- 0:15Speaker 1: like the mozing buck bus things. And it cost me
- 0:19Speaker 1: true good at Steve listening to me together for ste
- 0:30Speaker 1: please by, I don't join joining me. You gotta turn,
- 1:24Speaker 1: you gotta turn to turn, got the turnout? Then turn
- 1:46Speaker 1: the water the water. Come come on your bad it
- 2:01Speaker 1: h I sure will. Good morning everybody. You are listening
- 2:06Speaker 1: to the voice, Come on dig me now, one and
- 2:09Speaker 1: only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Okay, I got
- 2:15Speaker 1: something for you today. I'm gonna have a conversation this
- 2:21Speaker 1: morning about my understanding of grace now that I've gotten
- 2:26Speaker 1: older and I've come in to a better understanding of
- 2:29Speaker 1: a lot of things I didn't know about when I
- 2:31Speaker 1: was younger. This is just my interpretation of grace. Now
- 2:38Speaker 1: once again, y'all listen to me. I ain't nobody's pastor,
- 2:42Speaker 1: I ain't nobody's minister. So you know, I'm pretty sure
- 2:45Speaker 1: you can go to church and get a far more
- 2:48Speaker 1: extensive definition of one I'm giving you. I'm just talking
- 2:51Speaker 1: to people. You know. Grace is this thing that God
- 2:57Speaker 1: provides for us and Grace's just things that you get
- 3:03Speaker 1: that's really undeserving, you know. I mean, I look at
- 3:07Speaker 1: my life as it is today. You know. Look, I
- 3:10Speaker 1: work hard and I have faith in God that I
- 3:13Speaker 1: do so things are going to happen in my life.
- 3:16Speaker 1: But the way my life is now, I don't. I don't.
- 3:19Speaker 1: I don't deserve all of this. I don't don't. I
- 3:22Speaker 1: don't look at it that way. I have been the
- 3:24Speaker 1: beneficiary of God's grace. I have aligned myself in a
- 3:30Speaker 1: position to accept whatever grace God has for me, and
- 3:35Speaker 1: it will be far abundant and exceedingly in anything you
- 3:40Speaker 1: could think of. His grace supersedes anything you could possibly imagine.
- 3:46Speaker 1: You know, the goals that I set and the aspirations
- 3:49Speaker 1: that I shoot for, and the things that I have
- 3:51Speaker 1: on my dream board. I have the faith that God
- 3:53Speaker 1: will give it to me. But what He does with grace,
- 3:56Speaker 1: he gives you far more than that. He gives you
- 3:59Speaker 1: what He he has for you, not what you can see.
- 4:02Speaker 1: You can't see all He has for you. It's impossible.
- 4:06Speaker 1: Who are you? How can you possibly imagine what he
- 4:09Speaker 1: can imagine? How can you possibly think? How he can think?
- 4:12Speaker 1: How how can you possibly do what he can do.
- 4:14Speaker 1: How can it be that isn't a single mind living
- 4:18Speaker 1: or a collection of minds that could have thought of earth?
- 4:23Speaker 1: What in your wildest imagination could have made you think
- 4:26Speaker 1: of Earth? The stars, the heavens, the oceans, the galaxy,
- 4:32Speaker 1: the constellations. What in your mind? What in any man's mind?
- 4:37Speaker 1: We can point at it and analyze it, but we
- 4:39Speaker 1: show it couldn't have thought of it. So come on now,
- 4:43Speaker 1: I'm talking about lining yourself up with God's grace, which
- 4:48Speaker 1: he will give to you if you if you want
- 4:51Speaker 1: some of it now. But now his thing about grace,
- 4:53Speaker 1: it can't be bought. If it could, if it could
- 4:56Speaker 1: be bought, I'm telling you I would pour all the
- 5:00Speaker 1: money I have and dump it into grace, because, after
- 5:04Speaker 1: discovering what it is, it's this goodness that God shines
- 5:10Speaker 1: on you simply as a reward of some type for
- 5:15Speaker 1: his love for you and for you attempting for you,
- 5:19Speaker 1: attempting to do right, not because you get it right.
- 5:23Speaker 1: Because if He judged us purely on how we are
- 5:26Speaker 1: the right and wrong of it, we would all be doomed,
- 5:29Speaker 1: all of us, every last one of us, would be doomed,
- 5:35Speaker 1: because we all fall short, we all make mistakes, we
- 5:38Speaker 1: all sin, we all get it wrong from time to time.
- 5:43Speaker 1: Nobody's perfect. Man. Now I understand what my mother was
- 5:47Speaker 1: saying about cleaning the house. All I want is a
- 5:50Speaker 1: little more grace. All I need is a little more
- 5:53Speaker 1: grace when the last time you ask God for some grace.
- 5:56Speaker 1: I'm not talking to you like I know everything. If
- 6:00Speaker 1: you just benefit from His grace, which you already have,
- 6:04Speaker 1: but if you're not aware of it, you don't know
- 6:06Speaker 1: what's going on. Become aware of grace, Get aware of
- 6:10Speaker 1: the fact that God does things for you simply because
- 6:14Speaker 1: He loves you. He does things for you that you
- 6:16Speaker 1: don't even deserve. Somehow, you just wonder how you just
- 6:19Speaker 1: got over when you didn't even do the things to
- 6:22Speaker 1: get over. Sometimes you don't even know how you got
- 6:26Speaker 1: that job you got when you ain't even really do
- 6:29Speaker 1: the things to get the job. How you end up
- 6:31Speaker 1: where you are, all the education you thought you went
- 6:34Speaker 1: and got it and had, How you end up where
- 6:36Speaker 1: you are today in a much better position than your
- 6:39Speaker 1: education could have ever gotten you. That's grace. How I
- 6:43Speaker 1: get every place I am today. I didn't plan this, man,
- 6:47Speaker 1: If I could have planned my life the way it is.
- 6:49Speaker 1: Don't you know how to have done it? When I
- 6:50Speaker 1: was living in that car? If I knew how to
- 6:52Speaker 1: do it, No, I benefited from his grace. I'm just
- 6:57Speaker 1: a beneficiary of his grace, of his goodness and his mercy.
- 7:03Speaker 1: God's goodness is better than your goodness. God's goodness is
- 7:06Speaker 1: better than your mother's goodness. It's better than your wife's
- 7:10Speaker 1: or your husband or your booze goodness. God's goodness is different.
- 7:15Speaker 1: His goodness man covers some stuff you can't even imagine.
- 7:20Speaker 1: So why are you trying to put your life together
- 7:23Speaker 1: when the last time you asked him for just a
- 7:25Speaker 1: little bit of grace? When have you thought of your
- 7:29Speaker 1: life in terms of the grace that it has already
- 7:33Speaker 1: benefited from? Have you ever done that? Man? Just thought
- 7:36Speaker 1: about you know? You hear songs like my soul looked
- 7:39Speaker 1: back and wonder how I got over. That's grace, That's
- 7:42Speaker 1: all I can call it. Now. Like I said, you
- 7:44Speaker 1: can go at church or somewhere ever you want to,
- 7:46Speaker 1: and ministers that the wind at school to teach this
- 7:49Speaker 1: thing way better than me. I'm just giving you from
- 7:51Speaker 1: a layman standpoint. Man, have you thought about his grace.
- 7:55Speaker 1: Would you not bewailed to be a beneficiary of his grace?
- 7:59Speaker 1: What an not? Now? Check this out. The better you
- 8:03Speaker 1: try to do, the more grace he'll give to you.
- 8:06Speaker 1: And that grace can't be bought, Like I said, it's free.
- 8:10Speaker 1: You can't purchase grace. But the better you try to
- 8:14Speaker 1: become the more the more grace he gets to put
- 8:16Speaker 1: your way. So man, just try, Why don't you just
- 8:21Speaker 1: try to do better? Look, man, quick tip, mind, I'm
- 8:24Speaker 1: gonna start next week. I'm gonna start at the new year. Now.
- 8:26Speaker 1: You now't do that every year, you know the embras
- 8:29Speaker 1: at the new year. I'm eat better at the new year.
- 8:31Speaker 1: I'm I'm gonna gonna get in here and the new year.
- 8:34Speaker 1: If you're gonna do it, you're gonna do it now. Man,
- 8:37Speaker 1: you're gonna do not stop trying to do something, do it,
- 8:42Speaker 1: stop talking about it, do it now. The best way
- 8:45Speaker 1: to benefit from his grace is starting action now in
- 8:50Speaker 1: old w now, right now today, what you're waiting on.
- 8:55Speaker 1: All you're doing is delaying his opportunity to bless you.
- 9:00Speaker 1: You know, man, you know, do you know how many
- 9:02Speaker 1: times we do that? We delay his opportunity to bless
- 9:05Speaker 1: us by not starting now. If you're gonna get healthy,
- 9:09Speaker 1: why don't you starting out now? You're gonna trip a
- 9:11Speaker 1: little bit called the holidays coming. But you ain't got
- 9:14Speaker 1: to eat bad all the time. You could start eating
- 9:16Speaker 1: correct today, you could. You could, and then guess what
- 9:21Speaker 1: that could be? Some grace on the end of that.
- 9:23Speaker 1: I'm just giving you a little cheap analogy. But do
- 9:26Speaker 1: you feel what I'm saying to you? Start thinking in
- 9:29Speaker 1: terms of grace, what He has done for you and
- 9:31Speaker 1: provided for you that you ain't even see coming that
- 9:34Speaker 1: you know, you keep calling them blessings and I got
- 9:36Speaker 1: that a lot of it, and us all it is.
- 9:38Speaker 1: But man, have you thought about the stuff that didn't
- 9:40Speaker 1: happen to you? You can't account for I. For me,
- 9:45Speaker 1: that's been grace and I'm beneficiary of it. And that's
- 9:48Speaker 1: available to everybody that won'ts su Next time you're talking
- 9:52Speaker 1: to him, just check in with grace. See what that is.
- 9:54Speaker 1: That's that's better than money. You're listening show, ladies and gentlemen,
- 10:03Speaker 1: boys and girls, people from all around the world. You
- 10:06Speaker 1: are listening to the bad morning show in the world.

- 11:01Speaker 1: I might just spending to win. That's not important, Jay,
- 11:06Speaker 1: I was talking about what I want. What was she doing? Dollars?
- 11:12Speaker 1: I think it was the dollar slot, Steve dollar slot,
- 11:15Speaker 1: twenty five dollars dollars. Well, you know she wanted twenty
- 11:20Speaker 1: five dollars. It hit. But as soon as you actually,
- 11:23Speaker 1: let's get it right, I actually won twenty seven dollars,
- 11:26Speaker 1: Thank you, Shelly. Twenty seven dollars on that's a lot
- 11:29Speaker 1: of money at a dollar I think it was. It
- 11:32Speaker 1: was a quarter shorters, Yeah, okay, now I'll get a
- 11:37Speaker 1: gambling so am I? Baby? Made no sense what you
- 11:41Speaker 1: had seen on the dollar slot. Baby, that black seventeen
- 11:50Speaker 1: hit three times? Baby, I was disgreement. Ye, cal Yes,
- 11:58Speaker 1: Steve back seventeen hit three times, three times, the same
- 12:03Speaker 1: dealer spinning that ball, baby, three, How bout how many
- 12:07Speaker 1: spins did you see it in the three times? Let
- 12:09Speaker 1: me see maybe about thirteen fourteen spins? Yeah, it was nice, baby.
- 12:17Speaker 1: I was in that screaming, yes, I'll be up on thirteen.
- 12:23Speaker 1: I'm all up anymore. She just wanted to tell us
- 12:27Speaker 1: how much she wont how much I want? What? Okay?
- 12:31Speaker 1: Seven were talking about? Good? Yeah, Junior, get that light
- 12:42Speaker 1: build money? Baby, Yes, how much? How much you spend?
- 12:49Speaker 1: I don't know. He's not a game. I'm not. Don't worry.
- 12:56Speaker 1: Let me ask my own damn question. But let me
- 12:59Speaker 1: the bulls of the wind. Damn. That just sends you
- 13:07Speaker 1: to return. That's what I'm trying to do. Yeah, I
- 13:10Speaker 1: spent one hundred dollars, y'all was on that same black
- 13:16Speaker 1: seven two? Yes, and you had hit for seven honey, Yes,
- 13:20Speaker 1: I'll be off today. Yes, yes, it was going down.
- 13:29Speaker 1: What we got for thirty something funny. Three comedians in
- 13:32Speaker 1: the house. I'm sure you guys will come up with something.
- 13:35Speaker 1: We'll be back at thirty two after the hour. That's
- 13:39Speaker 1: why I haven't been saying much. You're listening to all right,
- 13:46Speaker 1: it is time for something funny. And seventy percent of
- 13:50Speaker 1: workers say the thing they love most about the holiday
- 13:53Speaker 1: time in the office is time off, followed by getting
- 13:58Speaker 1: a bonus. Love was also in the survey. Workers say,
- 14:02Speaker 1: right there, let's just address this one at a time,
- 14:06Speaker 1: because I see that there's some smiling going on amongst you. Yeah.
- 14:11Speaker 1: See two things you can't do. What is get time off,
- 14:17Speaker 1: get your same check, get some time off, and get
- 14:21Speaker 1: a damn bonus too. And you need to make up
- 14:24Speaker 1: your mind what you want the bonus. We need a
- 14:29Speaker 1: bonus type effort. Okay, check, So when we give you that,
- 14:35Speaker 1: then the bonus is coming. When you give me what? Yeah,
- 14:41Speaker 1: when do we know we're working at bonus speeds? Well,
- 14:44Speaker 1: first of all, let's just get this straight and understood. Okay,
- 14:50Speaker 1: everybody in here get paid. Yeah. Yeah. Hostility though, thank you,
- 14:59Speaker 1: that is yeah, we don't need that. They never talk
- 15:02Speaker 1: to you. What mold do you want outside? Joe Chick Okay,
- 15:08Speaker 1: can I ask a question showcase. The question is this,
- 15:12Speaker 1: we are all working right right now, right now? We'll
- 15:15Speaker 1: all work, Yes, so we put in a good job.
- 15:18Speaker 1: What level do we have to crank this up to
- 15:21Speaker 1: to get bonus? That's why you have to crank it
- 15:24Speaker 1: up to CEO? What a minute, you are already to CEEO.
- 15:30Speaker 1: That position is taken. You got one? Yeah? Can we Well,
- 15:36Speaker 1: do you understand what I'm saying? Get your bonus? Abe?
- 15:43Speaker 1: Let me read on. I'll go in. The survey workers
- 15:48Speaker 1: say they look forward to the office holiday party. Yeah,
- 15:53Speaker 1: uh uh, although although they would give that up to
- 15:57Speaker 1: get a bonus or more vacation. Back to that bonus. Yea.
- 16:06Speaker 1: We stopped Christmas party why because of an incident at
- 16:13Speaker 1: the part. I loud to see old or the company
- 16:17Speaker 1: to stand up and give us speech. He stood and
- 16:22Speaker 1: made the statement that when he prayed, he prayed to
- 16:24Speaker 1: himself that stopped all Christmas parties. The room got quiet,
- 16:32Speaker 1: And this, folks, is not a joke. This actually happened.
- 16:38Speaker 1: He prayed a hoop to myself. That's why that's why
- 16:45Speaker 1: you shut that down. I'm scared because you didn't replace
- 16:49Speaker 1: it with anything. Though we didn't get our bonus or
- 16:52Speaker 1: or more vacation time. He actually cost you all your
- 17:02Speaker 1: extra activities. Now did he did he give us a
- 17:05Speaker 1: bonus before? Or did you give us one? I can't remember? Okay,
- 17:09Speaker 1: na see, okay, But some jobs, some joves give you
- 17:14Speaker 1: like turkeys and give out. We give all our turkeys
- 17:20Speaker 1: away at Thanksgiving to the less fortunate, right right, which
- 17:25Speaker 1: is a great which that makes us less fortunate than
- 17:31Speaker 1: the CEO. Well, the reason you don't qualify for a
- 17:35Speaker 1: bonus is because all of you have multiple supplemental income.
- 17:41Speaker 1: You're causing me. You're not supposed to look at that.
- 17:44Speaker 1: Oh what what do you think? He don't know that?
- 17:48Speaker 1: I ain't I see one of y'all supposed to look
- 17:56Speaker 1: at it? And your concern sir? Yes it is? Yes.
- 18:08Speaker 1: See then everywhere I go, I see one of y'all
- 18:11Speaker 1: every dog go. I ain't got a gig named the
- 18:14Speaker 1: gig I got. I don't see one of y'all. I
- 18:17Speaker 1: can't say nothing now, sue suit line about the only one.
- 18:23Speaker 1: I ain't gotta go down now. And that's another thing.
- 18:28Speaker 1: You won't help with your won't help with your writing,
- 18:30Speaker 1: none of these books, but your wonter damn bone. That's
- 18:35Speaker 1: how you get a bonus. Get involved with everything. I
- 18:38Speaker 1: don't see your help and drive me around. None of
- 18:42Speaker 1: y'all go get me nothing to eat, with the exception
- 18:44Speaker 1: of Monica. Monica the only one try to help me
- 18:48Speaker 1: out at the station. Well, you don't want you don't
- 18:50Speaker 1: want men getting your food, so you don't know that one,
- 18:55Speaker 1: and I would be happy to cook for you, Okay,
- 18:58Speaker 1: I would. We don't want to kill the CEO. So
- 19:03Speaker 1: this is where we want to ask everyone does our office?
- 19:07Speaker 1: Does the office? Does the CEO and everyone? Do you
- 19:10Speaker 1: think they do a good job of bringing holiday cheer
- 19:12Speaker 1: to our workplace? No? Not this office. I'm sorry. This
- 19:19Speaker 1: is why I jump off. I'm gonna say yeah, because
- 19:23Speaker 1: I maybe do a way to ceo go, which y're
- 19:25Speaker 1: not about to do. One of my job this survey. Yeah,
- 19:31Speaker 1: I'll tell you that much. Yeah, it's great cheering here. Okay,
- 19:34Speaker 1: Well what kind of holiday? What kind of holiday related
- 19:37Speaker 1: activities do we have? We don't have the party anymore?
- 19:40Speaker 1: What else? Even though we have to have a Christmas
- 19:46Speaker 1: tree up? Yeah, we have, ah, which has been very helpful.
- 19:51Speaker 1: What is that CEO? That's holiday talk? Just a conversation
- 19:59Speaker 1: holiday talk. We talked about it's really lightning. Cheer everybody up.
- 20:05Speaker 1: We'd be smiling up. Yeah, look sure you that's your bonus.
- 20:12Speaker 1: We need a tree with some ornaments on. Tommy. At
- 20:18Speaker 1: this point, he should be saying you're welcome. I think, yeah,
- 20:23Speaker 1: he should be saying you're welcome for the holiday talk.
- 20:27Speaker 1: So Tommy, take some pictures from me this year, because
- 20:31Speaker 1: I never get to see these pictures. Take some pictures
- 20:34Speaker 1: from me this year, you know, under the tree. Some
- 20:43Speaker 1: shots to my phone from under the tree. Coming out
- 20:47Speaker 1: next it is the nephew. Yeah, we'll run that prank
- 20:50Speaker 1: back right after this. You're listening to show right now,
- 20:56Speaker 1: it's time for you, mister Hollywood, to run that brank back.
- 21:01Speaker 1: What you got na say. We was talking about Thanksgiving earlier.
- 21:03Speaker 1: This is a great run back. Catering mistake, cater mistake.
- 21:08Speaker 1: Let's run it. Hello. Hello, I'm trying to reach Tammy. Please.
- 21:13Speaker 1: This is hey, Tammy. This is a Dexter over here, catering.
- 21:18Speaker 1: We catered your your aunt bridget. Yeah, that's right, that's right,
- 21:22Speaker 1: that's right. How are you doing, Dexter's good to hear
- 21:25Speaker 1: from you. Okay, good, good, I'm going through the paperwork
- 21:30Speaker 1: here and I know we have an invoice for you all.
- 21:33Speaker 1: I wanted to reach out to you. This is not
- 21:35Speaker 1: a bad time, is it. No, this is a good time. Okay.
- 21:38Speaker 1: So first of all, did everybody enjoy everything that we
- 21:41Speaker 1: put out for you guys? Yeah, we had a good
- 21:44Speaker 1: old time. My auntie Bridget she was so happy. There
- 21:50Speaker 1: was no better way to bring in her sixtieth birthday party.
- 21:52Speaker 1: We had a great time. The food was delicious. We
- 21:55Speaker 1: are so grateful, so thank you so much. You and
- 21:57Speaker 1: your team did a bomb job, A good deal, good deal.
- 22:01Speaker 1: I was here when they loaded up the van and everything,
- 22:03Speaker 1: and I wanted to make sure. I wanted to follow
- 22:05Speaker 1: back up. But listen, I'm looking at the paperwork and um,
- 22:08Speaker 1: and we had a little mishap, and I wanted to
- 22:11Speaker 1: let you know that we're not going to um, We're
- 22:14Speaker 1: not gonna charge you guys for the chicken. Uh, because
- 22:20Speaker 1: they made a mistake and they put the wrong pan
- 22:23Speaker 1: on the van and they I noticed that the chicken
- 22:27Speaker 1: was actually still here. So we want to take off
- 22:30Speaker 1: take that off, and I won't that won't be on
- 22:32Speaker 1: the on the envoys. So I'm taking all the entire cross.
- 22:35Speaker 1: The chicken will be completely taken out. Okay, real quick,
- 22:39Speaker 1: let's back up a bit, because we had a lot
- 22:42Speaker 1: of people at the party. We definitely had chicken. Yeah,
- 22:47Speaker 1: I know you had you ordered some mother chicken. But
- 22:49Speaker 1: like I said, the guy put the wrong pan on
- 22:51Speaker 1: the on the van, you know, and actually the mother
- 22:54Speaker 1: chicken was actually still here, uh you know, here to

- 43:25Speaker 1: This is yeah? You, um, you actually came out and
- 43:28Speaker 1: you I think you were here on uh Friday, uh
- 43:32Speaker 1: and you came out and purchased four flat screen televisions
- 43:35Speaker 1: forty forty two inches? Am I correct? Yeah? But what
- 43:40Speaker 1: kind of fun? What I was giving you a call for, Sharon,
- 43:43Speaker 1: is that we got a bit of a problem. Now
- 43:45Speaker 1: when you purchase these actual flat screen televisions on on
- 43:49Speaker 1: Black Friday, so to speak, it seems that we've got them. Um, well,
- 43:54Speaker 1: your your purchase went through successfully, I will admit that,
- 43:58Speaker 1: but there should have been a red flag that have
- 44:00Speaker 1: gone off because we're going back over transactions of the
- 44:04Speaker 1: past two three days here and we're realizing that your
- 44:07Speaker 1: purchase should not have been successful. It should have been
- 44:11Speaker 1: for your credit card is actually not valid at all.
- 44:14Speaker 1: Now now my credit card because oh, we got paid
- 44:17Speaker 1: on Wednesday, so my money was there. Well, actually, ma'am,
- 44:22Speaker 1: I'm what I'm trying to explain to you is that
- 44:24Speaker 1: it is coming up in valid now and we're having
- 44:27Speaker 1: a problem with it. So I wanted to reach out
- 44:29Speaker 1: to you and give you a call and see if
- 44:31Speaker 1: we could probably. You know, it was It was valid
- 44:35Speaker 1: when I was at their Ratis because it went through
- 44:37Speaker 1: I gotta receipt everything impured to that extended warranty on
- 44:40Speaker 1: all FAUM, so it was valid on Friday. I don't
- 44:43Speaker 1: know what's wrong with it today, but it was good then,
- 44:46Speaker 1: and I understand that. I understand that that, you know,
- 44:49Speaker 1: just being at the register and you're purchasing in and
- 44:51Speaker 1: no problems at all happening. That's pretty much the thought
- 44:54Speaker 1: process that you're going to have. What I'm letting you
- 44:56Speaker 1: know is on the on the back part of it
- 44:58Speaker 1: when you came into the store. What we're getting the
- 45:01Speaker 1: day the day after is that it was pretty much invalid.
- 45:05Speaker 1: It wasn't good at all. Your credit card was not
- 45:07Speaker 1: good at all. But you need to call your bank then,
- 45:10Speaker 1: because I don't know what to tell you. You know,
- 45:13Speaker 1: I had the money in there the day I went
- 45:15Speaker 1: about them, and that's it for me. So I don't
- 45:18Speaker 1: know who you need to call, but don't call me
- 45:20Speaker 1: because you know they ain't been in my problem. Okay,
- 45:23Speaker 1: you know what, I'm not gonna I'm not gonna raise
- 45:25Speaker 1: this to be a major problem. We're gonna try to
- 45:27Speaker 1: rectify it and get it taken care of. Yeah, do
- 45:29Speaker 1: what you need to do. Okay, listen, now here's what
- 45:32Speaker 1: we're gonna do. You know what. I wanted to try
- 45:35Speaker 1: to work this out as smoothly as we can. What
- 45:37Speaker 1: I'm gonna have to ask you to do. Can I
- 45:39Speaker 1: get you to come back up to the store and
- 45:42Speaker 1: bring all four televisions with you? Oh no, now you
- 45:46Speaker 1: sure can't. Baby. Look I bought them for TVs. I
- 45:49Speaker 1: have read one of them up this under the tree
- 45:51Speaker 1: from my hus my mama early. She already got the
- 45:55Speaker 1: other TV. We hunted up at home, Sary. We was
- 45:57Speaker 1: watching movies, so it didn't really ain't no way was
- 46:00Speaker 1: gonna bring the folk TVs back. I think you should
- 46:02Speaker 1: go back to Wealth process your credit cards and tell
- 46:05Speaker 1: them that they that I don't know what you're gonna
- 46:07Speaker 1: tell them, but you need to go back to them.
- 46:09Speaker 1: I ain't got time to be running back and forth
- 46:11Speaker 1: to this story. I don't want to. I don't want
- 46:13Speaker 1: us to create a problem here. I don't want to
- 46:15Speaker 1: do that happen that you need to lower your voice. Okay,
- 46:19Speaker 1: but you need to go back to wherever. Do your
- 46:22Speaker 1: credit cards because it went through when I was at
- 46:24Speaker 1: the stoke. Correct. I don't want to it ain't going over.
- 46:27Speaker 1: That's a no. I told you that it went through.

- 50:37Speaker 1: on tight. We got it for you. Here it is
- 50:39Speaker 1: the Strawberry Letter. Thank you. Subject I can't call her
- 50:43Speaker 1: husband daddy. Dear Stephen Shirley. I am a twenty eight
- 50:47Speaker 1: year old female and I have a fifty seven year
- 50:50Speaker 1: old male mentor that I work with. He has given
- 50:53Speaker 1: me great advice and helped me through some obstacles in
- 50:56Speaker 1: my life. This is the first man that has ever
- 50:59Speaker 1: treated me with fact and did not try to sleep
- 51:01Speaker 1: with me. He is like a father figure to me,
- 51:05Speaker 1: and I call myself his play daughter. The only problem
- 51:08Speaker 1: is his wife. He knew that I did not have
- 51:13Speaker 1: the only problem is his wife. He knew that I
- 51:17Speaker 1: did not have any plans for Thanksgiving dinner, so he
- 51:20Speaker 1: invited me to his home. He never talked much about
- 51:23Speaker 1: his wife, but I figured she would be just as
- 51:25Speaker 1: sweet as he is. I took a bottle of moscato
- 51:28Speaker 1: with me as a thank you for the dinner invitation.
- 51:31Speaker 1: His wife greeted me and she was polite, but not
- 51:34Speaker 1: very talkative. She was finishing up dinner while my play
- 51:38Speaker 1: dad and I had a glass of wine and watched
- 51:40Speaker 1: the game in the din. I must have given off
- 51:44Speaker 1: the wrong vibes because his wife seemed to get irritated
- 51:47Speaker 1: with me quickly. It didn't help that I had on
- 51:50Speaker 1: a crop top and leggings and they were dressed nicely.
- 51:53Speaker 1: The next thing I knew, his wife stormed into the
- 51:56Speaker 1: din and started going off. She started with what is
- 52:01Speaker 1: this playdoor to mess? It went downhill from there. My
- 52:04Speaker 1: play dad did not defend me. Instead, he fixed me
- 52:08Speaker 1: a to go plate and asked me to leave. I
- 52:11Speaker 1: was shocked and hurt, and I can't believe he let
- 52:14Speaker 1: her go off on us like that. I think she
- 52:17Speaker 1: owes me an apology. Now he's been distant at work
- 52:20Speaker 1: and I don't know what to say to him. I
- 52:23Speaker 1: hope that we can still have a cool relationship. Stephen Shirley,
- 52:26Speaker 1: how should I handle this? All? Right? Now? Listen? I
- 52:29Speaker 1: know you're young, You're only twenty eight years old, but really,
- 52:32Speaker 1: though you know the letter you wrote made you sound
- 52:36Speaker 1: pretty innocent and sincere in the fact that you feel
- 52:39Speaker 1: he's a play dad to you. I'm gonna give you
- 52:41Speaker 1: the benefit of the of the doubt for that, but
- 52:45Speaker 1: you're going about this in the entire wrong way. Okay,
- 52:49Speaker 1: you don't go to another woman's house dressed like that,
- 52:52Speaker 1: a crop top and leggings. I mean it was dinner,
- 52:55Speaker 1: come on, and not just any dinner. This was Thanksgiving dinner.
- 53:00Speaker 1: People usually dress up, you know, if they invite you out,
- 53:03Speaker 1: you look presentable. Haven't you heard the saying first Impressions
- 53:06Speaker 1: or lasting and all of that. What was his wife
- 53:09Speaker 1: supposed to think? Which you looking like that? I mean,
- 53:12Speaker 1: as my mother would say, fanning around her husband. And
- 53:16Speaker 1: then you go into the din with him to watch
- 53:18Speaker 1: the game, just the two of you. No, no, well,
- 53:23Speaker 1: why weren't you in the kitchen with her, you know,
- 53:25Speaker 1: at least trying to help her out? Why didn't you
- 53:27Speaker 1: offer even if she said no, you stay with her,
- 53:31Speaker 1: you know, And what she did is what a lot
- 53:33Speaker 1: of wives would have done, quite frankly in this situation,
- 53:36Speaker 1: because it just doesn't look right. You guys in the
- 53:39Speaker 1: din watching the game while she she owes you nothing.
- 53:43Speaker 1: She doesn't owe you an apology. You're not going to
- 53:45Speaker 1: get one, so stop looking for that. And you can
- 53:47Speaker 1: believe he got an earful after you left about who
- 53:50Speaker 1: are you? What's his play daughter? Mess? I bet you
- 53:53Speaker 1: are playing with her? You all of that, playing around
- 53:56Speaker 1: all of that. That's why he's been distant at work. Okay,
- 53:59Speaker 1: And he will probably say that way, uh, if he
- 54:02Speaker 1: knows what's good for him. So for your sake, I
- 54:05Speaker 1: hope this was a lesson learned about you know, how
- 54:09Speaker 1: to act around someone's wife. Okay, Steve, Okay, Shirley. Everything
- 54:16Speaker 1: you said ist as a matter of fact. You told
- 54:20Speaker 1: her the correct way to behave you gave her some
- 54:24Speaker 1: good advice clothing wise. Where this said, all right, come on, now,
- 54:32Speaker 1: let's just go and tell the truth. This old ass,
- 54:38Speaker 1: out of shape woman jealous insecure you over here with
- 54:44Speaker 1: the leggings she can't find. No leggings that she can't
- 54:51Speaker 1: well that look like the ones you had, She can't
- 54:55Speaker 1: find it. You know about your ass over here on Thanksgiving?
- 55:00Speaker 1: He like a father figure to you. He fifty seven,
- 55:04Speaker 1: she probably the same age, a little lot of shape.
- 55:08Speaker 1: Ain't what she was mad about it? So now he
- 55:12Speaker 1: invited you to his home. He ain't said nothing about
- 55:17Speaker 1: his wife. Most men don't bring up crazy people. Yeah,
- 55:23Speaker 1: we don't go man and show enjoyed talking to you,
- 55:25Speaker 1: because this helper I live with he would never say that,
- 55:31Speaker 1: but I figured she would be just as sweet as
- 55:34Speaker 1: he was. I took a lobott of moscatto with me
- 55:38Speaker 1: to took a botta moscatto with me as a thank
- 55:41Speaker 1: you for the dinner invitation. Now let me explain something
- 55:45Speaker 1: to you. Hood people ain't really up on moscatto. You
- 55:53Speaker 1: had to take something else. Morgan David Man of Shiv
- 56:02Speaker 1: and the Greens. Harvey's Bristol Creek, Yeah, something like that. Yeah,
- 56:09Speaker 1: some Harvey Bristol cream cold up. Yeah, it takes some spanyarding.
- 56:15Speaker 1: That spanyard. You had to take something that's really cooling,
- 56:21Speaker 1: something where she would go O wine in the box.
- 56:27Speaker 1: You know, you over there with your little uppity cute
- 56:30Speaker 1: ass talking about some bottle of muscato. Don't nobody in
- 56:33Speaker 1: here drake mosquito? Stupid? We never had no mosquito before.
- 56:43Speaker 1: What she gotta be that from gonna bring a bottle
- 56:49Speaker 1: of mosquito with these tight ass pants on. I can't
- 56:54Speaker 1: get a mosquito between them pants and your ass either.
- 56:59Speaker 1: Hang on a right come back from Pert two. I
- 57:02Speaker 1: think at twenty three after the hour, the subject is
- 57:05Speaker 1: I can't call her husband daddy right after this. You're listening,
- 57:12Speaker 1: all right? Come on, Steve, Let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 57:15Speaker 1: Subject attitude. This letter is about nasty attitude from a
- 57:21Speaker 1: certain woman. And I'm just trying to draw attention to
- 57:24Speaker 1: what I think this attitude. Young girl still got it
- 57:30Speaker 1: going on, still still sitting up old and lady at
- 57:34Speaker 1: the house. Everything to fail, So don't get mad at
- 57:39Speaker 1: me because I'm in here giving you another angle. This
- 57:42Speaker 1: is an angle of a strawberry letter that I'm doing.
- 57:45Speaker 1: My mama was a full figured woman, so that ain't
- 57:48Speaker 1: what this is about. I love my mama before I
- 57:50Speaker 1: loved anybody. This is about this evil he for right
- 57:53Speaker 1: here because this lady thought that he was gonna be
- 57:59Speaker 1: sweet jest like her play daddy chief in the be
- 58:02Speaker 1: your play mama here. The only problem his wife had
- 58:07Speaker 1: in fighted y'all the Thanksgiving dinner he did because he
- 58:11Speaker 1: never talked about his wife, because he's scared of them.
- 58:15Speaker 1: He lived fifth. Why would you bring that up? Why
- 58:18Speaker 1: is he afraid of his Wife's called something wrong with him.
- 58:24Speaker 1: She's been sliding off as the years go back. She's
- 58:27Speaker 1: only fifty seven. Seed. You've seen some fifty seven year olds,
- 58:31Speaker 1: and look eighty. You seen a lot of fifty seven
- 58:37Speaker 1: year olds, Look seventy. I think that's the case. I
- 58:41Speaker 1: took a battle of moscato over there. That's way too
- 58:45Speaker 1: bushehood people here. She come in here with this bottle
- 58:50Speaker 1: of mosquito, Scott, moscato. Ain't nobody bought you no damn
- 58:57Speaker 1: bottle of mosquitos? She thinking all the wine. She could
- 59:03Speaker 1: have had any green bawl the coat, could have bought
- 59:09Speaker 1: a foty of Mickey's All up and you can set
- 59:11Speaker 1: up here, and bought this cheap musquito. His wife greeted me.
- 59:17Speaker 1: She was polite, but not very talkative. She was finishing
- 59:21Speaker 1: up dinner while my play Dann and I had a
- 59:25Speaker 1: glass of wine and watched the game. And it did
- 59:27Speaker 1: you know, we don't watch the game to after we eat.
- 59:32Speaker 1: And you have got a glass of wine and that
- 59:34Speaker 1: watching the game. She adn't that finishing up dinner. She
- 59:38Speaker 1: was sitting there at the table eating another plate. This
- 59:42Speaker 1: is my husband, herman know I had three servings, three servings.
- 59:49Speaker 1: Now he didn't took your skin ass in there watching
- 59:51Speaker 1: the damn game. Leggings and she leggings and a crop top.
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: Tell me where her belly was out. She's sitting up
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: in there and got a housecoat on from Walmart. Than yeah,
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: that you just slide over your head. It's a one piece.
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: Sometimes it's a tent. Now you're not sitting up with
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: your play. Dad had a glass of wine watching the
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: game in the den, just the two of them. But
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: they ended then they weren't in the bedroom. They ended
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: damn den. Then she said I must have given off
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: the wrong vibe them tight an pass you damn right,
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: because she's sitting over there with a pair of dockers
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: on looking jet light leggings. I she said they were
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: dressed nicely. She said, I had on a crop topping
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: leggings and they were dressed nicely. Okay, Because his wife
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: seemed to get irritated with me quickly. It didn't help
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: that I had on a crop top and some leggings.
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: They were dressed nicely. Thing I know. She started to
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: the den and going off. She stayed with what is
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: this play? Daughter? Mess? Yes, she didn't, and it went
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: down What is this play? Daughter? Sugar Honey? Iced team
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: sugar honey, iced tea. You ain't no damn played daughter
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: sitting up in there with your own ass playing. It
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: went downhill from there, your play. Dad did not defend me.
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: He can't can't take her for you in her house
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: Tilda and came up in here, raising hell, what's her name? Tilda?
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: Tilda Tilling came in here, damn. Then then instead he
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: fixed me to go play and ask me to leave
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: right there. I told you the food with Finnish. He
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: didn't got some fall and made her playing baby, baby,
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: you're gonna gonna go now. I was shocked and hurt
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: because she invited her to dinner. Man, everybody take it
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: to go plate something to remember the date by. I
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: was shocked and hurt and can't believe he let her
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: go off on on on us like that. Wait a minute, no, no,
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: it was you. He can't stop at What you cannot
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: do is defending another woman to your wife. I think
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: she owes me an apology, and where you think she's
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: gonna give you this apology because you're betting I take
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: your heads back over there, because all this was was
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: a warning shot. You just sat that long enough you'd
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: been you'd have been on the news. You'd have been
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: on the ten o'clock news that night. This is Houston
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: letter right here. Now. He'd been distant at work, told
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: you he was scared of him, And I don't know
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: what to say to him. You can't say nothing to him.
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: I hope we can still have a cool relationship. That's
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: over you, Stephen Sherley, How should I handle this handling
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: like it's over? Let me tell you you better not
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: take your ass back over there like a crop top
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: and leggings. For sure, you can go over there in
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: the choir room. We get that same ass and some
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: doctors immediately right now, don't go back over the time
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: about she owe you an apology. She ain't finn apologize.
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: I've very rarely ever seen old black people apologize in
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: their house. Now, my mama got mad and my daddy
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: one time said slick telling tell her you sigh, I
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: ain't telling the sugar sugarhunt she want to hear apology.
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: You can gonna say two damns, but I ain't finishing. Look,
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: we gotta get out of here. Steve, how you asked me?
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: No sugar hunting? Like? Please email us or instag got

- 1:06:39Speaker 1: and the person I'm talking about it is Jake want
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: y'all know wow, Just won't try. You know we agreed
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: not to bring that up. We agree to agree that
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: same time we agreed that you would not both for y'all.
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: Come on, I think you agree with both of y'all.
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: Both y'all sick ass niece, some women lady something to do,
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: y'all waking up by y'all shirt on you? Why is
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: ll y'all issues ain't even real? I mean that fault?
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: We agree? All right? Thank you? Ju here we get
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: it now. You're listening to show. All right, So Steve,
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: here's a question for you. Since you're the CLO, the
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: chief love officer. All right, how long do you think
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: it takes before couples, you know, have the talk about
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: how to label their relationship? And I'm asking you that
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: because a new study, this is according to a new study, uh,
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: it says that it takes on average six weeks to
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: have what, um, you know, what we are talking and
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: to label the relationship. Well, you know when you have
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: to talk about your relationship and putting labels on where
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: are we going? Where? You know, what are we doing?
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: You know, what are we doing? Should have it at
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: is a restaurant? No? No, no, no no, I said,
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: you know, like when when and the what time in
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: the relationship should we have it? I think ninety days? Okay,
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: I think for a woman's sake, I think a woman
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: has to get a determination, get some type of idea
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: of where this is going. Okay, when she finds that out,
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: just give it up because that's ninety days. Well, you
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: know you don't have to do it as a guy
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: a minium mighty, don't mean give it up, but go ahead,
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: but you know, um, ninety days. You should have an
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: idea where it's going. You have every right to know
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: and ask a man what it is its head. Okay,
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: another question, Steve, how should they bring it up? How
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: should you broach that subjectin no damn text messages for
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: you know? You know, if a woman is curious about
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: what the relationship is, she got to bring it up.
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: If a man wants it to find it, he needs
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: to bring it. But and how should they do that?
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: That was my original? Hey, where we're going? Just right
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: out with it? I said, I where we're going? What
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: is all this? What we're doing? In that tone? No,
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: but that's the man, because that can't be the woman. Well, hello, wait,
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: surely don't rush pass that. Wait, basement could be I'm
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: just asking too, though, Steve, don't you think that? I
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: don't know for women sometimes they might feel it's kind
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: of awkward or they don't know how to do that,
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: to just come right out with it and say, Hey,
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: where we going with this relationship? What are we? Yeah?
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: That you just saying come right on out with it? Well,
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: I mean, you know it's you could try to like
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: round about So can I ask you a question? Yeah,
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: my girlfriends are starting to ask me what type of
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: relationship is this? What should I say? Okay? You know
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: what should I be saying to people? And let him
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: give you an day? Yeah that's what that's now, that's
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: what I wanted to know. Yeah, how that's what I
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: figured to me. But that's good, clo, that's good. So
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: wait like ninety days to even bring up the talk
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: and kind of ease into it. You're saying, kind of
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: ease into it, right, ninety days, ladies, you have every
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: right to be able to say, okay, so what do
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: we have? Especially if ninety days you start passing out
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: that cookie. There's no reason for you to pass out
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: the cookie and not understand what it is. Okay, you know,
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: if we if we're in a committed relationship, you should
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: know that. I'd want to know that before I passed
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: out the cookie. Yeah, right? Is this a monogamous relationship?
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: Are we committed? Exclusive? Are we exclusive? What is it?
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: I need to know? Okay? You know that makes sense,
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: don't Oh? Yes, yes, yes? And then you say when
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: you want to bring the subject up, you kind of
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: ease into it, you know, just slide it to him,
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: you know what I mean? Hey, look, now we've been
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: dating for a while, and my girlfriends and co workers
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: are starting to ask me what is this we have? So,
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: I mean, how would you like for me to address
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: you or describe you what I'm talking to other people,
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: you know, kind of put it on them a little bit. Yeah,
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: and what and what should the woman say if the
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: man asked her? Or will a man ask her that question?
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, of course dudes they want to know.
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: And what should the woman say? You know the truth?
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: I mean, you know, a guy could say, hey, baby,
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: look we've been at this for a little while. Are
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: we exclusive or no? And then if it's exclusive, you
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: gotta tell him yes. And if it's not thing, you
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: just got to say, hey, no, it's not really exclude.
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: I'm seeing some other people. Okay, all right, well, thank
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: you exactly, Thank you. See Elo, We'll be back with

- 1:17:26Speaker 1: all right, Steve thank you. Coming up, last break of
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: the day on this Friday. It's been a good day,
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: it's been a good week. We'll be back with Steve
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: and his closing remarks right after this at forty nine
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: after the hour you're listening show. All right, Steve, we've
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: come to the end of the road for this week.
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: This is our last break of the day on this Friday.
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: Leave us with some closing remarks. Please, you know something, man,
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: I'm not gonna take long to tell you this, but
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: what's the old say that the grass is always greener
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: on the other side. So when you hear that, what
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: they're saying is almost like a warning to people be
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: careful because it always appears that the grass is greener
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: on the other side. And so many people spending their
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: life standing at the fence looking at somebody else's grass
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: and then acknowledging the fact that they grass is greener.
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: It causes you to do nothing about your own yard.
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: And then some people have the audacity, and you see
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: it on the internet all the time that if they
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: look over there and your grass is greener, they try
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: to kill the grass or throw some weeds in it.
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: But you know what I come away with I don't
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: worry about that, because here's what I know. I'm too
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: busy working on my own grass to notice if yours
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: is greener. That's really the truth. I'm really so busy
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: working on my own grass that I don't have time
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: to notice if yours is greener. Because if it is greener,
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: let's suppose your grass is greener, why can't mind be
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: just as green. I ain't saying we're gonna have the
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: same yard. We're just talking about the color of the
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: grass that's in your yard. You don't have to have
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: the same size house I got. You ain't got to
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: have the same size house Ed ain't got. You ain't
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: got to have the same size house Oprah got. You
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: ain't gonna have the same size yard they got. But
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: if you take care of your business, you can and
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: have grass just as green as everybody else. If you
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: just handle your business. The gold in life is to
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: get your grass to be as green as it can.
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: So when you go outside to pick your crops, it
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: got some fruit to bath. And God will always supply
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: your needs. So even though it may look like somebody
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: got made more fruit and they orchard, let me tell
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: you something. If you can't if you got an orchard
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: full of apple tree, a thousand apple trees, and I
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: got one apple tree in my yard, but you got
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: a thousand apple trees in your yard. When it's time
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: to need, how many apples can you eat? Let's say
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: you eat apple six apples, that make you fool. My
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: one tree got six apples on it, so we both fool.
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: See at one point in time, you're gonna have to
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: get content with where you are in your process of
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: the journey. Stop looking at everybody grass, Stop looking at
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: everybody orchard. They grass greener than mind, They got more
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: apple trees than mind. Hey man, eat apples off your tree.
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: You might find out that you have enough. But if
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: you could wear and counting mind, you're gonna mess around
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: and let worms get on yours. I'm too busy working
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: on my own grass to even notice that your grass
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: is greener. Change your commitment to everybody else and from
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: everybody else's business, Change your commitment to your business. If
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: you the time you spend worried about them, looking at them,
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: talking about them, if you took that same amount of
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: time and spend it on yourself, you have any idea
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: what you could accomplish. That's why haters man in so
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: much trouble. Man, you don't even understand. Let people hate
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: all they want. They tending to too many other people's business.
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: Don't get in the hate business. It serves nobody. And
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: that's another thing. Somebody asked me how to I deal
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: with my haters. I keep all my haters in my classroom.
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: I just got them watching me because that's all they
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: can do. They can't stop nothing God has for me.
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: They can't take away one blessing God gives me. They
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: can't do nothing to me. You can't bring no harm
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: on me that I won't be able to survive. I'm
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: not saying that it don't bother me sometime. I don't.
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: I'm not saying that people don't attack me sometime. But
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: when you get through attacking me, I'm a weather you'll storm.
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: I'm Isaiah forty three one and two. I can walk
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: through the rivers and not be overturned. The waters will
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: not overtake me. I can walk through the fire and
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: not be burned, nor were kindling set upon my clothing.
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: I haven't been through some fiery situations and came out
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: on the other side. And if that was no kindling.
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: There was no signs that I was even in a fire. Now,
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: understand something, but that scripture does not say that when
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: you walk through the fire that it ain't gonna be
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: ungodly hot day. Now, It's been plenty hot for me
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: on plenty of days, many occasions. Oh, I'd have made
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: some mistakes in front of the world before I didn't.
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: Had to deal with some stuff. But when I got
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: through what no signs that I was ever in a fire.
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: That's the God, I said. I have no concern about
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: what people say they're gonna do to me. I have
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: no concern about how green your grass is. On the
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: other side, I have no concern about how many apple
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: trees in your orchard. I'm too busy tending to my
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: own grass to even notice that yours is greener. And
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: if I do look over that, congratulations on your beautiful green,
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: I'm getting mine there too. That's all it is. Fix
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: your attitude, change your attitude, you'll change your altitude. Those
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: are my closing remarks. Surely drop the MIC's that was good.
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: That was good. Yeah, take it home for I have
