- 2:08Speaker 7: one and only Steve Harvey, Oh yeah, man, got a
- 2:12Speaker 7: radio show. Do you understand that? I'm telling you God
- 2:16Speaker 7: been big in my life. God, God is a gentleman.
- 2:20Speaker 5: You know.
- 2:20Speaker 7: I want to I want to point that out to you.
- 2:23Speaker 7: God is an absolute gentleman. He will not come in
- 2:28Speaker 7: unless he's invited. He don't just barge into your life.
- 2:34Speaker 7: He gives us the power of choice.
- 2:37Speaker 5: You know.
- 2:37Speaker 7: If you say you got it, I don't need you,
- 2:40Speaker 7: he lets you have it. If you say I need you,
- 2:44Speaker 7: come see about me. He right there.
- 2:46Speaker 1: It's just a real simple thing, man.
- 2:49Speaker 7: So always say to people this, if you've gotten yourself
- 2:53Speaker 7: into something, and please know I have I.
- 3:00Speaker 1: Man see that.
- 3:01Speaker 7: That's why I'm so adamant about it because I've gotten
- 3:04Speaker 7: myself in some circumstances and positions in my life. Well,
- 3:08Speaker 7: I've been, I've been. I've had some low moments. Man,
- 3:12Speaker 7: I've had some moments where I did not know what
- 3:15Speaker 7: to do. I didn't know what was next, I didn't
- 3:20Speaker 7: know how to go about it. I didn't have no
- 3:22Speaker 7: more ideas. I was stuck. I thought a couple of times, well,
- 3:31Speaker 7: might not make it past this one. But then if
- 3:34Speaker 7: I don't make it past it, what's gonna happen? And
- 3:37Speaker 7: then I held on to this little thing that my
- 3:40Speaker 7: mother kept talking to me about. She said, sometimes some
- 3:43Speaker 7: when you ain't got nothing else in you, just hope,
- 3:47Speaker 7: she said, just hope it'll be all right, you know.
- 3:50Speaker 7: And what I've learned in my life is that hope
- 3:53Speaker 7: is the beginning of faith. Hope is just is there
- 3:58Speaker 7: possibility out there for me? I show hope, something happened.
- 4:05Speaker 7: See hope is okay, man, Because like I say, for me,
- 4:10Speaker 7: the way I've lived my life, hope was the beginning
- 4:13Speaker 7: of faith.
- 4:14Speaker 1: It was just the idea.
- 4:16Speaker 7: It's just the thought that something could change for me,
- 4:19Speaker 7: that something could be a little bit different from me,
- 4:22Speaker 7: that maybe man just maybe for some reason, I could
- 4:28Speaker 7: be saved, I could be rescued, things could turn around,
- 4:34Speaker 7: it could hit any other direction. Maybe I could quit
- 4:38Speaker 7: messing up. Maybe somebody will forgive me. Maybe somebody will
- 4:43Speaker 7: just say all right. I don't know, but I can't
- 4:47Speaker 7: count the times I've been in that position. But then
- 4:51Speaker 7: once I hope a little bit, and then I remember.
- 4:53Speaker 7: Also my mother, because she was a Sunday school teacher,
- 4:57Speaker 7: she taught me the most valuable lesson I've ever learn
- 5:00Speaker 7: in my life. Nothing has been greater in my life
- 5:03Speaker 7: than my faith. She taught me to pray. Mama used
- 5:08Speaker 7: to say, when it get real, dog for your son,
- 5:11Speaker 7: prayer changes things. She said, When you seem like you
- 5:15Speaker 7: lost and you can't find your way, stop and pray,
- 5:20Speaker 7: she said, because prayer.
- 5:21Speaker 1: Change is things.
- 5:23Speaker 7: You know, when you get a point in your life
- 5:24Speaker 7: when you've done all you can do and you can't
- 5:26Speaker 7: do no more and you just don't know what to
- 5:29Speaker 7: do next, she said, stop, son, pray and combine that
- 5:35Speaker 7: prayer with that hope that you got, she said, because
- 5:40Speaker 7: that hope is the beginning of faith.
- 5:43Speaker 1: She said.
- 5:43Speaker 7: If you pray just hoping, she said, to God, come
- 5:47Speaker 7: through for you. That'll give you confidence that he can
- 5:51Speaker 7: do it again. And then after a while, you quit hoping,
- 5:55Speaker 7: she say, and you start believing, she said. And that's
- 5:58Speaker 7: when you're on to something. If you can turn that
- 6:02Speaker 7: hope into belief, that hope into faith's that's the ability
- 6:13Speaker 7: to believe in something that you can't see.
- 6:16Speaker 1: But the key though, the faith is you're believing in
- 6:20Speaker 1: something that you can't see. See. Hoping a little bit
- 6:24Speaker 1: different from me now, I'm pretty sure.
- 6:25Speaker 7: Like I say, oftentimes to tell a lot of people
- 6:27Speaker 7: who can explain this thing a lot better than I
- 6:30Speaker 7: can to you, hope is just kind of I don't
- 6:33Speaker 7: know how to I don't know how to say it,
- 6:34Speaker 7: but I'm just telling you, hope is you're just hoping
- 6:37Speaker 7: it work right.
- 6:38Speaker 1: You just have a thought in your mind that you know.
- 6:42Speaker 7: Man, whoever you are, or whoever you are, whatever you are,
- 6:45Speaker 7: to me, God, I show hope something change.
- 6:49Speaker 1: Hope helps.
- 6:50Speaker 5: Man.
- 6:51Speaker 1: If you ain't strong enough to have faith, have hope.
- 6:56Speaker 7: Hope, and then if you pray with some hope and
- 7:01Speaker 7: God answers your prayer, then that hope gains a little confidence,
- 7:07Speaker 7: and after a while that confidence becomes faith. Now I
- 7:13Speaker 7: ain't just hoping, but I'm believing. I'm believing in something
- 7:18Speaker 7: that I cannot see. Faith has been the key to
- 7:25Speaker 7: my entire existence, even when I didn't have any It
- 7:32Speaker 7: was faith, as I look back on it, that has
- 7:36Speaker 7: gotten me here. And not just faith, but my faith. See,
- 7:43Speaker 7: you will only get to where you're going in your
- 7:46Speaker 7: life based on your faith.
- 7:51Speaker 1: See. A lot of people get the word faith confused,
- 7:54Speaker 1: like what's your faith?
- 7:56Speaker 7: And then they start going down this whole list of
- 7:58Speaker 7: all these different religions out here. But really an essence, man,
- 8:03Speaker 7: when I talk to people about faith, I'm talking to
- 8:05Speaker 7: you about your your belief. How much do you believe
- 8:12Speaker 7: in the unseen?
- 8:13Speaker 1: See? Faith is the core of all that is happening
- 8:19Speaker 1: to me today.
- 8:22Speaker 7: It is the faith that I have in my relationship
- 8:25Speaker 7: with God that enables me to just oftentimes if I
- 8:31Speaker 7: stay on the right course and believe a certain way
- 8:34Speaker 7: and act a certain way, his blessings just poor.
- 8:40Speaker 1: They just come.
- 8:42Speaker 7: And it comes in a lot of little ways too.
- 8:44Speaker 7: I've started to notice. See, it ain't just a lot
- 8:47Speaker 7: of people think blessings is money, Nah, man, that ain't it.
- 8:50Speaker 7: It's coverage. It's every time my plane lands safe. It's
- 8:56Speaker 7: every time they predict bad weather and I get up
- 8:59Speaker 7: in the sky and don't be no bad Whether you
- 9:02Speaker 7: know this is this is favor. These are blessings that
- 9:06Speaker 7: get poured out to me. Somebody call me and offer
- 9:09Speaker 7: me something, not money, but an opportunity. See, blessings come
- 9:16Speaker 7: a lot of ways. But once you tie in to God,
- 9:21Speaker 7: once you tie in and you start doing the best
- 9:24Speaker 7: you can do, and you start asking for him to
- 9:27Speaker 7: make you a better person, to help shape and mold
- 9:31Speaker 7: you into the kind of man or person that he
- 9:34Speaker 7: wants you to be. You be amazed what God can
- 9:37Speaker 7: do with you. Man, if you just invite me in
- 9:39Speaker 7: and allow him to be a part of your life.
- 9:42Speaker 7: I mean, what you got to lose out there? Come on,
- 9:45Speaker 7: why would you not change? Why would you not allow
- 9:49Speaker 7: God to be a part of your life. God got
- 9:51Speaker 7: some big plans for you. If he didn't, you wouldn't
- 9:54Speaker 7: keep waking up.
- 9:57Speaker 8: You're listening.
- 10:00Speaker 1: Show, ladies and gentlemen. The time has come.
- 10:05Speaker 7: Time to give thanks, gratitude, get your mind right wrapped
- 10:09Speaker 7: around another blessing, another opportunity. That's it, and that's a
- 10:12Speaker 7: new day. You Come on, man, come on, please don't
- 10:15Speaker 7: take this regreted these days. It's precious. They can only
- 10:18Speaker 7: be given by the Creator.
- 10:20Speaker 1: It's him.
- 10:20Speaker 7: He done done it again to Steve Harvey Morning Show
- 10:23Speaker 7: is because of him. You are because of him. Man,
- 10:30Speaker 7: you know what, we in good hands. If you got
- 10:33Speaker 7: to be in somebody's hands. God's hands is the place
- 10:36Speaker 7: to be.
- 10:37Speaker 1: Not all state not you know, I mean they got
- 10:43Speaker 1: good hands. You know, they's always good to have a
- 10:47Speaker 1: good neighbor. You know, all that's not you know, yeah, yeah,
- 10:53Speaker 1: But man, when you in God's hands, you got some going.

- 13:51Speaker 1: This right here is a pecan tree. Pecan tree let's
- 13:56Speaker 1: go catch on.
- 13:58Speaker 5: Hello.
- 13:59Speaker 1: Hello, I'm sure to reach h LC. Hey, let me
- 14:04Speaker 1: let me. Hey.
- 14:05Speaker 10: My name is Marcus, my mom and them little next
- 14:08Speaker 10: door to you, Mr, and missus my mom and daddy
- 14:11Speaker 10: little next door to you. And I was calling because
- 14:14Speaker 10: y'all got a pecan tree in y'all backyard, I mean
- 14:18Speaker 10: right on the fence line and to keep you know,
- 14:21Speaker 10: pecans and stuff keep falling over into my mom and
- 14:23Speaker 10: them yard. So I tald to see if y'all can
- 14:27Speaker 10: do something man, where y'all can pick up I mean,
- 14:30Speaker 10: my mom and them have got a little older.
- 14:32Speaker 1: You know, we've been picking them up for a long time.
- 14:35Speaker 10: But I need somebody to, like, maybe you can cut
- 14:37Speaker 10: the limbs back that's hanging over so that they won't,
- 14:40Speaker 10: you know, the pecans won't be falling over into my
- 14:43Speaker 10: mom and them yard, cause you know, for them to
- 14:45Speaker 10: be bending over like there picking up them pecan and
- 14:47Speaker 10: it's a lot of them. So, you know, mister, I
- 14:50Speaker 10: just wanted to holler at you and see if you
- 14:52Speaker 10: don't mind maybe cutting the limbs back, because even when
- 14:55Speaker 10: we turn the lawnmower on and stuff, man, it's just
- 14:57Speaker 10: you know, the pecans and stuff be coming out of
- 14:59Speaker 10: the lawmo just shooting all over the place.
- 15:02Speaker 11: Well, first of all, mather con trill is an old
- 15:06Speaker 11: for con tree, and it's fout well, and I can't
- 15:11Speaker 11: see me cutting it.
- 15:13Speaker 1: Well.
- 15:13Speaker 5: I mean, I'm not saying you can't.
- 15:15Speaker 11: Have nobody to maintain your yard, but I mean you
- 15:20Speaker 11: is your mother. You can maintain your mother's.
- 15:23Speaker 5: Yard, Sir.
- 15:24Speaker 10: I go by my mother's house, you know, every other
- 15:27Speaker 10: day and check on them. But I don't have time
- 15:28Speaker 10: to go in the back and pick up pecans and stuff.
- 15:31Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying.
- 15:32Speaker 10: I mean, if you just it don't seem no more
- 15:34Speaker 10: than like maybe four or five limbs that's hanging over there.
- 15:37Speaker 10: But they're four or five limbs, I mean they there's
- 15:39Speaker 10: a lot of pecans falling off of that.
- 15:41Speaker 11: So mava con tree is shady. I goes back there,
- 15:46Speaker 11: there's nothing, no kind of nothing back there. Okay, want
- 15:51Speaker 11: to rake the yard whatever, sir. I'm not cutting my
- 15:54Speaker 11: tree for like that, sir.
- 15:56Speaker 10: Listen, what I'm what I'm trying to get you to
- 15:58Speaker 10: do is I'm not I want you cutting your entire
- 16:00Speaker 10: tree down. I just want you to cut a few limbs, sir,
- 16:02Speaker 10: so you know those that way that those are the
- 16:05Speaker 10: ones that are hanging over it won't be you know,
- 16:07Speaker 10: the pecans won't be falling over into my mom's them yard.
- 16:10Speaker 1: And and you know, like I say, they are older now, man,
- 16:13Speaker 1: they can't be bending over like that.
- 16:14Speaker 10: So you know, I'm I'm just coming to you as
- 16:17Speaker 10: a man right now and asking you, will you please
- 16:20Speaker 10: cut this down so these pecans can quit falling over
- 16:22Speaker 10: my mom.
- 16:22Speaker 1: And them yard.
- 16:23Speaker 11: Almost then you all you can do is someone, okay,
- 16:27Speaker 11: someone I know your mother. Don't cut your yard.
- 16:30Speaker 1: No, it's it's a guy that it's a guy that
- 16:32Speaker 1: cuts the yard.
- 16:33Speaker 10: But even when he cutting the yard, these pecans is
- 16:36Speaker 10: flying out from underneath the yard the lawn more they
- 16:39Speaker 10: they So the lady, we're gonna be breaking windows over there.
- 16:41Speaker 11: What kind of lawn person you have that don't pick
- 16:45Speaker 11: up before they cut?
- 16:46Speaker 5: That's food?
- 16:47Speaker 1: Why am I arguing with you about picking up stuff
- 16:49Speaker 1: and all of this?
- 16:50Speaker 10: I'm asking you to cut a funky left five limbs
- 16:53Speaker 10: So these dogs on pecans they.
- 16:54Speaker 1: Are falling off my mama yard.
- 16:56Speaker 10: You want to cut, You're gonna make me come over
- 16:59Speaker 10: here and cut the I would come cut the whole
- 17:01Speaker 10: damn tree down.
- 17:03Speaker 6: You ain't gonna put my tree. I grew that tree
- 17:06Speaker 6: from when I was a kid, and that tree gonna
- 17:08Speaker 6: stay in there your long as I say.
- 17:10Speaker 10: Though, sir, look, I didn't ask you like a man
- 17:13Speaker 10: to cut your little funkey pecan tree down.
- 17:15Speaker 5: Now.
- 17:16Speaker 1: I ain't fin the hat.
- 17:17Speaker 6: No what, no what?
- 17:18Speaker 5: Guess what?
- 17:19Speaker 6: You you you bad?
- 17:21Speaker 5: Ugh?
- 17:21Speaker 11: You come cut it up in look.
- 17:24Speaker 10: Sir, tonight today rather this evening. It's either gonna be
- 17:29Speaker 10: two thingight happening. Either you gonna cut these five limbs
- 17:32Speaker 10: that I won't cut off in the cut, cut the
- 17:34Speaker 10: whole damn pecan tree down.
- 17:36Speaker 11: That's my tree in any game, nothing's gonna with my tree.
- 17:40Speaker 11: I'm here right now. You're not hearing them in yard

- 17:46Speaker 1: I will bring my right hold back.
- 17:48Speaker 6: You know what, I just get my number in a.
- 17:50Speaker 5: Way got your mother.
- 17:52Speaker 1: I got it because it's the same.
- 17:54Speaker 10: It's one address less than my mama. You gonna cut
- 17:57Speaker 10: this damn tree down.
- 17:58Speaker 11: I'm wasn't on a good anyway, man.
- 18:00Speaker 6: I ain't use my preaching stelling in the long tip

- 18:16Speaker 1: See that's what's right.
- 18:17Speaker 6: You know what you can do.
- 18:18Speaker 11: Tell your mama to make a forcran pie and bring
- 18:20Speaker 11: me a piece.
- 18:21Speaker 1: What you say by my mama.
- 18:23Speaker 11: Tell her to make a precan pie and come for me.
- 18:27Speaker 11: Tell my mama what make a forcan pie with?
- 18:32Speaker 1: Make a pecan pie.
- 18:33Speaker 10: I don't want no pecan pou We don't even eat

- 40:29Speaker 10: put fish in there and get it ready for the
- 40:30Speaker 10: next morning. That gig paid fifty dollars for that night.
- 40:34Speaker 10: Fifty dollars. One more thing for you. Bubba doll passed
- 40:38Speaker 10: by the house. His brother getting out of jail. He

- 40:42Speaker 10: All right, but now he got a package. He wants

- 40:56Speaker 10: right here we go.
- 40:58Speaker 1: First of all.
- 41:00Speaker 7: First of all, I ain't got nothing to do with
- 41:04Speaker 7: dropping off no package up in shaking the heights back
- 41:06Speaker 7: here eighty five, cause back people can go up there
- 41:09Speaker 7: by van. They the knowed I was up there doing
- 41:11Speaker 7: something that's four hundred dollars ain't nothing for some damn
- 41:13Speaker 7: prison time. So I ain't dropping off no package. We
- 41:16Speaker 7: can ignore that right there. What was the first one
- 41:19Speaker 7: you said? The first one was.
- 41:23Speaker 6: Old?
- 41:24Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah yeah.
- 41:25Speaker 7: I ain't going down there cleaning no damn floors, because
- 41:27Speaker 7: once I got into comedy, I was committed to it.
- 41:29Speaker 1: So I ain't cleaning no floors. I ain't dropping off
- 41:31Speaker 1: no damn package.
- 41:32Speaker 7: I'm not going to jails for his ass down there
- 41:35Speaker 7: in Lancaster because I don't look good in Lancaster outfits.
- 41:38Speaker 1: Now Here we go. I got two, I got two
- 41:41Speaker 1: seventy five. Rent is due.
- 41:43Speaker 7: I'm finish, go make five and the lights is off. Okay,
- 41:47Speaker 7: damn them lights. I'm gonna take that two seventy five.
- 41:49Speaker 7: I'm gonna go down to Giant Tiger. I'm gonna buy
- 41:52Speaker 7: me twenty four candles. Have them lit all up around
- 41:55Speaker 7: the house. I don't need no damn lights. We ain't
- 41:58Speaker 7: gotta worry about this refrigerator getting this back on, because
- 42:01Speaker 7: I'm gonna go down there at the quick trip and
- 42:02Speaker 7: I'm gonna eat down there while I'm standing in the aisle.
- 42:05Speaker 1: I can get some meat.
- 42:06Speaker 7: That ain't no problem. Then I'm gonna gasp up the
- 42:08Speaker 7: car back in eighty five. I could gas up the
- 42:11Speaker 7: car for ten dollars. I drive on down to Cincinnati.
- 42:14Speaker 7: I make this five. I get back with that five hundred.
- 42:18Speaker 7: I got that two seventy five. I'm down the two
- 42:20Speaker 7: sixty five. I'll just spend about another twenty five dollars
- 42:23Speaker 7: on some groceries. I got about two fifty left. I
- 42:25Speaker 7: get down here, I make this five hundred. I pay
- 42:28Speaker 7: this rent. Got to have this rent on. Now, them
- 42:30Speaker 7: lights on down there, I go down there, I put
- 42:32Speaker 7: something on them, damn light. Now, I put a little
- 42:37Speaker 7: something down on them lights, and see if I can
- 42:39Speaker 7: talk to some girl down there, see if she can
- 42:41Speaker 7: cut them on just temporarily until I come back with
- 42:44Speaker 7: the other half.
- 42:45Speaker 1: If she can't, I.
- 42:48Speaker 7: Can't give her that whole sixty, So I just keep
- 42:51Speaker 7: That's why I bought some twenty four candles. I blow
- 42:53Speaker 7: them out for I leave the house, so I can
- 42:55Speaker 7: just light them every time I come in. Now, I
- 42:57Speaker 7: don't light all of them. I just like the ones
- 42:59Speaker 7: who room I.
- 43:01Speaker 1: So now, now I got this wrint back and I
- 43:03Speaker 1: still got two fifty. What but why would we not
- 43:06Speaker 1: take some of the two fifty and turn these lights
- 43:08Speaker 1: back on?
- 43:09Speaker 7: Though I ain't got to do that, because I'm gonna
- 43:11Speaker 7: just go across the hall, get me a stenchion cord
- 43:13Speaker 7: and plug it up to the people house next door,
- 43:15Speaker 7: and then I'm gonna have me a little bit of juice.
- 43:17Speaker 1: All I need is a lamp in there. But you
- 43:19Speaker 1: said you was gonna buy some groceries. You did say grocery,
- 43:22Speaker 1: So what's with the groceries? Yeah, no, no, that was
- 43:24Speaker 1: twenty five dollars worth of grocery. Get down to the gig.
- 43:27Speaker 7: Yeah, that's why I got down two old Oh, y'all's
- 43:31Speaker 7: I been here before. But I get that refrigerator, but
- 43:34Speaker 7: I get that core across that with the double unit

- 53:44Speaker 3: Than I do.
- 53:45Speaker 8: Here Stephen Shirley, I'm newly divorced and dating again at
- 53:48Speaker 8: fifty three years old. My aunt set me up with
- 53:50Speaker 8: a handsome bald man that has a great smile but
- 53:53Speaker 8: a quirky personality. I cannot figure out what's up with
- 53:57Speaker 8: him until recently. He's a school administer and he does
- 54:01Speaker 8: educational videos for the school district, so he's really into
- 54:06Speaker 8: how he looks. On our first date, he told me
- 54:08Speaker 8: that he bleaches his teeth regularly and he gets fillers
- 54:12Speaker 8: in his face. We have been dating four months and
- 54:14Speaker 8: he still won't tell me how old he is, but
- 54:17Speaker 8: he looks like he's slightly older than I am. I
- 54:21Speaker 8: enjoy his company and I got used to him going
- 54:23Speaker 8: on and on about himself on our date. He always
- 54:27Speaker 8: jokes about holding his stomach in when we were on date,
- 54:31Speaker 8: but I do the same thing, so that was no
- 54:33Speaker 8: big deal. He's fun to hang out with, but he
- 54:36Speaker 8: has a problem with being honest and telling me things
- 54:39Speaker 8: about himself. Excuse me, Here's what happened. He's back. His
- 54:44Speaker 8: back and tummy always felt firm, so I eventually asked
- 54:47Speaker 8: him if he wears a back brace. He said he
- 54:51Speaker 8: just got a muscular back. Not true. This past week,
- 54:54Speaker 8: we were intimate for the first time, and I finally
- 54:58Speaker 8: saw what's hiding under his closed He had on a
- 55:01Speaker 8: very fitted tank top that pressed against his chest and stomach.
- 55:06Speaker 8: It looked like a compression shirt. He had on a
- 55:08Speaker 8: pair of skin tight biker shorts that went down to
- 55:11Speaker 8: his knees. After he got naked, he looked twenty pounds heavier.
- 55:15Speaker 8: His skin was squishy and wrinkly. He said he's self conscious,
- 55:20Speaker 8: So I tried to reassure him, but I was really
- 55:23Speaker 8: turned off. I am worried that he might be concealing
- 55:25Speaker 8: other stuff. What should I do? Learn to love the
- 55:28Speaker 8: fat or let him go? You're worried that he might
- 55:32Speaker 8: be concealing other stuff, other stuff, Like what what else
- 55:35Speaker 8: is he concealing? I'm really trying to understand what exactly
- 55:39Speaker 8: is your issue here? You like him, You enjoy his company,
- 55:43Speaker 8: you like hanging out with him. You said he's handsome,
- 55:45Speaker 8: he has a nice smile that he bleaches regularly on.
- 55:49Speaker 8: He has a good job, But your problem is, I think,
- 55:53Speaker 8: is that certain things you want to know about him
- 55:57Speaker 8: that he hasn't told.
- 55:58Speaker 1: You yet, Like what how old he is?
- 56:00Speaker 8: He hasn't told you that. I guess you can google
- 56:04Speaker 8: that if you really really wanted to know. And he's
- 56:05Speaker 8: still not telling you. He wants you to think he's younger.
- 56:12Speaker 8: I mean, what are you trying to say. You say
- 56:14Speaker 8: he doesn't talk to you a lot, he doesn't open up,
- 56:17Speaker 8: But then you said earlier in the letter that he
- 56:19Speaker 8: goes on and on and on about himself. So when
- 56:23Speaker 8: he's talking about himself, do you think to ask him
- 56:26Speaker 8: whatever it is you want to know about him. I
- 56:29Speaker 8: just think you're mad because he wears body shapers and
- 56:31Speaker 8: you don't think body shapers are very manly. That's what
- 56:34Speaker 8: it sounds like. He doesn't seem to be happy about
- 56:37Speaker 8: him either, because when he undressed with you, he confessed
- 56:40Speaker 8: that he was self conscious about his body, and you
- 56:43Speaker 8: said you didn't want to crush him, so you try
- 56:45Speaker 8: to reassure him, but you got turned up. Listen, everybody
- 56:49Speaker 8: looks different naked. Some people look better to naked, some
- 56:52Speaker 8: people don't look so good naked. So I say, if
- 56:56Speaker 8: you like the man, and he's only about twenty pounds underweight.
- 56:59Speaker 8: Why don't you guys, you know, if you really like him,
- 57:01Speaker 8: you like hanging out, hang out at the gym, work
- 57:04Speaker 8: out Steve.
- 57:07Speaker 7: Girl, girl, you know you are so kind surely that
- 57:12Speaker 7: it irritates me sometimes you are just such a kind person.
- 57:16Speaker 7: You always be nice to these people they call in
- 57:19Speaker 7: and fat ass sitting up in here lying to this
- 57:21Speaker 7: woman all downtown. That's just gonna get to it now,
- 57:24Speaker 7: I ain't mean, I just like ten truth. Let's just
- 57:26Speaker 7: gonna get to truth. Then he wear more shape wear
- 57:30Speaker 7: than I do. All right, you divorced and you start
- 57:33Speaker 7: dating again at fifty three years old, Mom set me
- 57:36Speaker 7: up with a handsome ball man, had a great smile
- 57:39Speaker 7: but a quirky personality. Why is he available? You know
- 57:43Speaker 7: you gonna find out that he older than you, But
- 57:45Speaker 7: why is he even available?
- 57:47Speaker 1: What happened?
- 57:48Speaker 7: You need to learn some history. I ain't quit figured
- 57:52Speaker 7: out what's up with him until recently. He's a school administrator.
- 57:56Speaker 7: He does educational videos for school. So it's really into
- 57:59Speaker 7: how he looks on his first date. Now, this is
- 58:02Speaker 7: what he told you, that he bleaches his teeth regularly.
- 58:05Speaker 7: How often do your damn teeth need bleaching. But are
- 58:09Speaker 7: you chewing your damn cigarettes? Why do you all the
- 58:13Speaker 7: time gotta bleach your damn teeth? What are you eating?
- 58:20Speaker 7: And he gets fellers in his face? Now, theny way,
- 58:26Speaker 7: we need to start showing some concern because when you
- 58:29Speaker 7: start getting fillers in your face, you trying to make
- 58:33Speaker 7: your face look fatter.
- 58:36Speaker 1: So what if he don't get the fellers? I'm thinking skeletal.
- 58:41Speaker 7: I'm thinking he's sitting up there looking like a damn skeleton,
- 58:45Speaker 7: so he gotta put some fat in his face. Now
- 58:49Speaker 7: hold on to that thought, because I'm gonna tell you
- 58:52Speaker 7: why he's looking skeletal. I have figured this letter out.
- 58:58Speaker 7: So now y'all been dating for four months and he
- 59:01Speaker 7: still won't tell me how old he is. He looks
- 59:06Speaker 7: like he's slightly older than me. He is, And let
- 59:09Speaker 7: me ask you a question. What man don't tell his age?
- 59:14Speaker 7: That's really not a thing for us. I'm very rarely here,
- 59:19Speaker 7: man tell me none. Now, don't ask me how old
- 59:21Speaker 7: I am?
- 59:24Speaker 5: Dog?
- 59:25Speaker 1: What kind of dude is this?
- 59:27Speaker 7: That's not really im Women, I understand you know it's
- 59:31Speaker 7: improper to ask a woman how much she weighed, how
- 59:34Speaker 7: old she is but a dude.
- 59:36Speaker 10: Man.
- 59:38Speaker 7: Oh, I enjoyed company, and I got used to him
- 59:41Speaker 7: going on and on about himself. He's joked about holding
- 59:44Speaker 7: his stomach in, but I do too. All right, So
- 59:47Speaker 7: both of y'all sucking your stomach in, that ain't no problem.
- 59:50Speaker 7: But when we come back, though, I'm gonna tell you
- 59:51Speaker 7: what he is the problem. I didn't figure it out.
- 59:57Speaker 8: Hang on for part two of Steve's response up at
- 1:00:00Speaker 8: twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's strawberry letter, subject
- 1:00:03Speaker 8: he wears more shapewear than I do. We'll get back
- 1:00:06Speaker 8: into it right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:00:11Speaker 8: All right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:00:14Speaker 8: The subject is he wears more shapeware than I do.
- 1:00:17Speaker 7: Fifty three year old woman back in the Dayton Game.
- 1:00:21Speaker 7: Her aunt set up with a very handsome man, a
- 1:00:25Speaker 7: very very handsome, but he has a quirky personality.
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: They go out of date. He tell her that he
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: regularly bleaches his teeth. Who regularly bleach? They damn teeth?
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: What are you eating?
- 1:00:39Speaker 7: I'm assuming instead of smoking this cigarette, he eating them. Really,
- 1:00:45Speaker 7: it's up to you and tobacco. I can't think of
- 1:00:47Speaker 7: why you need to regularly bleach your teeth, But then
- 1:00:50Speaker 7: here was a chaka. He gets fillers in his face. Now,
- 1:00:54Speaker 7: why would a person need phillis in his face? For
- 1:00:57Speaker 7: when naturally you get older, your head and face get bigger.
- 1:01:02Speaker 7: But unless you have done what I think he's done,
- 1:01:05Speaker 7: he's sitting over there looking skeletal. So he got to
- 1:01:08Speaker 7: get some fellers because his face is sunken, eyes is sunken.
- 1:01:13Speaker 7: He looked like the dead now, and he won't tell
- 1:01:17Speaker 7: you how old he is. Most men don't have a
- 1:01:21Speaker 7: problem with that. So now you have a problem with
- 1:01:23Speaker 7: the man that is into hisself. And you've gotten used
- 1:01:26Speaker 7: to him talking about hisself on date. You enjoy his
- 1:01:28Speaker 7: company and everything. And he joked about holding his stomach
- 1:01:32Speaker 7: in when y'all was on dates, and you said, that's
- 1:01:34Speaker 7: cool because I hold mine into. Ain't no big deal.
- 1:01:37Speaker 7: He's fun to hang out with, but he has a
- 1:01:39Speaker 7: problem being honest and telling me things about himself. Here's
- 1:01:42Speaker 7: what happened. His back and Tommy always felt firm, so
- 1:01:46Speaker 7: I eventually asked him if he wears a back brace.
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: He said no, he got a muscular back. Really you
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: mad about that your back, damn.
- 1:01:56Speaker 7: Muscular dog with your old sunk in the ass face.
- 1:02:01Speaker 7: Now all of a sudden, your back is in shape.
- 1:02:04Speaker 7: But you just told her you gotta suck your stomach
- 1:02:07Speaker 7: ain lie after lie after lie. He's just sitting up there,
- 1:02:11Speaker 7: just a big old swoll, just sitting up there. Y'all
- 1:02:13Speaker 7: can't even enjoy your date because he just swore. But anyway,
- 1:02:17Speaker 7: this past week we got intimate for the first time,
- 1:02:20Speaker 7: and I finally saw what was hiding under his clothes.
- 1:02:24Speaker 7: He had on a fitted tank top that pressed against
- 1:02:27Speaker 7: his chest and stomach.
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: It looked like a compression shirt. Y'all.
- 1:02:30Speaker 7: Remember back when we was doing the show in Atlanta,
- 1:02:33Speaker 7: that company came over and gave us all that compression stuff.
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: And I put that tank top on, Yeah, and I
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: couldn't get it off.
- 1:02:44Speaker 5: Dude.
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: We had to cut it off.
- 1:02:45Speaker 7: Bought that damn tank top with all so tight. It
- 1:02:49Speaker 7: was a slimming tank top, but it mashed your chest
- 1:02:52Speaker 7: down too. I didn't like it, but I caught hell
- 1:02:56Speaker 7: getting it off, So I am familiar with these compression shirts.
- 1:03:00Speaker 7: He had on a pair of skin tight biker shorts
- 1:03:02Speaker 7: that went down to his knees. That's the compression draws well.
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: In other words, he had.
- 1:03:08Speaker 7: On spanks t shirt and a spank's bottom, and then
- 1:03:17Speaker 7: after he got naked, he looked twenty pounds heavy. His
- 1:03:20Speaker 7: skin was squishy and wrinkly. Now let me tell you
- 1:03:24Speaker 7: what happened. This is why he gets face fillers, and
- 1:03:28Speaker 7: this is why he wear all this compression stuff. Boy
- 1:03:31Speaker 7: used to be real fat. Then he got that surgery
- 1:03:36Speaker 7: because he vain. He got a lap band and he'd
- 1:03:41Speaker 7: lost a whole bunch of weight. Now his skin is sagging,
- 1:03:45Speaker 7: squishy and wrinkly, and that's why he's embarrassed. He got
- 1:03:50Speaker 7: a lap band, that's why he wearing all this compression stuff.
- 1:03:54Speaker 7: But he took his clothes off and all hell broke loose.
- 1:03:58Speaker 7: And that's what she got. And that's why he don't
- 1:04:00Speaker 7: talk about hisself. She talked about he looked twenty pounds
- 1:04:03Speaker 7: heavy in his skin, saggy and wrinkly. He had that surgery.
- 1:04:08Speaker 7: I'm worried that he might be concealing other stuff. Well,
- 1:04:12Speaker 7: he don't tell you about hisself. The man not being honest.
- 1:04:15Speaker 7: Y'all have a good time long as he ain't talking,
- 1:04:18Speaker 7: because he's usually lying So what happened to that musk
- 1:04:21Speaker 7: glass back he had? So it turned into a spanks
- 1:04:25Speaker 7: top and a spank's bottom. Now he's squishing, he's soft.
- 1:04:30Speaker 7: Do I learn how to love the fat or let
- 1:04:32Speaker 7: him go? Well, you got a choice to make. I
- 1:04:34Speaker 7: don't know how the loving was, y'all was intimate for
- 1:04:36Speaker 7: the first time. Was he bringing it or was he
- 1:04:39Speaker 7: bringing it like a fat man? You gotta make that decision.
- 1:04:43Speaker 7: Was he bringing it or was he bringing it like
- 1:04:45Speaker 7: a fat man? So you got to ask that. Well,
- 1:04:48Speaker 7: it's over quick and it's slow.
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: He tied? He tied. If he's exhausted fast.
- 1:04:55Speaker 8: Oh, if he's overweight, you're saying.
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: Well, you know, yeah, he ain't got no DaMina.
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: You know.
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: Was his skin in the way?
- 1:05:04Speaker 5: Was it?
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: How bad was his sagging?
- 1:05:07Speaker 8: Was his skin in the way?
- 1:05:09Speaker 7: Well, when he was standing there, could you see everything?
- 1:05:12Speaker 7: Because you keep talking about he's concealing some other stuff.
- 1:05:14Speaker 7: When he was standing there, was his skin sagging down?
- 1:05:17Speaker 7: Didn't look like he had on the mini skirt. I'm
- 1:05:19Speaker 7: just asking, Wow, he's the thing. You need to consider.
- 1:05:24Speaker 7: How much loose skin, big boy have? It ain't going nowhere.
- 1:05:28Speaker 7: You gotta go get that surgery, get that skin, take
- 1:05:30Speaker 7: up cut off. But he'd just spent all his money
- 1:05:33Speaker 7: bleaching his damn teeth and putting him face fillers in.
- 1:05:35Speaker 7: That's why his face need that fat in it, because
- 1:05:37Speaker 7: he done sunking. He skeletal. Now how muscular was he?
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: Now?
- 1:05:44Speaker 7: If he's a nice guy and y'all have a wonderful time,
- 1:05:46Speaker 7: do you got to find out about it? Gotta get
- 1:05:49Speaker 7: your hands on that driver's license. Next time he getting naked,
- 1:05:53Speaker 7: just walk over there to the counter. He can't get
- 1:05:54Speaker 7: up real fast cause he got to pull all that
- 1:05:56Speaker 7: skin together. Just going over there and open up the
- 1:06:00Speaker 7: wallet right in from and take a look at that
- 1:06:02Speaker 7: driver's lie.

- 1:09:44Speaker 8: He warned me about his daddy and his uncle being frisky.
- 1:09:47Speaker 8: They're dirty old twins with filthy mouths and wandering eyes.
- 1:09:52Speaker 8: My fiance's mom told me to ignore them because none
- 1:09:54Speaker 8: of their quote parts work anymore. That wasn't funny, and
- 1:09:58Speaker 8: I was offended by the tw staring me up and
- 1:10:01Speaker 8: down and flirting with me. My fiance didn't tell them
- 1:10:03Speaker 8: to stop it. He called me bougie and said everyone
- 1:10:08Speaker 8: knows that they're just playing. Why wouldn't he tell the
- 1:10:10Speaker 8: twins to knock it off and leave me alone.
- 1:10:13Speaker 7: They look the mama told you that's how they are,
- 1:10:18Speaker 7: that's how they You know, it's family them.

- 1:10:54Speaker 7: Come on, now, you know how families can be. This
- 1:10:58Speaker 7: old black family. They're not fit to change. The mama
- 1:11:02Speaker 7: told you that their parts don't.
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: Even work no more.
- 1:11:05Speaker 7: Don't worry about them, gun, just family issue. He not
- 1:11:09Speaker 7: man in the family. And you had to go down

- 1:11:27Speaker 8: Uncle, all right, we have time for another one. This
- 1:11:31Speaker 8: is from Tracy and Houston. Tracy says, my divorce will
- 1:11:34Speaker 8: be final soon, but my husband is already engaged. Not
- 1:11:38Speaker 8: only did he cheat on me, but he publicly proposed
- 1:11:41Speaker 8: the day he filed for divorce. A lot of our
- 1:11:43Speaker 8: mutual friends were. Yeah, a lot of our mutual friends
- 1:11:46Speaker 8: were at the proposal dinner, and now they can't even
- 1:11:49Speaker 8: look me in the face. My own mother said that
- 1:11:51Speaker 8: my husband kept telling me he wasn't happy, but I
- 1:11:55Speaker 8: acted like it would get better. I understand that I
- 1:11:58Speaker 8: wasn't being realistic, But can can I get some support?
- 1:12:01Speaker 8: Is he the only one that deserves happiness here?
- 1:12:05Speaker 6: No?
- 1:12:05Speaker 7: No, you can be happy too, but you ain't gonna
- 1:12:08Speaker 7: be happy worrying about him. He'd a moved on.
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: He gone.
- 1:12:13Speaker 7: You sitting up here wondering what everybody else opinion is,
- 1:12:16Speaker 7: go live your life?
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: Can I get some support here? But what you want?
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: Stop wallowing in something? He gone? After y'all filed for divorce, he.
- 1:12:28Speaker 8: Proposed, Yeah, same day he gone.
- 1:12:33Speaker 7: All y'all friends was at the engagement party, proposal party,
- 1:12:36Speaker 7: whatever it was, they gone. He told you he wasn't
- 1:12:42Speaker 7: happy and then you tried to act like he was
- 1:12:43Speaker 7: gonna get better. Well, it show did for him, So
- 1:12:50Speaker 7: come on, lady, let's move on, pick up your marbles
- 1:12:54Speaker 7: and go somewhere else. He gone, and and and you
- 1:13:01Speaker 7: and you and you can quit.
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: Won't in him?
- 1:13:04Speaker 8: Was her mother trying to give her a hint when
- 1:13:06Speaker 8: she said what the husband said? She told them, yeah
- 1:13:10Speaker 8: she did.
- 1:13:11Speaker 7: But see everybody know how she is, but she won't
- 1:13:14Speaker 7: support she wants everybody knows, lady that you know how
- 1:13:18Speaker 7: you are.
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: Stop this.
- 1:13:20Speaker 7: Let's move forward. The man told you he wasn't happen,
- 1:13:25Speaker 7: you ignore it and act like it was gonna get better.
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: Get better?
- 1:13:27Speaker 8: How Yeah, she said, she understands that she was not
- 1:13:31Speaker 8: being realistic.
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: Okay, well not get realistic.
- 1:13:35Speaker 8: Yeah, he don't.
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: Get your fantasia. You don't want me, Go for yourself.

- 1:16:19Speaker 1: Got to put that doll that day you right now?
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: That dog got to be. Got to have that dole,
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: that damn bathroom, honking damn about that pass hold. You

- 1:16:33Speaker 1: doing that? What did you eat?
- 1:16:37Speaker 10: Are you?
- 1:16:38Speaker 6: No?
- 1:16:39Speaker 7: We ain't got no dough in that bathroom. I could
- 1:16:42Speaker 7: set that phone right there in the hallway at the doorway.
- 1:16:45Speaker 7: You ain't gonna come get it, But.
- 1:16:48Speaker 8: Tell me, you know you are about the phone.
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: You know about the bathroom you're gonna have doing the
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: bathroom you live.
- 1:16:58Speaker 8: When it comes to the phone, all right, we did
- 1:17:00Speaker 8: you rather coworkers can read your mind? Or would you
- 1:17:03Speaker 8: rather your coworkers can see through your clothes?
- 1:17:06Speaker 5: Don't?
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: God damn, but y'all like that.
- 1:17:10Speaker 5: What y'all can do?
- 1:17:14Speaker 10: No matter what co workers can do. Yet, whether you
- 1:17:16Speaker 10: can read my mind? Y'all can read my man? One
- 1:17:21Speaker 10: read my mind, so you can really understand how I feel?
- 1:17:24Speaker 7: Please, Steve Hell, if you can see through these clothes,
- 1:17:28Speaker 7: you'll know what's on my mind. Yeah, look over here
- 1:17:37Speaker 7: if you want you good morning, Good morning to you. Yeah, Steve,
- 1:17:48Speaker 7: we're just talking about I heard you.
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: Sure all right?
- 1:17:56Speaker 8: Would you rather your mid section is reversed, which means
- 1:18:00Speaker 8: your butt your booty is in front? Okay? Or would
- 1:18:03Speaker 8: you rather your faces reverse? Which one my face looking
- 1:18:07Speaker 8: at the back or.
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: Covid. I just have to have my booty in the front.
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: I could just do that. Is it not taking my
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: bottles and putting it behind me.
- 1:18:19Speaker 10: I don't want my face to be on the same
- 1:18:20Speaker 10: side my ass on, so I didn't need them switched up.
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: Long as they switched up.
- 1:18:25Speaker 7: Okay, Well, if you got a big enough gut, it
- 1:18:31Speaker 7: kind of look like your ass in the front anyway.
- 1:18:36Speaker 7: I know a lot of dudes look like they looking
- 1:18:38Speaker 7: out over the ass all day long. All right, well
- 1:18:46Speaker 7: you ain't being over and tie your shoes up. Probably
- 1:18:49Speaker 7: your ass is in the way anyway, all.
- 1:18:53Speaker 8: Right, would you rather learn the latest TikTok dance or
- 1:18:58Speaker 8: would you rather go dancing with your act?
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: I'll be all on TikTok all night long on ticture.
- 1:19:07Speaker 8: Junior hears it, okay, trying to get it together and
- 1:19:12Speaker 8: get all those steps, all those moves right.
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: And Steve, this ain't Texas.
- 1:19:17Speaker 8: You can't hold of it.
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: That's how hard I'm willing not to go dance with
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: her head.
- 1:19:24Speaker 6: Right.
- 1:19:26Speaker 8: We'll close out of the show at forty nine minutes
- 1:19:27Speaker 8: after the hour with Steve Harvey, and it is our
- 1:19:30Speaker 8: last break of the day.
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: Right after this, you're.
- 1:19:32Speaker 8: Listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, guys, here we
- 1:19:36Speaker 8: are last break of the day on this Wednesday. It's
- 1:19:41Speaker 8: been a good day. Yes, yeah, don't forget that. Tonight
- 1:19:46Speaker 8: you can catch an all new episode of All Move Steve.
- 1:19:50Speaker 7: All new all new shows coming through. Yeah, Judge, keep rising,
- 1:19:56Speaker 7: keep shouting, keep rising, keep.
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: Knowing you can always count on me. Mm hmmm.
- 1:20:09Speaker 8: So it's on ABC ten, ninth Central, also streaming on Hulu.
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: Yeah, I have no idea what the episode is about tonight,
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: but it's new.
- 1:20:19Speaker 8: Are you enjoying doing the shows.
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: Like show is dope, The Judge Show is dope.
- 1:20:25Speaker 8: It's funny, it's fun Yeah, you can be yourself on
- 1:20:29Speaker 8: that show, close to who you are.
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: Yeah, you got a case and I don't give a damn.
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: Oh we know it. Yes, Well, Junior, what you got
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: on your mind at closing? Man?
- 1:20:46Speaker 9: Well, uncle, let me ask you this, unc man, It's like,
- 1:20:49Speaker 9: what makes you want to keep pressing forward?
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: Like being a mogul? Like you're a mogul. When did
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: you get the idea you want to be a mogul?
- 1:20:57Speaker 7: Well, right after I figured out poverty wouldn't work, you know,
- 1:21:01Speaker 7: once I once I had came to that conclusion about problem.
- 1:21:06Speaker 7: You know, you know what man like you have to understand.
- 1:21:09Speaker 7: I think it's a couple of things people should do.
- 1:21:12Speaker 7: Should You should decide on what you're willing to accept,
- 1:21:16Speaker 7: and you must decide on what you're willing not to accept,
- 1:21:21Speaker 7: accept and not accept. And then you have to come
- 1:21:25Speaker 7: up with what you're willing to do and what you
- 1:21:29Speaker 7: are committed to not do. And that clears some things up,
- 1:21:34Speaker 7: and so you know, my desire to be in business
- 1:21:37Speaker 7: and to attempt things was just to constantly have a
- 1:21:41Speaker 7: vision or a dream out in front of me, just
- 1:21:43Speaker 7: to follow the scripture that a man without a dream
- 1:21:45Speaker 7: of visions you'll perish. I don't care who you are,
- 1:21:48Speaker 7: you gotta be shooting for something. And I just offer
- 1:21:52Speaker 7: to people not to get discouraged when there's something that
- 1:21:55Speaker 7: you're shooting for is not unfolding at the pace you
- 1:21:58Speaker 7: wanted to unfold, because you have to remember that God's
- 1:22:01Speaker 7: timing and your timing is oftentimes completely different. That's been
- 1:22:06Speaker 7: the toughest lesson for me to learn in my life,
- 1:22:08Speaker 7: that God's timing is completely different from mine, because I
- 1:22:13Speaker 7: can't tell you how many times I've waited on something
- 1:22:16Speaker 7: and could not figure out what in the world was
- 1:22:19Speaker 7: taking the Lord?
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: So long?
- 1:22:22Speaker 7: Are you not listening to me? Did you not hear
- 1:22:25Speaker 7: what I said? I said in six weeks now we
- 1:22:31Speaker 7: had this six month mark, and you still ain't let
- 1:22:34Speaker 7: it happen for me. But delayed doesn't mean denied true true.
- 1:22:41Speaker 7: But a lot of times, man, when you ask God
- 1:22:44Speaker 7: for something, here's another thing I had to learn. He's
- 1:22:47Speaker 7: saying okay, I'm well give it to you. But he
- 1:22:48Speaker 7: got cleared some things out first, because he hears conversations
- 1:22:53Speaker 7: you didn't hear. He saw things you didn't see. And
- 1:22:57Speaker 7: so what he does is he does things on your
- 1:22:59Speaker 7: behalf to you on or nothing about. Have you ever
- 1:23:01Speaker 7: wondered why you didn't get something right when you wanted it,
- 1:23:04Speaker 7: but when you got it it was better. But if
- 1:23:09Speaker 7: you assess the situation, you'll oftentimes find out that the
- 1:23:13Speaker 7: circumstances surrounding the what you have is different. Like he
- 1:23:18Speaker 7: maybe removes somebody from your life. He had to reposition
- 1:23:22Speaker 7: you and your job. He tells a lot of things, man,
- 1:23:26Speaker 7: because you don't know what's all under the surface of
- 1:23:31Speaker 7: what you're asking for, because a lot of times what
- 1:23:33Speaker 7: you're asking for will affect other people. And he got
- 1:23:37Speaker 7: to make sure that you got the right people around
- 1:23:39Speaker 7: you position. So when he give you the blessed, ain't
- 1:23:42Speaker 7: nobody over there trying to smack it out your hand,
- 1:23:45Speaker 7: knock the plate out, empty your food, turn it over
- 1:23:49Speaker 7: and you don't know it. But there are people in
- 1:23:51Speaker 7: your life who are like that. You know, there's people
- 1:23:55Speaker 7: pulling in your life for you to a certain point
- 1:24:01Speaker 7: and after that, they're not pulling for you. There are
- 1:24:04Speaker 7: people pulling for you in your life, but only to
- 1:24:07Speaker 7: a certain point.
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: That's a whole word right there.
- 1:24:14Speaker 7: It's a it's such a shocking thing to discover. Now
- 1:24:18Speaker 7: are people in your life who are happy for you
- 1:24:20Speaker 7: as long as you stay within there. There they are
- 1:24:24Speaker 7: parameters of what happiness will be. You step outside of that.
- 1:24:27Speaker 7: Oh no oh no no no, no no oh, you're
- 1:24:30Speaker 7: getting too big for your breches or who you think
- 1:24:34Speaker 7: you are now, you know, so a lot of that happens.
- 1:24:37Speaker 7: But my motivation is always uh to try to be
- 1:24:42Speaker 7: better and to be and and and and then I'm
- 1:24:45Speaker 7: now more conscious of what I ask God for. Usually
- 1:24:49Speaker 7: what I'm asking God for usually entails to bring about
- 1:24:53Speaker 7: the benefit to help more people. So I'm constantly getting blessed.
- 1:24:59Speaker 7: I'm I'm constant getting blessed man, because my motivation has changed.
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: It ain't just about me.
- 1:25:07Speaker 7: My doing more and better usually provides jobs, gives an
- 1:25:12Speaker 7: opportunity trying to help some people. So I'm constantly getting blessed.
- 1:25:18Speaker 7: And that's in spite of what anybody says about you.
- 1:25:22Speaker 7: You know, your deal with God is your deal with God.
- 1:25:25Speaker 7: If God put his favor on you.
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: Man. It ain't nothing nobody can do about that. Amen.
- 1:25:31Speaker 7: They can hate on you, they can talk about you,
- 1:25:34Speaker 7: but they stop nothing. Once God put his favor on you, man,
- 1:25:40Speaker 7: you in a blessed position. Now that favor it don't
- 1:25:43Speaker 7: come with our challenges. That's a part of it. So
- 1:25:47Speaker 7: those are just some teared bits of things that I've
- 1:25:49Speaker 7: learned in my life over the years, and it just
- 1:25:52Speaker 7: keeps me motivated because and you know, look, man, God
- 1:25:57Speaker 7: is in a blessing business. I'm a recipient. But I
- 1:26:00Speaker 7: also understand that there's test that comes along with everything.
- 1:26:04Speaker 7: You can't get to the next level without taking some steps,
- 1:26:06Speaker 7: and them steps is usually tests. I'm okay with the
