- 0:01Speaker 1: If you missed yesterday's show, you need to go back
- 0:04Speaker 1: and listen to the podcast, because what was a big
- 0:08Speaker 1: story then has now gone into a nuclear bomb today.
- 0:13Speaker 1: Senator Chuck Grassley, the Republican from Iowa, has now released
- 0:18Speaker 1: one hundred and ninety seven subpoenas that the Biden administration's
- 0:23Speaker 1: FBI used to seek testimony and documents related to hundreds
- 0:30Speaker 1: of Republicans and GOP entities as part of the bureau's
- 0:35Speaker 1: Arctic Frost probe, the prosecutor to former Special Council Jack
- 0:40Speaker 1: Smith's election investigation, which now is in essence a hit list,
- 0:46Speaker 1: a target list, a black book of influential conservatives and
- 0:51Speaker 1: members of Congress who they wanted to target. Arctic Frost
- 0:56Speaker 1: was the vehicle by which partisan FBI agent Chuck Grassey
- 1:01Speaker 1: said and DJ prosecutors could improperly investigate the entire Republican
- 1:08Speaker 1: political apparatus. I want you to hear exactly what Chuck
- 1:13Speaker 1: Grassey had to say at this press conference. It is shocking,
- 1:17Speaker 1: and now we know just how corrupt the Democratic Party
- 1:20Speaker 1: was under the Biden administration.
- 1:23Speaker 2: A little bit of history before I get to what
- 1:26Speaker 2: we're releasing today. I started the investigation into Arctic Frost
- 1:35Speaker 2: July twenty twenty two, based on whistleblower disclosures. Based on
- 1:42Speaker 2: these disclosures, we know that weaponize taxpayer funded agents and
- 1:48Speaker 2: prosecutors advanced the investigation. As Artic Frost advanced. Ninety two
- 1:56Speaker 2: Republican organizations or individuals were targeted, not just Trump, and
- 2:05Speaker 2: they were added to its scope and author of that
- 2:11Speaker 2: targeting list with special agent Washin Walter Jaredino. He's the
- 2:18Speaker 2: same weaponized agent who was involved in other cases against Republicans,
- 2:25Speaker 2: including Peter Navarro. We've learned Jack Smith secretly obtained phone
- 2:35Speaker 2: record data from at least eight senators and one Congressman.
- 2:41Speaker 2: I've recently been informed by Verizon that at least eleven
- 2:44Speaker 2: members with Verizon accounts were affected. That includes a hardline
- 2:53Speaker 2: for Senator Cruz's office and a staffer sell phone for
- 2:58Speaker 2: former Senator Leffler At and T inform me. They challenged
- 3:06Speaker 2: the legal basis for Jack Smith's efforts and Smith back down.
- 3:13Speaker 2: So today we're making public new records that I've attained
- 3:19Speaker 2: through legally protected whistleblower disclosures. One hundred and ninety seven
- 3:26Speaker 2: subpoenas were issued by Jack Smith. And his team. These
- 3:33Speaker 2: subpoenas were issued to thirty four individuals and one hundred
- 3:39Speaker 2: and sixty three businesses, including financial institutions, and one of
- 3:46Speaker 2: the points of contact on many of these subpoenas was
- 3:50Speaker 2: that person I previously named Special Agent, Walter gear Dino.
- 3:56Speaker 2: The subpoena requested records and communications related to over four
- 4:03Speaker 2: hundred and thirty individual and organizations, all of them appear
- 4:08Speaker 2: to be aimed at Republicans. A subpoena to Event Strategies
- 4:15Speaker 2: requested records relating to Turning Point USA and the Republican
- 4:22Speaker 2: Attorney General's Association. One subpoena to Apple sought records relating
- 4:29Speaker 2: to Trump and the January sixth prison choir. Earlier this year,
- 4:35Speaker 2: I obtained emails between and among J. P. Cooney, one
- 4:41Speaker 2: of Jack Smith's prosecutors. That email exchange was March twenty
- 4:47Speaker 2: twenty three about a partisan news article on January six
- 4:53Speaker 2: and this is what Cooney said in the email. Can
- 4:57Speaker 2: we do some work to nail down Trump's role in this,
- 5:02Speaker 2: perhaps with the same process on Ed Henry's LLCD.
- 5:10Speaker 1: You look at what Chuck Grassley is talking about here,
- 5:13Speaker 1: and it's truly incredible. What he's describing is the Democratic
- 5:17Speaker 1: Party saying we are going to use our DOJ the FBI,
- 5:22Speaker 1: thisa whoever we need to open up investigations and then
- 5:26Speaker 1: go out and attack our political enemies. Now, this is
- 5:30Speaker 1: a direct contradictory statement of facts to what Smith had
- 5:35Speaker 1: said publicly. This was clearly a phishing expedition. Grassley went
- 5:42Speaker 1: on to say, standing alongside Grassley center Ron Johnson, he
- 5:46Speaker 1: called the subpoenas nothing short of a Biden administration enemies list.
- 5:51Speaker 1: Take a listen to Johnson in his own words.
- 5:55Speaker 3: I think it's important to note that the records that
- 5:58Speaker 3: we are now making public in and for personal transparency,
- 6:02Speaker 3: we're not obtained from the agency. They are obtained through
- 6:07Speaker 3: a whistleblower. So from our first point is we need
- 6:11Speaker 3: more whistle blowers. We need people men and women inside
- 6:14Speaker 3: these agencies who have integrity, who want to see the
- 6:17Speaker 3: integrity and credibility of the Department Justice of the FBI.
- 6:21Speaker 3: We stored come forward because right now I think cash
- 6:25Speaker 3: for tail Pam BONDI are overwhelmed by all the messages
- 6:29Speaker 3: they're trying to clean up. The agencies have been lost
- 6:32Speaker 3: a lot of personnel, people simply couldn't serve the Trump administration.
- 6:37Speaker 3: It's hard to hire people because of all the lawfare,
- 6:40Speaker 3: and they're still partisan actors burrowed in trying to sabotage
- 6:43Speaker 3: their efforts.
- 6:45Speaker 4: So we need whistleblowers.
- 6:46Speaker 3: The reason they come forward to Chairman Grassley is because
- 6:49Speaker 3: he's been such a champion of whistleblowers.
- 6:51Speaker 4: So again I thank him for that. What is revealed in.
- 6:55Speaker 3: Those seventeen hundred pages of documents, in those one hundred
- 6:58Speaker 3: and ninety seven subpoenas is nothing short of a Biden
- 7:02Speaker 3: administration enemies list. You know, I'm old enough to understand
- 7:07Speaker 3: how toxic a term that was under Richard Nixon. This
- 7:11Speaker 3: is far worse, far worse, orders the magnitude worse. People
- 7:16Speaker 3: need to understand how politicized the bidenministration turned all these agencies.
- 7:21Speaker 3: And again, the best way to describe President Biden's attitude
- 7:26Speaker 3: his exact quotes. He thought basically half America were domestic terrorists.
- 7:31Speaker 3: In September twenty twenty two, in front of Indpenn's Hall,
- 7:33Speaker 3: he said Donald Trump and the Magan Republicans represent an
- 7:36Speaker 3: extremism that threatens the very foundation of our republic. A
- 7:41Speaker 3: year later, in New York City. Donald Trump is mega
- 7:43Speaker 3: Republicans are determined to destroy American democracy. Now, nothing could
- 7:48Speaker 3: be further from the truth. That is a level of
- 7:51Speaker 3: paranoia that's actually astonishing. But the fact that thirty eight
- 7:58Speaker 3: Wisconsinites are on that enemy's list, I know most of
- 8:04Speaker 3: those individuals. They are god fearing, country loving law law,
- 8:08Speaker 3: law enforcement supporting people who want to see America succeed.
- 8:14Speaker 3: The fact that they are on a Biden administration enemies list,
- 8:18Speaker 3: we're targeted by that administration is outrageous.
- 8:23Speaker 4: It should shock every American.
- 8:26Speaker 3: And so I am calling on and I appreciate all
- 8:28Speaker 3: the members of the Juiciary Committee.
- 8:30Speaker 4: We need to get to the bottom of this. We
- 8:32Speaker 4: need to do everything we can to assist Director Patel and.
- 8:38Speaker 3: Ag Bondie in making sure that they have the staff
- 8:43Speaker 3: to take control of these agencies, that they're the heads
- 8:45Speaker 3: of them. I don't think they have the control. I
- 8:48Speaker 3: think they're being sabotaged within. But the American people need
- 8:51Speaker 3: to understand exactly what happened. And again I'm calling on
- 8:55Speaker 3: members of Juiciary Committee to help send a grassy in
- 8:57Speaker 3: myself get to the bottom of this. You can expose
- 9:01Speaker 3: this so this doesn't happen again in America.
- 9:04Speaker 4: This has to end.
- 9:06Speaker 1: You can hear Johnson there obviously very angry about what
- 9:10Speaker 1: he has witnessed and now the data that he has uncovered.
- 9:14Speaker 1: This is a massive abuse of power by the Biden
- 9:17Speaker 1: administration and it attacked anyone they thought was their political enemy.
- 9:23Speaker 1: Did you see that gold just hit an all time
- 9:25Speaker 1: new high of over four thousand dollars an ounce? And
- 9:30Speaker 1: if you hear that and you're like, are you kidding me?
- 9:32Speaker 1: And you're thinking, gosh, I missed my opportunity. Well, I
- 9:35Speaker 1: don't know if you missed your opportunity, But my friends
- 9:38Speaker 1: at Kurt Elliott Precious Metals they can answer that question
- 9:41Speaker 1: for you.
- 9:42Speaker 5: You also may not.
- 9:43Speaker 1: Be paying attention to the incredible gains with silver that
- 9:46Speaker 1: are happening right now as well. And that's why I
- 9:50Speaker 1: trust the guidance of the team at kirk Elliott. In fact,
- 9:53Speaker 1: I literally just got a hundred ounce bar of silver
- 9:57Speaker 1: the other day. And the reason why is because after
- 10:00Speaker 1: I talk to the team at kirk Elliott Precious Metals,
- 10:03Speaker 1: they let me understand exactly where I could have a
- 10:06Speaker 1: big upside in investing in silver. Now, the other part
- 10:10Speaker 1: that I love about them is this They have transparent pricing.
- 10:14Speaker 1: There are a lot of gold companies that you'll hear
- 10:16Speaker 1: about if you listen to talk radio or podcasts or
- 10:19Speaker 1: watch TV, but do they tell you how the pricing
- 10:23Speaker 1: actually works well. At Kirk Elliott they're real simple, just
- 10:27Speaker 1: eight percent when you buy and zero commissions when you sell,
- 10:32Speaker 1: with no hidden fees. Ever, that is the other reason
- 10:35Speaker 1: why I recommend them to all of you. They also
- 10:38Speaker 1: don't sell you quote rare coins or precious coins that
- 10:41Speaker 1: you pay insane markups on and then when you go
- 10:45Speaker 1: to sell them you find out they're really not worth
- 10:47Speaker 1: that much. They are a bollyon only approach. They focus
- 10:51Speaker 1: on investment grade medals, no overpriced collectibles, no gimmicks.
- 10:57Speaker 5: That means you get more gold or silver for.
- 10:59Speaker 1: Your money at fair value when it's time for you
- 11:02Speaker 1: to sell. So if you're ready to find out if
- 11:06Speaker 1: gold and silver is right for you in your portfolio,
- 11:09Speaker 1: then call them and get a plan.
- 11:12Speaker 5: You can visit them at k e PM.
- 11:15Speaker 1: Dot com slash ben that's k e PM dot com
- 11:21Speaker 1: slash ben or seven to zero six oh five thirty
- 11:26Speaker 1: nine hundred at seven two zero six oh five thirty
- 11:30Speaker 1: nine hundred Kirk Elliott Precious Metals online at k e
- 11:35Speaker 1: PM dot com. Johnson is not the only one that
- 11:40Speaker 1: is furious about what they are uncovering. There's also other
- 11:45Speaker 1: members of Congress who were spied upon sitting members of Congress.
- 11:50Speaker 1: One of them was Senator Ted Kruz. And I want
- 11:53Speaker 1: you to hear what Senator Cruz said after he found
- 11:55Speaker 1: out that his office phone in his actual office in
- 11:59Speaker 1: the United State's Senate building was tapped. Why because he
- 12:05Speaker 1: was a Conservative? That was the crime. Take a listen.
- 12:10Speaker 6: Arctic Frost is Joe Biden's Watergate Merrick Garland was a
- 12:16Speaker 6: fundamentally corrupt Attorney General. Jack Smith was a fundamentally corrupt prosecutor.
- 12:24Speaker 6: This was a political enemies list from the beginning, one
- 12:29Speaker 6: hundred and ninety seven subpoenas for four hundred and thirty
- 12:34Speaker 6: Republican entities and individuals. That is an absolute and egregious
- 12:40Speaker 6: abuse of power. The Biden Justice Department signed off on
- 12:46Speaker 6: issuing subpoenas for the phone records of at least nine
- 12:52Speaker 6: US senators, twenty percent of the Republicans in the United
- 12:57Speaker 6: States Senate where the target of this fishing expedition. They
- 13:03Speaker 6: did so in complete contravention of the constitution of separation
- 13:10Speaker 6: of powers, of the Speech and debate clause of free speech,
- 13:15Speaker 6: of basic rights of privacy. This is an executive who
- 13:19Speaker 6: believes it is justified spying on their opponents in the
- 13:23Speaker 6: legislature because they convinced themselves the ends justify the means.
- 13:30Speaker 6: I want to talk to you about one of those subpoenas.
- 13:32Speaker 6: One of those subpoenas went from Jack Smith to AT
- 13:35Speaker 6: and T seeking my cell phone communications. It went to
- 13:40Speaker 6: AT and T, and I actually want to commend AT
- 13:42Speaker 6: and T for doing the right thing. AT and T
- 13:45Speaker 6: is based in Texas. AT and T looked at that subpoena,
- 13:49Speaker 6: and they went to their legal council, and they said,
- 13:52Speaker 6: what should we do with that subpoena? And their legal
- 13:56Speaker 6: council said, you cannot comply because this is protected by
- 13:59Speaker 6: the speech and bait clause of the US Constitution. And
- 14:04Speaker 6: so AT and T declined to comply. Did not hand
- 14:07Speaker 6: over my cell phone records. Now, one might ask, ordinarily
- 14:14Speaker 6: a phone company being asked to hand over the phone
- 14:19Speaker 6: records of a sitting senator would notify that senator. Well,
- 14:22Speaker 6: there was a reason AT and T did not do so.
- 14:26Speaker 6: Accompanying the subpoena was an order which I have in
- 14:31Speaker 6: my hand right here, an order that was signed by
- 14:35Speaker 6: Judge James E.
- 14:37Speaker 7: Bosberg. Now, who is Boseburg?
- 14:39Speaker 6: Boseburg is that radical leftist judge who is out of control,
- 14:44Speaker 6: who has been issuing nationwide injunctions one after the other,
- 14:49Speaker 6: trying to stop President Trump from carrying out his mandate
- 14:52Speaker 6: from the voters. Judge Boseburg issued an order to the
- 14:55Speaker 6: US to AT and T and sign. That order prohibited
- 15:00Speaker 6: AT and T from informing me of this subpoena for
- 15:03Speaker 6: at least one year. And Judge Bosburg gave the basis
- 15:08Speaker 6: for that order. And I'm going to quote from the
- 15:10Speaker 6: order Judge Boseburg signed. The Court finds reasonable grounds to
- 15:16Speaker 6: believe that such disclosure will result in destruction of or
- 15:23Speaker 6: tampering with evidence, intimidation of potential witnesses, and serious jeopardy
- 15:30Speaker 6: to the investigation. That's an order a judge sign. Now,
- 15:33Speaker 6: I can tell you right now there is precisely zero
- 15:37Speaker 6: evidence to conclude that I am likely to destroy or
- 15:43Speaker 6: tamper with evidence or to intimidate potential witnesses, zero evidentiary
- 15:48Speaker 6: basis for that. This order is an abusive power. This
- 15:53Speaker 6: order is a weaponized legal system.
- 15:56Speaker 7: My assumption we don't.
- 15:57Speaker 6: Have the subpoenas that were issued for the other senator,
- 16:00Speaker 6: but my assumption is Judge Boseburg printed these things out
- 16:06Speaker 6: like the placemats at Denny's, one after the other. We
- 16:10Speaker 6: don't know that for a fact, but I feel confident
- 16:13Speaker 6: that he concluded it's likely that Lindsey Graham would destroy evidence,
- 16:16Speaker 6: and Marsha Blackburn would destroy evidence, and Eric Schmidt would
- 16:19Speaker 6: destroy evidence, and Chuck Grassley would destroy evidence. If a
- 16:23Speaker 6: litigant makes a claim for which there is no factual basis,
- 16:26Speaker 6: that litigant is subject to sanctions in federal court. And
- 16:31Speaker 6: if a judge signs an order reaching a factual conclusion
- 16:35Speaker 6: for which there is zero evidence whatsoever, that judge is
- 16:39Speaker 6: abusing his power. I am right now calling on the
- 16:41Speaker 6: House of Representatives to impeach Judge Boseburg. Judge Boseburg put
- 16:47Speaker 6: his robe down, stood up, and said, sign me up
- 16:51Speaker 6: to be part of the partisan vendetta against twenty percent
- 16:57Speaker 6: of the Republicans in the Senate. That is a dare
- 17:00Speaker 6: election of duty and a violation of the judicial oath.
- 17:03Speaker 7: And I want to.
- 17:04Speaker 6: Thank Chairman Grassley and Chairman Johnson for pursuing this tenaciously
- 17:09Speaker 6: like a dog on a bone. We are going to
- 17:12Speaker 6: get the answers of every person who signed off on
- 17:15Speaker 6: this abuse of power, and mark my words, there will
- 17:18Speaker 6: be accountability for these zelots who wanted to corrupt the
- 17:23Speaker 6: Department of Justice and corrupt the judiciary in order to
- 17:27Speaker 6: try to attack their enemy's list. That is unconstitutional, it
- 17:33Speaker 6: is immoral, and it is wrong.
- 17:35Speaker 1: This is Biden's Watergate. I could not agree more with
- 17:38Speaker 1: Senator Cruz when he said that earlier. I couldn't agree
- 17:41Speaker 1: more with Senator Ron Johnson when he called the subpoenas
- 17:43Speaker 1: nothing short of Biden's administration's enemies list. These subpoenas were
- 17:50Speaker 1: non public for a reason. These subpoenas were confidential grand
- 17:55Speaker 1: jury material the Grassy said he obtained through whistle blower disclosures.
- 18:00Speaker 1: They were trying to hide this from the current administration.
- 18:04Speaker 1: The subpoena sought certain communications with media companies as well.
- 18:09Speaker 1: We've now learned that those media companies included Fox News Channel, CBS, Sinclair, Newsmax,
- 18:17Speaker 1: and with members of aids in Congress also being put
- 18:21Speaker 1: under the well phishing expedition. We also know they sought
- 18:26Speaker 1: sweeping financial information from conservative entities as well. Those conservative
- 18:34Speaker 1: entities they wanted to use the federal governments to silence them,
- 18:38Speaker 1: to shut them down. This was literally an enemy's list,
- 18:44Speaker 1: and it was all disguised by the Democratic Party in quiet,
- 18:49Speaker 1: privately to make sure that you and I never found it.
- 18:54Speaker 5: It was also designed.
- 18:55Speaker 1: To make sure that people like Senator Cruz could not
- 18:58Speaker 1: stop it when it was happening. And why did they
- 19:02Speaker 1: not want them to know about it? Why did they
- 19:05Speaker 1: lie and say that, well, these senators who they were
- 19:08Speaker 1: spying on could not be trusted that they might try
- 19:11Speaker 1: to intimidate witnesses with no evidence to back that up.
- 19:15Speaker 1: Because they knew if these senators found out about this,
- 19:19Speaker 1: they would have the legal grounds to stop the Biden
- 19:22Speaker 1: administration immediately. And that is exactly why they said, Okay,
- 19:28Speaker 1: we are done. We will do it in silence, we
- 19:31Speaker 1: will do it quietly. And they were betting on winning
- 19:35Speaker 1: the next election so they'd never be held accountable for
- 19:38Speaker 1: what they just did. And the massive abuse of power
- 19:41Speaker 1: that they were in charge of. This was not legal
- 19:45Speaker 1: in any way. This was corruption in every way. And
- 19:50Speaker 1: now Donald Trump's administration has exposed it because of great
- 19:55Speaker 1: men and women who have risked their careers as whistle
- 19:59Speaker 1: blowers trusting the system. One of the things you heard
- 20:04Speaker 1: there at the very beginning was Senator Grassley and Johnson
- 20:07Speaker 1: talking about we need more whistleblowers to come forward, and
- 20:11Speaker 1: whistleblowers that are witnessing now the protections they're receiving from
- 20:16Speaker 1: the Trump administration are probably a thousand times more likely
- 20:20Speaker 1: to come forward than they would have during the Biden
- 20:23Speaker 1: era when they could clearly see just how corrupt they
- 20:27Speaker 1: were as a administration. One final thing about this, I
- 20:33Speaker 1: expect there is going to be even more bombshells to
- 20:36Speaker 1: come forward, more corruption that will be unearthed. And as
- 20:42Speaker 1: all of this corruption continues to be exposed, the question
- 20:47Speaker 1: now is who will be held accountable for it. Will
- 20:50Speaker 1: keep you updated on that, I can promise you. I
- 20:54Speaker 1: want to get you an update on the government's shutdown
- 20:57Speaker 1: because it's important. This shutdown that at twelve oh one
- 21:01Speaker 1: am on October the first is now over a month long,
- 21:05Speaker 1: and there were different moments where there were well saying
- 21:09Speaker 1: people that thought the shutdown would end. There were many
- 21:11Speaker 1: that believe Democrats are holding out until last week's No
- 21:15Speaker 1: King's rally to then open the government. Their psychological behavior
- 21:21Speaker 1: is well unhinged, and no one really knows what's going
- 21:24Speaker 1: to happen moving forward, even in the Democratic Party. But
- 21:28Speaker 1: we are now on track to become the longest government
- 21:31Speaker 1: shutdown in US history if it continues pass November fourth, Now,
- 21:37Speaker 1: the Senate has voted to reopen the government and Democrats
- 21:41Speaker 1: continue to block them. According to reporting, the Senate has
- 21:45Speaker 1: rejected a bill to reopen the government, a stopgap continuing resolution,
- 21:49Speaker 1: a clean cr that has now happened yet again, the
- 21:54Speaker 1: procedial vote failing fifty one to forty five to advance
- 21:58Speaker 1: the bill, which needs sixty votes. That means Democrats have
- 22:03Speaker 1: to come along to overcome the filibuster. We have also
- 22:08Speaker 1: seen Democrats now celebrating an essence Americans hurting. There have
- 22:13Speaker 1: even been some Democrats and Republicans that have agreed on
- 22:17Speaker 1: allowing for snap benefits to continue. Yet Democrats want this
- 22:22Speaker 1: to be painful. Why because they're hoping the majority of
- 22:25Speaker 1: Americans will be ignorant and just blame Donald Trump for everything. Well,
- 22:31Speaker 1: that brings us to the data Sann's data guru, a
- 22:36Speaker 1: guy by the name of Harry Hitten was caught off
- 22:39Speaker 1: guard to find what he described as a rare bright
- 22:42Speaker 1: spot for Republicans during the government's shutdown. In fact, the
- 22:47Speaker 1: polling numbers have improved for Donald Trump because the American
- 22:51Speaker 1: people are not as stupid as the Democrats were hoping.
- 22:55Speaker 1: Take a listen to what they had to say with
- 22:58Speaker 1: their new poll that has come out and the shock
- 23:00Speaker 1: that actually Trump's numbers have improved and not gone down
- 23:05Speaker 1: during the shutdown.
- 23:06Speaker 8: One thing that might end a shutdown is political pain
- 23:10Speaker 8: if parties start to feel that it's hurting them. So
- 23:12Speaker 8: let's talk about that. Starting with Republicans. How is the
- 23:15Speaker 8: shutdown seem to have affected their political standing?
- 23:18Speaker 9: You might think, given that the Republicans are in charge
- 23:21Speaker 9: of both the House and the Senate, that a government
- 23:23Speaker 9: shutdown might actually hurt the Republican brand, but in fact
- 23:26Speaker 9: it hasn't.
- 23:27Speaker 7: If anything, it's been helped a little bit.
- 23:29Speaker 9: Take a look here the shift in net popularity versus
- 23:31Speaker 9: pre shutdown among the g When we're looking at the
- 23:34Speaker 9: Republican Party overall, that brand actually up two points. That's
- 23:37Speaker 9: within the margin vera. But clearly it hasn't dropped. Come
- 23:39Speaker 9: over this side of the screen. Look at the net
- 23:41Speaker 9: approval ratings for Republicans in Congress. It's actually up five
- 23:45Speaker 9: points since pre shutdown.
- 23:47Speaker 7: So what we're seeing here is the Republican brand in.
- 23:49Speaker 9: Congress has actually improved somewhat compared to where we were
- 23:53Speaker 9: pre shutdown, despite the fact the Republicans control. And that's
- 23:56Speaker 9: the mat that John Thune and Mike Johnson are looking
- 23:58Speaker 9: at is, hey, why should we give electorally speaking when.
- 24:01Speaker 7: Our brand has actually improved.
- 24:02Speaker 8: A little bit Now we say their position is getting
- 24:06Speaker 8: better with whom?
- 24:07Speaker 7: Yeah, okay, with whom?
- 24:08Speaker 9: So I think it's two groups that it's so important
- 24:10Speaker 9: to keep an eye out on it, all right, change
- 24:11Speaker 9: in the Republican congresses net approval rating versus pre shutdown.
- 24:15Speaker 7: It's rallying the base, for sure.
- 24:16Speaker 9: Look at this, the net approval rating up twelve points
- 24:19Speaker 9: versus pre shutdown. But it's not just with the base,
- 24:21Speaker 9: it's also with the middle of the electorate. Look at
- 24:23Speaker 9: this among independents it's up eight points as well. So
- 24:26Speaker 9: we've got a situation here where Republicans with this shutdown
- 24:29Speaker 9: are actually rallying their base.
- 24:31Speaker 7: But it's also something.
- 24:32Speaker 9: That's not hurting them with the folks in the middle
- 24:34Speaker 9: of anything, it's helping them with folks in the mill.
- 24:36Speaker 9: And this is the type of math that if you're
- 24:38Speaker 9: Republicans you like to see, right, because something could rally
- 24:40Speaker 9: the base but alienate those in the middle, or something
- 24:42Speaker 9: could rally those in the middle but alienate the base.
- 24:45Speaker 7: But the truth is we're not seeing that.
- 24:47Speaker 9: What we're seeing is the Republican brand has actually gotten
- 24:50Speaker 9: better among independents, and it's also gotten better among Republicans
- 24:53Speaker 9: as well, that Republican brand.
- 24:55Speaker 7: When it comes to those in Congress.
- 24:56Speaker 9: So again, what's what's the electoral reason that Republicans would
- 24:59Speaker 9: give in at this point?
- 25:00Speaker 8: And Democrats, of course, they have their eyes on the
- 25:02Speaker 8: midterm elections. Yeah, we have elections one week from today,
- 25:05Speaker 8: but what Democrats in Congress are mostly focused on or
- 25:08Speaker 8: one year in one week from today from the mid term.
- 25:10Speaker 8: So how do Democrats how are they positioned right now?
- 25:13Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 25:13Speaker 9: So, I mean, look the general congressional ballot, which traditionally
- 25:16Speaker 9: Democrats have done really well on. And if you look
- 25:18Speaker 9: at this point back when Trump was present the first
- 25:20Speaker 9: time around, Democrats are up eleven points. Look at where
- 25:22Speaker 9: it is now. Democrats are head but they're actually only
- 25:25Speaker 9: up three points. This is, in fact, the worst position
- 25:28Speaker 9: Democrats have been on in a generic ballot at this
- 25:30Speaker 9: point in mid term when there was a Republican president
- 25:32Speaker 9: in the last twenty years. And this is no different
- 25:34Speaker 9: from pre shutdown. So Republicans aren't losing on this metric either.
- 25:38Speaker 9: They become more popular and they're actually in a pretty
- 25:40Speaker 9: good position for them historically when it comes to.
- 25:41Speaker 7: The generic congressional ballot.
- 25:43Speaker 8: This is a concerning number for Democrats.
- 25:44Speaker 9: If you say, this is a concerning number for Democrats
- 25:46Speaker 9: because it's considerably worse than they traditionally do in midterm
- 25:50Speaker 9: elections when there's a Republican president.
- 25:52Speaker 1: Now, if Democrats were sane, they would hear these numbers
- 25:56Speaker 1: from CNN and say, Okay, it's time to end the shutdown.
- 26:00Speaker 5: It's not going in our favor.
- 26:02Speaker 1: But you have to understand that they want this shutdown
- 26:04Speaker 1: to hurt they want small businesses to be destroyed. In fact,
- 26:08Speaker 1: Small Business Administrator Kelly Lefler has said this on Fox
- 26:12Speaker 1: Business with Larry Kudlow about what the intended effects of
- 26:16Speaker 1: the government shutdown for the Democrats may actually be, and
- 26:19Speaker 1: it's to put you out of business.
- 26:22Speaker 10: Straight You're here to tell me I think that the
- 26:25Speaker 10: shutdowns killing small businesses. But Pardner, this whole show is
- 26:29Speaker 10: very bullished. The stock market is booming, the economy is
- 26:33Speaker 10: growing in close to four percent. How bad can it
- 26:35Speaker 10: be for small business? I mean, the shutdown thing, you
- 26:38Speaker 10: know whatever. We should be pulling the trigger on those
- 26:42Speaker 10: two point zero and reduce spending. But really, you'd think
- 26:46Speaker 10: small business is really hurting now.
- 26:49Speaker 11: Well, look, Larry, prior to this shutdown, as of September,
- 26:52Speaker 11: small business confidence hit a seven year high. Not since
- 26:55Speaker 11: President Trump's first term had small business felt so confident
- 26:59Speaker 11: in the economy. And that's all thanks to President Trump's
- 27:01Speaker 11: economic agenda, which by the way, is a supply side
- 27:04Speaker 11: agenda that I know you support. It's free and fair trade,
- 27:07Speaker 11: it's low taxes, it's deregulation, it's access to capital. And
- 27:10Speaker 11: because of their confidence in twenty twenty five, the fiscal
- 27:14Speaker 11: year we just wrapped up twenty seven days ago, the
- 27:16Speaker 11: SBA broke through a seventy two year lending record, surpassing
- 27:21Speaker 11: forty five billion to eighty five thousand small businesses across
- 27:25Speaker 11: this country because they believe in President Trump's economic agenda
- 27:29Speaker 11: of drill baby, drill making sure that we have the
- 27:32Speaker 11: supply chains we need and restoring American manufacturing. They were
- 27:36Speaker 11: quite bullish heading into this shutdown. But look, this shutdown
- 27:39Speaker 11: is having the intended effect by the Democrats. They want
- 27:42Speaker 11: to hurt Main Street and that's what they're trying to
- 27:44Speaker 11: do right now.
- 27:45Speaker 10: Well, you make a point. The National Federation of the
- 27:47Speaker 10: Independent Business Survey that may be what you're talking about.
- 27:52Speaker 10: It did drop. I mean, it was one hundred point
- 27:55Speaker 10: eight in August. The last reading is ninety eight point
- 27:58Speaker 10: eight in September a year ago was only ninety one
- 28:02Speaker 10: point five. But really, I mean, with all the things
- 28:06Speaker 10: in the one big beautiful bill, and you're seeing a
- 28:08Speaker 10: fabulous stock market. Now these are small businesses, they're not
- 28:11Speaker 10: necessarily publicly owned businesses, but I you know, I think
- 28:15Speaker 10: the future is very, very bright. You have tremendous tax
- 28:20Speaker 10: incentives in that bill. Kelly Leffler, I mean, I want
- 28:24Speaker 10: to shut down the end too, and I think the
- 28:26Speaker 10: Democrats are all wrong, and we're going to make fun
- 28:28Speaker 10: of it in the next segment. But the fact of
- 28:30Speaker 10: the matter is the ecomomy's booming and the stock market
- 28:34Speaker 10: is telling us that, and I you know, I want
- 28:36Speaker 10: you to you're growing at four percent three point nine
- 28:40Speaker 10: percent in the second and third quarters according to the
- 28:42Speaker 10: Atlanta FED. That's pretty good, don't you think.
- 28:45Speaker 1: You listen to Kudler there and what he's saying, as
- 28:48Speaker 1: the government shut down drags into a month and it
- 28:51Speaker 1: could go to the longest shutdown in history, and yes,
- 28:54Speaker 1: the government shutdown is having the intended effects by Democrats.
- 28:58Speaker 1: They want to shut down in her small business owners.
- 29:01Speaker 1: They want you to not be able to pay for
- 29:03Speaker 1: food if you're on food stamps. They want you to
- 29:06Speaker 1: suffer so that then maybe you'll decide that somehow this shutdown,
- 29:10Speaker 1: which is clearly the Democrat's fault and their plan, will
- 29:14Speaker 1: then somehow turn to you blaming the Republicans for it.
- 29:20Speaker 1: That is the key here for them. This is what
- 29:23Speaker 1: they want to happen. They want you to just get
- 29:26Speaker 1: so angry that you finally just say to Republicans, all right,
- 29:29Speaker 1: screw it. Give the hostages the Democratic Party what they
- 29:34Speaker 1: demand so that I get whatever relief I want right
- 29:39Speaker 1: now now. One other thing about this government shutdown that
- 29:42Speaker 1: I also think is an important point to make. The
- 29:45Speaker 1: Republicans seem to be doing a much better job of
- 29:50Speaker 1: explaining this shutdown, why it's happening, and who's behind it
- 29:56Speaker 1: than they have done in the past. They seem to
- 29:58Speaker 1: be much more focused on it, and the American people
- 30:02Speaker 1: seem to understand it now better than they ever have before.
- 30:06Speaker 1: A lot of this goes back to what's happening in
- 30:08Speaker 1: this country. On another issue, law and order, the Republican
- 30:12Speaker 1: Party has an incredible job explaining why law and order
- 30:17Speaker 1: is important, why we should make sure that the men
- 30:21Speaker 1: and women who are in this country illegally should be
- 30:24Speaker 1: found and deported, and how many criminal aliens there are.
- 30:28Speaker 1: This subject right now is literally no different than that.
- 30:34Speaker 5: This subject is the same thing.
- 30:37Speaker 1: You have a Democratic Party that is holding Americans hostage
- 30:41Speaker 1: because they lost their power, and when they lost their power,
- 30:44Speaker 1: they decided this was the game plan. It is to
- 30:48Speaker 1: hurt Americans and try to make you just beg for
- 30:52Speaker 1: some sort of relief, even if that means a terrible
- 30:56Speaker 1: deal overall for the future of this country and the
- 30:59Speaker 1: American people. Which brings us to looking forward, how long
- 31:04Speaker 1: will the shutdown last? Honestly, when you're dealing with these
- 31:08Speaker 1: types of people that are holding you hostage, there's no
- 31:11Speaker 1: way to tell. There's no way to know there's no
- 31:14Speaker 1: way to know what they're going to do next, and
- 31:18Speaker 1: if they're going to listen to you, the one thing
- 31:21Speaker 1: I can tell you is it's time to start getting
- 31:23Speaker 1: on the phone, calling your congressman, calling your senators and
- 31:28Speaker 1: explaining to them, if they're Republicans, you stand with them,
- 31:31Speaker 1: and if they're Democrats voting against reopening the government, that
- 31:35Speaker 1: you're going to hold them accountable in the future. I
- 31:39Speaker 1: do think the American people are understanding one thing right now.
- 31:42Speaker 1: The Democratic Party is not listening to the American voters
- 31:46Speaker 1: at all, and when they don't get their way, their
- 31:49Speaker 1: goal and objective is to go rogue because they don't
- 31:53Speaker 1: respect the laws or the will of the American people.
