- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all back a suit, looking back to back down,
- 0:13Speaker 1: giving them like a million bucks bus things and it's
- 0:19Speaker 1: not good. Steve has to stay. Don't join Jo. You
- 0:59Speaker 1: gotta use that turn ver. You gotta turn to turn
- 1:41Speaker 1: them out. Turn got to turn them out, to turn
- 1:46Speaker 1: turn the water the water. Come, come on your bad
- 2:01Speaker 1: uh huh, I show will good morning everybody you're listening
- 2:06Speaker 1: to the voice, Come on dig me now, one and
- 2:09Speaker 1: only Steve Harvey got this radio show. Man, Hi got here.
- 2:17Speaker 1: I really can't explain it. Only by the grace of God,
- 2:20Speaker 1: that's all I can really tell you. I was talking
- 2:26Speaker 1: with a buddy the other day and he was telling me.
- 2:28Speaker 1: He said, Man, he had an interesting philosophy about it.
- 2:32Speaker 1: He said. You know, you can have dreams and visions.
- 2:34Speaker 1: He say, but God, God will never show you what
- 2:40Speaker 1: all he has for you. He won't show you all
- 2:44Speaker 1: of it because he knows you will mess it up.
- 2:49Speaker 1: And you know what, man, I thought about that, And
- 2:52Speaker 1: how true is that? Okay? I know that I got
- 2:57Speaker 1: a radio show. I didn't see it. It's just become
- 3:02Speaker 1: this major blessing for me. I didn't see it. But
- 3:06Speaker 1: if I would have seen it and known when he
- 3:09Speaker 1: had planned on giving it to me, I would have
- 3:12Speaker 1: messed it up because Number one, my first question would
- 3:15Speaker 1: have been to him, why I got to wait so long?
- 3:20Speaker 1: Why don't I go down hill and start on the
- 3:23Speaker 1: radio now? And then I be in radio and then
- 3:27Speaker 1: tidy see that God? But see the thing about God
- 3:31Speaker 1: is God don't need your help a matter of fact,
- 3:34Speaker 1: that he don't really want it. All he want is
- 3:37Speaker 1: you to love him and obey him. If you can
- 3:40Speaker 1: do them two things I think. I think I could
- 3:42Speaker 1: be wrong. I think he'd be really cool with us.
- 3:46Speaker 1: So had I known about these blessings that he had
- 3:51Speaker 1: for me, I would have messed him up because I
- 3:53Speaker 1: would have put my thinking in the figuring process, and
- 3:56Speaker 1: that would have jacked it all up. That's the first
- 3:59Speaker 1: thing I asked him, Why I gotta wait so long?
- 4:02Speaker 1: And then if he has shown me what I was
- 4:04Speaker 1: gonna have to do to get it, I would have
- 4:07Speaker 1: showed messed that up. Man, I ain't gonna do that.
- 4:10Speaker 1: I ain't even to do all of that. Wait a minute,
- 4:13Speaker 1: I got to go through all of these mishaps in
- 4:15Speaker 1: my life so when I get the radio show, I
- 4:18Speaker 1: have something to share. Man, why don't I just read
- 4:23Speaker 1: a couple of books and share that experience with them? Now, See,
- 4:27Speaker 1: I want you to know what you're talking about. I
- 4:30Speaker 1: want you to be transparent. I want people to be
- 4:34Speaker 1: able to identify with your struggle and apply they struggle
- 4:37Speaker 1: to it and see that they can get over. See.
- 4:40Speaker 1: God never shows you all of it because he know
- 4:43Speaker 1: will mess it up. I wouldn't have any books. I
- 4:48Speaker 1: certainly please know, I would not be the host of
- 4:50Speaker 1: Family Field. Can't tell you that. It is amazing man,
- 4:56Speaker 1: how God works. And my invitation to everybody today is
- 5:00Speaker 1: allow God to work. You know, you can ask him
- 5:04Speaker 1: why all you want to. And from time to time
- 5:06Speaker 1: I still do no good for me, But that old
- 5:09Speaker 1: why me, old woe is me? Lord? Thing that don't
- 5:12Speaker 1: really get it for me, because when I start asking
- 5:15Speaker 1: him why, I'm asking somebody who has a thought process
- 5:18Speaker 1: so high above mine that there's no way if he
- 5:21Speaker 1: told it to me, I wouldn't even get it. You
- 5:24Speaker 1: wouldn't need I don't how bright you think you are, man,
- 5:26Speaker 1: you just ain't gonna get how and why he does
- 5:29Speaker 1: it his way. You're not going to understand it. But
- 5:32Speaker 1: he has a plan for each and every one of us.
- 5:35Speaker 1: And if we adhere to the plan, if we submit
- 5:38Speaker 1: ourselves to his will and just say, Okay, God, what
- 5:41Speaker 1: you want me to do, I am telling you it
- 5:43Speaker 1: is the best way to live. Now. You can also
- 5:47Speaker 1: do it the way I did it early on. You
- 5:50Speaker 1: can just do what you want to do and see
- 5:52Speaker 1: how I go from now. And I will tell you
- 5:55Speaker 1: from personal experience, it's not going to go good. You know,
- 6:00Speaker 1: my wife and I were talking the other day. As
- 6:03Speaker 1: she said something women, I had to write it down.
- 6:06Speaker 1: She says, Steve, you know the funny thing about sin?
- 6:09Speaker 1: She says, sin calls you more than you want to
- 6:12Speaker 1: pay and causes you to stay longer than you want
- 6:15Speaker 1: to stay. I ask my wife where she got it from.
- 6:21Speaker 1: She says, some old person told it to it. She says,
- 6:24Speaker 1: sin casts you more than you want to pay and
- 6:27Speaker 1: causes you to stay longer than you want to stay.
- 6:30Speaker 1: That's the problem, man, about doing what you want to do.
- 6:33Speaker 1: Because we are all sinners. Man, all of us, all
- 6:36Speaker 1: of us, every last one of us are sinners. You
- 6:38Speaker 1: will be a sinner until you die. Now you could
- 6:41Speaker 1: be saved by grace. But you're going to be a
- 6:44Speaker 1: sinner man. You are going to make mistakes. You are
- 6:48Speaker 1: going to in your life knowingly do wrong. I bet
- 6:53Speaker 1: you will. I don't know who you think you are.
- 6:55Speaker 1: I don't know who you've been listening to. But get this,
- 6:58Speaker 1: we are sinners. We were born into a world that
- 7:03Speaker 1: is sinful. Now it's okay, it's okay, it's our world.
- 7:08Speaker 1: But we can make the best of it because we
- 7:10Speaker 1: can form a relationship with God and we can go
- 7:13Speaker 1: to war with this thing, you know, and we can win.
- 7:16Speaker 1: You can actually get over. Being born into this world
- 7:21Speaker 1: is not an end all. That doesn't mean you're doomed,
- 7:24Speaker 1: nah man, because God is available to give you life,
- 7:28Speaker 1: and not only give you life, but give it to
- 7:30Speaker 1: you more abundantly. I have more of an abundant life
- 7:34Speaker 1: than I've ever had. If you took away the finances,
- 7:38Speaker 1: trust and believe, I have so many things I could
- 7:41Speaker 1: tell you that I'm grateful for. For my wife, for
- 7:45Speaker 1: my children, man, for my family, for the few friends
- 7:50Speaker 1: that I have, for the work that I do, man
- 7:55Speaker 1: for the respect that some people that I feel around
- 7:58Speaker 1: some people from the computation I've earned. Now I ain't
- 8:02Speaker 1: cool with everybody. I got that. I'm cool. I ain't
- 8:05Speaker 1: cool with everybody. Everybody ain't cool with me. Everybody don't
- 8:08Speaker 1: like me. Man, get past that right there. I don't
- 8:12Speaker 1: care what you do. Everybody ain't gonna like you. Some
- 8:14Speaker 1: people didn't like Jesus. What did he do? What did
- 8:18Speaker 1: he do wrong to anybody? Show it to me where
- 8:24Speaker 1: he was just out there, just messing over folks, and
- 8:27Speaker 1: you could justify all that happened to him. Just show
- 8:30Speaker 1: it to me. But he knew everybody ain't gonna like me.
- 8:35Speaker 1: I just come to save y'all. You understand, I got you.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Ain't feeling me. You're gonna spit on me. You're gonna
- 8:41Speaker 1: hang me up there, You're gonna pierce my side. You're
- 8:43Speaker 1: gonna do all that to me. When you get through,
- 8:46Speaker 1: I still love you. That's that's a powerful statement. Man,
- 8:49Speaker 1: God will take care of you if you form this
- 8:52Speaker 1: relationship with him. He has something for you. He has
- 8:57Speaker 1: a plan for you that is beyond your man nation.
- 9:00Speaker 1: He will give you the desires of your heart. But
- 9:03Speaker 1: he also has some stuff in store for you that
- 9:06Speaker 1: you're not even asking for. That he is willing to
- 9:09Speaker 1: ship to an address that belongs to you. As long
- 9:14Speaker 1: as you stay on the right path and are trying
- 9:18Speaker 1: your best, God to ship you to blessing anywhere. Because
- 9:21Speaker 1: please know He's done it to me. I'm a living
- 9:23Speaker 1: witness to this that God will ship you blessings and
- 9:26Speaker 1: you ain't gonna be perfect. But if he know your heart, man,
- 9:29Speaker 1: if he know you trying to do better, if he
- 9:32Speaker 1: see you trying to change, if he see you trying
- 9:35Speaker 1: to get it right, he understands that you're gonna stumble
- 9:38Speaker 1: all the way through this thing. But if he know
- 9:41Speaker 1: your heart and he know you trying to get it right,
- 9:45Speaker 1: and you're doing the best you can, boy, here ships
- 9:47Speaker 1: some stuff your way. Man, you really be tripping, man,

- 11:28Speaker 1: but all of when he came up with women, he

- 12:40Speaker 1: with them, because you must have some bad times to
- 12:45Speaker 1: truly appreciate the good times. And if you are man
- 12:50Speaker 1: worth your salt, what you try to do is not
- 12:53Speaker 1: bring on any of the bad times your damn self.
- 12:59Speaker 1: There's no need of trying to create the avid flows.

- 21:37Speaker 1: the hour, But right now it's time for ask the clo. Well,

- 21:46Speaker 1: fifty year old grandmother and I want my son's baby's
- 21:50Speaker 1: mom out of my house. She had the baby back
- 21:52Speaker 1: in November and my son broke up with her in January.
- 21:55Speaker 1: I don't want to be in their mess, but I
- 21:57Speaker 1: want the best for my grandchild. What i'd be wrong
- 22:00Speaker 1: to let the baby stay put the mama out of
- 22:02Speaker 1: my house? Well, how do you think that's gonna work? Yea,
- 22:08Speaker 1: how in the world do you think that's gonna work.
- 22:12Speaker 1: You won't put the mama Outlook, the baby's day. So
- 22:15Speaker 1: the mother who was a good mother, you take her
- 22:19Speaker 1: baby from her? Lady Stop Stop, that's that's an ignorant ask.
- 22:26Speaker 1: Are you kidding me? You can't do that? Next question? Shure?
- 22:30Speaker 1: All right, Moving on to Angel and West Hollywood Angel writes,
- 22:34Speaker 1: some in my early thirties, and I'm dating a guy
- 22:36Speaker 1: that's friends with my ex. I had no idea that
- 22:39Speaker 1: he was friends with my ex. But when I found out,
- 22:41Speaker 1: we talked about it and my guy is fine with it.
- 22:44Speaker 1: My ex and other friends say I'm wrong. How is
- 22:47Speaker 1: this so? Well, if you didn't know, you didn't know.
- 22:53Speaker 1: That's that's plain and simple. Now you talk to your
- 22:57Speaker 1: guy about it and he cooled with it. Now do
- 22:59Speaker 1: you want to break up with the guy? Is it
- 23:01Speaker 1: going well? You know, everybody say you're wrong. If you knew, well,
- 23:07Speaker 1: you know that's different. But you're doing it now, So
- 23:10Speaker 1: I mean, you're not wrong if you didn't know. Now,
- 23:14Speaker 1: is it hard to believe that you didn't know, Yeah,
- 23:17Speaker 1: of course it is. But that's highly possible that you
- 23:22Speaker 1: didn't know. But what your friends has passing judgment on
- 23:25Speaker 1: is the fact that now that you do know, what
- 23:29Speaker 1: you're gonna do about it? And what are you supposed
- 23:31Speaker 1: to do about it? Yeah? I mean, I don't you
- 23:39Speaker 1: know if he don't have a problem with it? And
- 23:42Speaker 1: she said they talked about it and he's fine with it.
- 23:44Speaker 1: So it's it's the X and the other friends that
- 23:48Speaker 1: are happy issues, all right? Moving on Cello to Regina
- 23:55Speaker 1: is Yeah, they're the haters Regina. In the DMV, he says,
- 24:00Speaker 1: I'm dating a guy that's allergic to pet dander, so
- 24:04Speaker 1: he takes allergy medication pet Dandrew h So he takes
- 24:09Speaker 1: allergy medication when he stays at her house. At my house,
- 24:14Speaker 1: I wanted to see where this relationship is going. But
- 24:16Speaker 1: I don't want to have to leave my cat at
- 24:18Speaker 1: my grandmother's home. What would you advise? I don't want
- 24:23Speaker 1: to hear this not a cat? What from Regina? I
- 24:28Speaker 1: gotta take appel come over your house because you won't
- 24:33Speaker 1: put your cat at your grandma. Well, this ain't going nowhere.
- 24:39Speaker 1: They're just this relationship. You was gonna wait and see
- 24:42Speaker 1: where it's going. Well, you you're gonna give up a
- 24:45Speaker 1: potentially great guy for a great cat. People do that
- 24:49Speaker 1: every day for those cats, for their pets. All cats
- 24:53Speaker 1: is off? What well? I mean, I mean you know
- 24:59Speaker 1: you can do that, but you're sitting up in here.
- 25:02Speaker 1: I mean, if this is a great guy, then you
- 25:06Speaker 1: have a choice. To me. Yeah, you guys even willing
- 25:09Speaker 1: to take allergy medicine to deal with your cat. So
- 25:16Speaker 1: she should make the next move and just leave her
- 25:18Speaker 1: cat at the grandmother's house for one. I mean, if
- 25:23Speaker 1: he's coming over, but me, that's that's see me, I'm different.
- 25:27Speaker 1: Don't ask me because I'm gonna get in a lot
- 25:29Speaker 1: of trouble because it can't got the come period. Cat period.
- 25:36Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you right now, if I get involved
- 25:38Speaker 1: with you and I start paying this rent, the cat gone,
- 25:44Speaker 1: would it be different? They don't pay for dinners or nothing? Right?
- 25:47Speaker 1: Would it be different if it were a dog. You're
- 25:49Speaker 1: more of a dog person to the pet. I don't
- 25:59Speaker 1: give a damn if it come off. The goldfish, he's
- 26:02Speaker 1: as goot go. We gotta get this tank out. We'll
- 26:06Speaker 1: ride him. Oh my god, what's wrong with you? It's crazy?
- 26:12Speaker 1: All right? Moving on to Clemente in Newark. Clemente says,
- 26:17Speaker 1: I was riding in my wife's car and she kept
- 26:20Speaker 1: getting back to back text um. When she came to
- 26:24Speaker 1: a stop, she texted the person back. I asked her
- 26:26Speaker 1: who it was, and she said it was work related.
- 26:29Speaker 1: I suggested that she called the co worker, and that
- 26:32Speaker 1: she called the co worker instead of texting while driving,
- 26:35Speaker 1: but she wouldn't do it, should I be suspicious. You
- 26:40Speaker 1: already are. Yeah, Should I be suspicious? That's what you're
- 26:45Speaker 1: doing right now. It's suspicious she texted and it is
- 26:49Speaker 1: a co worker. It's just a dude. It's a work husband,
- 26:55Speaker 1: the work husband. It's just it's a dude. Though. Should
- 27:01Speaker 1: I be suspicious? You already are. I don't even understand
- 27:05Speaker 1: what the problem. I got a better idea. Go up
- 27:12Speaker 1: to the shell. Let you read the text, and I
- 27:17Speaker 1: bet she won't. And then suspicion confirmed. Hey baby, let
- 27:20Speaker 1: me see what you're texting your coworker ain't. Then you
- 27:23Speaker 1: see nothing. That's a dude. That's a dude, that ain't.
- 27:30Speaker 1: The danger is who you're texting while drive. We had
- 27:35Speaker 1: a question on family feud. But we had a question
- 27:39Speaker 1: on family feud the other day, which was name something
- 27:42Speaker 1: you pull over on the side of the road to
- 27:45Speaker 1: do and the number of the number one answer has
- 27:47Speaker 1: changed the flat time this lady said to text, I
- 27:52Speaker 1: stopped what mine would have been to feed. I couldn't
- 28:00Speaker 1: believe you stop and pull over to text. Yes, I
- 28:05Speaker 1: do it all the time I get to where I'm going.
- 28:12Speaker 1: We'll just wait until you get there to text that
- 28:15Speaker 1: person back. Yeah, you know I mean, I mean, you know,
- 28:18Speaker 1: put your do not disturb thing on, yeah, on your phone,
- 28:22Speaker 1: then go ahead and do that. But they got to
- 28:25Speaker 1: talk thing that now where you don't even have to
- 28:28Speaker 1: do that. They could then read your text to you.
- 28:31Speaker 1: Siri will read your text to you and text back.
- 28:34Speaker 1: You don't even have to do that no more Live
- 28:37Speaker 1: I really know how to do that text out well.
- 28:41Speaker 1: Hey hey, hey, simple, simple, simple, Just have you earbuds
- 28:45Speaker 1: on and don't connect your phone to your Bluetooth. My
- 28:50Speaker 1: phone ain't connected to my car. You need to take
- 28:53Speaker 1: all your damn devices and just throw them out. The
- 28:55Speaker 1: damn one. I'm good, it's in my way. When I die,
- 29:01Speaker 1: my phone gonna get cremated with me. I know what
- 29:03Speaker 1: I'm doing. Oh gosh, all right, thank you Celo. Coming
- 29:08Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, we'll have some

- 30:13Speaker 1: ecawomen dot com. All right, And finally, in entertainment news,
- 30:20Speaker 1: we're switching gears here because Morris Day just made a
- 30:24Speaker 1: shocking accusation and a post on social media. Morris said
- 30:28Speaker 1: that Prince's estate will no longer let him perform under
- 30:31Speaker 1: the name Morris Day. In the time, Morris says, I've
- 30:34Speaker 1: given forty years of my life building up a name
- 30:37Speaker 1: and a legacy that Prince and I came up with
- 30:40Speaker 1: a name that while he was alive, he had no
- 30:42Speaker 1: problem with me using. I literally put my blood, sweat
- 30:46Speaker 1: and tears into bringing value to that name, Morrison's This
- 30:50Speaker 1: prince had no issue using the name they came up
- 30:53Speaker 1: with for performances. But note now that Prince is no
- 30:56Speaker 1: longer with us, suddenly the people who control his multimillion
- 30:59Speaker 1: dollars state want to rewrite history by taking my name
- 31:03Speaker 1: away from me. That's impacting how I feed my family.
- 31:07Speaker 1: Noting so as of now, for the Princess State, I
- 31:10Speaker 1: can no longer use Morris Day and the Time in
- 31:13Speaker 1: any capacity. That's not cool. Well I'm gonna use it.
- 31:17Speaker 1: You're gonna do that's not cool. That's who the hell
- 31:21Speaker 1: he is. Yeah, and that's who everybody knows him as,
- 31:25Speaker 1: and human prince. They never had no war with that.
- 31:27Speaker 1: We never heard something about this day state did. He's
- 31:31Speaker 1: ignorant ask people with some power that they don't deserve
- 31:34Speaker 1: misusing powers. So if he's gonna do a show what
- 31:38Speaker 1: he's supposed to do, who are supposed who is More's
- 31:41Speaker 1: Day in the Time? What you're gonna do? That's my name?
- 31:45Speaker 1: I guess the State's lawsuits But okay, there's more into
- 31:48Speaker 1: this story. Camerica Bank and Trust, which is currently administering
- 31:51Speaker 1: the estates, says Morris's comments are not entirely accurate, and
- 31:56Speaker 1: they went on to say that the estate is open
- 31:58Speaker 1: to working proactively with Morris to resolve this matter, to
- 32:03Speaker 1: resolve but co America once again, this large corporation that
- 32:07Speaker 1: wasn't around and had nothing to do with this man's
- 32:10Speaker 1: talent or career, how they evolved, and it's not entirely true,
- 32:14Speaker 1: it's very true. Yeah, that's how. That's how people get
- 32:18Speaker 1: jumped on publicly and don't know why they got their
- 32:20Speaker 1: ass jumped on. This is how this kind of stuff
- 32:22Speaker 1: end by the end of corporate off. Yes, that don't
- 32:27Speaker 1: make no kind of story. Absolutely, And he's such a
- 32:30Speaker 1: good a great performer. Were you know, we want to go.
- 32:36Speaker 1: I'm going out as more as the attack what with
- 32:41Speaker 1: Jerome not mirror mir What did you say now, Jesse Sticky,
- 32:58Speaker 1: this is really crazy. Yeah. I don't get it either,
- 33:01Speaker 1: I really don't. And he says he's given over forty
- 33:03Speaker 1: years of his life. I mean, to dude, that's who
- 33:05Speaker 1: he is. Yeah, I mean, if he comes no one else,
- 33:10Speaker 1: everybody's gonna says panty hole, big legs showing through the hole. Yes,
- 33:21Speaker 1: seven seven, come on, when can we help with that
- 33:24Speaker 1: kind of petition? Him? Right, get it up. I think
- 33:29Speaker 1: we all just have a fish net and win a
- 33:32Speaker 1: paying day. Okay, okay, yeah, yeah, this is a new dog.
- 33:38Speaker 1: We start with y'all three on this show. We're gonna
- 33:41Speaker 1: start with y'all. I wonder why, though, this is crazy.
- 33:45Speaker 1: Morris Day didn't ask Prince to give him the name,
- 33:47Speaker 1: period and not. It was never a problem. He probably
- 33:54Speaker 1: thinking about that. But these some people that read some
- 33:57Speaker 1: paperwork when Prince was living. You never heard none of this.
- 34:03Speaker 1: Now here comes some person illegal to found something to loophole,
- 34:10Speaker 1: and now they want to tie this man over this.
- 34:12Speaker 1: That's garbage. Man, He's complete and utter garbage. What can
- 34:17Speaker 1: you do with the name If this brother don't perform?
- 34:22Speaker 1: Day is unique. That's true, that's true. What do you gain?
- 34:27Speaker 1: You don't gain anything if the man is not performing?
- 34:31Speaker 1: What what is it to you? So your name, that's
- 34:37Speaker 1: so your So your goal is to stop him from
- 34:40Speaker 1: performing and using the name that he built. Well what
- 34:45Speaker 1: they want to do? So so they can't stop More's Day.
- 34:49Speaker 1: It's it's More's Day and the time. That's the part.
- 34:53Speaker 1: The entire name. His name is Morris Day. That's his
- 34:57Speaker 1: birth name, his legal name. Yes, you're correct time. I've
- 35:00Speaker 1: actually been in something not quite at but I've actually
- 35:04Speaker 1: been told before that I could not use my name.
- 35:10Speaker 1: Why and when carcap I was attached to a certain
- 35:13Speaker 1: show I had did your mom and dad and say
- 35:17Speaker 1: you see me, don't you? I mean who else could you?
- 35:21Speaker 1: What's the name of the show? I put it on
- 35:24Speaker 1: everything always do. Yeah that this is crazy. It's brilliant
- 35:33Speaker 1: because if you use the show, hey brow, get rid
- 35:38Speaker 1: of me. You got to renect. Take all these signs.
- 35:41Speaker 1: Now you're not using the same all this paperwork you got,
- 35:46Speaker 1: you use some new lines. Coming up. In twenty minutes
- 35:50Speaker 1: after the hour, Junior is here. I'll Junior with the
- 35:53Speaker 1: poem for the ladies. Wow, Women's Day. Right after this
- 35:59Speaker 1: you're listening show, all right, Junior is here, our resident poet,
- 36:06Speaker 1: so happy that he's here on this very special day

- 36:34Speaker 1: simply means Junior's ragged ass poems. Thank you know what
- 36:40Speaker 1: I'm about you? You bout to cry on this one.
- 36:43Speaker 1: I promise for us though, because it's for women up.
- 36:48Speaker 1: The name of the poem is we celebrate women's history.
- 36:53Speaker 1: That's deep eyes, I'm telling here we go. We celebrate
- 37:01Speaker 1: women's history. A month is not long enough, but for
- 37:06Speaker 1: a length of time to honor them, that selection would
- 37:09Speaker 1: be rough. Your memories are like ice cream and also
- 37:13Speaker 1: many choices, like caraman, vanilla, and chocolate. That one that
- 37:18Speaker 1: give you three choices is called Napoleon ice cream. But
- 37:22Speaker 1: I couldn't rhyme Napoleon, so I moved on. Okay, And
- 37:24Speaker 1: because it's Neapolitan, yeah that one, here's to you, miss butterscotch.
- 37:30Speaker 1: I toasted glass so high, hand myself a rocket roll.
- 37:34Speaker 1: I gave it my best try. Don't tell no one,
- 37:37Speaker 1: but I had a vanilla, so let's keep it on
- 37:39Speaker 1: the low load. Got busted with a chocolate girl, and
- 37:41Speaker 1: I didn't do that no more. All the ladies we
- 37:45Speaker 1: take this month because you are so fine. Let's have
- 37:48Speaker 1: a party to honor them, and I'll bring the boxed wine.
- 37:51Speaker 1: The end. Oh my god, international one I d I
- 38:01Speaker 1: killed you, not if I was there. I beat your ass.
- 38:06Speaker 1: You could thank the Lord. We on the zoom right now.
- 38:10Speaker 1: I did not do that. I can't go outside. They
- 38:13Speaker 1: all worst damn tribute than women. Women over the screaming
- 38:19Speaker 1: right at you. I can't go outside. Oh I knew
- 38:25Speaker 1: he was in trouble because at the beginning, did you
- 38:27Speaker 1: notice how he cleared his throat? But then his voice
- 38:29Speaker 1: was the same? That count it wasn't it was? And
- 38:41Speaker 1: then but surely had to correct you in the middle
- 38:44Speaker 1: of it. Napoleon ice cream boy, I said the poland
- 38:52Speaker 1: Napoleon as a person. You know what, yes, ragged poem
- 39:00Speaker 1: you've ever done to all the women on International's Day?
- 39:08Speaker 1: Why would you do that? All right? Look, thank you.
- 39:14Speaker 1: Coming up at thirty four minutes after the hour, we'll
- 39:16Speaker 1: celebrate more of International Women's Day right after this. You're
- 39:20Speaker 1: listening to the Stave Harvey Morning Show. March is marked
- 39:27Speaker 1: as Women's History Month all across the globe, where International
- 39:30Speaker 1: Women's Day commemorates the cultural, political, and socioeconomic achievements of women.
- 39:36Speaker 1: The day marks a call to a gender equal world,
- 39:39Speaker 1: free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination, and one that is diverse, equitable, inclusive,
- 39:44Speaker 1: while differences are valued and forget it tonight. Please check
- 39:49Speaker 1: out see her. Hear her celebrating women who make music
- 39:53Speaker 1: and culture, starring Alicia Keys. Take a listen to Alicia
- 39:57Speaker 1: Keys giving credit to her mother. I knew what I wanted,
- 40:01Speaker 1: and I would always be prepared, and I would always
- 40:03Speaker 1: work extra hard, and I would stay the latest, I
- 40:05Speaker 1: would come first. I was gonna beat them at it,
- 40:08Speaker 1: no matter what it took. And I was going to
- 40:11Speaker 1: prove myself no matter what it took. And that was
- 40:15Speaker 1: that was the drive that my mother gave me. You know,
- 40:17Speaker 1: she gave me that type of drive, all right, Keith
- 40:21Speaker 1: yea bee her hear her celebrating women who make music
- 40:25Speaker 1: and culture, starring Alicia Keys to Night Love that all right? So,
- 40:29Speaker 1: Steve and God, I gotta ask you about the women
- 40:33Speaker 1: that you celebrate in your life. Who inspired you at
- 40:36Speaker 1: the very beginning? Was nobody but my mother. I really
- 40:40Speaker 1: never met a better person. I've said that before, but
- 40:44Speaker 1: she was absolutely the best person I've ever known in
- 40:47Speaker 1: my life. I've never known a better person in illosphere heart.
- 40:50Speaker 1: And I was thinking, like the cool thing she gave
- 40:53Speaker 1: me was faith, right, I mean I could I can't
- 40:56Speaker 1: tell you how many scriptures. She was poor and because
- 41:00Speaker 1: she was a Sunday school teacher. I mean I would
- 41:02Speaker 1: get backhand if I miss quoted the scripture because she
- 41:06Speaker 1: knew I had a great memory. She knew that, because
- 41:10Speaker 1: she knew her son could remember, because I was a
- 41:12Speaker 1: storyteller even as a boy. And I get backhanded for
- 41:16Speaker 1: playing around because she knew I knew. But I think
- 41:18Speaker 1: for her it was that was the greatest inspiration in
- 41:21Speaker 1: my life. And then it was teachers after that. Some
- 41:23Speaker 1: of my favorite teachers were women. Okay, all right, junior,
- 41:27Speaker 1: let's hear from you. Oh my mom. First of all,
- 41:31Speaker 1: I've never seen nobody handle adversity better than her. She's
- 41:34Speaker 1: one person that never complained. She always found a way.
- 41:37Speaker 1: She's always did the most to make sure me and
- 41:38Speaker 1: my sister we always had the best of everything. She
- 41:41Speaker 1: worked two jobs. She worked night shift, day shift. My
- 41:44Speaker 1: mom never complained, never complained. And the one thing about
- 41:48Speaker 1: it too, is my grandmother. I got to give my
- 41:49Speaker 1: grandma because that became my best friend. When I got
- 41:52Speaker 1: in trouble. My grandmother was the first one to come
- 41:55Speaker 1: and say, you know what, I'm disappointed in you, but
- 41:58Speaker 1: let me show you how much I love you. And
- 41:59Speaker 1: that was portant lesson for me to learn that even
- 42:01Speaker 1: in your disappointments, you can still be loved. Even when
- 42:04Speaker 1: you mess up, they can still love you. And my
- 42:06Speaker 1: grandmother taught me that. So those are two most important
- 42:08Speaker 1: women in my life. Y'all already No, y'all have met
- 42:11Speaker 1: my mama. You already know, you already know. My mama
- 42:17Speaker 1: is the truth, being the truth from day one, gave
- 42:20Speaker 1: me all the the guidance, gave me the thought of
- 42:23Speaker 1: thinking big and becoming something. And I ain't. I was
- 42:27Speaker 1: so rebellious, I ain't wanna do it is I ain't
- 42:29Speaker 1: wanna do that. I didn't want to go college. Man,
- 42:30Speaker 1: My mama just stayed on me, and stayed on me,
- 42:33Speaker 1: got me through it all and even to this day. Man,
- 42:37Speaker 1: I try to. My pops is dead and gone, but
- 42:39Speaker 1: I try to. I try to stand in his shoes
- 42:41Speaker 1: a little bit and take care of my mama to
- 42:43Speaker 1: the utmost. So mama got the everything she needed. Now
- 42:46Speaker 1: it's my time, so I take care her. Me and
- 42:49Speaker 1: my baby's sister take care of my mama. And she
- 42:51Speaker 1: is the healthiest person in our family. So about to
- 42:55Speaker 1: be eighty years oh eight prol sixteen. I can't wait
- 42:58Speaker 1: to see that day. Come God say the same. My
- 43:00Speaker 1: Mama's still here. You know, it's stuck when you ask
- 43:03Speaker 1: the guys, I think because our mothers are the first
- 43:08Speaker 1: woman we ever loved. Yeah, And a son's love for
- 43:12Speaker 1: his mother, man, it's it's it's it's it's it's deep, man,
- 43:16Speaker 1: it it runs deep. You can do a lot of
- 43:19Speaker 1: things to a lot of people, you can't do nothing
- 43:21Speaker 1: to mama. Mama, and that's kind of that's kind of
- 43:24Speaker 1: a cool thing to do. So like, you know, like
- 43:27Speaker 1: you all have daughters, Shirley and Carl, you all have daughters.
- 43:32Speaker 1: And that's a special bond too, because I've seen it.
- 43:36Speaker 1: But that son that falls in love with his mother,
- 43:42Speaker 1: that that goes and it really teaches him what that
- 43:44Speaker 1: relationship is with women. If you want to meet, if
- 43:48Speaker 1: you meet a man that doesn't have a good relationship
- 43:50Speaker 1: with his mother, he probably ain't gonna have a good
- 43:52Speaker 1: one with you, you know, unless she was just you know,
- 43:59Speaker 1: a bad MoMA and you know, wasn't in his life
- 44:02Speaker 1: and a band in him or something like that. But
- 44:04Speaker 1: if that mother was there and you ain't cool with
- 44:05Speaker 1: your mom, it's gonna be half you to have good
- 44:07Speaker 1: relationship with this dude right here. For me, it was
- 44:09Speaker 1: my mom too though, my mom, so that's it exactly
- 44:12Speaker 1: all right? Coming up next, and nephew is here with
- 44:15Speaker 1: today's prank phone call. Right after this, you're listening to

- 49:12Speaker 1: Here's this story of a lovely lady, not three barely
- 49:17Speaker 1: lovely girl. Jared, My technique is a little bit different,
- 49:21Speaker 1: is and maybe a little unorthodox. You not go a

- 49:35Speaker 1: needs you to help me. I need to get you
- 49:38Speaker 1: into my office. I need to schedule an appointment with you.
- 49:40Speaker 1: You need to erase my personal number from your cell
- 49:43Speaker 1: phone because he knows your name. Jared. Focus, Focus, Focus,
- 49:48Speaker 1: Jared focus. There's a lot more going on here. For one,
- 49:52Speaker 1: you're making out of fun now with me and all
- 49:55Speaker 1: the game learning from each other. Why we do our
- 49:59Speaker 1: fir gonna have a good time? You know what, Jared,
- 50:06Speaker 1: My patience is said up. I have no more patience
- 50:10Speaker 1: with you now. I need you to face fuckers and
- 50:12Speaker 1: get it together. Why didn't you call me? Why don't you?
- 50:15Speaker 1: How did you get my number? Whyn't you supposed to
- 50:19Speaker 1: be the doctor. You're supposed to be the doctor and
- 50:22Speaker 1: my doctor. Don't question my credential. Show man, you called me.
- 50:26Speaker 1: I want to help you, but this has gone on
- 50:29Speaker 1: too far. This is Tommy? Gave me your number? Who Steve?
- 50:34Speaker 1: You know? Steve? Don't you? Now? Look, I want to
- 50:38Speaker 1: help you, but you are not allowing me to do so.
- 50:40Speaker 1: So who is Tommy? Who is Steven? And how did
- 50:44Speaker 1: you get my number? Stephen is on the radio? Don't
- 50:47Speaker 1: know it's Stephen on the Steven on the radio as
- 50:54Speaker 1: in the radio, as in Tommy, Matthew, Tommy, you have
- 51:05Speaker 1: been Pike? Who knows you didn't go? Oh my god?
- 51:12Speaker 1: Do you have a colleague named Charles? You know what
- 51:15Speaker 1: I'm gonna ki? Oh Lord that I can't believe Charlie

- 51:22Speaker 1: time you got? What? You got? Me? Flustered? I was
- 51:26Speaker 1: recording you. I have you know that. Oh, I gotta
- 51:31Speaker 1: ask you something though, what is the baddest and I

- 51:38Speaker 1: have been shut baby, My goodness, Wow, thank you for
- 51:45Speaker 1: being a friend. Boy was buzzing songs killing his island
- 51:56Speaker 1: just out of nowhere, the theme the fat Albert Dog
- 52:03Speaker 1: Dune dune dunegret. But here she comes out. I hope
- 52:09Speaker 1: you knew I was recording you. WoT to Petri. I
- 52:17Speaker 1: got a problem, baby, I got a serious problem. Shout
- 52:20Speaker 1: out to doctor Petrie. What was the problem you said?
- 52:26Speaker 1: He that I when I'm when I'm about to be
- 52:30Speaker 1: intimate with my my wife, I get I get nervous,
- 52:32Speaker 1: and I go into the closet and I'll started watching TV.
- 52:35Speaker 1: And I just thought I sang any songs. I don't
- 52:38Speaker 1: know what's wrong with me, and I can't get these
- 52:40Speaker 1: songs out right here. It's the level of stupid. Yeah,
- 52:48Speaker 1: that's it. And there is no limit to me. I
- 52:51Speaker 1: promise you that it is no limit. Okay, there is none.

- 54:27Speaker 1: Can my sugar baby be my lady? Dear Stephen Shirley,
- 54:31Speaker 1: I've been in a relationship with a woman for a year,
- 54:33Speaker 1: and I need some advice. She's thirty five and I'm
- 54:36Speaker 1: fifty four years old. When we met, I was legally separated,
- 54:41Speaker 1: and I was miserable in a one bedroom apartment and
- 54:44Speaker 1: depressed because my wife had a new boyfriend already. I
- 54:48Speaker 1: wanted an arrangement with a woman so I could get
- 54:50Speaker 1: over my soon to be ex wife. That's when I
- 54:53Speaker 1: met the lady that I called my sugar baby. She
- 54:57Speaker 1: was honest about dating two other guys and that she'd
- 55:00Speaker 1: love to spend time with me, but it would cost me.
- 55:03Speaker 1: After a few months, it became our joke, and she
- 55:06Speaker 1: called herself my sugar baby every time I gave her money.
- 55:11Speaker 1: She was a lot of fun and the sex made
- 55:13Speaker 1: my toes curled. Within months, I I was over my
- 55:17Speaker 1: ex and I was crazy about my sugar baby. I
- 55:20Speaker 1: asked her if we could be exclusive, and she reminded
- 55:23Speaker 1: me of our arrangement. I told her I was crazy
- 55:27Speaker 1: about her, and she said we needed to take a break.
- 55:29Speaker 1: At this point, I had lost the power and she
- 55:32Speaker 1: was in control. I cut her off, and within months
- 55:36Speaker 1: she came running back to me, broke and hurt over
- 55:39Speaker 1: a guy that she thought was in love with her.
- 55:42Speaker 1: I was happy she was back, so I bought a
- 55:44Speaker 1: house and she moved in. That was four months ago.
- 55:48Speaker 1: She's there eighty percent of the time because she still
- 55:51Speaker 1: has an apartment. I want her to live with me
- 55:54Speaker 1: one hundred percent of the time, but she is skeptical
- 55:57Speaker 1: about letting her apartment go. She wants some kind of
- 55:59Speaker 1: security blanket in case we break up. I know they
- 56:03Speaker 1: are all kinds of red flag with dealing with my
- 56:06Speaker 1: sugar baby, but I want to trust her and I
- 56:09Speaker 1: want her to trust me. I'm ready to take her
- 56:12Speaker 1: baggage and try to make this work. How do I
- 56:14Speaker 1: show her that she's secure with me? Or am I
- 56:17Speaker 1: crazy for trying to make my sugar baby my main lady? Okay, Okay,
- 56:24Speaker 1: here we go again. I don't know why you sugar daddies,
- 56:28Speaker 1: you old sugar daddies, think these young women are with
- 56:31Speaker 1: you for anything other than your money. I mean, she
- 56:34Speaker 1: spelled it out. You had an arrangement. I mean, don't,
- 56:37Speaker 1: let's not be delusional here. She already knows she's got you,
- 56:41Speaker 1: and that's all the security she needs right now. You're
- 56:44Speaker 1: obviously a man of means. You're giving her money, you
- 56:47Speaker 1: bought a house, but you're allowing her to continue to
- 56:50Speaker 1: see other men and to have her apartment. I mean,
- 56:53Speaker 1: don't you see that this is not a real relationship.
- 56:56Speaker 1: I mean, sugar baby told you from the very beginning
- 56:58Speaker 1: that she was seeing two other guys. And I gotta
- 57:03Speaker 1: say something about this term sugar baby. I mean, there's
- 57:06Speaker 1: this whole website dedicated to this stuff, where older men
- 57:09Speaker 1: with money, you know, cater to younger women. Okay, the
- 57:13Speaker 1: term sugar baby makes it sound all cute and sweet,
- 57:16Speaker 1: but it's still a pay for play arrangement. That's what
- 57:19Speaker 1: this is. And again I think that's what she really wants.
- 57:22Speaker 1: She wants you to continue paying her, and she will
- 57:25Speaker 1: continue playing you and sleeping with other men and all that.
- 57:29Speaker 1: I mean it's a true win win for her. She's
- 57:32Speaker 1: winning at life right now. Most women marry for security,
- 57:36Speaker 1: but she nor you have even mentioned that. And I
- 57:41Speaker 1: don't think you could ever be able to trust her
- 57:44Speaker 1: if you did marry her. This is not about trust.
- 57:47Speaker 1: You're caught up in love with sugar Baby, but sugar
- 57:50Speaker 1: baby's in love with your money and the lifestyle. If
- 57:52Speaker 1: you want something real with the real woman, I just
- 57:56Speaker 1: say it's time to wean sugar Baby off your money
- 57:58Speaker 1: and for you to get with some one who can
- 58:00Speaker 1: love you for you. I know you don't want that,
- 58:02Speaker 1: but that's my advice to you. Since you ask, you
- 58:04Speaker 1: can get over sugar Baby, just like you got over
- 58:07Speaker 1: your wife. Steve Man, what is we talking about? Boy Man?
- 58:19Speaker 1: Let me just go on and get to this right quick.
- 58:21Speaker 1: First of all, Shirley gave what I called an excellent answer.
- 58:27Speaker 1: She called you out. Now, this is a woman calling
- 58:31Speaker 1: you out all International Women's Day. But now, dog, let
- 58:38Speaker 1: me help you out, you know me. I just get
- 58:42Speaker 1: down to the basics so we can stop this foolishness
- 58:45Speaker 1: right off. Can my sugar baby be my lady? There's
- 58:51Speaker 1: a word missing in this letter, and as we go
- 58:54Speaker 1: through it. I'm gonna show it to you. I've been
- 58:57Speaker 1: a relationship with a woman for a year and I
- 58:59Speaker 1: need some right. She's thirty five, I'm fifty four. That's
- 59:01Speaker 1: a nineteen year difference. We met. I was legally separated
- 59:06Speaker 1: and miserable in the one bad room department, depressed because
- 59:09Speaker 1: my wife had a new boyfriend already. That's why y'all separated.
- 59:14Speaker 1: She didn't get the new boyfriend already. She already had
- 59:18Speaker 1: the new boyfriend. She's a lot of ways in your
- 59:21Speaker 1: letter you she got a new boyfriend already. No, she
- 59:24Speaker 1: already had the boyfriend. I'm gonna help you with how
- 59:29Speaker 1: you write your damn letter. I wanted an arrangement with
- 59:32Speaker 1: a woman so I could get over my soon to
- 59:35Speaker 1: be ex wife. You wanted an arrangement. That's when I
- 59:40Speaker 1: met the lady that I called my sugar baby. She
- 59:43Speaker 1: was honest about dating two other guys. Now, whare in
- 59:52Speaker 1: the hill? Do you see relationship? She told you she
- 59:59Speaker 1: was dating two other guys, and she loved us paying
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: time with you, But it would cost sir, two other
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: guys love just spaying time with you. But Shirley said,
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: this is the pay for play arrangement. We come back,
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: I'm gonna show you the words that's been left out
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: this entire left. Hang on, Steve, we'll have heard two
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: of your response coming up at twenty three minutes after
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: the hour, subjects can my sugar baby be my lady?
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Come on, Steve, let's
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: recap today's strawberry letter. The subject can my sugar baby
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: be my lady? Now, hey, I'm no bro. Can my
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: sugar baby be my lady? Are you nuts? Boy? Thirty
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: thirty five, you go onted an arrangement with a woman
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: because you say you was living in a one room empartment,
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: depressed because your wife had a new boyfriend already. Boy boy,
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: the reason y'all separated is because not because she got
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: a new boyfriend already. It's because she already had a boyfriend.
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: Then then you wanted to get in the arrange with
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: somebody so you could get over your ex. Then you
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: met a lady that you called your sugar baby. Then
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: she was honest with you about dating two other guys
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: she hadn't see letters spending time with you. But it's
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: gonna call you. Shirley told you this is pay for
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: player arrangement. A few minits, it became my joke, and
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: she called herself my sugar baby every time I gave
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: her money. She was a lot of fun, sex made
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: of toads curled. Within months, I was over my ex
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: and I was crazy about my sugar baby. We have
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: used the term sugar baby both times in this letter.
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: I asked her we could be exclusive. She reminded me
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: of our arrangement exclusive. You're talking about waiting exclusive. Wait
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: a minute, you're talking about jesse Me and you. Ain't
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: you old? Didn't I tell you I'm dating two other men?
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: You think I'm fitting, I'm fitning be exclusive to you?
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: Didn't I tell you it's gonna cost you. I spend
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: time with you? See food, what you're trying to make
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: more this than it is. I told her I was
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: crazy about her, and then she said, we need a
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: break because see now you're going too far. At this point,
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: I had lost the power when she was in control. Well,
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: you never had no power. You had to arrangement. I
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: cut her off, and within months she came running back
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: to me. See now you're happy. But she came running
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: back to you. Why because she was broke and hurt?
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: You leave all this running back to me because she
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: was hurt and and and thought that a man was
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: in love with her. No, she ran back to you
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: because she was broke. I was happy she was back.
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: I bought a house and she moved in. What boy,
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: your stupid as sir listening to me. Here's the term
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: that is not in this letter you keep talking about
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: sugar baby. Here's the term that's not in the letter,
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: sugar daddy. See you thought it was cute to call
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: her your sugar baby. But the truth of the matter
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: is that you don't want to write in the letter.
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: Is you just the sugar daddy? Daddy meaning older man.
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: Sugar is money. Without the money, you would just be
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: the daddy, which is the older man, the older man
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: without the money. Ain't no sugar. You are the sugar daddy.
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: Why ain't you coming to that? If nineteen years old
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: than this girl and you provide money and now you
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: didn't bought this damn house. She didn't moved in. While
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: she moved in because she was broke. That was four
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: months ago. She's that eighty percent of the time. Let's
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: back up. She is in the house you bought eighty
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: percent of time because she still has an apartment. And
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: where she at the other twenty percent, well, let me
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: tell you what. She's at the house, at the apartment
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: the twenty percent of the time because the mother two guys,
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: one of them got to come back old and she
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: got to go over there and take care of business.
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: I want her to knee with me one hundred percent
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: at a time. But she skeptic, broke, skeptical about letting
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: her apartment go because then she got to stay there
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: with your old ass all the time. She can't roll
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: over and without knocking over all the medicine bottles or
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: the knife stand she tied, or walking in here, seeing
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: your teeth in that glass, a lot of little stuff
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: in it. She trying to figure out what all it.
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: She can't even you got so much medicine. She can't
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: even pronounce the words on your label. She tired of
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: stopping down at the CVS area of the week, trying
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: to pick up stuff, sitting there waiting a long time
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: because they got to count your peels out exactly. She
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: didn't got tired of packaging up your peels and stuff.
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: These ain't supplements. You taking these is? I'm gotta leave
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: here if I don't take it. She didn't asked you
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: three times what it is nitrogen and you ain't answered
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: her yet three times because thirty people don't even know
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: what nitrogen is. Fault night old glistening. You shouldn't have
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: been here trying to explain that she is not understanding
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: what is that? Damn smeil, who is being big gay? Yeah?
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: Did he say? I know that? All kind of red
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: flags dealing with my sugar baby dog? You a sugar daddy?
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: Stopped man? Come on, brother, this ain't going to be
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: your woman. She all want to be your woman. Put
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: her out that damn house school. Get your grown ass
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: whole right all right? Post your comments on today's Strawberry

- 1:06:41Speaker 1: up at forty six minutes after the hour. You know

- 1:07:07Speaker 1: Serena Williams got to come to mind. Do you know
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: Serena Willia has twenty three Grand Slams and she was
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: ranked three hundred and nineteen weeks in a row at
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: number one. That's six years, six years. She number one
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: for six years? That girl cold you started to go
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: to the track and field. I got a girl in mind.
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: Name jacket join a person slow Joe, full time olympians,
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: six time Olympic medallists, gold. That's who you think about
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: when you start thinking about tracking field. Here another one.
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: Cheryl Swoops, Yes, Cheryl swoops. Cheryls swoops, three time MVP.
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: She was the first to sign a w NBA contract.

- 1:07:58Speaker 1: I get you another one. Anybody know a lady named
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: Cheryl Miller? Yeah? What s Miller? Reggie Miller's sister used
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: to beat Reggie? Yes or another name I think about
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: when I think about women in sports. Simone Bile, whoa
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: she didn't even thirty yet she already here? Got another
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: Billy j King. Yes, won the Battle of the Sex
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: be the man named Bobby Riggs and tennis. Yes, she
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: did in front of the world. He got another. Lisa Leslie,
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: two time MVP and two time w n BP champion
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: for the Lost Angeles Sparks. Yes, girl got another. What

- 1:09:03Speaker 1: I ain't in the right mental state. Bringing away here
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: going another huh Wilmore Rudolf probably my grandmother's favorite athlete.
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: I've never seen an old tape because I didn't get
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: here till seventy eight. It was bad, it was bad.
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: That's arl Lean Jenkins, that horseshoe champion, Wilson, that's your girl.
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: My daddy was scared at home. Well, thank you for
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: making us award. Coming up at the top of the hour,
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: we're celebrating women as you can hear and see. On
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: International Women's Day. We'll have more of the Steve Harpy
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: Morning Show right after this you're listening Morning Show. Vice
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: President Kamala Harris on Sunday called on Congress to pass
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: federal voting rights legislation before walking across the Edmund Pettis
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: Bridge in Selma, Alabama. They were marking the fifty seventh
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: anniversary of Bloody Sunday. The supports was a key moment
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: in the civil rights movement, and today on International Women's Day,
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: we want to celebrate women's achievements and talk about progress
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: made by empowering women. Vice President Kamala Harris, First Lady
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: Michelle Obama, Democratic Leader Stacy Abram's, civil rights activists, Tamika Mallory,
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: and the list goes on and on. Steve, it is
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: so important for women to just use their voys and
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: their power for change as we also continue to demand
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: that our black women leaders also have a seat at
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: the table. And I mean Vice President Kamala Harris, I
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: know that we're tired of this conversation. I know we've
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: we're up to here. We're fed up with it, and
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: as we should be, because there's still so much work
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: to be done. The fact that Vice President Kamala Harris
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: is going across the bridge again to ask an employ
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: and plead for Voting Rights Act, why are we still
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: asking for that simple thing that is supposed to be
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: a constitutional right. That's just amazing to me. Kamala Harris
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: is at the forefront of the fight again. She's a Look,
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: she's the first black woman to ever hold an office
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: in the White House, you know, and it's and it's
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: something that we have to embrace and understand. Are they
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: having a perfect time in that note? But they can't
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: have a perfect time because the opposition is fighting every
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: single thing they do. If they come up with a
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: good idea, if it ain't they idea, to hell with
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: the idea. And that's the climb that her and Joe
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: Biden are facing today. That's the climate that it started
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: when Barack Obama won the president and they she said
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: at the beginning of his presidency, we are hell being
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: interment that you will be a one term president. That's
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: what the Republican Party said. Barack Obama turned out to
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: be one of the greatest presidents in the history of
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: the United States, but they had put their flag in
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: the ground that nothing you all do we're going allowed
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: to be successful. So then after that, here it came.
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: Here came this Donald Trump, and then he created everything.
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: And now Biden and Kamala Harris are dealing with it.
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: Kamala Harris is doing a fine job. Man. You have
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: to understand what this woman is up against. She can't
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: have a good idea without the opposition, and the opposition
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: is great, listen to them. We can't even say we're
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: gonna have a black woman hold the first Supreme Court
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: position without it being oh, so you're going to take
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: six percent of the population and ignore the other ninety
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: four percent. Damn dong. We can't have everybody represented on
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: the Supreme Court. You can't have black men represented. You
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: can't you have white men represented, you have white women represented. Right, Yeah,
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: you know, it's just sad. But she's doing a great job, man,
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: And hats off to common Ahrenson and everything she accomplishing
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: and trying to accomplish. And just stay in the fight
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: because it's not easy. But we got to support our own. Hey, hey, man,
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: let me tell you what we got to stop doing.
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: We got to stop finding fault with each other all
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: the time. We got enough people throwing that, right, how
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: is it that we were the first ones to start
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: digging at each other along with them? Hello, just about
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: some Migna das crabbing the barrel mentality fib seed. We
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: got to stop that. We don't need no help tearing
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: us down, so right on to sister Carla Hars keep
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: doing that. We love you, we really do. Yes, yes, yeah,
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: man oh man, oh man. And and don't forget Georgia
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: Stacy Abrams. All of that, all right, More of today's
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: trending stories on the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: at twenty minutes after the hour. Right after this, you're
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Gas prices top

- 1:20:25Speaker 1: set last night. I was really tired, and I was
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: I was just really really just I mean just mentally exhausted.
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: Even my voice today kind of tells to tell. I've
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: been just talking at a high volume all weekend. You know,
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: twelve shows, just over and over and over and over
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: and over. And when you do these shows, I'm really
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: the only one talking all the time, so it gets
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: to be a bit taxi. And then I had some
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: special work I had to do after the show, and
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: I was getting in the carn. I was thinking about, man,
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: I'm tired of this right here. But then the got
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: one of my guys that was with me. I was
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: on the golf cart riding back to my bungalow to
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: change clothes, and he said, Mistage, how you feel it?
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: I said, man, I'm tired. Man, I'm beat up. He said,
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: I can ask your personal question. I said yeah. He said,
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: when you do something like that, do they pay you?
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: This was after the show was over. I had to
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: shoot some extra stuff and I said yeah they do.
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: He said, wow, so you got paid to do family
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: feud and for doing that extra stuff with that other
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: thing you just did, they paid you too. I said yeah.
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: He said wow, how does that feel? And I went,
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: what are you talking about? He said, every time you
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: do extra, they pay you extra. I said yeah. He said,
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: how does that feel. I said, well, I mean it
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: feels normal. You know what He said to me, He said,
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: but it ain't. This kid snapped me right on back
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: to reality. Because I was sitting there talking about how
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: tired I was, how exhausted I was. He said to me,
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: how does that feel to get paid extra just for
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: doing extra? I said, because that feels normal, He said,
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: but it ain't. And I had to catch myself. You
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: know what, because it ain't. Steve Harvey, it's grace, it's favor,
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: it's a blessing. It's a testament to how far God
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: then bought you. It's a testament to all God has
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: done in your life. And you're sitting up here complaining.
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: And then I had to go over yesterday's closing remarks
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: because I was thinking about that again. You can't complain
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: about what all's on your plate when your whole goal
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: was to eat man. Sometimes, man, you just need some
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: body who's getting a real dose of reality in their
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: life to just point out to you how yours really is.
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: So I'm talking to everybody out here that is listening today.
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: Do you know someone that you're related to, or you
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: know or live close to you that's worse off than
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: you are. I bet you do. I bet you can
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: think of right now five people who would trade places
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: with you right now. Give me your job, give me
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: your stress, give me your car, give me your house,
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: give me your life. I bet right now, whoever you are,
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: you can find five people that would trade places with
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: you right now. Oh, but you know what we're doing, though,
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: We're finding something to complain about with that life. I
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: wish I had more, man, I'm trying to move up
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: in here, and I got you are. It's nothing wrong
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: with dreams and aspirations and goals. It's nothing wrong with that,
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: But man, sometimes you gotta get it brought back to
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: the reality of it all. Is your life really normal
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: or does it look a bit abnormal to some people?
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: Just think about them, five people who would trade trade
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: trade lines with you right now. Do you think that
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: they consider your life normal? Now? Because I remember time, man,
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: when I just wanted one of them ninety two thousand
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: dollars houses up on Taylor Street. That's all I wanted, man,
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: was one of them ranch style houses that cost ninety
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: thousand dollars. I used to ride my bike by that
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: just to look at them. And now look at how
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: I live, and I'm sitting up here to my man,
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: I'm tired. You might be tied, Steve Harlan, but I
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: bet you better get over it. You might not have
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: everything you'd like to have, but I bet you got
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: everything you need. And that's another thing. Let me while
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: we're on that subject right here, you better start being
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: grateful for the things you have that you've covered all
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: your needs, because right now you're just in the WONT
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: section of life. The majority of people that I'm talking
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: to are in the WONT section of life. A lot
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: of you all have jobs, have transportation, have a roof
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: over your head, and you eat, and you have clothing.
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: Your needs are covered. If you really think about it,
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: you most of you listening are in the WONT section
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: of your life. You just want to have some more money.
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: You want to have a bigger savings. You want to
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: take more vacation. You want to have a second hole,
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: you want a better car, but you got one though.
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: Sometimes y'all, you just gotta have a reality check. I
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: really thank God for that young kid last night who said,
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: how does it feel, mister Harvey to get paid extra
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: every time you do extra? And I said, that's normal,
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: and that kid said no, it ain't. No, it ain't.
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: It ain't normal. Man. I thank God for just that
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: right then, for having the mindset to understand that you
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: may not be where you want to be, but you
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: better thank God that you ain't where you was. Those
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: are my closing remarks. Y'all have a good one today.
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: God willing will see yall tomorrow. Hey, y'all talk to God.
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: He'd love to hear from you. Okay, Hill at you.
