- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome.
- 0:01Speaker 2: It is Verdict with Senator Ted Cruz Ben Ferguson with you, Senator. Yesterday,
- 0:06Speaker 2: my oh my, was in an interesting day on Capitol Hill.
- 0:10Speaker 1: And let's start with the headline.
- 0:11Speaker 2: We were supposed to get some answers about the assassination
- 0:14Speaker 2: intend on Donald Trump. You asked direct questions to the
- 0:19Speaker 2: acting director. Did we find out anything about how this happened?
- 0:23Speaker 3: Well, we had a blockbuster hearing yesterday in the Senate
- 0:26Speaker 3: Judiciary Committee with the acting Director of the Secret Service
- 0:29Speaker 3: and the Deputy Director of the FBI, and it was
- 0:33Speaker 3: designed to really get to the bottom of what went
- 0:35Speaker 3: wrong in Butler, Pennsylvania, what the Secret Service did wrong,
- 0:39Speaker 3: and how do we fix it? And I got to say,
- 0:42Speaker 3: it was frustrating, it was maddening. We saw an enormous
- 0:45Speaker 3: amount of stonewalling. We're going to walk through exactly what
- 0:49Speaker 3: happened in that hearing. Also, we've got major breaking news
- 0:52Speaker 3: about senior military leaders from Hesbola and Hamas being taken
- 0:58Speaker 3: out by Israel in the last twenty four hours. A big,
- 1:02Speaker 3: big victory for Israel, a big, big victory for America.
- 1:06Speaker 4: We're going to walk you through that right now.
- 1:08Speaker 1: Yeah, it's two major stories.
- 1:09Speaker 2: I want to tell you real quick though about our
- 1:11Speaker 2: good friends at Patriot Mobile. I spent yesterday with the
- 1:14Speaker 2: CEO of Patriot Mobile, and I can tell you it
- 1:17Speaker 2: is amazing what an impact they are having with so
- 1:21Speaker 2: many conservatives switching over to Patriot Mobile, especially during this
- 1:26Speaker 2: very important election year. You may not realize that if
- 1:30Speaker 2: you're with Big Mobile right now, you're giving by default
- 1:33Speaker 2: big donations to democratic causes and organizations that also include
- 1:39Speaker 2: Planned parenthood. Big Mobile gives big money to the left.
- 1:42Speaker 2: And that's exactly why I want you to switch to
- 1:45Speaker 2: Patriot Mobile. Now, let's talk about how easy it is
- 1:48Speaker 2: to switch and how good the coverage is. In twenty
- 1:51Speaker 2: twenty four, you're going to be using the same exact
- 1:53Speaker 2: towers that you're using right now, except you get rid
- 1:56Speaker 2: of the woke agenda that is attached to Big Mobile. Also,
- 2:00Speaker 2: keep your same cell phone number you have right now,
- 2:03Speaker 2: or if you want a new number, you can get that.
- 2:05Speaker 1: That's no problem.
- 2:06Speaker 2: You can keep your same cell phone that you have
- 2:08Speaker 2: right now, or you can upgrade to a new one.
- 2:11Speaker 1: But here's the best part.
- 2:12Speaker 2: Every time you use your phone, every time you make
- 2:14Speaker 2: a text, every time you pay that bill, They take
- 2:18Speaker 2: about five percent of your bill and they give it
- 2:20Speaker 2: back to conservative causes that you help choose a support
- 2:26Speaker 2: causes support are First and Second Amendment rights, the rights
- 2:29Speaker 2: of unborn children, and they support our military veterans, our
- 2:33Speaker 2: first responders, and are wounded warriors. So make the switch.
- 2:38Speaker 2: Switching is so easy now you can do it over
- 2:41Speaker 2: the phone. All you got to do is call them
- 2:44Speaker 2: nine to seven to two Patriot that's nine seven to
- 2:48Speaker 2: two Patriot, nine seven to two Patriot or Patriot Mobile
- 2:52Speaker 2: dot com slash verdict that's Patriot Mobile dot com slash verdict.
- 2:59Speaker 2: Use a promo cod Verdict and you'll get free activation center.
- 3:03Speaker 1: So set the stage for us real quick. I want
- 3:05Speaker 1: to play.
- 3:06Speaker 2: Obviously, you're back and forth with the acting director as
- 3:10Speaker 2: you got to ask a lot of questions and it
- 3:12Speaker 2: didn't go well for him.
- 3:13Speaker 1: It's made a lot of headlines.
- 3:15Speaker 2: But set the stage of how important this hearing was
- 3:18Speaker 2: and why it was taking place.
- 3:21Speaker 4: So this was yesterday morning.
- 3:23Speaker 3: It was a joint hearing of the Senate Judiciary Committee
- 3:26Speaker 3: and the Senate Committee on Homeland Security, and we had
- 3:30Speaker 3: the acting Director.
- 3:31Speaker 4: Of the Secret Service.
- 3:32Speaker 3: The former director has finally resigned given the catastrophic failures
- 3:36Speaker 3: we saw and the deputy director of the FBI. And
- 3:40Speaker 3: so it was a hearing that went all morning, and
- 3:42Speaker 3: I got to say there was enormous concerned, enormous skepticism.
- 3:46Speaker 3: We saw it from both Republicans and Democrats who were
- 3:50Speaker 3: asking about the disastrous failures of the Secret Service. And listen,
- 3:55Speaker 3: the acting director, he is somewhat better than the old director.
- 4:00Speaker 3: The old director was brazen, she was defiant. Her view
- 4:05Speaker 3: was we owe nothing, we owe no accountability, We will
- 4:08Speaker 3: not answer any question. We did everything right. To his credit,
- 4:13Speaker 3: the acting director began his testimony by saying, we screwed up.
- 4:17Speaker 3: We screwed up really badly. And the fact that there
- 4:20Speaker 3: was not an agent on the roof where the shooter
- 4:22Speaker 3: was was utterly indefensible. That's a step in the right direction.
- 4:27Speaker 3: That being said, he's stonewalled, and he's stonewalled in a
- 4:30Speaker 3: way that was infuriating. And look, rather than meet describe
- 4:34Speaker 3: it to you, just give a listen. Here's my questioning
- 4:37Speaker 3: of the acting Director of the Secret Service yesterday morning.
- 4:41Speaker 3: Thank you, miss chairman, misterro thank you for being here.
- 4:46Speaker 3: I agree with what you said at the outset that
- 4:47Speaker 3: the individual Secret Service agents demonstrated remarkable personal courage putting
- 4:52Speaker 3: their bodies in between the line of sight of the
- 4:55Speaker 3: shooter and the president. That being said, the bravery of
- 4:59Speaker 3: the line agents is quite different from the decisions of
- 5:01Speaker 3: Secret Service leadership. Secret Service leadership committed catastrophic security failures,
- 5:08Speaker 3: indeed the worst security failures for the Secret Service since
- 5:12Speaker 3: nineteen eighty one, since the attempted assassination of President Ronald Reagan.
- 5:18Speaker 3: It is incumbent upon this committee to determine why those
- 5:23Speaker 3: security failures happened. Just after the shooting, Secret Service put
- 5:30Speaker 3: out an official statement from your spokesperson that says, there's
- 5:33Speaker 3: an untrue assertion that a member of the former president's
- 5:35Speaker 3: team requested additional security resources that those were rebuffed.
- 5:39Speaker 4: This is absolutely false.
- 5:41Speaker 3: In fact, we added protective resources and technology and capabilities
- 5:44Speaker 3: as part of the increased campaign travel tempo.
- 5:48Speaker 5: Was this tweet accurate with respect to Butler, Pennsylvania. It
- 5:52Speaker 5: is accurate, sir.
- 5:54Speaker 3: It is accurate that the Trump team had not add
- 6:00Speaker 3: asked for additional security and had not been rebuffed.
- 6:03Speaker 5: If you're talking about Butler, Pennsylvania, all assets requested were approved.
- 6:07Speaker 5: If you're talking about the media reporting of assets requested.
- 6:13Speaker 5: There were times when assets were unavailable and not able
- 6:18Speaker 5: to be filled, and those gaps were staffed with state
- 6:21Speaker 5: and local law enforcement tactical assets.
- 6:24Speaker 3: So I'm reading from the Washington Post July twentieth, twenty
- 6:27Speaker 3: twenty four secret Services denied requests for more security at
- 6:31Speaker 3: Trump events the opening paragraph. Top officials of the US
- 6:33Speaker 3: Secret Service repeatedly denied requests for additional resources and personnel
- 6:38Speaker 3: sought by Donald Trump's security detail in the two years
- 6:40Speaker 3: leading up to his attempted assassination, according to four people
- 6:44Speaker 3: familiar with the requests. Is that right that repeatedly the
- 6:48Speaker 3: Trump detail asked for more resources and repeatedly Secret Service
- 6:52Speaker 3: leadership turned that down.
- 6:54Speaker 5: That is not accurate, Senator, assets are requested. There's a
- 6:58Speaker 5: process that has made.
- 7:01Speaker 3: How many requests did the Trump team or the Trump.
- 7:03Speaker 4: Detail ask for? I can get you that number in
- 7:06Speaker 4: a Q.
- 7:07Speaker 5: You don't You don't know now, so I can speak
- 7:09Speaker 5: to the ones that reported in the Washington Post and
- 7:11Speaker 5: we can go through them if you like.
- 7:13Speaker 3: But you don't know how many requests there were in general?
- 7:16Speaker 5: How many requests since twenty twenty one that the former
- 7:19Speaker 5: Trump detail has made a request for asking.
- 7:21Speaker 3: You've had two weeks you had a spokesperson put something
- 7:23Speaker 3: out that is false on its face. By the way,
- 7:26Speaker 3: did you approve the statement when it went out?
- 7:29Speaker 4: I don't know if I did or didn't. Say.
- 7:30Speaker 3: Has this spokesperson is he still employed?
- 7:32Speaker 4: Does he still have still employed? Center?
- 7:34Speaker 3: So he lied on behalf of the Secret Service? He
- 7:36Speaker 3: still has a job. Did your predecessor, the former director,
- 7:39Speaker 3: does she approve the statement?
- 7:41Speaker 4: Senator?
- 7:42Speaker 5: Our comms team they send out statements, they do deconflict them,
- 7:47Speaker 5: and they put them out.
- 7:48Speaker 4: Did she approve this statement?
- 7:51Speaker 3: I don't know if she did or did not. And
- 7:52Speaker 3: you don't know if you did either.
- 7:54Speaker 4: I don't recall approving it. Senator.
- 7:57Speaker 3: Will you commit to provide this committee and write every
- 8:01Speaker 3: written request for additional resources from the Trump campaign or
- 8:05Speaker 3: the Trump Detail and every response from Secret Service?
- 8:09Speaker 5: Senator, I will commit to providing responses and getting you
- 8:12Speaker 5: the information that you're seeking.
- 8:16Speaker 6: Me.
- 8:17Speaker 3: Ask you something, and who makes the decision to deny
- 8:20Speaker 3: those requests?
- 8:21Speaker 4: Did you make that decision?
- 8:23Speaker 5: Which requests are you telling about the ones that want
- 8:25Speaker 5: us in the post?
- 8:26Speaker 4: Yes?
- 8:27Speaker 5: The processor is that a detail will make a request
- 8:31Speaker 5: for either staffing, technical assets that is handled between the
- 8:36Speaker 5: field office and the detail. It goes up to a
- 8:38Speaker 5: logistics office between our.
- 8:41Speaker 3: Okay, so there's a bureaucracy. Is there a decision maker?
- 8:44Speaker 4: It's not a bureaucracy, Senator. That's a person that's a
- 8:46Speaker 4: decision maker.
- 8:47Speaker 5: Is there one, Senator, it's a conversation.
- 8:51Speaker 4: It's not just an absolute yet. So let me tell
- 8:53Speaker 4: you what I believe.
- 8:54Speaker 3: I believe that the Secret Service leadership made a political
- 8:58Speaker 3: decision to deny these quests, and I think the Biden
- 9:02Speaker 3: administration has been suffused with partisan politics. Did the same
- 9:06Speaker 3: person who denied the request for additional security to President
- 9:09Speaker 3: Trump also repeatedly deny the request for security to Robert F.
- 9:13Speaker 3: Kennedy Junior, whose father was murdered by an assassin and
- 9:16Speaker 3: whose uncle was murdered by an assassin? Did the same
- 9:19Speaker 3: person make that decision?
- 9:21Speaker 4: Senator?
- 9:21Speaker 5: What I will tell you is that Secret Service agents
- 9:24Speaker 5: are not political.
- 9:25Speaker 3: Okay, you're not answering you know what. Leadership by the president,
- 9:29Speaker 3: leadership appointed by the president is political. I have a
- 9:32Speaker 3: simple question, yes or no. Did the same person deny
- 9:37Speaker 3: the Trump requests that also denied the RFK request.
- 9:40Speaker 4: That's a yes or no question. Senator. That is not
- 9:44Speaker 4: a yes or no question one.
- 9:46Speaker 5: There is a process for a candidate nominee to receive protection.
- 9:49Speaker 4: Is there a by Cameron? Does the bike stop budy
- 9:53Speaker 4: artisan process?
- 9:54Speaker 3: That they all say by cameral bipartisan process?
- 9:57Speaker 4: What can candidate not a chack? Do you have a Cameron?
- 10:01Speaker 5: Mister Kennedy submitted a request that was referred over to
- 10:04Speaker 5: the Sea pack.
- 10:05Speaker 3: Okay, you're refusing to answer the question. Let me ask
- 10:08Speaker 3: because because the failures on that day were catastrophic. By
- 10:10Speaker 3: the way, is it true that on the day of
- 10:13Speaker 3: the of the Butler event that Secret Service transferred agent
- 10:16Speaker 3: from President Trump to.
- 10:17Speaker 4: The First Lady. No, sir, that's not true. That's been
- 10:21Speaker 4: widely reported. It's not true.
- 10:23Speaker 5: There was one airport agent that actually went on the
- 10:26Speaker 5: MANPI request for the Trump detail.
- 10:28Speaker 4: They handled the arrival at the airport.
- 10:29Speaker 3: What is the What was the relative size of the
- 10:32Speaker 3: Trump detail compared to the detail that is assigned to
- 10:35Speaker 3: the president of the First Lady?
- 10:38Speaker 5: Senator, the former president travels with a full shift just
- 10:41Speaker 5: like the president.
- 10:42Speaker 3: What's the red so the exact same size? Is that
- 10:44Speaker 3: your testimony that the President Trump had the same size
- 10:47Speaker 3: detail that President Biden has on.
- 10:49Speaker 5: The day of in Butler, the agent surrounding him. It
- 10:52Speaker 5: is the same number of agents surrounding the president today.
- 10:55Speaker 5: There is a difference between a sitting president who also
- 10:58Speaker 5: not only.
- 10:59Speaker 3: All on using president in a way that is not clear.
- 11:02Speaker 3: Is it your testimony that in Butler, Pennsylvania, Donald Trump
- 11:06Speaker 3: had the same number of agents protecting him that Joe
- 11:09Speaker 3: Biden has at a comparable event.
- 11:12Speaker 5: I'm telling you the shift, the close protection shift surrounded yes,
- 11:16Speaker 5: or you ask me, Senator, I'm trying to answer it.
- 11:18Speaker 3: You are not answering it. Is it the same number
- 11:20Speaker 3: of agents or not?
- 11:22Speaker 5: Senator, there is a difference between the sitting president of
- 11:25Speaker 5: the United States.
- 11:26Speaker 4: And what's the difference?
- 11:27Speaker 5: The difference two x three x five national demand authority
- 11:30Speaker 5: to launch a nuclear strike.
- 11:32Speaker 4: I'm not over assets.
- 11:34Speaker 3: How many more with the president that's a former president.
- 11:37Speaker 4: You're refusing to.
- 11:38Speaker 3: Add a number of Secret Service I'm interrupting him. Stop
- 11:42Speaker 3: interrupting me, go ahead, refusing to answer clear and direct questions.
- 11:47Speaker 3: I am asking the relative difference in the number of
- 11:50Speaker 3: agents between those assigned to Donald Trump and those assigned
- 11:54Speaker 3: to Joe Biden. I'm not asking why you assign more
- 11:57Speaker 3: to Joe Biden. I'm asking is the difference? Is it
- 11:59Speaker 3: two X?
- 12:00Speaker 4: Is it three X? Is it five X? Is it
- 12:02Speaker 4: ten X?
- 12:04Speaker 5: Senator I will get you that number so you can
- 12:06Speaker 5: see it with your own eyes.
- 12:08Speaker 2: Senator number one, let's start at the end. He says,
- 12:12Speaker 2: he will get you those numbers. This is not a
- 12:15Speaker 2: hard question. You asked about the difference in the details,
- 12:18Speaker 2: and yet he clearly didn't want to answer that question.
- 12:22Speaker 2: Is that because we're going to be so shocked by
- 12:24Speaker 2: what that answer is?
- 12:26Speaker 3: So listening He engaged in a very deliberate effort at deception.
- 12:33Speaker 3: He said, the close protective detail is identical. Now understand
- 12:38Speaker 3: a secret service detail that is protecting someone. You have
- 12:42Speaker 3: the close protective detail, which are the agents that actually surround.
- 12:46Speaker 4: The protect tea.
- 12:47Speaker 3: You also have typically a perimeter that is often at
- 12:52Speaker 3: three levels, the close protection, a second perimeter level that's
- 12:56Speaker 3: often where you see magnetometers, that's often when you see
- 12:59Speaker 3: people execs, and then you have the furthest out perimeter.
- 13:03Speaker 3: What he did not want to answer is how many
- 13:08Speaker 3: agents we're protecting Donald Trump? How many agents typically protect
- 13:13Speaker 3: Joe Biden? And by the way, how many agents protect
- 13:16Speaker 3: the first lady, Jill Biden. Now I can tell you
- 13:19Speaker 3: following up this cross examination, we have what are called
- 13:23Speaker 3: QFRS questions.
- 13:25Speaker 4: For the record.
- 13:26Speaker 3: So I am submitting written questions. I am asking the
- 13:31Speaker 3: Acting Director of the Secret Service number one, how many
- 13:34Speaker 3: agents were assigned to Donald Trump? Number two, how many
- 13:37Speaker 3: are typically assigned to Joe Biden? Number three, how many
- 13:39Speaker 3: are typically assigned the first lady. Now, to be clear,
- 13:42Speaker 3: and this is where, listen, there's some strategy in terms
- 13:46Speaker 3: of how you approach across examination like this in public hearing.
- 13:50Speaker 3: I did not ask him this in a public hearing
- 13:52Speaker 3: why because he would refuse to answer. What he would
- 13:55Speaker 3: say is I'm not going to disclose to you how
- 13:59Speaker 3: many agents are as signed to Donald Trump because that
- 14:02Speaker 3: would endanger the security of the protective detail, and that
- 14:05Speaker 3: that's a reasonable response. It's why I didn't ask the question.
- 14:09Speaker 3: Because there's there's something that is known as law enforcement confidential.
- 14:13Speaker 3: So when I ask him a question for the record, listen,
- 14:17Speaker 3: I have TSSCI clearance. I have the top level of
- 14:20Speaker 3: security clearance there exists in the government. I want to
- 14:25Speaker 3: know the exact number how many friggin agents were assigned
- 14:28Speaker 3: to Trump? How many were assigned to the first lady.
- 14:31Speaker 3: How many were assigned to the president. I'm not going
- 14:34Speaker 3: to reveal those numbers, so when I get them, I'm
- 14:36Speaker 3: assuming he will tell me. If he tells me their
- 14:39Speaker 3: law enforcement confidential. I'm not going to repeat them on
- 14:42Speaker 3: this podcast. But what I am going to repeat is
- 14:45Speaker 3: what I asked him that he refused to answer. What
- 14:48Speaker 3: is the relative difference? I understand, Joe Biden, the sitting
- 14:52Speaker 3: president's detail is larger than Trump's, but by what margin?
- 14:59Speaker 4: Is it double? Is it triple? Is it five X?
- 15:02Speaker 4: Is it ten x?
- 15:04Speaker 3: He did not want to answer that question. The American
- 15:07Speaker 3: people are entitled to know that question.
- 15:09Speaker 2: Let's also go back to some other questions that were
- 15:14Speaker 2: asked of him, and I think these are important. One
- 15:16Speaker 2: of them came from one of your good friends and colleagues,
- 15:19Speaker 2: Mike Lee.
- 15:20Speaker 1: A very simple question. Take a listen.
- 15:23Speaker 5: No information regarding a weapon on the roof was ever
- 15:26Speaker 5: passed to our personnel.
- 15:29Speaker 4: How is that even possible? Do you want to comment
- 15:33Speaker 4: to that senator again?
- 15:35Speaker 5: I believe that information and this is probably something my
- 15:39Speaker 5: colleague can expound on. Information that was in law enforcement
- 15:44Speaker 5: local law enforcement channels but did not cross over and
- 15:47Speaker 5: make it to Secret Service awareness.
- 15:49Speaker 2: I mean, that might be one of the worst answers
- 15:51Speaker 2: I've ever heard. Center and the fact that he's confirming
- 15:55Speaker 2: what we were terrified of, which is no information regarding
- 15:59Speaker 2: a way up on the roof for the shooter on
- 16:01Speaker 2: the roof was ever passed to our personnel. Now, when
- 16:05Speaker 2: he refers to our personnel, he's clearly referring to those
- 16:09Speaker 2: in the Secret Service or the Secret Service Sniper Team.
- 16:12Speaker 2: And Mike Lee's response is spot on right. How is
- 16:16Speaker 2: that even possible?
- 16:18Speaker 3: Yeah, Look, this was, as I said, a catastrophic security
- 16:23Speaker 3: failure by the leadership of the Secret Service. They are
- 16:27Speaker 3: not taking responsibility for that failure. Now, I got to
- 16:30Speaker 3: tell you, the way this hearing was set up, we
- 16:33Speaker 3: had five minute rounds. It is difficult to walk through
- 16:36Speaker 3: the details of what you need to get through in
- 16:38Speaker 3: five minutes. I ended up taking about seven, which meant
- 16:41Speaker 3: I went about two minutes over and that's always leary.
- 16:44Speaker 3: But let me tell you some of the other questions
- 16:46Speaker 3: that I had that I was prepared to ask, but
- 16:49Speaker 3: because the acting director of the Secret Service was filibustering
- 16:52Speaker 3: to some extent, he was interrupting me to some extent.
- 16:55Speaker 3: He was belligerent to a significant extent. I didn't get
- 16:59Speaker 3: to them, but they are a whole series of questions
- 17:01Speaker 3: that need to be answers. And by the way, I'm
- 17:04Speaker 3: asking every one of these questions in writing. So in
- 17:08Speaker 3: a follow up to hearing, you ask written questions Number one,
- 17:12Speaker 3: the shooter when he came into the rally site in Butler, Pennsylvania,
- 17:18Speaker 3: he was stopped by Secret Service at the metal detectors.
- 17:22Speaker 3: He had a rangefinder with him. That was at three pm.
- 17:27Speaker 3: Why did Secret Service not detain him? Why did they
- 17:31Speaker 3: not question him about the ragefinder? Now, the acting director
- 17:36Speaker 3: of the Secret Service, he said, well, it was a
- 17:38Speaker 3: recreational rangefinder. It was like a golf rangefinder that you
- 17:42Speaker 3: used to look the distance of the pen. Now you're
- 17:44Speaker 3: right now, you're with your son at the World Championship.
- 17:48Speaker 3: You probably have a golf rangefinder. Yes, you know what.
- 17:52Speaker 3: You know what in Butler, Pennsylvania, they weren't playing golf.
- 17:57Speaker 3: They weren't trying to figure out where the was. There
- 18:01Speaker 3: is no benign or innocious explanation for why someone shows
- 18:05Speaker 3: up at a political rally with a rangefinder. So that's
- 18:09Speaker 3: question number one. Why didn't you detain him. Why didn't
- 18:11Speaker 3: you question him? Why don't you say why the hell
- 18:13Speaker 3: do you have this rangefinder? They didn't after that, Two
- 18:17Speaker 3: and a half hours later, at about five point thirty,
- 18:20Speaker 3: the shooter was seen. And by the way, let me
- 18:22Speaker 3: make it aside, you will notice on this podcast, I
- 18:25Speaker 3: will never ever ever say the name of the shooter.
- 18:28Speaker 3: I think people that commit heinous acts like this are
- 18:32Speaker 3: evil bastards who deserve to be forgotten by history. So
- 18:35Speaker 3: I will never I'll call him the shooter, but I
- 18:38Speaker 3: will not repeat his name. But the shooter at about
- 18:41Speaker 3: five thirty was observed using the rangefinder to measure the
- 18:47Speaker 3: distance from where he was to the podium where Donald
- 18:50Speaker 3: Trump was. The next obvious question why did the was
- 18:57Speaker 3: the shooter not detained? Then?
- 19:00Speaker 4: Question?
- 19:00Speaker 3: Then he was observed by law enforcement scoping out the distance.
- 19:04Speaker 3: That is obvious and highly suspicious activity. Third question, why
- 19:10Speaker 3: were there not more agents? We had repeated requests over
- 19:14Speaker 3: and over and over again from the Trump team. We
- 19:16Speaker 3: need more agents, We need more agents. Why were there
- 19:18Speaker 3: not more agents in the outer perimeter? Why there were
- 19:20Speaker 3: there not more agents? On another question, why was there
- 19:24Speaker 3: not a Secret Service agent on that rooftop? It is obvious.
- 19:29Speaker 3: It was about one hundred and forty yards away from
- 19:31Speaker 3: the president. That is a clean line of sight for
- 19:33Speaker 3: a sniper. That is not a difficult shot. Why was
- 19:36Speaker 3: there not a Secret Service agent on that roof to
- 19:40Speaker 3: ensure that nobody else was there?
- 19:42Speaker 4: He did not answer that question either.
- 19:44Speaker 1: Why let me ask you this question.
- 19:46Speaker 2: Let me ask you this question on that because there's
- 19:48Speaker 2: a lot of people that ask me this, and I
- 19:50Speaker 2: want you to.
- 19:51Speaker 1: Answer your perspective.
- 19:53Speaker 2: If they didn't have a team, right, There's been arguments
- 19:56Speaker 2: when maybe they didn't have a team to cover that roof,
- 19:58Speaker 2: and so it was lack of resources.
- 20:01Speaker 3: Assign the damn agents. There are four thousand Secret Service
- 20:06Speaker 3: agents assign the agents. So one of the fundamental problems
- 20:11Speaker 3: is the Secret Service.
- 20:12Speaker 4: I believe.
- 20:12Speaker 3: I haven't had this confirmed, but here's what I believe
- 20:14Speaker 3: was happening. They were treating Donald Trump as a former president. Now, listen,
- 20:19Speaker 3: former presidents have Secret Service protection for life. So Jimmy
- 20:24Speaker 3: Carter right now, who is almost one hundred years old,
- 20:29Speaker 3: Jimmy Carter has a Secret Service detail now, to be honest,
- 20:33Speaker 3: that's right, that's good. But the threats against Jimmy Carter
- 20:37Speaker 3: at this point in his life are very low. There
- 20:40Speaker 3: are just not a lot of acting Trump. There are
- 20:44Speaker 3: not a lot of active murderers seeking to kill Jimmy
- 20:47Speaker 3: Carter at the very end of his natural life. We know,
- 20:51Speaker 3: by the way, the nation of Iran has hired assassins
- 20:56Speaker 3: to murder Trump. So you don't just have crazy ass
- 21:00Speaker 3: lunatics who want to shoot him. You literally have a
- 21:02Speaker 3: nation state with billions of dollars to fund assassins to
- 21:06Speaker 3: murder him. And what I believe the Secret Service here's
- 21:09Speaker 3: what I think happened. The Biden administration is political in
- 21:13Speaker 3: every decision it makes. I think they didn't want to
- 21:18Speaker 3: up Trump's security detail because if they did so, they
- 21:23Speaker 3: would have to acknowledge his legitimacy. Listen, Trump is not
- 21:27Speaker 3: just a former president who's retired and is off like
- 21:31Speaker 3: painting paintings and building houses for habitat for humanity. He
- 21:35Speaker 3: is the Republican nominee to be president right now. He
- 21:38Speaker 3: is I think likely the next president of the United States.
- 21:42Speaker 3: And the Biden administration, I believe this was all politics.
- 21:46Speaker 3: The leadership of the Secret Service did not want to
- 21:49Speaker 3: up his detail because it would be according credibility and
- 21:53Speaker 3: seriousness to his campaign. It is I believe the identical
- 21:58Speaker 3: reason they refuse repeatedly to give a Secret Service detailed
- 22:04Speaker 3: Robert F. Kennedy Junior now listen, you and I on
- 22:06Speaker 3: this podcast months ago called them out and said it
- 22:10Speaker 3: is outrageous.
- 22:11Speaker 4: Robert F.
- 22:11Speaker 3: Kennedy Junior, his father RFK Senior was murdered when he
- 22:20Speaker 3: was running for president of the United States. His uncle
- 22:22Speaker 3: JFK was murdered as the sitting president of the United States.
- 22:28Speaker 3: RFK Junior has had multiple death threats, He has had
- 22:32Speaker 3: multiple attempts on his life. And I believe the reason
- 22:35Speaker 3: that the Biden administration didn't give him a Secret Service
- 22:38Speaker 3: protection is they hate the fact that another Democrat is
- 22:42Speaker 3: running against what was then Joe Biden now Kamala Harris,
- 22:45Speaker 3: and if they gave Secret Services protection to him, it
- 22:48Speaker 3: would be acknowledging he was legitimate. That is if that
- 22:51Speaker 3: is the basis, It is a purely political decision. It
- 22:56Speaker 3: is indefensible and we need to get answers on it.
- 23:00Speaker 1: Yeah, great point. I want to talk to you about
- 23:02Speaker 1: AMO Squared.
- 23:04Speaker 2: They are a company that help you stay stocked up
- 23:06Speaker 2: on ammunition automatically. So many of you guys have already
- 23:11Speaker 2: started to use AMOS squared because you realize how valuable
- 23:14Speaker 2: what they provide is. It is a truly automated, set
- 23:18Speaker 2: it and forget it AMMO purchasing program. You pick your calibers,
- 23:22Speaker 2: you set your budget, you select a shipping trigger, and
- 23:25Speaker 2: that's it. Your AMMO grows slowly over time, is stored
- 23:29Speaker 2: for free as it builds up, and is shipped with
- 23:32Speaker 2: a click of a button or automatically whatever you want
- 23:36Speaker 2: to do. It's like an ammunition subscription on steroids because
- 23:39Speaker 2: you aren't forced into a set budget or a shipment
- 23:42Speaker 2: every month. Instead, you decide your budget and you can
- 23:45Speaker 2: change that budget, and you can schedule when you want
- 23:48Speaker 2: your AMMO shipments to arrive. AMMO Squared offers more than
- 23:51Speaker 2: sixty different caliber options and you can easily trade them out.
- 23:55Speaker 2: Maybe you have one caliber you're using and then you switch.
- 23:58Speaker 2: You're like, what am I gonna do with alls?
- 23:59Speaker 1: Amo? Not a problem with Amo squared.
- 24:02Speaker 2: Each shipment contains a carefully curated mix of factory new
- 24:06Speaker 2: ammunition from brands that you know and love. It's budget friendly, customizable,
- 24:11Speaker 2: and literally you can buy as little as a few
- 24:13Speaker 2: dollars a month and use dollar cost savings to your
- 24:16Speaker 2: advantage over time. Now, if Ammo prices skyrocket like we
- 24:20Speaker 2: saw during COVID, or Ammo and a certain caliber just
- 24:23Speaker 2: disappears from the shelves for months on end, you don't
- 24:26Speaker 2: have to worry because if you've already got them with
- 24:28Speaker 2: Amo squared, it's yours and you can either take shipment
- 24:31Speaker 2: of it or you can sell it back and make
- 24:35Speaker 2: big profits. So check out AMO square. Like I said,
- 24:38Speaker 2: there's no minimum to buy, no memberships needed, no extra fees.
- 24:44Speaker 2: Customers can buy Ammo on a small budget and you
- 24:46Speaker 2: just watch it grow like a savings account. Now, I
- 24:48Speaker 2: want to get you some free Ammo. I just said that.
- 24:50Speaker 2: I'm not kidding. I want to get you some free Ammo.
- 24:53Speaker 2: Go to amosquared dot com slash ben that's AMO squared
- 25:00Speaker 2: dot com slash ben today to get free Ammo in
- 25:03Speaker 2: your account. Amosquare dot com slash ben and get free
- 25:07Speaker 2: Amo in your account today. Senator, I want to ask
- 25:09Speaker 2: you another couple quick questions about this because there's so
- 25:12Speaker 2: much that came out in this hearing. One of them
- 25:15Speaker 2: you mentioned a moment ago was about Iran and I
- 25:19Speaker 2: want to play this because I do think it just
- 25:21Speaker 2: shows how shocking how unprepared the Secret Service was, not
- 25:27Speaker 2: just at this event, but maybe at many other events
- 25:30Speaker 2: that were supposed to be protecting Donald Trump.
- 25:32Speaker 7: What is the nature of the Iran threat? The threat
- 25:37Speaker 7: to former President Trump? That has been mentioned, but we
- 25:41Speaker 7: know that.
- 25:43Speaker 4: Let me be clear here.
- 25:44Speaker 6: The terrorist regime of Iran have been targeting people our
- 25:50Speaker 6: country for many, many years now. We've talked about that
- 25:53Speaker 6: here before. I want to be clear about that from
- 25:55Speaker 6: the FBI stamp. Have we know publicly they've put they've
- 26:00Speaker 6: targeted former President Trump, They've called for his assassination.
- 26:06Speaker 2: I mean that they know this, and they say they've
- 26:08Speaker 2: been doing this for years, and yet you let this
- 26:10Speaker 2: building just sit unattended. And I go back to the
- 26:14Speaker 2: question I asked you earlier, because it's a question many
- 26:16Speaker 2: have asked if was just say hypothetical center, they didn't
- 26:20Speaker 2: have the manpower hypothetical for the Secret Service.
- 26:22Speaker 1: And I have the manpower, get it.
- 26:24Speaker 2: Why wouldn't they have used those that were on the
- 26:27Speaker 2: ground there locally, the SWAT teams that were there locally
- 26:30Speaker 2: to cover that roof.
- 26:31Speaker 3: Well and to some extent, so the Secret Service was
- 26:34Speaker 3: trying to pass the blame to local law enforcement. They
- 26:36Speaker 3: were saying, well, local law enforcement screwed up. And so
- 26:40Speaker 3: they said at one point that there were local swat
- 26:43Speaker 3: teams that were supposed to be monitoring that roof, and
- 26:46Speaker 3: there's been testimony that there was a local swat team
- 26:48Speaker 3: there and then they disappeared. Now they won't tell us
- 26:50Speaker 3: who it was. They won't tell us who made the
- 26:52Speaker 3: decision to leave that post. There has been media reports
- 26:57Speaker 3: that there was someone assigned to be on that roof
- 26:59Speaker 3: but it was too hot, so they left. We need
- 27:01Speaker 3: to know the answer to that that that is. They're
- 27:03Speaker 3: they're they're not. But what's what the Secret Service is
- 27:06Speaker 3: trying to do is pass the buck to local law enforcement,
- 27:08Speaker 3: say local law enforcement screwed up. But I'll tell you
- 27:11Speaker 3: a couple other questions that I was going to ask
- 27:13Speaker 3: and that I that I am asking and writing. So
- 27:18Speaker 3: we know and we've seen the videos. In fact, we
- 27:20Speaker 3: played this on this podcast at the time. There were
- 27:24Speaker 3: multiple spectators who were outside the perimeter who saw the
- 27:27Speaker 3: shooter on the roof. They saw the shooter on the
- 27:30Speaker 3: roof with a gun with a rifle, and they began
- 27:33Speaker 3: screaming and yelling and saying there's a man on the roof,
- 27:35Speaker 3: a man on the roof of the gun. They began
- 27:38Speaker 3: doing that one minute and fifty seven seconds before the
- 27:42Speaker 3: shooting began. That's a lot of time. They told local
- 27:47Speaker 3: law enforcement. It was a sign in that outer perimeter
- 27:50Speaker 3: there's a man on the roof with a gun. Now,
- 27:53Speaker 3: one of the enormous problems is there was apparently zero
- 27:59Speaker 3: coordination communication between local law enforcement and Secret Service. So
- 28:05Speaker 3: a natural question a minute in fifty seven seconds before
- 28:08Speaker 3: the shooting began, spectators observe a man on the roof
- 28:12Speaker 3: of a gun, why do the local police officers who
- 28:16Speaker 3: were there not immediately radio Secret Service and say there's
- 28:20Speaker 3: a shooter. Pull President Trump down. That's what you do
- 28:26Speaker 3: in that circumstance, is you pull them down. If you
- 28:29Speaker 3: have the protect tee and you know that there's a
- 28:31Speaker 3: potential sniper and it's a dangerous situation, you go up,
- 28:34Speaker 3: you pull them down, say miss President, you need to
- 28:36Speaker 3: come down for a second, and you just pull them
- 28:37Speaker 3: out of the harm's way and then you go and
- 28:40Speaker 3: deal with the law enforcement threat. Why did they not
- 28:42Speaker 3: do that for a minute and fifty seven second and
- 28:44Speaker 3: what appears to be the answer, but the acting director
- 28:47Speaker 3: would not answer. It is there was no interoperability. There
- 28:51Speaker 3: was no communication between local law enforcement and the Secret Service.
- 28:56Speaker 3: Now it gets even worse. A local police officer climbed
- 29:00Speaker 3: up on the shoulders of another local police officer climbed
- 29:03Speaker 3: up to the roof. So when the people are yelling, hey,
- 29:05Speaker 3: there's a guy with a gun, he climbed up to
- 29:08Speaker 3: see it.
- 29:09Speaker 4: He climbs up.
- 29:09Speaker 3: To the roof, He pulls his head up, and the
- 29:12Speaker 3: shooter turns and points his rifle at the officer's head. Now,
- 29:17Speaker 3: the officer ducks because he doesn't want to get shot
- 29:20Speaker 3: in the head. And the testimony was he fell about
- 29:24Speaker 3: eight feet to the ground. That happened twenty four seconds
- 29:30Speaker 3: before the first shot was fired. Now, in any ordinary
- 29:36Speaker 3: insane situation, the officer as he sees the rifle, as
- 29:39Speaker 3: he sees the man on the roof, so he knows.
- 29:41Speaker 3: You have a police officer that knows there's a shooter
- 29:44Speaker 3: with a rifle on the roof. While the president is talking,
- 29:47Speaker 3: here's what should happen. The officer, as he's ducking down,
- 29:52Speaker 3: he pulls out his radio and he says, gun, gun, gun, shooter, shooter, shooter,
- 29:59Speaker 3: And if the Seat Service here is that they have
- 30:01Speaker 3: twenty four seconds for the detail to run up to
- 30:05Speaker 3: grab the president, to pull him down under the podium.
- 30:07Speaker 3: And by the way, they also have two counter snipers.
- 30:11Speaker 3: If they get over the radio gun gun gun shooter,
- 30:13Speaker 3: shooter shooter, you've got twenty four seconds for the counter
- 30:16Speaker 3: snipers to see the sniper, see the shooter, and take
- 30:20Speaker 3: him out. If that happens, President Trump is not shot.
- 30:25Speaker 3: Fire Chief Corey Comparatory is not murdered. The two other
- 30:31Speaker 3: people who were severely injured or not injured, And what
- 30:35Speaker 3: appears to be the case, although the acting director of
- 30:39Speaker 3: the Secret Service would not confirm this, is there was
- 30:42Speaker 3: no radio interoperability. In other words, what the local police
- 30:46Speaker 3: officer saw he could not communicate with Secret Service, and
- 30:51Speaker 3: that is utterly unacceptable and what is infuriating. There was
- 30:56Speaker 3: nothing in the hearing yesterday that suggested they've changed what
- 31:00Speaker 3: they've done. So if they're relying on local law enforcement
- 31:04Speaker 3: for important security and yet they have no way to
- 31:07Speaker 3: communicate with local law enforcement about what they're seeing, it
- 31:12Speaker 3: is fundamentally ineffective. And the most important question is what
- 31:16Speaker 3: are they doing to prevent this from happening again? And
- 31:22Speaker 3: there was zero answer to that question in the hearing.
- 31:25Speaker 2: Yesterday, final question on this And somebody sent this to
- 31:30Speaker 2: me earlier today, and I'm just going to read it
- 31:31Speaker 2: the way it was sent to me. It says, quote,
- 31:33Speaker 2: it's sad that we live in a country now. We're
- 31:36Speaker 2: a hard working, regular guy who goes to work from
- 31:41Speaker 2: seven in the morning till nine o'clock at night or
- 31:44Speaker 2: eight o'clock put in fifty sixty hour week, will quote
- 31:47Speaker 2: face more professional consequences for sharing an offensive joke online.
- 31:54Speaker 1: Then the unoected.
- 31:54Speaker 2: Bureaucrats task with protecting our president will face for almost
- 31:59Speaker 2: getting the leading candidate killed. Now, according to the acting
- 32:04Speaker 2: Secret Service director, he admitted to you guys yesterday that
- 32:07Speaker 2: no agent assigned to the Trump July thirteenth rally has
- 32:12Speaker 2: been fired. And in fact there's only the secret the
- 32:16Speaker 2: head of the Secret Service that was forced to resign
- 32:18Speaker 2: after a horrible display on Capitol Hill. But it doesn't
- 32:21Speaker 2: seem like there's been any other accountability. And that's sad,
- 32:24Speaker 2: isn't it.
- 32:26Speaker 3: It's infuriating. So, as best I can tell, in almost
- 32:30Speaker 3: four years of Joe Biden, Kamala Harris being in the
- 32:32Speaker 3: White House, not a single person has been fired from
- 32:37Speaker 3: any job whatsoever. You have the disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal. It
- 32:41Speaker 3: was an absolute debacle that was embarrassing. It undermined the
- 32:45Speaker 3: US military. It led to the deaths of thirteen servicemen
- 32:48Speaker 3: and women. Nobody was fired. There was no accountability. You
- 32:52Speaker 3: have here the first shooting of a presidential candidate, a
- 32:59Speaker 3: former president since nineteen eighty one, since Ronald Reagan. Nobody
- 33:04Speaker 3: was fired. In any sane world, the director of the
- 33:07Speaker 3: Secret Service would have resigned that day. In any sane world,
- 33:10Speaker 3: the president would have fired the director of the Secret Service.
- 33:13Speaker 3: But there's no accountability. Now you now have the acting director.
- 33:16Speaker 3: And one question you asked me at the beginning of
- 33:18Speaker 3: this pod, should the acting director be fired? And I'm
- 33:22Speaker 3: going to say, I don't know. I think the proof
- 33:26Speaker 3: is in the pudding. So on one level, the acting director,
- 33:31Speaker 3: whom I don't know personally, but he's been a longtime
- 33:35Speaker 3: career Secret Service agent and officer, his answers demonstrated massively
- 33:42Speaker 3: more candor than the old director. The old director was
- 33:47Speaker 3: handpicked by Joe Biden, and Joe Biden I believe the
- 33:50Speaker 3: old director was there. She used to be on Joe
- 33:54Speaker 3: Biden's Secret Service detail when he was vice president. I
- 33:56Speaker 3: think they handpicked her because they wanted the Secret Service
- 34:00Speaker 3: to cover up Joe Biden's massive mental decline, and so
- 34:05Speaker 3: they put her in that place as a political decision
- 34:08Speaker 3: to protect his political vulnerabilities. That's what I believe. But
- 34:12Speaker 3: she was and we talked about this in a prior podcast.
- 34:15Speaker 3: When she did on All Senators briefing, she stonewalled she
- 34:19Speaker 3: would not answer any questions. She said they did everything
- 34:21Speaker 3: perfectly except for the fact that the president was shot
- 34:25Speaker 3: and by the way, to be clear, had the bullet
- 34:29Speaker 3: been a half inch to the left, Donald Trump would
- 34:33Speaker 3: be dead today. She described this as a success for
- 34:37Speaker 3: the Secret Service. It's not a success. It is I
- 34:42Speaker 3: think God's providence. I believe God turned Trump's head. But
- 34:47Speaker 3: we came within a half inch of the history of
- 34:50Speaker 3: the world being changed that day. So compared to the
- 34:55Speaker 3: former director, the acting director is at least admitting they
- 35:00Speaker 3: screwed it up, they did something wrong. He has some
- 35:03Speaker 3: modicum of candor. Here's my answer in terms of whether
- 35:05Speaker 3: he should be fired. How does he answer the questions
- 35:10Speaker 3: for the record that I and other senators ask him.
- 35:13Speaker 3: I believe the Secret Service needs radical transparency. Among the
- 35:18Speaker 3: questions I'm asking also is how many threats are directed
- 35:21Speaker 3: right now in the last year against Donald Trump? How
- 35:24Speaker 3: many threats are directed against Joe Biden? How many threat
- 35:26Speaker 3: threats are directed against the First Lady? And had to
- 35:28Speaker 3: be clear, all three need to be protected. I'm not
- 35:31Speaker 3: saying that Joe or Joe Biden should not be protected.
- 35:34Speaker 3: But one of the public press reports is on the
- 35:37Speaker 3: day of the Butler rally, they pulled members of Trump's
- 35:40Speaker 3: security detail and put them on the First Lady's detail.
- 35:43Speaker 3: Now I don't know this, but Secret Service does. But
- 35:48Speaker 3: I'm going to venture a guess that the number of
- 35:50Speaker 3: threats against Trump versus against the First Lady, it is
- 35:57Speaker 3: at least one hundred cks, And it wouldn't surprise me
- 36:01Speaker 3: if it is a thousand x that I think Donald
- 36:04Speaker 3: Trump is the most threatened person on the face of
- 36:07Speaker 3: the planet. And if it is the case, it is
- 36:10Speaker 3: all the more indefensible that the Secret Service political leadership
- 36:15Speaker 3: would not provide sufficient agents to keep him safe. And
- 36:19Speaker 3: I'm asking them how many threats against Trump, how many
- 36:22Speaker 3: threats against Joe Biden? How many threats against Joe Biden
- 36:25Speaker 3: will see if they answer that, you know, based on
- 36:28Speaker 3: the testimony, I'm skeptical that they will.
- 36:31Speaker 2: As many of you know, I am a huge advocate
- 36:34Speaker 2: for a god given Secondmendment rights, and without carrying a firearm,
- 36:38Speaker 2: I would not be here today. I had to use
- 36:40Speaker 2: my gun to protect and defend my life in an
- 36:43Speaker 2: actual shooting, and it is something for me that I
- 36:46Speaker 2: say all the time to people. Make sure you can
- 36:49Speaker 2: protect and defend yourself. I want to tell you about
- 36:53Speaker 2: in Arms. My good friend Gordon Bond has a thirty
- 36:56Speaker 2: year old Texas based company.
- 36:58Speaker 1: It's called Bond Arms.
- 36:59Speaker 2: Arms makes the smallest, most powerful, best built personal protection.

- 38:04Speaker 2: I want to move to some of this breaking news,
- 38:07Speaker 2: and it is an important moment that's happening in the
- 38:10Speaker 2: Middle East right now. Israel is doing everything they can
- 38:14Speaker 2: to protect their people, and they're also having success and
- 38:18Speaker 2: taking out terrorists and terrorist leaders that have been orchestrating
- 38:23Speaker 2: many of these attacks on Israel, including taking out someone
- 38:27Speaker 2: in Iran in Tehran.
- 38:30Speaker 3: Well, that's exactly right, and they're two huge stories in
- 38:34Speaker 3: terms of the war in Israel, the war against Amas
- 38:37Speaker 3: and against Hesbela. One story that broke late this afternoon
- 38:44Speaker 3: and evening is a story that says IDF kills Hesbela
- 38:48Speaker 3: commander behind brutal attack on children's soccer field. And this
- 38:54Speaker 3: is a Fox News story that's being reported everywhere. Fued Shuker,
- 38:59Speaker 3: who's death is unconfirmed by Hesbela, was wanted by US
- 39:03Speaker 3: government connection to the nineteen ninety nineteen eighty three Marine
- 39:07Speaker 3: Barracks bombing in Beirut. And IDF forces on Tuesday announced
- 39:12Speaker 3: the death of Fuad Shukar, the hesbela commander who was
- 39:16Speaker 3: behind the drone strike that killed twelve children and teens
- 39:19Speaker 3: over the weekend. So over the weekend we saw hesbela
- 39:22Speaker 3: fire rocket in northern Israel. It hit a soccer field
- 39:25Speaker 3: and twelve Israeli children were murdered. Continuing back from the
- 39:29Speaker 3: Fox News story, Shukar, who was also known as haj Mohsen,
- 39:36Speaker 3: joined Hesbel in nineteen eighty five. He was also sought
- 39:40Speaker 3: by the US government over his connection to the nineteen
- 39:43Speaker 3: eighty three suicide bombing of the Marine Corps barracks in
- 39:47Speaker 3: Beirut that killed two hundred and forty one US service members.
- 39:51Speaker 3: Shuker served as a senior advisor to Hesbeli leader Hassan
- 39:55Speaker 3: Nasrala at the time of his death in an IDF
- 39:58Speaker 3: strike on Tuesday in southern Bey Route. The IDF confirmed
- 40:03Speaker 3: the news in a press release announcing that it's fighter
- 40:06Speaker 3: jets eliminated hesbela terrorist organization's most senior military commanders. Shooker
- 40:14Speaker 3: in Lebanon's capital city, now understand this is a murderer
- 40:20Speaker 3: responsible for murdering two hundred and forty one US service members.
- 40:25Speaker 3: This is a reason to celebrate. Listen, the enemies of
- 40:29Speaker 3: Israel are the enemies of America, the enemies of Jews.
- 40:33Speaker 3: Those who want to kill Jews want to kill Christians.
- 40:38Speaker 3: Hamas and Hesbela they hate Israel, but they hate America too.
- 40:42Speaker 3: And this is an example where Israel fighting the war,
- 40:46Speaker 3: fighting the war against Hamas and hesbel at the same
- 40:48Speaker 3: time is defeating someone who has murdered hundreds of Americans.
- 40:54Speaker 3: That is an enormous victory for this country. And then
- 40:57Speaker 3: let me say secondly, so you and I are recording
- 41:00Speaker 3: this podcast, it is eleven forty pm. At eleven forty pm,
- 41:05Speaker 3: this news has just broken.
- 41:06Speaker 4: So listen.
- 41:07Speaker 3: Any time you're dealing with matters of life and death
- 41:10Speaker 3: and war in peace, the news can move. So what
- 41:14Speaker 3: we're recording right now, it may be different by six
- 41:18Speaker 3: am tomorrow.
- 41:19Speaker 4: But at eleven forty pm, let me read the AP story.
- 41:22Speaker 3: Iran says Hamas leader Ismail Haniya was assassinated in Tehran.
- 41:29Speaker 3: And let me just read the AP story. Hamas leader
- 41:33Speaker 3: Ismail Haniya was assassinated in Tehran. Iran's peramilitary Revolutionary guards
- 41:39Speaker 3: said early Wednesday, no one immediately claimed responsibility for the assassination,
- 41:44Speaker 3: but suspicion immediately fell on Israel No Duh, which is
- 41:49Speaker 3: vowed to kill Haniya and other leaders of Hamas over
- 41:53Speaker 3: the group's October seventh attack on Israel that killed one
- 41:57Speaker 3: two hundred people and saw some two hundred and fifty
- 41:59Speaker 3: others taken high hostage. Haniya was in Tehran to attend
- 42:04Speaker 3: Iran President Masud Pezeshkians swearing in on Tuesday. Iran gave
- 42:12Speaker 3: no details on how Haniya was killed, and the guards
- 42:15Speaker 3: said the attack was under investigation. Analysts on Iranian state
- 42:19Speaker 3: television immediately began blaming Israel for the attack. Israel did
- 42:24Speaker 3: not immediately comment, but it often doesn't when it comes
- 42:26Speaker 3: to assassinations carried out by their Massad intelligence agency. To
- 42:32Speaker 3: come up within twenty four hours with number one killing
- 42:36Speaker 3: the top military commander of Hesbola, responsible for murdering twelve
- 42:41Speaker 3: Israeli children in northern Israel with a rocket attack and
- 42:44Speaker 3: also responsible for two hundred and forty one American servicemen
- 42:49Speaker 3: and women being killed in Beirut in nineteen eighty three.
- 42:53Speaker 3: That's a big damn deal. And then this taking out
- 42:57Speaker 3: the top leadership of amas it a big, big victory
- 43:02Speaker 3: for Israel and a big, big victory for America.
- 43:04Speaker 1: Yeah, we're gonna keep monitoring this.
