- 0:50Speaker 3: Yeah, joy, you.
- 1:06Speaker 4: Love.
- 1:06Speaker 5: You gotta turn.
- 1:41Speaker 3: To turn the mouth turn you probably got to turn
- 1:44Speaker 3: mouth the word of the mony jump look me come
- 1:58Speaker 3: come on, you think that?
- 2:01Speaker 6: Uh huh, I sure will. Good morning everybody. You're listening
- 2:06Speaker 6: to the voice, Come on dig me now for that.
- 2:09Speaker 6: Only Steve Harvey got a radio show man instead of
- 2:13Speaker 6: trying to be about the business. To y'all, I'm doing
- 2:18Speaker 6: all I can. But you know what's crazy in the
- 2:22Speaker 6: efforts that I make. I can do more. And my
- 2:27Speaker 6: father used to tell me something when I was growing up.
- 2:29Speaker 6: He says, son, when you've done your best, and you've
- 2:35Speaker 6: done all you can, sit still for a second and
- 2:41Speaker 6: just do a little bit more. Always remember that, he said.
- 2:45Speaker 6: When you've done the best you can and you can
- 2:47Speaker 6: done all you can think of, he say, sit still
- 2:50Speaker 6: for a minute and do some more. And you know
- 2:53Speaker 6: what I've discovered in my life, always have a little more.
- 2:57Speaker 6: I ain't ever just out out out completely. I can't
- 3:01Speaker 6: take another step. There ain't another breath in me. The
- 3:04Speaker 6: ain't another thought I can produce. I'm never completely out, man.
- 3:09Speaker 6: Just take a rest for a minute, man, and then
- 3:13Speaker 6: just do a little bit more. And I can't tell
- 3:17Speaker 6: you how many times that's helped me get over the top.
- 3:21Speaker 6: You know, I was watching a documentary about people climbing
- 3:24Speaker 6: on Mount Everest and how difficult climbing Mount Everest was,
- 3:28Speaker 6: and how they have on the hill something called like
- 3:32Speaker 6: a death zone or a killing zone, where the majority
- 3:35Speaker 6: of people run out of oxygen and they have to
- 3:38Speaker 6: turn back. Well, what's crazy is it's right in view
- 3:43Speaker 6: of the summit. You can actually see the top of
- 3:47Speaker 6: Mount Everest from there, but it's that little bit that's
- 3:52Speaker 6: left that's just most difficult. Now, I forgot all the
- 3:55Speaker 6: reasons why they said most people don't make it from there,
- 3:57Speaker 6: and more people have lost their lives in that area.
- 4:01Speaker 6: I don't know what it is, but the people that
- 4:04Speaker 6: make it to the top of Mount efforts. They all
- 4:08Speaker 6: had to go through that same zone of that same area,
- 4:12Speaker 6: but they had a little bit more that allowed them
- 4:16Speaker 6: to get to the top. You know, a lot of
- 4:19Speaker 6: people have had accidents up there trying that. So I'm
- 4:21Speaker 6: not even really sure if Mount Everest analogy is a
- 4:25Speaker 6: good one. But let's just break it down a little
- 4:28Speaker 6: bit more. Let's just talk about life. There's a poem
- 4:32Speaker 6: I learned back when I host pledging. It's called don't Quit.
- 4:37Speaker 6: It goes like this, If I make a mistake, I'm
- 4:39Speaker 6: just trying to drum it up, So here we go.
- 4:42Speaker 6: It says, when things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
- 4:45Speaker 6: when the roads you're trudging seems all uphill, when your
- 4:49Speaker 6: funds are low and your debts are high, when you
- 4:53Speaker 6: want to smile, but you have to side when cares
- 4:57Speaker 6: are pressing you down a bit if you must, But
- 5:01Speaker 6: don't quit, for life is queer with his twisting turns,
- 5:06Speaker 6: as every one of us must sometimes learn. And many
- 5:09Speaker 6: a fellow has turned about when he might have won
- 5:13Speaker 6: had he stuck it out. So don't give up. Though
- 5:17Speaker 6: the pace seems slow, you may succeed with another blow.
- 5:22Speaker 6: Often the gold is nearer than it seems to a
- 5:26Speaker 6: faint and a faltering man. And often the struggler has
- 5:31Speaker 6: given up when he might have captured the victor's cup,
- 5:35Speaker 6: and he learns too late, when the night came down,
- 5:39Speaker 6: how close he was to the golden crown. Success is
- 5:44Speaker 6: failure turned inside out. It's your silver tin of your
- 5:49Speaker 6: clouds of doubt, and you never can tell how close
- 5:53Speaker 6: you are. It may be neil when it seems afar.
- 5:58Speaker 6: So stick to the fight when your hardest hits, when
- 6:02Speaker 6: things seem worse, that you mustn't quit. I remember it
- 6:07Speaker 6: because I had a special method of helping you remember
- 6:10Speaker 6: stuff back then. But I remembered it, and that poem
- 6:13Speaker 6: right there has kept me. You know, we often talk
- 6:17Speaker 6: about scripture and everything, and I don't see how I
- 6:20Speaker 6: could live without it. But every now and then, man,
- 6:23Speaker 6: somebody has a writing. God puts a writing on somebody's
- 6:26Speaker 6: heart that delivers a message man, that can help people.
- 6:29Speaker 6: I use every motivational tool that I possibly can to
- 6:33Speaker 6: climb this letter of success or try to be the
- 6:35Speaker 6: best father and the best husband I can be. I've
- 6:38Speaker 6: done a lot of changing over the years, and so
- 6:40Speaker 6: have you. But change is necessary in order to grow.
- 6:44Speaker 6: If you don't make changes, folks, you can't grow. I
- 6:47Speaker 6: was a young man on my set. I kept looking
- 6:50Speaker 6: at him, Man, a sharp little young dude just on
- 6:52Speaker 6: my set, and he had these dreads, and I mean
- 6:57Speaker 6: they were super man. They will well below the middle
- 7:02Speaker 6: of his back. I mean, it was just long. And
- 7:05Speaker 6: he kept talking to me, and he kept talking to
- 7:07Speaker 6: me and talking to me. So young man kept talking
- 7:09Speaker 6: to me, and I said, hey, man, you know you
- 7:11Speaker 6: do your a huge self a favor in the business
- 7:14Speaker 6: you're in. If you got a haircut, you would do
- 7:16Speaker 6: yourself a huge favor. I said, your image is everything. Man,
- 7:20Speaker 6: I said, you keep stopping me in the hallway to
- 7:22Speaker 6: try to tell me what you're doing, what you are,
- 7:24Speaker 6: but all I see is your hair. Now, I keep
- 7:26Speaker 6: trying to figure out what you're doing with all that hair. Man,
- 7:29Speaker 6: Now you can feel how you want to feel. But
- 7:31Speaker 6: I'm like an employer. I employed people. So when I'm
- 7:36Speaker 6: walking through the hallway and I try to think of
- 7:38Speaker 6: you traveling with me and you sitting in a meeting
- 7:41Speaker 6: with me, I try to imagine you and your suits
- 7:43Speaker 6: sitting there talking business with me. And so, just like
- 7:46Speaker 6: other employers are, I'm just having a real story with you.
- 7:50Speaker 6: So I said, man, you ought to consider cutting your hair.
- 7:53Speaker 6: He said, Man, mister Harve, I've been growing his hair
- 7:56Speaker 6: soide as a little boy. I said, how old are
- 7:58Speaker 6: you now? He said twenty eight? I said, well, how
- 8:01Speaker 6: long you want to hang on to what you was
- 8:03Speaker 6: when you was a little boy. You know, if you
- 8:05Speaker 6: started growing your hair when you're a teenager. I mean,
- 8:08Speaker 6: you're twenty eight now. And I said, so let me
- 8:11Speaker 6: help you understand something. Let me let me ask you something.
- 8:13Speaker 6: What does it do for you? He said, Man, it's
- 8:16Speaker 6: just who I am. It's I said, so you your hair?
- 8:21Speaker 6: He said, no, no, but it's a part of me.
- 8:24Speaker 6: I said, that part of you that you're hanging on to.
- 8:27Speaker 6: What does it do for you? I just like it? Well, dog,
- 8:32Speaker 6: I like ice cream, but I feed that. But if
- 8:34Speaker 6: I hang on the ice cream and eat ice cream
- 8:36Speaker 6: every single day, my body gonna reflect that. What is
- 8:40Speaker 6: it that you hanging on to that you don't want
- 8:43Speaker 6: to let go of? That's prohibiting you from being what
- 8:46Speaker 6: all you can be? See, it's hard to be what
- 8:48Speaker 6: all you can be if you want to keep being
- 8:51Speaker 6: all you was? Don't that make sense to you? So
- 8:55Speaker 6: I can't tell you how many times I've had to change.
- 8:59Speaker 6: Change is necessary to grow. You can't be all you
- 9:04Speaker 6: can be if you want to keep hanging on to
- 9:07Speaker 6: all you was. That don't make no sense. How do
- 9:12Speaker 6: you go forward? If you keep going backwards. You can't
- 9:16Speaker 6: stay here and go there. Do you understand that if
- 9:21Speaker 6: you want to go over there, you must remove yourself
- 9:24Speaker 6: from right here?
- 9:27Speaker 7: Oh?
- 9:27Speaker 6: I got right here is comfortable. I got right here
- 9:30Speaker 6: is safe. But over there's where the shade is. Over
- 9:34Speaker 6: There's where the fruit is. Over there is where the
- 9:38Speaker 6: opportunity is. Over there is where the mountain of goal is.
- 9:43Speaker 6: So why you stuck on here? You got to leave
- 9:47Speaker 6: here to go over there. You can't be all you
- 9:50Speaker 6: can be if you want to stay stuck on who
- 9:52Speaker 6: you was. Change is growth is necessary. All let's go.
- 9:56Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show, Ladies.
- 10:03Speaker 6: And gentlemin You know what. Another day, another president of
- 10:07Speaker 6: another gift, another opportunity to another shot who I've been
- 10:10Speaker 6: up all night, didn't get no sleep last night. But
- 10:15Speaker 6: it was good. Though it was good. I spent a
- 10:17Speaker 6: lot of time talking to God after I woke up,
- 10:20Speaker 6: and they had some conversations and some revelations and some
- 10:23Speaker 6: gratitude and got some direction and everything, so it was
- 10:27Speaker 6: worth it. Sometimes you get awakened and you gotta realize
- 10:30Speaker 6: what it is. One of his angels could be talking
- 10:33Speaker 6: to you. I don't know what that is him. I
- 10:36Speaker 6: just I just know what it is. But that'start I
- 10:38Speaker 6: shared Richie, So it's all good, Seve, Harv mona show show,
- 10:42Speaker 6: the Strawberry Collin frailm Mississippi Monica Junior and the Legend
- 10:45Speaker 6: of Nephew Tommy Junior, Junior, Junior Junior. Today is different?
- 10:51Speaker 6: What's going on? Yeah, uncle, let me talk to you. Man.
- 10:54Speaker 8: I heard something immediate thought about you, man, and they said,
- 10:58Speaker 8: the more people don't like you, the more.
- 11:01Speaker 1: Of a show you put on.
- 11:03Speaker 8: If that ain't you, Steve, the more people don't you
- 11:06Speaker 8: putting on a show? Thought on a full fledged show clowning.
- 11:12Speaker 6: Is it anything you.
- 11:14Speaker 8: Would like to say to the people that don't like you?
- 11:17Speaker 6: Yeah, continue as you may feel how you want to feel.
- 11:24Speaker 6: I'm fine, you don't know me. I'd also like to
- 11:29Speaker 6: say thank you. Haters make you greater. Thank you, and
- 11:35Speaker 6: also shows that I'm on track because they're not gonna
- 11:40Speaker 6: hate you unless you're doing something. But also even with that, Junior,
- 11:44Speaker 6: even with that, you know the good part about it is,
- 11:47Speaker 6: like I always say, hate is louder than love, but
- 11:51Speaker 6: love is stronger. To tell you the truth, man, I
- 11:56Speaker 6: got way more love out there way more. I mean,
- 11:59Speaker 6: it trumps that hate in droves. It's just quiet. It's
- 12:04Speaker 6: just hate is loud, that's all. So I don't even
- 12:07Speaker 6: pay no attention to them. I'm more focused now on
- 12:10Speaker 6: the people who wish me well, the people that's praying
- 12:12Speaker 6: for me, the people that's pulling for me, and I'm
- 12:15Speaker 6: pulling for them and praying for them. I'm focused more
- 12:18Speaker 6: on that. I stop focusing on the haters, man, because
- 12:21Speaker 6: it's they just it's a waste of time because no
- 12:25Speaker 6: matter what they say. Man, God got a plan for me,
- 12:29Speaker 6: and nothing you can do can stop his playing from
- 12:31Speaker 6: manifesting hisself. So I'm like really comfortable now. You know.
- 12:36Speaker 6: He used to bother me to be honest, but you know,
- 12:39Speaker 6: I don't care nothing about haters, man. They doing their job.
- 12:43Speaker 6: They hate a full time job.
- 12:52Speaker 1: Already.
- 12:53Speaker 7: Haters don't even get along with other haters. Man, they
- 12:55Speaker 7: can't even come together. And here's a good one.
- 13:02Speaker 6: Have you ever had a hater that was doing better
- 13:04Speaker 6: than you? Look?
- 13:07Speaker 9: Oh?
- 13:08Speaker 1: Man?
- 13:10Speaker 6: So yeah, just go ahead, man, enjoy yourself, knock yourself out,
- 13:16Speaker 6: do you and when you show back up with some
- 13:20Speaker 6: more hate. If you look at them, they're in the
- 13:23Speaker 6: same place they was in before. Heloe. All right, keep
- 13:32Speaker 6: driving that hate car.
- 13:36Speaker 1: All right, thank you guys.
- 13:39Speaker 10: Coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour, we'll
- 13:41Speaker 10: hear from the nephew, who is not a hater right
- 13:43Speaker 10: after this.
- 13:44Speaker 1: You're listening hard Morning show.
- 13:51Speaker 6: Hey, look, you can't let the urge to sing your
- 13:54Speaker 6: favorite songs while you're driving distract you from that truck
- 13:57Speaker 6: drifting toward your lane or that lane splitting biker creeping
- 14:02Speaker 6: up beside you. Fortunately, every Honday offers advanced safety features
- 14:06Speaker 6: that can alert you to potential dangers around you.
- 14:09Speaker 7: That's right, because Hondai is always working to ensure the
- 14:12Speaker 7: road doesn't get you. Hondai vehicles have won over one
- 14:14Speaker 7: hundred and twenty IIHS Top Safety awards from two thousand
- 14:18Speaker 7: and six to twenty twenty four.
- 14:20Speaker 6: As of December twenty twenty four.
- 14:23Speaker 10: All right, guys, it is time now to run that
- 14:25Speaker 10: brank back with the nephew. What you got for is new, that's.
- 14:28Speaker 7: Right here, sirl your check bounce, we don't do that
- 14:32Speaker 7: down here at this church. Your check bounce got dog?
- 14:36Speaker 7: If you would Hello Hello, I'm trying to reach a
- 14:39Speaker 7: Monica system.
- 14:41Speaker 1: Monica, Please, OHO's calling.
- 14:43Speaker 6: This is brother Deshaun.
- 14:45Speaker 7: I'm calling Actually I'm a member a Greater Missionary Baptist Church.
- 14:49Speaker 11: How can I help you?
- 14:50Speaker 6: Calling you actually about the offering? Now? Did you I
- 14:53Speaker 6: know you paid your ties?
- 14:54Speaker 11: Yeah, every Sunday?
- 14:56Speaker 6: Okay, Now you paid a love offering as well? Right?
- 14:59Speaker 11: Yes, I do?
- 15:00Speaker 7: Okay, Now this past Sunday. I'm looking at a check
- 15:04Speaker 7: that you.
- 15:04Speaker 11: Left us with the bank, right, right, I sure did.
- 15:07Speaker 11: I wrote a check Sunday.
- 15:09Speaker 6: Okay.
- 15:09Speaker 7: Now the check, ma'am was two hundred and fifty dollars.
- 15:14Speaker 6: Am I correct?
- 15:14Speaker 11: Right?
- 15:15Speaker 1: Right?
- 15:15Speaker 11: I wrote two checks for my ties and the love offer. Right,
- 15:18Speaker 11: I wrote one for two fifty for the love offer?
- 15:20Speaker 6: Okay?
- 15:21Speaker 11: Now what is this called regarding? Why are you calling me?
- 15:24Speaker 7: Well, what I wanted to tell you is that I
- 15:26Speaker 7: hate to be a beaver of bad news, but your
- 15:29Speaker 7: your check that you wrote for two fifty actually has bounced.
- 15:34Speaker 11: And wait a minute, you said my check bounce for
- 15:36Speaker 11: two hundred and fifty dollars.
- 15:38Speaker 6: Your check bounce.
- 15:39Speaker 7: So what I'm doing is calling you about recouping the
- 15:43Speaker 7: two fifty as well as you know you you cost
- 15:46Speaker 7: us thirty dollars in.
- 15:48Speaker 6: Bank fees back.
- 15:49Speaker 11: Wait a minute. Now, I wrote two checks. I wrote
- 15:51Speaker 11: a check for one hundred dollars. Did that one bounce?
- 15:54Speaker 7: I don't see to it that that that one bounce.
- 15:56Speaker 7: All I know is the one that the love offering
- 15:58Speaker 7: has bounced.
- 15:59Speaker 11: What did you put me in at the same time?
- 16:00Speaker 11: Because I wrote them at the same time.
- 16:02Speaker 7: They all go in on Monday, ma'am. Now, I didn't
- 16:05Speaker 7: put them in at the same time. I've been putting
- 16:06Speaker 7: them in for the last two three years. The problem is,
- 16:09Speaker 7: why would people write there, what is your name, brother Deshaun?
- 16:13Speaker 11: And you was at it Sunday?
- 16:14Speaker 7: I was. I don't think it matters when I was there, ma'am.
- 16:17Speaker 7: The problem is that I don't put these checks in.
- 16:19Speaker 7: And I don't understand why y'all write these checks to the.
- 16:22Speaker 11: Checks knowing that they're gonna buy these checks.
- 16:25Speaker 6: There's a lot of people righte good, well not.
- 16:27Speaker 11: Write bad check? One clear? Why the other one didn't clear?
- 16:30Speaker 6: Maybe you didn't have enough money for both of them
- 16:32Speaker 6: to clear.
- 16:33Speaker 5: What did you just say?
- 16:36Speaker 7: Maybe you didn't have enough money in the bank for
- 16:37Speaker 7: both of them to clear. And I don't understand why
- 16:39Speaker 7: people write.
- 16:39Speaker 11: These plenty money in the bank and all my checks clear.
- 16:43Speaker 11: I don't write no rubber checks.
- 16:45Speaker 7: Well, you wrote one on Sunday, and that's the problem.
- 16:48Speaker 7: How you're gonna try to give a look?
- 16:49Speaker 11: Wait a minute, I think you got me confused with
- 16:51Speaker 11: somebody else. I don't write no bad checks. You done
- 16:54Speaker 11: wrote that to be nice to you.
- 16:55Speaker 6: I'm trying to be nice to you. Win. Can we
- 16:57Speaker 6: expect the two fifty plus the thirty dollars.
- 17:00Speaker 11: With wait, thirty dollars, that's.
- 17:01Speaker 6: The bank fees, ma'am for the dollg go on check bouncing?
- 17:04Speaker 11: My check don't bounced. I'm gonna check my bank and
- 17:07Speaker 11: if my check clear, you're gonna pay me thirty dollars
- 17:10Speaker 11: for calling me harassing me about a two hundred and
- 17:12Speaker 11: fifty dollars check bounce.
- 17:14Speaker 1: I don't write no Why would you write check?
- 17:16Speaker 7: You want to sit up in the church and write
- 17:18Speaker 7: these big number checks when you know you ain't got
- 17:20Speaker 7: it in the bank.
- 17:21Speaker 11: What did you say?
- 17:23Speaker 7: I said, why would you write these checks when the
- 17:25Speaker 7: money ain't in Now.
- 17:26Speaker 11: Let me tell you one thing. I don't write no
- 17:30Speaker 11: bad check. And you got a loters calling me telling
- 17:33Speaker 11: me my check bounce.
- 17:34Speaker 7: Your check is the one that has bounced and you
- 17:36Speaker 7: tell you what you do.
- 17:37Speaker 11: Since my check bounce, you paid them, since you got
- 17:40Speaker 11: all the money, and don't call me with this again.
- 17:46Speaker 7: Hello, don't you hang up on me no more? When
- 17:48Speaker 7: are we gonna get this two fifty and this thirty dollars?
- 17:53Speaker 11: Somebody from the church to my eye, rode a bad check?
- 17:55Speaker 11: I don't write No, you didn't write a bad check.
- 17:58Speaker 11: I didn't write no bad Yes a minute, why are
- 18:01Speaker 11: you calling me? Why the treasure? Don't call me at church?
- 18:04Speaker 6: The treasure is a bus.
- 18:06Speaker 11: I ain't ever know the deacon call nobody by no
- 18:08Speaker 11: bad check? Yo is full of thank you? You got
- 18:13Speaker 11: the money?
- 18:14Speaker 1: I ain't got Who in.
- 18:15Speaker 6: The hell is that in the background?
- 18:16Speaker 3: Who is that?
- 18:17Speaker 11: Never mind who it is? We both go to the
- 18:19Speaker 11: same church, and you gonna call me? To my I
- 18:21Speaker 11: rode a bad check? You don't you call me no more?
- 18:24Speaker 11: And if the check bad, you paid? Okay?
- 18:27Speaker 6: You pastor know you talking like this?
- 18:29Speaker 11: You pastor know you calling me?
- 18:31Speaker 4: Can you ask for that?
- 18:32Speaker 1: Look?
- 18:33Speaker 7: When are we gonna get this two hundred and eighty dollars?

- 21:34Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 21:41Speaker 6: Hey, look, you can't let the urge to sing your
- 21:44Speaker 6: favorite songs while you're driving distract you from that truck
- 21:47Speaker 6: drifting toward your lane or that lane splitting biker creeping
- 21:52Speaker 6: up beside you. Fortunately, every Honday offers advanced safety features
- 21:56Speaker 6: that can alert you to potential dangers around you.
- 21:59Speaker 7: That's right, because is always working to ensure it the

- 22:11Speaker 7: twenty four.
- 22:13Speaker 10: Coming up at the top of the hour, get a
- 22:15Speaker 10: load of this. In entertainment news, Stephen A. Smith is
- 22:18Speaker 10: considering a twenty twenty eight presidential run.
- 22:23Speaker 1: He's considering it.
- 22:24Speaker 10: All Rights actress Ryl Lee Ralph and Samuel L. Jackson,
- 22:32Speaker 10: our cousins who Knew Yeah, and some celebrity Baby News
- 22:38Speaker 10: New Edition member Ricky Bell and his wife are expecting
- 22:40Speaker 10: their first child together. Also in trending headline news, prayers
- 22:44Speaker 10: going up for victims of the horrific nightclub roof collapse
- 22:48Speaker 10: in the Dominican Republic. We'll talk about all of these
- 22:51Speaker 10: stories at the top of the hour, but right now
- 22:54Speaker 10: it is time to ask the colo. This is from
- 22:58Speaker 10: Kinetra in Macon. Kenetra writes, I'm dealing with a man
- 23:02Speaker 10: that has been married three times, and all he talks
- 23:06Speaker 10: about is getting it right the fourth time by marrying me.
- 23:09Speaker 10: I would love to talk to his ex wives before
- 23:12Speaker 10: I get into deep with him. So should I ask
- 23:15Speaker 10: him first or do it behind his back?
- 23:20Speaker 6: Lady, you talking to his ex wives? It's probably one
- 23:27Speaker 6: of the more ignorant things you can do, because what
- 23:32Speaker 6: do you think they're going to tell you what is it?
- 23:36Speaker 6: Do you think they're going to? Have you ever heard
- 23:38Speaker 6: a woman say, ever, you know what, I ain't nothing,
- 23:44Speaker 6: I ain't a good woman. I was tripping. I just
- 23:47Speaker 6: wasn't a good woman. Have you ever heard a woman
- 23:49Speaker 6: say that? I haven't Every woman I've ever talked to
- 23:55Speaker 6: the reason they relationship ain't work. It's called some man
- 23:59Speaker 6: somewhere was dog or some man somewhere treated her wrong.
- 24:04Speaker 6: I have never ever heard a woman say it was her.
- 24:09Speaker 6: In all my life, I've never heard one.
- 24:12Speaker 10: So you don't think she should ask the ex wives
- 24:15Speaker 10: about why they broke up or why they divorced?
- 24:18Speaker 6: This? What what could you possibly gain from that? Except
- 24:21Speaker 6: why not to marry him? If you don't want to
- 24:24Speaker 6: marry the man, don't marry the man because not now
- 24:28Speaker 6: one of them is going to tell you go ahead
- 24:30Speaker 6: and do it, Not one of them. And how does
- 24:34Speaker 6: she know all of them? Anyway? They all go to
- 24:37Speaker 6: say in church? Would she she might not know?
- 24:41Speaker 1: You can reach out on faithbook. She needs some intel.
- 24:50Speaker 6: She should get her intail from herself. You all have
- 24:55Speaker 6: this wonderful thing called intuition. If you think you got
- 25:00Speaker 6: to check with all the people. It's already something wrong,
- 25:04Speaker 6: all right.
- 25:06Speaker 10: Moving on to Henry and Braydenson, Henry says, I charted
- 25:11Speaker 10: a boat for me and my wife and she had
- 25:13Speaker 10: really bad motion sickness on the boat. We went back
- 25:17Speaker 10: to the dock and she went home. She's mad because
- 25:20Speaker 10: I called our son to come sail with me. Was
- 25:23Speaker 10: I wrong for getting my money's worth?
- 25:26Speaker 1: What? Yeah?
- 25:28Speaker 10: Bro?
- 25:31Speaker 6: What you can't be no more dumber? Oh you should
- 25:46Speaker 6: have took care of your wife, got her home, make
- 25:49Speaker 6: sure she was good. Now, next time you get a boat,
- 25:54Speaker 6: just get the boat with your son.
- 25:56Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, that's it.
- 26:00Speaker 6: You let her go home by herself, used to.
- 26:03Speaker 1: We went, we went back to the doc. She went home.
- 26:08Speaker 1: Then he called, all right.
- 26:12Speaker 6: Bro, bro, that's crazy.
- 26:14Speaker 1: He just wanted his money's worth, that's what he said.
- 26:17Speaker 6: Don't your wife, dude, your wife. I'm sorry, bro, bro,
- 26:21Speaker 6: some stuff is a loss.
- 26:24Speaker 1: Yeah, it's right off.
- 26:26Speaker 6: Just to write off though. Yeah, you won't get you
- 26:30Speaker 6: see your money's worth. It's not it's not worth it. Yeah,
- 26:35Speaker 6: because look you're not getting your money back regardless, right,
- 26:39Speaker 6: exactly right. So that's it. Now you're out there with
- 26:43Speaker 6: your son. Now you've got to go home and deal
- 26:45Speaker 6: with the ramifications of your decision, and it's not fit
- 26:49Speaker 6: to be a good one.
- 26:51Speaker 10: But Steve, what happened when she started getting motion sickness
- 26:55Speaker 10: on the boat?
- 26:56Speaker 1: Did he get mad at her?
- 26:58Speaker 6: He probably said, maybe not much I paid for this boat.
- 27:01Speaker 1: Exactly what is you vomiting for?
- 27:08Speaker 6: Maybe just look at the horizon, Look at the horizon, focus,
- 27:12Speaker 6: get yourself together though.
- 27:14Speaker 1: And you think drama. Mean, Oh now.
- 27:19Speaker 6: We got to go back. I'm gonna put you in
- 27:22Speaker 6: this uber. I'm gonna call my sol. We gonna go back.
- 27:26Speaker 7: Man, I've been sick on the boat before. Man, that's
- 27:29Speaker 7: that's a terrible feeling.
- 27:30Speaker 10: Yeah, yeah, yeah, all right. Moving on to Kyla and Grambling,
- 27:36Speaker 10: Kyla writes, I'm graduating next month and moving back home.
- 27:40Speaker 10: My boyfriend back home wants me to move in with him,
- 27:44Speaker 10: but I'm dating a new guy on campus and I
- 27:46Speaker 10: really don't want to leave him alone. He's a senior,
- 27:49Speaker 10: but he has a year of eligibility left on the
- 27:52Speaker 10: basketball team. Will he forget about me after I moved
- 27:56Speaker 10: back home?
- 27:58Speaker 6: Yeah? On the bath, din't you say he's on basketball team?
- 28:02Speaker 1: She said it.
- 28:04Speaker 6: You ain't the only one watching run them down? The
- 28:06Speaker 6: floor now, and when you move back home, your boyfriend
- 28:15Speaker 6: back home want you to move in. Here's another one
- 28:17Speaker 6: of them unnormal letters, just typing some stuff like it's cool. Uh,
- 28:23Speaker 6: I don't want to move back in because I'm dating
- 28:25Speaker 6: the dude on the team that's got one more year
- 28:27Speaker 6: of eligibility, and I don't want him forget me when
- 28:30Speaker 6: I go back home. But if I go back home,
- 28:32Speaker 6: I move in with this other dude.
- 28:36Speaker 7: You don't.
- 28:36Speaker 6: You don't see nothing.
- 28:38Speaker 1: Wrong, Warren. She's young, she's torn.
- 28:46Speaker 6: No Carlo, no what.
- 28:51Speaker 1: He is college days.
- 28:54Speaker 6: Yeah, but here's an opportunity for a woman to say, look, okay,
- 28:59Speaker 6: right now, I ain't sugar honey, ice tea. Oh goodness, she's.
- 29:05Speaker 12: Well.
- 29:05Speaker 6: Well, ain't no woman gonna say that. But here's a
- 29:07Speaker 6: good time to say it, because if this was a man, Hey, look,
- 29:11Speaker 6: I'm dating this girl in college, but my girl back
- 29:14Speaker 6: home want to move in when I got home. But
- 29:17Speaker 6: I don't want the girl back here in college to
- 29:20Speaker 6: forget about me. You think if I go home moving
- 29:23Speaker 6: with this girl, she'll forget about me. What would y'all
- 29:25Speaker 6: say to that? Yeah, make up your mind, tell somebody
- 29:34Speaker 6: the truths. Yeah, that's what y'all would be doing so
- 29:37Speaker 6: same thing to this little girl right here. No, I
- 29:42Speaker 6: can't help you. Oh, you got to make a decision.
- 29:47Speaker 6: You got to go back home and sleep. I don't
- 29:49Speaker 6: care if she I don't care if she's eighteen. Listen
- 29:53Speaker 6: to me, you, this, this ain't the way the game go.
- 29:59Speaker 6: This is not the way the game go. I'm so sorry. Yeah,
- 30:03Speaker 6: hard to be a player when you ain't a.
- 30:07Speaker 10: Lot of work, learn right, a lot of work. So
- 30:12Speaker 10: will he forget about me after I moved back home?
- 30:15Speaker 6: Yes? Girl, out of sight, out of mind.
- 30:19Speaker 1: All right, thank you. Colo.
- 30:21Speaker 10: Coming up at the top of the hour, we'll have
- 30:23Speaker 10: some entertainment news for you.
- 30:25Speaker 1: Right after this.
- 30:27Speaker 10: Haitus is John Legend and you listen to the Steve
- 30:29Speaker 10: Harvey Morning Show. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 30:37Speaker 1: Well, guys.
- 30:38Speaker 10: According to the Black Information Network ESPN, personality stephen A.
- 30:42Speaker 10: Smith says he's now open to running for president after
- 30:46Speaker 10: previously dismissing the idea. Stephen A took to x that's
- 30:50Speaker 10: formerly Twitter, of course, to share that he's weighing a
- 30:53Speaker 10: twenty twenty eight presidential bid. He says, quote, it is
- 30:57Speaker 10: time to stop messing around life is great, especially at
- 31:01Speaker 10: ESPN slash Disney. Hate the thought of being a politician,
- 31:05Speaker 10: but sick of this mess, so I'm officially leaving all
- 31:09Speaker 10: doors open.
- 31:10Speaker 1: End quote.
- 31:11Speaker 10: In addition, during a recent interview at the NAB Show
- 31:17Speaker 10: in Las Vegas, stephen A said, quote, I've been approached
- 31:20Speaker 10: by people on Capitol Hill. I've been approached by people
- 31:23Speaker 10: who are elected officials in office, whether it's governors or
- 31:26Speaker 10: mayors or what have you. People have legitimately seriously asked
- 31:32Speaker 10: me about it. And while he is reluctant to quote
- 31:35Speaker 10: be a politician, stephen A said, if the country remains
- 31:39Speaker 10: an absolute mess after the twenty twenty six midterms, he
- 31:43Speaker 10: will consider running period.
- 31:46Speaker 6: All right. First of all, let me help you understand
- 31:49Speaker 6: a couple of things. The country is going to be
- 31:51Speaker 6: a mess after the twenty twenty six midterms. Are the
- 31:55Speaker 6: country's in a complete mess right now? Number two is
- 32:00Speaker 6: asking you to be president? Next? Next? Next? Do you
- 32:06Speaker 6: have any idea what it is to raise money for
- 32:11Speaker 6: a campaign? Thirdly, you do know you will have to
- 32:15Speaker 6: give up your lucrative contract at ESPN at Disney. You
- 32:19Speaker 6: do know that, don't you. Number four who is voting
- 32:24Speaker 6: for you? Lebron.
- 32:26Speaker 1: You wouldn't vote for Lebron.
- 32:29Speaker 6: Number five, number five, Brice. Here's here's another thing. You
- 32:38Speaker 6: have to be careful when you're dealing with politics, because
- 32:42Speaker 6: super PACs is smart. They will send somebody to talk
- 32:47Speaker 6: to you, acting like his interest, just to draw you
- 32:50Speaker 6: in as a distraction and to take away from votes
- 32:54Speaker 6: from a real candidate. That happens all the time. They
- 32:58Speaker 6: backed people all the time. That's why they put herschel
- 33:03Speaker 6: Walker up. Let me just give you a primateself. No,
- 33:10Speaker 6: they dug him up just to put him in there
- 33:14Speaker 6: to run against somebody, to be a distraction. It's crazy, man.
- 33:19Speaker 6: And I just look Stephen a and ire cool.
- 33:24Speaker 13: Bro.
- 33:24Speaker 10: You wouldn't vote for him, Steve.
- 33:28Speaker 6: I mean, look, I would vote for him over over Advance.
- 33:34Speaker 6: I would vote for him over Ted Crews. Of course,
- 33:41Speaker 6: I'm not fit to be his VP.
- 33:45Speaker 1: Steve. Yeah, Steve, Steve, Steve and Steve.
- 33:52Speaker 7: Wow, I didn't know. I didn't know Stephen ain't like
- 33:57Speaker 7: politics like that. I didn't don't know what I did.
- 34:00Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, Well he's reluctant.
- 34:03Speaker 10: He says to be a politician, but he feels the
- 34:06Speaker 10: country's in a mess and he can help I mean,
- 34:09Speaker 10: you know sometimes you're well, if.
- 34:11Speaker 6: You're reluctant, then why help me?
- 34:17Speaker 10: Well, he feels like he can contribute something, obviously. You
- 34:20Speaker 10: know he wants to serve his country.
- 34:22Speaker 1: Obviously.
- 34:23Speaker 10: You know.
- 34:27Speaker 1: He's stephen A all right. And you you think about
- 34:31Speaker 1: the vice presidency, you think, yeah, yeah, stephen A and
- 34:38Speaker 1: Steven I love it.
- 34:41Speaker 6: They couldn't even put the camera on me while he
- 34:43Speaker 6: was talking because my faith would be going. No, that
- 34:48Speaker 6: is not what I told you to say.
- 34:50Speaker 1: Musslow boy when he was talking to Trump, what are
- 34:55Speaker 1: you doing?
- 34:57Speaker 6: Ah? Hell no, because you know he says something, he
- 35:00Speaker 6: says some stuff. I don't know, man, you know, I
- 35:06Speaker 6: don't know.
- 35:06Speaker 10: Well, he's considering it, though, we need to consider the
- 35:10Speaker 10: possibility as well. And other entertainment news, Finding.
- 35:14Speaker 6: Your Roots Democrats is in some pull the shape until.
- 35:17Speaker 1: That that Now that's a factor they need to cut together.
- 35:21Speaker 6: Yeah, yes they do.
- 35:24Speaker 10: And other entertainment news. Finding Your Roots is a show
- 35:27Speaker 10: on PBS. It's hosted by Henry Lewis Gates Junior.
- 35:30Speaker 7: Now.
- 35:30Speaker 10: This is a show where celebrities learn more about their ancestry,
- 35:34Speaker 10: and on the latest episode, actor Cheryl Lee Ralph just
- 35:38Speaker 10: found out that She is related to actor Samuel L.
- 35:41Speaker 1: Jackson.
- 35:43Speaker 10: They are distant cousins. Show reacted to the new Yeah,
- 35:47Speaker 10: that is so cool to have Samuel.
- 35:48Speaker 1: L as your cousin.
- 35:49Speaker 10: And Cheryl Lee Ralph chery Lee reacted to the news
- 35:54Speaker 10: and said, are you kidding me?
- 35:55Speaker 1: I like him so much as we all do. Cheryl.
- 36:00Speaker 7: Uh.
- 36:01Speaker 1: Now, here's a question.
- 36:03Speaker 10: If you had an option, Steve, which celebrity would you
- 36:07Speaker 10: choose to be your cousin?
- 36:08Speaker 1: And why?
- 36:11Speaker 12: Oh?
- 36:12Speaker 1: I mean if you could pick someone?
- 36:13Speaker 4: Yeah, al L cool jh ok.
- 36:21Speaker 6: A cool J I like, so you were wanting to
- 36:27Speaker 6: be your cousin. I mean, you know, he cool, he hard?
- 36:31Speaker 6: You know, okay what he stand for?
- 36:35Speaker 10: Michael Jordan's Michael George Jordan's Okay, okay, first.

- 37:17Speaker 1: after this.
- 37:17Speaker 6: Are they doing that?

- 37:54Speaker 10: There's a trend on social media that people are seeking
- 37:57Speaker 10: advice about. It's called silent chet eating, silent cheating, or
- 38:02Speaker 10: some people call it emotional cheating. We've heard that term,
- 38:05Speaker 10: of course. It's when your partner isn't doing any physical cheating. No,
- 38:09Speaker 10: nothing physical going on, but at the same time they're
- 38:13Speaker 10: not being totally honest about their behavior. So here's a
- 38:17Speaker 10: question for you, guys. Here's some signs to look for
- 38:20Speaker 10: to see if you agree. So they might keep their
- 38:24Speaker 10: options open without actually cheating. For example, they may stay
- 38:29Speaker 10: in close touch.
- 38:30Speaker 6: With an X not I ain't got worry about that
- 38:32Speaker 6: with me.
- 38:35Speaker 1: You all a new.
- 38:36Speaker 6: Exit that's going back.
- 38:43Speaker 1: All right.
- 38:43Speaker 10: Here's here's another example or a sign. The person you're
- 38:47Speaker 10: silent cheating with is constantly on your mind. No coming,
- 38:56Speaker 10: I'm talking about silent cheating.
- 38:58Speaker 13: You always own my Okay, that's a form.
- 39:09Speaker 10: Here's another one, Yeah, making somebody all the always all right,
- 39:17Speaker 10: here's another one. Unfair comparisons. They start comparing you to them,
- 39:22Speaker 10: and your partner starts criticizing you a lot.
- 39:25Speaker 1: Oh that's a dead giveaway.
- 39:26Speaker 7: Man.
- 39:27Speaker 1: Hell no, that's.
- 39:36Speaker 6: You know, baby, You don't look nothing like she did.
- 39:40Speaker 1: Yeah, the wrong. Plenty of them out here, plenty of
- 39:46Speaker 1: fools out here.
- 39:47Speaker 6: All right, Why won't you do your hair like she did?
- 39:51Speaker 1: Because, oh yeah, you won't? Dead giveaways? All right. They
- 39:59Speaker 1: actus vicious with their phone.
- 40:02Speaker 10: They turn the screen away when they're texting, or quickly
- 40:05Speaker 10: close a messaging app when you walk by.
- 40:08Speaker 6: That is so me sleeping with my phone in my
- 40:11Speaker 6: drawls that that is that a sign that.
- 40:13Speaker 10: You're an emotional you're a silent cheater. You act suspicious
- 40:19Speaker 10: with your phone, you're gonna change your behavior app. And
- 40:26Speaker 10: here's another sign. You get defensive when your when your
- 40:29Speaker 10: partner brings it up, and then they flip it on you.
- 40:33Speaker 10: Saying you're being paranoid, you know that gas lighting thing,
- 40:37Speaker 10: because if they have to hide it, uh, they very
- 40:40Speaker 10: well might be gaslighting you.
- 40:42Speaker 7: This is such a extensive, Uh, this is so touchy
- 40:46Speaker 7: right here, it's all on me, Junior, Steve.
- 40:49Speaker 6: It's all right here on us. That's all. What are
- 40:56Speaker 6: you'all gonna ask? Y'allselves?
- 41:00Speaker 1: I'll provide the funny for the show, all right.
- 41:03Speaker 6: God, hell, Shirley, Oh my god, this is funny.
- 41:11Speaker 10: Coming up at thirty four minutes after the hour. We'll
- 41:13Speaker 10: check your voicemail Steve eight seven seven nine, Steve. Right
- 41:17Speaker 10: after this, you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 41:24Speaker 1: It is time now to.
- 41:25Speaker 10: Check your voicemail Steve at eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve.
- 41:29Speaker 10: Call leave us a message. You might just hear your
- 41:31Speaker 10: call on the air. You ready, mister Harveday, Sure, am,
- 41:35Speaker 10: all right, let's go. This is from Ms Bonnie in Charlotte.
- 41:39Speaker 6: Good marnin scene.
- 41:40Speaker 14: I just want to say thank you for lettingu's borr
- 41:43Speaker 14: nephew Tommy this weekend in Charlotte, No Carolina. He did
- 41:48Speaker 14: a wonderful job. I didn't know what to expect, but
- 41:50Speaker 14: he did a terrific job and want him to come
- 41:54Speaker 14: back there. So again, thank you for Mittan's borron nephew Tommy.
- 41:58Speaker 6: Have a good day show well, miss Bonnie. Part of
- 42:01Speaker 6: the reason why you said you didn't know what to
- 42:03Speaker 6: expect is because of the ignorance that spewed out of
- 42:06Speaker 6: his mouth on the radio. Fact, and after you spend
- 42:09Speaker 6: your money live, you're not really sure if that ignorance translate.
- 42:14Speaker 6: But he has masterly learned how to translate his radio
- 42:18Speaker 6: ignance into stage ignance, which is where he started it at. Anyway,
- 42:23Speaker 6: So you're welcome. It's Bonnie, you can have many times.
- 42:26Speaker 6: Just just called and asked for it.
- 42:28Speaker 1: That's a nice compliment, Uncle, Yeah, that's nice. Yeah, all right.
- 42:33Speaker 10: This is from a man, Steve, who left a message
- 42:36Speaker 10: about Neo's polyamorous relationship.
- 42:39Speaker 12: Hey Steve, this is the answer to your question.
- 42:43Speaker 15: What is it for those women THEO girlfriends? Well, it
- 42:48Speaker 15: ain't his looks. It's his money.
- 42:50Speaker 1: Those some beautiful women.
- 42:51Speaker 15: You think they give enough to and putting up with
- 42:55Speaker 15: each other having sex for one man for free, No, sir,
- 43:00Speaker 15: is his money.
- 43:01Speaker 12: He's paying those girls.
- 43:02Speaker 9: Man trusts me, bruh.
- 43:04Speaker 12: I'm a sugar daddy and I got two stream women
- 43:07Speaker 12: that I'm paying. Ain't no women giving up, no to
- 43:12Speaker 12: no celebrity for free. And he's not even all that
- 43:15Speaker 12: just looking.
- 43:16Speaker 15: I just want to put that out there.
- 43:21Speaker 6: Well, I don't know where to start.
- 43:24Speaker 1: Yeah, at the beginning, so much I'm back. Do you
- 43:27Speaker 1: think he was daddy?
- 43:30Speaker 6: I don't know how much y'all think neo make uh huh.
- 43:37Speaker 6: I'm sure the brother's doing well.
- 43:40Speaker 3: You got here.
- 43:41Speaker 6: You ain't doing faux women with women too, You're not
- 43:46Speaker 6: doing fu women. Well, listen, at one time. No, it's
- 43:53Speaker 6: hard enough building a life with one woman to have something.
- 43:59Speaker 6: You know that if it is money, whatever it is,
- 44:03Speaker 6: look neo tied of people knocking it. But once you
- 44:06Speaker 6: put it out there publicly, and now you're talking about
- 44:09Speaker 6: we add the fourth and all this here, and you
- 44:11Speaker 6: open yourself to public scrutiny, I'm just saying. I'm just saying,
- 44:17Speaker 6: as a father who's an with daughters, what are you doing?
- 44:24Speaker 6: What does this say about you? Look, I don't care
- 44:27Speaker 6: what term you want to attach to it. Polyannorus, happy living,
- 44:34Speaker 6: freedom of choice, I mean, oh, whatever you want to
- 44:37Speaker 6: call it. You pick a pronoun, put on it whatever
- 44:39Speaker 6: you want to put on it. What does this do
- 44:41Speaker 6: for you in the long run. What's gonna happen to
- 44:45Speaker 6: you when you decide, you know what, I don't want
- 44:47Speaker 6: to be third, I don't want to be second. I
- 44:49Speaker 6: want to be number one. Well, what's gonna happen to
- 44:52Speaker 6: you when you decide you want to have a family,
- 44:55Speaker 6: when you get tired of fooling round with this ignorant
- 44:57Speaker 6: mess right here? What see? Because here's what you don't
- 45:02Speaker 6: understand is you can't make a series of bad decisions
- 45:05Speaker 6: and the fact that to be and expect there to
- 45:07Speaker 6: be no consequences in the long wood. So, young ladies,
- 45:11Speaker 6: I got whatever y'all want to do with NEO. That's fine,
- 45:13Speaker 6: that's your business. But when you do change your mind
- 45:16Speaker 6: and you get ready to correct it, do you do
- 45:19Speaker 6: you know you have to pay for that. There's a
- 45:21Speaker 6: penalty phase from behind every decision you make. Trust me,
- 45:25Speaker 6: I know I sure wanted you to get to that
- 45:31Speaker 6: sugar daddy here His voice didn't really say sugar daddy.
- 45:38Speaker 6: He don't sound like that. Look listen, listen, listen. There
- 45:47Speaker 6: ain't no celebrity getting no due for no money, need money.
- 45:53Speaker 7: Man.
- 45:56Speaker 1: I know I'm a street I'm a sugar daddy, I
- 45:59Speaker 1: got too what I don't know what that means? What
- 46:08Speaker 1: are we talking about here?
- 46:10Speaker 6: All right?
- 46:10Speaker 10: Thank you Steve. Coming up next, it is the nephew
- 46:13Speaker 10: and the prank phone call for today. Right after this,
- 46:16Speaker 10: you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming up

- 46:49Speaker 10: nephew is here with today's prank phone call.

- 47:35Speaker 7: and I'm trying to do some schematics. I'm thinking, I'm
- 47:38Speaker 7: I'm calling the right house. I'm not quite sure. Are

- 47:45Speaker 6: Okay. How many square feet is your house? If you
- 47:48Speaker 6: don't mind me asking?
- 47:50Speaker 12: Uh, it's about thirty five hundred square feet.
- 47:53Speaker 7: I don't know this is the right house or not.
- 47:55Speaker 7: Is this you have a deck out in the back

- 48:03Speaker 6: Okay? If you don't mind me, how long have you
- 48:06Speaker 6: lived there?
- 48:07Speaker 12: Yeah? My man, I've already asked you twice, and you're

- 48:14Speaker 7: Well, like I said, I'm a realator and I'm trying
- 48:17Speaker 7: to get ahead of some things that's going on, and.
- 48:21Speaker 6: You're well, it's been.

- 48:36Speaker 7: and you've got.
- 48:36Speaker 12: The wrong house. My house is not going in foreclosure.
- 48:39Speaker 12: I'm up to date.
- 48:40Speaker 1: I'm good.
- 48:41Speaker 16: So we got the wrong house.
- 48:44Speaker 7: Okay, hang on, So what's Dixie Road? And like you said,

- 48:53Speaker 12: Right, I don't know. I don't know what information you're getting.
- 48:56Speaker 12: But when it comes to my name in my crib

- 49:01Speaker 12: I'm up to.
- 49:01Speaker 16: Date and I'm fine.

- 49:44Speaker 7: My house is now Okay, no, let's let's back up.
- 49:46Speaker 7: Let's go back to just the real. You're not gonna

- 56:45Speaker 10: Letter, thanking nephew subjects. He puts it down, but he's broke.
- 56:49Speaker 10: Dear Stephen Shirley, my man and I were friends for years,
- 56:52Speaker 10: and he's always been down on his luck. I called
- 56:55Speaker 10: him bad Loveberry because he couldn't ever catch a break.
- 56:59Speaker 10: Over the years, grew fond of each other and we
- 57:01Speaker 10: slowly became more than friends. One day, he admitted that
- 57:05Speaker 10: he's always loved me, and that's why he has taken
- 57:08Speaker 10: such good care of me for twenty five years. I
- 57:12Speaker 10: could not remember one time he took care of me,
- 57:14Speaker 10: but then I had flashbacks of the small but sweet
- 57:17Speaker 10: things he's done for me, things like coming over in
- 57:20Speaker 10: the middle of the night when my dishwasher was leaking,
- 57:23Speaker 10: and painting my bedroom and helping me rake leaves one
- 57:27Speaker 10: Sunday afternoon. I then remembered how I had to pick
- 57:30Speaker 10: him up and take him back to his brother's house
- 57:33Speaker 10: after he helped me. Despite all of that, I fell
- 57:36Speaker 10: for him after we made love for the first time.
- 57:40Speaker 10: He went from bad luck Berry to Boss Daddy because
- 57:43Speaker 10: he put it down. That's his nickname now. And my
- 57:46Speaker 10: friends laugh at me because my man is not the
- 57:49Speaker 10: boss of anything. He has a dead end job and
- 57:52Speaker 10: he shares a car with his brother. I drive everywhere
- 57:56Speaker 10: we go, and I slide my credit card to him
- 57:58Speaker 10: when we go out to eat so that he can
- 58:01Speaker 10: pretend to pay for our meals. Look, I get it.
- 58:04Speaker 10: Everyone is struggling or has struggled in the past, but
- 58:08Speaker 10: the people around me are ambitious and hard working people.
- 58:12Speaker 10: I'm afraid that my man is too comfortable with his circumstances.
- 58:15Speaker 10: He's fifty two and I'm fifty. So should I stick
- 58:19Speaker 10: with him and encourage him to get a better job
- 58:22Speaker 10: and maybe help him buy a car. Or should we
- 58:24Speaker 10: go back to being friends and I let him come
- 58:27Speaker 10: over often for great sex. That is the question. Well,
- 58:32Speaker 10: of course, it depends on what you want. You haven't
- 58:35Speaker 10: figured that out yet, it seems do you want a
- 58:37Speaker 10: man that can provide for you take care of you
- 58:40Speaker 10: and love you, or do you want a man that
- 58:42Speaker 10: can offer you great sex but pretty much nothing else.
- 58:47Speaker 10: There's nothing wrong with encouraging him to get a better job,
- 58:51Speaker 10: but you would think at fifty two that he should
- 58:54Speaker 10: be able to encourage and motivate himself to be better.
- 58:57Speaker 10: By now he should have something to show for it.
- 59:00Speaker 1: He doesn't.
- 59:01Speaker 10: He doesn't even have a car of his own. Okay,
- 59:05Speaker 10: all these years twenty five did you say all these years?
- 59:08Speaker 10: He's been around that long.
- 59:10Speaker 1: What has he been doing?
- 59:12Speaker 10: Does he want to be better? Does he want to
- 59:15Speaker 10: do better? Or is he just okay with where he is?
- 59:18Speaker 10: And if that's the case, he's not stepping up, then
- 59:23Speaker 10: if you get with him in a real relationship, it
- 59:26Speaker 10: won't work because you will you will be footing all
- 59:28Speaker 10: the bills and you will start to resent him. You're
- 59:31Speaker 10: already complaining that you have to drive everywhere and slide
- 59:34Speaker 10: him your credit card to pay for dinner when you
- 59:36Speaker 10: go out. You're already doing that, Steve.
- 59:40Speaker 6: This letter is about something that's wrong with two people,
- 59:44Speaker 6: him and her, because he's fifty two and she fifty.
- 59:49Speaker 6: This letter don't even sound right of a fifty two
- 59:53Speaker 6: year old man, and it don't sound right over a
- 59:56Speaker 6: fifty year old woman. Uh, we were friends for years.
- 1:00:02Speaker 6: He's always been down on his luck. Wait a minute, wait,
- 1:00:06Speaker 6: always always been down on his luck. No, no, no, no, no,
- 1:00:14Speaker 6: He's always made poor decisions. This is what this is
- 1:00:22Speaker 6: the same about. No luck. See, every time somebody gets
- 1:00:26Speaker 6: successful and envious, people go, he's so lucky. No, but
- 1:00:31Speaker 6: do you know what the definition is of luck? Luck?
- 1:00:33Speaker 6: It's with hard work bumps up into opportunity. That's how
- 1:00:38Speaker 6: people describe other people's success. Now you say he'd been
- 1:00:42Speaker 6: bad that, I call him bad look berry, because he
- 1:00:45Speaker 6: couldn't he couldn't ever catch a break. Over the years,
- 1:00:48Speaker 6: we grew fond of each other. We slowly became more
- 1:00:51Speaker 6: than friends. Here we go again with that old we
- 1:00:55Speaker 6: friends and untold y'all and told yall, Oh, don't know, body,
- 1:01:00Speaker 6: listen to uncle Steve. Here it is again. One day
- 1:01:05Speaker 6: he admitted that he's always loved me. Shut up, shut up,
- 1:01:11Speaker 6: you are lying. He did, girl, I'm so surprised. And
- 1:01:17Speaker 6: then he telled me that's why he's always taken good
- 1:01:19Speaker 6: care of me for twenty five years. Now, I want
- 1:01:22Speaker 6: you to pay pay close attention to that I couldn't
- 1:01:25Speaker 6: remember one time he took care of me, But then
- 1:01:28Speaker 6: I had flashbacks of the small but sweet things he's
- 1:01:33Speaker 6: done for me, things like coming over in the middle
- 1:01:36Speaker 6: of the night when my dishwalker dishwasher was leaking, and
- 1:01:40Speaker 6: painted my bedroom and helped me rake the leaves one
- 1:01:43Speaker 6: Sunday afternoon. But then I remember I had to pick
- 1:01:47Speaker 6: him up and take him back to his brother's house
- 1:01:50Speaker 6: after he helped me. So you had to go get
- 1:01:52Speaker 6: him so he'd come fix the dishwashing. Then you had
- 1:01:56Speaker 6: to go get him to rake the leaves. Then you
- 1:01:59Speaker 6: had to go get him to paint your bedroom. But
- 1:02:02Speaker 6: you had to take him back every time. Despite all that,
- 1:02:08Speaker 6: I failed for him. What despite all of that, I
- 1:02:14Speaker 6: fail for him? And after we made love for the
- 1:02:18Speaker 6: first time, he went from bad luck Bury to boss
- 1:02:21Speaker 6: Daddy because he put it down, well, y'allant to be
- 1:02:24Speaker 6: able to do something, he got time. He got time.
- 1:02:28Speaker 6: He ain't making no money. He ain't worry. He got
- 1:02:29Speaker 6: to be able do something. God to be able to
- 1:02:31Speaker 6: do something. He got time to focus. He ain't got
- 1:02:34Speaker 6: to stop. He ain't ay big. I gotta get up
- 1:02:36Speaker 6: out of here. I gotta go to work. He ain't
- 1:02:37Speaker 6: got to do that. That's his nickname. Now, my friend's
- 1:02:40Speaker 6: laughing at me because my man is not the boss
- 1:02:42Speaker 6: of anything. So you have told your friends about it,
- 1:02:45Speaker 6: and you call me boss daddy. He got a dead
- 1:02:48Speaker 6: enn job and he shares a car with his brother.
- 1:02:51Speaker 6: What he fifty two and he shared a car with
- 1:02:56Speaker 6: his brother.
- 1:02:57Speaker 10: All right, Steve, all right, we'll have part two of
- 1:03:03Speaker 10: your response coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: Subject.
- 1:03:07Speaker 10: He puts it down, but he's broke right after this,
- 1:03:11Speaker 10: you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:03:19Speaker 6: Hey, look, you can't let the urge to sing your
- 1:03:21Speaker 6: favorite songs while you're driving distract you from that trunk
- 1:03:25Speaker 6: drifting toward your lane or that lane splitting biker creeping
- 1:03:29Speaker 6: up beside you. Fortunately, every Honday offers advanced safety features
- 1:03:33Speaker 6: that can alert you to potential dangers around you.
- 1:03:36Speaker 7: That's right, because Hondai is always working to ensure the
- 1:03:39Speaker 7: road doesn't get you. Hondai vehicles have won over one
- 1:03:42Speaker 7: hundred and twenty IIHS Top Safety awards from two thousand
- 1:03:45Speaker 7: and six to twenty twenty four as of December twenty
- 1:03:49Speaker 7: twenty four.
- 1:03:50Speaker 10: All Right, see, let's recap today's Strawberry letter. He puts
- 1:03:53Speaker 10: it down, but he's broke.
- 1:03:55Speaker 6: Here's a lady that has been friends with this guy
- 1:03:57Speaker 6: for years, and I've told you all about the friendship.
- 1:03:59Speaker 6: He admitted that he loved her always has and told
- 1:04:03Speaker 6: her that's why I've been taking care of you for
- 1:04:05Speaker 6: twenty five years. You couldn't think of what he's ever
- 1:04:08Speaker 6: done for you to twenty five years. Then you started
- 1:04:10Speaker 6: looking back on all the small things. He came over
- 1:04:13Speaker 6: to your house and fixed your dish washing when he
- 1:04:15Speaker 6: leaked in the middle of the night. He helped you
- 1:04:17Speaker 6: paint your bedroom. He came over on Sunday and help
- 1:04:19Speaker 6: you rake leaves. But then you remembered you had to
- 1:04:22Speaker 6: go pick him up so he can come do all
- 1:04:24Speaker 6: this stuff. Then he had to take it back to
- 1:04:25Speaker 6: his brother's house. And why you have taken back to
- 1:04:27Speaker 6: his brother's house because him and his brother share a car.
- 1:04:33Speaker 6: How you share a car with somebody y'all ever had
- 1:04:35Speaker 6: that before? That's a hard thing to share a man
- 1:04:38Speaker 6: a car. Anyway, Then they finally made love and he
- 1:04:46Speaker 6: went from bad luck Berry to bouce Daddy because he
- 1:04:51Speaker 6: put it down, Well, that's good. He got to be
- 1:04:54Speaker 6: he'all to be able to do something. Hell, come on,
- 1:04:58Speaker 6: but he and the friend's lad because he ain't the
- 1:05:00Speaker 6: boss of anything because he has a dead end job.
- 1:05:03Speaker 6: And he shares a car with his brother. Now Here
- 1:05:05Speaker 6: we go, I drive everywhere we go. I slide my
- 1:05:10Speaker 6: credit card to him when we go out to eat
- 1:05:13Speaker 6: so he can pretend to pay for our meal. Then
- 1:05:15Speaker 6: she said this, look, I get it. Everyone is struggling
- 1:05:20Speaker 6: or has struggled in the past. Well, yeah, lady, that's true.
- 1:05:24Speaker 6: Everybody has struggle, and everybody has a struggle. But you
- 1:05:29Speaker 6: can't make this struggle your struggle. He fifty two. He
- 1:05:34Speaker 6: shared a car with his brother, which means he lived
- 1:05:39Speaker 6: with his brother. You got to pull your credit card out,
- 1:05:45Speaker 6: which means he don't have one. You got to drive
- 1:05:50Speaker 6: everywhere because y'all can't go everywhere because his brother got
- 1:05:53Speaker 6: the car. And I'm not really sure that they sharing
- 1:05:55Speaker 6: a car because you still ain't mentioned of him ever
- 1:05:58Speaker 6: driving anywhere. So I think it's his brother's car. And
- 1:06:03Speaker 6: he done told you he shared a car. I think
- 1:06:06Speaker 6: it's his brother's car because you have yet to hear
- 1:06:09Speaker 6: you got to drive everywhere, So when he's sharing the car.
- 1:06:12Speaker 6: He don't pick you up. That's because he don't share
- 1:06:15Speaker 6: a car. You're not listening. It's his brother's car and
- 1:06:19Speaker 6: it's his brother's house. He in worse shape than you think. Now.
- 1:06:25Speaker 6: The people around me are ambitious and hard working people.
- 1:06:28Speaker 6: I'm afraid that my man is too comfortable with his circumstance.
- 1:06:31Speaker 6: He's fifty two and I'm fifty. Should I stick with
- 1:06:34Speaker 6: him and encourage him to get a better job and
- 1:06:36Speaker 6: maybe help him buy a car? Should we go back
- 1:06:38Speaker 6: to being friends? I just let him come over more
- 1:06:40Speaker 6: often for great sakes. Wow, lady, your options ain't great.
- 1:06:45Speaker 6: Should I do this or that? I mean, you're not
- 1:06:47Speaker 6: giving me a great option to look at him? Junior,
- 1:06:50Speaker 6: Your mustache looks really thick on the zoom call today. Congratulations,
- 1:06:54Speaker 6: just thought I throw that out there. Yeah, I just
- 1:06:58Speaker 6: want to compliment anymore now. I've never seen this must
- 1:07:00Speaker 6: ask with that thick before he's maturing anyway. Yeah, we
- 1:07:08Speaker 6: all might as well stop because this that ain't going nowhere,
- 1:07:10Speaker 6: because I don't know what options you have, because your
- 1:07:14Speaker 6: option is to leave him because he's too comfortable. He's comfortable.
- 1:07:19Speaker 6: He's been this, he's fifty two, he lived with his brother.
- 1:07:23Speaker 6: And he say he share a car, but he don't
- 1:07:25Speaker 6: really share the car his brother's car. And should you
- 1:07:29Speaker 6: help him get a better job, why he don't want
- 1:07:32Speaker 6: a better job, and maybe help him buy a car. No,
- 1:07:38Speaker 6: you're gonna have to buy the car. He ain't got
- 1:07:40Speaker 6: money for food. Where you see money for a car?
- 1:07:45Speaker 6: Or should we go back to being friends? Now? How
- 1:07:49Speaker 6: do you do that? And I let him come over
- 1:07:52Speaker 6: often for great sakes, So all you're gonna do then
- 1:07:57Speaker 6: is enable him because he gonna sign a He gonna
- 1:08:01Speaker 6: sign that contract tomorrow because that's a good offer. So listen,
- 1:08:07Speaker 6: I can get with this woman, come over our house,
- 1:08:09Speaker 6: have great sex, and I ain't got to buy a car.
- 1:08:12Speaker 6: I ain't got to move out of my brother house,
- 1:08:14Speaker 6: and I ain't got to get a better Job's Jack Foughton.
- 1:08:20Speaker 6: So your idea of going back to just being friends
- 1:08:23Speaker 6: mean now you only have to drive him everywhere, but
- 1:08:27Speaker 6: you're gonna have to go pick him up for this
- 1:08:31Speaker 6: great sex and then drive him home. So I don't
- 1:08:36Speaker 6: understand the upside for you in this at all. As
- 1:08:40Speaker 6: a woman of fifty, you with the man who has
- 1:08:45Speaker 6: no upsidning. Now, look, can you build a man up, Yeah,
- 1:08:50Speaker 6: who has ambition. Can you build a man up, yes,
- 1:08:54Speaker 6: who has a plan? Yes? But if your man ain't
- 1:08:58Speaker 6: got no plan, and your man i ain't got no future,
- 1:09:03Speaker 6: what are you finna help him do?
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: And does he want this? It doesn't even seem like
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: he wants this man.
- 1:09:10Speaker 6: This dude is comfortable. Man, he is comfortable. But that's
- 1:09:15Speaker 6: what I tell people all the time. Everything you really
- 1:09:19Speaker 6: want in life is on the other side of comfortable.
- 1:09:22Speaker 6: You've got to go through discomfort to get to it,
- 1:09:27Speaker 6: and a lot of people are not willing. It's a
- 1:09:29Speaker 6: prime example of a fifty two year old man who'd
- 1:09:33Speaker 6: decided I'm living with my brother. I'm gonna tell this
- 1:09:36Speaker 6: girl I share the car. It's his brother's car. He
- 1:09:39Speaker 6: don't share nothing, because not one line in this letter
- 1:09:42Speaker 6: has he ever picked him up?
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: Right?
- 1:09:46Speaker 6: I just don't see it later. So yeah, and you
- 1:09:49Speaker 6: can let him come over and do what he want
- 1:09:50Speaker 6: to do to you. But all right.

- 1:11:24Speaker 13: Man.
- 1:11:24Speaker 6: First of all, congratulations to Cleveland. They wrapped up the
- 1:11:26Speaker 6: number one seed in the East. Cleveland Calves. I want
- 1:11:30Speaker 6: to celebrate. I'm so good though.
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: Man, they real good.
- 1:11:34Speaker 6: They're real good and Lord help?
- 1:11:36Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 1:11:36Speaker 7: Fuck?
- 1:11:37Speaker 6: Have you seen this before?
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: This has happened before?
- 1:11:40Speaker 6: Uh uh no, they ain't ever happened before.
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: Now y'all got the number one seeds?
- 1:11:46Speaker 6: Man, congratulations.
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: Also, did y'all see this?
- 1:11:50Speaker 7: Man?
- 1:11:50Speaker 6: What happened that the dinner Nuggets fire? They head coach
- 1:11:52Speaker 6: Michael Malone?
- 1:11:54Speaker 5: What why.
- 1:11:56Speaker 6: He just won a championship two years ago?
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: They didn't find you know, the players, well he said,
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: the players are full of crap. Oh that's what he
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: said after he got fi Because you're trying.
- 1:12:09Speaker 6: To figure out, like they fifth in the fifth in
- 1:12:11Speaker 6: the West. They got a record of forty seven and
- 1:12:13Speaker 6: thirty two.
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: They in the playoffs.
- 1:12:15Speaker 6: It's like you, why would you go, Junior? We really
- 1:12:18Speaker 6: don't care what happened in Denver. We really don't. We
- 1:12:22Speaker 6: care about Houston years. We don't They find jokes that
- 1:12:28Speaker 6: they want you all night. We don't really care.
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: Not your guy playing, he means him Junior, he means him.
- 1:12:37Speaker 6: Yeah, here we go. Also, man, let's talk about this coach.
- 1:12:41Speaker 8: Prime feels like Sador Sanders and Travis Hunter should go
- 1:12:44Speaker 8: one and two. But another issue is some of them,
- 1:12:46Speaker 8: some of these teams feel like Prime is too much
- 1:12:49Speaker 8: in the process. Do we have a problem with Prime
- 1:12:51Speaker 8: want his son the best for his son? No, because
- 1:12:54Speaker 8: that's so crazy to sit up here and say that.
- 1:12:56Speaker 8: You know, he's too much in the process of his
- 1:12:58Speaker 8: son getting raped.
- 1:12:59Speaker 6: Hey, when the Peyton was going through this, Peyton Manning
- 1:13:02Speaker 6: and all them, ain't nobody say nothing. No man, no,
- 1:13:06Speaker 6: you get involved. You they father Archie man and played
- 1:13:09Speaker 6: the game. He told Eli he wasn't going over there
- 1:13:12Speaker 6: because they was gonna just beat him up. He didn't
- 1:13:14Speaker 6: go over there, and he worked out something else. Prime.
- 1:13:16Speaker 6: Prime hadn't been in the game. You ain't gonna take
- 1:13:18Speaker 6: your son and mess up eight years of his career.
- 1:13:21Speaker 6: That's what happens. Every time we do something for our kids.
- 1:13:24Speaker 6: It's a problem the Prime do something. Jered Buss's daughter
- 1:13:27Speaker 6: run the Lakers. What you know about basketball? Jerry Jones
- 1:13:32Speaker 6: kids in charge of the Dallas Cowboys down't even draft
- 1:13:35Speaker 6: free agent. What they know.
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: Man stopped in the moment.
- 1:13:38Speaker 6: We do something with our kids. It's a problem that
- 1:13:40Speaker 6: part prime doing what he supposed to do. He parented.
- 1:13:44Speaker 10: Thank you, Junior. Now that we notice a new mustache,
- 1:13:47Speaker 10: we like it all right. Coming up at the top
- 1:13:49Speaker 10: of the hour, young man on social media needs some advice.
- 1:13:53Speaker 6: Tommy is a head up.
- 1:13:58Speaker 9: Up.
- 1:14:01Speaker 10: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve,
- 1:14:05Speaker 10: This is from Marva on Reddit. Marva says, at the
- 1:14:09Speaker 10: very beginning of our relationship, before things were serious, I
- 1:14:12Speaker 10: cheated on my boyfriend with my ex. We've been together
- 1:14:16Speaker 10: for five years and now we're talking about getting married,
- 1:14:20Speaker 10: but I still carry the guilt like it happened yesterday.
- 1:14:24Speaker 10: He has no idea, and part of me wants to
- 1:14:27Speaker 10: come clean before we take that next step, but I'm
- 1:14:30Speaker 10: terrified it'll destroy everything. Is honesty still the right thing?
- 1:14:35Speaker 10: This far down the line? Is it selfish of me
- 1:14:39Speaker 10: to want to clear my conscience at the cost of
- 1:14:42Speaker 10: our relationship?
- 1:14:44Speaker 6: Who are you? Asked? She asking me, Yeah, go ahead,
- 1:14:49Speaker 6: She give me the quote she said.
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: It is honesty still the right thing this far the line. Yeah,
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: little girl.
- 1:15:04Speaker 6: Tell me the lines she said again about clearing my
- 1:15:06Speaker 6: conscience because I want.
- 1:15:07Speaker 10: To help he is it selfish of me to want
- 1:15:10Speaker 10: to clear my conscience at the cost of our relationship.
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: No, listen, he wants to get it off her.
- 1:15:16Speaker 6: Listen to me. Clear your conscience with God.
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 1:15:21Speaker 6: Go to God. God has grace. All of us make mistakes.
- 1:15:29Speaker 6: If you make a mistake and God don't bust you
- 1:15:32Speaker 6: on that mistake, that's because He's given you an opportunity
- 1:15:35Speaker 6: to learn something, ask God forgiveness and move on. Don't
- 1:15:42Speaker 6: take this in here to this man. He not gonna
- 1:15:44Speaker 6: marry you. Do not take this in here to this man.
- 1:15:47Speaker 6: He not gonna marry you. And stop all this guilt stuff,
- 1:15:51Speaker 6: y'all trip it. Take this to God. Tell God. Listen
- 1:15:56Speaker 6: to me. All of us have done something and go
- 1:16:00Speaker 6: away with it. To the person, we did it too,
- 1:16:05Speaker 6: But you paid in another way. See it is. It
- 1:16:13Speaker 6: don't always work tit for tat. That ain't how it work.
- 1:16:17Speaker 6: But you gonna pay. There's a price for doing wrong,
- 1:16:22Speaker 6: but it's not always tit for tat. It's just like blessings.
- 1:16:27Speaker 6: Blessings come in a different form. You may help somebody
- 1:16:31Speaker 6: You may stop on the side of the road help
- 1:16:33Speaker 6: or help a lady with her call. But the blessing
- 1:16:36Speaker 6: you get may not be somebody stopping on the side
- 1:16:38Speaker 6: of road helping you with your car. Maybe your car
- 1:16:40Speaker 6: don't break down. Maybe the blessing comes in form off,
- 1:16:43Speaker 6: you get a break with your health, something like that.
- 1:16:45Speaker 6: That's how it works. Ask God for forgiveness, tell God
- 1:16:49Speaker 6: to work it out, and work it out with him,
- 1:16:52Speaker 6: and then don't do it again.
- 1:16:53Speaker 7: You made the mistake, and tell your conscience to shut up.
- 1:16:57Speaker 7: If you've a children, real.
- 1:17:01Speaker 6: Conscious that guilt. I don't even let my consci they
- 1:17:09Speaker 6: got nothing to do with you. Yeah for real, Yeah you.
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: Know you're real that that guilt thing. Yeah, you're right.
- 1:17:18Speaker 6: We'll not married. He not gonna marry you later. Keep
- 1:17:22Speaker 6: your mouth closed. Take that to your grave. You learned
- 1:17:25Speaker 6: a lesson. It's called grace. God didn't let you get busted.
- 1:17:29Speaker 6: That's called grace.
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: Take that, Take advantage of them, and give yourself some grace.
- 1:17:34Speaker 6: Everybody make mistakes. I bet your boyfriend had done something
- 1:17:37Speaker 6: you don't know nothing about.
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: Oh nothing, You go right there, that's hard, that's it, right.
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: We have time for another one. See this is from Tierra.
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: On Steve Harvey f M.
- 1:17:50Speaker 10: She says, most of my friends are guys, and while
- 1:17:52Speaker 10: I'm genuinely, while I genuinely enjoy your company, it's become
- 1:17:56Speaker 10: painfully obvious that nearly all of them.
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: Are hoping for more.
- 1:17:59Speaker 10: I've try if i'd setting boundaries, but the flirting never
- 1:18:02Speaker 10: really stops. And honestly, sometimes I like the attention even
- 1:18:07Speaker 10: though I don't want anything to happen, but they still
- 1:18:10Speaker 10: stick around. If I told them the door is closed
- 1:18:13Speaker 10: for good? Or have I been lying to myself about
- 1:18:15Speaker 10: what these friendships really are?
- 1:18:19Speaker 6: What did you think about us that make us really
- 1:18:22Speaker 6: want to be your friend? Gotta be kidding me. Stop,
- 1:18:27Speaker 6: I'm not answering this question.
- 1:18:28Speaker 17: No mode, no Steve. Everybody has heard the way you feel. Yeah,
- 1:18:33Speaker 17: help he she knowed, I answer, Okay, all right?
- 1:18:38Speaker 10: Coming up in twenty minutes after the hour, we'll have

- 1:18:48Speaker 10: Steve Harvey Morning Show. More weird animal news. Police in
- 1:18:56Speaker 10: Nevada rated a home near Las Vegas on Wednesday. They
- 1:19:00Speaker 10: sees seven tigers. Seven tigers that the homeowner claimed were
- 1:19:05Speaker 10: this is the part right here.
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: Yeah, they seize them. They came and took them.
- 1:19:12Speaker 10: The homeowner claimed though, that they were emotional support cat.
- 1:19:16Speaker 10: His name is Carl Mitchell. He said that six of
- 1:19:19Speaker 10: the tigers were given to him by Joe Exotic. Remember
- 1:19:22Speaker 10: Joe Exotic, the star of Tiger King.
- 1:19:24Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 1:19:25Speaker 10: He claims he wasn't required to have a special permit
- 1:19:28Speaker 10: because he was allowed to keep them as emotional support pets.
- 1:19:32Speaker 10: Neighbors told police they would sometimes see him out on
- 1:19:35Speaker 10: walks with the large cats and they would be not
- 1:19:38Speaker 10: on a leash. Police had the tigers transported to an.
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: Police had.
- 1:19:45Speaker 6: This is a white you know it is.
- 1:19:48Speaker 10: Police had the tigers transported to an out of state
- 1:19:51Speaker 10: animal sanctuary.
- 1:19:53Speaker 6: If I go to work that day as a police
- 1:19:57Speaker 6: and they say, hey, man, we got a call. Yeah,
- 1:20:00Speaker 6: some animals at the house. And when I get to
- 1:20:02Speaker 6: the house, I discover it's a time. If I look
- 1:20:07Speaker 6: through the window, I go right back and get in
- 1:20:10Speaker 6: my car. I'm calling swat atl Dea and anybody else
- 1:20:17Speaker 6: would have bree Jays with writing on it. Yeah, I'm
- 1:20:22Speaker 6: calling everybody. But we ain't finna do. Officer Harvey not

- 1:21:37Speaker 6: What's wrong with bunny. I'm gonna get them bunny teeth
- 1:21:39Speaker 6: and then and then get the rest of them capped
- 1:21:41Speaker 6: to match. You just have a mouth full of.
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: Steve got a oba.
- 1:21:46Speaker 10: Bite across bight, Tommy, bunny ears or bunny teeth, I'm.

- 1:21:58Speaker 7: going with the ear, all right.
- 1:22:00Speaker 10: Would you rather be responsible for decorating the Easter eggs
- 1:22:04Speaker 10: or hiding the Easter eggs for the hunt?
- 1:22:07Speaker 6: I really had them because I'm just gonna blow him
- 1:22:09Speaker 6: in the woods. Well I really have I ain't gonna
- 1:22:13Speaker 6: sit there and painting the wig. I did it one
- 1:22:16Speaker 6: for the church. Him in my car?
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: Well, you left egg the eggs?
- 1:22:22Speaker 6: Yeah, I just left him in the car because I
- 1:22:24Speaker 6: want you feel like hiding.
- 1:22:27Speaker 3: Hit him.
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: These kids can't find it.
- 1:22:30Speaker 6: He ain't finding me.
- 1:22:32Speaker 3: They're in your car.
- 1:22:34Speaker 6: I ain't feel like hiding. I just left him in
- 1:22:37Speaker 6: the car.
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: Oh man, son of babies. One looking for the eggs
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: and you had him in your car.
- 1:22:42Speaker 6: Now that's a good hunt.
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: Because they'll never find them because I put some monia.
- 1:22:51Speaker 6: That's terrible.
- 1:22:52Speaker 10: Would you rather stay in the job you have now?
- 1:22:55Speaker 10: Or would you rather change careers every three years?
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: That's a good one.
- 1:23:00Speaker 6: No staying in this job right here?
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: Yeah, change careers every three years, something different. There can't
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: be no plumber man.
- 1:23:09Speaker 10: No.
- 1:23:12Speaker 6: Electrician. I'm electricians.
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: I kick you. They make money though, Yeah, plumbers too well, Steve, Steve,
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: I'm nothing to be none of that.
- 1:23:25Speaker 6: I've been there. I worked it for a mother company.
- 1:23:31Speaker 6: Made good money too, uh huh. It wasn't his money though.
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: So they're going to send the job you have now? Okay,
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: I can't go back.
- 1:23:42Speaker 6: Okay.
- 1:23:43Speaker 10: Would you rather win three million dollars tomorrow or would
- 1:23:47Speaker 10: you rather win two hundred million dollars in ten years?
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:23:56Speaker 6: Three?
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: Three million tomorrow tomorrow?
- 1:24:00Speaker 10: Three Steve, two eight years, two hundred and ten years
- 1:24:06Speaker 10: or three tomorrow?
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: Which one?
- 1:24:08Speaker 6: I'm gonna wait on that. Two hundred.
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: Seventy eight.
- 1:24:12Speaker 6: You're sixty eight now. I'm planning on being here anyway.
- 1:24:15Speaker 6: It's gonna be nice. I'm looking at that as my
- 1:24:19Speaker 6: retirement money.
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: So yes, today's round.
- 1:24:23Speaker 6: The lord.
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: If I'm making Oh, thank you, we'll close out the
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: show for the very rich. Seve, y'all, don't blow that three.
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you that right now, you're listening to
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:24:40Speaker 6: Look, you can't let the urge to sing your favorite
- 1:24:43Speaker 6: songs while you're driving distract you from that truck drifting
- 1:24:47Speaker 6: toward your lane or that lane splitting biker creeping up
- 1:24:51Speaker 6: beside you. Fortunately, every Honday offers advanced safety features that
- 1:24:55Speaker 6: can alert you to potential dangers around you.
- 1:24:58Speaker 7: That's right, because Hyndai is always working to ensure the
- 1:25:00Speaker 7: road doesn't get you. HONDEI vehicles have one over one
- 1:25:03Speaker 7: hundred and twenty IIATE just Top Safety awards from two
- 1:25:07Speaker 7: thousand and six to twenty twenty four as of December
- 1:25:10Speaker 7: twenty twenty four.
- 1:25:11Speaker 10: All right, guys, here we are last break of the
- 1:25:14Speaker 10: day on this Thursday. And Steve, before we get out
- 1:25:17Speaker 10: of here, we had another phone call for you. It's
- 1:25:20Speaker 10: from Lennee out of North Carolina. She left a message
- 1:25:22Speaker 10: about raising daughters.
- 1:25:24Speaker 16: Hello, Steve, my name is Linee and I'm in North Carolina.
- 1:25:30Speaker 14: I want to say that I thank you for being.
- 1:25:32Speaker 12: The father that you are for your girl. When I
- 1:25:35Speaker 12: listen to you say tell. The advice that you give
- 1:25:38Speaker 12: your goals and motivates me, especially as a single mother.
- 1:25:43Speaker 12: Trying to take care of my daughter by myself. It
- 1:25:48Speaker 12: gets really hard, especially with her dad.
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: Being only ten minutes.
- 1:25:52Speaker 11: Away, and don't do anything.
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: But I just want to thank you for.
- 1:25:56Speaker 12: The advice that you give your girls, because when you
- 1:25:59Speaker 12: speak on the.
- 1:25:59Speaker 11: Vice is actually helping myself and I'm.
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: Sure other females as well.
- 1:26:05Speaker 6: Thank you and you have a good day.
- 1:26:08Speaker 16: God bless you well.
- 1:26:10Speaker 6: I would like to say, first of all, to single
- 1:26:12Speaker 6: mothers who have daughters, I don't think anybody can do
- 1:26:17Speaker 6: a better job of raising those girls that a woman can,
- 1:26:21Speaker 6: because women know all the intricacies of being female. So
- 1:26:29Speaker 6: being a father of daughters is very helpful, and that
- 1:26:33Speaker 6: I can teach my daughters the male viewpoint so that
- 1:26:37Speaker 6: they are aware of how men think. But I in
- 1:26:41Speaker 6: no way am better at it than their mother, because
- 1:26:45Speaker 6: their mother can advise them on every level of being
- 1:26:49Speaker 6: a woman and a girl and I can't. So I
- 1:26:52Speaker 6: appreciate what you're saying, but I have their ability to
- 1:26:58Speaker 6: teach my daughters the male view which I try to
- 1:27:01Speaker 6: get now, listen to me. They have to do it
- 1:27:04Speaker 6: on their own and they have to learn from their mistakes.
- 1:27:07Speaker 6: Your children are not gonna be mistake free. You can
- 1:27:11Speaker 6: tell them all you want. At one point in time,
- 1:27:14Speaker 6: they're gonna do something so counter to everything you've ever
- 1:27:18Speaker 6: taught them, because that's what they're going to do. That's
- 1:27:21Speaker 6: what I did. I made mistake after mistake after mistake,
- 1:27:25Speaker 6: even after my father told me, because that's the only
- 1:27:29Speaker 6: way you learn. You learn through trial and error, and
- 1:27:32Speaker 6: you're gonna make mistakes. So single mothers out there, please
- 1:27:36Speaker 6: don't beat yourself up because you're doing a wonderful job.
- 1:27:39Speaker 6: You are doing a wonderful job, and there are single
- 1:27:42Speaker 6: mothers out there as such a thankless job of being
- 1:27:45Speaker 6: a single parent because you don't get the real benefit
- 1:27:48Speaker 6: until they're grown. You know, every now and then your
- 1:27:51Speaker 6: child will say thank you for something. But the sad
- 1:27:54Speaker 6: thing about being a parent is they really not gonna
- 1:27:58Speaker 6: get the true real value of who you are and
- 1:28:00Speaker 6: what you did until they're full grown. Like it's rewarding
- 1:28:04Speaker 6: for me now to hear my son say stuff that
- 1:28:07Speaker 6: I talked to them about. You know, I'll be listening
- 1:28:10Speaker 6: to him talk to each other, and I like, one
- 1:28:13Speaker 6: time I was listening to my boys talk to each
- 1:28:14Speaker 6: other and they say, hey, man, hold on, hold on,
- 1:28:16Speaker 6: remember what Dad told us now, and I'll be sitting
- 1:28:20Speaker 6: there going wild. It clicked. My son went and texted
- 1:28:24Speaker 6: me the other day he said, Dad, I just won't
- 1:28:25Speaker 6: say thanks man. Thanks. My son, my oldest son told
- 1:28:29Speaker 6: me just yesterday we were on the job because he
- 1:28:32Speaker 6: works for me. We were on the job and this
- 1:28:34Speaker 6: other guy constantly does stuff that's just uh, you could
- 1:28:40Speaker 6: see he was raised different. Let's just say that. And
- 1:28:43Speaker 6: it was another incident that happened and he had a
- 1:28:47Speaker 6: reaction to it that I would not have had. And
- 1:28:51Speaker 6: me and my son was getting on the elevator to
- 1:28:53Speaker 6: go down and he say, hey, Dad, I just won't
- 1:28:56Speaker 6: say thanks man. I said, what's up, son? He said, no, man,
- 1:28:59Speaker 6: just think for raising me the way you raise me,
- 1:29:03Speaker 6: because I see what happens when you don't have that
- 1:29:05Speaker 6: in your life. And so it's rewarding of that. But
- 1:29:09Speaker 6: for you single parents out there, understand this. You're not
- 1:29:13Speaker 6: gonna get full credit until they get good and grown,
- 1:29:15Speaker 6: until sometimes till they get their own Sometimes you gotta
- 1:29:20Speaker 6: have children to really get what your parents were saying
- 1:29:23Speaker 6: to you. But you're gonna get it though, So hanging down,
- 1:29:26Speaker 6: single parents, you're doing a wonderful job. I know it's
- 1:29:28Speaker 6: thankless sometimes, but you're doing a wonderful job. It's like
- 1:29:32Speaker 6: I have to talk to the mothers who bring their
- 1:29:33Speaker 6: boys to my camp, because my campus for young boys
- 1:29:37Speaker 6: from homes headed up by women. And it's so hard
- 1:29:41Speaker 6: because these boys miss their father. And we have a
- 1:29:45Speaker 6: moment at the ranch where we write down on a
- 1:29:47Speaker 6: piece of paper how you feel about your father. And
- 1:29:50Speaker 6: it's so much negative stuff that these kids is feeling
- 1:29:53Speaker 6: because this man is been absent. Thedn't come see them
- 1:29:56Speaker 6: at the game, don't send them nothing for Christmas, don't
- 1:29:59Speaker 6: wish them happy birthday. Man, these boys, it's just like wow,
- 1:30:03Speaker 6: you know, parents stay at school, he don't show up,
- 1:30:06Speaker 6: you know all of this stuff, man, And I just
- 1:30:09Speaker 6: feel so bad for these boys. And the mothers cry
- 1:30:14Speaker 6: like this. One lady told me, she says, Steve, I
- 1:30:16Speaker 6: just cry all the time because I picked his father
- 1:30:22Speaker 6: and he turned out not to be nothing. I tell
- 1:30:24Speaker 6: these women, that's not your fault. That's not your fault.
- 1:30:28Speaker 6: Everybody make mistakes, but you can't make a man be
- 1:30:31Speaker 6: a man. You that's you know, we all get duped
- 1:30:35Speaker 6: at one point in time or another. So it as
- 1:30:38Speaker 6: as it's it's so many Oh what am I trying
- 1:30:42Speaker 6: to say? It's so many variables. It's so many variables
- 1:30:46Speaker 6: in this thing called parenting. Understand that stay focused, stay
- 1:30:52Speaker 6: true to the course, because you have no idea who
- 1:30:55Speaker 6: you gave birth to. I'm pretty sure Barack Obama's mama
- 1:30:59Speaker 6: has some regrets, that's about meeting her husband. But little
- 1:31:02Speaker 6: did they know that one day, this child, through this union,
- 1:31:07Speaker 6: had given birth to the first African American to become
- 1:31:10Speaker 6: President of the United States. And you don't know who
- 1:31:13Speaker 6: you're giving birth to. And I'm not saying I'm all that,
- 1:31:16Speaker 6: but my mom and daddy had me late in life.
- 1:31:18Speaker 6: My mama had me when she was forty two years old,
- 1:31:21Speaker 6: and my father used to tell me all the time,
- 1:31:23Speaker 6: I don't know why you standing here talking to me.
- 1:31:25Speaker 6: You ain't even supposed to be here. And that was
- 1:31:28Speaker 6: our little running gag all the way till he died.
- 1:31:31Speaker 6: But you know what they was ended up being proud
- 1:31:33Speaker 6: because they didn't know that the youngest of five was
- 1:31:36Speaker 6: gonna turn out to be who I was. And I'm
- 1:31:38Speaker 6: not saying that in a bragging way, but you just
- 1:31:40Speaker 6: don't know who you've given birth to, So keep your
- 1:31:43Speaker 6: head up. You gonna be just fine. Y'all. Have a
- 1:31:46Speaker 6: great one today. Talk to God today. He would absolutely
- 1:31:48Speaker 6: love to hear from you.
