- 0:15Speaker 1: million bucks things in it to me through good often
- 0:24Speaker 1: to other, Please I don't join me? You got turning?
- 1:10Speaker 1: You are you gotta turn to turn them out? Turn
- 1:43Speaker 1: you lon't got to turn out? Then turn the water
- 1:47Speaker 1: the water go? Come come on your baby, uh huh,
- 2:02Speaker 1: I show will good morning everybody, y'all listen to the VARs,
- 2:06Speaker 1: come on dig me now one and on it. Steve
- 2:08Speaker 1: Harvey got a radio show, Man on Man on man.
- 2:13Speaker 1: Grateful for it comes with a huge amount of responsibility.
- 2:17Speaker 1: I didn't really know I was gonna have to be
- 2:19Speaker 1: this responsible, you know, Um, can I share something with y'all?
- 2:24Speaker 1: I started out to Finally I had gotten on track
- 2:27Speaker 1: and was able to see a way to even pursue
- 2:32Speaker 1: my dream. It has been a long, a long trip
- 2:36Speaker 1: that I've been on, and I've gone through so many
- 2:38Speaker 1: phases of it. It is rewarding along the way to
- 2:44Speaker 1: accomplish your dreams. What I'm saying is this, let me
- 2:47Speaker 1: let me put it together, because I got so much
- 2:49Speaker 1: running through my head right now. You know, it's it's
- 2:52Speaker 1: one thing to accomplish your dream, but there's joy in
- 2:56Speaker 1: the process of achieving it. See, some people are so
- 3:02Speaker 1: caught up in the goal, the final goal, that they
- 3:07Speaker 1: find no joy, no enjoyment in the process. If you
- 3:13Speaker 1: have found what it is you want to do and
- 3:18Speaker 1: you strike out on that journey, please understand you are
- 3:23Speaker 1: far more blessed than the average person to know what
- 3:27Speaker 1: it is you really want to do. To find your
- 3:31Speaker 1: work in life, your purpose, to find out what direction
- 3:36Speaker 1: you want to go in is such a blessing. The
- 3:39Speaker 1: average person, if you sit down and talk to them,
- 3:42Speaker 1: oftentimes don't have their life on track. And it'd be
- 3:46Speaker 1: some people that you're looking at you think God it
- 3:48Speaker 1: going on because of their appearance, their swagger, or they
- 3:53Speaker 1: walk like it, they talk like it, they look like it.
- 3:55Speaker 1: But if you sit down and talk to the average person,
- 3:59Speaker 1: the average hearsing man does not know what their purpose is,
- 4:04Speaker 1: has not discovered what they want to do, and have
- 4:07Speaker 1: no idea how to get that. If you are on
- 4:10Speaker 1: the other side of that, if you understand your purpose,
- 4:14Speaker 1: if you have an idea of what you want to be,
- 4:17Speaker 1: and you are on your way there, you are truly blessed.
- 4:22Speaker 1: And in that blessing. You must recognize it as a blessing.
- 4:27Speaker 1: You must recognize the fact that you are on the
- 4:31Speaker 1: right side, and that there should be a sense of
- 4:34Speaker 1: accomplishment and a feeling of pride in you that you
- 4:38Speaker 1: are on track to accomplish your goal. See what used
- 4:42Speaker 1: to happen was sometimes I used to keep my nose
- 4:45Speaker 1: so on the grindstone that I wouldn't even look up
- 4:50Speaker 1: and realize. Man, hey, man, I know you're trying to
- 4:53Speaker 1: get here, but steve hold on, man, can't you see
- 4:56Speaker 1: what you've done so far? Can't you find just some
- 5:00Speaker 1: joy in the process. See, a lot of us lose
- 5:03Speaker 1: the joy of the blessings God has given us because
- 5:06Speaker 1: we're looking at the end. Tomot, I ain't there yet.
- 5:09Speaker 1: You on your way. I'm gonna give you an example.
- 5:13Speaker 1: I had a friend who told me that they wanted
- 5:16Speaker 1: to be a million now, and they asked me some
- 5:19Speaker 1: questions and I told him, so they started the process,
- 5:23Speaker 1: and I am telling you, this dude works extremely hard.
- 5:30Speaker 1: So about a year later we were talking. He had
- 5:34Speaker 1: found this business, he had set his goal, and he
- 5:40Speaker 1: was working towards him. Then about two years later I
- 5:44Speaker 1: ran up into him again. We were talking about it
- 5:46Speaker 1: and everything. It's a man. Really really appreciate the advice.
- 5:49Speaker 1: He said, Man, but this is all jacked up, man,
- 5:53Speaker 1: because I still ain't made that million I was talking about.
- 5:57Speaker 1: I said, well, hey, man, just just keep at it.
- 5:59Speaker 1: It's coming. He's a man. Keep at it. Man. You
- 6:02Speaker 1: know how long I've been doing this? Been two years now.
- 6:05Speaker 1: And I didn't say that to him, but I said
- 6:07Speaker 1: to myself, yeah, two years. He said, Man, I've been
- 6:10Speaker 1: grinding so long. Man, it's just it ain't having it
- 6:13Speaker 1: from me. I said, wait a minute, man, hold on,
- 6:16Speaker 1: hold on. I said, about how much you're making right
- 6:18Speaker 1: now a year? Man, about two hundred and fifty thousand.
- 6:24Speaker 1: I quit breathing. I said, well, my man, two years
- 6:29Speaker 1: ago you didn't have a clue. Two years later, you're
- 6:34Speaker 1: making a quarter of a million dollars. I said, man,
- 6:38Speaker 1: do you understand how blessed you are? I said, man,
- 6:41Speaker 1: your family was about to get put out two years ago.
- 6:46Speaker 1: You don't bought a house? Yeah, man, but this ain't
- 6:48Speaker 1: the house. I really won't. Ohoa Pardner, whoa, I got that.
- 6:53Speaker 1: I got that house. You really won't make Mike call
- 6:56Speaker 1: five eight million. I don't know, but Man, y'all got
- 7:00Speaker 1: the house, you're making the payments, you drive it. You
- 7:02Speaker 1: ain't out no more. I said, holder, Man, you got
- 7:04Speaker 1: to stop. I said, you got to stop. I said, man,
- 7:06Speaker 1: because right now, man, you you coming across as real
- 7:09Speaker 1: ungrateful to me. And so he said, man, why are
- 7:12Speaker 1: you tripping like that? Man? Man, you act like don't
- 7:15Speaker 1: nobody want to have nothing but you? I said, whoa man,
- 7:17Speaker 1: where are you going with this conversation? I said, Oh,
- 7:19Speaker 1: I didn't come to you. I just came to you
- 7:21Speaker 1: and ask you how you doing. And I'm trying to
- 7:23Speaker 1: point out to you that the journey that you started on,
- 7:27Speaker 1: that you are on your weight, and you are in
- 7:29Speaker 1: the process of accomplishing your goals. And can you not
- 7:32Speaker 1: feel some joy and some pleasure in your accomplishment. Quit
- 7:36Speaker 1: tripping on the fact that you ain't made the million yet.
- 7:39Speaker 1: You on your way. You don't went from your He thought,
- 7:42Speaker 1: this dude was making fifteen thousand dollars a year. You
- 7:44Speaker 1: making quarter of a million dollars in two years. May
- 7:46Speaker 1: come on, man, can't you see? Can't you see? So
- 7:50Speaker 1: he said eventually a man, I kind of see what
- 7:53Speaker 1: you're saying. But that ain't about nothing to me because
- 7:55Speaker 1: I ran up into him a year and a half later.
- 8:00Speaker 1: How you're doing, man, Man, I showed, wish I'd appreciate
- 8:04Speaker 1: it my life when I had it like that? I said,
- 8:06Speaker 1: what you mean, had it like that? Man? Just fell
- 8:09Speaker 1: on some hard times. Man, I'm right back why I was.
- 8:13Speaker 1: And then we talked. I said, hey, man, don't worry
- 8:15Speaker 1: about it. I said, Once you know how to accomplish something,
- 8:17Speaker 1: I said, you just reapply the same principles and start
- 8:20Speaker 1: on over again. Man, you know how hard it is
- 8:23Speaker 1: to be to start over. Okay, my man, Hold up, partner,
- 8:26Speaker 1: you can't do yourself like this again. First you wasn't
- 8:29Speaker 1: grateful for what you had. Now you're looking at the
- 8:31Speaker 1: fact that you might have to start over, and you
- 8:33Speaker 1: know how hard it is to start over. Maybe God said, okay,
- 8:38Speaker 1: you ain't happy with this. Okay, didn't handle it your way?
- 8:42Speaker 1: You obviously ain't happy with the way I'm bringing it
- 8:44Speaker 1: into your life. You want to handle it your weight,
- 8:47Speaker 1: Go ahead and handle it because he will let you
- 8:48Speaker 1: have it your way. Can I tell you that he
- 8:51Speaker 1: will let you do it exactly the way you want
- 8:53Speaker 1: to it because He gives us all the power of choice.
- 8:55Speaker 1: So then maybe he said, Okay, you don't appreciate the
- 8:59Speaker 1: way I'm doing it, don't like the favor I'm showing you.
- 9:01Speaker 1: You think it's taken too long. I'm gonna let you
- 9:03Speaker 1: do it your way. I'm not gonna turn my back
- 9:05Speaker 1: on you. I'm just gonna let you do it your way.
- 9:08Speaker 1: Just just say. Maybe he said that, and now he
- 9:11Speaker 1: right back where it was. So what I try to
- 9:13Speaker 1: get the young cat to understand was, man, appreciate your
- 9:17Speaker 1: life for what it is. Because like life, Jenny's got
- 9:21Speaker 1: that song that he got out off this album. Still
- 9:23Speaker 1: I still believe it could have been worse. And now
- 9:27Speaker 1: that it is worse, what's on your mind now, folks,
- 9:31Speaker 1: If you are on that side of life where you
- 9:33Speaker 1: have figured out what you want to do, you know
- 9:36Speaker 1: how you're gonna get that, and you know your purpose.
- 9:38Speaker 1: You're accomplishing what the majority of people never ever do.
- 9:41Speaker 1: So be grateful for your process. Don't tumble yourself, don't
- 9:45Speaker 1: throw yourself off to cliff. It's gonna be all right.
- 9:48Speaker 1: Success takes a measure of time. It is not easy.
- 9:52Speaker 1: If success were easy, everybody would be successful. You're listening show,
- 10:01Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, without further ado, it's mourning time. Steve Harving,
- 10:08Speaker 1: Marty show us here, man, I'm so glad about it again?
- 10:12Speaker 1: Or look at God? Ain't he something else? Just keeps
- 10:15Speaker 1: on over and over and over and over and over,
- 10:20Speaker 1: and just keep on blessing us, all of us, keep
- 10:23Speaker 1: giving us life and health and strengthen and opportunity and
- 10:28Speaker 1: chance and renewal and forgiveness and grace and mercy and favor.
- 10:34Speaker 1: You know what I've decided, man, And I don't know
- 10:37Speaker 1: how you feel about You can feel the same way too.
- 10:40Speaker 1: But I'm actually one of his favorites. And I've just
- 10:43Speaker 1: decided to call myself that. You ever have people that go, um,
- 10:47Speaker 1: you know that I'm I'm I'm I'm her best friend.
- 10:51Speaker 1: I'm his best friend. I'm his best friend. Just tell
- 10:53Speaker 1: it like that. You really can't check on it to nothing,
- 10:57Speaker 1: so I y'all can't check on it and nothing. So
- 11:00Speaker 1: I'm just I'm just one of his favorites. He has
- 11:04Speaker 1: a ton of them. Yeah, but we kind of knew
- 11:06Speaker 1: it though. Yeah, they're science, they're science. No argument from you, nephew,
- 11:14Speaker 1: no argument. He's speaking the truth from Thomas. Oh yeah, yeah,
- 11:19Speaker 1: Tha to go somewhere I wasn't looking for. Let me
- 11:22Speaker 1: introduce everybody, everybody, Everybody, everybody, Sherley Strawberry, everybody, call it real, everybody,
- 11:28Speaker 1: Mouth of the South, Mississippi, Monica, everybody, Junior Kills Spakes, everybody, Nephew, Timmy,
- 11:33Speaker 1: everybody in yours truly, Junior. What's on your mind? Yeah?
- 11:37Speaker 1: I like to pick up what Tommy just less all, Like,
- 11:39Speaker 1: how do you know you wanted his favorites? How you
- 11:42Speaker 1: just know? Because I know? You know, because I am
- 11:46Speaker 1: a recipient of his unmerited grace and faithful. Unmerited mean
- 11:54Speaker 1: I have not earned it that I've done, not nothing
- 11:58Speaker 1: to deserve all that He's given to me, And I
- 12:02Speaker 1: know it it's unmerited. You can't earn favor. When God
- 12:06Speaker 1: give you grace, it's nothing. He just gives it freely.
- 12:10Speaker 1: And all of us have been a recipient of him.
- 12:13Speaker 1: It's just sometimes we don't recognize what it is, you know, Like,
- 12:18Speaker 1: have you ever had something that could have happened to
- 12:20Speaker 1: you but it didn't happen to you? The time? All
- 12:24Speaker 1: the time? That was grace. If something could have happened
- 12:29Speaker 1: to you but it didn't happen to you, but you
- 12:33Speaker 1: know it should have happened to you. Oh and it
- 12:37Speaker 1: didn't happen to you, Yes, sir, Yeah, I call that grace.
- 12:42Speaker 1: Have you ever wanted something and you really didn't do
- 12:45Speaker 1: everything you needed to do and it popped off anywhere
- 12:48Speaker 1: and you went all right, Now, Yes, that's favor. That's favor, man.
- 13:00Speaker 1: It's almost like in just layman turns, hey man, could
- 13:04Speaker 1: you do me a favor? Sometimes he just give your favor.
- 13:09Speaker 1: You don't even ask for it. Yeah, just like we
- 13:12Speaker 1: do our own kids. Same way. Yeah, faivul Yeah, grace
- 13:18Speaker 1: and favor. That's how I think I'm one of his favorites, Junior,
- 13:21Speaker 1: because I feel on the receiving the end of a
- 13:22Speaker 1: bunch of them. Yeah, I show to appreciate all the
- 13:26Speaker 1: forgiveness more than anything. We love a guy we serve.
- 13:34Speaker 1: All right, thank you, um. Coming up with thirty two
- 13:37Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, we're gonna start the show off
- 13:39Speaker 1: with Nephew. Tommy's run that crank back. That's right after this.
- 13:44Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, come on, Nephew,
- 13:48Speaker 1: time to start us off with the prank. What you got,
- 13:50Speaker 1: run that prank back? I feel stupid this moment, feeling
- 13:58Speaker 1: it yeah, yeah, yeah, yes, yeah, because yesterday I would
- 14:03Speaker 1: look down yesterday, but today I feel like being stupid.
- 14:07Speaker 1: I have it in my bones in Can I give
- 14:11Speaker 1: you another compliment that I don't want you to take
- 14:13Speaker 1: offense to come on? Come on, come on? You know,
- 14:17Speaker 1: I mean you know, because we don't zoom uh huh.
- 14:21Speaker 1: You look like I look like what it's said, please fair,
- 14:29Speaker 1: please that you look like you're gonna be stupid. It's
- 14:36Speaker 1: the look, Steve. It's a look. Yeah yeah, if it
- 14:41Speaker 1: looks you know how pregnant women have a glow. Yes, yes, yes,
- 14:48Speaker 1: that's what he got. Huh. It's radiant, that's what it is.
- 14:55Speaker 1: Shine radiant rightly. Yeah, let you old stupid Shane. That's
- 15:02Speaker 1: what I want to say. All right, we're gonna we're
- 15:05Speaker 1: gonna take time right now and go to the stupid book.
- 15:08Speaker 1: That ain't my brother's baby. That ain't my brother's baby,
- 15:15Speaker 1: cat dog. If you would don't worry about it's something
- 15:19Speaker 1: I need to take care. I talked to man, I
- 15:21Speaker 1: speak to Terry. My name is Darrel, Damon is my brother.
- 15:25Speaker 1: I don't live in Dallas where y'all live at I'm
- 15:28Speaker 1: the one that live out of town. But we didn't
- 15:30Speaker 1: have a family meeting and talked about it. And uh,
- 15:33Speaker 1: I know Travis is your son. He eight years old.
- 15:36Speaker 1: But the problem is the reason why I'm calling you,
- 15:40Speaker 1: Terry is called. We didn't found out that Travis ain't
- 15:44Speaker 1: none of Damon's child. Travis ain't none of Damon child.
- 15:48Speaker 1: He'd been paying you child support here for the last
- 15:51Speaker 1: eight hold on, you said your name, I'm Darrel, I'm
- 15:54Speaker 1: Damon brother, and who gave this We are to found
- 15:59Speaker 1: the information out. We are gonna go down there to
- 16:00Speaker 1: the courthouse and get all this stuff rectified. But we
- 16:03Speaker 1: didn't find out that Travis ain't no, ain't none of
- 16:06Speaker 1: dames child. And he've been sitting up here sending you
- 16:08Speaker 1: money seven to eight hundred dollars a month, and this
- 16:11Speaker 1: child ain't even here. Now. I hate for Travis to
- 16:14Speaker 1: find this out, and he gonna have to find it out,
- 16:16Speaker 1: but he ain't fortified. But why are you calling me? Look,
- 16:20Speaker 1: the family then't had a meeting, and I'm the one
- 16:22Speaker 1: that they decided to make the phone call and tell
- 16:24Speaker 1: you what's going on. Now, don't you you you don't
- 16:27Speaker 1: have a damn thing to do with this. You. You
- 16:29Speaker 1: ain't nobody daddy over here, So I'm not sure what
- 16:32Speaker 1: you're calling for. Who God made you key or wanted
- 16:35Speaker 1: you to be head in charge to call but that
- 16:38Speaker 1: it's not gonna work out. But let me why why
- 16:40Speaker 1: are you doing this to my brother? That's what I'm saying.
- 16:42Speaker 1: For eight years, the man been sitting you seven hundred
- 16:45Speaker 1: seven dollars a month and and this ain't even his child.
- 16:48Speaker 1: Well you know, why why am I even talking to you?
- 16:53Speaker 1: I'm not really sure your brother need to call me
- 16:55Speaker 1: if he has any problem of questions. You have a
- 16:57Speaker 1: good day. Hello, you don't ring no damn phone up
- 17:03Speaker 1: on me. Damon told me the lass was hardheaded anyway. Now, look,
- 17:08Speaker 1: you know what you got the wrong one baby like you,
- 17:10Speaker 1: I'm trying to not lose all my religion today, but
- 17:12Speaker 1: you're about to make me lose it on ya. You
- 17:15Speaker 1: don't know who you know it over here. So, like
- 17:17Speaker 1: I said before, my fun your nephew that you're trying
- 17:21Speaker 1: not to claim over there. I don't know why you
- 17:23Speaker 1: came from wherever the hell you said you came from
- 17:25Speaker 1: the Dallas to try to I came from California down
- 17:28Speaker 1: here to Dallas, and I'm telling you need to take
- 17:30Speaker 1: your bath back to California because down here if you
- 17:33Speaker 1: don't know me like that, No, I don't know you,
- 17:35Speaker 1: but I'm fend to know you. And Travis been to
- 17:37Speaker 1: know that my brother ain't his daddy. No, I don't know.
- 17:41Speaker 1: You know you need to talk to your brother again.
- 17:43Speaker 1: That's what you need to do. And you don't need
- 17:44Speaker 1: to be talking to me. You've been to send us
- 17:45Speaker 1: all the money and my brother didn't sent, y'all. I
- 17:51Speaker 1: and when I do, look and I sent when I
- 17:53Speaker 1: sent all that eight years worth of money back, you're
- 17:56Speaker 1: gonna send it every dying back because it belonged to
- 17:58Speaker 1: my brother. That ain't my brother, y'all. Now, we ain't
- 18:00Speaker 1: got time to be going on on ma repover showing
- 18:03Speaker 1: nothing to find out who you know what? Like I said,
- 18:06Speaker 1: you picked the wrong one. It'd be your best been
- 18:08Speaker 1: not to call me anymore. You actually it is a
- 18:10Speaker 1: good thing that you call because if you can't knocking
- 18:13Speaker 1: on my bell, you to got you all with today? No,
- 18:15Speaker 1: you go, that's my second thing I've been to do.
- 18:17Speaker 1: If we can't rectified over the fall, I don't have
- 18:20Speaker 1: a problem coming over there, knocking down some does and
- 18:22Speaker 1: getting some questions answered, because damn it, this ain't Damon's baby.
- 18:26Speaker 1: Obviously you must wish it was yours, so you're taking
- 18:28Speaker 1: so much entry. No, it ain't mine, but but it
- 18:31Speaker 1: ain't Damon's either, and we got to had any and
- 18:35Speaker 1: looking for from. But I'm sorry this was taken over
- 18:38Speaker 1: here and Damon, where we continue to play? When you
- 18:40Speaker 1: owe Damon, don't open. That's what far with your brother's
- 18:43Speaker 1: No I want to play. I'm sorry. He's gonna continue
- 18:46Speaker 1: to play and you can call wherever you want to come,
- 18:48Speaker 1: do whatever you want to do. So go back and
- 18:49Speaker 1: tell your mama and everybody else who's waiting for this
- 18:52Speaker 1: meeting to let them know it ain't having me. Look,
- 18:55Speaker 1: my mama ain't got nothing to do with it. Mama
- 18:57Speaker 1: been your mamma. You said your mama. I got to Gallas.
- 19:01Speaker 1: She the same way, like I'll see where you get
- 19:02Speaker 1: it from. You're just like her. Mama knows it y'all
- 19:05Speaker 1: from nosing people money, y'all. Damn business, that's a wrong man.
- 19:09Speaker 1: That ain't. My mama said it from the get go
- 19:11Speaker 1: that it wasn't hunting, that it wasn't damon chime. No,
- 19:14Speaker 1: I mean your mama's the two faced lock because you're
- 19:15Speaker 1: all with your mama said, you ain't been to sit
- 19:17Speaker 1: here and bring my mama up in this well. If
- 19:20Speaker 1: you know so much, then you back, come back on
- 19:22Speaker 1: my ball. I'm not on my ball. If you want to.

- 19:27Speaker 1: times twelve then times eight is seventy two thousand dollars.
- 19:32Speaker 1: That's how much money. And my brother didn't send you,
- 19:34Speaker 1: and that's how much we want back. And I need
- 19:37Speaker 1: you to get the working on this money. Nah, okay,

- 21:28Speaker 1: Smith has apologized to Chris Rock. We'll talk about all
- 21:31Speaker 1: of these stories at the top of the hour, but
- 21:33Speaker 1: right now it is time to ask the cloo or
- 21:37Speaker 1: chief love officer. Yeah, all right. This was smurb Shoe
- 21:40Speaker 1: and Irvine Shoe writes. Last month, my husband went out
- 21:45Speaker 1: with the fellas, and it's not unusual for him to
- 21:47Speaker 1: stay with his best friend if he's had too many drinks.
- 21:50Speaker 1: I drove his car yesterday and saw our receipt from
- 21:53Speaker 1: a breakfast spot on the other side of town with
- 21:56Speaker 1: two two entrees and lots of drinks. Am I to
- 22:00Speaker 1: tr uh? I to trust him or question him about
- 22:05Speaker 1: this receipt? Come one, sorry for a breakfast spot. M
- 22:10Speaker 1: right for a receipt and two a whole bunch of drinks,
- 22:15Speaker 1: A whole bunch of drinks out of breakfast spot. Yeah,
- 22:18Speaker 1: that's the other side of town. But my body's here
- 22:24Speaker 1: with you. We got the other side of time. Yes, Uh,
- 22:34Speaker 1: him and his friend could have woke up and went
- 22:36Speaker 1: to breakfast You believe that? Yea, what unless unless you
- 22:43Speaker 1: can prove different. That's what I'm going with. I'm with it, okay, Yeah,
- 22:48Speaker 1: but I don't know where where the drinks. When she
- 22:50Speaker 1: said a bunch of drinks I'm thinking about. Yeah, who
- 22:55Speaker 1: buying that me? And don't order emotion. I'm just gonna
- 22:58Speaker 1: take hate fell a dog. You're having him emotion? Yea,
- 23:03Speaker 1: give me one? Two? That questionable? Okay, she shouldn't question
- 23:12Speaker 1: him trust him unless she has proof. Well, you can
- 23:16Speaker 1: question him if you want to. But I mean what
- 23:19Speaker 1: you thank you for to tell you though? Right? I mean,
- 23:24Speaker 1: come on, now you can question him, but what what? Okay?
- 23:30Speaker 1: Ask me? All right? So I found this receiver um
- 23:33Speaker 1: with two entrees for a restaurant across town. Two entrees
- 23:37Speaker 1: and a whole bunch of drinks. Were you with your boy?
- 23:40Speaker 1: I thought you? Is this with your boy? Yeah? Due
- 23:44Speaker 1: the receipt hair Raymond on that? Uh uh no, and
- 23:47Speaker 1: you know that because that's who I was eating with, right, Yeah,
- 23:52Speaker 1: I love to set up one he goes that. Yeah,
- 24:02Speaker 1: they don't. I'm just telling you that receipt is for
- 24:04Speaker 1: me and Raymond. Okay, Well that was cool. I asked
- 24:08Speaker 1: you for a quick lie. Okay, all right. Moving on
- 24:11Speaker 1: to Trevanda in Jacksonville. Trevanda says, I'm married to a
- 24:15Speaker 1: man and he has a big dog that I'm afraid of.
- 24:19Speaker 1: We met online and that's the one thing I compromised on.
- 24:23Speaker 1: I asked him to keep the dog in the yard.
- 24:25Speaker 1: But I've come home several times and the dog is
- 24:27Speaker 1: lying in the middle of my kitchen. Shouldn't my husband
- 24:30Speaker 1: respect my wishes? Or am I wrong? Wow? Women? Wait, huh,
- 24:36Speaker 1: y'all met online, met online? Y'all married already? M And
- 24:45Speaker 1: you didn't know about the dog. Yeah, she said she
- 24:48Speaker 1: compromised on the dog. She knew about it. She let
- 24:50Speaker 1: it go. Listen to me. I don't know where you're from,
- 24:54Speaker 1: but people don't do their dogs like Ville, Jacksonville. You
- 25:00Speaker 1: can't just leave your dog in the damn yard no moment. Well,
- 25:06Speaker 1: she came home in the house where he gonna be.
- 25:12Speaker 1: That's where he smelled the food he lay in the bathroom. Well,
- 25:19Speaker 1: she's afraid of the dog. Okay, But lady, look, I
- 25:23Speaker 1: don't know what to tell you. Dad said he wasn't
- 25:26Speaker 1: giving up the dogs. So now the dog stay there,
- 25:32Speaker 1: ain't gonna be run, He ain't gonna be around much longer,
- 25:35Speaker 1: just hanging there. Huh, what's waiting on the dog to die?
- 25:40Speaker 1: That just had to wait him out, you know, let
- 25:49Speaker 1: me time for a dog. Yeah, big dogs all that weight,
- 25:54Speaker 1: over feed him, feed him a lot, and then what
- 25:57Speaker 1: put him outside? When you no, then you're gonna just
- 26:00Speaker 1: put a lot of weight on him, put some pressure
- 26:02Speaker 1: on the daughters. Yeah, as he sucks. Yeah, all right,
- 26:09Speaker 1: we'll chat and Lafayette, maybe we can come back after
- 26:13Speaker 1: you think about it. All right, kat and Lafiette says,
- 26:16Speaker 1: my parents, what she really ought to do is build
- 26:20Speaker 1: a relationship with your dog. They're great protectors. Can't nobody
- 26:23Speaker 1: come in the house without a dog? Can you got
- 26:25Speaker 1: the best alarm system in the world. Build a relationship
- 26:28Speaker 1: with your dog. Yeah, she's just afraid of the dog. Well,
- 26:32Speaker 1: damn it, he stayed at now she knew that. Yeah,
- 26:39Speaker 1: all right, kat And Lafayette says, my parents are getting
- 26:41Speaker 1: older and I want to move closer to them in Texas.
- 26:44Speaker 1: But I just got a promotion at work and my
- 26:46Speaker 1: husband doesn't want to move to the big city, as
- 26:48Speaker 1: he calls it. I can work from home if I move,
- 26:52Speaker 1: and I can get a small place for myself or
- 26:55Speaker 1: stay with my parents. Would I be selfish to split
- 26:57Speaker 1: my time in Texas? Wow, you married your husband, you
- 27:04Speaker 1: said some violes. You want to help your parents. That's
- 27:09Speaker 1: a tough one m Margie goes to visit her parents often.
- 27:14Speaker 1: Just go visit them often. You can't move in and
- 27:17Speaker 1: help them though, I mean, unless that's what y'all's arrangement is.
- 27:20Speaker 1: You know, I don't know. I wouldn't let nothing happen
- 27:22Speaker 1: to my parents. But you know, if they're not like
- 27:25Speaker 1: you know, real and real bad shape, you just want
- 27:27Speaker 1: to be close to them, then just go visit them often.
- 27:30Speaker 1: But if they're in bad shape, you know, health wise,
- 27:33Speaker 1: you gotta do something to help them. You know, I
- 27:36Speaker 1: don't really know when you move them to Texas, move
- 27:41Speaker 1: them where they are. Yeah, you know you're gonna you're
- 27:43Speaker 1: gonna do like you want. Your man told you don't
- 27:45Speaker 1: move up. You move up there and get your little
- 27:47Speaker 1: place if you want to. All right, go ahead, right now,
- 27:52Speaker 1: come back home? He visitor, female visitors not to move
- 28:02Speaker 1: who I'm supposed to do? All right? Moving on to
- 28:06Speaker 1: Josette in Southfield? Is that right? So I'm a choreographer
- 28:10Speaker 1: at a dance studio and one of my students is
- 28:12Speaker 1: twenty four years old and he's a hip hop dancer
- 28:15Speaker 1: in need of some help. He's cute as he can be,
- 28:18Speaker 1: and he's a flirt but I'm old enough to be
- 28:20Speaker 1: his mother. He grabbed me in places that he shouldn't
- 28:23Speaker 1: and it makes me blush? Should I just ask him?
- 28:26Speaker 1: What's up? You know what you just said? What are
- 28:31Speaker 1: you doing? Cute as hell? He didn't grabbed you in
- 28:35Speaker 1: inappropriate places and you flirt? You're gonna ask him what's up?
- 28:40Speaker 1: You know what's up? He needs some help. He need
- 28:45Speaker 1: to stay sugar mama couger. He find moving your old
- 28:49Speaker 1: ass house. You're gonna have to tell your friends who
- 28:53Speaker 1: he is? Who? What's she gonna say? Who is a
- 28:57Speaker 1: little bar? This is take? This is this is take
- 29:03Speaker 1: my brother, sir? All right, we gotta move on. Clo
- 29:09Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, Will Smith
- 29:11Speaker 1: apologizes to Chris Rock. We'll talk about it right after this.
- 29:16Speaker 1: You're listening to the Stave Harvey Morning Show. All right,
- 29:21Speaker 1: So Will Smith has finally apologized to Chris Rock. He
- 29:24Speaker 1: did it yesterday and said that slapping Chris was unacceptable
- 29:28Speaker 1: and inexcusable. As we all know, Will did not apologize
- 29:32Speaker 1: to Chris Sunday night during his Best Actor acceptance speech,
- 29:37Speaker 1: but now he is acknowledging that violence in all of
- 29:40Speaker 1: its forms is poisonous and destructive. Here is a full
- 29:44Speaker 1: apology that will post it on his Instagram page. He says,
- 29:47Speaker 1: violence and all of its forms, it's poisonous and destructive.
- 29:51Speaker 1: My behavior at last night's Academy Awards was unacceptable and
- 29:54Speaker 1: then inexcusable. Jokes at my expense are part of the job,
- 29:58Speaker 1: but a joke about Jada's medical condition was way too
- 30:01Speaker 1: much for me to bear, and I reacted emotionally. I
- 30:04Speaker 1: would like to publicly apologize to you, Chris. I was
- 30:07Speaker 1: out of line and I was wrong. I'm embarrassed and
- 30:10Speaker 1: my actions are not indicative of the man I want
- 30:13Speaker 1: to be. There is no place for violence in a
- 30:15Speaker 1: world of love and kindness. I would also like to
- 30:18Speaker 1: apologize to the Academy, the producers of the show, all
- 30:21Speaker 1: the attendees, and everyone watching around the world. I would
- 30:25Speaker 1: like to apologize to the Williams family and my King
- 30:28Speaker 1: Richard family. I deeply regret my behavior has stained what
- 30:32Speaker 1: has been an otherwise gorgeous journey for all of us
- 30:36Speaker 1: be and that sincere to Well, I can't speak for him.
- 30:46Speaker 1: Tell me to answer your question. I wish the apology
- 30:49Speaker 1: had come Sunday night, when he apologized to the Academy
- 30:53Speaker 1: and everyone else on Sunday night. That's when I wish
- 30:55Speaker 1: he had made this apology. I mean, I'm glad he
- 30:58Speaker 1: finally you made an apology to Chris Rock, but I
- 31:02Speaker 1: wish it comes Yeah, yeah, I wish it was more
- 31:06Speaker 1: of like I don't have to know about it, but
- 31:08Speaker 1: verbally took Chris, like a phone call to Chris. Yeah. Yeah,
- 31:13Speaker 1: this is a step, So I'm not upset about it.
- 31:15Speaker 1: This is a step. Yeah. I think he should have
- 31:17Speaker 1: done it publicly, because he slapped him publicly, publicly and
- 31:22Speaker 1: then went in part yeah, well see that's the thing.
- 31:25Speaker 1: You gave the apology to the academy, then you know
- 31:29Speaker 1: the incident happened. You apologize to the Academy and your peers.
- 31:32Speaker 1: You didn't apologize to Chris, didn't your party. You're doing
- 31:36Speaker 1: too much to slap me. You're doing way too much
- 31:38Speaker 1: slap Yes, he did not realize the magnitude of it
- 31:45Speaker 1: until after the fact. I've made some very very public
- 31:50Speaker 1: mistakes and you don't really know the magnitude and after
- 31:56Speaker 1: until after the public gets a hold to it. The
- 31:59Speaker 1: problem that I have with this, see I understand the apology.
- 32:04Speaker 1: I also understand what it's coming from, because I look
- 32:06Speaker 1: into the words everybody said talking about my wife's I'm
- 32:12Speaker 1: cool with jokes and jokes about me, blah blah blah,
- 32:14Speaker 1: but when you talk about my wife's medical condition, that
- 32:18Speaker 1: ain't what the man said though. See there was no
- 32:21Speaker 1: mention of a disease or anything like that. I don't
- 32:25Speaker 1: even think. I don't I really don't even think Chris
- 32:29Speaker 1: knew anything about the medical condition. It was about her
- 32:33Speaker 1: wearing her hair short and her looking like Demi Moore
- 32:37Speaker 1: that and and said, because all it was was about
- 32:39Speaker 1: the g I Jane joke. It wasn't about no, you
- 32:41Speaker 1: look like you know, uh you know, you know now
- 32:45Speaker 1: if you say something medical, you know you look like
- 32:47Speaker 1: a you know, you know, you look you are posted
- 32:50Speaker 1: girl for chemo or something like that. You can't get
- 32:52Speaker 1: your ass whoop. I'm in all support or we are
- 32:56Speaker 1: walking up on that stage and knocking his ass out
- 33:00Speaker 1: because if you do my wife publicly in a negative way,
- 33:04Speaker 1: here I come. See I'm with that. Yeah, but but
- 33:07Speaker 1: but no, no, let me finish what I'm saying. But
- 33:10Speaker 1: that apology with that word in it, and then again
- 33:15Speaker 1: to make sure you apologize to the academy. See, the
- 33:18Speaker 1: most important thing is that cademy. You know that that
- 33:22Speaker 1: deviling back making sure you talking with the academy. When
- 33:25Speaker 1: you put those words in there, it's like, this is
- 33:27Speaker 1: why I did it. So now you justifying what you did.
- 33:30Speaker 1: Now you're gonna come back with the violence thing. But
- 33:32Speaker 1: I did it because yeah, it was like he was
- 33:36Speaker 1: trying to justify the violence. I apologize, but that's the button.
- 33:42Speaker 1: Uh huh. Yeah, but I don't. I don't think. I
- 33:45Speaker 1: don't think Steve, you would have like, I don't think
- 33:48Speaker 1: I would have. But yeah, I mean, I'm the craziest
- 33:50Speaker 1: one on this show, y'all know that. But I'm glad
- 33:53Speaker 1: I go. But I got a wife that that's by
- 33:56Speaker 1: my side that ain't gonna let me walk up down
- 33:58Speaker 1: and do nothing crazy like that. She's gonna be like,
- 33:59Speaker 1: you gonna sit your hands down. You can't. I think
- 34:02Speaker 1: I would personally be like, I'm gonna go to the
- 34:04Speaker 1: back and talk to him. I don't think I would
- 34:06Speaker 1: have right tried to go and handle it right there,
- 34:10Speaker 1: many million people looking at that. I'm ninety pursuit. Sure
- 34:14Speaker 1: that's how I would have done it. But if I'm
- 34:17Speaker 1: sitting there and my wife has a medical condition, and
- 34:21Speaker 1: you make mention of the medical condition and it breaks
- 34:24Speaker 1: her right there. I hope that I got enough sense
- 34:28Speaker 1: to get around to the back of that stage. And
- 34:31Speaker 1: that's how I think I would handle it. That's how
- 34:33Speaker 1: I think I would handle it. But I know right now,
- 34:35Speaker 1: But I'll tell you about Marjorie, Marjorie Harvey. She wouldn't
- 34:39Speaker 1: gonna grab me. Ain't no way. But stre talking. You're
- 34:44Speaker 1: talking like a regular man right now, and what you are,
- 34:47Speaker 1: of course, but you're also a comedian, you know what
- 34:50Speaker 1: I'm saying. That's and Chris Rock is a comedian and
- 34:54Speaker 1: he was just doing his job, Christian. You know what, No,
- 34:58Speaker 1: he just did nothing wrong. Yeah, he was just doing
- 35:01Speaker 1: his job. You're talking as a regular man sitting there
- 35:04Speaker 1: with your wife who had some sort of medical condition.
- 35:07Speaker 1: And but you, as a comedian, what would you you know,
- 35:10Speaker 1: would how would you have handled that same tonight if
- 35:13Speaker 1: I'm the comedian and I'm on stage. Yeah, well, we
- 35:17Speaker 1: we'll not gonna turn around because we're up in here.
- 35:22Speaker 1: They're gonna have to come in. We got to go.
- 35:23Speaker 1: We've been to do like folk commercial breaks in a
- 35:25Speaker 1: row because they gotta fixed the stage in. They gotta
- 35:28Speaker 1: put the lights back up. They ump up to the
- 35:33Speaker 1: lights stage up. What I cannot do? Thank you Chris
- 35:39Speaker 1: Rock for being You cannot slap me and walk off.
- 35:43Speaker 1: You're gonna be trying to dig this Oscar. I chill
- 35:46Speaker 1: the hand because that's the way I didn't put it up.
- 35:48Speaker 1: See I ain't didn't ye handling it the right way
- 35:52Speaker 1: at that particular moment. I hope I could be that
- 35:55Speaker 1: guy at that particular moment. All right, we'll be back
- 35:57Speaker 1: with more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this.
- 36:02Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right. So

- 37:02Speaker 1: That's the fight we've been having since we got here,
- 37:06Speaker 1: and that's the fight that continues. And if you don't
- 37:09Speaker 1: think your ass is black, just hold one. He said it.
- 37:15Speaker 1: He We're not black, We're not white, We're Americans. What brother, brother,

- 40:40Speaker 1: We've seen Herschel before many times. We've seen the herschel
- 40:46Speaker 1: Walkers many times. We're we're very well versed as to
- 40:51Speaker 1: how you come and you dress up the package. Why
- 40:54Speaker 1: oh why this is a Republican party all of a
- 40:58Speaker 1: sudden endorsing Herschel walk black man? Yeah what what black person?
- 41:07Speaker 1: Always they take a close look at the black people
- 41:10Speaker 1: that they do go and get. Yeah, it's amazing the
- 41:15Speaker 1: ones they do go and get. And we're very conscious
- 41:18Speaker 1: of that. If you think that you're going to replace
- 41:23Speaker 1: Warnock with with with him, you're sadly mistaken. Watch us.
- 41:32Speaker 1: I'm calling dial hugely. I'm calling Ricky Smiley and Steve Harvey,

- 42:43Speaker 1: this is what it is. All right. Here we go
- 42:45Speaker 1: call her Sheila from Buffalo. Hi, my name is Sheila
- 42:50Speaker 1: Smith Wayne from Buffalo, New York. Hello, Steve and the crew.
- 42:54Speaker 1: I'd like to give a hand. Trap and Dedication is
- 42:57Speaker 1: called to Junior, also known as Jay Brad. We all
- 43:00Speaker 1: know what it stands for. Junior's raggedy ass poem. He
- 43:04Speaker 1: puts his all into them, so leave them alone. He
- 43:07Speaker 1: took a lot of thought in two what he's trying
- 43:10Speaker 1: to get across, although he's ridiculed by Steve, his loving boss, Junior.
- 43:15Speaker 1: I love your poems. They make me laugh so hard,
- 43:19Speaker 1: looking forward to hearing more. All the teasing disregards Junior
- 43:24Speaker 1: richly adventurous poems, changing the name because that's a win.
- 43:28Speaker 1: So keeps them coming, Jay Rap, I love you the end.
- 43:32Speaker 1: Oh wait, I want to stop her poetry speaking ass
- 43:40Speaker 1: right now. Don't call us talking to us in poetry.
- 43:48Speaker 1: We love Junior and his name. We love Yesterday and
- 43:55Speaker 1: all the science like we in kindergarten. You're telling us

- 45:33Speaker 1: I'm gonna come down there a week later and be
- 45:36Speaker 1: stupid down there too. You see what I'm saying. Stupid
- 45:38Speaker 1: is moving around the country. That's me. I magnified. I
- 45:42Speaker 1: make it bigger than what it is. I'm amazing with it.
- 45:44Speaker 1: You gotta watch me do it. It's it's incredible when
- 45:46Speaker 1: you see it in person. I'm just I'm just saying.
- 45:49Speaker 1: I'm saying that it's the timing. You have been met yet,
- 45:51Speaker 1: So see me right now, right now, we're gonna take
- 45:54Speaker 1: time to be a little bit more ignorant. This right
- 45:56Speaker 1: hill Shirley is no and shoulder. Black people don't eat
- 46:01Speaker 1: anchovies on their pick. No, Shobies do not mushrooms. Yes, yes,
- 46:10Speaker 1: mushroom pepper runing Italian size. Might do a little bell
- 46:16Speaker 1: pepper on you will do that. We don't do ant chovies.
- 46:20Speaker 1: I don't even know what the anchoviy is. What is that? Well,

- 46:40Speaker 1: Who who? Who? Who is the person I need to
- 46:42Speaker 1: talk to about that? I got a pizza that's been
- 46:45Speaker 1: messed up? Who do I need to talk to? Well,
- 46:48Speaker 1: you can talk to me. What's going on? What happened
- 46:50Speaker 1: to in pizza? He puts some anchovies on my pizzas
- 46:54Speaker 1: black people do eat nchobies? Man? Who who? Who? Who

- 47:28Speaker 1: you something. Man. First of all, what's your name? What
- 47:30Speaker 1: is your name? I'm Gino. I'm Gino. So you're the
- 47:33Speaker 1: owner of the damn pizza plates. Yeah, I owned the
- 47:36Speaker 1: damn pizza place, and I don't need people calling me
- 47:38Speaker 1: and cursing at me because there was a mistake and
- 47:41Speaker 1: all mistakes happened, pal where things go on in his life.
- 47:43Speaker 1: And then you're getting some anchovies on your pizza A right, man? Hey, Okay,
- 47:47Speaker 1: so here's the deal. I don't have a bunch of
- 47:49Speaker 1: guests coming to mind or all the pizzas and every
- 47:52Speaker 1: last one of them got manchobies on them, you know
- 47:55Speaker 1: what I'm saying. So I got an issue with it.
- 47:56Speaker 1: I have spent over fifty dollars with you with these pizzas,
- 48:00Speaker 1: and in the right wrong nobody likes anchovies black people,
- 48:06Speaker 1: you know, man trophies. Man. Okay, hold on, I'm I'm
- 48:13Speaker 1: almost certain I've served anchovie peaching of black people before. Okay,
- 48:17Speaker 1: the black people that I know don't eat and shobies. Okay, Well,
- 48:23Speaker 1: then we'll send you some pizzas without any man chovies
- 48:26Speaker 1: on him. You know what I don't like your I
- 48:28Speaker 1: don't like your attitude. You know what, man, you man,
- 48:31Speaker 1: You didn't tell me to so much attitude to start with.

- 48:56Speaker 1: the real that's right, that's right. You don't tell me.
- 48:59Speaker 1: You then to kick my phone? Okay, pound you know

- 50:39Speaker 1: You gotta you gotta Drede that works for you. Yeah,
- 50:42Speaker 1: I gotta Drede that works for me. And Tred's gonna

- 51:17Speaker 1: I'm going to send yourself pizzas. I'm sending that station
- 51:20Speaker 1: dozens of pizzas with anti double antrovies and every one

- 51:31Speaker 1: there you got it. Yeah, you nail that. It comes
- 51:35Speaker 1: out by the pizza man. You know you're doing good. Now.
- 51:38Speaker 1: I want to beat this exactly. No anchovies. No, what's

- 52:02Speaker 1: do I do the spin. There. Yeah, a couple of onions.
- 52:06Speaker 1: That's it. No, somebody on this show actually has a
- 52:10Speaker 1: pizza oven at the house. You might be, well, you
- 52:15Speaker 1: know it's not me. You know it's not me. She
- 52:19Speaker 1: got a regular oven she don't need and I don't
- 52:23Speaker 1: use that right, it's not me. I wish I had
- 52:27Speaker 1: one am I Land Junior. Does somebody on this show
- 52:29Speaker 1: have a pizza oven? No, it's brick. It's nice too.
- 52:35Speaker 1: It's nice everything. He pretty much has it his house
- 52:38Speaker 1: much nice. Yeah. Pepperoni, onion, double cheese, black olives okay,
- 52:46Speaker 1: jalapino Yeah, really, you really want to get strong with
- 52:51Speaker 1: it sometimes I do beef okay, onion, black olive, jalapino,
- 52:58Speaker 1: pineapp ok Yeah, I love the pineapple. It was an
- 53:04Speaker 1: acquired taste though once I moved to La it was
- 53:06Speaker 1: an acquired taste. It works, but I like it now. Yeah.
- 53:11Speaker 1: And the little peppery sweet. In case you didn't know,
- 53:17Speaker 1: he's the one with the pizza oven. Moving on, Moving on,
- 53:24Speaker 1: Coming up. At the top of the hour, we got

- 53:51Speaker 1: and click submit Strawberry Letter. We could be reading your
- 53:54Speaker 1: letter live I'm the air popup, just like we're going
- 53:57Speaker 1: to read this one right here, right now, and you know,
- 54:00Speaker 1: ever know, it could be yours. It could be yours.
- 54:03Speaker 1: Buckle up and hold on tight. We got it for
- 54:04Speaker 1: you here. It is the Strawberry Never thankn nephew. Subject
- 54:09Speaker 1: my ex children aren't welcome. Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm a
- 54:13Speaker 1: forty eight year old married man and my wife and
- 54:16Speaker 1: I have family. She has one son from her last marriage,
- 54:20Speaker 1: and I have two sons and two stepsons from my
- 54:23Speaker 1: last marriage. And my new wife is having a hard
- 54:26Speaker 1: time accepting my stepsons as part of the blend. I've
- 54:30Speaker 1: been in my stepson's live since one of them was
- 54:33Speaker 1: nine and the other was eleven. Now they're twenty and
- 54:36Speaker 1: twenty two. My new wife is an outstanding mother. She's
- 54:39Speaker 1: a great businesswoman, gourmet cook, and the most beautiful girl
- 54:43Speaker 1: in the world to me. But it is her attitude
- 54:46Speaker 1: that I have a big problem with. We bought a
- 54:48Speaker 1: house together after the wedding, and I compromised and told
- 54:52Speaker 1: her my sons could share a bedroom when they came.
- 54:55Speaker 1: When they come visit. They're preteens and almost six feet tall.
- 54:59Speaker 1: But I told her it was fine. Her son is
- 55:02Speaker 1: ten and he has his own bedroom because he lives
- 55:05Speaker 1: with us full time. There's a bonus room on the
- 55:07Speaker 1: third floor of our home, and I suggested that we
- 55:10Speaker 1: put a nice sleep or so up there for when
- 55:13Speaker 1: my stepsons come to visit. They live out of state,
- 55:16Speaker 1: and we spend time together when they're in town. My
- 55:19Speaker 1: wife told me that they're my ex and they should
- 55:22Speaker 1: stay elsewhere. I'm infuriated by her rudeness when it comes
- 55:27Speaker 1: to these boys, just because they're my ex wife's sons
- 55:30Speaker 1: and she doesn't like my ex wife. She's taking it
- 55:33Speaker 1: out on the boys. One of them has a son,
- 55:36Speaker 1: and he considers me the grandfather. But my wife says
- 55:39Speaker 1: I'm not the grandfather and I should be focused on
- 55:42Speaker 1: her son and my biological sons only. I'm a grown
- 55:45Speaker 1: man and I will see these boys and I don't
- 55:48Speaker 1: care if it causes a rift in our marriage. How
- 55:51Speaker 1: can she call them my ex children? Should I reconsider
- 55:55Speaker 1: marriage and make her the ex? Wow? You know what,
- 55:59Speaker 1: that's a wrong, strong question right there. You just asked,
- 56:02Speaker 1: but you ask it for a reason. It's concerning to you.
- 56:07Speaker 1: You have some thoughts about it. You know you're thinking
- 56:11Speaker 1: about it. And I'll start by saying, I think you're
- 56:13Speaker 1: right and just about everything. I agree with you. Your
- 56:18Speaker 1: wife is selfish. Your wife is being mean, and she
- 56:21Speaker 1: needs to grow the heck up, she really does. What
- 56:24Speaker 1: have these boys done to her? Her not liking their mom,
- 56:28Speaker 1: that's no excuse to treat them badly. These are boys,
- 56:33Speaker 1: and how are they going to learn to be good men,
- 56:36Speaker 1: good good parents, you know, good productive men in society
- 56:41Speaker 1: if they don't have a good role model like you.
- 56:43Speaker 1: I mean, I think that's what we as women and
- 56:46Speaker 1: men talk about a lot. We think about it a lot,
- 56:48Speaker 1: especially in our community. Good men, good fathers, and the
- 56:52Speaker 1: home husband's, good boyfriends, good sons, etcetera, etcetera. We want
- 56:56Speaker 1: our black men to grow up and be good people.
- 56:59Speaker 1: And she's a problem, not you or the boys. She
- 57:01Speaker 1: can't make a difference between these boys just because you
- 57:05Speaker 1: guys have one together and you have you know, biological
- 57:09Speaker 1: sons and except sons as you call them. I think
- 57:13Speaker 1: it's creating major problems in the family, as you've so,
- 57:16Speaker 1: you know, as you've spoken about and written us about,
- 57:21Speaker 1: and it's causing problems in your marriage. I don't think
- 57:24Speaker 1: she understands the seriousness of all of this. She's in
- 57:27Speaker 1: her feelings because she doesn't like the ex wife, and
- 57:30Speaker 1: you need to have a real talk with her about
- 57:33Speaker 1: her attitude and and uh, you know how she's starting
- 57:36Speaker 1: to tear down this marriage. I mean, it's not like
- 57:38Speaker 1: the older boys live there permanently. They live out of state.
- 57:42Speaker 1: When they come, they're only coming to visit. I think
- 57:45Speaker 1: she's wrong, and I think you're right, and I think
- 57:47Speaker 1: you need to let her know. Steve, I don't really
- 57:50Speaker 1: have a lot to say about this letter. I really don't,
- 57:53Speaker 1: because I just don't like it. This woman that you're
- 57:59Speaker 1: married to. See, here's a deal for everybody involved. Whenever
- 58:05Speaker 1: you get married, remarried, or you married late in life,
- 58:11Speaker 1: that person that you marry is gonna come with a history.
- 58:16Speaker 1: Nobody's history free. Now it comes with an ex marriage,
- 58:23Speaker 1: some step children, as they call him, some stepson. That's
- 58:27Speaker 1: the package. Either way you go on the woman's side
- 58:31Speaker 1: or the man's side, that's the deal. Because a man
- 58:37Speaker 1: marries you, that does not turn off his feelings for
- 58:42Speaker 1: everybody in his prior life. The only person he should
- 58:46Speaker 1: cut the feelings off for is the ex girlfriend or wife.
- 58:50Speaker 1: Now he's done that, You're not having a problem with
- 58:54Speaker 1: him because he's continued to see the ex wife. You're
- 58:58Speaker 1: having a problem because he still has a relationship with
- 59:02Speaker 1: her children, which he met when they were nine and eleven. Yeah,
- 59:11Speaker 1: nine and eleven. Now they're twenty and twenty two. But
- 59:16Speaker 1: now you want him because they're twenty and twenty two.
- 59:20Speaker 1: They live out of state. Now the ho ho holo
- 59:24Speaker 1: of world. Now you have Okay. The man has two
- 59:27Speaker 1: sons and two stepsons from the last marriage with the woman. Right,
- 59:31Speaker 1: the new wife don't like the stepsons from the last marriage.
- 59:35Speaker 1: She wants them out. The new wife is an outstanding mother,
- 59:41Speaker 1: she's a great businesswoman, gourmet cook, and the most beautiful
- 59:44Speaker 1: girl in the world to me. But it's her attitude
- 59:47Speaker 1: that I have a big problem with. Well, now we're
- 59:50Speaker 1: gonna run up into the problem of what I've learned
- 59:53Speaker 1: a long time ago. I don't care how fine a
- 59:56Speaker 1: woman is. There's a man somewhere sick and tired of
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: her ass. And now here we go. The beautiful girl
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: in the world got an ugly attitude. And it's about
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: some children who are some young men now, And when
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: I come back, I'm gonna tell you why your relationship.
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: But these men are so important. Okay, that's much all right,
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: Thank you, Steve, Thank you, Steve. We'll have part two
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: of your response coming up at twenty three minutes after
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: the hour. Today's subject my ex children aren't welcome. We'll
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: get back into it right after this. You're listening Steve
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Come on, Steve. Let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: The subject my ex children aren't welcome. Okay, this man
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: is forty eight years old, he's married to his wife.
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: They've got a blended family now. She has one son
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: from her last marriage. The man that writing a letter
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: got two sons and two stepsons from his last marriage,
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: and the new wife is having a hard time accepting
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: the stepsons as part of the blend. The problem is
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: he's been in the stepsons lives when one was nine
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: and one was eleven, and then him and his ax
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: had two children. Now they're twenty and twenty two. And
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: your new wife, as I was standing up a mother,
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: she is businesswoman, gonna make cooking beautiful girl on outside,
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: is having a big problem with the two stepsons from
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: your previous marriage. We bought a house together after the
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: wed and I compromise and told him my sons could
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: share a bedroom when they come to visit. They're past
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: their preteens and almost six feet tall, but I told
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: it was fine. Her son is ten. He's got his
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: own bedroom because he lives full time. There's a bonus
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: room in the third floor of our home, and I
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: suggested that they put a sleeper sofa up there for
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: when his stepsons come to visit. Now, these are the
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: twenty and the twenty two year old dudes. Okay, Now,
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: my wife told me that my ex children, that they
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: your ex children. They should stay elsewhere. I'm infuriated at
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: her rusiness when it come to these boys, just because
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: they're my ex wife's sons. She doesn't like my ex wife.
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: She's taking it out on the boys. One of them
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: has a son, and he considers me the grandfather. But
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: my wife says I'm not the grandfather. I should be
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: focused on her son and my biological sons only. I'm
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: a grown man. I'll see these boys now. I don't
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: care what riffs are costing our marriage. How can she
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: call them my ex children? Should I reconsider marriage and
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: make her the ex Well, here's a deal. She's got
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: to glurn. She's got to learn something him. See what
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: pisses me off when men step up to be men? Yes, yes,
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: and take on the role of somebody else's children. Lady,
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: you you got a son that don't belong to him
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: if he've accepted him, he's got two sons that don't
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: belong to you, and you've accepted him. Now, the fact
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: that he accepted his ex wife's two sons and been
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: in their life since they ninety eleven. See, instead of
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: calling them step fathers, they are to start calling them
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: step up fathers because he didn't stepped up and took
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: the place of some ragged ass man that wouldn't spend
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: no time with the boys. Not the boys then had
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: a son and calling him their grandfather because they got
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: a connection to a man. You want him to break
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: the bond with these boys because it's your ex wife's son.
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: You trifling lady, Come on, come on, But you know
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: it's always the case man, Sometimes not all women, but
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: there are sometimes women always using children as a pond. Now,
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: why would this man give up this relationship with this
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: twenty and his twenty two year old dude that really
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: still need him in their life? Because man, the twenty
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: twenty two boys, you you finish step on some land
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: minds out here and that for the enyear old dude
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: can help them through it. And I think this lady's
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: right now. I don't think you need to make because
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: your ex wife yet, not yet, because she does have
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: some good qualities. She just doesn't understand. But if she
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: could look at what happens in our community and in
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: our culture, from the fact that so many young girls
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: don't have fathers and so many young men don't have fathers,
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: to see a man like yours that steps up and
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: takes on the role and refuses to give up the
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: reins of being a father in some fatherless boys lives.
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: If she don't see that something wrong with her and
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: it don't hurt nothing for him to have relationship. These
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: dudes live out of state and they twenty and twenty two,
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: so they come to visit. What's wrong with that? Need
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: to focus on your own sons. Hell, boys need a
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: big brother. You don't see that now, But you're so
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: busy trying to hate on the ex wife. You keep
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: on you're gonna mess around and be an ex wife
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: calling it this letter, so good luck. Okay, take care,
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: take it easy. Hey, hey, I won't be needing the
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: big sleeper sofa upstairs. We're all moving, right, that's what's
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: gonna happen. Kudos, Bye bye, good man, I mean man.
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: You know what when when you have a man who's
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: caring and understanding, he cares about something that ain't really his,
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: but he didn't take it on. Can you not understand
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: that that's your man, That that's the man you have,
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: That that man with that heart is your man. Now, Yeah,
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: because God forbid something happened to you. God forbid something
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: happened to you. You do remember he took on your
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: son from previous marriage to not right? Yeah, since you
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: making him get rid of men, get rid of boys.
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: Suppose something happened to you and then he'd get rid
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: of yours. You see what we had with this Yee,
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: that could happen, but it's not. This is your man. Yeah,
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: this is a good man, and this is how you
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: want to treat him. I don't like women like this.
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: I don't like her. I ain't even at home. Women
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: don't like women like this, just like we don't like
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: bad men. We don't like that. This ain't about bad
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: But I'm just saying we don't like her either. That's
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: all I'm fashing. Stay on the subject with you that
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: it's not all right? Listen, post your comments on Today's
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: Strawberry Letter at Steve Harvey FM and on Instagram and Facebook,
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: and check out the Strawberry Letter podcast on demand now

- 1:06:53Speaker 1: know what time it is, It's time for Junior and
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: Sports Talk right after this. You're listening to Steve Harvey
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: Morning Show. Now it is time for Junior and Sports Talk.
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: What you got mister junior? Okay, Shirley, But let me
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: just remind Dallas Three days away, showtime April Foods, Comedy

- 1:07:17Speaker 1: Three days away. All right, unc, Well, over the weekend. Un.
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: I know you're in Dubidy. You don't know nothing just
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: going on over here. But Deshaun Watson was formally introduced
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: as the Cleveland Traveler. My back, Well, Deshaun Watson was
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: introduced as the Cleveland Browns quarterback. Formally introduced now he
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: had the press sference yeah, formally they had it. They
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: rolled out the car before he sat there. Man, but
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: he in the press company, he was yeah, he was
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: asked about the sexual allegations. He did they need to
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: ask him about it? And then Watson answered with he
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: was shocked, and he still maintains his innocence. He says
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: that he plans not to settle any of the civil cases.
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: So we just go to see he's just gonna maintain
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: his innercy. He's not giving it. Here's here's my opinion
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: of it. If you did something to any woman, you
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: have to pay for that, clear, point blank, no questions asked.
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: Here's the problem with the case that they have right now.
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: They took their strong nine cases in front of the
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: grand jury and they found nothing to charge him with.
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: So now I've heard that the guy who is bringing
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: these charges happens to be the next door neighbor to
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: the owner of the Texans yep. And this came after
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: he said you've demanded a trade. Now I've heard that.
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: Don't know if it's true, but it's a very very
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: strong rumor because the address he is, he is, and
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: he is right next door. So now I'm thinking this
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: ambulance chasing guy that rounded up all these cases easy
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: to find out find twenty two people who who's been
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: a masseuse because it's you know, you find them online
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: and stuff like that. So you got that. But now
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: there are women because Deshaun Watson's lawyer has found women
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: who have given him massages and praising him, talking about
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: how professional he was in a nice guy. And so
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: now in this civil case, even though you don't have
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: to be as proven in a burden to proof as different,
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: it has thrown quite a bit of doubt on it
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: because they took their nine strong cases to the jury
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: and nothing. So now I'm just curious as to what
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: this is really all about. If he's guilty of something,
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: he has to pay, but if he's not, I wish
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: something would happen to people who falsely accused people ruined
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: their reputation and all like that, and then just skip
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: skip the loo down where we didn't get no money,
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: skipped the loop. So that's my opinion. Though. No, well
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: he's dead though, man, so you know he's still he
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: about to be a pre all right, junior, thank you.
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, Will Smith
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: apologizes to Chris Rock Finally, we'll talk about it right
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to the Stave Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: All right, So Will Smith has finally apologized to Chris Rock.
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: He did it yesterday and said that slapping Chris was
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: unacceptable and inexcusable. As we all know, Will did not
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: apologize to Chris Sunday night during his Best Actor acceptance speech,
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: but now he is acknowledging that violence in all of
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: its forms is poisonous and destructive. Here's a full apology
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: that Will post it on his Instagram page. He says,
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: violence and all of its forms is poisonous and destructive.
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: My behavior at last night's Academy Awards was unacceptable and
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: then inexcusable. Jokes at my expense are part of the job,
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: but a joke about Jada's medical condition was way too
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: much for me to bear, and I reacted emotionally. I
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: would like to publicly apologize to you, Chris. I was
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: out of line and I was wrong. I'm embarrassed and
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: my actions are not indicative of the man I want
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: to be. There is no place for violence in a
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: world of love and kindness. I would also like to
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: apologize to the Academy the producers of the show, all
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: the attendees, and everyone watching around the world. I would
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: like to apologize to the william family and my King
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: Richard family. I deeply regret my behavior has stained what
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: has been an otherwise gorgeous journey for all of us
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: be and that sincere to it. Well, I can't speak
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: for him. Tell me to answer your question. I wish
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: the apology had come Sunday night, when he apologized to
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: the academy and everyone else on Sunday night, That's when
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: I wish he had made this apology. I mean, I'm
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: glad he finally you made an apology to Chris Rock,
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: but I wish it it comes. Yeah, yeah, I wish
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: it was more of like I don't have to know
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: about it and verbally took Chris like a phone call
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: to Chris. Yeah, yeah, this is a step. So I'm
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: not upset about it. This is a step. Yeah. I
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: think he should have done it publicly, because he slapped
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: them publicly publicly. And then yeah, well see that's the thing.
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: You gave the apology to the academy, then you know
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: the incident happened. You apologize to the academy and your peers,
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: you didn't apologize to Chris then your party. You're doing
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: too much to slap me. You're doing way too much slap. Yes,
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: he did not realize the magnitude of it until after
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: the fact. I've made some very very public mistakes, and
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: you don't really know the magnitude and after until after
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: the public gets a hold to it. The problem that
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: I have with this, See, I understand the apology. I
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: also understand what it's coming from because I look into
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: the words everybody's saying talking about my wife's I'm cool
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: with jokes and jokes about me, blah blah blah, but
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: when you talk about my wife's medical condition, that ain't
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: what the man said though. See, there was no mention
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: of a disease or anything like that. I don't even think.
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: I don't I really don't even think Chris knew anything
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: about the medical condition. It was about her wearing her
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: hair short and her looking like Demi Moore that and
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: and said, because all it was was about the g
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: I Jane joke. It wasn't about no, you look like
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: you know, uh, you know, you know now if you
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: say something medical, you know, you look like a you know,
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: you know, you look you are posted girl for chemo
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: or something like that. You can't get your ass whoop.
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: I'm in all support or we are walking up on
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: that stage and knocking his ass out because if you
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: do my wife publicly in a negative way, here I come.
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: See I'm with that. Yeah, but don't but but no, no,
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: let me finish what I'm saying, but that I don't
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: apology with that word in it. And then again to
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: make sure you apologize to the academy. See, the most
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: important thing is that you know that that doubling back
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: making sure you talking with the academy when you put
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: those words in there's like this is why I did it,
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: So now you justify what you did. Now you won't
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: come back with the violence thing. But I did it
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: because yeah, it was like he was trying to justify
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: the violence. But I apologize. But that's the button. Uh huh. Yeah,
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: But I don't. I don't think. I don't think Steve,
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: you would have like I don't think I would have.
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: But yeah, I mean, I'm the craziest one on the show,
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: y'all know that. But I'm glad I go. But I
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: got a wife that that's by my side that ain't
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: gonna lett me walk up down and do nothing crazy
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: like that. You're gonna be like, you gonna sit your
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: hands down. You can't. I think I would personally be like,
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: I'm gonna go to the back and talk to him.
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: Right all right, We'll have more of the Steve Harvey

- 1:17:03Speaker 1: get out of bed every single morning. We're not putting
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: that pep in my eye. Yeah, I'm not going to
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: leg lego. It don't hurt that much every day though,
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: I don't hurt. We're not putting this tabasco in my heart.
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: That's what we're not going blind your stupid right, then
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: you're gonna end up stepping on legos all the time,
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: any damn? Go to lego? All right, here's what would
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: you rather bite off a piece of your tongue or
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: fall into a pole injuring your private bar? I gotta
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: go with b What Wait, what you're talking about biting
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: off your tongue. Yeah, yeah, just a piece of it,
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: not on your whole tongue, just a piece of your
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: and in comparison and falling off the pole and landed
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: on myself, right, you're falling on a pole and injured
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: your private I'm not doing that. No, I don't give
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: a damn. You're gonna take this tongue off. I'm definitely that.
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: I know. Tommy surprised me with ruined. Ruined, the one
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: thing that giving me mo plasure than any tongue. Let me.
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: He has created some problems to put his ass on
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: punishment many times I can't. I can't put him out
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: of commission. Okay, all right? Would you rather have great sex?
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: Listen to this? Would you rather have great sex with
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: someone who is eighty years old? Or have terrible, I
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: mean terrible, the worst sex ever with someone who is
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: twenty five? Terrible work with I think I can't. I can't.
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: That that aided, that's that's I can't do this. The
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: best sex ever, though, the best sever ever? What is
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: she doing? What is she doesn't matter? It's the best.
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: I don't know, but I'm gonna find ever. That's what
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: I'm I'm gonna find out. Come on, miss had It. Yeah,
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: I miss had I know you're gonna take a while,
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: but miss Hattie. Heah, all right now, don't fall now.
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: My grandmother's name on my father's side, Grandma Hattie. I'm
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: gonna racial blood pressure up today. Yeah, I miss had It.
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: Oh you Oh wait a minutements. You know what, Julian,
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: You've actually changed my mind. You're going, You're going over there. Yeah,
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: I'm with Julian. Man, it's the best sex ever think
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: about I don't know the best. All right, we gotta go,
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: we gotta go. But coming up next to it is
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: our last break of the day at forty nine minutes
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: after some closing from Steve Harvey. Right after this, you're
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, guys,
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: here we are our last break of the day. And listen.
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: It's been a great Tuesday. It's been wonderful. I'm just
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: glad to be here. I'm just thinking about our last
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: break when we did our would you rather? Would you
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: rather have your best sex ever with someone who's eighty
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: or the worst sex ever with someone who's twenty five? Yeah,
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: two out of three picked eighty. Tommy picked the twenty
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: five year olds. Yeah, that whole, but I was going
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: with Tommy for a minute. But that whole. But I've
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: yeah yeah, yeah yeah yeah but that yeah, but the
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: best ever, best sex of ever. Why wouldn't you want
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: the best? Well, Tommy, you know, I do hope to
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: be eighty one day. So it had a lot to
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: do with my ans. We will see, we will see,
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: we will see, we will see. Yeah, we'll see. Hey,
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: my closing before you get to hey, you know what,
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: I wanted to share something that you all, Oh, your friends, Uh,
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: take inventory often with your friends. But then again, you
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: don't have to take inventory with your friends so much,
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: but you do have to take inventory with your associates
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: all the time because everybody associated with you. You have
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: to remember some people are in your life just for
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: a season. Everybody ain't gonna make it all the way
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: to the end with you. Everybody ain't going to the table.
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: Some of your friends are seasonal friends. And it don't
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: make them bad people. It's just this is as far
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: as they can go on the journey. They can't go
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: no higher, especially if you are on the move. If
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: you are on the move and trying to progress and
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: better your life. That everybody not gonna make that trip.
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: Everybody ain't gonna stand the change. Everybody ain't gonna be
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: able to handle the new you because they're gonna want
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: to remind you of who you was, because that new
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: you is leaving them behind. And you got to be
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: careful of that, because jealousy sets in, envy sets in,
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: resentment sets in. You got to be conscious of that.
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: And sometimes when you're a good person, you don't know
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: how to look for those things because you expect everybody
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: to be just like you. Well they're not. They're not.
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: And I'm gonna tell you something, Man, if you got
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: somebody in your life that you're trying to point out
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: an issue too, I want you to learn this that
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: I had to learn the hard way. You can't change
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: someone who doesn't see an issue in their actions. I'm
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: gonna repeat that and I'm gonna explain it to you.
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: You can't change someone who doesn't see an issue in
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: their actions. Have you ever tried to point out something
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: to a person that you thought would help them out
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: or something they was doing and they don't have no
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: problem with what they're doing. They just don't see it.
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: I mean they just don't see it, and to you,
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: it's as obvious as all get out. Everybody around them
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: knows this is a problem and they don't have a
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: problem with it. You can't change that person. You can
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: stop trying, because in order to fix a problem, you
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: must identify a problem, and then once you identified you
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: gotta admit that that's your problem. A person don't do that,
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: you can't change them. It's like it's like trying to
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: get a person to go down to who's an alcoholic
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: and trying to get him to go to get some treatment.
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: If they don't think that they're drinking is an issue,
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: you can talk to, you blew in the face, you
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: can have all the interventions you want. If until they
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: come to the conclusion that I have a problem, that
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: I'm drinking a tirely too much dog, you can't stop nobody.
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: I've had a person in my life really close to
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: me man and I knew they had a drinking problem.
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: Talk to him over and over and over and over,
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: but until they finally said, you know what, man, ain't
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: dog right, I got a problem. Now I need some help.
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: Now he can move forward. But if you're trying to
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: change somebody, then they don't see an issue with their actions.
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: You wasting your time. And I'm saying all this to
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: say this, y'all, just be conscious and it don't make
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: you a bad person. When you got to shed some
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: of the some of the people, it doesn't. It just
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: doesn't make you a bad person. It's just you're taking
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: care of your journey. Everybody, come what you ain't going
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: with you? Everybody start on the trip, ain't gonna finish
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: the trip. All you know this, I'm gonna tell you
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: right now. If you're over thirty years old, you already
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. It's true. You already know now.
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: If you're twenty twenty one, you're on you may not
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: understand that. But if you, oh, you're thirty years old,
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: you know what I'm talking about is true. It's taking inventory,
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: just watching be conscious about it, and then just do
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: the things that's necessary to keep your life progressive and
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: don't get held to a whole old energist like you
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: got to keep it real. Most people that's telling you
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: to keep it real wants you to stay right where
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: you are so they can be a part of it.
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: But you're objective in life. Ain't to keep it real.
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: You're objective in life is to keep it moving. Keep
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: it y'all. Keep it moving, y'all, on with and upwards.
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: And anybody that's not trying to aid you, assist you,
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: pull for you, clap for you, cheer for you, pray
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: for you. You don't need that. You do not need that.
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: And sometimes sad to say they are family, and sometimes
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: sad to say they are your so called friends. So
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: check the people in your life and making necessary adjustments. Okay,
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: it'll help you on your journey. And don't feel bad
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: about it when you gotta let people go because they
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: didn't even tell you. They wouldn't witch you no more.
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: You just found out you did. Those are my closing remarks.
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: Hope you enjoyed the day. Hey listen, here's some important information. Y'all.
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: Talk to God today. He would love to hear from me.
