- 0:21Speaker 1: har listening to movie together for stum, Please, Moby, I
- 0:38Speaker 1: don't join join me, be doing me. Honey. You gotta
- 1:01Speaker 1: turn you, you gotta turn turn turn, You got to
- 1:44Speaker 1: turn them out to turn the water the water go.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on your back. Uh huh, I shore will
- 2:03Speaker 1: a good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, Come
- 2:06Speaker 1: on dig me now one it only Steve Harvey got
- 2:10Speaker 1: a radio show. Well, nothing changes about that, Nothing changes
- 2:15Speaker 1: about that. Man. I was just so getting ready to
- 2:20Speaker 1: come on to air this morning. I was just thinking, man,
- 2:25Speaker 1: I was just having a reflective moment of just how
- 2:28Speaker 1: really good God has been to me. I just it's
- 2:33Speaker 1: it's it's man. Let me just say that again, how
- 2:37Speaker 1: really good God has been to me. And here's a
- 2:42Speaker 1: cold part. In spite of myself, you understand, in spite
- 2:47Speaker 1: of all my shortcomings, in spite of all of my
- 2:51Speaker 1: flaws and and and and in spite of all of
- 2:56Speaker 1: what anybody has said about me, God, through his grace
- 3:01Speaker 1: and mercy just keeps me anyway. So many of us
- 3:06Speaker 1: are exceptional people, but we refuse to just go ahead
- 3:13Speaker 1: and be exceptional. We settle for the ordinary. We follow
- 3:20Speaker 1: the pack. We try to fit in. Man, oh man,
- 3:25Speaker 1: oh man. You know I've heard my wife say this
- 3:27Speaker 1: to my children all the time when she's scolding them,
- 3:30Speaker 1: talking to him. She'd be talking to him about leadership.
- 3:33Speaker 1: You know, why are you following everybody when God clearly
- 3:36Speaker 1: made you to lead? So many of us are born,
- 3:39Speaker 1: and so many of you are born to be exceptional people,
- 3:43Speaker 1: but we always trying to follow the pack. Why would
- 3:48Speaker 1: you try to fit in? Why would you try to
- 3:51Speaker 1: be like everybody else, be ordinary? Why would you follow
- 3:57Speaker 1: the pack when God has created you to be exceptional?
- 4:02Speaker 1: The key word in exceptional is accept you. Ever you
- 4:07Speaker 1: ever done this right here? You know, everybody did that
- 4:09Speaker 1: accept me. Everybody felt that way except me. Everybody said
- 4:17Speaker 1: that except me. Everybody won't wanted that. Accept me. Everybody
- 4:23Speaker 1: went over that except me. Everybody jumped in except me.
- 4:29Speaker 1: Accept me. See why have you saying that in your life?
- 4:34Speaker 1: If you were not to be exceptional? See, you got
- 4:38Speaker 1: to say everybody accept me at one point in You're to.
- 4:41Speaker 1: I don't know who ain't done it. You know everybody wanted,
- 4:44Speaker 1: everybody voted no except me. See, so you're not You're
- 4:50Speaker 1: not created to follow the pack. You ain't created to
- 4:53Speaker 1: fit in. You ain't created to, you know, to be ordinary.
- 4:57Speaker 1: You will create it to be exceptional, as exceptional as
- 5:01Speaker 1: your fingerprint on your finger is. You were created to
- 5:05Speaker 1: be exceptional. Why not make this the year that you
- 5:09Speaker 1: go ahead on and be exceptional? Why won't this be
- 5:13Speaker 1: the year that you decide in your mind? But just
- 5:17Speaker 1: has to be a decision that we make. Now we're
- 5:19Speaker 1: not following the pack no more. We're not trying to
- 5:22Speaker 1: fit in no more. We ain't settling for ordinary no more.
- 5:26Speaker 1: We're gonna be exceptional. But you know, you got you
- 5:30Speaker 1: got to go ahead and follow that. You got to
- 5:32Speaker 1: get on the exceptional path, because that's what you were
- 5:34Speaker 1: created for. Why be ordinary? You know? But all of
- 5:38Speaker 1: this this comes to it has to start with a thought.
- 5:42Speaker 1: You got to first think something thought to become things.
- 5:47Speaker 1: A man is as he thinketh that's all you will
- 5:51Speaker 1: ever be. So what are your thoughts today? Why not
- 5:54Speaker 1: have exceptional thoughts instead of ordinary thoughts? Why not have
- 5:58Speaker 1: exceptional thoughts instead of fitting me in thoughts? So why
- 6:02Speaker 1: you want to be like everybody else? Why you want
- 6:04Speaker 1: to be ordinary when you could possibly be extraordinary with
- 6:08Speaker 1: a change of your mind, a change of your venue,
- 6:12Speaker 1: and you don't have to be any other kind of
- 6:14Speaker 1: way just because my mama was this way, my daddy
- 6:17Speaker 1: was this way, This the school I went to? This,
- 6:20Speaker 1: what race I belong to? This is my sexual preference,
- 6:24Speaker 1: this is my this, this is my daddy? How many?
- 6:26Speaker 1: How many? How many excuses you need? I'm an excuse? What? What? What? What? You?
- 6:31Speaker 1: What's it gonna be this year that we let another
- 6:34Speaker 1: three hundred and sixty five days slip by without improving
- 6:38Speaker 1: our condition, our place, our spot, our life, the quality
- 6:43Speaker 1: of life we have. We cannot afford to keep letting
- 6:48Speaker 1: all these years go by without changing. You're an exceptional person.
- 6:55Speaker 1: How many times have you set up and said, everybody
- 6:58Speaker 1: did that? Accept me? You know I was only everybody
- 7:02Speaker 1: jumped in accept me. I told him I knew it.
- 7:06Speaker 1: Everybody voted for that. Accept me? And now look at him, man,
- 7:11Speaker 1: it seemed like everybody went that way, accept me. Okay,
- 7:17Speaker 1: do you get it? Do you understand what's being said
- 7:21Speaker 1: to you? That an't accept me is because couldn't it be?
- 7:25Speaker 1: Because you're an exceptional person, and it's time for you
- 7:28Speaker 1: to take control of that. It's time for you to
- 7:31Speaker 1: start thinking different. It's time for you to start acting
- 7:34Speaker 1: on what you think. It's time for you to start
- 7:36Speaker 1: doing something about it. It's time for you to stop
- 7:39Speaker 1: taking each and every day that God gives us for
- 7:42Speaker 1: granted and letting them go by the wayside, like you
- 7:45Speaker 1: got plenty more. Well, you may have plenty more, but
- 7:48Speaker 1: guess what what you're wasting the ones you got for
- 7:52Speaker 1: I got you young, and you and you feel like
- 7:54Speaker 1: you're gonna live forever. D Okay, cool, But let me
- 7:58Speaker 1: ask you something. See here here here go to part about.
- 8:00Speaker 1: Suppose you do live? See see everybody willing about dying.
- 8:04Speaker 1: But I got news for you. Suppose you keep on living.
- 8:08Speaker 1: You want to keep living in the condition you in now.
- 8:10Speaker 1: You want to keep living with the money you got now.
- 8:13Speaker 1: You want to keep living with the relationship you got now.
- 8:16Speaker 1: You want to keep living by yourself like you are now.
- 8:19Speaker 1: You want to keep wanting the right relationship, the right man,
- 8:22Speaker 1: the the right woman, but you keep getting the wrong one.
- 8:24Speaker 1: You want to keep doing that for the rest of
- 8:26Speaker 1: your life. Problem ain't dying. It's problem is if you
- 8:28Speaker 1: keep on living. Who wants to keep on living just
- 8:32Speaker 1: the way they are right now? And if you could
- 8:35Speaker 1: say I'm cool what I am, just the way I
- 8:37Speaker 1: am right now, it in't cool. This conversation ain't for you.
- 8:39Speaker 1: I ain't got no problem with that. You know you
- 8:42Speaker 1: want to say greatness ain't for everybody being exceptional, ain't
- 8:47Speaker 1: for everybody becoming extraordinary, ain't fun everybody. Heck, becoming successful
- 8:52Speaker 1: ain't fun everybody. I got it. And you can come
- 8:56Speaker 1: up with a way to justify your non existence in
- 8:58Speaker 1: your ordinary life all you want, and that's fine and dandy.
- 9:02Speaker 1: I ain't got no problem with it. Because some people
- 9:04Speaker 1: just gonna be regular. Some people just gonna follow the pack,
- 9:08Speaker 1: follow the crowd. Some people just wants to fit in.
- 9:12Speaker 1: But if you're not that person, if you want to
- 9:14Speaker 1: be extraordinary, if you want to be exceptional, if you
- 9:18Speaker 1: want to be if you want to dare to be
- 9:20Speaker 1: great at something, and you got to change your mind set.
- 9:23Speaker 1: You got to get with your creating, find out what
- 9:25Speaker 1: he created you fault. You gotta quit thinking of things
- 9:28Speaker 1: just in your own thought process. You know, lean not
- 9:32Speaker 1: to your own understanding. I don't know what that is,
- 9:34Speaker 1: but it's in there somewhere. Seeing Once you lean, if
- 9:37Speaker 1: you lean to your own understanding, you know what it's
- 9:40Speaker 1: gonna do. It's gonna limit you. Man, It's gonna limit you.
- 9:43Speaker 1: Why not see what God got for you? I would
- 9:46Speaker 1: rather know what God got for me than to think
- 9:49Speaker 1: of all the things I could because I can't out
- 9:51Speaker 1: think him out and tried it before. All right, it's
- 9:54Speaker 1: just the beginning. We're gonna have a good one. Man.
- 9:56Speaker 1: Let's go. You're listening, ladies and gentlemen. Uh, it's about
- 10:04Speaker 1: to go down. And what I'm speaking about is this hill.

- 10:52Speaker 1: your normal activity. You didn't have any downtime or anything
- 10:55Speaker 1: with that hernia. I went to lunch right after that,
- 11:00Speaker 1: which it was a mistake because after the hospital medicine
- 11:02Speaker 1: wa off, oh, I found out how painful hernia surgery is,
- 11:08Speaker 1: and uh yeah, I said, I hear went out there
- 11:11Speaker 1: and got that prescription they gave me with the oxy
- 11:14Speaker 1: morning whatever it is. I took it. I took it,
- 11:24Speaker 1: and then that locked me up real good, and I went, okay,
- 11:29Speaker 1: So I tried not to take it, but the pain
- 11:31Speaker 1: was too bad, so I had to take it again
- 11:33Speaker 1: and locked me up again. I said, okay, it's wins.
- 11:36Speaker 1: Didn't need to get unlocked and I need something to happen.
- 11:39Speaker 1: I can't be in the pain both ways. Yeah, And
- 11:43Speaker 1: so I finally got that situation straight, not just stop
- 11:47Speaker 1: stopped taking the pain medicine, dealing with it, and so
- 11:50Speaker 1: I did the weekend. I did the boys camp all week. Yeah,
- 11:54Speaker 1: and that was a huge success. When I'm gonna talk
- 11:57Speaker 1: about it go to go to the website Steve Harvey.
- 12:01Speaker 1: And oh, by the way, let me make the announcement
- 12:03Speaker 1: to the kids, man, when you can play golf. Yeah,
- 12:08Speaker 1: that ain't gonna have so, you know, I just look
- 12:10Speaker 1: one on you. So y'all want me to stop. Y'all
- 12:12Speaker 1: have other content today. You're in a great mood today.
- 12:19Speaker 1: That's all I need to hear. So that was it,
- 12:22Speaker 1: and so I just went on it all. Oh, I
- 12:26Speaker 1: got let two things. No, First of all, to all
- 12:28Speaker 1: the kids at the camp, nothing has happened to Coach Blue.
- 12:32Speaker 1: Coach Blew is wonderfully fine and healthy. We just talked.
- 12:36Speaker 1: Somebody had been pranking the kids because Coach Blue one
- 12:41Speaker 1: of their favorite dudes. Man one of mine. Yeah. We
- 12:49Speaker 1: had one bad incident though. One of the boys that
- 12:51Speaker 1: left the camp needs y'all to put him in your prayers.
- 12:53Speaker 1: One of the boys left the camp on Sunday and
- 12:58Speaker 1: Sunday night, got back home and was shot in the back.
- 13:01Speaker 1: Oh oh my god. Yeah. Yeah. When he got when
- 13:09Speaker 1: he got shot, he didn't want to call his mother
- 13:12Speaker 1: a nobody. He wanted to call his mentor had met
- 13:17Speaker 1: it to count he had his number and everything. That's
- 13:19Speaker 1: who y'all call come get me. Wow. Yeah, well he
- 13:23Speaker 1: will definitely be in our prayers, Steve. Wow. Yeah, all right. Uh,

- 13:50Speaker 1: asked Steve. I have to I have to ask you this.
- 13:54Speaker 1: Please keep your answer short so we can get more
- 13:56Speaker 1: questions in thank you. Um yeah, those are the rules. Um. Alright,
- 14:04Speaker 1: here we go, quiet Junior, don't encourage him. All right,
- 14:08Speaker 1: there we go, Steve. What is your biggest, biggest regret
- 14:13Speaker 1: in life that I didn't understand vision boards and dreams
- 14:22Speaker 1: and positive mental thinking earlier? You know, I started thinking
- 14:28Speaker 1: that after I signed up for AM Well, I wish
- 14:30Speaker 1: I had known this a long way. But then I
- 14:34Speaker 1: can't say it's really a regret because I needed to
- 14:37Speaker 1: go through that process to really make me focus on it.
- 14:39Speaker 1: When I did get a vision board, that's been one
- 14:42Speaker 1: of my one of my biggest regrets. Okay, all right,
- 14:46Speaker 1: good answer, short and sweet. I got one. What what's
- 14:51Speaker 1: the most truthful yet offensive statement? The most what now,
- 15:00Speaker 1: most truthful but also offensive statement you can make? You
- 15:11Speaker 1: I've made so many, I don't know which one. You
- 15:20Speaker 1: know what I thought he was? Do you like, oh what,
- 15:26Speaker 1: my boy had a baby? Onion had a baby and
- 15:30Speaker 1: pull the blanket off baby facing boys here? What what
- 15:34Speaker 1: you think? And I said the only thing I could said,
- 15:41Speaker 1: because Onion was it's about the ugly human being as
- 15:45Speaker 1: you could have And he had married a girl that
- 15:47Speaker 1: wasn't far off from him. So this baby, this baby
- 15:55Speaker 1: was under this blanket just oh my god. I didn't
- 16:01Speaker 1: do so as soon as he opened it up. I
- 16:04Speaker 1: made the most truthful, brutally honest statement I could get offensive. Yeah, boy,
- 16:13Speaker 1: just like you. And why do they call him Onion?
- 16:18Speaker 1: Well because he's stink real bad. It's under armed, stink
- 16:22Speaker 1: real bad. Okay, So okay, but that just proves there's
- 16:28Speaker 1: someone for everyone. Well that don't prove that also proves
- 16:34Speaker 1: that everybody don't need a head chill. Come on, next question?
- 16:43Speaker 1: All right, uh, what are you supposed to say to
- 16:46Speaker 1: someone in the morning after one nice day? Oh? Good one?
- 16:51Speaker 1: What what are you supposed to say in the morning
- 16:54Speaker 1: after one nice day. Hey, can't wait to see you again.
- 17:01Speaker 1: But know when good in hele whale, you're never gonna
- 17:07Speaker 1: This was not only a one night stand. It was
- 17:09Speaker 1: a bad idea. Most of them are. But what did
- 17:16Speaker 1: you say? Nephew? I heard you? Bye bye? All right?
- 17:21Speaker 1: Next question, come on, Carla, Steve, if you were a
- 17:26Speaker 1: boxer or a fighter, what song would you come out to?
- 17:32Speaker 1: You know, I'll probably come out to hel cool Ja.
- 17:36Speaker 1: Mama say knock you out, Mama say knock you out
- 17:42Speaker 1: out there to that? Okay, all right, I like, all right,
- 17:48Speaker 1: here we go. Next question, Steve, this we're doing, asked Steve.
- 17:51Speaker 1: Of course, what should everyone have that costs less than
- 17:57Speaker 1: one hundred dollars? What should everyone have that costs less
- 18:01Speaker 1: than a hundred dollars? A toothbrush? Yeah? Uh, that's to
- 18:12Speaker 1: say some people don't like that. Yeah, and if you
- 18:16Speaker 1: have one, yeah, I used it? All right, Junior? What's
- 18:19Speaker 1: the worst party you ever attended? The worst party I've attended? Oh? Man,
- 18:25Speaker 1: this party that this girl threw that I met downtown
- 18:28Speaker 1: one day. I was walking, you know, I used to
- 18:30Speaker 1: have a bid a long time ago wait for a comedy,
- 18:34Speaker 1: and I met her and she had a fetish for
- 18:36Speaker 1: bids and I didn't know it. She invited me to
- 18:39Speaker 1: this party. I went over there. She asked me, because
- 18:41Speaker 1: I come elier. I said, all right now, yeah, she
- 18:44Speaker 1: lived on ate it something the way parked deep in
- 18:46Speaker 1: the hood. She's throwing a house party this effort. He
- 18:50Speaker 1: asked me what I helped up greet people at the door.
- 18:52Speaker 1: I said, okay, cool, you know, kind of like you know,
- 18:54Speaker 1: we day night, just fine chocolate thing, all right. Now,
- 18:59Speaker 1: every dude that came to that party had a damn beard.
- 19:06Speaker 1: It was the beard party. Every single man that came
- 19:12Speaker 1: had a beard. I'm just hanging up coach. Just let him. Yeah,
- 19:21Speaker 1: I'm just damn coach. Check. I'm sent in here, so
- 19:26Speaker 1: careless whisper was the jail back there, you know, yeah,
- 19:33Speaker 1: that was my jail wham. Careless whisper. We only dasked
- 19:37Speaker 1: at one time. That was the worst part I ever
- 19:39Speaker 1: been to. I was so tired of hanging up the
- 19:41Speaker 1: coach and after it was old, what the dude to
- 19:43Speaker 1: be ahead? And my man, my man, can you get
- 19:46Speaker 1: my coat from it? Man? If you're gonna kiss boy?
- 19:51Speaker 1: She played me with the hanging the coats up, But
- 19:53Speaker 1: to go get it. I can promise you that ain't
- 19:56Speaker 1: gonna happen at co Tommy. All right, let's see you.
- 20:03Speaker 1: What's the smallest thing? I can tell you a lot
- 20:06Speaker 1: about the person? The smallest thing can tell you a
- 20:10Speaker 1: lot about the person. Well, I was, don't say you.
- 20:16Speaker 1: He always gets. He always gets. I get set up
- 20:22Speaker 1: with these questions. The whole thing. You the first person
- 20:29Speaker 1: made me realize I was big. Answer the question, what's
- 20:37Speaker 1: the smallest thing? Can tell you a lot about the person?
- 20:38Speaker 1: All right, let me see we gotta go his brain.
- 20:45Speaker 1: All right, coming up next, Thank you for that edition
- 20:49Speaker 1: of as Steve. Coming up next, run that brank back
- 20:52Speaker 1: with little nephew, Tommy. Right after this you're listening to
- 20:59Speaker 1: come up at the top of the hour and entertainment
- 21:02Speaker 1: news and sad news. Fashion designer icon Gloria Vanderbilt has
- 21:07Speaker 1: passed away our thoughts with CNN's Anderson Cooper and his family.
- 21:11Speaker 1: That of course was his mom. Yeah, yeah, very sad um.
- 21:15Speaker 1: In other entertainment news, Blue Ivy is on her way
- 21:18Speaker 1: to being a star. But right now the nephew is here.
- 21:21Speaker 1: We've run that brank back. What you got now looking
- 21:24Speaker 1: for a kid? Miss sherlot. That's all. Can I have
- 21:27Speaker 1: your kid? Come on Kat? Hello, Hello, I'm trying to
- 21:32Speaker 1: reach a brother, Conny. This is kindly. How are you doing, bro?
- 21:37Speaker 1: This is Deacon Patterson called him from the church. How
- 21:39Speaker 1: are you doing today, Deacon Patterson? Yeah, you're doing fun
- 21:43Speaker 1: and I'm sor I'm doing good, doing good, and you
- 21:45Speaker 1: know the church is behind you on what you're going through.
- 21:47Speaker 1: When we were praying for you, man, we know all
- 21:50Speaker 1: about the you know you're going in the surgeon on
- 21:52Speaker 1: Friday to get your get your prancers removed. So I
- 21:55Speaker 1: wanted to give you a call, man, have a word
- 21:58Speaker 1: of pray and let you know that we all pulling
- 22:00Speaker 1: for you, and we know that that the man upstairs
- 22:03Speaker 1: is gonna pull you through the successful where God blessing
- 22:06Speaker 1: keep you, uh that Deacon, God blessing keep you because
- 22:09Speaker 1: I tell you I'm going through something here. Me and
- 22:11Speaker 1: my wife, we've been talking about it and we've been
- 22:13Speaker 1: praying on it, and is she was a wonderful thing
- 22:16Speaker 1: to know that your church is with you and y'all
- 22:18Speaker 1: thinking about me in prayer. I really had to take
- 22:20Speaker 1: this to the Lord. This is a serious thing with
- 22:23Speaker 1: me and I ain't never had an operation before in
- 22:26Speaker 1: my life, and I know I need it. My wife
- 22:28Speaker 1: and made it clear. The doctor made it clear that
- 22:30Speaker 1: I believe I'm ready to go forward, Deacon, and we're

- 24:44Speaker 1: what I was gonna ask you was Yeah, and I
- 24:47Speaker 1: know this is I hate to come at you in
- 24:49Speaker 1: the final hour and you're getting ready to go out
- 24:51Speaker 1: sardas and all that. But if you don't mind it,
- 24:54Speaker 1: if you could see it in your heart to to
- 24:57Speaker 1: see to do something for somebody else, Yes, Uh, that's
- 25:00Speaker 1: that's the large we are you always supposed to help
- 25:02Speaker 1: those who right, and I'm glad you think like that.
- 25:07Speaker 1: Now when they go in on Friday morning and remove
- 25:10Speaker 1: that pinker is out, do you think that they could
- 25:15Speaker 1: go in and and get one of your kidneys? Because
- 25:18Speaker 1: I need one hold hold on just what you say,
- 25:23Speaker 1: what you say, see, see see what else. I've been

- 26:48Speaker 1: If both them, if both of them kidneys is good,
- 26:51Speaker 1: it ain't gonna hit it. Think you ain't getting my kidney? Man,
- 26:54Speaker 1: ain't gonna what's wrong with you? Say? Man? All I'm
- 26:57Speaker 1: saying is, if you're gonna be open and laying on
- 26:59Speaker 1: the table, what is it gonna hurt? Old man, you're

- 27:14Speaker 1: and I can't call you that you're gonna feel a
- 27:16Speaker 1: damn thing. How about that? I'll be damned if you're
- 27:19Speaker 1: gonna call and talk to me out of one of
- 27:21Speaker 1: my damn kittings. Man, I'm trying to live just like you,
- 27:24Speaker 1: trying to let the Lord take care of me, because
- 27:26Speaker 1: what you're talking about it ain't got a damn thing
- 27:27Speaker 1: to do with Jesus. You can kiss my and get
- 27:30Speaker 1: off my phone, that's what you can do. Can I

- 28:56Speaker 1: the top of the hour, Entertainment news right after this

- 29:25Speaker 1: She was a painter, a writer, and designer, but also

- 29:53Speaker 1: She had been married four times, divorced three times. In
- 29:55Speaker 1: widowed want Miss Vanderbilt leaves behind us should say four adults, sons,
- 30:00Speaker 1: including Anderson Cooper, and our condolence is going out to
- 30:04Speaker 1: Anderson Cooper and his family. Wow. Yeah, I watched the
- 30:12Speaker 1: They did a piece last night to Steve later on,
- 30:15Speaker 1: you know, during Anderson Show. Obviously he wasn't there, and
- 30:19Speaker 1: they did a piece and I cried. It was just
- 30:22Speaker 1: so sad. I mean, I'm interviewing. He did a piece
- 30:25Speaker 1: about his mother, his mother's life and her legacy, and
- 30:29Speaker 1: I was just started thinking about my mom. I was like, yeah,
- 30:32Speaker 1: dog man, it's it's just a lot going on. Yeah,
- 30:38Speaker 1: but definitely, definitely condolence is going out to Anderson Cooper
- 30:43Speaker 1: again and his family and other entertainment news. Blue Ivy
- 30:47Speaker 1: Carter is on her way to becoming a star. At
- 30:50Speaker 1: least that's the way it seems based on her performance
- 30:53Speaker 1: at a big dance recital. Beyonce and jay z seven
- 30:57Speaker 1: year old daughter while she's seven now. She took center
- 31:00Speaker 1: stage at the Debbie Allen Dance Academy in LA and

- 31:20Speaker 1: in the car I was. Lexus gave me this car.
- 31:24Speaker 1: They sponsored a golf tournament, so they gave me and

- 32:28Speaker 1: him now. Man, I've been chopping it over my kids. Man,
- 32:32Speaker 1: that's a good thing, right, I'm scared though. My little
- 32:36Speaker 1: girl talking about boys. Yeah, it's about that time summit.
- 32:42Speaker 1: She's fourteen, went to a teen summit, you talk. Oh
- 32:45Speaker 1: my god, daddy, the boys were so cute. Daddy. Ain't
- 32:50Speaker 1: there yet? You talking about Sydney? Yes, yeah, wow man, yeah,
- 32:57Speaker 1: all right, Steve, we gotta move on. Get to today's headline,
- 33:00Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, miss Anne Tripp, Thanks Steve, Thanks everybody.
- 33:04Speaker 1: This is a trip with the news in good morning,
- 33:06Speaker 1: the Trump administration sending an additional one thousand troops to
- 33:10Speaker 1: the Middle East in response to what the White House
- 33:12Speaker 1: claims is the hostile behavior of Iranian forces. This decision
- 33:16Speaker 1: coming as Secretary of State Mike pump Payer reaches out
- 33:18Speaker 1: to Asian and European leaders to try and convince them
- 33:21Speaker 1: that Iran was behind a recent alleged attack on two
- 33:24Speaker 1: oil tank as i Ron denies that. By the way,
- 33:26Speaker 1: President Trump took to the twitterverse last night threatened to
- 33:29Speaker 1: deport illegal immigrants, saying that quote next week, ICE will
- 33:32Speaker 1: be in the process of removing the millions of illegal
- 33:35Speaker 1: aliens who have illicitly found their way into the United States.
- 33:38Speaker 1: They would be removed as fast as they come in.
- 33:41Speaker 1: Of course, Trump is officially kicking off his reelection campaign
- 33:44Speaker 1: tonight with a rally and Orlando, Florida. Yesterday, he claimed
- 33:48Speaker 1: that the US stock market would crash if he were
- 33:50Speaker 1: not re elected. Democrats have actually been handed a victory
- 33:54Speaker 1: by the right wing leaning the US Supreme Court on
- 33:56Speaker 1: the voters rights issue. A legislative districts drawn in virgin
- 34:00Speaker 1: already judged by the High Court to have been racially
- 34:03Speaker 1: jerrymandered in order, and they were ordered to redrawn. Those
- 34:06Speaker 1: newly drawn lines are going to have to stay that way.
- 34:09Speaker 1: The old electoral districts were found to have been drawn
- 34:11Speaker 1: to benefit whites and specifically Republicans. The GOP dominator Virginia
- 34:15Speaker 1: House sought to have them restored. However, because the case
- 34:18Speaker 1: was only brought by one of the state houses and
- 34:20Speaker 1: not both. The High Court refused to consider it because,
- 34:23Speaker 1: as Judge of Ruth Bader Ginsburg writes, one house of
- 34:25Speaker 1: the states bicameral legislature cannot alone continue litigation against the
- 34:30Speaker 1: will of its partners in the legislator. Probably basically, it's
- 34:33Speaker 1: going to stay where it is. The US State Department
- 34:35Speaker 1: official has confirmed the death of yet another American tourist
- 34:38Speaker 1: in the Dominican Republic, this time a fifty five year
- 34:41Speaker 1: old man named Joseph Allen of Avanelle, New Jersey, was
- 34:45Speaker 1: found dead in his hotel room. His family says Allen
- 34:48Speaker 1: was so healthy for the most part. He said he
- 34:50Speaker 1: was feeling a little funny, he went to his room,
- 34:52Speaker 1: and he was later found dead. He was a frequent
- 34:54Speaker 1: tourist to the dr Allen is the sixth Black American
- 34:57Speaker 1: to dine in the Dominican Republic under questionable circumstances. There
- 35:00Speaker 1: are a total of four whites who have died, as
- 35:02Speaker 1: well as another white woman who was found badly pummeled
- 35:05Speaker 1: on resort grounds. So far, there have been no arrests.
- 35:10Speaker 1: Rapper TI reportedly lending his voice to a project involving
- 35:13Speaker 1: the late Reverend Martin Luther King Junior's church in Atlanta,
- 35:16Speaker 1: the historic Ebenezer Baptist Church, began a three day conference
- 35:19Speaker 1: yesterday to address mass incarceration. They're talking about doing a
- 35:23Speaker 1: lot of things. TI is helping to actually bail out
- 35:26Speaker 1: dozens of poor suspects in the Atlanta area. Other way,
- 35:28Speaker 1: he's really putting his money where his mouth is. And finally,
- 35:31Speaker 1: today is a National Understanding Day. In other words, the
- 35:34Speaker 1: reason that I did that and I recorded this is
- 35:37Speaker 1: to protect her anyway means can you dig it? Can
- 35:41Speaker 1: you dig it? Can you really really dig not? Back
- 35:43Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to the
- 35:46Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Show and Trending Entertainment News. We talked about
- 35:51Speaker 1: this yesterday, Steve, you brought this up. Actually O. J.
- 35:54Speaker 1: Simpson has joined Twitter. Of all days he chose to
- 35:59Speaker 1: join Twitter, it was, you know, the twenty fifth anniversary
- 36:03Speaker 1: of the double murder, which he was acquitted and the
- 36:06Speaker 1: world believes, of course he's so many in the world
- 36:08Speaker 1: believe that he's one hundred percent guilty. Uh. And it
- 36:11Speaker 1: was also yeah, yes we do. It was also the
- 36:14Speaker 1: anniversary of the Low Speed Chase. Remember that in the White,
- 36:17Speaker 1: Bronco him and ac somebody said he found a high
- 36:21Speaker 1: metrophe in the bush. You know who said that I
- 36:29Speaker 1: was fifteen tan of my mama living and who said
- 36:34Speaker 1: that Junior? See you think he might do you think
- 36:39Speaker 1: he might try to say something about your your performance
- 36:42Speaker 1: or anything like that from the last bagou did a
- 36:46Speaker 1: lot of people. Well, that's what he said, he has
- 36:47Speaker 1: some getting back to do. Well. The first tweet he did,
- 36:50Speaker 1: Um he said that. Um, he said he had a
- 36:52Speaker 1: little getting even to do. That was his exact quote.
- 36:55Speaker 1: His new Twitter account will allow him to set the
- 36:57Speaker 1: record straight on a lot of stuff. He denied the
- 37:00Speaker 1: ongoing rumors. This was like his first tweet about him
- 37:03Speaker 1: being Chloe Kardashian's father, Okay, because that was a rumor
- 37:07Speaker 1: for a long time. He said, the simple fact of
- 37:10Speaker 1: the matter is she's not mine, meaning Chloe Kardashian. OJ
- 37:14Speaker 1: swore that he never slept with Chris Jenner, saying, I
- 37:17Speaker 1: want to stress never, in any way, shape or form,
- 37:20Speaker 1: have I ever had any interest in Kim in Chris
- 37:23Speaker 1: romantically or sexually. And I never got any indication that
- 37:27Speaker 1: she ever had any interest in me. All Right, So
- 37:30Speaker 1: he set the record straight. So all of those stories
- 37:34Speaker 1: he said are just bogus, bad and tasteless. They say
- 37:38Speaker 1: he's got over what six hundred thousand followers already cut
- 37:43Speaker 1: up over him. A lot of people are following him.
- 37:46Speaker 1: He just found him. Yeah, they over six hundred thousand.
- 37:50Speaker 1: I heard that was the last I heard. It might
- 37:52Speaker 1: be more than that. Now I lived in La then,
- 37:55Speaker 1: you know, man was somewhere. He gonna mess around, but
- 38:00Speaker 1: he can't. He gonna mess around and get his assmobation.
- 38:06Speaker 1: He can't sit down. We tried to tell him that
- 38:09Speaker 1: after he got away with murder then, and mess around
- 38:14Speaker 1: ain't really the phrase. I don't say what he ought
- 38:16Speaker 1: to say, and I ain't mess around. Well you say,
- 38:21Speaker 1: you say, know what it is? Call a call. Ain't
- 38:24Speaker 1: on living, So let me just be we all know. Yeah,
- 38:31Speaker 1: so I wonder why that was the first thing he
- 38:33Speaker 1: chose to tweet about though, the fact that he's not
- 38:35Speaker 1: Chloe Kardashian's dad. He ain't tweeted that. He ain't nobody know.
- 38:43Speaker 1: But but he did say I got to clear that
- 38:46Speaker 1: at the first. Yeah, you would think, right, he did say,
- 38:49Speaker 1: I have a little getting even to do all right,
- 38:51Speaker 1: coming up next at thirty four after the hour and
- 38:54Speaker 1: trending viral video news the Phoenix mayor and police chief
- 38:57Speaker 1: apologize after cops draw guns when a four year old
- 39:00Speaker 1: girl leaves a store, a dollar store with a Barbie doll.
- 39:03Speaker 1: We'll talk about that right after this. You're listening to show.
- 39:08Speaker 1: The mayor and police chief in Phoenix, Arizona are apologizing
- 39:12Speaker 1: after a video went viral showing an officer shouting profanities
- 39:16Speaker 1: I mean, oh f bombs all over the place and
- 39:21Speaker 1: pulling a gun on a father and a pregnant mother
- 39:23Speaker 1: after a four year old girl walked out of a
- 39:25Speaker 1: dollar store with a Barbie doll. The parents have filed
- 39:28Speaker 1: a ten million dollar lawsuit claiming against the city. This
- 39:33Speaker 1: is a claim against the city in which they alleged
- 39:35Speaker 1: their civil rights were violated. A statement from Phoenix Police
- 39:39Speaker 1: referred to extremely offensive and unprofessional language and actions by officers,
- 39:44Speaker 1: and the city has apologized. The family has described the
- 39:48Speaker 1: apology as a sham and lacking all substance. The officers
- 39:51Speaker 1: involved have been removed from patrol duty and placed on
- 39:54Speaker 1: desk assignment while the investigation unfolds. Now, is this the
- 39:59Speaker 1: case where a jay Z has offered them legal Yes? Yeah,
- 40:04Speaker 1: rock Nation. Yeah, how do these officers feel threatened? At
- 40:08Speaker 1: what point were they threatened? I saw the video. Man.
- 40:11Speaker 1: First of all, we're talking about a little girl and
- 40:14Speaker 1: a woman, a four year old girl, that nobody had
- 40:17Speaker 1: a weapon. There was not any reports of somebody with
- 40:20Speaker 1: the weapon. And what they were saying to this woman
- 40:23Speaker 1: get out the blanking car yet, blanket car. You're gonna
- 40:28Speaker 1: get your blank I'll blow you in your bank, I'll
- 40:31Speaker 1: shoot you in your blanking head. Get out the blank
- 40:34Speaker 1: man and they were trying to respond to them, but
- 40:38Speaker 1: he was just being asked. I don't know, I don't
- 40:44Speaker 1: know what you call it. He was just but he
- 40:47Speaker 1: was being as provocative, provoking as he could be. Just
- 40:52Speaker 1: give me a reason, yeah, exactly. And he wanted her
- 40:55Speaker 1: to put her baby down, right. He kept saying, your
- 40:57Speaker 1: hands up, and she was I'm holding my baby, and
- 41:00Speaker 1: the and the and the man was saying, I am cooperating, sir,
- 41:03Speaker 1: I am. Oh. They had him handcuff and kicking him off.
- 41:08Speaker 1: Yeah it, oh, dog man, dog man. If it wasn't
- 41:13Speaker 1: for social media, people still wouldn't believe what's going on.
- 41:18Speaker 1: But now he's his his here's with this because you
- 41:22Speaker 1: have some people in what was it, Phoenix against Pool
- 41:27Speaker 1: are trying to do something right about it. There's an
- 41:31Speaker 1: apology from the mayor, an apology from the police chief,
- 41:35Speaker 1: a suspension, put him on desk shop. Now that's the
- 41:39Speaker 1: least shit happened to these people. But can't tell you
- 41:42Speaker 1: what that's the exact same thing happening. If you just
- 41:44Speaker 1: kill a black person. Hello, Yes, that's that's that's that's
- 41:49Speaker 1: what's alarming. It's the same treatment for killing a black person. Now,
- 41:56Speaker 1: I applaud the Phoenix Police Department for doing something in
- 42:02Speaker 1: the right direction for something that ended up not being
- 42:06Speaker 1: a fatality. And thank god they didn't shoot this woman
- 42:10Speaker 1: or this baby. Yes, now, anybody for a dog going
- 42:16Speaker 1: out of a dollar stove. I mean, man, it's a
- 42:23Speaker 1: dollar stove. They didn't come out the bank with a
- 42:27Speaker 1: sack of money. That was a doll involved. There was
- 42:31Speaker 1: no they did it at gunpoint, they had a knife,
- 42:34Speaker 1: they made me give them the dog. It was none
- 42:36Speaker 1: of that. And the reaction to the police was way
- 42:40Speaker 1: too much. So now let us take a note of this.
- 42:43Speaker 1: If this is the reaction to this, come on, wow,
- 42:47Speaker 1: can't you easily see now how when they have what
- 42:51Speaker 1: they think is just caused. How they so easily murder
- 42:56Speaker 1: us down, Yes, because they don't care, easily mother, child,
- 43:01Speaker 1: pregnant mother, They don't care. And then what happens is
- 43:05Speaker 1: the repercussions are never there as they should be. Now,
- 43:09Speaker 1: the black dude that killed the white lady recently down
- 43:14Speaker 1: nine one, yes, yea, Now he got what you're supposed
- 43:18Speaker 1: to get. What get years? Yeah, but he got time
- 43:24Speaker 1: for shooting this woman. That's what's supposed to happen. But
- 43:29Speaker 1: it does not happen if the police officer is white
- 43:33Speaker 1: and the victim is black. But the lect the police
- 43:37Speaker 1: officer be black and the victim be white. His answer
- 43:41Speaker 1: is going to jail. Oh yeah, oh yeah, somebody's gonna
- 43:44Speaker 1: pay for that. You got that right, And now he's
- 43:45Speaker 1: supposed to go to jail for that. But then let's
- 43:49Speaker 1: flip the script and everybody else should go too. Yeah,
- 43:53Speaker 1: I think I'm right about this, all right, nephew telling
- 43:58Speaker 1: me is up next with the frank phone call right
- 44:00Speaker 1: after this you're listening to show coming up at the
- 44:05Speaker 1: top of the hour, right about four minutes after it's
- 44:07Speaker 1: my strawberry letter for today, subject A father should never
- 44:11Speaker 1: have to see that right now. The nephew is in
- 44:15Speaker 1: the building with today's prank phone call. What you got
- 44:18Speaker 1: for is neff? Well they're still doing it. Huh. Hot
- 44:22Speaker 1: chicks at the church. Oh, hot chick at the church,
- 44:29Speaker 1: still going on, still going on. You can do direct positive,
- 44:34Speaker 1: but they're doing hot the Lord direct the positive. Well,
- 44:39Speaker 1: you know cash at the time, you could do it.
- 44:44Speaker 1: You know, I don't know how we Goay, Steve has
- 44:48Speaker 1: no idea what we're talking about. We say cash appell nobody, dog,
- 44:53Speaker 1: you ain't never done that. I don't know what set
- 44:58Speaker 1: up on. Let's try it. Yeah, everybody to let you stuff.
- 45:04Speaker 1: We get it? You got it? How much can you
- 45:07Speaker 1: see it? I sent up to the least three grand
- 45:09Speaker 1: before so you can see decent. No, I can't put
- 45:13Speaker 1: my account number on an app. I think you can.
- 45:17Speaker 1: You open your wife and get your debit coats and
- 45:19Speaker 1: connect right away. I believe. Let's get into this break though.
- 45:24Speaker 1: All right, Hot checks at the church, Let's go catch Hello. Hello,
- 45:29Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach you Monica system, Monica Please, who's calling?
- 45:34Speaker 1: This is Brother Deshan. I'm calling Actually I'm a member
- 45:37Speaker 1: Greater Commissionary Baptist Church. How can I help you calling
- 45:41Speaker 1: you actually about the offering? Now did you I know
- 45:43Speaker 1: you paid your ties every Sunday? Okay? Now you paid
- 45:47Speaker 1: a love offering as well? Right, yes, I do? Okay,
- 45:51Speaker 1: Now this past Sunday. I'm looking at a check that
- 45:54Speaker 1: you left us with the bank, right, right, I sure
- 45:58Speaker 1: did check Sunday. Now the check, ma'am was two hundred
- 46:03Speaker 1: and fifty dollars, Am I correct? Right? Right? I wrote
- 46:06Speaker 1: two checks for my ties and the love offering. Right,
- 46:09Speaker 1: I wrote one for two fifty for the love offering. Okay,
- 46:11Speaker 1: Now what is this call regarding? Why are you calling me? Well,
- 46:15Speaker 1: what I wanted to tell you is that I hate
- 46:17Speaker 1: to be a bar of bad news, but your check
- 46:20Speaker 1: that you wrote for two fifty actually has bounced. And
- 46:25Speaker 1: wait a minute, you said my check bounce for two
- 46:27Speaker 1: hundred and fifty dollars. Your check bounce. So what I'm
- 46:31Speaker 1: doing is calling you about recouping the two fifty as
- 46:34Speaker 1: well as you know you you cost us thirty dollars
- 46:39Speaker 1: in bank fees. But wait a minute, now, I wrote
- 46:41Speaker 1: two checks. I wrote a check for one hundred dollars.
- 46:43Speaker 1: Did that one bounce? I don't see to it that
- 46:46Speaker 1: that that one bounced. All I know is the one
- 46:48Speaker 1: that the love offering has bounced. What did you put
- 46:50Speaker 1: them in at the same time? Because I wrote them
- 46:52Speaker 1: at the same time. They all go in on Monday, ma'am.
- 46:55Speaker 1: Now I didn't put them in at the same time.
- 46:57Speaker 1: I've been putting them in for the last two three years.
- 46:59Speaker 1: The problem is why would people write them? What is
- 47:01Speaker 1: your name, m brother DeShawn? And you was at it Sunday?
- 47:05Speaker 1: I was. I don't think it matters when when I
- 47:07Speaker 1: was there, man. The problem is it that I didn't
- 47:09Speaker 1: put these checks in. And I don't understand why y'all
- 47:12Speaker 1: write these checks to the track knowing that they're gonna bounce,
- 47:16Speaker 1: because a lot of people write that good well not
- 47:18Speaker 1: right bad checks? Why one clear? Why the other one
- 47:21Speaker 1: didn't clear? Maybe you didn't have enough money for both
- 47:23Speaker 1: of them to clear? What what did you just say?
- 47:27Speaker 1: Maybe you didn't have enough money in the bank for
- 47:29Speaker 1: both of them to clear. I don't understand why people
- 47:30Speaker 1: might planning money in the bank at all. My checks clear.
- 47:34Speaker 1: I don't write no rubber checks. Well, you wrote one
- 47:37Speaker 1: on Sunday, and that's the problem. How are you gonna
- 47:39Speaker 1: try to give a look you wait a minute, I
- 47:41Speaker 1: think you got me confused with somebody else. I don't
- 47:43Speaker 1: write no bad checks. You didn't wrote that to be
- 47:46Speaker 1: nice to you. I'm trying to be nice to you.
- 47:48Speaker 1: Win up. Can we expect the two fifty plus the
- 47:50Speaker 1: thirty dollars? So thirty dollars? That's the bank feeds man
- 47:54Speaker 1: for the doll gonna check bouncing. My check didn't bounce.
- 47:57Speaker 1: I don't check my bank. And if my check clear,
- 48:00Speaker 1: you're gonna pay me thirty dollars for calling me harassing
- 48:02Speaker 1: me about a two hundred and fifty dollar check bounce.
- 48:05Speaker 1: I don't write no Why would you write check? What
- 48:08Speaker 1: you want to sit up in the church and write
- 48:09Speaker 1: these big number checks when you know you ain't got
- 48:12Speaker 1: it in the bank. What did you say? I said,
- 48:14Speaker 1: why would you write these checks when the money ain't
- 48:17Speaker 1: in there? Let me tell you that's one thing. I
- 48:20Speaker 1: don't write no bad checks. And you got a lot
- 48:23Speaker 1: nerds calling me telling me my check bounce. Yo check
- 48:26Speaker 1: is the one that has bounced. And you tell you
- 48:28Speaker 1: what you do since my check bounce, you paid them,
- 48:31Speaker 1: since you got all the money, and don't call me
- 48:33Speaker 1: with this again. Hello, don't you hang up? On me
- 48:39Speaker 1: no more. Why don't we gonna get this two fifty
- 48:41Speaker 1: and this thirty dollars? Somebody from the church tobody? I
- 48:46Speaker 1: wrote a bad check, I'll write no, you did write
- 48:49Speaker 1: a bad check. I didn't write no bad Yes, why
- 48:52Speaker 1: are you calling me? Why the treasure? Don't call me
- 48:55Speaker 1: at church? The treasure is business. I ain't ever know
- 48:58Speaker 1: the deacon called nobody about no bad check? Your bullet?
- 49:04Speaker 1: Thank you? You got the money I ain't got Who
- 49:07Speaker 1: in the hell is that in the background? Who is
- 49:08Speaker 1: that ever? Mine? Who it is? We both go to
- 49:11Speaker 1: the same church, and you're gonna call me to my
- 49:13Speaker 1: I wrote a bad checks? You don't you call me
- 49:15Speaker 1: no more? And if the check bads, you paid? Okay?
- 49:19Speaker 1: Keep passed to know? You talking like this? You pass
- 49:21Speaker 1: to No you calling me? Can you ask for that? Look?
- 49:25Speaker 1: When are we gonna get this? Two hundred and eighty dollars?
- 49:27Speaker 1: Is what we're looking for from you? I wrote a
- 49:29Speaker 1: check for two fifty and not get two eighty. You
- 49:32Speaker 1: put the thirty dollars with it. You put two fifty
- 49:35Speaker 1: in there. It bounce. Thirty dollars cost us on baked fees.
- 49:39Speaker 1: That's two eighty Where can the church expect the money?
- 49:42Speaker 1: Never not No two eighty. You will never get to eighty.
- 49:46Speaker 1: You're gonna make me come by your and my check

- 49:58Speaker 1: off the check your own. I bet you you'll be
- 50:01Speaker 1: limping back and I'm watching you. You bet not be
- 50:04Speaker 1: spending no money nowhere. You bet not spend nothing until

- 50:10Speaker 1: to Okay, No, you you know where I am, and
- 50:13Speaker 1: you don't call me no more with this because my

- 51:45Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show? That is I check out the church?
- 51:54Speaker 1: Oh lord? You know dard cash happen and zealing do
- 51:58Speaker 1: it like that. That's easy, simple. You know, past ain't
- 52:02Speaker 1: got time all the hot checks. It's too much on

- 52:10Speaker 1: lot of issues that big business. You gotta understand. I
- 52:14Speaker 1: ain't got churches, and I got ATMs in it. You
- 52:16Speaker 1: know that? Oh do they? Yeah? And they got a
- 52:19Speaker 1: place where you can swipe a church and pay your
- 52:22Speaker 1: ties right there. I didn't know that. Oh yes, Wow,
- 52:25Speaker 1: I get a monthly statement from my church. How much
- 52:29Speaker 1: we give on our ties built the past. We're gonna wait,
- 52:34Speaker 1: he gonna wait. What do you mean? That means he
- 52:36Speaker 1: can wait to all of them offering pains, get back

- 53:45Speaker 1: Let's go buckle up a hole on type. We got
- 53:47Speaker 1: it for you here. It is the Strawberry Letter, Oh lord,
- 53:51Speaker 1: subject to father, should never have to see that. Dear
- 53:55Speaker 1: mister Harvey and miss Strawberry. I am a twenty two
- 53:57Speaker 1: year old guy and my girlfriend is twin one. She
- 54:00Speaker 1: still lives at home, and she's a virgin, so we've
- 54:04Speaker 1: been taking it slow in the sex department. I am
- 54:07Speaker 1: falling in love with this girl, and I think she
- 54:10Speaker 1: loves me. My birthday was two weeks ago and she
- 54:13Speaker 1: treated me to dinner as I was dropping her off
- 54:16Speaker 1: at home. She told me to pull over before I
- 54:19Speaker 1: got to her house so she could give me a
- 54:21Speaker 1: surprise for my birthday. I pulled over a block away
- 54:25Speaker 1: from her house. We started making out in the car,
- 54:28Speaker 1: and then she leaned in and gave me a very
- 54:31Speaker 1: special birthday present. It was something I had never received before,
- 54:37Speaker 1: if you know what I mean. While this was happening,
- 54:42Speaker 1: listen to this though. While this was happening, I wasn't
- 54:45Speaker 1: paying attention to what was going on around me, and
- 54:48Speaker 1: I certainly didn't notice that her dad had pulled up
- 54:52Speaker 1: behind my card yes, yeah, yes, okay, I'll read it again.
- 55:00Speaker 1: You ain't got right, okay, yeah, yeah, no, all right. So,
- 55:10Speaker 1: like he said, he wasn't paying attention to what was
- 55:12Speaker 1: going around going on around him, and he certainly didn't
- 55:16Speaker 1: notice that her dad had pulled up behind the car.
- 55:18Speaker 1: And at the worst possible moment, at the worst possible moment,
- 55:25Speaker 1: her dad was right there looking through my car window.
- 55:30Speaker 1: I screamed, I need a scream from you right here, Steve. Please,
- 55:36Speaker 1: you can't scream right too much. I love the way
- 55:39Speaker 1: you scream. Come on, I screamed, My girlfriend screamed, and
- 55:46Speaker 1: her dad yelled for her to get out of the car.
- 55:50Speaker 1: He told me if he ever saw me again, he
- 55:53Speaker 1: would put his boot in my white A S. S.
- 56:00Speaker 1: Excuse me, but that's what he said. I'm a white
- 56:03Speaker 1: guy and my girlfriend is black. So do you go? So?
- 56:07Speaker 1: Do you think he had a problem with the fact
- 56:10Speaker 1: that I'm white? Or was he just mad about what
- 56:13Speaker 1: his daughter was doing to me? I have been dating
- 56:15Speaker 1: her for a few months and race has never been
- 56:19Speaker 1: an issue. We have snucked to see each other once.
- 56:23Speaker 1: We have snucked to see each other once since this happened.
- 56:25Speaker 1: But I don't want to get hurt because my girl
- 56:28Speaker 1: said her dad was very serious about what he said.
- 56:31Speaker 1: She won't admit to her dad that it was her idea,
- 56:34Speaker 1: and I don't blame her, but I don't want to
- 56:36Speaker 1: look like the bad guy here. How can I fix
- 56:39Speaker 1: things with her dad? Or should I just stay away
- 56:41Speaker 1: from her? Please? Help? Well, you ask what is he
- 56:45Speaker 1: mad about? Is he mad about the fact that you're white?
- 56:47Speaker 1: Or was it what she was doing to you? And
- 56:51Speaker 1: I say to you all of the above. He's mad
- 56:56Speaker 1: at everything. He's mad at the fact that you were white.
- 56:58Speaker 1: He's mad at the fact of what she was doing
- 57:01Speaker 1: to you. You gotta put yourself in her dad's shoes
- 57:03Speaker 1: if you can. You roll up on your daughter and
- 57:06Speaker 1: she's pleasuring some guy okay, in her car. I guarantee
- 57:13Speaker 1: you you would feel some kind of way to see
- 57:16Speaker 1: your daughter in that way. But it just produces all
- 57:18Speaker 1: kind of shock and hurt and disappointment from a parent
- 57:22Speaker 1: that you can't even imagine. So I can't say that
- 57:25Speaker 1: it's just one thing that her pops was upset about. Again,
- 57:28Speaker 1: I think he's mad about everything. The fact that you're white.
- 57:31Speaker 1: I'm sure HadAM shook, and I'm not gonna lie to
- 57:35Speaker 1: you about that because I'm sure that played a part.
- 57:38Speaker 1: But again, all of this is just something. You know.
- 57:42Speaker 1: You don't want to see your child doing this, just
- 57:44Speaker 1: like children say they don't ever want to see their
- 57:46Speaker 1: parents getting busy, well, their parents certainly don't want to
- 57:49Speaker 1: see it from their kids busting up in the dodec. Sorry, okay,
- 57:55Speaker 1: a little personal for you, didn't a nephew. I do suggest,
- 58:00Speaker 1: I do suggest, though, young man, that you stay away,
- 58:03Speaker 1: especially until things calm down, and I don't know that
- 58:06Speaker 1: they ever will because of the lie that the daughter
- 58:09Speaker 1: told the father that it was not her fault. So um.
- 58:13Speaker 1: You know, her dad is just really angry and upset
- 58:17Speaker 1: right now, and you're the last person he wants to see.
- 58:21Speaker 1: So there's nothing you can do now. You know, there's
- 58:23Speaker 1: a saying that says time heals all wounds. Maybe sometime
- 58:26Speaker 1: in the future you can call if you really love her,
- 58:29Speaker 1: because you said you love her, so you know, maybe
- 58:32Speaker 1: you can call and talk to the father at some point.
- 58:35Speaker 1: But right now, my suggestion, my advice to you, is
- 58:38Speaker 1: to stay away from that situation because you will get hurt. Steve.
- 58:46Speaker 1: This is by Yeah boy, boy, Yeah, you have daughter crazy.
- 59:00Speaker 1: I understand everybody in this letter. I understand the boy,
- 59:08Speaker 1: I understand the father. We have a situation here. The
- 59:14Speaker 1: girl gave you a birthday surprise a block away from
- 59:19Speaker 1: her house. Now y'all making out in the car. Then
- 59:22Speaker 1: she leaned in and get you a very special birthday present,
- 59:26Speaker 1: and it was something I had never received before. If

- 59:33Speaker 1: mind right now, boy, I know exactly what you mean.
- 59:37Speaker 1: While this was happening, I wasn't paying much attention to
- 59:40Speaker 1: what's going around. You can't, you can't you focus this ship,
- 59:45Speaker 1: you focus the shot, your guys, are is open but
- 59:48Speaker 1: to shut because you pus facing the back of your head.
- 59:51Speaker 1: You're actually looking at your brain with your eyes and
- 59:53Speaker 1: you ain't never seen before, so you don't even realize it.
- 59:56Speaker 1: But your eyes is well, but you can't see nothing
- 59:59Speaker 1: but your day. I'm I knew you were gonna scre
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: It is happening, all right, listen. We'll have part two
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: of Steve's response coming up at twenty three after the hour.
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: Subject of today's Strawberry letter, A father should never have
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: to see that. Right after this. You're listening, all right, Steve,
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: Come on, Let's recap today's Strawberry Letters. Subject A father
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: should never have to see that. This boy been dating
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: this girl. He twenty two twenty one. She a virgin.
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: They've been taking this slow for sex. Respectful, but he say,
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: fallen in love with this gun. Thanks, She fallen in
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: love with you. Your birthday was two weeks ago. She
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: treated me to dinner. I was dropping off at home
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: and she told me to pull over for I got
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: to the house, so she gave me a surprise from
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: my birthday. I pulled over about block away from the crib.
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: Were in a car. We started making out and here
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: this way, all hell broke those she started, Oh leaned
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: in and game a very special birthday press. You keep
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: reading that over and over again, very very very special.
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: It's the first time, I'm sure, and it was something
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: that I had never received before. If you know what
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: I mean, I know exactly exactly what you mean, because
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: when it first happened, you don't know what to call.
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: So you was in here and it like you're being ravaged.
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: It's like, oh, all your senses have been taken away.
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: You have drifted off in two an abyss. The world
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: doesn't stop turning for you. The car engine ain't o
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: no more. You ain't in ther har you in heaven
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: as the process continues. Your eyes, you say in the letter,
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: when this was happening, I wasn't paying attention to what
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: was going on around me. Boy, boy, we know exactly
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: what you You can't pay attention. You can't pay too
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: much of nothing right now. You don't know where your
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: hands are. You don't know why your teeth is gritting
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: the way they are. You can't understand why your eyes
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: is open but you can't see because your pupils are
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: pointed the other way. You're looking at your brain, and
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: you've never seen it before. H You just saying things
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: that she speaking in a language similar to what church
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: folks do back digit, careful, liberally, good to All of
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: this is going on, and then while you wasn't paying attention,
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: you notice that her dad, You didn't notice that her
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: dad had pulled up behind your car at the worst
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: possible moment. Her dad was right down looking through my mind.
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: What is the worst possible moment. Well, let me remind you,
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: for those that have for good, the worst possible moment
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: is to try to clamp the water holes. Yeah, why
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: are you washing the car? But the first yeah, yeah,
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: see you when you washing the car and you ain't
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: got no niles alone it and you need to stop
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: that stream of water from going on your car. You
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: got to clamping shut. Now you could run the risk
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: of putting a hole in that hole. Really, it's what
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: I'm saying about washing cars. So you are now at
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: the wash the car moment, and her damn daddy is
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: looking dead in the window. I would imagine at this
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: point your head was facing the ceiling, your foot was
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: nothing but in Adam's apple. But the words that's coming,
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: I am these incoherent noises your dad, Her daddy wants
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: to bust that damn car window. And then her dad
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: was right there looking through my car. One you notice
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: it because it's somebody having a big black man looking
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: at you. Why are you at the worst possible moment?
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: And all of a sudden you screamed. The girl screamed,
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: and her dad yelled her to get out of card
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: told me if he ever saw me again, he gonna
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: put his boot in my white ass. Now excuse me,
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: that's what he said, because I'm a white guy, my
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: girlfriend and black. Do you think he had a problem
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: with the fact that I'm white. Yes, he had a
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: problem right then and now if you didn't know it before,
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: you know it now ever can see you again, I'm
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: gonna put my foot in your white ass because yes,
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: he's got a problem with you being white right now.
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: He didn't have to bring it up before, but now
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: to you down here with his daughter, he'd have brought
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: it up. I've been dating it for a few months
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: down race has never been an issue? What if? Why not?

- 1:06:39Speaker 1: after that. Host. You're listening to Harvey Morning Show. The
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: Toronto Raptors celebrated their first ever NBA championship on Monday.
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: I know, Steve, I know, with an epic victory parade
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: in Toronto. The mayor also declared yesterday as the We

- 1:07:12Speaker 1: the arrests were made and the celebration did continue. Kawhi
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: Leonard told the loyal Raptors fans thank you, and they
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: chanted five more years to keep Kawhi, so they want
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: to keep him. Yeah, what do you say after that? Though? Yeah?
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: He said, hold on Lebron calling, hold on, let me kiss.
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: What do you think, Steve? I know, I know, well,
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: I mean it's sad about the shooting, Yeah, very much.
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: So it's amazing that people can't go somewhere and have
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: a nice time anymore without some butthole somewhere with a
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: damn gun. But congratulations to them. But you know you
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: won't be repeating so kawahiks stay all goal. You will
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: not be read. He know that well already. How I
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: know that who they're gonna play next time? Oh? No,
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: but this, Oh, I'll tell you right now. I'll tell
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: you right now, Lebron and they d gonna be in
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: the final right now now. We gotta be on nothing else.

- 1:08:36Speaker 1: y'all andy, and y'all live and die by the three
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: pointers about it. It's a game six James Harden. Oh,
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: he's the truth now, Chris Paul Chris Paul is the truth.
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: And then after that, right after that, no, I mean
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: you got some boys on your team. That's good. But
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: but y'all's whole game is shooting threes, Bob between October
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: and April. But soon as you put playoff in front,
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: we're coming home. All right, listen, coming up at the
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: top of the our dream job. If you could get
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: paid to travel the US to taste one type of food,

- 1:10:00Speaker 1: I'm actually detoxing. I started detoxing. Yes, but think about
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: it though. The company said the chief grilling officer will
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: receive ten thousand dollars plus prepay travel and lodging costs
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: to travel the country for two weeks in August while
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: tasting and savoring barbecue ribs from some of the top

- 1:12:07Speaker 1: That's like Cleland too. If everybody at a barbecue place
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: and know the cook name, that's a good place. Like right,
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: Like what's happening right Alabama? Alabama gonna give everybody a
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: little bit of run. They got some joints up in
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: there in Kansas City. Everybody just started, Man, we don't

- 1:13:43Speaker 1: I know, I know, But don't do that because he
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: ain't gonna like the result. Henna lose, like, don't. I'm
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: just gonna Tommy, Tommy that I cook with you, dog,

- 1:14:10Speaker 1: twenty minutes right after this, you're listening to show a
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: quick note to President Trump staffers, do not cough please
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: while the boss is doing an interview. Do not do that. Okay.
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: He really hates it. During Trump's Oval office interview with
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: George Stephanopolis from ABC last week, he kicked the president
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: kick Chief of Staff Mike Mulvaaney out of the room
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: because he coughed. Trump was responding to a question about
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: his financial statements and whether he would ever release them
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: to the Senate. When a cough was heard off camera,
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: Trump stopped the interview, pointed at mulrooney, and said, let's
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: do that over. He's coughing in the middle of my answer.
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: I don't like that. If you're gonna cough, please leave
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: the room. He and coughing. He was choking, but right,
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: he was choking because of all those lies the President
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: was telling. But I really, I really thought that's what
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: it was. You know, like you go, you know you're
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: telling you're talking too much. What I thought it was
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: a signal, yeah, like hey shut up, yeah anyway. Yeah.
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: Mister Trump, of course is a television guy, so he
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: knew that the shot was ruined when someone coughed, and
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: he is also known as a germophobe Tommy, so coughing
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: must drive him a little bit. Bananas, don't tell me,
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: don't sit you tell me me. And Trump got something comment,
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: I don't want to hit it right now. I don't
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: want to hit up. Yeah, that's really what I thought
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: it was. He was like, slow down, stop you talking
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: too much? Yeah, yeah, anyway, we'll have more of the
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: Steve Harvey morning show and trending news coming up at

- 1:19:14Speaker 1: and some closing remarks from the wonderful, the wise, the
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: one and only Steve Harvey right after this at forty
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: nine after you're listening, all right, here we are, Steve,
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: last break of the day on this Tuesday, and you're
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: gonna leave us with some closing remarks. It was a
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: pretty good day to day, wouldn't you say? Yeah, a
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: pretty good day. I got something for you though. All right,
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: let's go in the vein of encouraging people. I want
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: to inspire people to go for it. Okay, Steve, what
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: you're talking about? Whatever? It is. Whatever it is that
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: you've been hesitating about, whatever it is that you've been
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: procrastinating about, whatever it is that you've been waiting on
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: the right time, whatever it is that you've kind of
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: been fearful of. I want you to go for it.
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: And I'm gonna tell you why, man, Because this thing
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: we have called life, in the total scheme of the
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: evolution of the world and all that it is, we
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: all have such a very short time here, and oftentimes
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: it seems like some of the good ones times absolutely
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: gets cut just way too short. But I want to
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: encourage you to go forward. Now. Is it gonna take
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: a deep breath to go forward? Yes it will. Is
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: it gonna take a bold spirit to go forward, Yes
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: it will. Is it gonna take some risk to go forward? Probably?
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: Is it going to require a tough decision to make.
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: I'm sure it is, But I'm telling you that it
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: will be well worth the decision to go for it.
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: I was at the mentoring camp this weekend and I
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: was showing that young kids my vision board and some
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: adults were there, and the kids were just glued to
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: what I was telling them about accomplishing your dreams. But
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: some adults who had been whipped by life a little bit,
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: I would imagine as I had and everything they didn't.
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: They couldn't quite see what I was saying. So a
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: guy came up to me afterwards and he said, you know,
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: mister Harvey, not to discourage you in any way, but
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: that's a really really lofty financial goal you have of making.
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: Do you really think you need that much money? I said, no, no,
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: I don't. He said, well, why would you run the
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: risk of disappointing yourself by aiming at something that you
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: might not get to Because that number you got with
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: a three on it, I mean, he said, Hey, man,
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: what happens if you only get one of those? I said,
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: if I got one of those instead of three of those,
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: do you think I could still live a really, really
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: wonderful life. He said, mister, I think you live in
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: a wonderful life now, I said, I am, sir. He said,
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: But why would you want to run the risk of
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: falling short of that goal and the three and you
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: only end up with one? What does that say about you?
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: It will say the same thing that my life says
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: about me right now. It says that I'm successful, he said,
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: But you failed at your goal. I said, no, no,
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: I did my absolute best. I landed where I landed.
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: I said, see, brother, the problem you're looking at. The
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: problem isn't aiming too high and miss it. See if
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: I don't get three billion and I end up with
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: just one billion, I said, my man, I can promise
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: you I won't be sitting with somewhere disappointed in shame
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: of myself. I say, your problem is not aiming too
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: high and missing. Your problem is if you aim too
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: low and you hit it. I say, see, what happens
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: to a lot of people is they go okay, and
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: they make their goal somewhere where they know they can
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: reach it. Let's say, and I'm not knocking anybody, let's
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: just say your goal is twenty five thousand. I'm not
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: knocking this figure. I'm just using this number, y'all. So
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: don't anybody please don't. Take a person and you shoot
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: for twenty five thousand, and the other person says, well,
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: mine is one hundred thousand, and you both strike out
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: to make the goal. The person whose goal was twenty
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: five thousand, I mean there was one hundred thousand, he
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: misses it. He ends up with eighty five thousand. The
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: person whose goal was twenty five thousand, he hits it
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: and he gets twenty five thousand. You see the situation
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: we have now now, the one who did the eighty
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: five goals. Wow, man, if I could have tried a
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: little bit hard, if i'd have done this, I could
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: have corrected this. I could have done this, I probably
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: would have made it. Had I done that, I probably
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: would have got that. The person with the twenty five
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: thousand is in celebration mode. Oh man, look what I did.
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: I did it. I'm cool, I got it, and there's
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: nothing wrong with that. You should celebrate your victories. But
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: if that's all you ever wanted is at twenty five,
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: do you know what. Shortly you're gonna be out of
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: that twenty five and you have to get back again.
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: But this person who missed a hundred and ended at
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: eighty five, to me, it just seems to be a
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: little bit further up the road, so he may make
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: his goal next time two hundred and fifty. Let's suppose
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: he missed that, and don't give but two hundred. But
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: if you just keep setting low goals and you keep
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: hitting them, and all you want is low goals, so
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: you don't ever have to feel disappointed. You don't have
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: to have to admit defeat, you don't ever have to
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: feel fearful because everything you're going too doesn't require a
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: deep breath, a leap of faith or jump. I got
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: news for you. You're gonna live a real regular life.
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: And if that's what you want, it ain't nothing wrong
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: with it at all. But if you, like so many
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: of people that I know, if you want more, you're
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: gonna have to do more. You're gonna have to give more,
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: and you're gonna certainly have to be more. Go forward,
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: don't give up. Go forward, y'all have a great weekends.
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: You don't know when the weekend is, but great words
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: for all. Steve Harvey Contests no purchase necessary, void where prohibited.
