- 2:03Speaker 2: Good morning, everybody. Are you listening to the voice? Come on,
- 2:07Speaker 2: dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey got a
- 2:11Speaker 2: radio show. Okay, I got something for you today. I'm
- 2:19Speaker 2: gonna have a conversation this morning about my understanding of
- 2:23Speaker 2: grace now that I've gotten older and I've come into
- 2:27Speaker 2: a better understanding of a lot of things I didn't
- 2:30Speaker 2: know about when I was younger. This is just my
- 2:34Speaker 2: interpretation of grace. Now once again, y'all listen to me.
- 2:39Speaker 2: I ain't nobody's pastor, I ain't nobody's minister. So you know,
- 2:43Speaker 2: I'm pretty sure you can go to church and get
- 2:46Speaker 2: a far more extensive definition of one I'm giving you.
- 2:49Speaker 2: I'm just talking to people. You know. Grace is this
- 2:53Speaker 2: thing that God provides for us, and grace is just
- 3:02Speaker 2: things that you get that's really undeserving, you know. I mean,
- 3:06Speaker 2: I look in my life as it is today. You know, Look,
- 3:09Speaker 2: I work hard and I have faith in God that
- 3:12Speaker 2: I do so things are going to happen in my life.
- 3:15Speaker 2: But the way my life is now, I don't.
- 3:18Speaker 8: Don't.
- 3:18Speaker 2: I don't deserve all of this. I don't. I don't
- 3:21Speaker 2: look at it that way. I have been the beneficiary
- 3:25Speaker 2: of God's grace. I have aligned myself in a position
- 3:30Speaker 2: to accept whatever grace God has for me, and it
- 3:34Speaker 2: will be far abundant and exceedingly in anything you could
- 3:39Speaker 2: think of. His grace supersedes anything you could possibly imagine.
- 3:46Speaker 2: You know, the goals that I set and the aspirations
- 3:48Speaker 2: that I shoot for, and the things that I have
- 3:50Speaker 2: on my dream board. I have the faith that God
- 3:53Speaker 2: will give it to me. But what He does with grace,
- 3:55Speaker 2: he gives you far more than that. He gives you
- 3:58Speaker 2: what He has for you, not what you can see.
- 4:02Speaker 2: You can't see all he has for you. It's impossible.
- 4:05Speaker 2: Who are you? How can you possibly imagine what he
- 4:08Speaker 2: can imagine? How can you possibly think, how he can think?
- 4:11Speaker 2: How can you possibly do what he can do? How
- 4:14Speaker 2: can it be that isn't a single mind living or
- 4:18Speaker 2: a collection of minds that could have thought of Earth?
- 4:22Speaker 2: What in your wildest imagination could have made you think
- 4:25Speaker 2: of Earth? The stars, the heavens, the oceans, the galaxy,
- 4:31Speaker 2: the constellations. What in your mind? What in any man's mind?
- 4:36Speaker 2: We can point at it and analyze it, but we
- 4:38Speaker 2: show couldn't have thought of it. So come on now,
- 4:42Speaker 2: I'm talking about lining yourself up with God's grace, which
- 4:48Speaker 2: he will give to you if you want some of
- 4:50Speaker 2: it now. But now his thing about grace, it can't
- 4:53Speaker 2: be bought. Could if it could be bought, I'm telling
- 4:57Speaker 2: you I would pull all the money out I have
- 5:01Speaker 2: and dump it into grace, because, after discovering what it is,
- 5:06Speaker 2: it's this goodness that God shines on you simply as
- 5:11Speaker 2: a reward of some type for his love for you
- 5:15Speaker 2: and for you attempting for you attempting to do right,
- 5:21Speaker 2: not because you get it right. Because if He judged
- 5:23Speaker 2: us purely on how we are the right and wrong
- 5:26Speaker 2: of it, we would all be doomed, all of us,
- 5:30Speaker 2: every last one of us would be doomed because we
- 5:35Speaker 2: all fall short, we all make mistakes, we all sin,
- 5:39Speaker 2: we all get it wrong from time to time. Nobody's perfect.
- 5:43Speaker 6: Man.
- 5:44Speaker 2: Now I understand what my mother was saying about cleaning
- 5:47Speaker 2: the house. All I want is a little more grace.
- 5:51Speaker 2: All I need is a little more grace when the
- 5:53Speaker 2: last time you ask God for some grace. Now, I'm
- 5:56Speaker 2: not talking to you like I know everything. If you
- 6:00Speaker 2: just benefit from His grace what you already have. But
- 6:03Speaker 2: if you're not aware of it, you don't know what's
- 6:06Speaker 2: going on. Become aware of grace. Get aware of the
- 6:09Speaker 2: fact that God does things for you simply because He
- 6:13Speaker 2: loves you. He does things for you that you don't
- 6:16Speaker 2: even deserve. Somehow, you just wonder how you just got
- 6:18Speaker 2: over when you didn't even do the things to get over.
- 6:24Speaker 2: Sometimes you don't even know how you got that job
- 6:26Speaker 2: you got when you ain't even really do the things
- 6:29Speaker 2: to get your job. How you end up where you
- 6:31Speaker 2: are all the education you thought you went and got,
- 6:34Speaker 2: and hey, how you end up where you are today
- 6:36Speaker 2: in a much better position than your education could have
- 6:39Speaker 2: ever gotten you. That's grace. How I get every place
- 6:44Speaker 2: I am today. I didn't plan this, Man. If I
- 6:47Speaker 2: could have planned my life the way it is, don't
- 6:48Speaker 2: you know how'd have done it when I was living
- 6:50Speaker 2: in that car, if I knew how to do it. No,
- 6:52Speaker 2: I've benefited from his grace. I'm just a beneficiary of
- 6:58Speaker 2: his grace, of his goodness and his mercy. God's goodness
- 7:03Speaker 2: is better than your goodness. God's goodness is better than
- 7:06Speaker 2: your mother's goodness. It's better than your wife's or your
- 7:09Speaker 2: husband or your boo's goodness. God's goodness is different. His
- 7:15Speaker 2: goodness Man covers some stuff you can't even imagine. So
- 7:20Speaker 2: why are you trying to put your life together when
- 7:22Speaker 2: the last time you asked him for just a little
- 7:24Speaker 2: bit of grace? Quhen, have you thought of your life
- 7:29Speaker 2: in terms of the grace that it has already benefited from?
- 7:33Speaker 2: Have you ever done that? Man? Just thought about you?
- 7:37Speaker 2: Know you hear songs like my soul look back and
- 7:39Speaker 2: wonder how I got over? That was grace. That's all
- 7:42Speaker 2: I can call it. Now. Like I say, you can
- 7:43Speaker 2: go with church or somewherever you want to, and ministers
- 7:46Speaker 2: at the window at school to teach this thing way
- 7:49Speaker 2: better than me. I'm just giving you from a layman standpoint. Man,
- 7:52Speaker 2: have you thought about his grace? Would you not bewailled
- 7:56Speaker 2: to be a beneficiary of his grace? Would it not
- 7:59Speaker 2: certain out? Check this out. The better you try to do,
- 8:04Speaker 2: the more grace he'll give to you. Now that grace
- 8:06Speaker 2: can't be bought, like I said, it's free. You can't
- 8:10Speaker 2: purchase grace. But the better you try to become the
- 8:13Speaker 2: more the more grace he gets to put your way.
- 8:17Speaker 2: So man, just try, Why don't you just try to
- 8:20Speaker 2: do better? Look, man, quit talking aout. I'm gonna start
- 8:24Speaker 2: next week. I'm gonna start at the new year, now
- 8:26Speaker 2: you not, Yeah, you do that every year ever at
- 8:29Speaker 2: the new year. I wanna eat better at the new year.
- 8:31Speaker 2: I'm na. I'm gonna go get in here and the
- 8:33Speaker 2: new year. If you're gonna do it, you're gonna do
- 8:35Speaker 2: it now. Man, you're gonna do it. Nothing, stop trying
- 8:39Speaker 2: do something, do it, Stop talking about it, do it now.
- 8:44Speaker 2: The best way to benefit from his grace is starting
- 8:47Speaker 2: action now, n O W Now right now today, what
- 8:53Speaker 2: you're waiting on, all you doing is delaying his opportunity
- 8:57Speaker 2: to bless you. You know, do you know how many
- 9:01Speaker 2: times we do that? We delay his opportunity to bless
- 9:05Speaker 2: us by not starting now. If you gonna get healthy,
- 9:08Speaker 2: why don't you start now? Now you're gonna trip a
- 9:10Speaker 2: little bit because the holiday's coming, But you ain't got
- 9:13Speaker 2: to eat bad all the time. You could start eating
- 9:16Speaker 2: correct today you could. You could, and then guess what
- 9:20Speaker 2: that could be? Some grace on the end of that.
- 9:22Speaker 2: I'm just giving you a little cheap analogy. But do
- 9:25Speaker 2: you feel what I'm saying to you? Start thinking in
- 9:28Speaker 2: terms of grace, what He has done for you and
- 9:31Speaker 2: provided for you that you ain't even see coming. That
- 9:33Speaker 2: you know, you keep calling them blessings, and I got that.
- 9:36Speaker 2: A lot of it OUs all it is. But man,
- 9:38Speaker 2: have you thought about the stuff that didn't happen to
- 9:40Speaker 2: you you can't account for. For me, that's been grace
- 9:45Speaker 2: and I'm beneficiary of it, and that's available to everybody
- 9:49Speaker 2: that won't sung. Next time you're talking to him, just
- 9:52Speaker 2: check in with grace. See what that is. That's that's
- 9:55Speaker 2: better than money.
- 9:57Speaker 5: You're listening.
- 9:59Speaker 9: Morning show, ladies and gentlemen.
- 10:03Speaker 2: Another day, another opportunity to another chance, another blessing, another
- 10:08Speaker 2: moment filled with grace. Man, it's a good thing to
- 10:11Speaker 2: be alive today. I kid you not, Man, this is
- 10:14Speaker 2: alright with me. I like this. I ain't gonna lie
- 10:17Speaker 2: to you living who nice nice even And this is
- 10:23Speaker 2: the part that I've gotten to. Even when it's challenging
- 10:27Speaker 2: to be alive, it's still good to be alive. Even
- 10:32Speaker 2: when I'm faced with opposition, obstacles and hardships. Still good
- 10:36Speaker 2: to be alive. Man, Wow, because I know for show,
- 10:40Speaker 2: I know one hundred percent for show this two show
- 10:44Speaker 2: pass it always will. Man, you just got to ride
- 10:48Speaker 2: with it because he gonna ride with you. Steve Harvey

- 12:26Speaker 2: It is her house. Where else she gone? It's it's
- 12:29Speaker 2: a lot of you people come home every day.
- 12:32Speaker 7: Well, you saying I'm not gonna make it past three
- 12:35Speaker 7: years because I have to change it. What do you
- 12:37Speaker 7: think I need to change?
- 12:38Speaker 2: Moneathan? Number one, your attitude because you think you just
- 12:42Speaker 2: doing everything right and you ain't. Number two, you'd be
- 12:46Speaker 2: accusing people of stuff wrongly?
- 12:50Speaker 4: What?
- 12:51Speaker 2: And then number three, when something happened to you, it
- 12:56Speaker 2: really happens to you.

- 14:57Speaker 2: Past it? The uh? The I where a blanketed blank
- 15:01Speaker 2: wood ministry?
- 15:04Speaker 8: Yeah, I wish a blankety blank wood ministry wants to
- 15:09Speaker 8: be at the next debate if one should happen. They
- 15:13Speaker 8: want to step in and say what Madam VP Kamala
- 15:17Speaker 8: can't say now. They're asking if you, pastor would be
- 15:22Speaker 8: there the lead spokesperson.
- 15:25Speaker 2: Uh uh until the.
- 15:27Speaker 1: Election is over.
- 15:28Speaker 2: That's what they used to be my absolute honor to
- 15:32Speaker 2: be there, my favorite honor of all term four before
- 15:39Speaker 2: before I gave myself to the Lord, that word resonated
- 15:45Speaker 2: with me on a daily basis. I've used it in
- 15:51Speaker 2: terms of endearment. I've used it in terms of warning.
- 15:58Speaker 2: I've used it in terms of describing someone I care
- 16:02Speaker 2: about deeply and others whom I have hated. Come on
- 16:07Speaker 2: here now, it would be my shier joy to be
- 16:12Speaker 2: the head capitol for our wish on whish Yes, yeah,
- 16:24Speaker 2: all right, I don't say blank, yeah, I know IM.
- 16:30Speaker 8: Here's another minstry, the on the fence ministry, the only
- 16:34Speaker 8: bench ministry has a lot going on right now. Uh,
- 16:38Speaker 8: they dealing with this issue. They are on the fish
- 16:41Speaker 8: on the fence. By What the hell was Sha Shade doing?
- 16:45Speaker 3: Now?
- 16:46Speaker 8: Some of them think he was in the weight room
- 16:48Speaker 8: lifted when they heard all them grunts and grounds and stuff.
- 16:51Speaker 8: Come on, think he was in the bathroom and constipated.
- 16:54Speaker 8: They definitely don't think it was a sex situation. They
- 16:58Speaker 8: are on the fence, but they would like to get your.
- 17:01Speaker 2: Take on that path. That's what they asking me, Deacon.
- 17:06Speaker 2: I refrained from that type of levity on this show.
- 17:17Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 17:17Speaker 2: I won't kick a man when he's down. He went down,
- 17:21Speaker 2: sound like he was down. Did you hear him? I
- 17:26Speaker 2: heard the tape. I was a bit milled and confused
- 17:32Speaker 2: about it.
- 17:32Speaker 10: But I.
- 17:34Speaker 2: Did you say, though on the fish ministry or we
- 17:38Speaker 2: need a fish ministry as a junior at the backyard
- 17:42Speaker 2: of his house?
- 17:45Speaker 13: How fast it's the can't be on the fence because
- 17:51Speaker 13: we don't have one go ahead off from sorry, all right,
- 18:01Speaker 13: let me keep moving here. Here we had a situation
- 18:04Speaker 13: Sister Margaret.
- 18:05Speaker 8: Sister Margaret's dog, Rambow has not come out of his
- 18:09Speaker 8: dog house since the debate. And see the asking and
- 18:12Speaker 8: you can come over and talk to the dog because
- 18:14Speaker 8: Rambo think everybody want to eat him and.
- 18:18Speaker 2: He just the dog is just in the nial and
- 18:21Speaker 2: he just going through. He will not come out. You know,
- 18:24Speaker 2: that's just another lie that Trump has spread, that is
- 18:28Speaker 2: casting feal in our nation. Now it then got down
- 18:34Speaker 2: to our dog population. Dogs everywhere is running outside if
- 18:39Speaker 2: they see anything start with the S, they run because
- 18:43Speaker 2: you know, dogs change spell Springfield. Now they just see
- 18:47Speaker 2: an S, they just take off running. Yeah, and that's
- 18:51Speaker 2: all because of Donnie Trump spreading false lives and acquisitions.
- 18:58Speaker 2: Pour Rambow wont home uncles. He's scared that the people
- 19:02Speaker 2: from out of town is gonna eat it. Lord him Mercy,
- 19:08Speaker 2: what kind of president is dish? I don't know why
- 19:12Speaker 2: anybody would vote for this food right here? Good kind
- 19:18Speaker 2: of all?
- 19:19Speaker 1: Lord Lord, all right?
- 19:21Speaker 8: Moving along past the flat butt ministry is asking if
- 19:26Speaker 8: we can get a BBA sponsorship for the from the church.
- 19:31Speaker 8: That's what they want and get more rup in the church.
- 19:35Speaker 8: But that's that's your call, pastor. But that's the flat
- 19:38Speaker 8: button minister, trying to get some money so they can
- 19:41Speaker 8: actually get better and bigger butts.
- 19:44Speaker 2: We're not making no types of donations for no bbhills here.
- 19:50Speaker 2: So many have gone wrong, and what we don't want
- 19:55Speaker 2: is for our sisterhood to put themselves in homes way
- 20:00Speaker 2: just to get a bigger yale Ah, go to the gym. Yeah,
- 20:09Speaker 2: the glop machine squat yea, the dead lifts elugeous. Yeah,
- 20:21Speaker 2: the stamps come on here by, Oh, Lord, her mercy.
- 20:28Speaker 2: Last time I was at the gym, that was a
- 20:30Speaker 2: woman on the staff. Lord, let's just move home, right, hey,
- 20:35Speaker 2: la fitness come on here by.
- 20:46Speaker 5: All right, rever motown take a death jam. That is

- 20:59Speaker 10: after this, you're listening.
- 21:02Speaker 5: Morning show coming up at the top of the hour.
- 21:05Speaker 10: In entertainment news, Donald Trump was shut at it again
- 21:07Speaker 10: yesterday while golfing in Florida and the suspects is in custody.
- 21:12Speaker 10: That happened right after he posted that he hates Taylor
- 21:15Speaker 10: Swift yesterday. And also, yeah, he said, I hate Taylor Swift.
- 21:23Speaker 10: You know Swift because she endorsed Kamala Harris for president. Sure, yeah,
- 21:30Speaker 10: so childish, so childish, he's trying to ruin her yea,
- 21:38Speaker 10: and the oh so fine, fine, fine fine. Jalen Hurts
- 21:42Speaker 10: is engaged to his longtime girlfriend. That's all coming up
- 21:46Speaker 10: to the top of the our.
- 21:49Speaker 2: I get through this story and be quiet, be happy.
- 21:59Speaker 5: For the we are we just anything, We're just kidding.
- 22:05Speaker 5: But now it's time.
- 22:08Speaker 10: To ask the CELO Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey. This
- 22:11Speaker 10: is from Sarah and Arlington. Sarah said, I thought my
- 22:14Speaker 10: husband was taking our dieting seriously, but I found out
- 22:18Speaker 10: that he's been cheating and stopping for a burger or
- 22:21Speaker 10: chicken and soda. I see it on the bank statement,
- 22:23Speaker 10: and he hides his trash. Why would he lie about
- 22:27Speaker 10: dieting if he's not serious?
- 22:28Speaker 8: Why?
- 22:29Speaker 2: Well, I mean, he's trying to support you, but he
- 22:34Speaker 2: ain't gonna make it. Why he hides his receipts and
- 22:43Speaker 2: trash and all this here? Yell, he hunged.
- 22:50Speaker 1: Committed.
- 22:52Speaker 2: He's not committed to this diet. No, this diet ain't
- 22:56Speaker 2: what it is to him. He stopped getting burgers and
- 22:58Speaker 2: chicken sale. And I mean, you ain't got to say
- 23:01Speaker 2: nothing that's gonna show up on the scale and then
- 23:04Speaker 2: the measurements and in the mirror. In the words of
- 23:07Speaker 2: the great eight time Olympian champ, mister Lee Haney, you
- 23:10Speaker 2: cannot out train a bad diet.
- 23:13Speaker 10: Yeah, well should she stop since he stops, should she
- 23:17Speaker 10: start cheating?
- 23:18Speaker 2: No baby gonna get fine.
- 23:20Speaker 1: You just sat out, all right, thank you?
- 23:23Speaker 10: Celo Anthony and Merraville says, I got remarried and my
- 23:26Speaker 10: wife has two children and I have three. She wants
- 23:29Speaker 10: a baby now, even though we agreed that we didn't
- 23:32Speaker 10: want more kids. I'm very careful during sex and this
- 23:35Speaker 10: isn't how I imagined our sex life.
- 23:37Speaker 5: Well I always have to wear protection?
- 23:39Speaker 10: Wow, she changed.
- 23:41Speaker 2: Well, yeah, you don't want no baby, an, I don't
- 23:45Speaker 2: even know what you asked me that before. You sound
- 23:46Speaker 2: old enough. Y'all have enough children between y'all not to
- 23:49Speaker 2: have to ask me that question. Am I always gonna
- 23:52Speaker 2: have to wear protection? Yes, if you don't want to
- 23:55Speaker 2: have a baby. Now, they got some other things that's
- 23:57Speaker 2: out there and now, but you know, if she ain't
- 23:59Speaker 2: taken and it's woman it's her. Hey man, yeah, what thing?
- 24:06Speaker 2: You ain't gonna switch doing nothing? So where we at
- 24:09Speaker 2: get a second?
- 24:11Speaker 4: What what.
- 24:14Speaker 2: Run the risk of something going wrong?
- 24:20Speaker 5: Successful procedures that they've done. Come on, guys, the option
- 24:26Speaker 5: you say doesn't have to be on the woman.
- 24:29Speaker 2: You're right, charl I'm talking to you this morning, car
- 24:32Speaker 2: talking about I wasn't saying it was just I'm saying
- 24:36Speaker 2: it is other options, But I was thinking more like,
- 24:39Speaker 2: you know, for her, you know it didn't require.
- 24:42Speaker 1: Surgery, you know, for her, you were thinking for her,
- 24:46Speaker 1: just for her, all on her.
- 24:49Speaker 2: Well, no, it's it's on him. I don't know what
- 24:55Speaker 2: y'all want me to say.
- 25:01Speaker 5: I think Carla shut the room down.
- 25:04Speaker 7: Yes, the sector quiet.
- 25:11Speaker 2: To say that to me and me a go cut.
- 25:15Speaker 10: Tommy is mad.
- 25:16Speaker 5: He's not even talking right now.
- 25:18Speaker 10: All right, Brielle and Flint, we've moved on. Brielle says,
- 25:22Speaker 10: my best friend had sex with one of our married
- 25:25Speaker 10: male friends. My husband and I found out about it,
- 25:27Speaker 10: and my husband called my friend a whore. His friend
- 25:30Speaker 10: is the one that's married and it takes two to tango,
- 25:33Speaker 10: So why is my best friend being condemned?
- 25:36Speaker 12: Okay, mm hmmm, see you just ain't got no name
- 25:45Speaker 12: for the man.
- 25:46Speaker 2: Don't do you see? That's them double standards. Yeah, you
- 25:51Speaker 2: can't do what I do and still be a lady.
- 25:54Speaker 2: I will always remember my father saying that to my sister.
- 25:58Speaker 2: You can't do what I do, will still be a lady.
- 26:02Speaker 2: Now she getting called all out her name. He just
- 26:04Speaker 2: a dude. Now he's a dog, and he just as
- 26:08Speaker 2: wrong as she is. Yeah, and is and and even
- 26:13Speaker 2: more so because he the one that's married. You the
- 26:15Speaker 2: want said to ours dog, I mean you know, yeah,
- 26:20Speaker 2: I don't know what to tell you. Why are you
- 26:22Speaker 2: trying to defend your friend? But they can't go say nothing?
- 26:26Speaker 1: Don't dog because.
- 26:28Speaker 10: That's her best friend, My best friend, Well, your best friend.
- 26:33Speaker 2: You ain't what happened? Hello, that's not nice. I had
- 26:44Speaker 2: a lot of best friends that was you know one
- 26:50Speaker 2: of them? H Garden too, THEMN there. All my friends
- 26:55Speaker 2: have been won at one point in time, all of them.
- 26:58Speaker 5: I think I'm moving on now.
- 27:01Speaker 9: Last one.
- 27:01Speaker 5: This is from Curtison, Greenville.
- 27:03Speaker 10: Curtis in Greenville, Curtis writes, I'm only thirty nine and
- 27:07Speaker 10: I wear clip on veneers. My top row of teeth
- 27:10Speaker 10: were messed up in an accident and some were knocked out.
- 27:14Speaker 10: It's hard today because I can barely chew my food
- 27:17Speaker 10: some days. Is this something I should tell women about?
- 27:20Speaker 5: Up front?
- 27:23Speaker 2: Some glue?
- 27:27Speaker 5: Well, he doesn't want them on permanently.
- 27:28Speaker 2: I guess, well, when do you want them on? When
- 27:31Speaker 2: do you want one nice round? Matter of fact, nobody
- 27:34Speaker 2: answer that question.
- 27:35Speaker 1: When?
- 27:36Speaker 2: When? What's a good time? Have raggedy amount?
- 27:40Speaker 1: Just tell me?
- 27:43Speaker 2: Why is it taking him so long to get to
- 27:47Speaker 2: this chicken legue? Why is it this thirty.
- 27:49Speaker 13: Minutes he's still chewing on because he.
- 27:52Speaker 2: Got to keep clipping them teeth back.
- 27:54Speaker 10: In cliff On veneers.
- 27:59Speaker 2: Hey man, hey man, you want an apple? Oh? Oh no,
- 28:07Speaker 2: hey man, you want some cars sticks with your wings?
- 28:14Speaker 3: Right?
- 28:14Speaker 2: I just eat chicken breasts anywhere? Eat bright Well, you
- 28:17Speaker 2: you can't bite on just fools. You got the void
- 28:20Speaker 2: that require front teeth. Eating chicken wings is a front
- 28:25Speaker 2: teeth eating item. Ribs is front teeth eating items. M Oranges.
- 28:34Speaker 1: Oranges?
- 28:36Speaker 2: Yeah, if you can get you gotta use your front teeth. Yeah.
- 28:39Speaker 10: So he's said, he's asking should he tell women about
- 28:42Speaker 10: his clip on veneers?
- 28:43Speaker 2: No, dog, why don't you get rid of the damn clipholes?
- 28:45Speaker 2: I don't understand. You're always trying to save money. Man,
- 28:54Speaker 2: go to a tennis man and say, hey, man, look
- 28:56Speaker 2: can you put these in a little more. I've never
- 29:01Speaker 2: heard of clippo. I've never heard it.
- 29:03Speaker 10: Yeah, I've heard.
- 29:06Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, it's oh he came, whil So, he came.
- 29:10Speaker 2: There's a lot of stuff he came to and yeah,
- 29:12Speaker 2: you can.
- 29:14Speaker 5: You can't say it.
- 29:18Speaker 10: All right, thank you, Celo.
- 29:20Speaker 1: Coming up at the.
- 29:20Speaker 10: Top of the hour, we'll have some entertainment news for
- 29:23Speaker 10: you on this rig show right after this you're listening.
- 29:29Speaker 9: Morning show.
- 29:32Speaker 10: The FBI is investigating an assassination attempt on Donald Trump.
- 29:37Speaker 10: This happened yesterday at Trump International Golf Club in West
- 29:40Speaker 10: Palm Beach, Florida. Trump's secret Service alerted local authorities that
- 29:44Speaker 10: there were multiple gunshots fired around one thirty pm at
- 29:47Speaker 10: the golf course, and late Sunday, the Palm Beach County
- 29:50Speaker 10: Sheriff confirmed that Ryan Wesley Routh is now being held
- 29:55Speaker 10: as a suspect in relation to the shooting. Ruth or
- 29:59Speaker 10: Routh was positioned three hundred to five hundred yards away
- 30:03Speaker 10: from Trump on the golf course. Officers found in AK
- 30:07Speaker 10: forty seven AK forty seven a assault rifle. Right there
- 30:13Speaker 10: go pro cameras and backpacks where the suspect was positioned.
- 30:17Speaker 10: According to CNN, this is a second attempt to shoot
- 30:20Speaker 10: Donald Trump. In July, several shots were fired at Trump
- 30:24Speaker 10: during campaign rally in Pennsylvania. One attendee was killed and
- 30:27Speaker 10: two others were wounded. Sadly, and in more political news,
- 30:32Speaker 10: within less than twenty four hours of Taylor Swift endorsing
- 30:35Speaker 10: VP Kamala Harris on our Instagram last Tuesday, more than
- 30:39Speaker 10: four hundred thousand people registered to vote on vote dot gov.
- 30:43Speaker 3: Now.
- 30:43Speaker 10: Swift's post received over eleven million likes, and that sent
- 30:47Speaker 10: Donald Trump into a tailspin. He went into some kind
- 30:51Speaker 10: of frenzy because yesterday, yesterday, on his Truth social platform,
- 30:56Speaker 10: Trump posted, I hate Taylor Swift and all as all caps.
- 31:01Speaker 10: The Harris Waltz campaign responded in a statement, using several
- 31:05Speaker 10: of Taylor Swift's song titles to make her point. The
- 31:08Speaker 10: statement read, We're pretty sure it's safe and sound to
- 31:11Speaker 10: say Donald Trump's week has him down bad. Mister not
- 31:15Speaker 10: at all fine. Has spent this week working through his feelings,
- 31:19Speaker 10: whining about his campaign problems, and spending exactly none of
- 31:23Speaker 10: its time addressing.
- 31:23Speaker 5: The issues facing the American people unquote.
- 31:27Speaker 2: I mean, you're a seven eight year old man, you've
- 31:31Speaker 2: been the former president, you're running for the presidency again,
- 31:35Speaker 2: and you got the time to tweet out I hate
- 31:39Speaker 2: Taylor's will.
- 31:40Speaker 1: Yeah, man, that's so immature.
- 31:44Speaker 2: Yeah, the heil man. But I'm gonna tell you something, man,
- 31:48Speaker 2: Now that right there, you want to see backfire. See
- 31:54Speaker 2: the young lady already registered all these people now that
- 31:58Speaker 2: I hate Taylor's Wait a minute, man, hold up, do
- 32:03Speaker 2: you know do you know what you push people to
- 32:05Speaker 2: when you do that, especially that that sector of young
- 32:09Speaker 2: people Homer haven't traditionally been voting or haven't voted yet.
- 32:13Speaker 2: It is a voting age that ain't the smartest. That
- 32:16Speaker 2: your your narcissistism, if that's the word, is so strong
- 32:22Speaker 2: that you can't even help yourself grandfather, right, yeah.
- 32:30Speaker 8: Big, let him take it to another level, tell us
- 32:32Speaker 8: you hate to be hive to go ahead, go take
- 32:35Speaker 8: it all the way out there.
- 32:37Speaker 2: Don't do that because because let me let me explay
- 32:40Speaker 2: some to you that hive come for you different.
- 32:46Speaker 12: This is this is crazy, an assassination attempt.
- 32:50Speaker 10: Yeah, it's too much, honest, Just please get out and vote,
- 32:57Speaker 10: ladies and gentlemen.
- 32:58Speaker 2: I mean, just please, please, regardless as to what anyone
- 33:03Speaker 2: tells you, we have to vote because it's too many
- 33:08Speaker 2: things that stake care number one, decency is at stake.
- 33:13Speaker 2: Number two, what y'all claim to be so important in
- 33:17Speaker 2: the constitution, Democracy is at stake. This dude done said
- 33:22Speaker 2: he will be a dictator on day one. He said
- 33:25Speaker 2: he not after that, but on day one. What would
- 33:28Speaker 2: make you think that this fool ain't lying again?
- 33:31Speaker 9: Yeah, number.
- 33:34Speaker 2: He don't know what that is. But there's a picture
- 33:36Speaker 2: of him on his jet with the man that created
- 33:40Speaker 2: Project twenty twenty five. Right, he just man. But you
- 33:45Speaker 2: know the sad part about it is these Trumpsters, the
- 33:47Speaker 2: Trump people, they actually think he's for them. They have
- 33:52Speaker 2: no idea, He has no policy for them. What he
- 33:58Speaker 2: has for them is fear. We gotta close that border.
- 34:02Speaker 2: We gotta get our neighborhood safe. We got to stop
- 34:04Speaker 2: all these people from eating need dogs and stuff. Y'all.
- 34:07Speaker 2: We gotta get up out of him, man, Taylor Swift
- 34:09Speaker 2: Neil crazy. We gotta hate her. This is his this
- 34:12Speaker 2: is what he ought. He's offering nothing. You will not
- 34:15Speaker 2: live better because of him. He's not gonna do anything
- 34:18Speaker 2: for infrastructure. He gonna put all them tax codes back
- 34:22Speaker 2: in place. I'm telling y'all, he is not for the
- 34:26Speaker 2: common man. But they are convinced that he is.
- 34:29Speaker 5: Yes, vote for Kamala.
- 34:31Speaker 2: And here's a real problem. They have no problem with
- 34:34Speaker 2: him being that way because that's how they are. If
- 34:37Speaker 2: you're not looking at his convictions, if you're not looking
- 34:40Speaker 2: at his moral issues, the way he treats women, the
- 34:44Speaker 2: way he treats his wife, if you're not looking at that,
- 34:47Speaker 2: if you're not looking at that, it's because you don't care.
- 34:51Speaker 2: I'm sorry. Man. They had this white evangelical And that's
- 34:57Speaker 2: another thing. If you're an evil angelical, why must you
- 35:02Speaker 2: call yourself a white evangelical Because if you're supposed to
- 35:05Speaker 2: be such a Christian and so christ like, what is
- 35:09Speaker 2: this separatism about? See, the evangelicals are always white. The
- 35:14Speaker 2: evangelical started off the heels of slavery because they had
- 35:18Speaker 2: to have a religious group to justify slavery. It started
- 35:21Speaker 2: all back there, man, And now these guys are white
- 35:26Speaker 2: Christian evangelicals. Ain't no black evangelicals. Why is that? We
- 35:30Speaker 2: can't be?
- 35:31Speaker 4: No?
- 35:31Speaker 2: Because evangelical stands for something else. They don't care. Even
- 35:35Speaker 2: the guy that was speaking for them the other day
- 35:38Speaker 2: he said, we know we have some moral concerns about
- 35:41Speaker 2: the candidate, but he will vote for band abortion. Okay,
- 35:46Speaker 2: So you can assault a woman and you can destroy
- 35:50Speaker 2: the constitution, but as long as you say you vote
- 35:52Speaker 2: for this, we're gonna vote for you. Man, miss me.
- 35:57Speaker 10: The unborn children, you're in school, school shootings and all that. Yeah,
- 36:03Speaker 10: all right, thank you guys. Coming up a twenty minutes
- 36:06Speaker 10: after the seventy six Primetime Emmy Awards were last night,
- 36:09Speaker 10: Steve You were nominated. We'll talk about it right after this.
- 36:13Speaker 9: You're listening Harvey Morning Show.
- 36:17Speaker 10: Well, the seventy six Primetime Emmy Awards aired last night
- 36:20Speaker 10: from Los Angeles on NBC. Steve You were nominated this

- 36:28Speaker 10: for Password, Jane Lynch for Weakest Link, Pat Sajack for
- 36:31Speaker 10: Wheel of Fortune, and Ken Jennings for Jeopardy. Pat Sajack
- 36:35Speaker 10: took home to Emmy this year.
- 36:37Speaker 1: But did you all know that back in.
- 36:39Speaker 10: Twenty thirteen, Steve Harvey was the first television host to
- 36:43Speaker 10: receive two Daytime Emmy Award nominations. One for Outstanding Talk
- 36:48Speaker 10: Show Host and for Outstanding Game Show Host.
- 36:52Speaker 5: Steve, you also received your.
- 36:53Speaker 10: Star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame that same year. We
- 36:56Speaker 10: were all there to see you receive that. So the
- 36:58Speaker 10: question is, Steve, did you ever did you ever find
- 37:03Speaker 10: it hard to believe how much you've accomplished?
- 37:05Speaker 5: I mean, you've done so much in.
- 37:07Speaker 2: Your career, you know, I mean you look, honestly speaking,
- 37:11Speaker 2: like when you just said that, I didn't even know that.
- 37:13Speaker 2: Really I had no idea. And God keeps me in
- 37:18Speaker 2: wonderment and amazement. He keeps me feeled with just it's
- 37:25Speaker 2: like overflowing for me at times because no, I mean, who,
- 37:28Speaker 2: I didn't even know that in the same year, two
- 37:32Speaker 2: Emmys and the star who what?
- 37:36Speaker 9: You know?
- 37:36Speaker 2: What I mean, what a blessing because at the end
- 37:40Speaker 2: of the day, you know what, man, I keep saying
- 37:42Speaker 2: all time, I said this one time we were overseas
- 37:46Speaker 2: and we were on a trip and we were eating
- 37:49Speaker 2: lunch on this island. It's an island off Cans And
- 37:54Speaker 2: I walked in and people were clapping when they saw me,
- 37:57Speaker 2: you know, And I sat down at the table and
- 38:00Speaker 2: Elton John was there, and he came over and he
- 38:03Speaker 2: hugged me and we talked and I sat down. Wow,
- 38:07Speaker 2: and they started they started playing the theme song to
- 38:14Speaker 2: Family Feud, and everybody in the restaurant started clapping to
- 38:18Speaker 2: the Family Few theme song. I just put my head
- 38:22Speaker 2: down and started crying because I couldn't believe it. And
- 38:26Speaker 2: my daughter look at me and said, Dad, while you crying,
- 38:29Speaker 2: And I said, I can't tell you the exact quote,
- 38:31Speaker 2: I said, but I just said, I'm just from Cleveland.
- 38:35Speaker 2: You got and she said, and then she said, no, Dad,
- 38:43Speaker 2: you way more than that. But see, she didn't understand
- 38:45Speaker 2: why I was coming from. I was coming from from
- 38:48Speaker 2: a place of I know exactly where I'm from. I
- 38:54Speaker 2: know the whole trip, and technically I know I ain't
- 38:57Speaker 2: supposed to be here, but by the grace of God,
- 38:59Speaker 2: and that moment for me was so profound. And it
- 39:04Speaker 2: happened again this year, just this past year, Oh, when
- 39:08Speaker 2: you were over there and I was with the famous couple,
- 39:11Speaker 2: and it happened again to me, and I put my
- 39:15Speaker 2: hand down and the brother just put his arm around me.
- 39:17Speaker 2: He said, Wow, man, how that make you feel? And
- 39:20Speaker 2: I just I can't get over his blessings. I cannot
- 39:24Speaker 2: get over it. I'm constantly in amazement of it. I'm
- 39:28Speaker 2: glad you don't, and I'm gonna tell somebody that today
- 39:33Speaker 2: twenty thirteen. You know I had You know, I'm finna
- 39:37Speaker 2: flex on somebody. Somebody finish get it today.
- 39:39Speaker 10: You could tell sister Odell because she's coming up right
- 39:42Speaker 10: after this.
- 39:43Speaker 5: You're listening Morning show, all right, ladies and gentlemen, as promised.
- 39:49Speaker 7: She's me.
- 39:52Speaker 1: Loved, surely good to me.
- 39:59Speaker 12: Yes, that's all I'm gonna do, because you know what
- 40:02Speaker 12: I sang my songs. He just cuts into my time,
- 40:05Speaker 12: So I'm just gonna put it. I'm morning every once,
- 40:08Speaker 12: Good morning, sell. This whole show is dedicated to the
- 40:12Speaker 12: truck driver. They said Steve need to quit doing his characters.
- 40:19Speaker 7: He I am again.
- 40:22Speaker 2: Yet for you?
- 40:26Speaker 5: Well, what's going on? I'm glad you came, but I
- 40:32Speaker 5: have some not so I got some sad news for you.
- 40:35Speaker 5: I'll just put it like that.
- 40:36Speaker 10: Well wrong, I'm sure you've heard about this by now,
- 40:40Speaker 10: But the great actor with the awesome voice, mister James
- 40:44Speaker 10: Earl Jones, passed away.
- 40:48Speaker 2: Legend, ma'am, Yeah, almost lost it, hand it together, but
- 40:55Speaker 2: almost lost it.
- 40:56Speaker 1: Yes, ma'am. Yeah, you heard it.
- 40:58Speaker 2: Oh that man ors.
- 41:02Speaker 12: I can't tell you how many times he made me
- 41:04Speaker 12: step out of something. I just say, I'm gonna just
- 41:06Speaker 12: tell you, what do you mean? Well, you know that personal.
- 41:13Speaker 12: But you know, y'all kids and everything usual imagination, that
- 41:17Speaker 12: man was something else, ma'am. I liked him in everything
- 41:22Speaker 12: except that movie with the with the space people in it.
- 41:25Speaker 5: Oh, dark Vader.
- 41:26Speaker 10: You didn't like dogs star Wars.
- 41:29Speaker 2: Like Star Wars when he was a dog dog man,
- 41:32Speaker 2: he was the dog man in the movie.
- 41:36Speaker 12: I didn't care for that because you know, I felt

- 54:37Speaker 10: I looked up to his man, to this man because

- 55:16Speaker 10: times when I've stared at him sleeping and wonder how

- 55:23Speaker 10: been hooking up on the low for eight months and
- 55:25Speaker 10: no one would ever think we were messing around. Last week,
- 55:28Speaker 10: I put in my two weeks notice because I got
- 55:31Speaker 10: a better job since I'm leaving the company. He said
- 55:34Speaker 10: it's time we get serious and date exclusively. He is
- 55:38Speaker 10: forty one and wants to get married and start a family.
- 55:41Speaker 10: I am forty four and I've been married before, so
- 55:45Speaker 10: I don't want to choose another man that's not the
- 55:47Speaker 10: total package. I'm so concerned about how he looks that
- 55:50Speaker 10: I told him our first outing should be with my friends.
- 55:53Speaker 10: We did a group date with three of my girlfriends
- 55:55Speaker 10: and their men. My girls were very judgmental of him.
- 55:59Speaker 10: They said that I would get tired of his nerdy
- 56:01Speaker 10: conversation and it might be too hard to change him.
- 56:04Speaker 10: I was thinking new clothes and a haircut would do it,
- 56:07Speaker 10: But they're skeptical. Skeptical. Can I gradually change a man
- 56:12Speaker 10: that's stuck in a time warp? Would I be a
- 56:14Speaker 10: fool to let him go?
- 56:16Speaker 2: Uh?
- 56:16Speaker 10: Yes you would, Yes, you would if he's a good
- 56:19Speaker 10: man and he treats you well and he wants to
- 56:21Speaker 10: get married and start a family. Yeah, and from what
- 56:24Speaker 10: you say in this letter, he's a good guy. And
- 56:27Speaker 10: having said that, I think one of the easiest ways.
- 56:30Speaker 5: And I don't believe.
- 56:31Speaker 10: And you got to change a man and all that,
- 56:33Speaker 10: but it's wardrobe because that's on the outside and not
- 56:36Speaker 10: on the inside. You're not trying to change his character
- 56:39Speaker 10: or anything. You're just trying to update his style.
- 56:41Speaker 5: That's okay.
- 56:43Speaker 10: But I don't want you to mess this up either.
- 56:45Speaker 10: I mean, because it's not what you do, it's how
- 56:47Speaker 10: you do it. I think you should talk to him
- 56:49Speaker 10: about it, sit him down and tell him, you know,
- 56:52Speaker 10: don't crush his ego, and from what you said, he
- 56:55Speaker 10: seems like a reasonable guy, so hopefully he'll be receptive
- 56:59Speaker 10: of what you.
- 56:59Speaker 5: Have to say to him.
- 57:01Speaker 10: A lot of women change things about their men outwardly,
- 57:04Speaker 10: the way they wear their hair and the clothes that
- 57:06Speaker 10: they wear.
- 57:07Speaker 5: You won't be the first one to do that.
- 57:10Speaker 10: I just think you know, don't listen to your girlfriends
- 57:13Speaker 10: and other people haters about your relationship because they don't know.
- 57:17Speaker 10: This has to be solely your decision, not what they
- 57:20Speaker 10: think with their judgmental attitudes.
- 57:22Speaker 5: And don't let your friends talk you out of a
- 57:24Speaker 5: good man.
- 57:25Speaker 10: You like this man, so please don't dump him for
- 57:28Speaker 10: some stupid reason and then see him out with some
- 57:32Speaker 10: other women and they're doing all good and flourishing and.
- 57:34Speaker 5: Everything, and then you have regrets.
- 57:36Speaker 2: Don't do that, Okay, Steve, I don't see nothing wrong
- 57:42Speaker 2: in this letter. You know you've been messing around with
- 57:44Speaker 2: a guy to worked with. He said he's how something
- 57:47Speaker 2: specially in you, so he had you moved over to
- 57:49Speaker 2: his team. You looked up to him because of his
- 57:52Speaker 2: work ethic and how he commands the rooms at the meetings.
- 57:57Speaker 2: He is a straight nerd. But you say there's something
- 58:00Speaker 2: about him. But he's stuck in the late nineties with
- 58:03Speaker 2: his hair, his suits and even the way he talks.
- 58:07Speaker 2: And then you say, but thank goodness, he ain't that way.
- 58:09Speaker 2: In the bedroom. He's large and in charge there. Okay,
- 58:15Speaker 2: he's exactly what you take to get your job done.
- 58:17Speaker 2: He plays love songs and light candles before we intimate
- 58:20Speaker 2: because he owes school, you know, lighting candles, playing music
- 58:24Speaker 2: at that that you know that used to happen a lot,
- 58:28Speaker 2: you know, wasn't nothing else. Couldn't put on TikTok you know.
- 58:33Speaker 2: So with what you're gonna do Netflix, wasn't out, couldn't
- 58:38Speaker 2: do that. So yeah, back back down to these candles
- 58:43Speaker 2: in this music. Sorry, but that's what you like. Then
- 58:47Speaker 2: he sets the mood for it, takes off his silky boxes. Okay,
- 58:52Speaker 2: that's cool. That's old two, all right. Sometimes when he's sleeping,
- 58:56Speaker 2: you look at him. You wonder how he can be
- 58:58Speaker 2: a nerd and a superhero. Now have you ever thought
- 59:02Speaker 2: that he has to be these two different peoples so
- 59:05Speaker 2: he can survive in this world? Do you think that
- 59:09Speaker 2: he's running the boardroom because he's a nerd? Of course,
- 59:15Speaker 2: he has found a way to be successful in the
- 59:18Speaker 2: corporate world, and the corporate world likes him because they
- 59:21Speaker 2: don't put him in charge there too. Now y'all been
- 59:24Speaker 2: hooking up on the load for about eight months. Nobody
- 59:28Speaker 2: thinks y'all mess around. So you put in your two
- 59:31Speaker 2: week notice because you got a better job. Since I'm
- 59:34Speaker 2: leaving the company, he said, it's time for us to
- 59:36Speaker 2: get serious and date exclusively. He's forty one, wants to
- 59:41Speaker 2: get married and start a family. I'm forty four. I've
- 59:44Speaker 2: been married before, so I don't want to choose another
- 59:47Speaker 2: man that's not the total package. Well, now let's stop
- 59:51Speaker 2: right here, seeing as how you divorce. Don't look like
- 59:55Speaker 2: you know how to pick all that good. No way
- 59:57Speaker 2: that's coming from somebody and had a couple of them.
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: So now I know when you in the bad picking business.
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: So now you in the bad picking business. But now
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: you say you don't want another man that ain't the
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: total package? Do you think you're the total package?
- 1:00:15Speaker 4: You know?
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: You know what I've never heard I'm gonna say this,
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: this is gonna be shocking, and we're gonna go to break.
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: I've never heard a woman say. I've heard women say
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: he ain't nothing. All my exes was dogs. And when
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: I've never heard a woman say, you know what, I
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: ain't about nothing? A woman say you know what is me?
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: I ain't about nothing?
- 1:00:39Speaker 10: Part too of Steve's response coming up at twenty three
- 1:00:43Speaker 10: minutes after the our Today's Strawberry Letter subject nerd in
- 1:00:46Speaker 10: the boardroom, boss.
- 1:00:47Speaker 5: In the bedroom. We'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:00:50Speaker 9: You're listening hard morning show.
- 1:00:53Speaker 10: All right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:00:56Speaker 10: Nerd in the boardroom, boss in the bedroom.
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: Yeah, here's this woman who's messing around with this guy
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: on the job that's a nerd. He's in the supervisory capacity.
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: He said he saw some men, so he had him
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: transfer to their team. Now they've been seeing each other
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: on the low Loaf for about eight months. She likes
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: everything about him, how he commands the boardroom. Think it's
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: because of the big words he uses and all that.
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: But they've been in the bedroom. He everything. He a superhero.
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: He's in charge in there too. But now and everything
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: is going right. You know, he's a straight nerd. But
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: it's something about him. But she don't like the fact
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: that he's stuck in the late nineties with his hand
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: his suits. Thank goodness. He ain't that way in the bedroom.
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: So now he played love songs and light candles cause
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: that's what people used to do, you know, cause we
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: didn't have a lot of other stuff, so you know,
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: it was all like that. He sets the mood before
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: he take off his silks. He's silky boxes. There's been
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: times when I've stared at him sleeping how he can
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: be a nerd and a superhero, And I said, because
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: he has to be that to have the job he got.
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: He's figured out the way to become successful in corporate
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: American and that's what he's doing all right now, y'all
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: been hooking up for about eight weeks. Last week you
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: put in your notice because you found a better job
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: since you leaving the company. He said, this time we
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: get serious and started dating. He forty one, I'm forty four.
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: He want to get married and started family. I've been married,
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: so I don't want to choose another man that's not
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: the total package. And like I said before I left,
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: which is what we do. You know what I've noticed
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: that I have never heard in my life. I've heard
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: women who have exes who talk about what was wrong
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: with the men and they wasn't ready, they wasn't mature.
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: Ain't no good man. I can't find a good man.
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: There's a lot of good men out there. I've never
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: heard a woman say, you know what, I ain't about.
- 1:02:45Speaker 10: Nothing, and you never will.
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: You know what? It's me reason I can't keep a man.
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: You know now there are women who can keep a man,
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: but women out here who just blame men for all
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: they woes. And it could be you. Ain't no good
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: man out here. A lot of good men out here, anyway,
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: here's her problem. So I don't want to choose another
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: man that's not total package. I'm so concerned about how
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: he looks. I told him my first outing should be
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: with my friends. We did a group date and three
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: of my girlfriends and they men. My girls are very
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: judgmental of him. They said that I get tired of
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: this nerdy conversation and it might be too hard to
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: change him. Your girlfriend and they men, any of them married?
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: You married.
- 1:03:41Speaker 2: Any of them? Me and Ashy your girlfriends to marry him.
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: Oh so you just had three girlfriends and they men.
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: But the girls got a problem with them, the dudes didn't,
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: and it might be too hard to change him. I
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: was thinking new clothes and a haircut would do it.
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: Clothing a haircut could help, but he would need a
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: good woman to do that. But you're so worried about
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: what your friends think that you're finna let the superhero
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: and the nerd go. But they're skeptical. They're skeptical. Can
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: I gradually change a man that's stuck in the time warp?
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: I've seen it happened to me.
- 1:04:27Speaker 5: Yeh mean, Steve, what are you saying?
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: I've seen it change my haircut and my suits.
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: I saw it.
- 1:04:38Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't even know what you're tripping for. Oh
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: she was smart, though. She waited till she got in
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: and said, hey, you need to take them big suits
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: off now trying to change? Ah faught okay, and farther
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: and now here I am today. Would I be a
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: fool to let him go? You be a damn fool
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: to let him go? You would be beyond I'm ignorant
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: to let him go, and he won'ts you. On top
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: of all this, all he ain't a is a suit
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: and a haircut. That's all he ain't. You're gonna get
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: tired of that nerdy conversation. Oh well, I know a
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: lot of women is tired of these hip conversations.
- 1:05:23Speaker 10: Huh.
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: You know you can have a man say all the
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: right things that don't mean none of them. So, lady,
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: I don't know what you're gonna do, But if you
- 1:05:34Speaker 2: let this man go, you a stone cold fool. But
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: then again, maybe is you.
- 1:05:43Speaker 5: She'll never say it?
- 1:05:44Speaker 2: Maybe is you she'll he ever thought of why you
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: can't keep a man? Maybe it's you. I know y'all
- 1:05:55Speaker 2: always want to put it on the man, but I
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: wish y'all would sometimes, Jess, is there anything that you
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: could be doing wrong? Is there anything about you you
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: could change?
- 1:06:09Speaker 9: Think about that?
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: Could you be too picky? Because if you don't let
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: a man go because he talk like a nerd and
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: he got an old style haircut in a suit that
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: you don't like, you're gonna let him go for that?
- 1:06:28Speaker 10: I was gonna ask you one thing, What is he
- 1:06:31Speaker 10: saying that turns her on so much?
- 1:06:33Speaker 5: In the in the boardroom, those big words?
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: Hey, what do you guys want to do for lunch?
- 1:06:38Speaker 2: Are you kidding me? Applebee's not interested?
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: How about it?
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: How about him?
- 1:06:48Speaker 6: Anore?
- 1:06:49Speaker 4: You know?
- 1:06:49Speaker 2: Look? Hey, how about a more for a new dining experience.

- 1:10:29Speaker 10: Haley and Clarksville. Hailey says, I'm twenty four and I
- 1:10:32Speaker 10: have a crush on one of my grandmother's friends. I've
- 1:10:36Speaker 10: been asking my grandmother little things about him, and she
- 1:10:38Speaker 10: said that she never slept with him, but she heard he.
- 1:10:41Speaker 5: Was very good in bed.
- 1:10:43Speaker 10: Before you say he's too old for me, my grandmother
- 1:10:46Speaker 10: is only sixty, so he's got to be around her age.
- 1:10:49Speaker 10: He's been flirting with me, and I told him I
- 1:10:52Speaker 10: need to tell my grandmother before I date him. Should
- 1:10:55Speaker 10: I tell my grandmother first? Or grout with him once
- 1:10:57Speaker 10: before I tell her?
- 1:10:59Speaker 2: Well, I mean, I don't know what telling your grandmama
- 1:11:01Speaker 2: gonna do you're gonna do? And then I already told
- 1:11:04Speaker 2: you what she thinks. I don't. I don't know what
- 1:11:08Speaker 2: telling your grandmother's gonna do. I just don't. That don't
- 1:11:15Speaker 2: seem like that's grandmama.
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: News, grandmama news.
- 1:11:19Speaker 10: Grandmother is different though, because she told her granddaughter that
- 1:11:21Speaker 10: she never slept with the man, but she heard he's
- 1:11:24Speaker 10: very good in bedding, so they got that got of relationship.
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: Granddaughter.
- 1:11:29Speaker 2: Yeah, I've never heard my grandmama used the word sleep
- 1:11:32Speaker 2: in a sentence, unless she was telling me to go.

- 1:20:24Speaker 5: You're listening.
- 1:20:26Speaker 9: Morning show.
- 1:20:27Speaker 8: Wow.
- 1:20:28Speaker 10: Tito Jackson of the legendary Jackson family has passed. He
- 1:20:33Speaker 10: passed away last night. Sadly, Tito was the third child
- 1:20:38Speaker 10: of the ten Jackson children, and he was a singer
- 1:20:41Speaker 10: and a guitarist that helped to shape the Jackson sound.
- 1:20:44Speaker 10: Tito was seventy years old, and our condolence is going
- 1:20:49Speaker 10: out to the Jackson family for sure.
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: Damn yeah.
- 1:20:53Speaker 10: A musician boy, Yeah, yes, yep.
- 1:20:57Speaker 2: I can't believe this.
- 1:20:58Speaker 5: Wow, legendary man, that's so sad man.
- 1:21:00Speaker 2: I've been doing these cats for so long, man like life.
- 1:21:07Speaker 2: That was the first forty five I ever bought in
- 1:21:11Speaker 2: my life was Mama's Pearl, Yeah, pearl, Mama's Pearl by
- 1:21:18Speaker 2: the Jackson five. That was the first forty five ever bought.
- 1:21:21Speaker 2: I used to walk up miss teasing buy forty five
- 1:21:24Speaker 2: Tito in my being in my music blog for a
- 1:21:27Speaker 2: long time. The whole family, man, I just whole family.
- 1:21:31Speaker 2: That's sad man. I didn't I didn't really spend a
- 1:21:33Speaker 2: lot of time with him at all at all, So
- 1:21:36Speaker 2: I don't have any you know, close stories or anything.
- 1:21:39Speaker 2: He's just a good brother man, one of my favorite family.
- 1:21:42Speaker 5: Yeah family.
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: Man. Well, our deepest condolences and prayers going out.
- 1:21:49Speaker 9: Yep, yep, yep.
- 1:21:51Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:21:51Speaker 4: You know.
- 1:21:52Speaker 2: With that said, these are my clothes remarks today, you know. Yeah,
- 1:22:00Speaker 2: James L. Jones, Tito Jackson, Frankie Beverley. I mean, man, wow,
- 1:22:07Speaker 2: that's tough. But it's a message to us all. It's
- 1:22:14Speaker 2: a couple of things. Number One, you got to live
- 1:22:18Speaker 2: your life. You got to live it, you got to
- 1:22:21Speaker 2: take care of it. You got to tend to it,
- 1:22:24Speaker 2: because you only get one go round, so live it.
- 1:22:28Speaker 2: But and also in living it, you got to tend
- 1:22:31Speaker 2: to it. Now, I'm not saying this because I'm saying
- 1:22:35Speaker 2: these people could have took better care of themselves. That's
- 1:22:38Speaker 2: not what I'm saying at all. That's not what I'm saying.
- 1:22:43Speaker 2: But for me and those of us that are still
- 1:22:46Speaker 2: here living, if whatever time you have left on this earth,
- 1:22:50Speaker 2: you should make the best of it. And the two
- 1:22:53Speaker 2: most important things that you have in life is your
- 1:22:56Speaker 2: health and your time, because if you out of either
- 1:22:59Speaker 2: one of them, you're in a world of trouble. If
- 1:23:03Speaker 2: you're out of health or you're out of time, you
- 1:23:07Speaker 2: gonna make the news. So take care of yourself. Do
- 1:23:12Speaker 2: the little things. Pay attention to how much water you drinking,
- 1:23:16Speaker 2: pay attention to what you put in your mouth. Man,
- 1:23:20Speaker 2: slow downs, you really need to stop. But these processed
- 1:23:24Speaker 2: foods man, are not helping us as a people, especially
- 1:23:29Speaker 2: in America.
- 1:23:30Speaker 10: Man.
- 1:23:30Speaker 2: I was just I was reading this thing. French fries
- 1:23:34Speaker 2: in Africa has three ingredients, potatoes, oil, and salt. French
- 1:23:41Speaker 2: fries in the United States has nineteen ingredients. If you
- 1:23:46Speaker 2: drop a French fry in the crack of your seat
- 1:23:49Speaker 2: on the car, two weeks later, if you find that
- 1:23:52Speaker 2: French fry, it'll look just like a French fry. It'll
- 1:23:55Speaker 2: look exactly like a French fry. You could leave it
- 1:23:58Speaker 2: on the desk, It'll look exactly like French fried.
- 1:24:00Speaker 4: Y'all.
- 1:24:01Speaker 2: Y'all got to pay attention to these processed foods you're
- 1:24:03Speaker 2: put in in your body because it is taking us out.
- 1:24:07Speaker 2: Because America has found a way to make money off
- 1:24:11Speaker 2: of treatment and not cure. So everything they do, everything
- 1:24:17Speaker 2: they produce, is just designed to make you like it,
- 1:24:21Speaker 2: and everything you like, they have a medication for it.
- 1:24:25Speaker 2: That's amazing. Man. If you love sugar, which is such
- 1:24:31Speaker 2: a cancerous item, we have a medicine for you. If
- 1:24:35Speaker 2: you like clogging your audis and creating hot blood pressure,
- 1:24:39Speaker 2: we have a medication for it. If your joints are
- 1:24:42Speaker 2: stiffed from lack of movement and inflammation. We have a
- 1:24:46Speaker 2: medication for it. But do you know man, that you
- 1:24:49Speaker 2: can you can limit some of that by what you
- 1:24:52Speaker 2: put in your mouth. There are anti inflormflammatory foods you
- 1:24:56Speaker 2: can eat. There there are, But there are foods you
- 1:25:01Speaker 2: can put in your mouth with antioxidants in it. You
- 1:25:04Speaker 2: can help yourself with what you put in your mouth.
- 1:25:07Speaker 2: The one thing that a god taught me that really
- 1:25:09Speaker 2: really helped me trim down and really feel better was
- 1:25:13Speaker 2: he says, Steve just starts eating single ingredient food. And
- 1:25:16Speaker 2: I said, what do you mean by that? He say,
- 1:25:18Speaker 2: eat anything that has one ingredient in it. And I
- 1:25:21Speaker 2: was kind of puzzled because there he said, No, listen
- 1:25:23Speaker 2: to me, beef. It's only one ingredient in beef is beef.
- 1:25:28Speaker 2: If you get grass fed organic, not that stuff that's
- 1:25:31Speaker 2: been processed with growth hormones and stuff they make beef.
- 1:25:37Speaker 2: Where are you're not allowed to do that? Beef, fish, chicken, broccoli, cabbage, radishes, cucumbers, celery, letters, squash.
- 1:25:50Speaker 2: The list of foods is tremendous. Pineapple, oranges, apples, nuts, seeds.
- 1:25:55Speaker 2: The list of things that you can eat is in
- 1:26:00Speaker 2: intensely long, but you gotta pay attention to it. Y'all.
- 1:26:05Speaker 2: You cannot let your taste buds control your life, because
- 1:26:09Speaker 2: your taste buds can also end your life. This is
- 1:26:12Speaker 2: a fact, and I'm just encouraging those of us that's
- 1:26:15Speaker 2: still here. Just take better care of yourself. If whatever time,
- 1:26:19Speaker 2: and we don't know when we're gonna leave as well,
- 1:26:21Speaker 2: whatever time you have left, let it be quality time.
- 1:26:26Speaker 2: Try to put stuff in your body that helps you
- 1:26:28Speaker 2: get out and start moving. Get a workout program going.
- 1:26:32Speaker 2: You don't need a gym membership to get in shape.
- 1:26:34Speaker 2: Start walking, go online, use some full body of exercises
- 1:26:39Speaker 2: where you just use the weight of your body to
- 1:26:41Speaker 2: get in shape. You do not need a gym membership.
- 1:26:43Speaker 2: Stop making excuses. Give yourself a reason to live a
- 1:26:47Speaker 2: quality life. Okay, that's all I'm saying, and I'm talking
- 1:26:50Speaker 2: to myself too. Take care of yourself, Steve, do better
- 1:26:54Speaker 2: with what you eat. Get consistent and disciplined. Get some
- 1:26:58Speaker 2: movement going. Don't walk like old person. Straightened up. It's
