- 1:47Speaker 1: yall comy, come on your things at uh huh, I
- 2:02Speaker 1: sure will a good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice,
- 2:07Speaker 1: Come on dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey
- 2:10Speaker 1: got a radio show to date. Let me share something
- 2:14Speaker 1: with you. I've had to learn this one over and
- 2:17Speaker 1: over and over and over and probably still have to
- 2:21Speaker 1: teach it to myself too. This is a hard one
- 2:24Speaker 1: to get, but it's one of the principles of success.
- 2:28Speaker 1: It's called patience. Patience. Now, I can't tell you how
- 2:35Speaker 1: many times I've gotten myself into a jam or a
- 2:39Speaker 1: situation because I got impatient, because I wanted something to
- 2:45Speaker 1: happen now. So I made a move on my own.
- 2:49Speaker 1: I tried to push something. I wanted the results of
- 2:53Speaker 1: it now, And you know, I kind of think that's
- 2:56Speaker 1: human nature. I think all of us are guilty of
- 2:59Speaker 1: that from time to time. But I was guilty of
- 3:01Speaker 1: it a lot. You know. I just wanted what I
- 3:04Speaker 1: wanted right now, and I did some things to try
- 3:06Speaker 1: to push it forward. Here's the thing that I had
- 3:09Speaker 1: to learn about patients. First of all, success is not
- 3:13Speaker 1: an overnight process. It's a long, daunting task. And I'm
- 3:19Speaker 1: not saying it to sound discouraging to anyone, but I'm
- 3:23Speaker 1: saying it so you can prepare yourself. If you have
- 3:27Speaker 1: any aspirations are becoming successful, get ready for the dog
- 3:32Speaker 1: fight of your life. Get ready for one of the
- 3:38Speaker 1: hardest things you'll ever attempt to do, and that's become successful.
- 3:43Speaker 1: Now that those requirements are becoming successful, it's what stops
- 3:49Speaker 1: most people once they strike out on the road to success,
- 3:53Speaker 1: and they see how difficult it is, how many pitfalls, setbacks, hardships,
- 3:59Speaker 1: how high the mountaineers to climb, how deep them valleys
- 4:03Speaker 1: get sometimes, man, how strong the current is in the
- 4:07Speaker 1: rivers you have to cross, how really icy cold it
- 4:10Speaker 1: can get out there sometimes, And man, Lord, have mercy
- 4:13Speaker 1: how incredibly hot it is out there. Sometimes it's it's
- 4:18Speaker 1: all of it. Becoming successful is all of the things
- 4:23Speaker 1: you could imagine that can happen. It's going to probably happen. Now,
- 4:28Speaker 1: it's how you handle it and how you view it
- 4:32Speaker 1: determines whether you get through it. How you handle it
- 4:36Speaker 1: and how you view it determines how you get through it,
- 4:40Speaker 1: because it's going to happen. And so what you've got
- 4:44Speaker 1: to learn in this process of success is patience. That
- 4:49Speaker 1: is going to be some days when you're trying to
- 4:52Speaker 1: get it right, when you're trying to get it together,
- 4:56Speaker 1: that it's gonna be some setbacks, that it's gonna be
- 4:59Speaker 1: some difficult days and difficult times ahead, that it's going
- 5:02Speaker 1: to be some moments, man, when you just feel like
- 5:05Speaker 1: you don't have enough to go on. You can, you will,
- 5:11Speaker 1: and you have to, but you got to be patient. See,
- 5:16Speaker 1: so many people give up right before the turn can
- 5:20Speaker 1: even happen for you. You've you've heard old people say,
- 5:24Speaker 1: You've heard the saying that it's always darkest before the dawn,
- 5:28Speaker 1: which would simply means, you know, I mean, this is
- 5:31Speaker 1: about as pitch black as it get. Around three thirty
- 5:34Speaker 1: four thirty in the morning. Five it's pitch black because
- 5:40Speaker 1: it's it's it's, it's, it's, it's I don't know. It
- 5:42Speaker 1: just feels that way, don't it. You know, it's it's
- 5:45Speaker 1: darkest before the dawn. Every accomplishment that I've had in
- 5:51Speaker 1: my life, every jump in statue, every award, every increment,
- 6:00Speaker 1: every dollar climbed, every raise, every elevation in my career,
- 6:06Speaker 1: all my life, almost all of them came on the
- 6:11Speaker 1: heels of a setback. Almost all of them came off
- 6:18Speaker 1: of off of a situation that I was working through,
- 6:21Speaker 1: that that that was about to bring me down, that
- 6:24Speaker 1: I didn't see an answer to. Almost all of my successes, awards, rewards,
- 6:31Speaker 1: however you want to look at it came on the
- 6:33Speaker 1: heels of something that could have been devastating or something
- 6:38Speaker 1: perilous for me. I don't know about you, but that's
- 6:41Speaker 1: how it's happened for me. I mean, right when it
- 6:44Speaker 1: looked hopeless, when I didn't see a way, here came
- 6:50Speaker 1: the blessing. I mean, man, I cannot even tell you.
- 6:55Speaker 1: Something tragic was happening in my life when the book
- 6:58Speaker 1: came out, Something traffic trapped art tragic was happening in
- 7:03Speaker 1: my life. When family Field came along, something had gone
- 7:07Speaker 1: incredibly wrong when I started to syndicate a radio show
- 7:11Speaker 1: in two thousand five. I'm telling you, man I and
- 7:15Speaker 1: I I don't know why it is that way, but
- 7:18Speaker 1: that old saying it's always dark as before the dawn
- 7:21Speaker 1: is so true. When I lost something, and I lost
- 7:25Speaker 1: what I thought was everything I had, here comes the
- 7:29Speaker 1: blessing that caused me to have everything I got. I
- 7:34Speaker 1: can't explain it. I don't know why it is, but
- 7:37Speaker 1: it's simply to me it's a test of my faith.
- 7:41Speaker 1: You know, Pete Pablo got a song out on this
- 7:43Speaker 1: album that he came out with back in two thousands,
- 7:47Speaker 1: something called Diary of a Center. I'm not a big
- 7:49Speaker 1: hip hop fan, so I ain't trying to flex that information.
- 7:52Speaker 1: It's just happens to be my favorite hip hop album
- 7:55Speaker 1: I've ever heard. I don't know the name of the song,
- 7:59Speaker 1: but one of the lyrics is um he says, uh uh.
- 8:05Speaker 1: He was talking about being down half a tank of gas,
- 8:11Speaker 1: two cigarettes, scraping up change in an ash tray. But
- 8:17Speaker 1: I realized it was only a test of my faith,
- 8:22Speaker 1: and right when he was about to give up something
- 8:24Speaker 1: jumped off for it. But I see, I've been in
- 8:26Speaker 1: that situation where I've been down to a half a
- 8:29Speaker 1: tank of gas and I was scraping up changeing an
- 8:31Speaker 1: ass track. I think a lot of people can relate
- 8:33Speaker 1: to that. But off the heels of almost all of
- 8:37Speaker 1: mine mishaps and demises came a success story because it
- 8:44Speaker 1: is a test of your faith. It is do you
- 8:48Speaker 1: really want what you say you want? Are you really
- 8:52Speaker 1: determined as you think you are? Are you really gonna
- 8:56Speaker 1: trust in me like you say you trust in me?
- 8:59Speaker 1: Are you going to wait like you say you're gonna wait?
- 9:01Speaker 1: Are you gonna lose your patience and go take matters
- 9:05Speaker 1: into your own hands? Because I can't tell you the
- 9:08Speaker 1: mistakes I've made like that, I've taken matters into my
- 9:11Speaker 1: own hands and had some just messed up everything, just
- 9:16Speaker 1: rushing because I wanted now, so I, you know, sign
- 9:19Speaker 1: a deal here that ain't really that good a deal,
- 9:22Speaker 1: but I'm signing it because I need to make this now.
- 9:25Speaker 1: I need to try to push this to happen, and
- 9:28Speaker 1: and then and then when the big deal was around
- 9:30Speaker 1: the corner, I couldn't cause I was into this little deal,
- 9:32Speaker 1: had I just waited, man, had I just waited and
- 9:36Speaker 1: not not lost patience? What God had for me was
- 9:39Speaker 1: just around the corner. And that's what happens to a
- 9:42Speaker 1: lot of us. I had two women on my show
- 9:44Speaker 1: the other day. We were just sitting on stage just crying, man,
- 9:48Speaker 1: because they had been blindsided. Their husbands came in and
- 9:51Speaker 1: just said I'm leaving. I want a divorce. And they
- 9:54Speaker 1: didn't see it coming. And this one lady was saying, well,
- 9:57Speaker 1: who am I if I'm not his wife? Who am I?
- 10:00Speaker 1: She had a twenty one year old son. Who am
- 10:03Speaker 1: I if I'm not his wife? Well, you know what.
- 10:07Speaker 1: The long story. I had some experts here to give
- 10:10Speaker 1: him some help and what to do. This guy wrote
- 10:11Speaker 1: his wife a five hundred fifty dollar check and just
- 10:14Speaker 1: said here, here it is. I'm not giving you nothing else,
- 10:17Speaker 1: and he walked out. I said, oh my goodness, man,
- 10:20Speaker 1: this one was devastated. But that there's an opportunity here.
- 10:24Speaker 1: There's an opportunity in losing what you think is losing
- 10:27Speaker 1: your husband and your primary Breadwinter is a discuss, is
- 10:31Speaker 1: a chance to discover, well who am I? You know,
- 10:35Speaker 1: if you've been lost in this world? Talking about who
- 10:37Speaker 1: am I if I'm not his wife? Well, here's a
- 10:40Speaker 1: gonna be a great time for you discover who you
- 10:42Speaker 1: really are. And then he could also be a great
- 10:44Speaker 1: time for you to discover a man that really does
- 10:47Speaker 1: love you and standing by you. Be. All of my
- 10:50Speaker 1: successes have come off for heels of great demise. Think
- 10:54Speaker 1: about it, y'all, stay patient. God is always coming. You're
- 10:57Speaker 1: listening to Lady's a gentleman, bards and girls, everybody in
- 11:05Speaker 1: the well. Hi, Steve Harper Martin, show this Steve right here,
- 11:09Speaker 1: this Sherley, Hey, good morning, this caller, Hey, good morning,
- 11:13Speaker 1: happy this junior morning? Uh? This this food in the brown?
- 11:18Speaker 1: What's up with everybody? And this is the most ignorant
- 11:22Speaker 1: on high? That's us? What about you? Though? I'm just
- 11:27Speaker 1: Steve Man, I'm feeling who. I'm ignorant when I need
- 11:31Speaker 1: to be. I'm thought provoking if I need to be.
- 11:34Speaker 1: You know, I'm crazy when y'all don't want me to be.
- 11:38Speaker 1: You know, Sherlen Collins job is to watch me and
- 11:44Speaker 1: to keep my ass off the internet, protect you from you.
- 11:52Speaker 1: You came, you came well a coat, a coating that
- 12:02Speaker 1: but I mean it was flying, But I mean you
- 12:06Speaker 1: understand balloted, understand who is blutt? You keep saying right
- 12:10Speaker 1: down him, it ain't in the store, so you know,
- 12:17Speaker 1: you know it's in the store. I can't bite out
- 12:20Speaker 1: of the store. You gotta you have to special order it. Now.
- 12:24Speaker 1: The coat was the one. It was a one shot deal.
- 12:27Speaker 1: It was made for the runway. They made it in
- 12:29Speaker 1: a big size cause ballooty over in pairs and I
- 12:34Speaker 1: saw that thing. That thing was so pimping and fly
- 12:37Speaker 1: the beaver felt hat it was. It was you head
- 12:43Speaker 1: around here? What do you get that from? Once again?
- 12:47Speaker 1: Sitting hold up. This scarff was Erman's. It was a folk.
- 12:54Speaker 1: The thing I wore on my head was ski earmuss
- 12:57Speaker 1: because it was it was said, it said. I didn't
- 13:06Speaker 1: say it. S we're gonna bleep it, but you didn't
- 13:11Speaker 1: say it. And god do you have the money to
- 13:14Speaker 1: pay the fine, because that was the hasty one right there.
- 13:17Speaker 1: I have to agree with you said, and now you
- 13:19Speaker 1: say it was it was. It was kind of cold,
- 13:25Speaker 1: kind of cold out there, so I had this man.
- 13:30Speaker 1: I had to get these special ear plugs. So they
- 13:33Speaker 1: came to my house a week before and you got
- 13:36Speaker 1: a clean ears out. Then they shoot this phone down
- 13:39Speaker 1: in your ears to make a mold. I mean, man,
- 13:43Speaker 1: it goes almost to the ear drum, that's how deep
- 13:47Speaker 1: it going here. And you had to wear two of
- 13:49Speaker 1: them because the decipos is one tin at New Year's Eve,
- 13:51Speaker 1: so you can't hear. So all you can hear is
- 13:55Speaker 1: the guy in your head and yourself on Mike. You
- 13:59Speaker 1: can't hear crowd noise, nothing, so like if you're standing
- 14:03Speaker 1: right next to me talking, I can't. And so my
- 14:07Speaker 1: ears were freezing doing the rehearsal during the day. So
- 14:10Speaker 1: I sent my son to buy me that thing. The
- 14:13Speaker 1: ski is way around their head and covers day ears,
- 14:15Speaker 1: and then I could fit my hat on top of that.
- 14:17Speaker 1: I had to will you be outside next year or
- 14:22Speaker 1: inside with that chick with that chi that chick For
- 14:27Speaker 1: me to do that again, they check that check would
- 14:30Speaker 1: have to change. All right, it is time for something funny, guys.
- 14:35Speaker 1: We're gonna talk about annoying things that grown people do
- 14:39Speaker 1: while driving. All right, we'll be back at thirty two
- 14:43Speaker 1: after you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, now,
- 14:47Speaker 1: it's time for something funny, guys. We're gonna talk about
- 14:50Speaker 1: annoying things that grown people do while you're driving. So
- 14:53Speaker 1: when you are so these people are in the car
- 14:56Speaker 1: with you, just the passenger, the passage or that seat,
- 15:01Speaker 1: our kids, or just just you're the driver. So you
- 15:04Speaker 1: gotta focus on. And it's just a little stuff that
- 15:08Speaker 1: gets on this little things man, like just that little
- 15:11Speaker 1: steve like you driving right. I can't stand people point
- 15:15Speaker 1: to stuff for me to look at. Yeah I'm driving.
- 15:21Speaker 1: Look look look you missed, you missed. Oh you they
- 15:28Speaker 1: got tomatoes on sale? Look look ye see that sad
- 15:40Speaker 1: and drive at that word. Man, I can't stand for
- 15:46Speaker 1: people to see that gets on my hand. Come. First
- 15:52Speaker 1: of all, you don't know the words to the song.
- 15:56Speaker 1: I can't stand. And you don't sound nothing like nothing
- 15:59Speaker 1: like song the song? Are you? Even when you just
- 16:02Speaker 1: change the station when they're singing Twitter on talk talk, Grady,
- 16:08Speaker 1: I don't care what they're talking about. We started listening
- 16:10Speaker 1: to talk the minute. You're hoping your mouth and lazy
- 16:14Speaker 1: and gentlemen. We are here today, like when we're going
- 16:21Speaker 1: cross town to my auntie Hop. I hadn't been there
- 16:25Speaker 1: a thousand times, but my wife want to give me
- 16:28Speaker 1: directions though, Go this way, go for to five and
- 16:34Speaker 1: then take fifty nine. If you take fifth to night,
- 16:35Speaker 1: we'll get there a little quicker. But we've been there
- 16:38Speaker 1: several times. I know where I'm going. Come on, Steve.
- 16:48Speaker 1: When people driving they damn calm looking over at an
- 16:53Speaker 1: accident that they ain't about the US in one overhere. Yeah,
- 17:04Speaker 1: I can't stand over there. I can't that window. That
- 17:12Speaker 1: window is not to be played with, okay, down, up
- 17:17Speaker 1: and down? Yeah yes, or women with hotlashes. Yeah, I
- 17:24Speaker 1: can't staying that. That's why I got wind the locked.
- 17:28Speaker 1: That's why I got locked. Yeah, he got the lock
- 17:30Speaker 1: to win. Take the child. I'm not not doing it.
- 17:33Speaker 1: Not don't grown I'm not gonna do it. You know.
- 17:36Speaker 1: I can't stand right. I get my car wash and
- 17:39Speaker 1: I come pick you up. Take it awhere. If you
- 17:41Speaker 1: eat in my car and drop in it, I don't
- 17:45Speaker 1: know when when you're driving, you always notice somebody dropping something.
- 17:51Speaker 1: Got chips. I see the chip fall down your shirt.
- 17:55Speaker 1: You could have seat to my flow, but you keep
- 17:58Speaker 1: eating like it ain't dyning that. Okay, Okay, I hate
- 18:02Speaker 1: to go there. I'm driving in my car. I look
- 18:06Speaker 1: out the little just look out to the peripheral of
- 18:08Speaker 1: my of my of my right side. Are you picking? Yo? No,
- 18:13Speaker 1: wait a minute, where are you? Where are you dusting
- 18:17Speaker 1: that your fingers? Man? Where's that going? That's on my floor? Man? Now, bro, bro,
- 18:26Speaker 1: but y'all didn't saying that you didn't seen it. I
- 18:32Speaker 1: used to hate getting there somebody's car and don't nothing work.
- 18:39Speaker 1: We ain't got no radio, we ain't got no el.
- 18:44Speaker 1: We're just sitting up in here, hot, in silence, and
- 18:53Speaker 1: it's starting to smoke. Boy one, Okay, you have gum
- 19:05Speaker 1: in your mouth. I don't want to hear you click it.
- 19:09Speaker 1: I don't want to hear your popping. Oh yeah, I
- 19:12Speaker 1: don't want to see you making bubbles out of it.
- 19:15Speaker 1: Damn it just shooting, Okay, just shooting, that's it. That's
- 19:19Speaker 1: why they call it shooting gum. You know what? I
- 19:26Speaker 1: had this problem? Right now, I won't I won't to
- 19:29Speaker 1: drive like Steve, but I don't have one. But right now,
- 19:34Speaker 1: stay out my damn glove box. Why are you? Why
- 19:37Speaker 1: is you in there? What the hell made you click
- 19:42Speaker 1: that two buttons and pull it down? And what are
- 19:46Speaker 1: you looking for? You got something here? When did you
- 19:49Speaker 1: put something in there? It's like when you go to
- 19:51Speaker 1: somebody's house and they go to their medicine cabinet in
- 19:53Speaker 1: the bathroom. I'm I love it. That's what bothered me.
- 20:01Speaker 1: We pull out the driveway, I'm rolling my son in
- 20:05Speaker 1: the backseat. He started holling and crying. We can't go.
- 20:09Speaker 1: We got to stop. Wait a minute, what's wrong? The
- 20:12Speaker 1: WiFi ain't work? It on my back? I used to hate? What?
- 20:22Speaker 1: Don't ask me to use my car? Please? Man, you
- 20:27Speaker 1: don't want your feelings hurt. You don't know how I
- 20:30Speaker 1: really feel about you. Don't ask me to use my
- 20:34Speaker 1: damn car for nothing, for nothing, to go to work,
- 20:38Speaker 1: go to stove. Yeah, you're gonna find out what you
- 20:41Speaker 1: really in the phrase, Well, it's just sitting there. That's
- 20:44Speaker 1: why it's just sitting there, because it's my car, and
- 20:47Speaker 1: I ain't well, it's just sitting there. So yeah, so what? Yeah,
- 20:53Speaker 1: I hate. I'm backing out now. And in order to
- 20:56Speaker 1: back out, you gotta look back. Why am I looking
- 21:00Speaker 1: at you? Looking back at me? Back in out? Don't
- 21:04Speaker 1: take two of us, come back out. I'm looking. I'll
- 21:13Speaker 1: tell you one thing I can't don't diagnose my call?
- 21:17Speaker 1: How you know what's wrong with my call? So you
- 21:22Speaker 1: got a bad time? How you know you just got in.
- 21:26Speaker 1: Come on, Steve, got this one l one. This got
- 21:29Speaker 1: something to do with using my car. This is what
- 21:31Speaker 1: a free did to me one time, called a cap
- 21:34Speaker 1: to my house to ask me to use But you
- 21:38Speaker 1: should have took this ca That's great, all right, come

- 22:37Speaker 1: You um, you actually came out and you I think
- 22:40Speaker 1: you were here on Black Friday. Uh, and you came
- 22:43Speaker 1: out and purchased four flat tring televisions forty forty two inches?
- 22:47Speaker 1: Am I correct? Yeah? But what fun? What I was
- 22:52Speaker 1: giving you a call for sharing is that we got
- 22:54Speaker 1: a bit of a problem. Now when you purchase these
- 22:57Speaker 1: actual flat tring televisions on on Black Friday, so to speak,
- 23:02Speaker 1: it seems that we've got them. Um. Well, your your
- 23:06Speaker 1: purchase went through successfully, I will admit that, but there
- 23:09Speaker 1: should have been a red flag that have gone up
- 23:12Speaker 1: because we're going back over transactions of the past two
- 23:15Speaker 1: three days here and we're realizing that your purchase should
- 23:19Speaker 1: not have been successful. It should have been for your
- 23:22Speaker 1: credit card is actually not valid at all now now
- 23:25Speaker 1: my credit card because oh we got paid on Wednesday,
- 23:28Speaker 1: so my money was there. Well actually, ma'am, And what
- 23:32Speaker 1: I'm what I'm trying to explain to you is that
- 23:34Speaker 1: it is coming up in valid now and we're having
- 23:38Speaker 1: a problem with it. So I wanted to reach out
- 23:40Speaker 1: to you and give you a call and see if
- 23:42Speaker 1: we could probably you know, uh, it was. It was
- 23:45Speaker 1: valid when I was at their racist because it went through.
- 23:47Speaker 1: I got to receive everything I improyed to that extend
- 23:50Speaker 1: to warranty on Alpha. Um, so it was valid on
- 23:53Speaker 1: on Friday. I don't know what's wrong with it today,
- 23:55Speaker 1: but it was good then. And I understand that I
- 23:58Speaker 1: understand that that you know, just being at the register
- 24:01Speaker 1: and you purchasing and no problems at all happening. That's
- 24:04Speaker 1: pretty much the thought process that you're gonna have. What
- 24:06Speaker 1: I'm letting you know is on the on the back
- 24:08Speaker 1: part of it when you came into the store. H
- 24:11Speaker 1: what we're getting the day the day after is that
- 24:14Speaker 1: it was pretty much invalid. It wasn't good at all.
- 24:17Speaker 1: Your credit card was not good at all. But you
- 24:19Speaker 1: need to call your bank then, because I don't know
- 24:22Speaker 1: what to tell you. You know, I had the money
- 24:25Speaker 1: in there the day I went about them, and that's
- 24:28Speaker 1: it for me. So I don't know who you need
- 24:30Speaker 1: to call. But don't call me because you know that
- 24:32Speaker 1: ain't been in my problem. Okay, you know what I'm
- 24:34Speaker 1: not gonna I'm not gonna raise this to be a
- 24:36Speaker 1: major problem. We're gonna try to rectify it and get
- 24:39Speaker 1: it taken care of. Yeah, do what you need to do. Okay, listen,
- 24:42Speaker 1: Now here's what we're gonna do. You know what, I
- 24:45Speaker 1: wanted to try to work this out as smoothly as
- 24:46Speaker 1: we can. What I'm gonna have to ask you to do.
- 24:50Speaker 1: Can I get you to come back up to the
- 24:52Speaker 1: store and bring all four televisions with you know now
- 24:56Speaker 1: you sure can't baby look about them for TV. I
- 25:00Speaker 1: have read one of them up this under the tree
- 25:02Speaker 1: from my husb my mama early. She already got the
- 25:05Speaker 1: other TV we hunted up for home serreay when we
- 25:08Speaker 1: was watching movies. So it didn't really. Ain't no way
- 25:10Speaker 1: we're gonna bring the folk TVs back. I think you
- 25:12Speaker 1: should go back to Wealth process your credit cards and
- 25:15Speaker 1: tell them that they that. I don't know what you're
- 25:17Speaker 1: gonna tell them, but you need to go back to them.
- 25:20Speaker 1: I ain't got time to be running back and forth
- 25:21Speaker 1: to this story. I don't want to. I don't want
- 25:23Speaker 1: us to create a problem here. I don't want to
- 25:25Speaker 1: do that. You need to lower your voice, okay, but
- 25:30Speaker 1: you'll need to go back to wherever do your credit
- 25:32Speaker 1: cards because they went through when I was at the stop. Correct.
- 25:36Speaker 1: I don't want to go that's a no. I told
- 25:40Speaker 1: you that it went through EL. You ain't got no
- 25:42Speaker 1: business on my damn phone. They don't call me with
- 25:44Speaker 1: this bull no mouth hold on what. I don't want
- 25:48Speaker 1: to have to do. I don't want to have to
- 25:49Speaker 1: come out to your home and confensate you. I wish
- 25:54Speaker 1: you would come after my house. Maybe we will beat
- 25:56Speaker 1: you into bad health. You're bad not bring you'all over here. Look,
- 26:00Speaker 1: you need to Kyle. We do your credit cards, get
- 26:02Speaker 1: your tray with them because your business with me is done.

- 26:08Speaker 1: out here, my joy. Tell y'all you bring your over
- 26:11Speaker 1: here there that listen, lady, I don't want to go
- 26:13Speaker 1: back and forth with you on this and that you
- 26:16Speaker 1: ain't going back and forth. It's over with. I've got
- 26:19Speaker 1: the TVs, I got a receipt. We's done. I don't
- 26:22Speaker 1: know what's wrong with your machine. Listen, my card win.
- 26:25Speaker 1: So I'm trying to get her to understand you, to
- 26:28Speaker 1: understand why I'm saying. You can hang on one second
- 26:32Speaker 1: and let me speak with my boss. Please vote on
- 26:35Speaker 1: the phone. I tell yo bout y'all, don't run me back.
- 26:38Speaker 1: I got a receipt for fail TVs and I'm okay
- 26:41Speaker 1: I'll fail TVs. Listen. You know this is pretty much
- 26:44Speaker 1: considered a theft process. Listen, kissed in, listen to me
- 26:54Speaker 1: piss that I got a red feet for faul TVs.
- 26:57Speaker 1: I won't got to start wear my receipt. I got
- 27:00Speaker 1: my extended warranting. So this ain't no self. What this
- 27:04Speaker 1: is is as communication between y'all banks. So you need
- 27:07Speaker 1: to get Joe right because I'm not a prepaid dead
- 27:10Speaker 1: card back. I don't hold no backs on them TVs.
- 27:13Speaker 1: You need to call YO back and get them about
- 27:15Speaker 1: my phone because they don't choll some TVs from a
- 27:19Speaker 1: store and dammage. You're gonna bring them back? Or you
- 27:23Speaker 1: think you come get him and get I got sho
- 27:26Speaker 1: TVs Yo done? Machine't get him something and I'm gonna
- 27:29Speaker 1: keep We're gonna watch the game. Oh Yo TVs? Bring
- 27:33Speaker 1: yall over here to want to we do a Mosko

- 27:41Speaker 1: job for the holiday. Just what you're done. Don't call
- 27:44Speaker 1: me what you're gonna get for users? Bad credit cards
- 27:48Speaker 1: at department stores? And I don't get your call? Then
- 27:51Speaker 1: do you understand me? So that's Joe tom me. You
- 27:55Speaker 1: put the folk TVs back? Then Joe, Uncle Tom try

- 29:24Speaker 1: when you sparkle a little, when a little already made?
- 29:28Speaker 1: Because when you get hurt well living well, will you know, Jake,
- 29:35Speaker 1: you gotta sprinkle a little stupid on it. Just sprinkle

- 30:09Speaker 1: some stupid, sprinkle some stupid. I don't even know. I'm
- 30:11Speaker 1: gonna let these characters out. I'm just gonna sprankle Stewart.
- 30:15Speaker 1: You're in control. I could do a year. You can't
- 30:22Speaker 1: know you can, Yes, I can't. With the butterfly. I
- 30:26Speaker 1: ain't gotta bring alright, bring them out, all right? Coming
- 30:31Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, like I said,
- 30:33Speaker 1: Miss Sam will be here to update us with our
- 30:35Speaker 1: national news. We'll be back and call me if you
- 30:39Speaker 1: see time and do a show and don't bring you
- 30:43Speaker 1: you're listening to the Stry Morning Show, all right. So
- 30:50Speaker 1: people are still mad at H and M. They are upset,
- 30:53Speaker 1: and and rightfully so. Um The story apologized after a
- 30:57Speaker 1: fierce bath backlash that it got over at ad which
- 31:01Speaker 1: featured a little black child wearing a sweatshirt that read
- 31:04Speaker 1: Coolest Monkey in the Jungle. You all saw that. It
- 31:08Speaker 1: was all over all over social media. The image caused
- 31:12Speaker 1: a wave of criticism, with many calling it racist and unacceptable. However,
- 31:17Speaker 1: I just found this out. We just got this information
- 31:21Speaker 1: that his mother, Terry Mango, that is her name, Terry Mango.
- 31:25Speaker 1: She's a mom of the little boy who's modeling the sweatshirt.
- 31:28Speaker 1: She's of Kenyan descent. She resides in Sweden, where H
- 31:32Speaker 1: and M is based. Replied via Facebook. She said that
- 31:35Speaker 1: she felt the response to her son, his name is
- 31:38Speaker 1: LaVette Jallo modeling the hoodie was over the top. She said,
- 31:42Speaker 1: stop crying wolf all the time. Yes, that's what she said.
- 31:45Speaker 1: Unnecessary issue here, get over it. That's what the little
- 31:50Speaker 1: boy's mom said. Yeah, that's that's that's a check related response.
- 31:57Speaker 1: That's what I thought based Yeah, that's what I thought.
- 32:05Speaker 1: First of all, how no one at H and them,
- 32:10Speaker 1: no one saw this. All the people in they are
- 32:15Speaker 1: unless they don't have no black people working for them,
- 32:19Speaker 1: ain't nobody saying, hey man, this might create a little
- 32:23Speaker 1: problem right here. This little black boy and the cutest
- 32:27Speaker 1: monkey in the general. You don't. Nobody ain't at the table.
- 32:32Speaker 1: At the table, nobody said that. That's what's scary. I
- 32:37Speaker 1: think they approached that H and M took was they
- 32:40Speaker 1: knew what they were doing. This is a great way
- 32:43Speaker 1: for them to get tons and tons of publicity that
- 32:47Speaker 1: they would never get and just take the backlash and
- 32:51Speaker 1: lose tons and tons of sales. They're people that could
- 32:57Speaker 1: be Yeah, this is worldwide, this is a world wide store.
- 33:00Speaker 1: Ye yeah they're bad. Yeah, people think you don't know
- 33:06Speaker 1: how people that you ever heard the saying that any
- 33:10Speaker 1: publicity is good publicity even if it's bad. There are
- 33:14Speaker 1: people who actually think that bad publicity is not good.
- 33:19Speaker 1: Just listen to me, Listen to the man. To somebody
- 33:23Speaker 1: who go about to tell you about publicity. You must
- 33:33Speaker 1: have never been publicized. But this is a store, Steve,
- 33:38Speaker 1: that doesn't have a face of a person that's out there.
- 33:41Speaker 1: This is a company unlike yourself. People see you all
- 33:44Speaker 1: the time. So this is a company that's worldwide. So
- 33:47Speaker 1: the publicity that they're gonna get a lot of people
- 33:49Speaker 1: have never heard of this damn store. But trust me,
- 33:52Speaker 1: this is this's gonna help and young people shop. Yeah,
- 33:56Speaker 1: and I but I won't be shopping there anymore. No,
- 33:59Speaker 1: I'm see nothing that is the black class that they
- 34:02Speaker 1: would not count on people to start boycotting sales, and
- 34:07Speaker 1: I won't shop there anymore. No one counted on that
- 34:10Speaker 1: because nobody wants to do it for that reason. But
- 34:14Speaker 1: it's just alarming to me, with the climate that we
- 34:17Speaker 1: live in today that a corporation of that size, with
- 34:21Speaker 1: that many employees and nobody bought this to the attention
- 34:26Speaker 1: and went to the ad company that works for them
- 34:29Speaker 1: and said, this is the ad we want to do
- 34:31Speaker 1: because most company hire promotion ad companies, you know. And
- 34:38Speaker 1: for for nobody to catch that and go, you know what,
- 34:41Speaker 1: this could be a problem. Somebody. I just can't believe
- 34:45Speaker 1: no one said that. Somebody brought it to their attention
- 34:48Speaker 1: and said, there's nothing wrong with that. Yeah, the mom
- 34:51Speaker 1: said she really doesn't understand. Um and um she she
- 34:56Speaker 1: wasn't really moved by it. H and M apologized, But Steve,
- 34:59Speaker 1: we have to move on. Let's get to Misthian. Okay,
- 35:02Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, here she is miss A and Trip.
- 35:05Speaker 1: Thanks Steve, Thanks everybody. This is and Trip with the news. Okay,
- 35:08Speaker 1: we've got more stuff like that. The Trump administration, first
- 35:11Speaker 1: of all, is now allowing states to require that Medicaid
- 35:14Speaker 1: recipients work. In other words, states can now decide to
- 35:17Speaker 1: withhold healthcare from people they deem able to work who
- 35:20Speaker 1: are not doing so. So the change would not, they say,
- 35:23Speaker 1: affect seniors or pregnant women or children are those with
- 35:26Speaker 1: disabilities now. Up till now, Medicaid recipients haven't been required
- 35:30Speaker 1: to be employed. Medicaid covers more than seventy million people,
- 35:33Speaker 1: making it the largest healthcare insurance program. But researchers say
- 35:37Speaker 1: sixty percent of those adults on Medicaid do work, either
- 35:41Speaker 1: full or part time, and they've usually signed up for
- 35:43Speaker 1: it because the places that they work in don't provide healthcare.
- 35:46Speaker 1: But going to the Washington Post, President Trump get This
- 35:48Speaker 1: reportedly used a vulgar slur to refer to African countries
- 35:52Speaker 1: Haiti and El Salvador during a meeting in the Oval
- 35:54Speaker 1: Office earlier this week, and demanded at one point to
- 35:57Speaker 1: know why he should accept immigrants from such place is
- 36:00Speaker 1: and suggesting that the US should be bringing in immigrants
- 36:03Speaker 1: from places like Norway. So far, the White House has
- 36:06Speaker 1: neither confirmed or deny the report. By the way, the
- 36:08Speaker 1: word they say he used is the street name for excrement.
- 36:12Speaker 1: University of Maryland hospital apologizing for discharging a patient found
- 36:16Speaker 1: on the street in the hospital gown. The hospital was
- 36:19Speaker 1: thrust into the national spotlight and social media erupted with
- 36:21Speaker 1: outrage after a viral video so security guards leaving a
- 36:25Speaker 1: disoriented young black woman from the University of Maryland Medical
- 36:28Speaker 1: Center on the street, barely dressed, just in a gown
- 36:31Speaker 1: with a temperature in the thirties. A man named Mamma
- 36:33Speaker 1: Baracca saw her, helped her and filmed her. The reason
- 36:36Speaker 1: that I did that and I recorded this is to
- 36:38Speaker 1: protect her and to protect me. No one would have
- 36:42Speaker 1: believed me. We would not have gotten these outcomes if
- 36:45Speaker 1: I had not. This video is now the voice for her.
- 36:49Speaker 1: That's right, Mr Baraco, Mama Baraca, who says the video
- 36:53Speaker 1: that in the video, he says he's a psychotherapist, and
- 36:55Speaker 1: he says that woman should not have been discharged in
- 36:58Speaker 1: the first place. The government of Ecuador is giving Wiki
- 37:01Speaker 1: Leaks founder Julian Assandra Ecuadorian citizenship. However, the Brits say
- 37:05Speaker 1: they're not gonna let him leave the UK because he
- 37:07Speaker 1: still faces charges there. And finally, today is National Curry
- 37:10Speaker 1: Chicken Day, which I really like and also fabulous wild
- 37:14Speaker 1: Men Day. Hey you did you dig? You're in the
- 37:24Speaker 1: Butterfly coming out twenty minutes after the hours. Stay tuned
- 37:26Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to the
- 37:29Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Gentlemen, It is now time to
- 37:34Speaker 1: introduce the butterfly and without any practice, me and Jake
- 37:39Speaker 1: gonna bring him own out. You know you know? Do

- 38:13Speaker 1: know they didn't even practice this? It sounds good? Do
- 38:17Speaker 1: you know? Thank you? Do you know? I like it?

- 38:29Speaker 1: don't you know? You get out of country? You know?
- 38:34Speaker 1: You do you know? You know you know? Do you know?
- 38:39Speaker 1: Do you know? Do you know? Do you know? You know?
- 38:43Speaker 1: Do you know? Do you know? Do you know? Do
- 38:46Speaker 1: you know? No? Practice, No you know? No, I can't
- 38:51Speaker 1: I know, damn practice. I'm here. Do you know? Stick
- 38:58Speaker 1: you know you do? Do you know? Get it? Jown?

- 39:53Speaker 1: if they squawl, let me don't even know. The almost
- 39:57Speaker 1: sounds like every next week. I know it sounds like church.

- 42:24Speaker 1: But Trump said, no, sir, how about Wendy Williams painted
- 42:28Speaker 1: on TV she was burning up the lady Liberty. Then

- 42:35Speaker 1: us once turned around and did the same thing. Hello
- 42:37Speaker 1: Harvey Weinstein pulling at your danger link. Hope they let

- 43:04Speaker 1: to run away. That's right, babys to eighteen. I'm gonna

- 50:35Speaker 1: So somebody came up there and said that I'm flashing
- 50:37Speaker 1: people and y'all just get a war out. That's that's
- 50:41Speaker 1: how easy it did. Right, well, if they have filed
- 50:45Speaker 1: a complaint. Okay, listen, I'll tell you what. I'm gonna
- 50:48Speaker 1: send a car over. Okay, you can send a car

- 50:53Speaker 1: because I haven't blasted anybody. I'm too old to be
- 50:57Speaker 1: flashing people. I don't need that. So you're I'm like,
- 51:00Speaker 1: you ever send a car you want to. I'll tell
- 51:02Speaker 1: you what. You better said more than one because I
- 51:04Speaker 1: enjoy because what more does not tell me anything? Mr jid.

- 51:21Speaker 1: he's going who because I've been out of nowhere naked
- 51:25Speaker 1: and not knowing it. I don't give it what I'm
- 51:27Speaker 1: talking to you, but it wasn't mean. So y'all can
- 51:30Speaker 1: kiss not so when I'm talking to you too. So
- 51:33Speaker 1: I'm gonna get it on till they kiss. Don't know
- 51:35Speaker 1: the way I have got going yet that I say

- 52:02Speaker 1: the person that filed the complaint. That's what I was
- 52:07Speaker 1: talking Tommy, ma'am, ma'am. Tommy filed the complaint. Tommy baby,
- 52:14Speaker 1: nephew Tommy. I don't have any named Tommy. Regina, Regina, Regina.
- 52:26Speaker 1: This is nephew Tommy from the Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 54:01Speaker 1: was talking. I said, brother, you ain't never been arrested.
- 54:04Speaker 1: He said, I went black man in America. I just
- 54:09Speaker 1: told that ain't had that experience and not justifiably, but

- 54:32Speaker 1: They came to my house one time and got me. Wow,
- 54:37Speaker 1: I had to go get my members only jacket. They
- 54:42Speaker 1: let you go get your jacket members. They took the
- 54:47Speaker 1: shoes strings out of my shoes out my gayess. They
- 54:50Speaker 1: pounded my car at the gas Thattion going to work
- 54:53Speaker 1: damn all right, coming up at the top of the hour,
- 55:00Speaker 1: Today's Strawberry Letter. We'll be right back. You're listening to
- 55:04Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey. The Strawberry Letter is next. Wait till
- 55:09Speaker 1: you hear this letter. Okay, But first, Steve, the country
- 55:13Speaker 1: is going through so much with the cold weather and
- 55:15Speaker 1: everything in the Northeast and the Midwest. But out here
- 55:18Speaker 1: in California, UM, you can't look at the news without
- 55:21Speaker 1: seeing news about the mud slides. They have devastated the
- 55:25Speaker 1: gated community where Oprah Winfrey and Ellen Degenerous live up
- 55:29Speaker 1: there in Montecito in the Santa Barbara area. On her show,
- 55:33Speaker 1: Ellen face timed Oprah, who was back on her forty
- 55:35Speaker 1: acre property. The mudslides knocked out yeah, public utilities such
- 55:41Speaker 1: as gas and running water. Firefighters on the scene described
- 55:44Speaker 1: the devastation to Ellen, the mudslide was a football field
- 55:49Speaker 1: wide and plowed through dozens of homes. Oprah's mansion was
- 55:52Speaker 1: spared because it sits on the top of a knoll.
- 55:56Speaker 1: Thing Rescue efforts continue. People are still missing and firefighters
- 56:00Speaker 1: are searching for bodies that are buried in the mud.
- 56:05Speaker 1: The fires, the mud slide, well, that's l A man
- 56:09Speaker 1: l A has the fires on the brush. They wipe
- 56:13Speaker 1: out all the brush and destroy a lot of the vegetation,
- 56:16Speaker 1: so there's nothing. They're stabilizing it. So when the rainy
- 56:20Speaker 1: season comes, then here comes the mud. And you got
- 56:23Speaker 1: the earthquakes. So it's it's some things to living out here.
- 56:27Speaker 1: You got the mud slides. You're gonna have the rainy
- 56:30Speaker 1: season which is gonna produce the mud slides. And then
- 56:33Speaker 1: it got rained two days in the row and you
- 56:36Speaker 1: got a problem. But one of one of the earth.
- 56:38Speaker 1: One of the things that's helping is um for the
- 56:40Speaker 1: mud that's coming down the hill. On the four or five.
- 56:43Speaker 1: George Wallace's mom has spread eagle on the four or five,
- 56:47Speaker 1: holding that you did not we didn't see that coming.
- 56:52Speaker 1: We did not see that. We didn't see that one coming,
- 56:55Speaker 1: did we. She's spready, I hate you, j Can I
- 57:02Speaker 1: tell you, Tommy, let's get to this letter. Please. This
- 57:09Speaker 1: man right here, you hired him. That's a lot of pressures. Okay,
- 57:16Speaker 1: we got to get to the letter. Hold on, we
- 57:22Speaker 1: got it for you here. It is a strawberry letter.
- 57:26Speaker 1: Yeah you know what, Tommy, thank you, as a matter
- 57:28Speaker 1: of fact, is so good. If you've got kids. You
- 57:30Speaker 1: may not want them to hear this one. Okay, yeah,
- 57:35Speaker 1: subject the reesum. About two months ago, my wife asked
- 57:42Speaker 1: me what I wanted for my birthday, and I told
- 57:45Speaker 1: her my biggest fantasy was to have a threesome. It
- 57:48Speaker 1: took some persuading and finally she gave in. Let's just say,
- 57:54Speaker 1: the best birthday present I have had in a long
- 57:57Speaker 1: time until the lights came on. To my surprise, lying
- 58:04Speaker 1: next to my wife was her mother. Wo wow, Yeah,
- 58:11Speaker 1: I'll read it again. To my surprise, lying next to
- 58:15Speaker 1: my wife wife was her mother. Now I got to
- 58:23Speaker 1: admit I have always thought my mother in law was
- 58:26Speaker 1: fine as heck. Wow, But now I'm feeling kind of
- 58:31Speaker 1: guilty when I'm around my father in law. Just the
- 58:34Speaker 1: other day, she told me she wanted She told me
- 58:38Speaker 1: she wanted the same thing for her birthday. Help. How
- 58:43Speaker 1: do I get out of this situation? And do I
- 58:45Speaker 1: tell my father in law? Okay, you cannot be serious
- 58:49Speaker 1: with that stupid question. You cannot be serious. Can you
- 58:52Speaker 1: tell your father in law? Uh? No? Or tell him
- 58:57Speaker 1: and see how that goes for you? Those are your choice. No,
- 59:00Speaker 1: do not tell your father in law? Okay, this whole
- 59:02Speaker 1: letter is crazy, of course, you know. But I'm really, really,
- 59:06Speaker 1: really surprised at your wife, and I'm just as equally
- 59:10Speaker 1: surprised at her mom. I mean, just the thought of
- 59:13Speaker 1: this makes me shudder for real. I don't know what
- 59:16Speaker 1: kind of relationship your wife and her mother have. I
- 59:19Speaker 1: don't know. I mean, how did she get her mom
- 59:21Speaker 1: to agree to this? What does she say to convince her?
- 59:26Speaker 1: I just think maybe in your wife's crazy mind that
- 59:29Speaker 1: you know, maybe she'd rather be her mom than a
- 59:31Speaker 1: girlfriend or some stranger or something. I really don't get this.
- 59:35Speaker 1: And if your wife wants the same thing for her birthday,
- 59:39Speaker 1: what does that mean? And are you gonna do it?
- 59:42Speaker 1: This letter is crazy? Six six Steve, I don't have
- 59:46Speaker 1: any answer for them. I don't I don't have anything
- 59:51Speaker 1: your turn, man, I don't even know whether, oh this
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: is crazy. First of all, let me just start at
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: the beginning of this disbelief. If my wife comes to
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: me and says, Steve, what do you want for your birthday?
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: I cannot, I can't. I cannot say to this woman
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: my biggest fantasy is to have a threesome. Because she's
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: gonna move, She's gonna pack up, move, I'm pretty sure
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: she did hear some money, so that plus half. Um,
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: that's the first thing I can't do is tell my
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: wife I want a threesome. And then it took some
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: persuading and she finally gave in. You had the best
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: birthday present I've had in a long time. Right, that
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: statement through me. You get a threesome with your wife
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: and someone else, and it's the best birthday present you
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: had in a long time. What was your other guilt?
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: I'm just trying to figure out what was your other
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: guilt if you got this one and this was the
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: best one in a long time, you had some hellified birthdays, son, congratulator,
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: my man, I shoul want to know where the hell
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: happen on his other birthday. Until the lights came on,
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: to my surprise, laying next to my wife was her mother.
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: I probably shouldn't say this. Oh, I've had a few
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: mother in laws in my time. I'm just putting it
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: out there, Huh. I've had a few mother in laws
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: in my day. Is at the end of the sentence, Steve,
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: and now I wanted him, Oh, could I cut the
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: lights on and look over there? And they lay in
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: there exactly. I don't know who your mother in law is,
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: he says, she find his. Heck, I don't know when
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: I come back, I have the rest. I'm I'm stunned.
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: We'll have part two of Steve's responds to the Strawberry
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: letter today at twenty three after the hour. You don't
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: want to miss it. You're listening to Steve Morning Show.
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: All right, Steve, come on, let's get to part two
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: of your response to today's Strawberry. As always, me and
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: my partner in crime. I'm gonna do some improv. Tommy
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: is gonna be the girl, the daughter who is going
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: to ask the mama who is mem the mama. Tommy
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: gonna play the daughter asking the mama about this threesome
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: with a husband named Rodney. Okay, hey, mama, Hey, how

- 1:04:01Speaker 1: bless you. You know, I was thinking about both of
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: us being blessed. Um we is you know, Yeah, but
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: you know you got a good father and I got
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: a good husband. Yes, yes, what mom? What you bes

- 1:06:03Speaker 1: my son in law? And if you know, if your
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: dadda keep you all together, I guess I going down
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: the Turners Turners a little young. Alright, thank you, Steve.
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: You know we gotta get out of here. You can
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: email us or instagram us your thoughts on today's Strawberry
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: letter at my girls surely switching gears now. So people
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: are still mad at H and M. They are upset
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: and and rightfully so. Um. The store apologized after a
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: fierce bas backlash that it got over that ad, which
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: featured a little black child wearing a sweatshirt that read
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: Coolest Monkey in the Jungle. You all saw that. It
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: was all over all over social media. The image caused
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: a wave of criticism, with many calling it racist and unacceptable. However,
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: I just found this out. We just got this information
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: that his mom there, Terry Mango. That is her name,
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: Terry Mango. She's a mom of the little boy who's
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: modeling the sweatshirt. She's of Kenyan descent. She resides in Sweden,
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: where H and M is based. Replied via Facebook. She
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: said that she felt the response to her son, his
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: name is LaVette Jollo modeling the hoodie was over the top.
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: She said, stop crying wolf all the time. Yes, that's
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: what she said. Unnecessary issue here, get over it. That's
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: what the little boy's mom said. That's a check related response.
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: That's what I thought, Steve. First of all, how no
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: one at him, No one saw this. All the people
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: in they are unless they don't have no black people
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: working for him. Ain't nobody say, hey man, this might
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: create a little problem right here, this little black boy
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: and the cutest monkey in the general. You don't nobody
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: ain't at the table. That's what's scared read. I think
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: they approached that H and M took was they knew
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: what they were doing. This is a great way for
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: them to get tons and tons of publicity that they
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: would never get and just take the backlash and lose
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: tons and tons of sales. Yeah, they're gonna lose saling
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: people that could be Yeah, this is worldwide, This is
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: a worldwide story. Yeah, Yeah, they're barters. Yeah, people think
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: you don't know how people that you ever heard the
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: saying that any publicity is good publicity even if it's bad.
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: There are people who actually think that bad publicity is
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: not good. You just listen to me, listen to the man,
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: to somebody who got about to tell you about publicity.
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: You must have never been publicized. But this is a
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: store of Steve that doesn't have a face of a
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: person that's out there. This is a company unlike yourself.
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: People see you all the time. So this is a
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: company that's worldwide. So the publicity that they're gonna get
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: a lot of people have never heard of this damn store.
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: But that's gonna help young people shop. Yeah, and but
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: I won't be shopping there anymore. That is the blas
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: that they would not count on people to start boycotting sales,
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: and I won't shop there anymore. No one counted on
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: that because nobody wants to do it for that reason.
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: But it's just alarming to me, with the climate that
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: we live in today that a corporation of that size,
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: with that many employees and nobody bought this to the
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: attention and win. This could be a problem all right
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: coming up at forty one after the hour Bad Acting
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: Theater back first of the new year, and the Chapman's

- 1:11:17Speaker 1: me I was dreaming and none of those people will help.
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: What about the office Christmas party? What? What was that
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: a dream too? No? No, there was an office party.

- 1:12:58Speaker 1: to open up my very own CBS store. Yeah. I

- 1:25:54Speaker 1: make available to everyone participating. A kid that includes number one,
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: a system and cleansing and detox to get rid of
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: wasting blowing into the body because that's the first place
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: to start to help jump start that metabolism and get
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: everything moving in the right direction. Then we introduced things
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: like a mounted vitamin for overall health and so forth.
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: Then we also have like the meal on the gold shape.
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: You know, if you're ripping and running you don't have
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: enough time to grab you know, a meal or sandwich,
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: that sort of thing. Then you still get your nutrition
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: by way of that. Then we offer a fat burner,
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: and this fat burner is made of metal acid and
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: it also have a B six in it. So not
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: only does this help the body burn fat efficiently, it's
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: also helps to get rid of fluid. So we have
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: all of that as part of the kit. Then we
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: have the meal plan and the Meal Plan destruction in
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: such a way you can really go right to your
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: local grocery store and buy your own food. You don't
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: have to get these engineer type of food that a
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: lot of people do. I don't like that crap. I
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: don't like engineering food. I want to rather know what's
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: in my food and prep it for myself. So we
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: have all of these different things. Then we have to
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: exercise DVD one I trained with Lee using functional training.
- 1:27:12Speaker 1: They're my main man Cubit using Cubit robocks, So you
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: got something to work out to just this training, and
- 1:27:20Speaker 1: then we got something for cardio cardio workout, and then
- 1:27:24Speaker 1: beyond that, we've created what it's called the Fitness Community,
- 1:27:28Speaker 1: so you can go through the community. When you're go

- 1:27:43Speaker 1: to go shopping for groceries, so you get ongoing information
- 1:27:47Speaker 1: to help you follow this process through. You order the
- 1:27:51Speaker 1: kit to get started. Hey, we'll be back y'all with
- 1:27:55Speaker 1: more Lee Haney and the Weight Lost Challenge. You're listening
- 1:27:59Speaker 1: Hary morning, I'll tell me black. We're talking to Lee
- 1:28:02Speaker 1: Hanny about his uh thirty day Weight Lost challenge. Folks,
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: listen to me. This is the thirty Day Challenge. This
- 1:28:10Speaker 1: is an opportunity for you to get in shape in
- 1:28:12Speaker 1: thirty days and also at the same time, we're in
- 1:28:15Speaker 1: a prize. So here's the deal. If you go to
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: Lee hany dot com, anybody can participate. You order the
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: kit to get started. There are some instructions in the
- 1:28:25Speaker 1: way you have to take a before and after picture,
- 1:28:29Speaker 1: before weight and an afterweight picture. Is that correctly? Now
- 1:28:34Speaker 1: there are specific instructions on how this is done so
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: nobody can cheat. Okay, it's gonna have to evolve with
- 1:28:41Speaker 1: the newspaper on the day that you decide to take it,
- 1:28:44Speaker 1: and Lee Hany is gonna give your chance to order
- 1:28:46Speaker 1: this and then the start date will begin, So it

- 1:28:52Speaker 1: get your mind right. Then we're gonna start it on
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: a certain day. On that day, it's when you take
- 1:28:58Speaker 1: the picture. Then in on the closing date you take
- 1:29:02Speaker 1: the picture. The woman who loses the most percentage of
- 1:29:07Speaker 1: weight not the most weight, because some people got a
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: lot more to lose than others. And the man who
- 1:29:14Speaker 1: loses the highest percentage of body weight wins in the
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: male category and the female category. And the reason we've
- 1:29:21Speaker 1: broken up into two categories because women always say me
- 1:29:24Speaker 1: and lose weight easier and quicker. Which is at which
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: is the true state? See we got the registration date
- 1:29:34Speaker 1: is going to be January the nineteenth. That's the Deadlinser.
- 1:29:37Speaker 1: You gotta get yourself registered by January the nineteenth, couched.
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: The starting date is going to be February the first,
- 1:29:45Speaker 1: you know, So we're started a couple of weeks later
- 1:29:47Speaker 1: than before because of the weather, and that's sort of thing.
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: So this is going to be an exciting deal pluster
- 1:29:52Speaker 1: giving away a thousand dollars and cashing pride the male
- 1:29:57Speaker 1: and the female winners. Now, don't add to that least.
- 1:30:03Speaker 1: I'll tell you what you have the last few years.
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: You double what we had before. This time, we're doing
- 1:30:10Speaker 1: a thirty and we'll add like, uh, let's say we
- 1:30:14Speaker 1: add two thousands of the mail two thousands of the
- 1:30:16Speaker 1: female winner. Okay for thirty day. You don't want to
- 1:30:20Speaker 1: do sixty this year. Thirty is gonna be cool because
- 1:30:22Speaker 1: we got another surprise coming up right after we do this. Okay,
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: So the thirty Day Challenge two thousand dollars to the
- 1:30:29Speaker 1: mail winner, two thousand dollars to the female winner. Right,

- 1:31:10Speaker 1: before then after you have people that have lost sixty pounds,
- 1:31:14Speaker 1: twenty five pounds. You know, we've been doing that, as
- 1:31:18Speaker 1: I said, over eight years, and we've gotten fantastic resolves.
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: They look great, That's absolutely the truth. They look great. Yeah,
- 1:31:26Speaker 1: and we know what we're doing. This is no artificial
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: flavor the calum We know what we're doing it right well, Lee,

- 1:31:49Speaker 1: God you're listening to Steve Morning Show. All right, here
- 1:31:57Speaker 1: we go, last break of the day. Just one more things.
- 1:32:00Speaker 1: Even brought his closing remarks back for two. What are
- 1:32:03Speaker 1: you gonna talk about today? Still? You know what? I
- 1:32:06Speaker 1: just want to remind people because it's it's a tough
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: thing to cut people out your life. It's a tough
- 1:32:12Speaker 1: decision for people to make because the average person, uh,
- 1:32:18Speaker 1: you know, that's a positive nature. They like positive things
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: around them, positive energy, and it it's difficult when you,
- 1:32:25Speaker 1: as a positive or decent or caring person, has to
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: be faced with the decision to cut somebody out your life.
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: And I've had to do it many times, and I'm
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: faced with the decision again even this stage of my life.
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: That are people who I really should not have around
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: me now. Because I have a sense of guilt, I
- 1:32:47Speaker 1: continue to keep them. You know, I come up with
- 1:32:50Speaker 1: excuses for them. You know what they're gonna do. You
- 1:32:55Speaker 1: know if they not here? What would they do? If
- 1:32:58Speaker 1: if if I remove them? What happens to them? Well,
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: I mean that's because you're carrying person. But can I
- 1:33:06Speaker 1: tell you how much that ain't your business? H It's
- 1:33:10Speaker 1: really really not. It's not your business, nor should you
- 1:33:15Speaker 1: make it yours, because what will happen is if you
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: guilt yourself into holding on to this person, you will
- 1:33:24Speaker 1: continue to possess that nagging, gnawing feeling that you have
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: every time you around them because they actually bring no
- 1:33:34Speaker 1: real value to you. Oh they bring you a lot
- 1:33:37Speaker 1: of promises. Oh, they bring you a lot of Oh man,
- 1:33:42Speaker 1: this is man. I got something big I'm working on.
- 1:33:45Speaker 1: Oh you hear that all the time? Or I shall
- 1:33:48Speaker 1: appreciate you. Lord, I don't know where I be without you.
- 1:33:53Speaker 1: You've been. You've been such a blessing to me. You
- 1:33:56Speaker 1: know you're gonna get it all kinds of ways, and
- 1:33:59Speaker 1: that makes you feel even worse about the inevitable decision
- 1:34:03Speaker 1: that you know you have to make. But let me
- 1:34:07Speaker 1: help y'all understand something right here. People can be manipulative.
- 1:34:13Speaker 1: People can be very, very manipulative. And when a person
- 1:34:17Speaker 1: know they're getting over on you, they say the things
- 1:34:20Speaker 1: because they know you're a decent person, so they say
- 1:34:23Speaker 1: the things to you to keep in the forefront of
- 1:34:26Speaker 1: your mind and how decent you are. God, bless you.
- 1:34:29Speaker 1: You've been a blessing to me. Lord, I don't know
- 1:34:32Speaker 1: what I do without you. I thank God for people
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: like you. Well, when do I get to thank God
- 1:34:38Speaker 1: for you? When do you become such a blessing to me?
- 1:34:44Speaker 1: When at the point in this relationship where every relationship
- 1:34:49Speaker 1: should be give and take, when do I get to
- 1:34:52Speaker 1: take something out? Because right now, all I'm doing is given.
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: I'm telling you, y'all, I know how you're feeling about
- 1:34:59Speaker 1: cutting these people about your life, but you have got
- 1:35:01Speaker 1: to to make this year a better year for you.
- 1:35:06Speaker 1: Because if there as a person in your life that's
- 1:35:08Speaker 1: just on the receiving end of your friendship and give
- 1:35:12Speaker 1: you nothing in return, they are on the receiving end
- 1:35:15Speaker 1: of your paycheck and give you nothing in the return.
- 1:35:18Speaker 1: They are receiving end of all your goodness and favors
- 1:35:21Speaker 1: and give you no goodness and favors. You no longer
- 1:35:25Speaker 1: have an obligation to that person. You really don't. And
- 1:35:29Speaker 1: I remind you of something that Bishop Jake said. Sometimes
- 1:35:32Speaker 1: you have to let people go so they can be
- 1:35:36Speaker 1: freed up to their own destiny alone, see, because they
- 1:35:40Speaker 1: keep tying their destiny to yours. But see, God didn't
- 1:35:44Speaker 1: give them your destiny. They got their own destiny. You know,
- 1:35:49Speaker 1: unless you're with your wife and your children, them destinies
- 1:35:51Speaker 1: ain't tied to yours. And once your children get a
- 1:35:54Speaker 1: certain age, your destiny don't belong to them no more.
- 1:35:58Speaker 1: They have today, as Marjorie says, their wings work. You
- 1:36:01Speaker 1: gotta let them get out there and get the flapping
- 1:36:04Speaker 1: so they can fly. So in two thousand and eighteen,
- 1:36:10Speaker 1: as you make your list of people who bring you
- 1:36:12Speaker 1: nothing but bad news, they have to go. When you
- 1:36:17Speaker 1: make your list of people who every time they call
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: you they just won't something, they have to go. They
- 1:36:25Speaker 1: have to go because they're slowing you down. They dead wait,
- 1:36:30Speaker 1: they're sitting on the wagon and they ain't pushing. They
- 1:36:32Speaker 1: ain't getting out the wig wagon to remove no rocks
- 1:36:35Speaker 1: and debris out the way. They ain't trying to fill
- 1:36:37Speaker 1: a pothole for you. They don't even repair wagon wheels.
- 1:36:40Speaker 1: They just own your wagon, sitting there, legs up and
- 1:36:45Speaker 1: just chilling you out on a rope, just pulling. You
- 1:36:49Speaker 1: got to get rid of them people. The other people
- 1:36:52Speaker 1: you have to get rid of is sometimey people, because
- 1:36:55Speaker 1: you know what's so hard about some timeing people, because
- 1:36:58Speaker 1: you don't never know when their time gonna be because
- 1:37:01Speaker 1: they's some timey. So sometimes they're cool and sometimes they ain't.
- 1:37:05Speaker 1: And on the days when you need them be cool,
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: that's what that's one of them some days where they are.
- 1:37:10Speaker 1: So now you got on these sometime people in your
- 1:37:13Speaker 1: life and you've been going, well, they're cool over here,
- 1:37:15Speaker 1: but they ain't cool over there. If the people in
- 1:37:17Speaker 1: your life ain't cool everywhere you take them and every
- 1:37:19Speaker 1: time you talk to them, you got to get rid
- 1:37:21Speaker 1: of them too. I'm sorry. Now that's gonna shorten your list,
- 1:37:26Speaker 1: But what good is the list if it ain't a
- 1:37:28Speaker 1: good list? Stop just trying to have a list. It's
- 1:37:33Speaker 1: like people in a bad relationship. So you're gonna stay
- 1:37:35Speaker 1: in the bad relationship just so you can say you're
- 1:37:38Speaker 1: in a relationship. Or will you free yourself so that
- 1:37:42Speaker 1: you can be freed up to your destiny to possibly
- 1:37:45Speaker 1: be in a good relationship. But you're never getting a
- 1:37:48Speaker 1: good relationship if you're gonna stay and sit in the
- 1:37:51Speaker 1: bad relationship which has proven year after year after year
- 1:37:54Speaker 1: to be of no substance and no just no goodness
- 1:37:58Speaker 1: for you. It just nothing for you. But you're gonna
- 1:38:01Speaker 1: stay in it just so you can say you in
- 1:38:03Speaker 1: a relationship. That's crazy, man, that's crazy. So y'all think
- 1:38:08Speaker 1: about it. Those people that you gotta cut loose, You
- 1:38:11Speaker 1: got a tough decision, but you have to do it.
- 1:38:14Speaker 1: God to bless you for it too. And guess what,
- 1:38:16Speaker 1: you have more more free time, you have more money
- 1:38:18Speaker 1: and everything when you let them go and you don't
- 1:38:20Speaker 1: even have to deal with aggravation to them anymore. That's
- 1:38:23Speaker 1: an amazing thing. So it's my clothing remarks. Just want
- 1:38:27Speaker 1: to remind you all that have a great week in
- 1:38:29Speaker 1: everybody all right, Steve good one as usual. I have
- 1:38:33Speaker 1: a closing remarks. They're back. I'm sorry yet. For all
