- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all back a suit, looking back to back down,
- 0:13Speaker 1: giving them like theming bu bu things and it's not good.
- 0:21Speaker 1: Steve Hartley, I don't join me. You gotta use that
- 1:01Speaker 1: turn out, very You gotta turn to turn them out.
- 1:43Speaker 1: Got to turn them out, the turnout, turn the water,
- 1:47Speaker 1: the water. Come come on your back. Uh huh. I
- 2:02Speaker 1: show will a good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice,
- 2:07Speaker 1: Come on dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey
- 2:12Speaker 1: got this radio show. Man, Hi got here. I really
- 2:17Speaker 1: can't explain it. Only by the grace of God, that's
- 2:20Speaker 1: all I can really tell you. I was talking with
- 2:25Speaker 1: a buddy the other day and he was telling me.
- 2:27Speaker 1: He said, Man, he had an interesting philosophy about it.
- 2:32Speaker 1: He said. You know, you can have dreams and visions,
- 2:34Speaker 1: he say, but God, God will never show you what
- 2:40Speaker 1: all he has for you. He won't show you all
- 2:44Speaker 1: of it because he knows you will mess it up.
- 2:49Speaker 1: And you know what, man, I thought about that, And wow,
- 2:52Speaker 1: how true is that? Okay? I know that I got
- 2:57Speaker 1: a radio show. I didn't see it. It's just become
- 3:01Speaker 1: this major blessing for me. I didn't see it. But
- 3:05Speaker 1: if I would have seen it and known when he
- 3:09Speaker 1: had planned on giving it to me, I would have
- 3:12Speaker 1: messed it up because Number one, my first question would
- 3:15Speaker 1: have been to him, why I got to wait so long?
- 3:19Speaker 1: Why don't I go down hill and start on the
- 3:22Speaker 1: radio now? And then I be in radio and then
- 3:27Speaker 1: tidy see that God? But see the thing about God
- 3:31Speaker 1: is God don't need your help a matter of fact,
- 3:34Speaker 1: that he don't really want it. All he want is
- 3:37Speaker 1: you to love him and obey if you can do
- 3:40Speaker 1: them two things I think. I think I could be wrong.
- 3:43Speaker 1: I think he'd be really cool with us. So had
- 3:46Speaker 1: I known about these blessings that he had for me,
- 3:51Speaker 1: I would have messed him up because I would have
- 3:53Speaker 1: put my thinking in the figuring process, and that would
- 3:56Speaker 1: have jacked it all up. That's the first thing I
- 4:00Speaker 1: asked him, Why I gotta wait so long? And then
- 4:02Speaker 1: if he has shown me what I was gonna have
- 4:04Speaker 1: to do to get it, I would have showed messed
- 4:07Speaker 1: that up. Man, I ain't gonna do that. I ain't
- 4:10Speaker 1: gonna do all of that. Wait a minute, I got
- 4:13Speaker 1: to go through all of these mishaps in my life.
- 4:16Speaker 1: So when I get the radio show, I have something
- 4:19Speaker 1: to share. Man, why don't I just read a couple
- 4:23Speaker 1: of books and share that experience with them? Now, See,
- 4:27Speaker 1: I want you to know what you're talking about. I
- 4:30Speaker 1: want you to be transparent. I want people to be
- 4:33Speaker 1: able to identify with your struggle and apply they struggle
- 4:37Speaker 1: to it and see that they can get over. See.
- 4:40Speaker 1: God never shows you all of it because he know
- 4:43Speaker 1: will mess it up. I wouldn't have any books, I
- 4:47Speaker 1: certainly please know. I would not be the host of
- 4:50Speaker 1: family if you can't tell you that. It is amazing man,
- 4:55Speaker 1: how God works. And my invitation to everybody today is
- 5:00Speaker 1: allow God to work. You know, you can ask him
- 5:04Speaker 1: why all you want to. And from time to time
- 5:06Speaker 1: I still do no good for me. But that old
- 5:09Speaker 1: why me, old woe is me? Lord? Thing that don't
- 5:11Speaker 1: really get it for me, because when I start asking
- 5:15Speaker 1: him why, I'm asking somebody who has a thought process
- 5:18Speaker 1: so high above mine that there's no way if he
- 5:21Speaker 1: told it to me, I wouldn't even get it. You
- 5:24Speaker 1: wouldn't need hunk out bright you think you are, man,
- 5:26Speaker 1: You just ain't gonna get how and why He does
- 5:28Speaker 1: it his way you're not going to understand it. But
- 5:32Speaker 1: he has a plan for each and every one of us.
- 5:35Speaker 1: And if we adhere to the plan, if we submit
- 5:38Speaker 1: ourselves to his will and just say, okay, God, what
- 5:40Speaker 1: you want me to do? I am telling you it
- 5:42Speaker 1: is the best way to live. Now. You can also
- 5:47Speaker 1: do it the way I did it early on. You
- 5:49Speaker 1: can just do what you want to do and see
- 5:52Speaker 1: how I go from now. And I will tell you
- 5:55Speaker 1: from personal experience, it's not going to go good. My
- 6:00Speaker 1: wife and I were talking the other day. As she
- 6:03Speaker 1: said something women, I had to write it down. She says, Steve,
- 6:07Speaker 1: you know the funny thing about sin? She says, sin
- 6:10Speaker 1: casts you more than you want to pay and causes
- 6:13Speaker 1: you to stay longer than you want to stay. I
- 6:19Speaker 1: ask my wife where she got dim from. She says,
- 6:21Speaker 1: some old person told it to it. She says, sin
- 6:24Speaker 1: casts you more than you want to pay and causes
- 6:27Speaker 1: you to stay longer than you want to stay. That's
- 6:30Speaker 1: the problem, man, about doing what you want to do.
- 6:33Speaker 1: Because we are all sinners. Man, all of us, all
- 6:36Speaker 1: of us, every last one of us are sinners. You
- 6:38Speaker 1: will be a sinner until you die. Now you could
- 6:41Speaker 1: be saved by grace. But you're going to be a
- 6:44Speaker 1: sinner man. You are going to make mistakes. You are
- 6:48Speaker 1: going to in your life knowingly do wrong. I bet
- 6:53Speaker 1: you will. I don't know who you think you are.
- 6:55Speaker 1: I don't know who you've been listening to. But get this,
- 6:58Speaker 1: we are sinners. We were born into a world that
- 7:03Speaker 1: is sinful. Now it's okay, it's okay, it's our world.
- 7:08Speaker 1: But we can make the best of it because we
- 7:10Speaker 1: can form a relationship with God and we can go
- 7:13Speaker 1: to war with this thing, you know, and we can win.
- 7:16Speaker 1: You can actually get over. Being born into this world
- 7:20Speaker 1: is not an end all. That doesn't mean you're doomed,
- 7:24Speaker 1: nah man, because God is available to give you life,
- 7:27Speaker 1: and not only give you life, but give it to
- 7:29Speaker 1: you more abundantly. I have more of an abundant life
- 7:34Speaker 1: than I've ever had. If you took away the finances,
- 7:38Speaker 1: trust and believe, I have so many things I could
- 7:41Speaker 1: tell you that I'm grateful for. For my wife, for
- 7:45Speaker 1: my children, man, for my family, for the few friends
- 7:50Speaker 1: that I have, for the work that I do, man
- 7:55Speaker 1: for the respect that some people that I feel around
- 7:58Speaker 1: some people from the repute Haitian I've earned now I
- 8:01Speaker 1: ain't cool with everybody. I got that, I'm cool. I
- 8:04Speaker 1: ain't cool with everybody. Everybody ain't cool with me. Everybody
- 8:08Speaker 1: don't like me. Man, get past that right there. I
- 8:11Speaker 1: don't care what you do. Everybody ain't gonna like you.
- 8:14Speaker 1: Some people didn't like Jesus. What did he do? What
- 8:18Speaker 1: did he do wrong to anybody? Show it to me
- 8:23Speaker 1: where he was just out there, just messing over folks,
- 8:26Speaker 1: and you could justify all that happened to him. Just
- 8:30Speaker 1: show it to me. But he knew everybody ain't gonna
- 8:33Speaker 1: like me. I just come to save y'all. Understand. I
- 8:37Speaker 1: got you. Ain't feeling me. You're gonna spit on me.
- 8:40Speaker 1: You're gonna hang me up there, You're gonna pierce my side.
- 8:43Speaker 1: You're gonna do all that to me. When you get through,
- 8:45Speaker 1: I still love you. That's a powerful statement. Man, God
- 8:49Speaker 1: will take care of you if you form this relationship
- 8:53Speaker 1: with him. He has something for you. He has a
- 8:57Speaker 1: plan for you that is beyond your imagine. He will
- 9:01Speaker 1: give you the desires of your heart. But he also
- 9:04Speaker 1: has some stuff in store for you that you're not
- 9:06Speaker 1: even asking for. That he is willing to ship to
- 9:10Speaker 1: an address that belongs to you as long as you
- 9:15Speaker 1: stay on the right path and are trying your best,
- 9:19Speaker 1: God to ship you to blessing anywhere. Because please know
- 9:21Speaker 1: He's done it to me. I'm a living witness to
- 9:24Speaker 1: this that God will ship you blessings. And you ain't
- 9:26Speaker 1: gonna be perfect. But if he know your heart, man,
- 9:29Speaker 1: if he know you trying to do better, if he
- 9:31Speaker 1: see you trying to change, if he see you trying
- 9:34Speaker 1: to get it right, he understands that you're gonna stumble
- 9:38Speaker 1: all the way through this thing. But if he know
- 9:41Speaker 1: your heart and he know you trying to get it right,
- 9:44Speaker 1: and you're doing the best you can, boy, here ships
- 9:47Speaker 1: some stuff your way. Man, you really be tripping, man,
- 9:50Speaker 1: You would really be tripping. Steve Harvey got a radio show. Man.
- 9:55Speaker 1: It's crazy, ain't it. You're listening. Ladies and gentlemen. We
- 10:03Speaker 1: have it, don't or do we? We're looking for it, Stee,
- 10:09Speaker 1: what you're talking about? Your undivided attention, because it's about
- 10:14Speaker 1: to go down. Steve Harvey Morning Show, his own living, vivid,
- 10:20Speaker 1: livacious color Ladies and gentlemen owning poppet Shirley Strawberry poppet Steve,
- 10:28Speaker 1: Good morning, Colin Farrell. It is on and popping. Good morning,
- 10:33Speaker 1: Steve's sub junior Morning up best mentor I know, King
- 10:40Speaker 1: of pranks, nephew, Tommy, your side in the building on
- 10:43Speaker 1: the steed right here, right here where else? Another day
- 10:46Speaker 1: going by today he must be voting on impeachment. See
- 10:51Speaker 1: set up, giving some popcorn? Watch this? You gotta mixtures
- 10:58Speaker 1: cheese and and uh caramel? Are you just gonna eat? No?
- 11:02Speaker 1: I just see it straight. Uh, I just see it straight,
- 11:07Speaker 1: that regular popcorn. You know, because you got to go
- 11:09Speaker 1: back and get so much. Yeah, because there's so much
- 11:12Speaker 1: going on. Girl, you leave on commercial breaks. You missed that, pitchman,
- 11:18Speaker 1: what I got to come back? I'm trying to see
- 11:23Speaker 1: if they can put a bathroom in my office where
- 11:25Speaker 1: I ain't got to leave. Man, the United States of
- 11:33Speaker 1: America is right now, see something like that. I have
- 11:40Speaker 1: friends in Africa who have called me and said, this
- 11:46Speaker 1: is ridiculous. Do you know this can't happen in Africa?
- 11:53Speaker 1: Why not believe that? So you can't stow no capital
- 11:56Speaker 1: in that Africa? No, well you're not supposed to be
- 12:01Speaker 1: able to storm one. I ain't gonna say due to
- 12:06Speaker 1: you in Africa, but it. It'll happened in one day,
- 12:09Speaker 1: it'll be over. Didn't happen? First? Fall off them steps?
- 12:18Speaker 1: Everybody back down. The president is not supposed to lie
- 12:22Speaker 1: to seventy million people telling them he won an election
- 12:26Speaker 1: that he clearly lost. It was the safest election in
- 12:30Speaker 1: the history of elections in this country. But thinking he
- 12:36Speaker 1: has all these people thinking that the election was stolen,
- 12:40Speaker 1: and they believe it in their hearts that it was stolen.
- 12:44Speaker 1: And a lot of the Republican leadership have fed into
- 12:47Speaker 1: the lie because they're afraid of his base. They think
- 12:50Speaker 1: they're such a big voting block. I don't understand why
- 12:53Speaker 1: they don't just go ahead and just admit we had
- 12:56Speaker 1: the wrong person in charge of our party. He hied
- 12:59Speaker 1: you act our agenda and made it something of his own.
- 13:03Speaker 1: I'm bad. Here's our time. Here's a chance to purge
- 13:06Speaker 1: and read ourselves of Trump. And Trump is him by
- 13:10Speaker 1: impeaching him, putting him out, putting some sanctions against him,
- 13:14Speaker 1: and fixing it where he can't ever run again. And
- 13:19Speaker 1: that's yeah, he's saying that the yeah, it's all right. Well, listen,
- 13:34Speaker 1: coming up in thirty two minutes after the hour. Get ready,
- 13:37Speaker 1: We're gonna ask the CLO as we switch gears right
- 13:41Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to Steve Morning Show coming up
- 13:46Speaker 1: at the top of the hour and trending headlines. President
- 13:49Speaker 1: Trump said his speech that incited the riot that killed
- 13:53Speaker 1: five people in the nation's capital last week was totally appropriate. Uh.
- 13:58Speaker 1: The House we'll vote today to impeach Trump for a
- 14:03Speaker 1: second time. And Republican Senate House Majority Leader Mitch McConnell
- 14:08Speaker 1: says he's happy and he supports the impeachment. What what
- 14:13Speaker 1: did I just say to get into heaven? He's trying
- 14:22Speaker 1: to get into heaven, and I know what I'll try
- 14:26Speaker 1: to get in a statement. I know the end is near.
- 14:31Speaker 1: We'll talk about it all at the top of the hour. Uh. Yeah,
- 14:35Speaker 1: we gotta definitely talk about that. But let's switch gears
- 14:37Speaker 1: now because it's time to ask the CLO. If you
- 14:41Speaker 1: have any love questions, please um send them to us.
- 14:44Speaker 1: We'll get them on if we can. Steve, you're ready, CLO,
- 14:48Speaker 1: All right, here we go. This one is from Darien
- 14:50Speaker 1: and Dallas. Darien says, I'm the youngest of three boys
- 14:54Speaker 1: in my family, and I've always been the shortest. My
- 15:00Speaker 1: brothers have teased me for years because they'm only five eight.
- 15:04Speaker 1: But here's the thing. Here's the thing. Taller women are
- 15:08Speaker 1: my thing. And I've got one special lady that is
- 15:11Speaker 1: five to nine, but when she wears heels, she towers
- 15:14Speaker 1: over me. We have my mother's birthday coming up and
- 15:18Speaker 1: we're having a small get together. My girl wants to
- 15:21Speaker 1: go with me and meet my parents, but I'm afraid
- 15:24Speaker 1: my brothers will ruin our visit with jokes. Should I
- 15:27Speaker 1: let them meet my girl before the party? Still out?
- 15:30Speaker 1: I remember, explain something? Do you ain't gonna stop the
- 15:33Speaker 1: damn joke out for your brothers? Stop nothing, Stop these
- 15:37Speaker 1: jokes and your brothers no more than our residence, short
- 15:40Speaker 1: person is gonna stop these jokes on this damn just
- 15:43Speaker 1: don't stop. It ain't no five tall women and your thing.
- 15:51Speaker 1: They got to be hell you five eight? Well what what?
- 15:57Speaker 1: They ain't gonna be your thing? If tall women ain't
- 16:01Speaker 1: your thing, you might not have one. So we're good
- 16:04Speaker 1: with that. Bro. They take your girl onto the family union.
- 16:08Speaker 1: Ye have a nice time. Mama. You know your brother
- 16:11Speaker 1: you the youngest they fit to eat your ass? A lie?
- 16:16Speaker 1: If your damn brothers, man, what do you think gonna
- 16:20Speaker 1: happen to me. Man, listen to me. Man, however old
- 16:23Speaker 1: you are, you old enough to write into this show.
- 16:26Speaker 1: You hadn't heard all this before. You ought to have
- 16:28Speaker 1: thick skin by now. Man, take your girl on over there. Man,
- 16:31Speaker 1: it's gonna be all right. She know you shot. She
- 16:34Speaker 1: ain't gonna over that. Learned nothing new. I have a question,
- 16:37Speaker 1: Steven nephew, ever had that issue growing up? That? Yeah, tirl,
- 16:45Speaker 1: I did not write in, so we're not gonna get
- 16:48Speaker 1: on me. I did not girl did every girlfriend he
- 16:53Speaker 1: had riding his ass like a too were. I was
- 17:02Speaker 1: sitting between the humps talking about it. But he hung
- 17:05Speaker 1: in there. He got strong, you know, he worked through it.
- 17:07Speaker 1: You got strong to college, you know, turned himself into
- 17:13Speaker 1: some store making good money. As don't you got a
- 17:16Speaker 1: big ass house calls and all like that. Don't pull
- 17:25Speaker 1: up and rolled rouss it. Don'tbody even know? All right?
- 17:30Speaker 1: So I hope that answered your question. Carla Really in
- 17:34Speaker 1: Newark says I'm thirty seven years old and I'm dating
- 17:37Speaker 1: a man that is forty years old and doesn't have
- 17:40Speaker 1: a lot of sexual experience. He's in a sexless marriage.
- 17:43Speaker 1: He was in one for eight years, and he said,
- 17:46Speaker 1: he learned to live with basic sex. I want to
- 17:49Speaker 1: turn it up a notch each time we're intimate, but
- 17:51Speaker 1: he shocked every time I do something new. The other night,
- 17:55Speaker 1: he said. The other night, he said, he's concerned that
- 17:59Speaker 1: I may have too much experience in this area and
- 18:02Speaker 1: that's not the kind of woman he's looking for. I
- 18:05Speaker 1: refrain from cursing him out that night. How do I
- 18:08Speaker 1: handle this situation? What is she doing in there? Well?
- 18:12Speaker 1: If you you got something different every night, an he
- 18:19Speaker 1: ain't got a lot of experience. But you can't come
- 18:21Speaker 1: in there with all that at once, can you? Can
- 18:24Speaker 1: you space it out where you add a little something different,
- 18:27Speaker 1: like every fifth time or six times, so he can
- 18:30Speaker 1: get some time you every night you come there with
- 18:34Speaker 1: what you're doing. She says, she wants to turn it
- 18:39Speaker 1: up a notch each time they're intimate. So each right,
- 18:42Speaker 1: she does a little something right. See, See what you
- 18:46Speaker 1: got to do is you got to bring him through
- 18:48Speaker 1: this thing slow. You got to let him adjust to
- 18:50Speaker 1: these new things, let him get you, let him get
- 18:53Speaker 1: good at what asks no him, then introduce a new thing.
- 18:56Speaker 1: Anybody year you had out Yeah, yeah, okay, Because he's
- 19:02Speaker 1: been very judgmental, forty year old judgmental. He's scared of
- 19:09Speaker 1: the well, he said, she's not the kind of woman
- 19:12Speaker 1: he's looking for. Scared, No, too damn much. What is
- 19:20Speaker 1: all this fault? What's she doing? Wait? What you got
- 19:30Speaker 1: in the pillowcase? Turn that down? What is that? Turn
- 19:42Speaker 1: it down? What is that? It's too loud? What is that?
- 19:50Speaker 1: All right? We're moving women whom who Okay, sounded like
- 20:07Speaker 1: slavery at some point. You know, he's amazing. Hola whoa whoa, whoa,
- 20:14Speaker 1: whoa whoa dead No burn mayonnaise? All right, thank you?
- 20:27Speaker 1: See mayonnaise coming up next to nephew would run that
- 20:34Speaker 1: prank back? Hell you're listening to coming up at the
- 20:43Speaker 1: top of the hour, miss Anna standing by with our
- 20:45Speaker 1: national news. President Trump said his speech that incited the
- 20:48Speaker 1: riot last week that killed five people in the nation's
- 20:51Speaker 1: capital was totally appropriate. Today, the House will vote to
- 20:56Speaker 1: impeach Trump for a second time. I know he's totally lost. Yeah. Uh.
- 21:03Speaker 1: Plus an entertainment news Vogue magazine is responding to the
- 21:07Speaker 1: vice president elect the cover controversy. We'll talk about all
- 21:10Speaker 1: of these stories at the top of the hour, but
- 21:12Speaker 1: right now, the nephew is here with run that prank
- 21:15Speaker 1: back what you got for his nest? But man, but man,
- 21:21Speaker 1: that's the tattle. Let's go cat. Hello. Hey, I'm trying
- 21:25Speaker 1: to reach von Please. This is Vaughan. This is Darius.
- 21:30Speaker 1: Darius with human resources. How are you? I'm doing fun?
- 21:33Speaker 1: Can I help you? Yeah? Listen, we um have an
- 21:37Speaker 1: incident that has taken place at the job. You actually,
- 21:41Speaker 1: what floor are you on? Vin? I'm all for twelve floor? Twelve?
- 21:47Speaker 1: All right? So do you use the copy machine that
- 21:51Speaker 1: often on that floor? Not all the time, but I
- 21:54Speaker 1: do use it every once in a while, Okay, every
- 21:57Speaker 1: once in a while. So here's what's going on. There's
- 22:00Speaker 1: gonna be some actions being taken place here pretty soon,
- 22:03Speaker 1: some legal actions, and we're just clearing everybody. You know,
- 22:07Speaker 1: this is this is just a proper procedure that we're
- 22:09Speaker 1: having to go through. So let me just kind of
- 22:12Speaker 1: enlighten you on what's taking place. Someone on the twelfth
- 22:15Speaker 1: floor has copied their butt on a piece of paper
- 22:20Speaker 1: and the copy machine. So someone actually sat up on
- 22:23Speaker 1: the Xerox machine and copied their butt. Why someone would
- 22:26Speaker 1: do that, I have no earthly idea. But what's happening
- 22:29Speaker 1: now is everyone on your floor is gonna have to
- 22:33Speaker 1: come in and show their butt. So we're scheduling this now.
- 22:37Speaker 1: I'm thinking Friday at eleven am. Would that be suited. Yeah,
- 22:44Speaker 1: y'all talking, y'all talk about want me to come up
- 22:47Speaker 1: there and show show my show because somebody, I'm a
- 22:53Speaker 1: grown man. Okay, I'm a grown man. I didn't do that. Okay,
- 22:57Speaker 1: you know what. I believe you. I believe you whole heartedly, Von,
- 23:01Speaker 1: But just to clear your name, we have to, I
- 23:04Speaker 1: hate to say it, clear your butt as well. So
- 23:06Speaker 1: we want to make sure we're gonna find out who's
- 23:09Speaker 1: butt this is on a piece of paper that did this.
- 23:11Speaker 1: We're gonna find out. You're gonna find out who's You're
- 23:13Speaker 1: gonna find out whose cheeks those are, and you're gonna
- 23:15Speaker 1: find that real quick than our mind. All right, I'm
- 23:17Speaker 1: not doing that, man, I'm not gonna come in. You
- 23:20Speaker 1: said Friday, you're doing this Friday, undy eleven, Not coming
- 23:24Speaker 1: in my day off, pulling my paths down. Let some
- 23:27Speaker 1: strangers look at really, look at my look at my cheeks.
- 23:32Speaker 1: Talking about somebody copied. I'm not doing that. I don't
- 23:35Speaker 1: I don't want to. I don't want this to take
- 23:38Speaker 1: a turn, Von, because right now this is if you're
- 23:41Speaker 1: not if you're saying you're not coming in, then other
- 23:43Speaker 1: actions will be taking place if you don't come in
- 23:46Speaker 1: and follow the precedure that everybody's saying. Everybody else that
- 23:50Speaker 1: I'm calling they have to come in. How many how
- 23:53Speaker 1: many people work on that floor? There's at least eighty
- 23:56Speaker 1: plus people on that floor. You're talking about trying to
- 23:59Speaker 1: have a plus people come in drive all the way
- 24:03Speaker 1: to work, so some strangers we don't even know can
- 24:06Speaker 1: look at our look at our cheeks, and I'm not
- 24:09Speaker 1: gonna do that. I don't know who did it, but
- 24:11Speaker 1: I know they ain't me. Somebody somebody zeros there but
- 24:16Speaker 1: on the twelfth floor. And we're gonna get to okay,
- 24:20Speaker 1: but we're gonna get to the bottom of who did it.
- 24:22Speaker 1: And what you're what you're not gonna do, Vaughan, is
- 24:24Speaker 1: tell me you're not coming in. What you're not gonna
- 24:27Speaker 1: do do you like your job here with this company? Okay?
- 24:31Speaker 1: What you're not gonna do is act like you're gonna
- 24:33Speaker 1: fire me, because I'm not gonna show y'all my sweet
- 24:36Speaker 1: goodies just because you just because you from HR. You
- 24:39Speaker 1: got me fooled. If you actually expect me to think
- 24:41Speaker 1: that everybody that works from this floor is over here, like,
- 24:45Speaker 1: oh yeah, sure, I'll call us some strangers. Look at mind,
- 24:48Speaker 1: look at my crack. You must be playing, no, sir,
- 24:52Speaker 1: not with me. Okay, let me ask let me, let
- 24:54Speaker 1: me ask you this. Do you have a coworker name
- 24:57Speaker 1: Andre Andrea? Yes? Okay, and Andrew says he knows you. Now,
- 25:03Speaker 1: I'm just gonna put it out here. Andrea is stating
- 25:06Speaker 1: that it could have possibly been you. Really, Andrew got
- 25:11Speaker 1: the nerve to say it could have been mere? Why
- 25:15Speaker 1: are he trying to single me out? Like I even
- 25:17Speaker 1: use that damn copier. I don't playing games. I'm a
- 25:20Speaker 1: grown man. He must be out of his mind thinking
- 25:24Speaker 1: he gonna say I did it. All I know is
- 25:27Speaker 1: he stated that you were a possibility. That's what That's
- 25:29Speaker 1: what he stated. He said I was a possibility. That
- 25:33Speaker 1: that's dumb. He ain't have absolutely the reason to take
- 25:36Speaker 1: I don't even use that copier, man. I use that
- 25:38Speaker 1: thing like once every two three weeks, everybody on that floor. Okay,
- 25:43Speaker 1: So out of once every two three weeks, is there
- 25:45Speaker 1: a possibility. Maybe you propped your butt up there and
- 25:48Speaker 1: copied it. Not at all, y'all, don't He ain't even
- 25:51Speaker 1: told me when this happened. I probably wasn't even working
- 25:53Speaker 1: when the Booty Chicks. You must be out your mind.
- 25:58Speaker 1: You can waste everybody else time trying to bring everyone
- 26:01Speaker 1: in to get a free strip show, but you're not
- 26:04Speaker 1: gonna do that to me. This has to be unethical
- 26:07Speaker 1: and illegal on so many levels. You're trying to come
- 26:10Speaker 1: in and say everybody on the entire four has to
- 26:13Speaker 1: come show that. Man, you want to be kidding me?
- 26:17Speaker 1: What's your name? Whole time you're trying to call me
- 26:20Speaker 1: saying this is HR what's your name? Because we're not.
- 26:23Speaker 1: I'm Darius. I'm Darius out of human Resources. I told
- 26:26Speaker 1: you that when I first called you, and well Darius,
- 26:29Speaker 1: well Darius, when I do come into work, you will
- 26:32Speaker 1: I want to see. Let me ask you this, von.
- 26:35Speaker 1: Do you know Leslie? Leslie? I know that better not
- 26:40Speaker 1: even say my name, but so you do know Leslie? Yes?
- 26:44Speaker 1: I know Leslie. She works there with me. So you're
- 26:47Speaker 1: trying to tell me that Leslie said. Do you want
- 26:50Speaker 1: to know what Leslie said? Yes? I would like you
- 26:53Speaker 1: to know what Leslie says. So when I cussed her out,
- 26:56Speaker 1: I get it right. Okay, Leslie told me to tell
- 26:59Speaker 1: you that this is nephew Tommy from the Steve Harvey
- 27:02Speaker 1: More on the show. And you just got frank by
- 27:04Speaker 1: your co worker Leslie and oh man, Leslie and Andre
- 27:16Speaker 1: got me to prank phone call you. Man, I was man,
- 27:22Speaker 1: I was passed. Yeah, your uncle is right, bro, somebody
- 27:27Speaker 1: is gonna whoop y'all. I bet, I bet it's this year.
- 27:33Speaker 1: All right, tell me this man, what is the baddest
- 27:36Speaker 1: and I mean the baddest radio show in the land,
- 27:38Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Somebody is definitely gonnahoop y'all.
- 27:47Speaker 1: All I'm saying is we got a copy on the
- 27:51Speaker 1: paper and we need to find out who but this is.
- 27:53Speaker 1: That's all I'm saying. We're gonna figure out tood day. Okay,
- 28:00Speaker 1: that brain your butt down here so we can see
- 28:02Speaker 1: if this your butt that's on this paper. That foolishness.
- 28:08Speaker 1: No one's doing that. Who's going to do that much play?
- 28:17Speaker 1: My job is to keep it stupid, Okay, that's my job.
- 28:21Speaker 1: Keep it right, I'm handing him. My job is to
- 28:25Speaker 1: keep everything stupid around here. You know that ain't always
- 28:29Speaker 1: been your job. But he did it though. It just
- 28:33Speaker 1: came so natural. We gave it. Yeah, girl, all right,
- 28:42Speaker 1: coming up, coming up at the top of the hour,
- 28:45Speaker 1: Entertainment in National News. Right after this, you're listening Steve
- 28:50Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Well. Vogue released a statement on the
- 28:55Speaker 1: Vice President elect Kamala Harris's cover model controversy for the
- 28:59Speaker 1: February issue of Vogue. Some people believe that image of
- 29:03Speaker 1: miss Harris in a black blazer in pants with the
- 29:07Speaker 1: white shirt and converse sneakers with a pink and green
- 29:10Speaker 1: sheer curtain backdrop was too casual. They didn't like it.
- 29:13Speaker 1: They wanted her to look more official since she's going
- 29:18Speaker 1: to be our vice president. Others were pleased that the
- 29:20Speaker 1: cover was a tribute to her sorority Alpha Kappa Alpha. Additionally,
- 29:25Speaker 1: there was another picture of the Vice president elect in
- 29:28Speaker 1: a powder blue suit, which was a more serious leader look.
- 29:31Speaker 1: The Vice President Elect's team said that Vogue did not
- 29:34Speaker 1: ask for photo approval to release the more casual digital cover,
- 29:38Speaker 1: and they thought the image of Miss Harriage Harris in
- 29:41Speaker 1: the powder blue suit would be on the cover now.
- 29:44Speaker 1: The magazine has responded the team at Vogue love the images.
- 29:48Speaker 1: Tyler Mitchell shott. He's a black photographer, right, Tyler Mitchell, Yeah,
- 29:53Speaker 1: he did Beyonce exactly. Yeah. Anyway, Yeah, so Vogue said
- 29:58Speaker 1: they loved those images that Tyler Mitchell shot and felt
- 30:01Speaker 1: the more informal image captured Vice President elect Harris's authentic,
- 30:06Speaker 1: approachable nature, which we feel is one of the hallmarks
- 30:10Speaker 1: of the Biden Harris administration. The statement reads also to
- 30:15Speaker 1: respond to the seriousness of this moment in history and
- 30:18Speaker 1: the role she has to play leading our country moving forward.
- 30:22Speaker 1: We're celebrating both images of her as covers digitally, all right,
- 30:27Speaker 1: So that's how they explained both covers. But do they
- 30:32Speaker 1: have a hard copy cover two? I think the powder
- 30:37Speaker 1: blue one is the hard cover because the one in
- 30:41Speaker 1: the blue suit, I think is the one that's on
- 30:44Speaker 1: the actual magazine. I think so, Steve. It's it's so
- 30:48Speaker 1: confusing because they release both digital prints. Well, let's find out.
- 30:52Speaker 1: But either way, I'm gonna make this announcement on behalf
- 30:55Speaker 1: of black people. They didn't ask me too, but I'm
- 30:57Speaker 1: gonna go out on the m and say this here.
- 30:59Speaker 1: We will not be storm in the Capitol because of
- 31:02Speaker 1: this not at all. Yeah, yeah, now we might some
- 31:09Speaker 1: people might be upset, and they got every right to
- 31:11Speaker 1: be upset. We won't be going down there at the
- 31:14Speaker 1: Capitol about it. And I think Kamala Harris, Vice President
- 31:19Speaker 1: ka Madame Madam Vice President Kamala Harris's outstanding. I think
- 31:26Speaker 1: she looks befitting in the part. And however this cover
- 31:30Speaker 1: plays out, it ain't the end off for us. I'm
- 31:33Speaker 1: pretty sure that should be some other covers and maybe
- 31:35Speaker 1: somebody will get it right from the get gold Vogue
- 31:39Speaker 1: is not the end off, say all so right, and
- 31:42Speaker 1: it doesn't. Yeah, she is a leader, she is authentic
- 31:47Speaker 1: and she does she's Vice President United States. Put on
- 31:50Speaker 1: a cracker jack box if you want to. She's the
- 31:53Speaker 1: vice president of the United States. Do we understand making? Yeah,
- 31:57Speaker 1: I don't. I don't know. I don't know if the
- 31:59Speaker 1: AKA we're happy with the pink and green, but I don't.
- 32:02Speaker 1: I don't know what that means. That don't you know whatever?
- 32:07Speaker 1: But yeah, you know, I mean, she's she's on there.
- 32:11Speaker 1: We love her, she's she's got a job to do. Uh,
- 32:15Speaker 1: come the twentieth she will be our vice president, I
- 32:18Speaker 1: mean right, And I think that a lot of want
- 32:21Speaker 1: African Americans like, we're not on Bogue a lot anyway.
- 32:24Speaker 1: They don't represent us all the way right anyway, so
- 32:27Speaker 1: when it's they see a problem, they want to bring
- 32:30Speaker 1: it up. Yeah, Trump was mad that Melania didn't get
- 32:33Speaker 1: any covers. Well who is she? Though? Time for today's headline,
- 32:45Speaker 1: Steve miss Ann trip. Yeah, I'm going okay anyway, this
- 32:53Speaker 1: is a trip with the news. Everybody in good morning,
- 32:55Speaker 1: let's go. Well, the President has now had his say
- 32:58Speaker 1: about last Wednesday's pro Trump siege of the US capital,
- 33:01Speaker 1: and he says, wasn't his fault? Have you read my speech?
- 33:04Speaker 1: And many people have done it, and I've seen it
- 33:06Speaker 1: both in the papers and in the media on television.
- 33:11Speaker 1: It's been analyzed, and people thought that what I said
- 33:15Speaker 1: was totally appropriate. And if you look at what other
- 33:18Speaker 1: people have said, politicians at a high level about the
- 33:22Speaker 1: riots during the summer, the horrible riots in Portland and
- 33:25Speaker 1: Seattle at various other places, that was a real problem
- 33:30Speaker 1: what they said. But they've analyzed my speech and my
- 33:34Speaker 1: words and my final paragraph, my final sentence, and everybody
- 33:38Speaker 1: to the teeth thought it was totally appropriate. Yeah. According
- 33:42Speaker 1: to the latest polls, that's not what the majority of
- 33:44Speaker 1: Americans think, and that not only includes Democratic lawmakers, but
- 33:47Speaker 1: some GOP legislators as well. Now, with only seven days
- 33:50Speaker 1: left of his only one term in office, House Democrats
- 33:53Speaker 1: have introduced a single article of impeachment accusing Trump of
- 33:57Speaker 1: incitement of insurrection. In the Houses. Expect to vote on
- 34:00Speaker 1: that measure before the end of this week, maybe today.
- 34:03Speaker 1: President Trump's claiming that the impeachment process, by the way,
- 34:06Speaker 1: is quote dangerous for the country. Impeachment aside Capital building
- 34:10Speaker 1: and its surrounding grounds is still essentially a crime scene.
- 34:13Speaker 1: And that's where Michael Sherwin, acting US Attorney for the
- 34:15Speaker 1: District of Columbia, comes in. We have already opened one
- 34:18Speaker 1: hundred and seventy more than one hundred and seventy subject files,
- 34:21Speaker 1: meaning these individuals have been identified as potential persons that
- 34:26Speaker 1: committed crimes on the Capitol grounds inside and outside. So
- 34:30Speaker 1: up those hundred and seventy cases that have already been open,
- 34:32Speaker 1: and I anticipate that's going to grow to the hundreds
- 34:34Speaker 1: and the next coming weeks. We've already charged over seventy cases.
- 34:38Speaker 1: And now the incoming sent A majority leader Jos Schumer
- 34:41Speaker 1: is calling on the Department of Homeland Security to put
- 34:43Speaker 1: all known rioters on a no fly list, a process,
- 34:46Speaker 1: by the way, that's already begun in a few cases.
- 34:48Speaker 1: Schumer says that the law calls for anyone deemed a
- 34:51Speaker 1: threat to the security of this country to be banned
- 34:53Speaker 1: from boarding any commercial flight. Oh. By the way, the
- 34:56Speaker 1: FBI charged a white Trump supporter over for traveling to
- 34:59Speaker 1: Washington and DC with an assault rifle and saying that
- 35:02Speaker 1: he planned to kill Nancy Pelosi on live TV. That
- 35:05Speaker 1: guy is named Cleveland Meredith. According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution,
- 35:10Speaker 1: he's known in the Atlanta area for erecting a billboard
- 35:13Speaker 1: that said QAnon along with the name of his company.
- 35:15Speaker 1: His company is called car Nuts car Wash in Minneapolis
- 35:19Speaker 1: and Judge that we're seeing the trial the now four
- 35:21Speaker 1: X police officers accused in the brutal murder of mister
- 35:24Speaker 1: George Floyd has pushed the trial of three the four
- 35:26Speaker 1: further into the year or four X cops charge in
- 35:29Speaker 1: Floyd's death were scheduled to go to trial in March,
- 35:32Speaker 1: but Derek Chauvin the cops scene grinding his knee into
- 35:35Speaker 1: mister Floyd's neck. He's charged with murder, and he goes first.
- 35:38Speaker 1: He's tried in March. The other three have tried in August.
- 35:41Speaker 1: Now back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening
- 35:44Speaker 1: to the String Show and trending political news. According to
- 35:49Speaker 1: The New York Times, Senate Majority leader Mitch McConnell has
- 35:54Speaker 1: told his associates that quote, he is happy Democrats have
- 35:58Speaker 1: moved to impeach mister Trump as it will make it
- 36:00Speaker 1: easier for me to rebuild the Republican Party. Whoa oh.
- 36:09Speaker 1: Mitch McConnell also blames President Trump for the Republicans losing
- 36:13Speaker 1: the two Senate seats in the runoff election in Georgia.
- 36:18Speaker 1: How's the Democrats plan to vote today to impeach President
- 36:21Speaker 1: Trump for a second time? Remember one week ago today,
- 36:24Speaker 1: the domestic terrorists attacked the Capitol Building, where five people died,
- 36:28Speaker 1: including a US Capitol Police officer. So Mitch McConnell has
- 36:32Speaker 1: changed his tune. Huh, you know what I mean? Look,
- 36:38Speaker 1: you know, we all keep hanging out hope that you know,
- 36:42Speaker 1: something will develop where it is not such such a
- 36:47Speaker 1: split with the Democrats and Republicans. Because as we sit
- 36:51Speaker 1: here and we look at that, we don't understand why
- 36:53Speaker 1: they don't see what we see. But it's clear, like
- 36:56Speaker 1: I've always known, they don't see what they don't want
- 36:59Speaker 1: to see it because it's their power, position and their money.
- 37:02Speaker 1: But now they have a chance to really rid themself
- 37:04Speaker 1: up this guy and get back to some type of
- 37:08Speaker 1: normalcy in the look, it's gonna always be difference between
- 37:12Speaker 1: Democrats and Republicans, that's the way it is. And you're
- 37:14Speaker 1: gonna have fights and and and and people side and
- 37:18Speaker 1: just causes the party or what they sighed for with
- 37:21Speaker 1: this dude. Man is pure ignorance and lies. And if
- 37:28Speaker 1: you don't sign with him on a lie, man, he'd
- 37:30Speaker 1: do your ass on Twitter. Well, they took his Twitter account.
- 37:35Speaker 1: What y'all scared of? He can't come back. He can't
- 37:40Speaker 1: even talk to him about y'all no more. They're really yeah,
- 37:43Speaker 1: and fear is it. It's fear driven what they're doing.
- 37:46Speaker 1: And man, let me tell you something. If they impeach him,
- 37:48Speaker 1: they would get rid of his ability to have secret
- 37:51Speaker 1: service for the rest of his life. That's and he
- 37:55Speaker 1: would lose the pension. The bigger part is he would
- 37:58Speaker 1: lose the secret service. That would then prevent him from
- 38:02Speaker 1: going to these rallies and and and and drumming up
- 38:05Speaker 1: more supporting these ignorantives. Yeah, you actually have a chance
- 38:09Speaker 1: to rid yourself for this guy. And he wouldn't be
- 38:12Speaker 1: able to run for office again either, that's right, and
- 38:15Speaker 1: you wouldn't have to deal with this. Trump isn't foolishes,
- 38:18Speaker 1: right and now virtually go ahead. Oh, I was on side,
- 38:21Speaker 1: like with Bernie Sanders. He tweeted out, if he's too dangerous.
- 38:24Speaker 1: If Trump is too dangerous to send out a tweet
- 38:27Speaker 1: or a Facebook post, then he's too dangerous to be
- 38:30Speaker 1: the commander in cheat right. I said, oh, absolutely, absolutely,
- 38:35Speaker 1: he needs to be removed from office. Yep. He wants
- 38:38Speaker 1: to be a dictator, that's it. He thinks he's a
- 38:41Speaker 1: king or something. Yeah, he does. He does. Send him
- 38:44Speaker 1: to Russia, let them deal with let's do that. He's
- 38:47Speaker 1: got plenty of friends over there, doesn't he All? Right?
- 38:50Speaker 1: Time to switch gears, guys, Um, we're gonna talk about
- 38:54Speaker 1: being healthy. Coming up at thirty four minutes after the hour,
- 38:57Speaker 1: it's our Wellness Wednesday segment. It's answered by d Herbs.

- 39:56Speaker 1: we'll jump right into it as we always do with
- 39:59Speaker 1: COVID ninth team numbers. Surging A D Being healthy is
- 40:03Speaker 1: extremely important these days. So how is it the DERBS program?
- 40:08Speaker 1: How is that helping people get healthy and keeping them
- 40:11Speaker 1: on track. Absolutely, Look, we're doing all the things. We're
- 40:15Speaker 1: wearing masks or social distancing, we're washing our hands thirty
- 40:19Speaker 1: times a day. But to be honest, your last line
- 40:21Speaker 1: of defense is your immune system. And by doing the
- 40:24Speaker 1: Deers full body cleans, what you're gonna do is fortify
- 40:27Speaker 1: that system and give you the extra protection that you
- 40:30Speaker 1: need during this crazy time period. I love it. I
- 40:33Speaker 1: love it now. It's important also a D that we
- 40:36Speaker 1: educate our listeners on how different the Deerbs full body cleanses.
- 40:41Speaker 1: It's different than any other cleans out there, so let's
- 40:44Speaker 1: talk about that. Well, when you think of cleansing, you're
- 40:47Speaker 1: gonna have to starve yourself or drink some were concoction.
- 40:49Speaker 1: The Deers full body cleanses nothing like that. You can
- 40:53Speaker 1: eat as many fresh fruits, vegetables, row nuts, and raw
- 40:55Speaker 1: seeds during this time period as your hard desire. Also,
- 40:59Speaker 1: our cleans doesn't your focus on your colon. It actually
- 41:01Speaker 1: focused on your entire body. And also I would add
- 41:06Speaker 1: as our formulas which are one percent natural down to
- 41:09Speaker 1: the capsule themselves which are vegetarian capsules. And lastly, the
- 41:13Speaker 1: results you're talking about weight loss between ten to thirty pounds,
- 41:16Speaker 1: a huge boots and energy, stronger immune system, clearer skin.
- 41:20Speaker 1: To be honest, the Deer toubody cleanses a life changer.
- 41:23Speaker 1: It is. We were all looking good and we still
- 41:27Speaker 1: are thanks to I don't want to start a rum
- 41:31Speaker 1: or nothing what you know, because this hasn't been scientifically proven,
- 41:36Speaker 1: but Junior did the cleans last year, the Deer's Full
- 41:40Speaker 1: Body cleans, Right, Junior said that it cleans his body
- 41:45Speaker 1: out from any COVID effects and he doesn't get COVID
- 41:49Speaker 1: because he took a cleans. Oh. I love that. I
- 41:52Speaker 1: love that scientific and we can't we can't verify that,
- 41:55Speaker 1: but that's what we're gonna go with. Go ahead, Shirley,
- 41:58Speaker 1: all right. The thing we love about it is that
- 42:00Speaker 1: we can eat food on this cleanse. And now for
- 42:03Speaker 1: our listeners that are struggling with diabetes and high blood pressure,
- 42:07Speaker 1: a lot of those they really should try the Deerbs
- 42:10Speaker 1: Full of Body cleanse. But you need to tell us
- 42:12Speaker 1: why because that's important. Well, if you think about it,
- 42:15Speaker 1: a lot of people don't know that ninety percent of
- 42:17Speaker 1: all diseases today are diet related. Always tell people that.
- 42:21Speaker 1: So we're literally eating our way into sickness. But the
- 42:23Speaker 1: same way you got there is also going to be
- 42:25Speaker 1: the same way you get out. And by cleansing, what
- 42:28Speaker 1: it can do is give you a healthier diet, put
- 42:30Speaker 1: you on a healthier path, so you can eat your
- 42:32Speaker 1: way out of thickness. Eat your way out of sickness.
- 42:36Speaker 1: Absolutely sickness. We eat our way into sickness, So yeah,
- 42:41Speaker 1: why not eat your way out. But I'm gonna tell
- 42:43Speaker 1: you something that's really a true fact. It really is
- 42:45Speaker 1: man A one C number, AC one number whatever the
- 42:50Speaker 1: number is, uh, the diabetic number they'd gotten kind of
- 42:54Speaker 1: hide I was. My blood work told me I was
- 42:56Speaker 1: pre diabetic. I went to vegetables, right. I went to
- 43:01Speaker 1: vegan for three weeks and my number dropped down a
- 43:05Speaker 1: whole point. Not absolutely, So that is a true statement
- 43:10Speaker 1: about people don't understand what you put in your body
- 43:12Speaker 1: is so important, and that's why cleansing is so important,
- 43:16Speaker 1: because you get rid of all that waste, all that toxicity,
- 43:19Speaker 1: so your body can be on a healthier path and
- 43:22Speaker 1: it's life changing. That's absolutely true a D. And we're
- 43:27Speaker 1: all living proof of that. So if you want to
- 43:30Speaker 1: get healthy, if you want to get started, go to

- 53:57Speaker 1: all right, thank you? Subject? Is he a loser or
- 54:00Speaker 1: a work in progress? Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm a thirty
- 54:04Speaker 1: two year old woman and I'm falling for a forty
- 54:06Speaker 1: three year old man. We met online and bonded because
- 54:09Speaker 1: we were both very lonely for the last ten months
- 54:12Speaker 1: in quarantine. I work full time at a school, and
- 54:15Speaker 1: he is a screenwriter waiting for one of his movies
- 54:19Speaker 1: to get greenlit by a big producer. He said, if
- 54:22Speaker 1: that happens, he will be set for life. We decided
- 54:26Speaker 1: to meet up and I asked him to meet me
- 54:28Speaker 1: halfway since he lives an hour from me. He told
- 54:31Speaker 1: me he doesn't have a car, so I drove three
- 54:35Speaker 1: hours to see him. When I got to his apartment,
- 54:38Speaker 1: he said I couldn't come in because the couple he
- 54:41Speaker 1: lives with doesn't want strangers inside because of COVID nineteen.
- 54:46Speaker 1: He explained that he's staying on their couch in exchange
- 54:49Speaker 1: for some cleaning and other housework. He said he didn't
- 54:53Speaker 1: tell me because he didn't want to scare me away.
- 54:56Speaker 1: I was very put off by this, but he offered
- 54:59Speaker 1: to take me to punch, so that made it better.
- 55:02Speaker 1: We had a nice meal and things were going great
- 55:05Speaker 1: until his card was declined at the restaurant. He stepped
- 55:09Speaker 1: away to call his bank and then asked me to
- 55:12Speaker 1: cover the bill. He was embarrassed, but I assured him
- 55:16Speaker 1: that it was okay. We decided to get a hotel
- 55:20Speaker 1: room so we could spend the day together, but his
- 55:22Speaker 1: card was declined again, so I put the room on
- 55:27Speaker 1: my credit card. He called a bank again and said
- 55:30Speaker 1: his account had a glitch, but he could pay me
- 55:33Speaker 1: back within twenty four hours. That night, we had the
- 55:37Speaker 1: most intense sex and amazing conversation. I haven't been back
- 55:43Speaker 1: to see him because he can't afford a hotel room.
- 55:46Speaker 1: I still haven't gotten my money back either. He said,
- 55:50Speaker 1: he's falling in love with me, So I don't want
- 55:52Speaker 1: to mess this up. I'm trying to believe in its dreams.
- 55:56Speaker 1: Is he a work in progress or is he a loser?
- 56:00Speaker 1: Please advise? Well, I'm gonna say a loser. Okay, that's
- 56:05Speaker 1: what I'm gonna say. He is a loser, and I'm
- 56:09Speaker 1: gonna say it to you too, loser. I think you're
- 56:13Speaker 1: a loser too, because what are you doing having sex
- 56:16Speaker 1: with a man you met online? And you did all
- 56:19Speaker 1: the work, you know, to make this stuff happen. You
- 56:22Speaker 1: drove three hours to see him. You paid for the
- 56:24Speaker 1: food because his credit card was declined. You paid for
- 56:27Speaker 1: the hotel room because his credit card was declined. It
- 56:30Speaker 1: was a glitch in it. He said, you gave it
- 56:33Speaker 1: up the first night. You made it way way easy
- 56:37Speaker 1: for this man. And you said, being lonely for ten
- 56:40Speaker 1: months because of COVID, that's what this will do to you.
- 56:44Speaker 1: I don't think that's a reason just to give yourself
- 56:46Speaker 1: away to some man you didn't even know. This man
- 56:49Speaker 1: is forty three years old. Where is he working right now?
- 56:53Speaker 1: Until he gets his big break? Usually that's what writers
- 56:56Speaker 1: and screenwriters do. They have another job, and they work
- 56:58Speaker 1: on their their stuff, you know, in their off time.
- 57:01Speaker 1: If he's a writer, I mean, surely you would have
- 57:03Speaker 1: seen some of his work, maybe publishing a magazine or online,
- 57:08Speaker 1: a local newspaper. Maybe you know, he would have written
- 57:10Speaker 1: you a poem or something. Did you even read or
- 57:15Speaker 1: see the script that he was waiting to get produced
- 57:18Speaker 1: by some big Hollywood producer? And is that really where
- 57:23Speaker 1: he lives? Where he took you and said he couldn't
- 57:25Speaker 1: take you in because of COVID nineteen? All the stuff
- 57:29Speaker 1: just sounds suspect to me. I mean, you didn't really
- 57:32Speaker 1: think he was going to pay you back? Did you?
- 57:34Speaker 1: You said he didn't pay you back? Did you really
- 57:36Speaker 1: think he was going to This guy is not just
- 57:39Speaker 1: a loser, he's a user. And I just say stay
- 57:44Speaker 1: away from him. Okay, don't worry about seeing him again.
- 57:47Speaker 1: He's not for you, Steve. What is my CADI letter
- 57:50Speaker 1: right here? Thank you? This is my kind of letter
- 57:53Speaker 1: right here? Thank you. First of all, I won't thank you, know,
- 57:56Speaker 1: I just want everybody to listen to this letter right no,
- 57:58Speaker 1: right now. I just want you to know that the
- 58:00Speaker 1: talent that God gave me, it's about to shine through brightly.
- 58:04Speaker 1: You're about to see my ability to take foolishness pointed
- 58:10Speaker 1: out at levels where a lot of people don't see. See.
- 58:13Speaker 1: Schell is a nice Christian girl. You know she ain't
- 58:16Speaker 1: had the life out of head. You know she ain't
- 58:19Speaker 1: told as many lies as me. She been in as
- 58:22Speaker 1: much situations as me, so she ain't gonna see the
- 58:24Speaker 1: stuff like here gonna listening thirty to your old woman
- 58:27Speaker 1: falling for the forty three year old man. They met
- 58:30Speaker 1: online and bond it because we both were lonely the
- 58:33Speaker 1: last ten months in quarantine. Help for everybody been in quarantine.
- 58:38Speaker 1: I work full time out of school. And he's a screenwriter.
- 58:42Speaker 1: He or what? He a screenwriter? Girl? That ain't even
- 58:47Speaker 1: the real title for it. He a screenwriter waiting on
- 58:52Speaker 1: here now this way. Let me let me show you
- 58:54Speaker 1: how you little waiting on one of his movies to
- 58:59Speaker 1: get green lit by a big producer? What? Who? What
- 59:06Speaker 1: big producer? Who gonna green like this movie? Why would
- 59:10Speaker 1: a big producer go through everybody they know to get
- 59:13Speaker 1: to hell? He said that if that happens, he'll be
- 59:18Speaker 1: set for life. One movie. Dog. You think, hold a party?
- 59:25Speaker 1: You think if Spielberg had it just made one movie,
- 59:29Speaker 1: he'd have been said. You think if Will Smill had
- 59:32Speaker 1: just done one movie, he'd have been said. They think
- 59:35Speaker 1: if DNZL had it just stopped at Mobile Blues, you
- 59:39Speaker 1: think he'd have been sank for life? Partner? Is you
- 59:42Speaker 1: out in your rabbit ass mind? You know how much
- 59:45Speaker 1: stuff you got to put together? You're talking, he'll be
- 59:48Speaker 1: said for life. We decided to meet up, and I
- 59:50Speaker 1: asked him to meet me halfway since he lived hour
- 59:53Speaker 1: for me, she told me, car, So I drove an
- 59:56Speaker 1: hour to see him. Okay, that's another thing. He'll screenwriter
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: three hours to see him. Hold it right there, Steve,
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: we'll have part two of your response coming up at
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: twenty three minutes after the Our subject is he a
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: loser or a work in progress? We'll get back into
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: it right after this. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: All right, come on, Steve, let's recap to today's Strawberry letters.
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: Subject is he a loser or work in progress? Okay? Now,
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: in order for me to recap this letter, I'd had
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: to go too far. So let me just take you
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: through it. Because the subject is is he a loser? All?
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: Work in progress? Shelly called him a loser. I got
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: to agree with her one hundred percent. This man as
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: a complete loser. I pointed out to you as we
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: go through the letter, thirty two year old woman falling
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: four forty three year old man, man online, bind it
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: because we will lonely do in the last ten months
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: in quarantine, I work full time out of school. And
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: he is a screenwriter. Right there, a screenwriter in quarantine.
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: Could Lord almighty him and show nobody or screened that
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: he hadn't written since the quarantine started. Anybody's taking movies
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: out in Hollywood right now? Okay, so let's go with
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: that right there, waiting on one of his movies to
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: get green lit by a big producer. Boy, do you
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: have any idea the process it is to get to
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: a big producer in Hollywood with your new ass with
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: this script. Ain't saying it can't be done, ain't saying
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: you can't have dreams. But oh Lord, this one tough,
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: he said. If that happens, he'll be set for life. Boy,
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: one movie is not gonna set your ass for life.
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: I can tell you it won't. If that's not how
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: this works. You gotta put these things together, man, you
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: gotta start stacking paper. You know, you think Brad Pitt
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: would have been all right with one movie, Tom Hanks
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: with one movie, Now man Eddie with one movie. Note,
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: you gotta put him together. We decided to meet up,
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: and I asked him to meet me halfway since he
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: lives an hour from me. He he told me he
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: don't have a car. Or all right, come on, farty
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: three year old man. He told you he didn't have
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: a car. You let that go. So I drove an
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: hour to see him. When I got to his apartment,
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: he said I couldn't come in because the couple he
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: lived with don't want strangers inside the house because of
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: COVID nineteen. You didn't drove an hour to his apartment
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: to find out he don't have an apartment, that he's
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: staying with a couple that's been told him, your ass
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: can't come in here because of COVID nineteen. He explained
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: that he's staying on that couch. What standing. This is
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: a forty three year old man staying on his couch.
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: See listening. I'm the last person could talk because I've
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: been homeless and I lived in a car for three years.
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: I met women while I lived in a car. I
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: can tell you didn't go good. I can just tell
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: you didn't go good because when I say said, can
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: I come over your place, we in it. I met
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: a girl at a one night show one time we
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: were driving around the car. Was gonna try to go
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: to waffle house or something. She said, uh, uh, you
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: staying around here somewhere? I said, yeah, She said, well
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: right here. Yeah, so I understand now you staying on
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: that couch not and you staying on the couch in
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: exchange from some cleaning and other housework. So now he'll
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: made so here that cleaning targets and doing dishes and
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: canning out garbage and stuff and mopping flows. Okay, but
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: he'll screen right now. He said he didn't tell me
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: because he didn't want to scare me away. You're asking
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: to got in your car right then and turned your
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: ass around. But oh no, you ain't that smart. I
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: was very put off by the You wouldn't put off
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: that much because guess what they did. He offered to
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: take me to lunch, So that made it better. Well,
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: oh play the food all right, here we go. So
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: now since that made the baby, we had a nice
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: meal and things was going great until his card was
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: declined at the restaurant. So now it was going great
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: because he took bought you some lunch. Didn't find out
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: he couldn't pay for the damn lunch. He stepped away
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: to call his bank and asked me to cover the bill.
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: He didn't talk nobody at that bank. Whatever. He called
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: the bank and say, you know, getting here, Well, it
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: ain't no money in there. He stepped around the corner
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: and told you he called the bank. He talked nobody
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: at that bank. Matter of fact, they'd ask him and
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: bring his ass down there so they could leave him overdraft.
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: He was embarrassed, so I assured him that it was okay.
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: You're such a nice person. We decided to get a
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: hotel room so we could spend the day together. What
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: wait a minute, what wait a minute? After all that
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: didn't happen, y'all, desperate ass, After you found out he's
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: stay on the couch with the other couple that he
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: a housekeeper and he'll screen right away on the big producer.
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: He ain't got no money, and people wouldn't let you
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: in the house because they think your ass got COVID
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: and you took you the restaurant and you ain't got
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: the money. He called a bank and then would told you,
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: y'all gonna get a hotel room. So he spend the
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: day together, but his card was declined again. If you
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: can't pay for the food, how the hell are you
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: gonna get a hotel room? So I put the room
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: on my credit card. He called a bank again and
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: said his accounts had a glitch in it. Yeah, the
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: glitch is called ain't no money. That's a big glitch.
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: I've had three years in the glitches. But he could
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: pay me back in twenty four hours. That night, we
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: had the most intense sex and amazing conversation. Hey, can
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: I come back on this next break? Yeah, because this
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: is very important right here, because I want to share
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: with you why you had the most intense six an
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: amazing conversation. I'm gonna share with you why that happens.
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: And I don't have the time in a little bit
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: of time we got left, But y'all need to focus
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: on it when we come back. You need to find
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: out how you can have the most intense sex with
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: a person that ain't got no damn money. Okay, all right, Well,
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: in the meantime, post your comments on Today's Strawberry Letter
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: at Steve Harvey FM and Instagram on Instagram and Facebook.
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: Check out the Strawberry Letter podcast on demand. Coming up,
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: Part three of Today's Strawberry Letter, Is he a loser
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: or work in progress? Right after this, you're listening to
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve, we're back
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: with part three. Here's the Strawberry Letter with part three
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: two at the subject is is he a loser or
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: work in progress? So you left with telling us you
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: were going to connection. So just brief amazing, let me
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: explain something to you. This woman to met his forty
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: three year old man who's a screenwriter. They been online
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: and they met, and you're trying to figure out if
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: he a loser or if he's a working progress. Me
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: and Sherlean I already said the loser. Just a couple
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: of bullet points to remind you why we think he's
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: a loser. He's waiting on the screen play to get
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: big green lit by big producer. That's one he said.
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: If it happens, it's gonna be set for life. He
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: fought at three. Then you drive to meet him and
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: you told him meet you halfway he told you he
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: can't meet you halfway because he ain't got no car.
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: You drove all the way to see him to got
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: to his apartment, and then you found out that you
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: couldn't come in because the couple he lived with don't
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: want those strangers inside day house because it might have
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: COVID nineteen. Then he told you that he was staying
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: on their couch in exchange for doing housework and other chores.
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: Then he told you he won't to tell you that
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: because he didn't want to scare your way, and instead
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: of getting scared your ass stayed. But then he offered
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: to take you to lunch, so that made it better.
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: Then he took you to lunch, and when it bill came,
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: he couldn't pay for the damn lunch, so you put
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: it on yo it card. I don't know how good
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: to how good that damn meal was. But then right
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: out there that y'all decided to get a hotel room
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: so y'all could spend the day together. But his card
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: got declined again if he couldn't take for the damn meal,
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: So how he gonna get a room? What the hotel was?
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: Y'all at Glenn's Motor in. Listen to me. The hotel
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: room normally costs more than food, you know, four hours
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: for twenty dollars, you know. And he said his account
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: had a glitch in it. Glitch. No, his encounter had
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: no money in it. That's the biggest glitch of them all,
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: he said. He bade back in twenty four hours. Now,
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: this is where we left off that night. We had
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: the most intense sex and amazing conversation. Well, first, let
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: me deal with the amazing conversation. First of all, he
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: is screenwriter. He know how to tell a story, and
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: you like listening to him. So that's a good ass conversation. Now,
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: let me tell you why you had the intent six.
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: Because he was screwing for opportunity. He was screwing for
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: a chance. He was screwing for hope. He was screwing
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: for someway to live. He was screwing for another payment.
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: He was screwing for somebody to clean up this bank
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: account of here. He was screwing for somebody with a
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: credit report. He was scoring for somebody that's working down
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: at the school center. He was screwing for anybody that
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: could get his ass off that couch. Because he tied
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: and doing housework for these white people he living there with.
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: That's why the six was so intent to got screwing
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: with purpose. Coming up. More of the Steve Harvey Morning
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: Show right after the You're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: Morning Show. Since Steve we talked about this Yesterday's it's
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: kind of all over social media since they made the
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: big announcement. Your daughter Laurie is dating People magazine Sexiest
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: Man Alive actor Michael B. Jordan. You couple, they make yeah,
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: and you approved, correct, You talked about that. You're cool
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: with it. Excuse me, excuse me? I mean I like him,
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: you know, but you know, like I say to all
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: of them, I might like you, I might approve of you,
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: but I gotta a thumb sized section of my heart
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: feel with nothing but pure hatred for your ass can
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: come from you know. That's just in case I need it, Okay,
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: like right now, you know, nice, but I got this
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: little section, proud in it with I gotta do a
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: click switch, and I hate your ass. You sexiest man
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: in the world to me, you don't get too close.
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: Then you don't get too close. No, no, always stay back,
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: always stay back. You know, are you like the bad
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: boys father and the father and the man will Smith No, no,
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: and I'm both of them. Hey man, how you doing?
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: I can't stand in your head, I'm not doing. But
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: go ahead. What's your questions? But here's the question. Let's
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: talk about the opposite because a lot of parents out
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: there are going through this. And what advice can you
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: give parents and kids when the parents don't approve of
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: the relationship because so far you're cool with them, you
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: know so well. I mean, you know you could see
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: a lot of times. Listen to me. Let me say
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: this about parenting, man, it does not come with the manual.
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: And to all the parents out there who children have
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: done something totally against everything you've ever tried to teach them,
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: share with them, or get them to understand they once
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: they become adults, they can go and do whatever it
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: is they want to and ain't got nothing to do
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: with your well wishes, your thoughts, your hopes for them,
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: or nothing else. Do not beat yourself up as a
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: parent when your child does something counter to what you
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: believe is right for them, because they have to live
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: their life and learn and they will learn. They will
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: literally learn. Yeah, man, when it take a while not
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: tell me that ain't no, they ain't no age. You
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: know something, some some of them tripped for a wild man.
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: You just got to let it go. You know, you
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: got to love them. Keep talking to them. You know,
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: I stop doing I don't do that praying phone not
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: if you piss me off, I don't. Okay, all right, Nah,
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: don't approve of their relationships. It's nothing you can do
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: about it. If they're an adult, it's nothing you can
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: do about it. And other people who pass judgment on you.
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: People who pass judgment on you, either they kids ain't
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: old enough yet or they ain't got no damn kids.
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: They're the two right there. But if you have been
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: in this long enough and you have kids of this age,
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: all you could do is say, wow, I understand. But
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: people who criticize you as a parent in your parenting skills,
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: two things happen. They kids ain't old enough or they
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: ain't got no damn kids, one or the two. And
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: if they are critical because their kids is old enough,
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: hold on, they fend to do something too. Just hold tight.
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: Huh wow, Okay, good discussion, all right, don't get me start.
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: You are right, tommy, mmmmmm, don't even look over here, Tommy,
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: it is good. Okay, you just trouble out of one,
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: I got seven three. I love them all, though, let
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: me say that I love them all? Yeah? Nothing love?
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: Do you like them? Not all the time? You have
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: all the time. It's not all the time. All right.
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: We'll have more of today's trending stories on the Steve
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show coming up at twenty minutes after the hour.
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: What we gotta say, Happy Founders Day to the ladies
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated to found this day, DST.
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: These my sisters over Hill's up with y'all. Y'all fine
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: selves up in there, throw them up. Yeah, all my daughters,
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: that's Delta's all the fine women DST. That that cake
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: lady to make all our cakes as a Delta. Her
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: husband is a cute, all them sisters out there. Yeah. So,
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: what's name is a Delta? The girl that I escorted
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: at the Black home coming at Kent State, Crystal What
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: was Crystal's name? Crystal more Christ nineteen seventy five, Crystal
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: Crystal Chocolate. Fine Lord him, Miss Crystal was fine god
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: dog my freshman as walking down that album, everybody wanted
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: to be me? Why have a little front picked out?
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: Had them platforms on? Had that sponge jacket with the
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: elastic in the back plaid, You know they made out
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: of that little material. It's kind of sponging with the
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: big big as le peons on. It had butterfly bolter girl.
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: You're mad ateno. We an't understand. Oh oh, miss miss
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: Keisha Land's bottom. I think she's a Delta too. Hey,
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: we'll be right back with more to Steve Harvey Show
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: and trending political news. According to The New York Times,
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell has told his associates that quote,
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: he is happy Democrats have moved to impeach mister Trump,
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: as it will make it easier for me to rebuild
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: the Republican Party. Whoa oh. Mitch McConnell also blames President
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: Trump for the Republicans losing the two Senate seats in
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: the runoff election in Georgia. Houses. Democrats planned to vote
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: today to impeach President Trump for a second time. Remember
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: one week ago today the domestic terrorists attacked the Capitol Building,
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: where five people died, including a US Capitol Police officer.
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: So Mitch McConnell has changed his tune. Huh, you know
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: what I mean? Look, you know, we all keep hanging
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: out hope that you know, something will develop where it's
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: not such such a split with the Democrats and Republicans.
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: Because as we sit here and we look at that,
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: we don't understand why they don't see what we see.
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: But it's clear, like I've always known, they don't see
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: what they don't want to see it because it's their
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: power position and their money. But now they have a
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: chance to really rid theirself of this guy and get
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: back to some type of normalcy in the look, it's
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: gonna always be difference between Democrats and Republicans, that's the
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: way it is. And you're gonna have fights and and
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: and and people side and just cause it to party.
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: But what they signed for with this dude man is
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: pure ignorance and lies. And if you don't sign with
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: him on the line, man, he do your ass on Twitter.
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: Well they don't took his Twitter account. What y'all scared of?
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: He can't come back, He can't even talk to you
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: about y'all no more, they're really yeah, and fear is
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: that it's fear driven what they're doing. And man, let
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: me tell you something. If they impeach him, they would
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: get rid of his ability to have secret service for
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: the rest of his life. That's a fair and he
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: would lose the pension. The bigger part is he would
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: lose the secret service. That would then prevent him from
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: going to these rallies and and and drumming up more
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: supporting these ignorant lize you actually have a chance to
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: rid yourself for this guy, and he wouldn't be able
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: to run for office again either, that's right, and you
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: wouldn't have to deal with this Trump isn't foolish him
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: and then eventually go ahead. Oh, I was onside, Like
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: with Bernie Sanders. He tweeted out, if he's too dangerous.
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: If Trump is too dangerous to send out a tweet
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: or a Facebook post, then he's too dangerous to be
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: the commander in chief, right, I said, oh, absolutely, absolutely,
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: he needs to be removed from office. Yep. He wants
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: to be a dictator, that's it. He thinks he's a
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: king or something. Yeah, he does. He does send him
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: to Russia. Let don't deal with it. Let's do that.
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: He's got plenty of friends over there, doesn't he. All right,
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: time to switch gears. Guys, coming up, it's our last
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: break of the day, and Steve Harvey will give us
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: some closing remarks at forty nine minutes after the hour
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: right after this you're listening to show. All right, guys,
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: here we are last break of the day on this
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: very important Wednesday in Washington, in the country, in Donald
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: Trump's presidency. We'll see what the vote will be an
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: impeachment today. Steve, Yeah, I mean, you know, it doesn't
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: really you know, here's a deal. This is my closing remarks.
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: This impeachment process that's going down, It can happen or
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: not can happen. They have a deeper problem than whether
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: they impeach him or not. Of course, there has some
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: benefits to impeaching him. He loses his pension, he doesn't
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: get the benefit of having secret Service with him the
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: rest of his life, and he can never run for
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: an office again. So there are some benefits. But there's
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: a deeper problem here. How did they even get to
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: this point? And I say they because it was not
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: us no, this is a Republican party problem that has
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: flooded over and become a national problem. But I'm gonna
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: tell you something. I refuse to let it be a
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: problem of mine. No, no, no, no, no, you're trying
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: to talk about the shame you brought on American I said,
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: it's a shame you brought on yourself. Steve Harvard, I'm
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: not wearing this one. I'm not wearing this one. This
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: is on you. You who voted for him, you who
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: enabled him, you who cowered down to him. This is
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: your doing. This is yours and yours alone. You and
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: you alone should wear this crown of glory and crown
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: of shame. However you want to look at it. But
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: we and me and my listeners, we ain't got nothing
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: to do with this right here. See your fear of
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: one man named Donald Trump, your fear of him, your cowardice,
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: your fear and cowardless of his ways, his tones, of
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: a man who acted like he was a keen You
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: know something, man, these Republicans, y'all got to rethink this
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: man because y'all got behind and the immoral person when
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: y'all solely claimed to be the moral party of the USA,
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: the GOP, the Grand Old Party, and you led a
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: man in the front that y'all knew from the get
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: goal was not fit to lead. He's never led, he's
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: never been about people. He's never cared about a common
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: man a day in his life. He's never serviced anyone.
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: He's done nothing but cheat, connives, still lie. Borrow filed
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: bankruptcy whole life. Got y'all trick because he had a
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: TV show called The Apprentice, got you thinking he's a
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: great businessman. He's slicked now, Oh he's slicked, and he
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: find ways to get it done. And he's resilient. Oh
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: he's all that, but he ain't good though. Ain't no
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: stories of Mike Bloomberg filing bankruptcy eleven times. Ain't no
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: stories of Robert Smith filing bankruptcy eleven times? And what ya?
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: What the stories about Gates filing six seven times bankruptcy?
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: What about Zuckerberg? It's rich boys? How about Bezos? It's
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: a lot of rich boys out in the world. You
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: don't hear about them filing bankruptcy? This so many times,
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: being in this so much trouble man, y'all got hoodwinking,
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: suckered by this dude, and you're gonna wear this when
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: yourself just climbing over the wall and all this here,
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: diving through windows and busting this out. This y'all, This,
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: y'all man, we're not in this with y'all. You ain't
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: doing no disservice to us. This disservice that's been happening
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: to been happening to us for four hundred years and more.
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: We'd have seen this before. It's shocking for everybody else,
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: ain't really shocking to us. Y'all got to rebuild y'all party.
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: And let me tell you what this is all from.
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: You know, the whole key, And this is the lesson
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: for us now, Steve Harve, listeners, this is our lesson.
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: Their reverence of Trump was greater than their reverence of God.
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: Anytime you hold a man up higher than your God,
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: this is what happens. Because this is all that happened, man,
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: This is exactly what happened. They hit. Their reverence of
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: him was greater than their reverence of God. And that
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: ain't what they party supposed to be. But you sold
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: it for power, position and money, and now that's what
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: you got. Y'all sitting here looking at this man trying
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: to trying to save face, trying to jump off the band,
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: wearing ted crews, talking around. You know, I've been against
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: him for four years. I've spoken again. Wow, I'm sitting
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: here looking at this dude. Man, Don't you think we fools?
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: You blatantly lie. What I'm really trying to figure out, though,
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: is when is the base gonna wake up and look
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: at what he did? Then you will hear him now
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: saying they should be punished for these crimes after he
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: sent y'all down there to commit it. Hey, man, we
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: don't you when y'all gonna wake up? This dude been
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: about himself the whole time, and now y'all sitting up here. Man,
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: y'all still following the dude that ain't leading. Y'all still
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: following the dude and ain't even trying to help y'all.
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: Ain't been in no rush to get them stimulus checks
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: out to y'all. Ain't been in no hurry to fight
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: get that vaccine to y'all. They've been sitting on this vaccine.
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: He the president, he didn't want He keep putting everything
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: on the state. He never led y'all. He don't care
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: none about y'all stimulus package. He don't care nothing about
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: y'all's dug goln health welfare Obamacare. Man. I wish I
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: could find something that I could read to y'all that
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: a friend of mine sent to me. I think I
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: can find it. But if I don't, I just can't.
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: But what you all gotta understand, man, is we could
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: do better than this. We got to stay prayed up,
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: prayed up. We gotta stay prayerful, We gotta stay in faith.
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: We gotta keep looking to our God. Just like he
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: didn't got us through everything else, he gonna get us
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: through this hill man. But don't be fooled by this dude, man,
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: and don't go down there and get it now. Listen
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: to this last morning they say that something is going
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: to happen on the twentieth. Listen to me, Steve Harvey. Listeners,
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: stay home, don't go down there. We don't need no
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: anti Trump rallies. Let them rally amongst themselves. We ain't
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: got to go down there and hold up our signs.
