million for your library. That's what
- 20:37Speaker 1: That's what we're doing here. This is, by the way,
- 20:39Speaker 1: how you beat them. Donald Trump is going all in
- 20:43Speaker 1: to hold them accountable. He's not holding back. He's doing
- 20:47Speaker 1: the same thing with the government right now. He's doing
- 20:50Speaker 1: the same thing to make sure that people are held
- 20:55Speaker 1: accountable for the corruption in our government when you're sending
- 20:59Speaker 1: money by the tens of millions to the media, so
- 21:02Speaker 1: they write stories about the left wing of the Democratic
- 21:07Speaker 1: Party and they attack their political opponents. This is what
- 21:10Speaker 1: happens in Russia and Cuba and China. It should never
- 21:13Speaker 1: happen in America. Donald Trump getting rid of government waste, fraud,
- 21:18Speaker 1: and abuse through USA and other programs.
- 21:21Speaker 2: We're now also hearing more.
- 21:22Speaker 1: About the White House's plan for the US involvement in
- 21:25Speaker 1: the rebuilding efforts in Gaza. By the way, there's a
- 21:31Speaker 1: lot of people asking about, well, should we be doing it?
- 21:34Speaker 1: How much is it going to cost? Is that where
- 21:37Speaker 1: we want our money to be spent? The White House
- 21:42Speaker 1: sang the US involvement in rebuilding efforts does not mean
- 21:46Speaker 1: commitment of troops or taxpayer dollars in Gaza. They clarified
- 21:51Speaker 1: that earlier. The White House made it clear that the
- 21:54Speaker 1: US involvement in rebuilding Gaza does not mean a commitment
- 21:58Speaker 1: to send any troops or using any of your tax
- 22:01Speaker 1: dollars for the effort. The White House pressing or Terry
- 22:04Speaker 1: Caroline Levitt filled it a question from NBC News's senior
- 22:08Speaker 1: White House correspondent early in the briefing, after Donald Trump
- 22:11Speaker 1: said Tuesday that the United States would take over the
- 22:14Speaker 1: Gaza Strip. Trump also said his vision included moving Gozins
- 22:17Speaker 1: to nearby Arab nations, which Levitt said Wednesday would be
- 22:21Speaker 1: quote unquote temporary. They also said that Trump's vision could
- 22:25Speaker 1: intail boots on the ground in nation building. That is
- 22:28Speaker 1: how NBC News frame the question. What did Caroline sand
- 22:32Speaker 1: response quote, I would reject the premise of your question
- 22:35Speaker 1: that this forces the United States to be entangled in
- 22:38Speaker 1: conflicts abroad. The President has not committed to putting boots
- 22:42Speaker 1: on the ground in Gaza. He has also said that
- 22:46Speaker 1: the United States is not going to pay for rebuilding
- 22:49Speaker 1: of Gaza. She had that the administration would work with
- 22:52Speaker 1: him Middle least allies to reconstruct this region. Levitt also
- 22:56Speaker 1: emphasized that while it may be an out of the
- 22:58Speaker 1: box idea, the American people elected Trump because he thinks
- 23:02Speaker 1: outside the box. Quote and let me just take a
- 23:05Speaker 1: step back here, because this is an out of the
- 23:07Speaker 1: box idea. That's who President Trump is, That's why the
- 23:11Speaker 1: American people elected him, and his goal is lasting peace
- 23:14Speaker 1: in the Middle East for all people in the region.
- 23:18Speaker 1: She added that the American involvement means the President will
- 23:20Speaker 1: use his deal making prowess to strike a deal with
- 23:23Speaker 1: our partners in the region. Responding to a follow up question,
- 23:27Speaker 1: she also knows the President has spoken to leaders in
- 23:29Speaker 1: the region about his expectations that particularly Egypt and Jordan
- 23:34Speaker 1: will accept Palastinian refugees temporarily so they can rebuild their homes.
- 23:38Speaker 1: Trump has been mulling over the plan for a while.
- 23:41Speaker 1: She went on to say, including sin seeing images of
- 23:44Speaker 1: the well pure rubble that is Gaza right now from
- 23:48Speaker 1: Special Envoy to the Middle East and the visit to
- 23:51Speaker 1: the region last month, according to the White House Press Secretary,
- 23:55Speaker 1: so the media.
- 23:56Speaker 2: Wanted you to think this was going to be nation.
- 23:58Speaker 1: Building, that we were going to like own this, We're
- 24:00Speaker 1: going to be seeing troops that we're going to be
- 24:02Speaker 1: paying your tax dollars to actually do all this. The
- 24:07Speaker 1: clear report now is that is not the case, and
- 24:10Speaker 1: the media is in fact lying to you. Now, there's
- 24:14Speaker 1: also something else that came out of this fun came
- 24:18Speaker 1: out Center thun On meeting with Netanyahu's saying the Democrats
- 24:22Speaker 1: anti Israel behavior will not deter the US from supporting Israel.
- 24:26Speaker 1: That was the message coming from the Senate majority leader,
- 24:30Speaker 1: and he will meet with the Israeli Prime Minister tomorrow
- 24:33Speaker 1: at the US Capitol. He said, this meeting, which you hope,
- 24:37Speaker 1: is about America and conveying the importance of this US
- 24:41Speaker 1: Israel ties and also to deepen the peace talks.
- 24:45Speaker 2: In the region.
- 24:46Speaker 1: Fun in an interview said ahead of the meeting that
- 24:48Speaker 1: he will convey that to Netanyahu that despite Democrats in Congress,
- 24:53Speaker 1: including particularly in the US Senate, repeatedly finding themselves on
- 24:56Speaker 1: the opposite side of Israel and that the United States
- 24:59Speaker 1: is not with them, the United States stands firmly with Israel,
- 25:03Speaker 1: and that's why Donald Trump was elected. Democrats, of course,
- 25:07Speaker 1: recently voted in the US Senate to take a plan
- 25:09Speaker 1: to sanction the International Criminal Court known as the ICC.
- 25:15Speaker 1: Israel is the US's greatest ally in the Middle East,
- 25:18Speaker 1: and the Democrats this last year have been very divided
- 25:22Speaker 1: in supporting Israel throughout the conflict.
- 25:24Speaker 2: Is what Thune said to Breitbart News. They seem to.
- 25:27Speaker 1: Find more things like common cause with Hamas and some
- 25:31Speaker 1: of these folks in the region that are responsible for
- 25:34Speaker 1: the October seventh attack. If you recall this last summer,
- 25:39Speaker 1: the last time Prime Minster Netya, who was in the Capitol,
- 25:42Speaker 1: there were a lot of Democrats, including the Vice Vice
- 25:45Speaker 1: President Harry, who boycotted his appearance.
- 25:48Speaker 2: This time.
- 25:50Speaker 1: The Prime Minister's visit follows the Democrats vote last week
- 25:53Speaker 1: to prop an illegitimate court, the ICC up because Democrats
- 25:59Speaker 1: didn't want to defend Israel's sovereignty or American troops have
- 26:03Speaker 1: been targeted by the ICC in the past. So if
- 26:07Speaker 1: and when they decide that they want to take real
- 26:09Speaker 1: action to protect our allies and prevent future targeting of
- 26:12Speaker 1: American citizens, we're here for that.
- 26:14Speaker 2: Then went on to say, but.
- 26:15Speaker 1: Until then, we're going to continue to do everything we
- 26:18Speaker 1: can without Democrats to defend our allies and also our nation.
- 26:24Speaker 1: I think tomorrow that will be revisited in the meeting
- 26:28Speaker 1: with the Prime Minister. Now, President Trump back in the
- 26:31Speaker 1: White House has made it clear that there are a
- 26:33Speaker 1: lot of Middle Eastern leaders from across the region that
- 26:36Speaker 1: are hopeful there is a pathway to peace. Donald Trump
- 26:40Speaker 1: has said he wants there to be peace. Donald Trump,
- 26:44Speaker 1: as we saw it in his first term through things
- 26:47Speaker 1: like the Abraham Accords, this is an individual that doesn't
- 26:51Speaker 1: like war. This is the guy who says, I'm also
- 26:53Speaker 1: fighting very hard to end the war between Ukraine and Russia.
- 26:56Speaker 1: And so when you look at what the president is
- 26:59Speaker 1: actually trying to do, I think it's pretty darn clear.
- 27:02Speaker 1: There's also something else that was said in this interview,
- 27:06Speaker 1: and Thune put it this way. He said, quote, of course,
- 27:08Speaker 1: Abraham Accords, negotiated by President Trump in his first term,
- 27:11Speaker 1: were historic in terms of some of the relationships they
- 27:13Speaker 1: built out in the region of the world. I think
- 27:17Speaker 1: my focus in this visit is in being a reliable,
- 27:22Speaker 1: unwavering partner too, and a friend of Israel, something that
- 27:27Speaker 1: they did not have clearly in the last administration. He
- 27:30Speaker 1: went on to say, we want to talk about getting
- 27:32Speaker 1: all the hostages home and how we support Israel as
- 27:36Speaker 1: it works to end once and for all the threats
- 27:38Speaker 1: from hamas Hesblah and the hoodies. He went on to
- 27:42Speaker 1: say that Iran and its shadow of terror government in
- 27:46Speaker 1: the region is another problem, and we've got to make
- 27:49Speaker 1: sure they can't expand we've got to make sure we
- 27:52Speaker 1: expand on the historic success of the Abraham Accords to
- 27:54Speaker 1: try to create a safer and more prosperous future in
- 27:57Speaker 1: that region. So he said this is what they're going
- 27:59Speaker 1: to be talking about now. To be clear, there's a
- 28:01Speaker 1: lot of senators on Thursday that are going to be
- 28:05Speaker 1: meeting with net Yahoo. Many of them are also going
- 28:09Speaker 1: to have we not many, a few that I know
- 28:11Speaker 1: personally are going to be even having one on one
- 28:14Speaker 1: meetings with net Yahoo. And this is I think a
- 28:19Speaker 1: very big turning point in America's foreign policy. What we're
- 28:23Speaker 1: going to see here and what we're witnessing is when
- 28:26Speaker 1: you let Israel hang out to dry the way that
- 28:29Speaker 1: the last administration did for four years, and then you
- 28:31Speaker 1: see what happened on October the seventh, and then you
- 28:33Speaker 1: see the Democratic Party still not backing Israel, our most
- 28:36Speaker 1: important ally in the region. There is going to have
- 28:40Speaker 1: to be something that changes moving forward. There is going
- 28:45Speaker 1: to be something that has to change for them to
- 28:48Speaker 1: know that, look, A, we trust America again. B. We
- 28:51Speaker 1: know you stand with us and not against us, which
- 28:53Speaker 1: is what the last administration was doing. And so this
- 28:57Speaker 1: is I think a clear message of the world from
- 29:00Speaker 1: and this Trump administration. Do not screw with our ally
- 29:02Speaker 1: because we have their back. We are not gonna let
- 29:04Speaker 1: them be out there by themselves. The last administration did
- 29:08Speaker 1: that we're not. So you mess with Israel, you're messing
- 29:12Speaker 1: with America. I think that's part of the messaging we're
- 29:14Speaker 1: seeing here, and it's an important one. The second one
- 29:17Speaker 1: is we absolutely want there to be piece in the
- 29:20Speaker 1: Middle least, and we're gonna work for that. We know
- 29:22Speaker 1: there's gonna need to be rebuilding and we're gonna help
- 29:24Speaker 1: brok those deals. Is Amir gonna pay the whole bill
- 29:26Speaker 1: or part of the bill or a large part of
- 29:28Speaker 1: the bill. Probably not, But we're willing to sit down
- 29:31Speaker 1: and say for others in the region, like you need
- 29:33Speaker 1: to step up. This is your next door neighbor, this
- 29:35Speaker 1: is your uh, this is an area that you need
- 29:38Speaker 1: to be rebuilt. And unfortunately, the terrorists did this to themselves,
- 29:42Speaker 1: and many of the people that support the terrorists did
- 29:44Speaker 1: this to themselves. They lost their homes because they stood
- 29:47Speaker 1: with the terrorists. And that is also a reality of
- 29:49Speaker 1: the situation. But these meetings and standing there with Netanyahu
- 29:55Speaker 1: and the way that the President talked with them in
- 29:56Speaker 1: the joint press conference and talking about a hope in
- 29:59Speaker 1: the future where there's peace, that's something everybody should be
- 30:02Speaker 1: excited about, Like everyone should be fired up for that
- 30:08Speaker 1: they should be excited. I also think Netnahoo coming here
- 30:11Speaker 1: so quickly and being the first foreign leader to sit
- 30:15Speaker 1: down in this way with Donald Trump was no accident.
- 30:20Speaker 1: Donald Trump and netnaw who knew this needed to be
- 30:22Speaker 1: the first one. It needed to be a clear change
- 30:27Speaker 1: in America's foreign policy, a new warning to the rest
- 30:33Speaker 1: of the world. And also I think it's a very
- 30:36Speaker 1: clear message to the anti Semitic individuals in Congress that
- 30:41Speaker 1: your time being in the majority is over. Now shut
- 30:44Speaker 1: up and sit down at the back of the room.
- 30:45Speaker 6: Now.
- 30:45Speaker 1: I don't think they're going to do that, Okay. I
- 30:47Speaker 1: think they're going to still be anti Semiticas they've always been.
- 30:49Speaker 1: I think the Squad's going to be anti Semitica as
- 30:50Speaker 1: they've always been. They'll probably get louder, and I think
- 30:54Speaker 1: you're going to have a lot of protesters on college
- 30:56Speaker 1: campuses that are going to stand with the terrorists and
- 30:59Speaker 1: stand against America against Israel. That's gonna happen, but there
- 31:03Speaker 1: may be real consequences for those actions.
- 31:05Speaker 2: Now.
- 31:06Speaker 1: There wasn't before, but there's probably gonna be real consequences
- 31:10Speaker 1: moving forward. We're going to cover it all every day
- 31:13Speaker 1: for you. Make sure you hit that subscribe auto download button,
- 31:16Speaker 1: and I will see you back here tomorrow on the
