- 1:45Speaker 3: Turn out the word of the mono. Look, come.
- 1:58Speaker 6: Come on, you'll think, uh huh, I sure will. Good
- 2:03Speaker 6: morning everybody, y'all listen to the voice. Come on, dig
- 2:07Speaker 6: me now, one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show.
- 2:11Speaker 6: Man o man o man grateful for it comes through
- 2:15Speaker 6: a huge amount of responsibility. I didn't really know I
- 2:18Speaker 6: was gonna have to be this responsible. You know, Can
- 2:22Speaker 6: I share something with y'all? I started out to Finally
- 2:26Speaker 6: I had gotten on track and was able to see
- 2:29Speaker 6: a way to even pursue my dream. It has been
- 2:34Speaker 6: a long, a long trip that I've been on, and
- 2:37Speaker 6: I've gone through so many phases of it. It is
- 2:41Speaker 6: rewarding along the way to accomplish your dreams. What I'm
- 2:45Speaker 6: saying is this, let me let me put it together,
- 2:48Speaker 6: because I got so much running through my head right now.
- 2:51Speaker 6: You know, it's one thing to accomplish your dreams, but
- 2:55Speaker 6: there's joy in the process of achieving it. See, some
- 3:01Speaker 6: people are so caught up in the goal, the final goal,
- 3:06Speaker 6: that they find no joy, no enjoyment in the process.
- 3:13Speaker 6: If you have found what it is you want to
- 3:17Speaker 6: do and you strike out on that journey, please understand
- 3:22Speaker 6: you are far more blessed than the average person.
- 3:26Speaker 2: To know what it is you really want to do.
- 3:29Speaker 6: To find your work in life, your purpose, to find
- 3:34Speaker 6: out what direction you want to go in is such
- 3:38Speaker 6: a blessing. The average person, if you sit down and
- 3:41Speaker 6: talk to them, oftentimes don't have their life on track.
- 3:46Speaker 6: And it'd be some people that you looking at you
- 3:48Speaker 6: think God it going on because of their appearance, their swagger.
- 3:52Speaker 2: Oh they walk like it, they talk like it, they
- 3:55Speaker 2: look like it.
- 3:55Speaker 6: But if you sit down and talk to the average person,
- 3:59Speaker 6: the average parson man does not know what their purpose is,
- 4:04Speaker 6: has not discovered what they want to do, and have
- 4:07Speaker 6: no idea how to get there. If you are on
- 4:10Speaker 6: the other side of that, if you understand your purpose,
- 4:15Speaker 6: if you have an idea of what you want to be,
- 4:17Speaker 6: and you are on your way there, you are truly
- 4:21Speaker 6: blessed and in that blessing. You must recognize it as
- 4:26Speaker 6: a blessing. You must recognize the fact that you are
- 4:31Speaker 6: on the right side, and that there should be a
- 4:34Speaker 6: sense of accomplishment and a feeling of pride in you
- 4:38Speaker 6: that you are on track to accomplish your goal. See
- 4:42Speaker 6: what used to happen was sometimes I used to keep
- 4:44Speaker 6: my nose so on the grindstone that I wouldn't.
- 4:49Speaker 2: Even look up and realize.
- 4:50Speaker 6: Man, hey, man, I know you're trying to get here,
- 4:54Speaker 6: but Steve, hold on, man, can't you see what you've
- 4:57Speaker 6: done so far? Can't you find just some joy in
- 5:00Speaker 6: the process. See, a lot of us lose the joy
- 5:04Speaker 6: of a blessings God has given us because we looking
- 5:07Speaker 6: at the end talking about I ain't there yet?
- 5:09Speaker 2: You on your way.
- 5:11Speaker 6: I'm gonna give you an example. I had a friend
- 5:14Speaker 6: who told me that they wanted to be a millionaire.
- 5:18Speaker 6: And they asked me some questions and I told them,
- 5:21Speaker 6: so they started the process, And I am telling you,
- 5:25Speaker 6: this dude works extremely hard. So about a year later
- 5:32Speaker 6: we were talking. He had found this business, he had
- 5:38Speaker 6: set his goal, and he was working towards it. Then
- 5:42Speaker 6: about two years later I ran up into him again.
- 5:45Speaker 6: We were talking about it and everything. He said, Man,
- 5:47Speaker 6: really really appreciate the advice. He said, Man, but this
- 5:51Speaker 6: is all jacked up, man, because I still ain't made
- 5:54Speaker 6: that million I was talking about. I said, well, hey, man,
- 5:58Speaker 6: just keep at its coming. He said, Man, keep at it.
- 6:01Speaker 2: Man.
- 6:02Speaker 6: You know how long I've been doing this? Been two
- 6:04Speaker 6: years now. And I didn't say that to him, but
- 6:07Speaker 6: I said to myself, yeah, two years. He said, Man,
- 6:10Speaker 6: I've been grinding so long. Man, Its just it ain't
- 6:12Speaker 6: happening for me. I said, wait a minute, man, holld on,
- 6:16Speaker 6: hold on. I said, about how much you making.
- 6:18Speaker 2: Right now a year?
- 6:20Speaker 6: Man?
- 6:20Speaker 2: About two hundred and fifty thousand.
- 6:24Speaker 6: I quit breathing. I said, well, my man, two years
- 6:29Speaker 6: ago you didn't have a clue. Two years later, you
- 6:34Speaker 6: making a quarter of a million dollars. I said, man,
- 6:38Speaker 6: do you understand how blessed you are? I said, ma'am,
- 6:41Speaker 6: your family was about to get put out. Two years
- 6:44Speaker 6: ago you done bought a house. Yeah, man, but this
- 6:48Speaker 6: ain't the house. I really won't. Oh, oh, partner, whoa
- 6:52Speaker 6: I got that? I got that the house you really
- 6:55Speaker 6: won't make Mike car fired eight million. I don't know,
- 6:58Speaker 6: but man, y'all got house, you making a payment, you
- 7:02Speaker 6: drive it. You ain't out no more. I said, old man,
- 7:04Speaker 6: you got to stop. I said, you got to stop.
- 7:06Speaker 6: I said, man, because right now, man, you you coming across.
- 7:08Speaker 6: That's real ungrateful to me. And so he said, man,
- 7:11Speaker 6: why are you tripping like that?
- 7:13Speaker 7: Man?
- 7:13Speaker 6: Man, you act like don't nobody want to have nothing
- 7:16Speaker 6: but you? I said, whoa man, where are you going
- 7:17Speaker 6: with this conversation? I said, Oh, I didn't come to you.
- 7:20Speaker 6: I just came to you and asked you how you doing.
- 7:22Speaker 6: And I'm trying to point out to you that the
- 7:25Speaker 6: journey that you started on, that you are on your way,
- 7:28Speaker 6: and you are in the process of accomplishing your goals.
- 7:31Speaker 6: And can you not feel some joy and some pleasure
- 7:34Speaker 6: in your accomplishment. Quit tripping on the fact that you
- 7:37Speaker 6: ain't made a million yet.
- 7:39Speaker 2: You on your way.
- 7:40Speaker 6: You done went from he dog. This dude was making
- 7:43Speaker 6: fifteen thousand dollars a year. You making quarter of a
- 7:44Speaker 6: million dollars in two years? Man, come on, man, can't
- 7:47Speaker 6: you see can't you see? So he said, eventually, ah, man,
- 7:52Speaker 6: I kind of see what you saying. But that ain't
- 7:54Speaker 6: about nothing to me because I ran up into him
- 7:57Speaker 6: a year and a half later. How you doing, man, Man,
- 8:02Speaker 6: I sure wish i'd appreciated my life when I had
- 8:05Speaker 6: it like that, I said, what you mean, had it
- 8:07Speaker 6: like that?
- 8:08Speaker 2: Man?
- 8:09Speaker 6: Just fell on some hard times? Man, right back where
- 8:12Speaker 6: I was. And then we talked. I said, hey, man,
- 8:15Speaker 6: don't worry about it. I said, Once you know how
- 8:17Speaker 6: to accomplish something, I said, you just reapply the same
- 8:19Speaker 6: principles and start on over again. Man, you know how
- 8:22Speaker 6: hard it is or be to start over? Okay, my man,
- 8:25Speaker 6: Hold up, pardoner, you've been do yourself like this again. First,
- 8:28Speaker 6: you wasn't grateful for what you had. Now you're looking
- 8:31Speaker 6: at the fact that you might have to start over,
- 8:33Speaker 6: and you know how hard it is to start over.
- 8:35Speaker 6: Maybe God said, okay, you ain't happy with this, Okay,
- 8:41Speaker 6: didn't handle it your way? You obviously ain't happy with
- 8:43Speaker 6: the way I'm bringing it into your life. You want
- 8:46Speaker 6: to handle it your way? Go ahead and handle it.
- 8:47Speaker 2: Because he will let you have it your way.
- 8:49Speaker 6: Can I tell you that he will let you do
- 8:52Speaker 6: it exactly the way you want to it because he
- 8:54Speaker 6: gives us all the power choice. So then maybe he said, okay,
- 8:58Speaker 6: you don't appreciate the way I'm doing it, like the
- 9:00Speaker 6: favor I'm showing you. You think it's taken too long,
- 9:03Speaker 6: I'm gonna let you do it your way. I'm not
- 9:04Speaker 6: gonna turn my back on you. I'm just gonna let
- 9:07Speaker 6: you do it your way.
- 9:08Speaker 2: Just just say.
- 9:09Speaker 6: Maybe he said that, and now he right back where
- 9:11Speaker 6: it was. So what I tried to get the young
- 9:14Speaker 6: cat to understand was, man, appreciate your life for what
- 9:18Speaker 6: it is. Because, like lif Jenny's got that song that
- 9:21Speaker 6: he got out off this album. Still, I still believe
- 9:25Speaker 6: it could have been worse. And now that it is worse.
- 9:28Speaker 6: What's on your mind now, folks, If you are on
- 9:32Speaker 6: that side of life where you have figured out what
- 9:34Speaker 6: you want to do, you know how you're gonna get that,
- 9:37Speaker 6: and you know your purpose. You're accomplishing what the majority
- 9:40Speaker 6: of people never ever do. So be grateful for your process.
- 9:43Speaker 6: Don't tumble yourself, don't throw yourself off the cliff. It's
- 9:47Speaker 6: gonna be all right. Success takes a.
- 9:50Speaker 2: Measure of time. It is not easy. If success were easy,
- 9:54Speaker 2: everybody would be successful.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening.

- 21:06Speaker 10: This one is from Harold and Newark, New Jersey. Harold writes,
- 21:10Speaker 10: I'm a thirty nine year old divorced man dating a
- 21:12Speaker 10: thirty three year old single mother. We started being intimate
- 21:16Speaker 10: recently and it's the best I've had in a long time.
- 21:20Speaker 8: The only problem is.
- 21:22Speaker 10: The only problem I have is her six year old
- 21:24Speaker 10: son that she brings on all of our dates. Now,
- 21:28Speaker 10: I like her son and I don't mind him tagging
- 21:30Speaker 10: along at times, but not always. I have offered to
- 21:33Speaker 10: pay for a sitter, but she doesn't trust anyone because
- 21:36Speaker 10: of COVID. We have offered to we have to sneak
- 21:39Speaker 10: around the house to have sex because her child has
- 21:42Speaker 10: no boundaries. It's been a year, so.
- 21:44Speaker 5: Can I set the boundaries?
- 21:48Speaker 2: Well, you're going to have to talk to her about it.
- 21:50Speaker 6: I think you're going to have to bring up the
- 21:52Speaker 6: subject about it that you know, because now one thing
- 21:56Speaker 6: about it?
- 21:56Speaker 2: Did children come with the women?
- 21:59Speaker 6: So they ain't no, you know, And I appreciate you
- 22:02Speaker 6: offering for a babysitter, but because of COVID, she.
- 22:04Speaker 2: Don't want to do it.
- 22:06Speaker 6: So understandable, understandable, But you're gonna have to bring up
- 22:11Speaker 6: the subject, and y'all gonna have to find something to
- 22:13Speaker 6: work through this.
- 22:14Speaker 2: I don't know if she has a relatives she trust
- 22:17Speaker 2: or something like this.
- 22:18Speaker 6: All what you can do is you can order rapid
- 22:21Speaker 6: COVID tests now, and you can test your babysitter or
- 22:26Speaker 6: your loved one and leave them with the child. You
- 22:28Speaker 6: got to do something because you can't. The relationship won't
- 22:32Speaker 6: flourish without private time.
- 22:37Speaker 2: Hard to build it.
- 22:38Speaker 8: Well, women you were dating with kids brought their kids.
- 22:40Speaker 6: Brought everything has happened to me. So how do I
- 22:46Speaker 6: want to talk about it? Is because we'll be faced
- 22:49Speaker 6: with I had so much ago in my regged ass.
- 22:55Speaker 6: That's why I don't think I'll ever tell the real
- 22:57Speaker 6: Steve Harvey story. I'm just I just leave mine on sit.
- 23:01Speaker 6: Everybody don't need a bowel pic and I just think
- 23:06Speaker 6: I'm just one of them. People need to just let
- 23:08Speaker 6: it go over.
- 23:11Speaker 8: Came out with one.
- 23:12Speaker 6: Now I'm gonna have to cause it's gonna be carty
- 23:14Speaker 6: because I'm gonna have to lead all time. I'm gonna
- 23:16Speaker 6: have to lead too much stuff out, man, and then
- 23:20Speaker 6: I'm old, Yeah, and then I'm old. So you know,
- 23:23Speaker 6: you can't like, you know, my medical records at for
- 23:26Speaker 6: a city got burned down when the hotel got burned
- 23:29Speaker 6: down with no damn computers.
- 23:31Speaker 2: Oh man, so anything for fifteen I ain't even here
- 23:36Speaker 2: what happened? Also? All right, yeah, all my medical records
- 23:41Speaker 2: is go. They can't find dental charge nothing.
- 23:45Speaker 5: We're moving on.
- 23:46Speaker 10: Coleman in Peoria, Illinois says I'm a happily married man
- 23:50Speaker 10: and I continue to work Monday through Thursday. One of
- 23:53Speaker 10: my wife's closest friends is my coworker, and she's working
- 23:57Speaker 10: the same hours and days as I do.
- 23:59Speaker 6: Now.
- 24:00Speaker 10: We talked about carpooling and alternating weeks when we would
- 24:03Speaker 10: drive and talk to my wife about it, and she
- 24:05Speaker 10: forbid me to do it. She said her friend should
- 24:09Speaker 10: have come to her and asked for permission. It has
- 24:12Speaker 10: created friction in their friendship, and I don't understand what
- 24:15Speaker 10: my wife's problem is.
- 24:16Speaker 8: What's wrong with sharing our ride to work?
- 24:19Speaker 3: Boy?
- 24:20Speaker 2: Are you stupid?
- 24:22Speaker 3: Sir?
- 24:23Speaker 6: Sir, you've formed a friendship with your wife's closest friend.
- 24:31Speaker 6: Y'all is set up and contrived. Y'all gonna start riding
- 24:36Speaker 6: to work together. We know what you're doing, though, but
- 24:39Speaker 6: ain't nobody come to the wife. We know your girlfriend
- 24:44Speaker 6: should have came. Her girlfriend should have came and said
- 24:48Speaker 6: something to it. Now it's creating friction between now and
- 24:51Speaker 6: why you think that is.
- 24:52Speaker 8: Though he has no idea what his wife's problem is.
- 24:57Speaker 6: That's so dog, So dog, let me ask you a question.
- 25:00Speaker 6: You and your wife and your best free and work together.
- 25:04Speaker 6: Then your wife come home and go. Hey, me and
- 25:09Speaker 6: Harold go start riding and work together. Oh okay, so
- 25:14Speaker 6: we know what you.
- 25:19Speaker 2: Harold.
- 25:20Speaker 8: Yeah, see how you like that?
- 25:22Speaker 2: Yeah? That's all you got to do?
- 25:24Speaker 1: Bro, all right, sure, all right.
- 25:26Speaker 10: Candy and Memphis says, my son's father got married in January,
- 25:30Speaker 10: but we still mess around whenever he's had too much
- 25:33Speaker 10: to drink.
- 25:33Speaker 8: I like to think he still has feelings for me,
- 25:36Speaker 8: but I know it's the vodka.
- 25:39Speaker 10: What bothers me is that my son has seen him
- 25:41Speaker 10: in my bed overnight, and it could be confusing for him.
- 25:45Speaker 10: He has not met his daddy's wife yet, so he's
- 25:47Speaker 10: only seen me with his daddy. He's four years old,
- 25:50Speaker 10: and he's going to be confused by all of this.
- 25:53Speaker 10: Is it his daddy's job to explain to our son
- 25:55Speaker 10: why he's still sleeping over at our house or mine?
- 26:00Speaker 9: Don't.
- 26:00Speaker 6: I don't see how this is a problem that you
- 26:02Speaker 6: would write me and surely about I really, I don't
- 26:06Speaker 6: really give a damn I really done. You know. See, seriously, sisters,
- 26:11Speaker 6: you want to think that he still has feelings for you,
- 26:15Speaker 6: but you know it's only when he been drinking.
- 26:19Speaker 2: Let's not blame the alcohol for every damn thing.
- 26:23Speaker 6: Maybe he's still seeing you because you want him to
- 26:28Speaker 6: see you and you let him sleep with you. What
- 26:31Speaker 6: difference do it make? Who explain it to the four
- 26:34Speaker 6: yeo when both y'all dead?
- 26:37Speaker 2: Wrong?
- 26:39Speaker 6: So what is the conversation gonna be about? Because the
- 26:42Speaker 6: four year old ain't met his new wife yet? And
- 26:46Speaker 6: you know that little that little, that little boy gonna
- 26:48Speaker 6: say something one time when he do it, you ain't.
- 26:50Speaker 8: My mama, And it is confusing for the four year old.
- 26:53Speaker 6: Yeah, you're damn right, and it's gonna be so confusion
- 26:56Speaker 6: that he gonna see clarity from everybody involved.
- 27:00Speaker 2: You, the husband and a new wife.
- 27:03Speaker 6: And you know this. So stop playing this game because
- 27:08Speaker 6: you know what you're doing, right, that's right. You want
- 27:11Speaker 6: him to be confused, hell cause you confused. Yeah, it's
- 27:15Speaker 6: confusing to us, we will tell you and we couldn't grown.
- 27:22Speaker 8: Yeah, all right.
- 27:25Speaker 10: Sean in Los Angeles says, I'm forty years old and
- 27:29Speaker 10: my wife and I.
- 27:29Speaker 8: Have been married for three years. She's forty two.
- 27:32Speaker 10: She has two children from her second marriage, and I
- 27:34Speaker 10: have one son from my first marriage. I recently met
- 27:37Speaker 10: her first husband. He wished me luck because he said
- 27:40Speaker 10: I married a cheater. He said they were married four
- 27:42Speaker 10: months she cheated, so he divorced her. I have no
- 27:45Speaker 10: way of knowing if he's a liar or if this
- 27:47Speaker 10: is true. Should I ask her about.
- 27:49Speaker 2: It or let it go?
- 27:51Speaker 6: What kind of conversation you have is with her ex
- 27:55Speaker 6: about your current No, he's shady and you shaddy. I

- 52:04Speaker 10: Shirley I have been sad for a while now, and
- 52:07Speaker 10: I'm seeking advice on how to move past this situation.
- 52:10Speaker 10: I have been in a relationship for six years with
- 52:13Speaker 10: a married man that was loving and attentive and treated
- 52:17Speaker 10: me like a priority at all times. We live about
- 52:21Speaker 10: an hour away from each other, and he would make
- 52:23Speaker 10: a point to see me weekly and take me on
- 52:26Speaker 10: business trips with him and weekend outings whenever he could.
- 52:30Speaker 10: He always told me that he was in a marriage
- 52:32Speaker 10: of convenience and was waiting till his children grew up
- 52:35Speaker 10: to leave his wife. I overlooked the fact that his
- 52:38Speaker 10: youngest child was twenty and he was still married because
- 52:41Speaker 10: I loved him and the relationship worked well. Tragedy struck
- 52:45Speaker 10: recently and he was diagnosed with the terminal illness. I
- 52:49Speaker 10: kept in touch with him through his coworker while he
- 52:52Speaker 10: was in the hospital. While he was recovering at home,
- 52:56Speaker 10: I snuck over to his home to visit while his
- 52:58Speaker 10: wife was out. Me in and that's when I realized
- 53:02Speaker 10: that he never planned to leave his wife. His wife
- 53:04Speaker 10: came home as I pulled away from the house. He
- 53:07Speaker 10: called me and said he told his wife that I
- 53:10Speaker 10: was an old friend that was just checking on him.
- 53:13Speaker 10: He said she believed it well. He died a few
- 53:17Speaker 10: days later and I got.
- 53:18Speaker 5: A strange phone call.
- 53:20Speaker 10: His wife had called me to let me know he died,
- 53:23Speaker 10: and she told me that she's known about me for years.
- 53:26Speaker 10: She told me that I was not welcome at his
- 53:29Speaker 10: funeral and that I should not cause her any embarrassment.
- 53:33Speaker 10: I felt bad for having an affair, for having the
- 53:36Speaker 10: affair all of those years, but I wanted to say
- 53:38Speaker 10: goodbye to my man. I showed up at the graveside
- 53:42Speaker 10: service and his coworker asked me to leave. I just
- 53:45Speaker 10: wanted to say goodbye.
- 53:46Speaker 5: What's wrong with that?
- 53:49Speaker 8: What's wrong with that?
- 53:52Speaker 1: What's wrong with that? You ask everything, everything you.
- 53:57Speaker 10: Can think of, and it's all laid out here in
- 53:59Speaker 10: the letter, starting with the fact that you were cheating
- 54:03Speaker 10: with not your man. This man was someone else's. Okay,
- 54:07Speaker 10: he had a wife for the past six years. You
- 54:11Speaker 10: don't get any special treatment or anything. No one is
- 54:16Speaker 10: going to be on your side, no one, Okay, sorry,
- 54:20Speaker 10: but that's just how life is. He's not here to
- 54:22Speaker 10: protect you now, to lie to his wife and say
- 54:25Speaker 10: you were just a friend stopping by to check on him,
- 54:27Speaker 10: or anything like that you were in this woman's home.
- 54:30Speaker 8: Okay. So now the wife is in charge, okay, and
- 54:34Speaker 8: she's not having any of it.
- 54:36Speaker 10: If she told you out of her mouth that she's
- 54:39Speaker 10: known about you for years and she doesn't want you there, well,
- 54:42Speaker 10: that's called payback.
- 54:44Speaker 8: Okay, that's called revenge. Finally she's gotten it. It's called
- 54:47Speaker 8: the queen has spoken and you are out.
- 54:51Speaker 1: Okay.
- 54:51Speaker 10: You should have respected her wishes and not crashed the
- 54:55Speaker 10: burial service. You shouldn't have done that. I think you're
- 54:58Speaker 10: being very selfish in this situation. And I'll say it again, disrespectful.
- 55:04Speaker 1: This is not about you.
- 55:06Speaker 3: What about that?
- 55:07Speaker 8: Don't you get leave this man's family alone?
- 55:10Speaker 1: Now?
- 55:10Speaker 8: Okay, what you guys had for six years is over.
- 55:14Speaker 5: You gotta let it go.
- 55:15Speaker 8: Don't bring any more pain and misery to this family,
- 55:18Speaker 8: to this woman, to the wife.
- 55:20Speaker 3: Let it go.
- 55:20Speaker 5: He's gone.
- 55:21Speaker 8: You need to move on, okay. Ask God to forgive
- 55:24Speaker 8: you he will.
- 55:25Speaker 10: And just try to make sure the next time you
- 55:27Speaker 10: date someone that he's not married, he's single.
- 55:31Speaker 2: Okay, Steve, I don't know why we're talking about this.
- 55:36Speaker 2: What's wrong with you? Lady? For real?
- 55:38Speaker 10: What? What?
- 55:39Speaker 6: What?
- 55:39Speaker 9: What?

- 56:02Speaker 6: You were having a relationship with this married man for
- 56:05Speaker 6: six years that was loving and attentive and treated me
- 56:11Speaker 6: like a priority at all time. Keyword treated you like
- 56:16Speaker 6: a priority. That don't mean you was a priority. He

- 1:17:26Speaker 1: we gotta go. Time for our last break of the day.
- 1:17:29Speaker 10: And at forty nine minutes after some closing remarks from
- 1:17:32Speaker 10: the one and only Steve Harvey, right after this, you're listening.
- 1:17:36Speaker 5: Morning show.
- 1:17:37Speaker 10: All right, here we are our last break of the day. Wow,
- 1:17:41Speaker 10: it's been a good day, a fun day, and Steve,
- 1:17:45Speaker 10: you can take it away.
- 1:17:47Speaker 2: Here it is.
- 1:17:47Speaker 6: You know, I was thinking and something that's helped me
- 1:17:52Speaker 6: in my lifetime. It was a difficult lesson to learn
- 1:17:55Speaker 6: for me, but I finally got it together years ago.
- 1:18:00Speaker 2: But it took me some time.
- 1:18:02Speaker 6: I must admit I spent all of my twenties and
- 1:18:05Speaker 6: thirties not understanding this, and even a little bit now,
- 1:18:12Speaker 6: just mostly twenties and thirties. So I'm gonna share it
- 1:18:15Speaker 6: with you, and I want you to understand that I'm saying.
- 1:18:19Speaker 6: I'm saying all this in love. You can't share everything
- 1:18:27Speaker 6: with everybody.
- 1:18:31Speaker 9: You know.
- 1:18:31Speaker 6: That really seems so simple, But I can't tell you
- 1:18:35Speaker 6: how many times you inadvertently damage yourself, your opportunity, and
- 1:18:41Speaker 6: your journey by not understanding this real simple rule. You
- 1:18:46Speaker 6: cannot You cannot share everything with everybody, can't. You can't
- 1:18:53Speaker 6: share your visions with everybody because they don't really care.
- 1:19:00Speaker 6: Then everybody's not genuinely interested in your career, goals, your visions,
- 1:19:07Speaker 6: your hopes for tomorrow. A lot of people you share
- 1:19:12Speaker 6: stuff with don't even understand the thing that you're telling
- 1:19:16Speaker 6: is in your imagination. They don't even get it. And
- 1:19:20Speaker 6: I understand they don't get what's in your imagination because
- 1:19:23Speaker 6: it's something they could never ever possibly imagine. And basically,
- 1:19:30Speaker 6: the number one reason you can't share everything with everybody
- 1:19:33Speaker 6: is just real simple. Most people don't care, you know,
- 1:19:38Speaker 6: They'll just sit up and listen to you and look
- 1:19:40Speaker 6: just as concerned as soon as you walk away. Don't
- 1:19:44Speaker 6: give you the idea, the thought you had another moment
- 1:19:48Speaker 6: of consideration. They don't care. But do you understand something
- 1:19:54Speaker 6: they don't have to. It's perfectly okay that they don't
- 1:19:59Speaker 6: see your vision share your vision. That it's okay that
- 1:20:02Speaker 6: they're not genuinely interested. It's okay that they don't understand
- 1:20:05Speaker 6: what's coming out of your imagination. It's perfectly fine that
- 1:20:08Speaker 6: they don't care, because there is really no one else
- 1:20:14Speaker 6: more critical to your journey or your success than God.
- 1:20:19Speaker 2: Nobody.
- 1:20:20Speaker 6: There is no one living that's more critical to your
- 1:20:24Speaker 6: journey or your success than God. Period Now, if you're
- 1:20:28Speaker 6: blessed and you got a supportive spouse jackpot, that's bonus.
- 1:20:34Speaker 6: Or you found someone in your life that's your ride
- 1:20:37Speaker 6: or die, that's bonus. Or you got one of your
- 1:20:40Speaker 6: friends that's with you through thick and thin and it's
- 1:20:44Speaker 6: hard to find them but they exist, then that's a bonus.
- 1:20:49Speaker 6: The rest of the people really listen to me, they
- 1:20:52Speaker 6: don't matter. They don't matter because they don't matter. It
- 1:21:00Speaker 6: doesn't matter what they think, say, feel, or give you
- 1:21:04Speaker 6: back because it's irrelevant, non important, significant to your journey
- 1:21:10Speaker 6: or your success. You've got to get this through your
- 1:21:13Speaker 6: head because I spent too much time sharing everything with everybody,
- 1:21:20Speaker 6: thinking I was sharing it in hopes that they might
- 1:21:22Speaker 6: have a piece of information from me. The majority of
- 1:21:25Speaker 6: people I shared it with didn't have nothing from me.
- 1:21:28Speaker 6: I wasted time sitting up there, and then I'll tell
- 1:21:30Speaker 6: you something else that happened. You can tell your big
- 1:21:34Speaker 6: dreams to small minded people if you want to. And
- 1:21:39Speaker 6: now you've given one of the devil's imps the information
- 1:21:42Speaker 6: that he needs to provide obstruction. That's a sad thing, man,
- 1:21:50Speaker 6: But I want you all to be aware because sometimes
- 1:21:54Speaker 6: we seek the wrong people's approval and you end up
- 1:22:00Speaker 6: wasting time. Why does it matter to you what they
- 1:22:05Speaker 6: think of you when they don't even care about you?
- 1:22:09Speaker 6: What does it matter what they think of you and
- 1:22:12Speaker 6: they don't even know you?
- 1:22:14Speaker 9: Do?
- 1:22:14Speaker 10: You know?
- 1:22:15Speaker 2: Some people post stuff.
- 1:22:16Speaker 6: On social media and be just as happy with they picture,
- 1:22:20Speaker 6: they little caption, and you put it online and you're
- 1:22:23Speaker 6: just saying, man, I'm having a great day off. Man,
- 1:22:26Speaker 6: I just want to show y'all something that God has
- 1:22:29Speaker 6: blessed me to share with you all. And if you
- 1:22:32Speaker 6: mess around and read your comments, here comes somebody on
- 1:22:36Speaker 6: your comment page that then took your perfectly well intentioned
- 1:22:42Speaker 6: caption and your picture that you meant no harm to
- 1:22:45Speaker 6: anybody posted, and here they come with a bunch of negativity,
- 1:22:52Speaker 6: And now all of a sudden, your day is off
- 1:22:56Speaker 6: course because somebody says something about you that don't.
- 1:23:01Speaker 2: Even know you.
- 1:23:05Speaker 6: People's opinion of you is none of your business, nor
- 1:23:11Speaker 6: should you make it yours. That negative comment that they
- 1:23:16Speaker 6: put on your timeline in your comment section. If you
- 1:23:21Speaker 6: had never read that, do you know you would have
- 1:23:24Speaker 6: went right on about your Mary Day? Do you know
- 1:23:27Speaker 6: that that blessing you posted would have still been your blessing?
- 1:23:31Speaker 6: Do you know the intent that you posted it with
- 1:23:34Speaker 6: all goodwill to share something with somebody, to put a
- 1:23:36Speaker 6: positive spein on they day? It would have still been there.
- 1:23:40Speaker 6: But oh no, no, no, no, you allowed somebody to
- 1:23:44Speaker 6: matter who don't even matter. Stop telling everybody everything because
- 1:23:50Speaker 6: everybody don't care. Get that through your head. I don't
- 1:23:55Speaker 6: care how fine you are. Somebody don't like you, and
- 1:24:01Speaker 6: it's okay. And those closing walks are dedicated to the
- 1:24:05Speaker 6: girl who turned me down after junior part.
- 1:24:17Speaker 2: Yeah, I have a great day.
