- 0:01Speaker 1: There is a really sad reality in this country right now,
- 0:05Speaker 1: and that is if you are a hard working American
- 0:08Speaker 1: man and you say something online that's supposed to be funny,
- 0:12Speaker 1: it can cost you your job if people find it
- 0:14Speaker 1: politically incorrect.
- 0:16Speaker 2: Right.
- 0:16Speaker 1: There's instant accountability for anything that isn't perfect in the
- 0:20Speaker 1: private sector in this country, especially if you are a conservative.
- 0:25Speaker 1: But what is the accountability like if you're a government employee,
- 0:30Speaker 1: for example, maybe you're in charge of the secret Service
- 0:34Speaker 1: detail that's screwed up to the point where you have
- 0:36Speaker 1: a president of the United States of America or the
- 0:39Speaker 1: former president Donald Trump and the leader to become the
- 0:41Speaker 1: president of United States of America, you know, get shot.
- 0:45Speaker 1: How many people lose their jobs when there's a building
- 0:49Speaker 1: that is in plain sight from where the president a
- 0:52Speaker 1: perfect shot for where the president's standing on a stage,
- 0:54Speaker 1: for example, and no one's on that rooftop. What happens then?
- 1:00Speaker 1: Is there any accountability? The answer is very clearly no.
- 1:04Speaker 1: How do we know this because the acting director testified
- 1:07Speaker 1: before Congress and was asked like, who's been fired?
- 1:12Speaker 2: How many people have been fired? Has anyone been fired? Right?
- 1:16Speaker 1: Well, we don't have anyone that's been fired. And you
- 1:18Speaker 1: may say, well, hold on, I'm going to fact check you, Ben,
- 1:20Speaker 1: that's not true. The FBI director is gone.
- 1:23Speaker 2: That's true.
- 1:24Speaker 1: She resigned. She was not fired by the President of
- 1:27Speaker 1: the United States of America. Remember Joe Biden fires no one.
- 1:30Speaker 1: In fact, I'm not sure there's anything you can do
- 1:32Speaker 1: in this administration to get you fired. But what was
- 1:35Speaker 1: even more shocking when the new acting director went before
- 1:41Speaker 1: the Senate. I want you to hear what he said
- 1:44Speaker 1: on one basic issue, which is the most mind blowing
- 1:47Speaker 1: twenty nine seconds of this entire hearing.
- 1:51Speaker 3: No information regarding a weapon on the roof was ever
- 1:54Speaker 3: passed to our personnel.
- 1:57Speaker 4: How is that even possible?
- 1:59Speaker 3: Do you want to come to that Senator again? I
- 2:02Speaker 3: believe that information and this is probably something my colleague
- 2:06Speaker 3: can can expound on information that was in law enforcement
- 2:11Speaker 3: local law enforcement channels but did not cross over and
- 2:14Speaker 3: make it to Secret Service awareness.
- 2:17Speaker 1: Mike Lee sener. Mike Lee, you hear they're asking that
- 2:20Speaker 1: simple question. How is that even possible? Because the acting
- 2:24Speaker 1: Secret Service Director, Ronald Road Junior his quote again, no
- 2:29Speaker 1: information regarding a weapon on the roof was ever Okay,
- 2:33Speaker 1: I'm want to make sure you understand that word he
- 2:35Speaker 1: says was ever passed to our personnel. The personnel is
- 2:40Speaker 1: he's saying our personnel the secret Service, sener Mike Lee,
- 2:44Speaker 1: How is that even possible? Not only that, but the
- 2:49Speaker 1: FBI deputy director, and this was also someone at the hearing,
- 2:53Speaker 1: was asked another question, and I want you to hear
- 2:56Speaker 1: what the FBI director had to say.
- 2:59Speaker 2: That director had to say. Listen to this.
- 3:02Speaker 5: We don't have definitive evidence yet as to how he
- 3:04Speaker 5: got the rifle up there. Based on everything that's been
- 3:08Speaker 5: collected thus far, photos, video, eyewitness accounts, we do believe
- 3:13Speaker 5: he likely had.
- 3:14Speaker 3: It in the backpack, broken down in the backpack.
- 3:18Speaker 5: We're still assessing that. Our laboratory has taken it, looked
- 3:22Speaker 5: at the rifle itself and measured that against the backpack itself,
- 3:26Speaker 5: and if placed in this backpack, it would extend outside.
- 3:29Speaker 5: It would have been visible. We don't have anyone who
- 3:32Speaker 5: has observed him, who observed him with the backpack with
- 3:35Speaker 5: a rifle, barrel or other part of it sticking out
- 3:39Speaker 5: of the backpack, but the rifle would not have fit
- 3:42Speaker 5: fully into this backpack to be concealed in whole. We
- 3:47Speaker 5: have video that was recently found of the shooter walking
- 3:52Speaker 5: in a distance from his car just before six pm,
- 3:56Speaker 5: about five point fifty six. I believe in and based
- 4:00Speaker 5: on everything we have, we assess that he returned to
- 4:03Speaker 5: his vehicle at that time, got the backpack, and then
- 4:06Speaker 5: proceeded back to the area and to the AGR building,
- 4:11Speaker 5: and then he's observed, of course on the roof just
- 4:14Speaker 5: you know, minutes later, holding the backpack in front of him.
- 4:18Speaker 5: In fact, there's dash cam footage from a police vehicle
- 4:22Speaker 5: that shows him briefly traversing the roof with the backpack
- 4:26Speaker 5: in front of him, and then it's just minutes after
- 4:29Speaker 5: that that he's actually seen by the officer who I
- 4:31Speaker 5: described with the rifle on the roof. It's possible that
- 4:36Speaker 5: he broke the rifle down that we don't have conclusive
- 4:39Speaker 5: evidence of that, and took it out of the bag
- 4:42Speaker 5: on the roof in those moments before and reassembled there.
- 4:45Speaker 5: That's one of the theories we're looking at and working
- 4:47Speaker 5: on right now.
- 4:48Speaker 1: We have a answer here. The FBI deputy director admits
- 4:54Speaker 1: that while the FBI quote has no definitive evidence of
- 4:58Speaker 1: how exactly the Trump shooter managed to get an AR
- 5:00Speaker 1: fifteen on the roof. He admits this shooter most likely
- 5:03Speaker 1: had in his backpack, so we can't even figure that
- 5:06Speaker 1: out right now. Now, I'm not blaming the FBI deputy
- 5:09Speaker 1: director for that answer. What I am saying is this
- 5:12Speaker 1: was such a colossal, just you know what up that
- 5:18Speaker 1: the question goes back to what I said at the
- 5:21Speaker 1: very beginning. How is it possible that a hard working
- 5:24Speaker 1: American man in this country can put an off color
- 5:27Speaker 1: joke out on the Internet that somebody's offended by. We
- 5:30Speaker 1: can find that person and make sure they get fired
- 5:32Speaker 1: from their job for that.
- 5:35Speaker 2: But you have this big of a.
- 5:36Speaker 1: Screw up, and you have an acting Secret Service director
- 5:42Speaker 1: who says, yeah, we had no information regarding a weapon
- 5:44Speaker 1: on the roof that was ever passed to the Secret Service.
- 5:47Speaker 1: They weren't talking to local law enforcement. Yeah, we didn't
- 5:50Speaker 1: have any buy in the roof there Yet are bad? Hey,
- 5:52Speaker 1: we lost this guy out there that we didn't even
- 5:54Speaker 1: know existed because no one told us about it, because
- 5:56Speaker 1: we weren't contacting or in contact with the people on
- 5:59Speaker 1: the ground that we're seeing this guy.
- 6:01Speaker 2: And we don't even know how we got a gun
- 6:02Speaker 2: on a roof.
- 6:03Speaker 1: How is it that with this many questions, basic questions
- 6:07Speaker 1: they can't answer. Has no one been fired? No one
- 6:12Speaker 1: has been fired for any of this. There is a
- 6:16Speaker 1: double standard. Do you understand just how big the double
- 6:19Speaker 1: standard is?
- 6:20Speaker 2: Now?
- 6:21Speaker 1: Senator Cruz and I set down to do our podcast,
- 6:24Speaker 1: and I want you to hear what he had to
- 6:26Speaker 1: say about the Secret Services, just horrific leadership and lack
- 6:33Speaker 1: of answers that they are giving about the assassination attempt
- 6:36Speaker 1: on Donald Trump. Senator, so set the stage for us
- 6:40Speaker 1: real quick. I want to play. Obviously you're back and
- 6:43Speaker 1: forth with the acting director as you got to ask
- 6:46Speaker 1: a lot of questions, and it didn't go well for him.
- 6:48Speaker 1: It's made a lot of headlines, but set the stage
- 6:51Speaker 1: of how important this hearing was and why it was
- 6:54Speaker 1: taking place.
- 6:56Speaker 6: So this was yesterday morning. It was a joint hearing
- 6:59Speaker 6: of the Senate Judiciary Committee and the Senate Committee on
- 7:02Speaker 6: Homeland Security, and we had the acting director of the
- 7:06Speaker 6: Secret Service, the former director has finally resigned given the
- 7:10Speaker 6: catastrophic failures we saw, and the deputy director of the FBI.
- 7:15Speaker 6: And so it was hearing that went all morning and
- 7:17Speaker 6: I got to say, there was enormous concerned enormous skepticism.
- 7:22Speaker 6: We saw it from both Republicans and Democrats who were
- 7:25Speaker 6: asking about the disastrous failures of the Secret Service. And listen,
- 7:30Speaker 6: the acting director, he is somewhat better than.
- 7:35Speaker 4: The old director.
- 7:36Speaker 6: The old director was brazen, she was defiant. Her view
- 7:40Speaker 6: was we owe nothing, we owe no accountability, We will
- 7:43Speaker 6: not answer any question. We did everything right. To his credit,
- 7:48Speaker 6: the acting director began his testimony by saying, we screwed up.
- 7:52Speaker 6: We screwed up really badly. And the fact that there
- 7:55Speaker 6: was not an agent on the roof where the shooter
- 7:58Speaker 6: was was utterly indefensible. That's a step in the right direction.
- 8:02Speaker 6: That being said, he's stonewaald and he's stonewalled in a
- 8:06Speaker 6: way that was infuriating. And look, rather than meet describe
- 8:09Speaker 6: it to you, just give a listen. Here's my questioning
- 8:12Speaker 6: of the acting director of the Secret Service yesterday morning.
- 8:17Speaker 6: Thank you, miss chairman, mister Row, thank you for being here.
- 8:21Speaker 6: I agree with what you said at the outset that
- 8:23Speaker 6: the individual Secret Service agents demonstrated remarkable personal courage putting
- 8:27Speaker 6: their bodies in between the line of sight of the
- 8:30Speaker 6: shooter and the president. That being said, the bravery of
- 8:34Speaker 6: the line agents is quite different from the decisions of
- 8:36Speaker 6: Secret Service leadership. Secret Service leadership committed catastrophic security failures, indeed,
- 8:44Speaker 6: the worst security failures for the Secret Service since nineteen
- 8:48Speaker 6: eighty one, since the attempted assassination of President Ronald Reagan.
- 8:53Speaker 6: It is incumbent upon this committee to determine why those
- 8:58Speaker 6: security failures happened. Just after the shooting, Secret Service put
- 9:05Speaker 6: out an official statement from your spokesperson that says, there's
- 9:08Speaker 6: an untrue assertion that a member of the former president's
- 9:11Speaker 6: team requested additional security resources that those were rebuffed.
- 9:14Speaker 4: This is absolutely false. In fact, we.
- 9:17Speaker 6: Added protective resources and technology and capabilities as part of
- 9:20Speaker 6: the increased campaign travel tempo.
- 9:23Speaker 3: Was this tweet accurate with respect to Butler, Pennsylvania. It
- 9:27Speaker 3: is accurate, sir.
- 9:30Speaker 6: It is accurate that the Trump team had not asked
- 9:35Speaker 6: for additional security and had not been rebuffed.
- 9:38Speaker 3: If you're talking about Butler, Pennsylvania, all assets requested were approved.
- 9:42Speaker 3: If you're talking about the media reporting of assets requested,
- 9:48Speaker 3: there were times when assets were unavailable and not able
- 9:53Speaker 3: to be filled, and those gaps were staffed with state
- 9:57Speaker 3: and local law enforcement tactical assets.
- 10:00Speaker 6: I'm reading from the Washington Post July twentieth, twenty twenty
- 10:03Speaker 6: four secret Services denied requests for more security at Trump events.
- 10:06Speaker 4: The opening paragraph.
- 10:08Speaker 6: Top officials of the US Secret Service repeatedly denied requests
- 10:11Speaker 6: for additional resources and personnel sought by Donald Trump's security
- 10:14Speaker 6: detail in the two years leading up to his attempted assassination,
- 10:18Speaker 6: according to four people familiar with the requests, is that
- 10:22Speaker 6: right that repeatedly the Trump detail asked for more resources
- 10:26Speaker 6: and repeatedly Secret Service leadership turned that down.
- 10:29Speaker 3: That is not accurate. Senator assets are requested. There's a
- 10:33Speaker 3: process that has made How many.
- 10:36Speaker 6: Requests did the Trump team or the Trump.
- 10:39Speaker 4: Detail ask for?
- 10:40Speaker 3: I can get you that number in a Q.
- 10:42Speaker 4: You don't know now, so I.
- 10:43Speaker 3: Can speak to the ones that reported in the Washington
- 10:46Speaker 3: Post and we can go through them if you like.
- 10:48Speaker 4: But you don't know how many requests there were.
- 10:51Speaker 3: In general, how many requests since twenty twenty one that
- 10:54Speaker 3: the former Trump detail has made a request for asking.
- 10:56Speaker 4: You've had two weeks.
- 10:57Speaker 6: You had a spokesperson put something out that is fall
- 11:00Speaker 6: on its face. By the way, did you approve this
- 11:02Speaker 6: statement when it went out?
- 11:04Speaker 3: I don't know if I did or didn't say has.
- 11:06Speaker 6: This spokesperson is he still employed to he still have
- 11:08Speaker 6: still employed center, so he lied on behalf of the
- 11:10Speaker 6: Secret Service.
- 11:11Speaker 4: He still has a job.
- 11:12Speaker 6: Did your predecessor, the former director, does she approve the statement?
- 11:16Speaker 3: Senator? Our comms team they send out statements, they do
- 11:21Speaker 3: deconflict them, and they put them out.
- 11:24Speaker 4: Did she approve this statement?
- 11:26Speaker 3: I don't know if she did or did not.
- 11:27Speaker 4: And you don't know if you did either.
- 11:29Speaker 3: I don't recall approving it, Senator.
- 11:32Speaker 6: Will you commit to provide this committee in writing every
- 11:36Speaker 6: written request for additional resources from the Trump campaign or
- 11:40Speaker 6: the Trump Detail and every response from Secret Service?
- 11:44Speaker 3: Senator, I will commit to providing responses and getting you
- 11:48Speaker 3: the information that you're seeking.
- 11:52Speaker 6: Me ask you something, and who makes the decision to
- 11:55Speaker 6: deny those requests?
- 11:56Speaker 4: Did you make that decision?
- 11:58Speaker 3: Which requests are you talking about the any of the post?
- 12:01Speaker 4: Yes?
- 12:02Speaker 3: The processor is that a detail will make a request
- 12:06Speaker 3: for either staffing technical assets. That is handled between the
- 12:11Speaker 3: field office and the detail. It goes up to a
- 12:14Speaker 3: logistics office between Okay.
- 12:17Speaker 4: So there's a bureaucracy. Is there a decision maker?
- 12:19Speaker 6: It's not a bureaucracy, Senator, that's a person that's a
- 12:21Speaker 6: decision maker, is there one.
- 12:24Speaker 3: Senator, It's a conversation. It's not just an absolute yet.
- 12:27Speaker 3: So let me tell you what I believe.
- 12:29Speaker 6: I believe that the Secret Service leadership made a political
- 12:33Speaker 6: decision to deny these requests, and I think the Biden
- 12:37Speaker 6: administration has been suffused with partisan politics. Did the same
- 12:41Speaker 6: person who denied the request for additional security to President
- 12:44Speaker 6: Trump also repeatedly deny the request for security to Robert F.
- 12:48Speaker 6: Kennedy Junior, whose father was murdered by an assassin and
- 12:52Speaker 6: whose uncle was murdered by an assassin? Did the same
- 12:54Speaker 6: person make that decision?
- 12:56Speaker 3: Senator? What I will tell you is that Secret Service
- 12:59Speaker 3: agents are not political.
- 13:00Speaker 6: Okay, you're not answering. You know what leadership you're in
- 13:03Speaker 6: by the president. Leadership appointed by the president is political.
- 13:07Speaker 4: I have a simple question, yes or no?
- 13:10Speaker 6: Did the same person deny the Trump requests that also
- 13:14Speaker 6: denied the RFK request.
- 13:16Speaker 4: That's a yes or no.
- 13:16Speaker 3: Question, Senator. That is not a yes or no question.
- 13:20Speaker 4: One.
- 13:21Speaker 3: There is a process for a candidate nominee to receive protection.
- 13:24Speaker 4: Is there a by Cameron?
- 13:26Speaker 3: Does the bike stop body artisan process that they say
- 13:30Speaker 3: by cameral bipartisan process.
- 13:32Speaker 4: What camera candidate not a congress you have a cameral.
- 13:36Speaker 3: Mister Kennedy submitted a request that was referred over to
- 13:40Speaker 3: the Sea Pack.
- 13:40Speaker 6: Okay, you're refusing to answer the question. Let me ask
- 13:43Speaker 6: because because the failures on that day were catastrophic. By
- 13:46Speaker 6: the way, is it true that on the day of
- 13:48Speaker 6: the of the Butler events that Secret Service transferred agent
- 13:51Speaker 6: from President Trump to the.
- 13:52Speaker 3: First Lady H No, sir, that's not true.
- 13:56Speaker 4: That's been widely reported.
- 13:58Speaker 3: It's not true. There was one airport agent that actually
- 14:00Speaker 3: went on the MANPI request for the Trump detail. They
- 14:03Speaker 3: handled the arrival at the airport.
- 14:04Speaker 6: What is what was the relative size of the Trump
- 14:08Speaker 6: detail compared to the detail that is assigned to the
- 14:10Speaker 6: president of the First Lady?
- 14:13Speaker 3: Senator? The former president travels with a full shift just
- 14:16Speaker 3: like the president.
- 14:17Speaker 6: What's the red so the exact same size? Is that
- 14:19Speaker 6: your testimony that the President Trump had the same size
- 14:22Speaker 6: detail that President Biden has.
- 14:24Speaker 3: On the day of Inbuler the agent surrounding him. It
- 14:27Speaker 3: is the same number of agents surrounding the president today.
- 14:30Speaker 3: There is a difference between the sitting president who also
- 14:33Speaker 3: not only.
- 14:34Speaker 6: And you're using President in a way that is not clear.
- 14:37Speaker 6: Is it your testimony that in Butler, Pennsylvania, Donald Trump
- 14:41Speaker 6: had the same number of agents protecting him that Joe
- 14:44Speaker 6: Biden has at a comparable event.
- 14:47Speaker 3: I'm telling you the shift, the closet protection shift surrounded. Yes,
- 14:51Speaker 3: or you asked me, Senator, I'm trying to answer it.
- 14:53Speaker 4: You are not answering it. Is it the same number
- 14:55Speaker 4: of agents or not?
- 14:57Speaker 3: Senator, there is a difference between the sitting president of
- 15:00Speaker 3: the United States and what's the difference the.
- 15:02Speaker 4: Difference two x three x five?
- 15:04Speaker 3: Actional command authority to launch a nuclear strike?
- 15:07Speaker 6: I'm not over assets. How many more with the president?
- 15:11Speaker 6: That's our former president. You're refusing the number of secret services.
- 15:15Speaker 6: Stop interrupting him, Stop interrupting me, go ahead, order. Refusing
- 15:19Speaker 6: to answer clear and direct questions. I am asking the
- 15:23Speaker 6: relative difference in the number of agents between those assigned
- 15:28Speaker 6: to Donald Trump and those assigned to Joe Biden. I'm
- 15:30Speaker 6: not asking why you assign more to Joe Biden. I'm
- 15:33Speaker 6: asking is the difference?
- 15:34Speaker 4: Is it two x? Is it three X? Is it
- 15:37Speaker 4: five X? Is it ten X? Senator?
- 15:39Speaker 3: I will get you that number so you can see
- 15:41Speaker 3: it with your own eyes.
- 15:43Speaker 1: Senator number one, let's start the end. He says, he
- 15:48Speaker 1: will get you those numbers. This is not a hard question.
- 15:51Speaker 1: You asked about the difference in the details, and yet
- 15:54Speaker 1: he clearly didn't want to answer that question. Is that
- 15:57Speaker 1: because we're going to be so shocked by what that answer?
- 16:00Speaker 4: There is so listening.
- 16:02Speaker 6: He engaged in a very deliberate effort at deception. He said,
- 16:08Speaker 6: the close protective detail is identical. Now understand a secret
- 16:13Speaker 6: service detail that is protecting someone. You have the close
- 16:18Speaker 6: protective detail, which are the agents that actually surround the
- 16:21Speaker 6: protect tea. You also have typically a perimeter that is
- 16:27Speaker 6: often at three levels, the close protection, a second perimeter
- 16:31Speaker 6: level that's often where you see magnetometers, that's often where
- 16:34Speaker 6: you see people examined, and then you have the furthest
- 16:37Speaker 6: out perimeter. What he did not want to answer is
- 16:43Speaker 6: how many agents we're protecting Donald Trump? How many agents
- 16:48Speaker 6: typically protect Joe Biden? And by the way, how many
- 16:51Speaker 6: agents protect the first Lady Jill Biden. Now I can
- 16:54Speaker 6: tell you following up this cross examination, we have what
- 16:58Speaker 6: are called QFRS Questions.
- 17:00Speaker 5: For the record.
- 17:01Speaker 6: So I am submitting written questions. I am asking the
- 17:06Speaker 6: acting Director of the Secret Service. Number one? How many
- 17:09Speaker 6: agents were assigned to Donald Trump? Number two? How many
- 17:12Speaker 6: are typically assigned to Joe Biden?
- 17:14Speaker 2: Number three?
- 17:14Speaker 6: How many are typically assigned the First Lady. Now, to
- 17:16Speaker 6: be clear, and this is where listen, there's some strategy
- 17:20Speaker 6: in terms of how you approach across examination like this
- 17:23Speaker 6: in public hearing. I did not ask him this in
- 17:27Speaker 6: a public hearing why because he would refuse to answer.
- 17:30Speaker 6: He what he would say is, I'm not going to
- 17:33Speaker 6: disclose to you how many agents are assigned to Donald
- 17:35Speaker 6: Trump because that would endanger the security of the protective detail.
- 17:39Speaker 6: And that's a reasonable response. It's why I didn't ask
- 17:43Speaker 6: the question. Because there's there's something that is known as
- 17:46Speaker 6: law enforcement confidential. So when I ask him a question
- 17:51Speaker 6: for the record, listen, I have TSSCI clearance. I have
- 17:55Speaker 6: the top level of security clearance there exists in the government.
- 17:59Speaker 6: I want to know the exact number how many friggin
- 18:03Speaker 6: agents were assigned to Trump, how many were a signed
- 18:06Speaker 6: to the First Lady, how many were assigned to the President.
- 18:08Speaker 6: I'm not going to reveal those numbers, so when I
- 18:10Speaker 6: get them, I'm assuming he will tell me. If he
- 18:14Speaker 6: tells me, their law enforcement confidential. I'm not going to
- 18:16Speaker 6: repeat them on this podcast, but what I am going
- 18:19Speaker 6: to repeat is what I asked him that he refused
- 18:22Speaker 6: to answer. What is the relative difference? I understand, Joe Biden,
- 18:27Speaker 6: the sitting president's detail is larger than Trump's, but by
- 18:32Speaker 6: what margin? Is it double? Is it triple? Is it
- 18:37Speaker 6: five X?
- 18:37Speaker 4: Is it ten x?
- 18:39Speaker 6: He did not want to answer that question. The American
- 18:42Speaker 6: people are entitled to know that question.
- 18:45Speaker 1: Let's also go back to some other questions that were
- 18:49Speaker 1: asked of him, and I think these are important. One
- 18:51Speaker 1: of them came from one of your good friends and colleagues,
- 18:54Speaker 1: Mike Lee.
- 18:55Speaker 2: A very simple question. Take a listen.
- 18:58Speaker 3: No information regarding a weapon on the roof was ever
- 19:01Speaker 3: passed to our personnel. How is that even possible? Do
- 19:07Speaker 3: you want to comment to that Senator again? I believe
- 19:10Speaker 3: that information and this is probably something my colleague can
- 19:15Speaker 3: expound on, information that was in law enforcement local law
- 19:20Speaker 3: enforcement channels but did not cross over and make it
- 19:23Speaker 3: to secret service awareness.
- 19:25Speaker 1: I mean, that might be one of the worst answers
- 19:27Speaker 1: I've ever heard center and the fact that he's confirming
- 19:30Speaker 1: what we were terrified of, which is no information regarding
- 19:35Speaker 1: a weapon on the roof, where the shooter on the
- 19:36Speaker 1: roof was ever passed to our personnel. Now, when he
- 19:40Speaker 1: refers to our personnel, he's clearly referring to those in
- 19:44Speaker 1: the Secret Service or the Secret Service Sniper team. And
- 19:48Speaker 1: Mike Lee's response is spot on right. How is that
- 19:51Speaker 1: even possible?
- 19:53Speaker 6: Yeah, Look, this was, as I said, a catastrophic security
- 19:59Speaker 6: failure by the leadership of the Secret Service. They are
- 20:02Speaker 6: not taking responsibility for that failure. Now, I got to
- 20:05Speaker 6: tell you the way this hearing was set up, we
- 20:08Speaker 6: had five minute rounds. It is difficult to walk through
- 20:11Speaker 6: the details of what you need to get through in
- 20:13Speaker 6: five minutes. I ended up taking about seven, which meant
- 20:16Speaker 6: I went about two minutes.
- 20:17Speaker 4: Over and that's always leary.
- 20:19Speaker 6: But let me tell you some of the other questions
- 20:21Speaker 6: that I had that I was prepared to ask, But
- 20:24Speaker 6: because the acting director of the Secret Service was filibustering
- 20:27Speaker 6: to some extent, he was interrupting me to some extent,
- 20:30Speaker 6: he was belligerent to a significant extent, I didn't get
- 20:34Speaker 6: to them. But there are a whole series of questions
- 20:37Speaker 6: that need to be answers. And by the way, I'm
- 20:39Speaker 6: asking every one of these questions in writing. So in
- 20:43Speaker 6: a follow up to hearing, you ask written questions number one.
- 20:47Speaker 6: The shooter when he came into the rally site in Butler, Pennsylvania,
- 20:53Speaker 6: he was stopped by Secret Service at the metal detectors.
- 20:57Speaker 6: He had a rangefinder with him. That was at three pm.
- 21:02Speaker 6: Why did Secret Service not detain him? Why did they
- 21:06Speaker 6: not question him about the ragefinder? Now, the acting director
- 21:11Speaker 6: of the Secret Service, he said, well, it was a
- 21:13Speaker 6: recreational rangefinder. It was like a golf rangefinder that you
- 21:17Speaker 6: used to look the distance of the pin. Now you're
- 21:19Speaker 6: right now, you're with your son at the World Championship.
- 21:23Speaker 6: You probably have a golf rangefinder.
- 21:25Speaker 4: Yes, you know what.
- 21:27Speaker 6: You know what in Butler, Pennsylvania, they weren't playing golf.
- 21:32Speaker 6: They weren't trying to figure out where the pin was.
- 21:36Speaker 6: There is no benign or innocious explanation for why someone
- 21:40Speaker 6: shows up at a political rally with a rangefinder. So
- 21:44Speaker 6: that's question number one. Why didn't you detain him? Why
- 21:46Speaker 6: didn't you question him? Why didn't you say why the
- 21:48Speaker 6: hell do you have this rangefinder?
- 21:49Speaker 4: They didn't.
- 21:50Speaker 6: After that, two and a half hours later, at about
- 21:53Speaker 6: five point thirty, the shooter was seen. And by the way,
- 21:57Speaker 6: let me be making a side. You will notice on
- 21:59Speaker 6: this podcast, I will never ever ever say the name
- 22:02Speaker 6: of the shooter. I think people that commit heinous acts
- 22:06Speaker 6: like this are evil bastards who deserve to be forgotten
- 22:10Speaker 6: by history. So I will never I'll call him the shooter,
- 22:13Speaker 6: but I will not repeat his name. But the shooter
- 22:16Speaker 6: at about five point thirty was observed using the rangefinder
- 22:21Speaker 6: to measure the distance from where he was to the
- 22:24Speaker 6: podium where Donald Trump was. The next obvious question, why
- 22:30Speaker 6: did was the shooter not detain?
- 22:34Speaker 4: Then question?
- 22:35Speaker 6: Then he was observed by law enforcement scoping out the distance.
- 22:40Speaker 6: That is obvious and highly suspicious activity. Third question, why
- 22:45Speaker 6: were there not more agents? We had repeated requests over
- 22:49Speaker 6: and over and over again from the Trump team. We
- 22:51Speaker 6: need more agents, We need more agents. Why were they
- 22:53Speaker 6: not more agents in the outer perimeter? Why there were
- 22:55Speaker 6: they not more agents? On another question, why was there
- 22:59Speaker 6: not a Secret Service agent on that rooftop? It is
- 23:04Speaker 6: obvious it was about one hundred and forty yards away
- 23:06Speaker 6: from the president. That is a clean line of sight
- 23:08Speaker 6: for a sniper. That is not a difficult shot. Why
- 23:11Speaker 6: was there not a Secret Service agent? On that roof
- 23:15Speaker 6: to ensure that nobody else was there. He did not
- 23:17Speaker 6: answer that question either.
- 23:19Speaker 2: Why let me ask you this question.
- 23:21Speaker 1: Let me ask you this question on that because there's
- 23:23Speaker 1: a lot of people that ask me this, and I
- 23:25Speaker 1: want you to.
- 23:26Speaker 2: Answer your perspective.
- 23:29Speaker 1: If they didn't have a team, right, There's been arguments
- 23:31Speaker 1: when maybe they didn't have a team to cover that roof,
- 23:34Speaker 1: and so it was lack of resources.
- 23:36Speaker 4: Assign the dam agents.
- 23:38Speaker 6: There are four thousand Secret Service agents assign the agent.
- 23:44Speaker 6: So one of the fundamental problems is the Secret Service.
- 23:47Speaker 6: I believe I haven't had this confirmed, but here's what
- 23:49Speaker 6: I believe was happening. They were treating Donald Trump as
- 23:53Speaker 6: a former president. Now, listen, former presidents have Secret Service
- 23:57Speaker 6: protection for life. So jim Carter right now, who is
- 24:02Speaker 6: almost one hundred years old, Jimmy Carter has a Secret
- 24:05Speaker 6: Service detail now, to be honest, that's right, that's good.
- 24:11Speaker 6: But the threats against Jimmy Carter at this point in
- 24:13Speaker 6: his life are very low. There are just not a
- 24:16Speaker 6: lot of acting Trump. There are not a lot of
- 24:20Speaker 6: active murderers seeking to kill Jimmy Carter at the very
- 24:24Speaker 6: end of his natural life. We know by the way
- 24:27Speaker 6: the nation of Iran has hired assassins to murder Trump.
- 24:33Speaker 6: So you don't just have crazy ass lunatics who want
- 24:36Speaker 6: to shoot him. You literally have a nation state with
- 24:39Speaker 6: billions of dollars to fund assassins to murder him. And
- 24:43Speaker 6: what I believe the Secret Service here's what I think happened.
- 24:46Speaker 6: The Biden administration is political in every decision it makes.
- 24:51Speaker 6: I think they didn't want to up Trump's security detail
- 24:56Speaker 6: because if they did so, they would have to acknowledge
- 25:00Speaker 6: his legitimacy. Listen, Trump is not just a former president
- 25:03Speaker 6: who's retired and is off like painting paintings and building
- 25:08Speaker 6: houses for habitat for humanity. He is the Republican nominee
- 25:11Speaker 6: to b president. Right now, he is I think likely
- 25:15Speaker 6: the next president of the United States. And the Biden administration,
- 25:20Speaker 6: I believe this was all politics. The leadership of the
- 25:23Speaker 6: Secret Service did not want to up his detail because
- 25:26Speaker 6: it would be according credibility and seriousness to his campaign.
- 25:31Speaker 6: It is I believe, the identical reason they refused repeatedly
- 25:37Speaker 6: to give a Secret Service detailed Robert F. Kennedy Junior,
- 25:40Speaker 6: Now listen, you and I on this podcast months ago
- 25:44Speaker 6: called them out and said it is outrageous.
- 25:46Speaker 4: Robert F.
- 25:47Speaker 6: Kennedy Junior, his father RFK Senior was murdered when he
- 25:55Speaker 6: was running for president of the United States. His uncle
- 25:58Speaker 6: JFK was ordered as the sitting president of the United States.
- 26:03Speaker 6: RFK Junior has had multiple death threats. He has had
- 26:07Speaker 6: multiple attempts on his life, and I believe the reason
- 26:10Speaker 6: that the Biden administration didn't give him a Secret Service
- 26:13Speaker 6: protection is they hate the fact that another Democrat is
- 26:17Speaker 6: running against what was then Joe Biden now Kamala Harris,
- 26:20Speaker 6: and if they gave Secret Services protection to him, it
- 26:23Speaker 6: would be acknowledging he was legitimate. That is, if that
- 26:27Speaker 6: is the basis. It is a purely political decision. It
- 26:31Speaker 6: is indefensible and we need to get answers on it.
- 26:35Speaker 1: Senator, I want to ask you another couple quick questions
- 26:38Speaker 1: about this, because there's so much that came out in
- 26:40Speaker 1: this hearing. One of them you mentioned a moment ago
- 26:43Speaker 1: was about Iran, and I want to play this because
- 26:47Speaker 1: I do think it just shows how shocking how unprepared
- 26:53Speaker 1: the Secret Service was, not just at this event, but
- 26:56Speaker 1: maybe at many other events that were supposed to be
- 26:58Speaker 1: protecting Donald Trump.
- 27:00Speaker 7: What is the nature of the Iran threat? The threat
- 27:04Speaker 7: to former President Trump? That has been mentioned, but we
- 27:08Speaker 7: know that.
- 27:10Speaker 5: Let me be clear here, the terrorist regime of Iran
- 27:15Speaker 5: have been targeting people our country for many, many years now.
- 27:19Speaker 5: We've talked about that here before. I want to be
- 27:21Speaker 5: clear about that. From the FBI stampoint we have, we
- 27:24Speaker 5: know publicly they've put they've targeted former President Trump, they've
- 27:30Speaker 5: called for his assassination.
- 27:33Speaker 1: I mean that they know this, and they say they've
- 27:35Speaker 1: been doing this for years, and yet you let this
- 27:38Speaker 1: building just sit unattended. And I go back to the
- 27:41Speaker 1: question I asked you earlier, because it's a question many
- 27:44Speaker 1: have asked, if let's just say hypothetical center, they didn't
- 27:47Speaker 1: have the manpower hypothetical for the Secret Service, and I
- 27:50Speaker 1: have the manpower, yet it Why wouldn't they have used
- 27:53Speaker 1: those that were on the ground there locally, the squat
- 27:56Speaker 1: teams that were there locally to cover that roof.
- 27:59Speaker 6: Well and to some ex so the Secret Service was
- 28:01Speaker 6: trying to pass the blame to local law enforcement. They
- 28:04Speaker 6: were saying, well, local law enforcement screwed up, and so
- 28:07Speaker 6: they said at one point that there were local swat
- 28:10Speaker 6: teams that were supposed to be monitoring that roof, and
- 28:13Speaker 6: there's been testimony that there was a local swat team
- 28:15Speaker 6: there and then they disappeared. Now they won't tell us
- 28:17Speaker 6: who it was. They won't tell us who made the
- 28:20Speaker 6: decision to leave that post. There has been media reports
- 28:24Speaker 6: that there was someone assigned to be on that roof
- 28:26Speaker 6: but it was too hot, so they left. We need
- 28:28Speaker 6: to know the answer to that that that is. They're
- 28:30Speaker 6: they're they're not. But what's what the Secret Service is
- 28:33Speaker 6: trying to do is pass the buck to local law enforcement.
- 28:35Speaker 6: Say local law enforcement screwed up. But I'll tell you
- 28:38Speaker 6: a couple other questions that I was going to ask
- 28:40Speaker 6: and that I that I am asking and writing. So
- 28:45Speaker 6: we know and we've seen the videos. In fact, we
- 28:47Speaker 6: played this on this podcast at the time. There were
- 28:51Speaker 6: multiple spectators who were outside the perimeter who saw the
- 28:55Speaker 6: shooter on the roof. They saw the shooter on the
- 28:57Speaker 6: roof with a gun with a rifle, and they began
- 29:00Speaker 6: screaming and yelling and saying there's a man on the roof,
- 29:02Speaker 6: a man on the roof of the gun. They began
- 29:05Speaker 6: doing that one minute and fifty seven seconds before the
- 29:09Speaker 6: shooting began. That's a lot of time they told local
- 29:14Speaker 6: law enforcement it was a sign in that outer perimeter
- 29:17Speaker 6: there's a man on the roof with a gun. Now,
- 29:20Speaker 6: one of the enormous problems is there was apparently zero
- 29:26Speaker 6: coordination and communication between local law enforcement and secret serpents.
- 29:31Speaker 6: So a natural question a minute in fifty seven seconds
- 29:34Speaker 6: before the shooting began, spectators observe a man on the
- 29:39Speaker 6: roof of a gun.
- 29:40Speaker 4: Why did the local police officers who.
- 29:43Speaker 6: Were there not immediately radio Secret Service and say there's
- 29:48Speaker 6: a shooter. Pull President Trump down. That's what you do
- 29:53Speaker 6: in that circumstance, is you pull him down. If you
- 29:56Speaker 6: have the protect tee and you know that there's a
- 29:59Speaker 6: potential sniper and it's a dangerous situation, you go up,
- 30:01Speaker 6: you pull him down, say miss President, you need to
- 30:03Speaker 6: come down for a second, and you just pull them
- 30:04Speaker 6: out of the harm's way and then you go and
- 30:07Speaker 6: deal with the law enforcement threat. Why did they not
- 30:09Speaker 6: do that for a minute and fifty seven second And
- 30:11Speaker 6: what appears to be the answer, but the acting director
- 30:14Speaker 6: would not answer it is there was no interoperability. There
- 30:18Speaker 6: was no communication between local law enforcement and the Secret Service. Now,
- 30:23Speaker 6: and it gets even worse, a local police officer climbed
- 30:27Speaker 6: up on the shoulders of another local police officer climbed
- 30:30Speaker 6: up to the roof. So when the peoplers are yelling, hey,
- 30:32Speaker 6: there's a guy with a gun, he climbed up to
- 30:35Speaker 6: see it. He climbs up to the roof. He pulls
- 30:38Speaker 6: his head up, and the shooter turns and points his
- 30:42Speaker 6: rifle at the officer's head. Now, the officer ducks because
- 30:47Speaker 6: he doesn't want to get shot in the head. And
- 30:49Speaker 6: the testimony was he fell about eight feet to the ground.
- 30:54Speaker 6: That happened twenty four seconds before the first shot was
- 31:01Speaker 6: Now in any ordinary insane situation, the officer as he
- 31:05Speaker 6: sees the rifle, as he sees the man on the roof,
- 31:07Speaker 6: so he knows. You're a police officer that knows there's
- 31:10Speaker 6: a shooter with a rifle on the roof. While the
- 31:13Speaker 6: president is talking, here's what should happen. The officer as
- 31:18Speaker 6: he's ducking down, he pulls out his radio and he says, gun, gun, gun, shooter.
- 31:25Speaker 4: Shooter, shooter.
- 31:26Speaker 6: And if the Secret Service here is that, they have
- 31:28Speaker 6: twenty four seconds for the detail to run up to
- 31:32Speaker 6: grab the president to pull him down under the podium.
- 31:34Speaker 6: And by the way, they also have two counter snipers.
- 31:38Speaker 6: If they get over the radio gun gun gun shooter,
- 31:40Speaker 6: shooter shooter, you've got twenty four seconds for the counter
- 31:43Speaker 6: snipers to see the sniper, see the shooter, and take
- 31:47Speaker 6: him out. If that happens, President Trump is not shot,
- 31:52Speaker 6: Fire Chief Corey Comparatory is not murdered. The two other
- 31:58Speaker 6: people who are severely injured or not injured, And what
- 32:02Speaker 6: appears to be the case, although the acting director of
- 32:06Speaker 6: the Secret Service would not confirm this, is there was
- 32:09Speaker 6: no radio interoperability. In other words, what the local police
- 32:13Speaker 6: officer saw, he could not communicate with Secret Service, and
- 32:19Speaker 6: that is utterly unacceptable and what is infuriating. There was
- 32:23Speaker 6: nothing in the hearing yesterday that suggested they've changed what
- 32:27Speaker 6: they've done. So if they're relying on local law enforcement
- 32:31Speaker 6: for important security and yet they have no way to
- 32:34Speaker 6: communicate with local law enforcement about what they're seeing, it
- 32:39Speaker 6: is fundamentally ineffective. And the most important question is what
- 32:43Speaker 6: are they doing to prevent this from happening again? And
- 32:49Speaker 6: there was zero answer to that question in the hearing yesterday.
- 32:54Speaker 1: Final question on this and somebody sent this to me
- 32:57Speaker 1: earlier today and I'm just going to read it the
- 32:59Speaker 1: way it was sent to me. Quote, it's sad that
- 33:01Speaker 1: we live in the country. Now, we're a hard working,
- 33:05Speaker 1: regular guy who goes to work from seven in the
- 33:08Speaker 1: morning till nine o'clock at night or eight o'clock put
- 33:12Speaker 1: in fifty sixty hour week, will quote face more professional
- 33:17Speaker 1: consequences for sharing an offensive joke online than the unelected
- 33:22Speaker 1: bureaucrats task with protecting our president will face for almost
- 33:26Speaker 1: getting the leading candidate killed. Now, according to the acting
- 33:31Speaker 1: Secret Service director, he admitted to you guys yesterday that
- 33:34Speaker 1: no agent assigned to the Trump July thirteenth rally has
- 33:39Speaker 1: been fired. And in fact there's only the secret the
- 33:43Speaker 1: head of the Secret Service that was forced to resign
- 33:45Speaker 1: after a horrible display on Capitol Hill. But it doesn't
- 33:48Speaker 1: seem like there's been any other accountability. And that's sad,
- 33:51Speaker 1: isn't it.
- 33:53Speaker 6: It's infuriating. So, as best I can tell, in almost
- 33:57Speaker 6: four years of Joe Biden Kamala Harris being the White House,
- 34:01Speaker 6: not a single person has been fired from any job whatsoever.
- 34:06Speaker 6: You have the disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal. It was an absolute debacle.
- 34:10Speaker 6: It was embarrassing, it undermined the US military. It led
- 34:13Speaker 6: to the deaths of thirteen servicemen and women. Nobody was fired.
- 34:17Speaker 6: There was no accountability.
- 34:19Speaker 4: You have here the first.
- 34:22Speaker 6: Shooting of a presidential candidate, a former president since nineteen
- 34:29Speaker 6: eighty one.
- 34:29Speaker 4: Since Ronald Reagan. Nobody was fired.
- 34:32Speaker 6: In any sane world, the director of the Secret Service
- 34:34Speaker 6: would have resigned that day. In any sane world, the
- 34:37Speaker 6: president would have fired the director of the Secret Service.
- 34:40Speaker 6: But there's no accountability. Now you now have the acting director.
- 34:43Speaker 6: And one question you asked me at the beginning of
- 34:46Speaker 6: this pot should the acting director be fired? And I'm
- 34:50Speaker 6: going to say, I don't know. I think the proof
- 34:53Speaker 6: is in the pudding. So on one level, the acting director,
- 34:58Speaker 6: whom I don't know personally, but he's been a long
- 35:02Speaker 6: time career Secret Service agent and officer. His answers demonstrated
- 35:08Speaker 6: massively more candor than the old director. The old director
- 35:14Speaker 6: was handpicked by Joe Biden and Joe Biden I believe
- 35:17Speaker 6: the old director was there. She used to be on
- 35:20Speaker 6: Joe Biden's Secret Service detail when he was vice president.
- 35:23Speaker 6: I think they handpicked her because they wanted the Secret
- 35:26Speaker 6: Service to cover up Joe Biden's massive mental decline, and
- 35:32Speaker 6: so they put her in that place as a political
- 35:35Speaker 6: decision to protect his political vulnerabilities. That's what I believe.
- 35:39Speaker 6: But she was and we talked about this in a
- 35:41Speaker 6: prior podcast. When she did on all Senators briefings, she
- 35:45Speaker 6: stonewalled she would not answer any questions. She said they
- 35:48Speaker 6: did everything perfectly except for the fact that the president
- 35:51Speaker 6: was shot. And by the way, to be clear, had
- 35:55Speaker 6: the bullet been a half inch to the left, Donald
- 36:00Speaker 6: Trump would be dead today. She described this as a
- 36:03Speaker 6: success for the Secret Service. It's not a success. It
- 36:08Speaker 6: is I think God's providence. I believe God turned Trump's head.
- 36:14Speaker 6: But we came within a half inch of the history
- 36:17Speaker 6: of the world being changed that day. So compared to
- 36:22Speaker 6: the former director, the acting director is at least admitting
- 36:27Speaker 6: they screwed it up, they did something wrong. He has
- 36:30Speaker 6: some modicum of candor. Here's my answer in terms of
- 36:32Speaker 6: whether he should be fired. How does he answer the
- 36:37Speaker 6: questions for the record that I and other senators ask him.
- 36:40Speaker 6: I believe the Secret Service needs radical transparency. Among the
- 36:45Speaker 6: questions I'm asking also is how many threats are directed
- 36:48Speaker 6: right now in the last year against Donald Trump, how
- 36:51Speaker 6: many threats are directed against Joe Biden? How many threat
- 36:53Speaker 6: threats are directed against the First Lady? And had to
- 36:55Speaker 6: be clear all three need to be protected. I'm not
- 36:58Speaker 6: saying that Joe Biden should not be protected, but one
- 37:02Speaker 6: of the public press reports is on the day of
- 37:05Speaker 6: the Butler rally, they pulled members of Trump's security detail
- 37:08Speaker 6: and put them on the First Lady's detail. Now I
- 37:12Speaker 6: don't know this, but Secret Service does. But I'm going
- 37:15Speaker 6: to venture a guess that the number of threats against
- 37:20Speaker 6: Trump versus against the First Lady, it is at least
- 37:26Speaker 6: one hundred x, and it wouldn't surprise me if it
- 37:28Speaker 6: is a thousand x that I think Donald Trump is
- 37:32Speaker 6: the most threatened person on the face of the planet.
- 37:36Speaker 6: And if it is the case, it is all the
- 37:38Speaker 6: more indefensible that the Secret Service political leadership would not
- 37:43Speaker 6: provide sufficient agents to keep him safe. And I'm asking
- 37:47Speaker 6: them how many threats against Trump? How many threats against
- 37:50Speaker 6: Joe Biden? How many threats against Joe Biden? Will see
- 37:53Speaker 6: if they answer that, you know, based on the testimony,
- 37:56Speaker 6: I'm skeptical that they will.
- 37:58Speaker 2: Center.
- 37:58Speaker 1: Finally, I want to move to some of this breaking
- 38:01Speaker 1: news and it is an important moment that's happening in
- 38:04Speaker 1: the Middle East right now. Israel is doing everything they
- 38:08Speaker 1: can to protect their people, and they're also having success
- 38:12Speaker 1: and taking out terrorists and terrorist leaders that have been
- 38:17Speaker 1: orchestrating many of these attacks on Israel, including taking out
- 38:21Speaker 1: someone in Iran in Tehran.
- 38:25Speaker 6: Well, that's exactly right, and they're two huge stories in
- 38:28Speaker 6: terms of the war in Israel, the war against Amas
- 38:32Speaker 6: and against Hesbela. One story that broke late this afternoon
- 38:39Speaker 6: and evening is a story that says IDF kills HESBELA
- 38:43Speaker 6: commander behind brutal attack on children's soccer field. And this
- 38:48Speaker 6: is a Fox News story that's being reported everywhere. Fud Shuker,
- 38:54Speaker 6: whose death is unconfirmed by Hesbela, was wanted by US
- 38:58Speaker 6: government connection to the nineteen ninety in nineteen eighty three
- 39:01Speaker 6: Marine barracks bombing in Beirut, and IDF forces on Tuesday
- 39:06Speaker 6: announced the death of Fuad Shukar, the HESBELA commander who
- 39:10Speaker 6: was behind the drone strike that killed twelve children and
- 39:13Speaker 6: teens over the weekend. So over the weekend we saw
- 39:16Speaker 6: hesbel A fire rocket in northern Israel. It hit a
- 39:19Speaker 6: soccer field and twelve Israeli children were murdered. Continuing back
- 39:24Speaker 6: from the Fox News story, Shukar, who was also known
- 39:27Speaker 6: as haj Mohsen, joined Hesbel in nineteen eighty five. He
- 39:33Speaker 6: was also sought by the US government over his connection
- 39:37Speaker 6: to the nineteen eighty three suicide bombing of the Marine
- 39:40Speaker 6: Corps barracks in Beirut that killed two hundred and forty
- 39:43Speaker 6: one US service members. Shuker served as a senior advisor
- 39:48Speaker 6: to Hesbeli leader Hassan Nasrala at the time of his
- 39:51Speaker 6: death in an IDF strike on Tuesday in southern Bea route.
- 39:57Speaker 6: The IDF confirmed the news in a press release announced
- 40:00Speaker 6: seeing that it's fighter jets eliminated hesbela terrorist organization's most
- 40:05Speaker 6: senior military commanders, Shooker in Lebanon's capital city, now understand
- 40:13Speaker 6: this is a murderer responsible for murdering two hundred and
- 40:17Speaker 6: forty one US service members. This is a reason to celebrate. Listen,
- 40:22Speaker 6: the enemies of Israel are the enemies of America, the
- 40:27Speaker 6: enemies of Jews. Those who want to kill Jews want
- 40:30Speaker 6: to kill Christians, Hamas and Hesbela. They hate Israel, but
- 40:35Speaker 6: they hate America too, and This is an example where
- 40:39Speaker 6: Israel fighting the war, fighting the war against Hamas and
- 40:42Speaker 6: Hesbel at the same time is defeating someone who has
- 40:46Speaker 6: murdered hundreds of Americans. That is an enormous victory for
- 40:51Speaker 6: this country. And then let me say secondly, so you
- 40:54Speaker 6: and I are recording this podcast, it is eleven forty PM.
- 40:58Speaker 6: At eleven forty PM, this news has just broken.
- 41:01Speaker 4: So listen.
- 41:01Speaker 6: Any time you're dealing with matters of life and death
- 41:05Speaker 6: and war in peace, the news can move. So what
- 41:09Speaker 6: we're recording right now, it may be different by six
- 41:12Speaker 6: am tomorrow, but at eleven forty pm, let me read
- 41:15Speaker 6: the AP story. Iran says Hamas leader Ismail Haniya was
- 41:23Speaker 6: assassinated in Tehran, And let me just read the AP story.
- 41:26Speaker 6: Hamas leader Ismail Haniya was assassinated in Tehran. Iran's peramilitary
- 41:33Speaker 6: Revolutionary guards said early Wednesday. No one immediately claimed responsibility
- 41:38Speaker 6: for the assassination, but suspicion immediately fell on Israel No duh,
- 41:43Speaker 6: which is vowed to kill Haniya and other leaders of
- 41:47Speaker 6: Hamas over the group's October seventh attack on Israel that
- 41:51Speaker 6: killed one two hundred people and saw some two hundred
- 41:53Speaker 6: and fifty others taken hostage. Haniya was in Tehran to
- 41:59Speaker 6: attend Iran President Masud Pezeshkians swearing in on Tuesday. Iran
- 42:07Speaker 6: gave no details on how Haniya was killed, and the
- 42:10Speaker 6: guards said the attack was under investigation. Analysts on Iranian
- 42:14Speaker 6: state television immediately began blaming Israel for the attack. Israel
- 42:18Speaker 6: did not immediately comment, but it often doesn't when it
- 42:21Speaker 6: comes to assassinations carried out by their Massad intelligence agency.
- 42:26Speaker 6: To come up within twenty four hours with number one
- 42:30Speaker 6: killing the top military commander of Hesbelah responsible for murdering
- 42:35Speaker 6: twelve Israeli children in northern Israel with a rocket attack
- 42:38Speaker 6: and also responsible for two hundred and forty one American
- 42:42Speaker 6: servicemen and women being killed in Beirut in nineteen eighty three.
- 42:47Speaker 6: That's a big damn deal. And then this taking out
- 42:52Speaker 6: the top leadership of AMAS. It's a big, big victory
- 42:56Speaker 6: for Israel and a big, big victory for America.
- 43:00Speaker 2: Can you share this podcast with your family and your friends.
- 43:02Speaker 1: Please share it on social media wherever you are and
- 43:06Speaker 1: I'll see it back here tomorrow
